Latest / The Lila Rose Show / BONUS: Unpacking The Abortion Clash At The Vance-Walz Debate
Transcript
- 0:01Hey guys, welcome back to the Lila Rose podcast.
- 0:04We're jumping in here for a spur of the moment YouTube live here
- 0:08because of the vice presidential debate last night.
- 0:11Thank you everybody who is tuning in right now.
- 0:13This is obviously a crucial breaking story about how the
- 0:17debate went down last night. This is a historic election as
- 0:21you guys know. Everyone is following this so
- 0:23closely. So much is on the line.
- 0:25And last night, JD Vance went head to head toe to toe with Tim
- 0:29Walz in the first vice presidential debate, might be
- 0:32the only vice presidential debate of this election.
- 0:35So it was a huge debate. JD's Vance's performance was
- 0:38widely acclaimed throughout media because he was in a strong
- 0:42performance. Tim Walz, a lot of people
- 0:44dunking on him for his performance.
- 0:46But people seem to be in agreement on both sides that
- 0:49some of JD Vance's weakest moments were on abortion.
- 0:53So we're going to unpack that part of the debate.
- 0:55There were several minutes of back and forth between Walls and
- 0:58Vance. We're going to watch it
- 0:59together. As you guys know this is the
- 1:02focus of this podcast to during our live segments on that are
- 1:06election related to unpack where the candidates are on life.
- 1:10Life is the most important human right.
- 1:12You can't enjoy any other human right without life.
- 1:16So life is the first human right, the right to not be
- 1:18killed, the right to exist. This is the most important human
- 1:21rights issue of our day because abortion is killing 3000
- 1:25children on average every single day in America.
- 1:28Legalized abortion. Abortion is the leading cause of
- 1:31death. It is the number one cause of
- 1:33death in this country and globally.
- 1:35So how we and whether we protect life is the most important
- 1:40political issue. It doesn't matter how our
- 1:44economy is doing, how foreign affairs are doing, how our
- 1:46border is doing, if you can't even live, if you don't even
- 1:50have the right to exist. And tragically, horribly, 3000
- 1:54children each day are killed by legal abortion.
- 1:58Their rights, their right to exist being violated, their
- 2:01fundamental right to live. You can't enjoy any other right
- 2:04without life. So let's unpack this part of the
- 2:07debate with JD Vance and Tim Walz.
- 2:10It was, again, a lot of fireworks between them.
- 2:13But I will say, and we're going to unpack this more, I think
- 2:16there was a big missed opportunity on JD Vance's side.
- 2:21And Tim Walls, of course, was doubling down on his support of
- 2:23abortion. Tragically.
- 2:25And unfortunately, you're going to see some of that doubling
- 2:26down, not for life, but even for abortion on JD Vance's side.
- 2:30We're going to unpack all of this here and watch it together.
- 2:33So let's start with the clip here from the debate.
- 2:37You're going to hear the moderator ask the question and
- 2:40we're going to go into first comments from Walls and Vance on
- 2:44life. Now to the issue of reproductive
- 2:46rights, Governor Walls, after Roe versus Wade was overturned,
- 2:50you signed a bill into law that made Minnesota one of the least
- 2:54restrictive states in the nation when it comes to abortion.
- 2:58Former President Trump said in the last debate that you believe
- 3:02abortion quote in the ninth month is absolutely fine.
- 3:07Yes or no? Is that what you support?
- 3:09I'll give you 2 minutes that's. Not what the bill says, but look
- 3:11this this issue is what? Here already.
- 3:14So I really actually appreciated the moderator doing this because
- 3:19it was an honest moment that the moderator had to question Tim
- 3:23Walls on his incredible and horrific support of abortion
- 3:27through all nine months of pregnancy, even to the point of
- 3:31depriving abortion survivors, children who survive abortion
- 3:34attempts of medical care. So immediately Tim Wall says
- 3:37that's not true. He just pretends it's not true.
- 3:40But let's actually look at the law that Tim Wall supported.
- 3:43That is doing what the moderator is saying that it did, which is
- 3:47supporting abortion through all nine months of pregnancy to the
- 3:50point of leaving abortion survivors to die.
- 3:53So let's pull up this document here.
- 3:55You guys were going to pull it up here in the studio so you can
- 3:57see what I'm reading from. But this is the evidence that
- 4:01shows the data that shows that the Minnesota statute in 2022.
- 4:07Well Tim Walls was governor and remains governor obviously to
- 4:10this day. Section one 45423 how he amended
- 4:13it in order to read that born alive survivors after an
- 4:18abortion attempt would be deprived medical care.
- 4:21This is from the Department of Health in the state of
- 4:23Minnesota. So we're reading, you know, from
- 4:26their 2022 report evaluating how abortions were done in the
- 4:31state. And this is from the states own
- 4:34report that we're looking at here.
- 4:36So it says the 2015 Minnesota Legislature enacted the Born
- 4:39Alive Infants Protection Act. It goes on to say that this text
- 4:42was amended because what Governor Walls did was amended
- 4:46the text in order to deprive for the calendar year.
- 4:50It says in order to deprive these children of life saving
- 4:53medical care. It says for the calendar year of
- 4:55January 1, 2021 through December 31st, 2021.
- 5:00So in one calendar Year, 5 abortion procedures resulted in
- 5:04a born alive infant. In one instance, fetal
- 5:07monomalies were reported resulting in death after
- 5:10delivery. No measures were taken to help
- 5:14the infant, and the infant did not survive.
- 5:17In instant 2, comfort care measures were provided.
- 5:19The infant did not survive. So just so you know here,
- 5:23comfort care measures could be as simple as putting a blanket
- 5:25over that baby instead of helping that baby breathe or
- 5:28giving that baby food. All right, according to
- 5:31whistleblower reports where some of these born alive babies are
- 5:34left to die, the babies are left in a maybe an operating room on
- 5:38a steel table, put a blanket over them and they can take
- 5:41sometimes up to a day or two to die because they're just left
- 5:45there. It's it's obviously medical
- 5:46neglect. They're not meeting their basic
- 5:49needs. So the pro abortion side would
- 5:50like to say, well, these babies were going to die anyways.
- 5:53If you refuse to feed them or help them breathe, yes the
- 5:56babies will die, but they deserve assistance, basic
- 6:00medical assistance, especially when they've just been, they've
- 6:03just been through a a horrific attempt on their life that they
- 6:06survived a late term abortion. It says in two instances the
- 6:09infants was pre viable. No, no measures were taken to
- 6:12preserve life and the infant did not survive.
