- 1:42Speaker 1: Turn You probably got to turn the mouth, turn out
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water the money.
- 1:49Speaker 4: Look, come.
- 1:58Speaker 7: Come on, you'll think that, Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 7: Good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice. Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 7: dig me now.
- 2:07Speaker 2: One and only.
- 2:08Speaker 7: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man got a radio
- 2:13Speaker 7: show because God is in a blessing business. I just
- 2:16Speaker 7: happen to be a recipient. I just happened to got
- 2:20Speaker 7: a couple of things right, and man, his grace and
- 2:27Speaker 7: mercy carries you the rest of the way. All you
- 2:29Speaker 7: got to do is get a couple of things right,
- 2:33Speaker 7: and then his grace and his mercy will take over
- 2:36Speaker 7: his favor, his love of you. It's already evident. I mean,
- 2:41Speaker 7: you know, because so many times we go along without
- 2:44Speaker 7: even acknowledging him or conferring with him in our decisions,
- 2:48Speaker 7: and we look up when we find ourselves in a predicament,
- 2:51Speaker 7: and he always comes to the rescue. He always manages
- 2:56Speaker 7: to show up. He's never too late, he's never one
- 3:00Speaker 7: minute too late. And so in light of this today
- 3:05Speaker 7: I wanted to talk to you about something. It's another
- 3:10Speaker 7: principle of success that I'd like to share with everybody
- 3:15Speaker 7: this morning. And once again, these are not things that
- 3:18Speaker 7: you don't know or you've never heard before. These are
- 3:21Speaker 7: just reminders along the way. And one of the things
- 3:26Speaker 7: you have to be conscious of is don't be afraid
- 3:28Speaker 7: to change. Don't be afraid to change because change is
- 3:33Speaker 7: coming anyway. See, I have a theory, don't be afraid
- 3:38Speaker 7: to change because change is coming anyway. You know, everything changes,
- 3:43Speaker 7: nothing remains the same nothing, and change is inevitable. Now,
- 3:49Speaker 7: you could participate in the change, or you can react
- 3:54Speaker 7: to the change. Are you following me. You can participate
- 3:59Speaker 7: in the change or you can react to the change.
- 4:04Speaker 7: But don't be afraid to change because change is coming anyway. Now,
- 4:09Speaker 7: what I mean by that is this, in participating in
- 4:13Speaker 7: the change or reacting in the change, there is a difference. See,
- 4:19Speaker 7: if you react to the change, that means the change
- 4:23Speaker 7: has occurred, and now you have to make the necessary
- 4:26Speaker 7: adjustments to the change. Example, the boss walks in, You
- 4:31Speaker 7: think your job is good. The boss walks in and
- 4:34Speaker 7: hands you a pink slip. That right there, that's a change.
- 4:40Speaker 7: Now you didn't participate in this change because you didn't
- 4:42Speaker 7: ask for the pink slip. But now you got to
- 4:44Speaker 7: react to the pink slip. Whenever you have to react
- 4:49Speaker 7: to the change, it's an adjustment period. It almost throws
- 4:55Speaker 7: you off. So change is going to come. It always does.
- 5:03Speaker 7: You could participate or you can react. Or let's say
- 5:09Speaker 7: your boss comes in and hands you the pink slip
- 5:12Speaker 7: and you said, you know what I've been preparing for
- 5:16Speaker 7: this day.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Always knew nothing.
- 5:19Speaker 7: Last forever, I've been working on the sideline on the
- 5:23Speaker 7: business idea I had, and I had or I had
- 5:26Speaker 7: several other applications in around town.
- 5:29Speaker 2: I was just holding off to see what was going going.
- 5:32Speaker 7: So when they hand you the pink slip, the transition,
- 5:35Speaker 7: the adjustment you make is a lot more smooth transition
- 5:38Speaker 7: because now you just transition into your new business idea
- 5:42Speaker 7: that you've been working on. Are you transition into the
- 5:44Speaker 7: apps you already had in or the contacts you made
- 5:48Speaker 7: the preparation for when the day they come in in
- 5:51Speaker 7: hand you the pink slip. Well, Steve, what did they
- 5:53Speaker 7: surprise you with it? This is just one example I'm
- 5:55Speaker 7: giving you. So you know, let's let's not nick pick
- 5:59Speaker 7: the message. So what I'm saying to everybody is, don't
- 6:04Speaker 7: be afraid to change, because change is coming anyway. So
- 6:08Speaker 7: many people are stuck in a rut because of our
- 6:12Speaker 7: refusal to change. I was hell bent on a certain
- 6:18Speaker 7: thing going a certain way, and this is how it
- 6:20Speaker 7: was gonna go. Well, that that I was thinking didn't
- 6:24Speaker 7: really fit. Now in my own personal experience, this may
- 6:28Speaker 7: not be yours, but in my own personal experience, the
- 6:31Speaker 7: things that I've had the most trouble letting go of
- 6:35Speaker 7: was something I wanted when I line.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Myself up with the will of God to ask God
- 6:42Speaker 2: what he wanted from me.
- 6:45Speaker 7: You understand, those things came a lot more easy to
- 6:49Speaker 7: me because it was in the will of God. It
- 6:52Speaker 7: was what God wanted me to do too. Okay, see
- 6:55Speaker 7: what you mean by that? Okay, here we go. When
- 6:58Speaker 7: things were going wrong in relationships for me, what I
- 7:04Speaker 7: did was the biggest mistake I've ever made. Was I
- 7:08Speaker 7: attempted to fix what was wrong in my relationship. Outside
- 7:13Speaker 7: of the relationship, feel me. Okay, So I'm out there
- 7:18Speaker 7: working my groove like I want to. Well, now, guess what,
- 7:22Speaker 7: there's a cause and effect for all of that too.
- 7:25Speaker 7: Your house ain't gonna get better.
- 7:28Speaker 2: It can't.
- 7:30Speaker 7: And then that lays room for some other things. And
- 7:33Speaker 7: so now when the change come, guess what I got
- 7:37Speaker 7: to react to it. Now, I gotta, I gotta, I
- 7:40Speaker 7: gotta have a reaction to it. Had I lined myself
- 7:43Speaker 7: up in the will of God, the transition may have
- 7:48Speaker 7: gone differently. It could have still ended the relationship. But
- 7:53Speaker 7: guess what, some of the pain I's in I ain't
- 7:56Speaker 7: had to go through. I bought a lot on myself.
- 8:01Speaker 7: Sometimes you're pursuing a passion of yours, and what God
- 8:06Speaker 7: really wants you to do is pursue your gift. So
- 8:09Speaker 7: now you're pursuing your passion, right, you passion about golf.
- 8:13Speaker 7: You love golf so much you just determine. But now
- 8:17Speaker 7: you're don messed around. You ain't made it on the
- 8:19Speaker 7: PGA Tour yet, and you forty five, still talking about
- 8:22Speaker 7: I'm gonna play on the PGA Tour. Really, okay, maybe
- 8:26Speaker 7: you ain't as good as this you think or maybe
- 8:28Speaker 7: you're not as gifted as you think. Maybe you're pursuing
- 8:31Speaker 7: a passion. Sometimes, man, we have to change and we
- 8:36Speaker 7: have to ask God what is his will? His will
- 8:39Speaker 7: is much simpler. It's a simpler rule. Not going to
- 8:43Speaker 7: be easier, it's simpler. See when I wake up. Now,
- 8:46Speaker 7: it's simple for me to wake up because I know
- 8:49Speaker 7: that are few things that I have to do. I
- 8:53Speaker 7: have to click this mic on. I have to be positive.
- 8:57Speaker 7: I have to be inspirational. I have to be intive.
- 9:00Speaker 7: I have to be uplifting. Got it, That's what he want.
- 9:04Speaker 7: All I got to do is sit down, close my eyes,
- 9:07Speaker 7: ask God to help me be who.
- 9:10Speaker 2: He want me to be.
- 9:11Speaker 7: And for the most part, he tell me what to say. Now,
- 9:15Speaker 7: guess what he's done though, to create this in me.
- 9:18Speaker 7: I went through enough things in my life. I had
- 9:22Speaker 7: enough challenges. I made plenty of mistakes. So now at
- 9:26Speaker 7: my age, I can turn around and tell somebody listening
- 9:28Speaker 7: to me, Okay, this is what I did. This is
- 9:30Speaker 7: a mistake I made. Maybe you see yourself in this
- 9:32Speaker 7: story right here. Maybe you don't have to go this way,
- 9:35Speaker 7: or this is what I've learned about becoming successful. Here's
- 9:38Speaker 7: a principle that I learned. But then guess what I
- 9:41Speaker 7: had to be unsuccessful to get it though, didn't I.
- 9:44Speaker 7: So you can't have a testimony without a test Change
- 9:47Speaker 7: is coming. It's inevitable. You can participate or you can react.
- 9:52Speaker 7: I much prefer to participate in the change. All right,
- 9:56Speaker 7: let's go.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 7: Ladies and gentlemen. Let me have your divided attention. This
- 10:07Speaker 7: another day. It's another blessing, another opportunity.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Man, God is good.
