- 0:23Speaker 1: Center.
- 0:24Speaker 2: This is obviously a very big show, and it's an
- 0:26Speaker 2: important one because the world is changing before our very eyes.
- 0:30Speaker 3: On Saturday, President Trump launched a major military attack on Iran,
- 0:35Speaker 3: a bombing, bombing from the sky, bombing from naval vessels.
- 0:40Speaker 3: It was done in close coordination with Israel, that likewise
- 0:44Speaker 3: launched a bombing attack. In the opening minutes and hours
- 0:49Speaker 3: of the attack, the Ayatola Kameinee was killed. Other major
- 0:53Speaker 3: leaders of Iran were killed. The bombing is ongoing. You
- 0:57Speaker 3: and I are recording this Sunday afternoon, and of right now,
- 1:01Speaker 3: over nine hundred bombing strikes have been carried out by
- 1:04Speaker 3: the United States. Over one two hundred bombing strikes have
- 1:07Speaker 3: been carried out by israel I. Spent the entire day
- 1:12Speaker 3: on Friday with President Trump. The day before the attack,
- 1:16Speaker 3: we spent much of the time discussing the attack that
- 1:20Speaker 3: was coming. This podcast, we're going to try to explain
- 1:23Speaker 3: exactly what's happening, why President Trump attacked Iran, what is
- 1:29Speaker 3: likely to happen as a result, and what the next
- 1:32Speaker 3: stages are. We're also going to talk about the mass
- 1:34Speaker 3: shooting that occurred at two am Sunday morning in Austin, Texas,
- 1:39Speaker 3: in a bar on Sixth Street, where a gunman murdered
- 1:43Speaker 3: two other people and injured seventeen. That gunman, in turn,
- 1:47Speaker 3: was shot and killed by Austin police early in dish
- 1:52Speaker 3: ye make it appear that this was a terrorist attack.
- 1:54Speaker 3: He was wearing a sweatshirt that said property of Allah.
- 1:57Speaker 3: He was wearing a shirt with the Iranian flat on it.
- 2:00Speaker 3: It is still early. I spoke today with Cash Patel,
- 2:03Speaker 3: the director of the FBI. We're gonna break that down
- 2:06Speaker 3: as well. This is gonna be a podcast where we
- 2:09Speaker 3: try to examine everything you need to know about what
- 2:12Speaker 3: is happening in Iran, how it is going to impact
- 2:15Speaker 3: the United States, and what's coming next.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Yeah, it's really important. I want to take a moment

- 2:24Speaker 2: I've been telling you about my older dog and some
- 2:28Speaker 2: of the symptoms that he was having, slowing down and
- 2:31Speaker 2: itching and having bad breath, losing interest in playtime. That
- 2:36Speaker 2: is just part of the aging process, but it doesn't
- 2:38Speaker 2: have to be. And after just a few weeks of
- 2:40Speaker 2: rough Greens we start to see a real difference. This
- 2:43Speaker 2: stuff is truly amazing, and if you have a dog

- 4:00Speaker 2: Promo code verdict. So, Senator, you mentioned earlier that you
- 4:03Speaker 2: were on the plane with President Trump air Force one.
- 4:06Speaker 2: We're going to get to that and what was discussed
- 4:08Speaker 2: on the plane a moment because a lot of people
- 4:09Speaker 2: listening they're going to want to hear that. But let's
- 4:12Speaker 2: talk about the biggest news now. And you actually were
- 4:14Speaker 2: on Face the Nation earlier today and had a lot
- 4:16Speaker 2: to say about this attack on Iran and how successful
- 4:20Speaker 2: it's been so far. So take a listen to what
- 4:23Speaker 2: Senator Cruise had to say earlier today on Face the Nation.
- 4:26Speaker 4: Senator, just looking at the global environment right now. Saint
- 4:30Speaker 4: Com announced three Americans were killed and five seriously wounded
- 4:34Speaker 4: in this operation. President Trump and President Vice President Vance
- 4:39Speaker 4: campaigned on not getting America involved in new wars. What
- 4:43Speaker 4: do you say to Americans this morning who are asking
- 4:46Speaker 4: why we are in this conflict now?
- 4:50Speaker 3: President Trump's decision to launch this decisive action against Iran
- 4:54Speaker 3: is the single most important decision of his presidency. I
- 4:57Speaker 3: think he laid out powerfully and effectively why he is
- 5:01Speaker 3: taking this action. He's taking this action because the government
- 5:05Speaker 3: of Iran is a profound and malign influence. They have
- 5:10Speaker 3: been the leading state sponsor of terrorism for forty seven years.
- 5:16Speaker 3: They have over that time killed nearly one thousand Americans.
- 5:21Speaker 3: They provide more than ninety percent of the funding for Hamas.
- 5:27Speaker 3: They provide more than ninety percent of the funding for Hesbolah.
- 5:31Speaker 3: The Iranian Ayatola was until yesterday, actively trying to murder
- 5:36Speaker 3: the President of the United States Donald J.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Trump.
- 5:40Speaker 3: I spent the entire day with President Trump on Friday,
- 5:43Speaker 3: right before he launched these attacks. He and I discussed
- 5:46Speaker 3: this at length on Friday. My council to him was
- 5:50Speaker 3: that the Iranian regime has never been weaker, that it
- 5:53Speaker 3: was teetering, and now was the time. My advice was
- 5:58Speaker 3: do not miss this opportunity. I think the President has
- 6:02Speaker 3: acted boldly, He's acted decisively, and Iran no longer being
- 6:08Speaker 3: led by a theocratic, murderous dictator. That makes America much
- 6:17Speaker 3: much safer.
- 6:18Speaker 4: Senator, you are not going to find a lot of
- 6:19Speaker 4: people in any way defending the Supreme Leader, that is
- 6:23Speaker 4: for sure. However, putting Americans in harm way is what
- 6:27Speaker 4: I'm pressing you on.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Here.
