- 2:13Speaker 1: It's real simple for everybody that's trying to become successful
- 2:18Speaker 1: on any level, in any arena, any genre. I don't
- 2:23Speaker 1: care what it is. If you're trying to be successful,
- 2:26Speaker 1: this message is for you. Let me help you understand
- 2:29Speaker 1: something real clear. You ain't gonna make it the way
- 2:33Speaker 1: you want to, and you're not going to make it
- 2:37Speaker 1: to the heights that's fully out there and available for
- 2:40Speaker 1: you without God. And I'm just keep it real simple
- 2:43Speaker 1: and clean for you today. You're not going to make
- 2:47Speaker 1: it the way you want to, and you're not going
- 2:50Speaker 1: to get to the heights that's available to you without God.
- 2:56Speaker 1: You have to get this through your head. You can
- 3:00Speaker 1: tried if you want to, because I did. I'm here
- 3:02Speaker 1: to tell you I am talking purely from experience. Here
- 3:06Speaker 1: you can try it without God, and you can see
- 3:09Speaker 1: how far you can get. Will you have some measures
- 3:12Speaker 1: of success? Of course you will. Will it feel like
- 3:16Speaker 1: days like you might make it? Of course you will.
- 3:19Speaker 1: But let me ask you a question, though. What you're
- 3:21Speaker 1: gonna do about them days when you feel like you
- 3:23Speaker 1: ain't gonna make it. When you're gonna do about them
- 3:25Speaker 1: days where it feel like there are no answers to
- 3:27Speaker 1: your questions. What you're gonna do about them days? What
- 3:29Speaker 1: you're gonna do about them days when everybody laughing that
- 3:32Speaker 1: you turn against you. What you're gonna do about them
- 3:35Speaker 1: days when you just don't see no way through it?
- 3:38Speaker 1: What you're gonna do about them days? I got the sunshine,
- 3:41Speaker 1: you know, sunshine cool? Everybody got friends. When it's Sunday outside,
- 3:45Speaker 1: you want some friends, hit the lotto, you want to
- 3:47Speaker 1: get rid of them friends, go ask for some help. Man.
- 3:50Speaker 1: I'm talking about man. They scattered like roaches when lights
- 3:52Speaker 1: come on. I'm trying to tell you. So, now here
- 3:55Speaker 1: we go again, and you can do this without God. Now,
- 3:58Speaker 1: because I've done it and you can have yourself some
- 4:01Speaker 1: measure success. Let me even hip you to a little
- 4:03Speaker 1: bit closer, though, let me tell you why you are
- 4:06Speaker 1: doing it without God and having some measure of success.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Can I tell you why? Because of God's grace and
- 4:13Speaker 1: mercy to us, because of his grace and mercy trying
- 4:16Speaker 1: to keep us in spite of ourself, for the real
- 4:20Speaker 1: mission that He really got for us. See that's the
- 4:23Speaker 1: truth of the matter now now what we're talking about
- 4:25Speaker 1: nasty see. So yeah, yeah, you can do it without
- 4:28Speaker 1: God and you can have some measure success without God.
- 4:31Speaker 1: And yeah, you know, you know, yeah you got your
- 4:32Speaker 1: little degree and everything. Yeah you completed the program, got
- 4:36Speaker 1: all that, YadA, YadA YadA. But don't you know something.
- 4:39Speaker 1: It's because of God's grace and mercy that he helps
- 4:42Speaker 1: us anyway when even when we ain't asking for help,
- 4:45Speaker 1: when he bails us out anyway, when we don't even
- 4:47Speaker 1: ask him to be bailed out. You know why, because
- 4:50Speaker 1: He loves us that much that he would allow us
- 4:52Speaker 1: to exist until we get our mind together where he
- 4:55Speaker 1: could take us away, really trying to take us. Let's
- 4:58Speaker 1: get this real straight and clear today. You can do
- 5:01Speaker 1: this without God if you want to. But I am
- 5:04Speaker 1: telling you to get to where you really want to
- 5:07Speaker 1: be and to be all that God has for you.
- 5:10Speaker 1: You got to have God. There's no ifs ands buts
- 5:14Speaker 1: about it. And let me tell you this here. I
- 5:16Speaker 1: don't really care what nobody had then told you. Are
- 5:20Speaker 1: you listening to me? I don't care what they say.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Don't get this thing twisted. They got these people out
- 5:27Speaker 1: here talking about their luminatis and all this here. Man,
- 5:30Speaker 1: don't listen to me. Don't get caught in this mess.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Don't get caught in no foolishness. You were created by God.
- 5:38Speaker 1: God created you, ain't your soul. We were all created
- 5:42Speaker 1: in His image, all of us. Don't get to talk about.
- 5:46Speaker 1: You've fen to cut a deal with the devil in
- 5:47Speaker 1: all you ain't cut no deal with nobody. Man. The
- 5:49Speaker 1: devil don't do deals. He one sided. I'm taking you
- 5:53Speaker 1: to hell. You going to hell. You're burning in here.
- 5:56Speaker 1: That's his deal. I want your soul. I want you
- 5:59Speaker 1: to lose hope. I want you to take your life.
- 6:02Speaker 1: I want you to take some other people's lives. I
- 6:04Speaker 1: want you to feel hopeless. I want you to realize
- 6:07Speaker 1: that there ain't no God. That's his whole deal. His
- 6:09Speaker 1: whole deal is negative. Oh he can talk you into
- 6:12Speaker 1: dealing drugs if you want to. But let me tell
- 6:14Speaker 1: you something about this. I watch these shows all the time,
- 6:16Speaker 1: drug ink and all this here cocaine mafia. Everybody on
- 6:21Speaker 1: now go to jail or get killed. Our prisoners has
- 6:24Speaker 1: filled the day with our young boys because they thought
- 6:27Speaker 1: they could outslick the system. They thought they had a way.
- 6:31Speaker 1: They thought they said to them, been here, and they failed.
- 6:33Speaker 1: For the old cliche, man, I gotta do what I
- 6:35Speaker 1: gotta do. I gotta get this money. Well, the only
- 6:37Speaker 1: reason you gotta do what you gotta do is because,
- 6:39Speaker 1: like I say all the time, you didn't do what
- 6:41Speaker 1: you were supposed to do. It is but because of
- 6:44Speaker 1: His grace and mercy that we exist. And God has
- 6:47Speaker 1: just taken care of you, looking out for you. Got
- 6:50Speaker 1: some angels encamped around you until you get your mind
- 6:53Speaker 1: right so he can get you where you're going. But
- 6:55Speaker 1: now I want you to understand something. There's a cause
- 6:57Speaker 1: and a consequence and a penalty for everything we do.
- 7:01Speaker 1: This outside the will of God. That's for all of us.
- 7:04Speaker 1: All of us have consequences, penalties and everything that we
- 7:08Speaker 1: got to deal with outside of the will of God.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Understand that, clearly, don't get this thing twisted sideways. You
- 7:17Speaker 1: understand me. You know. I heard a young man tell
- 7:20Speaker 1: me one day. He said, uh, Steve, you know, man,
- 7:22Speaker 1: I just don't see how God looking out for me,
- 7:24Speaker 1: if he would allow all these things to happen to me.
- 7:27Speaker 1: I'm having such a hard time in my life. I
- 7:29Speaker 1: really don't see how there's a God looking out for me.
- 7:33Speaker 1: I live the young man, I said, the man, it's
- 7:35Speaker 1: just something. Man, you're still breathing. He said, yeah, I'm
- 7:38Speaker 1: standing here talking to you. I said, you're still free.
- 7:41Speaker 1: He said, what you mean. I said, you ain't locked
- 7:42Speaker 1: up by You said no, I'm standing here talking to you.
- 7:45Speaker 1: I said, where you get them clothes from? I bought him?
- 7:48Speaker 1: I said, when you bought him with what? I bought
- 7:49Speaker 1: him with money? I said, where you get the money from? Me?
