- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know y'all all looking back to back down, giving
- 0:13Speaker 1: them just like theming bu things and it's not true.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Good Steve har to start joy, you gotta use that turn.
- 1:24Speaker 1: You gotta turn to turn them out. Turn my love,
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn out to turn the water the water.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your bad I sure will a good
- 2:04Speaker 1: morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, come on dig
- 2:07Speaker 1: me now. One and only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Oh man, Steve Harvey got a radio show because God.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Because God is simply amazing, because God is off the chain,
- 2:20Speaker 1: because God is over the top, because God is all
- 2:23Speaker 1: that in a bag of chips. God will take you
- 2:26Speaker 1: places that you never ever thought you would go, or
- 2:30Speaker 1: you know what it Sometimes it amazes me when I'm
- 2:33Speaker 1: watching all people talk about themselves and their careers and
- 2:38Speaker 1: where they're adding life and things and they and I
- 2:41Speaker 1: hear people say, you know, always dreamed of being him.
- 2:44Speaker 1: I can understand when a person says that I've always
- 2:47Speaker 1: dreamed that of something like this would happen to me.
- 2:51Speaker 1: But I want you to think about that for a second.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Did you really see it just like that, though, Did
- 2:59Speaker 1: you really know that God was gonna bring you through
- 3:02Speaker 1: all he bought you through to get you to this place?
- 3:07Speaker 1: Did you know that, in spite of the losses along
- 3:10Speaker 1: the way that would crumble the average person, that somehow
- 3:14Speaker 1: He kept you through it all and that's how you
- 3:16Speaker 1: got here. Have you forgotten all the times He was
- 3:21Speaker 1: bringing you through when you didn't see no way that
- 3:24Speaker 1: you was gonna get through? Do you remember that? So
- 3:28Speaker 1: when you sit there and you say, I dreamed of this,
- 3:32Speaker 1: this is what I always saw happening, I don't really think. So,
- 3:36Speaker 1: I don't really think. If you take inventory, or real
- 3:39Speaker 1: close inventory of your life and you look back on
- 3:42Speaker 1: it all, stop looking at the moment right now, remember
- 3:45Speaker 1: where you come from. See, that's what gets me emotional sometimes,
- 3:49Speaker 1: that's what makes me tear up, because when something is
- 3:52Speaker 1: happening to me in the moment, it ain't the moment
- 3:55Speaker 1: for me, it's the memory of how I got there.
- 4:00Speaker 1: This is kind of for young people today, you know,
- 4:03Speaker 1: because I work with a lot of young people and
- 4:05Speaker 1: and so many times, man, young people just don't understand
- 4:11Speaker 1: what all it takes. And I know, and if you're
- 4:14Speaker 1: a full grown adult. If you're forty, you you really
- 4:17Speaker 1: understanding where I'm coming from, because you know it's listen
- 4:23Speaker 1: to me, young people or anybody that don't understand this,
- 4:27Speaker 1: that you got to do some things that you don't
- 4:29Speaker 1: want to do in order to do what you want
- 4:33Speaker 1: to do. You have to understand this principle of success
- 4:37Speaker 1: or else you are not going to become successful. I
- 4:41Speaker 1: got what you want to do. I got your ultimate goal,
- 4:45Speaker 1: is this, that, and the other? I got all of that.
- 4:47Speaker 1: But in the meantime, though, there are some necessary steps
- 4:52Speaker 1: that you have to take in order to become successful.
- 4:55Speaker 1: And you cannot skip these steps. You can't jump over
- 4:58Speaker 1: these steps just because you you want to be rich Friday,
- 5:01Speaker 1: I got that. I got that. Everybody got that. But
- 5:06Speaker 1: if you want this, whatever you're talking about, whether it's
- 5:10Speaker 1: money or success or fame or climbing the corporate letter
- 5:13Speaker 1: or this is the position or you all, that's fine,
- 5:17Speaker 1: and Danny, please hold on to your dreams. Dreams come true.
- 5:22Speaker 1: But in the meantime, let me remind you of something
- 5:26Speaker 1: that you gotta do some things you don't want to
- 5:29Speaker 1: do in order to do what you want to do.
- 5:32Speaker 1: You must get this in your head that are some
- 5:36Speaker 1: survival things that you have to master in order to
- 5:40Speaker 1: do what you want to do. Let's take it down.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Let's say you want to be rich and famous. Let's
- 5:46Speaker 1: just say that's it for you. Let's sit It's a
- 5:48Speaker 1: lot of other ways of being successful. Please don't think
- 5:51Speaker 1: that's the only one. But I'm just saying, let's just
- 5:52Speaker 1: say yours is rich and famous. And let's say some
- 5:56Speaker 1: miraculous way God made you rich and famous. Next Friday,
- 6:02Speaker 1: Ta ya you rich and you famous? Next Friday? Can
- 6:06Speaker 1: I share something with you? This is not going to
- 6:08Speaker 1: last for you. You know why because you have not
- 6:12Speaker 1: done the things necessary. You have not done the things
- 6:17Speaker 1: that you have to do in order to do the
- 6:20Speaker 1: things you want. So now you're rich and famous, how
- 6:24Speaker 1: you gonna know how to budget money? How are you
- 6:27Speaker 1: gonna know how to get up and keep clawing towards
- 6:29Speaker 1: the top when you fall off your pedestal? How are
- 6:33Speaker 1: you gonna know how to reinvent yourself if you didn't
- 6:35Speaker 1: even invent yourself in the first place. See, it's so
- 6:39Speaker 1: many things. You got to know about something, and you think,
- 6:43Speaker 1: because it's what you want right now, it's supposed to
- 6:45Speaker 1: happen just now. It's a process. When you ask God
- 6:48Speaker 1: for something. Please know God know the process. He knows
- 6:52Speaker 1: the necessary steps to take you through. Don't lose your
- 6:55Speaker 1: patience with God because your dreams ain't coming true right now? Man,
- 7:02Speaker 1: you know you know I think the best way y'all
- 7:04Speaker 1: is for me. I just used myself as an example.
- 7:07Speaker 1: I really do understand why God has given me the
- 7:10Speaker 1: life he's giving me so far. I understand that being
- 7:12Speaker 1: homeless part. Now, I get the not being successful when
- 7:17Speaker 1: I want it to part. Now, I get it. I
- 7:19Speaker 1: got the delayed entry into the field of choice for myself.
- 7:23Speaker 1: I got it now. I've been wanting to be on
- 7:25Speaker 1: TV and a little comedian since I was nine years old.
- 7:28Speaker 1: But guess what, I didn't get there until I was
- 7:30Speaker 1: twenty eight. But see, I didn't get it then. I
- 7:34Speaker 1: was mad at God. You know what, I won't I
- 7:37Speaker 1: send it here here. I got exactly what you want.
- 7:39Speaker 1: But I got this process. I want you to go
- 7:41Speaker 1: through to get here too, because see, I'm fit to
- 7:44Speaker 1: take you somewhere. You don't know nothing, but one day
- 7:46Speaker 1: you're gonna have a radio show with You're a little
- 7:47Speaker 1: stupid behind. You don't know this year I'm gonna bless
- 7:50Speaker 1: you with a radio show. You don't even know it.
- 7:53Speaker 1: That's why I say every morning, Steve Harvey got a
- 7:55Speaker 1: radio show because see I didn't I didn't see this
- 7:57Speaker 1: one coming. But see God had a plan for He
- 8:00Speaker 1: was in the blueprint of my life. So God said,
- 8:02Speaker 1: what I'm gonna do is, I'm gonna make your life
- 8:04Speaker 1: a little rough for you. I'm gonna toss you up
- 8:07Speaker 1: a little bit. I'm I'm gonna let you make some
- 8:10Speaker 1: of these stupid decisions you wanna make it. I'm gonna
- 8:12Speaker 1: make you learn from them. I'm I'm gonna let you
- 8:15Speaker 1: be homeless for a little while. I'm gonna let you
- 8:18Speaker 1: not get into your field a choice until you're twenty eight.
- 8:21Speaker 1: I'm gonna have people talking about if we had only
- 8:24Speaker 1: seen him when he was younger. I ain't gonna let
- 8:26Speaker 1: you get your first call your name till your thirty eight.
- 8:28Speaker 1: I'm gonna make you go through some things because one
- 8:31Speaker 1: day I'm gonna put a microphone in front of your mouth,
- 8:34Speaker 1: and I want you to honor me. I want you
- 8:36Speaker 1: to talk about me. I want you to tell people
- 8:39Speaker 1: what I bought you through. I want you to give
- 8:41Speaker 1: people inspirational moments where they can see that your life
- 8:44Speaker 1: was jacked up for a minute and I turned your
- 8:46Speaker 1: life around for you. That's God dealing with me. See
- 8:50Speaker 1: so now I finally understand why I went through the
- 8:54Speaker 1: life I went through, so I can have something to say. See,
- 8:57Speaker 1: I ain't over here telling you about what I think
- 8:59Speaker 1: or had. I'm telling you what I know can happen.
- 9:02Speaker 1: That God does make dreams come true, but sometime it
- 9:06Speaker 1: take a minute. Sometimes you're gonna have to do some
- 9:08Speaker 1: things you don't want to do in order to do
- 9:11Speaker 1: what you want to do. Yeah, I finally got on TV,
- 9:14Speaker 1: but I had to learn some things along the way. See,
- 9:17Speaker 1: maybe He waited for me to get some of these
- 9:19Speaker 1: messages for He gave me this gift that I want
- 9:22Speaker 1: so I would appreciate it more. See when you don't
- 9:24Speaker 1: get into comedy when you to you twenty eight and
- 9:26Speaker 1: you've been wanting it since you nine, Now when you
- 9:28Speaker 1: get into it, you appreciate it more. Then. Guess what
- 9:31Speaker 1: I've been through so many struggles and a divorce, and
- 9:34Speaker 1: life had turned me around. So when I became homeless,
- 9:37Speaker 1: I still didn't give up because I had appreciated the
- 9:41Speaker 1: fact that it took me so long to get here
- 9:44Speaker 1: that nothing was gonna deter me, and he gave me
- 9:46Speaker 1: the fortitude and the strength to hang on in there.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Just don't leave him out the mix, okay, because you're
- 9:52Speaker 1: trying to do this by yourself. It ain't working for you,
- 9:54Speaker 1: all right, All that you, I'm gonna be tripping it