- 6:15I think it's also important to note here that babies have
- 6:17survived as early as 21 weeks, 5 days with medical care.
- 6:21And tragically, a lot of hospitals, especially if they're
- 6:25going to be doing an abortion on the baby, they want to kill the
- 6:27baby anyways, are not going to be providing that NICU care,
- 6:31that intensive neonatal intensive care for the child
- 6:35because they're just going to leave the baby to die.
- 6:37So ultimately, 5 babies were not given medical care under Tim
- 6:42Walz's leadership and they were deprived medical care under his
- 6:46leadership because they failed to protect babies who survive
- 6:50abortion attempts. This should not surprise us
- 6:53though, because Tim Walz's record is in support of abortion
- 6:56through all nine months for any reason.
- 6:59His own law in his state says that abortion can be permitted
- 7:02provided a doctor signs off on it.
- 7:04That would be the abortionist who's making thousands of
- 7:06dollars on the abortion can be permitted and is elected for the
- 7:10up to the woman's decision. If she just decides what's best
- 7:13for herself and her health and the abortionist decides they can
- 7:16do that abortion. As you know, this idea of a
- 7:19woman's health can be used to justify any abortion provided
- 7:22the woman wants it, economic health, relational health,
- 7:25emotional health. And again, as long as that
- 7:27abortionist signs off, which they do, that late term abortion
- 7:30after the 9th month of pregnancy is legal, is permitted.
- 7:33We've had undercover investigators at live Action go
- 7:38into some of these late term abortion clinics nationally and
- 7:40say, can I have an abortion? I just, you know, it's for my
- 7:43emotional health and my relational health.
- 7:44I want this abortion. They're six months, seven months
- 7:47pregnant. And the abortion staff say, of
- 7:49course you can. We'll sign it, sign off on it.
- 7:52And in fact, in some of the clinics, they were saying and
- 7:54admitting to fabricating fetal anomalies.
- 7:57So they were lie on the paperwork and said that there
- 7:59were fetal defects in order to further justify the abortion on
- 8:02the books. But the point here stands that
- 8:04these babies, viable babies, are being killed legally by abortion
- 8:10in Tim Walz's own state under his watch.
- 8:12And he permits that even to the point of leaving babies who
- 8:15survive abortion attempts to die.
- 8:17Think about that. Think about how horrific that
- 8:20is. This is the position of the
- 8:23Walls Harris ticket. This is the position of the
- 8:26Democrat Party on abortion. And again, I'm, I'm grateful for
- 8:30the moderators and actually directly challenging Tim Walz
- 8:35with his position, which is so extreme that the vast majority
- 8:37of Americans are against abortion for any reason.
- 8:40Most Americans want abortion restrictions.
- 8:43You're not going to hear this in a lot of media reports.
- 8:45The media doesn't like to report on anything that makes pro-life
- 8:49look favorable. The media at large doesn't want
- 8:52to report on anything that indicates that people don't like
- 8:54abortion. A lot of media is captured by
- 8:57the pro abortion left and so they want to present abortion as
- 9:00something positive. So they're only going to tell
- 9:02sob stories to try to make abortion seem justifiable.
- 9:04Talk about how people are so pro-choice when you do the
- 9:07polling. The reality is the majority of
- 9:09Americans want abortion restrictions more.
- 9:12Jury of Americans do not support the Democrats platform on
- 9:15abortion, and they certainly do not support Tim Walz's position
- 9:19on abortion. So kudos to the moderator here
- 9:22for calling out Governor Walls on his abortion extremism here.
- 9:28Now remember, any abortion on any life, they're all horrible.
- 9:33These are human beings. A child at 19 weeks of the same
- 9:36moral value as a child at 25 weeks.
- 9:38A child at 5 weeks of the same moral value as a child at 35
- 9:42weeks. They're human beings.
- 9:44The only difference is their stage and development and how
- 9:47big they are. That's the difference.
- 9:49And all of them deserve their lives to be protected by law.
- 9:53That's what we're fighting for, so let's keep listening.
- 9:55Donald Trump put this all into motion.
- 9:58He brags about how great it was that he put the judges in and
- 10:02overturned Roe versus Wade, 52 years of personal autonomy.
- 10:06And then he tells us, oh, we send it to the states.
- 10:08It's a beautiful thing. Amanda Zaworski would disagree
- 10:12with you on It's a beautiful thing.
- 10:14A young bride in Texas waiting for their child at 18 weeks.
- 10:18She has a complication, a tear in the membrane.
- 10:20She needs to go in. The medical care at that point
- 10:23needs to be decided by the doctor, and that would have been
- 10:26an abortion. But in Texas, that would have
- 10:28put them in legal jeopardy. She went home, got sepsis,
- 10:32nearly dies, and now she may have difficulty having children
- 10:35or in Kentucky. Repeatedly the pro abortion side
- 10:40is trotting out these very tragic stories of women who may
- 10:43be miscarrying or have complications and claiming that
- 10:46the reason they're not getting care is because of somehow
- 10:48pro-life laws. That is flat out false.
- 10:50When you examine these stories and the story that he just
- 10:52mentioned as an example, the reality is in the state of
- 10:55Texas, an early delivery of a baby can be legal if there is a
- 11:00medical emergency. And in that case, everything
- 11:03would be be done to try to save the baby's life too, because
- 11:05that's that's real health care, seeing both the baby and the
- 11:09mother as patients. What has happened in some of
- 11:11these cases is women who are per SE miscarrying.
- 11:14Or we'll get to the case of Amber Thurman in a minute.
- 11:16Women who may be miscarrying, they might go in and be in the
- 11:19process of a miscarriage. And then the doctors will
- 11:23prescribe a certain procedure or medication or say, let's wait
- 11:27and see. And then if there's any other
- 11:29complications in their miscarriage after the fact, they
- 11:33will blame because they get involved with pro abortion
- 11:36activists who are looking for these cases to try to undermine
- 11:38pro-life laws. They will blame the pro-life law
- 11:41when the reality is the standard of care in that case is the same
- 11:45whether you're in California or Texas, a pro abortion state
- 11:48versus a pro-life state. We've unpacked this before in
- 11:50the podcast and it gets a little bit complicated, but the reality
- 11:53is there is not a single pro-life law on the books, not a
- 11:56single one that prevents miscarriage care or that
- 11:59prevents intervening if there is a life threatening medical
- 12:02emergency to do an early delivery where you're not trying
- 12:05to kill the baby in an abortion, but you're trying to save the
- 12:08life of both the baby and the mother.
