Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Is the UK's Assault on Free Speech Coming to America? plus Harris & Walz Run Away from their own Radical Records
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome. It is verdicuous.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Senator Ted Cruz Ben Ferguson with you, Senator, there is
- 0:06Speaker 2: a big war going on when it comes to free speech,
- 0:09Speaker 2: not just in this country but around the world, and
- 0:11Speaker 2: real concerns about what could happen with Harris in charge
- 0:15Speaker 2: in this country.
- 0:16Speaker 3: Free speech is under assault. In the United Kingdom, they
- 0:19Speaker 3: are going after they are sentencing people to jail for
- 0:22Speaker 3: their social media posts. They are threatening to take that
- 0:26Speaker 3: enforcement to America to go after Americans. And I'll tell
- 0:29Speaker 3: you what is really terrifying. As Kamala Harris and Tim
- 0:32Speaker 3: Waltz are radicals and zealots when it comes to free speech,
- 0:36Speaker 3: We're gonna break down just how extreme their record is.
- 0:40Speaker 3: This is the most anti free speech ticket that has
- 0:43Speaker 3: ever run. At the same time, Kamala Harris's campaign have
- 0:47Speaker 3: decided on a new strategy. She is gonna run as
- 0:51Speaker 3: Donald Trump. Suddenly Kamala Harris wants to secure the border.
- 0:55Speaker 3: Suddenly Kamala Harris loves her some fracking. And suddenly Kamala
- 1:01Speaker 3: Harris has a brand new idea she cooked up just
- 1:04Speaker 3: on her own, with no help from anybody else, no
- 1:07Speaker 3: taxes on tips. We're going to talk about how they're
- 1:10Speaker 3: trying to gaslight the American people, and we're going to
- 1:13Speaker 3: contrast it with Kamala Harris and Tim Waltz's radical, extreme record.
- 1:19Speaker 3: As I said, they are the most extreme ticket ever
- 1:22Speaker 3: nominated by a major party.
- 1:24Speaker 4: We're going to break that down right now.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Things I never thought i'd hear you say that Kamala
- 1:27Speaker 2: Harris is actually going to be Donald Trump.
- 1:29Speaker 1: But it is weird when you watch it.
- 1:31Speaker 2: I want to tell you real quick about our friends

- 2:56Speaker 2: slash vertict. Are nine to seven to two Patriot and
- 2:59Speaker 2: get a free month. We use the offer code verdict
- 3:02Speaker 2: today center. This is very interesting, I also think shocking
- 3:08Speaker 2: and concerning to see what is happening in the UK.
- 3:11Speaker 2: They are, as you mentioned in the opening, not only
- 3:15Speaker 2: like spying on people looking at what they're putting online,
- 3:19Speaker 2: but then deciding, hey, we don't like that, we may
- 3:23Speaker 2: charge you with crimes and put you in jail.
- 3:24Speaker 1: And people are actually going to jail in the UK
- 3:27Speaker 1: for this.
- 3:27Speaker 4: Well, that's exactly right.
- 3:29Speaker 3: It is frightening in the United Kingdom now that they've
- 3:32Speaker 3: decided that if you post something they don't like, they
- 3:36Speaker 3: will arrest you and they'll put you in jail. I
- 3:39Speaker 3: want you to listen to this British judge as he's
- 3:43Speaker 3: sentencing this poor brit to twenty months in jail. Twenty months,
- 3:49Speaker 3: that's almost two years for a Facebook post. He posted
- 3:53Speaker 3: something on Facebook. The British government didn't like it. They
- 3:57Speaker 3: sent him to jail.
- 3:58Speaker 4: Have a listen.
- 4:00Speaker 5: You have been committed for sentence having pleaded guilty to
- 4:04Speaker 5: an offense of publishing written material which is threatening, abusive
- 4:11Speaker 5: or insulting, intending thereby to stir up racial hatred. The
- 4:17Speaker 5: context of your offending is that it arises out of
- 4:22Speaker 5: the civil unrest and disorder in many parts of the
- 4:27Speaker 5: United Kingdom. On the night of the second and third
- 4:31Speaker 5: of August, the Britannia Hotel in Leeds was attacked by
- 4:36Speaker 5: people who through missiles which damaged windows. The police were
- 4:43Speaker 5: called and on the third of August the hotel was
- 4:46Speaker 5: locked down for the protection of those who were living there.
- 4:50Speaker 5: At the time, there were two hundred and ten occupants,
- 4:54Speaker 5: many of whom were foreign refugees and asylum seekers. Similar
- 5:00Speaker 5: attacks to the hotel were launched on the fourth of August.
- 5:05Speaker 5: The police attended on each occasion and units were deployed
- 5:10Speaker 5: to safeguard the hotel and to provide an increase in
- 5:14Speaker 5: the police presence in the area. In between the two attacks,
- 5:21Speaker 5: you took to social media in order to encourage others
- 5:26Speaker 5: towards participation in the attacks upon the hotel. As is
- 5:31Speaker 5: recognized on your behalf, this offense is so serious that
- 5:36Speaker 5: an immediate custodial sentence is unavoidable. Would you stand please.
- 5:43Speaker 5: The sentence that I pass has been reduced by one
- 5:46Speaker 5: third to reflect your guilty plea. The sentence is one
- 5:50Speaker 5: of twenty months imprisonment. You will serve up to one
- 5:54Speaker 5: half of your sentence in custody before you are released
- 5:58Speaker 5: in light on license. If you fail to abide by
- 6:02Speaker 5: the conditions of your license, you can be returned to
- 6:05Speaker 5: prison to serve some or all of the remainder of
- 6:09Speaker 5: the custodial term. The victim surcharge will apply and I
- 6:14Speaker 5: will make a collection order.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Two things are shocking there. One at the beginning he
- 6:19Speaker 2: said what you said was categorizing. He gave a list,
- 6:22Speaker 2: but then he used the word insulting. So you can
- 6:24Speaker 2: now go to jail because you post something that is insulting.
- 6:27Speaker 1: And then he.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Also says, by the way, you better be glad that
- 6:31Speaker 2: you pled guilty, which reduced your sentence by one third,
- 6:35Speaker 2: which was still as you mentioned, twenty months, almost two years.
- 6:38Speaker 1: This is in the UK, not in Russia.
- 6:41Speaker 3: So and I will say so this is one of
- 6:42Speaker 3: the videos. Every video we do, every pod we do
- 6:45Speaker 3: is released on audio. About a third of the pods
- 6:48Speaker 3: are also on video. This is one of the ones
- 6:51Speaker 3: that's on video. So if you're not watching on YouTube,
- 6:53Speaker 3: if you're watching on YouTube, you saw the guy. And
- 6:56Speaker 3: I got to say, first of all, the image. If
- 6:58Speaker 3: you're just listening to it, go watch it. He's wearing
- 7:02Speaker 3: a red robe. He's got a white wig on.
- 7:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:05Speaker 3: I gotta say, by the way, you'd look damn fine
- 7:07Speaker 3: in one of those. You can carry it off, you.
- 7:10Speaker 4: Know, just a little bit menagement with you.
- 7:14Speaker 2: There's gonna be some bet one day where I have
- 7:16Speaker 2: to host verdict with a white wig off.
- 7:18Speaker 3: And look he's sitting there. It is now an a fence.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Apparently to to post something that that that that that
- 7:25Speaker 3: could be insulting. So you know, apparently if if you
- 7:29Speaker 3: play the uh, you know, play a song from Hamilton
- 7:33Speaker 3: where King George is portrayed as a defeat looking wig
- 7:38Speaker 3: wearing limey bastard, then apparently that's that that that could
- 7:44Speaker 3: be justifiable if it's inciting of hate.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Yes, and what if someone just decides they don't like
- 7:50Speaker 2: a person online, they say, oh, they incited me to
- 7:52Speaker 2: do this, and that's why I went out and did this.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Therefore, go after that guy.