- 10:12Speaker 7: I don't know if you understand how good he is. Well,
- 10:16Speaker 7: let me give you something. You do know that He
- 10:20Speaker 7: has the full power to wake you up in the morning,
- 10:24Speaker 7: and he did it, and here you are. He has
- 10:28Speaker 7: the full power to allow you to continue to breathe.
- 10:34Speaker 2: And here you are not only awake, but breathing, living well.
- 10:38Speaker 2: I don't know what that is.
- 10:39Speaker 7: It ain't me, whoever, whose dryer is going on on
- 10:46Speaker 7: this zoom? Tommy, If you don't get tell Chuck as
- 10:54Speaker 7: what they do it back? Then, Hey, man, we're doing
- 10:58Speaker 7: the radio show. He got a dry going on in there,
- 11:05Speaker 7: cooking rice and beans this zoom. Let me tell y'all
- 11:09Speaker 7: something about zooming, zooming, and then Tommy got his background
- 11:13Speaker 7: fuzzy so you can't see it, but you can see
- 11:16Speaker 7: somebody back there moving around and it's a big dude
- 11:19Speaker 7: and he ain't real quiet, Chuck, cause you know, cause
- 11:23Speaker 7: you know, big, big people don't know how to be quiet.
- 11:28Speaker 7: They move, They don't move in silence anyway. Welcome to
- 11:32Speaker 7: the Steve Harvet Morning Show.

- 12:04Speaker 2: that's my show coach, man, because it sounds crazy. Who
- 12:11Speaker 2: show coach? You know, man, I've been on TV. I've
- 12:18Speaker 2: been on TV a year. Show coach. Wait a minute,
- 12:24Speaker 2: hold up, Junior, it ain't no what's on your mind?
- 12:27Speaker 3: Tell me?
- 12:29Speaker 2: Tell me tell on.
- 12:31Speaker 7: The Steve or the show coach. See, I ain't been
- 12:35Speaker 7: on TV. What is the show coach, Tommy?
- 12:38Speaker 8: So, a show coach makes sure that you're doing everything
- 12:41Speaker 8: right on camera. He makes sure that you don't make
- 12:45Speaker 8: no mistakes. And if there's something that I need to
- 12:48Speaker 8: adjust that I need to make some changes on. He's
- 12:51Speaker 8: going to make sure that I got it down. Pat
- 12:55Speaker 8: when has been on TV tfore? He went on TV
- 13:01Speaker 8: way before me? And you?
- 13:03Speaker 2: Okay, well, I ain't saying it. Who is your show coach?
- 13:07Speaker 4: Is it?
- 13:11Speaker 2: Who is Morgan Friedman on TV? Way more than me?
- 13:19Speaker 2: I'm just trying to figure out who this is. I
- 13:22Speaker 2: just say way more than you. I said way before you, Okay.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Monteale Williams.
- 13:28Speaker 8: Monteale Williams nor.

- 14:57Speaker 8: Narcotics division. And where's the police department Narcotics division?
- 15:02Speaker 2: Man, My name is the officer. Okay, I'm giving you
- 15:06Speaker 2: a call.
- 15:07Speaker 8: There is a possibility. I'm want to try to get
- 15:10Speaker 8: the particulars with you. You have two sons?
- 15:13Speaker 2: Do you have one in okay?
- 15:16Speaker 8: Uh, there's reason to believe that there is some narcotics
- 15:20Speaker 8: going on with these two gentlemen. Now I wanted to
- 15:22Speaker 8: speak with you about it. My understanding that you're over
- 15:25Speaker 8: the crime watch actually in that particular area.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Yes, and I know that here lately there's been camp Hello, Hello,
- 15:35Speaker 2: hang on the phone.
- 15:36Speaker 8: Go ahead, it's my understanding, you guys have I know
- 15:40Speaker 8: you've put surveillance cameras up so you can actually get
- 15:44Speaker 8: a general area of what's going on. All right, yes there, Okay,
- 15:47Speaker 8: where has it been within the last week, because what
- 15:50Speaker 8: we've done is we've put somebody on them and watched
- 15:53Speaker 8: them very closely, and we're wanting to know from you
- 15:56Speaker 8: because I understand that you are the person over crime
- 15:59Speaker 8: watch what's going on with your two sons.
- 16:01Speaker 10: Well, certain, for one thing, I don't allow drugs selling
- 16:04Speaker 10: for my house period.
- 16:05Speaker 4: I don't.
- 16:05Speaker 10: I don't even allow that because I am the head
- 16:07Speaker 10: of the car marts. I don't even allow people to
- 16:09Speaker 10: even come back here to buy drugs. Okay, Okay, Now
- 16:12Speaker 10: I know some kids that's mad at my kids. They
- 16:15Speaker 10: were calling the cops to my house come into my
- 16:17Speaker 10: house and throwing rocks and everything. But I can assure you, sir,
- 16:21Speaker 10: that's one thing I do not play. I do not
- 16:23Speaker 10: allow people to even come back to my house.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Okay.
- 16:26Speaker 8: Now, are there surveillance cameras, ma'am that are pointing in
- 16:30Speaker 8: any area like in your back that.
- 16:31Speaker 10: You haven't really activated it?
- 16:33Speaker 6: No more?
- 16:34Speaker 8: Okay, where exactly were your cameras pointing what angle were.
- 16:38Speaker 6: They towards the road?
- 16:39Speaker 2: Towards road? Right? Is there anything in the in the
- 16:43Speaker 2: backyard area of where you are?
- 16:45Speaker 11: No?
- 16:46Speaker 10: Okay, that's the only one we had.
- 16:48Speaker 8: All right, here's what's going on. We're actually and I'm
- 16:51Speaker 8: gonna just be completely honest with you. Miss there's a
- 16:54Speaker 8: possibility of a raid coming in there, because we truly
- 16:56Speaker 8: believe that they are having some type of kind of
- 17:00Speaker 8: you're being in that house right there?
- 17:03Speaker 6: Could you just hold on for me to say, sir,
- 17:07Speaker 6: hell see if you.
- 17:08Speaker 2: Can get that tech in here. Hello, have you spoken
- 17:12Speaker 2: with sir?
- 17:13Speaker 6: Let me tell you one thing.
- 17:14Speaker 4: Okay, I will bust.
- 17:17Speaker 10: If I don't even allow to come back to my
- 17:19Speaker 10: house at all.
- 17:20Speaker 6: I don't play that. I'm the head of cry and Watch.
- 17:22Speaker 10: I think all they need to go get a job
- 17:25Speaker 10: and and and stop messing up there like that's that's
- 17:27Speaker 10: that's what's wrong with them, okay. And I don't play that,
- 17:30Speaker 10: and and I don't appreciate that.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Okay, are there two boys there right now?
- 17:35Speaker 6: Yeah, they're here.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Can I speak with those guys one by one? Please?
- 17:38Speaker 2: Do you mind if I do that? Miss me?
- 17:42Speaker 6: They don't want to come to the phone.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Nobody wants to talk to the office of the law.
- 17:45Speaker 8: Huh uh, what do you think, miss, I'm gonna try
- 17:50Speaker 8: to handle us as diligently as possible. Do you think
- 17:52Speaker 8: I should come out and speak with your boys there
- 17:54Speaker 8: at No, I'm trying to avoid a raid.
- 17:57Speaker 6: Happy because I'm avoiding myself.
- 17:59Speaker 2: No, I'm trying to avoid a raid coming to your home. Man,
- 18:02Speaker 2: That's what I'm trying to do.
- 18:02Speaker 8: I want to call and talk to you, sensible and
- 18:04Speaker 8: see if I can get some things rectified here, because
- 18:06Speaker 8: right now it seems like it shouldn't that your cameras
- 18:09Speaker 8: should be actually pointing at your back door or your
- 18:12Speaker 8: backyard so I can see what's going on there.
- 18:14Speaker 2: That's what seems to be happening here.
- 18:16Speaker 4: Okay, Well, do what you gotta do, you know.
- 18:21Speaker 8: Okay, Well, before you do all of that, can we
- 18:24Speaker 8: pretty much like make sure that we know what we're
- 18:26Speaker 8: talking about.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Do you think that they have contraband in the household?
- 18:29Speaker 6: No, I don't allow that in my household.
- 18:31Speaker 4: Okay, I'm a Christian woman. I don't allow that at
- 18:32Speaker 4: my household.
- 18:33Speaker 8: Have you beat these children before on this particular issue?
- 18:36Speaker 8: Have you had problems with them in the pass on
- 18:37Speaker 8: this No, all right, I don't. I'm just trying to
- 18:41Speaker 8: square it up as quick as possible. I don't want
- 18:43Speaker 8: you going through being stressed out about this particular issue.
- 18:46Speaker 8: But I know that from my understanding, you're supposed to
- 18:48Speaker 8: be a law abiding person, and you're trying to be lawy.
