- 1:24Speaker 5: You got to turn to turn the mouth turn you
- 1:43Speaker 5: probably got to turn the mouth, turn out, turn the
- 1:47Speaker 5: word of the money.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Up, come.

- 1:59Speaker 7: You'll think that.
- 2:01Speaker 1: H huh.
- 2:02Speaker 7: I show will good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 2: You are listening to the voice, come on dig me now,
- 2:09Speaker 2: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay.
- 2:15Speaker 2: I want to share something with you that I had
- 2:17Speaker 2: to come to the realization one time and even in
- 2:21Speaker 2: the reinvention of myself right now, I've had to come
- 2:24Speaker 2: to that and I want to share it with you today.
- 2:27Speaker 7: Give it to you.
- 2:28Speaker 2: I want to tell you about something that a lot
- 2:30Speaker 2: of people do in their life and I want you
- 2:33Speaker 2: to be aware of it. Here it is, don't get
- 2:38Speaker 2: stuck on yourself. You could be wrong. You know I said,
- 2:47Speaker 2: don't get stuck on yourself. You could be wrong.
- 2:52Speaker 7: You know.
- 2:55Speaker 2: The reason I'm saying this is because people have a
- 3:01Speaker 2: tendency to once they make a decision about something or
- 3:05Speaker 2: Once they decide to go a certain path, they go
- 3:09Speaker 2: against all everything, anything anybody says, anything anybody might do,
- 3:17Speaker 2: any other ruling they may come across. They shun advice,
- 3:24Speaker 2: they don't listen to counsel. They just not made the decision.
- 3:31Speaker 2: I'm gonna do it anyway. Don't get stuck on yourself.
- 3:37Speaker 2: You could be wrong, you know. Now here's a sure
- 3:41Speaker 2: fire way to tell if you're wrong. If you don't
- 3:47Speaker 2: see any movement in the direction you've chosen, if you
- 3:54Speaker 2: don't see anything going right in that decision, if you
- 4:02Speaker 2: feel as though you're in a rut, if the wall
- 4:07Speaker 2: you're climbing seems so insurmountable that you ain't even moving
- 4:12Speaker 2: an inch, and every time you turn around you keep
- 4:16Speaker 2: getting knocked by down, knocked back down. Don't get stuck
- 4:19Speaker 2: on yourself. You know you could be wrong, you know. See,
- 4:23Speaker 2: that's why it's important for people to always be open
- 4:27Speaker 2: to the reinvention of yourself. You know, you cannot be
- 4:32Speaker 2: afraid to reinvent yourself. In other words, you can't be
- 4:38Speaker 2: afraid to change. Change is necessary when it comes to growth.
- 4:44Speaker 2: There is no growth without change. The more you know,
- 4:49Speaker 2: the older you look, That is no growth without change.
- 4:56Speaker 2: If you're heading in a direction, it ain't nothing going
- 4:59Speaker 2: right in your life. Could it be the wrong direction.
- 5:03Speaker 2: If you're climbing and you're making no headway, could it
- 5:06Speaker 2: be the wrong direction? Could you have possibly made the
- 5:10Speaker 2: wrong choice. Don't get stuck on yourself cause you done
- 5:13Speaker 2: made the wrong stuff. It's okay to forgive yourself. It's
- 5:17Speaker 2: okay to let yourself off the hook. It's even smarter
- 5:20Speaker 2: sometimes to admit that you were wrong. You ever met
- 5:23Speaker 2: somebody ain't ever wrong. Have you ever met somebody you
- 5:27Speaker 2: talk to? They ain't ever wrong about nothing. Man, They
- 5:30Speaker 2: just it's they way or the highway. It's this is
- 5:34Speaker 2: my way, this is the I know people like that,
- 5:36Speaker 2: stuck on them power trips and all like that. You
- 5:39Speaker 2: know what I had to learn how to do. I
- 5:41Speaker 2: had to learn how to let them go on them
- 5:43Speaker 2: power trips. But listen to this. Though you're not taking
- 5:45Speaker 2: me on that trip. Though you going on that trip
- 5:48Speaker 2: by yourself, I'm going in the right direction. I've decided
- 5:52Speaker 2: to stop the way. Okay, listen to this person. This person,
- 5:57Speaker 2: I decided to stop doing business the way I was
- 6:01Speaker 2: doing business. I decided to stop to allow business being
- 6:05Speaker 2: done around me, the way business was being done around me.
- 6:09Speaker 2: You know, the best decision I made was to allow
- 6:13Speaker 2: for God to have some say so and to offer
- 6:19Speaker 2: me his direction. I have found him to be a
- 6:23Speaker 2: better driver than anyone else I know. I have found
- 6:27Speaker 2: him to know more about the man he made than
- 6:33Speaker 2: anybody else who's merely associating with me. I have found
- 6:37Speaker 2: it to be a fact that my maker knows more
- 6:41Speaker 2: about the vehicle he created than does anybody else. If
- 6:46Speaker 2: your Chevy break, don't you take it to Chevy. You
- 6:49Speaker 2: don't take your Forward when it breaks down to a
- 6:52Speaker 2: Toyota dealership. They not gonna know everything that the Ford
- 6:56Speaker 2: dealership would know about the vehicle. You know why, because
- 6:59Speaker 2: they're not the maker of it. So now, why are
- 7:03Speaker 2: you letting You're letting your life being led, controlled and
- 7:07Speaker 2: guided by somebody other than your maker. I'm just asking
- 7:12Speaker 2: you to let's all take a common sense look at this. So,
- 7:16Speaker 2: if going to your maker is the best way, the
- 7:18Speaker 2: best decision I made in my business was take over
- 7:22Speaker 2: my brand myself and to allow the maker of this brand.
- 7:27Speaker 2: See without God, I'm none of this. I'm none of this.
- 7:30Speaker 2: I want you to clearly understand I ain't none of
- 7:33Speaker 2: this without him. I wish I could have the guts
- 7:37Speaker 2: to reach back there and pat myself on the back
- 7:40Speaker 2: for what I've accomplished in my life. I wish I
- 7:42Speaker 2: had the guts. I wish the nerve of me because
- 7:47Speaker 2: I know for a fact that there is no way
- 7:50Speaker 2: that I could have manufactured the life that I have.
- 7:53Speaker 2: I could not even have thought of it. It's no
- 7:56Speaker 2: way I could have told you that this was the
- 7:58Speaker 2: route I was gonna take, and this is the outcome
- 8:01Speaker 2: because of it. I had no idea, no clue. The
- 8:05Speaker 2: one thing I had, though, was an unshakable faith in God.