- 12:11This is why in pro-life countries like Malta, the
- 12:15maternal mortality rate is extremely low compared to
- 12:18countries like the United States.
- 12:20Malta prohibits abortion and they have a pro-life ethic in
- 12:25their healthcare to care for both the patients and the
- 12:27mother. That's the way to do healthcare.
- 12:30That was the Hippocratic Oath, remember, do no harm, do no
- 12:33harm. And actually there was a part of
- 12:35that preamble too that had to do with not giving medication that
- 12:38would do an abortion. This has been in the practice of
- 12:41Western civilization of medicine.
- 12:43You go back to the early 2nd century, the Didiki do not give
- 12:48medication to commit an abortion.
- 12:50Do not commit an abortion. That's killing healthcare
- 12:54professionals should be in the business of protecting life,
- 12:57saving life. And we can do that for mothers
- 12:59and children. Of course, that's not the vision
- 13:02of the Democratic Party, tragically and increasingly some
- 13:05in the Republican Party. So let's keep watching Tim
- 13:08Walz's statement here. A 12 year old child raped and
- 13:12impregnated by her stepfather. Those are horrific.
- 13:16Now, when God asked about that, Senator Vance said two wrongs
- 13:19don't make a right. There is no right in this.
- 13:22So in Minnesota, what we did was restore Roe versus Wade.
- 13:27We made sure that we put women in charge of their healthcare.
- 13:30But look, this is not where if you don't know Amanda or a
- 13:34Hadley, you soon will. So he's just spitting off all of
- 13:38these different pro abortion talking points.
- 13:39But, you know, he's staying in my state of Minnesota.
- 13:41We enshrined Roe V Wade. He's admitting here without
- 13:45saying it directly that they permit abortion through all nine
- 13:48months in his state. It's absolutely horrific.
- 13:51And then he throws out some names.
- 13:52Amanda, he threw out the name Hadley.
- 13:54He's referring to Amanda Thurman, who we're going to talk
- 13:56about. And then he's also referring to
- 13:58or he's he's referring to Hadley.
- 14:00He's referring to a rape survivor, a young girl who has
- 14:03been used by the Democrats in some of their ads to promote
- 14:06abortion. When you unpack these stories
- 14:08again, you find the misleading nature of this narrative.
- 14:13You you find the lies that they're telling.
- 14:16And Hadley's story, when you unpack it, you find the horrible
- 14:19story of a young girl who was the victim of rape from her
- 14:22stepfather for years. She gets pregnant, the
- 14:25stepfather tries to drag her to an abortion clinic.
- 14:29She miscarries. She never had that abortion.
- 14:32And then she later on is now touting abortion as a solution
- 14:35to a rape or incest victim's plight.
- 14:39She never had one herself, and it was her abusive father who
- 14:44was going to make her have the abortion anyways.
- 14:47Think about that. The reality is killing a baby,
- 14:50even a baby conceived in rape, is never the solution to
- 14:53violence. You don't solve violence by
- 14:55adding more violence. And there's a reason they're not
- 14:57using a rape survivor who had an abortion as their poster child,
- 15:01because many rape survivors who have abortions regret them.
- 15:05And they felt in many ways, they were told that this would help
- 15:09them heal when the abortion didn't help them heal, it just
- 15:12hurt them more. And why would that be the case?
- 15:15Because the horror and the violence of a rape is not undone
- 15:20by an abortion. The horror and violence of a
- 15:22rape is only added to by the horror and the violence of an
- 15:26abortion. This is why here Tim Walls is
- 15:30referring to a comment that JD Vance has made in the past,
- 15:32which I thought was a good and strong comment from JD Vance in
- 15:35the past, that two wrongs don't make a right.
- 15:38When there's a horrible case of rape or incest and there's a
- 15:41pregnancy, there's a new life that's been conceived.
- 15:44The solution there is not to commit another violence and
- 15:47trauma of killing that baby. That baby is innocent.
- 15:50They are not responsible for the crime of his or her father.
- 15:54We got to keep the rapist accountable.
- 15:57It's very tragic to me that in these conversations, especially
- 16:00when they're being said by Democrat politicians and
- 16:02sometimes Republican politicians now, there is all of this
- 16:05emphasis on the way to handle rape by doing abortions as
- 16:09opposed to the way to fight rape is to ensure there's justice for
- 16:14the victim and justice against the perpetrator.
- 16:17And that we have stronger penalties for those who commit
- 16:19violence instead of taking the penalty out on the innocent
- 16:23third party, which is this baby. There was a powerful story, by
- 16:26the way, in The New Yorker. Let's see if we can pull this up
- 16:28actually about my friend Rebecca Keesling.
- 16:30I just want to share this with you guys really quick.
- 16:32I think it's powerful. Rebecca Keesling is a dear
- 16:34friend of mine, attorney, a mother, very powerful woman,
- 16:38very beautiful soul. And she was conceived in a
- 16:40violent rape. She was actually, her mother was
- 16:43the victim of a violent rape. And so she goes around the
- 16:46country. And this woman, Rebecca
- 16:48Keesling, my friend, has started this organization called Save
- 16:51the One. She's talking about the 1% of
- 16:54cases of abortion that are done because of rape, incest or
- 16:57medical emergency. And she calls it Save the One
- 17:00because she's saying even in these 1% of cases where these
- 17:03horrible things happen like rape or incest, they're still human
- 17:06beings and lives that deserve that deserve protection.
- 17:09And she says, Rebecca says, why should I be given the death
- 17:14penalty for the crime of my father because she was conceived
- 17:18in rape? Why should she get the death
- 17:20penalty? But, you know, in America, we
- 17:22don't even give the death penalty to rapists.
- 17:24It's actually against federal law to give that kind of a
- 17:27penalty to a rapist. And yet you have these
- 17:30politicians, even Donald Trump and here Tim Walls, of course,
- 17:33arguing for abortion in cases of rape.
- 17:35We need to flip the narrative on this and fight back strongly
- 17:38against it because it is a lie that abortion after rape will
- 17:42heal in any way of rape victim. And it is also a lie that
- 17:46abortion after rape will in any way help anyone because all that
- 17:51it does is kill an innocent third party, that new and
- 17:54developing child. OK, let's keep listening to
- 17:57Wells's next comments here. Registry of pregnancies.
- 18:01It's going to make it more difficult, if not impossible, to
- 18:04get contraception and limit access, if not eliminate access
- 18:08to infertility treatments. For so many of you out there
- 18:10listening, me included, infertility treatments are why I
- 18:13have a child. That's nobody else's business,
- 18:16but those things are being proposed.
