Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: I'm not sure if it's a rapture alert or help
- 0:03Speaker 1: freezing over, but a Democrat is actually getting indicted. Here's
- 0:06Speaker 1: the part that makes me laugh. They're being indicted again,
- 0:09Speaker 1: so I believe they will absolutely probably get away with it.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Now, what am I talking about?
- 0:15Speaker 1: The US Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New
- 0:18Speaker 1: York announced Friday morning that it will soon unseal an
- 0:23Speaker 1: indictment charge against Senator Bob Menendez, a Democrat for New Jersey,
- 0:28Speaker 1: as well as his wife, with counts of bribery. In
- 0:32Speaker 1: a tweet, the office alleges the forthcoming bribery charges against
- 0:36Speaker 1: a sitting senator and his wife, Nina her Menendez, are
- 0:40Speaker 1: in connection with their corrupt relationship with three New Jersey businessmen. Now,
- 0:46Speaker 1: what we're being told is that there are serious allegations
- 0:51Speaker 1: that he was taking massive amounts of cash, including gold
- 0:55Speaker 1: bars and other things like that. Now, I'm going to
- 0:58Speaker 1: have part of the press conference and where they announced
- 1:00Speaker 1: these charges in a moment, but before that, I want
- 1:02Speaker 1: you to hear what they said on Fox about this
- 1:05Speaker 1: indictment charges not just against Menendez but also his wife.
- 1:09Speaker 3: New Jersey Democratic center Bob Menendez and his wife have
- 1:13Speaker 3: been indicted on bribery charges, charged with corruption related defenses
- 1:18Speaker 3: for the second time now in ten years. He's been
- 1:20Speaker 3: down this road before, he had entered in a mistrial.
- 1:24Speaker 3: He got a lot of a national attention. But Dana.
- 1:27Speaker 4: A thirty nine page indictment claims that starting in twenty eighteen,
- 1:32Speaker 4: Menendez and his wife accepted hundreds of thousands of dollars
- 1:35Speaker 4: in bribes in exchange for using his power to benefit
- 1:39Speaker 4: the government of Egypt. And they did it by way
- 1:43Speaker 4: of cash and gold and payments toward a home mortgage
- 1:48Speaker 4: rather compensation for a quote a low or no show job,
- 1:53Speaker 4: a luxury vehicle, and other quote things of value. That's
- 1:56Speaker 4: what's in the charging document now.
- 2:00Speaker 5: Is that this is a second time in a decade
- 2:02Speaker 5: he's been charged with corruption. And when those charges were
- 2:06Speaker 5: dismissed after a hung jury in twenty eighteen, this indictment
- 2:10Speaker 5: says that discorrupt relationship started the very same year.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Doesn't this sound exactly like the Biden's Right, you get
- 2:17Speaker 1: accused of something, ah, you just keep doing it, right,
- 2:20Speaker 1: Menindez is like I'm in New York.
- 2:21Speaker 2: I got a hung.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Trial last time we complicated things they didn't convict me.
- 2:28Speaker 1: So let's go back to the bribery. Now, the US
- 2:31Speaker 1: Attorney has come out and had a press conference. I
- 2:34Speaker 1: want you to hear what the US attorney had to
- 2:36Speaker 1: say about what Senator Menendez was allegedly providing sensitive, non
- 2:42Speaker 1: public US government information. Is what he was selling, almost
- 2:48Speaker 1: like a spy, to Egyptian officials.
- 2:51Speaker 6: Listen, let me say a little bit more about the conduct.
- 2:53Speaker 6: That's a leegend the indictment. The indictment allegens at Senator
- 2:57Speaker 6: Menendez took several actions as part of this corrupt relationship. First,
- 3:03Speaker 6: the indictment alleges that Senator Menendez used his power and influence,
- 3:06Speaker 6: including his leadership role on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee,
- 3:10Speaker 6: to benefit the Government of Egypt in various ways. Among
- 3:14Speaker 6: other actions, Senator Menendez allegedly provided sensitive, non public US
- 3:20Speaker 6: government information to Egyptian officials and otherwise took steps to.
- 3:25Speaker 7: Secretly aid the government of Egypt.