- 8:09Speaker 2: I had an un and I just kept believing in him.
- 8:15Speaker 2: I kept believing that he had something more for me.
- 8:19Speaker 2: And then when I touched base with him and asked
- 8:21Speaker 2: him to show me what it is what he had
- 8:23Speaker 2: for me, Tada, the magic show began. Because you know
- 8:28Speaker 2: what he did. He took all my natural abilities that
- 8:31Speaker 2: he had given to me, This gift that he gave me,
- 8:34Speaker 2: that he poured into me at birth, that same gift
- 8:37Speaker 2: that he poured into you at birth. The moment you
- 8:40Speaker 2: go to him and let him show you that gift,
- 8:43Speaker 2: and then guess what Once he takes what he naturally
- 8:47Speaker 2: put in you and put his super his superpowers on
- 8:51Speaker 2: top of that, then you have some supernatural things going
- 8:54Speaker 2: on in your life, and you may not be feeling me.
- 8:57Speaker 2: I'm cool with that, but I done have some supernatural
- 9:03Speaker 2: things happen to me. Every day I wake up some
- 9:07Speaker 2: supernatural the man, the rewards of my life, the awards
- 9:11Speaker 2: of my life, the accomplishments, the how I'm working, the
- 9:15Speaker 2: how I manage it all, all that ain't nothing but God.
- 9:18Speaker 2: That ain't nothing but God.
- 9:19Speaker 7: You can't even.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Explain this schedule to people. Sometimes when people ask me, Steve,
- 9:24Speaker 2: how do you do it? I go, well, this is
- 9:25Speaker 2: what I manage my time. Then at the end of
- 9:27Speaker 2: when I get through, I say, hey, man, you know
- 9:29Speaker 2: what I need to tell y'all for real, it's God.
- 9:31Speaker 2: I don't really know, but I'm letting him manage me.
- 9:34Speaker 2: So he handling it. He ain't gonna put no more
- 9:36Speaker 2: of me than I can bear. Listen to me, y'all,
- 9:39Speaker 2: don't be afraid to reinvent yourself and remember this. Don't
- 9:42Speaker 2: get stuck on yourself because you could be wrong. You know,
- 9:48Speaker 2: you absolutely could be wrong if you don't tie this
- 9:52Speaker 2: to your gift, you will be struggling the rest of
- 9:55Speaker 2: your life.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Shall.
- 10:00Speaker 2: All right, everybody, this is the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 2: I haven't really decided how I was gonna start the
- 10:06Speaker 2: show this morning, because you know, every morning I can't
- 10:08Speaker 2: take a different angle on it, and I just don't

- 15:11Speaker 9: But like I said, I've been working at the Spire
- 15:14Speaker 9: for five years and been on to research probably like
- 15:17Speaker 9: around three. And I guess what I really want to
- 15:21Speaker 9: say is that I didn't I didn't gain some feelings
- 15:24Speaker 9: for Tasha and oh whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa whoa.
- 15:28Speaker 8: Hold on, man, along holdo, you calling me, and you're
- 15:33Speaker 8: telling me right now you have feelings for my wife
- 15:36Speaker 8: who you work with, and you like her Teresa, because
- 15:39Speaker 8: that is my wife.
- 15:40Speaker 6: You have feelings for my wife.
- 15:41Speaker 9: Is that correct?
- 15:42Speaker 12: Yeah?
- 15:43Speaker 9: You know it took me a while to come forward
- 15:45Speaker 9: and say this, but you know I'm mad enough now
- 15:48Speaker 9: and I feel like me and you need to talk
- 15:49Speaker 9: about it.
- 15:50Speaker 6: Have you got your mind?
- 15:52Speaker 7: No?
- 15:52Speaker 9: No, I haven't.
- 15:53Speaker 6: Have you got your mind?
- 15:55Speaker 9: Now? Listen, I'm just letting you know. Today is the
- 15:57Speaker 9: day that I decided I'm not caring this weight on much.
- 16:00Speaker 9: There's no more. I'm getting it off of me, all right.
- 16:02Speaker 9: And at the end of the day, I love your
- 16:04Speaker 9: wife more than you do. What I I love your
- 16:10Speaker 9: wife more than you do.
- 16:13Speaker 6: Right? So you how long you've been loving my wife?
- 16:17Speaker 6: You tell me how long you've been loving my How
- 16:18Speaker 6: long you how long you feel that you have been
- 16:20Speaker 6: in love with my wife?
- 16:22Speaker 9: I mean I'm looking at I know, I know, I
- 16:24Speaker 9: know at least too.
- 16:26Speaker 6: Does my wife even know this?
- 16:28Speaker 9: I mean, I'm sure she's awarever to a certain extent,
- 16:32Speaker 9: to a certain extent. What what?
- 16:33Speaker 6: How how certain of the extent are we talking?
- 16:35Speaker 9: I mean, you know when we go to lunch together,
- 16:37Speaker 9: and she you know, I mean, I'm.
- 16:39Speaker 6: Sure you know y'all y'all were going to lunch together.
- 16:41Speaker 6: How long y'all been going to lunch together?
- 16:43Speaker 9: Bro, we were going to lunch together at least at
- 16:44Speaker 9: least two and a half years. I mean, we go
- 16:46Speaker 9: to lunch together almost every day. I mean, we might
- 16:48Speaker 9: miss the thing if she go with the girls and
- 16:50Speaker 9: I go with the fellas, so be it. But for
- 16:52Speaker 9: the most part, me and her, me and her pretty
- 16:54Speaker 9: much at lunch together. Yead, I need that.
- 16:57Speaker 6: Bro hell away from my wife.
- 17:01Speaker 14: Bro.

- 17:05Speaker 6: because you here to talk enough that you didn't talk

- 17:14Speaker 6: I don't want to hear none of that, nothing, nothing,
- 17:16Speaker 6: nothing at all, because come on.
- 17:19Speaker 9: We don't listen. Listen. I know all about you, trade
- 17:23Speaker 9: everything about it, all right. I already know how you
- 17:26Speaker 9: treat her.
- 17:27Speaker 3: All right.
- 17:29Speaker 15: I'm hot, right, I'm feeling like a strong sensation right

- 17:33Speaker 15: and just break your neck right now, That's.