- 7:52Speaker 1: So I got a job, mister, huh, I got a job.
- 7:55Speaker 1: I said, well, well where you live though, he's our
- 7:58Speaker 1: our apartment. I said, where you could department. It's the
- 8:01Speaker 1: Harve I'm working. I got an apartment. I got a job.
- 8:04Speaker 1: I was okay, okay, So now this this God ain't
- 8:07Speaker 1: looking out for you? Thinkin finish telling me what you're
- 8:10Speaker 1: telling me. Well, see, man, I'm having it real hard
- 8:13Speaker 1: right now. I said, hey, hey, man, you are you hungry?
- 8:17Speaker 1: You have you had lunch yet? He said yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 8:19Speaker 1: y'all already had lunch yet. I said, oh, okay, okay,
- 8:22Speaker 1: So gone finish telling me about this how God ain't
- 8:24Speaker 1: looking out for you? He said, oh. And you know, man,
- 8:27Speaker 1: every every time I try to do something, it seemed
- 8:30Speaker 1: like it go wrong for me. I said, but let
- 8:32Speaker 1: the man something. Man, I say, every time I go
- 8:34Speaker 1: wrong for y'all, say, somehow you survive it. He said, yeah, yeah,
- 8:38Speaker 1: I survive it some kind of way. But it's still
- 8:40Speaker 1: be all messed up for me. I say, but but
- 8:42Speaker 1: you still got through it though, he said yeah. I said, okay, man,
- 8:45Speaker 1: gone finish telling me how God ain't looking out for you?
- 8:48Speaker 1: And he stopped. He said him, it is Harvey. He said,
- 8:50Speaker 1: how come every time I tell you something that's going wrong,
- 8:53Speaker 1: you keep telling me God looking out for me? I said,
- 8:55Speaker 1: because you're still here, man, I said, See, you don't
- 8:58Speaker 1: understand it. I said, you seem the thing that you're
- 9:00Speaker 1: supposed to just supposed to skate through life, that it's
- 9:03Speaker 1: all supposed to go how you want it, any kind
- 9:05Speaker 1: of way. I said, Man, Jesus, the test of your faith,
- 9:08Speaker 1: I say, God looking out for you the whole time.
- 9:10Speaker 1: I say, every time you tell me something going wrong,
- 9:13Speaker 1: you seem to turn around and tell me how you
- 9:14Speaker 1: survived it. You keep telling me what ain't going right,
- 9:17Speaker 1: but you keep telling me all these things you have.
- 9:19Speaker 1: I said, man, so what you gotta do is you
- 9:21Speaker 1: gotta stop looking at the what you ain't got column
- 9:24Speaker 1: and start focusing on what you do have column. But
- 9:26Speaker 1: if you ain't happy with nothing heating done for you,
- 9:28Speaker 1: you wanted to keep piling stuff on. I said, you
- 9:31Speaker 1: fail in the test, young man. The test is are
- 9:34Speaker 1: you grateful for where you are right now? So I
- 9:36Speaker 1: could give you more so we could move forward. He said, oh, man,
- 9:39Speaker 1: I never even looked at like that. I said, well,
- 9:41Speaker 1: why don't you take your blessed cell phone somewhere and
- 9:43Speaker 1: sit down? He said, I think I'm going over here
- 9:45Speaker 1: and let you finish talking. I said, thank you. So
- 9:48Speaker 1: sometimes you just gotta look at what you do got, folks,
- 9:50Speaker 1: that's all it is, okay, you can't make it without God, y'all.
- 9:53Speaker 1: You got me today. All right, let's be clear, let's go.

- 22:56Speaker 1: After I admitted that I had a Managa choi with
- 22:58Speaker 1: two guys when I was in my twenties, he said
- 23:01Speaker 1: that was a lot for him to process. I was
- 23:04Speaker 1: just being honest. So what's the issue. What's that? What
- 23:08Speaker 1: I told y'all about being honest? But I told you
- 23:10Speaker 1: about what in the hell did you tell that fault?
- 23:18Speaker 1: Was just being honest. I had a manage a TWI
- 23:22Speaker 1: with two dude. What man, don't be honest with me? Damn.
- 23:27Speaker 1: So now he's sitting up there looking at you like,

- 25:04Speaker 1: I showed up and creeped through the theater until I
- 25:06Speaker 1: found him. He was sitting alone, and I felt stupid.
- 25:11Speaker 1: She insists he was with someone. If he was, then
- 25:14Speaker 1: where was his mystery day? It was because God, yo,
- 25:24Speaker 1: sister lied and what was the purpose of it? She
- 25:28Speaker 1: assumed they was walking in the movie he met somebody
- 25:32Speaker 1: was talking to us something. She ran jumped a gun.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Didn't know they were just in line talking. He would
- 25:39Speaker 1: have group for friends or somebody else. Went hallway, dude
- 25:42Speaker 1: went over there and set down. You come down there now,
- 25:45Speaker 1: he by herself. Well, ain't gonna so you married? You

- 26:11Speaker 1: myself and you're married. Okay. That has harmed me to
- 26:15Speaker 1: cut the TV on in my house by myself. All
- 26:17Speaker 1: these damn people my wife want to come in there
- 26:21Speaker 1: and sit down and watch sports. To me, I can't
- 26:22Speaker 1: stand there. She don't know nothing about spoil an ain't

- 26:47Speaker 1: It's a file. A flag on the plane. Why they
- 26:49Speaker 1: why that flag on the ground? Man, hell, hell, hell,
- 26:56Speaker 1: please go by the Oh that's yeah, so that's the
- 27:01Speaker 1: King said, Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, that's super Bowl too.
- 27:09Speaker 1: Oh man, yea all right. Last one, Steve. This is
- 27:14Speaker 1: from Belissa in Stockbridge. Belissa says, I'm tired of my
- 27:19Speaker 1: husband eating my food off my plate. I have to
- 27:22Speaker 1: hurry up and eat, especially if it's one of my
- 27:25Speaker 1: favorite foods, because my husband will get big portions of
- 27:28Speaker 1: my food and eat all of his food too. How
- 27:31Speaker 1: do I keep him off my plate on the other
- 27:37Speaker 1: way around? Yeah, usually it is yeah, yeah, he go
- 27:47Speaker 1: ahead to get two armed trading. You gotta stop pot
- 27:50Speaker 1: of beans or something you just sustain, just sustain of Yeah,
- 27:56Speaker 1: I gotta have a pot of Pinto's in there at
- 27:59Speaker 1: all time. My mama just kept a pot of beans
- 28:04Speaker 1: so they wouldn't one, so she should order two untraced
- 28:09Speaker 1: to his one. Is that what you're saying, keep a
- 28:13Speaker 1: pot of beans on the stove. Yeah, just really, if
- 28:15Speaker 1: you have the house, you gotta have some beans or
- 28:18Speaker 1: rice in the stove or oven that I mean, refrigerate
- 28:21Speaker 1: that at all times. That's the rice, you know. Spi
- 28:24Speaker 1: them up to me towping vesketballs up in the telling
- 28:26Speaker 1: the Chuntese food and that way he always going in
- 28:32Speaker 1: and get a little something extra to put a lot
- 28:33Speaker 1: of rice on his plates, a side of pride rice,
- 28:37Speaker 1: fill them up. What the potatoes don't go with? Let's
- 28:41Speaker 1: put some potatoes on the slane don't give makes them
- 28:44Speaker 1: forget it, make a lot of forgetting late man. Yeah, okay,
- 28:51Speaker 1: that since you Since you said that, Now does it
- 28:55Speaker 1: bother guys when their wife eats off their plane? Yes, yes, yes, yes,
- 29:01Speaker 1: and and they and they don't care. Yeah, but not
- 29:06Speaker 1: saying I can't say yet all because later you're gonna
- 29:11Speaker 1: want to bite off her plate. So yeah, you know
- 29:16Speaker 1: what I'm saying. So all right, thank you, Cello, Thank you, Cello.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, special guest
- 29:23Speaker 1: family member Cheryl Underwood. Right after this, you're listening to
- 29:28Speaker 1: the Stave Harvey Morning Show. Well, you know, many of
- 29:33Speaker 1: us are familiar with meta Musil, the daily fiber supplement
- 29:37Speaker 1: that helps support digestive health and heart health by lowering
- 29:41Speaker 1: cholesterol and maintaining healthy blood sugar levels. Madame Museol has
- 29:45Speaker 1: partnered with our good friend and family member. We love her.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Cheryl Underwood and Cheryl ladies and gentlemen is coming back
- 29:54Speaker 1: home and joining us today to talk about the many
- 29:57Speaker 1: benefits of Mena Musil Hey Shane on the Wood and
- 30:05Speaker 1: the building. One up girl, man, listen, I thank killing it. Yeah,
- 30:11Speaker 1: people start representing yes, you better know it all the
- 30:15Speaker 1: time and looking good doing it and feeling good doing it.