- 13:59Speaker 1: one is from Sandy in Charlotte, North Carolina. Sandy is
- 14:03Speaker 1: thirty two year old female and she broke up with
- 14:05Speaker 1: her boyfriend last week after he had his wisdom teeth pulled.
- 14:09Speaker 1: After his procedure, he was still sedated, but he talked
- 14:12Speaker 1: all the way home. He called me his ex girlfriend's
- 14:16Speaker 1: name over and over and said he loves her and
- 14:19Speaker 1: he's glad they got back together. Wait, he gets better.
- 14:25Speaker 1: I told him that my name is Sandy and his
- 14:27Speaker 1: ex girlfriend is married. He started crying. He was so
- 14:32Speaker 1: hurt because she is the love of his life. Now
- 14:35Speaker 1: he's telling all this to his current girlfriend. Of course,
- 14:38Speaker 1: he doesn't remember any of this, and he keeps telling
- 14:41Speaker 1: me that he truly loves me. He blames everything on
- 14:44Speaker 1: the sedative, but I think he's still in love with
- 14:46Speaker 1: his ex. What do you think, clo, Wow, this is
- 14:51Speaker 1: my favorite. When he busted out crying, that's the move
- 14:58Speaker 1: I like, cousin. Yes, I think he busted her crying
- 15:01Speaker 1: when you busted it. Oh God. I said her that
- 15:07Speaker 1: she's the love of his life. Is that yeah? That
- 15:11Speaker 1: that dog going drug stuff is a monster. Man. I've
- 15:14Speaker 1: said some stuff coming out of sedation a couple of times.
- 15:17Speaker 1: I told her in the operating room. One time when
- 15:20Speaker 1: I had that procedure, they said, wow, your husband really
- 15:25Speaker 1: loves you. He told us on his way out, if
- 15:28Speaker 1: he don't wake up. He gonna kill everybody. Oh you
- 15:31Speaker 1: say that sober? Yeah, I know, getna hear well? I
- 15:36Speaker 1: said that. Yeah, guilty is charged. They said. One time
- 15:40Speaker 1: I woke up and I was crying, talking about I
- 15:42Speaker 1: want my wife, if I want my wife, and I said,
- 15:45Speaker 1: I don't know getting here. Well, I wasn't crying, she said, Steve,
- 15:48Speaker 1: everybody in there say you was crying. I said, you
- 15:50Speaker 1: tell that to somebody here and see what happened, so
- 15:54Speaker 1: it can happen. I think he uh, he shouldn't have
- 15:58Speaker 1: talked about his girlfriend if he If it ain't in you,
- 16:00Speaker 1: it can't come out exactly, Steve. You know what I mean.
- 16:04Speaker 1: So I mean he's thinking about it. You know. Men
- 16:07Speaker 1: know that's what I say. He does love you, but
- 16:11Speaker 1: she's still in there. But just give it some time. Y'all.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Ain't been dating that long? Right, how long they've been dating?
- 16:17Speaker 1: They've been together for a minute. She didn't really say
- 16:21Speaker 1: how long. She just says she's thirty two and they
- 16:24Speaker 1: broke up last week. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's all. They
- 16:26Speaker 1: might not have been with you long enough. Yeah yeah,
- 16:30Speaker 1: so all right. Well this one is from Keith in
- 16:32Speaker 1: Las Vegas. Keith says, wait, do you hear this one?
- 16:35Speaker 1: He's a sixty one year sixty one year old retiree.
- 16:38Speaker 1: He was married for twenty seven years. He got caught
- 16:40Speaker 1: cheating and his wife divorced him. I just started online
- 16:44Speaker 1: dating and it's kept me busy. The women I date
- 16:47Speaker 1: are younger, in their late forties, and they're also looking
- 16:51Speaker 1: for a good time. But they don't know how to
- 16:53Speaker 1: please a man like me. When I'm with a woman,
- 16:56Speaker 1: I need her to talk to me, tell me how
- 16:59Speaker 1: she likes it, and tells me what I'm showing tell
- 17:02Speaker 1: tell me that I'm showing out. I can't believe how
- 17:05Speaker 1: selfish these women are. It's all about them, and they
- 17:08Speaker 1: are quiet and shy in the bedroom. Should I tell
- 17:11Speaker 1: these women what I expect from them beforehand? Well you
- 17:14Speaker 1: can tell them. But if you want somebody to tell
- 17:17Speaker 1: you that you showing out, maybe you ain't showing out,
- 17:22Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. Dog, Maybe you ain't all that.
- 17:24Speaker 1: You want everybody cheating you own and clapping. You know
- 17:27Speaker 1: you want, you want everybody to put on pom pom,
- 17:30Speaker 1: But maybe you're not putting on a pom Pom type performance.
- 17:34Speaker 1: So he's not that. Yeah, you want all this praise.
- 17:38Speaker 1: You know, I like a woman please me. Well maybe
- 17:41Speaker 1: they like a man to please. Do you know what
- 17:45Speaker 1: I'm saying. Just because you got called cheating don't mean
- 17:47Speaker 1: it was good. Yeah, you could have been still been
- 17:50Speaker 1: with your wife if you were in cheating. I mean
- 17:53Speaker 1: you know. Plus if you was all that good, your
- 17:55Speaker 1: wife might have gave you another chance. Oh yeah, oh
- 18:02Speaker 1: yeah he deserves side dog. Sorry about that dog. I
- 18:06Speaker 1: just ain't handle the whales to go with your Keith,
- 18:08Speaker 1: my bad clew. I probably don't even know you at all,
- 18:11Speaker 1: so just right, that's off as a joke. Next question,
- 18:14Speaker 1: All right, this is from Tea and Evanston, Illinois. T says,
- 18:18Speaker 1: I'm forty four years old and my fiance is thirty five.
- 18:21Speaker 1: She's got a two year old son, and my two
- 18:24Speaker 1: children are grown. She wants one more child and I don't.
- 18:28Speaker 1: I jokingly told her that she can have a baby
- 18:31Speaker 1: by her ex, so that when he comes in to
- 18:33Speaker 1: get his two year old, he can get the new
- 18:35Speaker 1: baby too. I told her that her ex could artificially
- 18:39Speaker 1: inseminate her instead of having sex. My fiance says, I'm
- 18:43Speaker 1: crazy for thinking this way. I was joking, but if
- 18:46Speaker 1: it makes her happy, she can really do it. Why
- 18:49Speaker 1: would she get mad at me for offering her a
- 18:51Speaker 1: good solution? Hey? Dog, are you for real? Man? What's
- 18:54Speaker 1: wrong with you? Yeah? You're gonna offer your girl love
- 18:58Speaker 1: as a freebete her ex? So when he come get this,
- 19:02Speaker 1: when he can pick the other one up too? Bro,
- 19:06Speaker 1: that ain't even funny. I don't know how you thought
- 19:10Speaker 1: it was a joke. I promise you she wasn't laughing.
- 19:13Speaker 1: So you know, bro, maybe why are you Why are
- 19:17Speaker 1: you wanting to marry her? Yeah? I mean that doesn't
- 19:21Speaker 1: sound like you really love her. She says she want
- 19:23Speaker 1: one more child, she only thirty five years old. You
- 19:27Speaker 1: know you don't want none. So now you're talking when
- 19:30Speaker 1: you had one with your ex. Man, that ain't really
- 19:33Speaker 1: That's not really cool, bro, to tell you the truth. Man,
- 19:37Speaker 1: t you a little out of line with that one? Man?
- 19:39Speaker 1: You ought to apologize and take that off the table. Yeah,
- 19:42Speaker 1: and he says, why would she get mad at me
- 19:44Speaker 1: for offering her a good solution because you offered her
- 19:48Speaker 1: up to her ex? Yeah, come on artificial insemination or
- 19:53Speaker 1: any other way. Yeah right, But he feels it's not sex,
- 19:56Speaker 1: so it's okay. Yeah, really, yeah, okay, okay, well let
- 20:01Speaker 1: me tell you something. You're gonna be with the baby
- 20:04Speaker 1: Wayne Molden when he come to pick it up. Yeah,
- 20:07Speaker 1: so he's gonna be sitting over there looking just like
- 20:10Speaker 1: her ex. And I think that's what they should be
- 20:13Speaker 1: discussing the fact that he doesn't want children and the
- 20:16Speaker 1: fact that she does. Because this is not a good