- 6:29Speaker 4: Did the President explain to you why he called off
- 6:34Speaker 4: active diplomacy Because at the very same time he was
- 6:38Speaker 4: on that plane, the Vice President of the United States
- 6:40Speaker 4: was talking to the Omani mediator who was trying to
- 6:42Speaker 4: get a deal, and told us that they were close
- 6:44Speaker 4: to one. Why not choose diplomacy.
- 6:48Speaker 3: Because the diplomacy was an abject failure. The Iranians approached
- 6:53Speaker 3: the diplomacy with arrogance, which with absolute hubris. They said
- 6:59Speaker 3: they would not stop enriching. No matter what, they were
- 7:02Speaker 3: going to continue to enrich uranium. They would not discuss
- 7:06Speaker 3: zero enrichment. They claimed a right to enrich uranium in
- 7:11Speaker 3: underground bunkers with no supervision. As President Trump said on
- 7:16Speaker 3: Friday when he was with me in Texas, his line
- 7:19Speaker 3: was zero enrichments, and the Iranians refused to discuss it.
- 7:24Speaker 3: They also refused to discuss their proxies. They refused to
- 7:27Speaker 3: discuss Hamas and Hesbela and the Huthis, and President Trump
- 7:31Speaker 3: understood that the Iranian quote negotiation was just a stall
- 7:36Speaker 3: tactic and that the only response my advice to him,
- 7:40Speaker 3: I said, there's only one deal you should accept, and
- 7:43Speaker 3: it's the deal that you offered Maduro, which is if
- 7:47Speaker 3: you want to leave and flee the country, you can
- 7:49Speaker 3: do so. Anything else is unacceptable, and COMMANI made his choice.
- 7:55Speaker 4: Well, there's disputes there in terms of your characterization of
- 8:00Speaker 4: what was actually on the table and what the administration
- 8:04Speaker 4: had indicated it was willing to accept in terms of
- 8:06Speaker 4: allowing enrichment for medical purposes and the like. But that's
- 8:10Speaker 4: now obviously so margin what I.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Just told you.
- 8:13Speaker 3: What I just told you is almost word for word
- 8:16Speaker 3: what Secretary of State Marco Rubio told me yesterday.
- 8:21Speaker 4: Can you tell us now if you believe that there
- 8:24Speaker 4: was an ongoing nuclear weapons program. One of the top
- 8:28Speaker 4: arms arms control experts out there, David Albright, has written
- 8:32Speaker 4: there should be an immediate priority on rapid response operations
- 8:35Speaker 4: to secure Iran's nuclear stockpiles right now, can you assure
- 8:40Speaker 4: the public that it will be secured and if so,
- 8:43Speaker 4: who is doing it? If there are no Israeli or
- 8:46Speaker 4: US forces on the ground.
- 8:49Speaker 3: So there is no doubt that a year ago Iran
- 8:52Speaker 3: had an active and ongoing nuclear weapons program. We took
- 8:55Speaker 3: out the vast majority of that at the end of
- 8:58Speaker 3: the Twelve Day war.
- 9:00Speaker 4: US intelligence assessment was not made public. If that is
- 9:02Speaker 4: what was brief to you.
- 9:05Speaker 3: We took out We launched targeted bombs at the end
- 9:09Speaker 3: of the Twelve day war, where we dropped the equivalent
- 9:12Speaker 3: of about a third of a nuclear weapon on those
- 9:15Speaker 3: underground facilities, facilities like Forida, which was built into the
- 9:19Speaker 3: base of a mountain. The bunker buster bombs we used.
- 9:22Speaker 3: Israel doesn't have those bombs. No other country has those bombs.
- 9:27Speaker 3: We took them out last year. The Iranians were still
- 9:32Speaker 3: hell bent on rebuilding them. And one of the things
- 9:34Speaker 3: we are doing right now is taking out their missiles,
- 9:37Speaker 3: in particular the Southern missile belt. Right now, Iran is
- 9:41Speaker 3: building roughly one hundred missiles a month. They're actively building
- 9:45Speaker 3: missiles to threaten their neighbors, and they're firing.
- 9:48Speaker 4: Some of them right now at their neighbors.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Yeah, at our allies.
- 9:51Speaker 3: They're illustrating powerfully. They're attacking virtually every Arab neighbor that
- 9:57Speaker 3: surrounds them. They are firing missiles that it's almost like
- 10:01Speaker 3: they want to illustrate to the world just how malign
- 10:03Speaker 3: they are.
- 10:04Speaker 4: But in terms of containing the risk, who's securing the
- 10:07Speaker 4: nuclear material that you say still exists within Iran? Who's
- 10:10Speaker 4: doing that? Look?
- 10:12Speaker 3: Look the quantity of nuclear material. I didn't say one
- 10:15Speaker 3: anything one way or another on that. What I said
- 10:19Speaker 3: is they were building nuclear weapons a year ago and
- 10:21Speaker 3: our bombing took that out. They also had an ongoing
- 10:25Speaker 3: desire to rebuild them. I don't have present day intelligence
- 10:30Speaker 3: on what progress they had made towards rebuilding nuclear weapons
- 10:34Speaker 3: since we bomb their facilities, I have no indication that
- 10:39Speaker 3: they were anywhere close to getting nuclear weapons because our
- 10:42Speaker 3: bombing was devastating, And Margaret, that's one of the reasons
- 10:46Speaker 3: I urged President Trump. Now is the time. You know,
- 10:50Speaker 3: dictatorships survive because they're perceived as invulnerable, and in this instance,
- 10:56Speaker 3: Iran decisively lost the twelve day war that week in
- 10:59Speaker 3: the regime and set up what the president is doing.
- 11:02Speaker 1: Now, Senter.
- 11:04Speaker 2: I found it very interesting just how much she wanted
- 11:07Speaker 2: to say that somehow.
- 11:08Speaker 1: Her sources are better than your sources.
- 11:10Speaker 2: When you were just with the President United States of
- 11:12Speaker 2: America had just talked directly to Marco Rubio.
- 11:15Speaker 1: It was pretty hilarious.
- 11:16Speaker 2: She's like, well, that's not why all the intelligence says,
- 11:18Speaker 2: and you're like, no, like, I just talked to the
- 11:21Speaker 2: people where the intelligence is coming from. If you this why,
- 11:24Speaker 2: I go back and say, you don't hate the media enough.
