- 2:04Speaker 1: Good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice.
- 2:07Speaker 3: Come on now, digno want and only Steve Hardy got
- 2:13Speaker 3: what radio show man?
- 2:16Speaker 6: What you're doing with it? Trying to do the very
- 2:18Speaker 6: very best I can with it? I really am.
- 2:21Speaker 3: You know, I get tired sometimes on my journey. I'm
- 2:24Speaker 3: not gonna kid you. Trying to make something about yourself
- 2:30Speaker 3: is a task. If you want to attempt to do
- 2:35Speaker 3: something and and and understand going in that that the
- 2:41Speaker 3: if the thing you're trying to do is to improve yourself,
- 2:45Speaker 3: to better your position, to better your relationship, your family, anything,
- 2:52Speaker 3: you're trying to be a better you. You're trying to
- 2:55Speaker 3: make more money, you're trying to get it together, you're
- 2:59Speaker 3: trying to change if any of those things are in
- 3:04Speaker 3: your hopes and dreams. Know this right here, you are
- 3:09Speaker 3: about to face some challenges. But you might as well
- 3:14Speaker 3: go ahead anyway and face those challenges, because if you don't,
- 3:19Speaker 3: you have a whole other set of challenges to face.
- 3:22Speaker 1: You know.
- 3:23Speaker 3: It's it's an amazing thing, man, how people sit around
- 3:27Speaker 3: and they watch other people strike out to become successful.
- 3:31Speaker 3: They sit in the stands watching these people play out
- 3:34Speaker 3: these games, and they and they, and they criticize, They boo,
- 3:38Speaker 3: they laugh at their efforts and everything, and they talk
- 3:42Speaker 3: about the failuse. He missed that game when he shot boy,
- 3:45Speaker 3: he suck man, he did this. He ain't worth that.
- 3:49Speaker 3: I hear people who sit in stands who criticize people
- 3:55Speaker 3: who are out there on the playing field. Now, when
- 3:59Speaker 3: you're on on the playing field, you have a set
- 4:03Speaker 3: of challenges in front of you. You're going to be
- 4:05Speaker 3: open to criticism. You're going to be open to ridicule.
- 4:10Speaker 3: You're going to be talked about when you don't know
- 4:12Speaker 3: the people who are talking about you. Now here's the
- 4:19Speaker 3: upside to being the player on the field that's facing
- 4:24Speaker 3: all the challenges, to criticisms, the laughing, the joke, to
- 4:27Speaker 3: being talked about.
- 4:30Speaker 1: He has something going for him.
- 4:34Speaker 3: This person, boy, woman, child, girl, man has an opportunity
- 4:40Speaker 3: to win. They have an opportunity to win. And in
- 4:46Speaker 3: the game of life, just because you lose one of
- 4:51Speaker 3: the games, or you lose one of the matches, it
- 4:54Speaker 3: don't mean you've lost. You don't get put out.
- 4:58Speaker 6: You keep playing.
- 5:00Speaker 3: And when you're playing, here's the upside. You have the
- 5:04Speaker 3: opportunity to win. But guess what, You're gonna win some
- 5:07Speaker 3: of the matches. You're gonna win some of the points.
- 5:10Speaker 3: You're gonna make some of the dunks. You're gonna hit
- 5:12Speaker 3: some of them over the wall. You're gonna hit some
- 5:14Speaker 3: out the park. You're gonna score some goals. You will
- 5:18Speaker 3: if you're playing the game. Here's the problem with the
- 5:23Speaker 3: people who don't face criticism, who nobody boos or cheers for,
- 5:29Speaker 3: who sits in the stands and knows neither victory nor defeat.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Those people, without realizing it, are facing a set of
- 5:41Speaker 3: challenges also. And the challenges they're facing is how I'm
- 5:46Speaker 3: gonna live with myself, What I'm gonna do? Now, what
- 5:54Speaker 3: direction am I going in? Where am I gonna live?
- 6:01Speaker 3: Wonder what job will hire me? Wonder if I can
- 6:06Speaker 3: get paid for criticizing.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Oh woe is me?
- 6:13Speaker 3: I can't find the purpose in my life. And man,
- 6:17Speaker 3: I'm just waking up in a state of confusion.
- 6:19Speaker 1: I don't know what to do.
- 6:22Speaker 3: Now, let me ask you something, which one of them
- 6:24Speaker 3: set the challenges you'd rather be faced with? Because if
- 6:28Speaker 3: I'm on the flow playing, if I'm on the field playing,
- 6:32Speaker 3: if I'm out on the court playing, then guess what
- 6:35Speaker 3: I got a chance at winning? But guess what I'm
- 6:38Speaker 3: doing every day while I'm playing. I'm strategizing. I'm waking
- 6:42Speaker 3: up with a purpose. I'm waking up trying to come
- 6:45Speaker 3: up with another angle. I'm in pursuit of a goal
- 6:50Speaker 3: every single day, versus the people in the stands.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Who know neither nor a defeat. Get in the game.
- 7:06Speaker 6: Face the challenges.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Better yourself, better your wife, better your children, better your condition,
- 7:12Speaker 3: better your employment status, better your job, better your career.
- 7:15Speaker 3: Take a shot. Come on, man, what you waiting on?
- 7:18Speaker 3: Because the alternative is to watch other people play the game?
- 7:24Speaker 1: You know what I just do?
- 7:25Speaker 6: Sometimes Sometimes I just I get Forbes.
- 7:28Speaker 3: Magazine or Money magazine, or sometimes I still grab a
- 7:32Speaker 3: copy of the rob Report.
- 7:34Speaker 1: I just flip through it. Just to see.
- 7:37Speaker 6: I used to get this book called Unique Homes.
- 7:40Speaker 3: Unique Homes is a magazine that just has a lot
- 7:43Speaker 3: of extravagant houses that's on sale across.
- 7:46Speaker 6: The country, across the world.
- 7:47Speaker 1: I used to flip through.
- 7:48Speaker 6: Man, let me just see, man, what the people that's
- 7:52Speaker 6: playing the game out there doing.
- 7:55Speaker 3: Stop watching other people become successful when you could very
- 7:58Speaker 3: easily be you if you make the decision. But when
- 8:02Speaker 3: you make the decision to become successful, get ready for
- 8:05Speaker 3: a series of challenges. I think it's more difficult not
- 8:09Speaker 3: to accept the challenge.
- 8:12Speaker 1: I think it's for me.
- 8:14Speaker 7: This is just for me.
- 8:15Speaker 6: It may not be the case for you.
- 8:16Speaker 3: For me, I think it's far more difficult to wake
- 8:19Speaker 3: up and just see how life gonna go today, because man,
- 8:21Speaker 3: it could just deal you any kind of hand today.
- 8:25Speaker 3: You understand, I don't like, you know, spades. Let's talk
- 8:31Speaker 3: a card game for a town, the game of spades. Really, man,
- 8:34Speaker 3: it ain't a whole lot you can do if you
- 8:36Speaker 3: don't get no spades.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Really, it's a.
- 8:39Speaker 6: Little couple of little strategies you're gonna do.
- 8:41Speaker 3: But you can have all this age, king, queen, diamond
- 8:43Speaker 3: all you want, But man, you ain't got no spades,
- 8:45Speaker 3: they cutting them. You're in trouble. Be it with different game.
- 8:50Speaker 3: You can create what's in your hand. You got dealt
- 8:54Speaker 3: a hand too, But you can create a hand. You
- 8:57Speaker 3: can call a trump. You can make down your spades,
- 9:01Speaker 3: you can make hard to clubs your spades. That's what
- 9:03Speaker 3: I'm saying. You can do something with it. It's a
- 9:06Speaker 3: different game, man. You can strategize. I would rather have
- 9:10Speaker 3: a say so in my life than to wake up
- 9:12Speaker 3: every day and just see how it's going. I think
- 9:14Speaker 3: it's more difficult to not accept the challenge to be
- 9:18Speaker 3: something than it is to accept the challenge to be something.
- 9:21Speaker 3: I think it's more difficult to sit around and not
- 9:24Speaker 3: be nothing. I think it's harder to watch everybody in
- 9:27Speaker 3: life going somewhere but mine. I think it would be
- 9:29Speaker 3: very difficult for me to sit here and hear them
- 9:32Speaker 3: talking about other people that never mentioned my name. It
- 9:35Speaker 3: would be difficult for me to see everybody rising getting
- 9:38Speaker 3: promotions accept me. That would be difficult for me. It
- 9:42Speaker 3: may not be for you, but for me it would
- 9:43Speaker 3: be quite challenging. I would rather accept the challenge of
- 9:47Speaker 3: making something out of my life than to sit there
- 9:50Speaker 3: and criticize those and then watch and see how my
- 9:53Speaker 3: life just may go.
- 9:55Speaker 6: Okay, just a thought.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Today, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morreton Show.

