- 1:49Speaker 5: Look me.
- 1:55Speaker 4: Come come out.
- 1:59Speaker 6: You think that, Uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 6: You'll listen to the voice. Come on, dig me now.
- 2:09Speaker 6: One and only. Steve Harvey got a radio self. Steve
- 2:16Speaker 6: Harvey got a radio show. Sometimes when a chuckle like
- 2:19Speaker 6: that reminds me and my oldest brother that passed away.
- 2:21Speaker 6: He used to laugh like that. It's kind of funny
- 2:23Speaker 6: how jeans get passed down through the line. I don't
- 2:26Speaker 6: know why I told you all that. Just want to
- 2:28Speaker 6: share with you, that's all. As always, always kind of
- 2:32Speaker 6: asked God to help me, you know, And and and
- 2:35Speaker 6: I had I had gotten off track a little bit
- 2:39Speaker 6: because one of the principles of success I want to
- 2:43Speaker 6: share with you all today is the law of attraction.
- 2:47Speaker 2: And that is a very very serious principle.
- 2:50Speaker 6: It cannot be ignored the law of attraction and I'm
- 2:55Speaker 6: not going to be able to explain it to you
- 2:58Speaker 6: as well as the book Secrets can, or as well
- 3:01Speaker 6: as some people. I can only articulate it to you
- 3:06Speaker 6: the way that I see it, And the law of
- 3:08Speaker 6: attraction is very, very real. The law of attraction is
- 3:13Speaker 6: a principle of success. It is something that everyone has
- 3:18Speaker 6: to adhere to. Now, whether you know the law of
- 3:21Speaker 6: attraction or not, it does not make it not exist
- 3:26Speaker 6: for you. This is the case where ignorance is not
- 3:31Speaker 6: the excuse. The fact that no one told it to you.
- 3:36Speaker 6: There is no pass for this one. The fact that
- 3:39Speaker 6: you never heard it before it does not allow you
- 3:44Speaker 6: to do it any other way. So let me see
- 3:47Speaker 6: if I can put it to you best I can.
- 3:50Speaker 6: The law of attraction, the law of attraction, to put
- 3:53Speaker 6: it real, simply, is the thing that you focus on,
- 3:58Speaker 6: the thing that you taught about, the thing that you
- 4:02Speaker 6: think of, is the thing that you.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Draw to you. It's what you attract to you. That's
- 4:08Speaker 2: basically the law of attraction. The thing that you talk.
- 4:12Speaker 6: About, the thing that you think about, the thing that
- 4:16Speaker 6: you focus on, whatever it is that is what you attract.
- 4:23Speaker 6: The law of attraction does not differentiate from positive and negative.
- 4:31Speaker 2: It only does what it does. What I am saying
- 4:36Speaker 2: is this in the law of attraction.
- 4:40Speaker 6: No matter what you think of, no matter what occupies
- 4:44Speaker 6: your time, no matter what you say, or no matter
- 4:48Speaker 6: what the focus is, positive or negative, the law.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Of attraction knows neither one. It just attracts it.
- 4:56Speaker 6: So let's use some examples here. I can just the
- 5:00Speaker 6: best example. Always uses me.
- 5:02Speaker 2: That way.
- 5:03Speaker 6: I ain't got to figure out nothing. I can just
- 5:05Speaker 6: tell you my side of it. I was in a
- 5:08Speaker 6: lot of debt one time in my life. This is
- 5:12Speaker 6: before any of you knew me, so you can understand.
- 5:16Speaker 2: In case you're not.
- 5:18Speaker 6: Thinking, I don't want you to think that this conversation
- 5:21Speaker 6: is about your income level, because it's not. It doesn't
- 5:25Speaker 6: matter what income level you are. The law of attraction
- 5:27Speaker 6: works in all aspects money, family, relationships, job, career, love.
- 5:34Speaker 1: It just works that way. Okay, here's the deal. I
- 5:37Speaker 1: kept saying, man.
- 5:39Speaker 2: This debt is killing me. I got to get out.
- 5:43Speaker 6: That's what I thought was a good goal, to get
- 5:46Speaker 6: out of debt. But what I kept saying was, you know,
- 5:50Speaker 6: I kept talking about debt, and you.
- 5:53Speaker 7: Know what it kept doing.
- 5:54Speaker 2: It kept attracting debt to me. So guess what I
- 6:00Speaker 2: could get out? That's all? Is that crazy?
- 6:05Speaker 6: That is an amazing law to understand. What turned it
- 6:09Speaker 6: around for me was I started claiming a life of abundance. God,
- 6:17Speaker 6: I am seeking a life of abundance. I want to
- 6:20Speaker 6: have more than enough. I want to be able to
- 6:24Speaker 6: help other people. I just want to have a law
- 6:28Speaker 6: of attraction so that I be able to provide my
- 6:30Speaker 6: family the lifestyle that I want to provide them. I
- 6:33Speaker 6: want Heavenly Father to be able to be an example
- 6:38Speaker 6: of your goodness and your grace in my life. That
- 6:42Speaker 6: is what I started saying. And guess what, that's what
- 6:45Speaker 6: I started attracting. I'm going to have a great relationship
- 6:50Speaker 6: with my children. I'm going to be the father that
- 6:53Speaker 6: I always wanted to be. I'm going to be a
- 6:56Speaker 6: good father. I'm going to be a good husband.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Now.
- 7:00Speaker 6: I am going to do the right things. I am
- 7:03Speaker 6: going to be the type of example that my sons
- 7:06Speaker 6: can look no further and go. I can be like
- 7:09Speaker 6: my dad. I want to be able to be a place,
- 7:12Speaker 6: a beacon of light and hope for my daughters to
- 7:14Speaker 6: come through. That's what I started saying. That's what I
- 7:18Speaker 6: started attracting to my life. The law of attraction does
- 7:24Speaker 6: not care if you want it to be positive or negative.
- 7:28Speaker 6: The law of attraction just attracts whatever it is. You
- 7:33Speaker 6: focus on, what you think about the words that come
- 7:37Speaker 6: out your mouth. You cannot overlook this principle of success
- 7:42Speaker 6: and expect to make it because of the fact that
- 7:44Speaker 6: you've never heard of the law of attraction, because of
- 7:47Speaker 6: the fact that you don't know how it really operates.
- 7:51Speaker 2: It does not make it not exist in your day.
- 7:55Speaker 6: You can start today attracting the right things to your
- 8:00Speaker 6: life by changing what you say, what you think, what
- 8:07Speaker 6: you focus on. Change the focus, change the thought, change
- 8:14Speaker 6: the words that come out your mouth, and guess what
- 8:18Speaker 6: you change what you attract to yourself. You have got
- 8:22Speaker 6: to ask yourself why is it?
