- 0:00Speaker 1: If you woke up this morning and you went to
- 0:01Speaker 1: get gas, you are paying the highest price we've ever
- 0:04Speaker 1: paid in the history of this country for gasoline. It's
- 0:08Speaker 1: more than yesterday, by the way, and there's no end
- 0:10Speaker 1: in sight. We also now know that the president of the
- 0:14Speaker 1: the United States of America is so weak that even
- 0:16Speaker 1: Saudi Arabia and the UAE leaders are purposefully ignoring Joe
- 0:21Speaker 1: Biden's phone calls to talk about oil production. And Joe
- 0:26Speaker 1: Biden is lying to the country, so are his advisors.
- 0:30Speaker 1: One of his advisors, standing in front of the White
- 0:33Speaker 1: House this morning, said this to you if you're struggling
- 0:37Speaker 1: to cover your bills. What I can tell you, though, Willie,
- 0:40Speaker 1: is even if we drilled as much as we could,
- 0:45Speaker 1: the price of oil is still set globally demand and
- 0:49Speaker 1: supply conditions, and much of that supply is controlled by
- 0:52Speaker 1: tyrants like Pooding. And again, that's why we have resolved
- 0:56Speaker 1: to speed our transition towards cleaner, more sustainable, and renewable
- 1:00Speaker 1: sources of energy. There it is, We're gonna lie to you.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Even if we drilled as much as we could, it
- 1:07Speaker 1: wouldn't affect the price of oil. That's a lie. The
- 1:10Speaker 1: price of oil is set globally, that is true, and
- 1:13Speaker 1: the more supply we have, the lower the prices go.
- 1:17Speaker 1: How do you think the President of United States of America,
- 1:19Speaker 1: Donald Trump, kept prices low for the entire four years
- 1:22Speaker 1: he was in office by actually being energy independent and yes,
- 1:27Speaker 1: putting our oil on the global market supply and watching
- 1:31Speaker 1: the numbers drop. Now the Biden administration is flat out
- 1:35Speaker 1: lying to you. Why are they doing this to exactly why?
- 1:40Speaker 1: Because they the Democrats, have an ideology that is based
- 1:45Speaker 1: on punishment for you. There's a very interesting point that
- 1:49Speaker 1: was made yesterday on Fox. Greg Gutfield said, the soaring
- 1:54Speaker 1: gas prices across the country aren't about what's happening Ukraine,
- 1:58Speaker 1: even though the present lied and yesterday said in Texas well,
- 2:02Speaker 1: the price of oil you need to blame Putin for that.
- 2:04Speaker 1: We know the prices have been going up since the
- 2:06Speaker 1: very first day was in office when he stopped the
- 2:08Speaker 1: Keystone XL pipeline. And he wants you to believe that
- 2:12Speaker 1: all of the high prices you're paying right now are
- 2:14Speaker 1: because of Russia and Ukraine and this conflict, this war,
- 2:18Speaker 1: this genocide as I would describe it. It's not that
- 2:23Speaker 1: Instead it is about an ideology of punishment until you submit.
- 2:30Speaker 1: They were discussing Biden and how he announced that he
- 2:32Speaker 1: was putting a stop quote to imports of Russian oil.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Why because he was responding too late to Russian present
- 2:40Speaker 1: Vitamir Putin invading Ukraine on February the twenty fourth. The
- 2:44Speaker 1: panel discussed how Biden is now trying to blame Russia
- 2:47Speaker 1: for the surgeon gas prices, even though only eight percent
- 2:52Speaker 1: of imports into this country are coming from Russia. This
- 2:57Speaker 1: could easily be absorbed if we were willing to roll more. Yes,
- 3:03Speaker 1: even if we hit up Canada for more oil, it
- 3:06Speaker 1: could help. But what this is about is the President
- 3:10Speaker 1: is framing the increase in cost of the pump has
- 3:13Speaker 1: quote a hardship that you, as an American must accept.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Biden said, defending freedom comes at a cost, and that
- 3:23Speaker 1: is not true. It's not true. It's the environmental clap
- 3:28Speaker 1: trap that comes at a cost. This is not about freedom.
- 3:32Speaker 1: There would be no cost if we didn't demonize drilling,
- 3:36Speaker 1: which is exactly what the left and Joe Biden have done.
- 3:40Speaker 1: If we didn't demonize pipelines, we wouldn't be shutting them down.
- 3:45Speaker 1: But that's what the left is done. If we didn't
- 3:47Speaker 1: demonize in general, or the left didn't demonize in general
- 3:51Speaker 1: fossil fuels, we wouldn't be in the scenario we are
- 3:54Speaker 1: right now. So it is not about defending Ukraine. It's
- 4:00Speaker 1: about exposing the destructiveness of the green ideology, which is
- 4:05Speaker 1: part of a larger ideology of punishment rich countries. Their
- 4:11Speaker 1: mentality is, can handle this, just pay more for gas.