- 22:15Speaker 1: your number here here. It is a nut show. My
- 22:20Speaker 1: wife and I evidently you're and you and your wife
- 22:23Speaker 1: have been going through the same type of problems with

- 22:31Speaker 1: five months pregnant. I'm not sure. Yeah wait man, yeah,
- 22:35Speaker 1: my wife is exactly five months pregnant. But I'm still
- 22:37Speaker 1: confused on how you're getting in touch with me and
- 22:39Speaker 1: what this has to do with me. Well, I mean,
- 22:41Speaker 1: all that stuff that we've gone through is totally confidential,
- 22:43Speaker 1: and I'm kind of offended that you're calling me. I
- 22:46Speaker 1: understand that. Well, what's what's happening is, um, I got
- 22:49Speaker 1: a phone call from the doctor's office to day. It

- 22:55Speaker 1: Evidently your wife has been artificially inseminated with if my seed.
- 23:02Speaker 1: And I was what I mean, I'm just as disturbed

- 23:29Speaker 1: okkay wait a minute, no, no, no, no, so make
- 23:34Speaker 1: up that didn't happen. That doesn't happen. No, way. So
- 23:38Speaker 1: I'm trying to make sure I bring the news to
- 23:39Speaker 1: you and see if there's anything that we can do
- 23:41Speaker 1: to I mean, I mean, after being five months pregnant
- 23:43Speaker 1: is kind of hard to rectify the problem. So Okay,
- 23:46Speaker 1: I want this to sound rude, and I don't want
- 23:48Speaker 1: to sound wrong. You said, baby daddy, are you black? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 23:54Speaker 1: yeah yeah black? And my wife is gonna have a
- 23:56Speaker 1: black baby. Well, yeah, your wife is gonna have a

- 24:11Speaker 1: of your mind. No, I'm not out of my mind.
- 24:13Speaker 1: I'm just saying I didn't lay down and conceive a
- 24:16Speaker 1: child with your with your wife. So I'm making sure
- 24:20Speaker 1: I'm not going to be paying enough child support. Man,
- 24:22Speaker 1: I'm not even worried about the child support. I'll pay
- 24:25Speaker 1: the doll support. I'm worried about some doctor making a
- 24:29Speaker 1: huge mistake. And and oh my god, your wife is
- 24:33Speaker 1: having to have a black baby. I can't believe that
- 24:35Speaker 1: this is unbelievable, believable, And I can't believe you to
- 24:39Speaker 1: call my house. Why give me the doctor? Should give
- 24:43Speaker 1: me this? What don't you want it? It doesn't matter
- 24:45Speaker 1: who gives you the news, as long as you get
- 24:47Speaker 1: the news. Now what I want you to do with this? Please?
- 24:50Speaker 1: Don't be giving the baby no white names and stuff white.
- 24:55Speaker 1: I can't believe that. This is incredible, incredible, Oh my gosh,
- 25:01Speaker 1: oh calling me, I'm trying to give me that. I'm
- 25:04Speaker 1: ready to go crazy. This is crazy. Okay, this, this

- 25:11Speaker 1: see what I'm saying. This already need to be violent.
- 25:13Speaker 1: You're worried about me, about paying child support and talking
- 25:16Speaker 1: about your seed and your baby's daddy and all. Oh man,
- 25:20Speaker 1: this is this is bringing the best out of me.
- 25:22Speaker 1: I can promise you. Unbelievable. Man. Let me let me
- 25:26Speaker 1: ask you something, sir. Do you think you may need
- 25:28Speaker 1: anger management? I mean, you're not gonna you know, are
- 25:32Speaker 1: you gonna? You're not gonna You're not gonna beat my child?
- 25:34Speaker 1: Are you? Oh? Man, you know how to push man's buttons.
- 25:42Speaker 1: I can promise you, man, that's crazy. No, I ain't
- 25:44Speaker 1: gonna beat nobody's baby. I I don't want you being
- 25:48Speaker 1: violent to me and your wife's baby. Oh, spend this
- 25:53Speaker 1: thing around? Uh? Man, what do you live? Man? Who this? Okay?
- 25:59Speaker 1: Is this because I? Oh man crazy? Well, here's what
- 26:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna ask you. Do you think you might want
- 26:05Speaker 1: to be the godfather to the child to my own kid? No?
- 26:10Speaker 1: I guess it wouldn't be my kid because it's me
- 26:13Speaker 1: and your wife's child. You don't you say that you're crazy?
- 26:17Speaker 1: Don't you say that? Say that drives me even thinking
- 26:21Speaker 1: about something like that. It's me talk about something like that,
- 26:24Speaker 1: but it's me and your wife's child. Thank so, don't
- 26:28Speaker 1: you even talk like that you're crazy? I tear a

- 26:34Speaker 1: you're gonna tell a hole and who hey it in
- 26:36Speaker 1: your head? You crazy? See that? This is the kind
- 26:41Speaker 1: of thing I don't want my child around. This child,
- 26:44Speaker 1: this type of talk, this type of violence to your wife.
- 26:47Speaker 1: Folks get mad and want to kill everybody in the room.
- 26:49Speaker 1: What don't you kill? Who you mad at? Why do
- 26:51Speaker 1: y'all do that? You this? Man? Can I can? I can?

- 28:04Speaker 1: to all know that I had nothing to do with it. Okay.
- 28:09Speaker 1: All I did was introduced to Dan. Your hands up
- 28:13Speaker 1: you would look like my hands was only and if
- 28:19Speaker 1: his hands was this big, he'd have something. That's his
- 28:22Speaker 1: whole problem. He got the little ass hand. I steal
- 28:27Speaker 1: palm of basketball I know. Well, thank you for that.
- 28:37Speaker 1: I hope they work. I'm glad they worked that one

- 29:02Speaker 1: had a good clap back to NFL player Kyle Kierro,
- 29:06Speaker 1: who questioned, why is she a sex symbol? Kyle tweeted,
- 29:10Speaker 1: people are attracted to Jill Scott and by no means
- 29:13Speaker 1: is she ugly, but y'all really sexually aroused by her?
- 29:17Speaker 1: Huh wow wow. Well, Jill Scott had the best response
- 29:22Speaker 1: to Kyle's tweet. She said, wait, I'm trending again. Okay,
- 29:26Speaker 1: then justice for Brianna Taylor, justice for Sandra Bland. Loving
- 29:31Speaker 1: ourselves and each other is respectful and uplifting and supportive.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Eyes on the prize, love Village. Okay, thank you, Jill Scott.
- 29:42Speaker 1: That's how you do it as a man. As a man,
- 29:45Speaker 1: Jill Scott is really fly. A lot of men think so,

- 30:15Speaker 1: know him. Yeah, ok, yeah, why are you tweeting? Dog? Yeah?
- 30:24Speaker 1: Because if you say Jill Scott and what's his name,
- 30:27Speaker 1: Kyle Carrol, Kyle Kill, we know who Jill Scott it?
- 30:32Speaker 1: Who is Kyle? Yeah? That was the name of her
- 30:36Speaker 1: first album. Who is Jill Scott? I'm trying to figure out,