- 8:25Speaker 2: Man?
- 8:25Speaker 6: Man, let me tell you something. Somebody said the Bishop
- 8:27Speaker 6: Jakes one time. They said, man, everything you touch turns
- 8:32Speaker 6: to gold. He said, no, I just don't touch everything. Man,
- 8:39Speaker 6: This is crazy.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Come on, man, he has a focus. He has a focus.
- 8:46Speaker 6: See, he ain't just everywhere. Bring me any idea, let
- 8:49Speaker 6: me try that. No, no, no, man, he has a focus.
- 8:53Speaker 6: He has a law of attraction that's working where he's
- 8:56Speaker 6: attracting things to his life.
- 8:58Speaker 2: That that's positive that he can.
- 9:01Speaker 6: That's not to say Bishop Jakes don't have problems, because
- 9:04Speaker 6: we talk often and man, he have them. Oh please understand.
- 9:08Speaker 6: And he not trying to attract the problems. But what
- 9:11Speaker 6: he will attract is the proper solution for the problem.
- 9:15Speaker 6: And ain't that all you need? Sometimes? God did not
- 9:19Speaker 6: say that it would be easy. He just said he
- 9:23Speaker 6: would be with you. And if God is with you,
- 9:26Speaker 6: who can be against you? God will make your enemies
- 9:29Speaker 6: your footstool. God is powerful man, His word is true.
- 9:32Speaker 6: He do what he say he gonna do. Now, all
- 9:35Speaker 6: we got to do is do some of what we say.
- 9:38Speaker 6: But we ain't gonna do everything. Just do some of
- 9:40Speaker 6: what we say. We Okay, here's the deal. God is
- 9:43Speaker 6: going to do everything he say he gonna do. You
- 9:46Speaker 6: and I just got to do some of the stuff
- 9:49Speaker 6: we say we're gonna do it because He already know
- 9:51Speaker 6: we ain't gonna do all of them.
- 9:52Speaker 2: He clear on that. He clear on that.
- 9:55Speaker 1: All right, thank you you're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 9:58Speaker 1: Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:05Speaker 6: The time has come to give thanks to Ardor for
- 10:08Speaker 6: a new day. Another opportunity, brand new chance to shot
- 10:11Speaker 6: at it. Huh, Steve Harvey Morning Show. See this is
- 10:16Speaker 6: the deal on this show. We start this show with
- 10:19Speaker 6: gratitude because we understand that it affects your attitude, which
- 10:24Speaker 6: is in direct correlation with your altitude. You gotta get
- 10:28Speaker 6: them through, You gotta get your tools right. Your gratitude,
- 10:31Speaker 6: your attitude, and your altitude is all tied together. But
- 10:35Speaker 6: it stems from gratitude. If you don't believe it, I
- 10:41Speaker 6: dare you to try it. This is not a theory
- 10:44Speaker 6: of mine. That's not what this is. It's not a theory. Okay,
- 10:50Speaker 6: it's a fact. You can ask the Lord about it.
- 10:53Speaker 6: Steve Harvey Morning Show Show, The Strawberry, Colin Farrell, Mississippi
- 10:56Speaker 6: Monica Junior, what's on your mind?
- 11:00Speaker 1: Hey, let's talk about this.
- 11:02Speaker 8: Uh.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Can you help people understand when makes you feel like
- 11:06Speaker 1: they're successful? Like, we don't know when we know?
- 11:08Speaker 9: How do we know we want to be successful? It
- 11:10Speaker 9: ain't the car of money. What do you determine the
- 11:14Speaker 9: success to be?
- 11:15Speaker 10: Well?
- 11:15Speaker 6: I mean, look at this, here's the simplest and most
- 11:19Speaker 6: gratifying way to judge your success. Forget where you at,
- 11:24Speaker 6: Forget the fact that you are not where you want
- 11:27Speaker 6: to be. Let's take those two off the table. Let's
- 11:31Speaker 6: look at where you were. Take a real good look
- 11:35Speaker 6: at where you were. That's how you measure measure success.
- 11:40Speaker 6: Not not how far you've come, but how far you've
- 11:45Speaker 6: come from. That's your measure of success. And that's what
- 11:49Speaker 6: a lot of people do. They overlook the how far
- 11:52Speaker 6: from Say you want to measure with how far I come?
- 11:56Speaker 6: And then you looking at the measuring stick, but then
- 11:58Speaker 6: you looking at somebody that's ahead and you and now
- 12:00Speaker 6: you in here feeling some kind of way. But no, no, no,
- 12:03Speaker 6: slow down, homie, back up just a little bit. How
- 12:07Speaker 6: about if you start looking at how far you've come
- 12:10Speaker 6: from where you from? That's how you measure success, and
- 12:15Speaker 6: that's how you become grateful. See, if you looking at
- 12:18Speaker 6: everybody else, man, you ain't gonna ever be grateful. Like
- 12:21Speaker 6: I was telling y'all before the show started this morning,
- 12:24Speaker 6: I was at a meeting last night and a man
- 12:25Speaker 6: said a number that was so astonishing to me. I
- 12:28Speaker 6: said to myself, why am I so poor? But then
- 12:35Speaker 6: I had to catch myself. Hold up, bro, bro, what
- 12:42Speaker 6: about from where you was from? What about when you
- 12:46Speaker 6: was living in that car. What about when your father
- 12:51Speaker 6: sent you five dollars in an envelope to college between
- 12:56Speaker 6: two index cards.
- 12:57Speaker 2: He mailed it between two cars. I opened up the
- 13:01Speaker 2: index car that had a.
- 13:02Speaker 6: Five dollar billing on the note on one of the
- 13:05Speaker 6: cards said this sugar honted ice tea, gonna have to stop.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Five hours.
- 13:13Speaker 7: Five dollars.
- 13:16Speaker 4: You stay in our pocket.
- 13:18Speaker 2: Boy.
- 13:19Speaker 6: You ain't send you down there. We sent you down
- 13:21Speaker 6: there to turn yourself into something. We didn't send you
- 13:24Speaker 6: to college that asked me for some more money. I
- 13:27Speaker 6: just bought some books last week.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Damn. So guess what that's how you measured success? Steve
- 13:34Speaker 2: Hawysmore Show.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, Steve, thank you, great question.
- 13:38Speaker 11: Junior coming up at thirty two minutes after speaking of Junior,
- 13:41Speaker 11: he'll be in for the nephew with a prank phone
- 13:43Speaker 11: call right after this. You're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 13:52Speaker 9: If you're a homeowner, you know it took years of saving,
- 13:55Speaker 9: planning and hard work to get in the doors.

- 14:24Speaker 11: Junior and for the nephew this morning.
