- 2:18Speaker 2: It is.
- 2:19Speaker 8: Did you know that there is a life for you
- 2:24Speaker 8: that's greater than you could have ever dreamed of? Did
- 2:30Speaker 8: you know that there's a life for you better than
- 2:32Speaker 8: the one you've ever felt before? And did you know
- 2:37Speaker 8: that there was a life for you much bigger than
- 2:42Speaker 8: the one you wanted? And lastly, did you know that
- 2:48Speaker 8: what I just said is true? Did you know that?
- 2:54Speaker 8: Did you know that the things I just said are
- 2:57Speaker 8: available to you? It's not just intended for those who
- 3:04Speaker 8: receive awards. It's for everybody. Yeah, you two, It's for
- 3:14Speaker 8: you who didn't get your high school diploma. It's for
- 3:20Speaker 8: you who are incarcerated. It's for you who have two strikes.
- 3:30Speaker 8: It's for you who've been sentenced to life. It's for
- 3:36Speaker 8: you who've gotten out and have a felony record and
- 3:39Speaker 8: can't seem to get it together.
- 3:40Speaker 2: It's for you.
- 3:44Speaker 8: Who have an illness. It's for you who the doctors
- 3:49Speaker 8: have given up on. It's for you. This life i'm
- 3:54Speaker 8: talking about is for you.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Did you know.
- 4:01Speaker 8: That there's a life for you better than the one
- 4:04Speaker 8: you dreamed about, better than the one you've imagined, a
- 4:08Speaker 8: life better than the one you thought of, That there's
- 4:11Speaker 8: a life for you better than the one you've ever
- 4:13Speaker 8: felt before. There's a life for you better than the
- 4:18Speaker 8: one you saw for yourself. There's a better life for
- 4:21Speaker 8: you than the one you expected and even the one
- 4:24Speaker 8: you wanted. Did you know that this is true for you? See,
- 4:31Speaker 8: here's let me give you the secret to this thing.
- 4:34Speaker 8: Now you have to believe that it is for you. Now,
- 4:40Speaker 8: you gotta fight through the doubts. You gotta fight through
- 4:44Speaker 8: the wheel of satan, because the devil is busy man.
- 4:46Speaker 8: The devil wants you to think that it's hopeless. The
- 4:49Speaker 8: devil wants you to think that this is it. The
- 4:52Speaker 8: devil wants you to think that ain't no more to it.
- 4:55Speaker 8: The devil wants you to think that this applies to
- 4:57Speaker 8: other people. But you, yeah, you've been dealt with worse
- 5:00Speaker 8: hand of them all, which you ate. But that's what
- 5:02Speaker 8: the devil wants you to think. So you gotta fight through. Now,
- 5:05Speaker 8: You gotta fight through to get to what I just
- 5:08Speaker 8: said is available for you. But what else you got
- 5:11Speaker 8: to do? You ain't doing nothing else, might as well fight.
- 5:14Speaker 8: Why just wake up and just let it be? Why
- 5:17Speaker 8: would you wake up every day and just exist when
- 5:20Speaker 8: there's a chance for you to actually live. See the
- 5:23Speaker 8: reason I don't mind smiling so much now is because
- 5:26Speaker 8: I'm no longer existing. I'm living now.
- 5:29Speaker 2: See. See, that's what you want to get to.
- 5:32Speaker 8: You don't want to exist to wake up paycheck to paycheck,
- 5:36Speaker 8: date today, not knowing, not understanding, not have and can't
- 5:40Speaker 8: can't get this, can't get that, can't go here, can't
- 5:43Speaker 8: go there, Gotta wait, gota wait, gota wait, goda wait
- 5:47Speaker 8: till it seems like you never get nowhere. You can
- 5:49Speaker 8: get out of that rut of life feeling like when
- 5:52Speaker 8: you wake up in the morning that your life is whole.
- 5:54Speaker 8: Hume that you just in a rut.
- 5:56Speaker 2: I drive the same way to work. I do the
- 5:59Speaker 2: same thing on my job.
- 6:00Speaker 8: When I get off, I drive all the way back home.
- 6:03Speaker 2: I sit there, I.
- 6:04Speaker 8: Read the newspaper. I watered the lawn. I'm so sick
- 6:08Speaker 8: of my life. It ain't this, ain't what I wanted. Man,
- 6:11Speaker 8: and start wak up, start over, do the same thing.
- 6:14Speaker 8: Then the weekend gets in. You got to mold the lawn,
- 6:17Speaker 8: and then you try to fix something in the garage
- 6:19Speaker 8: and you feel like your life is in a rut.
- 6:21Speaker 8: I'm talking about if this feels like a rut to you,
- 6:23Speaker 8: and if it's what you've always wanted, I'm cool with that.
- 6:26Speaker 2: But I'm talking to people.
- 6:27Speaker 8: Who want it more, who would love their life to
- 6:31Speaker 8: be more, who would love their life too different to
- 6:33Speaker 8: be different. And I'm not criticizing you if I just
- 6:36Speaker 8: described your life. I'm just only talking to the ones
- 6:41Speaker 8: who would dad to believe that there's more to it
- 6:44Speaker 8: than this. I'm only talking to the ones who would
- 6:48Speaker 8: dad to accept the challenge, to fight through and see
- 6:52Speaker 8: what God got for you instead of listening to Satan
- 6:55Speaker 8: all the time. Devil is busy man. Please understand, he's
- 6:58Speaker 8: so busy, so busy, try to trick you, get you
- 7:01Speaker 8: into the groove. You know they doing all kinds of stuff. Now, man,
- 7:06Speaker 8: you know atheists and already got prayer taken out of schools.
- 7:09Speaker 8: Excuse me, look at our skills schools, not as a
- 7:12Speaker 8: push by the atheists to get the words in God
- 7:14Speaker 8: we trust, taking off our money. Here's a deal. If
- 7:16Speaker 8: you don't believe in God, and you don't want trust
- 7:18Speaker 8: in God, just going about your business. But what you
- 7:20Speaker 8: can't do is spill off all into what I'm talking about.
- 7:24Speaker 8: That's the problem I have with all of them. If
- 7:26Speaker 8: you're gonna do you, then't do you, but don't spill
- 7:28Speaker 8: off into what I got.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Now. See, if you don't believe what I'm saying, then
- 7:32Speaker 2: I ain't talking to you.
- 7:33Speaker 8: Let's just be clear about the relationship with Steve Harvey
- 7:36Speaker 8: and his crew. I'm only talking to the people that
- 7:39Speaker 8: believe that are looking for something else, that want something more,
- 7:43Speaker 8: that wants something better, that's got to be out there
- 7:47Speaker 8: searching and hoping and trying to do more. That's all
- 7:50Speaker 8: I'm talking to now. If you don't believe what I'm saying,
- 7:54Speaker 8: is true. Didn't go ahead, try it your way, Go
- 7:55Speaker 8: see write me, email me, let me know how it's
- 7:58Speaker 8: going for you. I'm telling you of a way that's
- 8:01Speaker 8: tried and true. If you go to God, if you
- 8:04Speaker 8: go to your creator, your maker, if you go to
- 8:07Speaker 8: him and you go to him for real and tell him, hey,
- 8:12Speaker 8: you know what, I want you to go ahead and
- 8:15Speaker 8: take over from here.
- 8:16Speaker 2: I'm done.
- 8:17Speaker 8: I'd have done all I know how to do out
- 8:20Speaker 8: of tried everything I know how to try. I'm sick
- 8:22Speaker 8: of me right now. Hey, look here, you created me
- 8:25Speaker 8: what you want me to do, and you had the
- 8:27Speaker 8: cool thing about it. When I made that decision, y'all. See,
- 8:30Speaker 8: I was so afraid for years that I was going
- 8:32Speaker 8: to miss out on something if I did that. I
- 8:34Speaker 8: couldn't do this no more. But the stuff I needed
- 8:36Speaker 8: to stop doing. I really need to stop the things
- 8:39Speaker 8: I was afraid of not being able to do anymore,
- 8:41Speaker 8: with the very same things I really didn't need to
- 8:43Speaker 8: be doing no more in the first place. On the
- 8:46Speaker 8: real man, on the real all that temporary fun I
- 8:50Speaker 8: was having all them temporary outlets. I was using all
- 8:54Speaker 8: them temporary things trying to fulfill myself.
- 8:57Speaker 2: I was doing.
- 8:57Speaker 8: I was just doing a bunch of temporary mess man.
- 9:00Speaker 8: I said, hold up, man, I want something permanent. Man,
- 9:03Speaker 8: I want a permanent feeling in my heart that it's
- 9:06Speaker 8: gonna be all right. So he replaced all that fun
- 9:09Speaker 8: with joy. But it was only because I went and
- 9:12Speaker 8: I faced him. He didn't take me and stopped me
- 9:15Speaker 8: from being me.
- 9:17Speaker 2: He just made a better version of me.
- 9:19Speaker 8: See, God, don't take he because all the stuff he
- 9:22Speaker 8: sent you through, he needed you to go through all him.
- 9:25Speaker 8: He needed you to have him experience of what it
- 9:26Speaker 8: felt like to be locked up. He needed you to
- 9:29Speaker 8: have experience and know what it was to lose everything.
- 9:31Speaker 8: He needed you to have experience to make you tough.
- 9:35Speaker 8: You just gonna be a tough one. I'm a tough
- 9:38Speaker 8: soldier in his army, that's all.
- 9:40Speaker 2: I just say.
- 9:40Speaker 8: One of the weak ones. I protect the weak ones.