- 4:16Speaker 1: It's the poor countries that are going to suffer, and
- 4:19Speaker 1: it's going to be poor people in the United States
- 4:21Speaker 1: of America that are suffering the most. So let's go
- 4:24Speaker 1: to late night TV for a moment. Late night TV
- 4:29Speaker 1: is mocking you. One of the hosts last night of
- 4:32Speaker 1: one of the late shows thought it would be funny
- 4:34Speaker 1: to tell you that he can pay fifteen dollars a
- 4:36Speaker 1: gallon for gas. He doesn't care why, because he's got
- 4:42Speaker 1: a tesla. Stephen Colbert on the US ban on Russian oil.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Take that vlad America doesn't need your klepto crude is
- 4:51Speaker 1: apparently the only way you need to describe it. This
- 4:54Speaker 1: is how ignorant the left actually is as they try
- 4:57Speaker 1: to sell this insanity. Now, Jimmy fallon on McDonald's closing
- 5:03Speaker 1: in Russia, saying quote, we don't want their oil and
- 5:07Speaker 1: they can't have our Greece, referring to McDonald's again. This
- 5:11Speaker 1: is all funny, right, This is all hilarious. Everybody just
- 5:15Speaker 1: laugh about it. Nothing to see here, It's all okay.
- 5:19Speaker 1: And this is what the left actually believes. They believe
- 5:22Speaker 1: that you have an obligation to suck it up and
- 5:26Speaker 1: go buy your fifty sixty seventy thousand dollars electric car,
- 5:30Speaker 1: and they're going to punish you until you do it,
- 5:33Speaker 1: because the Democratic Party is an ideology of punishment for
- 5:38Speaker 1: those that don't submit. It's no different than what we
- 5:41Speaker 1: just experienced with all the COVID, which is all of
- 5:43Speaker 1: a sudden just disappeared with fauci. Have you noticed that
- 5:47Speaker 1: Because there's an election coming, this isn't about defending Ukraine,
- 5:53Speaker 1: this isn't about Vladimir Putin. This is about forcing you
- 5:56Speaker 1: to pay more, and this is their opportunity to do it.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Twitter celebrities like George Taki are now saying you should
- 6:06Speaker 1: just pay more, and they're claiming that you should pay
- 6:09Speaker 1: more to quote support Ukraine. Well, guess what these scumbags
- 6:14Speaker 1: aren't truckers, they're not salesmen, they're not uber drivers. This
- 6:21Speaker 1: is the same detached mentality that we found ourselves with
- 6:24Speaker 1: the shutdowns. Everybody could handle a shutdown if they were
- 6:27Speaker 1: in the media, right because in the Hollywood movie stars
- 6:31Speaker 1: and the rich elie like Joe Biden, because everybody did
- 6:34Speaker 1: their jobs from home, from their living rooms. These are
- 6:38Speaker 1: the same people that tell us to live with it.
- 6:41Speaker 1: These are the same people, by the way, that can
- 6:42Speaker 1: live with anything. This is why you have arrogant people
- 6:46Speaker 1: in late night TV that say you can raise old
- 6:48Speaker 1: of fifteen dollars a gallon. It didn't bother me, right,
- 6:50Speaker 1: because they make millions of dollars and they drive a Tesla.
- 6:54Speaker 1: So it's either climate change or COVID or inflation. They
- 6:59Speaker 1: don't care. They want you to submit. There's an ideology
- 7:04Speaker 1: of punishment for those that don't submit, and if you
- 7:07Speaker 1: can't handle the punishment, that's your fault, because they are
- 7:12Speaker 1: in fact above it. Now the media is clamoring for
- 7:17Speaker 1: Biden to pass out more permits and leases right to
- 7:19Speaker 1: fix the costs at the pump, because they understand that
- 7:22Speaker 1: the American people are starting to wake up to this
- 7:24Speaker 1: and saying this is absurd. Yet at the same time
- 7:27Speaker 1: they're telling Americans that there's nothing and they're allowing this
- 7:30Speaker 1: propaganda to be put out there, that there's nothing that
- 7:32Speaker 1: we could do to change this or fix this. So
- 7:35Speaker 1: let's go back to how weak we are as a country.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Let's look at Saudi Arabia and the UAE leaders. They
- 7:42Speaker 1: are ignoring Biden when he's calling to talk to them
- 7:46Speaker 1: about gas prices. We now have confirmation that the leaders
- 7:51Speaker 1: of Saudi Arabia and the United Air of Emrates wouldn't
- 7:54Speaker 1: pick up the phone when President Biden try to call
- 7:57Speaker 1: them to discuss boosting oil exports to offset hikes linked
- 8:01Speaker 1: to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. According to new reports, we're
- 8:05Speaker 1: being told that the Saudi Crown Prince and the UAE
- 8:09Speaker 1: Chik declined Biden's attempts to an outreach to them. The
- 8:14Speaker 1: Wall Street Journal has reported and confirmed there was some
- 8:18Speaker 1: expectation of a phone call, but it didn't happen. A
- 8:21Speaker 1: US official confirmed to the newspaper quote it was part
- 8:24Speaker 1: of a turning on the spicket of Saudi oil campaign.