- 14:27Speaker 9: You know, you know y'all have a look at babies,
- 14:29Speaker 9: and you know when you see babies, you're probably gonna
- 14:31Speaker 9: look at it and say.
- 14:33Speaker 1: That's not my brother's baby. That's the prank, that's not
- 14:37Speaker 1: my brother's baby. Run it, cat, I don't.
- 14:41Speaker 7: Worry about it.
- 14:41Speaker 12: Something I need to take care. I talked to man,
- 14:44Speaker 12: I speak to Terry. My name is darl dam When
- 14:47Speaker 12: is my brother. I don't live in Dallas where y'all
- 14:49Speaker 12: live at. I'm the one that live out of town.
- 14:51Speaker 12: But we didn't have a family meeting and talked about it.
- 14:54Speaker 12: And I know Travis is your son. He eight years old.
- 14:59Speaker 12: But the problem me is the reason why I'm calling you, uh, Tyry,
- 15:02Speaker 12: is cause we didn't find out that Travis ain't none
- 15:06Speaker 12: of damous child excuse me. Travis ain't none a damon child.
- 15:11Speaker 12: He been paying you child support here for the last eight.
- 15:14Speaker 13: Old on and you said your name was.
- 15:15Speaker 5: Who I'm there, I'm damon brother, and who gave you
- 15:19Speaker 5: this information?
- 15:20Speaker 7: We are to have found the information.
- 15:21Speaker 12: Now we actually gonna go down there to the courthouse
- 15:23Speaker 12: and get all this stuff rectified. But we didn't find
- 15:26Speaker 12: out that Travis ain't non ain't none a damon's child.
- 15:29Speaker 12: And you've been sitting up here sending you money seven
- 15:32Speaker 12: eight hundred dollars a month and this child ain't even here.
- 15:35Speaker 8: Now.
- 15:35Speaker 7: I hate for Travis to find.
- 15:36Speaker 8: This out, and he gonna have to find it out,
- 15:38Speaker 8: but he ain't for to find that.
- 15:41Speaker 5: Why you calling me?
- 15:42Speaker 12: Look, the family then had a meeting, and I'm the
- 15:45Speaker 12: one that they decided to make the phone call and
- 15:47Speaker 12: tell you what's going on.
- 15:48Speaker 14: Now.
- 15:49Speaker 13: You don't have a thing to do with this. You
- 15:51Speaker 13: You ain't nobody daddy over here. So I'm not sure
- 15:54Speaker 13: what you're calling for. Who God made you king or wanted.
- 15:57Speaker 15: You to be head in charge to call?
- 16:00Speaker 13: But that it's not gonna work out.
- 16:01Speaker 7: But let me, why are you doing this to my brother?
- 16:04Speaker 12: That's what I'm saying for eight years, the man been
- 16:06Speaker 12: sending you seven hundred and some dollars a month and
- 16:09Speaker 12: this ain't even his child.
- 16:11Speaker 5: You know.
- 16:13Speaker 13: Why am I even.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Talking to you?
- 16:14Speaker 13: I'm not really sure. Your brother need to call me
- 16:16Speaker 13: if he has any problems to questions. You have a
- 16:18Speaker 13: good day that.
- 16:21Speaker 12: You don't hang no phone up on me. Damon told
- 16:23Speaker 12: me a little was hard headed anyway.
- 16:25Speaker 13: Now look, you know what you got the wrong one baby,
- 16:29Speaker 13: Like I'm trying to not lose all my religion today,
- 16:31Speaker 13: but you about to make me lose it on your well.
- 16:34Speaker 13: You don't know who you over here. So like I
- 16:36Speaker 13: said before, my son, your nephew that you trying not
- 16:41Speaker 13: to claim over there. I don't know why you came
- 16:43Speaker 13: from wherever they are. You said you came from the
- 16:44Speaker 13: Dallads to try to came.
- 16:46Speaker 7: I came from California down here to Dallas, and I'm.
- 16:48Speaker 13: Telling you need to take your back come back to
- 16:50Speaker 13: California because down here you.
- 16:52Speaker 8: Don't know me like that.
- 16:53Speaker 12: No, I don't know you, but I'm finna know you,
- 16:55Speaker 12: and Travis find to know that my brother ain't his daddy.
- 16:59Speaker 13: I don't know you know what. You need to talk
- 17:01Speaker 13: to your brother again. That's what you need to do,
- 17:02Speaker 13: and you don't need to be talking to me.
- 17:04Speaker 7: You finish sent us all the money my brother done
- 17:06Speaker 7: sent y'all?
- 17:07Speaker 13: Uh, And when I do, look but I sent When
- 17:12Speaker 13: I send all that eight years worth of money back, you're.
- 17:15Speaker 7: Gonna send every dying back because it belonged to my brother.
- 17:18Speaker 7: That ain't my brother.
- 17:18Speaker 8: Child.
- 17:19Speaker 7: Now we ain't got time to be going on.
- 17:21Speaker 12: No Marve Polvish showing nothing to find out who you
- 17:24Speaker 12: know what?
- 17:24Speaker 13: Like I said, you kicked the wrong one. It be
- 17:27Speaker 13: your best bet not to coll me anymore. You actually
- 17:29Speaker 13: it is a good thing that you call because if
- 17:31Speaker 13: you can't knock it on my door, you got job
- 17:33Speaker 13: with today.
- 17:34Speaker 7: No you go, that's my second thing I'm finna do.
- 17:36Speaker 12: If we can't rectified over the file, I don't have
- 17:39Speaker 12: a problem coming over there, knocking down some dose and
- 17:41Speaker 12: getting some questions answered. Because this ain't Damon's baby.
- 17:45Speaker 13: Obviously you must wish it was yours, so you're taking
- 17:47Speaker 13: so much interest.
- 17:48Speaker 12: No, it ain't mine, but it ain't Damon's either, And
- 17:52Speaker 12: we got that money if I had any and looking
- 17:54Speaker 12: for song.
- 17:55Speaker 13: But I'm sorry this was taking over here and Damon
- 17:58Speaker 13: will we continue to play when he owes don't open.
- 18:01Speaker 13: That's what's all. What your brothers now you don't want
- 18:03Speaker 13: to pay. I'm sorry, he's gonna continue to fight, and
- 18:06Speaker 13: you can call whatever you wanna, come, do whatever you
- 18:07Speaker 13: wanna do. So go back and tell your mama and
- 18:09Speaker 13: everybody else who's waiting for this meeting to let them
- 18:12Speaker 13: know it ain't having me.
- 18:14Speaker 7: Look, my mama ain't got nothing.
- 18:16Speaker 5: To do with it. Mama business.
- 18:17Speaker 13: Your mama, you say to mama and y'all got together.
- 18:20Speaker 15: She the same life.