- 18:50Speaker 4: Abiding, very right. May y'all care very much.
- 18:53Speaker 10: About my community and that's why I do not allow
- 18:55Speaker 10: these things in my community. And if they're doing it,
- 18:57Speaker 10: trust me, I'm going to be on as soon as
- 18:59Speaker 10: I am on this phone.
- 19:00Speaker 8: Well, I don't want you to hang up your chair
- 19:02Speaker 8: because I got a couple of things I want to
- 19:03Speaker 8: talk to you about.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Because if you need me to come over there and
- 19:05Speaker 2: bust them with y'all, don come.
- 19:07Speaker 10: But some I need that come but and I'm gonna
- 19:10Speaker 10: help you.
- 19:10Speaker 2: But some to Okay, I got one more thing I
- 19:13Speaker 2: need to say to you. Are you listening.
- 19:14Speaker 8: Yes, this is nephew Tommy from the Steve hobb In
- 19:17Speaker 8: Morning Show. You just got you got frank body.
- 19:23Speaker 6: Oh my goodness, I'm gonna kick the behind.
- 19:28Speaker 4: Don't do that, because I take that very serious.
- 19:30Speaker 2: They told me.
- 19:31Speaker 8: They told me you are about cleaning up the community.
- 19:34Speaker 8: And they better not be nowhere around there selling no dope.
- 19:37Speaker 10: And I mean only gotta do is look at me
- 19:39Speaker 10: and I stear it them and they automatically leave.
- 19:40Speaker 2: And that's us a good thing.
- 19:42Speaker 4: My goodness, I'm gonna get you back.
- 19:43Speaker 2: No, you can't get me. Now you can get you
- 19:46Speaker 2: can get them.
- 19:47Speaker 6: Oh gosh, oh my goodness.
- 19:53Speaker 4: And here I'm like nervous. I'm like, oh my goodness,
- 19:56Speaker 4: Oh boy, you look at you.
- 19:57Speaker 2: I don't want you to get off that phone because
- 19:59Speaker 2: you're finna go eat them boys.
- 20:01Speaker 4: That's right, because.

- 20:10Speaker 8: dirty up the neighborhood?
- 20:11Speaker 2: We need you? Baby, Well, darling, you keep doing what
- 20:14Speaker 2: you're doing.
- 20:15Speaker 8: I got one more thing to ask you, though, What
- 20:17Speaker 8: is the baddest I'm talking about the baddest radio show.
- 20:21Speaker 4: Tommy Color and Charlie.
- 20:28Speaker 2: Come on and get a prank or some.
- 20:32Speaker 8: You know what I did not tell y'all is the
- 20:35Speaker 8: prankster me, nephew tell me did my first live pranks
- 20:42Speaker 8: on stage at the Improv in Dallas this past weekend
- 20:46Speaker 8: and hit.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Three home runs. The pranking live right there at the
- 20:51Speaker 2: emprov that way. Explain that, explain that one, because we don't.
- 20:56Speaker 2: That means, that means the audience is there.
- 20:59Speaker 8: I'm on stage and I got an audio sound guy
- 21:03Speaker 8: to hook me up with this component that can allow
- 21:06Speaker 8: me to make breakphone calls while I'm live.
- 21:09Speaker 7: You can hear me talking to him. I'm using the
- 21:12Speaker 7: mic on the stage and I am pranking from the host.
- 21:16Speaker 7: So somebody was actually somewhere on their phone and you
- 21:20Speaker 7: called them.
- 21:20Speaker 2: I called him exactly, Yes, sir, Yes, sir, is talent
- 21:25Speaker 2: you know man.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Coming up next?
- 21:29Speaker 9: It is asked the clo our chief love Officer, Steve
- 21:32Speaker 9: Harvey in the building. Right after this, you're listening to
- 21:36Speaker 9: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Hi, this is Shirley's Strawberry
- 21:42Speaker 9: and I'm partnering with the leave. Let me tell you
- 21:45Speaker 9: it couldn't have come at a better time. I'm o
- 21:47Speaker 9: some furniture around last weekend in my new place. It
- 21:50Speaker 9: turns out that was a really bad idea because all
- 21:53Speaker 9: that bending and lifting and pretending I'm still twenty five
- 21:56Speaker 9: didn't agree with my knees. So I grabbed a leaf
- 21:59Speaker 9: because when my body pain shows up, I need something
- 22:02Speaker 9: that lasts with just one pill a leave lass up
- 22:05Speaker 9: to twelve hours. Don't let those aches and pains hold
- 22:07Speaker 9: you back from doing what's important to you.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Use as directed.
- 22:11Speaker 9: Coming up at the top of the hour. In entertainment news,
- 22:14Speaker 9: some sad news. Vice President Dick Cheney. Former Vice President
- 22:18Speaker 9: Dick Cheney has died at the age of eighty four.
- 22:21Speaker 1: We'll talk about that.
- 22:22Speaker 9: Polyamory is increasing among thirty and forty year olds, according
- 22:28Speaker 9: to a dating site, and billionaires Mackenzie Scott pledges yet
- 22:32Speaker 9: another one hundred and eighteen million dollars.
- 22:35Speaker 4: Woo.
- 22:36Speaker 9: She pledges a lot of money to HBCUs. Okay, that's
- 22:40Speaker 9: all I'm saying. That is all coming up as the
- 22:43Speaker 9: top of the hour. But right now it is time
- 22:46Speaker 9: to ask the CLO our chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey.
- 22:51Speaker 1: This is from Joy in Charlotte.
- 22:53Speaker 9: Joy writes, my boyfriend is a crybaby and I'm embarrassed
- 22:57Speaker 9: by him. His son lost his life little League game,
- 23:01Speaker 9: and my boyfriend cried over it. This child is ten.
- 23:05Speaker 9: The child is ten years old and he held it
- 23:07Speaker 9: together better than his dad did. Is it great that
- 23:11Speaker 9: he's so sensitive or is this a sign of weakness?
- 23:16Speaker 2: Men?
- 23:18Speaker 7: Well, here's a deal. You can be sensitive or you
- 23:25Speaker 7: can be emotional. You can't be both.
- 23:30Speaker 1: What's the difference?
- 23:33Speaker 7: Sensitive is your I don't want to use the word
- 23:37Speaker 7: to describe a word, but you are in touch with
- 23:41Speaker 7: not only your feelings but others. You know, You're like,
- 23:47Speaker 7: I'm sensitive to if you're having a bad day. I
- 23:50Speaker 7: could be sensitive to that, you know, if I could
- 23:54Speaker 7: be sensitive to that? Emotional?
- 23:57Speaker 2: Is this hit? Though?
- 23:59Speaker 1: You have a bad day?
- 24:00Speaker 2: Yeah? How bad is your day? I have a bad
- 24:05Speaker 2: day too?
- 24:05Speaker 7: Hey, hey, heyde hold up, So now you're sensitive and emotional.
- 24:11Speaker 7: You get to pick one as a man could be
- 24:15Speaker 7: sensitive or emotional, you don't get to pick two. He
- 24:19Speaker 7: both of them sensitive to his son's loss, crying about it.
- 24:25Speaker 1: And his son isn't even ten year old son? Isn't he.
- 24:29Speaker 7: Either sensitive and emotional to everything? That would be a problem. Now,
- 24:34Speaker 7: there are certain things that a man or a woman
- 24:37Speaker 7: should be sensitive and emotional too. Grief is one of them. Yeah,
- 24:41Speaker 7: you know you should be sensitive and emotional about that.
- 24:44Speaker 7: That's acceptable, you know, grief. After that, though, we gotta
- 24:49Speaker 7: start watching you.
- 24:51Speaker 9: Well, that's what she wants to know. That's what Joy
- 24:53Speaker 9: and Charlotte wants to know, is this a sign of
- 24:56Speaker 9: weakness in man.
- 24:58Speaker 7: Well, okay, yeah, because let me playing something. If he
- 25:01Speaker 7: cried over the loss of a little league game. What
- 25:06Speaker 7: you think will happen if he lose his job?
- 25:09Speaker 5: Ooh, I indicator? Great guy, great guy, you great job.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Guys hanging there, Craig, See yeah, you're gonna have a promo.
- 25:23Speaker 9: Moving on to Hassim and Auburn, Hassim writes, my ex
- 25:27Speaker 9: wife asked me if we can have sex. I'm all
- 25:30Speaker 9: for it, but she's getting married on December twentieth. She
- 25:34Speaker 9: cheated on me when we were married, so I'd hate
- 25:36Speaker 9: to help her, help her cheat on her fiance.
- 25:39Speaker 1: But she's great in bed. Should I give her what
- 25:43Speaker 1: she wants?
- 25:45Speaker 7: But well, you know, let's go over a couple of
- 25:48Speaker 7: technical things. Okay, let's go Number one, she not married.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Not until December twentieth.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Number two, she asked you, No, that's true, so.
- 26:00Speaker 1: He has to oblige because she has Number three.