- 18:19We're fact checking walls here left and right.
- 18:20But he's saying, well, they're opposing in for they're opposing
- 18:23fertility treatments. They're opposing fertility
- 18:25treatments. This is code in now political
- 18:28speak for IVF, in vitro fertilization.
- 18:31There are many fertility treatments that don't involve
- 18:34creating new lives and multiple new lives in a Petri dish, then
- 18:38freezing many of them indefinitely, then destroying
- 18:41some of them, then donating some of them for human
- 18:43experimentation. The tragic cases that many
- 18:46people aren't aware of is that IVF has led to 1,000,000 frozen
- 18:51embryos. These aren't just the building
- 18:52blocks for life, these are the actual individual new human
- 18:54lives that are indefinitely frozen right now because of the
- 18:57IVF industry. And IVF can be very painful and
- 19:00difficult for the mother. For the woman, it can lead to
- 19:04the miscarriages and abortions of up to 93% of the babies
- 19:08created via IVF. It is highly dangerous for the
- 19:11babies, it is very painful for the mother, and it's highly
- 19:15expensive. It's 30 to $60,000 to achieve a
- 19:19live birth via IVF. What we should be promoting is
- 19:23restorative approaches to fertility treatments.
- 19:26That's never talked about by Tim Walz or even by unfortunately,
- 19:29Donald Trump or JD Vance these days.
- 19:31I wonder why I'm trying to get the information out there.
- 19:34And we've been passing the information on to the campaigns
- 19:36that there are other ways, ethical ways to achieve a baby
- 19:42and do it via using restorative methods to work with the health,
- 19:46improving the health of the mother and the father to treat
- 19:49infertility. We do not need to use the
- 19:51unethical IVF industry to do this.
- 19:55And you know, we're going to keep working on this.
- 19:57But I think one of the reasons the IVF industry is so powerful
- 20:01and. Politics is because you're
- 20:02talking about billions of dollars.
- 20:04It's a very big industry. Just like complaints are made
- 20:08about big Pharma having all of this control over the Food and
- 20:11Drug Administration and all of this control.
- 20:14You know, during, you know, you could talk about vaccines, you
- 20:16can talk about all of the the different things that people are
- 20:19concerned about where big business interests take over
- 20:22what's best for the person. That is absolutely what's
- 20:25happening with infertility in this country.
- 20:27But no one's talking about it on the national stage yet because
- 20:31it's easier and more popular with your potentially big pharma
- 20:36donors or big IVF donors just to go the route of we're going to
- 20:40pay for IVF, which is unfortunately what President
- 20:43Trump has come out in support of former President Trump that he
- 20:45would pay you would make it tax funded and mandated to fund IVF.
- 20:50So anyways, obviously Walls is making an accusation here that
- 20:53doesn't actually amount to anything because President
- 20:57Donald Trump has supported IVF. But the reality here is we
- 21:00should be pursuing restorative approaches to fertility that are
- 21:04ethical, that can actually achieve the same amount of live
- 21:07births. I mean, the beautiful thing
- 21:09about restorative approaches to infertility is it can be as
- 21:12successful as IVF without the ethical issues.
- 21:16And so I want to encourage you guys to go check out a lot of
- 21:18the episodes I've done recently on this, particularly with
- 21:21Doctor Lauren Rubalt, one of my dear friends.
- 21:23She was a former IVF doctor. She actually used to practice
- 21:27IVF. Now she does restorative
- 21:29healthcare to treat infertility and has amazing success.
- 21:32So check out those episodes. Well, let's keep listening.
- 21:34Yes, well the states will decide what's right for Texas might not
- 21:38be right for Washington. That's not how this works.
- 21:41This is basic human right. We have seen maternal mortality
- 21:46skyrocket in Texas, outpacing many other countries in the
- 21:50world. This is about healthcare.
- 21:52In Minnesota, we are ranked 1st in healthcare.
- 21:54This is another false talking point, another lie from Tim
- 21:57Walls, which is to say that well, there's poor maternal
- 22:00mortality rates in in Texas and that's because of because of
- 22:03pro-life laws. There is 0 evidence for this
- 22:05doesn't provide any evidence because there isn't any
- 22:07evidence. Maternal mortality rates in
- 22:10Texas seem to have made a decline in the last few years,
- 22:15but many can say that's due to COVID and due to the risk of
- 22:20mothers who are pregnant with COVID.
- 22:23The other part of that too is, is the reality that in in
- 22:25medical coding when it comes to pregnancy and miscarriage, many
- 22:31times if a woman is actually her life is endangered because of
- 22:35abortion, the medical coding meaning an abortion gone wrong.
- 22:39Like the case of Amanda of Amber Thurman or the case of say,
- 22:43Tanya Reeves who was killed in a Planned Parenthood in Chicago in
- 22:462012. Their cases instead of being
- 22:49coded as abortion is what hurt them or killed them.
- 22:52Their cases will be coded as pregnancy complications killed
- 22:55them. So what you see is this
- 22:57inflation of medical coding that indicates that it's actually
- 23:00just pregnancy that is dangerous when it actually was the
- 23:03abortion that is dangerous. Of course, none of this is being
- 23:07shared by Tim Walls. It would undercut his whole
- 23:09point that abortion is somehow good.
- 23:11But he's misleading the viewers here the the electorate here and
- 23:15how he's presenting. A reason we trust women.
- 23:18We trust doctors. Senator, do you want to respond
- 23:20to the governor's claim? Will you create a federal
- 23:22pregnancy monitoring agency? No, nor certainly we won't.
- 23:26And I want to talk about this issue because I.
- 23:28Let's pause this here. I I want to just preface this
- 23:30here because obviously I was watching this last night and
- 23:32live tweeting it. If you guys are online watching
- 23:35my Twitter feed or on Twitter yourselves, you will have seen
- 23:37her on X Listen, JD Vance had a great opportunity here.
- 23:41He could have knocked it out of the park and what you're going
- 23:43to see, we're going to comment on what he did.
- 23:45But you know, and I get it, a lot of people, they want to
- 23:48cheer for the Not Harris Walls team because Harrison Walls on
- 23:52abortion are despicable. They support abortion through
- 23:54all nine months for any reason. But I have to remind us that the
- 23:58Republican Party's plank on this for the last four decades has
- 24:02been 100% pro-life. And just a few months ago, Trump
- 24:06under his influence, ultimately forced the delegates to change
- 24:10the Republican Party plank to permit some abortion, to say
- 24:14that the states can permit abortion, adding in IVF, adding
- 24:17in birth control. They also removed traditional
- 24:19marriage from the party. And so there's this new
- 24:21narrative, this new talking point that some Republicans, not
- 24:24all, but some Republicans are now touting on abortion.