- 30:19Speaker 1: But I'm so happy to be home on the Steve
- 30:22Speaker 1: Harvey mort itself with the family. That's what I'm talking about.
- 30:27Speaker 1: How much have you long? I love between about one
- 30:31Speaker 1: hundred and five hundred and fifteen pounds. Wow, wow, yeah
- 30:36Speaker 1: you for real? Yeah he looked yeah, he looked good.
- 30:41Speaker 1: Come on, no, well you know what honestly, god, I
- 30:44Speaker 1: was I was between two two thirty so I was
- 30:48Speaker 1: like about about two hundred and thirty pounds, yes, yes,
- 30:54Speaker 1: at that weight you know, diabetic, high pertensive and everything,
- 30:57Speaker 1: and hiding from my doctors and everything. So then the
- 31:01Speaker 1: first thing I had to do was figure out why
- 31:03Speaker 1: did I feel a fluggish and not have energy. It's
- 31:06Speaker 1: because I wasn't get enough fiber. And that's how Metal
- 31:09Speaker 1: Muso started me on my journey to health and wellness
- 31:13Speaker 1: and we're coming out with something later in the year
- 31:16Speaker 1: where we're gonna get more into that performative comedy space
- 31:21Speaker 1: and talk about health and wellness and get people on
- 31:25Speaker 1: a journey to discover what they can do. And metal
- 31:28Speaker 1: music what's the start of that? And once I got
- 31:30Speaker 1: on the two week challenge, I started to have more
- 31:34Speaker 1: energy and I felt lighter and I could do more things.
- 31:38Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that was
- 31:42Speaker 1: that was That was the beginning. Because most people don't
- 31:45Speaker 1: get enough fiber and they diet. You know, to get
- 31:48Speaker 1: your daily amount of fiber, you'd have to eat nine
- 31:51Speaker 1: cups of fixed, cups of carriage, seven apples, nine bananas.
- 31:56Speaker 1: Now I know people say, well, why don't you do
- 31:58Speaker 1: it through food, Well, you have to eat a lot
- 32:01Speaker 1: of that to do that, and most people are just
- 32:04Speaker 1: not going to do that. So that's why, you know,
- 32:07Speaker 1: I'm a spokesperson from Metal Musical. I'm not a medical doctor.
- 32:10Speaker 1: I'm just a person that enjoys the taste. I do
- 32:13Speaker 1: it in the morning. I set out a glass of
- 32:15Speaker 1: spoons and once you take that fighter for and you
- 32:18Speaker 1: eliminate the waste to waves you down, then you feel
- 32:21Speaker 1: lighter and more energetic. Your voice even sounds lighter, Cheryl,
- 32:25Speaker 1: You know what I'm because, Yeah, I want people to
- 32:32Speaker 1: be clear when we get older Black people. You know,
- 32:35Speaker 1: we think, okay, it's okay to bevluptous, but you can
- 32:38Speaker 1: be bluptous, just don't be unhealthy. Because I was effect
- 32:41Speaker 1: as a mug and my right juniors. You know, I
- 32:45Speaker 1: would expected as a mug back then. And I love myself,
- 32:48Speaker 1: you see what I'm saying. So I was giving that
- 32:50Speaker 1: weight and then I was going to the doctor. Didn't
- 32:52Speaker 1: know I was pre diabetic, didn't know I was high protensive,
- 32:55Speaker 1: didn't know that I have I might have issues with
- 32:57Speaker 1: my cholesterol. And that's what I love about taking meta
- 33:00Speaker 1: musial daily because it supports hart helps by loring cholesterol
- 33:04Speaker 1: and helps you maintain healthy blood sugar level. But if
- 33:08Speaker 1: you don't like the drinking of metal muco, you can
- 33:10Speaker 1: do the fiber gummies, you can do the tablets. We
- 33:14Speaker 1: have fiber things that kind of like cookies. They taste
- 33:16Speaker 1: really really good with a little tea or something, you know,
- 33:19Speaker 1: a little whatever you want to drink with it. But
- 33:22Speaker 1: meta musa really what helps me. Yeah, yeah, it's a
- 33:26Speaker 1: it's a fiber thin cookie chocolate apple cinnamon flavor, whichever
- 33:32Speaker 1: one you like. Seed and sometimes you just have a
- 33:34Speaker 1: nice cup of coffee or a nice cup of hot
- 33:37Speaker 1: tea and have a fiber thin and get your fiber.
- 33:40Speaker 1: And they got gummies. The gummies are delicts. I really
- 33:43Speaker 1: love the gummies, but I love metamies. And that's why
- 33:46Speaker 1: I want people to feel lighter and more energetic like
- 33:48Speaker 1: I do. Yeah we can. I've never seen you stay
- 33:55Speaker 1: on point more than this, obviously give and you're an
- 34:00Speaker 1: amazing amount of clarity because lord, I ain't never seen
- 34:04Speaker 1: you stay as this focused on this damn shelf. Normally
- 34:08Speaker 1: we got the real you in Sheryl. Where are you
- 34:10Speaker 1: going with all this? But see, that's what happened. When
- 34:15Speaker 1: you get fine. Though, you get fine, you talk, you know,
- 34:18Speaker 1: you think you know I've been getting wrong. I'm gonna yeah,
- 34:20Speaker 1: she's different now, you know. Really. Somebody said I was
- 34:25Speaker 1: aging and reversed. They took a picture of screen grabbing me.
- 34:28Speaker 1: They said I was aging in reverse. And I'm only
- 34:31Speaker 1: five too. Now this is the thing too, And I
- 34:33Speaker 1: want people to understand. While I'm not talenting this as
- 34:36Speaker 1: a diet, I want people to see that this started
- 34:39Speaker 1: my journey on health and wellness because I had to
- 34:42Speaker 1: get this waste out of me, and then I didn't
- 34:44Speaker 1: have energy to do what I wanted to do. But
- 34:48Speaker 1: once I did what I want to, sign it up
- 34:50Speaker 1: for a two week challenge, and then I started to
- 34:52Speaker 1: notice those benefits and I started to get prompts something
- 34:56Speaker 1: and it just felt good to have this be part
- 34:58Speaker 1: of my life. But there are other things that are
- 35:01Speaker 1: happening to me. I want people to know that. That's
- 35:03Speaker 1: why I'm gonna come back out and They're probably gonna
- 35:06Speaker 1: do it through CBS affiliate to come out and talk
- 35:09Speaker 1: to people, because I want people to see me. And
- 35:12Speaker 1: I couldn't believe I went from a side twenty four
- 35:15Speaker 1: to now I'm in single digits. I'm wearing sides eight
- 35:19Speaker 1: and since y'all know how that feels as a wonderful, Yeah,
- 35:23Speaker 1: I want to congratulate you cut. So I really want
- 35:27Speaker 1: people to concentrate on you on your health and METAMUSO
- 35:30Speaker 1: was to start it at and getting enough fiber in
- 35:33Speaker 1: your diet. You can do it with metamusil. Take the
- 35:36Speaker 1: two week challenge. Sign up for it for fourteen days.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Sign up for you get prompts that will help you

- 36:11Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up right after this.