- 3:28Speaker 6: We also alleged that Senator Menendez improperly pressured a senior
- 3:32Speaker 6: official at the US Department of Agriculture to protect a
- 3:35Speaker 6: lucrative monopoly that the government of Egypt had awarded to Hannah,
- 3:40Speaker 6: a lucrative monopoly that Hanna then used to fund certain
- 3:43Speaker 6: bride payments. Second, the indictment alleges that Senator Menendez used
- 3:49Speaker 6: his power and influence to try to disrupt a criminal
- 3:53Speaker 6: investigation and prosecution undertaken by the new Jersey Attorney General's office.
- 3:58Speaker 1: By the way, doesn't this all sound exactly like what
- 4:01Speaker 1: Hunter Biden, Joe Biden, and James Biden have done?
- 4:03Speaker 2: Like, how is this any different?
- 4:04Speaker 1: And the reason why I say this now, if I'm
- 4:06Speaker 1: Bob Menendez, I'm actually like livid that I'm getting indicted
- 4:11Speaker 1: and publicly treated this way if it because this is
- 4:16Speaker 1: really no different than what the Biden crime family has
- 4:19Speaker 1: been doing for years, except the Biden's made more money
- 4:21Speaker 1: doing it, and they took money from even more corrupt individuals,
- 4:25Speaker 1: and just these individuals were saying, these Egyptian officials, and
- 4:29Speaker 1: also you know it's scandalous, right, It's it's sexy. Oh,
- 4:32Speaker 1: they gave him cash and gold. They were giving cars
- 4:35Speaker 1: and diamonds to the Bidens and then putting them on
- 4:39Speaker 1: fake positions on boards and then funneling them five million
- 4:42Speaker 1: dollars and then another five and then another three year
- 4:45Speaker 1: and another seven there and then it turned into thirty million,
- 4:47Speaker 1: and then fifty million, then seventy million. Like what Menindaz
- 4:51Speaker 1: did is nothing compared to the Biden family. But all
- 4:55Speaker 1: of a sudden, now we've got a legitimate, you know
- 4:59Speaker 1: us atturn here that's going to really come after Menendez,
- 5:02Speaker 1: Like this is hysterical to me, related.
- 5:05Speaker 6: To an associate and a relative of your rebate. Third,
- 5:10Speaker 6: the indictment alleges that Senator Mendez use his power and
- 5:13Speaker 6: influence to try to disrupt a federal prosecution of Debies
- 5:17Speaker 6: in the District of New Jersey in two ways, first
- 5:22Speaker 6: by seeking to install a United States attorney who he
- 5:25Speaker 6: thought could be influenced with respect to Davies.
- 5:29Speaker 1: And second, by the way, how is that any different
- 5:31Speaker 1: than what the Bidens have done?
- 5:32Speaker 2: Right?
- 5:33Speaker 1: You got David Wise, who's the guy who's protecting them.
- 5:35Speaker 1: You've got Garland who's protect them. They then put people
- 5:38Speaker 1: in charge that will protect them. Then they give them
- 5:41Speaker 1: special prosecutors and the same capacity that will quote protect them.
- 5:45Speaker 1: I don't understand how this is any different, to be clear, than.
- 5:51Speaker 2: What's already happening right now.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Like to me, this doesn't this is no different than
- 5:56Speaker 1: what they've been doing. The Bidens been doing the same
- 6:01Speaker 1: damn thing, and now they're charging him with crimes when
- 6:05Speaker 1: the Bidens did the same thing.
- 6:07Speaker 2: That's why this case matters. Like part of me.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Didn't give a crap about Mendez. We've known he's shady,
- 6:13Speaker 1: we know and he's corrupt. We saw him and died
- 6:15Speaker 1: last time, we saw him get away with it. None
- 6:17Speaker 1: of this surprises me. It is the fact now that
- 6:20Speaker 1: all of a sudden, this prosecutor and the DOJ are like, oh,
- 6:24Speaker 1: this is a big deal. This guy used his power
- 6:27Speaker 1: and influence, including his leadership role on the Senate Foreign
- 6:30Speaker 1: Relations Committee, to benefit foreign governments. That's exactly what Joe
- 6:35Speaker 1: Biden has been doing for decades. And now you're going
- 6:39Speaker 1: to go and throw this guy in jail. Menandez, but
- 6:41Speaker 1: you won't even look at and you protect the president
- 6:44Speaker 1: at all costs.
- 6:45Speaker 6: Come on by trying to influence that office to act favorably.
- 6:48Speaker 6: In Davies's case, and as we allege in the indictment,
- 6:53Speaker 6: the senator agreed to do these things and use his
- 6:55Speaker 6: power in this way because Hannah was paying bribes, because
- 6:59Speaker 6: your rebate.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Was okay, well, then let's go through the bribery here.