- 9:45Speaker 8: God didn't take a lot of stuff from me, except
- 9:48Speaker 8: the stuff I needed. But the stuff he made me
- 9:50Speaker 8: to be, he allowed me to keep it, and he
- 9:53Speaker 8: just made a better of me.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Do that, y'all, and you can have what you wanting.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Show ladies and jail. Let me have it, all of it.
- 10:08Speaker 8: Your undivided attention, Today is a blessing. Today is another
- 10:15Speaker 8: gift from God. Have you thanked him for it yet?
- 10:19Speaker 8: Have you told him how much you just appreciate the
- 10:22Speaker 8: thing of waking up. Waking up is not a simple thing.
- 10:26Speaker 8: It's the biggest thing in your day, because imagine what
- 10:29Speaker 8: it would be like if you didn't guess what ain't
- 10:33Speaker 8: no day.
- 10:35Speaker 2: It's a great way to look at it.
- 10:37Speaker 8: Man, If the biggest thing in your life is waking up, course,
- 10:43Speaker 8: when you don't, you.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Ain't got no more life.
- 10:46Speaker 7: Man, it is a.
- 10:48Speaker 8: Blessing to be here. I know you may be grieving
- 10:50Speaker 8: the loss of someone, and Lord knows I know how
- 10:53Speaker 8: that is. But the upside to it is God kept you.
- 10:59Speaker 8: I knew a girl or a friend of mine whose
- 11:01Speaker 8: wife lost her mom and she was really struggling with him.
- 11:04Speaker 8: Was just questioning God and thinking about not going on.
- 11:07Speaker 8: And he said, hey, man, my wife is really struggling
- 11:10Speaker 8: with the loss of a mom. And I said, man,
- 11:13Speaker 8: do I know what you're talking about? And do I
- 11:15Speaker 8: know some people I work with that know what you're
- 11:17Speaker 8: talking about? I said, that's a rough He said, what
- 11:21Speaker 8: can I tell her? I said, you have to stay
- 11:24Speaker 8: in there, because eventually you were thinking, remember all the
- 11:26Speaker 8: good things that they did, and sometimes you'll even smile
- 11:29Speaker 8: about them. I said, but right now you're hurting and
- 11:32Speaker 8: you got to get through that part of it. Ask
- 11:34Speaker 8: God for strength. She said, she did, and he didn't.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Give it to her. I said, ain't she still here?
- 11:40Speaker 2: He gave it to her.
- 11:41Speaker 8: She just didn't recognize what it was because she ain't
- 11:43Speaker 8: never seen it before.
- 11:46Speaker 2: God is good.
- 11:51Speaker 8: Somebody sent me a blind text and said, hey, Steve,
- 11:54Speaker 8: where your God at now?
- 11:56Speaker 2: Just to respond to you, sir.
- 11:59Speaker 8: I have a kind of eye dear who it was,
- 12:00Speaker 8: because they ain't kind of a hater in my life,
- 12:02Speaker 8: and they got hold of my number. But you know
- 12:05Speaker 8: what God is he right here, right here where he
- 12:08Speaker 8: always been.
- 12:09Speaker 2: You know what he doing.
- 12:10Speaker 8: He got us tucked up under his wings. You know what,
- 12:13Speaker 8: with all the slings and ourls that's coming, ain't none
- 12:15Speaker 8: of them getting through? We protected, we covered. It's hot,
- 12:19Speaker 8: it's uncomfortably hot, but we ain't on fire. Though.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Where is God?
- 12:25Speaker 8: He right here pulling me through everything else, pulling me
- 12:28Speaker 8: through this just like he tear for everything else has
- 12:30Speaker 8: ever promised me? That's where God and God gonna when
- 12:34Speaker 8: I get through it? He gonna be on the other
- 12:36Speaker 8: side because he got something from me. That's where God
- 12:39Speaker 8: he's showing up.
- 12:40Speaker 2: He holding me. That's where he at.
- 12:41Speaker 8: I'm not too bad. You don't see, but I showed you.
- 12:45Speaker 8: I feel him every day. That's where my god ad man.
- 12:48Speaker 8: Come on, hay, I show appreciate the text. I know
- 12:52Speaker 8: you got that little thing they called Google numbers where
- 12:54Speaker 8: you can change your number. You can say what you
- 12:55Speaker 8: wanna say. But you're stupid and I know who you are?
- 13:02Speaker 1: Whoat?
- 13:06Speaker 2: I got enough money to find.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Let's go.
- 13:12Speaker 9: Common.
- 13:16Speaker 1: I know, Happy Friday?
- 13:20Speaker 2: Right, that's funny.
- 13:22Speaker 6: No, really, I know who is?
- 13:24Speaker 2: So why are you smiling?
- 13:28Speaker 1: So?
- 13:29Speaker 2: You stupid? I got enough money to find all right.
- 13:32Speaker 10: Listen, coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:35Speaker 10: we'll hear from Junior in for the nephew as he
- 13:37Speaker 10: runs that prank back.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Right after this.
- 13:42Speaker 10: You're listening hard Morning show. It is time now for
- 13:47Speaker 10: Junior to be in for the nephew to run that
- 13:50Speaker 10: prank back. Junior, what's on the menu for today?
- 13:53Speaker 11: What you got we'll run that prank back today is
- 13:55Speaker 11: goneish your wages we take it still.
- 13:57Speaker 2: We garnish in your wages.
- 13:59Speaker 6: Come on.
- 13:59Speaker 12: Can't Hello, I'm trying to reach a place. My name
- 14:05Speaker 12: is from the District Attorney's office. Yes, Hi, how are
- 14:08Speaker 12: you giving you a call today?
- 14:10Speaker 2: Man?
- 14:10Speaker 12: Trying to get some updates from you. Your husband, mister
- 14:13Speaker 12: con is he still not working at this point?
- 14:17Speaker 2: No, sir? Okay? How long has he been out of
- 14:20Speaker 2: work so far? Ma'am? Could you could you give me
- 14:22Speaker 2: an update on this.
- 14:24Speaker 13: January?
- 14:25Speaker 2: Okay?
- 14:26Speaker 12: All right, here's what we're having. The problems that we're having.
- 14:29Speaker 12: You have a son, I think it's his name is
- 14:33Speaker 12: as well, fourteen years old?
- 14:34Speaker 8: Am I right?
- 14:36Speaker 2: Okay?
- 14:37Speaker 12: The child support is not being paid from mister for
- 14:42Speaker 12: the uh for mister young and we're trying to get
- 14:45Speaker 12: this thing rectified.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Now.
- 14:46Speaker 12: The problem that we're going to have, and the reason
- 14:48Speaker 12: why we're giving you a call is considering that your
- 14:51Speaker 12: husband hasn't worked since the first of the year. And
- 14:53Speaker 12: I haven't done the research yet. I'm just I'm just
- 14:56Speaker 12: not pulling up your file. I haven't done the research.
- 14:58Speaker 12: And see how many months in the rears he years
- 15:00Speaker 12: on child support?
- 15:02Speaker 13: But it just started once he lost his job.
- 15:05Speaker 12: Okay, Well, the problem network we're going to have is
- 15:08Speaker 12: they're gonna start taking child support, and I hate to
- 15:12Speaker 12: give you this news out of your check.
- 15:15Speaker 13: I don't understand how that because I have my own kids.
- 15:18Speaker 13: I don't understand that.
- 15:19Speaker 12: I understand, but they're gonna be garnishing your check, ma'am
- 15:22Speaker 12: uh until this, until your husband can get this thing
- 15:24Speaker 12: back on his feet and get it rectified and get
- 15:26Speaker 12: him up to pars for of all the.
- 15:28Speaker 13: Payments that are hurt and when what is he taking place?
- 15:30Speaker 13: Because if that's the case, I'm not gonna be working
- 15:33Speaker 13: because that's not gonna happen. I have my own children,
- 15:36Speaker 13: so I don't understand how that's.
- 15:38Speaker 2: So.
- 15:38Speaker 13: I don't have anything to do with child for it
- 15:40Speaker 13: or anything like that. And if that's the case, I'm
- 15:43Speaker 13: not gonna be working as him right now.
- 15:44Speaker 12: The garnishing of the check is gonna come from you.
- 15:46Speaker 12: And you are at the hospital. Correct, No, that's not
- 15:49Speaker 12: that's not where you work.
- 15:50Speaker 13: I don't I'm not gonna be working as him right now.
- 15:54Speaker 13: That's what I just tell you. So y'all do whatever
- 15:56Speaker 13: you have to do, and I'll do whatever I have
- 15:57Speaker 13: to do on my end.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Okay, well hold on it.
- 15:59Speaker 2: You're willing to with your job, I'm not understanding this.
- 16:02Speaker 13: You're sure white because I'm not gonna be taking care
- 16:04Speaker 13: of someone else's kids and not have my own. So
- 16:06Speaker 13: how that's right? So somebody else can take your minds then,
- 16:10Speaker 13: because I'm not gonna be doing it, You're so right?
- 16:12Speaker 2: All right?
- 16:12Speaker 12: Well, I mean, I'm just you know, don't I don't
- 16:14Speaker 12: want you to be upset with you. I don't want
- 16:16Speaker 12: you to be upset with me.
- 16:17Speaker 13: I can be able to contact you, Okay, you.
- 16:20Speaker 12: Know I'm gonna let I'm gonna let you know. This
- 16:22Speaker 12: is a bit of information. You're still gonna if you're
- 16:25Speaker 12: quitting your job. Man, you guys are still going to
- 16:27Speaker 12: be liable for the child support.
- 16:29Speaker 13: Okay, well that's fine, not you guys, because it's not
- 16:32Speaker 13: my children, sir. Okay, it's not you guys.