- 8:28Speaker 1: I remember yesterday I told you, and it's in our podcast.
- 8:31Speaker 1: If you missed it about us releasing the twentieth hijacker
- 8:36Speaker 1: from Guantanamo Bay back to Saudi Arabia. You want to
- 8:39Speaker 1: know why we did that. It's because we now need
- 8:42Speaker 1: Saudi to give us more oil, and Saudi Arabia wanted
- 8:45Speaker 1: that terrorist back. Now. Biden, acting like he's doing some
- 8:51Speaker 1: great thing. On Tuesday morning, banned Russian oil imports and
- 8:55Speaker 1: said gasoline prices quote would increase even more after hitting
- 8:58Speaker 1: an all time high of four hours and seventeen cents
- 9:00Speaker 1: per gallon on average nationwide. And he said, look, it's
- 9:04Speaker 1: just going to happen if you either. There's not much
- 9:06Speaker 1: else I can do. That's a lie. We could open
- 9:09Speaker 1: the Keystone pipeline, we could do so much more. But instead,
- 9:14Speaker 1: what is Biden doing. He's attempting to woo an array
- 9:17Speaker 1: of horrific dictators around the country, around the world, I
- 9:21Speaker 1: should say, including a Ran Saudi Arabia Venezuela to offset
- 9:25Speaker 1: the impact of Russian invasion of Ukraine on energy markets,
- 9:28Speaker 1: not having energy independence because he doesn't want that. Because
- 9:32Speaker 1: I go back to what I said a moment ago,
- 9:35Speaker 1: this is the Democratic Party's ideology of punishment. It is
- 9:41Speaker 1: no different than cancel culture. It's no different than COVID
- 9:43Speaker 1: nineteen lockdowns. There is an ideology of theirs that is
- 9:48Speaker 1: of punishment until you submit. There's also another aspect of
- 9:54Speaker 1: this entire story right now, and it's a media play.
- 9:58Speaker 1: I guess with a White House, they're trying to convince
- 10:02Speaker 1: you through the media that there's certain things they just
- 10:05Speaker 1: can't controlling, they can't do anything about. Joe Biden literally
- 10:09Speaker 1: shrugged off high gas prices yesterday saying, quote, I can't
- 10:12Speaker 1: do much right now. All right, So let's talk about
- 10:16Speaker 1: the facts real quick. For a guy that says it
- 10:18Speaker 1: can't do much right now, and for a White House
- 10:20Speaker 1: that says they can't control the price of gas, and
- 10:22Speaker 1: even if we were drilling more in America, it would
- 10:24Speaker 1: have no impact on gas prices. Let's do a little comparison.
- 10:31Speaker 1: In twenty twenty one, under Biden, America produced one point
- 10:36Speaker 1: one million barrels of oil per day, less than twenty
- 10:42Speaker 1: nineteen when Donald Trump was the present one point one
- 10:44Speaker 1: million barrels less per day. Now, to be clear, since
- 10:50Speaker 1: we're producing less than less oil one point one million
- 10:53Speaker 1: barrels per day than we did in two in nineteen,
- 10:57Speaker 1: you may want to know how many barrels on average
- 10:59Speaker 1: are we bringing into this country from Russia Russian oil.