- 18:21Speaker 13: I'll see where you get it from. You're just like hers,
- 18:24Speaker 13: y'all from nosing people. Mam, y'all business.
- 18:27Speaker 5: That's a grown man.
- 18:28Speaker 4: That ain't.
- 18:28Speaker 7: My mama said it from the get go, that it
- 18:30Speaker 7: wasn't hunt, that it wasn't damon child.
- 18:32Speaker 13: Wow, I mean your mama. The two face lock because
- 18:34Speaker 13: you're ain't what your mama said.
- 18:35Speaker 7: You ain't finna sit here and bring my mama up.
- 18:38Speaker 5: In this well.
- 18:39Speaker 13: If you know so much, then you back. Come knock

- 36:23Speaker 11: Colorado thirty five to twenty one lost to TCU that
- 36:27Speaker 11: he thinks he has more blood clots in his legs
- 36:29Speaker 11: after already undergoing numerous surgeries because of blood circulation in
- 36:33Speaker 11: his lower body.
- 36:35Speaker 12: Now.
- 36:35Speaker 11: According to USA Today, Coach Prime admitted he was in
- 36:38Speaker 11: pain this week in addition to his recovery from bladder
- 36:41Speaker 11: cancer this year. He said, after the game, Cats out
- 36:44Speaker 11: of the bag, all right, I think I got more
- 36:46Speaker 11: blood clots. It don't make sense. I'm hurting like crazy.
- 36:50Speaker 11: So of course we're praying for Dion, for coach Sanders,
- 36:54Speaker 11: for Coach Prime. This is a lot, Yeah, a whole
- 36:58Speaker 11: lot this year. Yeah, he's been through a lot of them.
- 37:02Speaker 11: Yeah he really got this though.
- 37:05Speaker 1: God's got them.
- 37:06Speaker 4: Yep. All right.
- 37:08Speaker 11: Coming up at twenty minutes after the hour of the
- 37:10Speaker 11: State of Illinois and the City of Chicago are suing
- 37:13Speaker 11: President Trump over the National Guard deployment. We'll talk about
- 37:17Speaker 11: it right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 37:21Speaker 11: Morning Show. Hey, everyone, quick health question. Even though you're
- 37:29Speaker 11: still thriving, still loving, still connecting, did you know your
- 37:32Speaker 11: immune system weakens with age. That's where vaccines come in.
- 37:36Speaker 11: They help train and strengthen your immune response to fight
- 37:39Speaker 11: off certain respiratory illnesses like flu, new Macaco, pneumonia, RSV,
- 37:43Speaker 11: and COVID nineteen this fall, ask your doctor which vaccines
- 37:47Speaker 11: you need and visit vaxisist dot com. That's vaexsist dot
- 37:51Speaker 11: com to schedule one or more of vaccines sponsored by
- 37:55Speaker 11: Pfizer well.
- 37:56Speaker 1: According to NPR, the.
- 37:58Speaker 11: State of Illinois and the city of Chico, Icago have
- 38:00Speaker 11: filed a federal lawsuit against the Trump administration over its
- 38:05Speaker 11: effort to deploy National Guard troops to the state. The
- 38:08Speaker 11: American people, regardless of where they reside, should not live
- 38:12Speaker 11: under the threat of occupation by the United States military,
- 38:17Speaker 11: particularly not simply because their city or state leadership has
- 38:21Speaker 11: fallen out of a president's favor. That's what Illinois Attorney
- 38:25Speaker 11: General Kwame Ryul wrote in a complaint. In addition, the
- 38:31Speaker 11: citizens of Illinois and Chicago protesters and political leaders believe
- 38:36Speaker 11: the presence of National Guard could cause more community unrest
- 38:40Speaker 11: and business economic harm and slow down tourism. So see
- 38:44Speaker 11: what are your thoughts about the National Guard deployment? And
- 38:47Speaker 11: part two? Did you guys hear that ICE is detaining
- 38:50Speaker 11: black people now in Chicago? This is getting crazier by
- 38:54Speaker 11: the minute.
- 38:54Speaker 2: For real.
- 38:56Speaker 6: This is all It reeks of white supremacy to me,
- 39:03Speaker 6: because that's all they're going after. They're they're going after
- 39:09Speaker 6: people that don't look like them. They're not in none
- 39:13Speaker 6: of the Irish neighborhoods, trying to find out who legal,
- 39:17Speaker 6: who's not.
- 39:18Speaker 2: They're not in any Italian neighborhoods.
- 39:20Speaker 6: They're not in the Ukraine neighborhoods, they're not in the
- 39:24Speaker 6: Polish neighborhoods.
- 39:25Speaker 2: Trying to find out who don't belong here, people who
- 39:29Speaker 2: don't look like them.
- 39:32Speaker 6: That's the easiest target, and it's okayed by our leadership.
- 39:38Speaker 6: And that's the crazy part now. And they're coming to Chicago. Listen,
- 39:44Speaker 6: this guy, this president does what he wants to do,
- 39:49Speaker 6: and of the House in the Senate, and you know,
- 39:56Speaker 6: and they just do what they want to do.
- 39:57Speaker 2: So here they come.
- 40:01Speaker 6: Uh, we've always had to make adjustments, So let's just
- 40:03Speaker 6: make the necessary adjustments.
- 40:05Speaker 2: Y'all.
- 40:05Speaker 6: Be careful out there, Be watchful, keep your head on
- 40:08Speaker 6: the swivel when you see him go the other way,
- 40:12Speaker 6: you know, because you know that's them.
- 40:14Speaker 2: They ain't been over here.
- 40:16Speaker 16: But you're in your apartment building in Chicago and they're rating, yeah,
- 40:23Speaker 16: helicopters and they're raiding your apartment building and you you
- 40:27Speaker 16: are an American citizen.
- 40:29Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, this is crazy.
- 40:32Speaker 4: What is going on?
- 40:34Speaker 1: Military on American citizens on Chicago.
- 40:37Speaker 4: So you just what what?
- 40:40Speaker 2: Yeah, and in a different time, in a different place,
- 40:43Speaker 2: we're living on a different regime.
- 40:45Speaker 3: Uh.
- 40:46Speaker 17: He did.
- 40:46Speaker 6: He did everything was that he was gonna do, except
- 40:49Speaker 6: he said for the first month, I'm gonna seek vengeance.
- 40:52Speaker 6: But he's gonna do that his entire turn. And yeah,
- 40:54Speaker 6: that's that's what it is.
- 40:56Speaker 11: Three more years of this madness. All right, switching gears
- 41:01Speaker 11: coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour.

- 42:50Speaker 11: A lot of people are posting on social media that
- 42:52Speaker 11: they are skipping trick or treating altogether this year because

- 56:43Speaker 9: All right, ladies and gentlemen, it's time for the strawberry litter.