- 26:03Speaker 2: She's great in bad. I don't know how you're not
- 26:06Speaker 2: over it.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Wait, why you don't know how?
- 26:10Speaker 7: I don't know how you ain't over there? Right now,
- 26:18Speaker 7: I would be typing this letter from the hotel.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Brook to this question.
- 26:22Speaker 1: Should I give her what she wants.
- 26:24Speaker 7: Your response, well, bro, you know she cheated on you
- 26:28Speaker 7: and all this here. You know this is not a
- 26:30Speaker 7: good person, So I don't I wouldn't advise it. I
- 26:37Speaker 7: wouldn't advise it. But then I don't know how you're
- 26:40Speaker 7: not gonna do it.
- 26:41Speaker 2: See, Tommy, Tommy, it makes a lot of sense. Look
- 26:46Speaker 2: problem that you're trying to make sense? That she listened
- 26:50Speaker 2: to me, Tommy, Tommy, it makes perfect sense. Do you
- 26:53Speaker 2: know how many times we.
- 26:56Speaker 7: Have advised ourself against something and done it anyway?
- 27:00Speaker 3: No?
- 27:01Speaker 7: Yeah, okay, see how that don't make sense. I've told
- 27:07Speaker 7: myself not to do it. I gave myself all the
- 27:11Speaker 7: reasons why I shouldn't do it. Yeah, just my stupid
- 27:16Speaker 7: behind went over that did it anyway?
- 27:18Speaker 4: Yes?
- 27:20Speaker 1: God, but when you were younger, right, More so when
- 27:24Speaker 1: you were younger, right right?
- 27:31Speaker 2: Las week.
- 27:34Speaker 7: For stuff I told myself not to do. I did
- 27:41Speaker 7: something at sixty. I did something I shouldn't have did
- 27:47Speaker 7: at sixty. Huge mistake at sixty.
- 27:51Speaker 2: All right.
- 27:52Speaker 9: Moving on to Kamika and Queens, Kamika writes, I already
- 27:58Speaker 9: bought lots of Christmas gifts for our three daughters. My
- 28:01Speaker 9: husband flipped out because he instructed me to buy one
- 28:05Speaker 9: really nice gift for each girl. Since we're taking them
- 28:08Speaker 9: to Paris. Why can't I do both? Should I return
- 28:11Speaker 9: all of these gifts and go to Paris?
- 28:15Speaker 2: What is what?
- 28:16Speaker 1: How are these kids?
- 28:18Speaker 2: She doesn't say, don't know that?
- 28:20Speaker 9: Yeah, she doesn't say she bought lots of Christmas game
- 28:23Speaker 9: and were going to Paris?
- 28:25Speaker 1: Yeah, do you know where?
- 28:27Speaker 7: Do you know what's waiting on you in Paris? Emotion
- 28:30Speaker 7: that has to do? Paris is for shopping and eating.
- 28:34Speaker 9: Yeah you know that.
- 28:36Speaker 7: Now you can go over there, you can look at
- 28:37Speaker 7: the louver and all that. I'm not a museum guy,
- 28:40Speaker 7: don't ask me to go. I don't want to walk
- 28:43Speaker 7: around look at your old pictures. That ain't I don't
- 28:47Speaker 7: like that.
- 28:50Speaker 2: I'll get who painted it? Little ugly white woman out?
- 29:01Speaker 2: Why we keep looking at her like this is such
- 29:04Speaker 2: a nice fifty I'm going, who is she? She's not
- 29:07Speaker 2: an attractive woman.
- 29:09Speaker 7: Dog.
- 29:10Speaker 2: It ain't like they drew nobody hide.
- 29:12Speaker 1: It's the crooked smile, you know, And I.
- 29:16Speaker 2: Just don't get it.
- 29:16Speaker 7: You know, the six teens happling, all all these white
- 29:19Speaker 7: people up on this wall. But it ain't no ain't
- 29:21Speaker 7: no black angels? What is weak?
- 29:23Speaker 4: Why is.
- 29:26Speaker 7: Oh man, it's weak going to heaven? Why is everybody else?
- 29:29Speaker 7: All the cherubs is white? Why the white kid got
- 29:33Speaker 7: these bow and arrows and shooting the sow? Where is
- 29:35Speaker 7: the black kids out not sitting over here watching this.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Woman?
- 29:42Speaker 2: No, and Mother Mary?
- 29:44Speaker 7: And Jesus is black anyway? And I saw him in Croatia.
- 29:47Speaker 7: They got a museum in Croatia with the original artwork
- 29:51Speaker 7: of Jesus, Mother Mary and everything.
- 29:54Speaker 2: They got the artwork in this museum.
- 29:56Speaker 7: When the Italians and Romans came over there and took over,
- 29:59Speaker 7: they whitewashed Omi.
- 30:01Speaker 1: Where is at Wow?
- 30:04Speaker 2: Now all the.
- 30:08Speaker 7: Hic come Valentine's Day. All the little white babies with
- 30:11Speaker 7: the bow and ail stop shooting me?
- 30:16Speaker 1: All right, Celo, I think you've made your points.
- 30:21Speaker 12: Coming up at the shop of the hour time we
- 30:26Speaker 12: will have some entertainment news for me right after you
- 30:30Speaker 12: Love you're listening Hardy Morning Show.
- 30:38Speaker 9: Former Vice President Dick Cheney died Monday night at the
- 30:41Speaker 9: age of eighty four due to complications of pneumonia and
- 30:44Speaker 9: cardiac and vascular disease. Former Vice President Cheney served under
- 30:49Speaker 9: President George W. Bush from two thousand and one to
- 30:52Speaker 9: two thousand and nine and as White House Chief of
- 30:55Speaker 9: Staff for President Gerald Ford. Cheney was known as a
- 30:58Speaker 9: staunch conservative, but later in life he found himself at
- 31:02Speaker 9: odds with his own party and became an outspoken critic
- 31:06Speaker 9: of President Trump, whom he called, quote the greatest ever
- 31:10Speaker 9: threat to the republic.
- 31:12Speaker 2: He Dick.
- 31:14Speaker 9: Cheney also endorsed Kamala Harris in the last presidential race,
- 31:19Speaker 9: and according to NBC News, Cheney battled heart disease for
- 31:22Speaker 9: much of his adult life. He survived multiple heart attacks
- 31:26Speaker 9: and he got a heart transplant back in twenty twelve.
- 31:29Speaker 9: Our condolences go out to the Chaney family. Well now
- 31:32Speaker 9: moving on and totally switching lanes here. We all know
- 31:36Speaker 9: what polyamory is. It's having multiple consensual romantic partners at
- 31:42Speaker 9: the same time.
- 31:43Speaker 4: You know that.
- 31:44Speaker 1: We have Strawberry letters about that.
- 31:47Speaker 7: That's how I memorized what that is because I did.
- 31:50Speaker 7: I did word association. I can't even spend it, but
- 31:54Speaker 7: I know it well. You don't have to time it.
- 31:55Speaker 7: That's how I just know as multiple people. If you
- 31:57Speaker 7: just say the word and break it down more than one, Marie,
- 32:02Speaker 7: more than one, see whaty Marie, Marie, there's three people
- 32:10Speaker 7: right there, Marie.
- 32:13Speaker 2: That's how, that's how, that's how I learned the word
- 32:17Speaker 2: go ahead.
- 32:18Speaker 9: All right, Well anyway, it's definitely a new thing. It's
- 32:21Speaker 9: taking the nation by storm, especially among millennials and Gen X.
- 32:26Speaker 9: The dating app Sister Wives caters to people that embrace
- 32:29Speaker 9: this poly lifestyle, and in a recent report, Sister Wives
- 32:34Speaker 9: noted that people in their mid thirties to mid forties
- 32:37Speaker 9: are the most active daters on this site. Uh, this
- 32:42Speaker 9: is what they're all into. So here's a question, will
- 32:45Speaker 9: marriage you think soon become a thing of the past.
- 32:50Speaker 1: What do you think?
- 32:50Speaker 7: Well, you know, I don't think it's going to become
- 32:53Speaker 7: a thing of the past, but I think, you know,
- 32:55Speaker 7: we done fell off the edge, we off the deep
- 32:58Speaker 7: in and you know, we're just going along with whatever
- 33:01Speaker 7: right now. And so have you seen that show? What's
- 33:04Speaker 7: that show where it's got the black Lady that's got
- 33:07Speaker 7: the three three dudes?
- 33:09Speaker 8: Oh?
- 33:10Speaker 7: Yeah, that Yeah, I saw that right there. I've seen
- 33:14Speaker 7: more than a couple episode. I was staring at.
- 33:18Speaker 1: First.
- 33:20Speaker 7: There's three men vying for the affections of one. So
- 33:25Speaker 7: the one that was living with her when she told
- 33:28Speaker 7: him she wanted to move in this other man. He
- 33:30Speaker 7: started crying right there. He started crying. Yeah, I'm sitting
- 33:36Speaker 7: here and I'm looking at him like, what did you
- 33:38Speaker 7: crying cry? Why don't you just get you a woman
- 33:42Speaker 7: that won't you? What is you arguing with this woman?
