Dyersville’s new baseball team, the Dreamers, kicked off their inaugural season with a wild home run derby at the brand-new Field of Dreams ballpark—where 18 top college sluggers battled in a fast-paced, nine-inning, team-based showdown, sending homers into the cornfields just like in the movie. Though the team won’t play in the league until summer 2027, the energy is already electric as the Northwoods League All-Star festivities culminate tonight with the All-Star Game—first pitch at 7:05 PM.
