- 0:01Speaker 1: You just left Panama. We're trying to take back to
- 0:04Speaker 1: Panama Canal. Little things like that, My administration will not
- 0:07Speaker 1: stand by and watch men beat and better female athletes
- 0:11Speaker 1: going to end. And it's ending right now, and nobody's
- 0:14Speaker 1: going to be able to do a damn thing about it,
- 0:16Speaker 1: because when I speak, we speak to authority.
- 0:19Speaker 2: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.
- 0:23Speaker 3: Happy Thursday morning. It is February the fifth, twenty twenty five,
- 0:26Speaker 3: and here are the big stories we're covering today on
- 0:28Speaker 3: the forty seven Morning Update. First up, the state sponsored media,
- 0:33Speaker 3: those covering for the Democrats and shocking News have actually
- 0:37Speaker 3: been paid for years millions of dollars of your tax money,
- 0:42Speaker 3: including the Associated Press and Politico. It's all been uncovered
- 0:46Speaker 3: by Elon Muss. So what will happen next? I'll explain
- 0:49Speaker 3: it to you. Also, the Democrats are furious at what's
- 0:54Speaker 3: happening in our government, the downsizing and the corruption being exposed.
- 0:59Speaker 3: So what do they just say I to do. They're
- 1:01Speaker 3: now moving to impeach Donald Trump for a third time.
- 1:05Speaker 3: I'll explain who's behind it in just a moment. And finally,
- 1:09Speaker 3: on the very first day on the job, the Attorney
- 1:11Speaker 3: General Pam Bondi orders a Department of Justice to pause
- 1:15Speaker 3: all federal funding first sanctuary cities. It is the forty
- 1:19Speaker 3: seven Morning Update and it starts right now, story number one.
- 1:23Speaker 3: This may become the biggest scandal in news media history,
- 1:27Speaker 3: the United States government handing over millions and millions of
- 1:32Speaker 3: dollars to independent news companies. The question now is what
- 1:37Speaker 3: was the government getting in return? And the second question
- 1:40Speaker 3: that everyone should be asking is why did the money
- 1:44Speaker 3: skyrocket to The New York Times, the Associated Press, Politico
- 1:48Speaker 3: and many others after they started criticizing Donald Trump. Well,
- 1:53Speaker 3: the answer may be very simple. The United States government,
- 1:56Speaker 3: under the Biden and Harris regime, we're bribing the media
- 2:00Speaker 3: to attack their political opponents and giving them millions of
- 2:03Speaker 3: dollars in the process. Now, the White House Press Secretary
- 2:06Speaker 3: Caroline Levitt confirmed reports that millions in federal funding went
- 2:10Speaker 3: to Politico and other media organizations, declaring that taxpayer dollars
- 2:15Speaker 3: would no longer essentially subsidize subscriptions. That's how they titled
- 2:20Speaker 3: the payments to news outlets to prompt them up and
- 2:23Speaker 3: in reality paying for coverage that they wanted. To attack
- 2:26Speaker 3: their political opponents, which was Donald Trump and the conservative movement.
- 2:31Speaker 4: And I can confirm that the more than eight million
- 2:33Speaker 4: taxpayer dollars that have gone to essentially subsidizing subscriptions to Politico,
- 2:38Speaker 4: the American taxpayer's dying will no longer be happening. The
- 2:41Speaker 4: Doge team is working on canceling those payments.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Now.
- 2:44Speaker 4: Again, this is a whole of government effort to ensure
- 2:47Speaker 4: that we are going line by line when it comes
- 2:50Speaker 4: to the federal of government's books, and this president and
- 2:54Speaker 4: his team are making decisions across the board on do
- 2:58Speaker 4: these receipts serve the of the American people? Is this
- 3:02Speaker 4: a good use of the American taxpayer's money. If it
- 3:05Speaker 4: is not, that funding will no longer be sent abroad
- 3:07Speaker 4: and American taxpayers will see significant savings because of that effort.
- 3:11Speaker 3: So let's talk about this scheme and how it worked well.
