- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know y'all back a suit, looking back to back down,
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them like theming bus things and it's not true.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Good Steve har Stey, don't join jo. You gotta use
- 0:59Speaker 1: that turn arm. You gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Got to turnmout to turn turn the water the water. Come,
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your baby, I shall well a good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice, come on dig me now
- 2:08Speaker 1: one it only Steve Harley got a radio show. Okay.
- 2:16Speaker 1: I want to talk to you today about success. But
- 2:22Speaker 1: I want to talk to you about it like I
- 2:25Speaker 1: usually do in terms of a principle of it, but
- 2:29Speaker 1: I want to share something with you about it. And
- 2:33Speaker 1: I was talking to my daughter about it. I've talked
- 2:37Speaker 1: about my son in law about it, talking about it
- 2:39Speaker 1: with all my children, and I'm really starting to express
- 2:42Speaker 1: it to them now because I'm talking to a wide
- 2:45Speaker 1: range of people constantly. But I want to share something
- 2:49Speaker 1: with you. If you have any aspiration of being successful,
- 2:54Speaker 1: I want you to realize, starting right now, the effort
- 2:58Speaker 1: that is going to require. And that's why I think
- 3:01Speaker 1: it stops a lot of people I think a lot
- 3:04Speaker 1: of people are never told or don't understand the sheer
- 3:09Speaker 1: efforts that it takes to become successful at anything in
- 3:13Speaker 1: any area of your life. If you think that doing
- 3:16Speaker 1: your best is enough, that I got news for you.
- 3:20Speaker 1: It's not. Well, Steve, What if you've done your best, though,
- 3:27Speaker 1: and your best ain't good enough? Well, let me ask
- 3:30Speaker 1: you that same question. Hold on. If you want to
- 3:33Speaker 1: be successful and you've done your best and best isn't
- 3:36Speaker 1: good enough? What you through? That's it? But Steve, it
- 3:40Speaker 1: was my best? No no, no, no no. It was
- 3:43Speaker 1: the best you had at that time, in that particular day.
- 3:47Speaker 1: But tomorrow add something to it. You've never done everything.
- 3:54Speaker 1: There is no you can't go no more, you can't
- 3:57Speaker 1: add no more. I've seen marathon and runners end up
- 4:01Speaker 1: crawling across the line. I've seen triath line people man
- 4:05Speaker 1: just staggering in the street and didn't want nobody to
- 4:08Speaker 1: help them because they knew that would disqualify them from
- 4:11Speaker 1: the race. You got more? Have you ever dipped into
- 4:17Speaker 1: your reserve tank? That's what we're talking about now. See
- 4:22Speaker 1: all of us have a reserve tank, you know. I
- 4:24Speaker 1: you know, on my ranch, I like to ride four wheelers.
- 4:27Speaker 1: I have all terrain vehicles, and all of them have
- 4:30Speaker 1: a gas tank on it and a gas tank and
- 4:34Speaker 1: most of mine, let me see all of them. Yeah,
- 4:35Speaker 1: all of them have gas tank needles on them, and
- 4:38Speaker 1: it lets me know when I get down towards eat
- 4:42Speaker 1: there's a little lane that's read that lets me know. Okay, Steve,
- 4:46Speaker 1: you're in the danger zone. Now you're riding into the
- 4:49Speaker 1: lowest part of your tank. But if I keep riding
- 4:52Speaker 1: and I forget to get some gas in there, guess
- 4:55Speaker 1: what when it runs out of gas. All of my
- 4:59Speaker 1: all terrain Ville, all of them, Honda, Polaris, all of them.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Those are the makers. There's a button on the gas
- 5:08Speaker 1: tank itself that I can click and it says reserve.
- 5:13Speaker 1: That means they know that for the hardcore riders, they're
- 5:18Speaker 1: gonna ride somewhere and they're gonna get themselves in a
- 5:20Speaker 1: situation and they're gonna run out of everything. They're gonna
- 5:24Speaker 1: run out of road, they're gonna run out of gas.
- 5:27Speaker 1: They've prepared because they know for the hardcore rider, every
- 5:31Speaker 1: hardcore rider needs a reserve tank. And so there's a
- 5:35Speaker 1: button that you can click on the gas tank that
- 5:38Speaker 1: clicks it into a reserve, and it will give you
- 5:41Speaker 1: about fifty miles or twenty miles worth of gas in
- 5:45Speaker 1: that Now, guess what in that reserve? That may be
- 5:49Speaker 1: all you need to get you to where you're going,
- 5:52Speaker 1: or get you back to safety so you can refuel.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Don't tell me you've done your best. When your best,
- 5:59Speaker 1: don't hut it what you're gonna do. See when best
- 6:04Speaker 1: is possible, then good enough ain't enough. See that's good enough.
- 6:09Speaker 1: But if the best is possible, why would you not
- 6:12Speaker 1: shoot for that? And you you are all capable of
- 6:15Speaker 1: making it. But you've got to change your mindset and
- 6:18Speaker 1: realize the effort that has to be put forth in
- 6:22Speaker 1: becoming successful. You've got to do it relentlessly, over and
- 6:27Speaker 1: over and over and over and every day. I try
- 6:30Speaker 1: to do something to progress my life for the better.
- 6:34Speaker 1: I try to do something every day. I wake up
- 6:37Speaker 1: every day with the plan. Some phone calls, some meetings,
- 6:40Speaker 1: some some some interviews. Something man that's going to advance
- 6:45Speaker 1: and move the brand forward. Because here's what's gonna happen.
- 6:48Speaker 1: You are Let's say you reach your goal. Let's say
- 6:51Speaker 1: your goal is to make one hundred thousand dollars. Well,
- 6:56Speaker 1: I got news for you. Listen to this. When you
- 6:59Speaker 1: make the one hundred thousand dollars, you can't go nowhere
- 7:03Speaker 1: and go on vacation and put your hand behind your
- 7:05Speaker 1: head and say I made a hundred thousand dollars. Guess
- 7:08Speaker 1: what you got to do? You got to find a
- 7:10Speaker 1: way now to maintain that one hundred thousand, to keep
- 7:13Speaker 1: it coming in. So you can't just get there and
- 7:17Speaker 1: stop and rest and whoa. It is harder to maintain
- 7:21Speaker 1: your success that it is to get successful. See let's say,
- 7:26Speaker 1: let me let me show you this. Supposed it takes
- 7:28Speaker 1: you five to eight years to find a way to
- 7:34Speaker 1: make fifty thousand dollars. Let's say it takes you five
- 7:38Speaker 1: to eight years to find a way to make an
- 7:40Speaker 1: extra fifty thousand dollars, and you finally, through work and effort,
- 7:44Speaker 1: you get to the fifty thousand dollars. More. That's that's
- 7:49Speaker 1: it's only just begun now, because guess what, in order
- 7:53Speaker 1: to keep the fifty coming in, you got to duplicate
- 7:57Speaker 1: what you did to get there. And then, oh, here's
- 8:02Speaker 1: what you're going to have the audacity being a human being,
- 8:05Speaker 1: You're gonna want another fifty because you're a human being,
- 8:10Speaker 1: because you gotta have something else to shoot for. Now
- 8:12Speaker 1: you're gonna want another fifty. Well, now, I guess what
- 8:15Speaker 1: you gotta do Now, Now you gotta do what you
- 8:16Speaker 1: did before, plus you gotta come up with something else.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Then after that you're gonna have the audacity because you're humans,
- 8:24Speaker 1: you're gonna want another fifty. Says how this works? And
- 8:30Speaker 1: see that that's that that's the importance of your relationship
- 8:34Speaker 1: with God because you're gonna constantly need it and ain't
- 8:37Speaker 1: ever a point where you're gonna be through needing it.