- 7:03Speaker 1: How many people are paying bribes to the Bidens. The
- 7:06Speaker 1: number is I can't even get to what the probably
- 7:09Speaker 1: the number is because we don't know how many suspicious
- 7:11Speaker 1: activity reports are there one hundred and fifty of them plus.
- 7:15Speaker 1: So we know that these bribes are there, right, we
- 7:17Speaker 1: know that all this is happening.
- 7:19Speaker 2: We have proof that the Bidens have been doing this.
- 7:22Speaker 1: But now we're going to be outraged over Bob Menendez
- 7:25Speaker 1: doing the same damn thing, and we're going to act
- 7:28Speaker 1: like this is some just total breach of public trust
- 7:31Speaker 1: and that we should go after him, which, by the way,
- 7:33Speaker 1: we should.
- 7:33Speaker 2: I'm not saying we shouldn't.
- 7:34Speaker 1: But the idea that Bob Menendez is going to go
- 7:38Speaker 1: down for this, and I believe that he will, but
- 7:40Speaker 1: no one else will is total insanity. This is absolutely
- 7:46Speaker 1: psychotic that we have a government that will do this
- 7:49Speaker 1: to Menendez, but the president can do it on steroids,
- 7:53Speaker 1: on crack right hunter Biden's drug of choice, and do
- 7:57Speaker 1: it at a level that Menendez could have never imagined.
- 8:01Speaker 1: And yet Minetta is the guy that, oh, no, no,
- 8:03Speaker 1: we're gonna hold him accountable. I want to tell you
- 8:07Speaker 1: about a company that I really want you to check out.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Every day we hear about another familiar brand that sells
- 8:14Speaker 1: out their customers and is going Woke. Americans like me
- 8:19Speaker 1: and you're probably one of them, are sick and tired
- 8:21Speaker 1: of having leftist propaganda jammed into every product that we consume. Well,
- 8:27Speaker 1: woke mobile companies are no different. The company that you're
- 8:30Speaker 1: paying your bill to right now may be giving major
- 8:32Speaker 1: donations to Planned Parenthood, for example, and for years they've
- 8:36Speaker 1: been dumping millions of these liberal causes, and we had
- 8:39Speaker 1: to take it because you need a cell phone and
- 8:41Speaker 1: probably thought there was no alternative.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Well, I've got news for you.
- 8:44Speaker 1: There is, and I want you to make the switch
- 8:46Speaker 1: and stand up for a company that stands up for
- 8:49Speaker 1: your values. Patriot Mobile is America's only Christian conservative wireless provider,
- 8:55Speaker 1: offering dependable nationwide coverage on all three major networks. That
- 8:59Speaker 1: means you get the best possible service in your area.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Period. But guess what you do lose the leftist propaganda.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Now, when you switch to Patriot Mobile, you're sending a
- 9:09Speaker 1: message that you support free speech, religious freedom, the sanctity
- 9:13Speaker 1: of life, the Second Amendment, our military veterans and first
- 9:17Speaker 1: responder heroes. That's because they give a piece of your
- 9:20Speaker 1: bill every month to those causes. They have one hundred
- 9:23Speaker 1: percent US based customer service team that makes switching easy.
- 9:26Speaker 1: So just go to Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson. It's
- 9:31Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile dot com slash ferguson, or you can call
- 9:34Speaker 1: them eight seven eight Patriot. That's eight seven eight Patriot.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Get free activation today with the offer code ferguson. Ask
- 9:41Speaker 1: about their coverage guarantee when you're on the phone with them.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Get the same dependable service and take a stand for
- 9:47Speaker 1: your values. Make the switch today Patriotmobile dot com slash
- 9:51Speaker 1: ferguson or eight seven eight Patriot. The part that makes
- 9:55Speaker 1: me mad is that what he did is nothing compared
- 9:59Speaker 1: to the bribery and corruption that we know about in
- 10:02Speaker 1: the Biden crime family. So why is he being held
- 10:05Speaker 1: to a standard that the Bidens are not being held at.
- 10:09Speaker 1: He is accused of doing everything that the Bidens had
- 10:12Speaker 1: done in the past and present and now with Russia
- 10:16Speaker 1: and China and Romania and Ukraine. He was selling access
- 10:20Speaker 1: and giving political favors and protecting people. That's exactly what
- 10:24Speaker 1: the Bidens were doing. So why is it that Menendez
- 10:27Speaker 1: gets nailed but the Bidens don't I want to go
- 10:30Speaker 1: back to this press conference.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Listen.