- 24:28They're basically trying to somehow make peace with some of
- 24:31the pro abortion side. And I wanted to start by saying
- 24:35here, pro abortion voters are already voting for Kamala and
- 24:40for Tim, for Walls and for Harris.
- 24:42Pro abortion voters are already going to back the Harris Walls
- 24:46ticket. When Vance and Trump try to
- 24:50throw pro-life movement under the bus to say that they support
- 24:53some abortion so that they're for abortion, try to soften
- 24:56their position on abortion like they just forced the RNC to
- 24:58soften the platform on life. They're not winning moderates.
- 25:02They're not winning anyone. And people say, well, they're
- 25:05doing this because we lost in the 2020 election because of
- 25:08life. And there's this whole narrative
- 25:10that when pro-life is stated, then it's a losing issue.
- 25:13And that's simply false. The reality is in the 2020
- 25:17midterm, there were many passionately pro-life candidates
- 25:21that one, some of them in landslides, their elections.
- 25:24An example of this, of course, would be Governor Ron DeSantis
- 25:27in a purple state, one in a landslide.
- 25:30And he was strong on life. He wasn't backing down saying he
- 25:33supports, you know, some states to do abortion and text and and
- 25:37Florida, you know, he wants them to have abortions in Florida.
- 25:40He was saying that he was strongly pro-life.
- 25:43The reality is the strongly pro-life message is a winning
- 25:46message if you're willing to speak it, if you're willing to
- 25:49call abortion what it is. Abortion is the dismemberment.
- 25:53It's the lethal injection. It's the starving to death via
- 25:56abortion pills of a new human life and killing a baby.
- 26:01Call abortion what it is. It's killing a baby.
- 26:03Killing a baby is never the solution to any problem.
- 26:07We have to protect our sons and daughters.
- 26:08We have to protect our children. That can be such a winning
- 26:11message. We have to reject the abortion
- 26:13extremism of the left of the Democrats.
- 26:16That's what I was waiting to hear or hoping to hear from JD
- 26:19Vance. And by the way, that kind of
- 26:22language is what helped JD Vance get his seat in the Senate.
- 26:26He used to say very strongly pro-life things.
- 26:28He got 100% pro-life record from some pro-life group because he
- 26:32was passionately pro-life life. But now in just the last few
- 26:36weeks since becoming a couple months since becoming the pick
- 26:39for VP, he's done a 180 on life. And so you're going to see some
- 26:43of that here. Americans care about, and I know
- 26:46a lot of Americans don't agree with everything that I've ever
- 26:49said on this topic. And, you know, I grew up in a
- 26:52working class family in a neighborhood where I knew a lot
- 26:54of young women who had unplanned pregnancies and decided to
- 26:57terminate those pregnancies because they feel like they
- 26:59didn't have any other options. And, you know, I, I, one of them
- 27:03is actually very dear to me. And I know she's watching
- 27:05tonight and I love you. And she told me something a
- 27:09couple years ago that she felt like if she hadn't had that
- 27:12abortion, that it would have destroyed her life because she
- 27:14was in an abusive relationship. And I think that what I take
- 27:18from that as a Republican who proudly wants to protect
- 27:21innocent life in this country, who proudly wants to protect the
- 27:24vulnerable, is that my party, we've got to do so much better
- 27:27of a job at earning the American people's trust back on this
- 27:31issue where they frankly just don't trust us.
- 27:34And I think that's one of the things that Donald Trump and I
- 27:36are endeavoring to do. I want us as a.
- 27:40Let's pause it here. So what is so sad about what JD
- 27:43Vance is doing here is because he's the one story he tells, the
- 27:46one story he chooses to tell, he's supposed to be the pro-life
- 27:48candidate is about a woman that had an abortion that feels like
- 27:51that abortion helped her right. Of course he didn't tell the
- 27:54thousands and even millions of stories he could have told about
- 27:57the women who regret their abortions bitterly.
- 28:00I I've interviewed probably over 1000 now, talked over 1000 now
- 28:03in the last decade about women who are deeply wounded by their
- 28:09abortions. Those women in their stories,
- 28:11they never make heat media headlines.
- 28:13They're not allowed to really tell their stories in polite
- 28:16society because the prevailing narrative, the narrative of the
- 28:18pro abortion side and Planned Parenthood is that abortion is
- 28:21good for you. It's great, it's empowering,
- 28:23have your abortion. And so he's using the story of
- 28:25his friend who for whatever reason, in her trauma, she was
- 28:28in an abusive relationship, in her memory and recollection of
- 28:32that time in her life is saying, well, it's good I have that
- 28:34abortion. Maybe talk to her in another 10
- 28:36or 20 years when the anniversaries roll by again and
- 28:40when that baby would have had their birthday, when that baby
- 28:42would have been born. Abuse struggles are, you know,
- 28:48inconveniences, disabilities. None of these are justifications
- 28:52for taking an innocent human life.
- 28:54We are never better off by killing our babies.
- 28:56We are never better off better off by killing our children.
- 28:59Abortion wounds. It never liberates.
- 29:01The message here could have been so strong from JD Vance to say,
- 29:04listen, there are millions of women who voices, whose voices
- 29:06aren't heard, who regret the pain of their abortions, who
- 29:09regret it. We need to defend life.
- 29:11We need to protect human beings. Life begins at fertilization.
- 29:14These are human lives. Science is clear on this.
- 29:17Abortion is the lethal dismemberment, the starving to
- 29:20death. Abortion is the lethal
- 29:22injections in the later term of of human beings, of innocent
- 29:26children. These are our children.
- 29:28We got to defend them. And the Democrats want to kill
- 29:30them through all nine months. It is disgusting and
- 29:32unacceptable that that that was like the old JD, right?
- 29:36This new JD. And you can kind of tell he kind
- 29:39of loses his energy here. He gets very, you know, self,
- 29:42you know, apologetic. He's kind of, you know, beating
- 29:44him himself up in a way. You know, I have inside
- 29:47knowledge that the people advising JD right now, they're
- 29:51not pro-life. There are people that don't care
- 29:54about this issue that themselves support abortion.
- 29:57And so they want to persuade JD and Trump.
- 30:00And I think Trump himself is in support of abortion.
- 30:02He himself is not personally pro-life.
- 30:05And they want to persuade them that you got to you got to do
- 30:07this. The reality is JD Vance is not
- 30:10winning any voters by going to the left on abortion.