- 36:14Speaker 1: You're listening to show? All right? So guys, the Big
- 36:18Speaker 1: Game is Sunday and we'll all be watching a game
- 36:22Speaker 1: for various reasons. So here's some of the questions. What's
- 36:25Speaker 1: the most exciting part of Sunday's Big Game to you?
- 36:28Speaker 1: Here's another question. Is it the fact that there will
- 36:31Speaker 1: be two black quarterbacks making history in this year's game?
- 36:34Speaker 1: Are you watching for the commercials or are you watching
- 36:38Speaker 1: for the halftime show with Rihanna? And what's what team
- 36:42Speaker 1: are you pulling for? So all that I'm I'm watching
- 36:45Speaker 1: the game, that's what I want. I want to see
- 36:47Speaker 1: the game. Yea, the most important part surely is kickoff
- 36:52Speaker 1: every beginning and everything that happens after that. Yeah, that
- 36:58Speaker 1: clock start running deestival because the two week hype of
- 37:01Speaker 1: Super Bowl is sickly. I don't even watch it no more.
- 37:05Speaker 1: I used to let him drag me through it, watch
- 37:07Speaker 1: all the interviews with the players, all the hype. All
- 37:09Speaker 1: I stopped doing that. U. No, I haven't looked at anything.
- 37:14Speaker 1: The game is Sunday, That's all it needs to be.
- 37:16Speaker 1: I'm excited about two things. It's usually when I'm gonna
- 37:20Speaker 1: eat that's important, and then the game itself. And all
- 37:27Speaker 1: I want to see is Philadelphia Eagle dann a really
- 37:33Speaker 1: gonna be a game? It can be a game Philly,
- 37:39Speaker 1: of course, all damn bait w d A s one
- 37:47Speaker 1: h five point three like Philly. For me, Jan hurt
- 37:56Speaker 1: and the Philadelphia Eagles gonna win the Super Bowl. And
- 38:00Speaker 1: I'm really pulling form because I've always been a Jalen
- 38:04Speaker 1: Hurst fan. He's a bro sci fi all the way.
- 38:07Speaker 1: Let's go. I got nothing else in it. Fight. We
- 38:10Speaker 1: got two black quarterbacks, do Patrick Mahon. I love the
- 38:14Speaker 1: Kansas City Chiefs. I love the run, I love I
- 38:16Speaker 1: love the game. I like the uniforms. I like a
- 38:19Speaker 1: head standing gold as read. I love Gates, Barbie Q,
- 38:25Speaker 1: people in Kansas City. I love everything Kansa. I love
- 38:29Speaker 1: the bridge that you better not cross because they don't
- 38:32Speaker 1: this Kansas City don't like that. Damn Kansas City. And
- 38:35Speaker 1: I got all that. Damn it. Philadelphia Eagle Sunday in
- 38:42Speaker 1: the super Bowl with a win would really really matter
- 38:46Speaker 1: to men. Why is it that? Why is it that
- 38:49Speaker 1: the super Bowl? You got to watch that with your wife?
- 38:53Speaker 1: He has y'all have to be together for that game. No,
- 38:58Speaker 1: su Why are you saying no, she's gonna coming there
- 39:04Speaker 1: for the half time? All right, leave me alone doing
- 39:11Speaker 1: the super Bowl. I want to thank the Lord for that.
- 39:13Speaker 1: Thank you coming up, and you're fortunate. Al right, guys,
- 39:19Speaker 1: coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour, Roscoe
- 39:21Speaker 1: Wallace will be in the building right after this. You're

- 39:56Speaker 1: stay won, baby, stay won. And what I'm coming? What's
- 39:59Speaker 1: up let and the legend. Oh, Danny, wait however you want? Hey,
- 40:07Speaker 1: we're going on today, We're in the world. Well, I'm
- 40:11Speaker 1: glad the nephew just brought up the word legend, because
- 40:15Speaker 1: um the legend herself. Pattie LaBelle was recently on the
- 40:19Speaker 1: Jennifer Hudson Show. Her talk show. She was on there
- 40:22Speaker 1: this week and Miss Patty said that she's open to
- 40:26Speaker 1: dating again at the age of seventy. Oh oh right, yeah,
- 40:33Speaker 1: she said, and I quote, I'm too good to be
- 40:37Speaker 1: so low. So Roscoe, here's the question to you. Okay,
- 40:47Speaker 1: stay always, stay always? Yeah, So Roscoe, are you single?
- 40:53Speaker 1: First of all? Are you? What about me? Are you singing? Little?
- 41:00Speaker 1: You know you don't look at him a petty I'm
- 41:03Speaker 1: too cold to be alone. Break it down, Rosco, me
- 41:09Speaker 1: and you we might were gonna give it a shot.
- 41:12Speaker 1: First of all, always in mind. You know I wrote
- 41:15Speaker 1: so many songs for you. Michael McDonald, Oh my own
- 41:22Speaker 1: you wrote girl here? Yeah, I wrote it. He said
- 41:28Speaker 1: that it has to be true. Oh it's true. Well,
- 41:34Speaker 1: if I ain't write, who wrote it? Did? Hello? Hello?
- 41:39Speaker 1: We wanna call it? I was just trying to look
- 41:41Speaker 1: up who wrote on my own Oh, you're gonna look
- 41:44Speaker 1: it up, Burt. Oh you're talking about the white boy.
- 41:48Speaker 1: Oh no, he didn't write the original? What was the
- 41:52Speaker 1: original roster? I wrote the song I'm alone? You know
- 41:57Speaker 1: how white folks is? How are they always won't take
- 42:01Speaker 1: one or two words? And here right, I'm all alone.
- 42:07Speaker 1: I'm by myselfe alone. She needn't he but by myself? Ohlone,
- 42:18Speaker 1: you know? And then he's that white man come along
- 42:21Speaker 1: and then took the songs here on my own? Ain't
- 42:24Speaker 1: what I said? Let me ask you this, what about
- 42:29Speaker 1: what about Patty's head? If you only knew? What about that? One?
- 42:32Speaker 1: Wrote that too? What? Okay? To call it? Who? Who? You? Who?
- 42:38Speaker 1: I gotta look it up. I don't know. I gotta
- 42:41Speaker 1: look it up. So we know you're gonna take credit.
- 42:44Speaker 1: Go ahead, and you'll go ahead. But soon as you
- 42:46Speaker 1: find what name is? If you only knew, if you're alone,
- 42:50Speaker 1: you know that one? If you only knew that I
- 42:53Speaker 1: wrote eve you own lad knew not he was gonna dude,
- 43:04Speaker 1: then I would too. It sounds it sounds the same
- 43:11Speaker 1: car Kenny Gamble, Kenny got down. But damn, if you
- 43:24Speaker 1: only knew it, I wrote that song right down and
- 43:28Speaker 1: the name of the original song was It's only us
- 43:32Speaker 1: two us to us too, on us too, It's just
- 43:44Speaker 1: me and you. I like it, love you who Yeah,
- 43:56Speaker 1: it's just us too, already told you and Patty, me
- 44:05Speaker 1: and you saying to young womanly you nw oh lord.
- 44:18Speaker 1: All right? Coming up is a nephew with the prank
- 44:21Speaker 1: phone call. Right after this. You're listening to the stry
- 44:25Speaker 1: Morning show. Coming up at about four minutes after the hour.