- 56:45Speaker 9: My good friend, Shirley Strawberry.
- 56:47Speaker 1: Thank you, my good friend.
- 56:49Speaker 11: Junior subject, How did I miss this over the years?
- 56:53Speaker 11: How did I miss this over the years? Here's Stephen Shirley.
- 56:57Speaker 11: I am forty nine years old. I'm a married and
- 57:00Speaker 11: I've known my husband for many years. He's sixty two,
- 57:04Speaker 11: and we met through a mutual friend who was a
- 57:07Speaker 11: big recreational drug user.
- 57:09Speaker 1: Back in the day.
- 57:10Speaker 11: That friend was always the life of the party because
- 57:14Speaker 11: he had his pills to keep him happy. My husband
- 57:17Speaker 11: and I laughed about the friend back then because all
- 57:20Speaker 11: we did was smoke marijuana. Now I think that my
- 57:23Speaker 11: husband is doing a little more than that. Some days
- 57:26Speaker 11: his eyes are red and some days his eyes are
- 57:29Speaker 11: swollen looking. He said it's allergies, but he's never had allergies.
- 57:33Speaker 11: Then I noticed that my cash would be short in
- 57:36Speaker 11: my purse. I still prefer to use cash over my
- 57:39Speaker 11: debit card, so I keep at least one hundred dollars
- 57:42Speaker 11: in cash.
- 57:43Speaker 1: I could not accuse my.
- 57:44Speaker 11: Husband of stealing from me because I leave my perse
- 57:46Speaker 11: in my cubicle at work unattended a lot. Anyone in
- 57:50Speaker 11: my office could have taken my money. My sister in
- 57:53Speaker 11: law said that my coworkers didn't steal my money. It
- 57:57Speaker 11: was my husband, who is her brother. She said he
- 58:00Speaker 11: used to borrow money from her, but he ruined that
- 58:02Speaker 11: privilege by not paying her back a few times. She
- 58:05Speaker 11: said that he's always been on some kind of pills,
- 58:08Speaker 11: but he was able to keep it under control, but
- 58:11Speaker 11: now it's getting bad because he has too much free
- 58:13Speaker 11: time on his hands. He does sleep a lot during
- 58:17Speaker 11: the day, and he's wired at night, and he likes
- 58:20Speaker 11: to cook big meals at night. I wanted to see
- 58:23Speaker 11: for myself if he'd steal from me, so I left
- 58:26Speaker 11: some cash in the top of my purse. He took
- 58:29Speaker 11: that money within two hours. When I asked him about it,
- 58:32Speaker 11: he said he was going to use it for groceries.
- 58:34Speaker 11: How could I be living with him and not know
- 58:37Speaker 11: about the drugs. Should I confront him or leave? Well, honestly,
- 58:42Speaker 11: it's not hard to miss what your husband has been
- 58:45Speaker 11: doing because guess what I mean, you're not really looking
- 58:48Speaker 11: for that. To you, it's simply inconceivable to think that
- 58:52Speaker 11: your own husband would do such a thing. But it's
- 58:54Speaker 11: staring right at you, and you didn't want to believe
- 58:57Speaker 11: the truth. You want to think it's everyone else but him,
- 59:00Speaker 11: your coworkers, the kids, friends, whoever, Just not this man
- 59:04Speaker 11: that you sleep with every night and you trust with
- 59:07Speaker 11: your life. But your sister in law told you it
- 59:10Speaker 11: was him, and he's doing this right under your nose
- 59:13Speaker 11: because he knows you trust him like that. But then
- 59:16Speaker 11: it starts happening so much it becomes obvious that it
- 59:20Speaker 11: can't be anyone else but him. Then reality sets in, Yes,
- 59:25Speaker 11: it's him, it's my husband. He already did it to
- 59:28Speaker 11: his sister. Then you set a trap in your purse
- 59:31Speaker 11: for him, and that money was gone in two hours flat.
- 59:34Speaker 11: So you see, that's how things can happen when you're
- 59:38Speaker 11: living with the man and not know your husband needs
- 59:41Speaker 11: some serious help. Should you confront him? You ask, Yes,
- 59:45Speaker 11: of course you should confront him and ask him what's
- 59:48Speaker 11: going on. He's your husband.
- 59:49Speaker 1: You have a right to do that.
- 59:51Speaker 11: But just keep in mind he's going to lie to
- 59:53Speaker 11: you about everything. You'll never get the truth.
- 59:56Speaker 6: Steve Well, I appreciate you you're writing a letter in
- 1:00:02Speaker 6: but at the end of all of what Shirley read,
- 1:00:04Speaker 6: your question is should I confront him or leave? I
- 1:00:08Speaker 6: don't see how you don't breach the subject. I don't
- 1:00:14Speaker 6: see how you how you haven't bought it up yet.
- 1:00:18Speaker 6: You either love your husband, you want to help him,
- 1:00:20Speaker 6: or you want to leave him. That's really up to you.
- 1:00:23Speaker 6: You know, I didn't hear nothing about you all having
- 1:00:25Speaker 6: a great relationship. He's a loving husband, he's a wonderful father,
- 1:00:30Speaker 6: he takes care of you. All that said, all of them,
- 1:00:32Speaker 6: and know is he still? That's all I know? And
- 1:00:36Speaker 6: he's sixty two and you're living with a sixty two
- 1:00:40Speaker 6: year old thief. You said you like to keep cash
- 1:00:43Speaker 6: in your pocket, so you always got a hundred, Well
- 1:00:46Speaker 6: that's gone too. You say you leave your person alone
- 1:00:51Speaker 6: and your cubicle, let work, so it could be one
- 1:00:53Speaker 6: of your.
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: Coworkers where you live?
- 1:00:55Speaker 10: Why you work?
- 1:00:56Speaker 7: Who do that? Put your person?
- 1:00:59Speaker 10: Your joy?
- 1:01:00Speaker 5: Oh?
- 1:01:00Speaker 10: What you doing?
- 1:01:02Speaker 6: This is the United States of America. You don't live
- 1:01:05Speaker 6: on fantasy island over in Fiji. Nowhere, ain't nobody stealing nothing.
- 1:01:10Speaker 6: You live in a city where people can steal and
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: drive off. See, if you live on an island. It's
- 1:01:15Speaker 6: less theft on an island because you can't go nowhere.
- 1:01:19Speaker 6: We can come over your house, or we can run
- 1:01:21Speaker 6: around in a circle, but we gonna see you. You lady,
- 1:01:27Speaker 6: and you're his best friend. Was the life of the party,
- 1:01:31Speaker 6: a huge recreational drug user. Birds of a feather flock together.