- 16:36Speaker 14: He will be liable, okay, Okay, because I don't.
- 16:39Speaker 13: I mean, can I step you hold on moment because
- 16:41Speaker 13: I need to step outside, if that's okay, or if
- 16:44Speaker 13: there's a number I can contact you back.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Okay? Are you able to step outside right now?
- 16:49Speaker 13: Yes, But I'm gonna get on the elevator and it's
- 16:51Speaker 13: gonna kind of and I.
- 16:52Speaker 14: Wait for you to call.
- 16:53Speaker 12: Give me about forty five seconds. But I'm going to
- 16:55Speaker 12: give a call to my manager on this situation.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Okay, please do sir?
- 16:59Speaker 14: All right?
- 17:03Speaker 1: Hello, okay, miss yes.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Sir all right again from the district Attorney's office.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Okay, you can hear me now, yes, I can.
- 17:10Speaker 13: Can you hear me?
- 17:11Speaker 12: Yes, ma'am, I sure can. Now, let's get to the
- 17:13Speaker 12: bottom of everything. I couldn't get my manager on the phone,
- 17:15Speaker 12: but I'll keep trying.
- 17:17Speaker 2: I just want to know. I mean that that's I'm
- 17:20Speaker 2: just a message messenger.

- 19:18Speaker 13: You can't he talking to me calling me. I'm gonna
- 19:20Speaker 13: pay this child for you paying.
- 19:23Speaker 2: You're gonna make me. You're gonna make me whip your

- 20:22Speaker 13: you know, to cull out.
- 20:26Speaker 12: I gotta ask, I gotta ask all y'all. So what

- 20:46Speaker 10: Our Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey in the building you're
- 20:50Speaker 10: listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the top
- 20:54Speaker 10: of the hour. Well, we're gonna have a very special guest.
- 20:57Speaker 10: He's a gospel music legend and a very good friend
- 21:00Speaker 10: to the show.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Steve.
- 21:00Speaker 12: You know him.
- 21:01Speaker 10: Well, it's the one and only mister Kirk Franklin. That's
- 21:05Speaker 10: right now, Kurt the brand new Day. Yeah, he is
- 21:08Speaker 10: a brand new documentary that is premiering today. It exposes
- 21:12Speaker 10: the traumas he experienced as a child. We'll talk about
- 21:15Speaker 10: all of that. It's a piece of his life that
- 21:17Speaker 10: a lot of his fans don't know about. Kirk will
- 21:20Speaker 10: join us at the top of the hour, but right
- 21:22Speaker 10: now it is time to ask the clo Jacqueline in
- 21:27Speaker 10: Macon writes, I'm forty eight years old and divorced. I've
- 21:31Speaker 10: lived with a forty five year old man for two years.
- 21:34Speaker 10: He's divorced too, and we've been platonic friends for years.
- 21:38Speaker 10: If he was interested and wanted to have something more
- 21:41Speaker 10: with me, would he have tried something by now? She's
- 21:45Speaker 10: forty eight, he's forty five. They've lived together for two years,
- 21:49Speaker 10: and they've been platonic friends for years, and she said
- 21:53Speaker 10: she wants to know if he's interested, and if.
- 21:55Speaker 1: He was, wouldn't he have they'll lived together? They lived together.
- 22:00Speaker 8: Nothing in two years. Oh, we got we got some
- 22:05Speaker 8: we got some more questions about this hit then.
- 22:09Speaker 2: We don't.
- 22:12Speaker 8: Yes, you need to go in and and have that
- 22:14Speaker 8: pronoun conversations. That's what you probably need to do two years.
- 22:19Speaker 1: That's where we're going with this.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Okay, he ain't said nothing?
- 22:23Speaker 1: Who who you know?
- 22:25Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 22:25Speaker 10: She said, if he was interested and wanted to have
- 22:28Speaker 10: something more with me, would he have tried something by now?
- 22:32Speaker 2: That is her question. I would have everybody I know
- 22:39Speaker 2: would him?
- 22:40Speaker 8: If you live with a woman for two years and
- 22:44Speaker 8: you want something with her, you ain't telling me one evening,
- 22:48Speaker 8: y'all ain't sitting up watching TV and.
- 22:50Speaker 2: You touch her thigh.
- 22:51Speaker 8: You trying to tell me two years of TV watching
- 22:55Speaker 8: she got on shots.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Now you ain't laid your hand on her thigh? Boy,
- 22:59Speaker 2: stop stop?
- 23:02Speaker 1: So she should move on? All right, we're going to
- 23:08Speaker 1: my he can we move on to what we got?
- 23:15Speaker 2: What is y'all in that doing?
- 23:19Speaker 8: All right?
- 23:20Speaker 1: Kalicia and Ronoke would have tried something? Boy the cloth.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Freeze, I don't know nobody we're meant.
- 23:37Speaker 10: Yeah, we're moving on to Kalicia and Roanoke. Calicia says,
- 23:41Speaker 10: my husband had a suit made by one of his
- 23:43Speaker 10: friends that's trying to start his own label.
- 23:46Speaker 1: The suit is terrible and it was overpriced.
- 23:49Speaker 10: My husband is afraid to get his money back, and
- 23:51Speaker 10: can I call this man and collect the money, or
- 23:54Speaker 10: let it go like my man said.
- 23:56Speaker 8: No, let it go like your man said, what you
- 23:59Speaker 8: what you in it? He know, the dude ain't finna
- 24:02Speaker 8: be in the suit business. He didn't cut his losses. Hey, man,
- 24:07Speaker 8: I paid the brother he did make the suit, so
- 24:09Speaker 8: give him his money. It's horrible.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Let it count.
- 24:13Speaker 8: I'm gonna tell you right now, man, I'm telling you
- 24:15Speaker 8: a guy that made me a bunch of suits one time,
- 24:19Speaker 8: and I don't know what he and and I don't
- 24:22Speaker 8: know what he had did, but they all came back horrible.
- 24:27Speaker 8: I asked for my money back. You know what he
- 24:30Speaker 8: said to me, Man, you just want me to take
- 24:33Speaker 8: that bigger loss, he said, I give you a discount. Dog,
- 24:40Speaker 8: I can't wear his clothes.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Give me free.
- 24:46Speaker 8: I can't whem if you give them to me free.
- 24:51Speaker 8: It's just one suit. Chalk it up to the game.
- 24:53Speaker 8: Gone about your business, man, all right, and do that
- 24:56Speaker 8: get in front of your man on that.
- 24:58Speaker 10: Moving on to Rashan in Toronto, who writes, I thought
- 25:02Speaker 10: my husband was cheating on me one night, so I
- 25:04Speaker 10: followed him. He went to a jewelry store, so I
- 25:07Speaker 10: felt like a dummy. That was a month ago and
- 25:10Speaker 10: my birthday has passed. He didn't give me the jewelry,
- 25:13Speaker 10: so who was he shopping for?
- 25:16Speaker 1: Is he cheating?
- 25:17Speaker 2: Say that again?
- 25:18Speaker 8: Sure?
- 25:19Speaker 10: Okay, So she thought her husband was cheating on her, right,
- 25:23Speaker 10: so she followed him one night he went to a
- 25:26Speaker 10: jewelry store. So she felt like a dummy. She said,
- 25:30Speaker 10: that was a month ago and my birthday has passed.
- 25:33Speaker 10: He didn't give her the jewelry, so so who is
- 25:36Speaker 10: he shopping for?
- 25:37Speaker 1: And is he cheating?
- 25:38Speaker 7: Now?
- 25:38Speaker 2: Hold up? Hold up, hold up, hold up. He went
- 25:41Speaker 2: to the jewelry store.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Yes, that night, she followed him.
- 25:44Speaker 8: You felt like a dummy. Birthday passed. You ain't getting
- 25:47Speaker 8: no jewelry.
- 25:48Speaker 1: Nothing.
- 25:48Speaker 2: He went to the jewelry store. Maybe he didn't find
- 25:51Speaker 2: nothing in there.
- 25:53Speaker 1: That's her birthday. Did he give her something for a birthday?
- 25:57Speaker 1: She was expecting jewelry obviously.
- 25:59Speaker 8: Yeah, but maybe he went to the jewelry store and
- 26:02Speaker 8: didn't find nothing for you in the jewelry store. Because
- 26:05Speaker 8: he went, don't mean he bought nothing. The majority of
- 26:08Speaker 8: jewelry stores I went in, I walked back out with nothing.
- 26:11Speaker 8: The majority of watch stores. And I love watching I
- 26:14Speaker 8: go in and I walk out without a watch. It
- 26:17Speaker 8: happens all the time. Now, unless you're saying the credit
- 26:21Speaker 8: card showed that he bought a tennis bracelet for for
- 26:26Speaker 8: four thousand dollars and then you ain't get it, then
- 26:29Speaker 8: you have something to do. That's called evidence. But if
- 26:32Speaker 8: you don't have that, all you said to us was
- 26:34Speaker 8: he went in the jewelry store, and I felt dumb.
- 26:37Speaker 8: But then my birthday coming, I didn't get none. He
- 26:40Speaker 8: went to the jewelry store, he ain't find nothing.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Maybe it was true the whole big.
- 26:46Speaker 1: Yeah, she was expecting you.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Saw a lot of stuff. But if he ain't had
- 26:50Speaker 2: the money for it.
- 26:54Speaker 15: Yeah, in the old face.
- 26:55Speaker 8: He went in that expecting one thing, and what he
- 26:58Speaker 8: had the budget he had in he didn't see nothing
- 27:01Speaker 8: he liked for that money.