- 7:55Speaker 3: Now, I'm curious, what do you think of the odds
- 7:59Speaker 3: that the Brits will enforce that against say, a radical
- 8:04Speaker 3: Islamic cleric who's calling for Jahad to quote you zero
- 8:09Speaker 3: percentage zero no, no, no no no, you're not allowed.
- 8:12Speaker 3: By the way, when people are pointing out the violence
- 8:15Speaker 3: that is occurring in Britain, if you actually point out
- 8:18Speaker 3: that you have because of massive immigration into Britain, you
- 8:22Speaker 3: have violence, many from people who are engaged in acts
- 8:27Speaker 3: of radical Islamic terrorism. This law is being enforced not
- 8:31Speaker 3: to stop the violence, but to stop someone from pointing
- 8:35Speaker 3: out who's committing it. It is literally you know, George
- 8:39Speaker 3: Orwell was British, and I gotta say Orwell wouldn't be
- 8:43Speaker 3: surprised he predicted this in nineteen eighty four, the judge saying,
- 8:49Speaker 3: not saying, we will stop you from pointing something out.
- 8:55Speaker 3: We will silence you and erase any narrative contrary to
- 9:00Speaker 3: the regime.
- 9:02Speaker 2: And by the way, this is a threat not just
- 9:03Speaker 2: against people that are versuists. There is also a threat
- 9:06Speaker 2: of going to jail if you're a foreigner who happens
- 9:09Speaker 2: to offend them as well.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Oh come on, I love the Brits too much that
- 9:12Speaker 3: they would never threaten to violate the First Amendment of
- 9:16Speaker 3: the Constitution with They never never.
- 9:19Speaker 4: Okay, I want you to listen to this.
- 9:23Speaker 3: Police chief from England explaining that he's coming after you.
- 9:27Speaker 3: He's coming after Americans. He's going to cross the pond
- 9:30Speaker 3: here he comes.
- 9:31Speaker 4: Give a listen.
- 9:32Speaker 6: We will throw the false horse at the law of people.
- 9:35Speaker 6: And whether you're in this country committing crimes on the
- 9:38Speaker 6: streets or committing crimes from further afield online, we will
- 9:43Speaker 6: come after.
- 9:43Speaker 5: You about that.
- 9:44Speaker 7: Because we have seen some high profile figures whipping up
- 9:48Speaker 7: the hatred. He talked about it in there with the Offices,
- 9:50Speaker 7: in fact about this being added to bioline commentary. I mean,
- 9:53Speaker 7: I'm even thinking of the likes of Elon Musk getting involved.
- 9:57Speaker 7: What are you considering when it comes to dealing with
- 9:59Speaker 7: people they're whipping up this kind of behavior from behind
- 10:02Speaker 7: a keyboard, maybe in a different country.
- 10:06Speaker 6: Being a keyboard warrior does not make you safe from
- 10:09Speaker 6: the law. You can be guilty offenses of incitement stirring
- 10:14Speaker 6: up racial hatred. There are numerous terrorist offenses regarding the
- 10:19Speaker 6: publishing of material. All of those offenses are in play
- 10:23Speaker 6: if people are provoking hatred and violence on the streets,
- 10:26Speaker 6: and we will come after those individuals, just as we
- 10:28Speaker 6: will physically confront on the streets the folks and the
- 10:31Speaker 6: obs who are taking who are causing the promise for communities.
- 10:34Speaker 2: I love the part at the end, and for people
- 10:36Speaker 2: that aren't getting to watch this, there's a slide that
- 10:38Speaker 2: was up at the end this report, and it's a
- 10:40Speaker 2: warning that happened like on X warning people be careful
- 10:45Speaker 2: what you post because if you post something we don't like,
- 10:48Speaker 2: you may go to jail and then ex owner Elon
- 10:52Speaker 2: Musk who who I just I love you on every
- 10:54Speaker 2: time I see him just clap back like this made
- 10:57Speaker 2: ways when he responded to footage of someone allegedly arrested
- 11:01Speaker 2: for offensive online comments by asking.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Is this Britain or this Soviet Union? Now?
- 11:07Speaker 2: To be clear, in an article quote, the crackdown on
- 11:10Speaker 2: social media includes a threat by the British government to
- 11:13Speaker 2: extra dight American citizens from the US to be jailed
- 11:17Speaker 2: in the UK for violating the rules.
- 11:19Speaker 1: About political free speech.
- 11:21Speaker 2: So this is my question, Center, if I tweet something
- 11:24Speaker 2: in America about the UK, could they then come after
- 11:29Speaker 2: me based on what they're now saying because that offended
- 11:32Speaker 2: somebody in the UK.
- 11:33Speaker 3: Well, to be clear, the Chinese communists claim the power
- 11:37Speaker 3: to do that. Dictators across the world claim the power
- 11:40Speaker 3: to do that. I am sanctioned in communist China right now.
- 11:45Speaker 3: They have sanctioned me. Congratulations, I'm quite proud of that.
- 11:49Speaker 1: What did you do?
- 11:49Speaker 4: I don't even know.
- 11:50Speaker 3: I've probably called the murdering, tyrannical communist bastards. But I'm
- 11:55Speaker 3: sanctioned in China. I think I'm also sanctioned in Iran.
- 11:57Speaker 3: I can't quite that's a good US. I can't quite
- 12:01Speaker 3: keep up, and I think the Russians also. But it's
- 12:03Speaker 3: hard to keep up with how many oppressive regimes have
- 12:07Speaker 3: sanctioned me. But you know what, I never thought I'd
- 12:10Speaker 3: put the Brits on that list. You know, I've joked
- 12:13Speaker 3: Heidi and I Heidi, I like to say Heidi and
- 12:17Speaker 3: I are a mixed marriage. She's a Francophile, I'm an
- 12:20Speaker 3: Anglo Phile. I love the Brits. Yeah, and it breaks
- 12:24Speaker 3: my heart. Look, the Magna Carta is on fire. The
- 12:27Speaker 3: United Kingdom led the world in championing liberty. But let
- 12:33Speaker 3: me point out that any britt that wants to extradite
- 12:37Speaker 3: an American, and by the way, Elon Musk is an
- 12:39Speaker 3: American citizen. You want to come after Elon, you better
- 12:42Speaker 3: come through me and the rest of us first. You know,
- 12:45Speaker 3: we did have a little disagreement with the UK. It was,
- 12:47Speaker 3: it was minor. It was in a year called seventeen
- 12:50Speaker 3: seventy six. They tried to tax our tea.
- 12:52Speaker 2: By the way, I just want to go back in
- 12:54Speaker 2: history make sure yeah we did, OKAYI did.
- 12:56Speaker 4: They try to tax our tea.
- 12:58Speaker 3: We threw that stuff of the Boss and Harbor we
- 13:01Speaker 3: pulled out our muskets and we whipped their ass and
- 13:04Speaker 3: became free. And the idea that they would claim, look,
- 13:11Speaker 3: look it actually it's sad. It it great nations rise
- 13:15Speaker 3: and fall.
- 13:17Speaker 4: Uh.
- 13:17Speaker 3: The United Kingdom has been incredibly important for liberty worldwide.