- 8:39Speaker 1: But there ain't gonna become a point in your life
- 8:41Speaker 1: where you're gonna through. Won't through, be through, won't nothing
- 8:43Speaker 1: unless you just gave up. And if you don't gave up,
- 8:46Speaker 1: who wants that? Come on, y'all, this is going to
- 8:50Speaker 1: take quite a bit of effort, and if you think
- 8:54Speaker 1: it will come to you any other way, you're sadly mistaken.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Because of all the successful people out I know that
- 9:01Speaker 1: the effort they put out on a daily basis is daunting,
- 9:04Speaker 1: and I think that the average person just doesn't understand
- 9:07Speaker 1: the requirement of time and effort that it takes to
- 9:10Speaker 1: get that and willingness to put it out. You gotta
- 9:14Speaker 1: cut a lot of monkey business out your life. All
- 9:17Speaker 1: that hanging out, all that late and all that club
- 9:20Speaker 1: and all that drinking, all it. You gotta cut a
- 9:23Speaker 1: whole lot of monkey business out to be successful. Man,
- 9:27Speaker 1: if you're planning on being successful, get up early, stay
- 9:32Speaker 1: up late, work, try, think, meet, greet, smile, attract. It
- 9:38Speaker 1: takes a lot, let's go, but you can do it.
- 9:40Speaker 1: God is pressed to passing out blessings all day long.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Why are you not in line for yours? I'm telling
- 9:46Speaker 1: you right now, I want everything God got for me
- 9:49Speaker 1: because what he's shown me so far? Who if he
- 9:52Speaker 1: got some more? Man on man, how good is God? Huh?
- 10:01Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen. Good morning, boys and girls. Man have

- 14:17Speaker 1: damn this Saturday, you should be going that way. You
- 14:24Speaker 1: were going that way so so often. Man. Yeah, I
- 14:28Speaker 1: didn't been halfway to work. I didn't been halfway to
- 14:32Speaker 1: work and realize my phone was on my nice things.
- 14:39Speaker 1: I didn't call and say I just ain't gonna make it.
- 14:41Speaker 1: I will be late to go back. Didn't get this

- 15:09Speaker 1: get that phone, he can't do the next day. Okay,
- 15:16Speaker 1: I got it. He got to go get that phone.
- 15:19Speaker 1: You half way to work? Uh huh. I turned the
- 15:24Speaker 1: third round. I'd have left the baby at the house.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Oh my god, left the baby on the phone. Remember
- 15:39Speaker 1: I was saying my mom, I was working. I ain't
- 15:41Speaker 1: gonna kill me because I was halfway to work. One time,
- 15:43Speaker 1: I realize I'd have left the front door wide. People
- 15:47Speaker 1: just blob by looking in the house. His one, You
- 15:54Speaker 1: all dressed up, and you look down right, you got
- 15:57Speaker 1: your towel on you jacking him? You look down, you
- 16:00Speaker 1: still got on your pajama pants. Rest. What is going
- 16:09Speaker 1: on with my life? Man? You have way to work?
- 16:14Speaker 1: And then realized I didn't brush none of my damn.
- 16:19Speaker 1: What is this I'm smetting that? Damn? It's me, it's me,
- 16:25Speaker 1: It's me, hey, jemmy. Uh. I would have been halfway
- 16:35Speaker 1: to work and then realized when I get to work,
- 16:38Speaker 1: I would have to borrow some money. My dad was
- 16:45Speaker 1: imnna have to borrow from somebody. Yeah, somebody I got
- 16:50Speaker 1: wanted to kill you. This was back in the day.
- 16:53Speaker 1: I've been on my way to work and forgot that
- 16:55Speaker 1: I didn't even go home that night. Oh you didn't
- 17:00Speaker 1: check in? Some people looking for what mean you didn't
- 17:06Speaker 1: do I just had to go to work from where
- 17:10Speaker 1: I walked. You never made it back home. No, I
- 17:16Speaker 1: love it, love it. Yeah, you had way to work
- 17:22Speaker 1: and you realize I had this on yesterday. You're a
- 17:27Speaker 1: good night joke. That's house the night before, and you
- 17:31Speaker 1: knew you. I have told I told my ex wife
- 17:37Speaker 1: that I fell asleep at the jaw in the parking
- 17:41Speaker 1: lot and Jeff woke up and went on back into
- 17:43Speaker 1: the way. I was so tired. I was so tired.
- 17:46Speaker 1: I was so tired. Yeah, I've done that. It'll be
- 17:50Speaker 1: halfway to work and realize it's Sunday. Yeah, but can't
- 17:58Speaker 1: you listening to the jokes? Yeah you got one union. Yeah,
- 18:04Speaker 1: I've been halfway to work and realize I don't even
- 18:09Speaker 1: work here no more. I drive behind him to a job.
- 18:14Speaker 1: I quit. I've done that. I don't even work here
- 18:18Speaker 1: no more. It's out of heaven. I'm going back, Julia,
- 18:21Speaker 1: I did this. I didn't drove halfway to work and
- 18:24Speaker 1: decided halfway I'm quitting to ye, I ain't going back,
- 18:30Speaker 1: just immediately slowed down. Why am I rushing? I'm waiting
- 18:34Speaker 1: to quit today? You're gonna quick today? Oh how about
- 18:38Speaker 1: this one? How about just't you halfway to work? You're
- 18:41Speaker 1: driving right, you look down and you say to yourself,
- 18:44Speaker 1: I am not gonna make it all day in these
- 18:47Speaker 1: new shoes. It's not gonna happen. It's not gonna happen. Happen.
- 18:51Speaker 1: You gonna quit take these? Yeah, you're gonna You're gonna
- 18:54Speaker 1: need a butcher knife so you feel bad out my feet.
- 19:01Speaker 1: I ain't gonna do it. You ever got halfway to work?
- 19:04Speaker 1: This ain't really funny. It's just true. You ever got
- 19:07Speaker 1: halfway to work and realize you don't like what you
- 19:09Speaker 1: got on? Oh? Yeah, yeah, because your whole day will
- 19:13Speaker 1: be messed up if you don't like what you got on.
- 19:16Speaker 1: You got to feel with man. Yeah, you ever put
- 19:19Speaker 1: something on and had to just tug on it all day? Yeah?
- 19:23Speaker 1: Just be pulling on it. Yeah, you gotta sit a
- 19:27Speaker 1: certain way for it to look just right. Yeah, that's
- 19:31Speaker 1: an uncomfortable feel. Now have you gone back home to
- 19:35Speaker 1: change at No? No, I'm gonna go back. Oh ain't
- 19:41Speaker 1: gone back, but you gotta go back. Get that phone,
- 19:44Speaker 1: Tommy Dodd, Okay, yeah, at the hardy household that everybody? Hi, Tommy,
- 19:51Speaker 1: my wife has my coat, you know, my wife, dog,
- 19:59Speaker 1: my kids, my assistant, got the cold on my phone.
- 20:04Speaker 1: Deeply in love you are, ye, deeply in love. I
- 20:07Speaker 1: love seeing love la bless you though, man, see that
- 20:10Speaker 1: kind of stuff. I just ain't doing nothing ignorant. Yeah right,
- 20:14Speaker 1: that's right. Supposed to be a limit at one point.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Damage supposed to be a cut off point. Who says that?
- 20:20Speaker 1: Who said that the lord who was starting the lord
- 20:26Speaker 1: put no cut off point on the lordly suggested companion.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Well Tommy, well Tommy's at that fifty year mark. So
- 20:42Speaker 1: you say the time, Paul, Doc fifty fifty really too late.
- 20:45Speaker 1: But it's really time, man, because you have a hundred.
- 20:48Speaker 1: You probably got less left than you ran off your
- 20:53Speaker 1: racist ladies. Jim will be back. You're listening morning show
- 21:00Speaker 1: trying to run that frank black trimper casket triple casts
- 21:06Speaker 1: look around the room when heation, well, I need confirmation
- 21:11Speaker 1: from somebody to triple cast run that cat triple cast mortuary.
