- 0:00Speaker 1: Come on, Uh huh, I sure will.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Good morning everybody you are listening to the voice, Come on,
- 0:11Speaker 2: dig me now, one and only.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show, you know.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Today I was thinking of what I would say today,
- 0:20Speaker 2: and it just dawned on me this way, and I
- 0:22Speaker 2: just want to share this with everybody listening. You've got
- 0:24Speaker 2: to get some help to make it through life. I
- 0:28Speaker 2: cannot imagine where I would be if it was not
- 0:32Speaker 2: for the help of my God, if it wasn't for
- 0:35Speaker 2: his grace and mercy, if I did not have the
- 0:39Speaker 2: ability to lean on him, and all the times I've
- 0:42Speaker 2: had to lean on Him, which has become a daily basis,
- 0:46Speaker 2: I have no idea where I would be, but clearly
- 0:49Speaker 2: I know for a matter of fact, I would not
- 0:52Speaker 2: be here today. You have got to get some help
- 0:55Speaker 2: to get through this thing called life. I am begging
- 0:58Speaker 2: you to look into it. Man, you've got to form
- 1:01Speaker 2: a relationship with God. Without a relationship with God, this
- 1:05Speaker 2: thing called life is daunting at times.
- 1:07Speaker 1: I don't care who you are.
- 1:09Speaker 2: I know I'm speaking the truth right now, because listen,
- 1:13Speaker 2: no matter who you are, what job title you have,
- 1:17Speaker 2: what aspirations you may have, I don't care what your
- 1:20Speaker 2: educational background is or is not. It does not matter
- 1:25Speaker 2: if you don't get a real relationship going on with God.
- 1:28Speaker 1: I don't see how you can make it.
- 1:29Speaker 2: So many people are faking in fronting out here like
- 1:32Speaker 2: they got it going on, and you don't know, And
- 1:36Speaker 2: you really don't know how many people that you think
- 1:38Speaker 2: in your neighborhood had it going on because you saw
- 1:41Speaker 2: a car pull up in the driveway, or they house
- 1:43Speaker 2: look bigger, or the grass is cutting nicer, and you
- 1:46Speaker 2: only find out that a foreclosure side.
- 1:49Speaker 1: On they house too. See, you don't know.
- 1:52Speaker 2: The mask that people put on to parade around in
- 1:55Speaker 2: is for appearance sakes. So a lot of people you
- 1:58Speaker 2: looking at that you think got it going on. Who
- 2:01Speaker 2: might be the pattern of success that you on a trace?
- 2:04Speaker 2: You got to be real careful with that because it
- 2:06Speaker 2: may not be as it appears to be. But one
- 2:09Speaker 2: thing is for sure, no matter what's going on in
- 2:12Speaker 2: your life, I know that behind whatever mask I'm wearing,
- 2:18Speaker 2: or I realized, no matter what the appearances may be,
- 2:22Speaker 2: that on the other side of me, I'm gonna be
- 2:25Speaker 2: just fine. See, you may be outwardly people hating on you,
- 2:29Speaker 2: talking about you dragging your name through the mud. Look, man,
- 2:34Speaker 2: people can say stuff about you. Most people talking about
- 2:36Speaker 2: you don't even know you. They just participating in it.
- 2:40Speaker 2: You can have that appearance going on, but behind you,
- 2:44Speaker 2: within you, if you have a relationship with God, it
- 2:47Speaker 2: don't matter because you can be all right. I've seen
- 2:50Speaker 2: it get real stormy on the outside for me, but
- 2:53Speaker 2: on the inside I just had to feel and I
- 2:56Speaker 2: was gonna be all right.
- 2:57Speaker 1: See. That's what the relationship gives you. Man.
- 3:00Speaker 2: It gives you the confidence to know that the things
- 3:03Speaker 2: that you're going through are temporary. That is just the
- 3:06Speaker 2: space that you happen to be in. Like I said
- 3:09Speaker 2: the other day, you got to remember something. The road
- 3:12Speaker 2: to success is always under construction. You might as well
- 3:15Speaker 2: get ready for that if you plan it on changing,
- 3:19Speaker 2: getting better, doing something about your health.
- 3:22Speaker 1: If you decide, hey.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Look I just would like to live a longer, more
- 3:26Speaker 2: prosperous life, or hey I want to make X amount
- 3:28Speaker 2: of dollars, or hey man, I'm gonna stop staying out
- 3:31Speaker 2: in these streets and I'm gonna come home and treat
- 3:33Speaker 2: my family way they are to be treated. I don't
- 3:35Speaker 2: care what decision you make when you strike out on
- 3:38Speaker 2: that road to success. It's under construction, partner, that's barrels
- 3:42Speaker 2: out there, there's wide turns, there's detours. You know, it's
- 3:47Speaker 2: being out there holding signs saying slow down. Sometimes they
- 3:51Speaker 2: put the stop sign up. You got to wait and
- 3:53Speaker 2: watch people go by you on the other side. Then
- 3:57Speaker 2: before you can take off again. You've all been on
- 3:59Speaker 2: the road with construction on it. It can be so frustrated,
- 4:03Speaker 2: and the whole time you on that road. I know,
- 4:06Speaker 2: when I'm on the road we can under construction. I'm
- 4:08Speaker 2: always thinking of an alternative path. I ain't ever set
- 4:13Speaker 2: in traffic under construction man, and thought of if I
- 4:17Speaker 2: get off on this exit, where would it take me?
- 4:20Speaker 2: Not knowing, but just man, could I keep moving if
- 4:23Speaker 2: I go that way? That's a dangerous thing sometimes, see,
- 4:27Speaker 2: because oftentimes when we get off the road to success
- 4:30Speaker 2: and we take that other path, we get further and
- 4:33Speaker 2: further off course. Because wasn't no detools signed for that,
- 4:36Speaker 2: Just a decision I made on my own because I
- 4:38Speaker 2: don't like sitting here. Sometimes I don't have the patience
- 4:41Speaker 2: I ought to have, So I've taken some what I
- 4:43Speaker 2: thought might be shortcuts. But I got to tell you something.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Ain't no shortcuts on the road to success. Even the
- 4:49Speaker 2: detourl signs wind up taking you a little bit out
- 4:52Speaker 2: your way and look back round. I remember one time
- 4:55Speaker 2: I was coming from Las Vegas and that was some
- 4:58Speaker 2: type of chemical spill in a tree and you could
- 5:03Speaker 2: almost see the smoke up ahead in very faint. So
- 5:08Speaker 2: they detoreed us through the desert and we had to
- 5:11Speaker 2: go all the way around, and I drove, man like
- 5:14Speaker 2: an hour and a half out of the way. And
- 5:16Speaker 2: when they entered us back on the freeway where we
- 5:19Speaker 2: were to go back to La As soon as I
- 5:21Speaker 2: got it that exit to get back on the freeway,
- 5:24Speaker 2: I looked right there and there the accident was. Now
- 5:28Speaker 2: it was an hour and a half hour forty five
- 5:31Speaker 2: all the way around in that desert to get back
- 5:34Speaker 2: to almost the same place. But it was the best
- 5:38Speaker 2: way to go, because see, that was the route to take.
