Series Title: Advent Antiphons Series Summary: In this advent season, we look at a series of passages from the book of Isaiah that are grouped together using the name O Antiphons, a latin term used in the ancient church where small bits of music (or refrains) are sung in the seven days leading up to Christmas Day when we celebrate Jesus birth. Passages: Isaiah 11:1-11 In this message, we're reminded that Jesus is our King from the shoot of Jesse, from what appeared to be utter destruction - the origin of his rule, the order of his reign and finally the outcome of his reign.