- 11:26Speaker 2: This is what they do. By the way, we saw
- 11:28Speaker 2: this with headlines today New York Times is a great
- 11:30Speaker 2: example of the propaganda of how they're like still standing
- 11:33Speaker 2: there acting like the Iatola was some sort of like
- 11:36Speaker 2: decent and humane individual that was taken out. This is
- 11:41Speaker 2: the narrative, and you witnessed it right there in that
- 11:42Speaker 2: interview with you.
- 11:44Speaker 3: Well, the New York Times headline says, Ayatola Ali Kameni,
- 11:49Speaker 3: hardline cleric who made ran a regional power, is dead
- 11:54Speaker 3: at eighty six, which is just redics And and I'll
- 12:01Speaker 3: say Mark Alprin had had an amusing take on it.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Uh.
- 12:06Speaker 3: He said that headline was a little bit like a
- 12:08Speaker 3: headline quote Jeffrey Dahmer, hungry Wisconsin man passes away.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Yeah, that's it's not far off.
- 12:17Speaker 3: While technically accurate, it conveys, you know, approval of the conduct.
- 12:27Speaker 3: And and in fact, I want to in fact that
- 12:31Speaker 3: that New York Times headline is as ridiculous as as
- 12:34Speaker 3: the older Washington Post headline. Uh that that that read
- 12:38Speaker 3: a boo Baker al Baghdaddy, austere religious scholar at the
- 12:42Speaker 3: helm of Islamic State, dies at forty eight. I mean,
- 12:47Speaker 3: it's just absurd, but but it but it's actually it's
- 12:52Speaker 3: not the worst. The Washington Post wrote an obituary for
- 12:58Speaker 3: the Ayatola that if Saturday Night Live had done this,
- 13:02Speaker 3: they couldn't have made it more absurd. I'm going to
- 13:04Speaker 3: read you a paragraph from it. With his bushy white
- 13:09Speaker 3: beard an easy smile, Iatola Kameni cut a more avuncular
- 13:15Speaker 3: figure in public than his perpetually scowling but much more
- 13:19Speaker 3: revered mentor, and he was known to be fond of
- 13:22Speaker 3: Persian poetry and classic Western novels, especially Victor Hugo's Les Miserab.
- 13:30Speaker 3: Some Iranians knew Iatola Kameni before he became Supreme Leader
- 13:35Speaker 3: described him as a quote closet moderate. Look, that is sick.
- 13:43Speaker 3: This is the same Iatola who regularly chants death to
- 13:47Speaker 3: America and death to Israel. This is the same Iatola
- 13:51Speaker 3: that set the goal of creating nuclear weapons, I believe,
- 13:55Speaker 3: for the purpose of using those nuclear weapons. This is
- 13:59Speaker 3: the same Iotolia who is responsible for killing nearly one
- 14:03Speaker 3: thousand Americans, for waging war on America relentlessly, for funding
- 14:09Speaker 3: hamas Hesbla. The houthis ninety percent of their funding comes
- 14:14Speaker 3: from Iran. This is the same Iatola. Look. One of
- 14:17Speaker 3: the reasons we went into Venezuela is Iran had a
- 14:20Speaker 3: major beachhead in Venezuela. Maduro allowed Iran in there. Hesbola
- 14:26Speaker 3: had a major beachhead to wage war in Venezuela, to
- 14:32Speaker 3: attack the United States. Look, this evuncular man with a
- 14:38Speaker 3: bushy white beard, as the numbskulls at the Washington Post
- 14:42Speaker 3: put it, until yesterday, was actively trying to murder President
- 14:49Speaker 3: Donald Trump. Had hired hitman, had put out a video,
- 14:53Speaker 3: an animation showing a drone going to mar A Lago
- 14:57Speaker 3: and killing President Trump on the golf course. You know
- 15:02Speaker 3: the phrase for the media that's been used more than
- 15:04Speaker 3: once is useful idiots, and I think sometimes headline writers
- 15:09Speaker 3: decide they haven't given us enough material. They need to
- 15:12Speaker 3: be even more ridiculous, cheering for our enemies.
- 15:15Speaker 2: As Operation Epic Fury intensifies, the world braces for what
- 15:20Speaker 2: comes next, and people of faith pray for freedom and
- 15:24Speaker 2: for God's people to be protected in.
- 15:26Speaker 1: The Holy Land.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Red alert sirens fill the air, sirens that give you
- 15:31Speaker 2: fifteen seconds to reach the nearest bomb shelter. The situation
- 15:36Speaker 2: is serious and the threat is real. In times like this,
- 15:40Speaker 2: freedom and faith aren't just abstract ideas. They are what
- 15:44Speaker 2: we depend on. And the International Fellowship of Christians and
- 15:48Speaker 2: Jews is on the ground preparing large scale distributions of
- 15:52Speaker 2: life saving food, first aid, and emergency essentials for security personnel,
- 15:58Speaker 2: while helping ensure hospital emergency rooms and shelters are stocked
- 16:02Speaker 2: with critical medical supplies. This ad is focused on Israel's
- 16:06Speaker 2: most vulnerable, the sick, the elderly, children and families in
- 16:11Speaker 2: great need. But the Fellowship needs your most generous gift
- 16:14Speaker 2: today to make this work all possible. Now is your
- 16:18Speaker 2: time to stand with Israel's most vulnerable to rush your gift.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Call eight eight eight four eight eight IFCJ that's eight
- 16:26Speaker 2: eight eight four eight eight IFCJ. Or give online at
- 16:31Speaker 2: IFCJ dot org. That's IFCJ dot org. All right, I
- 16:37Speaker 2: got a lot of questions Center, and everybody listening right now,
- 16:39Speaker 2: I know, is gonna want to ask the same one
- 16:41Speaker 2: that I'm gonna ask. You're on Air Force one, You
- 16:44Speaker 2: were in DC, you flew with the President back to Texas.