- 5:42Speaker 2: And that's what you got to understand about trying to
- 5:44Speaker 2: make the right decision to be successful, that the road
- 5:47Speaker 2: to success is always under construction. You're gonna have to
- 5:51Speaker 2: go round a little bit, so quick stop being impatient
- 5:54Speaker 2: with I don't want to go around. I'm gonna go
- 5:55Speaker 2: this way, you go that way if you want to
- 5:57Speaker 2: just follow the detour science. See somebody that came up
- 6:01Speaker 2: this road before you have. Somebody done travel the road
- 6:05Speaker 2: already and they took the way around, and yeah, it
- 6:08Speaker 2: seemed like it's a longer way, and you want to
- 6:10Speaker 2: make that other decision. But stay on the road to success.
- 6:14Speaker 2: It's under construction, man, that's just the way it goes.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Don't lose your patience and try to create a shortcut
- 6:20Speaker 2: for yourself. I'm gonna go away. Ain't nobody ever gone way?
- 6:23Speaker 2: Hold up, Pardoner, you really think you're gonna do that?
- 6:25Speaker 1: Listen.
- 6:26Speaker 2: There's oftentimes a lot of rewards when you go the
- 6:29Speaker 2: least travel path. But the road to success is the
- 6:33Speaker 2: least travel path. That's what you keep getting mixed up.
- 6:36Speaker 2: You keep thinking if you go another way. No, no,
- 6:39Speaker 2: stay on the road to success. That is the least
- 6:42Speaker 2: travel path. It's under construction. You could go out there
- 6:45Speaker 2: with your machete if you want to talking about cutting
- 6:48Speaker 2: new trails. You think the road to success is under construction,
- 6:53Speaker 2: take the other route and get that machete out and
- 6:56Speaker 2: see how long you be out there trying to cut
- 6:57Speaker 2: a path. Sometimes, man, you just got to stay patient.
- 7:02Speaker 2: The road to success has been traveled before by millions
- 7:05Speaker 2: of people in front of you, everybody that has some
- 7:08Speaker 2: setbacks in life. But don't get off the road to
- 7:10Speaker 2: success just because you having some setbacks, just because you
- 7:13Speaker 2: see some orange barrels up, just because there's some men
- 7:16Speaker 2: out there with vest on what they got to do
- 7:18Speaker 2: with you? Everybody, everybody that's trying to be successful, is
- 7:23Speaker 2: on that road. Your relationship with God helps you guide
- 7:27Speaker 2: yourself around the barrels. It helps you have the patience
- 7:32Speaker 2: to go around that way. He gonna get you back
- 7:35Speaker 2: where you gotta be, But you got to go out
- 7:37Speaker 2: there so you can learn some things. See, you need
- 7:40Speaker 2: God to make it in life, because the road to
- 7:44Speaker 2: success is always under construction. He calms you down when
- 7:49Speaker 2: the barrels is up. He lets you know it's gonna
- 7:51Speaker 2: be all right. He rewards you with the patience to
- 7:54Speaker 2: finish because he gonna get you right back where you
- 7:57Speaker 2: need to be and you can get on which way.
- 7:59Speaker 1: You is going. Okay, all right, y'all, we're gonna try
- 8:01Speaker 1: that today.
- 8:02Speaker 3: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen, today has arrived and what's really grateful
- 8:15Speaker 2: and really good about that?
- 8:17Speaker 1: So have we?
- 8:18Speaker 2: Wow, wouldn't you hate to miss tomorrow? So when tomorrow
- 8:24Speaker 2: finally gets here, where's your gratitude? And do you know
- 8:30Speaker 2: you don't have the ability to make her tomorrow and
- 8:34Speaker 2: you don't have the ability to get to tomorrow. That's
- 8:38Speaker 2: all in God's hands. Thank you God, show appreciate it

- 18:15Speaker 6: you messed that all up. What I'm trying to explain
- 18:17Speaker 6: to you is do you calling here on some big bugs,
- 18:20Speaker 6: which I know she ain't got nothing to do with it,
- 18:22Speaker 6: But the fact that you told me that she was

- 20:14Speaker 3: Coming up at the top of the hour.
- 20:16Speaker 5: In entertainment News, former First Lady Michelle Obama reveals why
- 20:20Speaker 5: she never wore braids in the White House. I think
- 20:23Speaker 5: we can figure that one out.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:29Speaker 5: Drake File's appeal over the dismissal of his lawsuit against
- 20:34Speaker 5: Kendrick Lamar, And in trending headline news, the former deputy
- 20:37Speaker 5: is found guilty of killing Sonia Massey. We'll talk about
- 20:40Speaker 5: all of these stories at the top of the hour,
- 20:43Speaker 5: but right now it is time to ask the CLO
- 20:47Speaker 5: Ready clo.
- 20:49Speaker 3: Yes, all right, This is from Aaron and Charleston.
- 20:52Speaker 5: Aaron writes, Ever since our bank account got bigger, my
- 20:55Speaker 5: wife got lazier. We have a housekeeper and she orders
- 20:59Speaker 5: meal prep and she gets her dry cleaning delivered as
- 21:02Speaker 5: soon as we make it. She spends it. We can
- 21:05Speaker 5: clean up and cook like we always like we've always done.
- 21:09Speaker 5: How do I get her to make wiser money choices
- 21:11Speaker 5: for our future?
- 21:13Speaker 1: Well? See, bruh.
- 21:15Speaker 2: Uh, I'm assuming. I'm assuming that your willingness to make
- 21:22Speaker 2: more money as so you all can live better? Or
- 21:28Speaker 2: is your objective to make more money so you can
- 21:31Speaker 2: have more money? Because let me tell you something about
- 21:34Speaker 2: having money If you don't use it, it's useless mm
- 21:40Speaker 2: because I don't know why you would make money just
- 21:44Speaker 2: to have it if you're not gonna put it to use.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Why are you working harder if you're not gonna live better?
- 21:50Speaker 3: Right?
- 21:51Speaker 1: So that's that's my philosophy.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Now, how do you get your wife to make wiser decision?
- 21:59Speaker 11: You can?
- 22:03Speaker 1: Ever, it don't happen, none of us can.
- 22:06Speaker 3: I'm trying to figure out what the problem is.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Rash can't get caller to make better decisions. Tasha, She's
- 22:17Speaker 2: making them saying wild decisions.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Yeah, what's the problem.
