- 2:09Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:12Speaker 1: radio show. I feel it's necessary to explain what I
- 2:16Speaker 1: say in the morning because somebody asked me, what do
- 2:18Speaker 1: you mean by that when you say that in the morning.
- 2:21Speaker 1: When I say huh, it's in response to David Hollister
- 2:26Speaker 1: opening the song by saying, go ahead, big Daddy, go ahead,
- 2:30Speaker 1: I said, uh huh. I show will. Then I say
- 2:34Speaker 1: good morning everybody. Because I was raised at Ray, You're
- 2:37Speaker 1: supposed to speak when you come in the room. I'm
- 2:39Speaker 1: coming in y'all's room, whether it's your bad room, the
- 2:43Speaker 1: room in your house, your car, your office, you know,
- 2:46Speaker 1: wherever you had I come in the room or God speaks,
- 2:49Speaker 1: I say good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice.
- 2:53Speaker 1: And then I got to introduce myself because as a performer,
- 2:57Speaker 1: I always felt my best when I was introduced. It's knowing.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Why would you walk out on stage anybody introduce you?
- 3:03Speaker 1: You know you can't get the round of applause. It's
- 3:06Speaker 1: just it's horrible. So I say, you are listening to
- 3:08Speaker 1: the voice wanting only Steve Harvey. Come on, dig me now.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Now that's old school. I got that, but that's I
- 3:16Speaker 1: was once again, dig me Now? Is I want you
- 3:20Speaker 1: to feel what I'm about to say. That's all I'm saying.
- 3:24Speaker 1: That's not a bragging thing. You know, you're listening to
- 3:28Speaker 1: the voice wanting only Steve Harvey. Come on, dig me now.
- 3:32Speaker 1: I'm just asking you to feel what I'm saying in
- 3:34Speaker 1: the morning because it's part of a promise that I
- 3:36Speaker 1: made to God. See a long time ago, I told God,
- 3:40Speaker 1: if he allowed me to make it, that when I
- 3:43Speaker 1: got there, I would tell everybody I know how I
- 3:46Speaker 1: did it, and I wasn't gonna shortcut it or shady
- 3:50Speaker 1: on it. I said, if you allow me to make it,
- 3:53Speaker 1: if you give me the strength, the courage, the wisdom,
- 3:57Speaker 1: you gave me a gift if you let me apply it,
- 4:00Speaker 1: don't destroy myself in the process. Forgive me for my
- 4:04Speaker 1: sins along the way, Continue to hold and rock me
- 4:08Speaker 1: when I need it. When I make it, I promise
- 4:12Speaker 1: you Lord, when I get there, I will tell everybody
- 4:15Speaker 1: how I made it. Well. This started back in LA
- 4:21Speaker 1: when I got on the radio and I was making
- 4:24Speaker 1: it okay. I was doing okay, but I had to
- 4:28Speaker 1: keep my promise to God. My promise was, if you
- 4:31Speaker 1: allow me to make it, I'll tell everybody how God there.
- 4:36Speaker 1: I have to tell you that every day because if
- 4:40Speaker 1: it was not for that grace and mercy, I wouldn't
- 4:43Speaker 1: even be here able to fulfill my promise, because I've
- 4:46Speaker 1: done enough dirt in my life. Man to not be worthy.
- 4:51Speaker 1: He could have easily walked away from me a long
- 4:54Speaker 1: time ago because I had show walked away from him. See,
- 4:59Speaker 1: and I didn't walk away fro from him once. I
- 5:01Speaker 1: walked away from him a bunch of times. But guess
- 5:04Speaker 1: what He forgave me a bunch of times. I'm a
- 5:08Speaker 1: living example of hundreds of chances. His forgiveness and his
- 5:15Speaker 1: mercy is available for everybody. It's the only reason I
- 5:20Speaker 1: get on this show every day. The only reason I
- 5:22Speaker 1: have the blessings that's coming my way. It's the only
- 5:25Speaker 1: way that the things that keep happening in my life, man,
- 5:28Speaker 1: that I have no explanation for, it is because of
- 5:33Speaker 1: His grace and mercy. See, anytime something good happens in
- 5:37Speaker 1: my life and I can't explain it, that's usually him,
- 5:41Speaker 1: he exhibits to me. Remember, I'm a forgiving god. Man. Remember,
- 5:47Speaker 1: So when you fall, Steve, don't lay down now, don't
- 5:50Speaker 1: you lay down there. Don't you let the devil fool
- 5:52Speaker 1: you that because you'd have made some mistakes that you
- 5:55Speaker 1: ain't that you can't do it because everybody gonna make them.
- 5:59Speaker 1: There's no unperfect, no, not once. So get up, keep moving,
- 6:03Speaker 1: keep pushing, step on what you're laying there for. Your
- 6:09Speaker 1: daddy didn't raise you that way. Look, man, my father
- 6:12Speaker 1: was just about manhood. I'm gonna just tell you. My
- 6:14Speaker 1: daddy never had a conversation with me about church. He
- 6:18Speaker 1: beat me for not going, but you know a couple
- 6:21Speaker 1: of times, but he wasn't about that wasn't his message.
- 6:24Speaker 1: That was my mama's job. My mama taught me about
- 6:27Speaker 1: being saved, about loving the Lord, about giving your life,
- 6:30Speaker 1: about the teachings of Jesus Christ. My mama was a
- 6:33Speaker 1: Sunday school teacher, so I got all of that from her.
- 6:36Speaker 1: My old man ain't had none of that for me.
- 6:38Speaker 1: My old man talked to me about one thing all
- 6:41Speaker 1: day long, hard working manhood, and when you're gonna get
- 6:44Speaker 1: that if you don't get nothing else from me, he
- 6:46Speaker 1: gave that to me, so I got it. See, so,
- 6:49Speaker 1: my father, you say, excuse my language, but you ain't
- 6:52Speaker 1: gonna sit there like a little punk up in here.
- 6:54Speaker 1: You ain't an what you're fin to do. You fin
- 6:56Speaker 1: to get up and go do what you're posted to do. Now,
- 6:58Speaker 1: stop all that wine and like some little punking gonna
- 7:00Speaker 1: get the movie. That's how my father talked to me. Now,
- 7:02Speaker 1: I'm just telling you real. It worked for me, though,
- 7:05Speaker 1: And before you start emailing me, that had nothing to
- 7:08Speaker 1: do with homosexuality at all. It's just that was his
- 7:12Speaker 1: term for a man not acting like a man. That's
- 7:15Speaker 1: all it was. It had. It was not a gay
- 7:17Speaker 1: reference at all. I want you to understand that before
- 7:19Speaker 1: you start emailing me. So my daddy wasn't calling that
- 7:22Speaker 1: was not a sexual reference for him. My father talked
- 7:25Speaker 1: to us. That's what he meant. I knew exactly what
- 7:27Speaker 1: he meant. He couldn't admit he didn't even know nothing
- 7:29Speaker 1: about that. My man clueless when it comes to that,
- 7:31Speaker 1: right there. So when I was getting down and feeling
- 7:36Speaker 1: bad about myself, my old man, he taught me this toughness. Man.
- 7:39Speaker 1: He gave me this grit, this doggedness, this go to
- 7:43Speaker 1: work and work hard. That's why today, when God does
- 7:46Speaker 1: bless me with something, he ain't got to wear about
- 7:49Speaker 1: me not working hard because that's in me. And when
- 7:54Speaker 1: I get tired, I asked that same God for strength
- 7:57Speaker 1: to keep on doing so I can do the blessings
- 8:00Speaker 1: he got for me. So when you ask me how
- 8:03Speaker 1: you gonna do all this, Steve Harvey, I don't know.
- 8:06Speaker 1: I ain't got to figure that out. All I got