- 30:14He's only losing his own base. He's losing his opportunity to
- 30:18differentiate himself from the radical extremism of the pro
- 30:21abortion side. He's he's I believe it's immoral
- 30:24what they're doing here to throw babies under the bus and this
- 30:28might cost them the election. You know, I hear from thousands
- 30:31of people who are watching this play out.
- 30:33The base, the the former passionate pro-life base, who's
- 30:37going to say, I want to vote for the candidate that's going to be
- 30:39a fighter for life. Remember, the President Trump
- 30:42spoke at the March for Life. JD Vance was 100% pro-life
- 30:45senator. If we had those candidates
- 30:47again, I think the base would be so excited, so galvanized, so
- 30:51ready to get out the vote. But I talk to people everyday,
- 30:54multiple people who express how upset they are at this leftward
- 30:59turn that Vance and Trump are making and this doubling down on
- 31:04their support of abortions that they are doing.
- 31:06And I think it is a huge mistake.
- 31:09People, some people are saying, Lila, you're, you're, you're,
- 31:12you're suppressing the vote by talking like this, by saying
- 31:15this. The only people suppressing
- 31:17their own vote right now are the miscalculations, the fatal,
- 31:21potentially fatal miscalculations that Vance and
- 31:24Trump are making to moderate to go to the left on abortion.
- 31:29Again, they are not winning any new votes this way.
- 31:32They only stand to lose them. And I've been warning them again
- 31:36and again that that if you keep going this route, it's going to
- 31:38hurt you on Election Day. And unfortunately, the
- 31:41performance we saw, probably because of the pro abortion
- 31:44consultants that they have, was, I believe, damaging to their
- 31:49campaign in this part of the debate.
- 31:51Again, Vance was strong on so many other issues according to a
- 31:54lot of the base, but in this part he had his some of his
- 31:57weakest moments. All right, let's keep listening.
- 32:00The Republican Party to be pro family in the fullest sense of
- 32:03the word. I want us to support fertility
- 32:05treatments. I want us to make it easier for
- 32:07moms to afford to have babies. I want it to make it easier for
- 32:10young families to afford a home so they can afford a place to
- 32:14raise that family. And I think there's so much that
- 32:16we can do on the public policy front just to give women more
- 32:20options. Now, of course, Donald Trump has
- 32:23been very clear that on the abortion policy specifically,
- 32:26that we have a big country and it's diverse.
- 32:29And California has a different viewpoint on this than Georgia.
- 32:32Georgia has a different viewpoint from Arizona.
- 32:35And the proper way to handle this, as messy as democracy
- 32:38sometimes is, is to let voters make these decisions.
- 32:42Let the I. Mean here it is just crazy to
- 32:46me. Here Vance is saying let
- 32:48California vote to have abortion through all nine months.
- 32:51Let it let let like the federal role federal law has.
- 32:54No, there's no role that they have let them, let them
- 32:57basically permit the killing of babies through all nine months
- 33:00and then he's going to get to, you know, there's no federal
- 33:03action here. We're not going to stop it.
- 33:05We're not going to stop it when a state like California or Tim
- 33:09Walz Estate is going to commit abortion through all nine
- 33:11months. Imagine if the early the
- 33:14abolitionists during the time of slavery and the politicians who
- 33:17were claiming to be for abolition said actually, no, let
- 33:21the states do their slavery thing, let them do it.
- 33:23It's not a big deal. Let them do it.
- 33:25It's their right as opposed to no, Everyone has the right to be
- 33:28free. Everyone has the right to not be
- 33:30enslaved. The pro-life position of
- 33:33everyone has the right to life is not some opinion.
- 33:37It's a constitutional right that we all have.
- 33:40Our own constitution under the 14th Amendment specifically
- 33:43states equal protection for all persons and says that no right,
- 33:47no state has the right to deprive life of any person
- 33:51without due process. What's happening in California
- 33:54is unconstitutional. They're depriving children of
- 33:58their right to live without due process.
- 34:00This could have been a powerful moment for JD Vance to speak up
- 34:03for those that are the most vulnerable, and unfortunately,
- 34:06he chose a different path. Let's keep listening.
- 34:09Individual states make their abortion policy, and I think
- 34:12that's what makes the most sense in a very big, a very diverse,
- 34:15and let's be honest, sometimes a very, very messy and divided
- 34:19country. Governor, would you like to
- 34:20respond and also answer the question about restrictions?
- 34:23Yeah, well, the question got asked when Donald Trump made the
- 34:26accusation that wasn't true about Minnesota.
- 34:28Well, let me tell you about this idea that there's diverse
- 34:31states. There's a young woman named
- 34:33Amber Thurman. She happened to be in Georgia, a
- 34:36restrictive state. Because of that, she had to
- 34:38travel a long distance to North Carolina to try and get her
- 34:43care. Amber Thurman died in that
- 34:47journey back and forth. The fact of the matter is, how
- 34:50can we as a nation say that your life and your rights, as basic
- 34:56as the right to control your own body, is determined on
- 35:00geography? There's a very real chance that
- 35:03Amber Thurman lived in Minnesota.
- 35:05She would be alive today. That's why the restoration of
- 35:09Roe versus Wade. When you listen to Vice
- 35:11President Harris talk about this subject and you hear me talk
- 35:13about it, you hear us talking exactly the same.
- 35:16Donald Trump is trying to figure out how to get the political
- 35:19right of this. I agree with a lot of what
- 35:20Senator Vance said about what's happening.
- 35:22His running mate, though, does not, And that's the problem.
- 35:25Governor, your time is up, Senator, Let me ask you about
- 35:27that. He mentioned was, I think,
- 35:29referring to a national ban. In the past you have supported a
- 35:32federal ban on abortion after 15 weeks.
- 35:36In fact you said if someone can't support legislation like
- 35:39that quote, you are making the United States the most barbaric
- 35:43pro abortion regime anywhere in the entire world.
- 35:46My question is why have you changed your position?
- 35:49Well, Nora, first of all, I never supported a national ban.
- 35:53I did during when I was running for Senate in 2022.
- 35:55Talk about setting some minimum national standard, for example.
- 35:58JD Vance had a great opportunity here because Tim Walz just
- 36:03shared one of the worst recent pieces of pro abortion
- 36:05falsehoods and propaganda that is swarming the Internet right
- 36:09now, which is that Amber Thurman died because of pro-life laws
- 36:13and if she had been alive in Minnesota and in his state, she
- 36:15might not have died. Amber Thurman died because of
- 36:19complications from taking the legalized abortion pill.