- 30:43Speaker 1: somebody that ain't just famous as Jill. Thank you. I'm

- 31:16Speaker 1: after you now yeah love Village yeah, Eby loves Jill Scott.
- 31:20Speaker 1: Yeah yeah yeah. All right. Well in other news, and
- 31:25Speaker 1: this is really sad, Steve, this is such a sad story.
- 31:28Speaker 1: We were hoping it would turn out better. But actress
- 31:30Speaker 1: Nya Rivera's body has been recovered. Um. She's thirty three
- 31:35Speaker 1: years years old. She was a former star of Glee.
- 31:38Speaker 1: She went missing five days ago when she was out
- 31:42Speaker 1: boating with her four year old son on California's Lake Piriru.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Her son was found unarmed in their rented boat. Unharmed,
- 31:49Speaker 1: I should say, in their rented boat, but Maya had disappeared.
- 31:53Speaker 1: The baby told authorities that she'd gone for a swim
- 31:56Speaker 1: and never returned. Divers said been searching for her since
- 32:01Speaker 1: her disappearance. The lake is known to have numerous tree
- 32:05Speaker 1: lambs and other obstacles under the water, and Rivera is
- 32:08Speaker 1: just one in a series. I think they said it's
- 32:11Speaker 1: she makes nine deaths now that have been there on
- 32:15Speaker 1: Lake Piru. And of course our condolences are going out
- 32:19Speaker 1: to Rivera and her whole family, her little son. Oh
- 32:23Speaker 1: my goodness, that is so sad. Yeah, it really is. Man,
- 32:27Speaker 1: that's that's just bad news. That's just now. But you
- 32:30Speaker 1: know what I mean, there's a lesson in it for everybody. Look,
- 32:33Speaker 1: you get out on these boats, even as recreation, where
- 32:38Speaker 1: your life jacket? I did of a year before last.
- 32:41Speaker 1: I was out on the boat, you know, Tinder, on
- 32:44Speaker 1: my boat trip, and I was flying across the Mediterranean
- 32:48Speaker 1: with no life jacket on it. Somebody, all the lot
- 32:51Speaker 1: of tweets were Steve, you need to wear your life jacket.
- 32:53Speaker 1: And they were absolutely right. They were absolutely right. Yeah,
- 32:58Speaker 1: so where your life that's out there, y'all be careful,
- 33:02Speaker 1: said condolences golds out to Nia's family. Man really really
- 33:06Speaker 1: saying right, all right, Steve, We're gonna switch gears here,
- 33:09Speaker 1: and ladies and gentlemen, Miss Anne Tripp, thank you very much, everybody.
- 33:14Speaker 1: And Louisville, Kentucky. Let's start with this. According to some
- 33:17Speaker 1: newly released recordings, the cops involved in the police killing
- 33:21Speaker 1: of emergency medical technician Brianna Taylor knew immediately they'd murdered
- 33:25Speaker 1: an innocent woman. NBC News reports that a plane closed
- 33:28Speaker 1: officer is heard on tape explained to the young woman's
- 33:31Speaker 1: boyfriend that there had been a quote misunderstanding. The twenty
- 33:35Speaker 1: six year old first responder and her boyfriend were asleep
- 33:38Speaker 1: when cops looking for a drug dealer executed a no
- 33:40Speaker 1: knock warrant, burst in and shot Brianna Taylor to death
- 33:43Speaker 1: eight times in her chest. Neither Miss Taylor or her
- 33:46Speaker 1: boyfriend were involved in any crimes. The suspect they were
- 33:49Speaker 1: looking for had already been arrested at another location. Three
- 33:52Speaker 1: cops burst in, but only one of them has been fired.
- 33:55Speaker 1: In North Carolina, now five former correction officers and a
- 33:58Speaker 1: nurse it for scythe County al in Winston Salem charged
- 34:01Speaker 1: with the death of a black inmate named John Neville
- 34:03Speaker 1: last December. The New York Times reports that the fifty
- 34:06Speaker 1: six year old inmate being held on a charge of assault,
- 34:09Speaker 1: and that the medical examiner says he was restrained on
- 34:11Speaker 1: his stomach for more than twelve minutes, saying he couldn't
- 34:14Speaker 1: breathe and that he sustained injuries that would have caused
- 34:17Speaker 1: him to lose his life. We should say they were
- 34:19Speaker 1: close to sixty three thousand new confirmed cases of COVID
- 34:22Speaker 1: nineteen in the US over the weekend, an increase in
- 34:24Speaker 1: more than eleven thousand from a week earlier. Seven hundred
- 34:27Speaker 1: twenty four people died nationally last Saturday, compared to two
- 34:30Speaker 1: hundred and eighty nine a week before. It's a big jump.
- 34:33Speaker 1: In addition, five states and territory set a record for
- 34:35Speaker 1: coronavirus hospitalizations Puerto Rico, North Carolina, Alaska, Florida, and California.
- 34:41Speaker 1: Eight states set a single day COVID death record last
- 34:44Speaker 1: week Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Dakota, Texas
- 34:49Speaker 1: in Tennessee, and the current situation in Miami continues to worsen,
- 34:53Speaker 1: with more than twelve thousand new coronavirus cases reported yesterday alone.
- 34:57Speaker 1: Despite that fact, though, the Trump Ministry still pushing for
- 35:00Speaker 1: the schools to open next month. White House Press Secretary
- 35:04Speaker 1: Kaalia McKinney says schools provide essential services, and she says
- 35:07Speaker 1: that makes educated as essential workers. The consequences are grave
- 35:10Speaker 1: if we stay shut down, and there's a way for
- 35:12Speaker 1: essential workers to go back to work, just as our
- 35:15Speaker 1: meat packing facilities did, just as you are in the
- 35:17Speaker 1: media are essential workers. We believe our teachers are as
- 35:19Speaker 1: well well. By the way. President Trump is once more
- 35:22Speaker 1: questioning the expertise of his own health officials as well
- 35:25Speaker 1: as the centers for disease Control. He's now retweeting a
- 35:28Speaker 1: rather familiar conspiracy theory, this time coming from this guy
- 35:31Speaker 1: today our host, Yeah, the President of the United States
- 35:37Speaker 1: retweeting an idea by the former game host who says
- 35:41Speaker 1: that quote, media, democrats, and doctors are lying about COVID
- 35:44Speaker 1: nineteen in an effort to her Trump in the November
- 35:46Speaker 1: general election. Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 35:50Speaker 1: You're listening to show and trending viral video new celebrity
- 35:56Speaker 1: family feud this past Sunday, Steve, it was a battle
- 35:59Speaker 1: of NFL greats on them celebrity family feud as NFL
- 36:03Speaker 1: current stars versus NFL Hall of Famers. That was the show.
- 36:07Speaker 1: While playing in the Fast Money round, Uh, take a listen,
- 36:11Speaker 1: this is funny. Captain Hook was moonlighting as a handy man.
- 36:16Speaker 1: He might replace his hook with what tool? A hammer?
- 36:21Speaker 1: Try again, a penis? Tell me the age of kid
- 36:25Speaker 1: is too old to sleep with a tech? What he said?
- 36:35Speaker 1: Come on, we can't start this year. We can't come
- 36:38Speaker 1: on now, we can't go ahead. Sorry, we can't go
- 36:42Speaker 1: on here. I'm sorry. Let go, let go, let go
- 36:45Speaker 1: came sorry. I'm sorry, I swear, I swear, I'm sorry
- 36:50Speaker 1: that that just came out. I don't even know where
- 36:52Speaker 1: that came from. I was reading the question and then
- 36:55Speaker 1: I said what, I'm sorry, Okay, can we start over?
- 37:01Speaker 1: I'm sorry your ass going on YouTube though? A man?
- 37:11Speaker 1: You know what I said, Bruce smith Man, good buddy.
- 37:15Speaker 1: I knew that. I just knew they wasn't gonna keep
- 37:18Speaker 1: that ain't the way? Well because when he said a
- 37:25Speaker 1: penis and I went to reading into the next question,
- 37:30Speaker 1: and then I heard him say it in my head
- 37:32Speaker 1: again and I said, what did he say? And I
- 37:40Speaker 1: looked at him and he just took off running. Irvan
- 37:43Speaker 1: then was in the floor. Man, all let me tell
- 37:47Speaker 1: you something, man, we had to stop taping for damn
- 37:49Speaker 1: to eight minutes. That audience, that audience was running in
- 37:56Speaker 1: a circle throwing up. But why did he say why?
- 38:01Speaker 1: Because hammer? His first answer was he had to try again, right,
- 38:07Speaker 1: And that made sense. Yeah, but you went from hammerton
- 38:10Speaker 1: know poenis? And then I tried to read the next
- 38:13Speaker 1: question and then I just heard it again and I
- 38:18Speaker 1: looked at Bruce like, I couldn't believe it. But boy,
- 38:21Speaker 1: let me tell you something. Eight minutes, we couldn't take
- 38:25Speaker 1: that audience right there, they was gone, Steve, you are
- 38:29Speaker 1: trending on every complication article, Yahoo New York Posts, the
- 38:38Speaker 1: Hollywood Reporter, Atlanta Journal Constitution. Because I couldn't even. I
- 38:44Speaker 1: couldn't even believe. What are you talking? What hot? What
- 38:50Speaker 1: check out? And I just cussed because I couldn't even
- 38:54Speaker 1: And the word you thought, I said, that's exactly what
- 38:58Speaker 1: Celebrity Family feard. Sunday Night, eight seven pm Central. Coming
- 39:03Speaker 1: up at thirty four minutes after the hour, the President
- 39:05Speaker 1: says he likes doctor Foulci, even though his retweet says
- 39:09Speaker 1: something else. We'll talk about it right after this. You're
- 39:12Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. The White House
- 39:16Speaker 1: and the President have taken an unusual step of attacking
- 39:20Speaker 1: a member of its Coronavirus Task Force, including an effort
- 39:24Speaker 1: to damage doctor Fauci's reputation. But yesterday, the President said
- 39:28Speaker 1: he had a great relationship with doctor Fouchi and liked
- 39:31Speaker 1: him personally. But did you see when the President retweeted
- 39:34Speaker 1: a tweet from former Love Connection game show host Chuck Woolery.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Did you see this good Chuck Woolery posted? Everyone is lying,
- 39:45Speaker 1: the CDC, the media, Democrats are doctors, not all, but
- 39:50Speaker 1: most we are told to trust. In an ABC News poll,
- 39:54Speaker 1: sixty seven percent of Americans say they disapprove of the
- 39:58Speaker 1: President's handling of the coronavirus US. Wow. Is the president
- 40:06Speaker 1: retweeting retweeting Chuck Woolery because he says something that gets
- 40:15Speaker 1: on his side? Why is this president going against doctor
- 40:19Speaker 1: Fauci who is speaking of nothing but facts and science
- 40:23Speaker 1: when you have a pandemic, We're talking about facts and science, right.
- 40:29Speaker 1: Your opinion matters, not in here. The numbers are the numbers.
- 40:34Speaker 1: We have the most cases because we do the most testing,
- 40:38Speaker 1: We have the most test. We have the most cases,
- 40:42Speaker 1: mister President, because most people got it. It ain't the
- 40:46Speaker 1: damned test. If if we didn't have it, the test
- 40:51Speaker 1: would come back negative. But we have the most cases
- 40:55Speaker 1: because we got the most people that's got it. And
- 40:58Speaker 1: it's not from most testing, it's from the most infected.
- 41:04Speaker 1: And for us, I don't care if you're Republican or
- 41:07Speaker 1: what for you not to get that through your thick head.
- 41:11Speaker 1: And now I'm forcing schools to open Look, I know
- 41:15Speaker 1: you're tired of home school. Yeah I don't have no
- 41:18Speaker 1: kids I have. I know parents are sicking time, but
- 41:21Speaker 1: you want to risk your child So this dude can
- 41:26Speaker 1: say he opened up schools. See here's the other thing
- 41:30Speaker 1: about Trump. Little baron ain't got to go up to
- 41:33Speaker 1: the school with the eight hundred other kids. Yeah. Here's
- 41:37Speaker 1: the thing too about school kids. Most kids they want
- 41:40Speaker 1: to go to school. School. It's for sports, it's social,
- 41:45Speaker 1: it's it's a lot of it. It's learning. Kids like
- 41:47Speaker 1: to learn. So to even let the kids go back
- 41:50Speaker 1: to school and then pull them back out of school
- 41:52Speaker 1: again because somebody got infected again, have it. It's it's
- 41:56Speaker 1: traumatic all the way around. You're affecting these kids and
- 41:59Speaker 1: the decisions that we're making. So let's do it right.
- 42:02Speaker 1: Let's get a handle of all this and then open
- 42:05Speaker 1: the schools back up and get everything back to some
- 42:08Speaker 1: kind of normalcy that we know. But he's so selfish,
- 42:12Speaker 1: he don't care about other people near children and what
- 42:15Speaker 1: we have to go to. Like what you just said, Steve,
- 42:17Speaker 1: and note to mention the teachers can get infected. I
- 42:20Speaker 1: mean the stone is cateria workers and bus drivers. It's
- 42:26Speaker 1: a lot that goes on everyone's schul connected. Yeah, this
- 42:31Speaker 1: is crazy, it really is. And to Chuck Willery and
- 42:35Speaker 1: we all let's go back to him love connection. But
- 42:39Speaker 1: he is not a Politician's ads have no basis in truth. Yeah,
- 42:46Speaker 1: where did he get his metal medical degree? Come on,
- 42:49Speaker 1: why are you quoting this putting it on your Twitter?
- 42:52Speaker 1: This will be in history. But why is he all
- 42:55Speaker 1: the president disputing the facts science? Little bit? Just because
- 43:01Speaker 1: you say it's not that bad doesn't make it so.
- 43:06Speaker 1: It's really bad. And look, and people that get it
- 43:11Speaker 1: is harmless. Tell that to the hundreds of thousands of
- 43:16Speaker 1: people who have lost love ones and who have died. Yeah,
- 43:20Speaker 1: tell that to them how harmless it was. See, that's
- 43:24Speaker 1: that's an insult to people who've lost it. It's very selfish,
- 43:29Speaker 1: it really is. Listen, y'all, if we don't do something
- 43:32Speaker 1: about this, four more years of this guy right here,
- 43:36Speaker 1: you don't know what this man is gonna do. He's
- 43:38Speaker 1: already pardoned all his friends and all his other friends. Asked,
- 43:43Speaker 1: is in jail? Yeah all right, Well to answer that, Steve, today,
- 43:48Speaker 1: there are runoff primary elections in Texas, Alabama, and Maine.
- 43:53Speaker 1: Please put your masks on and get out and vote
- 43:56Speaker 1: to day. That's what you're gonna do. Yeah, all right,
- 44:00Speaker 1: Coming up next, we're gonna switch gears the nephews out today.
- 44:04Speaker 1: Steve will introduce a prank phone call that's coming up
- 44:07Speaker 1: right after this you're listening show coming up at the
- 44:13Speaker 1: top of the hour, right about four minutes after. It's
- 44:17Speaker 1: my strawberry letter for today. The subject at least my
- 44:20Speaker 1: fiance is honest. Okay, at least my fiance is honest.
- 44:24Speaker 1: But right now nephew's out. Uncle is here though, to
- 44:28Speaker 1: introduce the prank phone call. What you got for is today?

