- 2:02Speaker 1: I shall well a good morning everybody, y'all listening to
- 2:06Speaker 1: the voice come on dig me NW one and only
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harley got a radio show. I was. I had
- 2:14Speaker 1: my head down and it was thinking of what I
- 2:18Speaker 1: wanted to say this morning. But it kind of it's
- 2:23Speaker 1: kind of be something I've lived for a long time,
- 2:27Speaker 1: and you know, for a long time, you know, I
- 2:31Speaker 1: had a lot of faith in people. You know. It's
- 2:33Speaker 1: strange too, because you know, you know, my mother was
- 2:37Speaker 1: a Sunday school teacher, so of course I grew up
- 2:40Speaker 1: around it, knowing the scriptures and things like that. Not
- 2:44Speaker 1: not a lot of them, but you know, the ones
- 2:46Speaker 1: I retained. But having her as a mother was was
- 2:51Speaker 1: a huge help and understanding about faith. But even with that,
- 2:55Speaker 1: as I grew up, I began to put a lot
- 2:58Speaker 1: of faith in people, and you know, I figured, you know,
- 3:02Speaker 1: just like everybody else, you know, man if I could
- 3:05Speaker 1: just meet this person, or if I could just sit
- 3:08Speaker 1: down with that person, or man if I could just
- 3:10Speaker 1: get this person to hear my ideal, or man if
- 3:14Speaker 1: if this person could hear my track, or man if
- 3:17Speaker 1: I could just get this in the hands or somebody
- 3:20Speaker 1: in the know. I was, like everybody else, I thought
- 3:24Speaker 1: that way. You know, I actually thought that if I
- 3:26Speaker 1: could get in a certain situation with a certain person,
- 3:30Speaker 1: that if a certain person were to meet me, that
- 3:33Speaker 1: you know, it could change everything for me. Oh man,
- 3:38Speaker 1: Oh how wrong I was? Oh how wrong I was?
- 3:42Speaker 1: How long did I spend feeling that way? And how
- 3:45Speaker 1: many of you out there possibly have felt that way before?
- 3:49Speaker 1: You know, like even in a relationship, this is the
- 3:51Speaker 1: person for me, and you know, you just lay claim
- 3:54Speaker 1: to that, you know, not necessarily being a fact, but
- 3:57Speaker 1: you just lay claim to it. This is the person
- 4:00Speaker 1: and for me, this is the person that I want
- 4:02Speaker 1: to spend the rest of my life with. You know, sometimes,
- 4:04Speaker 1: you know, we just lay claim to stuff and it's
- 4:06Speaker 1: not always what's in our best interests, or it's not
- 4:09Speaker 1: always a fact, it's just what we decided we want it.
- 4:13Speaker 1: And I was guilty of that, just like anybody else.
- 4:16Speaker 1: And I spent a lot of years in my life
- 4:18Speaker 1: putting faith in people. Man, if I could tell you
- 4:22Speaker 1: anything this morning, it's to stop putting your faith in
- 4:25Speaker 1: people and put your faith in God where it counts
- 4:28Speaker 1: the most. I mean, you can get something out of
- 4:31Speaker 1: this one. See, here's a deal about a relationship with God.
- 4:35Speaker 1: It's the same all the time. He never changes. His
- 4:39Speaker 1: word is one percent absolute. His word doesn't have loopholes
- 4:43Speaker 1: in it, none of that. It's this is what it is.
- 4:47Speaker 1: He's very clear. Now, you can deviate off your end
- 4:51Speaker 1: at a bargain, but it don't stop what he says
- 4:55Speaker 1: from being true. But if he asks you to do something,
- 4:58Speaker 1: if God asks you to be a certain way, to
- 5:00Speaker 1: do a little something a certain way, and you don't
- 5:03Speaker 1: do it that way, then you know you could still
- 5:06Speaker 1: possibly get by for a while. But don't you understand
- 5:11Speaker 1: that his end of the deal stays the same, and
- 5:13Speaker 1: as long as you're not doing it the way you're
- 5:15Speaker 1: supposed to, the results are not going to be what
- 5:18Speaker 1: you wanted to be. And I did this for years
- 5:20Speaker 1: and years and years, and I counted on people, and
- 5:24Speaker 1: you know, I got myself in a lot of situations.
- 5:27Speaker 1: And I got out one a dire situation that I'd
- 5:30Speaker 1: been in for a number of years. But he had
- 5:32Speaker 1: protected me from years prior to that. I didn't even
- 5:35Speaker 1: know what was going on, and then he made it away.
- 5:38Speaker 1: It made me aware of the problem. And then, man,
- 5:41Speaker 1: lord ha mercy, I was in a dismal situation. And
- 5:44Speaker 1: then at the end of the year, I was free,
- 5:47Speaker 1: free from it all. But it was a decision that
- 5:50Speaker 1: I had made that led up to that, and in
- 5:54Speaker 1: going through that process, I had to learn something. Man.
- 5:58Speaker 1: I learned a lot about people. See, if you want
- 6:01Speaker 1: to learn about your friends, if you want to learn
- 6:03Speaker 1: about your people people around you, get yourself in some trouble,
- 6:08Speaker 1: get yourself in a situation. Oh man, you start looking around. Man,
- 6:13Speaker 1: the field get real clear when you're in trouble. The
- 6:16Speaker 1: field clear is out when you're in doubt, when you
- 6:19Speaker 1: don't know what to do, when you need help it
- 6:22Speaker 1: get real clear on the play and field, then don't it. Oh,