- 33:45Speaker 7: And she ain't even fine though, hold up, though, I
- 33:48Speaker 7: don't know how you running this by me. You ain't
- 33:51Speaker 7: even you ain't even fine. And you up in here
- 33:55Speaker 7: talking about I'm finna have another man come in here.
- 33:57Speaker 7: And so then he cried and she was gonna spend
- 34:01Speaker 7: the night in his room sometimes too, and he said
- 34:03Speaker 7: all right, and then she bought in the.
- 34:06Speaker 2: Third dude, another one. Yeah. See, at the time, was
- 34:12Speaker 2: it was it.
- 34:13Speaker 9: The problem that it was a woman with more than
- 34:15Speaker 9: one man? It was the devil standard kicking in. Yeah, yeah,
- 34:19Speaker 9: because men do it all the time. They have more
- 34:21Speaker 9: than one wife, a girlfriend or at one point in time.
- 34:24Speaker 2: We got to call this what it is, what you
- 34:27Speaker 2: want to call it?
- 34:28Speaker 5: Okay, these men, what about them?
- 34:31Speaker 2: If we're gonna call it what it is?
- 34:35Speaker 1: Is garden tooling? Why, that's what across That's why they're
- 34:43Speaker 1: all garden.
- 34:45Speaker 2: Doing it to it.
- 34:47Speaker 7: He's just doing the male version of it. He's garden
- 34:51Speaker 7: tooling too. Now you can call it. You can give
- 34:53Speaker 7: it a dressed up sign. Yeah, yeah, you call it.
- 34:57Speaker 2: Try to make it.
- 34:57Speaker 7: Sound like it said sister wives, all this help.
- 35:02Speaker 8: Mm hmm.
- 35:03Speaker 2: You suppose if if you, if you do it the
- 35:06Speaker 2: right way.
- 35:09Speaker 7: Having a relationship with one person is a full time job.
- 35:14Speaker 9: You hear me, one take care of one well unless yeah,
- 35:20Speaker 9: just see if you can, just let me see you
- 35:22Speaker 9: do that.
- 35:23Speaker 7: Yeah, exactly, Yeah, I take care of one wife well,
- 35:27Speaker 7: and that one wife take care of me.
- 35:29Speaker 2: Well, that's a full time job. I promise. You can't
- 35:33Speaker 2: do that. You can't do that with two people.
- 35:35Speaker 4: You just know.
- 35:36Speaker 1: It must be why they do it so they don't
- 35:38Speaker 1: have to work as hard in a marriage.
- 35:41Speaker 5: You know, if you got three people, that's not what
- 35:44Speaker 5: they do it. I'm in my forties, I'm in this.
- 35:46Speaker 2: I'm in this. I know what.
- 35:48Speaker 13: I know how long the people When I see it
- 35:50Speaker 13: getting together, I know what they look like. They ain't
- 35:52Speaker 13: together for love.
- 35:52Speaker 5: They cause they are hungry. That's what they have for.
- 35:56Speaker 5: They need somebody to help them eat. They not then
- 35:59Speaker 5: us for love? Say, man, can we get breakfast together
- 36:01Speaker 5: as a group? We can all pitch in on it.
- 36:03Speaker 5: We ain't sitting here for love.
- 36:05Speaker 1: It's financial.
- 36:06Speaker 2: If you.
- 36:10Speaker 7: Say that, say that we all getting together, pitch in
- 36:13Speaker 7: on the wrinch say that, don't say can we have
- 36:15Speaker 7: breakfast together?
- 36:17Speaker 2: You do me with that. Yeah, I don't know what
- 36:22Speaker 2: it is.
- 36:23Speaker 7: I don't think it's economics at all. I think it's
- 36:26Speaker 7: low self esteem. I think it is you don't think
- 36:28Speaker 7: you can do no better for yourself. And I think
- 36:31Speaker 7: you just disgruntled with the system and you can't find
- 36:34Speaker 7: no body to want you. So you didn't found the
- 36:37Speaker 7: group in Yeah, you all them sister wives that was
- 36:42Speaker 7: on HBO. They trying to divorce this dude. I looked
- 36:45Speaker 7: at the dude, he ain't even that special. And I
- 36:47Speaker 7: didn't looked at the women too. I will wish we
- 36:49Speaker 7: would go get four of them Monica soon a sister
- 36:59Speaker 7: wise on TV the Utah with the he got full wives,
- 37:05Speaker 7: no one of them coming up.
- 37:08Speaker 9: At twenty minutes after the hour, Donald Trump ranted on
- 37:11Speaker 9: Truth Social about not paying snap benefits until the Democrats
- 37:15Speaker 9: open up the government. We'll talk about it right after this.
- 37:19Speaker 9: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Hey, everyone, quick health question.
- 37:29Speaker 9: Even though you're still thriving, still loving, still connecting. Did
- 37:32Speaker 9: you know your immune system weakens with age. That's where
- 37:36Speaker 9: vaccines come in. They help train and strengthen your immune
- 37:39Speaker 9: response to fight off certain respiratory illnesses like flu new Macaco, pneumonia, RSV,
- 37:44Speaker 9: and COVID nineteen this fall, ask your doctor which vaccines
- 37:48Speaker 9: you need and visit vaxsist dot com. That's vaexsist dot
- 37:52Speaker 9: com to schedule one or more of vaccines sponsored by Pfizer.
- 37:57Speaker 1: Okay, guys, so.
- 37:58Speaker 9: Yesterday on Truth Social Donald Trump threatened to withhole Supplemental
- 38:03Speaker 9: Nutrition Assistance Program benefits that SNAP until quote radical left
- 38:09Speaker 9: Democrats open up the government, even though a federal court
- 38:13Speaker 9: just last week ordered the administration to continue funding the
- 38:16Speaker 9: program despite Trump's threats, White House Press Secretary Carolyn Levitt
- 38:21Speaker 9: reported that the administration will quote fully comply with the
- 38:25Speaker 9: federal court order to tap into a contingency fund to
- 38:29Speaker 9: provide food benefits to tens of millions of Americans. Groups
- 38:34Speaker 9: of civic leaders and nonprofits returned to court yesterday to
- 38:37Speaker 9: force the administration to pay the full SNAP benefits in November,
- 38:41Speaker 9: not just half because they say they were going to
- 38:43Speaker 9: play pay half.

- 56:44Speaker 2: We got it for you. Here it is strawberry letter.
- 56:49Speaker 9: Thank you nephew, subject to my man is still better
- 56:53Speaker 9: than yours. Dear Stephen, Sure, Dear Stephen Shirley. I got
- 56:58Speaker 9: married for the first time when I was fifty eight
- 57:01Speaker 9: years old, and I've been married for four years. My
- 57:04Speaker 9: husband had a car accident six months ago and he
- 57:07Speaker 9: had his mistress in the car with him. That's how
- 57:10Speaker 9: I found out he was cheating on me. We had
- 57:12Speaker 9: to pay her medical bills and cover her injuries on
- 57:16Speaker 9: our insurance. I was embarrassed because my sister was always
- 57:21Speaker 9: waiting for me to lose. See, she dated my husband
- 57:24Speaker 9: back in the mid nineties. He said it was just
- 57:27Speaker 9: a sex thing, but I could tell that she really
- 57:30Speaker 9: liked him. He and I were always cool, but nothing
- 57:33Speaker 9: sexual ever went down until we decided to be more
- 57:36Speaker 9: than friends about ten years ago.
- 57:39Speaker 1: We went out and the rest is history.
- 57:41Speaker 9: My hating sister has six kids and she's been married
- 57:45Speaker 9: for years, but she still got upset after my husband
- 57:49Speaker 9: and I eloped, she started bragging about how much her
- 57:52Speaker 9: husband spends on her and how he can't get enough
- 57:55Speaker 9: of her in the bedroom after all these years. After
- 57:59Speaker 9: months of hearing that, I finally told her that her
- 58:02Speaker 9: husband is sleeping with two ladies.
- 58:04Speaker 1: As she knows.
- 58:05Speaker 9: I showed her the receipts with text messages and pictures
- 58:08Speaker 9: of them hugged up. She had the nerve to tell
- 58:12Speaker 9: me that her man was still better than mine by
- 58:15Speaker 9: the looks of things, where even we both live with cheaters.
- 58:20Speaker 1: And I'm tired of beefing with my sister over my husband.
- 58:23Speaker 9: I don't see how she can hold a grudge for
- 58:25Speaker 9: this long. If I could do things over, I'd still
- 58:29Speaker 9: marry my husband. And I don't care that she dated
- 58:31Speaker 9: him over thirty years ago. Why is she constantly hating
- 58:35Speaker 9: on me over a man that never wanted her. How
- 58:38Speaker 9: do we resolve our feud?
- 58:40Speaker 3: Well?
- 58:41Speaker 9: Well, well, yeah, I mean, don't you understand that you
- 58:46Speaker 9: broke the girl code.