- 17:36Speaker 6: What I really want to do. That's what I really
- 17:38Speaker 6: want to do. And why is my wife talking about
- 17:40Speaker 6: business outside of my road hole? That's what I'm trying
- 17:42Speaker 6: to figure out.
- 17:43Speaker 9: Hey, all I'm saying is when we go to lunch,
- 17:45Speaker 9: she let me know how she's feeling. She let me
- 17:46Speaker 9: know what she's going through, She let me know all that.
- 17:49Speaker 6: It stop with that lunch, bro, I don't want to
- 17:51Speaker 6: hear another damn thing about lunch. Bro, ain't no more lunch.
- 17:53Speaker 6: It's from here on out. Bro, I'm calling me talking
- 17:56Speaker 6: about you in wrong with my wife even taking work something.

- 18:03Speaker 7: What do you.
- 18:06Speaker 6: Man? Man?
- 18:07Speaker 9: Listen, calm down. With all that energy you got going
- 18:09Speaker 9: on like you're gonna.
- 18:10Speaker 6: Do something, I'm you're not coming down what you found

- 21:11Speaker 6: Show in the lane. It's a Steve Harvey morning show.
- 21:15Speaker 6: Gotta be.
- 21:18Speaker 7: We ain't got to praise it up in here. I'll
- 21:19Speaker 7: be back in another hour. You ain't got to give
- 21:21Speaker 7: me no praise. I already know.
- 21:22Speaker 13: It's to thinking of you coming up next to his.
- 21:25Speaker 13: Ask the COLO, or Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey back.
- 21:28Speaker 7: In the building.
- 21:32Speaker 16: When America needed hope, they delivered this Christmas. Discovered the
- 21:36Speaker 16: incredible true story of the sixth Triple Eight, the first
- 21:39Speaker 16: and only all black, all female battalion.
- 21:42Speaker 1: To serve overseas during World War Two.
- 21:45Speaker 16: Their mission to boost the morale of soldiers with a
- 21:48Speaker 16: little love from back home. With a powerhouse performance from
- 21:51Speaker 16: Kerrie Washington, the Sixth Triple.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Eight will inspire you and touch your heart.
- 21:56Speaker 16: Don't miss The Sixth Triple Eight, written and directed by
- 22:00Speaker 16: Tyler Perry, Watch only on Netflix December twentieth.
- 22:04Speaker 13: It is time to ask the CLO our Chief Love Officer,
- 22:09Speaker 13: Steve Harvey. Lacy and Sunrise says my husband cheated, and
- 22:13Speaker 13: we took a long break and got together last month.
- 22:17Speaker 13: Last night, my phone rang and I ignored it. My
- 22:20Speaker 13: husband accused me of being sneaky and I.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Haven't done a thing.
- 22:24Speaker 13: Is he paranoid about.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Me because he's the cheater?
- 22:27Speaker 2: Hell yeah, hell yeah, because he know if his phone
- 22:31Speaker 2: rang and he ignored, he know what that is, game
- 22:35Speaker 2: recognized game. So yeah, he's a little paranoid right now,
- 22:40Speaker 2: and as he should be. And don't try to make
- 22:42Speaker 2: him feel reassured. Let his ass hang out there so
- 22:46Speaker 2: he can see how I feel. That's all you got
- 22:48Speaker 2: to do. You ain't did nothing. Let his ass see
- 22:51Speaker 2: hide feel, leave him on out there.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Who I love that advice.
- 22:54Speaker 2: That is good for the male ego. And nothing like
- 22:58Speaker 2: when a woman says okay, okay, like you ever been
- 23:01Speaker 2: in a discussion with your woman at debate and then
- 23:03Speaker 2: she stop and go okay, suppose I did this to you,
- 23:07Speaker 2: what would you do?
- 23:09Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 23:10Speaker 1: It makes sense. Yep, there you have it all right.
- 23:15Speaker 13: Moving on to a Damien and Yonkers. Damien says, my
- 23:18Speaker 13: wife claims she found her Christmas present while she was
- 23:21Speaker 13: cleaning out the storage room. She's never cleaned it before,
- 23:25Speaker 13: so I know she was snooping thence she found it.
- 23:28Speaker 13: She said, I have to get her another gift?
- 23:30Speaker 1: Does that make sense?
- 23:32Speaker 3: Hell?
- 23:32Speaker 2: No, you ain't five. You ain't five. No, we all
- 23:40Speaker 2: know the real deal about Saturday Claus. You ain't five.
- 23:44Speaker 8: Huh.
- 23:45Speaker 2: You the doug around in there and found it. Now
- 23:47Speaker 2: you owe her another? Now, I don't make no damn sense.
- 23:50Speaker 2: You found your Christmas deal? Glad you tow it open?
- 23:54Speaker 2: Now what we could now. What we're gonna do is
- 23:56Speaker 2: we gonna rewrap it and put it in a box
- 23:59Speaker 2: under that tree. That's what we're gonna do. Yeah, And
- 24:03Speaker 2: you can play this any way you want to.
- 24:06Speaker 7: Get in my gifts before Christmas.
- 24:08Speaker 13: I'm not a snooper, all right. Moving on to Chanelle
- 24:11Speaker 13: in Chicago, Chanell writes, my boyfriend and I broke up
- 24:14Speaker 13: last month, and I ran into his cousin, who invited
- 24:17Speaker 13: me to his New Year's Eve party. I want to go,
- 24:20Speaker 13: but I don't want to risk seeing my ex there
- 24:22Speaker 13: with a new girl. So should I take a date
- 24:25Speaker 13: just in case? Or should I stay at home?
- 24:30Speaker 2: Now, let me explain some t interest. Yes, so many
- 24:34Speaker 2: New Year's Ease functions you can go too? Why would
- 24:38Speaker 2: you do that? To yourself.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Why why, Well, if she takes the day, she'll be
- 24:44Speaker 1: all right, Right.
- 24:46Speaker 2: You still might run up into him and his ex.
- 24:49Speaker 2: You see what I'm saying. Or yes, yeah, yeah, that's
- 24:54Speaker 2: what I meant to say. Yeah, you still go run
- 24:56Speaker 2: up into him and his potential new check. So you
- 24:59Speaker 2: have and the date ain't gonna fix it.