- 6:25Speaker 1: But when things is going right, it's time for a party.
- 6:28Speaker 1: We throw in a celebration. We were gonna we're gonna
- 6:31Speaker 1: do one down here. Oh man, there's plenty of people
- 6:34Speaker 1: on the field. But but but get yourself in a situation.
- 6:37Speaker 1: You find out rather quickly that old no, old no,
- 6:42Speaker 1: everybody ain't here. And that's when I started learning. And
- 6:45Speaker 1: I'm telling you, I had to start learning this for
- 6:48Speaker 1: real until I finally got it to stop putting my
- 6:51Speaker 1: faith in people and put all the mine in God
- 6:54Speaker 1: where it counts the most. Now is that to say
- 6:57Speaker 1: that there are people that you can't trust. No, that's
- 6:59Speaker 1: not what I'm saying. I ain't say you can't trust him,
- 7:02Speaker 1: but you can't dump your faith in him. I got
- 7:05Speaker 1: it all riding on what he say. I got it
- 7:08Speaker 1: all riding on what she say. Na, Na, No, I
- 7:15Speaker 1: hear you saying it. But I'm gonna keep my own
- 7:18Speaker 1: on this situation because I hear you saying it. But
- 7:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna take this faith of mine and instead of
- 7:25Speaker 1: putting it in people, I'm gonna put it in God
- 7:27Speaker 1: where it counts the most. Because his word is absolute.
- 7:31Speaker 1: What he say he gonna do, he gonna do what
- 7:33Speaker 1: he says. He's not gonna tolerate, He's not gonna tolerate. Now,
- 7:36Speaker 1: you can make it. You can make it tolerable for yourself,
- 7:38Speaker 1: but He's not gonna tolerate it. And that's just the
- 7:41Speaker 1: end of the line. And so you know, I'm wondering
- 7:44Speaker 1: how many people out there finding themselves in a situation
- 7:47Speaker 1: like me, or maybe you've gotten yourself in a situation
- 7:50Speaker 1: because you put your faith in some people and now
- 7:52Speaker 1: you wound up in a different type of situation. Now,
- 7:54Speaker 1: let me ask you, whetting people that the only one
- 8:00Speaker 1: on that I found when I was in my deepest trouble,
- 8:04Speaker 1: when me and my wife were in our darkest situation,
- 8:07Speaker 1: was God. Is the only one was the only one
- 8:11Speaker 1: who was just right there, right there all the way through. Now,
- 8:18Speaker 1: let me explain something to you. Because you have this
- 8:21Speaker 1: relationship with God, it does not mean, it does not
- 8:25Speaker 1: mean now that it won't get It won't still be
- 8:28Speaker 1: a situation, you understand. But what He will do is
- 8:33Speaker 1: protect you during that period. He'll cover you during that
- 8:38Speaker 1: period that it is a situation. He will give you
- 8:41Speaker 1: the strength to overcome the situation when it turns into
- 8:45Speaker 1: a situation. Then when He cracks it open for you
- 8:49Speaker 1: and the sun is bright and shining, what he don't
- 8:51Speaker 1: want you to do is when he gets sunny again,
- 8:54Speaker 1: to forget about him who was there when it was
- 8:56Speaker 1: dark for you. See, I used to do that too,
- 9:00Speaker 1: you know. I was Oh, man, I did it. I'm
- 9:02Speaker 1: telling you right now, I did it. But I'm telling
- 9:05Speaker 1: you man, when I learned a very serious lesson and
- 9:09Speaker 1: I watched some people I thought were friends of mine
- 9:13Speaker 1: just sort of casually remove themselves from the situation. Then
- 9:18Speaker 1: I said, okay. Me and Margie looked around. We said, okay,
- 9:22Speaker 1: it's just me, you and God, and we started conducting
- 9:25Speaker 1: ourselves accordingly. So when it's sunny for us, we remember God,
- 9:31Speaker 1: we stay prayerful, we keep talking to him. We thank
- 9:34Speaker 1: him for the sunshine, we thank him for the dark
- 9:37Speaker 1: days that he allowed us to do, who allowed us
- 9:40Speaker 1: to survive it and turn it into sunny days. And
- 9:43Speaker 1: we talked to him constantly to protect us of our
- 9:45Speaker 1: future enemies. And that's what the deal is. So if
- 9:48Speaker 1: I was everybody, I would stop putting your faith in
- 9:51Speaker 1: people and put your trust in God where it really
- 9:54Speaker 1: does count the most, it really really does. You're listening
- 9:57Speaker 1: to one two one two three? I got it? What
- 10:08Speaker 1: I got it? What it is you got Steve? I
- 10:11Speaker 1: got it. Why won't you tell everybody got it? Said
- 10:16Speaker 1: like you mean it? I got it one time? Say
- 10:21Speaker 1: it again? Got it, full time, got it, got it,
- 10:25Speaker 1: got it? Got it? Dawn sad? Sad one time. Well
- 10:36Speaker 1: that's just how I felt like you want it this morning.
- 10:38Speaker 1: I ain't really had no reason. I just all right yourself,
- 10:45Speaker 1: you know it. You know I just was on one
- 10:51Speaker 1: of them this morning. Anyway, Remember, get your two right today.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Start your day with gratitude. It would emit it to
- 11:00Speaker 1: affect your attitude, which you will ultimately determine your altitude
- 11:06Speaker 1: once you get your tuted in the order. Tune it up, man, gratitude, attitude, altitude.