- 10:33Speaker 6: And because Davies was paying bribes, fortunately the public officials
- 10:38Speaker 6: the Senator sought to influence did not bend.
- 10:41Speaker 7: To the pressure. That's a good thing.
- 10:45Speaker 6: And as part of this investigation, special agients with the
- 10:47Speaker 6: FBI executed search warrants on the residents and safe deposit
- 10:51Speaker 6: box a Senator Menendez and Nadine Menendez in New Jersey.
- 10:56Speaker 6: When they got there, they discovered approximately five hundred thousand
- 10:59Speaker 6: dollars cash stuffed into envelopes and closets. Some of the
- 11:04Speaker 6: cash was stuffed in the Senator's jacket pockets. Some of
- 11:08Speaker 6: the cash some of the envelopes of cash contain Davy's
- 11:10Speaker 6: fingerprints or Davies DNA.
- 11:14Speaker 7: That's not all.
- 11:15Speaker 6: Agents also discovered a lot of gold gold that was
- 11:19Speaker 6: provided by Dabies and Hannah, and the FBI of course
- 11:23Speaker 6: found the Mercedes Benz that your rebay had provided them.
- 11:28Speaker 6: That the items that being covered are discussed in the indictment,
- 11:32Speaker 6: which I encourage all of you to read carefully.
- 11:36Speaker 7: Let's take a look at just some of the items.
- 11:39Speaker 6: So as you can see here, this is the Mercedes
- 11:42Speaker 6: Benz that we allege that your reba provided as part
- 11:45Speaker 6: of the scheme. You see here are three kilograms of gold.
- 11:50Speaker 6: These three kilograms together are worth approximately one hundred and
- 11:54Speaker 6: fifty thousand dollars. And of course here you can see
- 11:58Speaker 6: just a fraction of the cash that was uncovered as
- 12:01Speaker 6: part of the scheme.
- 12:04Speaker 1: You look at all this, this is no different. If
- 12:06Speaker 1: you're angered or shocked by this, this is no different
- 12:09Speaker 1: than what we have on the bidens. We have pictures,
- 12:12Speaker 1: we have bank accounts, we have phone records, we have recordings,
- 12:17Speaker 1: we have emails, we have suspicious activity reports, we have
- 12:21Speaker 1: wire transfers. We have whistle blowers, we have IRS whistlelwers,
- 12:25Speaker 1: FBI whistleblowers, we have foreign whistleblers. We have people under
- 12:28Speaker 1: oath and giving testament. The Biden crime family was doing
- 12:30Speaker 1: exactly what Menindez did. And this US attorney who comes
- 12:35Speaker 1: out and says, good morning, Right, I'm gonna tell you
- 12:37Speaker 1: how we're cleaning up America. And I look, I'm glad
- 12:40Speaker 1: they've done this. I'm glad they got Menendez. But you
- 12:43Speaker 1: have to look at this, and you see they're in shock.
- 12:46Speaker 1: They're like the senator and his wife accepted hundreds of
- 12:49Speaker 1: thousand of dollars in bribes, right, hundreds of thousands of
- 12:52Speaker 1: dollars in bribes in exchange for Senator Meninez using its
- 12:55Speaker 1: power and influence to protect and to enrich those businessmen
- 12:58Speaker 1: and to benefit the government of Egypt.
- 13:00Speaker 2: That's their accusation.
- 13:02Speaker 1: That's what the Bidens did on a scale that even
- 13:05Speaker 1: Menendez could have never imagined. And so when I see
- 13:08Speaker 1: this type of justice, it makes me angry because when
- 13:12Speaker 1: you see this attorney come out today, I'm like, why
- 13:14Speaker 1: aren't we doing the same thing for the president? Listen
- 13:18Speaker 1: to how angry is and I'm glad he's angry. I'm
- 13:20Speaker 1: glad this is happening. But when they lay it out
- 13:23Speaker 1: in this indictment, it's like, well, then, how can we
- 13:26Speaker 1: not have the same for the President York.
- 13:29Speaker 7: Today, I'm announcing that my office has.
- 13:30Speaker 6: Obtained a three count indictment charging Senator Robert Menendez, his
- 13:35Speaker 6: wife Nadine Menendez, and three New Jersey businessmen, while Hannah
- 13:40Speaker 6: Jose Uribe and Fred Davies for bribery offenses.