- 36:23There's a black, black box warning on the abortion pill and
- 36:27one of the consequences of taking that lethal drug can be
- 36:31sepsis infection that can be fatal.
- 36:34That's what happened to Amber Thurman.
- 36:36And she was at the hospital with her health rapidly declining and
- 36:39they were trying to save her life and they couldn't because
- 36:41of sepsis, because of the abortion pill which killed her
- 36:45twin babies and then killed her. This would have been a great
- 36:48opportunity for JD to just come out swinging against walls.
- 36:51Lies. He's lying here bald faced lies
- 36:55on a national debate stage. And that would have been
- 36:58powerful, powerful moment where he could have seized the moral
- 37:01high ground. Instead, he goes down this path
- 37:04of saying, well, I actually don't know that I do support
- 37:07abortion bans. In fact, that's not exactly what
- 37:09I said. And maybe I would support a
- 37:10little bit of 1, you know, maybe on some age requirements or, you
- 37:14know, the baby a certain age with the baby being that I would
- 37:17permit, then I would prohibit abortion.
- 37:19I mean, he just, he's kind of fumbling here because he's on
- 37:22the defensive. You see, when you go on the
- 37:24defense of like, like JD Vance unfortunately is doing here, you
- 37:27lose the moral high ground, you lose the plot.
- 37:30And I think people can smell it that there's weakness here.
- 37:33And it's like, it's like blood in the water.
- 37:35And so the Democrats who should have the moral low ground, I
- 37:39mean, it's so evil. What is being supported by Tim
- 37:42Walls? He's lying about Amber Thurman.
- 37:44He supports abortion through all nine months.
- 37:46He supports allowing born alive babies to die.
- 37:49The guy is as radical as you can get on abortion.
- 37:51And JD Vance could have come out winging in this moment.
- 37:54Instead, he's on the defensive at a moment when he could have
- 37:57been the most strongly on the offensive.
- 38:00And this is what I'm seeing again and again from,
- 38:01unfortunately, President, former President Trump and JD Vance and
- 38:05some Republicans, not all, again, who are buying this lie
- 38:08that they have to moderate on abortion.
- 38:09Moderating on abortion like this is not going to make you win.
- 38:13It's actually going to hurt your ability to persuade people and
- 38:16it's going to really make your base upset because you're not
- 38:20being honest. So that's what we're seeing
- 38:22here. And again, it would
- 38:23disappointing. And I was on I was on X and
- 38:25everyone's kind of screaming on X like debunk the Amber Thurman
- 38:28lie. Come on, JD Vance.
- 38:30Like she was killed because of abortion, not because of a
- 38:33pro-life law. In fact, if if abortion pills
- 38:35have been illegal and and they weren't on the market, Amber
- 38:38would probably be alive today and her twins would be alive.
- 38:41But it was because of abortion that she and her twins died.
- 38:44That's what what would have been a powerful response from Vance,
- 38:46but we didn't see her. Let's keep listening.
- 38:49In place in this country at the federal level, I don't think
- 38:51anybody is trying to get rid of that, or at least I hope not,
- 38:54though I know that Democrats have taken a very radical pro
- 38:56abortion stance. But Nora, you know one of the
- 38:58things that changed. Federal pro-life law.
- 39:01I mean, it's just a it's just a complete tragedy.
- 39:04This this one 180 turn that has been taken.
- 39:09It used to be, yes, of course there's a constitutional right
- 39:11to life. Of course we have to protect
- 39:13children. But now the media is just
- 39:15there's, there's swarms and swarms of lies that are being
- 39:18told by unfortunately walls and others.
- 39:21And the Republican response, instead of saying this is a lie,
- 39:24like we're going to fight for the truth here and fight for
- 39:26life. These are lies that are fear
- 39:27mongering women. The response from some
- 39:29Republicans here and again, because of pro abortion
- 39:31consultants is to say, well, you're right.
- 39:34We're going to we're going to moderate on this.
- 39:35You can have some abortions. I want to go to next.
- 39:39You know, the debate obviously went on, but I want to go next
- 39:42to President Trump's comments after the debate and talk about
- 39:47that because I think it's really important.
- 39:48So after the debate was concluded, President Trump is
- 39:51live on X and he's making this statement.
- 39:55So I'm going to read it here. It was the president, former
- 39:57President Donald Trump. He says everyone knows.
- 39:59And it's on all caps on Twitter, on X, and I think it was on
- 40:02Truth Social too. He says everyone knows.
- 40:04I would not support a federal abortion ban under any
- 40:08circumstances. That is signaling I wouldn't
- 40:11even ban abortion. In the late term at the federal
- 40:14level, let California do their thing.
- 40:16I mean, it's it this is, this is a as left-leaning as you can get
- 40:20to say I don't want any abortion restrictions.
- 40:23That's where President Trump is. He continues.
- 40:25I would not support a federal abortion ban under any
- 40:28circumstances and would in fact veto it.
- 40:31So even if Republicans did this incredible job in the House and
- 40:36the Senate of getting a, a pro-life law to the president,
- 40:38he's saying he would veto it. He goes on.
- 40:42I mean, this is like, this is like the pro abortion person's
- 40:44dream. They're probably like jumping
- 40:45out of the sheets, like maybe I should vote for Donald Trump.
- 40:47The, the, the, the pro boards. They're not going to do that
- 40:49obviously, because Kamala is 100% for them already.
- 40:53But Donald Trump is sounding a lot like Kamala here.
- 40:55He goes on to say, I would in fact veto it because it is up to
- 40:59the states to decide based on the will of their voters.
- 41:01Like Ronald Reagan before me, I fully support the three
- 41:05exceptions for rape, incest and the life of the mother.
- 41:07I do not support the Democrats radical position of late term
- 41:10abortion. Trump does at the federal level.
- 41:14He's saying he would not prohibit it as an example in the
- 41:177th, 8th or 9th month of or in the case or in case there's any
- 41:21question, the possibility of execution of the baby after
- 41:23birth. Thank you for your attention to
- 41:25this matter. So I want to just address this
- 41:29here. He's done this multiple times,
- 41:31President Trump, where he talks about Ronald Reagan and he says
- 41:34that he thinks Ronald Reagan's exceptions were these this great
- 41:37thing and he wants to have exceptions like Ronald Reagan.
- 41:40Did you know that Ronald Reagan actually regrets those
- 41:43exceptions. These are exceptions that he's
- 41:46talking about. When Ronald Reagan was the
- 41:47governor in the state of California, and California used
- 41:49to be a pro-life state back in the day.
