- 0:24Speaker 4: Listening to show. I don't joy.
- 0:45Speaker 5: Yeah, Joy, you gotta turn out, Love, turn you gotta
- 1:25Speaker 5: turn well, you.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Have to turn the mouth.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Turn you probably got to turn the mouth, turn out,
- 1:46Speaker 3: turn the water the money up. Looking at me, come
- 1:58Speaker 3: come out?
- 1:59Speaker 6: You think I sure will? Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 7: You are listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 2:07Speaker 7: one and all is Steve Harvey got a radio show
- 2:13Speaker 7: particular me this morning. Steve Harvey got a radio show
- 2:18Speaker 7: fear with nothing but joy and hope about it too.
- 2:22Speaker 7: You know, it's a great thing to be able to
- 2:23Speaker 7: wake up in the morning with peace in your heart
- 2:26Speaker 7: and joy. Peace and joy is immeasurable. It has a
- 2:32Speaker 7: value attached to it, and I have no idea what
- 2:34Speaker 7: it is. It's invaluable. It is worth so much more
- 2:38Speaker 7: than any amount of money you can make. Peace and joy.
- 2:43Speaker 7: I have not always had that. I've not always been
- 2:47Speaker 7: a peaceful person or a person who lived his life
- 2:52Speaker 7: and enjoy spirit. It took an arrival at this moment.
- 2:56Speaker 7: Some people arrived sooner than others. I wish I had
- 3:01Speaker 7: arrived at this point sooner, but I think it was
- 3:05Speaker 7: necessary for me to learn a few things too. That's
- 3:09Speaker 7: the amazing thing I've learned about life is that instead
- 3:13Speaker 7: of reflecting on your past incidences and calling them failures,
- 3:19Speaker 7: instead of focusing on the negative and calling them bad times,
- 3:26Speaker 7: I look at them now as experiences. I had to
- 3:30Speaker 7: have those experiences that were negative, that were good, positive, wrong, evil.
- 3:36Speaker 7: I had to have all those experiences to become to
- 3:41Speaker 7: shape who we are today. We all have to have them.
- 3:46Speaker 7: If you look back at all the negative experiences you've had,
- 3:50Speaker 7: all the things that you called failures, all the businesses
- 3:54Speaker 7: I started that went under, all of the jobs I
- 3:57Speaker 7: had that I was fired from, all the show that
- 4:00Speaker 7: were canceled, all of the times I thought I was
- 4:04Speaker 7: gonna get something happened in my way and turned out
- 4:07Speaker 7: I didn't get it at all. When you look at
- 4:09Speaker 7: all of it, all of it, hopefully along the way,
- 4:13Speaker 7: what you have done as a person is you've taken
- 4:15Speaker 7: those negatives and those failures and you've used them for
- 4:20Speaker 7: what they actually are. They are experiences, and they've now
- 4:25Speaker 7: created in you an experienced person, and you know that
- 4:31Speaker 7: is worth something that's then it becomes a positive. But
- 4:36Speaker 7: what too many people do is they let the negative
- 4:39Speaker 7: things that have happened in their life. They allow the
- 4:42Speaker 7: failures that have happened in them lives never to manifest
- 4:45Speaker 7: themselves as experiences. And you sit up there and you
- 4:49Speaker 7: dwell on it, and you dwell on it until you
- 4:52Speaker 7: have this woe is me attitude. Stop looking at it
- 4:55Speaker 7: like that, y'all. You go through things in order to
- 4:59Speaker 7: be the person that you are today. I'll tell you
- 5:02Speaker 7: who you sometimes have to sit down and talk to.
- 5:05Speaker 7: Sometimes you ought to sit down to an inmate that
- 5:07Speaker 7: really gets it. An inmate that says, man, I've actually
- 5:12Speaker 7: heard inmates say it to me and write to me,
- 5:14Speaker 7: and they've said things like, man, come into prison, save
- 5:18Speaker 7: my life. Now, those of you have never got how
- 5:21Speaker 7: can he say a thing like that? But some men know, man,
- 5:25Speaker 7: I was so far out there that if I'd have
- 5:27Speaker 7: stayed out there, I wouldn't even be here today. This
- 5:30Speaker 7: actually allowed me to stop, spend some time with myself
- 5:33Speaker 7: and learn some things about me. Now, does that happen
- 5:36Speaker 7: for everybody like that? And no, But here's a person
- 5:39Speaker 7: who has taking an experience that could be considered a
- 5:42Speaker 7: failure or negative and turn it into a positive and
- 5:46Speaker 7: using it to enrich their lives. You can do it
- 5:48Speaker 7: no matter what your set of circumstances is. I recommend
- 5:51Speaker 7: to everybody that you try changing your outlook in order
- 5:55Speaker 7: to change your outcome. Everything that happens to you that's
- 5:59Speaker 7: negative or you consider failure their experiences. You've got to
- 6:02Speaker 7: go through these things in order to have the knowledge
- 6:04Speaker 7: that you have today. So I wish that I had
- 6:08Speaker 7: come to this arrival that I'm in now, this place
- 6:11Speaker 7: of peace and joy, But then guess what, I will
- 6:14Speaker 7: not know what I know. I couldnot share some of
- 6:17Speaker 7: the things that I'm able to share if I had
- 6:20Speaker 7: not gone through some of them. And sometimes that's the
- 6:22Speaker 7: purpose of them. It's to teach you a lesson because
- 6:25Speaker 7: you know, God has a plan for you, He really
- 6:27Speaker 7: really does, and eventually he can use you no matter
- 6:30Speaker 7: how old you are, and he can use you no
- 6:33Speaker 7: matter how young you are. If you just say, okay,
- 6:36Speaker 7: I'm ready to hear your plan. I've tried mine, mine
- 6:39Speaker 7: ain't worked out. What's your plan for me?
- 6:42Speaker 2: God?
- 6:43Speaker 6: What do you want me to do?
- 6:44Speaker 7: That's why I say every day, Steve already got radio show, y'all, cause, man,
- 6:48Speaker 7: I ain't see it coming.
- 6:50Speaker 6: I didn't see that coming. I ain't see this book coming.
- 6:52Speaker 6: I ain't.
- 6:53Speaker 7: I ain't seen half of the amazing things that are
- 6:56Speaker 7: happened to me. I didn't plan them. I was sitting there, man,
- 7:00Speaker 7: and asking God for some direction. And then I got
- 7:03Speaker 7: smart enough to stay watchful, be a hard worker now
- 7:07Speaker 7: because faithful, our works is dead, and it came. And
- 7:10Speaker 7: I'll remind you of this. God has given all of
- 7:12Speaker 7: you a gift. Every last one of you listening has
- 7:16Speaker 7: a gift. God has never created a soul that he
- 7:18Speaker 7: did not provide a gift to. God gives everyone a gift,
- 7:23Speaker 7: and a gift is not just singing, rapping entertainment. The
- 7:27Speaker 7: richer gifts are much more than that. Teachers are gifted
- 7:30Speaker 7: people who really have the gift of sharing information. That's
- 7:34Speaker 7: a gift, you know, and in that you can become great.
- 7:40Speaker 6: You know, a.
- 7:43Speaker 7: Lot of people think that successful and greatness is the
- 7:46Speaker 7: same thing. Cornell West said it at my daughter's graduation.
- 7:50Speaker 7: He was a spokesperson and he said something so pointed.
- 7:53Speaker 7: He said, don't ever confuse success with greatness. The two
- 7:57Speaker 7: have nothing to do with each other. See people determine
- 8:00Speaker 7: success about money and fame and all this here, but greatness.
- 8:05Speaker 7: Greatness ain't got nothing to do with your money. It
- 8:07Speaker 7: ain't got nothing to do with your fame. It's how
- 8:09Speaker 7: you conduct your life. It's how meaningful and significant you
- 8:13Speaker 7: become in your community, at your church, on your job,
- 8:18Speaker 7: to the cub Scout unit that you run, to the
- 8:20Speaker 7: little girl's lives, that you change, that that little center
- 8:23Speaker 7: in the hood where you just one place of hope
- 8:26Speaker 7: to so many people and they come back. And I
- 8:29Speaker 7: used the example of lou Danzler who passed away in
- 8:32Speaker 7: La who had the Boys and Girls Challenges Club out
- 8:35Speaker 7: in La And he wasn't a rich man at all,
- 8:37Speaker 7: and if you walk by him, you wouldn't even know
- 8:39Speaker 7: who he was. But if you look at all the
- 8:41Speaker 7: people who have gone on to become politicians, who have
- 8:45Speaker 7: gone on to become CEOs, who have gone on to
- 8:48Speaker 7: become athletes, that have passed through this man's small building
- 8:51Speaker 7: in the hood in La, he was great. Trust me, man,
- 8:57Speaker 7: prayt changes things I said at all the time. But
- 8:59Speaker 7: when you see people become successful or great, that somebody
- 9:02Speaker 7: praying somewhere may not even be them.
- 9:05Speaker 6: Maybe it's they. Mama.
- 9:06Speaker 7: You know, I think of Tiger Woods and all the
- 9:08Speaker 7: greatness he's accomplished. You know, they always talk about his
- 9:11Speaker 7: father and all this. Here somebody somewhere praying for Tiger Woods.
- 9:16Speaker 7: I got cash money riding on that Tiger Woods. Mama
- 9:19Speaker 7: is a praying woman or something. My mother was. She
- 9:22Speaker 7: prayed me into this place because she used to call
- 9:24Speaker 7: me all the time praying for you, boy, and prayer
- 9:27Speaker 7: changes things. It really does. Try it today. It can
- 9:31Speaker 7: change you. It has changed millions of people. Open up
- 9:35Speaker 7: yourself to the greatness that's in you, because God is
- 9:38Speaker 7: giving you a gift matter fact that you ain't using it.
- 9:41Speaker 7: Who fought you think that is? I'm just telling you
- 9:43Speaker 7: you got one, and if you start praying about it,
- 9:47Speaker 7: it'll manifest itself and you can become one or two things,
- 9:51Speaker 7: successful or great or both. You can make the decision.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Today you're listening Morning show.
- 10:03Speaker 6: We gonna wake up, Rise and shine. It is Monday morning.
- 10:06Speaker 6: Uh high h h. It's Monday morning. That's right. It's

- 10:43Speaker 6: I can't. I can't reach back there like I used to.
- 10:46Speaker 6: It's just there. It's an area in the center that's
- 10:48Speaker 6: just dry. Idio idiot, it's just dry. Depending on how
- 10:52Speaker 6: your wife or your spouse feel, you might get some
- 10:55Speaker 6: lotion on it, you might not. It's just how it goes. Yeah,
- 10:58Speaker 6: that's that twenty three years the marriage right there, that's
- 11:01Speaker 6: what that is.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Twenty three twenty So that's about you and your back.
- 11:08Speaker 6: Yeah, from my back, that's all about you know. I
- 11:13Speaker 6: like a nice wide back.
- 11:14Speaker 1: I always said that. Yes, yes, I don't know why, but.
- 11:19Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't know why, but somebody whide back. It's

- 11:55Speaker 6: I'm gonna have it for you tomorrow. I'm gonna have
- 11:57Speaker 6: it for you tomorrow. Yes.
- 11:59Speaker 1: How did it go?
- 12:00Speaker 8: Uh?
- 12:01Speaker 6: It was a couple of takes, right, It was quite
- 12:08Speaker 6: a few takes, trying to get up there and start over. Yeah,
- 12:14Speaker 6: start over. But I ran all the way through the city,
- 12:17Speaker 6: passed by a bunch of things, a bunch of landmarks.
- 12:19Speaker 6: So y'all don't like it, y'all gonna like it.
- 12:22Speaker 1: So do you like living in the city of Brotherly Love?

- 13:50Speaker 1: It is time now for the nephew to run that
- 13:52Speaker 1: prank back. What you got for us?
- 13:53Speaker 6: Neft I left my ring, I left my ring, watch
- 13:58Speaker 6: me work.
- 13:58Speaker 11: Here we go along.