- 8:09Speaker 1: to do is show up with the same amount of
- 8:11Speaker 1: faith for being showing up with God handle the rest
- 8:13Speaker 1: of it. See, yeah, hey, le let me tell yourself.
- 8:16Speaker 1: I don't see how you do it. I don't either,
- 8:19Speaker 1: can I can? I get hey man, news flash, Let
- 8:22Speaker 1: me hear. I don't see how you doing all that, Steve.
- 8:24Speaker 1: You're doing this? You doing that? You can I tell
- 8:27Speaker 1: you something. I don't either. I just wake up with
- 8:29Speaker 1: the faith man and trusting that if He gonna bless
- 8:32Speaker 1: me with it, he must be gonna show me a
- 8:34Speaker 1: way how to get it done. See I ain't tripping
- 8:36Speaker 1: on that part. See I. Once you take yourself out
- 8:40Speaker 1: to how to business, you can go on and get
- 8:42Speaker 1: with it. But see if you're gonna trip yourself out
- 8:45Speaker 1: with the how to, you can't think like God can think.
- 8:48Speaker 1: You can't figure like God can figure. So now you're
- 8:50Speaker 1: sitting up in the here, gon Lord, I want this
- 8:52Speaker 1: to have him for me? Then I don't know how
- 8:55Speaker 1: I'm will do all that. Well, guess what You're in
- 8:57Speaker 1: the way now, see you? Now you in the way
- 9:00Speaker 1: because see God ain't ask you to figure out how to?
- 9:03Speaker 1: He said, ask and believe. Then he said faith without
- 9:09Speaker 1: works is dead. That's my solution. That's the concoction that
- 9:13Speaker 1: I'm functioning on. All I got to do is accept
- 9:17Speaker 1: the blessing, keep the faith, be willing to work and
- 9:20Speaker 1: believe God can do anything but fail. Why would God
- 9:25Speaker 1: bring me this far to leave me? Why would he
- 9:30Speaker 1: bring you this far to leave you? So? Why I
- 9:35Speaker 1: get up every morning? I have no choice? I gotta
- 9:39Speaker 1: get up in here the rap. When I'm running late, Man,
- 9:41Speaker 1: I try to ply through here. Sometimes I don't make it. Man,
- 9:44Speaker 1: I got to do a rerun. But I ply through
- 9:46Speaker 1: here because man, Steve, you're gonna run out of something
- 9:48Speaker 1: to say. No, I'm gonna just keep thanking him. Now.
- 9:50Speaker 1: You can't run out of that canyon because you owe
- 9:52Speaker 1: him that. Matter of fact, when I get through talking,
- 9:55Speaker 1: I really ain't thanked him enough. You're listening Morning show
- 10:02Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. It is here to Steve Harvey. Morning Show,
- 10:05Speaker 1: Us upon us another another great day. Listen. Man, I
- 10:11Speaker 1: don't know how you approach it. And this is just
- 10:13Speaker 1: a suggestion, it's all it is. You can do it
- 10:16Speaker 1: anywhere you want to. But if you're having the mornings
- 10:19Speaker 1: where you're waking up on the wrong side of the bed,
- 10:22Speaker 1: and you have some mornings where you wake up your
- 10:24Speaker 1: jest ain't quite yourself. I have a suggestion the moment
- 10:29Speaker 1: you feel that way, if you just start having just
- 10:32Speaker 1: sit on the edge of the bed and just take
- 10:34Speaker 1: a couple of minutes to meditate, you know, before you
- 10:37Speaker 1: get rolling. Just put your feet on the bed floor
- 10:40Speaker 1: and I'll sit on the edge of the bed and
- 10:43Speaker 1: just thank him. Just be grateful for your life, for
- 10:46Speaker 1: your measure of health that you have, for your job,
- 10:49Speaker 1: for the ability to wake up, to the ability to
- 10:52Speaker 1: think in your right mind, the ability to have another
- 10:56Speaker 1: opportunity today. Thank God that you that you still here,
- 11:00Speaker 1: that you that you're vibrant, even if you don't feel vibrant.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Thank Him for being vibrant that allows vibrancy to n
- 11:10Speaker 1: into your bed. Just be grateful and start your day
- 11:13Speaker 1: like that, man, And see what happened to you quick
- 11:15Speaker 1: waking up on the wrong side of the bed, tripping
- 11:17Speaker 1: your own self out. Do something good for yourself. Be thankful.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Huh what you talking about? Come on now, ladies and gentlemen.
- 11:24Speaker 1: The show consists of Shirley Strawberry calling for real Mississippi
- 11:28Speaker 1: Monica Junior. His real name is killed faiths on all
- 11:32Speaker 1: government forms and deph you Tommy, Yeah, oh Junior? What's
- 11:38Speaker 1: on your mind? Man U? Man, you're talking about being
- 11:40Speaker 1: grateful this morning? Man, I hit a milestone, man, and
- 11:43Speaker 1: I didn't even know my feel like this. Man. I
- 11:46Speaker 1: made my last truck payment. I don't I ain't ever
- 11:49Speaker 1: did this before in my life. Man, if my first
- 11:51Speaker 1: time boy. Do you remember when you first paid off
- 11:54Speaker 1: a fit boy? It's just the feeling you're supposed to have. Yeah,
- 12:01Speaker 1: it is, it is, Juli. It's a big moment. It's
- 12:05Speaker 1: a milestone, it's an accomplishment, it's a blessing, it's all
- 12:09Speaker 1: of that. It's seeing it through. Is it is God,
- 12:12Speaker 1: you know, letting you, showing you that all that good
- 12:15Speaker 1: things are possible. Now what you could do to you you?
- 12:17Speaker 1: And you see you take this feeling, and you take
- 12:20Speaker 1: this moment that you're having with your trust ye And
- 12:23Speaker 1: so now you look at your vision board and you
- 12:25Speaker 1: start saying, well, okay, well what's next? Got you know?
- 12:30Speaker 1: Is it a house? Is it moving up in the
- 12:33Speaker 1: job position that I wanted? Is it? Is it? Is
- 12:37Speaker 1: it acquin of family? Is it? Is it having a
- 12:39Speaker 1: better relationship with my children? Is it? Is it? Is
- 12:43Speaker 1: it trying to be a better man? How can I
- 12:45Speaker 1: be a better man? What's on your dream board? And
- 12:48Speaker 1: becoming a better man? What can I do in the
- 12:51Speaker 1: service of other people? What could I do today that
- 12:56Speaker 1: would make somebody else's life better? Once you are putting
- 13:00Speaker 1: those type of accomplishments, it's just a milestone to let
- 13:04Speaker 1: you know what God is capable of Sometimes you need
- 13:08Speaker 1: something like paying a truck off so you can see
- 13:10Speaker 1: hide work, and that's when you elevate. You know, people
- 13:14Speaker 1: tell him I always knew I'd be here. No you didn't, No, no, no,
- 13:18Speaker 1: you didn't. You learn along the way about new levels.
- 13:20Speaker 1: So now you got a chance to put some new
- 13:23Speaker 1: levels in your life. Junior, congratulations paying off your truck.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Hominge and God bless you and move on up to
- 13:29Speaker 1: him bigger, better things. Julian paid out a truck. Who
- 13:36Speaker 1: all right, thank you? That was good. All right? Coming
- 13:38Speaker 1: up at thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll hear
- 13:41Speaker 1: from the nephew as he runs that prank back right
- 13:43Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show. All right, it is
- 13:48Speaker 1: time for the nephew and run that prank back. What
- 13:51Speaker 1: you got for us now barely? I got unorthodox methods