- 10:25Speaker 3: they bring your way. God is in control. But God
- 10:29Speaker 3: gives us a power choice, and we choose to vote
- 10:32Speaker 3: on this show. We choose to make a difference and

- 10:39Speaker 3: gonna count us loud and clear, and that's for show.

- 10:45Speaker 3: don't have the power to count us out. He Lord,

- 10:53Speaker 3: not going for it.

- 12:18Speaker 3: Lord Tommy was about four years old, four years old, Oh,
- 12:26Speaker 3: he was really little then, and I bought him this red,
- 12:32Speaker 3: big old birthday cake and we put the four candles
- 12:37Speaker 3: on it, and we told Lord Tommy to blow out
- 12:39Speaker 3: the cake. So I picked him up and set him
- 12:43Speaker 3: on the trail of the hot chair so he could
- 12:45Speaker 3: lean over and blow out the candles.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Lord Tommy lost his footing and filling the cake. I
- 12:55Speaker 1: don't know. It took us twenty minutes to find.
- 13:03Speaker 8: I was married.
- 13:04Speaker 3: And the whole time Uncle Sylvester was over there trying
- 13:07Speaker 3: to cut a slice and I said, careful before you
- 13:10Speaker 3: cut this boy, but he didn't.
- 13:12Speaker 1: He survived.
- 13:13Speaker 3: He got out to Kate Man because he had cake
- 13:15Speaker 3: all over it, so he was allowed to eat hisself clean.
- 13:21Speaker 3: Took him on out and lady and gentlemen, that's what