- 13:45Speaker 7: The investigation that led.
- 13:46Speaker 6: To these charges has been run out of the Southern
- 13:48Speaker 6: District of New York. The indictment alleges that between twenty
- 13:52Speaker 6: eighteen and twenty twenty two, Senator Menendez, the senior US
- 13:57Speaker 6: Senator from New Jersey and the chairman of the Senate
- 13:59Speaker 6: Foreign Relations Committee, and his wife, Nadine Menendez engaged in
- 14:04Speaker 6: a corrupt relationship with Hannah.
- 14:07Speaker 7: Your Rebay and Dabies.
- 14:10Speaker 6: The indictment alleges that through that relationship, the senator and
- 14:14Speaker 6: his wife accepted hundreds of thousands of dollars of bribes
- 14:17Speaker 6: in exchange for Senator Menndez using his power and influence
- 14:21Speaker 6: to protect and to enrich those businessmen and to benefit
- 14:26Speaker 6: the government of Egypt.
- 14:28Speaker 1: I mean, he lays it out there now, if he
- 14:30Speaker 1: was doing just this, I would assume there's probably even
- 14:34Speaker 1: more than this. I would assume that there's other bribes
- 14:39Speaker 1: that he's done that maybe he hasn't gotten caught for yet.
- 14:42Speaker 2: But this is again a moment.
- 14:44Speaker 1: If I'm Menindez right now, I would immediately say, Okay,
- 14:49Speaker 1: you want to come after me for this. I would
- 14:51Speaker 1: unearth everything you could, and I would help the Republicans
- 14:55Speaker 1: go after the president, because if you're going down for this,
- 14:58Speaker 1: then why shouldn't he as well. Now I don't know
- 15:00Speaker 1: if he'll do that, right, Maybe he's hoping that Joe
- 15:02Speaker 1: Biden will give him a pardon right for all of
- 15:05Speaker 1: this when he's convicted. Because when you've got DNA and
- 15:09Speaker 1: all these other things that were just described on the money,
- 15:12Speaker 1: and they knew where all of it was, and the
- 15:14Speaker 1: bribes there and the other people you're trying to bribe
- 15:16Speaker 1: wouldn't play game with you, and now you've got to
- 15:18Speaker 1: deal with the fallout of all this. I mean, I'm
- 15:20Speaker 1: sure Menindez like, all right, well this sucks. But look again,
- 15:24Speaker 1: if you're Menindez, now there is hope for you. And
- 15:27Speaker 1: the hope is that maybe people just a won't care
- 15:31Speaker 1: or be the president will hook you up, maybe you'll
- 15:34Speaker 1: get a pardon from him because you did the same
- 15:37Speaker 1: thing the President of the United States of America has done.
- 15:40Speaker 1: And why should you get indicted? Why should you go
- 15:42Speaker 1: to jail if the President doesn't get indicted for doing
- 15:45Speaker 1: ten x This the amount of money that we're talking
- 15:48Speaker 1: about here with Menindez, Yes, it is a lot of money.
- 15:50Speaker 2: I want to be clear about that.
- 15:51Speaker 1: In the grand scheme of things, it's nothing compared percentage wise,
- 15:54Speaker 1: it's what two three percent of the money that we
- 15:57Speaker 1: know about that went to the Biden crime family, and
- 16:01Speaker 1: people are upset, right that Menindez was, you know, getting
- 16:04Speaker 1: indict again and all this cash coming in and everything
- 16:06Speaker 1: they just laid out there. And his wife, by the way,
- 16:08Speaker 1: she's been indict as well well.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Again people are outraged. But should you be outraged? Should
- 16:15Speaker 2: you be outraged?
- 16:17Speaker 1: You shouldn't be if you look at the how much
- 16:21Speaker 1: money has gone to the family members. There's nine family
- 16:23Speaker 1: members the Biden crime family, nine of them that we
- 16:26Speaker 1: know of, that have been taking the money. So when
- 16:29Speaker 1: the world reacts to this and just they're shocked by this.