- 16:48Speaker 2: How much of the conversation on Air Force one was
- 16:51Speaker 2: about this becoming a reality twenty four hours later? Less
- 16:55Speaker 2: than twenty four hours later? You guys either had great
- 16:57Speaker 2: poker faces when you were down there in front of
- 16:59Speaker 2: that ship that we had sees in Venezuela and the
- 17:01Speaker 2: oil and what you were doing on that trip, because
- 17:05Speaker 2: clearly this was in the final moments of the planning
- 17:08Speaker 2: stages or execution, I should say stages of this plan.
- 17:12Speaker 1: What all was discussed on that that you can talk
- 17:13Speaker 1: to us about.
- 17:15Speaker 3: Yeah, So I was on Air Force one with President Trump,
- 17:17Speaker 3: flying from Washington, d C. Down to Texas to Corpus Christy.
- 17:21Speaker 3: I was joined by my colleague, Senator John Cornyn, and
- 17:24Speaker 3: then there were multiple members of Congress that were there. Uh,
- 17:27Speaker 3: And the President came and was talking with us and
- 17:31Speaker 3: asking about Iran, and he went around the room and
- 17:33Speaker 3: he said said, should we strike?
- 17:34Speaker 1: What do you think?
- 17:35Speaker 3: Should we strike? Should we hit them hard? Or should
- 17:38Speaker 3: should we go and and and keep trying to cut
- 17:40Speaker 3: a deal? What do you think? I will tell you
- 17:43Speaker 3: every one of us that was on the plane, it
- 17:45Speaker 3: was unanimous. We said hit them and hit them hard.
- 17:47Speaker 3: That that that was the assessment. And look, Trump often
- 17:50Speaker 3: when he's making decisions and talking to people who he trusts,
- 17:53Speaker 3: he tries to get their their taken there. Yeah, yeah,
- 17:57Speaker 3: he wants a barometer. Is this a good idea? What
- 18:00Speaker 3: the risk? What should we do? So we talked quite
- 18:02Speaker 3: a bit on Air Force one about it, and then
- 18:04Speaker 3: when we landed, the President waved me over to join
- 18:09Speaker 3: him in the Beast, and so he and I drove
- 18:13Speaker 3: from the tarmac to the event. It was probably fifteen
- 18:15Speaker 3: twenty minutes and it was just the two of us
- 18:17Speaker 3: and the Beast. We were the only two, and we
- 18:19Speaker 3: spent almost the entire time talking about Iran further. And
- 18:24Speaker 3: so that was one on one and in that context
- 18:28Speaker 3: I was leaning in even more vigorously than I had
- 18:30Speaker 3: on Air Force One and was saying, listen, this is
- 18:34Speaker 3: a moment in time which we've never had like this before.
- 18:38Speaker 3: This regime is so weak, you know, dictatorships, and this
- 18:44Speaker 3: is true. This is true of the Soviet Union, this
- 18:46Speaker 3: is true of communist China, this is true of Hugo
- 18:49Speaker 3: Chavez and Nicholas Maduro, this is true of the communist
- 18:51Speaker 3: regime in Cuba, and this is true of Iran. Dictatorships
- 18:57Speaker 3: depend upon convincing their citizens there invulnerable, that nothing can
- 19:01Speaker 3: defeat them. That's part of how you keep ninety two
- 19:04Speaker 3: million Iranians subjugated is the feeling that it's hopeless, we
- 19:09Speaker 3: cannot overthrow these tyrants. And understand, the Iatola was a tyrant.
- 19:14Speaker 3: He regularly murdered his own citizens, tortured his own citizens,
- 19:18Speaker 3: stripped them of their freedom. I mean, the abuses were
- 19:21Speaker 3: horrific directed to his own citizens, much less the murder
- 19:25Speaker 3: and terror that he projected outward. And last year when
- 19:30Speaker 3: the twelve Day war happened, you know, it's interesting some
- 19:33Speaker 3: folks in politics behave like everything is is communications, everything
- 19:37Speaker 3: is calms and messaging and spin. There are very real
- 19:41Speaker 3: world effects when you lose a war. There was a
- 19:46Speaker 3: war for twelve days, and Iran utterly and completely got
- 19:51Speaker 3: its ass kicked. And if there's anything worse, if you're
- 19:54Speaker 3: an Islamist dictator, if you're trying to envision a world,
- 19:58Speaker 3: that is worse than losing a war, it's losing a
- 20:02Speaker 3: war to Israel. It was Israel that completely and totally
- 20:07Speaker 3: decimated them, that took out their air defenses, took out
- 20:09Speaker 3: the leadership of the IRGC. And by the way, day
- 20:12Speaker 3: after day the Iatola would appoint a new leader of
- 20:15Speaker 3: the IRGC the next day that guy was dead, that
- 20:17Speaker 3: he'd appoint a new one the next day that guy
- 20:19Speaker 3: was dead. It demonstrated complete and total penetration by the
- 20:25Speaker 3: Masad and by American intelligence of Iran, knowing where everybody
- 20:31Speaker 3: was and that and obviously it culminated with President Trump
- 20:35Speaker 3: launching the bombing run, taking out the underground nuclear facilities.
- 20:39Speaker 3: That when that happened, you and I on this podcast said,
- 20:42Speaker 3: in the wake of that, we predicted this regime is
- 20:46Speaker 3: going to fall, and I said it, they are so weak.
- 20:49Speaker 3: Now the Iranian people rose up, rose up in massive numbers,
- 20:53Speaker 3: over a million Iranians in protests. And by the way,
- 20:57Speaker 3: the response of the Ayatola was to order his soul.
- 21:00Speaker 3: There's just a fire machine guns at them, killing anywhere
- 21:03Speaker 3: between ten thousand and forty thousand protesters. We don't have
- 21:07Speaker 3: I haven't seen really firm estimates. I think it is
- 21:09Speaker 3: at least ten thousand. It could be as high as
- 21:11Speaker 3: forty thousand. But that shows the level of terarity when
- 21:14Speaker 3: you say, just unload and fire into the crowd and
- 21:18Speaker 3: kill as many as you can. That's what they were doing.