- 25:02Speaker 7: Where you feel a little more secure when you got
- 25:04Speaker 7: a date, you know, get you that's true.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Get go down to that hotel and buy yourself that
- 25:13Speaker 2: New Year's Eve package and go home. Get you a
- 25:15Speaker 2: date down there. Don't go to dude house. You ain't
- 25:19Speaker 2: gonna you ain't gonna enjoy. You're gonna get to drinking
- 25:22Speaker 2: and drink too much, and then you're gonna say it,
- 25:26Speaker 2: shut up.
- 25:31Speaker 7: It, Shut up there, me o the hold on her hand.
- 25:38Speaker 3: Hand go three.
- 25:43Speaker 7: I don't want to catch nobody but you I been. Yeah,
- 25:50Speaker 7: New Year, happy fool.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Yeah, you're gonna be a drunken mess lady, hair all
- 25:56Speaker 2: over your head and you took your shoes off, let
- 25:58Speaker 2: them in the corner. Forgot where you left them. Don't
- 26:00Speaker 2: do that, baby, gone down to the holiday inn. They
- 26:04Speaker 2: got the nice little packages. Fifty nine ninety five be
- 26:07Speaker 2: down there.
- 26:07Speaker 7: Two drinks.
- 26:09Speaker 1: Yeah, he said, all right, I'm just trying.
- 26:12Speaker 2: To fit it in the budget. So don't nobody think
- 26:14Speaker 2: I'm bullshy.
- 26:15Speaker 7: Oh okay, too late.
- 26:17Speaker 1: We already said that.
- 26:20Speaker 2: We're like, where is this that they come for? They
- 26:22Speaker 2: ain't got New Year's Eve package? Well, you know they
- 26:24Speaker 2: had a free Continental breakfast. They're gonna set that out
- 26:26Speaker 2: at midnight. Going upstairs to your room and stuff with
- 26:31Speaker 2: that low grade carpet, feel like you're walking on pile.
- 26:36Speaker 13: All right, moving on last one, Steve, This is from
- 26:39Speaker 13: Antonia in Pittsburgh. Antonia says, I'm thirty nine and my
- 26:43Speaker 13: husband is sixty seven, and he does not want me
- 26:47Speaker 13: to have a fortieth birthday party because his ex wife
- 26:50Speaker 13: and son don't know my age.
- 26:52Speaker 1: Why does he care what they think of me?
- 26:55Speaker 7: That's great, Still wearing my ex.
- 26:58Speaker 2: Wife and son y'all lost there in the same bill.
- 27:04Speaker 2: What kind of pole mess is this?
- 27:08Speaker 13: Yeah?
- 27:09Speaker 2: What difference do it make?
- 27:12Speaker 1: Exactly?
- 27:14Speaker 2: That's crazy. So you're the same age as his boy.
- 27:17Speaker 1: So so he doesn't want them to know how that
- 27:21Speaker 1: he's dating a much younger woman.
- 27:24Speaker 2: Well she don't. He don't want her to throw a party.
- 27:28Speaker 2: So but now let me ask you something. How close
- 27:30Speaker 2: are all they were? They gonna know this woman having
- 27:32Speaker 2: a party anyway? They all got to be in that
- 27:36Speaker 2: same circle complex something because other than that, why else
- 27:41Speaker 2: would they even know who this woman is? So obviously
- 27:44Speaker 2: they know this.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Woman well, especially his son.
- 27:48Speaker 7: That's dad's white.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Yeah, so he's gonna might.
- 27:52Speaker 2: Be See that's he don't want you to throw no
- 27:55Speaker 2: party because it ain't the age. He don't want them
- 27:57Speaker 2: to know.
- 27:57Speaker 9: Is she's you.
- 28:02Speaker 1: This particular woman you're saying, if they know who she is,
- 28:05Speaker 1: you know.
- 28:06Speaker 2: They done find out how old she is?
- 28:07Speaker 7: A woman.
- 28:08Speaker 2: Ain't a woman ain't gonna never not know all that infolk?
- 28:11Speaker 2: O woman gonna figure that out. So obviously they don't
- 28:15Speaker 2: know who she is. So I don't think the fear
- 28:18Speaker 2: is finding out who you are. I mean finding out
- 28:21Speaker 2: how old you are. I think it's finding out who
- 28:24Speaker 2: you are, because why else think about that for a
- 28:28Speaker 2: minute of y'all? Why else with the ex wife and
- 28:32Speaker 2: son even know this woman is forty? If she throw
- 28:36Speaker 2: the party, how they gonna know where the party at?
- 28:39Speaker 2: They got to know this girl.
- 28:43Speaker 16: Yeah, I guess for him, he's sixty seven, and theyin't
- 28:46Speaker 16: gonna be like, your wife is just forty.
- 28:48Speaker 2: Yeah, or check this out. Though they don't know this woman,
- 28:54Speaker 2: how do they know she's even gonna have a birthday party? Period?
- 29:01Speaker 13: They may not know her, but they know he's dating
- 29:03Speaker 13: some more gonna get out. Yeah, but they're married, she said,
- 29:06Speaker 13: my host, you're married?
- 29:11Speaker 7: How but see, how do they know it's gonna get
- 29:14Speaker 7: back to his side of the family?
- 29:17Speaker 3: They know this?
- 29:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean they're trying. If they knew this woman,
- 29:26Speaker 2: the ex wife would know how old she is. Oh,
- 29:28Speaker 2: you're gonna leave me for this helper and she gonna
- 29:30Speaker 2: be the blame. They don't know who she is. He
- 29:34Speaker 2: don't want to throw the party because he don't want
- 29:36Speaker 2: the word to get back, and then they find out
- 29:37Speaker 2: who she is. I think that's what's happened at the CLO.
- 29:42Speaker 8: Well.
- 29:43Speaker 2: I just think it ain't the age because how why
- 29:45Speaker 2: would they even know her?
- 29:48Speaker 12: All right?
- 29:48Speaker 7: Who knows?
- 29:49Speaker 3: All right?
- 29:50Speaker 16: Thank you, Celo, Good morning. This is your girl Carla
- 29:53Speaker 16: Farrell from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. And my favorite

- 32:46Speaker 3: I was the first. I would want to be the

- 34:01Speaker 7: Leo said that, and then and then you u sophagles
- 34:07Speaker 7: and Neil was talking.
- 34:09Speaker 2: And then that's when the teacher had asked me that
- 34:14Speaker 2: you know what's for Shakespeare? And I said, to be
- 34:18Speaker 2: listening to me, he is to not to be ever
- 34:25Speaker 2: the question.
- 34:25Speaker 8: I know what.
- 34:30Speaker 14: For me?