- 13:24Speaker 3: And by the way, I could see some lefty picking
- 13:26Speaker 3: this little exchange and saying, oh, but the Brits were
- 13:29Speaker 3: slave traders. And it is true the United Kingdom there
- 13:32Speaker 3: their biggest industry for a period of time was the
- 13:35Speaker 3: slave trade until incredible heroes like William Wilberforce led the
- 13:40Speaker 3: fight to abolish the slave trade in the United Kingdom.
- 13:44Speaker 3: The UK has a great history of fighting for liberty.
- 13:48Speaker 3: Is it perfect? No, But but whether it it is
- 13:53Speaker 3: winning World War One and World War Two with America's
- 13:56Speaker 3: mighty help. Look, there is a reason why in my
- 13:59Speaker 3: own office in the Senate, I have three busts in
- 14:01Speaker 3: my office. I have Ronald Reagan, I have Doctor Martin
- 14:04Speaker 3: Luther King Junior, and I have Winston Churchill because Churchill
- 14:08Speaker 3: was an extraordinary leader. And by the way, if I
- 14:11Speaker 3: were to put a fourth bust up, I might put
- 14:13Speaker 3: Margaret Thatcher up. I mean two of the British leaders
- 14:17Speaker 3: have been among the most extraordinary leaders the world has
- 14:20Speaker 3: ever known, and yet to see where the UK is now.
- 14:26Speaker 3: It's heartbreaking that there's an arrogance and also a loss
- 14:33Speaker 3: of fundamental identity, a loss of who we.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Are, and that worries me.
- 14:39Speaker 2: For this standpoint in America right now, I don't think
- 14:43Speaker 2: we're that far off from this. I worry about what
- 14:47Speaker 2: freedom speech in this country. I go back just over
- 14:49Speaker 2: the last six seven, eight years. You know, you couldn't
- 14:52Speaker 2: post an article about Hunter Biden's laptop, right that was
- 14:55Speaker 2: something that like, oh no, no, that's not real. We
- 14:58Speaker 2: had people in our that were supposed to trust in
- 15:00Speaker 2: our in our CIA directors and others that came out
- 15:03Speaker 2: and signed a letter knowing they were lying to the
- 15:05Speaker 2: American people, and there was no accountability, for example, for
- 15:08Speaker 2: that saying oh this is something that has the markings
- 15:11Speaker 2: of Russians. I mean, you look at what's happening this
- 15:14Speaker 2: country a free speech. I don't think we're that far off,
- 15:18Speaker 2: especially if you look at Harris and what she says
- 15:20Speaker 2: as well.
- 15:20Speaker 4: Well.
- 15:21Speaker 3: And I want to demonstrate that because look, the most
- 15:25Speaker 3: important part of this podcast is underscoring you know a
- 15:28Speaker 3: few years ago if I would have said, uh, the
- 15:31Speaker 3: UK is going to lock people up for making social
- 15:33Speaker 3: media posts, you probably would have dismissed that has come
- 15:36Speaker 3: on that that that they still respect individual liberty too
- 15:40Speaker 3: much to do that, and now they're doing it. We
- 15:45Speaker 3: are very close to that in today's Democrat Party. In
- 15:48Speaker 3: the last few years one of the greatest concerns I've had.
- 15:52Speaker 4: Is the Democrat Party.
- 15:54Speaker 3: There used to be principled, passionate defenders of free speech
- 15:59Speaker 3: and the Democrat Party. They don't exist anymore. And today's
- 16:04Speaker 3: Democrats have decided that free speech the First Amendment, is
- 16:08Speaker 3: incompatible with their desire to control you and to silence
- 16:12Speaker 3: speech they don't like. And today's Democrats being in bed
- 16:16Speaker 3: with big tech, they view it as a machinery of
- 16:22Speaker 3: censorship and oppression because power matters more to them than
- 16:26Speaker 3: free speech. You know, there's a great article Jonathan Turley,
- 16:29Speaker 3: the great law professor, wrote just a few days ago
- 16:33Speaker 3: in The Hill and it's entitled, Harris Waltz administration would
- 16:37Speaker 3: be a nightmare for free speech. And I want you
- 16:39Speaker 3: to look at Kamala Harrison Tim Waltz's record on free speech,
- 16:43Speaker 3: because this is the most extreme and radical record on
- 16:47Speaker 3: free speech of any ticket that has ever run for
- 16:50Speaker 3: president with a major party. So you look at Joe Biden.
- 16:53Speaker 3: Joe Biden has made censorship a critical part of his legacy.
- 16:58Speaker 3: He has accused social media companies of quote, killing people.
- 17:02Speaker 3: That's Joe Biden for not censoring more so, that's his position.
- 17:07Speaker 3: If you don't censor, you're killing people. The administration created
- 17:11Speaker 3: an office like quote, the Disinformation Governance Board. Remember, Yeah,
- 17:16Speaker 3: the disinformations are led by that wacka who loved musical
- 17:20Speaker 3: theater and who had these these bizarre, smarmy singing things
- 17:25Speaker 3: on Twitter, who wanted to silence anyone she disagreed with.
- 17:28Speaker 3: Thankfully that disbanded because the pushback was was so significant.
- 17:33Speaker 3: But I want you to listen to Tim Waltz on
- 17:38Speaker 3: MSNBC what he says about free speech. Give a listen.
- 17:42Speaker 8: Years ago, it was the little things telling people to
- 17:45Speaker 8: vote the day after the election, and you know, we
- 17:47Speaker 8: kind of brush them off. Now we know it's intimidation
- 17:49Speaker 8: at the ballot box. It's it's undermining the idea that
- 17:53Speaker 8: mail in ballots aren't legal. I think we need to
- 17:56Speaker 8: push back on this. There's no guaranteed of free speech.
- 17:59Speaker 8: On misinformed or hate speech, and especially around our democracy,
- 18:03Speaker 8: tell the truth, where the voting places are, who can vote,
- 18:06Speaker 8: who's able to be there, And I you know, watching
- 18:08Speaker 8: some states continue to weaken the protections around the baut
- 18:12Speaker 8: I think is what inspiring us to lean into this.
- 18:15Speaker 9: Again.
- 18:16Speaker 8: All we're asking is is to make it as easy
- 18:19Speaker 8: and simple as possible to exercise their right to vote
- 18:22Speaker 8: and participate in our democracy. And I'm in one hundred
- 18:25Speaker 8: percent agreement with you. That makes it so that more
- 18:28Speaker 8: people are there, you get more opinions brought in, and
- 18:30Speaker 8: I think it tempers that extremes that we get because again,
- 18:35Speaker 8: I can't imagine someone going and standing in line for
- 18:39Speaker 8: eight hours to try and vote and then being told that,
- 18:43Speaker 8: you know, maybe the votes didn't count or maybe something Wronger,
- 18:45Speaker 8: you have these candidates who lose and are on these
- 18:50Speaker 8: ridiculous court cases that they keep bringing up and losing on.
- 18:53Speaker 8: Here in Minnesota, we're going to bring faith back into
- 18:56Speaker 8: that system. It's already been here. We're very proud that
- 18:58Speaker 8: we're near the top in voter turnout, but there's more
- 19:01Speaker 8: that we can do.
- 19:03Speaker 3: So I want you to hear those words, because that
- 19:06Speaker 3: is radical. It is idiotic and it is wrong. So
- 19:11Speaker 3: here's a quote that he just said. Quote, there's no
- 19:14Speaker 3: guarantee to free speech on misinformation or hate speech, and
- 19:17Speaker 3: especially around our democracy. Now, that is utter garbage. There
- 19:21Speaker 3: is a guarantee of free speech. It's called the First
- 19:23Speaker 3: Amendment to the Constitution. It is in the Bill of Rights.