- 15:17Speaker 7: uh and I know they don't speak much here at
- 15:20Speaker 7: the church, but they decided to make their voice heard.
- 15:23Speaker 7: The Maga ministry is asking for some demands here at
- 15:27Speaker 7: the church. They're saying that you let every ministry have
- 15:30Speaker 7: what they want. They want to now have some things
- 15:34Speaker 7: going on. They are wanting here from them what they
- 15:38Speaker 7: want you. Yes, they want you to allow Trump to
- 15:41Speaker 7: speak here at the church.
- 15:44Speaker 1: And yeah, now let me let me put this to
- 15:47Speaker 1: it too. They also say they.
- 15:49Speaker 7: Are willing to build us a ballroom attached to the
- 15:53Speaker 7: church if we allow him to come and speak.
- 15:56Speaker 1: So, I don't know how you want to go to that.
- 16:00Speaker 3: Well, if we're gonna get the free ball or Donnie,
- 16:03Speaker 3: and we'll be speaking here.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Your son, oh your sw I don't know what we needed?
- 16:13Speaker 1: Well why he needed new better question? Go ahead, and
- 16:18Speaker 1: my son, where we have next? Was the next pastor?
- 16:23Speaker 7: You know, if they've been doing a lot of redistrict
- 16:25Speaker 7: and what they're asked, what they got playing that we
- 16:27Speaker 7: didn't know what's coming. They're also restating, restating, so they're
- 16:32Speaker 7: actually going to blend two states together. They want Georgia
- 16:38Speaker 7: and Alabama. They calling it Alla Georgia. They want to
- 16:42Speaker 7: blend those together and have one state. All right, New
- 16:45Speaker 7: York and Pennsylvania will be yor kiepinion.
- 16:49Speaker 1: They want those two to come together.
- 16:51Speaker 7: And of course, you know these are where's heavily black
- 16:54Speaker 7: populated Louisiana in Mississippi, they calling it Missy lou They
- 16:58Speaker 7: want to put those together.
- 17:00Speaker 6: And that's fine. We can stop this conversation now.
- 17:08Speaker 3: For our headquarters is here in Georgia. We will not
- 17:12Speaker 3: be h called Alla Georgia. Not we will continue to
- 17:20Speaker 3: lose the use of alaga syrup and we will not be.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Uh changing the name.
- 17:30Speaker 3: Uh because we in Georgia we have professional sports teams. Yeah,
- 17:35Speaker 3: we've got football, baseball, and basketball.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Alabama has none of that.
- 17:43Speaker 3: They have road Tide and War Eagles and who's college
- 17:48Speaker 3: kids and that's all.
- 17:49Speaker 1: It ain't the same thing. So we won't be doing that.
- 17:52Speaker 3: As far as Louisiana and Mississippi getting together, that's fine.
- 17:58Speaker 1: They in last place anyways.
- 18:01Speaker 4: What happens.
- 18:04Speaker 1: They always battling for the bottom spot in something.
- 18:11Speaker 3: They spend all the time trying to hold black folk
- 18:15Speaker 3: back and then nothing would hold they self back.
- 18:20Speaker 9: Then preach pastor whole word.
- 18:24Speaker 6: Where you hell nicked for me?
- 18:26Speaker 7: Or pastor their most distinguished African Americans that are part
- 18:32Speaker 7: of the MAGA ministry, the most distinguished one. They are
- 18:35Speaker 7: asking that we meet with Tim Scott in hunssel Walker.
- 18:41Speaker 7: They are wanting to do a burlout fundraiser here ethnic
- 18:45Speaker 7: far where they where they raise certain things for the
- 18:50Speaker 7: MAGA community. That's what they wanted to do with the
- 18:53Speaker 7: MAGA Black community. But it would definitely be Tim and
- 18:57Speaker 7: Hussher for those of you that is infused about raising
- 19:04Speaker 7: money for burn laugh.
- 19:07Speaker 3: Here, Oh they Tim Scarton herschel Walker's looking to make
- 19:13Speaker 3: a new outfit for when they out.
- 19:16Speaker 1: There picking.
- 19:21Speaker 9: What do you mean picking?
- 19:23Speaker 1: They lay likes burd laft shots.
- 19:27Speaker 6: Oh no, that's got a hit. Oh it do itch?
- 19:31Speaker 1: But they are They're saying, is we itching, but we
- 19:35Speaker 1: scratch for massa.
- 19:39Speaker 7: One more time, I say we itching, but we scratch
- 19:45Speaker 7: for massal ignorance. Well, now I don't want you to
- 19:52Speaker 7: take offense to this, but they are asking that if
- 19:56Speaker 7: we win them. This is from the MAGA ministry, and
- 19:58Speaker 7: I guess every MAGA ministry across the country.
- 20:01Speaker 1: They are trying to get a told on what what what?
- 20:04Speaker 11: What?
- 20:04Speaker 1: What would uh that kind of answer they would get.
- 20:07Speaker 7: They want at least one state here in the United States,
- 20:11Speaker 7: one state to have slaves.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Which state?
- 20:15Speaker 10: Uh?
- 20:16Speaker 1: With that be?
- 20:17Speaker 7: And uh it'll be different nationalities as slave. I don't
- 20:22Speaker 7: know how they're working it out, but they're asking what
- 20:24Speaker 7: we consider uh pushing that trip back.
- 20:31Speaker 3: Well, the only way our little ask for that is
- 20:35Speaker 3: here for all the slaves is them preach you saying
- 20:45Speaker 3: you want to make America great again. Well, let's give
- 20:48Speaker 3: you a shot at building it off of free leave, bring,
- 20:51Speaker 3: bring it home.

- 22:44Speaker 9: I need to relax. Why is he so insensitive?
- 22:48Speaker 2: Why?

- 42:22Speaker 3: I mean, come on, he's really sweetie, y'all. Just don't
- 42:25Speaker 3: let him be in the truth for you like that.
- 42:28Speaker 3: The Pope was saying for peace for all people.
- 42:31Speaker 1: That's right, that's right.
- 42:32Speaker 3: Data one Sidney here talking about Irnas don't need no

- 47:41Speaker 1: You know you familiar with doctor.