- 11:39Speaker 1: ministers you really didn't know. Yeah, I just got to
- 11:43Speaker 1: think of what other ministries you wouldn't be good at
- 11:46Speaker 1: to work in the church, So don't even ask you. Well,
- 11:49Speaker 1: it's like, you know, I wouldn't be a good assha,

- 12:29Speaker 1: in the Senior Citizen Quid. I don't want that hymn book.
- 12:32Speaker 1: I'm not saying them old slave cuts. I don't want
- 12:36Speaker 1: none of that. Yeah, I'm not doing nothing. I'm telling something.

- 13:02Speaker 1: little little pure at jumps. You don't do no jump. Yeah,

- 13:14Speaker 1: I wouldn't be a good member, and I do not
- 13:18Speaker 1: put me on the deacon board standing there collecting cash

- 13:24Speaker 1: you well, that's you know, little money, little blessings, all right,

- 21:27Speaker 1: a Tucson Right. I'm a single mother of a four
- 21:31Speaker 1: year old son, and I moved in with my fiance recently.
- 21:34Speaker 1: My son always slept in the bed with me because
- 21:37Speaker 1: I had a one bedroom apartment. My fiance thinks a
- 21:40Speaker 1: four year old should immediately learn to sleep alone in
- 21:42Speaker 1: a strange new environment. I hate to see him scared
- 21:45Speaker 1: at night. What should I do? Put it last in
- 21:49Speaker 1: that room like a man, say, and let him make
- 21:52Speaker 1: some adjustment. Strange And he fought, he's sleep, he fall,
- 21:59Speaker 1: He's not forty four, can't do what he needed to
- 22:05Speaker 1: do in the band. What you cause the foe? Ya,
- 22:09Speaker 1: that's the problem. Yes, you have to get your little
- 22:13Speaker 1: boy to adjust. It's not you gonna listen. If you
- 22:17Speaker 1: don't cut these apron strings, he gonna choke on him.
- 22:20Speaker 1: I'm just telling y'all, y'all stop doing these little boys.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Don't get mad or see the two mothers on the
- 22:31Speaker 1: show Squad. God gave y'all girls because he knew what
- 22:38Speaker 1: you'd have done to a boy. That is, the Lord
- 22:42Speaker 1: gave both of y'all the beautiful girls. So y'all can't
- 22:46Speaker 1: reck this little boy. Y'all trying to do to this
- 22:48Speaker 1: lazy little boy. He can't that baby. He he got
- 22:53Speaker 1: to learn to sleep by himself. Okay, let me ask
- 22:55Speaker 1: you a question. If you keep letting him sleep in
- 22:58Speaker 1: the bed, when do you make him go in there
- 23:00Speaker 1: by self? Tell me tell me maybe six? Yes, six?
- 23:06Speaker 1: Two yours down to kindergarten. You're in that falling instruction
- 23:11Speaker 1: and you in here sleeping in the bed. Man, get out? Six?
- 23:16Speaker 1: Peeing on me? Dog? Yeah, y'all, are y'all for real? Six? Yeah? Yeah?
- 23:24Speaker 1: Are you all kidding me? Five or five or four years? Five? Yeah? Yeah?
- 23:30Speaker 1: When ladies, ladies, listen to me, when do you make
- 23:36Speaker 1: him get out the bed? When are you gonna stop
- 23:39Speaker 1: being your baby. Five. We'll go with five, and you're
- 23:45Speaker 1: gonna make it harder for him because he's got another
- 23:48Speaker 1: year under his belt. It's a harder habit to be.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Next question, are you all right? Moving on to page
- 23:57Speaker 1: in AUGUSTA. When I was with my mom for a
- 24:02Speaker 1: long time, when I was a senior in college, my
- 24:06Speaker 1: mother got a credit card in my name, and I
- 24:08Speaker 1: just found out I've been denied a car loan because
- 24:11Speaker 1: of her twenty thousand dollars debt. I've arranged for a
- 24:14Speaker 1: settlement with the creditor, and I have access to my
- 24:17Speaker 1: mom savings account. Should I repay the debt with her
- 24:21Speaker 1: money and not mention it to her? No? Now, you
- 24:24Speaker 1: gotta mention it. You know, two roans ain't gonna maca
- 24:28Speaker 1: right now. She did get this credit card without mentioning
- 24:30Speaker 1: it to you? Yeah, and her in her name? Yeah,
- 24:35Speaker 1: so and backed up twenty If you do that, If
- 24:39Speaker 1: you do that, you know what's gonna happen. You know,
- 24:44Speaker 1: my mama, So, so you got she got a loan? Now? Right? Oh? No? Yeah?
- 24:53Speaker 1: Because yeah, she wants she has access to her mom's account,
- 24:59Speaker 1: so she wants to use money in her mom's savings
- 25:02Speaker 1: account or to pay it back, to pay first you first.
- 25:05Speaker 1: You need to get credit lock. That's what you need
- 25:08Speaker 1: to get first, because your mom or credit thief. Now
- 25:12Speaker 1: you got to get a LifeLock or whatever it's called
- 25:15Speaker 1: LifeLock because your mama's a credit Yeah, yeah, I can't
- 25:23Speaker 1: help you with that. I can't take my mama's money
- 25:25Speaker 1: because that's stealing. No, I can't do that. I just
- 25:29Speaker 1: have to work it out of my own yourself, all right.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Moving on to Sahara and Collinswood. Um, my next door
- 25:40Speaker 1: neighbor and I have gotten close over the last few months,
- 25:43Speaker 1: and I was so happy when she met a man
- 25:45Speaker 1: and they hit it off. My boyfriend noticed the guy
- 25:47Speaker 1: yesterday and said he's married and he knows his wife.
- 25:51Speaker 1: Should I assume my neighbor knows or should I tell
- 25:54Speaker 1: her just in case she doesn't know. No, you need
- 25:58Speaker 1: to stay out your business and your husband could be wrong.
- 26:02Speaker 1: What are you over there? Fall both of y'all y'all knows,
- 26:06Speaker 1: y'all nosy neighbors. What's happening over there? Ain't Neither one
- 26:08Speaker 1: of y'all business him or hurts well because they're close now,
- 26:12Speaker 1: she considers themselves friends well but if she already know
- 26:15Speaker 1: that the man is married what she probably does, then
- 26:19Speaker 1: it ain't your business. I don't understand. I what's the question, Sherley?
- 26:25Speaker 1: And you and you're trying to sit up in debate. No, no, Sherley. Wait,
- 26:32Speaker 1: I'm not debating anything. Wait, I think that you want
- 26:36Speaker 1: her to tell her? Well, that's what you think. I
- 26:40Speaker 1: would stay out of it. I definitely would stay out.
- 26:44Speaker 1: The question is should I my neighbor knows or should
- 26:47Speaker 1: I tell her just in case she doesn't know? Man,
- 26:52Speaker 1: your damn bear. Absolutely mind your business, thank you, Shirley,
- 26:56Speaker 1: because it is none of your eve. No, because I
- 27:00Speaker 1: got to help you sometime because you threw me, you
- 27:03Speaker 1: wouldn't say, oh, well, I'm still man about the baby
- 27:11Speaker 1: carried over into the and you didn't cross the fence.
- 27:16Speaker 1: What did you over that? Yeah? You don't think she
- 27:20Speaker 1: should tell him? Hell no, it ain't your business. What
- 27:27Speaker 1: that woman do? You just got close? She dating the man?
- 27:30Speaker 1: Now he married, but your husband could be wrong. Well,
- 27:36Speaker 1: her boyfriend said that he um, he knows the guy,
- 27:40Speaker 1: and he knows he's married, and he knows the guy's
- 27:42Speaker 1: wife as well. So so her boyfriend knows them. Okay, cool.
- 27:46Speaker 1: What he got to do with it? He just told her.
- 27:50Speaker 1: He didn't say he was going to tell. He just
- 27:52Speaker 1: let her know his girlfriend all he doing. You're mad
- 27:56Speaker 1: at everybody distracting from the fact that he playing the
- 28:00Speaker 1: boyfriend role. Now he over there and told on the
- 28:04Speaker 1: married dude, why don't you married a girl? We're back
- 28:08Speaker 1: to her, so now me on them, why don't you
- 28:12Speaker 1: married a girl? Because that's what you try to deflect. Now, Phill,
- 28:15Speaker 1: I know that hustle game she had married dude over that.
- 28:19Speaker 1: That's what they do when they get married. That's why
- 28:21Speaker 1: I'm waiting. You know some of that is in here.
- 28:25Speaker 1: Share okay, right quick? All right, Carlin and Indiana. I'm
- 28:33Speaker 1: a thirty one year old married man. I was on
- 28:34Speaker 1: a FaceTime call with my side chick. My wife walked
- 28:37Speaker 1: in and heard the female's voice. I hung up. My
- 28:40Speaker 1: wife wrestled me to get my phone. She got my phone.
- 28:42Speaker 1: She's kept it for a month. Should I go buy
- 28:44Speaker 1: a new phone? Or what it make matters worse than
- 28:47Speaker 1: they are. I think you need to leave your wife
- 28:49Speaker 1: long because if she can out wrestle you and take
- 28:51Speaker 1: your phone, lyning yourself for the ass with me, you