- 58:48Speaker 2: And the sister code here?
- 58:50Speaker 1: I mean, period, That's what this is.
- 58:52Speaker 9: It's not that your sister's a hater or anything like that.
- 58:55Speaker 9: She's upset that you dated someone she dated to her
- 58:59Speaker 9: so what if it was thirty years ago? To her,
- 59:02Speaker 9: it feels still feels like yesterday when she was with him,
- 59:05Speaker 9: So you can't be mad at her for this.
- 59:07Speaker 1: I'm just surprised how you don't see any of this.
- 59:10Speaker 1: You don't know.
- 59:11Speaker 9: So I'm gonna tell you the girl code is an
- 59:13Speaker 9: unspoken rule, okay, amongst women. We don't date our sisters, men,
- 59:19Speaker 9: our girlfriend's men, our cousins.
- 59:22Speaker 1: We don't do that.
- 59:22Speaker 2: Okay.
- 59:23Speaker 1: The girl code has been broken many times within friendships.
- 59:26Speaker 3: We know that.
- 59:27Speaker 9: Families all that, and if you or anyone else does
- 59:30Speaker 9: break it, don't expect to still be friends with these people.
- 59:33Speaker 1: It just doesn't work like that. So that's what it is.
- 59:36Speaker 9: If your sister wasn't blood, I'm sure she probably would
- 59:39Speaker 9: have canceled you a long time ago. Your sister feels
- 59:43Speaker 9: betrayed by you because you married a man she dated
- 59:47Speaker 9: in her past.
- 59:48Speaker 1: It doesn't matter that your.
- 59:49Speaker 9: Husband said it was just for sex. Your sister thought
- 59:52Speaker 9: it was more than that, obviously. Really, really, you're the
- 59:57Speaker 9: hater in my opinion. I'm just gonna tell you you're
- 1:00:00Speaker 9: the hater because of all the things you've done to
- 1:00:02Speaker 9: your sister with showing her the pictures of her husband
- 1:00:04Speaker 9: and telling her about that.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: You're the hater, Steve.
- 1:00:08Speaker 7: All right, First of all, let me start by saying,
- 1:00:10Speaker 7: Sureley knows the girl code. I really don't, but it
- 1:00:13Speaker 7: sounds like she knows what she's talking about in that regard,
- 1:00:16Speaker 7: So obviously you must have broke the girl code. Got
- 1:00:19Speaker 7: all that? Now, me not knowing the girl code and
- 1:00:21Speaker 7: all like that. Let me just tell you somebody here,
- 1:00:23Speaker 7: this letter right here ain't none but some mess. I
- 1:00:27Speaker 7: can't help you. I don't want to help you. I
- 1:00:30Speaker 7: don't know how to help you. Let me just start
- 1:00:33Speaker 7: off with the title of this letter. My man is
- 1:00:35Speaker 7: still better than your No, he ain't.
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: No, he ain't.
- 1:00:41Speaker 7: Ain't neither one y'all got nothing, neither one, y'all. I
- 1:00:44Speaker 7: don't even know what you're writing for.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: I got married for the first time when I was fifty.
- 1:00:48Speaker 7: Eight years old, right there, right there. You don't know
- 1:00:52Speaker 7: how to pick a man fifty eight You ain't. You
- 1:00:56Speaker 7: ain't been in a relationship up until now that has
- 1:01:01Speaker 7: led to a marriage or anything. So you've been married
- 1:01:07Speaker 7: four years.
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: Now, listen to this.
- 1:01:10Speaker 7: Your husband had a co accident six months ago. He
- 1:01:13Speaker 7: had his mistress in the car with it.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: Tight of this letter?
- 1:01:18Speaker 7: Is my man is still better than yours? My answer
- 1:01:20Speaker 7: to that is no, he ain't mistress in the car.
- 1:01:26Speaker 7: I can't tell you when that car crashed how he
- 1:01:29Speaker 7: was trying to figure out how to get her out
- 1:01:31Speaker 7: of there and make sure she I wish, boy, I
- 1:01:35Speaker 7: wish i'd been there and he had his mistress in
- 1:01:39Speaker 7: the car. That's how I found out he was cheating
- 1:01:41Speaker 7: on me. Then you had to pay a medical bills
- 1:01:43Speaker 7: couver of injuries on our insurance. I was in bassed
- 1:01:45Speaker 7: because my sister was always waiting for me to lose
- 1:01:50Speaker 7: Why because she dated my husband back in the mid nineties.
- 1:01:55Speaker 7: He said it was just sex thing, but I could
- 1:01:57Speaker 7: tell she really liked him.
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: Why you with him? That's the girl called that Shirley's
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: talking about. Shirley called this out? Why you with him?
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: He and I were always.
- 1:02:11Speaker 7: Cool, but nothing sexual ever went down until we decided
- 1:02:15Speaker 7: to be moting friends about ten years ago.
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: We went out in the rest is history. No no, no,
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: ain't no.
- 1:02:22Speaker 7: We went out in the rest is history. No you
- 1:02:25Speaker 7: messing with a man to dated your sister?
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: Then here we go. My hating sister had six kids.
- 1:02:33Speaker 7: She been married for years, but she got upset about
- 1:02:36Speaker 7: me and my husband and I eloped. You know, you
- 1:02:41Speaker 7: had to elope because you couldn't get nobody in the
- 1:02:44Speaker 7: family to come to this wed So you had to
- 1:02:48Speaker 7: elope because you couldn't get nobody in your family to
- 1:02:51Speaker 7: come to this Now, why are you calling your sister
- 1:02:54Speaker 7: a hater?
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: I don't know anyway, all right, I'll be.
- 1:03:00Speaker 9: We'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:03:03Speaker 9: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry Letter title
- 1:03:07Speaker 9: my man is still better than yours. We'll get back

- 1:04:16Speaker 9: All right, come on, Steve Let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:04:19Speaker 9: The subject is my man, my man is still better
- 1:04:23Speaker 9: than yours?
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: And my answer is naught.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: He ain't one of the thing.
- 1:04:30Speaker 7: This woman got married for the first time when she
- 1:04:32Speaker 7: was fifty eight. What that's kind of it happens, butday you've.
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: Been married for four years.
- 1:04:40Speaker 7: My husband had a co accident six months ago and
- 1:04:43Speaker 7: he had his mistress in the car with him. That's
- 1:04:46Speaker 7: how I found out he was cheating. And then we
- 1:04:48Speaker 7: had to pay all her medical bills and everything. On
- 1:04:50Speaker 7: our insurance and had to cover all the stuff for her.
- 1:04:54Speaker 7: All right, I was embarrassed. Okay, now that right there,
- 1:04:58Speaker 7: right there, right there, let's go to the title my
- 1:05:01Speaker 7: husband is better than yours. My answer is all he
- 1:05:05Speaker 7: ain't he in car accidents. He don't even dry good
- 1:05:09Speaker 7: with girls in the car. Ever, we're supposed to slow down.
- 1:05:13Speaker 7: You supposed to take backstreets alley all this. He all
- 1:05:17Speaker 7: out on the main street going fast. Lady slammed it
- 1:05:21Speaker 7: to her there with his stupid behind drive there in
- 1:05:24Speaker 7: the car, laughing. You ain't supposed to laugh with your
- 1:05:27Speaker 7: mistress in the car. Supposed to be quiet. Backstreets alleys,
- 1:05:33Speaker 7: turn off one ways.
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: Stupid.
- 1:05:38Speaker 7: I was embarrassed because my sister's always waiting on me
- 1:05:41Speaker 7: to lose Why because she dated my husband back in
- 1:05:45Speaker 7: the mid nineties. He said it was just a sex thing,
- 1:05:48Speaker 7: but I could tell she really liked him. Okay, if
- 1:05:50Speaker 7: you could tell your sister really liked him, why are
- 1:05:52Speaker 7: you dating this man? Shirley said, this is girl cold
- 1:05:58Speaker 7: you broke.
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: I see why.
- 1:06:01Speaker 7: He and I were always cool, but nothing sexual went
- 1:06:03Speaker 7: down until we decided to be moting friends about ten
- 1:06:06Speaker 7: years ago.
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: Tell y'all all this. We just friends. Okay, we went
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: out and the rest is history.
- 1:06:14Speaker 7: No, it's not, no, what you mean. We went out
- 1:06:17Speaker 7: and the rest is history. Now, my hating sister got
- 1:06:20Speaker 7: six kids and she been married for years, and she
- 1:06:23Speaker 7: still got upset after me and my husband eloped. You
- 1:06:26Speaker 7: had to, Elope, because everybody in the family know your
- 1:06:30Speaker 7: sister used to date the man that really liked him,
- 1:06:32Speaker 7: and now you just scooped him up with your old
- 1:06:34Speaker 7: behind at fifty eight, thinking you got something here in
- 1:06:37Speaker 7: congress with mistresses.
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: And now y'all be eloped. Got girl, you had the loa.