- 44:29Speaker 1: It's my strawberry letter for today, and get this subject
- 44:32Speaker 1: his ex wife and I can't stand him. We'll find
- 44:38Speaker 1: out what that's all about just a few but right
- 44:41Speaker 1: now it is time for the nephew and the t
- 44:44Speaker 1: and today's prank phone call. What you got for us? Now, well,
- 44:47Speaker 1: it's time for the big game this weekend, Shirley. Everybody
- 44:49Speaker 1: getting ready, everybody getting ready to throw apart, everybody getting
- 44:52Speaker 1: their wings together, everybody getting your nachos together. And so
- 44:55Speaker 1: this prank right here is super Bowl Party. Super Bowl.
- 45:02Speaker 1: If you would hello, I'm trying to reach Gerard. Yeah,
- 45:06Speaker 1: this is who's calling. Hey, this is this is Curtis Man.
- 45:09Speaker 1: I'm I'm one of your neighbors in neighborhood. I'm about three,
- 45:13Speaker 1: I think about three streets over from you. I'm reaching
- 45:16Speaker 1: out to you, man, I know the super Bowl coming up?
- 45:19Speaker 1: Are you are you? Are you playing on throwing your
- 45:22Speaker 1: your annual super Bowl party this year? Man? How you
- 45:24Speaker 1: get you said you in the neighborhood? Yeah, yeah, I
- 45:27Speaker 1: live in the neighborhood. I'm three streets over from you.
- 45:29Speaker 1: Oh okay, yeah, how'd you hear about the super Bowl party? Man?
- 45:33Speaker 1: I mean, I mean everybody knows about it. I mean,
- 45:35Speaker 1: you know, it's it's it's it's pretty big. Every year
- 45:37Speaker 1: you got you know, I mean it's it's it's cars everywhere.
- 45:40Speaker 1: I mean, you guys be me rocking for all through
- 45:43Speaker 1: the knife on super Bowl Night. So I'm calling to
- 45:46Speaker 1: see if you are you throwing it this year? Um? Yes?
- 45:49Speaker 1: And you I do it every year, man, I do
- 45:51Speaker 1: it every year. All the neighbors come over, everybody comes over.
- 45:54Speaker 1: We have a good time. So yeah, we're gonna be
- 45:56Speaker 1: doing it again this year. While what's up? Okay? So
- 45:59Speaker 1: here here what I want to tell you, man, every
- 46:01Speaker 1: year your party too loud, and it's people parking all
- 46:07Speaker 1: in front of other people's houses. You know, I'm three
- 46:09Speaker 1: streets old. It's people parking in my driveway to get
- 46:12Speaker 1: to your house, and to be honest with you, is
- 46:14Speaker 1: too loud. And I'm just telling you this year, if
- 46:17Speaker 1: that is loud, this year, I'm calling the police this year. Man,
- 46:21Speaker 1: this is what you really called me for. You really
- 46:23Speaker 1: called me to threaten me, to tell me you're gonna
- 46:24Speaker 1: call the police shut down my party. Bro, You know
- 46:27Speaker 1: what I mean? Too loud? Man, met everybody and everybody
- 46:32Speaker 1: in the neighborhood come to my party. Man, ain't know
- 46:34Speaker 1: everybody in the neighborhood don't come because I damn sh
- 46:36Speaker 1: ain't been there. That's because you ain't get an invite. Hater.
- 46:43Speaker 1: That's why you ain't getting no invite. You, I said,
- 46:46Speaker 1: you hater. That's why I'm not. No. I ain't no hater.
- 46:48Speaker 1: I'm just telling you your stuff is out of control. Man.
- 46:52Speaker 1: You gotta tone it. You gotta good control of your party.
- 46:54Speaker 1: You don't have control of it. Man, you're telling me
- 46:57Speaker 1: how to control my control. Your mouth started. Let's start
- 47:00Speaker 1: right there, all right. You ain't calling no guy. Believe
- 47:03Speaker 1: you ain't doing none of that. We ain't doing Oh
- 47:05Speaker 1: yea yeah, hold on, you ain't telling me what I'm
- 47:07Speaker 1: not gonna do. All right, you the one you, you,
- 47:11Speaker 1: the one on the last party. You the one got
- 47:13Speaker 1: people parking and people driveway and yeah, that's right. If
- 47:16Speaker 1: it happens this year, I'm calling the police. You ain't
- 47:19Speaker 1: calling nobody. You ain't calling that every person. I'm gonna
- 47:22Speaker 1: tell you that right now. Okay, So how are you
- 47:25Speaker 1: fenna stop me? How are you fee to stop me
- 47:27Speaker 1: from making sure I got peace and on my street
- 47:30Speaker 1: at my house. I'm gonna stop you with a size
- 47:32Speaker 1: twelve right up, y'all. Okay, okay, I'm gonna tell you.
- 47:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you again. Control your party, get the
- 47:39Speaker 1: noise level where it ain't disturbing everybody in the neighborhood,
- 47:43Speaker 1: and stop people from parking in people's driveway. And I'm
- 47:46Speaker 1: gonna tell you again, I'm about to have a party
- 47:50Speaker 1: with my size twelve right up in yak. Hey, dude,
- 47:54Speaker 1: it is what it is. It is what a look
- 47:57Speaker 1: for the police to be at your party? All right?
- 47:59Speaker 1: I ain't close look for the people to look for
- 48:02Speaker 1: the police to be at your damn party, because evidently
- 48:04Speaker 1: you don't respect your neighbors. It's what it is, you know,
- 48:06Speaker 1: you know what I do respect my neighbors, because all
- 48:08Speaker 1: the neighbors in the neighborhood come except for you, because
- 48:11Speaker 1: we already know you're on y'ar on that list. Yet
- 48:14Speaker 1: I hated that's the neighbor that be calling toe trucks
- 48:16Speaker 1: and you know, complaining about leaves and yard that I
- 48:21Speaker 1: know exactly who you are. That's why you never got
- 48:23Speaker 1: to invite to the party because you do not even
- 48:26Speaker 1: know me. Dude, you use the idea who I am
- 48:29Speaker 1: use a buster? Use it. I'm but I'm gonna be
- 48:34Speaker 1: the buster that's calling Poe Poles to be over there
- 48:37Speaker 1: on Sunday. Listen to snitch snitching that's ain't that's not snitching. No,
- 48:46Speaker 1: it's controlling the atmosphere and stopping it from being out
- 48:50Speaker 1: of control. You are let me answer something. So so
- 48:54Speaker 1: you think people that's going to your party are to
- 48:56Speaker 1: be at the park in my driveway? Listen, man, I
- 49:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna be real with you. I'm sorry if anybody
- 49:02Speaker 1: man parked in your driveway, But it is nothing for
- 49:04Speaker 1: you to just knock on the door and say, hey,
- 49:06Speaker 1: excuse me. You know I'm trying to get out. You know, whatever, whatever,
- 49:09Speaker 1: I make sure I put it on the flyers that
- 49:12Speaker 1: we don't want people blocking driveways. But you know, obviously
- 49:15Speaker 1: it happened, and I apologize for that, But that's no
- 49:17Speaker 1: reason for you to be going on extra crazy and
- 49:20Speaker 1: going to extra mind talking about I'm calling the police.
- 49:23Speaker 1: You what are you're calling nobody? Man? Shut up? That
- 49:26Speaker 1: right there is what's wrong with black people today. Instead
- 49:28Speaker 1: of coming to me like a man, you're coming to
- 49:30Speaker 1: me like a coward. Instead of coming to me like
- 49:33Speaker 1: a man and saying, listen, man. You know because the
- 49:35Speaker 1: first thing you're talking about, oh, I'm gonna call the police,
- 49:39Speaker 1: and then when the police come and beat your black
- 49:41Speaker 1: pass up, you're gonna be on the other line complaining,
- 49:44Speaker 1: talk about to be you want to be sure and
- 49:47Speaker 1: doing this and that, don't you know that's how you
- 49:49Speaker 1: get up man. So as black people, we gotta learn
- 49:53Speaker 1: how to stick together and come together. If you want
- 49:55Speaker 1: to come to the party, it sounds like you're a
- 49:57Speaker 1: silent hayter on the loaf for real, like you really
- 49:59Speaker 1: want to come to party, but because you're the only
- 50:01Speaker 1: person in the neighborhood that hasn't been invited. Now you're
- 50:04Speaker 1: talking about calling the police. I know exactly who you are.