- 11:04Speaker 1: We're only bringing in two hundred nine thousand barrels of
- 11:06Speaker 1: Russian all a day. So if you do two hundred
- 11:10Speaker 1: and nine thousand barrels of Russian all a day and
- 11:13Speaker 1: you take that away from one point one, that means
- 11:15Speaker 1: there's still about nine hundred thousand barrels of oil a
- 11:20Speaker 1: day that we are still producing less if we also
- 11:24Speaker 1: compensated for Russia. Just think if Biden would let us
- 11:29Speaker 1: produce those one point one million barrels again, then America
- 11:33Speaker 1: doesn't need a single drop of oil from Russia, or
- 11:36Speaker 1: Venezuela for that matter, or anyone else. But this goes
- 11:42Speaker 1: back to what I told you. The Democratic Party is
- 11:45Speaker 1: an ideology of punishment, and they will punish you until
- 11:48Speaker 1: you get in line. Head of Gas Buddy, which is
- 11:53Speaker 1: an app that follows gas prices, has actually now come
- 11:57Speaker 1: out saying we need to quote you need to cur
- 12:00Speaker 1: herb right your oil consumption. This goes back to what
- 12:04Speaker 1: I said. They want you to be punished until you
- 12:08Speaker 1: submit to go get that car that they demand, or
- 12:11Speaker 1: put on a coat in your house and stop getting
- 12:13Speaker 1: the heating oil. If you don't like the prices, then
- 12:16Speaker 1: you need to become energy independent. The head of gas
- 12:18Speaker 1: Bunnies now gas Buddies now calling for Americans to curb
- 12:22Speaker 1: their oil consumption. You look at what's going on in
- 12:24Speaker 1: Ukraine and how the Ukrainians are all banning together as
- 12:27Speaker 1: a country, We as Americans, can do the same thing
- 12:30Speaker 1: by curbing our oil consumption at least for a couple
- 12:33Speaker 1: of months on because you know what, that's probably better
- 12:35Speaker 1: than going to Venezuela. I've talked to those in the
- 12:37Speaker 1: Permian basin. Then they cannadas. So many supply challenges. I mean,
- 12:43Speaker 1: this guy, and this is part of what I've been saying.
- 12:47Speaker 1: You got gas prices now hitting the most expensive in
- 12:49Speaker 1: US history, breaking records from two thousand and eight, when
- 12:53Speaker 1: oddly enough, another Democrat was in office by the name
- 12:55Speaker 1: of Barack Obama. And now you've got these elitist out there. Well,
- 12:59Speaker 1: if you guys just band together, If you'll just band together.
- 13:02Speaker 1: It sounds like the same thing they answer to do
- 13:03Speaker 1: with COVID, Right, if you'll just help us stop the
- 13:06Speaker 1: you know the curve, right for two weeks, stop the
- 13:10Speaker 1: spread for two weeks. Just wear those masks for two weeks,
- 13:12Speaker 1: shut down your businesses for two weeks, take your kids
- 13:15Speaker 1: out of the schools for two weeks. Cancel everything for
- 13:17Speaker 1: two weeks. Then everything will be fine. It's all you
- 13:22Speaker 1: gotta do two weeks to flatten the curve. Right, remember that,
- 13:25Speaker 1: take everyone's freedom away from them, and be a team player.
- 13:29Speaker 1: And if you don't, then you're trying to kill us. Right.
- 13:31Speaker 1: If you don't, you're trying to kill all Americans. Right,
- 13:34Speaker 1: you're trying to kill grandma. If you just, you know,
- 13:36Speaker 1: if you'll just be a team player like the people
- 13:39Speaker 1: in Ukraine and don't go see grandma. Right, If you
- 13:41Speaker 1: just be a team player and start realizing that you
- 13:44Speaker 1: need to go get you a vest buck, be a
- 13:46Speaker 1: team player, and you need to start ride sharing to work.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Be a team player and suck it up and turn
- 13:51Speaker 1: your heat down, then everything will be just fine. And
- 13:56Speaker 1: they're lying to you. They're telling you that this president
- 13:59Speaker 1: can't do anything. As president is telling you they can't
- 14:02Speaker 1: do anything. Right. Instead of addressing gas prices, the BUYD
- 14:07Speaker 1: administration wants you to buy price electric cars. Hannity talked
- 14:13Speaker 1: about this last night spot on about this again ideology
- 14:18Speaker 1: a punishment you will suffer until you agree with the
- 14:21Speaker 1: way we tell you to live your life. Eero emissions
- 14:25Speaker 1: clean transportation can bring significant cost savings for the American
- 14:28Speaker 1: people as well. Last month, we announced a five billion
- 14:32Speaker 1: dollar investment to build that a nationwide electric vehicle charging
- 14:35Speaker 1: a network so the people from rural to suburban to
- 14:38Speaker 1: urban communities can all benefit. So we're going to put
- 14:41Speaker 1: five billion dollars right now, not into energy independence, but
- 14:44Speaker 1: into charging stations so you can drive around the country
- 14:47Speaker 1: while we tell you to go buy that fifty to
- 14:49Speaker 1: seventy thousand dollars electric vehicle. From the gas savings of
- 14:52Speaker 1: driving an EV. As long as rural imagining, imagine America
- 14:56Speaker 1: at a strong president, vice president, and a transportation secretary
- 15:00Speaker 1: that had a little bit of life experience, this would
- 15:03Speaker 1: be great for Tesla. I'm intrigued by Elon Musk. I
- 15:06Speaker 1: love innovation, I love new technology, and it's very expensive.