- 14:01Speaker 12: Hello, I'm trying to reach as or missus. Please all right,
- 14:07Speaker 12: my name is doctor. I'm actually trying to reach your husband, Clarence.
- 14:10Speaker 12: Is he Is he available? He'll college.
- 14:14Speaker 8: Uh.
- 14:14Speaker 11: Well, I'm actually the surgeon that actually did the procedure
- 14:17Speaker 11: on removing his gallstones. WHOA, Well, listen, there's a couple
- 14:21Speaker 11: little bit of things I want to discuss with you
- 14:23Speaker 11: guys and see if we can maybe get them rectified.
- 14:26Speaker 12: Is he around? Well?
- 14:30Speaker 11: What is in reckless?
- 14:32Speaker 12: Actually? Miss Actually, when we actually did the procedure on
- 14:35Speaker 12: your on your husband and removing the gallstones, I will
- 14:39Speaker 12: say that there's a bit of a mistake made and
- 14:41Speaker 12: I'm hoping that he can come back in so we
- 14:42Speaker 12: can kind of get it rectified. You know, it'll be
- 14:45Speaker 12: actually thirty minutes and he'll be in and out. But actually,
- 14:47Speaker 12: when I removed the gallstones, and I'm very embarrassed to
- 14:51Speaker 12: say this, I actually left my wedding ring inside your husband.
- 14:57Speaker 12: And I understand, man Donald, I say, I actually left
- 15:01Speaker 12: my wedding ring inside your husband when I actually removed
- 15:05Speaker 12: the gallstones. And I'm hoping that he'll come back in
- 15:08Speaker 12: so I can actually take it out and and and
- 15:10Speaker 12: he'll be on his way.
- 15:12Speaker 11: He's my bottom last boom.
- 15:29Speaker 12: Hello, Hello, Hello, mister. Yeah, how you doing this? Is doctor,
- 15:33Speaker 12: I actually did the surgery on you when you were
- 15:35Speaker 12: came in and got your gallstones removed. I remember you that.
- 15:39Speaker 12: I will say this, missus Clarence. I actually made a
- 15:41Speaker 12: bit of a mistake when you were here, and my
- 15:43Speaker 12: apology if I can actually get you to come back in, man,
- 15:47Speaker 12: I can get you taken care of. But and this
- 15:49Speaker 12: is just a big mistake on my part. But when
- 15:51Speaker 12: you guys came in and I removed your stones, I
- 15:54Speaker 12: actually left my wedding ring.
- 15:55Speaker 11: Inside inside of me.
- 15:57Speaker 12: Yeah, yes, sir, your wedding ring.
- 16:00Speaker 11: Sir.
- 16:01Speaker 12: I know this is crazy, but yes, I have truly
- 16:04Speaker 12: made a mistake and wanted to see if I can
- 16:05Speaker 12: get this thing rectified and get this thing taken out.
- 16:08Speaker 12: And I tell you, man, I've been without my ring
- 16:11Speaker 12: and my wife is raising holy hell about it. Yeah,
- 16:14Speaker 12: but you know something about that we got a problem with.
- 16:17Speaker 12: What do you mean I mean, I'm about to go
- 16:19Speaker 12: back to work. I really can't be going back into
- 16:21Speaker 12: the operating room for somebody to take a ring out
- 16:24Speaker 12: of me that they left that they left by mistake.
- 16:27Speaker 11: You know what I'm saying. Okay, I realized your wife.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Might be upsetting.
- 16:31Speaker 11: You need your ring, But at this point that ring's
- 16:34Speaker 11: gonna have to stay where it is for a while.
- 16:35Speaker 12: So I can't iron if we can't allow but that
- 16:38Speaker 12: ring to stay there another two or three days. I
- 16:40Speaker 12: don't think you understand exactly what I'm going through. There's
- 16:42Speaker 12: no way I can allow that. Well, yeah, I got
- 16:45Speaker 12: to go back to work. But you know something, I mean,
- 16:47Speaker 12: you know, I mean, you know we're talking about a bad, bad,
- 16:50Speaker 12: serious problem. You know we're talking about malpractice.
- 16:53Speaker 11: I mean you know we're talking about me taking out
- 16:54Speaker 11: more time and work when I'm ready to go back.
- 16:56Speaker 11: I mean, you know we're talking lawsuit, all kinds of
- 16:58Speaker 11: stuff here.
- 16:59Speaker 2: We need to get to.
- 17:00Speaker 11: Yes, can you hear me that?
- 17:01Speaker 8: No?
- 17:01Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah, Okay, my wife's a upset too. I mean,
- 17:09Speaker 11: you know I can't get back on an operating tape, cirt.
- 17:12Speaker 12: This won't take the seconds it's actually for me to
- 17:14Speaker 12: snip that thing and get that ring out of there.
- 17:16Speaker 12: It won't take but a minute. I mean, you still
- 17:18Speaker 12: have the same incisions there. I can go right back
- 17:20Speaker 12: into what the same scar was and take that out
- 17:23Speaker 12: and keep it moving on, go.
- 17:24Speaker 11: Back into the same if you're going to operate again.
- 17:26Speaker 11: If you cut me, oh sure, I promise you that
- 17:29Speaker 11: you won't even know I was there.
- 17:30Speaker 12: I'll go in there and take that ring out, just
- 17:31Speaker 12: that quick one.
- 17:32Speaker 11: Okay, but let me ask you this.
- 17:35Speaker 2: My wife.
- 17:35Speaker 11: My wife is about to go crazy. I'm pretty I'm
- 17:38Speaker 11: a pretty good guy here, but I mean, you know
- 17:40Speaker 11: you got left ring in me. I mean, you know,
- 17:42Speaker 11: do you all have math practice? That shirts and turn
- 17:44Speaker 11: We have plenty of insurance, you know. It's really more
- 17:47Speaker 11: about what I'm going through at home. So I'm doing this,
- 17:50Speaker 11: but you yeah, pretty much here at this point.
- 17:52Speaker 12: I mean, no one actually from the hospital actually knows
- 17:54Speaker 12: what I'm actually calling you. Wow, you know, I mean,
- 17:58Speaker 12: that's the big, big problem. Said something about malpractic Now,
- 18:01Speaker 12: I didn't say anything about malpractice. You guys actually said that.
- 18:04Speaker 12: I didn't say anything.
- 18:05Speaker 11: Okay, now let me oh, okay, hold on now dash
- 18:10Speaker 11: hold on. Uh well, now, let me ask you this here.
- 18:13Speaker 11: Every time I've heard of somebody leaving something inside of somebody,
- 18:16Speaker 11: you know, it usually end up being a situation where
- 18:18Speaker 11: it sets up infections or stuff.
- 18:20Speaker 12: Well, that's that's eighteen carre Go. That's not gonna infect
- 18:23Speaker 12: you at all.
- 18:24Speaker 11: Yeah, I understand what you're saying, but good grief. I mean,

- 21:07Speaker 1: Lee has passed away after battling pancreatic cancer. Will highlight
- 21:11Speaker 1: her life and her legacy. Also, Janet Jackson asked an
- 21:16Speaker 1: interviewer to stop asking her question. Huh, okay's ring right now?
- 21:24Speaker 6: Don't answer all.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Right, and a question for you? Were you were you
- 21:31Speaker 1: guys affected at all by the massive Microsoft outage over
- 21:36Speaker 1: the weekend. That is all coming up. I was. That
- 21:39Speaker 1: is all coming up at the top of the hour.
- 21:41Speaker 1: But right now it is time to ask the Riddlow
- 21:44Speaker 1: and Junior. This is from George and the DMV. George says,
- 21:48Speaker 1: I'm divorced because get this. I'm divorced because I was
- 21:52Speaker 1: dating my wife's sister for the last few years of
- 21:55Speaker 1: my marriage. The sister called and asked to have a
- 21:58Speaker 1: threesome with my ex wife. My ex wife is all
- 22:01Speaker 1: for it, but it seems too scandalous even for me.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Should I do it or not?
- 22:07Speaker 9: What?
- 22:08Speaker 8: What?
- 22:10Speaker 1: So he was dating her for the last years of
- 22:13Speaker 1: their marriage, So he's divorced now. Then the sister in
- 22:17Speaker 1: law called sister called and asked them to have a
- 22:21Speaker 1: threesome with who with with him and his ex wife.
- 22:28Speaker 1: The ex wife is all forward for it, for it,
- 22:32Speaker 1: so the ex.
- 22:32Speaker 15: Wife he ain't got nothing to lose, right, he's already
- 22:36Speaker 15: divorced and lost it all.
- 22:38Speaker 1: Ain't it that far?
- 22:40Speaker 2: Tom?
- 22:41Speaker 6: I mean you might we're going get in what you pity.
- 22:44Speaker 6: You might be getting in what you pity.
- 22:47Speaker 2: Or not.
- 22:47Speaker 6: So you say, don't know turned down, No. Three, don't
- 22:50Speaker 6: know how to do that. I don't know how to
- 22:53Speaker 6: do this. And we all know each other too, I mean, hey,
- 22:55Speaker 6: we all comfortable, come on, move around? What do you
- 22:58Speaker 6: think all? What are they? What it is?
- 23:01Speaker 9: So they do threesomes with relatives not sisters exactly.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Turning anything down.
- 23:11Speaker 6: It's three, okay, it's three.
- 23:14Speaker 9: She's doing a threesome with her sister sister husband, which
- 23:20Speaker 9: is her current man.
- 23:22Speaker 6: Am I getting that correct?
- 23:23Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 23:23Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 23:24Speaker 1: If there's still I.
- 23:25Speaker 6: Don't understand why we got to relativize here. What difference
- 23:29Speaker 6: the relatives?
- 23:32Speaker 1: That's why we didn't do it. They did.
- 23:36Speaker 6: Listen, sometimes family gotta come together. You know what I'm saying.
- 23:39Speaker 6: I mean, it is what it is?
- 23:41Speaker 8: What?
- 23:42Speaker 6: What is it?
- 23:43Speaker 8: What?
- 23:44Speaker 6: Wrong?
- 23:45Speaker 1: I don't even have a voice, so I can't even
- 23:47Speaker 1: speak on it. Get out of here.
- 23:51Speaker 6: You can't do no threesome like that.
- 23:54Speaker 3: It's two sisters, that's all I know.
- 23:56Speaker 2: There sis.
- 24:00Speaker 1: Your party too much wrong. We got this these sisters.
- 24:07Speaker 10: You can't do this with your sisters.
- 24:09Speaker 6: I can't do you all morning long. That's what I
- 24:12Speaker 6: can't do. Your nerves.
- 24:15Speaker 1: In this fourthsome?
- 24:18Speaker 6: Who is the guy whispering this? This sound like we're
- 24:21Speaker 6: doing something wrong? Not go ahead and great birthday weekend?
- 24:25Speaker 6: Get out of here.
- 24:26Speaker 1: We're moving on. We're moving on to Christine and Detroit.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Christine says, I'll be forty soon, and my longtime boyfriend
- 24:33Speaker 1: is pressuring me to get married. He cheated on me
- 24:36Speaker 1: a few times, so I get anxiety when he mentions marriage.
- 24:40Speaker 1: He asks if a wedding will keep uh he? He
- 24:43Speaker 1: asks us, if a wedding will keep him from cheating?
- 24:45Speaker 1: Should I trust him and get married? Uh?
- 24:49Speaker 6: Ahead? Why is he your boyfriend? Why still your boyfriend?
- 24:54Speaker 3: Yes?
- 24:55Speaker 6: We shouldn't even be talking about marriage. You need to
- 24:57Speaker 6: go celebrate your faulty by yourself. Why we were about him?
- 25:01Speaker 6: This should have been over with. You're trying to get
- 25:04Speaker 6: a reasoning out of this. You're trying to get some
- 25:05Speaker 6: understanding that if you want to walk down the aisle
- 25:08Speaker 6: with this guy. Listen, ain't nothing one of y'all ready
- 25:11Speaker 6: to love right now? A man one of y'all ready
- 25:14Speaker 6: to love? Yeah, I got to gonna keep it real.
