- 1:30Speaker 1: so impressed with him as a chef and his energy
- 1:33Speaker 1: that every Saturday on my Facebook. On my Facebook, he
- 1:36Speaker 1: post a video of him cooking something. That's how much
- 1:40Speaker 1: I believe in his talents. Is at nine am East
- 1:43Speaker 1: to Standard time on my Facebook, and I got almost
- 1:45Speaker 1: eight hundred thousand followers, So it's not like what we
- 1:47Speaker 1: should I and followed you got on your Facebook. Now
- 1:50Speaker 1: I got eight hundred thousands. I got a lot of
- 1:52Speaker 1: people wants to like Rashawn McDonald. My next guest is
- 1:56Speaker 1: of a James Beard Honors celebrity TV chef and best
- 2:00Speaker 1: selling cookbook author, best known from numerous Food Network shows
- 2:03Speaker 1: over the last nine years. Chef Wanted Food Network star
- 2:07Speaker 1: on a two time one on Cutthrow Kitchen, and he's
- 2:10Speaker 1: currently starting in a new season of Comeback Kitchen. Come
- 2:13Speaker 1: Back Kitchen. Please welcome to Money Maname conversation Chieff jard Wealth.
- 2:24Speaker 1: I'm just well, I've gotten man, I tell the story.
- 2:27Speaker 1: I've learned that man. You know you've got to let
- 2:29Speaker 1: people know what's going on. Why why is it important
- 2:32Speaker 1: to talk to the chef jar? Well, well, thank the all. Shi.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Maybe just because you cooking and you cutch. You you
- 2:39Speaker 1: a lot of people to think it on my nerves.
- 2:41Speaker 1: You know they can do something. They can do a
- 2:44Speaker 1: little cake. You know people always stopped me, I can,
- 2:46Speaker 1: I can, I'll bake you or you're on TV. Let's
- 2:49Speaker 1: stop this conversation. It's just somebody puts you on TV.
- 2:51Speaker 1: You ain't out baking me, okay, so you can you
- 2:55Speaker 1: can tell what you do with that baker. Now, the putting,
- 2:57Speaker 1: you can tell, but do it that pound cake? But
- 3:00Speaker 1: are you doing it on TV? That's what you do share,
- 3:02Speaker 1: don't do it on TV? And been doing it for
- 3:06Speaker 1: the past nine years, and don't tell us about Comeback Kitchen. Man.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Just on the Food Network on Sunday nights. You in
- 3:12Speaker 1: the competition, Man, I've been watching it the first week. Man,
- 3:17Speaker 1: you look shaky, Man, I look shaky, things like they're
- 3:20Speaker 1: about to boot you off the show. I've always got,
- 3:26Speaker 1: always got everybody out of the end that they see.
- 3:28Speaker 1: You know, That's one of the major things about Comeback
- 3:30Speaker 1: Kitchen is I'm a competitive chef and that's what I've
- 3:34Speaker 1: been doing for the pads nine years on Food Network
- 3:36Speaker 1: is competing in their shows, and that's one of the
- 3:40Speaker 1: reasons why they keep bringing me back, not only doing
- 3:44Speaker 1: how the entertainment is, but I actually know what I'm
- 3:46Speaker 1: talking about when it comes to food and cooking great
- 3:50Speaker 1: food because it's about that. To Comeback Kitchen, it's one
- 3:53Speaker 1: of those shows whether they're taking the from the highest
- 3:57Speaker 1: rated seasons, and that really has the entertainment planning the
- 4:01Speaker 1: bringing us back to battle against each other for another
- 4:06Speaker 1: opportunity to own Food Network stop. What's the what's the
- 4:08Speaker 1: goal for you in this business of doing celebrity cooking
- 4:12Speaker 1: and also your cater you You make appearances at different
- 4:16Speaker 1: festivals around the world. You know, you just came off
- 4:19Speaker 1: the tom joined the cruise. You're going down to Ess
- 4:21Speaker 1: Music Festival. I should just says festival. Uh and cooking
- 4:26Speaker 1: showing your wares. So yeah, So what's the goal? What's
- 4:29Speaker 1: the end goal for you? Sure if you've got books
- 4:30Speaker 1: out there, you got seasoning on the shelves of a
- 4:33Speaker 1: major grocery store, what's the goal? Man? I'm like, I'm
- 4:36Speaker 1: talking to you man. You might fry me up. Having