- 21:23Speaker 3: President Trump's actions this weekend levels the playing field and
- 21:28Speaker 3: is taken out by the way. It's also an illustration
- 21:31Speaker 3: of exquisite intelligence. The early bombing strike that occurred that
- 21:38Speaker 3: killed Iatola Kamini. The reporting we're getting, and this is
- 21:44Speaker 3: open source. I don't have any classified information on this,
- 21:47Speaker 3: but the public reporting is that there was a meeting
- 21:50Speaker 3: of the Ayatola along with basically as National Security Council,
- 21:55Speaker 3: as top military advisors. And that's the meeting that Israel
- 22:00Speaker 3: druck and and and took him out. And so they
- 22:02Speaker 3: knew exactly where where he was. They knew where his
- 22:04Speaker 3: senior leaders were, that is, and so so when when
- 22:08Speaker 3: I was riding in the beast with the President, I
- 22:10Speaker 3: was urging him this is the moment, and he's like, well,
- 22:13Speaker 3: what do you think of of the negotiations, And I said,
- 22:16Speaker 3: mister President, they're just dragging it out. It's just a
- 22:19Speaker 3: delay tactic. They think they can delay and and and
- 22:22Speaker 3: that you'll let the moment pass and and listen is
- 22:27Speaker 3: their risk. Of course, there's risk having.
- 22:30Speaker 2: There's even more risk if you don't act right. I mean,
- 22:32Speaker 2: that's how you look at this. I mean when people
- 22:34Speaker 2: say I don't I don't like war, you know, I
- 22:35Speaker 2: can't believe you're advocating this. I don't like war either,
- 22:38Speaker 2: but I really don't like a war where Ran starts
- 22:40Speaker 2: at and Iran has a nuclear weapon, and Iran kills
- 22:43Speaker 2: countlessness and people, whether a dirty bomb or Israel or
- 22:46Speaker 2: wherever they decided to do it in the world, or
- 22:48Speaker 2: have one of their proxies. That was the biggest thing
- 22:50Speaker 2: that I don't think people understood about Iran. Iran getting
- 22:53Speaker 2: a nuclear weapon center is not just them having it.
- 22:56Speaker 2: It's that they have these proxies. They could also give
- 22:58Speaker 2: them to and dirty bombs could go. That's a major
- 23:01Speaker 2: concern that a lot of people don't think understood. In
- 23:04Speaker 2: the complexity of Iran, They're not the one that always
- 23:07Speaker 2: has to shoot. They may give the supplies needed someone
- 23:09Speaker 2: else to do it for them.
- 23:11Speaker 3: Well, that's right, and that's one of the real risks
- 23:15Speaker 3: of escalation in the coming days is those proxies Hamas
- 23:18Speaker 3: and HEZBLA and the huthis engaging in acts of violence,
- 23:21Speaker 3: engaging in acts of terrorism and targeting Americans. We have
- 23:24Speaker 3: three American servicemen who have already been killed and listened
- 23:27Speaker 3: military conflict. Tragically, casualties can be part of military conflict.
- 23:33Speaker 3: We also have the shooting that occurred in Austin, Texas,
- 23:37Speaker 3: and it is still early. Our reports are preliminary, but
- 23:44Speaker 3: from the preliminary reports, it certainly appears that this was
- 23:48Speaker 3: terrorism and terrorism directly related to what occurred. So here's
- 23:53Speaker 3: what we know right now. The shooting took place at
- 23:57Speaker 3: one fifty nine am on March first, at Buford's Backyard
- 24:01Speaker 3: Beer Garden, which is on West sixth Street in downtown Austin.
- 24:06Speaker 3: And you and I have both been in an Austin
- 24:09Speaker 3: bar at two in the morning on a Saturday night
- 24:12Speaker 3: many many times. The Austin sixth Street scene is a
- 24:17Speaker 3: lively scene. Or here's what we know so far. Three
- 24:22Speaker 3: individuals are dead, one of whom is the shooter. Fourteen
- 24:26Speaker 3: people were injured and transported to local hospitals. Three of
- 24:31Speaker 3: the injured as of right now, remain in critical condition.
- 24:35Speaker 3: Two weapons were recovered from the scene, a pistol and
- 24:38Speaker 3: a rifle, and evidence from it from the sub suv
- 24:44Speaker 3: and nearby cameras is still being processed. Law enforcements and
- 24:50Speaker 3: FBI agents at the scene has gone to the residence
- 24:55Speaker 3: and two different residences of the individual that was the shooter. Now,
- 25:00Speaker 3: now what's been publicly reported is the shooter is a
- 25:04Speaker 3: man name in Diaga Diagny, who is a fifty three
- 25:10Speaker 3: year old naturalized US citizen born in Senegal and residing
- 25:17Speaker 3: in Flugerville, which is a town just north of Austin.
- 25:20Speaker 3: He came to the United States during the Obama presidency.
- 25:25Speaker 3: Reports indicated that the shooter was armed and he was
- 25:30Speaker 3: wearing a sweater that's with the phrase Property of Allah
- 25:34Speaker 3: across the front of the sweater. He was also reportedly
- 25:38Speaker 3: wearing an undershirt with an Iranian flag on it underneath
- 25:42Speaker 3: that shirt and a Quran was found in the car. Now,
- 25:47Speaker 3: I spoke this afternoon with the Mayor of Austin. I
- 25:50Speaker 3: spoke this afternoon with Cash Betel, the director of the
- 25:54Speaker 3: FBI as of Sunday afternoon, they do not have clear
- 26:00Speaker 3: evidence of motive from so they're right now carrying out
- 26:03Speaker 3: the search warrants on his residence. They're examining his social media,
- 26:07Speaker 3: they're examining phone calls. That that they're putting together the evidence.
- 26:11Speaker 3: That putting together the evidence to to determine what went on,
- 26:15Speaker 3: if he acted alone, what the precise motivation was. That
- 26:19Speaker 3: being said, Uh, given the sweatshirt and shirt he was wearing,
- 26:23Speaker 3: and and given given his origin from Senegal, I think
- 26:26Speaker 3: it is very likely this is terrorism. That that that
- 26:29Speaker 3: that it is not a coincidence. I believe that he's
- 26:33Speaker 3: wearing an Iranian flag while he is opening fire. That
- 26:37Speaker 3: evidence has not conclusively been proven yet, but I expect
- 26:40Speaker 3: that it will be. Interestingly, he did not enter the bar.