- 14:14Speaker 1: That's good. Hey, Hey, listen, man, we wanted to uh,
- 14:18Speaker 1: being one of the brothers of the church, I wanted
- 14:20Speaker 1: to give you a call. Man. You didn't make it
- 14:21Speaker 1: to day, but you now, well, you know, your wife
- 14:23Speaker 1: stood up to date and uh asked us to keep
- 14:26Speaker 1: y'all and our prayers because y'all are definitely trying to
- 14:29Speaker 1: bring her a new child into the world. And she
- 14:32Speaker 1: let us know that, you know, she's she's being a
- 14:36Speaker 1: little older now forty one, forty two. You know, she
- 14:39Speaker 1: said it takes a little longer to try and conceive
- 14:41Speaker 1: a child than you know in your earlier years. So
- 14:43Speaker 1: we definitely wanted to let you know, man, that we
- 14:45Speaker 1: we got y'all in our prayers. Man. Man, you just
- 14:49Speaker 1: don't know how much we appreciate that. Man. Yeah, we've
- 14:51Speaker 1: been trying, but I know what prayers all things are possible. Yeah. Well,
- 14:55Speaker 1: we definitely want to definitely want to keep you out
- 14:57Speaker 1: of our prayers, man, and hope to you all able
- 15:00Speaker 1: to conceive this child and brain, you know, brain brain
- 15:03Speaker 1: brain bringing news a new child into this world. You
- 15:05Speaker 1: know the book says be fruitful and multiplies. Definitely definitely
- 15:08Speaker 1: Now who is this again, bro? This brother author? Brother
- 15:11Speaker 1: author I don't know if you know me directly, but