- 22:21Speaker 2: All my daughters make them make the decision they mama's
- 22:24Speaker 2: made them, and you just got to deal with it. Now, bruh,
- 22:28Speaker 2: you're gonna make more money. Just as long as y'all
- 22:31Speaker 2: boat don't sink on these decisions. Sometimes you got to
- 22:36Speaker 2: do a little bailing. Just got to bail the water
- 22:38Speaker 2: out the boat. But as long as they don't sink
- 22:41Speaker 2: the boat. If she's not sinking the boat, don't be
- 22:44Speaker 2: overly concerned. I did that before. It's a waste of time.
- 22:48Speaker 2: So I really can't help you, brother.
- 22:51Speaker 1: All right.
- 22:51Speaker 5: Moving on to Mona in Vegas, Mona Rights. I met
- 22:54Speaker 5: a man online. I met him at a hotel to
- 22:57Speaker 5: have sex. My husband followed me there, and he stole
- 23:01Speaker 5: my car and put most of my clothes out. By
- 23:04Speaker 5: the time I got home the next day, I am
- 23:06Speaker 5: having to sue him to get my stuff.
- 23:09Speaker 3: How do I explain it to a judge?
- 23:11Speaker 11: What?
- 23:14Speaker 1: First of all, ain't nobody in their thirty named Mona sixty?
- 23:22Speaker 2: Now, Mola, you lucky, that's all that happened. You look
- 23:25Speaker 2: at that man they pull up in that hotel room. Yeah,
- 23:28Speaker 2: and and and and bring Mohl, then you can count on.
- 23:32Speaker 2: You can't do a man like that. It's nothing you
- 23:36Speaker 2: could say to a judge. What you gonna say? Yeah,
- 23:40Speaker 2: you do you understand that you committed an immral injustice
- 23:48Speaker 2: against your man to where he knew you was cheating
- 23:51Speaker 2: with the man. He followed you to the hotel, stole
- 23:54Speaker 2: your car, put all your stuff out, and that's all
- 23:57Speaker 2: he did. Listen, it's just time to move home. Yeah,
- 24:01Speaker 2: you got busted, and those are the consequences.
- 24:04Speaker 3: Mona, how did she get home?
- 24:06Speaker 11: Okay?
- 24:10Speaker 1: Moving on to I'll tell you who didn't take a home?
- 24:16Speaker 5: Neither one of them. You're right, all right? Moving on
- 24:21Speaker 5: to will and Loganville. Will Wrightes. My wife is a
- 24:24Speaker 5: massuse and her studio is in our sun room. We've
- 24:27Speaker 5: never had the discussion about her having male clients in
- 24:31Speaker 5: our home.
- 24:31Speaker 3: At our home.
- 24:32Speaker 5: I thought that was understood, but it was not. How
- 24:35Speaker 5: did she think it was cool to have another man
- 24:37Speaker 5: in my house?
- 24:39Speaker 2: I don't know, man, I don't know how she thought that.
- 24:41Speaker 2: But let me tell you something I don't know. I
- 24:44Speaker 2: don't know what man goes over another man house to
- 24:49Speaker 2: take his clothes off, get on table.
- 24:51Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 24:52Speaker 1: No, men like that.
- 24:53Speaker 2: Because if I'm going over this woman's house and she
- 24:56Speaker 2: the masseuse I got this is at your house? You
- 24:59Speaker 2: got the family, y'all have a husband. Okay, do you
- 25:03Speaker 2: make house calls?
- 25:04Speaker 1: Ma'am?
- 25:05Speaker 2: That's my next question, cause I'm not coming over your house.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Take my shirt off and lay down on this table
- 25:12Speaker 2: and he and there eating.
- 25:14Speaker 3: That's not gonna happen.
- 25:16Speaker 1: He and that watching TV, He and that with his boys,
- 25:19Speaker 1: the game on. No man, Yeah, that's bad. That's bad. Okay,
- 25:26Speaker 1: Now who wrote the letter, the man or the woman?
- 25:28Speaker 3: Yeah? The man will Hey, brod.
- 25:30Speaker 1: You got rules at your house.
- 25:32Speaker 2: I don't know how you're not. And you ain't bringing
- 25:34Speaker 2: no man and he ain't taking his clothes off in
- 25:36Speaker 2: my house. That's not you need do You gotta get
- 25:38Speaker 2: a studio and you can bring women in here. But
- 25:41Speaker 2: until you get a studio, you have only access to women.
- 25:45Speaker 3: Okay, question what okay, say she had a studio.
- 25:49Speaker 5: Are you still upset that she she does she massages
- 25:53Speaker 5: men or should her clientele women?
- 25:56Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 25:56Speaker 1: You don't even like the right, see I don't. I
- 26:00Speaker 1: don't like that.
- 26:01Speaker 3: Yeah, it's kind of it's weird. Huh. Even though.
- 26:05Speaker 12: She's a professional. So you don't even want her to
- 26:08Speaker 12: have male clients? Is that what you're saying? I don't
- 26:11Speaker 12: at the house.
- 26:12Speaker 3: In the studio nowhere. It's weird. Yeah, I think it's
- 26:16Speaker 3: kind of weird.
- 26:16Speaker 2: I'm in a different position, So let me just go
- 26:18Speaker 2: on and say it. I make enough money where you
- 26:20Speaker 2: ain't got the rule nobody but me. Let's just be
- 26:23Speaker 2: clear about that.
- 26:24Speaker 3: Let's take that out.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Let's just say I'm talking from a real jaded perspective.
- 26:34Speaker 1: Money.
- 26:35Speaker 2: I might be a little bit more open to this hill,
- 26:37Speaker 2: but right, I just he ain't open to it, and
- 26:40Speaker 2: I ain't mad at it.
- 26:41Speaker 5: And I don't honestly, I don't think any man would
- 26:44Speaker 5: be real cool with that.
- 26:46Speaker 3: You know, they've had some sort of jealousy or something
- 26:50Speaker 3: about it.
- 26:50Speaker 2: It's too many stories about a woman rubbing a man,
- 26:53Speaker 2: and it don't go right. We ain't got a quarterback
- 26:56Speaker 2: now because it has.
- 27:00Speaker 5: This is true, clean clean brown.
- 27:06Speaker 1: We can't. We gonna set up here and paying all
- 27:08Speaker 1: this money.
- 27:09Speaker 4: Hey, you good, way out of here, right out of
- 27:15Speaker 4: his job.
- 27:17Speaker 6: All right.
- 27:18Speaker 5: Last one, guys, Beverly and Jover says, my husband died
- 27:21Speaker 5: in January. I just found out that he had a
- 27:25Speaker 5: daughter and she's twenty two years old. My daughters are
- 27:27Speaker 5: mad at their dad and can't accept that he had
- 27:30Speaker 5: an outside child. I have forgiven him, but they can't.