- 26:44Speaker 1: Uh.
- 26:45Speaker 3: He opened fire from outside, from from the street and sidewalk,
- 26:48Speaker 3: opened fire and shot into the bar uh and and
- 26:52Speaker 3: three Austin police officers took him out, killed him, shot
- 26:56Speaker 3: him on the street.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Uh.
- 26:58Speaker 3: The mayor told me that the Austin police was there
- 27:01Speaker 3: within a minute. So it was very fast, very fast
- 27:04Speaker 3: response and took him.
- 27:06Speaker 1: Out, Thank goodness, saved a lot of lives, you.
- 27:09Speaker 3: Know, and I'm told the video there's videos that will
- 27:11Speaker 3: be released, show chaos, show people running, and in fact,
- 27:15Speaker 3: some of the people are running actually towards the shooter
- 27:18Speaker 3: because they heard gunshots but did not know where they
- 27:22Speaker 3: were coming from, and so they were running, but accidentally
- 27:25Speaker 3: running the wrong way. I think it is very clear
- 27:29Speaker 3: if law enforcement had not acted quickly, many more people
- 27:33Speaker 3: would have been killed and injured.
- 27:35Speaker 1: But this.
- 27:37Speaker 3: Look from his clothing, it certainly appears this is terrorism.
- 27:41Speaker 3: And tragically, this may not be the last incident of
- 27:45Speaker 3: terrorism that occurs. That's one of the real dangers of escalation,
- 27:49Speaker 3: either from hamas Hezbelo the Who East or from sympathizers
- 27:53Speaker 3: in the United States.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Well, let's go back to the Middle East for a moment.
- 27:57Speaker 2: One of the things that we talk about, you know,
- 28:00Speaker 2: the Iotolin and his team they're there. They're homicidal and
- 28:03Speaker 2: and you could also even say suicidal.
- 28:05Speaker 3: Uh.
- 28:05Speaker 2: And their obsession with killing you know, innocent people in
- 28:09Speaker 2: their own country, uh, going after Americans, going after Israelis
- 28:13Speaker 2: as well. But one of the things that I was
- 28:15Speaker 2: even a little bit shocked by was how quickly they
- 28:17Speaker 2: decided to bring in every other country on the side
- 28:20Speaker 2: of Israel in the US by attacking these other Middle
- 28:23Speaker 2: Eastern nations around them that weren't involved, right, they were,
- 28:26Speaker 2: they were outside. I were you as shocked as I
- 28:29Speaker 2: was that they just decided, all right, like whoever's still
- 28:31Speaker 2: left standing, let's just go after Bahrain, Let's go after Guitar,
- 28:34Speaker 2: let's go after I mean, the list is pretty long.
- 28:36Speaker 2: Now if countries they've attacked, and now they brought them
- 28:38Speaker 2: into the fold. I I mean that that to me
- 28:41Speaker 2: just seems like a suicidal mission on their port.
- 28:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I will admit I was surprised by that. There's
- 28:48Speaker 3: been a lot of public reporting that suggested that other
- 28:51Speaker 3: Middle Eastern nations were discouraging President Trump uh from going
- 28:56Speaker 3: after Iran. I'm a little bit skeptical of that. I
- 29:00Speaker 3: have not recently had those conversations with other Middle Eastern nations,
- 29:04Speaker 3: but I've had many conversations with the Saudis, Yue Bahrain,
- 29:09Speaker 3: and and they have always been very focused on number one,
- 29:14Speaker 3: doing everything necessary to stop Iran from getting a nuclear weapon.
- 29:17Speaker 3: The Saudis have said publicly if Iran ever got a
- 29:20Speaker 3: nuclear weapon, that they would do everything possible to get
- 29:23Speaker 3: a nuke themselves. To defend themselves from Iran. Uh And
- 29:26Speaker 3: so I don't know if it's true or not that
- 29:30Speaker 3: in the recent weeks Saudi Arabia and other Middle Eastern
- 29:34Speaker 3: countries were urging Trump not to attack. But but I
- 29:37Speaker 3: do know that Iran's behavior so they fire, fired missiles
- 29:41Speaker 3: and sent drones and had attacks at almost every single
- 29:45Speaker 3: Arab country all throughout the Middle East. So they've attacked
- 29:47Speaker 3: Saudi Arabia, they've attacked UAE, they've attacked Kuwait, they've attacked Cutter,
- 29:51Speaker 3: they've attacked Bahrain, they've attacked Jordan. And we've seen statements
- 29:56Speaker 3: from many of those other Middle Eastern countries, mostly Arab countries,
- 30:03Speaker 3: expressing condemning, condemning Iran's response. And and you know, in
- 30:10Speaker 3: my view that they're just indiscriminately firing, firing abroad. And
- 30:17Speaker 3: I think their reasoning was that if the United States
- 30:21Speaker 3: and or Israel hit them, that they wanted to make
- 30:23Speaker 3: it as painful as possible for the entirety of the region.
- 30:27Speaker 3: What they have ensured is is that there's basically nobody
- 30:31Speaker 3: standing up and siding with the Iranians. They're demonstrating essentially
- 30:36Speaker 3: they're willing to kill anybody and everybody. I got to say,
- 30:40Speaker 3: that's also a really powerful illustration if that's what they
- 30:43Speaker 3: do now.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Yeah, they have done with a nuclear weapon.
- 30:47Speaker 3: Yeah, can you imagine how much worse if they had
- 30:49Speaker 3: a nuclear weapon. And during the whole go back to
- 30:52Speaker 3: Obama and the debates on Obama's terrible Iran nuclear deal,
- 30:56Speaker 3: I always said, most of the debate rotated around, well,
- 31:02Speaker 3: if they had a nuclear weapon, it would change the
- 31:03Speaker 3: balance of power, it would make them more aggressive, they
- 31:06Speaker 3: would fund more terrorism. And I always said, look, that's
- 31:09Speaker 3: the best case scenario. The best case scenario is a
- 31:12Speaker 3: horrible situation. The worst case is that they would actually
- 31:16Speaker 3: use the nuclear weapon. And everyone operates under an assumption
- 31:19Speaker 3: while having a nuclear weapon doesn't mean you use it.