- 45:03Speaker 1: assuming this is your demo. You have a demo that's

- 45:09Speaker 1: songs on it, right, yes, okay, hey listen, I am
- 45:13Speaker 1: actually putting together a female group. One of my employees
- 45:16Speaker 1: gave me your stuff and I've been listening to it.
- 45:18Speaker 1: I liked the tune. I liked the vibe and wanted
- 45:21Speaker 1: to see if if there's something of interest to you,
- 45:23Speaker 1: if you'd like maybe being a female group. What kind
- 45:27Speaker 1: of female group? Four females in one group. How do
- 45:29Speaker 1: you feel about that? I think that could be workable. Okay, okay,
- 45:34Speaker 1: hold on, I want to say, Okay, who is that?
- 45:38Speaker 1: That's Diddy Diddy. I'll call him back, tell him I'm
- 45:41Speaker 1: working on this group I talked him about. Okay, sorry
- 45:44Speaker 1: about that. Hello. Okay, yeah, you listening to him? Yes?
- 45:47Speaker 1: Are you okay? Good deal? So listen if you don't mind,
- 45:50Speaker 1: could you? Uh? And I know I'm catching you off?
- 45:51Speaker 1: God like this here? You know, ice man, Really, I
- 45:54Speaker 1: really don't normally get on the phone and call people,
- 45:56Speaker 1: but I'm heavy about this group and getting it out.
- 46:00Speaker 1: I got pumped out here on my butt about it.
- 46:02Speaker 1: And you know, he's one of the producers on this thing,
- 46:04Speaker 1: and I'm trying to really bring this thing to a head.
- 46:06Speaker 1: So why don't you do me a favor if you can,
- 46:08Speaker 1: If you don't mind, I take it right. Yes, could
- 46:10Speaker 1: you could you possibly maybe uh seeing something for me
- 46:13Speaker 1: real quick so I can just you know, I just
- 46:15Speaker 1: want to hear straight from the straight from your your
- 46:17Speaker 1: mouth to my ear. If you don't mind anything, okay,
- 46:21Speaker 1: there's a heelo. If you're look inside your heart, you
- 46:27Speaker 1: don't have to be afraid. Yeah, what do you want?
- 46:32Speaker 1: There's any if you're reading through your soul and the
- 46:40Speaker 1: soul that you know. Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, I
- 46:48Speaker 1: don't want to say who is that right? Don't think
- 46:53Speaker 1: I got his solo? Tell him I'm gonna listen to it.
- 46:54Speaker 1: Tell him I'm working on a female group right now.
- 46:56Speaker 1: Tell him I get back at it. I'm sorry, darling. Hello,
- 47:00Speaker 1: I apologize for all interruptions. That was good. That was good.

- 47:30Speaker 1: little bit. You know, I always see what about Kissa?
- 47:33Speaker 1: Call kiss? I'm good with tell let's do that. Let
- 47:35Speaker 1: me get that now you can wait a whole time
- 47:38Speaker 1: to change what the feeling from what has been and
- 47:42Speaker 1: may have got hardbooken a few times in the past.
- 47:46Speaker 1: Never left a strong as accused too. Don't feel it's
- 47:50Speaker 1: good as accused too before and everything I used to
- 47:54Speaker 1: say than I used to do went right out. Oh more.
- 48:02Speaker 1: That's what you tell it on a value and you
- 48:05Speaker 1: know they've heard it on the bore. Can you say? Yeah, yeah,
- 48:12Speaker 1: ice man like that. Iceman like that. Ice Man likes that.
- 48:15Speaker 1: All right, that's what I'm talking about. Okay, listen, um,
- 48:19Speaker 1: how do you feel about flying up to New York
- 48:22Speaker 1: maybe a couple of weeks so I can put all
- 48:23Speaker 1: you guys together. You like that? Yes? All right? All right,
- 48:27Speaker 1: you're excited about it? Yes, I you Okay, okay, listen, uh.

- 48:39Speaker 1: are gonna work out well once we get you locked
- 48:41Speaker 1: down and that'll be four. So we have four girls
- 48:43Speaker 1: that make up the Lingerais. You know, okay, they're real

- 49:16Speaker 1: on stage in your lageraie. Hold no, wait what you're
- 49:20Speaker 1: talking about. I'm trying to get you to send me

- 49:24Speaker 1: of your You got no damn laserre you know what?
- 49:27Speaker 1: How do he are you gonna call me telling me