- 15:17Speaker 1: thank you not not not not not Bro Robert. What
- 15:20Speaker 1: I want to ask you, man, was have you considered
- 15:23Speaker 1: any any alternatives methods for, as you know, maybe helping
- 15:28Speaker 1: this situation? Uh we've looked at a few Uh what
- 15:32Speaker 1: what what? What are you referring to as an alternative? Well,
- 15:35Speaker 1: I mean I think I have a good uh thing
- 15:39Speaker 1: then that might be able to help this thing speed
- 15:41Speaker 1: up the process, and and and and you guys would
- 15:44Speaker 1: be expecting in no time. Man, Man, we yes levels
- 15:49Speaker 1: for some things like that. What what what what you
- 15:50Speaker 1: got in mind? I mean, uh, well, what I have
- 15:53Speaker 1: is a little little unorthodox, man, But I think if
- 15:57Speaker 1: you allow me to help you on this, man I
- 16:00Speaker 1: ain't that you'll be definitely satisfied. And you know, man,
- 16:03Speaker 1: if nine months now you gotta be at the hospital,
- 16:05Speaker 1: we're looking for you, your baby boy, your paper girl,
- 16:08Speaker 1: you know, playing fire and orthodox. Okay, Uh see what
- 16:13Speaker 1: I have in mind, man, is have you considered maybe
- 16:17Speaker 1: like a Sarah get father clarified, clarified, Sara, I'm thinking
- 16:22Speaker 1: the wrong thing. I don't want I just want to
- 16:24Speaker 1: make ship with On the same page, What do you
- 16:25Speaker 1: mean by Sarah the fuck? Well? What it is man,
- 16:28Speaker 1: is you know you know, of course a Sarah's mother
- 16:31Speaker 1: is someone that will carry a shyld for those that
- 16:35Speaker 1: cannot carry one. You know what I'm saying, right right?
- 16:38Speaker 1: So what what? What? What? I've gone to the doctor
- 16:41Speaker 1: and got myself checked out, man, good physical and everything.
- 16:43Speaker 1: I'm physically sitting everything. And you know, maybe I guess
- 16:47Speaker 1: the complications are coming from uh you as far as
- 16:51Speaker 1: the child not being you know, you're not being able
- 16:52Speaker 1: to conceive right now? No, no, there ain't ain't nothing
- 16:55Speaker 1: wrong with me? Man, Okay, Now what you mean by
- 16:58Speaker 1: you physically fit? What the hell they got to do
- 17:01Speaker 1: with charity? Let's do. What I'm saying is if if
- 17:03Speaker 1: if what you know, if you if you allow me
- 17:06Speaker 1: to come over and and supply my services. I mean,
- 17:10Speaker 1: let's say if you left for a weekend, man, and
- 17:12Speaker 1: I stayed over that by the time you get back. Man, Man,
- 17:14Speaker 1: what the wrong with you is? Just what's going on
- 17:17Speaker 1: at this church? Man? Am I at the road church?
- 17:19Speaker 1: They you you're telling me you try hit me. I
- 17:22Speaker 1: understand you're saying you want to come over and have
- 17:25Speaker 1: sex with my woman. Well, I mean, I mean, don't
- 17:28Speaker 1: don't look at it like that. Don't look at it
- 17:29Speaker 1: like that. Look at it that I'm helping you. What
- 17:31Speaker 1: you're telling me in that redicularly you just sink you though?
- 17:34Speaker 1: What excuse me? Okay, you don't want to come out
- 17:38Speaker 1: and say with my wife? No, no, no, I want
- 17:40Speaker 1: to come over and just apply my services man and
- 17:42Speaker 1: put you guys in a better position that you will
- 17:45Speaker 1: be saving your life. You understand what I'm saying. You
- 17:48Speaker 1: understand what I'm coming from. Now. I don't sound like
- 17:50Speaker 1: you telling me you want to have sex in my life? Man,
- 17:52Speaker 1: what's wrong with you? Hold on? Hold on? No, this
- 17:55Speaker 1: just this brother, awesome man, listen see what I'm what

- 18:07Speaker 1: This thousand down at this church and rind of the
- 18:09Speaker 1: church don't have nothing to do with this. It's me
- 18:12Speaker 1: calling you to leave me when you're coming to me said,
- 18:14Speaker 1: I'm trying to be if you allow me to be
- 18:16Speaker 1: the surrogan father, I have a pregnant about the end
- 18:18Speaker 1: of the week. Man, you got me, I'm coming to

- 20:40Speaker 1: it is. I know what it is. It's straight greatness.
- 20:42Speaker 1: All right, then we'll just move on then if that's
- 20:46Speaker 1: the case coming up next, it is Asked the CLO
- 20:50Speaker 1: with our Chief Love Officer in the building, Steve Harvey,
- 20:53Speaker 1: ready for your love questions. Right after this, you're listening
- 20:57Speaker 1: to the same Harvey Morning Show coming up at the
- 21:01Speaker 1: top of the hour, and entertainment news. It is National
- 21:04Speaker 1: four twenty day, National four twenty day. We'll tell you
- 21:07Speaker 1: all about that late actor Gary Coleman is accused of
- 21:12Speaker 1: sexual harassment. To talk about that as well, and reality
- 21:15Speaker 1: start Jocelyne Hernandez as being sued for twenty five million dollars.
- 21:20Speaker 1: We'll talk about all these stories at the top of
- 21:22Speaker 1: the hour because right now it is time for Ask
- 21:25Speaker 1: the CLO. Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey is here and ready.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Shamika in La says, I'm thirty years old and I
- 21:33Speaker 1: was in jail briefly for not paying child support. I
- 21:36Speaker 1: know it's usually a man thing, but my ex put
- 21:39Speaker 1: me on child support knowing I had no way of
- 21:42Speaker 1: paying it. He's turned my son against me, And how
- 21:45Speaker 1: do I get back into my son's life? That's what
- 21:48Speaker 1: Shimika wants to know. How does she get back into
- 21:50Speaker 1: her sime's life? Well, that is very rare, you're right,
- 21:54Speaker 1: He's usually the other way around. Now, this guy that
- 21:59Speaker 1: has turned his son against his mother, that's that's as
- 22:04Speaker 1: ridiculous as when women turn their children against the husband.
- 22:12Speaker 1: I don't I don't know where people get off thinking
- 22:14Speaker 1: that they can punish the person by not allowing them
- 22:19Speaker 1: into the child's life. When the person who actually gets
- 22:22Speaker 1: punished is the child. It doesn't make any sense. I
- 22:26Speaker 1: don't know anybody that that don't need a mother's love.
- 22:31Speaker 1: I just don't. I just don't know nobody, you know.
- 22:35Speaker 1: And she's such an intricral part of a child's life.
- 22:39Speaker 1: And you know, man, this guy, he obviously knew some
- 22:42Speaker 1: of the legal moves. He got your insinc So here's
- 22:44Speaker 1: what you do. You get out of jail. You have
- 22:48Speaker 1: to make Sometimes you have to make amendments to court,
- 22:51Speaker 1: you know, to prove or say you know what your
- 22:54Speaker 1: real status is. But I think you need to just
- 22:57Speaker 1: try to sit this guy down, talk some sense into
- 23:00Speaker 1: which could be very difficult. Because sometimes it's not just say, look,
- 23:04Speaker 1: I want to be in my son's life. This is
- 23:06Speaker 1: my child now. Something had to happen, though, ma'am, that
- 23:11Speaker 1: you're leaving out for the court to take a child
- 23:14Speaker 1: from the mother, something had to happen. I don't know
- 23:19Speaker 1: if you voluntarily did it, but if you didn't voluntarily
- 23:22Speaker 1: do it because you thought it would be in the
- 23:23Speaker 1: best entrance of your son, something had to happen, You've
- 23:27Speaker 1: got to work on that part of your life. That's
- 23:29Speaker 1: just my suggestion. I don't know all the facts, but
- 23:33Speaker 1: if there's something in your life that needs cleaning up
- 23:36Speaker 1: or something like that, then you need to work on
- 23:38Speaker 1: that aspect of your life too. But try to set
- 23:41Speaker 1: your ex down and have a conversation with him. Good
- 23:45Speaker 1: luck with that, all right, Jabriel and Norfolk says, I'm
- 23:48Speaker 1: married to a man that will not shower in the
- 23:50Speaker 1: evening before bed. He comes home and walks around in
- 23:54Speaker 1: his boxers and a wife beater. I don't want his
- 23:56Speaker 1: behind on our sofa, and he doesn't understand how nasty
- 23:59Speaker 1: he is. What do I do with him? Why did
- 24:03Speaker 1: you marry him? What you didn't notice? Really? He don't
- 24:10Speaker 1: like to shower he's been nasty the night before, saying
- 24:15Speaker 1: you Carlin said he's been nasty. Yeah, this is how
- 24:19Speaker 1: he do now. I don't know if you didn't notice this,
- 24:23Speaker 1: because y'all didn't kneel together before you guys. I don't
- 24:25Speaker 1: know what happened, but yeah, you know, he come here
- 24:29Speaker 1: from work. He don't like the shower. You're worried about
- 24:32Speaker 1: him sitting on the couch, Yeah, behind the bed man.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Come on, I don't know what to tell you, you know,
- 24:42Speaker 1: come on later. That's a nail breaker right there. All right,
- 24:46Speaker 1: m all right, you gotta wash. You just got to
- 24:52Speaker 1: all right? Moving on to u Karan or Koran and
- 24:55Speaker 1: South Billy uh Korn rights. When I first started dating
- 24:59Speaker 1: my boy friend, I let him have a threesome with
- 25:02Speaker 1: me and one of my friends. When we talk about marriage,
- 25:05Speaker 1: he insists that regular threesomes are crucial so he doesn't cheat.
- 25:10Speaker 1: When I get upset about it, he says, he's just playing.
- 25:13Speaker 1: I've been with him for two years. Am I wasting
- 25:16Speaker 1: my time? Well, he's not playing. He gotta have this.
- 25:22Speaker 1: You know you started it. Yeah, you know you allowed it.
- 25:26Speaker 1: You know, y'all y'all kill me starting something in the beginning.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Then you wanted to change. You let a man have
- 25:33Speaker 1: a threesome with you and one of your friends. Now
- 25:36Speaker 1: you want to get mad. He's insisting that that'd be
- 25:39Speaker 1: a part of it, so he don't cheat. Wow, you
- 25:44Speaker 1: getting mad? He'd tell you he just played. Do it
- 25:48Speaker 1: sound like he played? Well, let me ask you a questions.
- 25:50Speaker 1: When y'all was having a threesome, did he look like
- 25:53Speaker 1: he was playing the work? Was he playing work then?
- 25:58Speaker 1: Or was he given his all? Yeah, that's a bit much, y'all. Man,
- 26:06Speaker 1: y'all look listen to me. Ain't ain't nothing wrong with
- 26:09Speaker 1: the traditional way. That's nothing wrong with it. True true
- 26:12Speaker 1: love ain't gonna. Ain't gonna ever go out of style.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Wanting to belong to somebody and somebody to belong to you,
- 26:19Speaker 1: that's not gonna go out of style. And y'all keep
- 26:22Speaker 1: it introducting new introjecting new stuff if you want to,
- 26:25Speaker 1: it's not gonna it's gonna get old. And this happened
- 26:28Speaker 1: when they first started dating, Steve dating dating. Now you
- 26:33Speaker 1: want to get married to the king of that reasons? Three? Yeah, yeah,
- 26:47Speaker 1: right now. If she doesn't, then he's gonna cheat. Okay,
- 26:52Speaker 1: then what your man in faults, keep telling you ahead
- 26:55Speaker 1: of time. He loves them. Listen to me. In a
- 26:59Speaker 1: deck of cards, it ain't but two jokers. That's in
- 27:03Speaker 1: any deck of cards. When you add a third joker,
- 27:07Speaker 1: what game can you play? I don't know, I don't know,
- 27:13Speaker 1: I don't know. But yeah, so when you add that
- 27:16Speaker 1: third person who has normally two in a playing deck,
- 27:21Speaker 1: what game are you trying to play? Trumple joker? You
- 27:27Speaker 1: got big joker, the little joker in the medium joker,
- 27:32Speaker 1: and and and the littlest joker or the biggest joker. Boy,
- 27:37Speaker 1: you know about it here junior joker. Yeah, jokers. Yeah,
- 27:41Speaker 1: there you go. All right. Moving on to Madeleine and Flint,
- 27:45Speaker 1: Madeline says, I'm forty four years old and my husband
- 27:47Speaker 1: is sixty two, and he has the nerve to try
- 27:50Speaker 1: to cheat on me with text messages to women he
- 27:52Speaker 1: works with. I always see the texts and delete them
- 27:56Speaker 1: and usually don't say anything. Is this innocent? Fun? Or
- 28:00Speaker 1: should I be concerned? Now? You should be concerned? He
- 28:03Speaker 1: old and don't know how texts work. That's basically stupid. Yeah,
- 28:09Speaker 1: that's basically what she's saying. Sixty two, he got the
- 28:12Speaker 1: nerdy she you're reading the text. He don't know how
- 28:14Speaker 1: to lock his phone. He ain't got no cold nothing,
- 28:18Speaker 1: he just texting, and then you're erasing it. He don't
- 28:21Speaker 1: know where they're going to eat. Really detected, you be disappeared.