- 21:21Speaker 1: Help you are you Calvin? How you doing? My name
- 21:23Speaker 1: is Brandon Man, Brandon Giles. UM, I'm calling. We've got
- 21:30Speaker 1: somebody that has passed actually three people passed away. I
- 21:38Speaker 1: thank you for that, man. It was kind of expected,
- 21:41Speaker 1: so you know, it wasn't something that caught us off guard.
- 21:45Speaker 1: But you know, but all in all, you know, we're
- 21:46Speaker 1: still grieving about losing our loved ones. But but I
- 21:50Speaker 1: wanted to give you all a call. We're trying to
- 21:52Speaker 1: um pick a particular funeral home on who we want
- 21:56Speaker 1: to um take care of. Yes, yes, sir, yes sir, okay,
- 22:02Speaker 1: we can definitely help you with that. And uh, once again,
- 22:06Speaker 1: I just want to to you know, just let you
- 22:08Speaker 1: know that we can pretty much do the whole game
- 22:11Speaker 1: that we can make sure that you're need to take
- 22:14Speaker 1: and from you know, from from now on, UM we're
- 22:18Speaker 1: here for you, showing to get that out. What is
- 22:21Speaker 1: your main need? You said, three people? Sir? Yes, yes, yes, okay.
- 22:27Speaker 1: I wanted to bring attention to you. Do you guys
- 22:30Speaker 1: customize caskets yes, we do goal plating, uh engraving. We
- 22:37Speaker 1: even have a new thing where we can put the
- 22:40Speaker 1: picture of the person on the outside like a semi
- 22:43Speaker 1: gloss coating a couple of hours. Yeah, I don't. I
- 22:47Speaker 1: don't need that all. No goal or nothing like that. Listen, listen.
- 22:50Speaker 1: What I want to do. Is it any way that
- 22:53Speaker 1: you could maybe uh customize a casket that can accommodate
- 22:58Speaker 1: three people? Um uh? Yes, like we we can. We
- 23:03Speaker 1: can customize each individual casket for each individual. No, no, no, no, Calvin,
- 23:10Speaker 1: that ain't want to ask. What I'm saying is if
- 23:12Speaker 1: I want to like like I like I said, d
- 23:14Speaker 1: my could they was all close? You know, I don't
- 23:18Speaker 1: have a problem with all three of them being in
- 23:20Speaker 1: the same casket. I get you, um uh to you know,
- 23:26Speaker 1: to my knowledge is as far as I've been in
- 23:28Speaker 1: this business, I've never uh. I'm not really sure we
- 23:32Speaker 1: can actually do that. I mean, I mean, I mean,
- 23:35Speaker 1: but what's the problem if we can get them all
- 23:37Speaker 1: in there? And well, sir, I mean I think that's
- 23:41Speaker 1: a I don't even think if for one, it's legal
- 23:44Speaker 1: in this state or any state, three people in one casket?
- 23:49Speaker 1: Um and ethics wise, I Uh, that's not really something
- 23:54Speaker 1: that how can I say that? We actually, you know,
- 23:58Speaker 1: but if you customize in a casket, Calvin, then you
- 24:01Speaker 1: ought to be able to put as many people in
- 24:03Speaker 1: there if you make it deep enough and wide enough.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Ought to be able to get three people in there? Right? Well,
- 24:09Speaker 1: the customization is is the outer side of the casket.
- 24:14Speaker 1: And maybe you know some people even put TV screens
- 24:18Speaker 1: on the inside or some of their is they're their
- 24:20Speaker 1: loved ones, memorable mementos. We customize it for that, you know, colorwise.
- 24:28Speaker 1: So what about when when is a person real big
- 24:31Speaker 1: h you know, a heaving said person, you know you
- 24:33Speaker 1: got to have a casket that can accommodate them, right, yes,
- 24:37Speaker 1: But okay, so so you ought to be able to
- 24:39Speaker 1: put you ought to be able to put three people
- 24:41Speaker 1: in one casket if they can fit, if you put
- 24:45Speaker 1: two one way in one the other other way, then
- 24:47Speaker 1: you ought to be able to have all three of
- 24:49Speaker 1: them in there at one time. Um, is there anybody
- 24:52Speaker 1: else around you and your family that can help talk
- 24:55Speaker 1: with me about this? I'm talking right now. I'm trying
- 24:59Speaker 1: to get I'm trying to accommodate my cousins and get
- 25:01Speaker 1: them straight and I'm asking you can we get them
- 25:04Speaker 1: in a casket. That one casket that's can accommodate three
- 25:07Speaker 1: people if you put two pillars on one end. One pillars.
- 25:11Speaker 1: That's not something we're really that ain't just used to doing, Calvin.
- 25:16Speaker 1: But I'm calling you telling you that's the way I
- 25:18Speaker 1: want this customize. Man. All right, brother, look brother, brother,
- 25:22Speaker 1: just just chill out with customs, all right. So we're
- 25:24Speaker 1: trying to get three people. I have a standard plan,
- 25:29Speaker 1: it'll be a low end standard plan for three individual caskets.
- 25:35Speaker 1: We ain't gotta we all have enough money for three
- 25:38Speaker 1: individual caskets. I keep telling you that we got room
- 25:42Speaker 1: for one casket. We just need to big enough, man,
- 25:46Speaker 1: so you could get everybody in. Then close the dough.
- 25:49Speaker 1: I'm not gonna I'm not. I don't want to go
- 25:50Speaker 1: back and forth with you, sir. I know this is
- 25:52Speaker 1: a time. Then go. You ain't gonna go back and
- 25:54Speaker 1: forth with me. Buildings to our knees. I can bear
- 25:57Speaker 1: my family. It's I don't really know what to tell you, sir,
- 26:01Speaker 1: But I'm just really trying to help. I'm trying. Won't
- 26:03Speaker 1: you tell me you're gonna get three people in the
- 26:05Speaker 1: casket looking good. We cannot do that. You houting that. Man,
- 26:11Speaker 1: I'm the one going through bereathing. I understand that. But
- 26:14Speaker 1: you are, you're you're, you're using foul language. We can't
- 26:18Speaker 1: do it, brother, you hear me not not. That's no
- 26:22Speaker 1: hold on my cousin. Them said they wanted to use no, sir, No, okay.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Let's look. I'm look may man, y'all gonna bury these
- 26:32Speaker 1: three people and you're gonna put all three of them
- 26:35Speaker 1: in the same damn casket. Man, two two on one,
- 26:39Speaker 1: one on one end and one on the other. One. Man, sir,
- 26:42Speaker 1: if you're drinking, just ain't nobody to let me tell
- 26:45Speaker 1: you something. Man, let me say this to you. Your
- 26:47Speaker 1: name Calvin, right, yes, yes it is okay, so Calvin, Calvin,
- 26:51Speaker 1: let me say this to you. Either y'all gonna bury
- 26:55Speaker 1: my cousin is the way I want it, or Calvin,
- 26:57Speaker 1: you're gonna get your who you're talking to up. That's
- 27:02Speaker 1: what's going now. Now, Now that's it, right there, sir.
- 27:04Speaker 1: I've been trying to be as professional as I can
- 27:06Speaker 1: this whole conversation. It's as crazy as it is. But
- 27:09Speaker 1: now it ain't nothing crazy about no, no, no, no, no,
- 27:11Speaker 1: I told you I want you to bury my cousin.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Come on down here. I got some place to put
- 27:15Speaker 1: your body and your cousin's body. How about that? Huh? Yeah?
- 27:21Speaker 1: Because you you know you don't You don't sound too
- 27:23Speaker 1: damn confident. You don't sound too confident. Calvin, I'm gonna
- 27:28Speaker 1: tell you right now. I'm gonna tell you right now,
- 27:31Speaker 1: this ain't the place and I'm not the one you
- 27:33Speaker 1: will be in the ground messing with us. Matter of fact,
- 27:36Speaker 1: if you come here, I'm you up. How about that? Okay, Calvin, Okay, Calvin,
- 27:42Speaker 1: let me tell you something. Calvin, me and Tommy gonna
- 27:44Speaker 1: be down there to day. Then I'm bringing Tommy with me.