- 3:14Speaker 3: Between the year's twenty twenty four and twenty twenty five alone,
- 3:18Speaker 3: federal agencies allocated more than nine point five million dollars
- 3:23Speaker 3: to Politico for what they described as subscriptions. The reality
- 3:28Speaker 3: Politico is writing articles that were attacking Donald Trump and
- 3:32Speaker 3: other conservatives. You could say this was a pay to
- 3:35Speaker 3: play scheme. Department such as the Health and Human Services,
- 3:39Speaker 3: the Interior Energy Department, Agriculture, and Commerce were among the
- 3:43Speaker 3: quote primary subscribers. The question American taxpayer should ask is
- 3:47Speaker 3: how many subscriptions did you need nine point five million
- 3:50Speaker 3: dollars worth to do your jobs at those departments? Or
- 3:54Speaker 3: were you buying attack ads in essence to attack the
- 3:57Speaker 3: people that may be asking questions about what you're doing
- 4:01Speaker 3: in those different departments of government. We also found out
- 4:04Speaker 3: Politico wasn't the only one on the take. Apparently the
- 4:07Speaker 3: New York Times they could be purchased as well, and
- 4:10Speaker 3: the Associated Press. Since twenty twenty two, the New York
- 4:13Speaker 3: Times has received more than three hundred and fifty thousand
- 4:15Speaker 3: dollars annually from federal agencies, with total contributions amounting to
- 4:21Speaker 3: millions and millions. Since two thousand and eight, the Associated
- 4:25Speaker 3: Press has also secured tens of million dollars for its
- 4:28Speaker 3: news wire services. And then there was another problem, and
- 4:32Speaker 3: that is the fact that when these companies started writing
- 4:35Speaker 3: really nasty articles about Donald Trump, just like Politico did
- 4:39Speaker 3: when they said that the Hunter Biden laptop story was
- 4:42Speaker 3: fake news and not real, the money started to flow
- 4:45Speaker 3: in at record pace. Now it wasn't just political attacks
- 4:49Speaker 3: that seemed to jump as the money flowed from the
- 4:52Speaker 3: Democratic government under Biden and Harris, but also when they
- 4:55Speaker 3: needed cover on other issues like COVID. How do we
- 4:59Speaker 3: know this, Well, here's a great example. The bulk of
- 5:01Speaker 3: the funds, for example, that went to the New York Times,
- 5:04Speaker 3: the tens of millions of dollars over just the past
- 5:06Speaker 3: five years. Well, the bulk of it came from the
- 5:08Speaker 3: US Department of Health and Human Services at twenty six
- 5:12Speaker 3: point nine million, followed by the National Science Foundation at
- 5:16Speaker 3: nineteen point one point five million. Why would the New
- 5:19Speaker 3: York Times be receiving that much money. Well, I'm sure
- 5:23Speaker 3: we won't get a straight answer, but you could guess
- 5:25Speaker 3: that had something to do with the coverage of COVID nineteen.
- 5:28Speaker 3: And you may be asking about the other government departments
- 5:31Speaker 3: that we're paying out massive amounts of money to these
- 5:33Speaker 3: private media companies. Well, there were some other big stories
- 5:36Speaker 3: they need some help on as well, maybe promoting pro
- 5:39Speaker 3: Ukraine war funding, or writing stories that were anti Trump
- 5:42Speaker 3: and the run up to the election, or even now
- 5:45Speaker 3: maybe the anti Elon Musk propaganda, the moral of the
- 5:48Speaker 3: story is it all makes a lot more sense now
- 5:50Speaker 3: when you follow the money.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Now story number two.
- 5:52Speaker 3: The conspiracy in government for control and power is now
- 5:56Speaker 3: being exposed at a level that none of us, I
- 5:58Speaker 3: think even could have made before Doge got a hold
- 6:01Speaker 3: of the government's receipts. And I never would have thought
- 6:04Speaker 3: I could say this in my lifetime. But in government
- 6:06Speaker 3: right now, Donald Trump may not be the most hated
- 6:09Speaker 3: man by the Democratic Party or the liberal media. It
- 6:12Speaker 3: may actually be a guy by the name of Elon Musk,
- 6:15Speaker 3: but the person who's giving him his power is still
- 6:17Speaker 3: Donald Trump, the president. Now there's some new USA spinning
- 6:21Speaker 3: that has also been uncovered. I'll give you a few
- 6:24Speaker 3: of the highlights real quick before I explain exactly why
- 6:27Speaker 3: they're now calling for Donald Trump to be in peats
- 6:29Speaker 3: for the third time. Two million dollars for Moroccan pottery
- 6:33Speaker 3: classes has been exposed. Another two million of your tax
- 6:36Speaker 3: dollurs promoting tourism to Lebanon, twenty million for a Sesame
- 6:39Speaker 3: street show in Iraq, sending Ukrainians to Paris for fashion Week,
- 6:44Speaker 3: you paid for as well one point five million of
- 6:46Speaker 3: your tax dollars for Dei in Serbia, seventy thousand for
- 6:49Speaker 3: a DII musical in Ireland, forty seven thousand of your
- 6:53Speaker 3: tax dollars for a transgender opera in Colombia, two million
- 6:57Speaker 3: for sex change operations in Guatemala, hell And six million
- 7:01Speaker 3: for you to pay for tourism to be exciting in Egypt.