- 29:22Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we have gospel legend. Get ready
- 29:25Speaker 1: for this gospel legend, Bishop Marvin Sapp joining us with
- 29:30Speaker 1: his brand new music. Wow, all right, end listening. Yeah,
- 29:35Speaker 1: that's beautiful. That's beautiful. We love us some, Bishop sap
- 29:39Speaker 1: all right, um, moving on to Happy four twenty. Today
- 29:42Speaker 1: is the day the tens of thousands of Americans around
- 29:45Speaker 1: the country celebrate Mara Juanna all right. April twentieth is
- 29:50Speaker 1: cherished by marijuana smokers around the world as a reason
- 29:54Speaker 1: to smoke with friends and massive crowds each year or
- 29:57Speaker 1: in private in states where it's legal. It's also an
- 30:00Speaker 1: international day for cannabis related protests. So see, if I
- 30:04Speaker 1: gotta ask you, I gotta come to you. Are you
- 30:06Speaker 1: lighting up today? Will you be lighting up today? In
- 30:09Speaker 1: honor of four twenty? I've never lit up a day
- 30:12Speaker 1: in my life. I ain't never had a joint before
- 30:15Speaker 1: day in my life. I ain't knocking it. Do your
- 30:18Speaker 1: thing if it's what you want to do. Hey, I
- 30:20Speaker 1: ain't George. You know, I'll tell you what. If you
- 30:22Speaker 1: light up, I have a cigar with you. But that's
- 30:25Speaker 1: not what I cannot do. It's all to the mental
- 30:29Speaker 1: capacity that I live with. It's already something wrong with me, yes, sir,
- 30:37Speaker 1: and I know it. Last thing I need to do.
- 30:42Speaker 1: It's what you call it, Tommy, an additive. That's the
- 30:45Speaker 1: last thing I need is a damn additive or in
- 30:50Speaker 1: the words of my brother, are configuring. That's the last
- 30:54Speaker 1: thing I need is a configuring. No, you do not.
- 31:00Speaker 1: You're another trouble as it is. You're right, No, I
- 31:02Speaker 1: ain't knocking it man. I mean I've been surprised at
- 31:05Speaker 1: the people I found out who smoke. We stood well,
- 31:10Speaker 1: you mean smoker back in the day or currently corrictly,
- 31:15Speaker 1: I've been thrown off by the little people. You know,
- 31:19Speaker 1: when you when you round people, you you know, respecting
- 31:23Speaker 1: and live with you know you hear you hear old
- 31:27Speaker 1: a term sho, I should need a sack? What happened?
- 31:32Speaker 1: What excuse me? They still feel sex? You need a sack?
- 31:39Speaker 1: They got old terms. I think they got a two
- 31:43Speaker 1: frainger down there some one. All right, we're moving on.
- 31:47Speaker 1: We're moving on. Happy before twenty for those of you
- 31:50Speaker 1: who participate. Moving on to older news. Uh. This incident
- 31:55Speaker 1: allegedly happened back in nineteen eighty seven. Nineteen eighty seven, Okay,
- 32:00Speaker 1: I was here, Yeah, I remember Saturday Night Live actress
- 32:04Speaker 1: Molly Shannon. Yes, well, Molly Shon Shannon is alleging that
- 32:08Speaker 1: actor Gary Coleman, the late actor Gary Coleman sexually harassed
- 32:14Speaker 1: her at the Plaza Hotel back in nineteen eighty seven.
- 32:18Speaker 1: Molly did a radio interview and detailed the event, saying
- 32:21Speaker 1: that she and Gary Coleman shared an agent and after
- 32:24Speaker 1: a meeting, he invited her to his hotel suite. She
- 32:27Speaker 1: said she didn't think much of Coleman's invitation. Shannon explained,
- 32:31Speaker 1: he held my hand. I was like, oh, he's so cute.
- 32:34Speaker 1: He had a suit on, he told me. I reminded
- 32:36Speaker 1: him Kimberly from different strokes. Shannon said that Coleman eventually
- 32:40Speaker 1: asked her to sit on his hotel bed and things
- 32:43Speaker 1: turned down a dark path when Coleman started trying to
- 32:46Speaker 1: kiss her and get on top of her. And I
- 32:48Speaker 1: was like, no, Gary stopped, so I pushed him off.
- 32:51Speaker 1: Then I would get off one bed. Then he would
- 32:54Speaker 1: bounce on the bed jump jump jump and wrap himself
- 32:56Speaker 1: around me, and then I would I would like bling
- 32:59Speaker 1: him off. Then he got on top of me. I
- 33:02Speaker 1: was like, Gary stop. I guess because of his size,
- 33:05Speaker 1: I didn't feel physically threatened, she said. Finally got him
- 33:09Speaker 1: off and I go to the bathroom and he grabs
- 33:12Speaker 1: onto one leg. I kick him off. And then I
- 33:15Speaker 1: go lock myself in the bathroom and then he sticks
- 33:19Speaker 1: his hands under the door and he's like, I can
- 33:21Speaker 1: see you, Shannon continued. The entire ordeal ended after Shannon
- 33:27Speaker 1: sprinted out the room. Shannon says she told their agents
- 33:30Speaker 1: that he should watch Coleman Moore. Of course, we all
- 33:33Speaker 1: know Gary Coleman died back in twenty ten. See now
- 33:37Speaker 1: listen to me, Shirley. We all know that sexual harassment
- 33:40Speaker 1: is wrong on all levels. We've got that. But absolutely
- 33:44Speaker 1: hear what I think happened. She was just slaying his
- 33:47Speaker 1: little lass round at Hotel Roo, jumping on his back.
- 33:52Speaker 1: White girl just took just slung his little last off
- 33:54Speaker 1: there like like being in a fight with an aggressive
- 33:57Speaker 1: ass titty bell. He just in there. You just this
- 34:02Speaker 1: little brown, fairy ass teddy bed. She was just snatching
- 34:06Speaker 1: his ass round. Then he bouncing on the bed. What
- 34:08Speaker 1: grown ass man is busting on the bed, hitting the lads,
- 34:11Speaker 1: bounced on the bed, jumped on the black She snatched
- 34:14Speaker 1: his ass off again. I wasn't really concerned because of
- 34:17Speaker 1: his size. I was handling him, and then when I
- 34:20Speaker 1: tried to run in the bathroom, he wrapped his arms
- 34:23Speaker 1: around my leg. Now I'm dragging him around like I
- 34:26Speaker 1: dragged my grandkids around the house. They do do it, daddy, granddaddy.
- 34:30Speaker 1: I want him, I want the leg walking. I'm walking
- 34:32Speaker 1: with him on my leg. She didn't drug his little
- 34:34Speaker 1: lass in then peeled him off. Hun got in the bathroom.
- 34:37Speaker 1: Now he's so damned little with him little lass hands.
- 34:40Speaker 1: He had stuck his hands under the bathroom though, what
- 34:43Speaker 1: grown ass man can stick his fingers under the door
- 34:47Speaker 1: and wiggle him and threaten you with I can't see you.
- 34:50Speaker 1: Then you then you open the door and spread it
- 34:53Speaker 1: down the hall where his shot ass can't catch you
- 34:55Speaker 1: because he got them little baby ass teddy bad legs.
- 34:59Speaker 1: And then was just horrible. You was in there and
- 35:01Speaker 1: what he got on top of you. That's the part
- 35:04Speaker 1: that you had a little chucky mo do it chucking
- 35:09Speaker 1: the doll. Chuck it and climb for you. But chuck
- 35:13Speaker 1: it without the knife. Though he chuck it without the knife.
- 35:18Speaker 1: Chuck ain't got no knife. You will chuck your head.
- 35:21Speaker 1: And I know he's gone and you probably wasn't supposed
- 35:23Speaker 1: to do that joke, But pray for me. He ain't
- 35:27Speaker 1: through with me yet. I probably shouldn't this is why
- 35:30Speaker 1: you can't light up on what I need to be
- 35:35Speaker 1: lit up for. Literally, I showed you a very picturesque picture.
- 35:42Speaker 1: What has an aggressive ass? Teddy Bear and Chucky without
- 35:47Speaker 1: that knife? All right? Coming up suit on the Little
- 35:53Speaker 1: g I Joe suit. I think we'll agree we all
- 35:57Speaker 1: need the Lord. Well that's good because Bishop Marvin will
- 36:00Speaker 1: join us with its new music right after this. You're listening, Hey, everybody,
- 36:07Speaker 1: we got a very very special guest, as promis this morning.
- 36:10Speaker 1: He's a family member, We've been friends for a long time.
- 36:13Speaker 1: He's a special guest. He's an author radio show host.
- 36:17Speaker 1: Now he's a separate claimed preacher who just happens the same.
- 36:21Speaker 1: He's a senior pass that's chosen Vessel Cathedral in Dallas, Texas.
- 36:26Speaker 1: And after being an award winning gospel singer for over
- 36:28Speaker 1: thirty years, he got more hits in him. He's working
- 36:32Speaker 1: on a new album and we're gonna hear his new
- 36:34Speaker 1: single All in His Hands coming up next. But before
- 36:37Speaker 1: we get to a ladies and gentleman, please welcome to
- 36:40Speaker 1: the show. People that most of you refer to as
- 36:43Speaker 1: Bishop Marvin Sap, but who I have referred to over
- 36:48Speaker 1: the years as my dear friend, marveless Marvin. I'm avid gentleman,
- 36:54Speaker 1: Bishop Marvin Sap. Good morning. I want to everybody. How's
- 37:02Speaker 1: everybody to say? Good man? How you being man? I've
- 37:07Speaker 1: been good man, I've been good, you know, coming through
- 37:09Speaker 1: pandemic and you know, re calibrating, rethinking how you do
- 37:14Speaker 1: ministry and reinventing himself all at the same time. But
- 37:18Speaker 1: it's been fun for me. And I tell people all
- 37:21Speaker 1: the time, you know, the pandemic did me well because
- 37:23Speaker 1: I kind of needed it. I needed a little vacation,
- 37:26Speaker 1: you know, from traveling, you know, being on the plane
- 37:29Speaker 1: four days a week for twenty plus years. So it's
- 37:32Speaker 1: it's pretty cool for me just be able to relax
- 37:34Speaker 1: for a little bit. Wow, that's good man, hey man,
- 37:37Speaker 1: because like you know, I always remember this because like
- 37:40Speaker 1: right now, you're the senior pastor the Chosen Vessels Cathedral
- 37:43Speaker 1: in Dallas, but you're also the pastor at a lighthouse. Yeah, lighthouse,
- 37:50Speaker 1: because that's why I remember you've been about. I didn't
- 37:52Speaker 1: know how long have you been in Dallas. I've been
- 37:55Speaker 1: I've been in the Dallas Fort Worth area now for
- 37:58Speaker 1: almost three years. I you know, you never know how
- 38:01Speaker 1: bad you need change until you make the change. And
- 38:05Speaker 1: I just I realized that I needed I needed it.
- 38:08Speaker 1: I needed a different environment. And I realized also my
- 38:12Speaker 1: church and Grand Rappers needed a different environment as well.
- 38:14Speaker 1: So you know, I retired from that particular ministry and
- 38:20Speaker 1: I installed a wonderful pastor's name is r J. Marshall.
- 38:24Speaker 1: Mats Packer's birthday was yesterday. Shout outs to RJ. And
- 38:27Speaker 1: put him in as the senior pastors. Then and left
- 38:31Speaker 1: with nothing but my Bible and and some clothes and
- 38:36Speaker 1: moved to a city that I've never been to before
- 38:38Speaker 1: and started over fresh. And when I got here, we
- 38:41Speaker 1: had about two hundred and fifty members, believe, and I
- 38:44Speaker 1: people thought I was coming to a mega church. And
- 38:46Speaker 1: we've grown to over two thousand O rolls since I
- 38:49Speaker 1: got there. So it's been great, even through the pandem. Yeah. Wow,
- 38:53Speaker 1: well man, that's that's great news. You know, people, I
- 38:56Speaker 1: think people don't realize for everybody, I don't care if
- 38:58Speaker 1: you a minister or whatever. Sometimes in order to grow
- 39:01Speaker 1: you got to go. Yeah. I found that in my
- 39:04Speaker 1: life many times. But what we're gonna do, y'all when
- 39:07Speaker 1: we come back. We got a new album. It's called
- 39:10Speaker 1: Substance is gonna be released this June. We got a