- 27:34Speaker 5: How can they be mad at a dead man?
- 27:36Speaker 1: We gotta up, we gotta big him up.
- 27:39Speaker 2: He's dead, that you're mad at him? Fall he dead
- 27:42Speaker 2: and you got a sister. Yeah, Now you cannot be
- 27:46Speaker 2: mad at the system because the sister had nothing at
- 27:50Speaker 2: all to do with this.
- 27:51Speaker 1: She was just born into this.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Yeah, so really you should embrace the system.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Now you can have.
- 27:57Speaker 2: Your little lips poked out about your daddy. But you
- 28:01Speaker 2: know that goes something my father used to always tell me.
- 28:05Speaker 2: He says, son, you could either get over it or
- 28:07Speaker 2: die mad. Now the person you mad at already did.
- 28:12Speaker 2: So what your next movie.
- 28:15Speaker 5: It doesn't feel like they're going to embrace the sister
- 28:17Speaker 5: and they're gonna stay mad well, you know.
- 28:20Speaker 1: And then they gonna die just like that.
- 28:23Speaker 5: No goodness, all right, clo, thank you. Coming up at
- 28:29Speaker 5: the top of the hour, we will have some entertainment
- 28:32Speaker 5: news for you right after this.
- 28:34Speaker 3: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 28:41Speaker 5: According to People Magazine, former First Lady Michelle Obama opened
- 28:45Speaker 5: up about her style in her new coffee table style
- 28:48Speaker 5: book called The Look. During an interview with People, Michelle
- 28:53Speaker 5: talked about the freedom to rock her hair the way
- 28:55Speaker 5: she wants to now versus White House years where she
- 28:58Speaker 5: didn't feel that braids were an option. She said, in
- 29:01Speaker 5: part quote, I wasn't sure whether the country was ready
- 29:04Speaker 5: for it. The first lady went on to say, is
- 29:07Speaker 5: women of color. That's the way our hair naturally grows
- 29:10Speaker 5: out of her head.
- 29:11Speaker 3: It's beautiful.
- 29:12Speaker 5: And if I want to wear it straight, if I
- 29:13Speaker 5: want bangs, if I want braids, if I want them up,
- 29:17Speaker 5: if I want to add a little color to it,
- 29:19Speaker 5: let that be my business. Nothing is inappropriate. Yeah, I agree,
- 29:25Speaker 5: whatever it is.
- 29:26Speaker 2: But in the White House it is though, Like Barock
- 29:29Speaker 2: couldn't braid his hair when he's been quite love. He
- 29:33Speaker 2: couldn't have came in with some toys at the news car.
- 29:38Speaker 13: Yeah, yeah, we'd have all been looking at Barock like, hey, doll,
- 29:45Speaker 13: mister President's what's happening here?
- 29:50Speaker 12: They got mad at him from rocking a tan suit,
- 29:53Speaker 12: So you.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Know, and then I look back on all of the
- 29:58Speaker 2: people who wo tank suits in the office.
- 30:00Speaker 1: A lot of presidents did.
- 30:02Speaker 3: It really okay, yeah, yeah, he wasn't the first Yeah
- 30:08Speaker 3: you know, you know, I let.
- 30:09Speaker 1: Me tell you right now. They looking I ain't the president.
- 30:13Speaker 3: Why why who would you have on?
- 30:15Speaker 2: I'm not wearing no navy blue suit. I'm just gonna
- 30:18Speaker 2: tell you all right, sure I'm not putting that grid town.
- 30:22Speaker 3: What colors? What you what you wear?
- 30:24Speaker 8: What?
- 30:24Speaker 2: My first day in I wear fam you colors. I
- 30:28Speaker 2: got a suit and green shirt and tie. I come
- 30:32Speaker 2: out there, I rock, I throw the world on fire.
- 30:36Speaker 2: I've come out there and famd you the first day. Okay,
- 30:41Speaker 2: I got that suit too, or then the next day,
- 30:47Speaker 2: then next day, just just to go on and kill
- 30:49Speaker 2: him coming out.
- 30:51Speaker 3: In praiview perfectly, and.
- 30:57Speaker 1: I got that Q. I got about four purple stuffs.
- 31:02Speaker 8: Killing.
- 31:03Speaker 1: Come on, dren kill them. They be man the president.
- 31:07Speaker 5: That is pivot, right because they never talked about what
- 31:10Speaker 5: the president has on, only the first lady.
- 31:12Speaker 3: So you that would be something new, you'd start.
- 31:15Speaker 2: Yeah, boy, me and Marjorie, Me and Marjorie be killing
- 31:19Speaker 2: they be looking up talking about look at her. I
- 31:23Speaker 2: can't stand so much. Gonna be in prison here, then
- 31:33Speaker 2: you're not finna get pardoned. I controlled the d O
- 31:36Speaker 2: j oh yeah, say something else.
- 31:39Speaker 1: Would you pardon anybody?
- 31:41Speaker 2: Oh yeah, hell yeah, I pardon boy. I go through
- 31:45Speaker 2: the prison. It should be so many black people at
- 31:47Speaker 2: the house.
- 31:50Speaker 12: Thank you, Thank you.
- 31:53Speaker 3: Them in there. Yeah you you.
- 31:57Speaker 2: My first week in office, I'm parding. I'm pardoning one
- 32:02Speaker 2: hundred people a day.
- 32:06Speaker 5: All right, all right, we're gonna switch gears here, guys
- 32:10Speaker 5: and talk about this story. Yesterday, a jury found former
- 32:15Speaker 5: deputy Sean Grayson guilty of second degree murder in the
- 32:19Speaker 5: killing of Sonia Massy. We previously told you about this
- 32:23Speaker 5: horrific story back in July of last year, when Sonia Massey,
- 32:27Speaker 5: who was a thirty six year old, unarmed black woman
- 32:30Speaker 5: in Springfield, Illinois, when she called the police for help
- 32:34Speaker 5: when she thought a possible prowler was outside her home.
- 32:37Speaker 5: Well inside the home, Deputy Grayson said Massey began acting
- 32:41Speaker 5: erratically when she said, I rebuke you in the name
- 32:44Speaker 5: of Jesus, while walking toward him with a pot of
- 32:47Speaker 5: water on her stove. The former deputy testified on his
- 32:52Speaker 5: own behalf and said that he was equipped with a taser,
- 32:55Speaker 5: but said she was wearing layers and both prongs have
- 32:59Speaker 5: to stick in for the taser to work. Attorney Benjamin Krouft,
- 33:03Speaker 5: a friend to the show, is representing the Massi's family
- 33:06Speaker 5: in a civil lawsuit, released a statement that read quote,
- 33:10Speaker 5: while we believe Grayson's actions deserve a first degree conviction,

- 54:40Speaker 5: Thank you nephew. Subject her begging best friend. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 54:46Speaker 5: I'm married to a great man and his sister lives
- 54:49Speaker 5: with us. Unfortunately, okay, that is a period after Unfortunately,
- 54:56Speaker 5: my husband and his sister are bestie, so when we
- 54:58Speaker 5: go on dates, she goes with us. She's cool, but
- 55:01Speaker 5: I don't want to always share my husband with her.