- 27:47Speaker 1: Who's Tommy? Huh? This is nephew Tommy from the Steve
- 27:52Speaker 1: Harvey Martin Show. Baby, you just got prank. Calvin's yo, y'all.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Have me ready to hell, y'all. I just want to

- 28:46Speaker 1: each other. I like that too, Tommy. It's hidden, hidden
- 28:49Speaker 1: shoulder all the way up. All right, more of this
- 28:51Speaker 1: crazy ignorant show. Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this,
- 28:56Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Okay, guys, Jay,
- 29:02Speaker 1: what is this Steve time of y'all know, Look, we
- 29:07Speaker 1: don't hate on people who have hair. We don't hate
- 29:10Speaker 1: because we don't have here. But it's just there's some
- 29:13Speaker 1: hair rules out there that you got to abide by.
- 29:16Speaker 1: That's all. Hair rules, hair rules that you need to
- 29:20Speaker 1: live by, even though you have here. Like, for instance,
- 29:25Speaker 1: if you got an affro, that's nice, but people should
- 29:29Speaker 1: be able to go to the movies and see around
- 29:32Speaker 1: your aufro. That's all. You can't block them four or
- 29:37Speaker 1: five people seeing because of your alfro. That's all I'm saying.
- 29:42Speaker 1: Time you got one man, oh man, I want to
- 29:46Speaker 1: disagree with that one before we go too far into this,
- 29:49Speaker 1: because this my throw. And if you want to not
- 29:54Speaker 1: get blocked, you need to get to early, get seat
- 29:56Speaker 1: of your choice, you know. But then the afro come.
- 30:00Speaker 1: You're taking up too much. You'll tell you ain't nobody
- 30:03Speaker 1: cutting the afro back. No, damn way. I packed it
- 30:09Speaker 1: froll for you to see it. See, I didn't pay
- 30:11Speaker 1: the bad people talking hating on the afro. We're not here,
- 30:20Speaker 1: not cause ball headed him and Tommy. But I'm the
- 30:23Speaker 1: ball headed man. Speak up for big FROs, speak up
- 30:27Speaker 1: for this. This's the one that bothered me. You can't
- 30:30Speaker 1: have gray hair on your head and then a jet
- 30:34Speaker 1: black beard. You see what I'm saying. That that too
- 30:41Speaker 1: called just for men, It's made just for that husband too.
- 30:48Speaker 1: You gotta pick a color now, we need all of
- 30:50Speaker 1: it to be one. Yeah, pick one that both of them.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Damn it, that's all we're saying. Let go gray. That's
- 30:58Speaker 1: all some home hair boy. You got one else, I'll
- 31:04Speaker 1: tell your hair rule. I don't like. Come on, you
- 31:07Speaker 1: get you ain't never had waste, You're not fitning get wast,
- 31:15Speaker 1: So stop brushing leaving bristles in my cort seat. Y'all.
- 31:21Speaker 1: I don't know how hard you pressing down, dog, but
- 31:23Speaker 1: it's not coming. I don't know. I don't need to
- 31:28Speaker 1: know that one. You ain't getting whatever. Get weights maybe
- 31:33Speaker 1: talking and brushing, Yeah, but you're raising wristles. How hard
- 31:37Speaker 1: is you bristle scratching? Your scratching. Your white men do
- 31:50Speaker 1: comb overs where they take some of their hell off
- 31:55Speaker 1: the left side, growing long enough to white been over
- 32:00Speaker 1: on the right side to get a piers that they
- 32:03Speaker 1: have hand to talk um. Rule of hell. Black people
- 32:10Speaker 1: don't try that. Don't that is not for you. Ain't
- 32:15Speaker 1: no come over. Yeah, don't gonna part your hair and
- 32:19Speaker 1: then start brushing it all to that area. You're gonna
- 32:23Speaker 1: look like a fool if there ain't no left over.
- 32:29Speaker 1: Let me do this. Come look, look, your eyebrows are
- 32:33Speaker 1: not supposed to touch. I don't give you can steve
- 32:44Speaker 1: some you to brows. Go, Anthony David got me. You
- 32:49Speaker 1: look like a long line across your head. Okay, j
- 32:57Speaker 1: give me a space in between. Okay, Junior, give me
- 33:01Speaker 1: that brush you just head, give me that okay. If
- 33:04Speaker 1: your hair is the same grade and Kevin Durant, listen, listen,
- 33:12Speaker 1: you're gonna have to do. I need you to get
- 33:14Speaker 1: it lowest possible and then get your brushing. I just
- 33:19Speaker 1: I do. I need you to weep the brush with
- 33:21Speaker 1: you when you come to the bench when they called
- 33:26Speaker 1: time out, grab your brush, grab your brush doing time out,
- 33:31Speaker 1: wear around your neck and just tut your brush in
- 33:36Speaker 1: your shirt. It didn't come out. Come on, come on,
- 33:41Speaker 1: moment next. Growing hair is wonderful. The ability to grow
- 33:52Speaker 1: hair is wonderful. But this is for men that's over
- 33:55Speaker 1: forty five. Growing it in yours and your eels. Man,
- 34:03Speaker 1: say that, damn dog, Listen to me. I got a partner.
- 34:08Speaker 1: You look up his nostril. It's just all gray. Hell.
- 34:11Speaker 1: Hey dog, they got a device that you can tweas
- 34:16Speaker 1: a man. It's a little electronic thing. Just go and
- 34:19Speaker 1: get the nose. You get that hall out your ear
- 34:22Speaker 1: if you want to age yourself. Ill hell and nose.
- 34:27Speaker 1: Hell is the quickest thing that says to a woman.
- 34:30Speaker 1: He's old as hell. Don't care first because they cannot
- 34:37Speaker 1: have hair in hell. Man. Yeah, yeah, okay, Jake, look ahead, Okay,
- 34:46Speaker 1: I can I speak to our white friends because we
- 34:48Speaker 1: do have white listens. Listen, let me tell you something.
- 34:52Speaker 1: We're gonna let you wear braids. We don't care when
- 34:56Speaker 1: you go to Jamaica you want to braid your half
- 34:59Speaker 1: and jo yourself. Let the people make that money. But
- 35:03Speaker 1: as soon as you own your way back here, play
- 35:07Speaker 1: that play. You need to get that stuff taking that half,
- 35:17Speaker 1: get between somebody legs between in a roll before you
- 35:22Speaker 1: and half. As soon as we hit to thousand feet,
- 35:30Speaker 1: you need to be between somebody legs. Don't get the
- 35:35Speaker 1: customs with this half. All right, we'll be back with
- 35:40Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 35:44Speaker 1: You're listening show. When you know it's time to go
- 35:49Speaker 1: back to church, it's time. You know when it's time
- 35:52Speaker 1: to the church. Okay, when you know it is time
- 35:56Speaker 1: to take your butt back to church, somebody needs to
- 36:01Speaker 1: lay hands on me right like now. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus,
- 36:06Speaker 1: how did I get here? When you wake up and
- 36:08Speaker 1: you with somebody and you don't know their name, it
- 36:11Speaker 1: is time to sho who you talk about? Backsliding? Yeah?
- 36:21Speaker 1: How long we've been laying Why I got handcuffed? Yeah?
- 36:30Speaker 1: Try to go back to children. You wake up and
- 36:32Speaker 1: the bike box. You can't explain nothing. Who I'm doing?
- 36:39Speaker 1: Too much too much. You know. It's when you wake
- 36:45Speaker 1: up and you got her phone on what to hear?