- 48:34Speaker 15: I mean, all that stuff that we've gone through is
- 48:36Speaker 15: totally confidential, and I'm kind of offended that you're calling me.
- 48:39Speaker 1: I understand that.
- 48:40Speaker 7: Well, what's what's happening is I got a phone call
- 48:43Speaker 7: from the doctor's office today. It seems like there's been

- 56:40Speaker 1: for you. Here it is Strawberry Letter.
- 56:43Speaker 9: Thank you, Tommy. Subject I just met my place sister
- 56:47Speaker 9: in law. Okay, Stephen Shirley. I met my husband online
- 56:52Speaker 9: and we dated briefly before we got married. We figured
- 56:55Speaker 9: out that we knew a lot of the same people,
- 56:57Speaker 9: and all my friends that knew him for him and
- 57:01Speaker 9: said he's a great man. His mother always acted strangely,
- 57:05Speaker 9: but he said that's just how she is, and she
- 57:07Speaker 9: would come around and be sweet Eventually. A couple of
- 57:11Speaker 9: weeks after our wedding, I asked his mother to meet
- 57:14Speaker 9: for lunch, and she asked if she could bring her
- 57:16Speaker 9: play daughter. I wanted to meet anyone close to my husband,
- 57:21Speaker 9: so I was excited That lunch date with his mom
- 57:25Speaker 9: has sent my marriage into a downward spiral. The play
- 57:29Speaker 9: daughter knew everything about my husband, even more than his mom.
- 57:34Speaker 9: She said they've been the best of friends, but never
- 57:36Speaker 9: romantically involved. She said they've sat up many nights crying
- 57:41Speaker 9: together over bad relationships. I have never seen my husband cry.
- 57:46Speaker 9: She told us that my husband almost died after a
- 57:49Speaker 9: batched liposuction, and the mom didn't know he had surgery.
- 57:53Speaker 9: She thought he lost weight naturally. I asked her why
- 57:57Speaker 9: she didn't come to the wedding if they were so close,
- 57:59Speaker 9: and she said she wasn't invited. My mother in law
- 58:02Speaker 9: said she insisted that she come, but the play daughter
- 58:05Speaker 9: said she felt like my husband was moving shady since
- 58:08Speaker 9: he met me. Now, if this doesn't sound like a
- 58:11Speaker 9: whole side piece relationship with my husband, then what is it?
- 58:14Speaker 9: Why is his mother not seeing this? My husband swears
- 58:17Speaker 9: he's never been intimate with his play sister, but couldn't
- 58:20Speaker 9: explain why he has never introduced me to her and
- 58:24Speaker 9: none of.
- 58:24Speaker 1: Its friends know of her.
- 58:27Speaker 9: If I asked this play sister more questions, will I
- 58:30Speaker 9: look insecure? And should I keep my head high as
- 58:33Speaker 9: the wifey or should I do more research on her? Yes,
- 58:37Speaker 9: you should keep your head high as the wifey and
- 58:39Speaker 9: you don't need any more research. I mean, how much
- 58:41Speaker 9: research do you need? The research you want to know
- 58:45Speaker 9: that you want to do now that should have been
- 58:47Speaker 9: done before the marriage. Okay, that should have been done then. Anyway,
- 58:52Speaker 9: you pretty much laid it all out. The clues are there,
- 58:54Speaker 9: with the first one being her saying, your husband's moving
- 58:57Speaker 9: shady since he met you.
- 58:58Speaker 1: And what does that mean? What is moving shady mean?
- 59:01Speaker 2: Does it mean he.
- 59:02Speaker 9: Didn't invite her to the wedding because he didn't want
- 59:04Speaker 9: any drama, or he didn't introduce her to any of
- 59:08Speaker 9: his friends because he didn't want any drama or didn't
- 59:11Speaker 9: want them to know about her.
- 59:12Speaker 1: What did that mean?
- 59:13Speaker 9: I mean there is a reason for him not telling
- 59:16Speaker 9: could be a side piece situation, like you said, But
- 59:19Speaker 9: his mom sure knows a lot about her, and she
- 59:23Speaker 9: knows her well enough to invite her to lunch with
- 59:25Speaker 9: you guys. So this woman has definitely been around for
- 59:29Speaker 9: a while. But I don't think you need to ask
- 59:31Speaker 9: her any more questions.
- 59:33Speaker 1: Let this go.
- 59:34Speaker 9: If you want to ask questions, ask your husband. This
- 59:37Speaker 9: all happened before you and him got together, and this
- 59:41Speaker 9: is a chance you take. You know how it goes.
- 59:43Speaker 9: When you meet someone online and you married them quickly,
- 59:47Speaker 9: you don't get to know the person.
- 59:48Speaker 1: So please remember everyone has a past.
- 59:52Speaker 3: Steve, Well, this is gonna be a good one for
- 59:56Speaker 3: me because I could answer all these questions you have
- 59:59Speaker 3: had out all of them with rather a certainty and assurance.
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: You met your husband online, we dated briefly before we
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: got married, Well there it is there it is you
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: dated briefly before you got married. Now I don't know
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: how you are, how old you all are? You haven't
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: mentioned any kids anything. But you have to understand, like
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: Shirley said, everybody comes with the history. So when you
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: date briefly, you don't get to learn the history because
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: you haven't been put in enough situations where things can
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: crop up. You all got along and everything. Now, his
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: mother has always acted strangely, strangely, but he said, that's
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: just how she is, and she would come around and
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: be sweet eventually. Well, a couple of weeks after you
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: got married, you asked your mother in law to meet
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: for lunch. That was a great idea. Your mom in
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: law asked if she could bring her play daughter.
- 1:01:01Speaker 6: Hell fault.
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: Now, please don't let this boy's mama act like she
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: don't know, because she is a grown woman now, and
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: women know, women know what they're doing. They're very smart women.
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: I ain't hardly ever met no stupid women until they
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: start listening to their heart instead of their intuition. Other
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: than that, they are on top of the food tor
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: chain when it comes to brains and smart.
- 1:01:30Speaker 6: Don't you misunderstand that for a moment.
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: So the boy and mama know what he's doing, gonna
- 1:01:34Speaker 3: bring the play daughter, and you said yeah, because you
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: want to meet anybody close to your husband, because now
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: you're trying to learn your husband after you've married him,
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: instead of dating even longer to learning before you got married.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: So now here we go.
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: So I was excited that lunch day with his mom,
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: and but that dunch they sent your marriage into a
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: downward spiral. The play daughter knew everything about my husband.
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: See right there. Why did the mama bring home even
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: more than his mom? She said, they've been the best
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: of friends, but never romantically involved. Why is she talking
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: to you? You know why I think she talking to
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: you because she trying to play the spoiler. She trying
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: to be the spoiler. It's always some woman getting left
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: by the wayside at the altar.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: And then all of a sudden, Wanner, I know more.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: Me and him talk.
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: We everything.
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: They've been in the best of friends, she said. They've
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: set up many nights crying together over bad relationships. And
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: I've never seen my husband cry. That's because you ain't
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: known him long enough.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: But I'll tell you what.
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: After you found out you and the MoMA and the
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: plate sister was at lunch, he was I bet someone crying.
- 1:02:51Speaker 9: Then all right, hang on, Steve, we'll have part two
- 1:02:56Speaker 9: of your response to this strawberry letter at twenty three