- 50:08Speaker 1: Who am I You that dude that live up two
- 50:10Speaker 1: three streets over and you drive that that red pickup
- 50:13Speaker 1: truck with the flannel shirts and all of that. You're
- 50:16Speaker 1: the only person in the hood driving a red pickup
- 50:19Speaker 1: truck and the flannel It's wrong with you, man, That's
- 50:21Speaker 1: why you ain't getting no invite. And on top of that,
- 50:24Speaker 1: all those dogs you got running around in your backyard,
- 50:26Speaker 1: you need to clean them up. They'd be back there
- 50:29Speaker 1: and everything, and then the other neighbors can't even have
- 50:31Speaker 1: barbecues because you're big, rusty ass dogs running around. You
- 50:35Speaker 1: got a nerve to be talking about you calling the
- 50:36Speaker 1: police when we need to be calling the city on you.
- 50:39Speaker 1: All that trash and you got in front of your house. Man,
- 50:42Speaker 1: get out of here. I'm gonna call the cops on
- 50:44Speaker 1: you right now. Well if you ain't, because you're wearing
- 50:46Speaker 1: the flannel shirts, with red pickup truck and the dogs
- 50:49Speaker 1: running around with calling the front yard, in the backyard
- 50:52Speaker 1: and fall over the place, Who the are you that
- 50:54Speaker 1: tell me? Say no more? I'm gonna tell you who
- 50:57Speaker 1: I am. This is nephew Tommy from this Steve Harvey
- 51:00Speaker 1: Morning Show. You just got pranked by your next dough neighbor, Brian,
- 51:06Speaker 1: That's who I am. You know what? You know what now,
- 51:15Speaker 1: I'm definitely gonna kick you in his shot. Man, you
- 51:21Speaker 1: had me going. Man, I hope the man with the
- 51:23Speaker 1: red pickup truck and in the flannel shirt ain't listening
- 51:27Speaker 1: to it all right, Man, I got one more thing.
- 51:33Speaker 1: You gotta tell me what's the baddest and I mean
- 51:35Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the land. Man, you already
- 51:38Speaker 1: know it's the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Come on, baby,
- 51:42Speaker 1: come on, come on, game. We need to learn how
- 51:51Speaker 1: to stick together. Hate us came over here, just knocked
- 51:57Speaker 1: on the door, he say. But when you make that
- 52:00Speaker 1: call and then they beat your hack, that's why you
- 52:08Speaker 1: are getting little invite that red pickle truck and them
- 52:10Speaker 1: flattels trait and them dolls in your backyard, the whole neighborhood,
- 52:19Speaker 1: thinking up the entire neighborhood. I'm in the neighborhood. I'm

- 53:56Speaker 1: Thank enough you subject his ex wife and I can't
- 53:59Speaker 1: stand him. Dear Stephen Shirley. My husband is really on
- 54:03Speaker 1: my nerves and I need some advice. We've been married
- 54:06Speaker 1: for eleven years and his first wife warned me not
- 54:09Speaker 1: to marry him. I met his ex wife before we
- 54:12Speaker 1: got married, and she smirked when she saw my engagement
- 54:15Speaker 1: ring and pulled me to the side and asked me
- 54:18Speaker 1: if I really knew him. I thought she was hating,
- 54:21Speaker 1: but now that we're really good friends, I know she
- 54:24Speaker 1: was only looking out for me. Three years ago, his
- 54:27Speaker 1: son graduated from college and we all stayed in an
- 54:31Speaker 1: airbnb together because the hotels were booked. His ex and
- 54:35Speaker 1: I drink the same alcohol, We like the same foods,
- 54:37Speaker 1: and we shop at the same places. We sat up
- 54:40Speaker 1: and talked and laughed all night while my husband's petty
- 54:44Speaker 1: behind was sleep. The next morning, he told me that
- 54:47Speaker 1: I could not be nice to her, so I made
- 54:50Speaker 1: it my goal to become her friend. Since then, his
- 54:53Speaker 1: X and I have been besties and he can't take it.
- 54:57Speaker 1: We have chosen each other over him, but not in
- 55:00Speaker 1: a sexual way. He stopped taking me on dates, so
- 55:04Speaker 1: now I hang out with her. My stepson will join
- 55:08Speaker 1: us out at times, and it drives my husband nuts.
- 55:11Speaker 1: We're planning a girl's trip from May and my husband
- 55:14Speaker 1: is trying to forbid me from going. He hasn't figured
- 55:17Speaker 1: out that he can't tell me what to do anymore.
- 55:19Speaker 1: He's turned out to be exactly what his ex wife
- 55:22Speaker 1: told me he'd be, and we can't stand him. I'm
- 55:25Speaker 1: not going to leave him because he has some minor
- 55:28Speaker 1: health issues and I'm not heartless, but I have made
- 55:31Speaker 1: it clear that he is not a priority anymore. I
- 55:34Speaker 1: am sure you're wondering why I dislike him so much,
- 55:38Speaker 1: and it all started with him emotionally abusing me and
- 55:41Speaker 1: being a dictator instead of a partner. Is it wrong
- 55:45Speaker 1: for me to be friends with his ex wife? Why
- 55:48Speaker 1: is this such a problem for him? Okay, you can
- 55:51Speaker 1: be friends with whoever you want to be with. I mean,
- 55:54Speaker 1: I am surprised because I don't know anyone who does this,
- 55:58Speaker 1: but it's obviously a problem for your husband because it's
- 56:01Speaker 1: his ex wife and he doesn't like that. He can't
- 56:03Speaker 1: control this situation. Emotionally abusive people and dictators love to
- 56:09Speaker 1: control others. Sorry, but he can't pick your friends. He
- 56:12Speaker 1: can't even if the friend is his ex. He feels
- 56:16Speaker 1: your loyalty should be to him since he's your husband
- 56:19Speaker 1: and because she is his ex for a reason. You
- 56:23Speaker 1: started out doing all of this to get back at
- 56:25Speaker 1: him for treating you badly, and it's working. This has
- 56:29Speaker 1: really made him mad, so get used to the fact
- 56:32Speaker 1: that he will never ever be comfortable with you, guys
- 56:36Speaker 1: being friends, and at this point he can either accept
- 56:38Speaker 1: it or let it go because you and his ex
- 56:40Speaker 1: are real friends. Now. Is this weird and unusual? Absolutely? Yes,
- 56:46Speaker 1: it is. You guys bonded over your husband's bad behavior.
- 56:50Speaker 1: You said you're only staying with him because of his
- 56:53Speaker 1: minor health issues and you're not heartless. He really should
- 56:57Speaker 1: be grateful for you to you for taking care of him,
- 57:00Speaker 1: because I'm sure you would be gone if he wasn't sick.
- 57:02Speaker 1: So hopefully he'll get well soon and then you guys
- 57:06Speaker 1: can sell your differences and more than likely go your
- 57:09Speaker 1: separate ways. Steve, Oh you know this letter? I don't know, man,
- 57:23Speaker 1: I don't want to get it. You know crazy My
- 57:26Speaker 1: ex wife and I can't stand this woman is married
- 57:30Speaker 1: to this guy for eleven years. His ex wife and
- 57:33Speaker 1: I can't stand this letter is about this lady's been
- 57:37Speaker 1: married to this dude for eleven years and the first
- 57:41Speaker 1: wife warned me not to marry him. So she met
- 57:45Speaker 1: the ex wife before they got married. He smirked when
- 57:48Speaker 1: she saw my engagement ring, pull me to the side
- 57:52Speaker 1: and asked me if I really knew him. I thought
- 57:55Speaker 1: she was hating, But now we're really good friends. What
- 58:01Speaker 1: that that really happened? She found out that you were
- 58:06Speaker 1: engaged to her ex husband. She pulls you to the
- 58:09Speaker 1: side for what and ask you did you really know him?