- 1:01:36Speaker 6: If you keep associating with bad people, you gonna become
- 1:01:39Speaker 6: one of them. All you have to do is somebody
- 1:01:42Speaker 6: describes this to me. One time, somebody said, Steve, right,
- 1:01:46Speaker 6: your closest, five closest friends named on a piece of paper.
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: I did it.
- 1:01:53Speaker 6: He said, Now describe who they are, what type of
- 1:01:56Speaker 6: person they are, and what they do.
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: I did it.
- 1:02:00Speaker 6: He said, cool. Now that's you right there. He said,
- 1:02:06Speaker 6: that's who you are because see, your friends, you get
- 1:02:09Speaker 6: to pick them. He didn't ask me who was my
- 1:02:12Speaker 6: five closest family members. He said friends, because you picked them.
- 1:02:17Speaker 6: Your husband picked the extreme recreational drug user. And y'all
- 1:02:26Speaker 6: laughed at him because all y'all did was smoke weed. Well,
- 1:02:30Speaker 6: they're doing more than that. Now his eyes are swollen.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: He's fitty at allergy.
- 1:02:40Speaker 10: She said, he.
- 1:02:41Speaker 6: Ain't never had no allergy. He fiending you need to
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: find out what he's taking, because that ain't weed. People
- 1:02:52Speaker 6: don't steal for weed. That's most weed smokers. Now, I
- 1:02:57Speaker 6: ain't never seen nobody steal for weed.
- 1:03:00Speaker 11: All right, we'll have part two of Steve's response coming
- 1:03:03Speaker 11: up at twenty three minutes to after the hour. Today's
- 1:03:06Speaker 11: strawberry letter subject how did I miss.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: This over the years. We'll get back on to it Stowe.

- 1:03:49Speaker 11: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:52Speaker 11: The subject is how did I miss this over the years.
- 1:03:56Speaker 6: Well, I don't know that you missed it, ma'am, but
- 1:04:01Speaker 6: I don't. I have a couple of questions about this.
- 1:04:03Speaker 6: First of all, she says, should I confront him or
- 1:04:06Speaker 6: leave him? You have a husband who is obviously a
- 1:04:08Speaker 6: drug user. You can't lay no money around. It's always missing.
- 1:04:13Speaker 6: You even did a test. You put some money out
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: somewhere and within two hours it was gone. When you
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: confronted your husband, he said he was going to buy
- 1:04:23Speaker 6: some groceries.
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: Now let me.
- 1:04:27Speaker 6: Let me give you an example of what's wrong, hire,
- 1:04:30Speaker 6: because I think you needed listen to. His sister told
- 1:04:35Speaker 6: you that the money that's missing from your purse is
- 1:04:38Speaker 6: not from coworkers, it's from him. And this is her
- 1:04:41Speaker 6: brother who can no longer borrow money from her because
- 1:04:45Speaker 6: he didn't pay it back. Now that's your sister in
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: law who said that, and he don't pay it back.
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: She said that he's.
- 1:04:57Speaker 6: Always been on some kind of pills, but he was
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: able to keep it under control, and now he's getting
- 1:05:03Speaker 6: bad because he got too much free time on his hands.
- 1:05:06Speaker 6: So now let's start getting into this letter rack. She
- 1:05:10Speaker 6: told you because your husband got too much free time
- 1:05:13Speaker 6: on his hand. He does sleep a lot doing the day,
- 1:05:17Speaker 6: and he's wide at night, and he likes to cook
- 1:05:20Speaker 6: big meals at night.
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: Where your way he worked.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: There's no mention of that.
- 1:05:27Speaker 7: He sleeps a.
- 1:05:29Speaker 6: Lot doing the day, and he cooked big meals at night.
- 1:05:33Speaker 6: Where do he work? We got a bigger problem than
- 1:05:39Speaker 6: this money missing from your purse because he ain't got
- 1:05:44Speaker 6: no money. Then you said you wanted to see if
- 1:05:48Speaker 6: he's still for yourself. I left some cash in the
- 1:05:52Speaker 6: top of my purse. He took the money within two hours.
- 1:05:55Speaker 6: When I asked him about it, he said he was
- 1:05:56Speaker 6: going to use it for groceries. How could I be
- 1:05:59Speaker 6: living with him and not know about the drugs? Should
- 1:06:02Speaker 6: I confront him or leaves? I don't see how you
- 1:06:09Speaker 6: have stayed. He sleep all day and he cooked big
- 1:06:13Speaker 6: meals at night.
- 1:06:16Speaker 10: Where do he work?
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: And who's he cooking for? Putting on the food?
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: Where is my money?
- 1:06:29Speaker 10: He saw it?
- 1:06:32Speaker 7: What is you buying?
- 1:06:33Speaker 6: Why I ain't seen You ain't came in here with
- 1:06:37Speaker 6: no dish washing liquid. You ain't came in here with
- 1:06:39Speaker 6: no toilet tissue. You ain't brought no milk in here?
- 1:06:44Speaker 6: Where are you taking this money? And what are you buying?
- 1:06:49Speaker 10: And why don't you work? What is all this food
- 1:06:57Speaker 10: you keep cooking and you ain't.
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: Grocery shopping money from her to Where are you.
- 1:07:03Speaker 10: Taking all this food too?
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: What's cooking for?
- 1:07:08Speaker 6: You cooked a pot of black eyed peas last night?
- 1:07:11Speaker 6: You made a pot of pinto beans tonight?
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: What what was your feet rice?
- 1:07:18Speaker 6: You're taking this down to the trap house and all
- 1:07:20Speaker 6: y'all sitting around getting high. You don't have a catering business.
- 1:07:27Speaker 6: Why why aren't you working?
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: But who cooks like that at night?
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: He been he burned his energy? Shure?
- 1:07:37Speaker 6: Yeah, he meal prepping. Lady, should you confront him a lead?
- 1:07:45Speaker 6: I don't know how you stayed. I don't know how
- 1:07:47Speaker 6: you missed it, But now you know there is a problem.
- 1:07:51Speaker 6: You haven't mentioned one redeeming quality that this man has.
- 1:07:54Speaker 6: He's a great husband, a great provider, great father. You
- 1:07:57Speaker 6: never mentioned money of that. He just sleep all day,
- 1:08:00Speaker 6: cook all night and steal your money. You can't keep
- 1:08:04Speaker 6: a hunt. Now, let me take a shot at what
- 1:08:09Speaker 6: peel is he?
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: Okay?
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: I think you living with a sixty two year old crackhead.
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: What I I'll go with that.
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: Yeah, wow, that's extreme.
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: Crack ain't really when been up, lady, they really it's
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: not a pill. It looked like it. If you mixed
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: him to yo. You sixty two, you can't see like
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: you see no how it looked like.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: But he went from smoking weed all the way to that.
