- 0:35Speaker 3: discounts on prescription drug prices. The President saying it's historic,
- 0:40Speaker 3: slashing costs of medication through deals with sixteen major pharmaceutical companies.

- 0:51Speaker 3: It is official. The White House has announced and launched
- 0:55Speaker 3: the site trumprx dot gov. That's right, it is. It's
- 1:00Speaker 3: truly incredible to see what the President is now put
- 1:03Speaker 3: together in an historic launch to lower drug prices for
- 1:07Speaker 3: American patients. President Trump announcing the launch of trump rx
- 1:11Speaker 3: dot gov. Through the website, patients, we'll be able to
- 1:15Speaker 3: access large discounts on many of the most popular and
- 1:19Speaker 3: the highest price medications in the country, paying prices in
- 1:23Speaker 3: line with the lowest paid by other developed nations, known

- 1:32Speaker 3: done decades ago, but we didn't do it. Why because
- 1:36Speaker 3: of corruption Washington, the drug manufacturers and lobbyists making sure

- 1:47Speaker 3: Nowaday's launch featured drugs made by the first five manufacturers
- 1:53Speaker 3: to reach MFN pricing deals with the Trump administration. We're
- 1:59Speaker 3: talking about big companies like Astrozenica, Eli, Lilly, Nova, Nordisk,
- 2:05Speaker 3: and Pfizer. Additional drugs from other companies that have signed
- 2:09Speaker 3: the MFN pricing deals will be made available through trump

- 2:49Speaker 3: of this. It's actually for a very simple reason. The

- 3:37Speaker 1: politicians from both parties have promised to bring down prescription
- 3:42Speaker 1: drug prices and make healthcare more affordable. But they all failed.

- 3:50Speaker 1: failed badly. They tried doing this, some of them, most
- 3:53Speaker 1: of them didn't even try because they never really had
- 3:56Speaker 1: a shot at it. But I'm actually getting it done.

- 4:04Speaker 1: prescription drug prices in history by many, many times, and
- 4:09Speaker 1: it's not even close. You're going to see numbers that
- 4:11Speaker 1: you're not going to believe.
- 4:13Speaker 3: Purchasing directly through Trump ar ex GOV will be able
- 4:16Speaker 3: you'll be able to see. The White House says massive
- 4:18Speaker 3: price reductions on forty of the most popular and expensive
- 4:22Speaker 3: branded medications in the nation. Select examples include historic price reductions.
- 4:27Speaker 3: The White House said for Americans on the two drugs
- 4:30Speaker 3: of the highest annual expenditures in the United States which
- 4:33Speaker 3: help adults struggling with diabetes heart disease. These are drugs

- 4:41Speaker 3: under control, and other conditions. The monthly price of ozimpic

- 4:52Speaker 3: as one hundred and ninety nine, depending on dosage strength.
- 4:56Speaker 3: The monthly price of other drugs used for weight loss,
- 4:59Speaker 3: for example, and the new pill will fall from one thousand,
- 5:02Speaker 3: three hundred and forty nine dollars with GOVY to as
- 5:05Speaker 3: low as one hundred and forty nine, depending on the
- 5:08Speaker 3: dosage and strength. The monthly price of zet bound will
- 5:12Speaker 3: fall from one thousand and eighty eight to an average
- 5:14Speaker 3: price of three hundred and forty six dollars and as
- 5:18Speaker 3: low as two ninety nine depending on the dosage and strength.

- 5:24Speaker 3: used fertility medications in the country will also put families first,
- 5:29Speaker 3: something the President promised, and help American families grow. Many
- 5:34Speaker 3: patients struggling with infertility pay for their medications out of pocket.