- 25:18Speaker 6: Neither one of you all are ready to love. He
- 25:20Speaker 6: can't stop cheating, and is if if the marriage gonna
- 25:23Speaker 6: help him stop doing No, it's not gonna help. You're
- 25:26Speaker 6: just gonna do it more. Job, get out. You should
- 25:29Speaker 6: have been out. That's ready to love, man, That's really,
- 25:32Speaker 6: that's really. That's the really though.
- 25:33Speaker 1: Right there, and this is a red flag that women
- 25:37Speaker 1: often seem to ignore. It's right here don't do it.
- 25:41Speaker 6: Yeah, we'd be sweety seeing the flag. We be asking somebody,
- 25:44Speaker 6: women be asking people about the flag. They be waving
- 25:47Speaker 6: the flag and still want to answer about the flag.
- 25:50Speaker 6: You got the flag?
- 25:53Speaker 9: I mean the flags sometimes for us ladies, it's it's
- 25:57Speaker 9: as big as the super Bowl flag, you know it had.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, with the rest, big old fla great, big
- 26:04Speaker 1: old flag.
- 26:07Speaker 9: It Yeah, I'm talking about that one, Shirley, the national
- 26:10Speaker 9: anthem one.
- 26:11Speaker 1: The fee giant. But but you know what, we always
- 26:16Speaker 1: think we can change a man. We can't do we
- 26:19Speaker 1: can We always think that, Yeah, don't do it. Don't
- 26:22Speaker 1: do it. Christine and Detroit moving on to Journey in Nashville.
- 26:26Speaker 1: Journey says, I recently turned twenty one and moved out
- 26:29Speaker 1: of my mom's house because I had sex with her boyfriend.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Come on, you're doing that? Steve talks about h She says,
- 26:42Speaker 1: he's only eleven years older than I am, so he's
- 26:44Speaker 1: better suited for me. My mom is still angry at
- 26:48Speaker 1: me over how things turn out. Why can't she let
- 26:50Speaker 1: it go?
- 26:51Speaker 6: That's your mama, man, How can you disrespect your mama
- 26:54Speaker 6: like this? You don't even value your mama? Yeah, mom, Yeah, mama, Mama,
- 27:01Speaker 6: your mama. Really, this is that, this is this is unacceptable.
- 27:06Speaker 6: You have completely crossed the line. You really need to
- 27:08Speaker 6: go back and get your relationship together with your mama.
- 27:10Speaker 6: You need to let this man go and go back
- 27:12Speaker 6: and apologize to your mama for the things that you
- 27:14Speaker 6: have done. You have just really soiled the relationship between
- 27:17Speaker 6: you and your mama. You need to fix that. Come on, man,
- 27:21Speaker 6: that you ain't ready to love. You ain't ready to
- 27:25Speaker 6: love your mama. Man, you ain't ready to love He
- 27:29Speaker 6: mama right should have. There's some love between mama and daughters.
- 27:35Speaker 6: But you did this, yeah, and you want to blame
- 27:38Speaker 6: it on eleven years? Is the difference that that?
- 27:41Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 27:42Speaker 6: Yeah, he closer than me. He ain't close. It's your mama, man,
- 27:45Speaker 6: leave your mama man alone. She doesn't damn mama's can't
- 27:48Speaker 6: have nothing.
- 27:50Speaker 1: This is craziness right here.
- 27:52Speaker 9: And he's trifling with the mother and the daughter.
- 27:57Speaker 6: So what kind of man? He low down?
- 28:00Speaker 1: He's ridiculous for sure, and she ridiculous both of y'all. Yes, yea,
- 28:07Speaker 1: even though you're twenty one, you should still know better
- 28:10Speaker 1: than this. It's your mind.
- 28:12Speaker 6: And let me say that, Junior, you're gonna do. You're
- 28:14Speaker 6: gonna work this morning. You're gonna do some sign language
- 28:16Speaker 6: or something. I'm gonna let people know you silent, but
- 28:18Speaker 6: you're gonna do something that's morn.
- 28:20Speaker 1: I can't see that. You can't do it. It might come,
- 28:23Speaker 1: it might come back as the morning where it's going.
- 28:25Speaker 6: It ain't gonna it ain't coming back. You ain't. It
- 28:28Speaker 6: ain't gonna be here tomorrow.
- 28:30Speaker 2: Great, right now?
- 28:32Speaker 6: I know, damn well, I'm doing great. I got this
- 28:34Speaker 6: my office. Show you what you ain't doing great? That's
- 28:37Speaker 6: what ain't doing.
- 28:39Speaker 1: He's partying you ain't.
- 28:40Speaker 6: You know you ain't ready to talk.
- 28:42Speaker 1: You had those weekends when you were partying. Remember essence,
- 28:45Speaker 1: because you.
- 28:47Speaker 6: Remember that, so.
- 28:49Speaker 1: Don't go on them too hard.
- 28:53Speaker 6: We remember I was an incredible host that they back
- 28:58Speaker 6: in the day.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Boy until you could a new edition. All right, Thanks Riddelo,
- 29:06Speaker 1: Thanks Junior. Well you're gonna have to go. You're listening.
- 29:17Speaker 10: Harby Morning Show.
- 29:20Speaker 6: Joining us this morning is Emmy Award winning journalist and
- 29:23Speaker 6: best selling author. He's also a longtime family member of
- 29:26Speaker 6: The Steve Hobby Morning Show. Recently, he sat with President
- 29:29Speaker 6: Biden for a great one on one interview. Before Biden
- 29:32Speaker 6: withdrew from this year's presidential race and endorsed Vice President
- 29:36Speaker 6: Kamala Harris as a Democratic candidate for presidents. Let's get
- 29:40Speaker 6: more insight on what's going on with this year's election.
- 29:42Speaker 6: Please welcome a family member, O Boyd one and only,
- 29:45Speaker 6: mister Ed Gordon.
- 29:48Speaker 2: Good morning, y'all, Good morning, Good morning.
- 29:53Speaker 6: Is it a good morning?
- 29:54Speaker 8: Ed?
- 29:55Speaker 6: Is it a good one?
- 29:56Speaker 2: You gotta be. We woke up, But we about to fight.
- 30:02Speaker 6: All right, man, Let's get down to it, brother, I mean,
- 30:04Speaker 6: everything that's going on, everything that you've seen. What position
- 30:09Speaker 6: do you think we're really in right now as a
- 30:11Speaker 6: Democratic park?
- 30:13Speaker 2: Well, it really is a fight coming up. There's no
- 30:16Speaker 2: question about it, you know. I interviewed the President Biden
- 30:19Speaker 2: last Tuesday. He received a warm reception. It was at
- 30:24Speaker 2: the NAACP convention. He received a warm reception there. He
- 30:29Speaker 2: had received a warm reception in Detroit prior to that.
- 30:34Speaker 2: Here's the interesting part. I think on Tuesday he fully
- 30:38Speaker 2: believed that he was going to stay in this race
- 30:42Speaker 2: and was going to fight this out. So between Tuesday
- 30:45Speaker 2: of last week and yesterday, that's when the decisions were made.
- 30:51Speaker 2: On Friday, there was a lot of buzz I was
- 30:53Speaker 2: in Washington. A lot of buzz about him stepping away,
- 30:57Speaker 2: but again as a Friday, I think he believe it.
- 31:00Speaker 2: But when he got COVID, it allowed him to really
- 31:05Speaker 2: sit with himself. He wasn't out there. These people started
- 31:08Speaker 2: talking to him, and I think they convinced him that
- 31:10Speaker 2: there was no way he was going to be able
- 31:12Speaker 2: to win. Now, let's take it to where we sit today.
- 31:17Speaker 2: It's not a foregone conclusion that Kamala Harris is going
- 31:19Speaker 2: to be the nominee. Right, she still has to get
- 31:24Speaker 2: the delegates. It's not a plug and play. There's a
- 31:28Speaker 2: lot that has to happen between now and I think
- 31:31Speaker 2: it's one hundred and nine days we're at or somewhere
- 31:34Speaker 2: in there. So look, y'all, if we are going to
- 31:39Speaker 2: move this nation forward and make sure that we do
- 31:42Speaker 2: not see another four years of Donald Trump, we're going
- 31:44Speaker 2: to have to see historic mobilization of the black vote.
- 31:48Speaker 2: I think the black vote is going to determine this election.
- 31:53Speaker 2: Black women have already, as of yesterday, started mobilizing sorority.
- 32:00Speaker 2: You have already started to raise millions of dollars as
- 32:04Speaker 2: of yesterday. Within twenty four hours, forty to fifty million
- 32:08Speaker 2: dollars already put on the table. So it's going to
- 32:12Speaker 2: be an extraordinary efforts, y'all. It's a big fight. It's
- 32:15Speaker 2: not going to be easy. It's not a four done conclusion.
- 32:18Speaker 2: But I'm going to assume that she is going to
- 32:21Speaker 2: be the nominated and ed.
- 32:24Speaker 1: That's one of the reasons, you know, we were at
- 32:29Speaker 1: least I was. I was very sad when the President
- 32:31Speaker 1: made that announcement that he was dropping out of the race.
- 32:35Speaker 1: But what was you know, after you think about it,
- 32:38Speaker 1: what was great about it? He, unlike the other party,
- 32:41Speaker 1: put party, put people over party, and he said he
- 32:45Speaker 1: did what was best for the country and for the party,
- 32:49Speaker 1: for the Democratic Party, and which means his thought process
- 32:54Speaker 1: was we got to beat Donald Trump no matter what.
- 32:58Speaker 1: And if I can't beat him, I'm getting out of
- 33:00Speaker 1: the race. And I loved you know, when you look
- 33:03Speaker 1: at it from that perspective, it makes it all make sense.
- 33:07Speaker 2: And it's a hard day for him yesterday. He worked
- 33:10Speaker 2: his entire life to become the president of the United States.
- 33:16Speaker 2: For him to walk away must be heart wrenching for him.
- 33:21Speaker 2: And I'm gonna tell you what else. I know that
- 33:24Speaker 2: he's going to sit back and wonder why some of
- 33:27Speaker 2: these people turn tail and jump ship as quickly as
- 33:30Speaker 2: they did, And many of them were concerned about their
- 33:34Speaker 2: own livelihood. They thought, if in fact he loses, he's
- 33:37Speaker 2: going to drag the race down and the down ballot,
- 33:39Speaker 2: as we call it down. I'm gonna tell you guys,
- 33:43Speaker 2: historically he will be looked back, looked upon. I should say,
- 33:48Speaker 2: as you suggested there, Shirley, that he did something for
- 33:51Speaker 2: the country and put the personal thing aside. But that's
- 33:55Speaker 2: down the line right now. Again, we have a fight
- 33:58Speaker 2: because if Donald Trump went and I normally don't say this.
- 34:03Speaker 2: You know, politics is politics, and you may not like
- 34:06Speaker 2: the person in the office, and you've got to struggle
- 34:08Speaker 2: through four years of policy you may not agree with, right,
- 34:11Speaker 2: but this thing is completely different. I know people have
- 34:14Speaker 2: heard about Project twenty twenty five. It's been talked about
- 34:18Speaker 2: a lot. I would encourage you to make sure that
- 34:20Speaker 2: you just don't say, oh yeah, project twenty twenty five, Yeah, yeah,
- 34:24Speaker 2: that's bad. Find out what it's really about. It's a
- 34:27Speaker 2: nine hundred page document. Nobody's going to read the nine
- 34:30Speaker 2: hundred pages. I'm not asking you to do that. Find
- 34:33Speaker 2: some articles see what's in there. Look, if they could
- 34:37Speaker 2: put y'all back and change, we'd all be locked up.
- 34:40Speaker 2: I'm telling you it's real, it's the truth. They've already
- 34:44Speaker 2: told you what they're.
- 34:45Speaker 8: Going to do.