- 36:50Speaker 1: We why and it's backwards. You got the fun in
- 37:00Speaker 1: the back and in the back part in the front.
- 37:04Speaker 1: That's a crazy VI help me, a crazy visual right there,
- 37:09Speaker 1: that it's time for you to go back to the church.
- 37:12Speaker 1: When you're starting to look at your boys grandmama and
- 37:15Speaker 1: starting to feel sometime, Yeah, you do something to me.
- 37:34Speaker 1: I never felt the way left it. You know, it's
- 37:37Speaker 1: dying to go back to the church when you see
- 37:39Speaker 1: bankmark on your behind and you don't know how they
- 37:42Speaker 1: got that. Yeah, you can't excuse me no, and it's
- 37:51Speaker 1: a man hand. It's pretty rough that what you got.
- 37:58Speaker 1: I tell you the way. You know, it's trying to
- 38:00Speaker 1: church when your lights water and gave get turned off
- 38:05Speaker 1: the same day. You can't do nothing. It's time to go.
- 38:11Speaker 1: You know, it's time to go back. When you wake
- 38:13Speaker 1: up and your whole chest is period back. Time for
- 38:28Speaker 1: you to go back to church. You've been arguing with
- 38:31Speaker 1: this fine girl for I on ahead it trying to
- 38:35Speaker 1: convince her. It ain't no way y'all can be cooled.
- 38:42Speaker 1: It's to go. We're not really cousins. Now, come on,
- 38:45Speaker 1: how you figuring that we're ut down to the fifth
- 38:49Speaker 1: the fifth trying to go back to church. You know
- 38:54Speaker 1: it's time to go back to church when you wake
- 38:56Speaker 1: up with a tattoo that says Veronica and you don't
- 38:58Speaker 1: know that name. Run all right, we'll be back with
- 39:03Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after you're
- 39:08Speaker 1: listening to you know, um, everyone has a rough day
- 39:14Speaker 1: from time to time. Can we all say that? Everyone?
- 39:17Speaker 1: Everyone across the board? Yeah, male, female, whatever, rich, poor,
- 39:21Speaker 1: You know, we all have a bad day from time
- 39:23Speaker 1: to time. And most of us, you know, most of us, Tommy,
- 39:27Speaker 1: most of us just put on a happy face, stuff
- 39:31Speaker 1: our feelings down and trudge through the day until we
- 39:34Speaker 1: can get home and drown our feelings in a glass
- 39:37Speaker 1: of wine or a bowl of ice cream or you know,
- 39:40Speaker 1: our reality show whatever it is, you know, the floats
- 39:43Speaker 1: or whatever it is. Um, anyway, that's what we do.
- 39:46Speaker 1: But a new study shows that where are we holding
- 39:48Speaker 1: it end? Okay, exactly this is we are cussing as
- 39:52Speaker 1: soon as somehow when you start cussing, you relieve all
- 39:56Speaker 1: the world all walk out the way home da in
- 40:00Speaker 1: a glass of wine. Drown myself. Why can't cuss and
- 40:03Speaker 1: then get some wine later making me understand that? Or okay,
- 40:07Speaker 1: but get neaked in your case. But a new study
- 40:10Speaker 1: shows that letting yourself be in a bad mood can
- 40:14Speaker 1: be better for you in the long run. Tommy, see
- 40:16Speaker 1: you're right. Researchers from the University of California, Berkeley looked
- 40:20Speaker 1: at the link between psychological health and accepting your emotions
- 40:24Speaker 1: in thirteen hundred adults, and in three separate studies, it
- 40:28Speaker 1: turns out that folks who fought their negative emotions ended
- 40:31Speaker 1: up feeling more stressed than those who just embrace feeling
- 40:35Speaker 1: down and you know, accepting that they had a rough day.
- 40:38Speaker 1: And they says, maybe if you have an accepting attitude
- 40:41Speaker 1: about negative feelings, you're not giving them as much attention.
- 40:45Speaker 1: And if you're always judging your emotions, that negativity can
- 40:49Speaker 1: add up, it can build up. So Tommy, you agree
- 40:52Speaker 1: appearing God, cussing as soon as something hell and get
- 40:56Speaker 1: that all for you. Then go home, get Nikki, get
- 41:00Speaker 1: a glass of wine and walk around your house. That's
- 41:03Speaker 1: a stress reliever. I don't agree with holding all this
- 41:07Speaker 1: in and building all that up and it just get
- 41:09Speaker 1: just builds and builds and build and then you exc
- 41:13Speaker 1: now you in jail because you had too much tension,
- 41:16Speaker 1: too much ye jail. Yeah, yeah, because you didn't let
- 41:19Speaker 1: it build up. But Tommy, okay, you do all that.
- 41:22Speaker 1: I agree with you because that is how you handle it.
- 41:25Speaker 1: But you hold grudges, Tommy, you don't let anything. I don't. Yeah,
- 41:30Speaker 1: I haven't seen you, not like not y'all. I ain't
- 41:32Speaker 1: got no grudges with y'all. No, but the people I
- 41:34Speaker 1: got grudged with, like my high school third grade third grag. Yeah,
- 41:41Speaker 1: well you should have took my crayon out of my box.
- 41:43Speaker 1: I hash for the brows back. I ain't have brown.
- 41:47Speaker 1: But when I see y'all, well I see Charles Gibson,
- 41:49Speaker 1: it's still all. It does not matter, grag Charles. But
- 41:54Speaker 1: if you're listening, I have not forgot y'all. While I
- 41:57Speaker 1: thought Tommy was the only one on the show, Well,
- 41:59Speaker 1: I we don't have no family. We did, we worked,
- 42:04Speaker 1: but now we cross me. What you will not get
- 42:09Speaker 1: the chance to cross me again. You can't do my goodness.
- 42:12Speaker 1: Have you ever heard of a word called what let
- 42:15Speaker 1: me think? Yeah, we've heard of it. We just don't
- 42:18Speaker 1: use it on I heard f R G I V. Yeah,
- 42:22Speaker 1: I heard what because Tommy, I know I just didn't
- 42:28Speaker 1: know that about you, Junior. Yeah, and I'm shocked. I'm
- 42:32Speaker 1: giving somebody sho. I'm very okay. Let's say this. Let's
- 42:37Speaker 1: say somebody took some money from Let's say five hunting.
- 42:39Speaker 1: Somebody got me on five hun Now, I'm through fooling
- 42:42Speaker 1: with this person. Okay, Okay, I'm through fooling with him.
- 42:47Speaker 1: I will try and speak to him when I seen him,
- 42:49Speaker 1: but I'm gonna keep it moving. Let that guy, let
- 42:53Speaker 1: that go. Maybe they just really needed it and you
- 42:56Speaker 1: were there for them at the time and they didn't
- 42:58Speaker 1: know how to deal with it. But and you mess
- 43:00Speaker 1: over me, I'm to hell through with you. Yeah, you
- 43:04Speaker 1: can't do but I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna later,
- 43:07Speaker 1: be no secret. I'm gonna tell you to the face
- 43:10Speaker 1: I'm to hell through with you. And I'm a cancel
- 43:13Speaker 1: so I don't forget you know how he is coming.
- 43:20Speaker 1: I'm forgiving heathens, all right. I'm t hope you ain't.
- 43:26Speaker 1: We'll be back after this, Okay. I'm a Leo and
- 43:30Speaker 1: you guys are crazy. We'll beat don't you sat to
- 43:37Speaker 1: do with you. You're listening stry morning show coming up

- 45:38Speaker 1: we just put down where we would get it. And

- 47:06Speaker 1: the family seals out the paperwork, pus the name in
- 47:10Speaker 1: the birthdate on there. If it is incorrect, it has
- 47:13Speaker 1: to be fixed. I have to call the man out
- 47:15Speaker 1: here to fix it, and that's gonna call some money.