- 19:27Speaker 3: And listen to what he said. There's no guarantee on misinformation,
- 19:31Speaker 3: by the way, and he said, look at these candidates
- 19:34Speaker 3: who filed lawsuits challenging elections. So apparently he wants to
- 19:37Speaker 3: go after you and prosecute you if you file a
- 19:40Speaker 3: lawsuit challenging an election. And he says, for example, misinformation,
- 19:45Speaker 3: He says, we just want to make sure everyone has
- 19:48Speaker 3: the right to vote. Well, you know what, mister Waltz,
- 19:51Speaker 3: I charge that as misinformation because your party tried to
- 19:55Speaker 3: throw Donald Trump off the ballot in Colorado, Illinois, and Maine.
- 20:00Speaker 3: You don't just want to make sure everyone has the
- 20:02Speaker 3: right to vote when you're trying to stop them from
- 20:05Speaker 3: voting for your opponent. And understand, the only reason that
- 20:09Speaker 3: didn't succeed is because the Supreme Court unanimously rejected your
- 20:14Speaker 3: party's assault on democracy. And when he says I can't
- 20:18Speaker 3: imagine waiting eight hours in line to vote and then
- 20:22Speaker 3: being told that your vote somehow matters less. Okay, are
- 20:26Speaker 3: you planning to prosecute Hillary Clinton when she said that
- 20:29Speaker 3: the election where Donald Trump beater was rigged? It is
- 20:32Speaker 3: exactly like the Brits. By the way, it is purely
- 20:36Speaker 3: one sided. You don't see Tim walt saying We're going
- 20:40Speaker 3: to go after some radical Islamic cleric who is promising
- 20:44Speaker 3: that you will have seventy two virgins if you just
- 20:47Speaker 3: go murder innocent people, if you go murder Jews, that
- 20:50Speaker 3: that will be He would not apply it there. What
- 20:53Speaker 3: he means is, if you dare say something contrary to
- 20:59Speaker 3: the regime, you have no right to free speech. That
- 21:03Speaker 3: is dangerous and it's radical and it's wrong.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's something that people need to understand moving
- 21:08Speaker 2: forward in this election. This is who they are. Believe
- 21:12Speaker 2: them when they tell you they are radical. I've said
- 21:14Speaker 2: that over and over again. If you just look and
- 21:17Speaker 2: listen to what they're saying, you can see what their
- 21:21Speaker 2: plan is.
- 21:21Speaker 3: And the way, by the way, Waltz is not alone.
- 21:24Speaker 3: Let me give you an example. So Stacey Plaskett, who
- 21:27Speaker 3: is a Democrat in Congress representing the Virgin Island. She declared, quote,
- 21:32Speaker 3: I hope that all members recognize that there is speech
- 21:35Speaker 3: that is not constitutionally perspective protected, referencing hate speech in particular,
- 21:39Speaker 3: Ben Cardon, Democrat, senator from Maryland, said quote, if you
- 21:45Speaker 3: espouse hate, you're not protected under the First Amendment. Now,
- 21:52Speaker 3: if he wrote that, he's a lawyer, if he wrote
- 21:54Speaker 3: that as a first year law student in constitutional law,
- 21:57Speaker 3: he would flunk. That's not even a D answer. That
- 22:00Speaker 3: it's an f answer. By the way, Howard Dean, remember
- 22:02Speaker 3: former governor Vermont, Democrat, ran for president. Here's what he said. Quote,
- 22:07Speaker 3: hate speech is not protected by the First Amendment. By
- 22:11Speaker 3: the way, the Supreme Court, it's a famous case, the
- 22:13Speaker 3: Skokie case, where they upheld the right of Nazis to
- 22:16Speaker 3: march in Skokie, Illinois, because the First Amendment protects the
- 22:21Speaker 3: right to speak, even if what you're saying is hateful.
- 22:23Speaker 3: And to be clear, I despise Nazis. They are bigoted,
- 22:27Speaker 3: evil idiots. The First Amendment protects the right of bigoted,
- 22:32Speaker 3: evil idiots to speak their idiocy. And the response, by
- 22:35Speaker 3: the way, is not for government to censor them. Not
- 22:38Speaker 3: for government to lock them up for twenty months, as
- 22:40Speaker 3: they're doing in the United Kingdom. The response is to
- 22:42Speaker 3: stand up and say you're Nazis, you're morons. It was
- 22:46Speaker 3: a great moment, and raiders are the lost dark when
- 22:48Speaker 3: your faces melted because you are evil and foolish. The answer,
- 22:53Speaker 3: as John Stuart Mill said, to bad speech, is more speech.
- 22:56Speaker 3: And by the way, if you don't want to listen
- 22:59Speaker 3: to me on it, listen to the Supreme Court of
- 23:01Speaker 3: the United States. Because the position of Tim Waltz, the
- 23:05Speaker 3: position of all those democrats I quoted, has been directly refuted.
- 23:09Speaker 3: I'm gonna give one example. In the twenty sixteen case
- 23:12Speaker 3: of Matal versus tam Here's what the Supreme Court wrote.
- 23:16Speaker 3: Quote this position, rather, this position that hate speech is
- 23:21Speaker 3: not protected by the First Amendment. Quote strikes at the
- 23:26Speaker 3: heart of the First Amendment. Speech that demeans on the
- 23:32Speaker 3: basis of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, age, disability, or any
- 23:40Speaker 3: other similar ground is hateful. But the proudest boast of
- 23:46Speaker 3: our free speech juris prudence is that we protect the
- 23:50Speaker 3: freedom to express the thought that we hate. I want
- 23:57Speaker 3: you to hear that phrase again. The proudest boast of
- 24:02Speaker 3: our free speech jurisprudence is that we protect the freedom
- 24:07Speaker 3: to express the thought that we hate. By the way,
- 24:12Speaker 3: Mattal versus TAM was a decision that was unanimous. Nobody
- 24:15Speaker 3: descended from the judgment. And yet where are the Democrats. Well,
- 24:21Speaker 3: let's look at Kamala Harris. Kamala Harris on her disasterbly
- 24:27Speaker 3: failed twenty twenty presidential campaign. Here's what she said. She
- 24:31Speaker 3: ran on censorship and she pledged quote that her administration
- 24:34Speaker 3: will hold social media platforms accountable for the hate infiltrating
- 24:39Speaker 3: their platforms because they have a responsibility to help fight
- 24:43Speaker 3: against this threat to our democracy. In twenty nineteen, Kamala
- 24:47Speaker 3: Harris said directly to Mark Zuckerberg, the lead owner of Facebook, quote,
- 24:54Speaker 3: this is not a matter of free speech. This is
- 24:56Speaker 3: a matter of holding corporate America and these big tech
- 24:59Speaker 3: companies respond and accountable for what they are facilitating. Understand,
- 25:05Speaker 3: Kamala Harrison, Tim Waltz. If they win, they intend to
- 25:09Speaker 3: go after your free speech. They intend to pressure big
- 25:13Speaker 3: tech to censor even more. And what they define as
- 25:17Speaker 3: hate is anything contrary to their agenda. So, for example,
- 25:23Speaker 3: if you point out, as say hypothetically someone may have
- 25:28Speaker 3: in Milwaukee at a speech at the Republican National Convention
- 25:32Speaker 3: to the world that every damn day Americans are being murdered,
- 25:40Speaker 3: women are being raped, children are being brutalized by illegal aliens.