- 16:32Speaker 1: The media is covering this thing wall to wall, right
- 16:35Speaker 1: that the Democratic Center dieted federal bribery charges, cash envelopes
- 16:39Speaker 1: filled with cash in his pockets, gold bars, luxury cars,
- 16:43Speaker 1: and apartment right, this is very scandalous. So the question
- 16:47Speaker 1: should be asked, and it's a question that the media
- 16:51Speaker 1: should ask. How is Menndez being held accountable for something
- 16:54Speaker 1: that the president has not been held accountable for at
- 16:57Speaker 1: a level that is ten x fifteen x, twenty fifty x,
- 17:01Speaker 1: whatever the number is of it when it comes to presidency,
- 17:05Speaker 1: that is the question that should be asked. I'm glad
- 17:09Speaker 1: Menindez has gotten nailed. Right, I believe he's in serious trouble.
- 17:13Speaker 1: I think he should be in serious trouble. Okay, I do.
- 17:18Speaker 1: I believe he should be in serious trouble for this.
- 17:21Speaker 1: But it's nothing compared to the presidency and everyone around
- 17:25Speaker 1: the presidency and the Biden crime family. You know, Menendez
- 17:29Speaker 1: and this whole conspiracy is two people, a husband wife.
- 17:33Speaker 1: You got nine family members of the Biden family. That
- 17:35Speaker 1: involves nine, nine different family members, nine folks nine. So
- 17:43Speaker 1: where is the indictment? Where is the search warn? You
- 17:46Speaker 1: notice here the search warn. Look at the difference here.
- 17:48Speaker 1: Menindez gets his home search, social security box or you know,
- 17:52Speaker 1: safety deposit boxes search. Right, he gets he gets what
- 17:56Speaker 1: you should get the treatment here. Remember what the government
- 17:59Speaker 1: did to protect Hunter and James Biden. They were going
- 18:02Speaker 1: to go search a storage facility, and not only they
- 18:05Speaker 1: tip off the Bidens, and they wouldn't let the FBI
- 18:07Speaker 1: go in and search them. When they wanted to talk
- 18:09Speaker 1: to the Bidens. What happened They said, no, you can't
- 18:11Speaker 1: go in. They were told nope, you're not allowed to
- 18:13Speaker 1: leave the premises. Sit down the street and wait. Do
- 18:16Speaker 1: you remember that that's a fact, folks, that actually happened,
- 18:20Speaker 1: Like that really actually happened. You had the FBI that
- 18:23Speaker 1: was trying to do their job and they were told
- 18:24Speaker 1: they couldn't do their job by their superiors, and they
- 18:27Speaker 1: were told that you couldn't talk to the subject of
- 18:29Speaker 1: your investigation. You also had people in the administration who said,
- 18:32Speaker 1: don't go search where Hunter Biden's been staying on his
- 18:36Speaker 1: dad's property because the optics are bad. We have that
- 18:38Speaker 1: in an email. We know that for a fact. The
- 18:40Speaker 1: whistleblowers have told us that they were told they couldn't
- 18:43Speaker 1: do their job. But with menindez, they can do their job. Really,
- 18:46Speaker 1: that's how this works. Now, apparently that's exactly how this works.
- 18:49Speaker 1: It is disgusting on so many different levels. Have you
- 18:53Speaker 1: ever wanted to go to the Holy Land? I'm talking
- 18:55Speaker 1: about Israel? Well, I want you to come with me
- 18:58Speaker 1: Ben Ferguson on an amaze trip that you'll never forget.
- 19:01Speaker 1: Israel is the cradle of Judaism, Christianity, and of many

- 19:54Speaker 1: some new news with poll numbers. It is one issue.
- 19:59Speaker 1: I'm not sure I've ever heard this before in a poll.
- 20:02Speaker 1: This is new dread. The word dread. Dread is topping
- 20:08Speaker 1: the list of American feelings about the twenty twenty four election.
- 20:14Speaker 2: This is not a joke.
- 20:15Speaker 1: The number one feeling that comes to mind for Americans
- 20:18Speaker 1: when thinking about the upcoming presidential election is the word dread. Yes,
- 20:24Speaker 1: that's weird to me. That's weird. Maybe it's not to you,
- 20:26Speaker 1: but it certainly is to me. The survey of one thousand,
- 20:30Speaker 1: six hundred and thirty six US adults, which was conducted
- 20:35Speaker 1: between the September the fourteenth and eighteenth, offered a respond
- 20:39Speaker 1: in seven emotions, three positive, three negative, one neutral and
- 20:43Speaker 1: asks them to select any and all that reflect their
- 20:45Speaker 1: attitude towards the twenty twenty four campaign. Dread, the most
- 20:52Speaker 1: negative option, top the list, with forty one percent of
- 20:56Speaker 1: registered voters saying they're dreading this election, followed by the
- 21:01Speaker 1: word exhaustion thirty four percent. Only twenty five percent of
- 21:05Speaker 1: American voters had to use the word optimism. Twenty one
- 21:09Speaker 1: percent then use the word depression when in reference to
- 21:14Speaker 1: the twenty twenty four election, seventeen percent used the word
- 21:18Speaker 1: interference and just fifteen percent used the word excitement, and
- 21:23Speaker 1: only five percent used the word delight.