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:08:44Speaker 6: Most people that's junkie started with weed junkie because he's
- 1:08:50Speaker 6: sixty two here a junkie?
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: Are we in the seventies?
- 1:08:56Speaker 6: That's what he started. He's sixty two here junk Yeah. Now,

- 1:11:24Speaker 9: You know you had your game of the week on
- 1:11:25Speaker 9: Monday night football. You had the Chiefs and the Jaguars,
- 1:11:28Speaker 9: and you said, and I quote, upset of the week

- 1:12:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:12:03Speaker 7: And it's a little weird, man, man, because you gotta.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: Think about the Jacks four and one and the Chiefs

- 1:12:27Speaker 2: What's the Texans record? Junior two and three? What's the
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: Browns record? One in four?
- 1:12:33Speaker 5: Oh?
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: Is that an improvement?
- 1:12:36Speaker 6: That's no, that ain't far off though, one in four,
- 1:12:39Speaker 6: two and three, you ain't in one game away. It's
- 1:12:42Speaker 6: still disappointing.
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: Let's talk about this. Your boy, Lebron James has a decision.
- 1:12:48Speaker 9: The big decision will be announced today at twelve o'clock Eastern.
- 1:12:52Speaker 9: You remember he had the decision the first time, said

- 1:13:28Speaker 4: I got it.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: I'm not gonna trip by the time.
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: I promise you. Whatever he do, I'm gonna be fine
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: with it.
- 1:13:36Speaker 4: That part.

- 1:13:40Speaker 6: Yeah, I's still gonna love him for finally bringing the
- 1:13:42Speaker 6: title to Cleveland. He got my utmost highest respect. He's

- 1:14:12Speaker 1: is Victoria on Steve Harvey FM.
- 1:14:15Speaker 11: She says, I'm in a relationship that feels like it's
- 1:14:17Speaker 11: already run its course. I care about my boyfriend, and
- 1:14:21Speaker 11: I think he knows deep down that this isn't forever.
- 1:14:25Speaker 11: But every time I think about ending it, something happens.
- 1:14:28Speaker 11: Family drama, work, stress, health scares, and I don't want
- 1:14:31Speaker 11: to pile heartbreak on top of everything else. At this point,
- 1:14:35Speaker 11: it feels like we're only together because breaking up hasn't
- 1:14:39Speaker 11: been quote convenient. Do I rip off the bandage bandage now,
- 1:14:45Speaker 11: bandage now, or wait for some mythical quote better time
- 1:14:48Speaker 11: that may never come.
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: Well, so it.
- 1:14:51Speaker 6: Seems to me like there's a lot wrong with him.
- 1:14:53Speaker 6: Sometimes you just be with the wrong person. You know,
- 1:14:57Speaker 6: bad stuff happening to him all time.
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: He's sick, he's got.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: Layoff, family drama.
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: Mama and them got in the fight at the barbecue.
- 1:15:10Speaker 10: Security came.
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: He had to bail his daddy out.
- 1:15:13Speaker 6: You know, you sometimes you could just be in the
- 1:15:16Speaker 6: wrong family. And if you know that his run is
- 1:15:20Speaker 6: course and it ain't gonna get no better, get out now.
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: Yeah, women always stay longer than they should.
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: They stop worrying about breaking his heart. He can handle it.
- 1:15:32Speaker 15: He can.
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: He ain't working nowhere.
- 1:15:36Speaker 10: Mama and daddy got arrested.
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: He doesn't want to add to his stress though.
- 1:15:43Speaker 6: So what you can't go over his house? Then took
- 1:15:46Speaker 6: the house from him. There's nothing going right, So you say.
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: It out now yet now forget, forget anywhere.
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: It's some more bad news coming up follows him. It's
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: like a rain cloud on him. Listen to me.
- 1:16:04Speaker 6: Some people have things happening for them because it's payback
- 1:16:07Speaker 6: for a lot of stuff you ain't.
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: Got to sit through day pay back. Let him pay
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: his dues by hisself.
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: Yeah, he's one of those people where you say, what's wrong. Yeah,
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: my mom used to say what's wrong?
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: Now, that's right.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: I think y'all should be more sensitive to that man.
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: That man going through a lot. I've been there before,
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: really family drama, going through it by the hospital.
- 1:16:36Speaker 9: She just left my bed as soon as I went under,
- 1:16:40Speaker 9: like what as soon as my soon as my medication
- 1:16:43Speaker 9: kicked in in the crisis, she broke up with me
- 1:16:45Speaker 9: right then while I was up.
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: I wasn't even awake.
- 1:16:51Speaker 6: That way, you could go on and fully healed under
- 1:16:53Speaker 6: the right and then when you come out of your crisis,
- 1:16:58Speaker 6: then you deal with the other prices. What she didn't
- 1:17:01Speaker 6: want to do is have you handling two crisis.
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: Okay, I know you think you are, but you're not.
- 1:17:08Speaker 6: That that was a beautiful thing like that waited till
- 1:17:12Speaker 6: the medicine took you out, and she got up and left.
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: Why would she leave while you could see her leave?
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: You are not helping this man. Yeah, man, I thought
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: that was just.
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: She gotta face it.
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: There's never a good time. That that that's that's it's
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: just never a good time.
- 1:17:39Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: When I was young, man, I was taking this girl change.
- 1:17:44Speaker 7: I couldn't find the number.
- 1:17:46Speaker 4: Change.
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: She changed the number. She changed the number.
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: But the house was nasty. She had a baby and
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: a baby. The baby was dirty and.
- 1:17:59Speaker 7: Baby.

- 1:25:23Speaker 11: Thank you guys for listening. As always, we appreciate you. Steve,
- 1:25:28Speaker 11: if you want to take us out.
- 1:25:29Speaker 6: You know my closing remarks. It is kind of what
- 1:25:31Speaker 6: Junior and I had talked about in the opening. Junior's
- 1:25:36Speaker 6: question to me was unc how do you measure success?
- 1:25:41Speaker 6: And I thought that was a great question because what
- 1:25:44Speaker 6: a lot of people do is they make the mistake
- 1:25:46Speaker 6: of measuring their success up against others. There's a saying
- 1:25:51Speaker 6: that says comparison is the greatest thief of joy. If
- 1:25:56Speaker 6: you want to feel badly, just start comparing you. It's
- 1:26:01Speaker 6: somebody somewhere always doing better than you, or appearing to
- 1:26:07Speaker 6: do better than you, or claiming to do better than you,
- 1:26:14Speaker 6: or fronting to be doing better than you. You don't
- 1:26:20Speaker 6: really know what's going on in people's lives because they
- 1:26:23Speaker 6: don't let you see behind the curtain.
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: They got an Instagram account where they post.