- 34:36Speaker 1: who is bishops and who's his players. That was That's
- 34:42Speaker 1: all I'm saying is when you have these functions like this,

- 36:36Speaker 1: gun trafficking. Wow, did you hear what Chris Rock says?
- 36:41Speaker 1: He said, if you're buying weapons like that, you need

- 36:50Speaker 1: that have just been caught recently have been living with
- 36:53Speaker 1: their parents and their grandparents. So now you need to
- 36:57Speaker 1: have a mortgage if you want to buy these guns. Yeah, so,
- 37:01Speaker 1: you know, which makes sense. He was, you know, it
- 37:03Speaker 1: was on his and he was making a joke out
- 37:06Speaker 1: of it, of course, but it makes sense, you know,
- 37:09Speaker 1: or should they go ahead? Go ahead? What are you
- 37:12Speaker 1: gonna say, Steve, I just don't. I don't. I don't.

- 37:23Speaker 1: they do things. I don't have faith in the system.
- 37:28Speaker 1: I don't. I don't think this law. I don't. I don't.
- 37:32Speaker 1: You know, they're putting together this bipartisan thing, but what's
- 37:36Speaker 1: it saying? What does this say? And you know, until
- 37:40Speaker 1: you get it across all states, man, we're still gonna
- 37:43Speaker 1: be dealing with this problem. Yeah, exactly, exactly. You know.
- 37:47Speaker 1: I don't know what to say. Man, I'm very disappointed. Yeah,
- 37:53Speaker 1: I mean, and that's the issue. We have to wait
- 37:55Speaker 1: and see. Um, we'll see if this bill makes it
- 37:58Speaker 1: to the Senate floor. We just want you to do
- 38:01Speaker 1: your part and vote. Um, please vote. If you have

- 38:46Speaker 1: in November. That's what this process is. You can't get
- 38:51Speaker 1: any elections you can. That's right, That's right. They're all important,
- 38:56Speaker 1: they all lead the you'll send the play, is it?