- 27:03Speaker 1: She was so cent all that day thinking she was
- 27:07Speaker 1: going to get the jewelry for her birthday.
- 27:10Speaker 8: Well, you followed the man to the jewelry store. He
- 27:12Speaker 8: went in there, and then you birthday came to pass her.
- 27:15Speaker 8: You ain't getting no jewelry. Did you see him buy
- 27:18Speaker 8: anything that the credit card receiet say? If you don't
- 27:20Speaker 8: have that, lady, what you're talking about is he cheating?
- 27:24Speaker 16: No, what did he give her for her birthday problems
- 27:27Speaker 16: in the evening in Paris. M M, that's what I
- 27:32Speaker 16: gave my mom every Christmas. She so, my little dumb
- 27:35Speaker 16: ass bought it every year. Then one day I was
- 27:38Speaker 16: looking up in her clothes. I saw all the damn
- 27:40Speaker 16: bottles of evening in Paris.
- 27:41Speaker 2: I saw her every year she opened that gift and
- 27:49Speaker 2: hugged me. This little boy, proud of him. He just shopped.
- 27:55Speaker 12: About it.
- 27:55Speaker 2: About seven years of evening and.
- 28:02Speaker 10: All right, I think we have time for one more.
- 28:05Speaker 10: Terry and Detroit says. I ran into an old friend.
- 28:07Speaker 10: I found out that she is married to a man
- 28:09Speaker 10: that I had an affair with. I knew he was married,
- 28:12Speaker 10: but I didn't know to whom. We're still cool. So
- 28:15Speaker 10: I called and told him I've known his wife for years.
- 28:17Speaker 1: He hung up. What did I do wrong?
- 28:20Speaker 2: What you call the man fault? You hadn't a family?
- 28:23Speaker 1: Him?
- 28:24Speaker 12: Uh huh?
- 28:25Speaker 2: What y'all won't these people? He hung up. God, don't click,
- 28:32Speaker 2: I'll tell you right.
- 28:32Speaker 1: Now more time.
- 28:42Speaker 8: Hey, Julius, Hey, who is this this teacher? Hey, what's
- 28:46Speaker 8: what's going on? You know I've known your wife for you?
- 28:50Speaker 2: Click?
- 28:53Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 28:53Speaker 10: Cello coming up next Kirk Franklin joins us to talk
- 28:57Speaker 10: about his brand new documentary, Father's Day, a Kirk Franklin story.
- 29:02Speaker 1: Right after this, Man, you're listening Morning show?
- 29:09Speaker 8: All right, everybody, welcome back. As promise, we got very
- 29:13Speaker 8: very special guests this morning. He's my little brother, period,
- 29:18Speaker 8: that's all. We're closer and close. We ain't friends, were brothers.
- 29:23Speaker 8: It wasn't for Kirk Franklin. And that's all I can say.
- 29:27Speaker 8: If it wasn't for Kirk Franklin about me, Oh this
- 29:32Speaker 8: would be different. Yeah, I'd be different. I be different,
- 29:36Speaker 8: you know. So anyway, he's here, Yeah, he's my homie.
- 29:43Speaker 8: I'm just telling you I wasn't Kirk Franklin. He's a
- 29:49Speaker 8: gospel legend. We went on tour over ten years ago,
- 29:54Speaker 8: and if you missed that show, you missed the best
- 29:56Speaker 8: of both worlds.
- 29:57Speaker 2: On stage, that's what we call the best of both
- 30:00Speaker 2: world two. We was up there.
- 30:01Speaker 9: Man.
- 30:02Speaker 8: I bought the jokes and he bought the Jesus. Then
- 30:05Speaker 8: today he's joining us to talk about a brand new documentary. Y'all,
- 30:08Speaker 8: this is gonna be very interesting because you're not expecting this.
- 30:11Speaker 8: It's called Father's Day A Kirk Franklin story, and in
- 30:16Speaker 8: it he opens up about all the traumas of his childhood.
- 30:20Speaker 8: We gonna find out what nom We talk about music,
- 30:22Speaker 8: but this is a little bit different. We got a documentary,
- 30:24Speaker 8: Lady and General one and only my dog, Kirk Franklin.
- 30:28Speaker 14: Well, k Hey, beautiful people, morning morning, beautiful people.
- 30:33Speaker 2: Then thank you.
- 30:34Speaker 7: It's good to hear voices Kurt.
- 30:36Speaker 8: This is a short form documentary. It's available on your
- 30:41Speaker 8: YouTube channel. It's called A Father's Day, a Kirk Franklin Story.
- 30:45Speaker 8: You get deep on this one man. You talked about
- 30:47Speaker 8: what is it about? You talked about adoption, growing up
- 30:50Speaker 8: without structure. Tell us what's happening?
- 30:53Speaker 14: Well, everybody, Well, well, first of most people know that
- 30:55Speaker 14: I was adopted when I was four by sixty four
- 30:58Speaker 14: year old woman and she'd have any other kid. She
- 31:01Speaker 14: was a widow, and she legally adopted me when I
- 31:04Speaker 14: was bought. My name was kurtin Master's right, and so
- 31:07Speaker 14: I would see my biological mother maybe once or twice
- 31:10Speaker 14: a year. Because we know how it is sometimes in
- 31:12Speaker 14: marchin in the ized communities, I mean, sometimes you still
- 31:15Speaker 14: may know of your parents, which can even make the
- 31:17Speaker 14: trauma even more difficult. Because you wonder why you're not
- 31:20Speaker 14: good enough to go with them, right, And so she
- 31:23Speaker 14: would come in and out maybe twice once or twice
- 31:26Speaker 14: a year. I met my biological father when I was six,
- 31:29Speaker 14: I believe to be my father at six, then see
- 31:31Speaker 14: him again until I was thirteen. Didn't see him again
- 31:34Speaker 14: until my albums came out, and then they started to
- 31:36Speaker 14: show up, and that really created a lot of anger
- 31:39Speaker 14: and hated my heart for him, and so I hated
- 31:41Speaker 14: my father.
- 31:42Speaker 7: I hated him.
- 31:43Speaker 14: And then so from there, basically about six seven years ago,
- 31:48Speaker 14: I got a call he was dining of cancer. I
- 31:50Speaker 14: flew to go see him. I made peace, and that
- 31:52Speaker 14: was the end of that story. Four months ago, four
- 31:56Speaker 14: months ago, at a random funeral, there was a conversation
- 32:00Speaker 14: in the pastor of that church and a man that
- 32:02Speaker 14: his name is Rick, and Rick started to talk about
- 32:06Speaker 14: how he dated a girl that was the sister of
- 32:09Speaker 14: the young lady that god at the funeral when he
- 32:11Speaker 14: was a young man. People at the funeral began to
- 32:13Speaker 14: look at him and question his height, his ears, his head,
- 32:17Speaker 14: and they were like, you have you ever met Kirk
- 32:19Speaker 14: Franklin because the lady you used to date. But I
- 32:22Speaker 14: re believe that's his biological mother. He said, no, I've
- 32:25Speaker 14: never met him. Never, I've heard of his name. At
- 32:28Speaker 14: that funeral, that became a rumor mill. That made people
- 32:31Speaker 14: start to question who Rick really was. And so because
- 32:35Speaker 14: it got so big in here in the community. It
- 32:37Speaker 14: was about four fold months ago, Rick took a DNA
- 32:40Speaker 14: test on his own my biological the mother heard about it.
- 32:43Speaker 14: She denied that she even knew the man and never
- 32:46Speaker 14: had relationship with the man. He gave me his swabs,
- 32:50Speaker 14: and my nervousness is feared because, as you guys know,
- 32:52Speaker 14: when you you know, kind of have a some type
- 32:55Speaker 14: of notoriety. All my life, I've had people come out
- 32:57Speaker 14: and say the name of my father and my mother
- 32:59Speaker 14: because my adoption story that came out there. I took
- 33:02Speaker 14: my DNA swabs, this man is my biological father.
- 33:06Speaker 7: My mother denies it.
- 33:07Speaker 14: She wants another test done, and we get another test.
- 33:11Speaker 14: The second test comes back positive. This man is my
- 33:14Speaker 14: boss's father. She denies it. And so now I have
- 33:18Speaker 14: this issue in my life that I've hated one man
- 33:21Speaker 14: my whole life that even didn't even deserve to be
- 33:24Speaker 14: hated because he would never He died knowing that I
- 33:27Speaker 14: hated him, thinking that he was my father and he's not.
- 33:29Speaker 14: And so now I've got a brand new journey and
- 33:31Speaker 14: this is own happening at the same time of me
- 33:34Speaker 14: working on my new album. And so that's what the
- 33:37Speaker 14: documentary is about. And I call it Father's Day because
- 33:40Speaker 14: I used three log lines, what I missed, where I am,
- 33:44Speaker 14: and what's always been?
- 33:47Speaker 12: Sure?
- 33:47Speaker 2: What the hell?
- 33:51Speaker 8: Wait a minute, though, I'm very rarely at a loss,
- 33:54Speaker 8: but let me say this this you So you got
- 33:58Speaker 8: this all laid out in a doctor.
- 34:00Speaker 14: Can mineral, Yes sir, Yes, sir.
- 34:03Speaker 8: And it's on your YouTube channel, yes sir.
- 34:06Speaker 14: What happened was that this was the first time ever
- 34:09Speaker 14: that I had a videographer that was that was hired
- 34:12Speaker 14: with me just to get behind the scenes footage on
- 34:15Speaker 14: my new album.
- 34:16Speaker 7: He was just with me.