- 34:47Speaker 6: What what what? What are some of the things that
- 34:49Speaker 6: stand out to you ed in this project twenty twenty
- 34:52Speaker 6: five that we need to really add here to.
- 34:55Speaker 2: Well, let's let's let's look at an easy one. Right,
- 34:58Speaker 2: you've been hearing about this whole dismantling of THEE and I,
- 35:01Speaker 2: this sense of not being able to teach black history
- 35:06Speaker 2: in schools. Right, we all have heard about that. That's easy.
- 35:10Speaker 2: They want to eliminate the Department of Education as a
- 35:12Speaker 2: for instance. If you eliminate the Department of Education, there's
- 35:17Speaker 2: nobody to really oversee what's taught in schools in the
- 35:21Speaker 2: way that has been done for decades now, which means
- 35:26Speaker 2: that the states will be free to run rampant and
- 35:29Speaker 2: really start to teach anything that they want. They've already
- 35:34Speaker 2: told you that's not what we want to hear. They
- 35:39Speaker 2: are putting things in place. They're eliminating D and I programs.
- 35:43Speaker 2: They've started with States Rights down in Texas as a
- 35:47Speaker 2: for instance, the dismantling of D and I and higher
- 35:50Speaker 2: education is extraordinary.
- 35:52Speaker 10: Hey, Ed, can we.
- 35:53Speaker 1: Just stop right here and take a break and come back. Absolutely,
- 35:56Speaker 1: we'll do that. We'll be back with more of Ed
- 35:59Speaker 1: Gordon on this Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 36:02Speaker 10: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 36:05Speaker 6: Welcome back. We are still here with our special guest,
- 36:08Speaker 6: mister Ed Gordon, and we are right in the middle
- 36:11Speaker 6: of talking about changing of the guards with now Ms
- 36:14Speaker 6: Kamala is the front runner for the presidency and when
- 36:18Speaker 6: we left, you were talking about Project twenty twenty five.
- 36:21Speaker 2: And you know, just very quickly, it's just an effort
- 36:24Speaker 2: to turn back the clock to eliminate all of the
- 36:27Speaker 2: games that we've seen as a people. You know, I
- 36:32Speaker 2: sometimes think we get too in the weeds with politics
- 36:35Speaker 2: and people kind of turned off. So just think about
- 36:37Speaker 2: it as an opportunity for Trump and his cronies to
- 36:43Speaker 2: turn back many of the games that we've seen and
- 36:46Speaker 2: it will really cripple African Americans, brown folk women, et cetera.
- 36:54Speaker 2: It's real. And for people who say it won't matter,
- 36:58Speaker 2: it doesn't matter who I vote for, you know that's
- 37:01Speaker 2: saying that around and find out.
- 37:06Speaker 1: You got to find out, right.
- 37:11Speaker 6: You know, the big question on the table now is,
- 37:13Speaker 6: of course we want we want Kamala to be to
- 37:16Speaker 6: be definitely the person that's chosen. Who would you suggest
- 37:20Speaker 6: what strengthen her by being her vice president too?
- 37:23Speaker 2: Yeah, that's sixty four thousand dollars question, ain't it. You
- 37:26Speaker 2: know you got to figure that it's got to be
- 37:28Speaker 2: geographic because we're really down to about six or seven states.
- 37:32Speaker 2: It's going to put this over the top. Again. Not
- 37:34Speaker 2: could give a political lesson, but it's really about the
- 37:38Speaker 2: electoral college, which I wish they would get rid of. Right,
- 37:41Speaker 2: So some states are already taken care of. Democrats are
- 37:44Speaker 2: going to win, you know, California without a doubt, New
- 37:47Speaker 2: York without a doubt. So those are already in the bank.
- 37:50Speaker 2: It's Michigan, it's Pennsylvania, It's Georgia's Arizona. There are a
- 37:54Speaker 2: number of states, about six or seven of them, so
- 37:56Speaker 2: you think that they're going to be one of the
- 37:59Speaker 2: largest states. Shapiro out of Pennsylvania is being talked about exactly.
- 38:05Speaker 2: Gretchen Whitmer out of my state of Michigan. I do
- 38:08Speaker 2: not think this country is ready for two women. Quite
- 38:10Speaker 2: frankly sadly to say, so you wonder about her. A
- 38:14Speaker 2: lot of African Americans are talking about Wes Moore out
- 38:17Speaker 2: of Maryland. I just don't think he's well enough, well
- 38:21Speaker 2: enough known yet, but look for him in twenty twenty eight,
- 38:26Speaker 2: unless Kamala Harris decides to go two terms. Temmy, it's
- 38:30Speaker 2: a hard one because it's also something that's going to
- 38:33Speaker 2: be played. Politics is going to be one of those
- 38:36Speaker 2: things in the back room like they used to do,
- 38:38Speaker 2: starting to decide who's going to be a part of
- 38:41Speaker 2: that ticket that's going to come into play in a
- 38:44Speaker 2: way that we have not seen in the last three
- 38:46Speaker 2: or four elections. So I wish I had a crystal
- 38:49Speaker 2: ball and could give you an exact name that I
- 38:51Speaker 2: really know. But I think geographically is going to be
- 38:54Speaker 2: the biggest question, and I don't think it's going to
- 38:56Speaker 2: be somebody who's really liberal like Gavin Newsom out of
- 38:59Speaker 2: californ on you. So it's going to be an interesting,
- 39:02Speaker 2: you know, four months or whatever we got left. But again,
- 39:05Speaker 2: I encourage African Americans, raise your voice, tell people, call
- 39:10Speaker 2: your congress people, let them know what you want to hear,
- 39:12Speaker 2: who you want to see, what you want to do
- 39:15Speaker 2: and really get involved in a way that you haven't.
- 39:17Speaker 2: It's gonna be about vote voter turnout this go round period.
- 39:20Speaker 6: So let's do let's do this. We're gonna put a
- 39:22Speaker 6: pen in it. We're gonna come back and pick up
- 39:24Speaker 6: right where we left off. Man, we'll be back right.
- 39:25Speaker 10: After you're listening morning showing.
- 39:29Speaker 6: We are back. We'll still hear with our special guests.
- 39:32Speaker 6: I want and only Ed Gordon, Emmy Award winning best
- 39:35Speaker 6: inder author, our friend, and he has giving us plenty
- 39:37Speaker 6: of insight on everything. Everything everybody's talking about right now.
- 39:41Speaker 6: The by Biden stepping down, Kamala has actually been endorsed
- 39:47Speaker 6: by President President Biden. And and here we are. So
- 39:51Speaker 6: my last question was you know who would be the
- 39:53Speaker 6: who would be the vice president that she would choose
- 39:55Speaker 6: if she gets the if she gets the nod, And
- 39:58Speaker 6: my my phone is blowing up, the TV blowing up
- 40:00Speaker 6: all over the country. This is all we're hearing. I
- 40:02Speaker 6: guess the biggest thing, Man, do we have enough time
- 40:04Speaker 6: to do it?
- 40:05Speaker 8: Ed?
- 40:05Speaker 6: Can we really pull it off?
- 40:07Speaker 2: I don't know. I certainly hope. So it's going to
- 40:10Speaker 2: be a stretch. If we're being honest, but at the
- 40:13Speaker 2: end of the day, and I was saying this before
- 40:14Speaker 2: we hit the brake, it's gonna be about voter turnout.
- 40:17Speaker 2: You know, Democrats are going to have to do what
- 40:19Speaker 2: they do. They don't always do it well dot I
- 40:22Speaker 2: crossed t's They're going to have to do this. I
- 40:23Speaker 2: was with Stacey Abrams the other day and she was
- 40:26Speaker 2: saying that, you know, you got to keep a watch
- 40:28Speaker 2: because you want to make sure that no states are
- 40:30Speaker 2: going to pull some you know, something crazy and say, well,
- 40:33Speaker 2: she didn't have enough time to put her name on
- 40:35Speaker 2: the ballot. There are all kinds of things that could happen.
- 40:38Speaker 2: But what we have to understand is, particularly in those
- 40:41Speaker 2: states Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Nevada, what we call these
- 40:47Speaker 2: purple states, it's going to be about voter turnout. Democrats
- 40:51Speaker 2: are going to have to get get out there. You know,
- 40:53Speaker 2: we need to hold old fish fries and get the
- 40:56Speaker 2: vands and buses ready and get.
- 40:58Speaker 8: People to the polls.
- 41:00Speaker 2: And you know, we have to vote like we never have.
- 41:03Speaker 2: And it's became cliche. You know, this election is the
- 41:06Speaker 2: most important in your lifetime. We've been saying that for
- 41:08Speaker 2: a while some people buying, some people don't this time,
- 41:12Speaker 2: no joke. It's really real. It's real real, And you
- 41:16Speaker 2: know I don't normally like to ring alarm bells. I'm
- 41:19Speaker 2: pretty calm and cool down the line. The house is
- 41:23Speaker 2: on fire, y'all.
- 41:24Speaker 6: Yeah, So there's a group that I'm that I'm really
- 41:30Speaker 6: hoping we can we can actually get them out. How
- 41:32Speaker 6: do we get our young adults, the college kids. How
- 41:35Speaker 6: do we get these kids for this to be important
- 41:38Speaker 6: to them, to get them to the polls, to come
- 41:40Speaker 6: out and vote, because they got numbers that we need.
- 41:43Speaker 2: To sit and talk to them and tell them why
- 41:45Speaker 2: we complain about them too often. All them young kids,
- 41:49Speaker 2: they don't do blah blah blah blah blah. Oh them millennials,
- 41:52Speaker 2: you know, y'all, like we wasn't like that when we
- 41:54Speaker 2: were younger.
- 41:55Speaker 6: We were we were just like we were probably worse.
- 41:58Speaker 1: That's worse because we didn't have social media.
- 42:01Speaker 2: They didn't come with some different DNA. They're young period.
- 42:05Speaker 2: You know, social media has made it harder on them.
- 42:09Speaker 2: They face some problems. You know we didn't, but every
- 42:13Speaker 2: new generation faces new problems. It's really educating them. You know,
- 42:18Speaker 2: there are a lot of them that knew nothing about
- 42:20Speaker 2: the civil rights movement, knew nothing about the trials and
- 42:23Speaker 2: tribulations of black people. They just thought it was cool
- 42:26Speaker 2: from get go. And I understand that because they weren't
- 42:30Speaker 2: born back then and they weren't taught the struggles that
- 42:32Speaker 2: we've had. So it's really about sitting down with them
- 42:37Speaker 2: and letting them know why it's important to vote. And
- 42:40Speaker 2: listen very quickly, I'm sorry, but I understand why they
- 42:44Speaker 2: are disillusioned by politics. You know, politicians and I'm including
- 42:49Speaker 2: Democrats in this, haven't always done what they were supposed
- 42:53Speaker 2: to do. And look, y'all, Michelle, Obama ain't gonna be
- 42:57Speaker 2: the vice president. So let's le let's stay in the
- 43:02Speaker 2: real world, right and get this in the real world
- 43:06Speaker 2: and get this done. So let's talk to your young
- 43:09Speaker 2: people and get them out, definitely.
- 43:11Speaker 6: And I was about to say a lot of these
- 43:13Speaker 6: young kids, like my son when he was born, Barack
- 43:16Speaker 6: Obama with president you know what I mean, You don't
- 43:18Speaker 6: know nothing else?
- 43:20Speaker 2: Yeah, and listen, you know what else? They've never known
- 43:22Speaker 2: if they're thirty and under, and particularly if they're twenty
- 43:26Speaker 2: five and under, they've only known the dysfunctional world. Think
- 43:30Speaker 2: about all they've lived through pandemic wars Trump, so to
- 43:35Speaker 2: have a dysfunctional president once again is part of the
- 43:38Speaker 2: course for them. We haven't been teaching them. Some of
- 43:41Speaker 2: this ain't ain't right, y'all. You know life, life shouldn't
- 43:46Speaker 2: be this way.
- 43:47Speaker 1: That's right, right, that's right.