- 31:23Speaker 3: Listen when the Iotola chance death to Israel and death
- 31:28Speaker 3: to America. I believe him when he calls Israel the
- 31:32Speaker 3: little Satan and America the great Satan. I believe him.
- 31:36Speaker 3: And I think the odds are unacceptably high. I don't
- 31:38Speaker 3: know what they were, but they were unacceptably high that
- 31:41Speaker 3: the Iotola, if he had a nuclear weapon, would detonate it,
- 31:45Speaker 3: maybe in Tel Aviv, or maybe in New York or
- 31:48Speaker 3: Los Angeles, and I don't want to wake up and
- 31:52Speaker 3: discover uh oh, the predictions were wrong because we have
- 31:57Speaker 3: a mushroom cloud and hundreds of thousands, even millions of
- 32:00Speaker 3: Americans being killed the reason and by the way, I've
- 32:04Speaker 3: got to say a lot of the the news reporting
- 32:08Speaker 3: is challenging. Why would Trump do this attack? You heard
- 32:11Speaker 3: Margaret Brennan there say say Trump campaigned on on not
- 32:16Speaker 3: getting in wars. I did after Face the Nation. I
- 32:18Speaker 3: also did State of the Union with Dana Bash, and
- 32:21Speaker 3: Dana Bash asked a question of me. She said, you know,
- 32:24Speaker 3: President Trump campaigned on no more wars. And I in
- 32:30Speaker 3: my response, I said, well, Danna, you actually misquoted what
- 32:34Speaker 3: the president said. What the President said was no more
- 32:37Speaker 3: forever wars.
- 32:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I can in Afghanistan totally, and troops on the ground.
- 32:42Speaker 2: This completely different doctrine, you can tell.
- 32:45Speaker 3: Yeah, And I said, listen, we're not going to see
- 32:48Speaker 3: troops on the ground in Iran. We're not going to
- 32:50Speaker 3: see hundreds of thousands of Americans there for an extended
- 32:52Speaker 3: period of time. I don't think we'll see that at all.
- 32:55Speaker 3: That is very different. And I said, look, they're isolationists
- 32:59Speaker 3: who want want America to withdraw from the world. Donald
- 33:03Speaker 3: Trump has never been an isolationist, and he is acting
- 33:08Speaker 3: to protect America. This is America first. The reason we
- 33:12Speaker 3: are striking Iran right now is because the odds are
- 33:16Speaker 3: unacceptably high. Iran has already killed nearly a thousand Americans
- 33:20Speaker 3: and they have every desire to kill more. As I
- 33:22Speaker 3: told the President driving in the beast, I said, if
- 33:25Speaker 3: the Iyatola could kill the two of us right.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Now, he would.
- 33:29Speaker 3: The only thing that is preventing him is that he's
- 33:31Speaker 3: not able to because he is trying. And so if
- 33:35Speaker 3: we have an opportunity to take out this regime, and look,
- 33:39Speaker 3: my hope is we see a new government in Iran
- 33:43Speaker 3: that wants to be friends with America. That would make
- 33:46Speaker 3: this country massively safer. Removing these psycho paths from power
- 33:53Speaker 3: and replacing them with anything resembling a normal government would
- 33:58Speaker 3: massively improve the safety of every American.
- 34:01Speaker 2: This year marks a critical moment for our country as

- 35:37Speaker 1: Two questions to wrap things up.
- 35:39Speaker 2: Number one, I thought it was really interesting to see
- 35:41Speaker 2: the comparing contrasts of the women standing up for themselves
- 35:45Speaker 2: in Iran on the streets, risking their lives, while women
- 35:48Speaker 2: in America were actually standing up angry at America for
- 35:51Speaker 2: going into Ran. We saw that in New York City,
- 35:53Speaker 2: for example. We saw it in some other college campuses.
- 35:57Speaker 2: The disconnect from reality from some of these leftists is amazing.
- 36:00Speaker 2: I want to get your take on that real quick.
- 36:02Speaker 2: And then also I want to talk about the possible
- 36:04Speaker 2: closing strait of our moves and what that means in
- 36:06Speaker 2: what America's role could be in that as well.
- 36:08Speaker 3: Yeah, so today, Comrade Mandami put out a statement that
- 36:15Speaker 3: I want to read to you. Today's military strikes on Iran,
- 36:19Speaker 3: carried out by the United States and Israel, mark a
- 36:22Speaker 3: catastrophic escalation of an illegal war of aggression, bombing cities,
- 36:26Speaker 3: killing civilians, opening a new theater of war. Americans do
- 36:30Speaker 3: not want this. They do not want another war in
- 36:33Speaker 3: pursuit of regime change. They want relief from the affordability crisis.
- 36:37Speaker 3: They want peace. I am focused on making sure every
- 36:40Speaker 3: New Yorker is safe. I've been in contact with our
- 36:43Speaker 3: Police Commissioner and emergency management officials. We are taking proactive steps,
- 36:48Speaker 3: including increasing coordination across agencies and enhancing patrols of sensitive
- 36:53Speaker 3: locations out of an abundance of conscience caution. Additionally, I
- 36:57Speaker 3: want to speak directly to Iranian New York. You are
- 37:00Speaker 3: part of the fabric of this city. You are our
- 37:02Speaker 3: neighbor's small business owner, students, artist, workers, and community leaders.
- 37:06Speaker 3: You will be safe here. Look, this is Comrade Mondami
- 37:11Speaker 3: cheering for the Ayatola. Yeah, because they are both Jahadists,
- 37:16Speaker 3: and they both want to see the great Satan of America.
- 37:21Speaker 3: They want to see this country fundamentally change and to
- 37:25Speaker 3: become an Islamic caliphate. That was the Iatola's objective. That
- 37:32Speaker 3: what that, sadly, I believe is Comrade Mandami's objective. And
- 37:36Speaker 3: I want to contrast that with the reaction of protesters
- 37:40Speaker 3: Iranians like his line to Iranians, you will be safe here.