- 34:17Speaker 14: It was my first time in my time career, guys,
- 34:19Speaker 14: that I had a videographer with me while working on
- 34:22Speaker 14: the new Alchm. So this all happened apportunities. I got
- 34:25Speaker 14: a phone, couple of friends said we need to sit down.
- 34:27Speaker 14: I got something to say, and so my videographer was
- 34:30Speaker 14: already in the studio with me. I'm in the middle
- 34:33Speaker 14: of working on the alpham So when I'm doing these
- 34:35Speaker 14: tests and going to these people, so the biographer stollowing
- 34:38Speaker 14: me as I go and give the results to mister Rick,
- 34:41Speaker 14: as I go to my mother and she's deniga as
- 34:43Speaker 14: we go get the second test, and then there are
- 34:45Speaker 14: other people that you're going to be very shocked to
- 34:48Speaker 14: see that in the documentary that I had to go
- 34:51Speaker 14: to as well. And so I'm not going to give
- 34:53Speaker 14: it all the way, but it is all happening in
- 34:56Speaker 14: real time, and we partnered with an incredible coming out
- 34:59Speaker 14: of Los Angeles.
- 35:00Speaker 7: Could walk to Steve with.
- 35:03Speaker 12: Kirk.
- 35:03Speaker 8: Kirk, Kirk, you just said there are some other people
- 35:07Speaker 8: in the video that you're gonna be shot. I ain't
- 35:09Speaker 8: in the video, what, Kurt? I can't take nothing else
- 35:15Speaker 8: right now, Kurt, I can't, Kirk. I'm going through enough
- 35:19Speaker 8: right now. I can't take another shot. Am I in
- 35:22Speaker 8: the video?
- 35:22Speaker 14: Just say no, ladies and gentlemen, I am uh.
- 35:28Speaker 7: You know, I just think you guys.
- 35:32Speaker 14: You say I'm your.
- 35:33Speaker 2: Daddy, I'm taking here talking about him, your damn dady.
- 35:40Speaker 2: We'll be back. I know I better not need to
- 35:44Speaker 2: damn daddy. We'll be back with Kirk, Franklins right out.
- 35:51Speaker 1: You're listening morning show.
- 35:55Speaker 2: Hey everybody, we're back with more of the Steve R.
- 35:57Speaker 2: Morning Shot. Especially guess this morning's Kirk from and we
- 36:00Speaker 2: clean the ass.
- 36:01Speaker 8: Kirk has on his YouTube channel, y'all, and we didn't
- 36:05Speaker 8: know this was coming, but boy, he just dropped off.
- 36:07Speaker 8: He just dropped the atomic bomb on this show. And
- 36:11Speaker 8: Kirk Franklin, it has a new documentary out. It's on
- 36:15Speaker 8: his YouTube channel, so you got to subscribe to the
- 36:18Speaker 8: YouTube channel. It's called A Father's Day. It's called Father's Day,
- 36:22Speaker 8: a Kirk Franklin Story. And Kirk exposes his whole story
- 36:27Speaker 8: and this is crazy man.
- 36:30Speaker 2: You know, man, what do you attribute this to? Kirk?
- 36:34Speaker 8: Because to have the videographer that just for shooting the
- 36:39Speaker 8: album and it happens to capture all of this life
- 36:42Speaker 8: changing information.
- 36:43Speaker 2: How was that?
- 36:45Speaker 7: You know?
- 36:46Speaker 14: And you know, yeall are we gonna say, you know, man,
- 36:49Speaker 14: that's just nothing, But that's the God himself, because there
- 36:53Speaker 14: was no way you can plan this. And do nobody
- 36:54Speaker 14: want nothing like this in their life? You know, I'm
- 36:56Speaker 14: fifty three years old, you know, I may peace, well,
- 37:00Speaker 14: I feel I can make peace with the man. And
- 37:02Speaker 14: then I think that people also in understands. Some people say, well, man,
- 37:05Speaker 14: this is good, this is this is wonderful that you
- 37:07Speaker 14: find your father. And I think people don't understand. I
- 37:10Speaker 14: hated the man that I believed to be my father,
- 37:13Speaker 14: not because I didn't want him to be my father.
- 37:16Speaker 14: I hated him because I wanted.
- 37:17Speaker 7: Him to be my father.
- 37:19Speaker 14: So I've got over half a century of pain of
- 37:22Speaker 14: chasing somebody. And you know how we are in humans,
- 37:25Speaker 14: We chase people that don't want us. So I wanted
- 37:29Speaker 14: him to be my father. So I just think I
- 37:31Speaker 14: don't take that pain as of oh, okay, well here's
- 37:34Speaker 14: my new dad, and now I'm gonna let that. It's
- 37:36Speaker 14: like I'm still dealing with the the just the aftermath
- 37:40Speaker 14: of that I wanted someone that didn't want me. Okay,
- 37:44Speaker 14: here's somebody, and now I'm trying to learn how to
- 37:46Speaker 14: rethink and reprogram while at the same time, even though
- 37:50Speaker 14: I wasn't raised for my violence for mother, because she
- 37:52Speaker 14: continues to deny this. First of all, why wouldn't nobody
- 37:56Speaker 14: love me? Why wouldn't nobody accept me? And I am
- 38:00Speaker 14: now with a whole new question in my life. Oh right, God,
- 38:03Speaker 14: now why and why now?
- 38:06Speaker 8: Wow, Kirk, I'm gonna tell you something, man. Everybody, y'all
- 38:10Speaker 8: need to go watch. It's just on his YouTube channel,
- 38:13Speaker 8: Kirk Franklin's YouTube channel. It's called Father's Day, a Kirk
- 38:18Speaker 8: Franklin Story. I'm gonna watch it today because I want
- 38:21Speaker 8: to see how all this panned out. But I tell
- 38:23Speaker 8: you one thing, here's the one takeaway that I got
- 38:26Speaker 8: from this, Kirk, is that you're fifty three and I'm
- 38:29Speaker 8: sixty six. Ain't no way in hell I'm your daddy.
- 38:32Speaker 8: So thank you for that at.
- 38:34Speaker 2: Least the same about me.
- 38:35Speaker 8: Who because I can't take nothing else. I have nothing
- 38:38Speaker 8: else on YouTube, blue tooth, I can't have nothing cybergs
- 38:44Speaker 8: face Internet, I g yog TikTok.
- 38:48Speaker 1: I'm off.
- 38:49Speaker 2: I can't urt you. Love you man, We love you man.
- 38:53Speaker 2: We're gonna go check it out.
- 38:54Speaker 14: Congratulations boy, this opportunity to love y'all.
- 38:57Speaker 7: Love y'all.
- 38:58Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 38:58Speaker 12: Wow.
- 38:58Speaker 10: That was powerful from Kirk Franklin. Coming up next, as
- 39:02Speaker 10: we switched gears. We heard earlier this week that it
- 39:04Speaker 10: was Junior's anniversary. He's written a poem for himself.
- 39:08Speaker 1: Right after this. You're listening.
- 39:12Speaker 10: Morning show, all right, so we all know that junior's anniversary,
- 39:16Speaker 10: his very first anniversary is this weekend, and he's written
- 39:19Speaker 10: a poem for his wife, Steve. He wants your opinion
- 39:22Speaker 10: on it before he reads it.
- 39:23Speaker 2: Tour Oh, ain't no doubt about that.
- 39:26Speaker 8: Yeah, without further ado, the man that I have effectually
- 39:33Speaker 8: called Jay Rap Jay Rapp, got a poem for us today, y'all.
- 39:38Speaker 8: Jay Rapp is acronym and stands for juniors raggedy ass poem.
- 39:42Speaker 2: Come on, ju, thank you. I appreciate it.
- 39:45Speaker 11: You know, tomorrow's my anniversary, been married a whole year,
- 39:49Speaker 11: and more than anything, call it.
- 39:51Speaker 2: I'm shocked.
- 39:55Speaker 11: Well, thank you, thank you the whole year. Matter of fact,
- 39:58Speaker 11: that's the title of the poem. The title of today
- 40:00Speaker 11: is it's been.
- 40:01Speaker 2: A whole year.
- 40:01Speaker 9: Here go.
- 40:03Speaker 2: That's the title. It's been a whole year. That's how
- 40:07Speaker 2: I got here. We go, dear wife for mine, I
- 40:11Speaker 2: love you.
- 40:11Speaker 8: There.
- 40:12Speaker 11: Can't believe it's been a whole year. At least I can't,
- 40:16Speaker 11: because I didn't know what to do. So I tried
- 40:18Speaker 11: so hard to be a good husband for you. I
- 40:21Speaker 11: got invited from Uncle Steve, and every time he told
- 40:23Speaker 11: me you was gonna leave, but you didn't leave. Me,
- 40:26Speaker 11: so I'm happy, even though I was acting real crappy,
- 40:29Speaker 11: even though they always start to fight.
- 40:31Speaker 15: We're not gonna talk about that because I'm trying to
- 40:33Speaker 15: get some tonight the.
- 40:35Speaker 1: End, happy anniversary.
- 40:41Speaker 2: Business space. Yeah, that's the whole goal, hey, keep me
- 40:49Speaker 2: out your damn. The whole goal is just to get
- 40:56Speaker 2: some because it's been a while now.
- 40:58Speaker 15: I ain't been the.
- 40:58Speaker 2: Best husband all the time.
- 41:00Speaker 11: But I hope, you know, I hope she just go
- 41:02Speaker 11: ahead understanding this is important day for us and I'm
- 41:05Speaker 11: trying to get something. That's what I'm trying to do.
- 41:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:07Speaker 11: No, I mean, I'm so glad we made it a year.