- 43:49Speaker 6: Well, Hey, we want to say thank you man for
- 43:51Speaker 6: timing in this morning. We appreciate you. Brother, always a
- 43:54Speaker 6: family member, always welcome, and we always always want to
- 43:57Speaker 6: hear your insight on what's going on. Man, So we
- 43:59Speaker 6: greatly appreciate you stopping here.
- 44:01Speaker 2: I love y'all. Man, I appreciate it. Let's get out,
- 44:05Speaker 2: that's right.
- 44:05Speaker 6: Get the voting, early vote too.
- 44:07Speaker 2: You could do that in many states early voting.
- 44:10Speaker 6: That's true, right, bus is fish fries, barbecues, whatever we
- 44:14Speaker 6: got to do.
- 44:16Speaker 1: All right, ed, we thank you. We'll have more of
- 44:18Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up right after this.
- 44:21Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at about
- 44:26Speaker 1: four minutes after the hour. It's my Strawberry letter for today,
- 44:29Speaker 1: and the subject is if he's going, I'm going to
- 44:32Speaker 1: all right, we'll get into that, find out what that's
- 44:34Speaker 1: all about. They're going somewhere. We do know that we'll
- 44:38Speaker 1: find out in just a few because right now it
- 44:40Speaker 1: is time for the nephew and today's prank phone call. Nephew,
- 44:44Speaker 1: what you got for us?
- 44:45Speaker 6: This right here is Shirley. This goes out to all
- 44:47Speaker 6: those cheerleader moms, cheerleader dad's, cheerleader parents. This goes out
- 44:52Speaker 6: to you all. You know, I was a cheerleader dad.
- 44:54Speaker 6: We was chellider parents for quite some time with Sitney.
- 44:57Speaker 6: And this right here is called bottom of the pyramid.
- 45:02Speaker 6: Bottom of the pyramid. Okay, everybody can't be on top.
- 45:07Speaker 6: Everybody can be a flyer. You understand what I'm saying.
- 45:09Speaker 6: You gotta have that base down now. Okay, you know
- 45:12Speaker 6: they're a little thicker.
- 45:13Speaker 1: Nah, careful, careful.
- 45:16Speaker 6: It is not the right word, the stronger. Well, look
- 45:21Speaker 6: at it this way. They can't fly. Okay, they can't fly. Okay,
- 45:26Speaker 6: everybody can't fly.
- 45:27Speaker 9: You're canceled by you.
- 45:31Speaker 6: But they know what they know. And chip chill parents
- 45:35Speaker 6: are the worst that y'all. Y'all go in hard boy
- 45:37Speaker 6: at the competition, y'all something else. Y'all know how to
- 45:39Speaker 6: just sit down and just watch the entertainment. No, you
- 45:43Speaker 6: scream and you're Holly. You scared the hell out your
- 45:45Speaker 6: kids and for you dads out there. They can't tie
- 45:48Speaker 6: that ribbon in that hair, right, Stop trying to do that.
- 45:51Speaker 6: You're not good at that. They get that boat right, yeah,
- 45:58Speaker 6: if that boat hit the ground, we didn't lost some point.
- 46:00Speaker 6: That's right here, bottom of the peero of men. Let's
- 46:04Speaker 6: go get.
- 46:12Speaker 8: Hello, Hello, Hello, Hello, yeah, can you hear me? I'm
- 46:19Speaker 8: trying to reach Angela.
- 46:20Speaker 13: Angela on just a second, let me count it down. Okay, Hi,
- 46:26Speaker 13: who're you trying to reach?
- 46:27Speaker 8: I'm trying to reach Angela? This Angela? Oh yeah, this
- 46:30Speaker 8: see Hi Angela. This is Chip Chip. I'm the new
- 46:34Speaker 8: camp director for the cheerleading camp for the summer.
- 46:36Speaker 13: Oh hi, Chip, what kind of do for you?
- 46:38Speaker 8: Just want to give you a courtesy call your daughter?
- 46:40Speaker 8: You've got her signed up for four weeks with the camp,
- 46:44Speaker 8: right yeah, yeah, this is you guys. Third year being
- 46:47Speaker 8: a part of the.
- 46:48Speaker 2: Camp, yep.
- 46:49Speaker 13: And she's really excited. She loves coming to the camp
- 46:51Speaker 13: and we think it's a great things to be involved in.
- 46:54Speaker 2: What's up? Okay?
- 46:55Speaker 8: You guys just finished the whole cheerleading season too, am I? Right?
- 46:58Speaker 8: The competition seasons coming off of it, right, right, Okay, Well,
- 47:03Speaker 8: we're getting ready for the summer and everybody's excited about
- 47:05Speaker 8: coming out and being a part of what's going on.
- 47:07Speaker 8: So here's what I wanted to give you a little bit.
- 47:10Speaker 8: Like I said, I'm the new camp director. I was
- 47:13Speaker 8: just starting at this job. I got a few notes
- 47:15Speaker 8: that were given to me about so I wanted to
- 47:20Speaker 8: give you a call and see if I could talk
- 47:21Speaker 8: to you about it.
- 47:22Speaker 13: A few notes giving you about.
- 47:24Speaker 8: Yeah, just a couple of notes. I don't think it's
- 47:25Speaker 8: anything that we can make sure is okay, what kind
- 47:28Speaker 8: of notes. Well, it's been brought to my attention that
- 47:30Speaker 8: some of the parents whose daughters are out there as well,
- 47:33Speaker 8: there's going to be there this summer a little concerned
- 47:36Speaker 8: about her being on top of the pyramid, that she's
- 47:42Speaker 8: is a little bit heavy.
- 47:43Speaker 6: Should she.
- 47:46Speaker 2: Wait?
- 47:46Speaker 12: Wait?
- 47:46Speaker 13: Wait, will wait?
- 47:47Speaker 9: Hold hold home?
- 47:48Speaker 13: You calling me about some other parents and saying about
- 47:53Speaker 13: how big my child is or how much my child ways.
- 47:57Speaker 8: If that was what I wanted to let you know,
- 48:00Speaker 8: we're gonna put together a face.
- 48:05Speaker 13: No, you ain't gonna put no, bab I don't already
- 48:07Speaker 13: pay my money. And what you say your name is
- 48:09Speaker 13: chimp and how long have you been in director? Because
- 48:12Speaker 13: I was just up there two weeks ago and they
- 48:15Speaker 13: told me that she was gonna be the same position
- 48:17Speaker 13: that she was last year because that is what worked,
- 48:20Speaker 13: that's the formation that worked. So I don't even know
- 48:22Speaker 13: what well.
- 48:23Speaker 8: Supposedly that some of the girls are complaining that she's
- 48:26Speaker 8: too heavy to hold up, so that seems to be
- 48:28Speaker 8: the problem in there. They're not getting a strong enough
- 48:30Speaker 8: to your men.
- 48:31Speaker 13: And I'm now, wait a minute, wait a minute. I know, well,
- 48:35Speaker 13: she ain't the biggest one.
- 48:36Speaker 2: I felt.
- 48:37Speaker 8: Have you been?
- 48:37Speaker 9: I fail?
- 48:38Speaker 13: My child is not the biggest child I felt when
- 48:41Speaker 13: it because obviously you have not seen these cheerleaders. It's
- 48:44Speaker 13: some baby so much I felt.
- 48:45Speaker 8: Okay, hang on, say Angela, I want you to calm
- 48:47Speaker 8: down a bit.
- 48:48Speaker 13: I ain't nobody gonna calm down because I don't already
- 48:50Speaker 13: paid my money, and this that I'll be talking about
- 48:53Speaker 13: what parents, what parentson said?
- 48:55Speaker 2: Something is?
- 48:56Speaker 13: It is?
- 48:56Speaker 8: It carries man, I'm not I'm not gonna state who
- 48:59Speaker 8: it is, but let's several.
- 49:01Speaker 13: Oh, Paris has got something to say about my child
- 49:05Speaker 13: and her position on the cheerleading squad. Because if you
- 49:07Speaker 13: ain't gonna puk up no name, then I don't under
- 49:09Speaker 13: say what you're calling me about. I'll tell you one thing.
- 49:12Speaker 13: When she gets out there, I done paid my money.
- 49:14Speaker 13: She better not be on no base. She better be
- 49:17Speaker 13: in the air. I guarantee you that right now, i'd
- 49:20Speaker 13: have been hanging with you. Ain't Nobody said nothing to
- 49:24Speaker 13: me about in her way and all that.
- 49:26Speaker 8: Okay, Angela, can you hear me? I just wanted you
- 49:28Speaker 8: to hear me clearly. I haven't seen these young ladies yet.
- 49:31Speaker 8: Once I see them, I will critique what I think.
- 49:34Speaker 13: You don't even need to be calling me because you
- 49:36Speaker 13: ain't even seen nothing. So you calling me with something.
- 49:38Speaker 13: He says, she's from some other parents that's been skinned
- 49:41Speaker 13: and grinted in my face, and they now wanted you
- 49:43Speaker 13: said nothing to me. They don't been in my house.
- 49:46Speaker 13: We didn't have parties, always have this competition every weekend,
- 49:49Speaker 13: they other day, and they couldn't say nothing to me
- 49:51Speaker 13: about my baby. I tell you what, why don't you
- 49:53Speaker 13: call your girls on the three way? Miss the chill.
- 49:56Speaker 13: If you can't call them on the three then I
- 49:58Speaker 13: got them. I call him on the three way differ.
- 50:01Speaker 8: Okay, okay man, all I wanted to do is make
- 50:04Speaker 8: you aware of the possibility that she may be a
- 50:07Speaker 8: gold Thank you you have.
- 50:09Speaker 13: Made me aware. And I guarantee you that if I
- 50:11Speaker 13: bring my big yellow up there and come to the practice,
- 50:13Speaker 13: I guarantee you she want to be no base, how
- 50:15Speaker 13: much you want to bet on that, mister Chip, Look,
- 50:17Speaker 13: you donna.
- 50:18Speaker 8: Quit holler at me. And I told you I would
- 50:20Speaker 8: try to take a look at these girls. But I
- 50:22Speaker 8: tell you what your thought is gonna be a face
- 50:24Speaker 8: or she's going to be a back support. Whichever I've decided,
- 50:27Speaker 8: she's going to do.
- 50:28Speaker 6: Cool in them.
- 50:29Speaker 13: Do you think you honing that, mister Chip? You No,
- 50:34Speaker 13: that's not how it's gonna go down. As a matter
- 50:36Speaker 13: of fact, as miss Chill, are you at the registration
- 50:38Speaker 13: table today?
- 50:40Speaker 8: I'm here now while people are registering, Yes, I am
- 50:42Speaker 8: that me.
- 50:43Speaker 13: Turn it around. I'll tell you what. I'm on my
- 50:45Speaker 13: way up there. Why don't you and the parents that's
- 50:48Speaker 13: been complaining, Why don't all y'all come to the table
- 50:51Speaker 13: and we don't have come to Jesus meeting about whether
- 50:54Speaker 13: it's gonna be for this coming up freezing Because I'm
- 50:57Speaker 13: not going to tolerate this. I have been told you,
- 50:59Speaker 13: I done paid my money and this high is going down?
- 51:02Speaker 8: Gain weight?
- 51:03Speaker 9: What what is it?
- 51:04Speaker 8: The whether game wait or not?

- 54:11Speaker 6: Strawberry Letter.
- 54:13Speaker 1: All right, thank you, nephew. Subject, if he's going, I'm
- 54:16Speaker 1: going to, Dear Stephen Shirley. I've been married for three
- 54:19Speaker 1: years and my husband had two sons when we got married.
- 54:23Speaker 1: I'm cordial with the mom of his nine year old son.