- 15:11Speaker 1: If people can't put the gas in their car, I
- 15:13Speaker 1: doubt they can afford some of these vehicles. So instead
- 15:16Speaker 1: of taking steps to lower gas prices, they just want
- 15:20Speaker 1: you all to go out and buy a pricey new
- 15:24Speaker 1: electric car. Look at your screen. By the way, this
- 15:27Speaker 1: is a great car. A friend of mine actually has one,
- 15:29Speaker 1: a Tesla Model three that'll run you about fifty grand.
- 15:32Speaker 1: I'm told from my friend he really loves it. The
- 15:34Speaker 1: new Ford Mustang electric car that costs about forty five grand.
- 15:38Speaker 1: The Chevy Bolt not exactly the most impressive car that
- 15:41Speaker 1: I'd want to drive, but that's thirty grand, just to
- 15:44Speaker 1: name a few. And by the way, don't forget, after
- 15:46Speaker 1: you buy the car, you might have to install a
- 15:48Speaker 1: pricey home charging station that'll cost you a lot. And
- 15:52Speaker 1: for example, in New York, and installation can cost between
- 15:55Speaker 1: two and ten thousand dollars from parts and labor. Whoopsie daisy,
- 16:00Speaker 1: Maybe some people who choose to pay the high gas prices. Now,
- 16:03Speaker 1: could these far left lunatics be any more tone deaf?
- 16:07Speaker 1: They are that out of touch. They don't seem to care,
- 16:11Speaker 1: completely disconnected from reality. They'd rather have higher inflation than
- 16:15Speaker 1: drill here, drill now and save money. They'd rather literally
- 16:19Speaker 1: push our allies into Putin's arms than to drill here,
- 16:23Speaker 1: drill now, frac here, frac now, and supply their energy needs.
- 16:27Speaker 1: You know the reaction Fox. By the way, I do
- 16:30Speaker 1: think that this is they're not detached from reality. I
- 16:33Speaker 1: disagree with that statement. This is the ideology of punishment
- 16:39Speaker 1: when you're filling up your car with five dollars gallon gas.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Joe Biden is the one that banned drilling unfederallyland the
- 16:45Speaker 1: day came into office. Joe Biden's the one that signed
- 16:48Speaker 1: the executive order to close the Keystone Pipeline the day
- 16:50Speaker 1: he came into office. Joe Biden is the one that
- 16:53Speaker 1: came in and gave putin a pipeline to Europe. Joe
- 16:58Speaker 1: Biden's the guy that's calling thee and the guy who's
- 17:01Speaker 1: calling Saudi Arabia and releasing the twentieth hijacker of nine
- 17:05Speaker 1: eleven from Gitmo to beg them for more oil because
- 17:08Speaker 1: he refuses to drill here. Saudi Crown prints and the
- 17:13Speaker 1: UAE chic declined the President of the United States of
- 17:17Speaker 1: America's phone calls, and then Biden says, well, there's nothing
- 17:21Speaker 1: we can do here right can't do much right now.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Yesterday afternoon in Texas on the tarmac, he was asked
- 17:27Speaker 1: about this and what the American people can need to know,
- 17:29Speaker 1: and he said he can't do much right now to
- 17:32Speaker 1: stop prices gas prices from increasing. Biden now is attempting
- 17:37Speaker 1: to woo an array of the worst dictators and tyrants
- 17:41Speaker 1: people that commit genocide in the world, including Iran, including
- 17:44Speaker 1: Saudi Arabia, including Venezuela, where he sent a secret delegation
- 17:48Speaker 1: to go meet with Mdura to offset the impact of
- 17:51Speaker 1: Russians in vage of Ukraine on the energy markets. We're
- 17:55Speaker 1: now being told that Biden apparently is considering a trip
- 17:57Speaker 1: to Saudi Arabia this spring to resolve quote hard feelings
- 18:00Speaker 1: with a country's in fact a ruler who the US
- 18:03Speaker 1: intelligence community believes ordered the twenty eighteen operation of dismembering
- 18:07Speaker 1: a Washington Post calumnists with a bone saw. You may
- 18:10Speaker 1: remember that story. We're also being told the US diplomats
- 18:14Speaker 1: are working to broker a new nuclear deal with a
- 18:16Speaker 1: Ran in exchange for sanctions relief, and other diplomats have
- 18:21Speaker 1: been dispatched to smooth over another riff with Venezuela's socialist
- 18:25Speaker 1: strongman Maduro, who, by the way, the US government does
- 18:28Speaker 1: not even recognize the country's legitimate ruler because we shouldn't,
- 18:31Speaker 1: but apparently we may change that status. Biden canceled that
- 18:35Speaker 1: construction of the Keison XO pipeline last year, attempted to
- 18:38Speaker 1: halt all new drilling permits on public land last year,
- 18:42Speaker 1: and now Biden's having to signal a change in tone
- 18:44Speaker 1: towards Saudi Arabia after taking office, with drawing US support
- 18:48Speaker 1: for the Saudi led intervention Yeoman Civil War. It's the
- 18:51Speaker 1: same guy that didn't sanction the Crown Prince after the
- 18:54Speaker 1: murder of that Washington Post and the dismemberment of the
- 18:57Speaker 1: Washington Post writer. And now they're not even taking our
- 19:02Speaker 1: phone calls because they realize that when you have an
- 19:05Speaker 1: ideology of punishment with this administration, they own you something
- 19:12Speaker 1: else that Biden's also doing right now, which is just
- 19:14Speaker 1: a lie, as he's also blaming oil companies for these
- 19:19Speaker 1: price hikes, and that means the next option would be
- 19:22Speaker 1: for him to do basically price manipulation, and if that happens,
- 19:29Speaker 1: you get us back into the scenario we ran back
- 19:31Speaker 1: in the late nineteen seventies when we actually tried to
- 19:34Speaker 1: do that, Jimmy Carter tried to do it. It It was
- 19:36Speaker 1: a disaster, and everybody knows that that was a disaster,
- 19:41Speaker 1: and now that's what he's talking about at this moment.