- 7:06Speaker 3: And one million to help disabled people in Tezikhstan become
- 7:09Speaker 3: quote climate leaders. This on top of the fifteen million
- 7:12Speaker 3: for contraceptives and condoms that were going to the Taliban
- 7:16Speaker 3: controlled Afghanistan. Now, these are just some of the things
- 7:20Speaker 3: that we know about. Much more is coming out, and
- 7:22Speaker 3: what this means is is the kickbacks that the Democrats
- 7:25Speaker 3: were able to use to control people. While that gravy
- 7:28Speaker 3: train is now stopped. So what have they decided to do?
- 7:32Speaker 3: Impeached Donald Trump for a third time. Representative al Green
- 7:37Speaker 3: went to the four of the House to explain exactly
- 7:39Speaker 3: why Democrats are moving to impeach Donald Trump.
- 7:42Speaker 5: I rise to announce that the movement to impeach the
- 7:47Speaker 5: President has begun. I rise to announce that I will
- 7:51Speaker 5: bring articles of impeachments against the President for destinately deeds
- 7:56Speaker 5: proposed and desperately deeds done. Rise to say that the
- 8:01Speaker 5: impeachment movement is going to be a grass up movement,
- 8:05Speaker 5: not a top down. The people have got to move forward,
- 8:09Speaker 5: the people have to demand it, and when the people
- 8:11Speaker 5: demanded it will be done. I did it before, I
- 8:14Speaker 5: laid the foundation for impeachment, and it was done. Nobody
- 8:19Speaker 5: knows more about it than I, and I know that
- 8:21Speaker 5: it's time for us to lay the foundation again. On
- 8:24Speaker 5: some issues, it is better to stand alone than not
- 8:27Speaker 5: stand at all. On this issue, I stand alone, but
- 8:31Speaker 5: I stand for justice. I yield back the balance of
- 8:34Speaker 5: my time.
- 8:35Speaker 3: Representative Al Green making it clear quote the movement to
- 8:38Speaker 3: impeach the president has begun, and I rise to announce
- 8:41Speaker 3: that I will bring the articles of impeachment against President Trump.
- 8:45Speaker 3: The media jumping all over this, excited about the fact
- 8:48Speaker 3: that Donald Trump, who's been impeached twice, well, we're more
- 8:52Speaker 3: than likely, as they described it, be impeached yet again.
- 8:55Speaker 3: This move marks a continuation of the Democrat's previous efforts
- 8:59Speaker 3: to get rid of Donald Trump during his first term,
- 9:02Speaker 3: none of which were successful despite resistance from top House
- 9:05Speaker 3: Democrats who are currently not prioritizing impeachment. Was how it
- 9:09Speaker 3: was ascribed to the media, greenstress the moral imperative, that
- 9:13Speaker 3: is time that we go ahead and start the process.
- 9:16Speaker 3: Other Democrats coming to his aid, saying, we all know
- 9:19Speaker 3: Donald Trump's going to get impeached again. It's just a
- 9:22Speaker 3: matter of time. This time, however, it seems to be
- 9:25Speaker 3: a little bit different. They are forced to do it
- 9:28Speaker 3: now because they've lost the kickbacks they need to control
- 9:31Speaker 3: so many around the world.