- 25:44Speaker 3: That Kamala Harris is releasing in the world of Kamala
- 25:48Speaker 3: Harris and Tim Waltz, that might be deemed misinformation. Why
- 25:52Speaker 3: because it's hateful and what do they mean by hateful?
- 25:54Speaker 3: It's inconvenient for their political agenda, so they want to
- 25:58Speaker 3: censor it. And maybe not far from the Brits, they
- 26:01Speaker 3: want to put you in jail for saying it.
- 26:03Speaker 2: You go back and you think about one thing here.
- 26:05Speaker 2: The Democrats have been attacking the Supreme Court recently. They
- 26:08Speaker 2: don't like the Supreme Court very much, so just pack
- 26:10Speaker 2: it undo.
- 26:11Speaker 1: That as well.
- 26:12Speaker 2: It's very interesting how they're playing this out here. It's
- 26:15Speaker 2: like anything we don't like we want to get rid
- 26:17Speaker 2: of or redo, we want to change it. They're coming
- 26:20Speaker 2: after the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, is Supreme Court.
- 26:23Speaker 2: The list goes on and on from this team.
- 26:26Speaker 3: And by the way, you know what Benjamin Franklin said
- 26:28Speaker 3: about this. I'm want to give you a quote from
- 26:29Speaker 3: Ben Franklin quote in those wretched countries where a man
- 26:34Speaker 3: cannot call his tongue his own, he can scarce call
- 26:39Speaker 3: anything his own. Whoever would overthrow the liberty of a
- 26:43Speaker 3: nation must begin by subduing the freeness of speech without
- 26:50Speaker 3: freedom of thought. There can be no such thing as wisdom,
- 26:55Speaker 3: and no such thing as public liberty without freedom of speech,
- 27:00Speaker 3: which is the right of every man. That statement, Ben Franklin.
- 27:06Speaker 3: There's a reason Ben Franklin's one hundred dollar bill. There's
- 27:12Speaker 3: a reason Ben Franklin sat at the Constitutional Convention the
- 27:19Speaker 3: famed Exchange when Franklin walked out of the Constitutional Convention
- 27:23Speaker 3: after they drafted the Constitution, and a passerby asked in
- 27:26Speaker 3: mister Franklin, what have you given us? And he said,
- 27:32Speaker 3: a republic if you can keep it. I will say,
- 27:37Speaker 3: with today's radical democrats who have decided free speech is
- 27:41Speaker 3: inconvenient to their thirst for power, they're doing everything they
- 27:46Speaker 3: can to give up our republic.
- 27:47Speaker 1: Amen to that.
- 27:48Speaker 2: I want to tell you about my friends ever blackout coffee.
- 27:51Speaker 2: If you're like me and you start your day early,

- 29:24Speaker 2: back after we have the warning of what just happened
- 29:28Speaker 2: in the UK, to Harris and Wallace Wells as a ticket. Now, yeah,
- 29:33Speaker 2: they are a radical ticket that the Democratic Party has
- 29:38Speaker 2: never seen before. I think that's saying something. We've had
- 29:41Speaker 2: pretty extremist candidates before they've run. We've never seen a
- 29:44Speaker 2: dynamic duo like this where it's almost like they try
- 29:48Speaker 2: to one up each other on how extreme they can go.
- 29:50Speaker 4: Well, Ben, how could that be true.
- 29:53Speaker 3: I've seen in the news that Kamala Harris was not
- 29:56Speaker 3: the borders are that you never had anything to do
- 29:58Speaker 3: with the border. I've seen in the news how you
- 30:01Speaker 3: know fracking, Gosh, golly, she just loves her some fracking.
- 30:06Speaker 3: I've seen in the news now that she has proposals
- 30:10Speaker 3: straight from from from Donald Trump's tax plan. I mean,
- 30:15Speaker 3: it is amazing how Kamala Harris and Tim Waltz are
- 30:19Speaker 3: trying to whitewash their entire record. You go to Kamala
- 30:23Speaker 3: Harrison Tim Waltz's website, which I don't advise, but there
- 30:28Speaker 3: are no policy positions on it.
- 30:29Speaker 1: She's gonna have some though.
- 30:30Speaker 3: I've never seen a presidential campaign website without policy positions.
- 30:36Speaker 3: It really is remarkable. And and and and.
- 30:39Speaker 1: Doing no interviews as well, that's weird.
- 30:42Speaker 3: And and she's trying to run as the candidate of
- 30:45Speaker 3: change as the incumbent.
- 30:47Speaker 2: In fact, there's a great montage that went viral this
- 30:51Speaker 2: week online and I think it goes exactly the point
- 30:54Speaker 2: you were making, which is they're constantly changing who they
- 30:58Speaker 2: are to try to fit what they think will get elected. Now,
- 31:00Speaker 2: this is brilliant.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Take a look.
- 31:03Speaker 4: Kamala Harris pretends she wants to fix the broken border,
- 31:06Speaker 4: but she has attacked and vilified everyone responsible for enforcing it.
- 31:10Speaker 9: Clan was what we would call today a domestic terrorist group.
- 31:14Speaker 10: Are you aware of the perception of many about how
- 31:20Speaker 10: the power and the discretion at ice is being used
- 31:24Speaker 10: to enforce the laws and do you see any parallels.
- 31:28Speaker 9: I do not see any parallels between.
- 31:30Speaker 1: I'm talking about perceptions and eight. Are you aware that
- 31:32Speaker 1: there's a perception ICE.
- 31:33Speaker 9: In the same category as the KKKA.
- 31:35Speaker 11: We've got to critically re examine ICE and its role
- 31:39Speaker 11: and the way that it is being administered and the
- 31:41Speaker 11: work it is doing, and we need to probably think
- 31:43Speaker 11: about starting from scratch.
- 31:45Speaker 5: I was the chief of the barbatroal.
- 31:46Speaker 4: I commanded twenty one thousand people.
- 31:49Speaker 7: I've never had one conversation with the president or the
- 31:52Speaker 7: vice president for that matter.
- 31:54Speaker 1: That's a problem.
- 31:55Speaker 12: Jensaki, Vice President Kamala Harris others have seized on this
- 31:58Speaker 12: photo of a border patrol agent on a horse in
- 32:02Speaker 12: del Rear over the weekend. They say visuals were horrific.
- 32:04Speaker 11: In their words, I was outraged by it, and it's
- 32:08Speaker 11: to be consequence and accountability. It also evolved images of
- 32:12Speaker 11: some of the worst moments of our history where that
- 32:16Speaker 11: kind of behavior has been used against the indigenous people
- 32:21Speaker 11: of our country, has been used against African Americans during
- 32:25Speaker 11: times of slavery at and.
- 32:26Speaker 13: That is just blatantly false. First off, these agents don't
- 32:30Speaker 13: have whips. We have a couple of them behind us,
- 32:32Speaker 13: right now. Look, we'll show it to you. What was
- 32:33Speaker 13: seen in the photos is they have what are called
- 32:36Speaker 13: split range.
- 32:37Speaker 11: The border patrol agents were attacked by the Vice President
- 32:40Speaker 11: of the United States and now the Department of Homeland Security.
- 32:42Speaker 12: But he had still photos that of course the media
- 32:45Speaker 12: blew up to mean something that it wasn't.
- 32:48Speaker 13: But the agents are very frustrated by the narrative out there.
- 32:51Speaker 12: They threw border patrol members under the bus that you
- 32:54Speaker 12: are that border patrol member who's being compared by the
- 32:58Speaker 12: Vice president to a slave owner.
- 33:02Speaker 11: It was clear from the beginning that they were not
- 33:04Speaker 11: whipping any migrants. Do you plan to visit the.