- 5:43Speaker 3: IVF and vitro fertilization, the amount of financial stress going
- 5:48Speaker 3: through that process is unbelievable. Tens of thousands of dollars

- 5:54Speaker 3: out of pocket. Well, that's exactly why the President made
- 5:58Speaker 3: this one of the top priorities. He now says that
- 6:02Speaker 3: many families will stand to save more than two thousand
- 6:05Speaker 3: dollars per cycle of fertility drugs on average. This is incredible.
- 6:11Speaker 3: Got a laugh. One of the most commonly used fertility drugs,
- 6:14Speaker 3: we'll see its price reduced to as low as one
- 6:16Speaker 3: hundred and sixty eight per penn depending on dosed strength.
- 6:20Speaker 3: The price for another commonly used fertility medication will drop
- 6:24Speaker 3: all the way down to twenty two to fifty. And
- 6:28Speaker 3: there are many other drugs that you have to use
- 6:30Speaker 3: in infertility treatments. The President, saying that's a priority. Discounts
- 6:34Speaker 3: on numerous other high cost drugs, including inhalers to treat
- 6:39Speaker 3: chronic conditions that deal with COPD will be discounted all
- 6:45Speaker 3: the way down to fifty one dollars from five hundred.
- 6:48Speaker 3: There's asthma hailers to treat symptoms and attacks. The price
- 6:52Speaker 3: will drop from five hundred and four down to two
- 6:54Speaker 3: hundred and one dollars. That's real money. These are just
- 6:57Speaker 3: some of the examples that the President is made a
- 7:00Speaker 3: real priority. And then insulin, for example, will be available
- 7:04Speaker 3: as low as twenty five dollars a month. Yeah, Duavi,
- 7:08Speaker 3: a medication used to treat hot flashes and osteoporosis. We'll
- 7:12Speaker 3: see its price cut from two hundred and two dollars
- 7:15Speaker 3: all the way down to just thirty dollars. And the
- 7:18Speaker 3: President made it clear he's delivering lower costs on the
- 7:21Speaker 3: most popular drugs. President Trump delivering on that promise to
- 7:26Speaker 3: ensure American patients no longer pay high prices to subsidize
- 7:30Speaker 3: low prices in the rest of the world, something the
- 7:33Speaker 3: political establishment did not believe was even possible. On May twelfth,
- 7:38Speaker 3: twenty twenty five, President Trump did sign that executive order
- 7:41Speaker 3: titled Delivering Most Favored Nation Prescription Drug Pricing to American Patients,
- 7:46Speaker 3: directing the administration to take numerous actions to bring American
- 7:50Speaker 3: drug prices in line with those paid by similar nations.
- 7:55Speaker 3: Fast forward to July thirty first of last year, President
- 7:58Speaker 3: Trump sent letters to leading pharmaceutical manufacturers outlining the steps
- 8:02Speaker 3: they must take to bring down the prices of prescription
- 8:05Speaker 3: drugs in the United States to match the lowest price
- 8:08Speaker 3: offered in other developed nations. And then sept September of
- 8:13Speaker 3: this year, let me rephrase that, since September of last year,
- 8:17Speaker 3: President Trump announced sixteen deals with major pharmaceutical manufacturers to
- 8:22Speaker 3: bring prices in line with those paid in other developed nations,
- 8:26Speaker 3: which will provide substantial price relief on numerous products taken
- 8:29Speaker 3: by millions of Americans each and every day. And then
- 8:34Speaker 3: on December one of twenty twenty five, the Office of
- 8:37Speaker 3: the United States Trade Representative, the Department of Commerce, and
- 8:39Speaker 3: the Department of Health and Human Services announced an agreement
- 8:43Speaker 3: with the United Kingdom that will increase the net price
- 8:45Speaker 3: of new prescription drugs by twenty five percent in the UK,
- 8:49Speaker 3: helping ensure that they pay their fair share for innovative
- 8:52Speaker 3: medicines that they've been taking advantage of. In America has
- 8:55Speaker 3: been well holding the bill, and then on January the
- 8:59Speaker 3: fifth this year, President Trump called on Congress to enact
- 9:03Speaker 3: the Great Healthcare Plan, which he said with lower drug
- 9:06Speaker 3: prices by codifying the savings from his most favored nation
- 9:11Speaker 3: pricing initiatives, lowering insurance premiums of skyrocket under Obamacare, hold
- 9:16Speaker 3: insurance companies accountable, and most importantly, maximize, as he describes it,
- 9:22Speaker 3: price transparency for all Americans. Another major win for so
- 9:28Speaker 3: many Americans that voted for Donald Trump. And as he said,