- 21:26Speaker 2: What does this mean?
- 21:28Speaker 1: All the pollsters say this shows a deep sense of unease.
- 21:31Speaker 1: In total, of majority of Americans, fifty six percent chose
- 21:35Speaker 1: at least one of the three negative feelings dread, exhaustion,
- 21:39Speaker 1: or depression. Well less than a third of American voters
- 21:42Speaker 1: picked at least one of the three positive feelings optimism, excitement,
- 21:46Speaker 1: or delight.
- 21:47Speaker 2: For anyone who's.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Been paying attention to the tone in the tenor of
- 21:51Speaker 1: the US politics in recent years, the fact that Americans
- 21:54Speaker 1: characterized their prevailing sentiment towards an election as one of
- 21:58Speaker 1: great fear see in the face of impending evil probably
- 22:02Speaker 1: shouldn't come as much as surprise these results, the posters
- 22:06Speaker 1: now say. But all the same, it's a striking reminder
- 22:10Speaker 1: of just how unusual and how extreme the November twenty
- 22:13Speaker 1: twenty four promises of this election are going to be
- 22:16Speaker 1: a potential rematch between two elderly presidents Yahoo News Rights
- 22:22Speaker 1: whom most Americans don't even want to run again, with
- 22:26Speaker 1: the specter of criminal trials and partisan impeachment proceedings shadowing
- 22:32Speaker 1: the entire race. They wrote this morning, President Biden and
- 22:36Speaker 1: former President Donald Trump have yet to secure their respective
- 22:38Speaker 1: party's nominations, but they are already framing twenty twenty four
- 22:42Speaker 1: in existential terms. Quote Biden is totally corrupt and is
- 22:46Speaker 1: the worst president the history of our country. Trump said
- 22:48Speaker 1: in DC, we would love to be in World War
- 22:51Speaker 1: three very quickly. We would be in World War three
- 22:54Speaker 1: excuse me very quickly if we're going to be relying
- 22:58Speaker 1: on this man Trump said. Trump and his MAGA Republicans
- 23:02Speaker 1: are determined to destroy American democracy. That's what Biden said
- 23:06Speaker 1: in response at a New York fundraiser last night. Now,
- 23:10Speaker 1: as if, in response, a full thirty six percent of Americans,
- 23:14Speaker 1: a number that includes a staggering seventy five percent of
- 23:17Speaker 1: voters who identify as Republicans or Republican leaning independents now
- 23:22Speaker 1: think another Biden term would be the worst thing that
- 23:24Speaker 1: could happen to America. By the way, put me in
- 23:27Speaker 1: that list. I'm right there with you, and the numbers
- 23:31Speaker 1: are nearly identical on the flip side, with thirty four
- 23:35Speaker 1: percent of Americans and seventy four percent of Democrat and
- 23:38Speaker 1: Democratic leaning voters saying it would be the worst thing
- 23:41Speaker 1: that could happen to America if Trump were to regain
- 23:43Speaker 1: the oval office. So how do we get to this
- 23:46Speaker 1: point of dysfunction? That's the next question, the posters asked.
- 23:51Speaker 1: It's been a decade of dysfunction where partisans largely agree. However,
- 23:57Speaker 1: one of the overall issues the trajectory of the us U.