- 55:04Speaker 5: I can't make her move out because the house belongs
- 55:06Speaker 5: to her and my husband. We can't afford to move,
- 55:10Speaker 5: so I have to take what I can get.
- 55:12Speaker 1: For now.
- 55:13Speaker 5: My sister in law has a best friend that's always
- 55:16Speaker 5: at our house, kicking it with her and drinking up
- 55:19Speaker 5: all of our liquor and eating up whatever I cook.
- 55:22Speaker 5: It drives me batty. She always needing things too. She
- 55:26Speaker 5: borrowed money from my husband and it irritated me because
- 55:30Speaker 5: he didn't tell me until afterwards. I told my sister
- 55:33Speaker 5: in law that her begging best friend needs to stop
- 55:36Speaker 5: acting like my husband is her best friend. She told
- 55:38Speaker 5: me that her friend and my husband are close and
- 55:41Speaker 5: it goes back to as far as junior high school.
- 55:44Speaker 5: I did not say anything to her, but I let
- 55:47Speaker 5: my husband have it because this woman is always in
- 55:50Speaker 5: our space, and even when I'm not at home, even
- 55:54Speaker 5: when my sister in law is not at home, I'm
- 55:57Speaker 5: side eyeding everything.
- 55:58Speaker 14: Now.
- 55:59Speaker 5: I asked my husband if he gives her money all
- 56:01Speaker 5: the time, and he said she begs him for money
- 56:04Speaker 5: and she likes to. She asks to use his car
- 56:07Speaker 5: during the day and he lets her use it while
- 56:09Speaker 5: he's at work. He said he knew I would flip
- 56:12Speaker 5: out if I knew she was in his car. He
- 56:14Speaker 5: said he has no reason to light to me about
- 56:16Speaker 5: their relationship, and he wouldn't have her in our home
- 56:19Speaker 5: if there was something else going on. I still don't
- 56:22Speaker 5: want her around, so I told him to tell his sister.
- 56:26Speaker 5: He said he can't do that. What does he mean
- 56:28Speaker 5: he can't do that? Now I am questioning everything? What
- 56:32Speaker 5: am I missing? Your husband is wrong? I mean, right
- 56:38Speaker 5: off the back, your husband is just wrong. And let
- 56:40Speaker 5: me rephrase that. Your husband is stupid and wrong. This
- 56:45Speaker 5: is not how a married man should be carrying on,
- 56:47Speaker 5: and he knows it. Why else is he keeping things
- 56:50Speaker 5: from you? He's been lending her money and letting her
- 56:53Speaker 5: use his car and not telling you. And we don't
- 56:57Speaker 5: care if they've been friends forever since junior high school. Grown. Now, okay,
- 57:02Speaker 5: where is her house? He's not responsible for her. He's
- 57:05Speaker 5: got a whole wife and a whole life and everything.
- 57:08Speaker 5: And here's another question. Why is his sister living with
- 57:12Speaker 5: you in the first place? I mean, I get that
- 57:13Speaker 5: the house is their family house, but your husband is
- 57:16Speaker 5: allowing his sister and a raggedy friend.
- 57:19Speaker 3: To get in the middle of your marriage. Don't you
- 57:21Speaker 3: see that?
- 57:23Speaker 5: You say you can't afford to move right now, But
- 57:25Speaker 5: I'm thinking, at the very least, at the very least,
- 57:28Speaker 5: it is time to start saving up for your own home.
- 57:32Speaker 5: The best thing to do is to sell the house
- 57:34Speaker 5: to a sister or buy a sister out, so you
- 57:36Speaker 5: guys can take that money and buy something of your own,
- 57:40Speaker 5: something just for the two of you.
- 57:41Speaker 2: Steve Sureley, these people ain't got no money nothing you say. See,
- 57:47Speaker 2: here's the whole problem in this letter. First of all,
- 57:50Speaker 2: let me just say this. I'm not gonna be able
- 57:52Speaker 2: to say this, dude, in this letter, I just want
- 57:54Speaker 2: to just go out on here and just say I'm
- 57:56Speaker 2: not gonna be able to save you. You have made
- 57:59Speaker 2: two many open, stupid decisions that I'm not gonna be
- 58:04Speaker 2: I can't just fight nothing you did, though. So now
- 58:08Speaker 2: I and I I married to a great man and
- 58:13Speaker 2: his sister lives with us. Unfortunately, his husband and the
- 58:16Speaker 2: sisters are besties. So when we go on date, she
- 58:19Speaker 2: go with her. She cool, but I don't always want
- 58:22Speaker 2: to share my husband with a hub. Now here's a problem, though, Sheirley,
- 58:26Speaker 2: I can't make her move out because the house belongs
- 58:29Speaker 2: to her and my husband.
- 58:33Speaker 1: See that. That's why she can't make the sister move out.
- 58:37Speaker 2: The house is her and her husband, and her and
- 58:39Speaker 2: her husband can't go nowhere Because she just said we
- 58:42Speaker 2: can't afford to move, so now they ain't going nowhere.
- 58:46Speaker 2: They can't afford to move, they can't afford to save up.
- 58:50Speaker 2: They ain't got no money now here. The problem is
- 58:54Speaker 2: the sister in law, the one that owned the house
- 58:56Speaker 2: with her husband. She got this girlfriend that's always at
- 58:59Speaker 2: the house. I was kicking it, drinking up all the liquor,
- 59:03Speaker 2: eating up whatever I and cook, and it drives me, Baddy, Well,
- 59:07Speaker 2: you know she's always needing things too. Now Here is
- 59:12Speaker 2: the whole problem in this letter. She borrows some money
- 59:16Speaker 2: from my husband and it irritated me because he didn't
- 59:21Speaker 2: tell me until afterwards. I told my sister in law
- 59:25Speaker 2: that her big and best friend need to stop acting like.
- 59:29Speaker 1: My husband is her friend. Uh oh. She told me,
- 59:38Speaker 1: uh oh.
- 59:39Speaker 2: Her friend and my husband are close, and it goes
- 59:43Speaker 2: back as far as junior high school. I done told
- 59:47Speaker 2: y'all about these opposite sex friends.
- 59:51Speaker 3: I have told time and time again.
- 59:54Speaker 2: It don't ever lead to nothing good. You can't be
- 59:58Speaker 2: in a relationship and have them people coming around. Nah,
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: she talking about they've been close ever since junior high Captain.