- 34:30Speaker 3: Then now you know what?
- 34:33Speaker 12: All right, all right, here we go one more to

- 35:08Speaker 2: I will be ready because I'm gonna be right here
- 35:10Speaker 2: and I ain't going nowhere because the Bible says in
- 35:14Speaker 2: uh ecleve astics Clive Astis in the fourteen and two.
- 35:21Speaker 7: That's what it says. That's what it says.
- 35:24Speaker 2: And you better know that we're looking at me because
- 35:28Speaker 2: the Bible says to look at the others, and you
- 35:31Speaker 2: would have him looking at you. We're not fitting to
- 35:39Speaker 2: be because we Christians in here show ass off of me.
- 35:45Speaker 2: Swe you know we were sitting there and then you know.
- 35:54Speaker 10: He lost the turn of that.
- 35:57Speaker 12: What they did?

- 47:08Speaker 14: Right, Oh, yeah, so that must have been a long
- 47:11Speaker 14: time ago. I sure did just have a baby.
- 47:14Speaker 6: She said.
- 47:14Speaker 14: This is Brian.
- 47:15Speaker 7: Yeah, Brian, congratulations. How many months is it not?
- 47:18Speaker 14: It's been three months since I've had him?
- 47:20Speaker 7: Okay, all right, well congratulations to you. Listen, we we're
- 47:24Speaker 7: putting together a pot luck Christmas party and we wanted
- 47:27Speaker 7: to invite you out.
- 47:29Speaker 14: Oh okay, is this some kind of surprise or something?
- 47:33Speaker 7: Well, you know what, I'm My job is to call
- 47:36Speaker 7: around since it's a pot luck and make sure we
- 47:39Speaker 7: get everybody to bring something. What I wanted to do
- 47:41Speaker 7: is I told her she should invite you her sister.
- 47:43Speaker 7: I'm sure your sister. I was just saying you probably
- 47:45Speaker 7: hadn't been able to get out since the baby, and
- 47:48Speaker 7: maybe you would want to get out a little bit.
- 47:49Speaker 14: Yeah you said that. I've been trapped in this house
- 47:52Speaker 14: with this baby. Oh and he Oh, he's such a
- 47:54Speaker 14: greedy baby. But yeah, I'm here a lot. This is
- 47:58Speaker 14: like my second child, and I'm telling you he was
- 48:00Speaker 14: nothing like the first one. But I haven't been out.
- 48:03Speaker 14: When is the party?
- 48:04Speaker 7: It's gonna be next week, next Friday, we're gonna throw
- 48:07Speaker 7: it and we're not trying to do anything too late,
- 48:09Speaker 7: probably around six o'clock. Everybody's gonna leave work a little early.
- 48:12Speaker 7: But we're gonna all bring a little something to contribute
- 48:15Speaker 7: to the party, you know, whatever type of food or
- 48:17Speaker 7: drinks or whatever. So we just wanted to reach out
- 48:19Speaker 7: and give you an invitation.
- 48:21Speaker 14: I just need to see if I can get a babysitter.
- 48:24Speaker 14: I haven't had to use a babysitter yet, but I'll try.
- 48:27Speaker 14: I'll do my best for me. It's my sister and
- 48:29Speaker 14: her friends, so i'd be glad to come. So you
- 48:31Speaker 14: said that it's pop luck. What are y'all bringing?
- 48:34Speaker 7: Well, some people are bringing finger food, some people are
- 48:37Speaker 7: bringing desserts, nachos and things like that. So I guess
- 48:41Speaker 7: a little bit of everything, and everybody's just in the
- 48:44Speaker 7: Christmas spirit. We just gonna have a good time.
- 48:46Speaker 14: Well, do I need to cook it myself? A can't
- 48:48Speaker 14: I just order something to have it delivered or something
- 48:50Speaker 14: like that. You know, I'm fool with this baby. I
- 48:52Speaker 14: can't get too much done while I'm here, but I'd
- 48:54Speaker 14: be glad to contribute.
- 48:55Speaker 7: Uh. Well, actually we're interested in getting some egg nog.
- 49:00Speaker 14: Yeah, I can. Probably I could send my husband out
- 49:02Speaker 14: to get something because you know, lan's just fooled. A
- 49:04Speaker 14: specialty shop. They make some good homemade ignog. I could
- 49:08Speaker 14: do eggnogs.
- 49:09Speaker 7: Well, well, hang on, we didn't. We didn't want anything
- 49:11Speaker 7: from a specialty shop. We're real particular about having good eggnog.
- 49:16Speaker 7: We've always had good eggnog every year when we throw
- 49:18Speaker 7: the big pot luck Christmas party. We wanted to see
- 49:21Speaker 7: if you didn't mind making some eggnog from scratch. But
- 49:24Speaker 7: you know, if you if you could really really help
- 49:26Speaker 7: us out, uh, you know, using using the breast milk
- 49:30Speaker 7: to do it.
- 49:31Speaker 14: Well, they make the best milk over there. I know
- 49:33Speaker 14: they used whole milk. Sometimes they use that butter cream milk.
- 49:36Speaker 14: You know what I should get my aunt to make
- 49:38Speaker 14: because she got a real good recipe and I know
- 49:40Speaker 14: she us the best milk as I can get.
- 49:42Speaker 15: Her to make some.
- 49:43Speaker 6: Is that? Okay?
- 49:43Speaker 7: Okay, so your mom has what kind of milk?
- 49:46Speaker 14: My ain't? She makes the best eggnog. And I know
- 49:50Speaker 14: she used like whole milk and buttermilk and stuff. That's
- 49:52Speaker 14: what I was thinking.
- 49:55Speaker 7: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, we want some
- 49:57Speaker 7: breast milk, not the best best milk. We want breast
- 50:01Speaker 7: aren't you breastfeeding?
- 50:03Speaker 9: You?
- 50:03Speaker 14: You say breast as in b r east breast milk.
- 50:07Speaker 7: Breast milk.
- 50:08Speaker 9: Yes, yes, Wait a minute, wait a minute.
- 50:10Speaker 14: Yeah, I'm breastfeeding. But breast milk is for babies. Adult
- 50:13Speaker 14: people don't supposed to drink that. If you if you
- 50:15Speaker 14: not no infant, you're not supposed.
- 50:16Speaker 7: To be milk. Breast milk is the best milk. See,
- 50:19Speaker 7: so what we was trying to do is get it.
- 50:21Speaker 7: Get the eggnog made with breast milk, and that's what
- 50:24Speaker 7: we want.