- 33:07Speaker 10: Border not today.
- 33:12Speaker 2: This is a woman, to be clear, that said we
- 33:14Speaker 2: needed to just abolish ice and start all over. Now
- 33:17Speaker 2: she's saying, oh, I'm gonna be tough on the border
- 33:20Speaker 2: because we got to secure the border. There's the same
- 33:22Speaker 2: woman that said that the border wall was racist. But
- 33:25Speaker 2: now the media is like, oh, hey, we got to
- 33:27Speaker 2: change the narrative here because people are concerned about the border.
- 33:29Speaker 1: We know it's a presidential election, your issue, and we're.
- 33:32Speaker 2: Gonna act like somehow, now she's gonna get tough on
- 33:35Speaker 2: the border. It's absurd, but they're helping her do this
- 33:38Speaker 2: lie perpetrate this line on the American people.
- 33:42Speaker 3: And listen, as you know, I spend a lot of
- 33:45Speaker 3: time at our southern border. I know a lot of
- 33:47Speaker 3: Border patrol agents very very well. This demonization, she said
- 33:52Speaker 3: at a hearing, she compared ICE agents to.
- 33:56Speaker 4: The ku Klux Klan.
- 33:59Speaker 3: That's grotesque. And and and she compared border patrol agents
- 34:05Speaker 3: two slave owners whipping African Americans. And by the way,
- 34:09Speaker 3: that photograph that the press went crazy with, and then
- 34:13Speaker 3: she eagerly leapt on that photographs, that characterization was wrong,
- 34:18Speaker 3: that border patrol agent was simply riding his horse. Those
- 34:21Speaker 3: were the reins, And it was wrongfully characterized that that
- 34:25Speaker 3: that anybody was being whipped. And I've talked to border
- 34:28Speaker 3: patrol agents who were deeply offended at the Vice President
- 34:34Speaker 3: at the administration demonizing the brave men and women who
- 34:39Speaker 3: risk their lives to keep us safe. She is a
- 34:43Speaker 3: radical who has consistently argued for abolishing ICE. By the way,
- 34:48Speaker 3: she's also supported defunding and abolishing the police when it
- 34:51Speaker 3: comes to law enforcement. Any time, Kamala Harris, you.
- 34:54Speaker 2: Get people out of jail, by the way, in Minnesota
- 34:57Speaker 2: who were involved in the riots while they burning down
- 35:00Speaker 2: the city.
- 35:01Speaker 3: What's why she and she and Tim Waltz are such
- 35:03Speaker 3: a good pair because Tim Waltz was governor of Minnesota
- 35:05Speaker 3: when Minneapolis burned, when Antifa and Black Lives Matter radicals
- 35:09Speaker 3: were burning the city where fire bombing police cars were
- 35:12Speaker 3: looting stores, we're attacking police officers were attacking citizens. He
- 35:16Speaker 3: did nothing. He did not send in the National Guard.
- 35:18Speaker 3: He held it back. And what did she do? As
- 35:21Speaker 3: you said, she raised money to bail the violent rioters
- 35:24Speaker 3: out of jail. Consistently, given the choice between law enforcement
- 35:29Speaker 3: and criminals, Kamala Harris and Tim Waltz choose the criminals.
- 35:33Speaker 3: Given a choice between border patrol and ice and illegal immigrants,
- 35:37Speaker 3: Kamala Harris and Tim Waltz, they choose the illegal immigrants.
- 35:41Speaker 3: That's their record, and they're magically trying to make that
- 35:43Speaker 3: go away.
- 35:44Speaker 2: You and I were at the Republican convention. You and
- 35:46Speaker 2: I both had the conversation the last night that we met.
- 35:49Speaker 2: We were worried that we came out of there too
- 35:52Speaker 2: confident because it was such a great convention. Everything started
- 35:56Speaker 2: all over with Kamala Harris. Now be no one's voted for,
- 35:59Speaker 2: but apparently that doesn't matter. She's the nominee and we're.
- 36:04Speaker 3: But Tim Waltz said, all they want is democracy.
- 36:06Speaker 1: Yes, that's true.
- 36:06Speaker 3: But does democracy mean people actually have to vote for
- 36:09Speaker 3: the candidate or what about the millions of Democrats have
- 36:11Speaker 3: voted for Joe Biden.
- 36:13Speaker 4: Do they not have a right to democracy?
- 36:15Speaker 1: Yeah? Fair point. But you look at this and you
- 36:17Speaker 1: see where we are now.
- 36:19Speaker 2: I'm very concerned about this election, and I think it's
- 36:21Speaker 2: a complete reset. And I'm also very concerned with the
- 36:25Speaker 2: kind contribution coming from the media. What I mean by
- 36:28Speaker 2: that perfect example of this is Donald Trump seized on
- 36:33Speaker 2: something that was very authentic and organic. He was out
- 36:37Speaker 2: in Vegas, he was having a conversation with people in
- 36:40Speaker 2: the service industry.
- 36:42Speaker 1: He had an idea apparently wrote it on a napkin.
- 36:44Speaker 2: We shouldn't tax tips. Help people survive, help people make
- 36:50Speaker 2: a living. And he said it at a rally and
- 36:53Speaker 2: it just work and it stuck and people loved it
- 36:56Speaker 2: because he was a guy looking out for the little guy.
- 36:58Speaker 2: He was advocating for these hard working people that rely
- 37:01Speaker 2: on tips as part of their income, and it obviously
- 37:06Speaker 2: played well with many people in this country. Fast forward
- 37:09Speaker 2: a few days ago, kam Way Harris says the same thing.
- 37:12Speaker 3: Well, and let me give a little more narrative on that.
- 37:15Speaker 3: So Trump announced it at the Vegas rally. And and
- 37:18Speaker 3: I think the next week he was in DC and
- 37:21Speaker 3: I had lunch with him. He had lunch with all
- 37:22Speaker 3: the Republican senators. He was actually telling us the backstory
- 37:25Speaker 3: of it, and and and he said, well, you know,
- 37:27Speaker 3: this was not an idea that came from a bunch
- 37:30Speaker 3: of policy experts that had a bunch of white papers.
- 37:33Speaker 4: He said he.
- 37:34Speaker 3: Was in Vegas right before the rally, and he said
- 37:36Speaker 3: he was having I think lunch or dinner.
- 37:37Speaker 4: I think it was lunch.
- 37:39Speaker 3: And he said there was a waitress who came up
- 37:41Speaker 3: who complained about the really oppressive enforcement from Joe Biden
- 37:48Speaker 3: Kamala Harris of their efforts to tax tips and how
- 37:51Speaker 3: it was really burdened some of the record keeping and
- 37:53Speaker 3: it was really hard. And and Trump says, at dinner,
- 37:56Speaker 3: pulled out a piece of paper and just wrote down
- 37:58Speaker 3: no taxes on tips. And then he said he went
- 38:01Speaker 3: to the rally and he just said it, and he said, and.
- 38:03Speaker 4: They went wild, they went wild.
- 38:07Speaker 3: I got to say there are moments I think of
- 38:11Speaker 3: political genius, and I think that was one of them.
- 38:15Speaker 3: So the next week I introduced legislation in the Senate
- 38:20Speaker 3: to exempt tips from taxes because I heard that idea
- 38:24Speaker 3: and it's exactly right. And the reason I introduced legislation.
- 38:28Speaker 3: There are a lot of reasons, but one right at
- 38:29Speaker 3: the heart is for over a decade, for as long
- 38:32Speaker 3: as I've been in the Senate, I have been advocating
- 38:34Speaker 3: that the Republican Party, we should be a blue collar party.