- 1:03:03Speaker 9: play sister in law. We'll get back into it right

- 1:03:51Speaker 9: recap today's strawberry letter. The subject is I just met
- 1:03:54Speaker 9: my play sister in law.
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: Well, this woman met this man online day briefly and
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: then got married. Dating briefly doesn't allow you to learn
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: the person's history, So now you're learning his history while
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: you're married. You've always thought that mama was actually sort
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: of funny to you, So you wanted to invite her
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: to lunch after you all got married a couple of
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: weeks she asked you could she bring her a plate daughter? Okay,
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: so then you said yeah, because you want to meet
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: everybody close to the family. Well, that date they sent
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: your marriage into a down with spiral because little miss
- 1:04:28Speaker 3: play daughter then set up here and knew everything about
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: your husband and molding his mama. She said they've been
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: the best of friends, but never romantically involved. She said,
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: they've set up many nights crying together over bad relationships.
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: I have never seen my husband cry. Well, you ain't
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: been with him long enough. But I tell you what though,
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: after he found out you was with his mama and
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: his play sister, his was somewhere crying in That's what
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: I can.
- 1:04:55Speaker 6: Promise you his.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: Tongue.
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: She told us that my husband almost died after a
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: watch LIFEO suction and his mom didn't even know he
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: had the son.
- 1:05:10Speaker 6: Okay, Well, did you know he had life O such?
- 1:05:14Speaker 11: No?
- 1:05:15Speaker 6: She did you know it was botched?
- 1:05:18Speaker 9: No?
- 1:05:19Speaker 6: How do you know that he almost died.
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: I'm listening to this story that this woman is weaving
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: for you we've cried together. Yeah, all this is stuff
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: you can't check on. We've cried together set up many nights.
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: So okay.
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: So if y'all been crying together all of all the
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: bad relationships you had, pretty much why I explained why
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: a little play sister, play sistant law ain't got no fight.
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: See notice now know who you're talking to. She thought
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: the mother thought he lost weight.
- 1:05:53Speaker 6: Naturally.
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: I asked her why she didn't come to the wedding
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: if they were so close, and she said she wasn't invited. Now,
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: the mother in law jumped in and said she insisted
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: that she come. But the play daughter says, she felt
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: like my husband was moving shady since he met me. Well,
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: that's a good sign. See, he didn't invite her because
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: he didn't want her rhyme the trauma, right, you know,
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: because he already know his mama and a girl close.
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: Now why would he do that? And listen to me.
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: The key to this, I want your takeaway to be his.
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: He felt like she didn't want to come to the
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: wed and she felt like my husband was moving shady
- 1:06:37Speaker 3: since it Well, her husband were trying to distance himself.
- 1:06:40Speaker 6: That's a good thing. That's what moving shady man.
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: Now, if this doesn't sound like a whole side piece
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: relationship with my husband, then what is it?
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: But see, if it was a side peace situation.
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: It ain't no more. But you meeting a man that
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: had a background, as do all me. He had a background.
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: So now where we're at, if it was a side piece,
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: he didn't tell you about it, because who do that?
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: What man meets a woman and go, hey, let me
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: tell you about these chicks I got out here on
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: the sand.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: Ain't nobody fins to do that.
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: And I don't know what you think a man supposed
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: to do that for, but you can, you can lose
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: him expectations.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: You can take that off the plate because we're not
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: finna do that.
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: And then if my husband swears he's never been intimate
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: with his place system, but couldn't explain to me why
- 1:07:34Speaker 3: he never introduced me to her and none of his.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: Friends know of her. Okay, so.
- 1:07:41Speaker 3: You the places over there when we by ourself, you
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: ain't coming up around my friends because you ain't going.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: I ain't got no future with you.
- 1:07:49Speaker 6: That could be it.
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: But now you trying to make something out of his
- 1:07:53Speaker 3: past and turn it into his right now, and there
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: are no signs of him messing.
- 1:07:58Speaker 6: With this girl right now.
- 1:08:00Speaker 3: So even if she was a side piece, please lose
- 1:08:03Speaker 3: your desire for him to tell you that he had
- 1:08:06Speaker 3: a side piece, because he didn't have a side piece,
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: and it's been several it ain't just her. So if
- 1:08:14Speaker 3: I asked this play sister more questions, will I look secure?
- 1:08:17Speaker 3: Why would you ask her anything? This girl ain't nothing
- 1:08:21Speaker 3: in here but to play spailer. She gonna tell you
- 1:08:23Speaker 3: all kinds of stuff because she's been crying with your
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: husband over a bad relationship, which means she can't get
- 1:08:31Speaker 3: in a good relationship. Now another relationship, he'd have found you,
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: and he'd have picked you over her. Why would you
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: ask hert anything? Because she ain't got but one mission
- 1:08:43Speaker 3: right now. It's to try to make you think she
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: got more of a relationship with him than you do,
- 1:08:49Speaker 3: and she don't.
- 1:08:49Speaker 4: It.
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: Should I keep my head high as the wife? You
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: should I do more research on her? Stop researching her,
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: Stop digging up in this man's past, because you're gonna
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: find something you don't want to know now. But now
- 1:09:00Speaker 3: I suppose he dug up your paths. You don't think
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: he finds a couple of things too that look a
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: little shady. Get out the man's path, build your future
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: with this man. Stop looking in the rear view mirror.
- 1:09:13Speaker 3: You are the wife, not her.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: Pull your head high. You the wife.
- 1:09:18Speaker 3: Have a talk with him and said, hey, look, lose
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: her number, lose her information. I ain't gonna beat you
- 1:09:24Speaker 3: up about this, but make sure that that have for
- 1:09:26Speaker 3: stay gone. If I see her again, you won't see
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: me again. You make your choice, that's all to it.
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: But I ain't gonna deal with her and your mama.
- 1:09:37Speaker 3: You don't have no play. Sister in law quick calling
- 1:09:40Speaker 3: her that.
- 1:09:41Speaker 9: I'm surprised you didn't say we cried together like the Ojays.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: I try to show more versatility.