- 39:20Speaker 1: eight seven seven twenty nine Steve eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve,
- 39:24Speaker 1: Are you ready, Steve Harvey? Here we go. This caller
- 39:28Speaker 1: is from Detroit talking about assault rifles. Hey, Steve, this
- 39:33Speaker 1: is easy washing out of Detroit. I love everything you
- 39:35Speaker 1: say every morning. I think they're allowing the people to
- 39:38Speaker 1: keep those assault raffles so that they can cause a revolt.
- 39:42Speaker 1: If you think the thing that happened on January sixth
- 39:44Speaker 1: or something, I think America's doing do something really big
- 39:47Speaker 1: to take over the government. That's why they let them
- 39:49Speaker 1: keep those the fault raffles. And the last time I
- 39:51Speaker 1: want to say is I think that a lot of
- 39:54Speaker 1: black people are people in gerald get Trump to be
- 39:57Speaker 1: president so they can put a ball in a Tanner
- 39:59Speaker 1: cabin in the town place. So they wanted from disruption
- 40:04Speaker 1: intense on him. That's why a lot of people went
- 40:06Speaker 1: to the Trump job. Keep doing you do? Yeah? I
- 40:14Speaker 1: think that the people voted for Trump because they are
- 40:16Speaker 1: a lot like Trump. I think this country is filled
- 40:20Speaker 1: with Trumps, and that's why they vote for him. You
- 40:24Speaker 1: vote for the person of your choice, and you vote
- 40:28Speaker 1: for what they believe in or what they say. And
- 40:31Speaker 1: this country is filled with a lot of people that
- 40:33Speaker 1: think like Donald Trump. And then Donald Trump is also
- 40:37Speaker 1: smart enough to create himself as a power block to Now,
- 40:41Speaker 1: whether you like him or not, you have to do
- 40:45Speaker 1: his bidding because he understands what drives people in position
- 40:50Speaker 1: and power, power, position in money, and if he can
- 40:53Speaker 1: make those things critical to your existence and make you
- 40:58Speaker 1: understand that he can have something thats something to say
- 41:01Speaker 1: about your position, power, money, He controls them. It's it's,
- 41:05Speaker 1: it's it's. This is a sad state when no, I
- 41:09Speaker 1: can't say that. I can't say that. I just I
- 41:11Speaker 1: just self edited myself just because I knew the next
- 41:18Speaker 1: comment out my mouth was gonna be trouble. He could
- 41:25Speaker 1: have shut down. This is crazy. Go ahead, Shelby. This
- 41:32Speaker 1: callers from Boston. A Boston fan, Steve Harvey, This is
- 41:36Speaker 1: much from Smyler, Tonessee, and I just want to say,
- 41:40Speaker 1: I know you still mad at Boston from nineteen seventy,
- 41:44Speaker 1: but it is twenty twenty two and they kicked the
- 41:48Speaker 1: dude nation. Y'all have a good day. I'm looking forward
- 41:52Speaker 1: to hearing myself on the radio. I love y'all. Yeah
- 41:56Speaker 1: you're on the radio, and you all right. I'm still man.
- 41:59Speaker 1: When they feel the black kids bus over, that's I
- 42:02Speaker 1: ain't like Boston since now I like some people in Boston,
- 42:06Speaker 1: but the city of Boston, like City Hall, police department, whatever, yeah,
- 42:12Speaker 1: yeah whatever, you let it happen. You saw them turning
- 42:15Speaker 1: that bust over and you still your hands right up there. Now,
- 42:18Speaker 1: I ain't got nothing for Boston. I don't like the Patriots. Now.
- 42:22Speaker 1: I like Jason Tatum, and I like Brown, Jaylen Brown,
- 42:27Speaker 1: I like the coach, you know. I like Al Harford. Yeah,
- 42:33Speaker 1: that's my dude. I like all them cats. Now, I
- 42:36Speaker 1: don't care. I'm about the little light skilling boy with
- 42:38Speaker 1: the giant forehead with the headband. He got a headband
- 42:43Speaker 1: on and still got a bunch of forehead. Where's your
- 42:46Speaker 1: head band? Wristed people make big forehead people really mad?
- 42:51Speaker 1: Keep on here, look at him? All right, here's another color.
- 42:55Speaker 1: This one's from Saint Louis's name is Larry Steve Hey,
- 42:58Speaker 1: mister Steve Harvey, since Larry Wilke, Saint Louis, Missouri. I

- 43:05Speaker 1: probably know already, but even if you don't know, I
- 43:08Speaker 1: just want to tell you thank you. You know, God
- 43:11Speaker 1: is doing a lot through you and from your speaking
- 43:16Speaker 1: and just from your radio show, and it's helping me
- 43:20Speaker 1: out a lot. I just want to say again, thank you. Well, Lay,
- 43:26Speaker 1: I appreciate that man. Listen to me, Lan and everybody else,
- 43:29Speaker 1: keep your head completely up. God is in the recovery

- 43:41Speaker 1: make your dream come true business. But you can't quit though.
- 43:46Speaker 1: If you quit, all bets is off. You just got
- 43:49Speaker 1: to hang, man, and it might look real dog for you,
- 43:53Speaker 1: but just keep hanging because remember this, this too shall pass.
- 43:57Speaker 1: Oh amen, Amen, and again, all right, thank you guys
- 44:01Speaker 1: for you calls, your voicemails. Coming up next, it is