- 54:26Speaker 1: It's the mother of the two year old that I
- 54:28Speaker 1: don't vibe with. Here's why my husband and I split
- 54:32Speaker 1: up a month before our planned wedding date because we
- 54:34Speaker 1: were arguing over wedding plans and money. He started sleeping
- 54:38Speaker 1: on the couch and we ignored each other for weeks,
- 54:40Speaker 1: so we postponed the wedding and he moved in with
- 54:43Speaker 1: his cousin. During that time, he met a girl and
- 54:46Speaker 1: was having sex with her without protection. She got pregnant quickly,
- 54:51Speaker 1: and now he has a son with a woman he
- 54:53Speaker 1: barely knows because I know her. I know her because
- 54:58Speaker 1: she used to do my bra and she knew I
- 55:01Speaker 1: was engaged to this man. After all the drama over
- 55:04Speaker 1: her and the baby, my husband and I work things
- 55:07Speaker 1: out and we eloped. Things were pretty good between us
- 55:11Speaker 1: until last weekend when we announced. When he announced that
- 55:15Speaker 1: he's taking his sons to Disney World next month, I
- 55:18Speaker 1: assumed it was a family vacation, but he said his
- 55:21Speaker 1: two year old son's mom had planned the trip and
- 55:24Speaker 1: invited his nine year old to go. This man knows
- 55:27Speaker 1: I'm not with the BS, so I said, if he's going,
- 55:30Speaker 1: I'm going to. I am not sure how he thought
- 55:33Speaker 1: a trip without me would be okay. He said it's
- 55:36Speaker 1: best if I don't go because I would be mean
- 55:38Speaker 1: to his child's mom. The entire time, I just knew
- 55:42Speaker 1: he had to be joking, but he's serious. Since I
- 55:45Speaker 1: can't go on the trip, I told him that I'll
- 55:48Speaker 1: be gone from his life when he returns from Florida.
- 55:51Speaker 1: He said, I'm being unreasonable and not considering his son.
- 55:55Speaker 1: Is he considering his son or his son's mama? You
- 55:58Speaker 1: know he's thinking about his son's mama. This whole letter
- 56:02Speaker 1: right here is crazy, and how could anyone in their
- 56:05Speaker 1: right mind think this is okay, especially your husband. This
- 56:10Speaker 1: is not right. This is not nice, This is not cool.
- 56:13Speaker 1: What she's doing inviting the nine year old son to
- 56:16Speaker 1: Disney World. This is all a trap. Okay, she knows
- 56:19Speaker 1: exactly what she's doing. He had a baby on you
- 56:22Speaker 1: while you guys were fighting. You were just fighting over
- 56:24Speaker 1: money in the wedding date and all that. You weren't
- 56:27Speaker 1: even separated or divorced or anything. Wow, and now he's
- 56:33Speaker 1: going on a trip with the baby's mama without you.
- 56:36Speaker 1: There's definitely more to this story because he's already accused
- 56:39Speaker 1: you of being mean to the baby mama. He didn't
- 56:42Speaker 1: question the fact that she knows he has a wife,
- 56:45Speaker 1: and she's trying to drag him down there anyway for
- 56:48Speaker 1: what's going to be a family vacation with her. This
- 56:52Speaker 1: is wrong. There's no way you should stay at home.
- 56:55Speaker 1: You got to go on this trip or no one's
- 56:57Speaker 1: going period, that's it. Or do like you said and
- 57:01Speaker 1: not be there when he comes back. You're not being unreasonable.
- 57:04Speaker 1: You are his family, now her. You should definitely go
- 57:07Speaker 1: because if you don't go, trust and believe they will
- 57:10Speaker 1: be working on baby number two. Okay, Tommy, all right,
- 57:16Speaker 1: I'm convinced what.
- 57:20Speaker 6: Everybody got something that you don't have. You need a baby.
- 57:26Speaker 6: You need a baby, because see that's why you can't go,
- 57:28Speaker 6: because you ain't got no baby. You got to get
- 57:30Speaker 6: you a baby. Okay, we got to get you a
- 57:34Speaker 6: baby in order for you to get the Disney. You
- 57:36Speaker 6: need a baby, all right. I don't know if you
- 57:38Speaker 6: need If you can borrow a baby, you know, rental baby,
- 57:44Speaker 6: then they might have some called look up Google rental baby.
- 57:46Speaker 6: You might be a rental baby uber a baby. You
- 57:48Speaker 6: need a baby, baby for a day. Babies are us.
- 57:52Speaker 6: We got to get you a baby. That's the only
- 57:55Speaker 6: way we gonna get you into this Disney Park. We
- 57:57Speaker 6: got to get you. Do now what I do want
- 57:59Speaker 6: you to do because I'm I'm very familiar with this.
- 58:01Speaker 6: You want to stay at the Animal Kingdom. Okay, I
- 58:02Speaker 6: want you to know that that's where you want to stay.
- 58:04Speaker 6: You want to stand Animal m king You want to
- 58:06Speaker 6: make sure you ride Soaring. You want to make sure
- 58:08Speaker 6: you ride Avatar. You want to make sure you ride
- 58:10Speaker 6: all the roller coasts. And you want to get you
- 58:11Speaker 6: a guide. Okay, now we're talking rich. Now you want
- 58:14Speaker 6: to get you a guide. So when you get you
- 58:16Speaker 6: a guy, you can move around all over the place
- 58:17Speaker 6: and do whatever you want to do. And you're gonna
- 58:19Speaker 6: ride a rod rize real real quick. You ain't gonna
- 58:21Speaker 6: stand in line no where when you get you a
- 58:23Speaker 6: gas pas, yes, fast, pan. But we can't do none
- 58:27Speaker 6: of that till we get you a baby. We got
- 58:29Speaker 6: to get a baby. Okay, you ain't got time to
- 58:33Speaker 6: get pregnant right now and get that at Disney. That's
- 58:35Speaker 6: not gonna work for you. You got to get a
- 58:36Speaker 6: baby now, so you need to borrow a baby. Get
- 58:40Speaker 6: you a baby and get on this. Get you get
- 58:42Speaker 6: your own flight. Get on down there to Disney, and
- 58:45Speaker 6: guess what. Now that you got your baby, now you
- 58:47Speaker 6: can move around and see exactly what's going on. You
- 58:49Speaker 6: can see who he's staying with, where they staying at,
- 58:51Speaker 6: who's staying in the room with them. You can pass by.
- 58:53Speaker 6: You already cool with the nine year old mama. You
- 58:55Speaker 6: cool with her, so you lean on her. Lean on her.
- 58:58Speaker 6: That's gonna be your ride of that's your pot done
- 59:00Speaker 6: right there. Okay, but hold on to what hold on
- 59:04Speaker 6: to your baby. Keep a baby with you because that's
- 59:06Speaker 6: gonna keep you in full Because let make sure that
- 59:09Speaker 6: baby is old enough to play with either at nine
- 59:11Speaker 6: ye old or at two year old. You need a
- 59:12Speaker 6: baby right in there that's gonna be able to kick
- 59:14Speaker 6: it with the other ones. All right, don't brain no baby.
- 59:17Speaker 6: At fifteen sixteen you out of you in our dated yourself.
- 59:21Speaker 6: Stay in the middle. Or at two and that nine
- 59:23Speaker 6: you want somebody that's gonna hold the two and be
- 59:25Speaker 6: able to play with the nine you need like a
- 59:27Speaker 6: five or seven yold. Yeah, you need to borrow a
- 59:30Speaker 6: five or seven ye old baby. There's plenty of people
- 59:32Speaker 6: who who can't get to Disney, who can't afford Disney.
- 59:36Speaker 6: They would definitely let you take their baby to Disney. Okay,
- 59:40Speaker 6: a five to a seven year old, get you one
- 59:41Speaker 6: of them. Are you trying to do is borrow baby
- 59:43Speaker 6: for the weekend. That's all you're trying to do. So
- 59:45Speaker 6: you can get down there and keep eye on your
- 59:46Speaker 6: man personally. If my uncle was here, he'll be saying,
- 59:49Speaker 6: why the hell is you chasing this damn man? Hell
- 59:52Speaker 6: is she doing that? Fun? He already messed up before
- 59:55Speaker 6: the wed and you still with him? What is she
- 59:57Speaker 6: doing going to Disney? This is when you' no need
- 1:00:00Speaker 6: to be leaving. That's what the hell you need to
- 1:00:03Speaker 6: be doing. You need to be finding a wait for
- 1:00:05Speaker 6: yourself to hel with him and them women and them babies.
- 1:00:09Speaker 6: That's what you need to do. Go find yourself. When
- 1:00:11Speaker 6: he come back, you need to be gone. That's what
- 1:00:14Speaker 6: you need to be doing.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: Hello, all right, now, you sound just like him.
- 1:00:20Speaker 6: You can ask you can ask the Lord about me.
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: Yes, yes, all of that. I love it.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: Hello, all right, we'll have part two of our responses
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: to this strawberry letter. Carlo is gonna join us when
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: we come back at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: Today's the Strawberry letter subject is if He's Going, I'm
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: going To. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:40Speaker 10: You're listening Hard Morning Show.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: All right, we're going to recap today's strawberry letter. This
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: is it's called if He's Going, I'm Going To. A
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: woman wrote in she's been married for three years. Her
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: husband had two sons before they got married. She's cordial
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: with one of the sons, the nine year old, but
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: the mother of this two year old baby, she does
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: not with her at all, and she says she tells
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: us why she breaks it down. She said she and
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: her husband split up about a month before their planned
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: wedding date because they were arguing over the plans and
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: the money. They couldn't get it together, so they were
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: just mad, walking around, not speaking to each other. He
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: started sleeping on the couch. They ignored each other for weeks.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: They postponed the wedding. He moved out of the house
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: and moved in with his cousin. So while he was
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: over there with his cousin, he met a woman and
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: he started having sex with her without protection. What stupid,
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: This is really dumb. Then the woman got pregnant very quickly,
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: she adds, and now, yeah, it only takes one time.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: Now he's got a son with this woman. And he
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: barely even knows this woman. So the now wife knows
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: this woman because this woman that he had the baby
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: with used to do her braids and the hairstyle. Is
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: the braider knew who she was, She knew that the
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: man was engaged, but she slept with him and got
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: pregnant on him any way, all right, all right, So
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: then they finally worked through it. They work through all
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: the drama and the baby and the husband. She and
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: the husband worked it out and they eloped. So they
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: are married now, have been for three years. And she
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: said things were pretty good between them until last weekend
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: when the mother, the baby, mama of the two year
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: old that she does not get along with. I hope
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: you're following me, decided to invite the nine year old
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: son and the daddy to Disney World.
- 1:02:34Speaker 6: What you know, the biggest question though, what what who
- 1:02:39Speaker 6: doing her hair?
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: Now?
- 1:02:44Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 1:02:44Speaker 6: I mean right there, that's a point.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: Definitely not her anymore. But she probably.
- 1:02:55Speaker 6: All that scratching you doing that. It's a lot.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: Baby here on her edge because she has none. Right,
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: that's a good question, Tommy, you're right, So so the
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: wife says. The wife says. The husband knows he's not
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: with the BS. He doesn't want the wife to go
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: to Disney World with them, because he says, the wife
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: will be treating the baby mama bad all the time,
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: she'll be mad at her all the time. Well, of course,
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: of course he planned a family trip with your this
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: isn't even your family. So anyway, she wants to know.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: She told the husband, if he goes and she doesn't go,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: she will be out of his life when he gets
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: back from Disney World. When he gets back from this trip.
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: He said that she's being unreasonable and not considering his son,
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: and she wants to know is he considering his son
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: or his son's mama? All right, here we go. All right, Carl,
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: we want you to chime in on this one too,
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: because I know you have some opinions. So she is
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: he considering the son or the son's mama? And is
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: she being unreasonable? Like the husband said, No, she's not
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: being unreasonable. There's history with this girl.
- 1:04:05Speaker 9: You had a baby with this girl when they had
- 1:04:07Speaker 9: issues in their relationship, the husband and wife.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: So he is putting this trip before his wife.
- 1:04:16Speaker 9: So he needs to recognize that you don't need this
- 1:04:20Speaker 9: woman to take your kids to Disney World. You can
- 1:04:23Speaker 9: take your sons, both of your sons. You can take
- 1:04:25Speaker 9: them to Disney World on your own, or if you
- 1:04:28Speaker 9: can't budget, do another trip, do something else. First of all,
- 1:04:31Speaker 9: the boys two years old, he's gonna remember half of it.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: Anyway, the youngest he was too, she doesn't remember.