- 49:46Speaker 1: like I like, I like what you was doing, and hey,
- 49:48Speaker 1: I'm giving you a shot. You let me tell you something.
- 49:50Speaker 1: You would never be a star. Will never be a star.
- 49:53Speaker 1: You're gonna have all these obstacles in your way. You
- 49:56Speaker 1: excuse me? You who do you think you're talking to?
- 50:00Speaker 1: You need to say a picture in your LARGERAI is
- 50:02Speaker 1: what your neighbor said. You don't be tilling me with this.
- 50:05Speaker 1: You send me a picture of your larger raiate. I
- 50:07Speaker 1: ain't sending you. I want to picture you in your job.
- 50:11Speaker 1: I got a problem with that. You don't go wrong
- 50:14Speaker 1: to be a star. You don't know what to take
- 50:15Speaker 1: to be a star. Yes, I do know, you don't.
- 50:18Speaker 1: If you do that, I'm going to be a start.
- 50:21Speaker 1: How are you gonna do it? If you ain't part
- 50:23Speaker 1: of the larger RAI because I'm not a protographic star idiot.
- 50:26Speaker 1: I got one more thing I need to say to you, though,
- 50:29Speaker 1: What if you listening? What do you want? This is
- 50:33Speaker 1: nephew tied me from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You
- 50:36Speaker 1: just got break by your boyfriend. Oh my god, I'm
- 50:43Speaker 1: so mad. Oh I can't wait till you get home. Oh, Michael,
- 50:54Speaker 1: I have never been prompted in my life. I try
- 50:59Speaker 1: to watch my language. What you do you may need Madge.
- 51:03Speaker 1: I bet you he won't see me and no lingerie
- 51:05Speaker 1: for about four five months since he got game. One
- 51:10Speaker 1: more thing to ask you, baby, tell me this. What
- 51:13Speaker 1: is What is the baddest radio show in the land,
- 51:16Speaker 1: The Steve Harvey Morning Show? Well now you have it.
- 51:24Speaker 1: Iceman Productions got singing them, draws, don la lingerie. Call
- 51:31Speaker 1: it what you want to call it. Women say your
- 51:38Speaker 1: nephew plays way too Wow. Well all right, well hey y'all,
- 51:44Speaker 1: can I finish saying this thought? We can't tell you something.
- 51:48Speaker 1: We have got to vote, y'all. We have got to
- 51:51Speaker 1: register and we've got to vote like we voted for Obama. Yes,
- 51:56Speaker 1: because if you don't, I cannot tell you what this
- 51:59Speaker 1: means to us. He has already shown that he does
- 52:02Speaker 1: not care about the African American community at all. He
- 52:06Speaker 1: has proven that he doesn't care for the Latino community
- 52:09Speaker 1: at all, and he has proven that he don't care
- 52:14Speaker 1: for poor fights at all. McDowell County, West Virginia, which
- 52:18Speaker 1: is where I was born, is one of the poorest counties,
- 52:22Speaker 1: depoorest county in all of West Virginia. You know why
- 52:25Speaker 1: because the coal mining jobs is gone. You know what
- 52:28Speaker 1: Donald Trump did, He promised him he was bringing coal
- 52:31Speaker 1: mining back. You know they one job went back to
- 52:35Speaker 1: McDowell County because he lied, you can't bring back cold mining.
- 52:42Speaker 1: McDowell County voted for Barack Obama, but then he promised
- 52:46Speaker 1: them their jobs back. Of course they're gonna vote for
- 52:49Speaker 1: not one job. He don't care. Man. And I'm telling
- 52:53Speaker 1: you this opening up to these schools or we're gonna
- 52:55Speaker 1: defund you. That's because his child don't have to go
- 52:59Speaker 1: to schools like yo child. You can have the power
- 53:02Speaker 1: to do that anyway to the superintendence. Yeah, okay, well, um, well,
- 53:09Speaker 1: we'll get into it more of course throughout the morning,
- 53:11Speaker 1: but coming up next it is the Strawberry letter for today.
- 53:14Speaker 1: The subject at least my fiance is honest. We'll get
- 53:17Speaker 1: into it right after this. You're listening to show well

- 54:18Speaker 1: this one. All right, Oh, I'll say it, Tommy's out buckle,
- 54:23Speaker 1: hold on tight. Is today's Strawberry Letter. Thank you, my
- 54:27Speaker 1: girl calling Yes you did is always subject. At least
- 54:31Speaker 1: my fiance is honest. All right, Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm
- 54:36Speaker 1: getting married soon and I need your advice. My fiance
- 54:40Speaker 1: and I met less than a year ago and we
- 54:42Speaker 1: quickly fell in love. Within six months, he proposed I
- 54:47Speaker 1: called up my bestie and asked her to be my
- 54:49Speaker 1: maid of honor. My bestie got married last year and
- 54:52Speaker 1: she moved to another state. We've been friends since we
- 54:55Speaker 1: were five, and she was dying to meet my fiance.
- 54:59Speaker 1: Two weeks ago, she came to town and I decided
- 55:01Speaker 1: to throw a small dinner party, and I invited everyone
- 55:05Speaker 1: that's going to be in the wedding. We were all drinking,
- 55:08Speaker 1: talking and having a good time, but I could sense
- 55:11Speaker 1: a weird vibe with my best friend. I pulled her
- 55:14Speaker 1: to the side to see if she was all right,
- 55:16Speaker 1: and she said, she's concerned that I'm moving too fast
- 55:19Speaker 1: and I don't really know my fiance. I promised her
- 55:23Speaker 1: that my fiance and I would get premarital counseling. The
- 55:26Speaker 1: next day, I dropped her off at the airport and
- 55:29Speaker 1: she was still unusually quiet. My heart sank and I
- 55:33Speaker 1: could sense that something was wrong with her. She got
- 55:36Speaker 1: home and she called me. She told me that she
- 55:39Speaker 1: doesn't like my fiance and he made her very uncomfortable,
- 55:44Speaker 1: staring at her and moaning whenever she passed by him.
- 55:47Speaker 1: She said he told her that she was gorgeous, and
- 55:51Speaker 1: he asked her if her hair curls up when it's wet.
- 55:54Speaker 1: She accused him of flirting with her all night. I
- 55:58Speaker 1: was preoccupied with being a good hostess, so I missed
- 56:01Speaker 1: it all. I asked my fiance about it, and he
- 56:04Speaker 1: admitted that my best friend is beautiful and that she's
- 56:07Speaker 1: got a great body. He said as a man, he
- 56:10Speaker 1: complimented her. That was not the response I was looking for,
- 56:14Speaker 1: But I'm relieved that he's such an honest person. My
- 56:17Speaker 1: best he said, she won't be in my wedding, so
- 56:21Speaker 1: this has ruined our friendship. Is there any way for
- 56:24Speaker 1: me to fix this? Wow, that's what you don't need
- 56:29Speaker 1: to fix. Okay, you don't have to fix anything as
- 56:31Speaker 1: far as that's concerned. You do have to fix your
- 56:34Speaker 1: relationship with your best friend, though, and I think you
- 56:37Speaker 1: need to rethink this relationship with your so called man.
- 56:40Speaker 1: With your fiance, you don't even really know him this.
- 56:45Speaker 1: You haven't been with him long enough to really know him.
- 56:47Speaker 1: And your best friend who's been your bestie forever. I'm
- 56:54Speaker 1: really glad that she was brave enough to tell you
- 56:56Speaker 1: about him, because he wouldn't have I don't care how
- 57:00Speaker 1: as you think he is. He wouldn't have told you
- 57:03Speaker 1: if you hadn't busted him out. So so much for
- 57:06Speaker 1: him being honest. He's not honest. He just got caught,
- 57:10Speaker 1: that's all. He did all of this behind your back. Yeah,
- 57:13Speaker 1: you were preoccupied and all of that, you say. And
- 57:16Speaker 1: that's another thing you say. You were preoccupied with the party.
- 57:19Speaker 1: You should have been keeping an eye on your man,
- 57:21Speaker 1: and you know all of that too, because you don't
- 57:25Speaker 1: really know him. I'm rolling my eyes right now. I'm
- 57:28Speaker 1: just rolling my eyes. You should be thanking your best
- 57:31Speaker 1: friend for trying to stop you from marrying this dude.
- 57:35Speaker 1: You got it wrong this time. I think as a friend,
- 57:38Speaker 1: what you need to do is talk to your bestie,
- 57:41Speaker 1: beg her forgiven forgiveness, and you know, put your so
- 57:45Speaker 1: called fiance on ice. I mean, would you really be
- 57:48Speaker 1: able to trust him around any other beautiful women? Because
- 57:51Speaker 1: that's why he said he did it. I don't care
- 57:53Speaker 1: if he admitted it. He got busted. If you didn't
- 57:57Speaker 1: call him out, he wouldn't have admitted that to you.
- 58:00Speaker 1: And how many other of your friends would he be doing,
- 58:02Speaker 1: trying to do or saying things like that behind your back?
- 58:05Speaker 1: You don't know this guy. You don't know him. So
- 58:08Speaker 1: my advice to you is just to leave this alone. Okay,
- 58:12Speaker 1: you need to get to know this guy. And from
- 58:14Speaker 1: what we see right now, it's not good. Steve, Well,
- 58:20Speaker 1: at least my fiance is honest. Well, let's just think
- 58:24Speaker 1: about that. At least he honest. Who I was? All right,
- 58:32Speaker 1: that's what you left with, right, at least he honest.
- 58:37Speaker 1: Wait a minute, so we're gonna overlook everything else and
- 58:42Speaker 1: go with that one statement. At least he honest. I'm
- 58:45Speaker 1: gonna tell you what I think happened. So you call
- 58:48Speaker 1: up your girl. Now, you met this guy less than
- 58:51Speaker 1: a year ago, fell in love six months. He proposed
- 58:56Speaker 1: call your girl up. Been friends since you were five,
- 58:59Speaker 1: asked her to be made on it. A couple of
- 59:01Speaker 1: weeks ago. You invite everybody that's gonna be in the
- 59:03Speaker 1: way out for a dinner. Y'all laughing, drinking, talking, But
- 59:07Speaker 1: you could sense a weird vibe with your best friend. Now.
- 59:10Speaker 1: I don't know if this was in at the beginning,
- 59:13Speaker 1: in the middle, or towards the end, but I think
- 59:16Speaker 1: it was somewhat in the middle. I poorly deside to
- 59:21Speaker 1: see if she was all right. She says, she's concerned
- 59:24Speaker 1: that I'm moving too fast and I don't really know
- 59:26Speaker 1: my fiance, and she is right. I don't care who
- 59:30Speaker 1: you are. You don't know nobody inside of a year.
- 59:32Speaker 1: You don't know nobody inside of a year. I don't
- 59:36Speaker 1: care how much you love you are. You can't know
- 59:39Speaker 1: a person inside of her. Y'all don't care. If y'all
- 59:41Speaker 1: in COVID together, you're not gonna know a person because
- 59:47Speaker 1: you don't know how he acts on a social basis,
- 59:49Speaker 1: even if y'all shacking up together in COVID. So you
- 59:55Speaker 1: have minutes so and then we'll get into what I
- 59:58Speaker 1: think happened. Okay, rehearsal, Oh, okay, all right. We'll have
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: part two of Steve's response coming up at twenty three
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: minutes after the hour today, subject at least my fiance
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: is honest. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: Strawberry Letters, subject at least my fiance is honest? Well,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: you know, when you when you open it with at
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: least he honest, and you're willing to ignore what he's
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: honest about and Shirley's absolutely correct. We're gonna get to
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: that in a second. But you invite, you ask your
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: girl to be your maid of honor, You make Digna's
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: due less than a year. He proposed, You invite everybody
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: in the way and to go to dinner one night.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: Y'all out drinking, talking, having a good time. But you
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: could see something's wrong with your girl, so you pull
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: it to the side see if she was all right.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: She was saying she concerned. You're moving too fast and
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: you don't really know your fiance. So then you promised
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: your fiance from promised her that you and your fiance
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: would get premital counseling. The next day, you dropped off
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: at the airport. She was still unusually quiet. My heart
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: sank and I could sense something was wrong. She got home,
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: called me and here's the deal. Told me she doesn't
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: like my fiance, and he made her very uncomfortable, staring
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: at her and moaning whenever she passed by him. She said,
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: he told her that she was gorgeous, and he asked
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: her if her hair curls up when it when it
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: gets wet. Now you're gonna deprive us of moaning. No, no,
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: I'm fit to show you how this work, and she
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: accused him of flirting with her all night. Now it
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: went deeper than this. This is depart she telling you.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: But see you're thinking that it ain't nothing, But this
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: is what happened though, standing at her mumba louder louder
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: right now, God, I'm look look at this, look at
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: this thing, on this thing, and then moaning whenever she
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: passed by. But he didn't moan on this breath. The
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: cameo was preoccupied. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, oh yeah, she
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: over that hosted right. Oh my goodness, he's doing all
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: this hit. He's doing it. Oh he's slurping. I'm telling you,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: this dude made this woman well on Coco. Look at him.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: I know that's right. God can't I'm married, huh matter.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: The next day she got home, she up said, told
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: him all this said he made, said she was gorgeous.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: Then it asked of her hair curls up when it's wet. Yeah,
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: how tight your hair? Again? Oh? I bet it's tight.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: See see, he went, She's not telling you everything, he said.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: She just trying to give you the gist of it.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: But he was nasty. Yeah, your boy, saying some stuff
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: to her made this girl totally uncomfortable. She accused him
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: of flirting with her all night. This is all night
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: from time he saw her. You picked up at the
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: airport too. He all night, so you was preoccupied. So
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: I asked my fiance about it. He admitted that my
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: best friend is beautiful and she got a great body.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: He said that, yeah, man, young girl, BEAUTIFU for she
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: got a great body. Damn, he said he as a man,
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: he complimented her. Wait, hello, dog, that ain't your job
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: at the dinner party to compliment her best friend? Right,
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: That ain't your job, partner, And if you think it is, no,
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: I mean you know, just as a man, I complimented, No, dog,
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: that ain't your job. Your fiance is your new job.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: Compliment her, make a fuss over her. You're making a
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: fuss over friend. It didn't even fool with your fiance
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: because you was flirting with this other girl all night.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: That was not the response I was looking for. Well
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: that's the one you got, and you know why, because
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: he's stupid and then he and then and then you
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: that's not and but I'm relieved that he's such an
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: honest person. What you looking for the for the for
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: the bright sunny moment in this dark message. Yeah, you're
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: trying to find something to extract from this moment that
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: will make you feel good. Man. At least, I'm relieved
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: that he's such an honest person. Charlie's right. The only
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: reason he being honest is cause he busted because your
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: girls feel the beings on him. After she got home
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: and you went and you didn't just say how you feel,
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: told you told him everything she said he did, and
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: he didn't deny none of it, not none of it.
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: He said that and some mote and the part you're
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: trying to dig overnor. I was just relieved that he's
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: such an honest person. Are you crazy? Yeah? Shit? Oh
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: all right, Steve, thank you. You can post your comments