- 53:35Speaker 1: deep free a Shalleyber. We are friends. Thank you, Junior.
- 53:43Speaker 1: The rum shaker took my man is the subject. Dear
- 53:46Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley. My husband and I have been together fourteen
- 53:50Speaker 1: years and he's sixty and I'm fifty seven years old.
- 53:54Speaker 1: We don't have any children, so we do a lot
- 53:56Speaker 1: of activities together and we travel a lot. We're in
- 53:59Speaker 1: a vacation club and there's one other couple that we
- 54:02Speaker 1: enjoy meeting up with at different destinations. Mother's Day weekend,
- 54:06Speaker 1: we met the couple in Barcelona and we stayed in
- 54:09Speaker 1: a vacation rental. When we got there, we went straight
- 54:12Speaker 1: to the beach to relax. There was a black couple
- 54:15Speaker 1: at the beach bar, and my husband knew the guy,
- 54:18Speaker 1: so he invited the couple up to our house for dinner.
- 54:21Speaker 1: Me and my friend didn't want another couple in the
- 54:23Speaker 1: mix because the woman did not seem friendly. They came
- 54:28Speaker 1: and we had a great dinner by a private chef,
- 54:30Speaker 1: and we all sat outside after dinner. The other woman
- 54:34Speaker 1: could not sit still. She sashayed around and was very
- 54:38Speaker 1: expressive when she talked and kept touching on my husband.
- 54:43Speaker 1: My girlfriend and I were not feeling her, so we
- 54:46Speaker 1: went inside and left her with the men. I had
- 54:50Speaker 1: already heard my husband tell my girlfriend's husband that that
- 54:53Speaker 1: woman was built like a mustang. I let it slide
- 54:57Speaker 1: because she's got a big muscular butt and thigh, which
- 55:00Speaker 1: isn't my husband's type at all. I want to take
- 55:05Speaker 1: a shower and fell asleep unintentionally. My girlfriend woke me
- 55:08Speaker 1: up and told me to look outside. The woman had
- 55:12Speaker 1: put on a bikini and was in the hot tub
- 55:14Speaker 1: twerking and dropping it, and her husband was in a
- 55:17Speaker 1: chair asleep. My husband went over to her and grabbed
- 55:21Speaker 1: her from behind and started grinding on her. He was shocked,
- 55:26Speaker 1: as hecked. When I walked outside. He said he was
- 55:29Speaker 1: just having innocent fun with the rump shaker. He said
- 55:32Speaker 1: he'd never do anything stupid with me in the house.
- 55:35Speaker 1: Should I believe him or not? Well, what do you think?
- 55:40Speaker 1: Don't believe him? You saw it with your very own eyes.
- 55:44Speaker 1: What do you think grabbing her from behind and grinding
- 55:47Speaker 1: on her can lead to what do you think was
- 55:49Speaker 1: getting ready to happen? He should have gotten out the
- 55:51Speaker 1: hot tub a long time ago. Right, this is your husband,
- 55:56Speaker 1: She is married. She was in the hot tub twerking
- 55:59Speaker 1: and dropping it like it's hot in front of your husband.
- 56:03Speaker 1: There was nothing innocent about that at all. Your husband
- 56:06Speaker 1: grabbed her from behind and grinding on her. That was
- 56:10Speaker 1: not innocent. Okay, that's how having sex starts. Okay, that's
- 56:15Speaker 1: how it starts. She was wrong. He was most definitely
- 56:18Speaker 1: out of order. Who does this and their spouses are
- 56:22Speaker 1: right there. Her husband could have woken up at any time.
- 56:26Speaker 1: You could have gone out there at any given time
- 56:28Speaker 1: like you did. Why did you leave her out there anyway?
- 56:32Speaker 1: I didn't understand that. And you know your husband was
- 56:36Speaker 1: again out of order, saying she was built like a mustang,
- 56:40Speaker 1: and then you said that she wasn't your husband's type
- 56:43Speaker 1: at all. Well, now you know that's wrong as well.
- 56:47Speaker 1: I don't understand why you left her out there. You
- 56:50Speaker 1: didn't like her. You shouldn't have left her out there
- 56:52Speaker 1: with your man. I don't trust him. I don't trust her.
- 56:55Speaker 1: It's a good thing you went out there when you did,
- 56:57Speaker 1: because guess what, it was probably about to go down,
- 57:00Speaker 1: all right, it was probably about to go down. Should
- 57:03Speaker 1: you believe him or not? No, you should not believe him.
- 57:07Speaker 1: Surprised us all you're asking us? But no, all right, Steve,
- 57:10Speaker 1: it's on you, now go. The rum shaker took my man.
- 57:16Speaker 1: I didn't. I didn't see this in the letter at all.
- 57:19Speaker 1: I was thinking that someone left somebody in all this here.
- 57:25Speaker 1: I was a little bit surprised. So that lets me
- 57:27Speaker 1: know that this woman right here, fifty seven and sixty.
- 57:32Speaker 1: They don't normally write in two shows. They don't normally
- 57:36Speaker 1: have problems, and this was a bit of an extreme problem.
- 57:44Speaker 1: So the rum he's sixty, unfifty seven. Y'all ain't got
- 57:49Speaker 1: no kids. Y'all do a lot of activities. Y'all a
- 57:53Speaker 1: member of a vacation club, and you like this other
- 57:56Speaker 1: couple because y'all meet in different destination. Here's a problem.
- 58:01Speaker 1: Mother's Day weekend. We met the couple in Barcelona. We
- 58:04Speaker 1: stayed in the vacation rental. We got that we went
- 58:08Speaker 1: straight to the beach to relax. That was a black
- 58:16Speaker 1: couple at the beach ball and my husband knew the guy.
- 58:22Speaker 1: He knew the guy. I want you to pay close
- 58:25Speaker 1: attention to this because this I'm gonna show you how
- 58:27Speaker 1: this works. He knew the guy. Put the star next
- 58:33Speaker 1: to that. He invited the couple up to our house
- 58:37Speaker 1: for dinner. Me and my friend didn't want another couple
- 58:41Speaker 1: in the mix because the woman did not seem friendly. Well,
- 58:47Speaker 1: let's put that on the burn it too, because obviously
- 58:52Speaker 1: you've run about a lot of stuff. They came. We
- 58:56Speaker 1: had a great dinner by a private chef, and we
- 58:59Speaker 1: all set outside after dinner. So see it worked out.
- 59:04Speaker 1: The other woman could not sit steal though she sasha around.
- 59:08Speaker 1: It was very expressive when she talked as she kept
- 59:12Speaker 1: touching my husband. Let's marked that right there, sash in
- 59:19Speaker 1: a round touching. All right, hold it, Steve, Oh I'm
- 59:25Speaker 1: gonna hold I have all the notes, I have a conclusion. Okay,
- 59:28Speaker 1: we'll have part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 59:31Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter, subject
- 59:34Speaker 1: the rump Shaker took my man. We'll get back into
- 59:37Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening, all right, Come on, Steve,
- 59:43Speaker 1: let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject the rump Shaker,
- 59:46Speaker 1: I took my man. Well, first of all, let's start
- 59:50Speaker 1: with the subject is completely deceiving, because that's not what
- 59:53Speaker 1: happened in the letter, The rump shaker took my man.
- 59:58Speaker 1: He's sixty fifty seven. Y'all do a lot traveling together,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: y'all in the travel club. Y'all got this one couple
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: of y'all like to hang out with. So on Mother's
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: Day weekend, y'all went to Barcelona. After you travel to Barcelona,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: you got a house rental. You all went out on
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: the beach to relax. Now, y'all on the beach and relaxing,
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: and your husband, who is sixty spots a guy that
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: he knows. He knew the guy, and he invited the
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: couple up to the house for dinner. You and the
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: other woman did not want the woman up at the
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: house because she did not seem friendly. Oh, how wrong
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: you are. You're wrong? Now, remember he knew this guy.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: They came there at a great dinner by a private chef.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: Y'all set outside. The other woman couldn't sit still or
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: here we go. She saturated around and was very expressive
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: when she talked and kept touching on my husband. My
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: girlfriend and I were not feeling her, so we went
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: inside and left her with the men. Excuse me, I'm
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: a little confused, she says, her in a round touching
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: your husband. You and your girlfriend ain't feeling her, so
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: y'all go inside and leave her outside with your hus
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: That's stupid. I had already heard my husband tell my
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: girlfriend's husband that the woman was built like a mustang?
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: Who does that? Who says to another man, man, your
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: wife built like a mustang? Who does that? I'm gonna
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: tell you who does that? A guy that knows the guy.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: He know the guy. That's why he was comfortable to say, man,
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: your girl built like a mustang and didn't get knocked out.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: And he's sixty, he already no better man. But he
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: said he's built like a Mustang. Then she said, I
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: let it slide because she's got a big muscular button thighs,
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: which isn't my husband's type at all. Well then well
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: you're wrong about that. But let me ask you a question.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: She had a big muscular button thighs, which is in
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: my type of which lets me know you don't have