- 38:38Speaker 3: We should be the party of waiters and waitresses. We
- 38:40Speaker 3: should be the party of bartenders. We should be the
- 38:43Speaker 3: party of hairdressers and nail salon workers and taxi cab
- 38:47Speaker 3: drivers and and and everyone who has callouses on their
- 38:52Speaker 3: hands because they're working hard, and it is a policy.
- 38:56Speaker 3: The contrast is night and day. That's who we should
- 38:59Speaker 3: be fighting for. And you know it's striking. I introduced
- 39:01Speaker 3: that legislation. It's got a number of co sponsors. You
- 39:04Speaker 3: know who also joined it. Here's that both Democrat senators
- 39:09Speaker 3: from Nevada, really Jackie Rosen and Catherine Cortez Masto, both
- 39:14Speaker 3: joined my legislation. Because about twenty five percent of the
- 39:18Speaker 3: workers in Nevada are tipped workers. And I got to
- 39:22Speaker 3: say my reaction when I heard him make that proposal,
- 39:25Speaker 3: I said, Donald Trump will carry Nevada on that policy issue.
- 39:29Speaker 3: By the way, the culinary union has come out emphatically
- 39:33Speaker 3: in support of Trump's proposal, emphatically in support of my
- 39:36Speaker 3: legislation exempting tips from taxes. And so this week here's
- 39:43Speaker 3: Kamala Harris. I want you to give a listen, first
- 39:45Speaker 3: to Trump in Nevada announcing the policy proposal, and then
- 39:50Speaker 3: Kamala just shamelessly copying him.
- 39:52Speaker 8: Give a listen, because when I get to office, we
- 39:55Speaker 8: are going to not charge taxes on tips people make tips.
- 40:04Speaker 11: Eliminate taxes on tips for service and hospitality workers.
- 40:10Speaker 1: I mean, that's just straight up stealing. But I do
- 40:12Speaker 1: think so.
- 40:13Speaker 4: June ninth is when Trump said it.
- 40:14Speaker 3: August tenth is when she said it, and she didn't
- 40:17Speaker 3: have the dignity to say, you know, I actually would
- 40:20Speaker 3: have respected it more as she says, Look, there are
- 40:24Speaker 3: lots of areas where I disagree with Donald Trump. I'm
- 40:27Speaker 3: a left wing Democrat kook.
- 40:29Speaker 4: He's not.
- 40:31Speaker 3: However, he had an idea that's a really good one,
- 40:33Speaker 3: and I'm here to tell you right now would this,
- 40:36Speaker 3: I would do the same that I could respect. But
- 40:38Speaker 3: she doesn't acknowledge it. And the irony is she also
- 40:43Speaker 3: doesn't acknowledge what prompted it, which is that her administration,
- 40:49Speaker 3: the Biden Harris administration, she was the tie breaking vote
- 40:54Speaker 3: on the legislation that provided millions for the IRS to
- 41:00Speaker 3: go after waiters and waitresses and everyone's who's making tips
- 41:05Speaker 3: and to enforce it vigorously and to hammer on them.
- 41:11Speaker 3: And yet she doesn't acknowledge any of that. This is gaslighting,
- 41:14Speaker 3: one on one.
- 41:14Speaker 2: This is why, by the way, I love doing the show,
- 41:16Speaker 2: and I will say to everybody that right now listening
- 41:19Speaker 2: or watching, this is when I ask you share it.
- 41:21Speaker 1: And here's why.
- 41:22Speaker 2: Know when the media is going to tell you this
- 41:24Speaker 2: in February, because what you're just said.
- 41:26Speaker 1: Is not something ten years ago. And then she had
- 41:28Speaker 1: a change of heart.
- 41:29Speaker 2: Okay, it's not like it was a polic ten years ago,
- 41:31Speaker 2: and there was some negative effects came out of it
- 41:32Speaker 2: that you didn't realize, and then you're like, hey, look
- 41:34Speaker 2: that was a long time ago, decade ago.
- 41:36Speaker 1: In February of twenty twenty three.
- 41:40Speaker 2: It came to light that Biden's IRS planned to crack
- 41:44Speaker 2: down on the service industries reporting on tips. The Service
- 41:48Speaker 2: Industry Tip Compliance Agreement Program was to be a voluntary
- 41:53Speaker 2: tip reporting system in which the IRS and the service
- 41:57Speaker 2: industry companies cooperated, which is where they would crackdown on
- 42:01Speaker 2: the actual workers. The program was meant to quote improve
- 42:05Speaker 2: tip reporting compliance, reduce administrative burdens, and provide more transparency
- 42:11Speaker 2: and certainty to tax payers, again going after the little
- 42:15Speaker 2: guy here. And the program feature included quote monitoring of
- 42:21Speaker 2: employer compliance based on actual annual tip revenue, So big
- 42:26Speaker 2: brother watching you and charge tip data from an employer's
- 42:30Speaker 2: point of sales system, so now the computer's tracking you.
- 42:34Speaker 2: And allowance for adjustments in tipping practices from year to
- 42:37Speaker 2: year to protect the employer from getting in trouble by
- 42:41Speaker 2: turning in in essence their employees. And who did this,
- 42:44Speaker 2: Kamala Harris and Joe Biden. And now she's out there
- 42:48Speaker 2: saying I want you to not have to pay taxes
- 42:50Speaker 2: on your tips, when again, twenty twenty three February wasn't
- 42:55Speaker 2: that long ago?
- 42:56Speaker 3: Yeah, and look, this is a standard practice and pattern
- 42:59Speaker 3: of Joe Biden, Kamala Harris siding with the big guy
- 43:03Speaker 3: siding with giant corporations, whether it's big tech or giant
- 43:05Speaker 3: corporations against the little guy. You know, there was an
- 43:10Speaker 3: interesting story this same lunch where Trump was telling us
- 43:12Speaker 3: the backstory of this proposal.
- 43:16Speaker 4: The day before the.
- 43:17Speaker 3: Lunch, Trump and Lindsey Graham had played golf, and Lindsey
- 43:21Speaker 3: told everyone, he said, look, the two of us were
- 43:23Speaker 3: playing golf, and they're both big golfers, and you know, look,
- 43:26Speaker 3: your son is one of the best golfers in the world.
- 43:28Speaker 3: But Lindsey described how midway through the golf game, he said,
- 43:33Speaker 3: their two caddies came up and hugged Donald Trump because
- 43:38Speaker 3: he had just made the proposal of no taxes on tips.
- 43:41Speaker 3: And listen, golf caddies like barbers, like bartenders. There there
- 43:45Speaker 3: were all sorts of professions where a big chunk of
- 43:49Speaker 3: their revenue and many of them were just barely making
- 43:51Speaker 3: ends meet. They're just starting to climb the economic ladder,
- 43:54Speaker 3: and they literally came and hugged him for that proposal.
- 43:58Speaker 3: And so Kamala Harris is now trying to pretend, Look,
- 44:01Speaker 3: I'm glad she's supporting my legislation. I got to say,
- 44:04Speaker 3: this is a first. I do not believe Kamala Harris
- 44:07Speaker 3: as ever before publicly endorsed legislation that I filed and
- 44:12Speaker 3: am the lead author of. Now, she didn't mention it
- 44:14Speaker 3: was my legislation. She didn't mention it was Trump's idea.
- 44:17Speaker 3: And to be clear, I took the idea from Trump.
- 44:19Speaker 3: It was his idea and ran with it. I just
- 44:21Speaker 3: had the sense of saying, that's a damn good idea,
- 44:23Speaker 3: let's do it. And so I went and put pen
- 44:25Speaker 3: to paper to actually draft it to make it happen.