- 1:11:49Speaker 10: I want to say happy birthday to my friend who's
- 1:11:52Speaker 10: not sexy at all, to Shirley and calling them. He
- 1:11:55Speaker 10: is sexy to himself, and he thinks he's handsome too.

- 1:13:22Speaker 3: was right on time. But you do know that when

- 1:13:41Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that's right.
- 1:13:43Speaker 9: All right, guys, thank you, you and your happy birthday nephew.
- 1:13:46Speaker 9: Coming up at the top of the hour, a wife
- 1:13:48Speaker 9: is concerned about her husband's phone being on D and D.
- 1:13:52Speaker 9: We will talk about it right after this.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: With and Got a hairline. You're listening to the Steve
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: Harvey Moore. All right, stee, this is from Dre in Midland.
- 1:14:07Speaker 9: Dre says, I've been married for twelve years and my
- 1:14:10Speaker 9: wife has always been a server at a strip club
- 1:14:13Speaker 9: in a nearby city. I take her to work and
- 1:14:16Speaker 9: I pick her up. Last night, I went inside to
- 1:14:19Speaker 9: use the men's room. I saw my wife at a
- 1:14:22Speaker 9: table with her chest all in a man's face. She
- 1:14:25Speaker 9: didn't know I was in the club. On the way home,
- 1:14:28Speaker 9: I told her what I saw. She said, that's one
- 1:14:31Speaker 9: of her best tipping customers. I remember back when I
- 1:14:35Speaker 9: was her best tipping customer. Is it time for my
- 1:14:38Speaker 9: wife to find a new job, that's his question.
- 1:14:41Speaker 3: Well, Doug, you've met her industry. Uh huh, And you
- 1:14:47Speaker 3: said you was one of her best.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: Tip Now twelve years, why you think she ain't never.
- 1:14:53Speaker 6: Left the strip club?
- 1:14:55Speaker 9: M hm hm tips.
- 1:14:58Speaker 6: Yeah, that's right. I got some other information for you too.
- 1:15:04Speaker 11: What.
- 1:15:05Speaker 6: Yeah, the waitresses be molding, bringing drinks.
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: Ooh, waitress be fine in the stance.
- 1:15:12Speaker 9: What are you saying?
- 1:15:14Speaker 3: Look, they see how much the strippers is making, and
- 1:15:22Speaker 3: they see who throwing the money up there for the strip?
- 1:15:26Speaker 3: How can I, as a waitress get some of this
- 1:15:28Speaker 3: money without standing up there naked on this pole. There's
- 1:15:33Speaker 3: a way, there's no way. You can see all this
- 1:15:37Speaker 3: money on the floor, all this money in their hands,
- 1:15:40Speaker 3: and you not want none. So you got to become
- 1:15:44Speaker 3: You got your best temple because he tipping you, because
- 1:15:47Speaker 3: he's enjoying your company, because you are saying and doing some.
- 1:15:51Speaker 6: Things at that table.
- 1:15:53Speaker 3: It ain't got nothing to do with you bring the
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: drinks out, Yes, Steve, I might go tonight that listen.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: What's what's happening that my eyes just rolled to back
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: my head? Boy at work, want to say good morning
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: to my friend Shannon that she just brings drinks. That's
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: how she just brings just Shannon, Good morning Shannon.
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: What is going on in this show?
- 1:16:27Speaker 7: Do you? I mean?
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: I'm just broke it down. That's what made me just
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: say good morning Shannon. That's the truth.
- 1:16:33Speaker 9: Steve. Uh, you have anything to say right here, right now,
- 1:16:38Speaker 9: I said what.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: I had to say.
- 1:16:39Speaker 3: What I'm saying telling you is facts. So Bro, you
- 1:16:42Speaker 3: can be mad if you want to, but you was
- 1:16:45Speaker 3: one of her best tippers in the club. You turned
- 1:16:47Speaker 3: out to be her husband. She's been down there for
- 1:16:49Speaker 3: twelve years.
- 1:16:50Speaker 6: After y'all got mad.
- 1:16:51Speaker 3: Yeah, Bro, why do you think she down there because
- 1:16:54Speaker 3: you can get tips at Applebee's.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:16:58Speaker 7: Come on?
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: Which Yeah, without putting your chest and.
- 1:17:02Speaker 3: Somebody not him, tips is not gonna be able to
- 1:17:04Speaker 3: sustain the lifetile y'all have created.
- 1:17:08Speaker 6: From tips.
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: Wow, you're gonna have to cut down.
- 1:17:16Speaker 6: Her breasts all in his face. He got to put
- 1:17:18Speaker 6: this money somewhere.
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: What is he supposed to do? Yeah, you can't just
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: hand it to him?
- 1:17:28Speaker 9: All right, all right, I think we have time for
- 1:17:31Speaker 9: another one. This is from Jada in Albany. Jada says,
- 1:17:37Speaker 9: my husband put his phone on D and D at night,
- 1:17:40Speaker 9: and literally no one ever calls his phone. So it
- 1:17:43Speaker 9: makes me wonder why he started doing that. He says
- 1:17:46Speaker 9: he does it just in case something happens with his
- 1:17:49Speaker 9: family in the middle of the night. He doesn't want
- 1:17:51Speaker 9: his sleep to be disturbed. But he works from home.
- 1:17:54Speaker 9: He's up all night watching movies, and he takes naps
- 1:17:57Speaker 9: during the day, so he's not concerned about his sleep.
- 1:18:00Speaker 9: He said, if his family has an emergency, they will
- 1:18:02Speaker 9: call my phone. His parents aren't in the best health,
- 1:18:05Speaker 9: so he's tripping and I'm concerned. Why is he acting
- 1:18:08Speaker 9: like this and using D and D at night?
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: D and D is do not just not disturb?
- 1:18:12Speaker 3: Uh huh, Well what what he's using it? I don't
- 1:18:19Speaker 3: unless you catch somebody on that phone. Yeah, putting stuff
- 1:18:24Speaker 3: in your head that ain't there.
- 1:18:26Speaker 9: Oh, she's making a problem where there is none, Okay.
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: I mean she can read it all out, really okay?
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: They at their phone.