- 58:14Speaker 1: And now you all are really good friends. Something something
- 58:19Speaker 1: smelling meal fishy here? Now I know she was only
- 58:24Speaker 1: looking out for me. Three years ago, his son graduated
- 58:27Speaker 1: from college. We all stayed in an airbnb together because
- 58:31Speaker 1: the hotels were booked. His X and I drank the
- 58:36Speaker 1: same alcohol, We like the same food, We shop at
- 58:39Speaker 1: the same place. We set him talking to laught all
- 58:41Speaker 1: night while my husband petted behind was sleep Well, y'all
- 58:45Speaker 1: drank same alcohol, eat the same food shop in the
- 58:47Speaker 1: same place. Well, because y'all his type. Y'all are his type,
- 58:56Speaker 1: and I got news for you and her. He's y'all's type.
- 59:02Speaker 1: See both of y'all decided to marry him because he's
- 59:09Speaker 1: y'all's type, and y'all are his type. That's why all
- 59:15Speaker 1: y'all have to add B and B. That's why you
- 59:17Speaker 1: and her friends. This just type of people the same. Wow.
- 59:22Speaker 1: The next morning, he told me I couldn't be nice
- 59:24Speaker 1: to her, so I made him my goal to become
- 59:26Speaker 1: her friends. Since then, his acts and I have been
- 59:28Speaker 1: besties and he can't take it, okay, So now you
- 59:32Speaker 1: just want to be defiant. I understand that you ain't
- 59:35Speaker 1: gonna let him tell you what to do. Okay, that's
- 59:37Speaker 1: no problem with that. I've heard that before and it
- 59:40Speaker 1: usually works out for the woman. So you're doing it.
- 59:44Speaker 1: We have chosen each other over him, but not in
- 59:46Speaker 1: a sexual way. He stopped taking me on dates, so
- 59:49Speaker 1: now I hang out with her, and you think he
- 59:52Speaker 1: stopped taking you on dates? Why you don't see nothing
- 59:55Speaker 1: wrong you done at all? Okay, we'll come back. I'll
- 59:59Speaker 1: tell you it's really happening. Maybe you ain't gonna agree
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: with me, but any you know, I don't care. All right, Steve,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: ain't on. We'll have fort two of your response coming
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: up at twenty three minutes after today's Strawberry letter. Subject
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: his ex wife and I can't stand him. We'll get
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: Come on, Let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject is
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: his ex wife and I can't stand him. This later
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: been married to this man for eleven years, and before
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: they got married, his ex wife warned him, warned her
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: not to marry him. They met somewhere before they got married.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: She smirked when she saw my engagement ring that was Hayden.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: Pull me to the side and asked me if I
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: really knew him some O hate. I thought she was hating.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: That's because that's what it is. But now that we're
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: really good friends, I know she was only looking out
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: for me. Really. Three years ago and son graduating from college,
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: we all stayed at an NBA together because the hotels
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: were booked. Y'all drink the same alcohol, like same food
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: shop at the same place. That's because y'all his type.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: But I want you to also remember that both of
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: you all married him, so he is y'all's type. So
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: we got all types of people sitting together at this
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: A and b ab and b all types of people
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: that at one point thought each other was cool. Next
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: day your husband told you couldn't be friends with him,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: and that's you've made an issue. Y'all have become best
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: as he can't take it. We have chosen each other
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: over him, okay, but not in a sexual way. He
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: stopped taking me on dates, so now I hang out
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: with her and you don't. You don't. You don't think
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: why he stopped taking your own dates. You don't see
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: that might have something do with this friendship, might have
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: something do it. You ain't what you was. Maybe he
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: ain't what he was. She ain't what she was. He
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: ain't what he was to her. Y'all A bunch of
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: hats been sitting up in this damn a being b
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: to me. So now here we go. My stepson would
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: join us sometimes, and okay, now that right there, need
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: to start making some notes about that. When the stepson
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: is joining the two women probably want to make a
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: mental note of that. Now, I ain't saying nothing because
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: I don't want to get nothing, you know, nothing put
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: on me. I'm gonna just a lie. Everybody think what
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: they want to think. The son hangs out with the
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: mama and the and the step mama. What who? Who?
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: Who graduate from college and hang out with their mama
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: and they stepmama who? Okay, I'm just telling you might
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: want to make a mental note of that because it's
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: gonna be some information shared later on in life. And then, uh,
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: this drives my husband nuts. We're planning a girl's trip
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: for me and my husband is trying to forbid me
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: from going. I think he's too late for that. He
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: ain't figured out, he can't tell me what to do.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: He's turned out to be exactly what my ex wife
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: told what his ex wife told me he'd be, and
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: we can't stand him. I'm not going to leave him
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: because he got some mind of health issues and I'm
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: not heartless. Okay, So he's sick, so you're gonna stay
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: with him for us. See see, And you just threw
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: this in the letter to try to give yourself some
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: type of brownie points with the people that's listening like,
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: you ain't that bad. You're trifling. You're trifling. She trifling.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: He might be trifling too, but I think this is
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: a letter about a bunch of trifling people. But I
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: have made it clear that he is not a priority anymore.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: You're gonna take care of a man that's sick, but
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: he in a priority. Y'all don't go on dates no
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: more because he in a priority and you all have
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: chosen each other over him, so he in a priority. Lady,
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: where is going? Lady? Where is this relationship going with
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: you and this woman? What are you really trying to
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: tell us in this letter? Because I think it's more
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: to than this letter that if you and the woman
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: got a thing going on, why don't you put that
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: in the letter? Because that sound like what's happening here.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: But she said they didn't. That's a lie. Well, okay, okay,
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: so let me ask you something. If you and your
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: girlfriend and both of y'all was married to the same man,
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: decide to choose each other over him, what is your choosing?
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: She said, friendship? Okay, they bonded over their dislike slash
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: hatred for this. It happened like that in jail all
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: the time, this guy inmate romance float all over you? Yeah,
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: I said, I am sure you're wondering why I dislike
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: him so much? And it all started with me mostly
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: abusing me and being a dictator instead of a partner.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: And now you found someone in this woman who's not
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: a dictator, who's not abusive in the relationship. Y'all talk,
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: y'all sitting around, y'all drink, y'all, eat the same food,
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: y'all shopping or ain't nothing else left to do? Because
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: guess what is it wrong for me to be friends
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: with his ex wife? Why is it such a problem
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: for him? First of all, let me ask you something.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: Suppose he was friends with your inks. Suppose him and
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: your ex got together, play ball, gall watch the super
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: Bowl together, didn't invite you. Suppose to me and said
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: they're choosing each other over y'all, Well you do you
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: know how that sound. Suppose up to me and said
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: that suppose day was your girl? Stop oho you thank
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: you fool, uncle Steve. See through this. They're taking guy
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: trips together. How would you be with it? And I'm
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: gonna tell you something else. I bet you she's single.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: The X is single. Ain't mentioning the man because you
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: know who y'all hang out with, the son and the
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: son in law and the steps on. That's who y'all
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: hang with. He gonna have an announcement to make in
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: a minute too. She accomplished just what she set out
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: to do. She was mad at the X for doing
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: the same thing to her. Now he didn't get back
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: out her by ruining his life, but she ruining yours too.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: Congratulations all y'all dysfunctional people hanging out. I'm gonna tell
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: you right now here, what's gonna happen. You're dating a woman,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: y'all really seeing each other? The boy. The boy gonna
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: come out and make an announcement because all he hang
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: out with us y'all, and not a man right here
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: he tried. Yeah, that's gonna happened in this ladder right here.