- 50:25Speaker 14: Brian, you say your name is Brian.
- 50:27Speaker 7: Yes, I'm Brian.
- 50:27Speaker 14: Okay, Brian, you must be white because because black folks
- 50:31Speaker 14: don't drink breast milk. That's for babies. Okay, I am
- 50:35Speaker 14: not making eggnog with breast milk. Now, breast milk is
- 50:40Speaker 14: now what you get that is for my newborn infant.
- 50:43Speaker 14: That sounds nasty, unstounded. Why would I do that to
- 50:46Speaker 14: other people? Have to have somebody to do?
- 50:48Speaker 7: I mean, is there a way you can like pump
- 50:50Speaker 7: out two gallons for us?
- 50:51Speaker 14: I mean, just what we're about to end this conversation
- 50:53Speaker 14: that is not something I'm about to do, Okay. I
- 50:57Speaker 14: am not pumping milk for some Christmas party.
- 51:02Speaker 6: That that is nasty.
- 51:04Speaker 14: Okay, somebody gonna call it the health's apartment On y'all
- 51:06Speaker 14: bring up milk up there to make some egnogs? What
- 51:10Speaker 14: doesn't we don't do that? This ain't no feet of
- 51:14Speaker 14: village with my milk.
- 51:15Speaker 1: You know what, ma'am?
- 51:16Speaker 7: I mean, I don't know. I wasn't trying to offend you.
- 51:19Speaker 7: I just wanted to see if if it was something
- 51:21Speaker 7: that you would do for us. You know, maybe you could.
- 51:23Speaker 7: You could squeeze out a couple of gallons and we could.
- 51:26Speaker 14: I'm past offended. I ain't squeezing out a table store
- 51:29Speaker 14: of breast milk to be donating to some Christmas party?
- 51:34Speaker 6: Does that?
- 51:35Speaker 7: Okay?
- 51:35Speaker 19: Yeah?
- 51:35Speaker 14: You got me. You need to tell Keith. First of all,
- 51:38Speaker 14: I don't even know why ever gave you my number
- 51:40Speaker 14: to invite me to some She couldn't have She couldn't
- 51:42Speaker 14: have known you're gonna ask me to make some damn
- 51:44Speaker 14: eggnog with real breast.
- 51:45Speaker 7: Miss I didn't. I didn't. I didn't tell Keith exactly
- 51:47Speaker 7: what I wanted, but I didn't think it was gonna
- 51:49Speaker 7: be this much of a problem that you would have
- 51:51Speaker 7: a problem with a couple of gallons so we could
- 51:53Speaker 7: have a good time with real good milk.
- 51:55Speaker 14: Well, Brian, y'all work in corporate America. Surely you are
- 51:59Speaker 14: smarter than that to be calling somebody asking for some
- 52:02Speaker 14: breast milk? Who does that? What you can do if
- 52:05Speaker 14: you want some eggnow, you could stop at the grocery
- 52:07Speaker 14: sto get you some infa milor some similar and make
- 52:09Speaker 14: some ignog yourself if that's what you choose to do.
- 52:12Speaker 14: But my breast milk, you can't even pay for it? Okay,
- 52:15Speaker 14: I don't get down like that. That's some if I
- 52:17Speaker 14: ever heard of it. You two, It tells you be
- 52:19Speaker 14: calling around asking people for milk.
- 52:22Speaker 7: Does Oh you're gonna be this selfish that you can't
- 52:25Speaker 7: loan us a little bit of breast milk so we
- 52:27Speaker 7: can have a great time with some eggnog.
- 52:28Speaker 2: At the party.
- 52:30Speaker 14: Selfish loans that breast milk?
- 52:34Speaker 7: Okay, you know what? You know what concerned? Don't wry about.
- 52:36Speaker 7: We don't even want you at the party. If you
- 52:37Speaker 7: ain't gonna bring the breast milk, then don't come to
- 52:38Speaker 7: the party.
- 52:39Speaker 14: Damn right, I don't need to come here on a
- 52:40Speaker 14: sunky party. And you tell Keiva this is some st
- 52:43Speaker 14: even have her friend call me.
- 52:45Speaker 7: I am the party coordinator, and Keiva knows that that's
- 52:48Speaker 7: and I try to be nice enough to invite you.
- 52:50Speaker 14: I'm offended. I am offended. Okay, would you ask your
- 52:53Speaker 14: wife or your girlfriend or whoever your baby mom is
- 52:56Speaker 14: to do something like that? Would you expect somebody to
- 52:58Speaker 14: ask her? You're just respecting me asking me for some
- 53:01Speaker 14: like that. Okay, you know what, Brian, what is your
- 53:04Speaker 14: last name? Because I'm failing to remember who you are
- 53:06Speaker 14: because I'm sure gonna.
- 53:07Speaker 7: Ask keep well, Brian, Brian ain't really my name. I

- 56:22Speaker 1: Thank you, nephew.
- 56:23Speaker 13: Subject hip hopping Granny. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm a forty
- 56:27Speaker 13: six year old married woman with two teenagers. My husband
- 56:30Speaker 13: and I love all types of music, but hip hop
- 56:33Speaker 13: and rap will forever be my favorite type of music.
- 56:36Speaker 13: I was an only child and I spent a lot
- 56:39Speaker 13: of time with my grandmother when I was a little girl.
- 56:42Speaker 13: My grandmother loved rap music, so I grew up knowing
- 56:45Speaker 13: the lyrics to songs and writing around with music blasting
- 56:49Speaker 13: out of her car. My mother was a wild woman,
- 56:51Speaker 13: and rightfully so, since she had me when she was
- 56:54Speaker 13: eighteen years old. My grandmother was all for my mother, dating,
- 56:58Speaker 13: going out to clubs, traveling, and having a life despite
- 57:01Speaker 13: being a young mom.
- 57:03Speaker 1: I'm nothing like that now with my teenagers.
- 57:05Speaker 13: That wild type of lifestyle work for my mother back
- 57:08Speaker 13: in the day because it was a safer time and
- 57:11Speaker 13: there was no social media to track everything you did.