- 1:06:25Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. So here's
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: the trending news from our DC home station ninety six
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: point three w h u R FM. We love you
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: guys in d C. Yes, it's official now, finally, Daniel Snyder,
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: the owner of NFL's Washington's team, Steve announced yesterday that
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: the team will be retiring the name that they had.
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: You know, it's it started with red. I'll just say
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: that they'll be retiring that name and the logo and
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: they will be working with head coach Ron Rivera on
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: a brand new name and logo design. As we previously
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: told you, Um, the new name for the team at
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: this point is a secret. But among those considered, um,
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: and the one you is the one you suggested, Steve,
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: the Warriors. Remember that. Yeah, we talked about that last
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: week surely, Oh when I was out, Yeah, you talked
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: about the Warriors. Washington Warriors has a good ring to it.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: More suggestions you have any more suggestions. Steve Well, I
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: understand them wanting to change the name Cleveland Indians gonna
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: have to do something too, Yeah, changing though Atlanta Braves, Well,
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: Braves I don't think is offensive. Well, you know the
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: tomahawk thing. They said they're going to shop that. Yeah,
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: they said, stop the fans from doing that. Well, I
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: don't know how it ain't gonna stop them, but you can.
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: I mean, I don't. I don't know that braves is offensive.
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: But if you want to stop the chopping in all
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: like that, I'm cool with all. It ain't take the
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: Indians name. We don't want to damn things what I can't.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: So their record has to do Yeah, a lot to
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: do with it. They ain't come get them in is
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: right off them damn hats they've been took their face
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: off the hat because it was degrading. Yeah, you know,
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: but I understand. I mean, all nationalities got to, oh
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: come up with that. You can't. How would you like
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: it if your head to Niaggre negro, see, we wouldn't
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: like that. Or how about the Washington the Washington white
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: folks now yo, Washington turn white folks. And then this climate,
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: the way it has changed it's actually changing for the better.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: But the problem with our leadership is remember his whole
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: monica was make America great again. He ain't with none
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: of this. Yeah. Native American tribes and other organizations have
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: been calling for the franchise to change their name for
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: a long long time. Well, you know, yeah, but when
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: corporate sponsors say change, when the money talks, oh Mont,
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: we just go with names like they Don't Fail Fee
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: and nobody like you know, like the Buffalo Bastids something
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: like that. He gots to go on that note. Coming
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: up for Steve Harvey Morning Show at the top of
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: the hour right after this. You're listening to Save Harvey
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: Morning Show. Well, Steve, this is a sad story. For
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: the second straight weekend, the city of Chicago experienced a
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: spike and gun violence, which left thirteen people dead and
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: at least fifty others wounded. Police reported at least sixty
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: four people were shot over the weekend, including many teenage victims.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: Last weekend in Chicago, there were seventy nine shootings and
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: fifteen people killed. On Saturday, young people took to this
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: streets to demand the end of gun violence and ask
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: the mayor and other elected officials to act now by
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: directing more resources to black and brown communities on the
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: city south and west side. Chicago Police Superintendent David Brown
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: also said that police alone, that's not enough just to
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: police people. He said, people in these communities need opportunities,
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: they need job opportunities, and they want to participate and
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: need to participate in the American dream and have a future. No,
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: I think that's exactly right, because we have a mentoring
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: program and it works. But also we do realize that
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: when we send these boys back home and we've given
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: them all these new dreams and values and things to
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: attach to, you still want to be able to participate
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: in the American dream. You still want to be able
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: to go somewhere and get in an activity. You want
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: to be able to go somewhere and apply for a job.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: You know, you want to be able to go somewhere
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: and have an opportunity to purchase a house. You know,
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: it's just the simplest of things. But because of redlining
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: things of this. You know, your zip code, they got
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: this thing figured out. Your chances of survival and success
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: decreases from certain zip codes because they know that the
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: groundwork to lay for the foundation of a great people.
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: It's so hard to overcome. But they're not trying to
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: change that. And that's why we got to get some
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: corporation help into these neighborhoods, and then we got to
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: get more black men involved in these neighborhoods because only we,
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: only black men, can slow this thing down. Were the
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: only ones can slow it down. Not gonna stop it.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: That always be no matter where you go, because were
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: the only ones can reach black boys. Okay, because we
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: know what it is to be one and those of
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: us that have crawled out of it, yes and turned
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: ourselves into something. We know the route. We just got
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: to be willing to take some time out of our
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: schedule to go back and teach the route. Now, let
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: me ask you this, Steve. You know how a lot
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: of people say that young because we're older, young people
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: won't listen to us. So what makes your mentoring program
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: and what makes what you say to these young men different?
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: Because that that's not true. That's what they say though. Okay,
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: but but let me dispel that for you. Okay. All
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: of them want to grow up and have a family
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: one day, all of them want to become successful, all
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: of them want that very few of them want to
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: live a life of a gangster if they were given
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: some other options. But when this is all you see
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: and all you know, and all that's presented as your
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: opportunity for money, for family, for closeness, then you then
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: you gravitate to that, and they find out way when
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: it's way too late, that it's not what it is.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: If you pull a young man to the side and
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: say him, a man, look I see something in you.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: I really really do. I think there's greatness in you.
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: If you could be what you want to be without
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: anybody stopping you, what would you be? Ain't none of
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: them gonna would not? None of them will say an inmate, right,
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: Not one of them will say a lifetime criminal or
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: the biggest dope boy in Chicago. Not one. But if
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: you never asked them that and present them with other options,
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: when they go back home, that's what they see, guess
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: what they're gonna be. And so black men are the
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: only people that can solve this in our communities until
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: we admit to that. With the govern him, it's not
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: coming in on the white horse. They never have, they
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: never will. The government is Donald Trump? All right, Well,
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: thanks for answering my question. I appreciate that coming up
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: more of today's trending stories than the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: We'll be back at twenty minutes after the hour right
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: after this. You're listening, all right. So, Houston Rockets star
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: Russell Westbrook now has tested positive for COVID nineteen Steve.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: He posted a statement on social media and said he's quarantined.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: He's feeling well and will join his team, the Rockets,
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: in Orlando when he is feeling better. So I'm not
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: one of your favorite players, man, Yeah. Yeah. If I
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: could have anybody's game in the league, I would want
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: Russell west Westbrooks game. His motor. His motor, man, this
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: dude's motor. It's just the way he plays the game.
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: He plays a game on both ends of the floor.
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: This dude has led the league in triple doubles since
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: he got in the league. Almost he broke. He broke
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: Oscar Robinson's record. This dude leads the league leads to
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: getting in triple doubles. That's points scored, rebounds and assist.
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: This dude plays the game, I mean fearlessly, man. That's
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: my dude. Man. I met his father at a golf tournament.
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: So I was excited to meet his damn day. Russell
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: Westbrook is my dude. And the clothes he'd be wearing,
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: come on, pimp, Oh, he'd be getting at you. Okay,
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: I ain't with the jeans with the tags in it,
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: but I ain't really got tare legs, you know, have
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: my legs out, you know my thout? I get hot?
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: All right, We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: Show and some trending news at thirty three minutes after
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: the hour. Right after this, you're listening Morning Show and
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: trending viral video news. Celebrity family feud This past Sunday, Steve,
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: it was a battle of NFL greats on Celebrity Family
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: Feud as NFL current Stars versus NFL Hall of Famers.
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: That was the show. While playing in the Fast Money round, Uh,
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: take a listen, this is funny. Captain Hook was moonlighting
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: as a handy man. He might replace his hook with
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: what tool? A hammer? Try again? A penis? Tell me
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: the age a kid is too old to sleep with
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: a Take what you said? Well, come on, we can't
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: start this year. We can't come now, We can't go