- 39:55Speaker 1: And the dude has always just been that type of
- 39:58Speaker 1: dude for me, man. And so I really appreciate that

- 40:11Speaker 1: types of anxieties and stresses, and it's been crazy even
- 40:14Speaker 1: for myself. So I said, you don't no matter what's
- 40:17Speaker 1: going on in our lives, We just gotta learn how
- 40:20Speaker 1: to put it all in his hand. And that's what
- 40:21Speaker 1: this is about. All right, let's hear this is all
- 40:27Speaker 1: hearts are broken. I'll fill with tears, some smoking, smoking mind,
- 40:39Speaker 1: all full of fee. Change all that's wrong to right
- 40:50Speaker 1: the table forget all you understanding, and we need helping.
- 41:03Speaker 1: You can help you, no matter. Man all well going crazy?
- 41:16Speaker 1: Ten fine keys, no man looking better, hazy sing. So
- 41:23Speaker 1: we come before you, some freak. We know you can
- 41:29Speaker 1: do it. You can't change all that's wrong, to right
- 41:34Speaker 1: that's wrong. We run it on the table, say that,
- 41:39Speaker 1: say understand we need help and you can't da O.
- 42:03Speaker 1: Can't you do? No question what you can do? Where
- 42:17Speaker 1: you come do opening say the rache we need put
- 42:34Speaker 1: it on, say master age, deliver, put it all. We
- 42:43Speaker 1: put it in your hands. Everything doing that. We kill