- 1:04:38Speaker 6: Yeah, you wasted your money, right, yes, yeah, yeah.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: I mean we took Tasha. Tasha took her first steps
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: at Disney Side.
- 1:04:46Speaker 9: Note the place really is magical, is really running down
- 1:04:53Speaker 9: all but that was we were all there, we were
- 1:04:55Speaker 9: working for.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: Yeah. But anyway, back to what I'm saying, No, he's foul.
- 1:05:01Speaker 9: You're not being unreasonable, he's being disrespectful, and he needs
- 1:05:05Speaker 9: to tell the baby mama, you know what you're doing.
- 1:05:07Speaker 8: You know what this is.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: This is my wife.
- 1:05:09Speaker 9: I can't go on a trip with you and my son,
- 1:05:14Speaker 9: and you're taking my other son. So now she is
- 1:05:18Speaker 9: dangling this trip, especially for the kids. He don't want
- 1:05:21Speaker 9: to hurt his kids feelings and upset them, especially the
- 1:05:23Speaker 9: nine year old. The nine year old is on board, yes,
- 1:05:26Speaker 9: of course with this trip to Disney.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:05:30Speaker 9: No, she needs to stand firm, or as a kid say,
- 1:05:34Speaker 9: stand on business the wife and put her foot down
- 1:05:38Speaker 9: and let her husband know this is unacceptable and it's
- 1:05:42Speaker 9: no way. This girl the braid. That's the baby mama.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: She knows that she was married. She knows that she
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: was married.
- 1:05:50Speaker 9: She wouldn't want her husband's baby mama to go on
- 1:05:54Speaker 9: the trip with her kids and her husband and she
- 1:05:58Speaker 9: not be included.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: She needs real check and she can check the baby mama.
- 1:06:02Speaker 6: Yeah she can't, right, Why was just going to get
- 1:06:06Speaker 6: out of this? You done locked up? You the one
- 1:06:08Speaker 6: that ain't got a baby. Why don't we just walk
- 1:06:09Speaker 6: away from this? Lea this man alone. Find you a
- 1:06:13Speaker 6: new man, and you a new man and a new hairstylist.
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: Lead I like it.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: Tell me like a new man and a.
- 1:06:21Speaker 6: New hairstyle, and you're gonna need a new hairstylist first
- 1:06:23Speaker 6: in order to get a new man. But you need
- 1:06:24Speaker 6: you a new hairstylist and a new man. Gone leaders man.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: Anyway, he's still I know we're joking about that.
- 1:06:33Speaker 9: Go find you a new man. But at the end

- 1:07:18Speaker 9: past weekend for his birthday.
- 1:07:21Speaker 6: Protect your throw. And he must have been drinking, Michael
- 1:07:24Speaker 6: Wave Hennessy, I don't know what he was trying here.
- 1:07:27Speaker 6: Put the Virgio chords up.
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: Boy all right, So you guys know that we love
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: the movie Baby Boy with you Dog and Tyreeth. Of course,
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Well if you love Snoop Dogg and Tyreeth together in
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: Baby Boy. Then get ready for their brand new movie.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: It's called nineteen ninety two. Nineteen ninety two is an
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: action movie. It's centered around a father that gets caught
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: up in a heist while he's trying to save his
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: son from the streets during the nineteen ninety two LA
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: uprising after the Rodney King verdict.
- 1:07:53Speaker 10: Who I was there then?
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: Snoop said that the year of nineteen ninety two was
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: a life changing time for him musically, while everything was
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: falling apart in LA. Nineteen ninety two is about an
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: LA moment. It will be released in late August in
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: limited theaters nationwide. So congratulations, I can't wait to see that.
- 1:08:12Speaker 10: That should be good.
- 1:08:13Speaker 6: Yeah, okay, okay, well let me throw one in here.
- 1:08:17Speaker 6: I want to do a congratulations to my boy. Y'all
- 1:08:20Speaker 6: know my boy, Avery Williams, Professor Avery Williams out of
- 1:08:23Speaker 6: More House now. Yes, he had a film that debuted
- 1:08:27Speaker 6: on Lifetime this past Saturday, Abducted at HBCU.
- 1:08:31Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:08:31Speaker 6: Good, Yeah, that's my boy. Ride to die man, and
- 1:08:35Speaker 6: I want to give big ups to him. This is
- 1:08:37Speaker 6: the this is the beginning of many so I think
- 1:08:39Speaker 6: he's already got another job to write another Lifetime film.
- 1:08:42Speaker 6: So Avery's on his way. Man, I'm grateful, I'm happy
- 1:08:45Speaker 6: for him, and he's.
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: Oh good, good writer.
- 1:08:47Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:08:47Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:08:48Speaker 9: So that's a question then, Tommy, So what kind of
- 1:08:51Speaker 9: advice Because you're an actor, you're on television.
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: Avery's got a movie on Lifetime. This is huge, this
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: is big. What kind of advice would you give.
- 1:08:59Speaker 9: To anybody us listening that want to get in the
- 1:09:02Speaker 9: movie business industry or television and they just don't.
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: Know which way to go? What kind of direction should
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: they take?
- 1:09:09Speaker 6: That's a good question. First of all, you know, if
- 1:09:11Speaker 6: you're on the acting side, the biggest thing, go get
- 1:09:14Speaker 6: some training. Go get as much training as possible. And
- 1:09:17Speaker 6: I went to college for this, So go get your training,
- 1:09:20Speaker 6: hone your craft, know what you're doing, and and really
- 1:09:23Speaker 6: dig deep into really learning every aspect about it and
- 1:09:26Speaker 6: what you'll be surprised about. They are actors who are
- 1:09:30Speaker 6: the home run hitters that still go to classes, still
- 1:09:34Speaker 6: go on topic. You can go and catch you can
- 1:09:38Speaker 6: go and catch Pacino in a class in a class,
- 1:09:42Speaker 6: still still honing. It's still sharpening and sharpening and sharpenings.
- 1:09:46Speaker 6: So you can what they say if you stay ready,
- 1:09:49Speaker 6: there you go.
- 1:09:49Speaker 15: You want to know what location, class, what time do
- 1:09:55Speaker 15: they meet? That's and is it didn't zail bleak?
- 1:10:02Speaker 12: Is he?
- 1:10:03Speaker 8: Is it that?
- 1:10:04Speaker 6: Because y'all all outside, all right?
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, forty two
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: year old single man wants to know if he should
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: date older women. We'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:10:19Speaker 10: You're listening hard morning show.
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: All right, guys. This is from Shahied in Tallahassee. Shahid said,
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: if I'm a gentleman and I tell a female I
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: don't want to have sex with her before I get
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: to really know her, why am I called lame or suspect?
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: This newer generation of females have too much sexual energy.
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: The last girl that I dated was too wild and
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: the sex was raunchy, so it was a turn off.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: She used to kiss me on the forehead and get
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: her own towel afterwards. I'm forty two. I need to
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: find an older woman.
- 1:10:56Speaker 8: Now.
- 1:10:56Speaker 6: Oh my god, Hey man, nothing wrong with you being
- 1:10:59Speaker 6: classy about what you want and how you want to
- 1:11:01Speaker 6: do it. Don't let nobody rush you into this man.
- 1:11:04Speaker 6: And yeah, the raunching is a big turn off brother,
- 1:11:08Speaker 6: So I understand. Now, do you want an older woman,
- 1:11:10Speaker 6: They might be a little bit more classy. I don't know,
- 1:11:13Speaker 6: but I think you can. All you got to do
- 1:11:14Speaker 6: is keep looking, don't don't don't, don't give up. There's
- 1:11:16Speaker 6: somebody your age that you will find. It's gonna have
- 1:11:18Speaker 6: the same class and it's an approach to it the
- 1:11:21Speaker 6: way that you have it. But don't don't get caught
- 1:11:23Speaker 6: up in that raunching. Is they gonna turn you out
- 1:11:24Speaker 6: out that nice? It's it's fun sometimes though.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: I just can't tell you your nose all the way up.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: I mean, it's like all that sexual energy a yeah,
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: kind of old school and his you know, belief kind
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: of classic in his belief, so you know, he can
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: feel how he wants to feel for sure. For two Yeah,
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: he wants to slow it all the way down. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: keep it classic.
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: All right, we have time for another one. This one's
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: from VICKI and Memphis. Vicky says, my husband and I
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: were out of town and our teenage daughters had a
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: cookout while we were gone. We found out when my
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: neighbor's daughter called the police with a noise complaint. The
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: neighbor's daughter fell out with my daughter's last year, and
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: she was upset. I knew that she wasn't invited. Of course,
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: you know that we now have to pay a fine
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: for the noise, and my husband is angry. Our teenagers
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: were out of line, but the neighbor's daughter is just
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: as wrong. We've disciplined our girls, but how do we
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: make peace with the neighbor's devilish daughter.
- 1:12:34Speaker 6: Wow, listen here, y'all got to be careful. Not this Memphis,
- 1:12:38Speaker 6: y'all gon mess around. Be on first four to eight,
- 1:12:40Speaker 6: behind that inviting his lady to this part. Y'all should
- 1:12:42Speaker 6: have just invited this later. This can get rough in Memphis.
- 1:12:44Speaker 6: They can it can it can go. It can go
- 1:12:46Speaker 6: a hard left on you. I'm telling you so be patient,
- 1:12:49Speaker 6: be careful if start apologizing that you don't want to
- 1:12:52Speaker 6: wind up on TV. I'm just telling okay that that
- 1:13:00Speaker 6: that detective lady with them nails, she's gonna show up.
- 1:13:02Speaker 6: Keep on. Somebody gonna be mad. I'm trying to.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: Tell you know, this is a teenage girl. The teenager.
- 1:13:12Speaker 9: Everybody was wrong in this case and the mother. Everyone recognize.
- 1:13:16Speaker 6: Somebody gonna be in the interrogation room. Saying that, Okay,
- 1:13:22Speaker 6: you wasn't invited to the party. You wasn't invited to
- 1:13:24Speaker 6: the party. That's when you got mad, ain't it. That's
- 1:13:26Speaker 6: when you got that. I ain't got all day. I
- 1:13:28Speaker 6: gotta get my nails down the pie. Come on, talk
- 1:13:29Speaker 6: to me now, good what you invited to the part?

- 1:13:46Speaker 6: I know your momaem was gone.
- 1:13:47Speaker 8: I know that.

- 1:13:53Speaker 6: gotta get my hand done in my neils. I'm going
- 1:13:55Speaker 6: I told you, I'm going to flight. I'm going to flight.
- 1:13:57Speaker 6: I'm having done that flight. Don't do this to me
- 1:13:59Speaker 6: right now, blood.
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: He died.
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: Say that, Yeah, this girl is a teenager. She could

- 1:14:33Speaker 6: what happened on you. I'm not playing with you today.
- 1:14:35Speaker 6: I'm not playing. I'm tired. I dealt with four people
- 1:14:38Speaker 6: just like you today. I'm tired. I am tired. Think
- 1:14:40Speaker 6: of my nails they chipped. My nails is chipped right here.