- 1:16:52Speaker 1: let go, let go. I'm sorry. I swear, I swear,
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: I'm sorry that that just came out. I don't even
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: know where that came from. I was reading the question
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: and then I said what, I'm sorry, Okay, come we
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: start over. I'm sorry your ass going on YouTube though?
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: A man? You know what I said, Bruce smith Man,
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: good buddy. I knew that. I just knew they wasn't
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: gonna keep that ain't the way. Well because when he
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: said a penis and I went to reading into the
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: next question, and then I heard him say it in
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: my head again and I said, what did he say?
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: And I looked at him and he just took off
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: running IRV and then was in the floor. Man, all,
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: let me tell you, man, we had to stop taping
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: for damn to eight minutes that that audience was running
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: in a circle, fowing up. But why did he say that? Why?
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: Because hammer His first answer was he had to try again,
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: right right? And that made sense. Yeah, but you went
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: from hammerton I know. And then I tried to read
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: the next question and then I just heard it again
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: and I looked at Bruce like I couldn't believe it.
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: But boy, let me tell you something. Eight minutes we
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: couldn't take that audience. Right there, they was gone. Celebrity
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: family Feud, Sunday Night, eight seven pm Central. All right,
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: coming up, it's our last break of the day, last
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: break of the day, and you sure do sound like it. Yeah,
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: I'm done. Get just nothing else, and we'll have some
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey at
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: forty nine minutes after. Right after this, you're listening to show.
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: All right, here we are, last break of the day,
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: and listen. Don't forget today there are runoff primary elections
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: in these three states, Maine, Alabama, and please Lord Jesus Texas. Okay,
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: get your mask, get your mask, get your ward of bottles,
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: get your chairs, whatever you need to do to get
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: out and vote today in this primary. If you're not registered,
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: please go to our Forever First Lady Michelle Obama's voter
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: initiative website. It is called when we All Vote dot org.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: When we all vote dot org, all you have to
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: do is take the next step to make your voice heard. Okay,
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: we have to do our parts. We have to do
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: our part, all right, We can't depend on someone else
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: to vote for us. If we're unhappy with the way
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: things are, we have to do it. Yes, get in
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: the habit of vote and listen. Yes, yes, all summer,
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: in the fall, we got work to do. Oh my goodness,
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: Yes we do, Yes, we do all right, Steve, it's
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: on you. You know. I was thinking, I've listened to
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: some of these politicians in these different states who are
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: running for things, and they jump behind Donald Trump, and
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: they saying that we're conservatives. And I'm just curious about that,
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: because I don't have a problem with being a person
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: being a conservative. I don't have a problem with a
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: person being a right wing. I really really don't, because
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: I get it. I really do get it. The symbol,
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: the American symbol, the national bird is an eagle. In
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: order for an eagle to fly properly, an eagle has
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: to have a right wing and a left wing. If
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: you don't have both of the wings, if you had
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: just right wings, it will go in the circle and
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: it will fall. You need them both because you have
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: to have a balance. This world is not set up
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: filled with people just one way. People think different thoughts,
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: people have different ideals, different values, different beliefs, different faiths,
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: and they don't all fit under one umbrella. Now, because
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: you call yourself a conservative doesn't mean that everybody has
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: to think like you. And if you call yourself a liberal,
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: doesn't mean everybody has to think like you. I'm not
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: against the Conservative Party. I'm against anybody who sees something
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: going on unjustly, something that's blatantly not right, and then
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: go along with it simply because it has a certain
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: label attached to it. Something's wrong with that. What's wrong
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: with us? Now? I don't remember the Conservative Party ever
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: being led by anybody like this. I don't remember Conservatives
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: just acting as heartless. I don't remember them being such separatistic, unkind, hateful, ah,
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: non compassionate. I mean, man, you know when when they
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: took all them kids to Latino kids from their mothers
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: and separated them, and and and and they still haven't
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: mentioned have those families been put back together? You know why?
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: Because they haven't. They haven't. They can't even find these people.
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: That was heartless man, to remove the Dhaka Act. That's
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: heartless man. You have no compassion for people who have
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: been living here, working hard, obeying the law, paying taxes
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: in the hopes of the American dream, and you throw
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: it out the window and throw away the Dhaka Act
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: that's caused your conservative You don't want gay rights to
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: have the same rights as other married people of stuff
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: because you're conservative? Can I remind you of something that
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: conservative people happen to be gay people too? Are you
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: kidding me? You're conservative? So you don't want any illegal
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: immigrants coming across the border. Must I remind you that
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: conservative people own farms, restaurants, and construction companies. And do
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: you know that who they hire to save wages? These
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: same people they claim they don't want over here? Who
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: you think hi? These people people who own companies. Conservative
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: people own companies. Who you think work at all? Donald
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: Trump's golf courses, I've played on four of them. I
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: see who over there? Go over there and check every
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: last one of them. See what you come up with.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: Listen to me, man, this is something's wrong here. Conservative
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: people are supposed to have a moral compass. Your leader
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: of your party has no moral compass. He don't know
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: nothing about that Bible he was holding upside down in
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: front of that church. He ran y'all over with horses
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: and stuff, getting y'all out the way so he could
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: go take a photo off. He picked a bible up,
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: says he had one in his hand before that. Show
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: me another picture of Donald Trump coming out of a
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: church and it wasn't at the bush his funeral. Show
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: me any picture of him. He comes into Washington. He
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: says he wants to drain the swamp. Then he turns
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: around and he feels the swamp with all new creatures.
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: Manafort goes to jail. Michael what's his name, Finley, Farley,
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: whatever his name is, Flynn, He's supposed to go to jail.
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: Roger Stone's supposed to go to jail. His personal lawyers
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: in jail. Roger Stone goes to jail, his personal lawyer
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: goes to jail, and Manafort goes to jail. He bought
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: all of them to the White House. How can all
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: your friends be criminals and you ain't one help me
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: for a minute, man, how we are acting like this
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: is normal? And then finally, let me just throw this
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: one out there. The coronavirus would not be this way
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: if he didn't think it was a hoax, if he
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: didn't say, we only got twelve hundred cases and in
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: two weeks, we won't have any Remember that, y'all got
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: to get out and vote, man, because if you do
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: four more years of this, he's gonna show you what
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: he really was about. Because now he won't care at all.
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: Y'all gonna get some stuff passed by this man that's
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: gonna crush some people. We don't need that to happen.
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: We got to vote, and we're gonna show him the
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: black lives really do matter and ain't just assigned in
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: front of Trump towers out there. Lexi, that's my clothes
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: remarks the whole status way to the election. Vote vote, vote,