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: I didn't say anything to her, but I let my
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: husband have it because this woman is always in our space,
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: even when I'm not home.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Wait a minute, hold ago, the woman is at the
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: house when the wife ain't there.
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: Yeah, even when my sister in law is not home,
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: the girl is still over there with your husband. I
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: can't help him. I can't help him, and it gets worse. Yeah,
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: he giving her money and she using the car. He
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: let her use the car while hent work.
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: What all right? Hang on, Steve, I just let her
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: no more.
- 1:00:55Speaker 5: We'll have part two of your response, Steve coming up
- 1:00:58Speaker 5: in twenty three minutes after the hour Today's Strawberry letter
- 1:01:02Speaker 5: subject her begging best friend. We'll get back into it
- 1:01:05Speaker 5: right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Hey everyone,
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: quick health question. Even though you're still thriving, still loving,

- 1:01:38Speaker 5: that's vaexsist dot com to schedule one or more of vaccines.
- 1:01:42Speaker 5: Sponsored by Pfizer. All right, come on, Steve, let's recap
- 1:01:46Speaker 5: today's Strawberry letter. The subject her begging best friend.
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: This woman is married to what she calls a great god.
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: They live in this house together and their roommate is
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: his sister, her husband's sister. And is they house together
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: so she can't make them leave. She cool, but when
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: they go on dates, she always go and she don't
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: always want to share her husband, but it's her it's
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: his sister, so she going the dates too.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: The problem is.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: She don't like that, and she got this friend that
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: come over to the house. Her husband's sister got a
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: friend come over to the house, and she begged all
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: the time. She come over there, drink up all the nigga,
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: eat all the food up and everything, and then hear
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: what they said.
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: It off.
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: She borrow some money from her husband one time, and
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: her husband didn't tell her about it until he loaned
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: her the money. So she went off on the sister
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: in law and said, you got to talk to your
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: friend because your friend needs to stop acting like my
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: husband is her friend. Well, then the sister in law
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: dropped the bomb on her and said what they is friend?
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: And they been friends since.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: Now they is.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: Now, see this is improper. So when you're in the
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: improper situation, you got to use improper. Grandma be talking
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: about and all this hit this is we is in
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: some sugar honey ice tea, right yeah, and so we
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: got we gotta figure this out. So and they go
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: far as Julie high. I ain't say nothing to her,
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: but I let my husband have it because this woman
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: is always in our space now here.
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: The problem is.
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: Even when I'm not home, she at the house, and
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: even when my her sister in law ain't home and
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: she ain't hold.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: The woman is at the house with her husband. So
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: now I'm signed, she says, she sighed out and everything now.
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: So then she asked her husband if he gives her
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: money all the time, and she said she begs him
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: for money and to use his card during the day
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: and he lets her use it. Why he had worked,
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: He said he knew if I would he flew. He
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: knew I would flip out if I knew she was
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: in his car. Come on, man, dog, you can't expect
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: no woman to be okay with this. You're letting another
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: woman drive your car. Bruh, It's no justifying this. I
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: don't care how hard she begged. Man, let me explain
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: some TV. My kids can't use my car. My daughter
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: has come in from out of town with no car
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: and asked me, Daddy, can I drive your car? No,
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: because the only woman can drive my car is my wife.
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: You can't drive my car mainly because if you tag up,
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: you don't have the ability to replace now one of
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: my cars. So now you're not driving, that's what. But
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: you got a complete stranger this say if your sister
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: was driving your car, that's different. Y'all live in the
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: same house. But this ain't your sister though. This is
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: your sister's bestie that's begging for money and you letting.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: Her use her car your car. Bro, I can't help
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: you right here. You're stupid.
- 1:05:23Speaker 4: For her.
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: Man something, you gotta get something other than me. You
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: need a man, you need a crib, you need a car,
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: and you need a job.
- 1:05:35Speaker 8: He said.
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: He has no reason to lie to me about their relationship,
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: and he wouldn't have her in her home if that
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: was something else going on. I still don't want her
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: around anymore. But lady, she got to go, She got
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: to go, and somebody got to fix this. And the
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: only person you got pulled over is your her. He
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: got to fix it. He loaning this chick money and
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: letting her use the car man. Come on, bruh, it
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: ain't nothing I.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: Can do for you. I can't help you. That's nothing
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: I can say to my girl.
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: Okay, Marjorie got friends, right, Let's just say one of
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: them come over to the house. Which they come over
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: to the house all the time they had their tea,
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: the little wine niggas sit up, they laugh all night long.
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: Now if one of them come to the side and go, Steve,
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: let me holler at you for a minute. Can I
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: borrow some money?
- 1:06:36Speaker 8: A me?
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: Personally, I got to go right in here the Marjorie
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: immediately and tell this because what this can't do is
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: get back.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: Steve gave a shell some money. Huh. Now he go
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: one more. I let her my com woo bro bro
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: brother Jayson.
- 1:07:07Speaker 8: You know.
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: And I'm good at these lives.
- 1:07:12Speaker 3: Yeah, you're the best I've heard.
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: I ain't got more faith. The only thing I can
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: say is if she get caught in the common only
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: thing I got for you, doll, she stole. That's all

- 1:08:49Speaker 1: Come on, man, you got out that truck in Mississippi
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: the flipped.
- 1:08:54Speaker 4: Over exactly at least three of the monkey is that
- 1:08:57Speaker 4: we're in that truck that flipped over Mississippi have still
- 1:09:01Speaker 4: not been found. So what I when I ask you,
- 1:09:04Speaker 4: what do you think these three monkeys are doing? Where
- 1:09:07Speaker 4: have they been? And what is their next move? That's
- 1:09:11Speaker 4: all I'm asked.
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: Well, first of all, the three monkeys that ain't been
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: captured yet, they black. I'm gonna just go out on
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: the limb. I'm gonna just go out on the limb. Now,
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: what's your next question?
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: I said where? Okay? I also said where have they been?
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: Where have they been? They don't?
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: Now they hiding out like like if you ad a
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: Walmart that's got some woods behind it, they back there?
- 1:09:47Speaker 16: Why?
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: Uh, a target that's got a wooded area behind it,
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: they back there?
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: Are they at a state park? Or Yeah? Now you
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: want to know their next move?
- 1:10:03Speaker 4: Well, let me before before I ask you the next
- 1:10:05Speaker 4: move Okay, okay, what have they eaten since they left
- 1:10:09Speaker 4: the truck?
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: Oh see, now, because they've been in captivity, they don't
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: know nothing about Wiley right. So at night, so at
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: night they at that back door at that Walmart, they
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: done got in and they all down in the chip
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: aisle and stuff down there, your food everywhere. Yeah, they
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: these are then, you know, lab monkey. So there they
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: eating chips, you know, stuff like that. They broke they
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: donuts section they down there. Okay, what's your next question, Tom?