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: a big muscular button and you don't have strong st
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: That's what that lets me know, because if you did,
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: you know that was his type. But you live, miss
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: thin mint pepper and Patty, you're sitting up in here,
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: or you one of them girls Scout cookies, you know,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: mint thins. I don't know what you are, but you
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: obviously ain't the big, thick, muscular booty, strong thigh woman
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: that was with him. So I went to take a
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: shower and I fell asleep unintentionally. My girlfriend woke me
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: up and told me to look outside. This woman had
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: put on a bikini and was in the hot tub
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: twerking and dropping it, and her husband was in the
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: chair asleep. You don't, you don't, You don't see what's happening,
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: because this is clear to me. You really think he
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: over there in that chair sleep, You think he don't
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: know she didn't put this bikini on. You think he
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: don't know his wife in the hottel with another man.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: Are you kidding me. My husband went over to her
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: and grabbed her. She was this woman had put on Vikini,
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: was in the hot tel of twerking, dropping it hot,
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: and her husband's asleep. My husband went over to her
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: and grabbed her from behind and started grinding on her.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: He was shot this heck when I walked outside. Hell yeah,
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: he said he was just having innocent fun with the
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: rump shaker. He said he'd never do anything stupid with
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: me in the house. Should I believe him or not? Well,
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: listen to me. He don't think he would do anything
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: stupid with you in the house. Here's the problem. The
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: other couple are swingers. They're swingers. Your husband knows the
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: man and as a swinger. That's why he said she
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: built like a mustang. And he didn't knock him out.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: You don't meet no man, just me the man and
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: you know him overseas and see this woman she built
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: like a mustang. That didn't happen. Then he acts like
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: he's sleeping the chair. Put her in the hot tub
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: to do what she do. Get the other couple involved.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: She twerking in a hot tub. He goes and grabbled
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: from me. How he grinding them it's just innocent fun.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: Well we all know that ain't innocent. We do understand
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: that part. Shirley's absolutely correct about that, and that's gonna
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: lead to something else. Now was it gonna lead to
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: something that night? I doubted unless you were willing to participate.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: But you too square for this because this ain't what
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: you do. And because you don't want to be a
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: swinger don't mean you square. You should be square. I'm
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: square when it comes to that. You ain't swinging with mine. Dog. Now,
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: back in the day you steal what swinging. You swing
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: with me, but you wasn't swinging with man. That's difference.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: Thanks for the clarity. Clar you can swing with me, Okay, yeah,
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: we'll do. We had rules on this here thing, but
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: that's all. This is Dave swingers and she was out
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: there working even see what to what is gonna be
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: with all y'all because as soon as you have said
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: you was down with it, that's what that was gonna be,
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: all right? Thank you. Steve Poster comments on Today's Strawberry
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: Letter at Steve Harvey FM, on Instagram and Facebook. Up
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: me check out the Strawberry Letter podcast One to Man
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: Now coming up with forty six minutes after the hour,
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: it is Junior and Sports Talk. Right after this you're
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. It is time for
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: Junior and Sports Talk. What you got junior? Oh my gosh, Shirley,
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: come on for a minute, man was here? What is this? Here?
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: Is this experience coming through in these any championship finals? Oh,
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: Golden Scape? Pull it off? Four to ninety folk, Come on, man,
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: and he's Steph Curry O for nine from three. Who
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: the fuck it? Carol? He was off? He meant ever thunk,
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: thunk is what we do. We wanted to say something.
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: Elu gives us a leeway. Who the fuck it? I mean?
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: Who did you think about the game? Well, I mean,
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: you know, it was a lot of miss shots. You know.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: That's what frustrates me about today's game. It's such a
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: three point game that if they ain't making threes, day
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: ain't having success. When what's what's the matter with two?
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: You know? Man? I mean I was I watched very
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: rarely do I watch a cat get and one, you know,
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: go to the basket, get filed and one. I saw
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: that twice last night. Twice that I saw might have
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: dozed off and miss one. No, no, but I saw
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: Michael Brown get Jalen Brown get one, and I saw
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: uh Andrew Wiggins get one. But what happened to the
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: and one the aggressiveness to the rack. And that's the
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: frustrating thing for me watching this game. I don't like
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: watching big seven foot dudes shooting threes at thirty percent
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: and missing the same baseball, just basketball basketball, And so
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: you know, so you see all these guys missing all
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: these shots, man, you just go dub man, you could
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: if you come a little bit of fifteen foot or
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: what's wrong with that? Nothing? Don't nobody work for that.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: They worked for threes, man. So it was a good
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: game of blaying Golden State one. But these boys in Boston,
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: they're not gonna give up. They're not gonna give up.
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: Game six is gonna be Thursday night, man, I mean
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: game yeah, games is gonna be Thursday night in Boston too.
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: So you know that they're going back over here. But
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: you know what happened though, Junior, the what happened was
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: the role players for Golden State stepped up. They really
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: Draymond came back to life, Clay. So when Steph have
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: a game like that and the other players pick up that. See,
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: that makes for great. It's gonna be hard to beat
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: the Warriors. Because if you can't beat the Warriors with
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: Steph having that game, I don't see it. So he's
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: not going to do that again. I don't see him