- 4:40Speaker 1: having somebody like you in my corner. That tells me
- 4:43Speaker 1: that I don't win it. And I got the favorite
- 4:46Speaker 1: goal for me most importantly, But my my ultimate goal
- 4:50Speaker 1: at the end of the day is to be a
- 4:52Speaker 1: household name. I want to be just like the the
- 4:56Speaker 1: body plays the m of God see us all of
- 4:59Speaker 1: the I want to have a household name where everyone
- 5:02Speaker 1: knows what who Chef Jenardi is, what he does, and
- 5:06Speaker 1: everyone wants to cook something that Chef Denard. And my
- 5:09Speaker 1: ultimate in game it's to it's the one they have
- 5:13Speaker 1: my own show, so I can open up my household
- 5:17Speaker 1: and let people see what it's like a day a
- 5:19Speaker 1: day with Chef Denard on every day with Chef Denard. Rather,
- 5:25Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you my favorite show on it's The
- 5:28Speaker 1: Pioneer Woman. I don't know if anybody wants that. That
- 5:31Speaker 1: woman let out, you know, and she's so engaging and
- 5:38Speaker 1: genuine and and those those are the ones that I
- 5:42Speaker 1: model myself after. When people watch me on shows like
- 5:45Speaker 1: Come Back Kids and Cutthrough Kitchen, why they why they're
- 5:48Speaker 1: so engaged with me, It is because I'm that guy
- 5:52Speaker 1: that you know, I'm that unhole, that covenant brother, that father,
- 5:55Speaker 1: whatever it is. And I go on there and I
- 5:58Speaker 1: just give the people just who I am. I don't
- 6:00Speaker 1: put on the facade. I'm this country gotta originate from Mississippi,
- 6:04Speaker 1: that's only here that loves to cooking. Like now, that's
- 6:08Speaker 1: that's really great because of the fact that you know,
- 6:11Speaker 1: we look at these people, the Bobby Flays, you look
- 6:13Speaker 1: at the Rachel Raise, you know, these people out there.
- 6:16Speaker 1: A lot of celebrities of TV now are moved into
- 6:19Speaker 1: the cooking arena and because of the fact that it's
- 6:22Speaker 1: something cool. But when I look at it, your your
- 6:24Speaker 1: special talent. I'm not gonna I'm not gonna just say
- 6:27Speaker 1: that because I put you on Facebook and you are
- 6:29Speaker 1: a very special talent because you casually do what you do,
- 6:32Speaker 1: and that means you do it effort lely. That's why
- 6:34Speaker 1: I love the Pioneer woman. I watched that woman. She's
- 6:37Speaker 1: talking and she's mixing stuff and going, is that woman
- 6:39Speaker 1: here watching what she know? Story? And she's just talking
- 6:42Speaker 1: away because that's what she do. That's how passion, that's
- 6:44Speaker 1: how gift. It's like Michael Jordan dunking a basketball. Would
- 6:47Speaker 1: anybody dout that Michael Jordan can't dock a basketball even now?
- 6:51Speaker 1: He could probably talk a backab and if he if
- 6:53Speaker 1: he don't talk a basketball, we're gonna be shot. Somebody
- 6:55Speaker 1: reasi to go, somebody ready to go, you know. And
- 6:58Speaker 1: so that's how I look at you now. Now I
- 7:00Speaker 1: just want to make sure now you're not gonna be
- 7:02Speaker 1: doing no no flipping this time, like even when you
- 7:04Speaker 1: flipped last time and you crack because just tell you,
- 7:11Speaker 1: because I'm tell you. If only flow he has he
- 7:14Speaker 1: kind of go too far. And it ain't nothing to
- 7:17Speaker 1: do with the kitchen. It's outside. When the pans down,
- 7:20Speaker 1: he kind of loses his mind a little bit. He
- 7:22Speaker 1: gets too creative. And when he when he when he
- 7:25Speaker 1: went across that floor and flip and crashed. I was like, man,
- 7:30Speaker 1: that's when I first recognized it. Boy, this boy right here,
- 7:34Speaker 1: somebody need to manage him. And you know, somebody put
- 7:39Speaker 1: a little buzzer in your head. You know when you
- 7:41Speaker 1: when the ideal pup up drop it. People that far
- 7:45Speaker 1: the best boone start Cooking act. Let's let's tell them
- 7:49Speaker 1: about the Comeback Kitchen man, because I enjoyed talking to you.