- 57:14Speaker 13: My daughter is sixteen and she is always at my
- 57:18Speaker 13: grandmother's house, which is her great grandma. She loves it
- 57:21Speaker 13: over there because her great grandma is still young at
- 57:24Speaker 13: heart and still loves rap music. She knows the words
- 57:27Speaker 13: to all the latest rap songs, and she's got her
- 57:30Speaker 13: microbraides done and lots of makeup on. Usually everyone loves her,
- 57:34Speaker 13: but my mother and I think her lifestyle is a
- 57:37Speaker 13: bit excessive. I found out that she's letting my daughter
- 57:40Speaker 13: meet up with boys at her house, and my husband
- 57:43Speaker 13: has talked with her about respecting our rules for our children.
- 57:47Speaker 13: I love that my teenagers call her the hip hopping Granny,
- 57:51Speaker 13: and it's a blessing to have their great grandma in
- 57:53Speaker 13: their lives. But she just does too much all of
- 57:57Speaker 13: the time. How do I convince an eighty two year
- 57:59Speaker 13: old woman to stop negatively influencing my children?
- 58:03Speaker 1: Please help well, hip hop and granny. Yeah, that's the subject.
- 58:10Speaker 13: Well, this one is not easy because you know, your
- 58:12Speaker 13: grand is eighty two years old, and you know, it
- 58:15Speaker 13: is hard to tell an eighty two year old what
- 58:18Speaker 13: to do period on any level. I mean, they feel
- 58:21Speaker 13: like they've lived their lives and you can't tell them anything.
- 58:24Speaker 1: They've earned the right.
- 58:25Speaker 13: I don't care if it's your child, you're talking about her,
- 58:28Speaker 13: whatever it is, that's just how they feel at that age.
- 58:30Speaker 13: You can't run granny's house. And I'm sure you've even
- 58:33Speaker 13: heard this before. You know, this is my house, my house,
- 58:37Speaker 13: my rules. Okay, you've talked to your grandmother, I'm sure,
- 58:41Speaker 13: and you said your husband has talked to her about
- 58:43Speaker 13: it about you know, respecting the rules that you have
- 58:45Speaker 13: for your children. And I know you're most concerned about
- 58:50Speaker 13: the boys, and you should be concerned, but.
- 58:53Speaker 12: You gotta.
- 58:55Speaker 13: I just say, you gotta trust it. Just because your
- 58:57Speaker 13: grandmother is young at hard and she listens to wrap
- 59:01Speaker 13: and she wears micro braides that you know, you got
- 59:04Speaker 13: to think that she's not irresponsible when it comes to
- 59:07Speaker 13: your kids and her great grandkids. I think she's paying
- 59:12Speaker 13: attention to what's going on in her house, and that's
- 59:14Speaker 13: probably why she lets the boys come over there to
- 59:17Speaker 13: the house so she can see what they're gonna do,
- 59:19Speaker 13: so she can see what's going on. I mean, you
- 59:22Speaker 13: spent a lot of time with your grandmother, and yes,
- 59:24Speaker 13: times were different then, but you turned out fine. You
- 59:27Speaker 13: spend a lot of time at your granny's house. Times
- 59:31Speaker 13: are different, and your grandmother hasn't changed. Times may have changed,
- 59:36Speaker 13: but your grandmother hasn't changed. I think you need to
- 59:38Speaker 13: stay involved like you've been doing, keep the lines of
- 59:40Speaker 13: communication open, or you know, your other alternative is to
- 59:45Speaker 13: ban the kids from going over there, and I don't
- 59:47Speaker 13: think you want to do that.
- 59:48Speaker 1: I mean, you know, those are the choices.
- 59:50Speaker 13: But I think if you keep the communication open, let
- 59:52Speaker 13: the grandmother know what you what you will and won't do.
- 59:56Speaker 1: You know, as far as your children go, I think
- 59:58Speaker 1: it'll be okay.
- 59:59Speaker 9: But do it.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: She is eighty two years old, Steve.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: Your grandmama too damn old for this. Make this announcement clear.
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: Your grandmama is too damn old for this. Now, let
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: me explain something to you. I first got introduced to
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: hip hop in nineteen seventy seven. I'm not saying that's
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: when it was born I'm saying that's when I was
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: introduced to it. Hip hop, hotel, hippity, hip hop, to hop,
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: to hop. I said when I heard it played at
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: a party, why are they playing this? But it's okay,
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: this won't last long because ain't nobody singing?
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: You said that.
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: That's what my dumb ass said when I first heard it,
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: quill dot, this ain't gonna last They not even saying,
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: ain'tybody fitna do this here? That was my prediction for
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: hip hop. Hip Hop has turned out to be the
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: single largest music generre ever created. It's that big Jesus.
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: They have created more millionaires. I gotta take my hat
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: off to hip hop. They've done some great things. They've
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: gone in the wrong direction over the years, gangster rap
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: and stuff like that, but overall, hip hop has created
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: a bunch of millionaires. They've created some creative mind. That
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: was in nineteen seventy seven. I was exactly twenty years
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: old when I first heard it, And I'm not saying
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: that's when hip hop was born. Was probably born before that.
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: But when hit the radio waves and it came down
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: to Ohio, I was twenty, I predicted the demise of
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: it showed what I know about hip hop, the culture
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: that is becoming. But your grandmama is too damn old.
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: But to help your grandmother out. When I come back,
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: Sister O'Dell will be here, Oh Lord, to deal with
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: this letter and any questions anybody might have to the
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: great grandmother whose Sister Odell knows because Sister O'Dell was
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: her Sunday school teacher. Come on, wow, we were here
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: from Sister O'Dell when we come back concerning this letter.
- 1:02:35Speaker 13: Okay, we'll have part two of today's Strawberry Letter coming

- 1:03:29Speaker 13: The subject hip hopping Granny nay and I was just
- 1:03:34Speaker 13: gonna read to understand sister Odell is here, but your said, Steve.
- 1:03:39Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, I see, Shelley.
- 1:03:41Speaker 19: You heard him say that when we came back, Sweety,
- 1:03:45Speaker 19: that I was going to be here, but he didn't
- 1:03:48Speaker 19: us right on and just said Steve, Well, Steve is
- 1:03:52Speaker 19: going fdy, Steve is not eighty two?
- 1:03:55Speaker 12: What did he know?
- 1:03:58Speaker 10: You need somebody with some expertise.

- 1:04:08Speaker 19: Mississippi with the mouth and you're a pretty little big forehead,
- 1:04:13Speaker 19: darl Hey Junior.
- 1:04:15Speaker 7: Deal Thomas, Hi boy, Yes, ma'am, good morning, Good morning,
- 1:04:20Speaker 7: says Sotel.
- 1:04:21Speaker 12: Good good good.