- 44:47Speaker 1: uh there's people are feeling Cadillac converters. I've been seeing
- 44:52Speaker 1: told truck drives, told truck drivers cat dog if you would,
- 45:00Speaker 1: Canny man. They didn't blew out the whole electrical system
- 45:03Speaker 1: in the old Hello. Hello, I'm trying. I'm trying. I'm
- 45:06Speaker 1: trying to find Candy. Who is this scanny man? Okay?
- 45:10Speaker 1: You are you the guy with the toe truck? You're
- 45:13Speaker 1: you're the toe truck driver trucking. Okay, hey, man, you
- 45:17Speaker 1: just started my girl's car three days ago and blew
- 45:20Speaker 1: the old electrical system out. Man, I did. Hold on,
- 45:24Speaker 1: hold on, let me get back to my truck. You said,
- 45:26Speaker 1: I did what man, you do jump people's vehicles when
- 45:29Speaker 1: they when they got a stall vehicle, don't you That's
- 45:31Speaker 1: what I do. I jumped vehicles. Yes, okay, so you
- 45:35Speaker 1: actually did my girl's car about three days ago. Man,
- 45:39Speaker 1: you just started her car. But now when you you
- 45:41Speaker 1: over jumped it, it's what you did. Okay. You didn't
- 45:44Speaker 1: blow out the whole electrical system in the whole car,
- 45:47Speaker 1: the dad board, everything is just completely out. And they
- 45:50Speaker 1: talk about this gonna be my fifteen hundred dollars to
- 45:52Speaker 1: get this thing. I'm sorry now what was my name?
- 45:55Speaker 1: Cannot man? But you mud Ceila? Man, you jump started,
- 45:59Speaker 1: you over jump hard car? Well just wait, wait a minute, Candida,
- 46:02Speaker 1: there's no such thing as over jumping a car. You

- 46:08Speaker 1: a car now. I whoever told you that? That's just now?

- 46:18Speaker 1: what you did. Man. You didn't blow out the entire
- 46:21Speaker 1: electrical system, the entire dadgeboard. It's completely dead. The people
- 46:25Speaker 1: at the dealership saying it's gonna take fifteen hundred dollars
- 46:27Speaker 1: to get this thing backed up and run it. Well,

- 46:58Speaker 1: everything is completely dead. You over jumped the car, and
- 47:01Speaker 1: now it's the fifteen hundred dollars. And the reason why
- 47:04Speaker 1: I'm calling you is you should be the person paying
- 47:06Speaker 1: for this. No, no, hell no, no, now that's sure
- 47:10Speaker 1: ain't gonna happen. I'm not gonna pay for something I

- 54:01Speaker 1: it for you here. It is Letta thank you, nephew's subject.
- 54:05Speaker 1: My husband really enjoyed the prom. Just Stephen Shirley. I've
- 54:09Speaker 1: been married for eleven years and I have one daughter
- 54:12Speaker 1: that's fifteen, and my husband and I have an eight
- 54:14Speaker 1: year old. My husband is a great man, and he
- 54:17Speaker 1: stepped up to be a father to my daughter, whose
- 54:19Speaker 1: biological father passed away. My husband is a tutor at
- 54:23Speaker 1: my daughter's school and he volunteers at events as a
- 54:26Speaker 1: makeshift security guard. At the school prom was last weekend,
- 54:30Speaker 1: and my husband volunteered to be a chaperone, so he
- 54:33Speaker 1: got a tux and everything. We allowed our daughter to
- 54:36Speaker 1: go to the prom, but we were nervous. We were
- 54:39Speaker 1: a nervous wreck because she is so young. When my
- 54:42Speaker 1: fine husband left to go to the prom, he was sharp.
- 54:45Speaker 1: It was fun to see my husband so excited about
- 54:48Speaker 1: it because he never went to his prom. I got
- 54:50Speaker 1: a call from one of my sorrows who was working
- 54:53Speaker 1: as a chaperone too, and she hinted that my husband
- 54:57Speaker 1: was doing too much at the prom. Apparently he was
- 55:01Speaker 1: on the dance floor with the cheerleader coach and even
- 55:03Speaker 1: slow danced with her. I let him have his fun,
- 55:07Speaker 1: and I was watching a movie at home. My daughter
- 55:10Speaker 1: observed her curfew and she was home by midnight. My
- 55:14Speaker 1: husband was supposed to be right behind her, but she
- 55:17Speaker 1: said he left the prom around eleven pm. I told
- 55:22Speaker 1: her to watch her brother and I'll be back. I
- 55:25Speaker 1: went to the school and my husband's car was there,
- 55:27Speaker 1: but he wasn't in the gym. I call my husband's
- 55:30Speaker 1: phone and he was out of breath and clearly startled.
- 55:33Speaker 1: I told him I was at the school, and he
- 55:35Speaker 1: said he was on his way home. His car was
- 55:37Speaker 1: no longer in the parking lot, so I left. He
- 55:41Speaker 1: got home an hour later, a bit disheveled, and he
- 55:44Speaker 1: had been drinking. He will not allow me to question
- 55:47Speaker 1: him about it, and that doesn't sit well with me.
- 55:49Speaker 1: Should I call my sorrow for more info? Or let
- 55:52Speaker 1: this go and trust him? Please? Do not let this go.
- 55:57Speaker 1: You deserve some respect, you deserve some answers about what happened.
- 56:00Speaker 1: And you're asking should you trust him? Should you trust
- 56:03Speaker 1: the man who your daughter said left the prom around
- 56:07Speaker 1: eleven pm? The man whose car was at the school
- 56:11Speaker 1: but he was nowhere to be found? Should you trust him?
- 56:14Speaker 1: The man who answered his phone all out of breath
- 56:17Speaker 1: and who was clearly startled when you his wife called.
- 56:20Speaker 1: Should you trust him the man who told you he
- 56:23Speaker 1: was on his way home and didn't get there until
- 56:25Speaker 1: about an hour later, all drunken, disheveled. Trust him. This
- 56:29Speaker 1: man won't even allow you, allow you your words his
- 56:35Speaker 1: wife to ask him questions about that night. Trust him, No,
- 56:39Speaker 1: I say, trust your own instincts. You already said this
- 56:43Speaker 1: doesn't sit well with you. It doesn't sit well because
- 56:46Speaker 1: it doesn't feel right. I know you're thinking that he
- 56:48Speaker 1: and the cheerleader coach did something that night. All the
- 56:51Speaker 1: signs point to it. Just know that when you ask him,
- 56:54Speaker 1: he's gonna lie. He is going to lie. Be ready
- 56:57Speaker 1: for that. That's why he doesn't want you to talk
- 57:00Speaker 1: about it. But so what you gotta You gotta ask
- 57:02Speaker 1: him anyway. You should be able to ask him anything.
- 57:06Speaker 1: Find your voice, use it, say what you feel. Uh.
- 57:10Speaker 1: He's your husband. He's acting guilty. He's acting guilty. All
- 57:13Speaker 1: those things point to guilt. Whatever the case, this needs
- 57:17Speaker 1: to be addressed. It needs to be resolved. Shutting you
- 57:20Speaker 1: down is only making it worse, and it's making him
- 57:24Speaker 1: look worse. He's handling this all the way wrong, which
- 57:27Speaker 1: makes it even harder. For you to trust him ever again,
- 57:30Speaker 1: and you deserve some answer. Steve, Come on, I know
- 57:36Speaker 1: you have a reason for every lie. Oh good, you
- 57:40Speaker 1: know the question you posed really threw me off. You
- 57:45Speaker 1: said he is going to lie? Yeah, yeah, what he
- 57:52Speaker 1: vants to do? If that was ever a time for
- 57:58Speaker 1: a lie, clearly this is it. See, I don't even know.
- 58:05Speaker 1: I don't even know why you aren't here. You know, Sherley,
- 58:08Speaker 1: your comments a spot on for a woman that you
- 58:11Speaker 1: don't want to know. All this be dumb out of
- 58:13Speaker 1: a girl. He gonna lie, duhou, Yes, but he gonna lie.
- 58:22Speaker 1: What what good will the truth do? In this letter?
- 58:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna walk you through this letter. I will show
- 58:35Speaker 1: you in this letter. Look, everybody know what happened, but
- 58:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna show you how to lie. I'm on, I'm
- 58:45Speaker 1: on him. How this story got to go? You've been
- 58:48Speaker 1: married eleven years, you got a daughter and fifteen Your
- 58:51Speaker 1: husband and I got an eight year old together. Husband's
- 58:54Speaker 1: a great man, stepped in and be a father from
- 58:56Speaker 1: my donal laws, her father, her father passed away. You know,
- 59:00Speaker 1: my husband is a tutor at my daughter's school. Now
- 59:04Speaker 1: that's very rare. My husband is a tutor at my
- 59:08Speaker 1: daughter's school. So obviously this man is educated. Smart guy.
- 59:13Speaker 1: You know, I can't be no tutor at the school.
- 59:17Speaker 1: All these kids finn't fail. This is about you. I'm
- 59:21Speaker 1: just saying, so you lucky right there that you got
- 59:25Speaker 1: a man that can tutor kids. Then he volunteers at
- 59:30Speaker 1: event as a makeshift security guard at the flow. This
- 59:34Speaker 1: ain't a public school. I can tell you that right now,
- 59:36Speaker 1: because you can't go in as a makeshift security guard.
- 59:39Speaker 1: And no real inner city public school, not the one
- 59:42Speaker 1: on mar Luke King you asked. Got to go in
- 59:44Speaker 1: here with gun handling, the experience judeo ass whipping, you
- 59:49Speaker 1: got to be you got to really have set of
- 59:51Speaker 1: hands in here because some of these kids will knock
- 59:54Speaker 1: your ass out. So this is not a public school,
- 59:58Speaker 1: This nice little cushion ass private. Will you can volunteer
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: and be a couple of things? Yeah, yeah, you we
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: has a kid at our school. Real security look like security.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: Look your husband ain't it and he'd volunteer to to you.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: Came you can't tu to me in math and the
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: andhoop my ass And you just hang on, Steve, hang on.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: We'll have part two of your your response coming up
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: subject to my husband really enjoyed the problem. We'll get
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening to show,
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter,
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: the subject my husband really enjoyed the problem. Now let's
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: get back into this ridiculous letter. Who has surely posed
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: a question to the woman, You've got to find this
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: stuff out what you do? And then surely full warned
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: the woman that he is going to lie. My responds
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: to that is, of course, why would he not? He
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: has to? Well? What what? This this is the perfect
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: time for same time tell the truth. Now let's walk
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: a Hey what sirley, He should have lied before he
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: shut her down. That's that's the real issue. That's because
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: he because he ain't used to line. Yeah, he volunteered
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: all down at school tutors and all this head and
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: didn't make shift security guard. He ain't good at this.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: We really no player. He just got caught up. Your
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: husband is a two at your daughter school. He volunteers
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: as events or makeshift security guard at the schools. She
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: is a nice, little little little little public private schools go.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: The prom was last weekend. Your husband volunteered to be
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: a chaperone, so he got a tuxt and everything. We
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: allowed our daughter to go to the prom, but we
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: were nervous as wreck, nervous wreck because she was so young.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: When my fine husband left to go to the prom,
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: he was shop now right here, you're fine, you know,
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: you saying he fine? You know, well, yeah, that's that's
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: what jack fast. You know he you know, I mean,
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: you know he could be you know, well, you know what, Well, Tommy,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: thank you. She said it about her husband, right see,
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: but you know, both people can be wrong. Somebody said
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: somebody is fine, you get mad. It was fun to
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: see my husband so excited to pick out about it
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: because he never went to his prom. Got a call
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: from one of my soul roles who was working as
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: a chaperone too. She hinted that my husband was doing
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: too much at the prom. Apparently he was on the
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: dance floor with the chili, the coach and even slow
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: dance with Huck. Yeah, yeah, it got good. Well, you
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: did say he missed the prom. Now, I bet you, child,
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: friend that I bet you. Yeah, he put that tucks
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: on he out there with the chill leading coach. Yeah,
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: you wasn't now, and you know he slowed danced with him.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: I let him have his fun, and I was watching
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: a movie at home. You might have calm about this.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: My daughter observed her curfew and she was home by midnight.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: My husband was supposed to be right behind him, but
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: she said he left the prim round leven. Yeah, I
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: can bet you that the chill leading coach was gone too.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: I told her to watch her brother and I'll be back.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: I went up to the school and my husband's car
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: was there, but he wasn't in the gym. I called
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: my husband's phone and he was out of breath and
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: clearly startled. Now right here, this is the amateur that
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: he is. What the hell did you answer that phone?
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: Because you had the phone on side so you wouldn't
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: disrupt the music at the plump number one, That's why
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: you had that phone on solid. But he gonna answer, hey, babe,
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: Hey baby, what's that what you need? I told him,
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: I'm at the school. I'm up at school. He said, well,
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: I'm on the way home. His car was no longer
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: in the parking lot. I see when you came out
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: the gym. See he saw your car park up, park
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: pull up. They was in a classroom looking at the
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: parking lot. When he saw your car pull up, he
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: started pulling himself together. So when you went into the gym,
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: he lass came down off that second floor, ran round
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: the back of the school. He and his card. Now,
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: so when you said I'm at the school, where are you,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: I'm on my way home. He pulled his car out
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: of that So now you ain't even seeing his car.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: Boy was moving another lie. His card was no longer
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: in the park lot, So I left. He got home
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: an hour later. God dumb. But then he had to
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: go back to finish. See you, what you don't understand
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: is he got back outlet. He told her to wait
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: right here. He drove his card in the parking lot,
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: waited on you to lead, and he hooked back around
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: on the other side of that school, went on back
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: up stairs with the chileaer coach. That what happened him.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: So now he was a bit He got home a
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: hour later. Yeah, he had to wonder why would he
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: get home an hour later? You got to finish. It
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: was unfinished business. He got home an hour later, a
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: bit dishevel and he had been drinking. He will not
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: allow me to question about it, and that doesn't sit
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: well with me. The reason he won't allow you to
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: question him about it because he don't have to lie
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: together yet. Should I call my soul roar for more
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: info or let this go and trust him? So now, Shirley,
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: ask me whatever you want to ask me about the night,
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: and I'm going to tell his dude how this work?
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: Go ahead? Shule anything? Okay, I came to the school.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: I drove up to the school to find you. Um,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: where were you? I was on way home. You weren't
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: in the gym. Your car was outside though, Oh that
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: wasn't my car. Excuse me, that wasn't my car. Maybe
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: that was your car, your car. Maybe that ain't the
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: only foward Day said, But it's the only one with
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: your license plate. Okay, that didn't have my license plate.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: The chemistry teacher got license plate. Damn near Jeff light line.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: These are some weak lives. Well right now, that's all right? Listen.