- 41:10Speaker 11: But you ain't tell me though. You ain't tell me
- 41:13Speaker 11: it's a full time job.
- 41:14Speaker 8: Here.
- 41:14Speaker 2: You ain't tell me being a huband being a full
- 41:16Speaker 2: time job. I got to confidence more. The man ask
- 41:20Speaker 2: a question, Yeah, you thought it was part time. I
- 41:23Speaker 2: thought it was every now and then? Did you really
- 41:28Speaker 2: you know? I ain't No, I ain't know. You won't
- 41:29Speaker 2: be around the well no, no, no, no, no, no
- 41:31Speaker 2: it is yeah.
- 41:33Speaker 8: See see a lot of people don't even understand what
- 41:36Speaker 8: they be saying every now and then.
- 41:40Speaker 2: Each one of their words represents what it is.
- 41:44Speaker 1: Every yeah, yeah, yeah, now yep and then yeah.
- 41:52Speaker 8: See, and you really break these slogans down that people
- 41:55Speaker 8: been throwing run, I get to it every now and then. No,
- 42:00Speaker 8: when you talking to a woman and you say every
- 42:03Speaker 8: now and then, what she means is just what that
- 42:07Speaker 8: statement says every.
- 42:10Speaker 2: Now and then.
- 42:12Speaker 8: We as men use every now and then differently. Don't
- 42:16Speaker 8: let a woman tell you you do it every now
- 42:18Speaker 8: and then.
- 42:20Speaker 2: What that means is every and then tell you.
- 42:28Speaker 11: Something I'm telling you. You know, you know, if they
- 42:30Speaker 11: a good thing about is that up that I'm learning.
- 42:33Speaker 11: I'm learning how to be a good husband. You know,
- 42:35Speaker 11: I have not to say I'm there in a year,
- 42:37Speaker 11: but you know there's some things I had to understand that.
- 42:39Speaker 11: You know, she needs her attention from me too, and
- 42:42Speaker 11: she needs it on a consistent basis because you know me,
- 42:44Speaker 11: I'm I'm gonna watch the game. That's pretty much all
- 42:46Speaker 11: my life is just watching the games. But if I
- 42:49Speaker 11: look like I'm just sitting, ain't doing nothing? Something to
- 42:51Speaker 11: come up?
- 42:51Speaker 2: I know that I know that, baby.
- 42:53Speaker 11: Can you go up there and get the clothes after dry?
- 42:55Speaker 11: I knew I wouldn't sit that that long. Can you
- 42:57Speaker 11: go ahead and go pick me up something to eat.
- 42:59Speaker 11: I knew I didn't see here that long.
- 43:01Speaker 2: I knew it.
- 43:01Speaker 1: I knew it.
- 43:03Speaker 8: Someone to ask you som cause your wife works. She's
- 43:06Speaker 8: got great position, man. So you think that she works
- 43:10Speaker 8: all week ago, and then you gonna take Saturdays and
- 43:14Speaker 8: Sundays and gonna watch you You're finna watch what now.
- 43:17Speaker 2: I ain't seen the whole game yet. I know that
- 43:22Speaker 2: I ain't seeing. I ain't know.

- 53:47Speaker 15: Onoe my good friend, Shirlie Strawberry.
- 53:49Speaker 10: Thank you, my good friend Junior. Subject stuck on the
- 53:53Speaker 10: third row. Dear Stephen Shirley, you haven't lived until you
- 53:57Speaker 10: got stuck on the third row of an escal. I'm
- 54:01Speaker 10: so disgusted that I don't care if my ex boyfriend
- 54:05Speaker 10: or his wife here this letter.
- 54:07Speaker 1: I was dating this guy that lives about an hour
- 54:09Speaker 1: from me.
- 54:11Speaker 10: I had a business meeting in his city, so I
- 54:13Speaker 10: stopped by his job to get a quick kiss and
- 54:15Speaker 10: hug before I left town. He wanted more than that,
- 54:19Speaker 10: so I met him in the parking lot of his
- 54:21Speaker 10: job and he got in his truck. He drove to
- 54:24Speaker 10: the back of the parking lot and we got on
- 54:27Speaker 10: the third row of the truck for a quickie. It
- 54:29Speaker 10: was such a thrill for me because I had never
- 54:32Speaker 10: done anything like that. I have my pants off and
- 54:35Speaker 10: my wig. I mean, we were really getting it on.
- 54:39Speaker 10: My boyfriend's phone kept ringing, so he paused for a
- 54:42Speaker 10: minute so he could answer it. It was his wife
- 54:45Speaker 10: and she told him she was close to his job
- 54:47Speaker 10: and she wanted him to meet her for lunch. He
- 54:50Speaker 10: gave her so many excuses, but she was not having it.
- 54:54Speaker 10: Then she said she was about to turn into the
- 54:56Speaker 10: parking lot to pick him up. This crazy man told
- 54:59Speaker 10: her he would meet her there, and he was already
- 55:02Speaker 10: in his truck.
- 55:03Speaker 1: She pulled up behind his truck and we almost passed out.
- 55:08Speaker 10: I can't believe how fast he pulled up his pants
- 55:11Speaker 10: and climbed to the front seat. He yelled out to
- 55:14Speaker 10: her that he was going to follow her to the
- 55:15Speaker 10: restaurant so she would not have to get out of
- 55:17Speaker 10: her car. I was in the back trying to put
- 55:20Speaker 10: my wig on. He apologized over and over as he
- 55:24Speaker 10: left me in his car to go have lunch with
- 55:26Speaker 10: his wife. And I called an uber on his car alarm,
- 55:29Speaker 10: and his car alarm went off when I opened the
- 55:31Speaker 10: door to get out of the back seat. I hope
- 55:34Speaker 10: his wife saw me. I'm not accepting any of his apologies,
- 55:37Speaker 10: because if he really cared, he would have told his wife.
- 55:41Speaker 9: No.
- 55:41Speaker 10: Would I be wrong to tell his wife what happened
- 55:43Speaker 10: that day? You better be glad she had no idea
- 55:48Speaker 10: you were in the back of that truck. You already
- 55:51Speaker 10: know you would be wrong to tell his wife what
- 55:53Speaker 10: happened that day. The other thing is she doesn't sound
- 55:56Speaker 10: like anyone to play with, okay, don't play with her
- 55:59Speaker 10: as to term, and as she was to get her
- 56:02Speaker 10: husband to go to lunch with her that day, she
- 56:04Speaker 10: would stop at nothing to find you and whip your behind.
- 56:07Speaker 1: This was a very close call for you.
- 56:09Speaker 10: You don't seem to understand that, so be thankful that
- 56:13Speaker 10: you got out of the truck. And one piece finally,
- 56:15Speaker 10: and that his wife doesn't know you or what was
- 56:18Speaker 10: going on. There's nothing you can do anyway. I mean,
- 56:21Speaker 10: forget about getting him back, telling his wife and all
- 56:23Speaker 10: of that. He left you in there because there was
- 56:25Speaker 10: no way he could let his wife see you and
- 56:27Speaker 10: know that he was cheating at that moment. She's number
- 56:30Speaker 10: one period and that's why he's not going you know,
- 56:34Speaker 10: that's why he's not going to tell her anything. I
- 56:36Speaker 10: don't know why you would even think he'd tell her.
- 56:40Speaker 10: So let this go, Let him go, get your wig
- 56:44Speaker 10: and move on. Okay, you dodged a bullet. This could
- 56:46Speaker 10: have been way worse, Steve.
- 56:49Speaker 8: Well, lady, you started your letter off and you said
- 56:54Speaker 8: you told us you haven't lived until you get stuck
- 56:58Speaker 8: on the third row of and escalate. So I was
- 57:01Speaker 8: expecting this to be a thrill for you, and turns
- 57:04Speaker 8: out well it actually was. And you bragging body, Yeah,
- 57:07Speaker 8: you ain't lived till you've been on the third first escalade.
- 57:11Speaker 8: It's way better places to go, way better, you know,
- 57:17Speaker 8: Go get stuck in the sand in Tahiti somewhere.
- 57:20Speaker 2: Go go do something like that. Go, you know, get
- 57:24Speaker 2: a out of air balloon, Go somewhere.
- 57:25Speaker 8: You know your expectations is low the back of a truck.
- 57:32Speaker 8: That's you ain't live, girl, You ain't live to you
- 57:35Speaker 8: to got your wig blowed off in the back of
- 57:38Speaker 8: a truck. What it ain't enough room in that way
- 57:43Speaker 8: where your hat and fell off. It ain't even enough
- 57:46Speaker 8: room back there for you keep your hair. Lady, Come
- 57:49Speaker 8: on now, and I'm so disgusted that I don't care
- 57:53Speaker 8: if my ex boyfriend or his wife here this letter. Okay, cool,
- 57:56Speaker 8: if he your ex boyfriend, it's your ex boyfriend. But
- 58:00Speaker 8: you've always known he had a wife. Though you know
- 58:04Speaker 8: he didn't hide that from you. You knew the man
- 58:06Speaker 8: was married. You was dating a guy. He lived an
- 58:09Speaker 8: hour from you, so you went to had a business
- 58:11Speaker 8: meet in the city. You want to get a hug
- 58:13Speaker 8: and a kiss when he was in town. Tried to leave,
- 58:15Speaker 8: but he wanted more, so he convinced you to come
- 58:18Speaker 8: out in the parking lot with him. Y'all drove in
- 58:20Speaker 8: the back of it and got in the third row
- 58:22Speaker 8: to do a quickt Now here's where the letter. This
- 58:25Speaker 8: is what you want. It was such a thrill for
- 58:28Speaker 8: me because I had never done anything like that. Really, really,
- 58:36Speaker 8: you know they kill me in these letters when they
- 58:38Speaker 8: say I've never done anything like that. You sure know
- 58:41Speaker 8: how to get your heads back there, though, and then
- 58:46Speaker 8: told us we ain't lived till you've been stuck on
- 58:48Speaker 8: the third seat of an escalator. Girl, it sounded to
- 58:53Speaker 8: me like you know something. Anyway, I had my pants
- 58:57Speaker 8: off and my wig. See that that'll throw me in it?