- 1:26:27Speaker 6: The absolute best polls and they absolute best outfit, and
- 1:26:32Speaker 6: you sitting up here going every time I see them,
- 1:26:35Speaker 6: they this, and theate that. That's the part they want
- 1:26:38Speaker 6: you to see. Stop comparing yourself to other people. Comparison
- 1:26:42Speaker 6: is the greatest thief of joy. If you want to
- 1:26:45Speaker 6: truly measure your success, I'll tell you something else. Don't
- 1:26:51Speaker 6: look at your success and base it on how.
- 1:26:55Speaker 2: Close you are to your goals. Don't use that as
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: a measure of success.
- 1:27:00Speaker 6: Don't use as a measure of success to look at
- 1:27:05Speaker 6: all you've accomplished in hopes of accomplishing more. Here's the
- 1:27:11Speaker 6: way to really measure your success. Take a look at
- 1:27:15Speaker 6: where you are right now and compare it to where
- 1:27:19Speaker 6: you came from. There's your measurement for success. And if
- 1:27:24Speaker 6: that don't brighten up your date and make you feel better,
- 1:27:28Speaker 6: something's wrong. Because as far away as you may be
- 1:27:32Speaker 6: from your goal and your aspiration and your desired amount
- 1:27:36Speaker 6: or achievement as far away as you are, have you
- 1:27:41Speaker 6: ever really thought about how far you've come? Have you
- 1:27:45Speaker 6: ever sat down and just said, man, I remember when
- 1:27:50Speaker 6: I remember when I was complaining the other day and
- 1:27:54Speaker 6: I had to remind myself of a quote because I
- 1:27:59Speaker 6: was just I was just swamp. I was just I
- 1:28:04Speaker 6: just felt the weight of the world. I was just
- 1:28:08Speaker 6: felt like, man, it was really getting to be a lot.
- 1:28:12Speaker 6: And for a brief moment I registered a complaint. And
- 1:28:15Speaker 6: then I remember the quote that I've said a hundred times.
- 1:28:19Speaker 6: You can't complain about what all is on your plate
- 1:28:24Speaker 6: when your whole gold was to eat. Remember that, Steve,
- 1:28:29Speaker 6: Remember man, when you just wanted to be able to
- 1:28:31Speaker 6: pull your chair to the table with everybody else and
- 1:28:35Speaker 6: just get down, just be able to feast. Well, now
- 1:28:38Speaker 6: you at the table. You've earned your seat at the table,
- 1:28:42Speaker 6: and now you're looking at all this on your complaint,
- 1:28:45Speaker 6: on your table, and you complaining. Na, Man, you can't
- 1:28:49Speaker 6: complain about what all is on your plate when your
- 1:28:51Speaker 6: whole gold was to eat. You just wanted to eat.
- 1:28:54Speaker 6: Now you have an abundance to eat. Now you complaining? Man,
- 1:28:57Speaker 6: Stop Stop remember where you row, where you from. See
- 1:29:03Speaker 6: you know what really keeps me grounded. I constantly remind
- 1:29:06Speaker 6: myself that I was homeless. I constantly remind myself that
- 1:29:10Speaker 6: I wasn't the one getting picked. I remind myself of
- 1:29:14Speaker 6: all the people who wrote me off. I remind myself
- 1:29:18Speaker 6: of flunking out of college. I remind myself of the
- 1:29:21Speaker 6: lady telling me You'll never amount to anything. I remind
- 1:29:25Speaker 6: myself and not to be hateful to them, but to
- 1:29:29Speaker 6: remember how far I've come from. That's what it's for.
- 1:29:34Speaker 6: I've learned so many valuable lessons in life, and the
- 1:29:37Speaker 6: best one I learned recently. Here's the best thing I
- 1:29:41Speaker 6: learned recently. I don't walk away to teach nobody a lesson.
- 1:29:47Speaker 6: I walk away because I done learned mine. See that's
- 1:29:51Speaker 6: a whole nother world. I'm walking away because I done
- 1:29:56Speaker 6: learn my lesson. Man, I'm not I would rather adjust
- 1:30:00Speaker 6: my life to live without you than to adjust the
- 1:30:05Speaker 6: boundaries that you have set for me. That I confine
- 1:30:08Speaker 6: in those boundaries or disrespect you have for me, Man,
- 1:30:11Speaker 6: miss me, with all that I'm not fitting them, shrink
- 1:30:14Speaker 6: myself down no more for nobody to fit in your
- 1:30:19Speaker 6: he okay category or he a nice guy?
- 1:30:22Speaker 7: Yo.
- 1:30:23Speaker 6: Man, Hey look, I'm a good person. But because you're
- 1:30:31Speaker 6: a good person, don't mean you have to be a
- 1:30:33Speaker 6: nice guy all the time. That don't make no sense
- 1:30:37Speaker 6: because people gonna take advantage of that. Just be a
- 1:30:39Speaker 6: good person. But being a good person don't mean you
- 1:30:42Speaker 6: have to be a nice guy. Nice guys comply with
- 1:30:44Speaker 6: everything everybody want. That ain't how you live your life.
- 1:30:47Speaker 6: You gotta tell people no. You gotta protect your peace.
- 1:30:51Speaker 6: You gotta get yourself in a place and realize, hey man,
- 1:30:54Speaker 6: I'm peaceful over here. You're not coming here interrupting my peace.
- 1:30:58Speaker 6: I got a text from a guy to day, a
- 1:31:00Speaker 6: text asked me for fifty thousand dollars in a text,
- 1:31:06Speaker 6: just a text.
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: And just say, hey man, I'm in a tight the
- 1:31:12Speaker 2: other day, I'll tell you another one.
- 1:31:14Speaker 6: This is not bragging. A guy who we had pitched
- 1:31:17Speaker 6: this concept to and for him to join in for
- 1:31:22Speaker 6: this concept we had created it. It was a lot
- 1:31:26Speaker 6: of money to get in.
- 1:31:28Speaker 7: We go to dinner.
- 1:31:29Speaker 6: He's smoking a cigar. He blows cigar, smoking my face
- 1:31:32Speaker 6: and say, Steve Harvey, I know all you want is
- 1:31:35Speaker 6: my money, and I'm looking at him. I'm like, hold on, bro,
- 1:31:39Speaker 6: we put a business proposition in for you. You're not
- 1:31:42Speaker 6: handing this money to me. He's gonna blow some cigars
- 1:31:44Speaker 6: smoking my face and then come talking about I know
- 1:31:46Speaker 6: all you want is my money. You must think I'm crazy,
- 1:31:50Speaker 6: you must think I'm a new kind of stupid man. Please, hey, y'all,
- 1:31:54Speaker 6: have a great day today. Listen to me, talk to
- 1:31:57Speaker 6: God today. He would absolutely love to hear from your.