- 47:18Speaker 1: I have to pay him. All I'm saying is, if
- 47:21Speaker 1: that is the case, if the paperwork is incorrect, it's
- 47:24Speaker 1: not the owners, and I might have to charge you
- 47:25Speaker 1: a little extra money just so I can get it
- 47:28Speaker 1: taken care of. To get charge nothing. We are more money, man.
- 47:32Speaker 1: We ain't getting no more money, Charney, we ain't getting

- 48:15Speaker 1: put you If you don't fix then we're both going
- 48:19Speaker 1: in the damn hole. That's what's gonna happen. We're going

- 48:24Speaker 1: put the room you want to put the spill my

- 48:39Speaker 1: you yelling at each other, we mean we don't do this.
- 48:43Speaker 1: Yelling at each other is not gonna fix the problems.
- 48:45Speaker 1: I still have to do a step here. I have
- 48:48Speaker 1: to look at this paperwork. When are you gonna look
- 48:50Speaker 1: at it? Then? Retheron? You keep yelling. I don't even
- 48:52Speaker 1: have time to you Gold with its paperwork. Every time
- 48:54Speaker 1: I get really looking at something, you're yelling in my head.

- 50:08Speaker 1: dat man Old being here today. Day I knew something
- 50:17Speaker 1: was funny. Oh man, you got me, But I was
- 50:21Speaker 1: gonna do the whole for you to day trying to dig.
- 50:26Speaker 1: Hey man, I gotta ask you one more thing. What
- 50:28Speaker 1: is the baddest I'm talking about the baddest radio show
- 50:31Speaker 1: in the land, the Steve Hardy Morning Show. How y'all
- 50:40Speaker 1: like that? You was I ignanted? Is what I want
- 50:47Speaker 1: to know most? De play too? You know? You know what,
- 50:52Speaker 1: as long as you see a touch of stupid, that's
- 50:56Speaker 1: all that matter to me. It's more than a touch.
- 50:59Speaker 1: But okay, okay, touch. We wouldn't be discussing this way
- 51:07Speaker 1: more than is it a drop or touch? Which one is?
- 51:10Speaker 1: Is it a dropping stupid or a touch? Which one?
- 51:13Speaker 1: Do you think it is? All I'm saying is I
- 51:15Speaker 1: just want to make sure that I made you proud
- 51:19Speaker 1: with my stupidity. Wow? Did I do your uncle? I'm
- 51:25Speaker 1: talking about my uncle I've never been so quit asking us.
- 51:31Speaker 1: You know, he never he never got you. Okay, okay, Jack,
- 51:36Speaker 1: Wait wait wait wait wait wait, you've never been proud
- 51:39Speaker 1: of him, Steve Well never never well when he got that,
- 51:47Speaker 1: when he was the first black to get a degree
- 51:50Speaker 1: from the Texas A and M. He was kind of
- 51:54Speaker 1: proud of that. Okay, but but my but has my
- 52:00Speaker 1: stupidited though? You see you mess? I think Lebron wants
- 52:05Speaker 1: to trademarket. I thought I was going to embrace that,
- 52:15Speaker 1: but that was really a little a curveball. You think
- 52:19Speaker 1: you ain't really whit me? Well, I know who is? Jay?
- 52:24Speaker 1: Tell me all the way? All right? Thank you that
- 52:30Speaker 1: you uh. Coming up next, it is the Strawberry Letter,
- 52:33Speaker 1: subject my boys can't be trusted. Wait till you guys

- 53:01Speaker 1: FM and click submit Strawberry Letter. We could be reading
- 53:05Speaker 1: your letter live on the air, just like we're gonna
- 53:07Speaker 1: read this one right here, right now. Let's get you
- 53:10Speaker 1: heard what she said. Buckle up and hold on tight.
- 53:12Speaker 1: We got it for you here. It is the Strawberry Letter,
- 53:16Speaker 1: subject my boys can't be trusted. Dear Stephen Shirley, I've
- 53:20Speaker 1: been worrying about my marriage and how my past actions
- 53:23Speaker 1: may threaten it. A few months ago, my friends and
- 53:26Speaker 1: I went on a guy's trip. We always go on
- 53:29Speaker 1: trips together, and the wives got together and take trips
- 53:32Speaker 1: too well. While I was on the trip, I ate
- 53:37Speaker 1: good and drank a lot. We went clubbing, and since
- 53:40Speaker 1: I love to dance, I was salsa dancing with the
- 53:42Speaker 1: ladies and may have been a little too close to
- 53:47Speaker 1: one particular lady that danced very sensually. I didn't make
- 53:51Speaker 1: out with her or anyone else, but my body language
- 53:54Speaker 1: was inappropriate for a married man. I enjoyed myself on
- 53:59Speaker 1: the trip, but here is where my problems started. We
- 54:02Speaker 1: have a couple of guys in the group that gossip
- 54:04Speaker 1: and share bits and pieces of our trip with their
- 54:07Speaker 1: wives or others. They also are all on social media
- 54:10Speaker 1: and have started recording videos and posting them on Facebook
- 54:14Speaker 1: or on Instagram, and this is causing problems. I'm not
- 54:17Speaker 1: on social media at all, but my wife and the
- 54:20Speaker 1: other wives are. I may have been caught in a
- 54:23Speaker 1: few compromising positions, and my friends don't even check the
- 54:26Speaker 1: videos or pictures before they post them. Again. I'm innocent,
- 54:32Speaker 1: but I am enjoying myself while on vacation and should
- 54:36Speaker 1: not have to worry about my boys snapping pictures. The
- 54:39Speaker 1: wrong video and the wrong hands can impact one's marriage
- 54:42Speaker 1: and career. I have told my boys that they are
- 54:45Speaker 1: breaking mancode, but once they start drinking, they all have
- 54:49Speaker 1: their phones out to take pictures. I want to enjoy
- 54:53Speaker 1: my vacations in peace. How should I handle this? Help me? Well,
- 54:57Speaker 1: you certainly sound like the adult, the grown own man
- 55:00Speaker 1: in this group for sure. And if what you're saying
- 55:05Speaker 1: is true that you didn't make out, meaning go all
- 55:07Speaker 1: the way or sleep with any one of these women
- 55:09Speaker 1: that you were dancing with, that's good because you're right
- 55:12Speaker 1: posting pictures of you acting inappropriately and all of that
- 55:16Speaker 1: that could get you in a world of trouble, not
- 55:18Speaker 1: a good look for a married man. Your friends are wrong.
- 55:21Speaker 1: They seem a little, I don't know, immature, I'll say
- 55:26Speaker 1: not because they're taking pictures and posting. I mean everyone
- 55:29Speaker 1: does that, but these are your boys, you know, and
- 55:32Speaker 1: you're right, you guys do have a certain man code.
- 55:34Speaker 1: I mean women have girl codes. We have that too.
- 55:38Speaker 1: I mean, I just think your friends are wrong. I
- 55:41Speaker 1: think if your wife sees these pictures and sees you
- 55:43Speaker 1: in compromising positions, it's definitely gonna cause some problems in
- 55:46Speaker 1: your marriage. Obviously, she trusts you in the first place
- 55:49Speaker 1: to go on these trips and kick it with your boys,
- 55:52Speaker 1: but posting pictures like these, that's gotta stop. I mean,
- 55:56Speaker 1: even if you have to go so far as to
- 55:58Speaker 1: not go on a trip anymore with these guys, because
- 56:02Speaker 1: they can get you in a lot of trouble. I
- 56:04Speaker 1: just think next time, you know, if your wife will
- 56:08Speaker 1: let you go again, you guys need to set some
- 56:10Speaker 1: kind of ground rules. Leave your phones in the hotel rooms,
- 56:13Speaker 1: you know, something like that, and get approval before you
- 56:16Speaker 1: post pictures. Nobody wants to be worried if they're on vacation,
- 56:20Speaker 1: you know, especially if you're not doing anything wrong about
- 56:23Speaker 1: posting pictures and people getting the wrong ideas, Steve, you
- 56:28Speaker 1: know this letter. To most men listening to this letter,
- 56:35Speaker 1: this is like what this is like? Man? You did what?