- 7:51Speaker 1: What is the goal of all the contestants on that show?
- 7:54Speaker 1: Tell us every tell everybody high works so we can
- 7:57Speaker 1: watch it this Sunday. Yes, happening in the kids. They
- 8:02Speaker 1: bring back timically eight of the best of the best chefs,
- 8:06Speaker 1: and we're all fighting for in battle and for apart
- 8:10Speaker 1: back on Food Network Starts season fourteen, which come Back
- 8:15Speaker 1: Kitchen is the part of Food Network Start. It's the prequel,
- 8:19Speaker 1: and what we're doing is we'll fight for that that
- 8:22Speaker 1: one seat, that one seat on the platform to get
- 8:25Speaker 1: back into the rain of of food. They were start
- 8:28Speaker 1: to battle against electen to eleven more chefs for that
- 8:32Speaker 1: title of holding Food Network Start. A lot of people
- 8:36Speaker 1: know me from season twelve being the run her up,
- 8:39Speaker 1: So that was one of the reasons between between that
- 8:43Speaker 1: and the fact that I have so many fans that
- 8:46Speaker 1: even mal me on a regular basis saying that they
- 8:49Speaker 1: loved me. They want to see me back on TV.
- 8:52Speaker 1: It was a no brainer that I had to go back.
- 8:54Speaker 1: I had to go back just after mere fact. I
- 8:57Speaker 1: have to give people what they want when the fans
- 9:00Speaker 1: called for you, you gotta you gotta get the people
- 9:03Speaker 1: what they want. But did you did call me? You
- 9:05Speaker 1: call me ro Sean the woman you come back on TV?
- 9:08Speaker 1: What should I do? I said, Boy, if you don't
- 9:10Speaker 1: take your back back on that TV show, you know
- 9:14Speaker 1: ecuse because he'd be asked to be a little common
- 9:16Speaker 1: sense stuff like, you know, like I'm really managing him.
- 9:19Speaker 1: What should I do? Boy? That ain't hard to say,
- 9:22Speaker 1: get back on that show. I lean know you because
- 9:26Speaker 1: I see you in that light. I really do. And
- 9:29Speaker 1: and that's why when I called you and I was
- 9:31Speaker 1: talking about that, and you was like, look at not you.
- 9:35Speaker 1: You didn't been back on TV two years. And when
- 9:38Speaker 1: you was on that you was the run up. If
- 9:40Speaker 1: you don't have to get your butt back on you said,
- 9:44Speaker 1: I said, all right, that's all you had to say?
- 9:46Speaker 1: Is this what I gotta do? Run out of time?
- 9:48Speaker 1: It's the fact that every Sunday, this Sunday in particular,
- 9:52Speaker 1: you'll be on the Comeback Catches Round three. UH Food Network.
- 9:56Speaker 1: What time is doesn't air a ten Central, nine pm
- 10:01Speaker 1: Eastern NAPM Eastern we in Atlantic, so it was nap
- 10:04Speaker 1: We're gonna watch. We're gonna put this on podcast. We're

- 10:23Speaker 1: be saying, my two favorite TV shows gonna be shift
- 10:26Speaker 1: to Dog Wells and The Pine Woman exactly. And you
- 10:31Speaker 1: know what, they don't make it. They're telling it tick
- 10:34Speaker 1: the sat Morning cooking segment because I'm gonna make those
- 10:38Speaker 1: du said hot queens that I made yesterday come back Kitchen.
- 10:42Speaker 1: You're gonna we're current on this show, man, We're current
- 10:45Speaker 1: on this show. We're keeping it round. Hey, man, tell