- 59:03Speaker 1: What what say it said?
- 59:05Speaker 8: Don't I don't really, I don't want you to take
- 59:07Speaker 8: your wig off. Your pants off, that's cool, but please
- 59:11Speaker 8: don't take your wig off. I don't see the stocking
- 59:14Speaker 8: cap with these little braids in it and all this hell.
- 59:16Speaker 8: I don't want to see this dew rag up under
- 59:18Speaker 8: your head. I don't want to see your hair corn
- 59:21Speaker 8: road which with lint in it can't keep the wig,
- 59:24Speaker 8: can't keep the wing. It's just uncomfortable.
- 59:29Speaker 2: It's hot. It's hot.
- 59:30Speaker 8: I know it's hot, but come on, deal with it. Anyway,
- 59:36Speaker 8: I had my pants off and my wig. I mean,
- 59:39Speaker 8: we were really getting it on. My boyfriend phone kept ringing,
- 59:43Speaker 8: so he paused for a minute so he could answer.
- 59:45Speaker 8: It was his wife, and she told him she was
- 59:48Speaker 8: close to the job. She was coming up that half
- 59:50Speaker 8: lunch he tried to make up excuse. She said, wasn't
- 59:53Speaker 8: having it.
- 59:53Speaker 2: Meet me. We going to lunch. Then all of a sudden,
- 59:56Speaker 2: he said he was going to meet her in the
- 59:58Speaker 2: parking lot.
- 59:58Speaker 8: She pulled up behind the truck and we almost passed out.
- 1:00:05Speaker 10: Coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour, we'll
- 1:00:07Speaker 10: have part two of Steve's response today's Strawberry letter. Subject
- 1:00:12Speaker 10: is I mean, this is a good one right here,
- 1:00:15Speaker 10: stuck on the third row. We'll get back into it
- 1:00:17Speaker 10: right after this.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: You're listening hard morning show. All right, Come on, Steve,
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject stuck on the
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: third row.
- 1:00:28Speaker 8: This woman here talking about we ain't lived till you've
- 1:00:30Speaker 8: been on the third row of an escalade. But now
- 1:00:33Speaker 8: she disgusted and she don't care if her ex boyfriend
- 1:00:37Speaker 8: or his wife here this letter. So she's known the
- 1:00:39Speaker 8: man was married all along. You're dating the guy live
- 1:00:42Speaker 8: About an hour way. She went to do something in
- 1:00:44Speaker 8: town by the and she was fitting the lead. So
- 1:00:46Speaker 8: she went by a job to get a hug and
- 1:00:47Speaker 8: a kiss right quick. He wanted more. They end up
- 1:00:50Speaker 8: getting in their truck. He got to escalade, going around
- 1:00:52Speaker 8: in the back parking lot. She didne climbed in the
- 1:00:54Speaker 8: back seat, talking about it was such a three or
- 1:00:56Speaker 8: them me because I've never done anything like that like
- 1:00:58Speaker 8: this before. But your old las knew how to climb
- 1:01:00Speaker 8: in that back seat, though. So you got back there
- 1:01:03Speaker 8: and then it got hot back there, and you took
- 1:01:04Speaker 8: your wig off and your pants. Now I didn't mind
- 1:01:07Speaker 8: you taking pants off. Why we got take wig off?
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: We've been over this because it was moving and shifting
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: and hot.
- 1:01:15Speaker 8: That's the only thing in this letter that really bothered me.
- 1:01:18Speaker 8: Hey pants, why's what? Why's you taking your wig off?
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: I liked the wig.
- 1:01:26Speaker 8: I approved of it.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: I was there when you bought it. Had the little
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: lady come out the back.
- 1:01:31Speaker 8: You know, I couldn't understand what she was saying, but
- 1:01:33Speaker 8: she came out the back, and you know, we bought
- 1:01:35Speaker 8: the wig, and I said, cool. You know, I gave
- 1:01:37Speaker 8: you the money, high ass whigs. You're a four hundred
- 1:01:39Speaker 8: dollars weik.
- 1:01:39Speaker 14: You know.
- 1:01:39Speaker 8: It wasn't no regular wig, you know, because they had
- 1:01:41Speaker 8: them other wigs up there for thirty nine ninety five
- 1:01:43Speaker 8: and I totally I didn't like them because they and
- 1:01:46Speaker 8: any words of Richard Smiley I didn't like that one
- 1:01:48Speaker 8: because it looked like Easter egg grass I didn't wig.
- 1:01:55Speaker 8: So we went on some money on this good ass wig,
- 1:01:58Speaker 8: and you took it out and then kept ringing and
- 1:02:00Speaker 8: he didn't want an answer.
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: And then he finally answer and it was his wife.
- 1:02:03Speaker 8: She said she was in the air. She was coming
- 1:02:05Speaker 8: up to have lunch with him. He was trying to
- 1:02:06Speaker 8: make his excuse me. She wasn't having it. She said,
- 1:02:08Speaker 8: I'm putting up in the park lift. He said, don't
- 1:02:10Speaker 8: get out of the car. I'll be out there in
- 1:02:11Speaker 8: my car in the parking lit She pulled up right
- 1:02:14Speaker 8: behind the truck. While they was back there getting it on,
- 1:02:18Speaker 8: she said, we almost passed out. I can't believe how
- 1:02:22Speaker 8: fast He pulled up his pants and climbed to the
- 1:02:25Speaker 8: front seat.
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: Then he yelled out to there there, I'm gonna follow
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: you to the restaurant. That way.
- 1:02:31Speaker 8: You ain't got to get out the car. So now
- 1:02:33Speaker 8: she go back in there, he and she in the back.
- 1:02:37Speaker 8: You got to get these pants back on. She tried
- 1:02:39Speaker 8: to put her wig back on. Damn that wig. You
- 1:02:42Speaker 8: got to get these pants on. If you get these
- 1:02:45Speaker 8: pants on, I can fix the story. But you're sitting
- 1:02:48Speaker 8: up in here without this wig on. I don't know
- 1:02:51Speaker 8: how I'm gonna tell her this, my brother, but you
- 1:02:53Speaker 8: gotta get this wig on. But you have got to
- 1:02:58Speaker 8: get these pants on first. Damn that wig You can
- 1:03:01Speaker 8: leave a wig off. I'll just tell you, my brother,
- 1:03:03Speaker 8: that's all I can do if you just lead a
- 1:03:05Speaker 8: wig off. But you gotta get these pants on. That's
- 1:03:07Speaker 8: what I should have said. You gotta get paints on, okay.
- 1:03:09Speaker 8: And then and then as he left me in his
- 1:03:14Speaker 8: car to go to lunch with his wife, roll them down,
- 1:03:20Speaker 8: windows up, and left you in the car while he
- 1:03:25Speaker 8: went to lunch with his wife.
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: Well, you did a smart thing.
- 1:03:29Speaker 8: You stayed back there, because I'm telling you right now,
- 1:03:31Speaker 8: if you jumped out that car with him, it could
- 1:03:34Speaker 8: be in the end for you. You might not be
- 1:03:35Speaker 8: typing the letter. You'll be in the police report and
- 1:03:40Speaker 8: in a draw in a draw down at the mob.
- 1:03:44Speaker 8: So it's a good thing you stayed in there, he apologized,
- 1:03:48Speaker 8: over and over. As he left me in his car
- 1:03:51Speaker 8: to go have lunch with his wife, I called him
- 1:03:54Speaker 8: uber and his car limb went off. When I opened
- 1:03:57Speaker 8: the door to get out of the back seat, I
- 1:04:00Speaker 8: hope his wife saw me. I'm not accepting any of
- 1:04:05Speaker 8: his apologies, because if he really cared, he would have
- 1:04:10Speaker 8: told his wife. No, she down there, she at the job,
- 1:04:16Speaker 8: she behind him in the truck. Right, This ain't the
- 1:04:21Speaker 8: time to say no. Would I be wrong to tell
- 1:04:26Speaker 8: his wife what happened that day? Of course you would.
- 1:04:30Speaker 8: You wasn't telling her what happened no other day, So
- 1:04:32Speaker 8: why you want to tell her what happened today? All
- 1:04:35Speaker 8: them other times you've been seeing this guy that lived
- 1:04:37Speaker 8: an hour a way, you wasn't worried about it. But
- 1:04:41Speaker 8: now something, Now you've had to pay a price for it.
- 1:04:43Speaker 8: Now you want to tell his wife what I be wrong? Yes,
- 1:04:46Speaker 8: you'd be wrong. You would be wrong for that, because
- 1:04:50Speaker 8: the only reason he climbed in the back seat of
- 1:04:53Speaker 8: that escalade is because you drove up there and let
- 1:04:57Speaker 8: him put you in the back seat of the exp
- 1:05:00Speaker 8: That's see, why don't you to take responsibility for your
- 1:05:03Speaker 8: part of it? The only reason it was going so
- 1:05:06Speaker 8: good back there, and you had your pants off and
- 1:05:10Speaker 8: your wig off. You took your pants off and you
- 1:05:14Speaker 8: took your wig off. Now, we've all helped a lot
- 1:05:18Speaker 8: of people slide out of pasts before you know.