- 19:43Speaker 1: So everybody's a bad guy. But him right. Biden's advisor
- 19:48Speaker 1: also went on TV today said no amount of domestic
- 19:50Speaker 1: production would reduce gas prices, and we need to transition, again,
- 19:55Speaker 1: forcing you into submission, saying we must transition. You just
- 19:57Speaker 1: need to get over it. You need to insulate your
- 19:59Speaker 1: house better. You need to go buy this electric car,
- 20:01Speaker 1: and you just spend the five ten grand and put
- 20:03Speaker 1: the charging station in your house, and you just need it.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Stuck it up, America. The medium and long term, I
- 20:09Speaker 1: think it's the path and the trajectory is clear. There
- 20:13Speaker 1: is no amount of domestic production that we can do
- 20:16Speaker 1: when we are dealing with a volatile global commodity where
- 20:19Speaker 1: the price is set globally. There's no amount of domestic
- 20:22Speaker 1: production we can do to reduce or eliminate our vulnerability
- 20:25Speaker 1: as a country to that volatility. The only way to
- 20:28Speaker 1: do that is to reduce the energy intensity of the
- 20:30Speaker 1: economy overall, which means shifting to cleaner sources of energy.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Every one of these people saying this to you right
- 20:36Speaker 1: now are rich and they can afford it. Ted Cruz
- 20:41Speaker 1: came out saying that the Biden administration's energy policy is
- 20:45Speaker 1: not only incoherent, but even what they're making and the
- 20:48Speaker 1: dots are trying to connect. Just doesn't make any sense
- 20:50Speaker 1: at all. Home, there's a record setting pain at the pump,
- 20:53Speaker 1: getting worse by the day. Americans now pain an average
- 20:56Speaker 1: of four dollars and twenty five cents a gallon. That's
- 20:58Speaker 1: up a dollar forty six from the same time last year. Meanwhile,
- 21:02Speaker 1: President Biden announcing a plan to ban Russian oil imports
- 21:05Speaker 1: while eyeing other very problematic nations to fill a short fall.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Texas Senator Ted Cruiser, Republican on the Foreign Affairs Committee,
- 21:12Speaker 1: joins US now and one of the things that I
- 21:14Speaker 1: wanted to get your take on was when you're from Texas,
- 21:17Speaker 1: Senator from Texas, and when President Biden went to Texas yesterday,
- 21:22Speaker 1: he had just announced a ban on Russian oil. He
- 21:25Speaker 1: went and did an important event there about the burn
- 21:27Speaker 1: pits from Iraq, but he didn't meet with anybody in
- 21:30Speaker 1: Texas about domestic energy. You know, I got to say
- 21:34Speaker 1: this administration's policy when it comes to energy is completely incoherent.
- 21:39Speaker 1: President Biden started literally his first day in office basically
- 21:42Speaker 1: declaring war on domestic energy production. He shut down the
- 21:46Speaker 1: Keystone pipeline on the first day in office, killed eleven
- 21:49Speaker 1: thousand jobs, eight thousand union jobs. With a stroke of
- 21:52Speaker 1: a pen. He halted all new leasing on federal lands,
- 21:56Speaker 1: both onshore and offshore, and he stopped developed in an Anoir,
- 22:00Speaker 1: a small region of Alaska that is incredibly rich in
- 22:04Speaker 1: oil reserves. He shut them all down. His agencies have
- 22:07Speaker 1: been waging war on domestic production, and we've seen domestic
- 22:10Speaker 1: production dropping and dropping and dropping, and bizarrely enough, Biden
- 22:14Speaker 1: combines that with being the best thing that ever happened
- 22:18Speaker 1: to Vladimir Putin, and the best thing that ever happened
- 22:20Speaker 1: to Iran, and the best thing that ever happened to Venezuela.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Last week, the Biden administration sent their officials to Venezuela
- 22:26Speaker 1: saying they want to buy oil from Nicholas Maduro. They're
- 22:29Speaker 1: in Vienna trying to negotiate a deal that they want
- 22:31Speaker 1: to buy oil from the Ayatola in Iran, and Biden
- 22:34Speaker 1: last year waves sanctions on the nord Stream Too natural
- 22:38Speaker 1: gas pipeline, which is what caused the invasion of Ukraine.