- 24:00Speaker 1: Nearly three to four seventy two percent of respondents say
- 24:06Speaker 1: America's political climate has gotten worse over the last decade.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Just seven percent and you'd have to be stupid to
- 24:13Speaker 1: believe this, say it's gotten better. Among the group most
- 24:17Speaker 1: inclined to say that US politics has recently gone downhill,
- 24:21Speaker 1: or white Americans eighty percent, twenty twenty Trump voters eighty
- 24:25Speaker 1: six percent, and senior citizens ninety one percent say that
- 24:30Speaker 1: US politics have gone downhill. Among the group least inclined
- 24:34Speaker 1: to say US politics has recently gone downhill are eighteen
- 24:38Speaker 1: to twenty nine year olds. Why because for the last
- 24:40Speaker 1: decade they've been growing up in this insanity. Just forty
- 24:43Speaker 1: seven percent Black Americans say that American political climate has
- 24:49Speaker 1: gotten worse fifty four percent. The majority now of African
- 24:53Speaker 1: Americans agree. Republicans are more likely to express optimism, however,
- 24:58Speaker 1: than Democrats, it also makes sense to me completely. Thirty
- 25:02Speaker 1: five percent say that they have optimism, Twenty one percent
- 25:07Speaker 1: say excitement they have about the twenty twenty four election,
- 25:10Speaker 1: and Democrats are twenty nine percent. And just sixteen percent
- 25:13Speaker 1: of Democrats say they're excited about their candidate or this
- 25:16Speaker 1: election because their party has an opportunity to take back
- 25:19Speaker 1: to White House. Obviously, Republicans would be more excited. Democrats
- 25:22Speaker 1: are more depressed because they have to put up an
- 25:25Speaker 1: idiot in the name of Joe Biden. The good news
- 25:28Speaker 1: is that despite their dread their words, American voters, just
- 25:33Speaker 1: fifteen percent of Americans excuse me. Just fifteen percent of
- 25:39Speaker 1: Americans say they avoid talking, reading, or thinking about the
- 25:44Speaker 1: twenty four election cycle, while most claim to just be
- 25:48Speaker 1: as interested as they were before. Most are interested, at
- 25:51Speaker 1: forty six percent say yeah, I'm interested, thirty two percent
- 25:55Speaker 1: say they're very interested, and in twenty twenty four that
- 25:58Speaker 1: is higher than previous election at this stage, so you
- 26:01Speaker 1: can't say that voters are unengaged.
- 26:04Speaker 2: Now.
- 26:04Speaker 1: Among registered voters, the interests translated into partisans and leaners
- 26:10Speaker 1: on both sides rating their chances of actually voting in
- 26:13Speaker 1: twenty twenty four is either more likely than in the
- 26:16Speaker 1: prior elections. Thirty seven percent of Republicans and Democrat respondents
- 26:21Speaker 1: matching perfectly, say they're more likely, not less likely, to
- 26:25Speaker 1: vote just as likely. Fifty seven percent of Democrats and
- 26:29Speaker 1: fifty nine percent of Republicans say they are just as
- 26:32Speaker 1: likely to vote as they were last time, which is
- 26:35Speaker 1: also very interesting. Now you take away step back from
- 26:40Speaker 1: this and you say, okay, does anyone have the advantage.
- 26:43Speaker 1: There is a category that the Republicans do have an
- 26:47Speaker 1: advantage over the Democrats. That category is the category of
- 26:51Speaker 1: excitement and optimism. Republicans are more optimistic than Democrats are
- 26:58Speaker 1: right now about the future this country with their candidate.
- 27:01Speaker 1: Republicans are more excited to vote for their candidate, Donald J. Trump,
- 27:06Speaker 1: the leader right now, than Democrats are to vote for
- 27:10Speaker 1: their candidate. And we know who their candidate is, Joe Biden.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Democrats are basically dreading at a higher number voting for
- 27:19Speaker 1: Joe Biden. But if you get through those numbers, it
- 27:23Speaker 1: still seems to be a neck and neck race. You
- 27:26Speaker 1: go to the very end among registered voters interest in
- 27:30Speaker 1: this election, are you more likely than prior elections to vote?
- 27:34Speaker 1: Thirty seven percent Republicans and exactly the same number thirty
- 27:37Speaker 1: seven percent Democrats say they're more likely to vote, just
- 27:41Speaker 1: as likely to vote is last time Democrats fifty seven percent.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Republicans have a two point lead in that category. Now,
- 27:50Speaker 1: that is a number that I would expect, and the
- 27:53Speaker 1: reason is Republicans are trying to get rid of a
- 27:55Speaker 1: Democrat and that's more engaging and when you have something
- 27:59Speaker 1: to win instead of something to lose. Right, we have
- 28:03Speaker 1: a white House that we want to win. Democrats have
- 28:05Speaker 1: a white house they don't want to lose. That can
- 28:08Speaker 1: explain that gap pretty clearly. What this means is, as
- 28:13Speaker 1: of right now, this is a neck and neck election cycle.