- 1:04:22Speaker 19: Now, let's just get on into this and explain to
- 1:04:25Speaker 19: me this matter. What pieces is y'all not clear on
- 1:04:28Speaker 19: Shirley Carlin.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: Well anybody, sister Otell. But the title is hip hop
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: and granny.
- 1:04:36Speaker 10: And that's that's stupid right there.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: We title subjects, you know, like she hated too.
- 1:04:44Speaker 19: Now you can be a hip hop grandfather like my age,
- 1:04:47Speaker 19: because hip hop day was round that inn, you know,
- 1:04:50Speaker 19: brain master flash all them peoples.
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: Uh.
- 1:04:54Speaker 19: But if you hated two, you was they mommy and
- 1:04:56Speaker 19: daddy trying to stay up with them.
- 1:04:58Speaker 7: Now they ain't make no sense.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: Yeah, this woman wrote the letter. It's about her grandmother.
- 1:05:05Speaker 7: Okay.
- 1:05:06Speaker 13: She her grandmother raised her pretty much because she said
- 1:05:09Speaker 13: her own mother was kind of wild.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: She was a young woman and she had her at eighteen.
- 1:05:15Speaker 7: So she said, what we're gonna stop the wideness.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: Well, it's it's kind of stopped.
- 1:05:20Speaker 13: It's kind of stopped as far as the mother and
- 1:05:22Speaker 13: the grandmother are concerned. It's the great grandmother that's the issue.
- 1:05:26Speaker 13: The oh Harald, eighty two year old names eighty.
- 1:05:32Speaker 19: Two hip hop grand and the set up and put
- 1:05:34Speaker 19: some micro bathes in her hair.
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: I don't know what the braids was hanging on to, sister.
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: I'm shot house a brute down. I'm gonna tell you
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: right now, if you eighty two trying to put some
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: braids in your hair, you're finna pull one little bit
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: you got, You're.
- 1:05:48Speaker 7: Finna put it right out. Your hate.
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: The roots don't stay long at eighty two. There ain't
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: no strong roots day up there, but you can't go
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: yanking on them.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: She said, micro brade. She didn't say anything about a
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: lace front, sister of death.
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: What I'm saying you got to attach to Michael Bage
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: to something something.
- 1:06:08Speaker 7: No, you've been wearing a Hall of Baby haircut for
- 1:06:10Speaker 7: a long time. You don't know the ruse of head design.
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: Oh oh, so you don't have a lot of hair,
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: so you just need to stay off of this. I don't,
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: I don't. I have a short haircut.
- 1:06:19Speaker 7: That's right, You've always had that. You've never tried braids.
- 1:06:22Speaker 7: You will.
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: Tried to attract Steve when you first got on the
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: radio and you wore them afro to work, and you
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: didn't know it was a bit turn off to him.
- 1:06:31Speaker 7: He didn't know.
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: He didn't care for the afro puffs at all that
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: you WoT with your little tight dress on that day.
- 1:06:37Speaker 13: Okay, this letter is not about me, and you told
- 1:06:39Speaker 13: me already that Steve is gone, all right, So let's
- 1:06:42Speaker 13: get back to the letter. Eighty two year old great grandmother.
- 1:06:46Speaker 13: The mother is or the granddaughter is concerned that the
- 1:06:49Speaker 13: grandmother is negatively influencing her sixteen year old well she is.
- 1:06:52Speaker 7: If she's letting the baby bring boys over to the house.
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: You don't do that with no little girl that's.
- 1:06:58Speaker 19: Sixteen bringing Oh it's to the house, right, That ain't right.
- 1:07:04Speaker 19: Not a great grandmama need to get herself together. You
- 1:07:07Speaker 19: can listen to the music, but you can't. You can't
- 1:07:09Speaker 19: raise kids to the music.
- 1:07:11Speaker 13: Yeah, you know, yeah, the parents have spoken to the
- 1:07:14Speaker 13: great grandmother about this.
- 1:07:17Speaker 7: Well you can you speaking to her.
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: You can do more than that.
- 1:07:19Speaker 7: Cut she hated too.
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: Shit letting the baby go over there, or that organ
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: play in the background. Noise that boy's whipping that. You know,
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: that's a hamm in organ.
- 1:07:39Speaker 7: Turn it up. Turn it up, Davis, a little bit,
- 1:07:44Speaker 7: a lot.
- 1:07:45Speaker 8: Of Davis.
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: When you get distracted.
- 1:08:06Speaker 14: I know.
- 1:08:16Speaker 12: He feeling like, yeah, thank you Davis.
- 1:08:26Speaker 3: David my art.
- 1:08:30Speaker 12: That boy right there.
- 1:08:31Speaker 19: You know, for a white boy, he sure knows how
- 1:08:33Speaker 19: to jump in at the right time. He must have
- 1:08:35Speaker 19: been raised in the negro case. He said, yes, ma'am, sister,
- 1:08:42Speaker 19: I know I know it when I see it to somebody.
- 1:08:44Speaker 19: There's some Negroes in his family somewhere.
- 1:08:47Speaker 10: But you can't say black.
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: You got some somebody was pulling him off to the
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: side working with him and me got weighed too.
- 1:08:54Speaker 7: Much soul for that.
- 1:08:55Speaker 19: I seen him my Steves off saying this soul event.
- 1:08:58Speaker 19: One time table full of black girls was over there here.
- 1:09:01Speaker 19: Want of toenails were trainy black. I said, this is
- 1:09:03Speaker 19: a tricky little white boy right here. Just one of
- 1:09:08Speaker 19: his toenails, one of them was black, and he had
- 1:09:11Speaker 19: any ring on. He would bind ranks for them, sisters.
- 1:09:14Speaker 19: I started to slide over there, my sam, I said,
- 1:09:16Speaker 19: well all right now.
- 1:09:21Speaker 7: A well anyway, yeah, just to it over.
- 1:09:25Speaker 19: If you're eighty two years old, you need that you age,
- 1:09:28Speaker 19: not your shoe size here.
- 1:09:31Speaker 10: Yes, can't carry your.
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: People wrapped up if you get out there and to
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: want to pull some vinegar on the brown paper bag
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: and wrap.
- 1:09:40Speaker 10: It up in your throat.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: Listen, we gotta go. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: Morning Show.
- 1:09:48Speaker 16: When America needed hope, they delivered this Christmas discovered the
- 1:09:52Speaker 16: incredible true story of the sixth Triple Eight, the first