- 1:19:07Speaker 9: Investigators were called to the residents to do a home
- 1:19:10Speaker 9: visit and found the home in deplorable conditions, then noticed
- 1:19:14Speaker 9: a small child with a black dot tattooed on his forearm,
- 1:19:18Speaker 9: surrounded by red, irritated skin. According to arrest document, the
- 1:19:24Speaker 9: twenty seven year old mother told investigators that while she

- 1:19:30Speaker 9: way of her needle, causing the black dot on the
- 1:19:33Speaker 9: child's arm. Do you believe that?

- 1:19:39Speaker 9: Yeah, why would you do this to your pad?
- 1:19:42Speaker 3: And all you could get on that twenty two month

- 1:25:17Speaker 11: If you believe in education, opportunity, in building future leaders,
- 1:25:21Speaker 11: this is where it starts.
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: Join us and be a part of the transformation.
- 1:25:25Speaker 11: Apply, donate or partner with us today at TMCF dot org.
- 1:25:29Speaker 9: All right, guys, here we are our last break of
- 1:25:32Speaker 9: the day, and as we always do, we want to
- 1:25:34Speaker 9: thank our audience for being so loyal and loving to us.
- 1:25:37Speaker 9: We appreciate you so much. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Steve.
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: They do okay.
- 1:25:43Speaker 3: You know in my close remarks, I'm going to do
- 1:25:46Speaker 3: something I said I would never do before. I said
- 1:25:49Speaker 3: I was tired. I wasn't going to put myself in
- 1:25:51Speaker 3: this position again. The last time we needed to vote,
- 1:25:54Speaker 3: we spent hours on this show all of us people
- 1:26:00Speaker 3: to vote, trying to get you the register, and some
- 1:26:05Speaker 3: did and some didn't. So look, this is for the
- 1:26:10Speaker 3: didn't folks, and this is for the dead folks who
- 1:26:14Speaker 3: don't like the results. What that means is we have
- 1:26:18Speaker 3: to do it more, and we can't allow the people
- 1:26:22Speaker 3: who are close to us that we know set up
- 1:26:25Speaker 3: and give you some ignorant cockamani's story about why they
- 1:26:31Speaker 3: not gonna vote. I don't want to hear that. We
- 1:26:35Speaker 3: are facing a desperate crisis in this country. If you
- 1:26:39Speaker 3: are a person of color, they are they have come
- 1:26:44Speaker 3: after us, and it's blatant and it's open. But if
- 1:26:48Speaker 3: you are a person who is not rich, black, white, yellow, brown,
- 1:26:53Speaker 3: they coming for you too. And for you not to
- 1:26:56Speaker 3: see it because you've been just tricked with the whole
- 1:27:00Speaker 3: image of what the conservatives are saying. We are against
- 1:27:04Speaker 3: gay marriage, we are against immigration, we are against welfare.
- 1:27:10Speaker 2: We are.
- 1:27:12Speaker 3: Against rights for human beings that denies us the right
- 1:27:17Speaker 3: to compete effectively and equally. Man, that ain't what the
- 1:27:22Speaker 3: Voter's Rights Act was about. That ain't what Civil Rights
- 1:27:25Speaker 3: Act was about. It wasn't that whites were not getting
- 1:27:27Speaker 3: treated equally. It's that that whites had done so much
- 1:27:31Speaker 3: thing to allow to have black folks not to be
- 1:27:34Speaker 3: treated equally, that a law was passed to stop that.
- 1:27:37Speaker 3: But y'all took it as y'all don't want us to
- 1:27:40Speaker 3: have this or that. Well, that's not true. You have everything.
- 1:27:45Speaker 3: What is the problem with a person wanting and requiring
- 1:27:50Speaker 3: common decency and basic rights as an American, the right
- 1:27:55Speaker 3: to vote. Why would you sit up there and denounce that.
- 1:28:00Speaker 3: Why would you sit up here here and resind the Voters'
- 1:28:03Speaker 3: Rights Act? Why would you turn around and do all
- 1:28:05Speaker 3: this redistricting so black people in your state don't have
- 1:28:09Speaker 3: a voice anymore. They put you under the same district,
- 1:28:12Speaker 3: So now you fall out, you don't have black representation.
- 1:28:16Speaker 3: You got to get the same white dude we got
- 1:28:18Speaker 3: who speaks for us, who don't really speak for us
- 1:28:21Speaker 3: at all. He speaks for them, but he tells y'all
- 1:28:24Speaker 3: it's us. And you so stupid to sit up in