- 1:05:31Speaker 8: of them bout yourself because they're probably tight and you
- 1:05:34Speaker 8: can't got a little help getting out the pans. She
- 1:05:37Speaker 8: took the wig off yourself, though you don't really need
- 1:05:39Speaker 8: no help. You took that off yourself. You can, you
- 1:05:41Speaker 8: can do it, but hot, real hard. You can pull
- 1:05:45Speaker 8: off this hot will it's hot now because she behind
- 1:05:48Speaker 8: y'all with the lights.
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: On going on too while your car shaken.
- 1:05:55Speaker 8: So yeah, yeah, you be dead wrong for telling his
- 1:05:57Speaker 8: wife what happened today because you never wanted to tell
- 1:06:00Speaker 8: her what happened all them other days when you.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: Was cheating with her husband.
- 1:06:05Speaker 8: Once again, why do men cheat oftentimes because there are
- 1:06:09Speaker 8: so many women who are willing to cheat with them.
- 1:06:12Speaker 8: Y'all could stop y'all's own pain with each other if
- 1:06:16Speaker 8: you all would just stick together and not sleep with
- 1:06:19Speaker 8: the other person's husband. But if you're willing to do that,
- 1:06:23Speaker 8: you have to pass some of the responsibility.
- 1:06:26Speaker 6: All right.

- 1:19:43Speaker 10: through it. Steve Harvey is gonna close out the show
- 1:19:45Speaker 10: for us at forty nine minutes after right after this,
- 1:19:48Speaker 10: you're listening.
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: Morning show. All right here we are, guys, our last
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: break of the day on this Friday of the week.
- 1:19:56Speaker 10: We want to thank first of all Steve Kirk Franklin
- 1:19:59Speaker 10: for joining us earlier today. His documentary Father's Day, A
- 1:20:03Speaker 10: Kirk Franklin Story, is streaming right now on his YouTube channel.
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: Check it out.
- 1:20:07Speaker 8: How crazy story, right, y'all got to go check this out.
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: Yeah, you found out you're not his dad.
- 1:20:14Speaker 2: That was That's all I needed.
- 1:20:18Speaker 8: Thought that need nothing else. This week, Lord, it's been
- 1:20:24Speaker 8: one I do not need to be trending, No, damn.
- 1:20:33Speaker 8: But you know, man, it's I've been I've been learning
- 1:20:38Speaker 8: so many things. And my closing remarks this week, man,
- 1:20:43Speaker 8: it's just been sharing with people who's going through situations
- 1:20:48Speaker 8: and you know more, a lot of stuff you end
- 1:20:52Speaker 8: up going through is just beyond your control. You know,
- 1:20:55Speaker 8: it's circumstance. You know, you find yourself in a city situation,
- 1:21:00Speaker 8: or you find yourself something happened or a consequence, something
- 1:21:06Speaker 8: just besets you.
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: You don't know.
- 1:21:08Speaker 2: It's just life, man.
- 1:21:10Speaker 8: But some of these parts of life is so unfair,
- 1:21:14Speaker 8: it seems, you know, because life oftentimes sometimes it's not
- 1:21:19Speaker 8: fair because your life is intertwined with other people, and
- 1:21:24Speaker 8: sometimes another person's decision can affect you just because you're
- 1:21:29Speaker 8: associated with them.
- 1:21:32Speaker 2: You know, a lot comes.
- 1:21:33Speaker 8: Along with being famous, a lot, a lot that you
- 1:21:37Speaker 8: don't ask for, bank on, count on, visualize, and it's become.
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: Such an ugly.
- 1:21:45Speaker 8: Thing sometimes to be famous, and what we're experiencing right now,
- 1:21:51Speaker 8: that's something I have to bear. But everybody has something
- 1:21:54Speaker 8: to bear. Everybody. You can be not famous at all,
- 1:22:00Speaker 8: or everybody got something to bear. Life has splices and
- 1:22:06Speaker 8: slices and pieces for all of us that just don't
- 1:22:10Speaker 8: taste good. Life ain't all pie. Now, life ain't pie.
- 1:22:15Speaker 8: I wish it was, but it ain't. Some of this
- 1:22:18Speaker 8: stuff is just plain old sugar honey iced tea.
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: And it don't even have to be from you. You
- 1:22:27Speaker 2: you're just a part of it.
- 1:22:28Speaker 8: But you know what I've learned, man, and it's sort
- 1:22:31Speaker 8: of fun. I was sharing it with my morning crew
- 1:22:33Speaker 8: this morning. You know how they got those numbers that
- 1:22:36Speaker 8: people can change their numbers so you don't recognize it,
- 1:22:39Speaker 8: you know, And they got that they run it through
- 1:22:40Speaker 8: an app and then but I've already figured out how
- 1:22:43Speaker 8: that works because I have, you know, very smart people,
- 1:22:46Speaker 8: because I have to protect myself oftentimes. Well, somebody I
- 1:22:51Speaker 8: know did one of those things through their app and
- 1:22:55Speaker 8: was able to text me but make it look like
- 1:22:58Speaker 8: another number, so they contact show up. But I have
- 1:23:01Speaker 8: a way of doing that.
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: And you know what they said to me.
- 1:23:06Speaker 8: And I was always suspicious of this dude anyway, But
- 1:23:09Speaker 8: his text to me was, hey, Steve, where your God?
- 1:23:13Speaker 8: And now in a laughing emoji. And you know what,
- 1:23:18Speaker 8: I didn't get mad or nothing. I answered the question
- 1:23:21Speaker 8: not to him, but I answered the question out loud.
- 1:23:25Speaker 8: My God is right here. My God is where he
- 1:23:28Speaker 8: always been for me. He right here. As a matter
- 1:23:32Speaker 8: of fact, he done tucked me and Marjorie up under
- 1:23:35Speaker 8: his wings.
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: Were good.
- 1:23:38Speaker 8: These slings and arrows you shooting, They not doing the
- 1:23:40Speaker 8: damage you thought. They not that fire you started. We
- 1:23:45Speaker 8: feel the heat, it's hot, but we ain't getting burned.
- 1:23:50Speaker 8: The thing that my enemy has set out to use
- 1:23:53Speaker 8: to destroy me. God gonna flip all that and turn
- 1:23:56Speaker 8: it for good. Now, do I know how absolutely not.
- 1:24:00Speaker 8: Do I know what this is for what it's about,
- 1:24:02Speaker 8: Absolutely not. But you know what, My God is a
- 1:24:07Speaker 8: good God. He's a loving God, and I can't tell
- 1:24:10Speaker 8: you how many lemons in my life he didn't turn
- 1:24:13Speaker 8: it into lemonade. I can't even count the times. Do
- 1:24:17Speaker 8: you know how many times God has protected you from
- 1:24:19Speaker 8: your enemies and you didn't even know it? Do you
- 1:24:21Speaker 8: know how many people meant evil for you and God
- 1:24:23Speaker 8: turned around and made it good? You know how many
- 1:24:26Speaker 8: people then dug a hole for you and wound up
- 1:24:29Speaker 8: getting in it thyself.
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: Do you know how many times God came to your rescue?
- 1:24:37Speaker 2: I can't even count the time. So why would he
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: leave me?
- 1:24:39Speaker 15: Now?
- 1:24:41Speaker 8: God didn't bring me this far to leave me. See
- 1:24:44Speaker 8: I'm sure about this. So you know where God at.
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: He right here and all this is is a test
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: of my faith, That's all it is.
- 1:24:54Speaker 8: But since it's a test of my faith, let me
- 1:24:57Speaker 8: show you how I'm passing it because I'm calling God
- 1:25:00Speaker 8: God out on his word. God's promises is true, that
- 1:25:03Speaker 8: he would never leave me off of safe me, that
- 1:25:06Speaker 8: he would protect me and shield me from my enemies,
- 1:25:09Speaker 8: that he would make my enemies my footstool.
- 1:25:11Speaker 2: I'm just sitting here.
- 1:25:12Speaker 8: Man.
- 1:25:13Speaker 2: Do I like it? Nope? Nope, not at all. Are
- 1:25:16Speaker 2: we human? Yes?
- 1:25:17Speaker 7: We are.
- 1:25:18Speaker 8: When you are going through things out there, folks, I
- 1:25:22Speaker 8: understand you're human. You have the right to be hurt
- 1:25:26Speaker 8: or be sad. Noor wonder why because you're human. But
- 1:25:29Speaker 8: y'all form a relationship with God and let God give
- 1:25:34Speaker 8: you the strength you need to endure. You can't remove
- 1:25:38Speaker 8: problems from life. You can't stop the enemy from attacking you.
- 1:25:43Speaker 8: For what you can have is a relationship with God
- 1:25:46Speaker 8: that he gives you the strength to endure and protect you.
- 1:25:49Speaker 8: And what they do for evil will bring no harm
- 1:25:53Speaker 8: to you. I'm telling y'all, man, God is real. Please
- 1:25:57Speaker 8: form a relationship with God. He would provide you with
- 1:25:59Speaker 8: the love peace. That's unexplainable. It's people doing it. Man,
- 1:26:03Speaker 8: I don't know how y'all taking it. Because we got God.
- 1:26:06Speaker 8: You should have a relationship with God so when they
- 1:26:09Speaker 8: come for you, you got some form. That's what I'm learning.
- 1:26:14Speaker 8: That's what I'm sharing with y'all. God is good man,
- 1:26:17Speaker 8: even when it's going bad, he's still good. Hey, talk
- 1:26:22Speaker 8: to God today. He'd love to hear from you. Y'all