- 41:51And it was a Republican governor who created exceptions in their
- 41:56pro-life law to permit abortion in the cases of rape, incest and
- 42:00the life health of the mother And Ronald Reagan himself.
- 42:03We're going to pull up this article if we can.
- 42:05Ronald Reagan himself later on would say that it was him
- 42:10permitting these exceptions to abortion that opened the
- 42:13floodgates to abortion. And it's a very powerful.
- 42:17This is a an article from the New York Times.
- 42:20What year is this on here? You guys can see it.
- 42:22This was from 1976. So this is in just a few years
- 42:27after he made the decision as governor to legalize abortion
- 42:31when Ronald Reagan was governor of California.
- 42:34And it talks about how he regrets being in support of
- 42:38these exceptions because he realized that the support of
- 42:42exceptions actually opened the floodgates to abortion.
- 42:45And this is the fact. Let's let's go down the logical
- 42:48rabbit trail. Hare of what?
- 42:49Why this is the reality is if you say it's OK to kill a baby
- 42:53if the baby's father is abusive or you say it's OK to kill a
- 42:56baby because of some, you know, condition that the mother says
- 42:59she has maybe an emotional health condition or some other
- 43:01condition, you can rationalize most abortions.
- 43:06You are now undercutting the case for life.
- 43:09You're undercutting the idea of an inviolable, you cannot
- 43:12violate the right to life. And you're saying, well, yeah,
- 43:15in some cases you can kill an innocent person if there are
- 43:18enough of a burden or enough of a psychological burden on their
- 43:24mother. In the case of rape or incest,
- 43:26they're enough of a psychological burden you can
- 43:28kill. Or in the case of some sort of
- 43:30health issue, the mother may have there enough of a physical
- 43:33or emotional burden so you can kill.
- 43:36And Ronald Reagan was admitting that actually because of these
- 43:40exceptions that he permitted. I mean, he didn't legalize
- 43:43abortion for only months for any reason on paper in California.
- 43:46But what happened when he wrote in the Rape, Incest and Life
- 43:49Health of the mother exceptions was that now the doctors, these
- 43:54abortionists could sign off on any abortion provided the woman
- 43:58wanted it, using these exceptions.
- 44:01And so this is the state of America today.
- 44:04The state of America today is we are being inconsistent logically
- 44:09and we're not being humane to either the mother or the child
- 44:13by resorting to violence, saying that the violence of abortion is
- 44:16somehow the solution to any number of issues.
- 44:19And that ideology that that that view of abortion in some cases
- 44:24is good, only leads to the crisis we have today, which is
- 44:29abortion effectively on demand, 3000 lives taken every day by
- 44:34abortion. And so when Donald Trump uses
- 44:37Ronald Reagan as some sort of justification for his
- 44:40exceptions, when Ronald Reagan regretted his own actions, I
- 44:44think that's dishonest. He's not telling the whole story
- 44:46there. And he's trying to basically use
- 44:48the good name of Ronald Reagan to ingratiate himself with
- 44:52Republican voters to say, well, listen, this is what Ronald
- 44:55Reagan did. Well, Ronald Reagan regretted
- 44:57the way he governed in California on abortion.
- 45:00And I believe if JD Vance looks back on this maybe a decade from
- 45:04now on, this really downward spiral that the Trump Vance
- 45:08ticket is, is is operating on is going on, he may regret his
- 45:12actions here too. This this position of saying,
- 45:17yes, some abortions are fine. Sometimes killing the baby is
- 45:20fine. We're going to do that.
- 45:22It's not, you know, let the states do what they want.
- 45:24This is not the just or loving decision or position for the
- 45:31Trump fans ticket to take. And unfortunately, this is what
- 45:34we see them doubling down on. So you guys are probably
- 45:36wondering, we're going to wrap here in a moment, but what can
- 45:38we do? Listen, it, it, it is, it's
- 45:41tragic what's happening. And again, I know I'm, I'm in a
- 45:45conversation with so many people who are upset about what's
- 45:48happening. The IVF mandate, the softening
- 45:51on traditional marriage, the support for some abortions via
- 45:54the abortion pill, the insistence that, you know, like
- 45:57California do what they want. We wouldn't lift a finger at the
- 45:59federal level like these. This is not a winning message
- 46:03for the base, and the political calculation that I believe
- 46:06they're making is a bad one. And it's also the wrong thing to
- 46:10do. So I think increasingly, the
- 46:12campaign needs to hear from us, from voters.
- 46:15Make your voices loud and clear. Stop doing this.
- 46:18This is not OK. Stop throwing the right to life
- 46:22under the bust. These are human beings.
- 46:24They're human lives that are at stake.
- 46:26And women, the cause of women is not served by embracing the
- 46:31narrative that killing our babies is the path to
- 46:35empowerment. We can and we must do better for
- 46:39our children and for women. That is and must be our
- 46:45position. And I believe that message when
- 46:47it's when it's shared, when, when we when we tell the stories
- 46:50of Rebecca Keesling, when we talk about The Who who was
- 46:53conceived in rape, when we talk about the violence of what
- 46:56abortion actually is, when we talk about the beauty of a
- 46:58developing human life, that little boy or girl with their
- 47:01heart beating at just 3 1/2 weeks, that sound of that
- 47:04beautiful heartbeat and how we have to protect that heartbeat.
- 47:07I believe that is a powerful and winning message.
- 47:10All right, we're going to close in prayer here, guys, as we have
- 47:13done in a lot of these lives, because this is heavy stuff and
- 47:15a lot is at stake here. So this is the Chaplet of Divine
- 47:18Mercy prayer. We've been doing 1 decade of the
- 47:21Divine Mercy prayer. So we're going to start in the
- 47:23name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
- 47:26This is to pray for mercy on our country and for the protection
- 47:30of all children. And we'll start with the Eternal
- 47:32Father, and then the 10 shorter prayers.
- 47:35Eternal Father, Ioffer you the body and blood, soul and
- 47:38divinity of your dearly beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, in
- 47:42atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.
- 47:45For the sake of His sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and on
- 47:48the whole world. For the sake of His sorrowful
- 47:51passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
- 47:54For the sake of His sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and on
- 47:57the whole world. For the sake of His sorrowful
- 48:00passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
- 48:03For the sake of His sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and on
- 48:06the whole world. For the sake of His sorrowful
- 48:08passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
- 48:12For the sake of His sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and on
- 48:15the whole world. For the sake of His sorrowful
- 48:17passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
- 48:20For the sake of His sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and on
- 48:23the whole world. For the sake of His sorrowful
- 48:26passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