- 9:32Speaker 2: And lastly, story number.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Three, We finally have a new Attorney General in this country,
- 9:37Speaker 3: a woman by the name of Pam Bondi, and she
- 9:40Speaker 3: wasted no time after being sworn in at the Oval Office,
- 9:43Speaker 3: with Clarence Thomas giving her the oath to get right
- 9:46Speaker 3: down to business on several major directives in her first
- 9:50Speaker 3: hours leading the Justice Department. What was included was orders
- 9:53Speaker 3: to combat the weaponization of the legal system, make prosecutors
- 9:57Speaker 3: seek the death penalty when appropriate, and work the Department
- 10:00Speaker 3: of Homeland Security to completely eliminate cartels and transnational criminal organizations. Now,
- 10:07Speaker 3: Bondi was confirmed by this in on Tuesday night as
- 10:10Speaker 3: the Attorney generalman sworn in on Wednesday. What we now
- 10:13Speaker 3: know is that memos are outlining Bondi's first DAID directives,
- 10:16Speaker 3: which will lay the groundwork for the Justice Department under
- 10:19Speaker 3: her leadership. Bondi issued a director regarding zealous advocacy, saying
- 10:23Speaker 3: the DOJ attorneys responsibilities include quote aggressively enforcing criminal laws
- 10:29Speaker 3: passed by Congress, but also vigorously defending presidential policies and
- 10:34Speaker 3: actions on behalf of the United States against legal challenges.
- 10:37Speaker 3: The discretion afforded Justice Department attorneys with respect to those
- 10:41Speaker 3: responsibilities does not include latitude to substitute their personal political
- 10:46Speaker 3: views or judgment for those that prevailed in the election.
- 10:50Speaker 3: The memo states, and translation, Pam Bondi says, do your
- 10:54Speaker 3: job and leave your politics at the door. Now, this
- 10:57Speaker 3: isn't all that Pam Bondi pushed. One of the biggest
- 11:00Speaker 3: sayings was making sure that sanctuary cities were defunded by
- 11:03Speaker 3: the federal government. Yes, Pamboni also issued a directive to
- 11:07Speaker 3: halt all federal funding to sanctuary jurisdictions, cities and states
- 11:11Speaker 3: that limit cooperation with federal immigration authorities. This order mandates
- 11:16Speaker 3: an immediate sixty day pause on fund distribution, during which
- 11:20Speaker 3: the Department of Justice will review existing agreements with these jurisdictions. Now,
- 11:25Speaker 3: this review aims to identify and terminate agreements that violate
- 11:29Speaker 3: federal law or deemed wasteful, fraudulent, or abusive. In other words,
- 11:34Speaker 3: if you're protecting illegal immigrants and not working with ICE,
- 11:37Speaker 3: do not expect to get federal funds. Bonnie's directive also
- 11:41Speaker 3: stipulates that the DOJ shall not enter into new contracts, grants,
- 11:45Speaker 3: or agreements with non governmental organizations known as NGOs that
- 11:50Speaker 3: support or provide services to illegal aliens. This move aligns
- 11:56Speaker 3: with the Trump administration's broader strategy to enforce federal immigrant
- 12:00Speaker 3: laws and compel sanctuary jurisdictions to comply with federal law. Now,
- 12:05Speaker 3: the decision has significant implications for sanctuary jurisdictions such as
- 12:11Speaker 3: New York, California, Connecticut, which may face major budgetary challenges
- 12:16Speaker 3: due to the potential loss of federal funds. These areas
- 12:19Speaker 3: rely on federal funding for various services, and the pause
- 12:22Speaker 3: could strain their resources, especially amid ongoing challenges related to
- 12:27Speaker 3: being a sanctuary city with all of the costs and
- 12:30Speaker 3: overhead for dealing with the illegal immigrants. Now, the move
- 12:33Speaker 3: to defund sanctuary cities expected to face legal challenges. This
- 12:37Speaker 3: is something the White House new going into the decision.
- 12:39Speaker 3: This is similar to the efforts during President Trump's first term,
- 12:42Speaker 3: led to lawsuits from affected jurisdictions. The outcomes of these
- 12:45Speaker 3: legal battles remain uncertain and will likely influence the implications
- 12:49Speaker 3: of Bondi's directives, but the bottom line is Pambondi is
- 12:52Speaker 3: going on offense doing exactly what the American people gave
- 12:56Speaker 3: Donald Trump a mandate to do, which was to crack
- 12:58Speaker 3: down on illegal immigrants all over the country.