- 44:29Speaker 3: But but but I readily credit it was Trump's idea.
- 44:33Speaker 3: Kamala could not be bothered to acknowledge anything other than
- 44:37Speaker 3: pretending this has always been her view.
- 44:39Speaker 2: Mom and Agad, I told you about Blackout Coffee, and well,

- 46:33Speaker 2: something else that's been happening over the last couple weeks,
- 46:37Speaker 2: and that is the media is trying to make Harrison
- 46:40Speaker 2: a running mate look like they're moderates, like they're not extremists,
- 46:43Speaker 2: they're not radicals, even though their entire history says that's
- 46:47Speaker 2: exactly what they are.
- 46:48Speaker 3: Look I want you to listen to two clips that
- 46:50Speaker 3: really sums up just how extreme they are. The first
- 46:55Speaker 3: is from Tim Waltz and he's talking about his fellow
- 46:58Speaker 3: Minnesota ilhan Omar. To be clear, illhan Omar is one
- 47:02Speaker 3: of the founding members of the Squad. She is a radical,
- 47:05Speaker 3: anti Semiti, she hates Israel. She is extreme. Listen to
- 47:10Speaker 3: what Tim Waltz thinks about.
- 47:12Speaker 8: Her something I'll never get tired of saying. I think
- 47:16Speaker 8: all of you, Congresswoman Omar, wonderful.
- 47:20Speaker 6: And that's up.
- 47:24Speaker 8: When I'm having a tough day or I'm out on
- 47:26Speaker 8: about mile five of my run and I'm feeling kind
- 47:28Speaker 8: of down and the world's pressing on me, I think
- 47:30Speaker 8: Ilhan Omar is a congresswoman and it just brightens you up.
- 47:33Speaker 10: So thank you.
- 47:35Speaker 2: I just wonder like mile three is he's sitting there
- 47:37Speaker 2: thinking about that's the same congressman that said that the
- 47:40Speaker 2: terrorists that attacked us on nine eleven were some people
- 47:42Speaker 2: that did some things.
- 47:45Speaker 3: Look, Ilhan Omar is a congresswoman, and that's something that
- 47:50Speaker 3: just brightens you up.
- 47:51Speaker 4: That's what he said.
- 47:53Speaker 3: This is everyone will acknowledge one of the most radical
- 47:56Speaker 3: and extreme is zealous, and that brightens his day. That
- 48:03Speaker 3: tells you who he is. Now, if you think that's bad,
- 48:09Speaker 3: I got something worse.
- 48:11Speaker 4: Do you like Christmas?
- 48:12Speaker 1: Love Christmas?
- 48:13Speaker 3: Okay, Well you're not Kamala Harris. Give a listen to Kamala.
- 48:17Speaker 11: When we all sing happy tunes and sing Merry Christmas
- 48:21Speaker 11: and wish each other merry Christmas, these children are not
- 48:24Speaker 11: going to have a merry Christmas. How dare we speak
- 48:29Speaker 11: Merry Christmas? How dare we.
- 48:32Speaker 2: I haven't seen somebody get that crazy about hating Christmas
- 48:35Speaker 2: in a long time.
- 48:36Speaker 3: And understand what she's saying. They're in context. She's talking
- 48:39Speaker 3: about illegal immigrants, and she's saying illegal immigrants are having
- 48:42Speaker 3: a lousy time. So how dare we say Merry Christmas? Immigrants?
- 48:49Speaker 4: I mean it is.
- 48:51Speaker 3: This is a woman whose entire career has been siding
- 48:56Speaker 3: with criminals and with illegal immigrants, and in her mind,
- 49:03Speaker 3: even saying Merry Christmas is unacceptable as long as there
- 49:09Speaker 3: is one illegal immigrant.
- 49:10Speaker 4: Who was not backs basking in luxury.
- 49:16Speaker 3: All right, final point before we wrap up, I'm gonna
- 49:20Speaker 3: make a prediction. So eleven months ago, on Verdict, I
- 49:27Speaker 3: predicted that the Democrats would throw Joe Biden off the ticket.
- 49:30Speaker 4: You were you were correct.
- 49:31Speaker 1: Let's have that moment.
- 49:34Speaker 4: At the time many in the media.
- 49:36Speaker 3: I do too. It wasn't what I wanted to have happened.
- 49:40Speaker 3: It was a prediction. And by the way, over the
- 49:43Speaker 3: eleven months, I gave a a scaling set of odds
- 49:47Speaker 3: that increased as we got closer and closer and closer.
- 49:50Speaker 3: The night of the debate between Trump and Biden. You
- 49:54Speaker 3: and I recorded a podcast immediately after the debate. I
- 49:57Speaker 3: said that night, the Democrats, we'll push Joe Biden off.
- 50:02Speaker 3: I put the odds at one hundred percent at the time,
- 50:04Speaker 3: and they did, and they did. So I'm going to
- 50:08Speaker 3: make another prediction, and it's not one that I want
- 50:10Speaker 3: to have happen. I'm gonna put the odds at forty
- 50:15Speaker 3: percent that Joe Biden resigns between now an election.
- 50:19Speaker 2: Day, really forty percent, so that they can see her
- 50:23Speaker 2: as president's or it'll be easier to get her elected.
- 50:25Speaker 4: That's exactly right.
- 50:26Speaker 3: So that Kamala Harris is the incumbent president, she is
- 50:29Speaker 3: running for a reelection. I still think it is sixty forty.
- 50:33Speaker 3: They don't that Biden's high. That that Biden they pushed
- 50:37Speaker 3: him out, They pushed him out. I think he's pretty ticked.
- 50:40Speaker 3: He'd have to go along with it. But I think
- 50:46Speaker 3: there are going to be very serious discussions in the
- 50:49Speaker 3: White House by all the partisans whose paycheck is written
- 50:55Speaker 3: by continuing the regime. Everyone who stays in power is
- 50:59Speaker 3: going to say, you know, now, if you say your
- 51:02Speaker 3: health has reached a point that you need to step aside,
- 51:06Speaker 3: which clearly it has. Of course it had a year ago,
- 51:08Speaker 3: two years ago, three years ago, four years ago. But
- 51:11Speaker 3: if you say that and she's the sitting president from
- 51:14Speaker 3: the Democrat perspective, I think they would say it increases
- 51:18Speaker 3: our chances of her winning, and we want to win,
- 51:22Speaker 3: and they put winning above everything else. I don't think
- 51:24Speaker 3: it's greater than fifty to fifty, but I think it
- 51:27Speaker 3: is a very real possibility right now today.
- 51:30Speaker 1: I don't like that prediction.
- 51:31Speaker 3: I don't know, but I don't I don't either. I
- 51:35Speaker 3: don't want it to come true.
- 51:38Speaker 2: It gives it like it gives her a huge advantage,
- 51:41Speaker 2: huge advantages.
- 51:42Speaker 3: Which is why I think they will have a very
- 51:45Speaker 3: serious discussion. I think if they can bully Joe Biden
- 51:48Speaker 3: into doing it, it'll happen.
- 51:50Speaker 2: Don't forget me. Just show Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Makes
- 51:53Speaker 2: sure you hit that subscriber on or download button wherever
- 51:56Speaker 2: you're listening. And if you miss this video pod, it's

- 52:01Speaker 2: and share that on social media and the centaer. I
- 52:03Speaker 2: will see you back here in a couple of days.
- 52:06Speaker 2: You never know what predictions may come out
- 52:08Speaker 1: Of the show.