- 1:06:44Speaker 7: She started bragging about how much our husband's spills on
- 1:06:47Speaker 7: her and how much he can't get enough for her
- 1:06:49Speaker 7: in the bedroom after all these years. Well they got
- 1:06:51Speaker 7: six kids. I think that he can't get enough of
- 1:06:56Speaker 7: her statement, it's very true. Yeah, and then how much
- 1:07:00Speaker 7: he's spearing on her. Hell, they got six kids. All
- 1:07:03Speaker 7: his check is gone. How much he's spearing on me
- 1:07:08Speaker 7: and you got six kids to every quarter he makes
- 1:07:13Speaker 7: spent on y'all. After months of hearing that, I finally
- 1:07:19Speaker 7: told her that her husband is sleeping with two ladies
- 1:07:23Speaker 7: that she knows.
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: Why would you do that?
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: Because she's the hater.
- 1:07:30Speaker 7: I showed her the receipts with text messages and pictures
- 1:07:32Speaker 7: of them hugged up. She had to nerd and tell
- 1:07:36Speaker 7: me that her man was still better than mine by
- 1:07:39Speaker 7: the looks of things. We even, Well, ain't you paying
- 1:07:43Speaker 7: for the woman's injuries that was in the car accident.
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: Because your husband had a chick in the car? So
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: what are you talking about?
- 1:07:53Speaker 7: She had the nerve to tell me that her man
- 1:07:55Speaker 7: was still better than mine by the looks of.
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: Things, We even even ain't neither one of y'all got nothing?
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: What did you even? We both live with cheaters?
- 1:08:06Speaker 9: So what so?
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: What's okay? What do you want?
- 1:08:12Speaker 7: Me and Shirley? We both live with cheaters. I'm tired
- 1:08:16Speaker 7: of bee for my sister over my husband. Well, if
- 1:08:20Speaker 7: you hadn't marry this man who is a cheaterah, who
- 1:08:24Speaker 7: was dating your sister back in the nineties, who your
- 1:08:26Speaker 7: sister really liked, we wouldn't even be here, right. I
- 1:08:31Speaker 7: don't see how she can hold a grudge for this loan.
- 1:08:34Speaker 7: It ain't a grudge.
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: It's what you did. No, this ain't no grudge. This
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: is what you did.
- 1:08:44Speaker 7: If I could do things over, I still married my husband. Okay, cool,
- 1:08:48Speaker 7: Now it's what you did, and you ain't never apologized
- 1:08:52Speaker 7: or tried to explain yourself.
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: You just want her to get over it. Well, when
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: you're gonna go in down and say, sis, can I
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: talk to you? My bad? But I did fall in
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: love with him.
- 1:09:03Speaker 7: I marry him again, but I won't apologize if I
- 1:09:06Speaker 7: hurt you, But you ain't did that. That's probably all
- 1:09:08Speaker 7: your sister want, you know, women like closure, just coming
- 1:09:12Speaker 7: here and admit to me that you hurt me and
- 1:09:14Speaker 7: you knew I was wrong or something. I don't see
- 1:09:17Speaker 7: how she can hold a grudge for this loan. If
- 1:09:20Speaker 7: I could do things over I still marry my husband
- 1:09:23Speaker 7: and I don't care that she dated him over there
- 1:09:25Speaker 7: thirty years ago. Okay, then we back to you not
- 1:09:29Speaker 7: caring how your sister feel, which is what this ain't
- 1:09:32Speaker 7: a grudge, this is what you did. Why is she
- 1:09:36Speaker 7: constantly hating on me over a man that never wanted
- 1:09:39Speaker 7: her but she wanted him?
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: Yeah, and now you got him. How to resolve our few?
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: I don't know, nor do I care today, because it.
- 1:09:53Speaker 7: Don't seem like you want to work nothing out anyway.
- 1:09:56Speaker 7: You ain't got no sister and you man and Ry Crug.

- 1:12:13Speaker 2: Do we trade anybody? Have we have we traded Dylan Gable?
- 1:12:18Speaker 5: You quarterback?
- 1:12:23Speaker 11: No?
- 1:12:24Speaker 5: Now he gonna be there.
- 1:12:27Speaker 13: No only thing y'all did do Stefanski said he's giving
- 1:12:31Speaker 13: up the play calling duties and gonna give it to
- 1:12:33Speaker 13: the office of coordinator Tommy Reese.
- 1:12:34Speaker 5: Y'all did that. That's all y'all did. In the name
- 1:12:38Speaker 5: of Jesus, y'all did that.
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: But the Testans didn't do nothing. As if we don't need.
- 1:12:47Speaker 7: No, you don't, Junior, because if you remember what you
- 1:12:50Speaker 7: and Tommy were saying at the beginning of deceason, and
- 1:12:53Speaker 7: I will remind you that y'all going to the Super Bowl,
- 1:12:59Speaker 7: I clearly hold y'all that was not happening.
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: Now the disappointment of it has set in. What's y'all's
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: record right now?
- 1:13:05Speaker 5: Three and six?
- 1:13:07Speaker 7: Three wins and six losses? Who you know went to
- 1:13:11Speaker 7: the Super Bowl?
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: You're twisting?
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: Oh, you know went to the Super Bowl. Ain't got
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: but three wins nobody and Junior, what is the Browns record?
- 1:13:35Speaker 5: Oh man, y'all y'all two and what uh.
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: Huh say over here? And bro just as content as
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: I can coming up?
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: Thank you. We got to learn that trick.
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I try to tell y'all.
- 1:13:51Speaker 9: Coming up at the top of the hour, two friends
- 1:13:54Speaker 9: slept with the same man and one of them is
- 1:13:56Speaker 9: disgusted and needs advice. We'll get into it right after this.
- 1:14:00Speaker 9: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:14:07Speaker 9: this is from Marley in Addison. Marley says, I went
- 1:14:11Speaker 9: to visit a friend for the weekend and I ended
- 1:14:13Speaker 9: up having sex with her tall, fine male roommate. My
- 1:14:17Speaker 9: friend's boyfriend was led to believe that her roommate is gay,
- 1:14:21Speaker 9: but he is not. I told her that I had
- 1:14:23Speaker 9: sex with a roommate, and she told me that she
- 1:14:26Speaker 9: had sex with them too. She has sex with them
- 1:14:29Speaker 9: too sometimes. Why didn't she tell me she was sleeping
- 1:14:32Speaker 9: with this man beforehand? I'm disgusted. Should I tell her
- 1:14:35Speaker 9: boyfriend what's up? What interesting and true?
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: Why would you tell her boyfriend.
- 1:14:45Speaker 9: Because she's mad that her girlfriend didn't tell her that
- 1:14:48Speaker 9: she was sleeping with her roommate.
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: But who told them that he was gay? Why did
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: that room? Ok?
- 1:14:56Speaker 9: Well, her friends boyfriend was led to believe that.
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: To believe that, y'all ain't musta ain't seen black and black.
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: Beauty beauty and black.
- 1:15:14Speaker 7: Beauty beauty, And y'all must ain't seen that, because that's
- 1:15:20Speaker 7: that's that's a show full of shakers. And I highly
- 1:15:23Speaker 7: recommend that that Tyler Perry series on Netflix.
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: You have not seen that.

- 1:15:33Speaker 7: something in there for everybody. They got one stripper in there.

- 1:16:05Speaker 4: Lady.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: Yeah, lady, you don't think she.
- 1:16:12Speaker 5: Talking about beauty and black?
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: Okay, so you don't think she should tell her boyfriend?
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: No, lady, you gotta you gotta bite the bullet on this.
- 1:16:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: You the one went up in there trying to be tricky,
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: thinking you're gonna get something.
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: Well, he was tall and fine, that's what she said, tall.
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: Fine and potentially gay.
- 1:16:33Speaker 5: I don't think he was Dad.
- 1:16:35Speaker 3: I think her friend just told her boyfriend yeah, because
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: she was getting so she well.
- 1:16:41Speaker 7: You're not gonna put me in that though, mad and
- 1:16:45Speaker 7: you you don't come up with something else. I'm in here,
- 1:16:49Speaker 7: I'm impotent something.
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: You know.
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: What you're not finna do is come in here and
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: put nothing else on me.
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: You're on fire tonight, sir.
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: I'll just be That's all I do. I'll be saying
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: stuff like that. You know, you come in the house
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: and I have like sills and Viaga.
- 1:17:15Speaker 7: In a bowl and instead of candy, it'll be stuff
- 1:17:19Speaker 7: like that. Yeah, you know, acting like you know, I'm
- 1:17:23Speaker 7: dealing with a medical issue. But we're not finna be We're.
- 1:17:26Speaker 9: Not finna be that though, So don't tell her boyfriend
- 1:17:30Speaker 9: what's up. Just take the L on that.
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: Like you said, all right, it ain't no l what
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: you need to do first is fine and even woha ha.
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: Just cause a man.
- 1:17:40Speaker 7: Sleep with you don't mean he want to keep youmate.