- 1:07:07Speaker 1: but the Raptors and the seventy six is that is

- 1:07:14Speaker 1: altime of the Raptors one twelve of the ninety seven
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: of the night. They lead the series to nothing. Also,
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: the Masks man tied up with the Jazz one O one,
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: one ten to one oh four. Jalen Brunson dropped forty
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: one points. No Luca Dungeon for the Masks. He stepped
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: up and dropped forty one. This boy was bawling. Also,
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: the Warriors, if you want to see the Harden Globe
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: Triers in a different uniform, it's called the Golden State Warriors.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: Hey a whooping the Nuggets one twenty six to one
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: oh six to nothing, thirty four points off the bench
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: for Steph Curry. Jordan Poole put down twenty nine. And
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: then your boys play Thompson dropped twenty six man, So
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: to night we got the Nets and the Celtics. Now
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: this game, did you see your boy man Kyrie? Irvin
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: Kyrie was just given justice to the whole Celtic fan base.
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: Ye I ain't mad at him. Look, man, people buy
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: these tickets and you think you could just say whatever
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: you these grown me and out here playing. We got
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: buoying and cheering, that's a part of it. But when
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: you verbally inso these these grown answer me and out here. Yeah,
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: I was with Kyrie on that. Kyrie went off, he
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: did and dropped thirty nine. But remember that did you
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: haven't see that clip with the dude saying something to
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: Kevin Durant tomb I think you need to take the
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: game over and get Kevin Durant turned back to him
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: and said, I think you need to blank up. Yeah,
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: I think you need to shut the blank up. Yeah,
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: because you're on the sideline. You don't even know how
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: this game go. You come out here, you can't with
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: nobody on the floor, including the refs. Bucks and Bulls
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: to night. Bucks lead that series one nothing, man, so
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: it's gonna be pretty Yeah. Bulls came home up take
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: it back trying and the Raptors. Nice trial, but they
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: got too many injuries on the Raptors right now. And
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: Joel Ebiebe is playing like a big man who you
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: ain't gonna win it all, Julian. If Joel Embie keep
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: playing like that, man, he's seventy six is But they're nice, man, Yeah,
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: they're nice. Damn Golden State and Golden State. Man, God,
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: I don't know what you're gonna do. Man. You know,
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: I'm really pulling for Phoenix. Man, I really want Chris
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: Paul to get it. But Joel Ebiebe playing But them
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: damn Milwaukee Bucks ain't fitting the let it go. Yeah,
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: Miami looking girls like Jimmy Butler, finna fight somebody. He's
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: like he always want to swing on everybody, even his
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: teammates is scared. All right, Junior, thank you. Coming up
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, we'll have more of
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right. This story is crazy.
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: I mean, listen to this. The South Carolina prisoner has
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: decided to die by firing squad rather than in the
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: electric chair later this month. His name is Richard Bernard Moore.
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: He's fifty seven years old. He spent more than twenty
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: years on death row in South Carolina after he was
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: convicted of killing a convenience store clerk back in nineteen
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: ninety nine. He is the first South Carolina prisoner to
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: have the choice of execution methods, after a law went
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: into effect last year giving inmates the option to face
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: three prison workers with rifles instead of being executed by
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: the electric chair method. In a written statement, More said
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: he didn't concede that either method was legal or constitutional,
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: but he more strongly opposed death by electrocution and only
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: chose the firing squad because he was required to make
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: a choice. All right, you're gonna change his mind by
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: the five squad. Yeah, I think he acted a little.
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: They didn't really bother. They just chose first. They just said, Okay,
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: we gonna move on. We gonna go out there against
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: this wall and just stand up against this wall and wait. Well,
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: he's been waiting for twenty years on death road, more
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: than twenty years. Yeah, I'm gonna file some more appeals.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: I ain't really looking at this dying thing. Donna look
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: like a good choice to me. At all. I don't
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: electrical or getting shot young bad shot and missing, shot
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: me all in the ear and everything. Man, don't get
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: grabbing my ear and everything and shot me. Crossing to man,
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: this ain't this. I'm gonna just get me some more
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: appeals going guy, Just know, I mean, it's you know it.
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: You know we talk about hot inhumane. It is. I'm
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: pretty sure the families are the victims just feeling a
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: bit inhumane too, because whatever he did to get on
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: death road, you got to kill somebody. Run, you got
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: to kill somebody to get on death road. Now you
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: know you murdered somebody and I got you want to live.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: But I bet they did too. Yes. Now, I'm not
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: a I'm not a proponent of the death penalty because
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: I don't think it stops anything. But then at the
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: same time, I understand it. Death penalty. Yeah, you know,
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: it's kind of hard when you in that position, you
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: know what I mean. So, like one, you feel like
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: you want justice to be certain. Well, if I can
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: get to you, you don't have to worry about the case. Yeah,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: then you say that, No, I mean, I'm just saying
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: that's how I feel. Though. If you look, man, you
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: know look, we all got children, you know. Ain't nobody
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: trying to hear this man? You know, and and and
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: I know people get emotional and at that particular moment,
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: I can't promise you nothing. I don't. I don't know
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: how i'd be. You know, I'm gonna be violent though,
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: I do know that, you know. But it's not a
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: it's it's a horrible situation. Yeah, it really is a
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: crazy choice shot. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that that one
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: would be. If I had to pick a third, that's
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: what I would just, you know, put that juice that
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: the electric chair is. That's even an option. That's horrific. Yeah,
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: all right, well, wow, that's very Yeah. They talk about
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: the lesser two evils firing squad or electrocution three three
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: prison guards. I mean about forty five people over there
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: with guards. Let's get this out with. You know. You
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: know the thing about that too, aren't is that there's
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: only one real bullet in there because they don't want
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: the guards to feel a type of way about pulling
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: the tree. So neither one of those who's gonna yeah,
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: there's only one real bullet, and how many people firing
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: three three three prison work because they don't want the
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: crab with rifles. I got a shot at them, won't. Well,
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: let me ask you something though, Wow, hold that one, miss.
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: Do you get to going back to your sale? Exactly?
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: We don't try to God dope my bad he moving
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: I do, sir, sir, mister Harvey. This isn't dodgeball, Sir,
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: sir mister Harvey standing against who want mister Harvey. Thank god,
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: we have got twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have more.
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: You're listening to Harvey Morning Show. Well. Elon Musk is
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: said to be the richest man on the planet, but
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: in a recent Ted Talk interview, he came across the
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: question that ridiculed billionaires about their money, and Must said
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: he isn't using any of his wealth for himself. In fact,
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: he doesn't currently own a home. Now that's shocking, But
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: what's even more surprising is where he says he sleeps
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: at night. Must says he stays in spare bedrooms of
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: his friends. That's what he does. He stays in their
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: spare bedrooms. And this is all over the world. He's
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: the richest man, so he has friends all over the world.
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: And when he's in that part of town or the world.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: He stays at their house in the spare bedroom. Hey,
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: that's where Kanye get that from. Stop all this foolishness
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: with Elon? What all this stuff he'd be talking about?
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: That may be lying all kinds of stuff. Man, Elon
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: Musk got too much stuff going on. I don't care

- 1:15:53Speaker 1: going with that? Well, if you had that kind of
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: money over two hundred and fifty billions, how many houses?
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: It's what you own? You just stay at your own
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: house a billion for each. If Elon wanted to stay
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: at your house, would you let him stay there? No,
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: you can't stay here. I don't like people at my house.

- 1:17:41Speaker 1: the truth? For one month? The truth? All right, you'd
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: rather bungee jump off a cliff than tell your mate
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: the truth for a month. I'm gonna gonna tell the
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: truth for a month. Okay, Hey, I'm jumping my ass.

- 1:18:01Speaker 1: bouncing right back up? A month? Yeah, whole truth. I

- 1:18:26Speaker 1: I just talk about a month. I can't tell a truth.

- 1:18:33Speaker 1: You can tie that bunge of cord to my big

- 1:20:15Speaker 1: to day. God willing will see all them brothers in June. Okay, yeah,
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: my boys from the frat man since nine I've known
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: these castles nineteen seventy four. M two of them I'm
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: known since I was fault. What's crazy, man? Is all
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: my partners that I grew up with that went to college.
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: All of us is qus. Wow, that's crazy, man, that's crazy.
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: All of the dudes I grew up with went to
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: school with three of us. We grew up on the
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: same street one hundred and twelve. All of us is
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: ques players at different times, different schools. All of us
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: is cues and how many of it in the group twelve. Okay,
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: dirty does okay? Interested? Hey, I got some closing remarks
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: I want to share with you all today. I um,
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: I want to talk to you all about your dreams.
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: Dreams are important, man, Dreams are the most important thing.
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: Dreams are bigger than your education. I said this one
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: time out of school, and the principle of the school
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: years ago asked me to stop speaking, pull me on stage,
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: wouldn't wouldn't even let me finish? And then just what
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: what's the word reprimanded? Or talk to me? I say,
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: don't you ever stand in a financial institution and or
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: children that something is bigger than their education. Nothing is
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: bigger than education, I said, sir. I'm sorry, but there
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: is something bigger than your education. I said, your dreams
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: and visions. The Bible says a man without a dream
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: or visions your parish. And don't never mention if you
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: don't have education your parish. Matter of fact, I ain't
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: never seen education in the Bible. Bro. I'm sorry. Well,
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: that's not what we're pushing here, I said, Bro, if
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: you had listened to me, I'm actually trying to help you. See.
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: One of the things I've discovered about the school system
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: is if the school system would implement a dream building program,
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: if they would twice a month or once a month,
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: let kids sit in the room and do nothing but
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: talk about their dreams, the hopes that aspirations. See. What
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: you don't understand is those dreams will help you educate
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: those children's because a lot of times those dreams will
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: spur you want to get an education. I'm telling you, man.
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: If a little boy sitting there thinking, man, I want
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: to fly airplane one day, do you know how much
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: easier it is to sell him science and math if
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: their objective is to one day fly that airplane, and
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: it starts making sense to him. But if you never
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: ask these children what they dream of, what their aspirations are,
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: what's in that wildest imagination, you lose a lot of kids, man,
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: because once a kid don't have nothing to aim for,
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: no dream or no vision, they perish. And if all
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: you can see it's what's in your surrounding area, your environment, man,
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: you get stuck in that environment. Man. It's such a
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: blessing when you see people rise above their environment. I
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: mean a success stories all over the world from cats
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: and women, boys and girls that come out the hood
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: and turn themselves into something. All of us on this
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: show as a product of that. But you gotta let
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: a kid be able to see something else other than
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: their environment. That's why the dreams are so important. Now,
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: let me talk to you about your dreams for a second.
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: Listen to me. This is what I've learned. When God
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: gives you a dream, the dream is going to always
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: be tested. Are you listening to me? Whenever God gives
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: you a dream, the dream is always going to be tested.
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: The pressure that's in your life right now, the pressure
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: that you are under in your life right now, has
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: a purpose, and it is simple. That pressure is not
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: crushing you, folks. That pressure is pushing what's on the
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: inside of you out. It is requiring the best of you.
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: It is showing you what you're made of. The pressure
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: that you're experiencing in your life has a purpose. It
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: is not crushing you. It is pressing and pushing what's
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: on the inside of you out. You don't know who
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: you really are till you get tested. You don't know
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: what you really made up till you've been pressurized. You've
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: got to go through the test to get to the dream.
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: Every dream you have, you got to go through it
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: to get to it. You can't just wake up in
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: your dreams its fulfield, y'all. You have to go through
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: it to get to it. All of your dreams are
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: going to be tested. But the pressure that you're feeling
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: right now, it has a purpose, And the purpose is
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: not to crush you. It is to push what's on
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: the inside of you out. God is merely allowing you
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: to see what you are made of. That's what your
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: dream is about. Don't give up on your dreams, don't
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: you just cause you under some pressure right now, because
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: remember that pressure has a purpose. Those are my clothing remarks.
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: I hope you got something out of it. If you didn't,
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: don't worry, God willing would be back to mom. Maybe
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: we'll have something for you then. All right, Hey, here's
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: the main thing, though, talk to God today. He'd love
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: to hear from you. Really. For all Steve Harvey contests