- 22:42Speaker 1: Their policy just makes no sense. Yeah, he's right, their
- 22:45Speaker 1: policy doesn't make any sense. But what I do know
- 22:49Speaker 1: is that people are waking up to this. New Yorkers
- 22:52Speaker 1: are waking up to this. They're angry. Listen to this
- 22:55Speaker 1: New York driver. Joe Biden says, you're polluting if you
- 23:00Speaker 1: don't drive an electric car. What do you have to say?
- 23:03Speaker 1: How am I gonna work? He needs to keep in
- 23:05Speaker 1: mind he's been rich forever. Like a lot of people,
- 23:07Speaker 1: can't just oh no, I'm just gonna switch to what teslo.
- 23:10Speaker 1: He better focus to the gas price, not about the pollution.
- 23:13Speaker 1: So if he's gonna support us and basically give us
- 23:17Speaker 1: some electric cars, I don't see why not. But yeah,
- 23:19Speaker 1: he can't give an nobody a cause it's pretty accepted
- 23:21Speaker 1: that we all plute. It's part of our lives. Everybody
- 23:24Speaker 1: else is you're pluting if you do a lot of things.
- 23:27Speaker 1: I don't really care about it, and says, to be honest,
- 23:29Speaker 1: Joe Biden doesn't know what he's doing and what he's
- 23:32Speaker 1: doing to this country. Joe Biden, there it is blank,
- 23:36Speaker 1: Joe Biden. These are New Yorkers, by the way, all
- 23:40Speaker 1: people at the gas pumps in New York getting gas.
- 23:44Speaker 1: And that's what they were saying to the news Sendor
- 23:47Speaker 1: Murphy though, Hey, this is all about and I go
- 23:50Speaker 1: back to it. It's an ideology of punishment, Sendor Murphy.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Only renewable energy can make American independent from dictators oil
- 23:58Speaker 1: that we're begging for their oil because we're not drilling
- 24:01Speaker 1: in America A supplies as as you note, it's only
- 24:04Speaker 1: a small slice of US energy needs, just eight percent.
- 24:06Speaker 1: In twenty twenty one, in the second half of February,
- 24:09Speaker 1: the Department of Energy reported that imports dropped to zero
- 24:13Speaker 1: as US companies cut ties with Russia. So I guess
- 24:17Speaker 1: I wonder, given the fact that American companies were already
- 24:19Speaker 1: doing this, do you what do you say about this
- 24:24Speaker 1: band Was it necessary? Even was the free market already
- 24:27Speaker 1: doing that well? As the United States economy continues to
- 24:30Speaker 1: rev up, there was certainly going to be an increased
- 24:33Speaker 1: demand on energy consumption, and thus you always have the
- 24:38Speaker 1: possibility of private companies bringing in Russian energy. I think
- 24:42Speaker 1: it makes sense to have this policy on the books.
- 24:44Speaker 1: I just don't know that we should overhype its impact. Ultimately,
- 24:49Speaker 1: the broader sanctions that we have levied on Russian banks,
- 24:52Speaker 1: and news of all of these private companies from Starbucks
- 24:56Speaker 1: to Coca Cola to MasterCard pulling out of Russia that's
- 25:00Speaker 1: really where the primary impact is going to be. But
- 25:01Speaker 1: let's just admit the insanity of a US economy that
- 25:05Speaker 1: continues to run on oil that is provided to us
- 25:08Speaker 1: by dictators. The reality is, I love this. This is
- 25:12Speaker 1: a senator, a Democrat on the Foreign Relations Committee saying
- 25:15Speaker 1: it's insane that we are running on oil as a
- 25:17Speaker 1: nation from dictators. Well, then why are you so against
- 25:22Speaker 1: us drilling in America? I agree with your premise there,
- 25:26Speaker 1: But then listen to the connection he makes after saying
- 25:29Speaker 1: that impact is going to be. But let's just admit
- 25:31Speaker 1: the insanity of a US economy that continues to run
- 25:35Speaker 1: on oil that is provided to us by dictators. The
- 25:38Speaker 1: reality is, if we're not getting this oil from Russia,
- 25:41Speaker 1: we're likely going to be importing more from another brutal
- 25:44Speaker 1: dictator in Saudi Arabia, for instance, or we may have
- 25:47Speaker 1: to go to Venezuela for oil. We should ultimately learn
- 25:49Speaker 1: our lesson here and become energy independent and choose to
- 25:53Speaker 1: invest in clean domestic energy so we never have to
- 25:56Speaker 1: choose between one dictator versus another. There it is, Yeah,
- 26:00Speaker 1: you just look, we gotta we gotta if we're we
- 26:03Speaker 1: gotta stop doing this folks right right, We to stop
- 26:07Speaker 1: getting oil from dictators in Saudi Arabia. For instance, we
- 26:10Speaker 1: may have to go to Venezuela. But let's let's be clear.