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: What just because a man sleeps with you don't mean
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: he want to keep it?
- 1:17:50Speaker 9: Okay, all right, we have time for another one. This
- 1:17:52Speaker 9: is from Vicky and Chesapeake. Vicky says, I'm dating a
- 1:17:55Speaker 9: younger man. His friends flirt with me and tell me
- 1:17:58Speaker 9: that they want an older woman like me. I get
- 1:18:01Speaker 9: irritated because my age always comes up and I start
- 1:18:04Speaker 9: feeling like a sugar mama. Granted, I am the breadwinner
- 1:18:07Speaker 9: and I did buy him a car for his fortieth birthday,
- 1:18:10Speaker 9: but I do things for my man because I actually
- 1:18:13Speaker 9: love him. Why does he allow his friends to speak
- 1:18:16Speaker 9: on our relationship?
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: What do I do? Well? First of all, everybody know
- 1:18:22Speaker 2: you old. Let's just start there.
- 1:18:25Speaker 9: Uh huh.
- 1:18:25Speaker 7: Ain't nobody mistaking you for forty, because else they wouldn't
- 1:18:29Speaker 7: be saying, hey, I want an old woman like you too.
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: Ain't nobody thought you would there old? Everybody older than her?
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: They won't somebody old like her?
- 1:18:42Speaker 9: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have
- 1:18:44Speaker 9: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:21:50Speaker 9: that ask ask Steve a question at the beginning. You
- 1:21:52Speaker 9: got one for him now.
- 1:21:54Speaker 5: Oh yeah, you know, Man, I just really want to
- 1:21:56Speaker 5: ask you this. I did, Man, I thought about it
- 1:21:58Speaker 5: a lot of things that you do.
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:21:59Speaker 5: You know, do you ever talk about the faith on
- 1:22:01Speaker 5: your life?
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: About to God.
- 1:22:03Speaker 5: God has put this faithor on your life?
- 1:22:05Speaker 13: And I just want to ask you, like, what's the
- 1:22:06Speaker 13: responsibility that you have walking with the favor of the
- 1:22:08Speaker 13: Lord on your life?
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: What's your responsibility?
- 1:22:11Speaker 7: Well, I mean, God blesses you to become a blessing.
- 1:22:16Speaker 7: It's Junior, what's on your mind? Not tell me what
- 1:22:18Speaker 7: you think. It's two different. Yeah, and we have trouble
- 1:22:24Speaker 7: with what you think. You got whipped cream in your.
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: Head from the last segment.
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: My question. Yeah, but I was just you know, Junr.
- 1:22:37Speaker 7: The responsibility comes with faith on your life is the
- 1:22:40Speaker 7: fact that God blesses.
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: You to become a blessing.
- 1:22:43Speaker 7: The mistake that most people make is they get a
- 1:22:46Speaker 7: blessing from God, then they try to hoard it and
- 1:22:50Speaker 7: they try to keep it within themselves, when clearly the
- 1:22:54Speaker 7: objective is to share it. When you share it, you
- 1:22:57Speaker 7: can multiply it. Ain't let me give you any suppose
- 1:23:01Speaker 7: God gives you a hand full of seeds. Now, these
- 1:23:07Speaker 7: seeds can be indicative. It could be blessings, it could
- 1:23:11Speaker 7: be money, it could be good health. Let's just say
- 1:23:16Speaker 7: God puts a bunch of seeds in your hand, and again,
- 1:23:20Speaker 7: the seeds are an analogy. It's blessings, is money, is health,
- 1:23:27Speaker 7: is wisdom, it's no how it's experienced, all of that,
- 1:23:33Speaker 7: just a bunch of seeds. Do you know what would
- 1:23:36Speaker 7: happen if you would put some of those seeds in
- 1:23:39Speaker 7: the ground, Because that's what you're supposed to do.
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: You're supposed to put the seeds in the ground.
- 1:23:47Speaker 7: If you keep seeds in your hand, they cannot multiply,
- 1:23:54Speaker 7: they can't be fertilized, and they can't bring forth fruit.
- 1:24:00Speaker 7: So the analogy that I'm trying to get everybody to
- 1:24:03Speaker 7: understand is if God puts favor on your life in
- 1:24:09Speaker 7: whatever terms, like I say, it could be health, wisdom, knowledge, understanding,
- 1:24:17Speaker 7: the ability to care, finances, whatever.
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: If you don't put it in the ground around.
- 1:24:25Speaker 7: Other people, it dies right there in your hand and
- 1:24:32Speaker 7: you kill the analogy that God blesses you to become
- 1:24:35Speaker 7: a blessing.
- 1:24:36Speaker 2: But now listen, if I throw these seeds in the ground.
- 1:24:39Speaker 7: If I plant one in you, Junior, plant one in Tommy,
- 1:24:42Speaker 7: plant one in another partner, mine put some down on
- 1:24:46Speaker 7: his foundation, Nika. If I come back round the track,
- 1:24:51Speaker 7: or if I look back over my shoulder, I see
- 1:24:54Speaker 7: a bunch of stuff back there that's coming up out
- 1:24:57Speaker 7: the ground, sprouting, producing grow and becoming trees. And what
- 1:25:02Speaker 7: goes around comes around. You know, life has a funny
- 1:25:05Speaker 7: way of coming back around sometimes. Sometimes the people you
- 1:25:09Speaker 7: see on your way around the track, you may see
- 1:25:12Speaker 7: them again. You may lap them, they may lap you,
- 1:25:15Speaker 7: but you gonna see somebody on the track again. Now
- 1:25:18Speaker 7: it's how you did them people when you pass them
- 1:25:20Speaker 7: on the track, is how they gonna do you when
- 1:25:22Speaker 7: they see you on the track.
- 1:25:25Speaker 2: So I would rather have a bunch.
- 1:25:26Speaker 7: Of people that I plan the seeds in and I blessed,
- 1:25:30Speaker 7: which is really how my life works.
- 1:25:32Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:25:32Speaker 7: I have so many people that I'm grateful for who
- 1:25:35Speaker 7: call me and say, hey, mister Harvey. You don't remember me,
- 1:25:38Speaker 7: but you did this one time and this is what
- 1:25:41Speaker 7: I became. Hey, mister Harvey, I know you help a
- 1:25:44Speaker 7: lot of people, bruh, but you and man, that's just
- 1:25:47Speaker 7: a blessing. And I'm not bragging about that.
- 1:25:50Speaker 2: That's just.
- 1:25:53Speaker 7: Me going around the track and it coming back. That's
- 1:25:57Speaker 7: just me God showing me that. Hey, man, don't ever
- 1:26:02Speaker 7: cease in doing good. Just keep doing good because you
- 1:26:06Speaker 7: don't know. Man, keep planting seeds in the ground because
- 1:26:09Speaker 7: you don't know. One of them young people you blessed
- 1:26:13Speaker 7: along the way could turn around to become the biggest
- 1:26:16Speaker 7: blessing you've ever had.
- 1:26:17Speaker 2: You just never know.
- 1:26:19Speaker 7: But if you ain't playing it, no seeds, please quit
- 1:26:23Speaker 7: looking for a harvest. If you ain't made it, I'd
- 1:26:27Speaker 7: give you another example. If you ain't made no deposit
- 1:26:30Speaker 7: in the bank, go down there and get in line.
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: Fill out that slip. Hand it to the lady. See
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: what she do. Excuse me?
- 1:26:38Speaker 7: Yeah, what is this, sir? H This is a withdrawal
- 1:26:42Speaker 7: slip and you are My name is Steve. Okay, mister Steve,
- 1:26:50Speaker 7: do you have an account here?
- 1:26:52Speaker 2: Uh?
- 1:26:52Speaker 7: Uh well, mister Harvey, you just feeled out of withdrawal slip,
- 1:26:58Speaker 7: But you don't have an account here, y'all know. But
- 1:27:01Speaker 7: I want to make a withdraw certain order to make
- 1:27:04Speaker 7: a withdrawal, you have to have an account. In order
- 1:27:06Speaker 7: to have an a country have made a deposit. They
- 1:27:09Speaker 7: ain't a bank in the world gonna give you a
- 1:27:11Speaker 7: withdrawal and you ain't made no deposit. That's not the
- 1:27:15Speaker 7: world we live in. So consider your life like that.
- 1:27:21Speaker 7: What is your responsibility when God puts faithor on it.
- 1:27:26Speaker 7: That's to return the favor. That's for you to become
- 1:27:31Speaker 7: a blessing. Because God blesses you to become a blessing.
- 1:27:34Speaker 7: It's just that simple. And if you don't understand that,
- 1:27:38Speaker 7: you will never reap the benefits of it. Y'all, have
- 1:27:41Speaker 7: a great, a great day today. Talk to God today
- 1:27:46Speaker 7: because let me tell you something he would absolutely.
- 1:27:51Speaker 2: Love to hear from you.
- 1:27:53Speaker 7: Please make it a point to talk to him today.
- 1:27:55Speaker 7: I'm gonna go talk to him right now.