- 1:15:07Speaker 1: of Representative Sheila Jackson Lee. Representative Lee passed away on
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: Friday from pancreatic cancer. Representative Lee served as a municipal
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: judge and a councilwoman in Houston before she was elected
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: back in nineteen ninety four to serve Texas' eighteenth Congressional district,
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: where she served as an outspoken advocate for blacks for
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: over three decades. Sheila Jackson Lee's family issued this statement
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: on Friday, saying, today, with incredible grief for our loss,
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: yet deep gratitude for the life she shared with us,
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: we announced the passing of United States Representative Sheila Jackson

- 1:16:04Speaker 6: Definitely, wow, definitely. You know, Carler and kid Junior, we're
- 1:16:09Speaker 6: you know, we're out of Texas, so you know, and
- 1:16:13Speaker 6: and you know, Sheila Jackson Lee. Man, she was, she
- 1:16:15Speaker 6: was at my I've seen her so many times when
- 1:16:17Speaker 6: I'm when I'm hosting different events, But I think the
- 1:16:19Speaker 6: most rememberable thing is just her being at my dad's
- 1:16:23Speaker 6: funeral and coming and giving some words of encouragement and
- 1:16:26Speaker 6: leaving us a flag. And it was she was just
- 1:16:29Speaker 6: it was just beautiful to see her to especially when
- 1:16:31Speaker 6: you're on a day like that, you just, you know,
- 1:16:33Speaker 6: very uplifting.
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:16:34Speaker 8: She was.
- 1:16:35Speaker 6: She was a foot soldier.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: Yes, she was everybody.
- 1:16:38Speaker 6: Everybody, All right.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: Guys, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: coming up right after this.
- 1:16:44Speaker 10: You're listening Harvey Morning Show, and.
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: It's time now for a round. Would you rather? All right, guys, listen,
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: would you rather have sex standing up? Or would you
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: rather have sex on the stairs? Which one's more exciting?
- 1:16:58Speaker 6: We can stand up on the stairs, don't care how
- 1:17:00Speaker 6: the hell we doing it? I got balanced, I can
- 1:17:04Speaker 6: however you want to work this out, I don't care
- 1:17:06Speaker 6: you balance. Yeah, I'm gonna go with standing up, you know,
- 1:17:09Speaker 6: because because I don't want to fall on the stairs.
- 1:17:11Speaker 6: But yeah, but if if if I got to stand up,
- 1:17:13Speaker 6: only we can't lay down on those stairs. No way,
- 1:17:16Speaker 6: So what are we talking about?
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: So what are the choices? What are standing up? Having sex?
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: Standing up or sex on the stairs?
- 1:17:23Speaker 9: Okay, so it's just standing up against the wall or
- 1:17:25Speaker 9: something like that, not on the stairs. Okay, I'll take

- 1:17:42Speaker 1: There only one of the twos? Only? Yeah, I said,
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: standing up fall down the stairs?
- 1:17:49Speaker 6: No, you need to take your socks off and get
- 1:17:53Speaker 6: some grip.
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: Rather, we're moving on. Would you rather your wife or
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: your husband in this case with Carla see all your
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: text messages right now? Or would you rather then see
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: all of your pictures right now? Your text messages, messages
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: or your pictures which I don't matter.
- 1:18:12Speaker 6: I don't care. I don't care this whole damn thing.
- 1:18:14Speaker 6: I care less.
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: No, really, let me tell you what I get. Your response, Carla,
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: I'm stunned by temmy to a response you know how
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: you are about your phone.
- 1:18:26Speaker 6: About you being shocked shirt.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: I'm just stunned. When did this change happen?
- 1:18:33Speaker 6: Being shocked?
- 1:18:35Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: Good?
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: But let me say this.
- 1:18:38Speaker 9: What I don't want him to look at is my
- 1:18:41Speaker 9: heart from the different shopping here.
- 1:18:46Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that's what I don't want him to look at.
- 1:18:49Speaker 9: You look at the text messages and the pictures that
- 1:18:52Speaker 9: Amazon app in the other apps.
- 1:18:55Speaker 10: Who are you?
- 1:18:56Speaker 6: Okay?
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: Would you rather have an itch you can't reach, an
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: itch you can at reach, or food stuck in the
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: front of your.
- 1:19:02Speaker 6: Teeth that itch I can't reach. It's difficult.
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: I am very difficult. I'm with you times when we
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: started shoulder teeth. Get that later, I get that.
- 1:19:13Speaker 6: It's that it Yeah, you know, and they don't sell
- 1:19:17Speaker 6: back scratches no more. You know they used to sell them.
- 1:19:20Speaker 6: You know you don't have that no more? All right?
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: Would you rather grow all of your hair back forever?
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: Throw all of your hair back? Or be six ft
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: tall forever?
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: Tommy?
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: Answer the shorter.
- 1:19:39Speaker 6: Going on because I show what hell y'all ain't gonna
- 1:19:41Speaker 6: know who the hell I am. I'm not gonna do that.
- 1:19:43Speaker 9: I'm not gonna y'all doesn't answer the high part too,
- 1:19:48Speaker 9: because you're shorter than me.
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: Go ahead, I'm not sure.
- 1:19:53Speaker 6: And kids, my kids all starting to look down at them.
- 1:19:56Speaker 6: But anyway, I'd rather be six.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: Foot that's it, all right, that's today's rounded. Would you
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: rather coming up next to our last break of the day.
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: We'll close out the show right after this. You're listening
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: Hardy Morning Show. All right, guys, here we are our
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: last break.
- 1:20:13Speaker 3: Of the day.
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: Jay, it is the last break of the day.
- 1:20:17Speaker 6: All right, Steve. You know I often talk about your
- 1:20:22Speaker 6: mental attitude.
- 1:20:24Speaker 7: I'm gonna share something with you because it's a way
- 1:20:28Speaker 7: that I was thinking of how I really thought, and
- 1:20:31Speaker 7: I was thinking about statistics and how statistics. People use
- 1:20:37Speaker 7: statistics to help them be okay to me with their failure.
- 1:20:43Speaker 7: People use the statistics to find a way to describe
- 1:20:49Speaker 7: their lack of movement or their not being successful or something.
- 1:20:52Speaker 7: Because you got to be careful with any stat that
- 1:20:55Speaker 7: says one out of you know, you ever hear a
- 1:20:59Speaker 7: stat one out of every five thousand, one out of
- 1:21:02Speaker 7: every one out of every six out of ten see
- 1:21:07Speaker 7: and people, if you're not careful, statistics can be very crippling.
- 1:21:15Speaker 7: Thirty percent of the people who do this will wind
- 1:21:19Speaker 7: up that way. And what negative people do. They automatically
- 1:21:24Speaker 7: put themselves into to the negative side of the equation
- 1:21:29Speaker 7: because if you're accustomed to thinking negative. You will always
- 1:21:32Speaker 7: take the negative side of a statistic. What they told
- 1:21:38Speaker 7: me years ago, one out of every two thousand comedians
- 1:21:42Speaker 7: will get on the Tonight Show. So that means one,
- 1:21:47Speaker 7: nine hundred and ninety nine comedians out of the two
- 1:21:49Speaker 7: thousand will never get on the Tonight's Show. So you
- 1:21:52Speaker 7: know what everybody around me was talking about. Man, we'll
- 1:21:55Speaker 7: never make it on the Tonight Show. You know what
- 1:21:57Speaker 7: I did when I first got in comedy the Tonight's
- 1:22:01Speaker 7: Show theme song before I went on, I harmed it.
- 1:22:09Speaker 7: I never got on it with Johnny Carson. But you
- 1:22:13Speaker 7: know what I got on the Tonight's Show when Jay
- 1:22:16Speaker 7: Leno was on Now, but I was already successful.
- 1:22:19Speaker 6: That's the only way I got on it.
- 1:22:21Speaker 7: But see, I never allowed that statistic to enter into
- 1:22:26Speaker 7: my system. It's amazing what statistics do. Be very careful
- 1:22:32Speaker 7: you all listening to statistics because they.
- 1:22:35Speaker 6: Got nothing to do with you. They don't.
- 1:22:39Speaker 7: Stats to me are for people looking for a reason
- 1:22:44Speaker 7: to explain why they're not going to do it, or
- 1:22:47Speaker 7: why they didn't make it, or why they're not successful.
- 1:22:50Speaker 7: I don't care nothing about no stats.
- 1:22:52Speaker 6: See.
- 1:22:53Speaker 7: The problem is what I chose to do. And let
- 1:22:55Speaker 7: me explain this to you. See if you can get
- 1:22:57Speaker 7: what I'm talking about. Let's look at these two words.
- 1:23:02Speaker 7: Let's start with probability. What's the probability of you becoming
- 1:23:08Speaker 7: rich one day? What's the probability of you being able
- 1:23:12Speaker 7: to have a child. What's the probability of you hitting
- 1:23:16Speaker 7: the lottery? What's the probability of you owning more than
- 1:23:21Speaker 7: one house? What's the probability of you being able to
- 1:23:25Speaker 7: travel like you want to in this world? What's the
- 1:23:28Speaker 7: probability of you seeing four other countries before you die?
- 1:23:32Speaker 7: You understand what I'm saying. Once you look at the probability,
- 1:23:36Speaker 7: you are in trouble because the operative word and probability
- 1:23:43Speaker 7: to me is probable. It probably probably won't happen. Well,
- 1:23:50Speaker 7: it's probable, but it ain't likely. That's the problem with it.
- 1:23:54Speaker 7: So I never operate on probability. I choose to operate
- 1:23:59Speaker 7: on another, the word possibility. I only look at the
- 1:24:05Speaker 7: possibility of it. And here's the code part. Y'all, if
- 1:24:11Speaker 7: you thought about it for real, listen to this right here.
- 1:24:17Speaker 7: Do you realize that it is impossible to think an
- 1:24:23Speaker 7: impossible thought?
- 1:24:26Speaker 6: Oh? What did you say, I said, do you realize it.
- 1:24:32Speaker 7: Is impossible to think an impossible thought? So if you
- 1:24:36Speaker 7: thought it, do you not understand that that's possible? Show
- 1:24:41Speaker 7: me one person, show me anybody, Show me anybody that
- 1:24:44Speaker 7: has thought an impossible thought.
- 1:24:47Speaker 6: How can you do that? How how can you think
- 1:24:53Speaker 6: an impossible thought?
- 1:24:57Speaker 7: The reason you can't think of an impossible thought because
- 1:25:00Speaker 7: the moment you think it, there lies the possibility.
- 1:25:07Speaker 2: And now.
- 1:25:09Speaker 7: It opens up your life, It opens up your realm
- 1:25:16Speaker 7: of thinking. It opens up you to starting to begin
- 1:25:21Speaker 7: in the process that anything is possible, anything is possible.
- 1:25:26Speaker 7: Do you know something that you could really be rich
- 1:25:29Speaker 7: one day if that's what you want it now, I'm
- 1:25:31Speaker 7: not saying that's a necessity and that's what makes you happy.
- 1:25:33Speaker 7: I'm just using that as an example. Do you know
- 1:25:36Speaker 7: you could actually have more than one home? Do you
- 1:25:39Speaker 7: know that you could actually drive more than one or
- 1:25:42Speaker 7: two cars? You can have four cars. Do you understand
- 1:25:45Speaker 7: that you actually can help change lives that you've been
- 1:25:49Speaker 7: thinking to change. Do you know that you actually can
- 1:25:51Speaker 7: be owned, become a business owner, that you actually can
- 1:25:54Speaker 7: open up that business.
- 1:25:56Speaker 6: You can actually do it. You can actually do it,
- 1:26:02Speaker 6: but you.
- 1:26:02Speaker 7: Gotta fix your mind because it's possible. Stop looking at
- 1:26:08Speaker 7: the probability of something and look at the possibility. And
- 1:26:13Speaker 7: if you tell somebody an idea all the time and
- 1:26:15Speaker 7: they start telling you why it won't work, stop talking
- 1:26:18Speaker 7: to them people. You'll need them people. I only talk
- 1:26:21Speaker 7: to people when I give them an idea. They go, yeah, man,
- 1:26:24Speaker 7: we can do that. I don't need you telling me
- 1:26:26Speaker 7: how it won't work. The opposition gonna present itself in
- 1:26:28Speaker 7: everything you attempt to do anyway. I don't want to
- 1:26:31Speaker 7: hear your mouth talk about why it won't work. I
- 1:26:33Speaker 7: only give myself around people when I give them an idea,
- 1:26:35Speaker 7: they say, yeah, man, let's go.
- 1:26:39Speaker 6: Those are my closing remarks. I ain't no more to
- 1:26:45Speaker 6: have a Christian Day.