- 56:42Speaker 1: Every man listening to this don't get it. There are
- 56:49Speaker 1: no men listening to this going oh yeah, yeah, I
- 56:54Speaker 1: could see that. Every man listening to this is going
- 56:58Speaker 1: what right? Let me you know, y'all take any boys trip,
- 57:02Speaker 1: your wives take their trip. I bet you the wives
- 57:06Speaker 1: don't do that. I bet you don't see the wives
- 57:09Speaker 1: posting anything inappropriate. I bet you on one of them
- 57:13Speaker 1: wives trip, they probably went to a Chippindale show. How
- 57:18Speaker 1: almost I'm thinking. I'm just saying maybe they did, or
- 57:21Speaker 1: some burlesque show or something, a stuffing singles down in
- 57:26Speaker 1: draws and all this. Hell won't they probably did. That's
- 57:32Speaker 1: what y'all do. But you ain't gonna see it new
- 57:37Speaker 1: because women ain't stupid, because women are the slickest of
- 57:45Speaker 1: the two. Women know we're gonna do this here. Girl,
- 57:49Speaker 1: you bet not pull a camera out. So it leads
- 57:53Speaker 1: me to ask you this question, what kind of dudes
- 57:57Speaker 1: you got? I'm just real curious, man. Are you not
- 58:02Speaker 1: familiar with the phrase what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas?
- 58:08Speaker 1: You know where that slogan came from. Everywhere? They ain't
- 58:14Speaker 1: just talking about Vegas. What happened in Philly at the
- 58:20Speaker 1: All Star weekend? They need to stay in Philly at
- 58:23Speaker 1: the All Star weekend. What happened down that Super Bowl
- 58:26Speaker 1: down in Miami and ninety five they need to stay down? Now.
- 58:32Speaker 1: Huh what happened when the All Star Game came to
- 58:37Speaker 1: Las Vegas? Huh that needs to stay down? Are you mad?
- 58:43Speaker 1: I'm just saying what happened when the Kings of Comedy
- 58:48Speaker 1: tour it in DC at the w at the MCI Center.
- 58:51Speaker 1: They need to stay down. What happened? I don't know.
- 58:55Speaker 1: I'm just saying these things need to stay down. What
- 59:02Speaker 1: happened that night after showtime? And Depolo that needs to
- 59:06Speaker 1: stay down. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas is
- 59:13Speaker 1: a reference to everywhere. Now, let me say this about
- 59:18Speaker 1: your boys. You say it in the letter, but you know,
- 59:21Speaker 1: once you get to drinking, y'all need to quit drinking, y'all.
- 59:26Speaker 1: Stupid ass drinking then took your mental capacity. All right,
- 59:30Speaker 1: hang on, Steve, we're gonna have stupid as We're gonna
- 59:33Speaker 1: have part two of your response coming up at twenty
- 59:37Speaker 1: three after the hour. Subject of today's Strawberry letter, my
- 59:40Speaker 1: boys can't be trusted and we'll be back right after this.
- 59:44Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 59:48Speaker 1: let's recap today's Strawberry letters. Subject my boys can't be trusted.
- 59:54Speaker 1: Damn shame here and your dumb ass all on social
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: media because your boys don't know how to react. So
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: here's what didn't happen. This dude go on this trip
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: with his boys, but they post stuff on social media. Now,
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: he had a sauca club because he loved it dance,
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: and he get with this girl and she just doing
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: some inappropriate moves, but he danced some way too close.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Come on, toe y' out there with your boys. You
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: by yourself. She up on you. What you're supposed to do.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: You can't punk out and don't go back. Excuse me?
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: What if you're rubbing up against me? I got the
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: rub back. That's the man law. Yeah, you rub up
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: on me. I can't punk out er er er er
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: You know you married, but you know what you got
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: to do. Get your hands on her waist and let's go. Now.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: You just sauca dancing and nothing happened. But your boys,
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: these ignorant ass puppish you then went somewhere with it's
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: video and stuff and posted it. You know, Like I said,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. They didn't create
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: that phrase just for Vegas. That's what's happening in New York.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: Stay in New York. What happened down now at the
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: bachelor party, stay at the Bachelor party. All this women
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: do it too. What happened at the Chippendale Club? Stay
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: at the Chippendale Club. Women don't post stuff about each other.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: You know better. And here which leads me to this,
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: your boys know better too. They ain't that damn young.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: How old are they? Well, I'm gonna tell you something, man,
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: when you post, I don't care how drunk you are.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: It takes something to post. See, I don't even know
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: how to post. I had to high people to post
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: when I want something to go up. Yeah, because I
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: don't even know how to post. So when you post
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: it take a little bit of thought. I don't know
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: if you drunk, if you can post or not. Maybe
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: you're that good at it, but then take a little
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: bit of work to post something. I think your boys
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: no better. I have a question how old are they? Now?
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: Here's the next statement I want to make. You need
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: a new group of friends, because if your boy is
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: doing this, you know you got some punk ass friends.
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: Can I just tell you that you just got some
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: punk ass friends? That's doing they dude like that. They're
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: so damn stupid they've got to post everything. If yeah,
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: are y'all fifteen? But you're married though, so I know
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: you're grown. When people post something, it's intentional that who
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: you know saying, oh, I accidentally posted that. No posting
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: is a process, partner, You ain't accidentally. You intentionally post
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: when you post. So let me tell you something, dog,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: you got some punk ass friends. I'm gonna just let
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: you know that you said that. Who you said that? Real? Though? No,
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: for real, don't tell me you know that's how I
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: feel on the real, Dog, you just got to tell
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: it like it is. And you're sitting up in the man,
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: you're gonna mess your marriage up with these dudes right
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: here over nothing. I know where you had you at
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: the saucy club. You love to dance. She backing all
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: up on you. What you can't run? She backing up?
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: You got to you got to get crowded. What's that
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: voice if he did decide to back up, what was
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: that voice you had earlier? Oh you, I'm married, You
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: get over me. You're pushing your boolly. I'm married. I'm
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: here with my friend. They're gonna post it. You stop.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: You stopped backing that thing up. You stop, you stopped
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: pushing up over me. I'm married, me and my friend.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: Y'all stopped recording this. Put y'all camera down, cut them

- 1:09:51Speaker 1: I'll take these personals. Okay. Number four, you need to
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: just cut the rest of that hair on off playing
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: like that, all right? And number five that's not a
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: manly dog. That's not a manly dog. Dang girl, that's
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: way too much lift. Bloss. Let me tell, let me
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: slide this. You know you got on too much lift bloss.
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: When I see you and I can see my reflection
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: and I'm thinking to myself, Lord, I wish I had

- 1:10:40Speaker 1: nip I don't really like seeing this, But I've had

- 1:11:00Speaker 1: Take some of this off, way too much, way too
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: much lip bloff. When you eat a chicken leg and

- 1:11:10Speaker 1: pink all around the leg, Come on, man, you gotta
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: take some of that down much. That's way too much
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: lip bloves. Man, you got on too much lip bloss.
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: If it looked like slob, you can't tell that's too Yeah,
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: you know you got on too much lip bloffs when
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: your lips is leaking on the flat right on the
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: side and just dripping down. One time fed on so
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: much red nip bloss. What I wanted to know I said, damn,
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: who hit you in the mouth? Help? Yeah, you don't
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: just hit my girl? All right, all right, all right?
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: You know you gotta way too much little gloves. When
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: I walk in the room and everybody got your lip
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: blows on because you didn't kiss them, everybody wearing it. Now,
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: that's a lot of gloves. If you talking and it
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: didn't look like somebody flashes on that too much? You know,
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: you got on a lot of lip blow. When you
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: open your mouth you make a bubble. It's a lot
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: of little cloths. That's a lot of I tell you
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: right now, you got on a lot of little clothes.