- 37:43Speaker 3: The the I know a great many Iranians. Every every
- 37:47Speaker 3: Iranian I know hates the regime is cheering and I
- 37:51Speaker 3: want you to watch in particular, this scene that played
- 37:54Speaker 3: out on the ground in Austin, Texas, and and and
- 37:58Speaker 3: a CBS news reporter who was told, don't cover the
- 38:01Speaker 3: protests celebrating the Iatola being killed. Cover that up, and
- 38:07Speaker 3: this brave reporter didn't do that. Give a listen, give
- 38:09Speaker 3: a watch made on one of the books on I am.
- 38:30Speaker 1: It's incredible there.
- 38:32Speaker 2: And again for people that can't see the video, you
- 38:34Speaker 2: have this Austin CBS reporter. He was handed the phone
- 38:38Speaker 2: from his cameraman and he reads it and he's like,
- 38:40Speaker 2: what does that mean? And the cameraman responds, they don't
- 38:44Speaker 2: want us to focus on this, and this brave local
- 38:47Speaker 2: reporter said, all right, well I am. And now it's
- 38:50Speaker 2: out there on the Internet of him having this moment.
- 38:53Speaker 2: It's sad that you've got to be this brave in
- 38:54Speaker 2: America a local affiliate to report the news, which was
- 38:58Speaker 2: the news that you had people's celebrating and waving American
- 39:02Speaker 2: flags and Iranian flags and standing out for the people
- 39:06Speaker 2: in the innocent people in Iran. And they're like, no, no, no,
- 39:08Speaker 2: we don't want you to focus on that.
- 39:09Speaker 1: At CBS.
- 39:10Speaker 3: Yeah, look, this is happening all all over the country,
- 39:13Speaker 3: all over America. It's happening on the ground, on the
- 39:15Speaker 3: streets of Iran, It's happening around the world. You know.
- 39:18Speaker 3: Kamala Harris today put out a statement quote, Donald Trump
- 39:22Speaker 3: is dragging the United States into a war the American
- 39:25Speaker 3: people do not want. Let me be clear, I am
- 39:28Speaker 3: opposed to a regime change war in Iran, and our
- 39:30Speaker 3: troops are being put in harm's way for the sake
- 39:33Speaker 3: of Trump's war of choice. Now, I will tell you
- 39:35Speaker 3: I responded to her on X and I said, your
- 39:39Speaker 3: administration gave over one hundred billion dollars to the Ayatola
- 39:45Speaker 3: who kept killing Americans. We know you're sad that your
- 39:51Speaker 3: friend isn't with us anymore. Look, the Democrat Party was
- 39:57Speaker 3: all in in support of the Ayatola. Now some some
- 40:00Speaker 3: times they pretended they weren't. But when Joe Biden and
- 40:02Speaker 3: Kamala Harris sent over one hundred billion dollars flowed that
- 40:05Speaker 3: money into the Ayatola, they funded his terror.
- 40:09Speaker 1: Uh.
- 40:09Speaker 3: The the Obama Iran nuclear deal was designed to inevitably
- 40:14Speaker 3: lead to a nuclear Iran to the Ayatola with nuclear weapons.
- 40:18Speaker 3: And and so this is I'll tell you and and
- 40:21Speaker 3: and folks that that deal with with conflict in the
- 40:23Speaker 3: Middle East, and that that deal with foreign policy. UH
- 40:27Speaker 3: frequently refer to Iran as quote the head of the snake.
- 40:31Speaker 3: Why do they call it the head of the snake
- 40:33Speaker 3: because it's it is what is leading and directing and
- 40:36Speaker 3: funding the vast majority of the terrorism you see. Without Iran,
- 40:42Speaker 3: Hamas has no resources. Without Iran, Hesbeal and the Huthis
- 40:45Speaker 3: have no resources. And so what what President Trump is
- 40:49Speaker 3: doing here is is being a strong commander in chief
- 40:52Speaker 3: and making Americans safer.
- 40:55Speaker 2: Final question on this shra of the horror moves and
- 40:57Speaker 2: the reality of what's happening there, give us your your
- 40:59Speaker 2: thoughts and and perspective on that and what you think
- 41:02Speaker 2: can happen moving forward.
- 41:03Speaker 3: So we don't know that there is reporting that the
- 41:07Speaker 3: Iranians may have mine the Straits of Hormuse. So we
- 41:10Speaker 3: don't have an answer to that right now. Right now,
- 41:12Speaker 3: there's not shipping. There are not ships going through the
- 41:15Speaker 3: Straits of Hormus until it is determined whether or not
- 41:18Speaker 3: they have mined it.
- 41:19Speaker 1: To be clear, that's significant.
- 41:21Speaker 2: People that just don't understand how important it is a
- 41:23Speaker 2: significant amount of oil world which probably goes through there.
- 41:27Speaker 3: Yeah, so right now that is shut down. By the way,
- 41:29Speaker 3: right now, civilian air traffic is shut down throughout the
- 41:33Speaker 3: Middle East. You can't get on an airline and fly
- 41:37Speaker 3: into and out of most of the cities in the
- 41:39Speaker 3: Middle East because you've got missiles flying everywhere, and so
- 41:41Speaker 3: and so all of the countries have understandably shut their
- 41:44Speaker 3: airspace down. And so I am confident that we will
- 41:50Speaker 3: have mind sweepers go into the straits of Horm moves
- 41:52Speaker 3: that may be happening now, I don't know, and examine
- 41:55Speaker 3: and determine if their mind's there. But at least right
- 41:57Speaker 3: now you're not seeing ships go through there because these
- 42:00Speaker 3: guys are just crazy enough to have put minds there,
- 42:03Speaker 3: and so no one wants to risk it until it's
- 42:05Speaker 3: determined one way or another whether it's safe.
- 42:09Speaker 2: Yeah, it really is incredible. Well, we're going to keep
- 42:11Speaker 2: you updated on all this all week long. I can
- 42:12Speaker 2: promise you don't miss an episode of verdqu with Ted Creers.