- 1:28:30Speaker 3: here and think that they talking about you. Let me
- 1:28:34Speaker 3: give you an example. The Conservatives just told you that
- 1:28:38Speaker 3: when we passed this big, beautiful bill, it'll be the
- 1:28:40Speaker 3: largest tax cuts in the history for you. True statement.
- 1:28:45Speaker 3: But the you they was talking about wasn't you, though.
- 1:28:48Speaker 3: The you that was talking about was his three friends
- 1:28:50Speaker 3: that were sitting on the front row at the inauguration.
- 1:28:53Speaker 3: It was for Jeff Bezos, for Markus Zuckerberg, and for
- 1:28:56Speaker 3: Elon Musk. That's who gets the largest tax breaks. Just
- 1:29:01Speaker 3: tell me how you feel about the tax breaks you've
- 1:29:03Speaker 3: been getting this year. We want to repeal and replace.
- 1:29:07Speaker 3: We want to repeal and replace Obamacare. Why it was working.
- 1:29:12Speaker 3: It had a couple of flaws in it, but it
- 1:29:14Speaker 3: was working for the average American.
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: Now, guess what.
- 1:29:17Speaker 3: All y'all's insurance premiums are higher now, all of them
- 1:29:21Speaker 3: because you know what they wanted to do. They want
- 1:29:23Speaker 3: to put the power back into the insurance people's hands
- 1:29:26Speaker 3: so they could get back to making the big windfall
- 1:29:29Speaker 3: of money profits that they was making before the Affordable
- 1:29:31Speaker 3: Act came along, because you had no choice but to
- 1:29:34Speaker 3: deal with them. But y'all don't see that though, because
- 1:29:37Speaker 3: you keep thinking that they that the you they talking about,
- 1:29:40Speaker 3: We're gonna give you the biggest tax. Because you keep
- 1:29:42Speaker 3: thinking they talking about you. They ain't talking about you.
- 1:29:45Speaker 3: They talking about each other. But they got you looped
- 1:29:48Speaker 3: in thinking that all were gonna kill these gay rights,
- 1:29:51Speaker 3: and we're gonna kill immigration, and we're gonna kill welfare.
- 1:29:56Speaker 3: Well here's the news news flash. Conservatives and Republicans are gay. Also,
- 1:30:02Speaker 3: Republicans and conservatives also hire illegal immigrants to do work
- 1:30:07Speaker 3: for them. Oh excuse me, more white conservatives are on
- 1:30:11Speaker 3: welfare than is anybody? Did I mention that they was
- 1:30:15Speaker 3: also gay too. Did I mention that this bill to
- 1:30:18Speaker 3: stop this immigration, these flux of people has cost us
- 1:30:22Speaker 3: the money at the grocery stores when crops ain't getting picked,
- 1:30:26Speaker 3: and fruits and all these orchards ain't getting picked, and
- 1:30:29Speaker 3: this stuff is dying on the vine and it ain't
- 1:30:31Speaker 3: got nobody to pick it. Well, the ones that they
- 1:30:33Speaker 3: do get picked, they still gonna make their money. Because
- 1:30:36Speaker 3: let me tell you something about rich people. Rich people
- 1:30:38Speaker 3: don't do cutbacks. The cutback rich people do is your job. See,
- 1:30:44Speaker 3: they do cutbacks and get rid of your job to
- 1:30:46Speaker 3: protect their bottom line. Rich people ain't know where talking about. Man,
- 1:30:50Speaker 3: let me see how I can cut back so these
- 1:30:51Speaker 3: people can hold on to their position. No, the way
- 1:30:54Speaker 3: they fix their bottom line is they get rid of you.
- 1:30:58Speaker 3: They call it DEI Diverse in equity and inclusion. You
- 1:31:02Speaker 3: thought that was black people, That's what you thought diversity was.
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: Or you didn't know it was y'all. Huh, you ain't
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: know that. You ain't know that was you?
- 1:31:10Speaker 3: Now you women, you vets with the disabilities and all
- 1:31:14Speaker 3: of that. That's what you didn't know that, did you?
- 1:31:17Speaker 3: You didn't think when Elon Musk came in here to
- 1:31:20Speaker 3: help get the budget under control. You didn't think that
- 1:31:25Speaker 3: he would take your job, did he? All the jobs
- 1:31:28Speaker 3: is gone, man. We got to vote, y'all. We got
- 1:31:31Speaker 3: to register and vote, and we got to be more
- 1:31:33Speaker 3: serious than this time than we was when we got