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: I look at you and I see flies trapped, little
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: stuffed up round your mouth. You didn't trap the bunch
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: of flat wild I say too much. You know you
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: wear too much liveloff. If anything we said and pissed you,
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: I'm a man. Why didn't tell them? That means you
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: know who you are? All right, Thanks, guys, always, all right,
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: We'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: Show right after this. You're listening to any guesses on
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: the word of the year, you know her Miriam Webster
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: The Dictionary reveals the word of the year. Any guesses
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: on what that word might be this year, we've said
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: it a lot, every tanglement a lot. That's a good,
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: good one. Would you say, Steve, that's very close, that's close. Yes, yes, yes, yes,
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: yes yes. Pandemic. The word pandemic is not just technical,
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: but it's become general now. It's probably the word by
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: which we'll refer to this period in the future. Other
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: buzzwords like quarantine, asymptomatic were runner up, runners up. So
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: there you go. Pandemic. Thought sugar honey iced tea was
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: real big, you got more words? What else you got?
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: If you could describe this year in one word? What
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: would it be that you can say? Sugar honey, sugar
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: honey ice is like blackish like sugar honey, sugar honey
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: iced t t Yes, Okay, hey man, it's been like
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: I've really had a blessed year. To be honest with
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: all jokes aside, I had a blessed year. I have
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: some struggles in it, yeah, but still standing man, And
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: I'm grateful. So it's the key, grateful, the key. More
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: of the Sea Harvey Morning Show at thirty three minutes
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: after the hour, right after this, you're listening show. When
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: you know it's time to go back to church, it's time.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: You know when it's time to go back the church. Okay,
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: when you know it is time to take yo, but
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: back to church. Somebody needs to lay hands on me
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: right now. Jesus, Jesus, how did I get here? When
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: you wake up and you with somebody and you don't
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: know their name, it is time to go Who you
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: talk about backsliding? Yeah? Yeah, how long we've been laying
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: Why I got handcuffed? Yeah? Time to go back to church.
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: When you wake up in this bike box, you can't
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: explain nothing. Who I'm doing too much? I'm doing too much.
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: You know it's back in that church. When you wake
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: up and you got her phone home? What the hell
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: we were? And it's backwards? You got in the back
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: and in the back, but in the front. That's the
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: crazy ye crazy visual right there. It's time for you
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: to go back to church. When you starting to look
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: at your boys grandmama and starting to feel sometimes, yeah,
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: back to you. I never felt away left it. You
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: know it's time to go back to your church. When
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: you see spake mark on your behind and you don't
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: know how they got that yeah, you can't excuse me,
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: you know, and it's a man hand. It's pretty rough,
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: pretty way, you know what's trying to go to church? Actually,
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: when your light's watering gay get turned off the same day,
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: you can't do nothing. It's time to you know, it's
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: time to go back. When you wake up and your
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: whole chest is pierced, it's time for you to go
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: back to church. You've been arguing with this fine girl
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: for on ahead, trying to convince hard. It ain't no
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: way y'all can be closed. It's seven ago. We're not
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: really cousin's now, Come on, how you figuring that we
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: rut down to the fifth? The fifth? It's time to
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: go back church. You know it's time to go back
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: church when you wake up with a tattoo that says
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: Veronica and you don't know that name. All right, Steve
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: coming up closing remarks right after this. You're listening show.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: All right, we are back, last break of the day.
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: Here is Steve. Just one more thing in our closing remark,
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: I want to give you an analogy everybody that I
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: came up with a long time ago about reaping the
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: harvest of your late I think that's what all of
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: us want to do. Well. Most folks I know don't
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: mind working. So if you work, you want to get paid,
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: you want to reap a benefit. So growing up around
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: the farm with my uncle and my grandfather, I learned
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: some things about farming that I've applied to my current life.
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna share it with you today. If you look
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: at yourself as a farmer, which we all are, we
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: are all trying to grow some crop that will one
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: day benefit us in selling at the market or being
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: able to have a big spread and eat and sustain
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: our life. That's how we look at it. But before
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: you can benefit from this, you gotta tell the earth.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: You gotta tell the ground. You gotta get out there
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: and you gotta turn that soil over and flip it
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: over to prime it and getting ready for plant. So
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: when you plant, you want to make rolls. So let's
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: say you walk your mule down to the end of
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: the role with a plow attached to it. When you
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: get down to the in the role, you stop. You
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: gotta go back to the beginning of that role, and
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: you're gotta start dropping seeds in the ground and cover
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: them up with your hand. As you go this is
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: how you start the process to being successful. After you've
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: covered it, it takes a long time. This is not
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: a day's process. Now I'm giving you something that happens
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: over years. You go back down to that row. After
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: you plant all your seeds and you cover them, you
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: hook yourself back up to the plow, and you come
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: all the way down that role back to where you
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: started to make your second row. You want to hook
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: yourself from the plow and you go back up there
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: and you drop some most seeds in the ground and
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: you start covering them up till you're all the way
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: back at your plow, which is one row over from
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: the row you first started in. Now, when you look
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: at your road that you first started in, it's time
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: to start watering the seeds that you planted. And you
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: walk down there and your water water water, water, water,
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: water water. You come back down to the beginning, you
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: hook yourself up to the plow, and you start making
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: your third row of seeds. You gotta constantly be plants.
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: You gotta constantly be planting seeds. And when you make
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: that third row and you get down at the top,
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: you go back to the second row and you start
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: watering that role. Well, by the time you get to
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: round row five or planting row one is starting to sprout.
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: There's some crop coming up out the ground. And when
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: that crop comes out the ground, but you don't want
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: to do it's go over there and start eating it
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: right away because it ain't even came to fruition. It's
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: not full bearing fruit or full berried corn. You're just
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: gonna be eating stalks. So you gotta be patient and
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: let it grow so it can turn into something. Now
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: along the way you start making your other roles. You
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: gotta go back every now and then you gotta put
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: out pesticides because the haters is coming. You gotta put
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: pesticides out to protect from against the little haters, the
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: little people that's trying to eat your crops so they
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: grow up. Put some pesticides out. So you go down
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: there and you keep plant your rolls. And you got
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: thirty rolls made, thirty rolls. You look down there, Roll
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: one starting to bear fruit. Now you can go down
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: there and you can start eating off a Roll one,
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: But Roll thirty still needs to be tended to. Roll
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: fifteen needs fertilizing. You need water sometimes sometimes you gotta
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: cut them back. Sometimes you gotta walk back through your
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: crops and check for weeds. Have you high at somebody
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: or you allowed or relative or friend to infiltrate your plan,
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: and they're now there just messing up your garden, digging
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: holes in and then knocking over your crops. You gotta
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: go back and you gotta d weed your crops. You
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: gotta get rid of some people because if you're not careful,
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: they back the messing up what you to work for.
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: And you just keep planting, rolling, just keep planting seeds.
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: You just keep covering up with dirty You just keep
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: watering there. You keep going back and provide pesticides until
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: you look up and you got so many rolls, so
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: many rods, And the further you look back, there's more
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: crops coming about the ground. There's more trees bearing fruit,
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: there's more corn stalks producing corn. And now you can
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: go back and eat. That's what they call fruits of
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: your labor. That's when you can go back and you
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: can start eating. But you gotta constantly tend to the
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: garden man, because the pesticides are always a problem. The
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: weeds growing up amongst your crops is always a problem.
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: We are all farmers in life. We are all hoping
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: to reap the benefits now. Sometimes as a farmer, or
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: drought hits. Ain't no water. Sometimes as a farmer, a
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: flood come through. These are the things that happen in
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: life all the time. Because floods and droughts hit farmers,
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: they don't stop farming. They know they got to start again,
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: and they just do it because they understand that's the