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: What My last question is? What is their next move?
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: Where they headed next? Well, okay, their next move right here,
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: they're gonna steal a car. That's the next they could dry.
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, they'd have learned all that in them labs.
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: See they lab monkeys. They was watching the dude. That's
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: how they That's how they got out. One of them
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: unlatched the cage though, because they smart and reached up
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: there and choked the driver with some piano wires and
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: that fiffed the truck over, and the monkeys was paying
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: attention how to drive.
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: So now they looking for a car. They tried to
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: dry their truck off, but they had tow it up.
- 1:11:31Speaker 3: How did you know they were black though.
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: That's my question, you know, because they're still out.
- 1:11:40Speaker 5: Coming up at the top of the hour, a man
- 1:11:42Speaker 5: on social media needs to that vibe. Do not escape
- 1:11:46Speaker 5: to that, He says, Number one, how do I get
- 1:11:51Speaker 5: back at my prankster friend?
- 1:11:53Speaker 3: We'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:11:55Speaker 5: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. This is
- 1:12:02Speaker 5: from Deontay on Steve Harvey FM. Deontay says, Hey, Unk
- 1:12:06Speaker 5: and Neph, I have a friend who loves playing pranks.
- 1:12:11Speaker 3: Sometimes it's funny, sometimes it's not.
- 1:12:14Speaker 5: I've tried to drop hints that his pranks are not
- 1:12:16Speaker 5: as good as nephew Tommy's and he needs to chill out.
- 1:12:20Speaker 3: But it doesn't seem to be sinking in.
- 1:12:22Speaker 5: I'm now debating whether I should just ignore it and
- 1:12:25Speaker 5: not react, or if I should get him back. What's
- 1:12:29Speaker 5: a good prank that would shut him down for a while? Yeah,
- 1:12:39Speaker 5: shut him down for a while.
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: My prank tink will be funny at all?
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: Serious?
- 1:12:50Speaker 4: All right, come on, you got it. You know, if
- 1:12:53Speaker 4: you're gonna prank, you gotta prank. You gotta get somebody
- 1:12:56Speaker 4: by what they're passionate about, whether it's the children of
- 1:13:00Speaker 4: this state. They say spouse with his dad or you
- 1:13:04Speaker 4: know their mama and they daddy.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: You got to do this. It's got to be if
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: it's a guy, his woman is what. He's probably more
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: passionate about it. So you got to go at that.
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: Once you hit that, so let's do this. Here's one.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: Once you hit that.
- 1:13:19Speaker 4: Now.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: Wait, I didn't mean that, now, you know did. I
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: didn't come across that. He just I just asked because
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: I'm sitting well, that ain't gonna be no funny, Frank,
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna.
- 1:13:32Speaker 14: Tell you that right now.
- 1:13:37Speaker 8: You like, what else you got?
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: You got to come up with something else. Hey, bro,
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: your girl, Yeah, I hit that sneaking.
- 1:13:50Speaker 4: Here you go sneak in your boy's house and put
- 1:13:54Speaker 4: some pants and underwear on his side of the bed
- 1:13:59Speaker 4: and and kind of put it under the bed a
- 1:14:01Speaker 4: little bit, but let a libits.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: Kind of be on the outside where he could see it.
- 1:14:09Speaker 3: Right, that's gonna shut it down.
- 1:14:15Speaker 5: What what?
- 1:14:18Speaker 15: Yes?
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: One a time? Yeah, pants and draw.
- 1:14:25Speaker 3: Always shuts it down.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: Dog, It's gonna be so much yellow tape around my house.
- 1:14:33Speaker 3: Talk about you just got prank?
- 1:14:38Speaker 5: All right, we have time for another one. This is
- 1:14:41Speaker 5: from BJ on Steve Harvey f M, thank you, nephew.
- 1:14:45Speaker 5: Uh BJ, says my ex and I broke up after
- 1:14:49Speaker 5: nearly four years together. We loved hard, but fought harder,
- 1:14:53Speaker 5: and were total opposites who could never quite figure it out. Still,
- 1:14:58Speaker 5: now it's fall season and I start thinking about her again.
- 1:15:01Speaker 5: We met this time of year, and something about the
- 1:15:04Speaker 5: season brings all the good memories back. I remind myself
- 1:15:08Speaker 5: how chaotic it was, but part of me wonders if
- 1:15:11Speaker 5: time and growing up could have changed us enough that
- 1:15:15Speaker 5: it'd be better now.
- 1:15:15Speaker 3: It'd be different now? Am I just being nostalgic?
- 1:15:18Speaker 5: Word? Do some relationships deserve a second chance after the
- 1:15:22Speaker 5: dust settles?
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: Hey, no, have you have you thought about moving on?
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: He doesn't see this all getting this. We met this
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: time of the years, fall.
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: I'm nostalgic. You know we've we loved hard, but we
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: fought harder. You need to remember that.
- 1:15:37Speaker 3: Now instead of worrying about some pumpkin spice.
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: Yeah, worried about winning? You know, I know when I
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: had first come out. No, hey, don't don't go there
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: down that road.
- 1:15:53Speaker 3: Yeah, they fought a lot, he said, they fought hardtimes y'all.
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: The breakup is the blessing. Yeah, and you got don't understand. Yeah,
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: you're gonna get in to say it's something you missed.
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: Some of that loving was good and all this here,
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: but you get some more good loving though without all
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: that other mess. You know, there's gonna be some problems
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: no matter what you get, you're gonna have to work through.
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: It's relationships is work.
- 1:16:16Speaker 3: So you've never gone back to any relationship.
- 1:16:20Speaker 5: Huh, you've never gone back like after you break up,
- 1:16:24Speaker 5: you guys have never You've never gotten back together a
- 1:16:27Speaker 5: second chance.
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: I leave with full hatred with you, your mama, your family.
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: I've been by your street no more.
- 1:16:44Speaker 3: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:17:21Speaker 5: The hearing was about a case where a woman was
- 1:17:23Speaker 5: charged with drag racing and the judge looked at the
- 1:17:26Speaker 5: camera and said, you got some pants on, officer. The
- 1:17:30Speaker 5: officer repositioned his camera closer to his face and began
- 1:17:33Speaker 5: to say, sir, they're in the Then he broke off

- 1:18:03Speaker 1: You know you gotta remember, man, you standing up, they

- 1:22:48Speaker 5: hundred thousand dollars.
- 1:22:49Speaker 3: The application process is quick.
- 1:22:51Speaker 5: There is no medical exam, just a simple application called

- 1:23:06Speaker 3: All right, guys, here we are last break of the
- 1:23:08Speaker 3: day on this Thursday.