- 26:14Speaker 1: We need to learn our last send and become energy
- 26:16Speaker 1: independent by investing in clean domestic energy so that we
- 26:21Speaker 1: don't have to give this in any money of these
- 26:22Speaker 1: dictators anymore. So again, go buy the car we're telling
- 26:26Speaker 1: you to buy. Elitism right now is what this also is.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Stephen Colbert on soaring gas prices. Hell, I'll pay fifteen
- 26:35Speaker 1: dollars a gallon because I drive a test law. I'll
- 26:42Speaker 1: tell you what I will never complain about a destination
- 26:43Speaker 1: wedding again. Russia has been hit with a series of
- 26:47Speaker 1: crippling sanctions, and it looks like there's more to come,
- 26:50Speaker 1: because the US and its European allies are now discussing
- 26:54Speaker 1: banning imports of Russian oil. Take that boating. We're not
- 26:58Speaker 1: gonna buy our gas from a war craft. We're gonna
- 27:00Speaker 1: buy it from the good guys Saundy Arabia. But it's
- 27:06Speaker 1: gonna cost Since the invasion, oil prices have skyrocketed. Today,
- 27:10Speaker 1: the average gas price in America hit an all time
- 27:13Speaker 1: record high of over four dollars per gallon. Okay, that's things,
- 27:17Speaker 1: but a clean conscience is worth a bucker two. I'm
- 27:21Speaker 1: willing to pay. It's important. By the way, it's not
- 27:30Speaker 1: a bucker two, you toolbag. It's not a bucker two.
- 27:34Speaker 1: Stephen Colbert's not a buck or two. And you would
- 27:37Speaker 1: know that if you've gone to the gas station. One
- 27:39Speaker 1: hundred dollars instead of forty dollars is sixty dollars. These
- 27:45Speaker 1: people are horrible human beings because they don't care if
- 27:50Speaker 1: you suffer. Their ideology is a punishment until you do
- 27:55Speaker 1: what they tell you to do. And if you don't
- 27:58Speaker 1: think what he just said was it lead us an enough,
- 28:00Speaker 1: listen to how he ends it. I'm willing to pay
- 28:03Speaker 1: four dollars a gallon. Hell, I'll pay fifteen dollars a
- 28:06Speaker 1: gallon because I drive a Tesla. Right now, people all
- 28:11Speaker 1: over the world are trying to find inventive ways to
- 28:14Speaker 1: help ordinary Ukraine. I mean, I love this right, I'll
- 28:16Speaker 1: pay fifteen dollars. Hell, I'll pay fifteen dollars gallon because
- 28:19Speaker 1: I drive a Tesla and so should you. And on
- 28:22Speaker 1: the same day Secretary Transtation Mayor Pete was pillared for
- 28:27Speaker 1: touting electric vehicles a solution to rising gas prices. He
- 28:31Speaker 1: lauded the nationwide electric vehicle charging network that Biden administrations pushing, saying,
- 28:35Speaker 1: quote the America that Americans from role to urban to
- 28:38Speaker 1: suburban communities can all benefit from gas savings of driving
- 28:42Speaker 1: an electric vehicle. Center Tech Cruz fired back by saying,
- 28:47Speaker 1: tell me you're a liberal elite without telling me you're
- 28:49Speaker 1: a liberal elite. Yeah, we're gonna give you all those cars. Right,
- 28:53Speaker 1: you just gotta stop worrying about gas prices. Just buy
- 28:55Speaker 1: an electric vehicle. So all you gotta do buy an
- 28:59Speaker 1: electric vehicle. Clean transportation can bring significant cost savings for
- 29:03Speaker 1: the American people as well. Last month, we announced a
- 29:06Speaker 1: five billion dollar investment to build out a nationwide electric
- 29:09Speaker 1: vehicle charging a network so the people from rural to
- 29:12Speaker 1: suburban to urban communities can all benefit from the gas
- 29:16Speaker 1: savings of driving an ev This is an ideology of punishment,
- 29:25Speaker 1: and they're going to continue to punish you on purpose,
- 29:29Speaker 1: making decisions that hurt you on purpose until you submit.