- 1:09:40Speaker 1: A racist video of a white teenager in blackface while
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: other teens shout racial slurs has gone viral. It happened
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: in Philly and caused a lot of out rage. We'll
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: talk about it right after this. You're listening to show.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: A video of white female teenagers and Philly has gone
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: viral as one girl in the video is having her
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: face painted black while her friends are filming her. One
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: other girl in the video said, quote, you're a black girl.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: It's February. No your roots, You're nothing but a slave.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: Then at the end of the video, the girl whose
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: face has been painted black yells, I'm black and I'm proud.
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: Take a listen, you're a black girl. Your mom's never
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: letting all right, all right, that's what we're doing. And hunt. Well,
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: you know, here's the deal. When something like that surfaces
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: because of social media and the technology, and it lives
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: on for a long time. The price that they fit
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: to pay for this, they're not even gonna understand it.
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: I mean this, this type of stuff costs you college admissions.
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: This type of stuff costs your jobs. You know, this
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: type of stuff calls you ridicule when you try to
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: ride the bush you at the mall that they go,
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: because you know, a lot of people see this, because
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: white people go, hey, hey, there's the girls that made
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: the video. You know that it's gonna be a lot
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: to come with this. I'm not surprised by this. I'm
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: not appalled by it. A matter of fact, this is
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: almost minor the stuff I've seen in my life, you know,
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: because you know, you know, you're not appalled by this
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: from Texas. I'm not even surprised, No appalled. Stay drugs
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: bird behind that truck in Texas. Yeah, they murdered Imma Teal. Yes, yes,
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: they shot my nephew. Dog. I've seen dog. They'd have
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: busted all the windows out my car, split all my
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: ties in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Role kkk on side of my cough.
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: I'd have seen it all. Yeah. It just this ain't
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: no new movie. So I'm not really a Paul. I'm
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: really grateful that it's out because now these girls and
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: these girls family, they're gonna have to pay for that, Yeah, Steve.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: Philadelphia residents protested outside of the school following the racist
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: video with signs that read condemn and confront white supremacy.
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: Where is your humanity? And prejudice creates pain? Now, according
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: to the PHILI, these are white people outside this school.
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: Philadelphia officials say they are investigating the incident and all
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: the teams involved will be disciplined for sharing the video
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: on social media. Social media. Uh you know, so, I mean,
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: what can the punishment be for these teenagers in cases
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: like this, like you say, denied college admissions perhaps? Oh no, no,
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: they can get in trouble in school to take current
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: behavior in school as a student. If you do things
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: like that, you will have consequences as well at school,
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: so hopefully. But it's a private school, so you know,
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: you don't know what the rules are. But they Yeah,

- 1:20:07Speaker 1: looking good, Cheryl. Yeah. And of course earlier this week yesterday,
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: the VP Vice President Kamala Harris was our special guest,
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: so much, thank her as well. Yeah, that was huge,
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: that was great interview. Interview. Yes, Steve, you did yours always.
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: I'm not excited. I didn't get to say nothing to
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: us so that Monica, I didn't want to tell you this,
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: but you know, Nate, they asked it quick, quick, we
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: keep you out. They did not, and Steve. We got
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: to say thank you to our executive producer Monica Barnes
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: because she put this all together. She did all this stuff,
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: made it happen all of that. Yes, she did her thing,
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: you know, through behind the scenes, but she was working
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: really hard to make sure that happened. And thank you, Monica.
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: She did do a lot to make it happen. And
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: you know, hard worker. She's a hard worker. It's just
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: you know, you gotta your credit. What credit, dude? You
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: know you that's right. It'll probably show up somewhere on
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: her Instagram page. She had the same pole she had
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: when she looks at the cabin, the same selfie every
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: damn time. She can't believe she taking her own damn picture.
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: That's the look she had. Like, But thanks because that
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: was a lot. Yeah, that was a lot to get done.
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: And all right, Tommy, tonight it's all on you with
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: Ready to love on own Oh you know it, yes,
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: ma'am tonight ready to love on the own network. You
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: know how it works as a process of elimination. We
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: got ten men, ten women. Women eliminate men, men, eliminate women,
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: until we dwindled down to six people. That would be
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: three couples who have hopefully found love. All right, ain't
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: no million dollars prize, ain't no trip around the world
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: to get it. The prize is you found love, and
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: I got a few of them that have found it.
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: I got a few engagements. I'm gonna be hitting a
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: few weddings, so I'm excited. That's what it's all about. Okay,
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: But we love this season. Let's see what Tony talking
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: about tonight. Let me know, right, Tony something else, man, Hony,
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: something else? But do y'all like Dre Now y'all like
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: Andrea now with the girl? Stand By, stand By? We're good? Okay,
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: all right, Steve, So I wanted to share something with
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: you all, um. I want you all, as you go
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: through life and go through your this year twenty twenty three,
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: I want you all to make sure that you don't
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: forget to feel your accomplishments, feel them, take it in
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: at show, feel what you've accomplished. I mean, look, I know,
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: I know you want more, and there's nothing wrong with that.
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: A man without a dream or vision shall perish. So
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: you gotta always be aiming and shooting for something. But
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: stop and feel your accomplishments. You know what I'm saying. Look,
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: I want you to keep up the chase. I want
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: you to keep up the hunt for your goals and aspirations.
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: But as you keep up the chase, don't forget and
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: lose sight of all you've accomplished. It will make the
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: journey a little bit more enjoyable for you. I find
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: myself being guilty of that at times myself. You know
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: that I'm so working on the next deal, the next goal,
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: the next set up, the next dream, the next vision,
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: that sometimes I don't stop and feel the accomplishments that
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: I have and what you've accomplished, as many, You've accomplished
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: a lot of things. Man, You graduated, you moved out,
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: you got your own place, you got a car, you
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: got a place to live. You know you you're employed. Look,
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: you start at your company. Look, all of this stuff
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: may not be the end off for you, but do
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: you realize that that's something major to accomplish? Man, To
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: graduate high school, graduate college, to land a good position,
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: to get a benefit package, to be able to provide
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: for your family. Man, that's an accomplishment. And really, man,
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: I need to talk to men for just a second. Brothers. Look, man,
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: I know how hard it is to be a man. Now, Ladies,
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: as you listen to this, please this is I'm not
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: talking about it's harder or I'm not not making any comparisons.
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: I'm just talking to men for a moment, because men
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: need to know some time that you're doing well. Man.
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: Being a man is hard. It's a thankless position at
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: all times. And if you're a good man, I got
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: news for you, you're never going to get it one hundred.
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: If you are a good man, you are never going
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: to get it one hundred. And that kind of negates
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: you having the feeling of being a good man because
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: if you, if you, if you're out chasing your dreams
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: and trying to make it happen for your family, then
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: you're not always there for all the moments and events
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: of the family. So now that kind of how come
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: Daddy ain't always here? But then if Daddy is always
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: there and make it all the events, Daddy might get
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: hampered Daddy from getting out there, from hustling and grinding
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: and making it happen. So now you ain't being You
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: ain't being able to give them everything they won't and
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: everything they're crying for and everything they're pointing at. So
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: when you're a good man, it's hard to get it
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: one hundred. But fellas, that's our job. That's how Albertross
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: around our neck it's just what it is. Man, we
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: just don't get it as good men to have it
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: one hundred. If you're there, you can't provide. If you provide,
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: you ain't there. It's it's it's, it's it's it's a
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: rough one. But notice you're doing good. That is what
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: it is. And you ain't the only one out there
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: with this, uh things that we all face. Again. I'm
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: gonna speak more about this when I got another time.
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: Y'all have a great thing. Talk to God, he loved me.
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: But keep you here up, brothers. For all Steve Harvey contests,