- 1:23:11Speaker 5: Thanks to our audience as always for joining us, and
- 1:23:15Speaker 5: just to reminder, Steve to the Steve Harvey Nation. Jamaica
- 1:23:19Speaker 5: is declared a disaster area. Okay, and the cleanup now begins.
- 1:23:24Speaker 5: Disaster relief from the US to Jamaica is delayed. Guess
- 1:23:28Speaker 5: why because of the government shut down. But several private organizations,
- 1:23:33Speaker 5: thank god, are mobilized, mobilizing to send relief after Hurricane Melissa. Now,
- 1:23:38Speaker 5: if you yourself want to donate, please go to Redcross
- 1:23:42Speaker 5: dot org. That's Redcross dot org. All right, you can
- 1:23:46Speaker 5: help the people in Jamaica. They certainly needed some devastations.
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, And you know.
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: What, that kind of leads to my closes and remarks too,
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: because I just want to remind people. Look, we have
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: to be considerate over one another. The government is not coming,
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: that cavalry is not coming over the hill. But for us,
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: it never has, has it the last time you can
- 1:24:16Speaker 2: count on the government for anything.
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: And government is supposed to be for the people, but
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: it's not that weight at all.
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: The government is for two party systems to exist, and
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: for those two parties to validate their existence, they have
- 1:24:36Speaker 2: to destroy the other party.
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: And that's all I'm watching them do.
- 1:24:41Speaker 2: The Republicans are talking about what the Democrats ain't, and
- 1:24:44Speaker 2: the Democrats is talking about what the Republicans ain't. The
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: Republicans is mad because the Democrats won't do this, and
- 1:24:50Speaker 2: the Democrats is mad because the Republicans won't do that well,
- 1:24:55Speaker 2: and so then they sit up there and don't nobody
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: do nothing. So we as the common man, we have
- 1:25:02Speaker 2: to be considerate. Now the government is on shut down,
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: so there's nothing gonna be happening for Jamaica. But if
- 1:25:08Speaker 2: you can, if at all possible, your small contribution can
- 1:25:12Speaker 2: make a difference. See, a dollar to you is water
- 1:25:17Speaker 2: and something to eat to somebody else. You know, we
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: just have to be considerate of one another. You know,
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: the Bible is full of that. You know, it's amazing
- 1:25:27Speaker 2: how we forget that. You remember, you grow up your
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: Sunday school and you learn do unto others that you
- 1:25:33Speaker 2: would have them do unto you. Do you know that
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: still applies, don't you? That you should do unto other
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: people as you would have them do unto you. So
- 1:25:44Speaker 2: don't be surprised when that actually works out that way.
- 1:25:51Speaker 2: So let me give you an example. Let's say you
- 1:25:56Speaker 2: on the air, you're on the podcast radio show, you
- 1:25:59Speaker 2: on Bears, whatever, and.
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: You decide to take that opportunity to talk about some people.
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: Well, when that turns around and the talk becomes about you,
- 1:26:12Speaker 2: do you not understand that doing unto others as you.
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: Would have them do unto you, that has to come
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: into effect.
- 1:26:21Speaker 2: You can't be steadily bringing somebody down and don't expect
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: to get bought down. That that's not how this works.
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: But at the same time, there's a positive element to
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: this too. If you are in the uplift business, you
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: will forever be uplifted. If you are in the kindness business,
- 1:26:41Speaker 2: kind things.
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: Will happen to you.
- 1:26:44Speaker 2: If you are just person, just things will happen to you,
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: even when they plan evil against you.
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: And all of you know what that is. Do you
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: know how many of you have had people plot evil
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: against you?
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: I mean people you don't even know, just want to
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: use your name or your situation to talk about it,
- 1:27:05Speaker 2: to belittle you, to make you feel less thand.
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: And then here you go. You win anyway.
- 1:27:14Speaker 2: Because you ain't that type of person, because you just
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: held your ground and you kept living your life. Look,
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: you can't you can't stop what somebody else do just
- 1:27:24Speaker 2: because you know it. I know a lot of people
- 1:27:27Speaker 2: are done wrong, but because I know them, that don't
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: mean that I'm wrong.
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: I got some friends, I have some friends who have
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: made some serious mistakes.
- 1:27:38Speaker 2: Now we still friends, but I gotta distance myself too
- 1:27:42Speaker 2: because I got a brand to take care of. See
- 1:27:44Speaker 2: people talking them Now. You got to keep it real, now,
- 1:27:46Speaker 2: don't you gotta keep it moving. You can't do real
- 1:27:49Speaker 2: stuff that prohibits you from keeping it moving. Y'all getting
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: this thing twisted?
- 1:27:55Speaker 13: Man?
- 1:27:56Speaker 2: You know I'm see okay. Now we want to something else.
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: When God elevates you, remember this, he elevates you. You
- 1:28:07Speaker 2: can't take everybody with you. My daddy used to say
- 1:28:11Speaker 2: something to me all the time. He said, son, everybody
- 1:28:14Speaker 2: come with you, can't go with you. And y'all gotta
- 1:28:18Speaker 2: be aware of that, because when God takes you to
- 1:28:21Speaker 2: a certain level, you can't take everybody with you.
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: Because they're not ready for that level. If you take
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: them to that level that God has taken you too,
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: they gonna mess you up. They gonna mess you up.
- 1:28:33Speaker 2: I remember one example, man, I had a corporate gig
- 1:28:37Speaker 2: at insurance company. I took one of my home boys
- 1:28:41Speaker 2: to the corporate picnic. Biggest mistake I ever made in
- 1:28:45Speaker 2: my life. I'm over there playing frisbee and all of
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: a sudden.
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: I help bow.
- 1:28:52Speaker 2: I turn around my supervisor on the ground I walk
- 1:28:56Speaker 2: over there. The dude I bought Whitney standing over him
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: the back. He didn't hit him in the back with
- 1:29:02Speaker 2: the back. Okay, everybody come with you, can't go with you.
- 1:29:08Speaker 2: Just remember God takes you to places that He has
- 1:29:12Speaker 2: prepared for you. If he'd have prepared the place for them,
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: he'd took them that. It ain't your job to take
- 1:29:19Speaker 2: everybody with you. Everybody come with you, can't go with
- 1:29:23Speaker 2: you do unto others that you would have them do
- 1:29:26Speaker 2: unto you. But sometimes you got to leave people where
- 1:29:29Speaker 2: they are because they gonna mess you up where you act.
- 1:29:33Speaker 2: Leave them where they are before they mess you up
- 1:29:36Speaker 2: where you at. Those are my clothing remarks today. They
- 1:29:40Speaker 2: was all over the place. But then that what I
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: felt like Satan today. Talk to God today.
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: He'd absolutely loved to his mom be so fall.