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: doing that again. Man. I think he's really gonna be
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: highly upset about that game. Man old for nine. That's
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: his threes. He ain't hit none. I think gonna come back. Man,
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: it's gonna be crazy, because I'm gonna telling you right now,
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: Jason Tatum man truth. I gotta give it to him.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: That boy play man, Man, that boy to play. That's
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: all I know. That play. Yeah, but I ain't a
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: good looking see and that's why the Lord didn't give
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: me that basketball skill that hyphen his looks at twenty five,
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: That's why the Lord didn't do it for me. I'm
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: proud of you guys. Better and playball got some millions
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: twenty five who We'll be back with more of the
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening, all right, So, Junior,
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: it's summertime, and you have some important side peace rules
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: you gotta know and follow. Absolutely, Shirley, it's that time.
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: Of year. Yeah, and it's gonna happen. I'm gonna be
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: the voice of reason here. So yes, I see something
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: wrong with this rule. I'm gonna have to tighten you up. Okay,
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: that's final. But there ain't nothing wrong with these rule
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: because this is gonna happen. Here we go. First, Rule
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: number one, don't fall in love. Okay. See what that
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: means is fall in love with your side piece could
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: mess up the relationship. You just need to know what
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: this is. It's just six, that's all we do. It's
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: just man. Just sain't no boys to me and love
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: just ain't no. Brian McKnight, this is tupac How you
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: want it? What Steve? Yeah, that's where it's supposed to work.
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: But who could happen you talk about? Yeah? That is
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: it is in the beginning. O goodness, you can fall
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: fall hard as hell. Go ahead, you all right? Here
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: we go up. Number two. Being a side piece means
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: keeping your expectations in check. Okay, Yes, I'm going on
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: family vacation with my family, but I would only be
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: there when I'm not needed at the house. I mean,
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: don't don't worry about what we're going I'll be back
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: I can't be there every day. I can only be
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: there at the day that I'm not needed at the house.
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: And no, you cannot go on the family Okay. Rule
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: number three and this is important. You got to be undercover.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: That means you must communicate and meet up with me
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: without anyone else knowing. You need to act like you
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: in a spy movie. This James Byrne. We're doing Yes,
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: we're in spy move. I can't communicate that RYTHM. Don't
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: look at me since signals Okay, use your hands, since that.
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: I know what that means. I'll be in the back.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: I know it. I know what the back at. You
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: can't talk to me directly? Am I right around? That's
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: a very true statement listening to Okay, yeah, he go. No,
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: it's very important. You got to know the risks when
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: you're getting involved with me. Okay, this just isn't about
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: you and me. It's about you me and huh. Okay,
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: think about it. Everyone. When you make a move, you
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: have to know how do you have You have to
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: consider her too? Yes? Oh really yes? No, her work schedule, No,
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: what time she gets home, No, what time she called that?
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: When you know when not to say nothing. This is important.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: You have to know the Yes, it's crazy. Now, this
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: is a big one. And this is one y'all like
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: to do because when you see it, you confront and
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: all this stuff. But then what you need to understand.
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: I don't care who you talking to, even if it's
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: my whole mama. Okay, never talk and never admit to anything.
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: If there's some drama things about to get crazy, let
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: me handle it and let me do all the talking,
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: all the lying. Right, absolutely, go ahead. I'm in charging
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: for all lies. Leave it to the experts, right, Yeah,
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: and hear the last one, last one. This is very important.
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: That all up was very they are If we're gonna
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: make this work, calling, they all got to be important, okay,
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: and I mean this. No social media, lord, no, there
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: will be no selfish, There will be no don't take
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: picture of us just showing us holding hands. Don't take
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: no pictures of us our clothes, don't tag me and
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: none of the pictures, and definitely don't get in my
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: d ms. Nothing, no TikTok, no, no snapchat, no faithbook, twitter,
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: no nothing, no notes, no text, nothing, no so to
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: me nothing, This don't even exist. Yeah, okay, And don't
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: your rule for this side piece? Look up this morning up,
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: would you? Wow? Well I don't. I don't post nothing.
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: No damn way so he And if you did post,
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: I wouldn't know nothing about it. Thank you. Well, have

- 1:18:23Speaker 1: Guys coming up at forty nine minutes after. It's our
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: last break of the day, and we'll get some closing
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey right after this.
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: You're listening here. We are a last break of the
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: day on this Tuesday. And don't forget today is election
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: day in Maine, Nevada, South Carolina. Please get out and
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: vote today. We need you to vote. If you have
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: any questions, go to when we all vote dot org. Hey.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: You know I want to say something in closing today.
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: I want to encourage people who are facing challenges. I
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: want to talk to people who are thinking about giving up.
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: I want to talk to people who are going through
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: something and they feel as though they've gone through it
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: far too long. These are all feelings I've always had, man,
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: I felt like giving up before. I felt like the
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: thing that I was going through I was going through
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: far too long. You know, I just felt so challenged, man.
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: I felt at times, man, that I didn't have the
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: right answer. I was always wondering what should my next
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: move be. Those are things, man, that have troubled me
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: in my past life. Those are some of the challenges
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: that creep in every now and then. And now I
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: don't let them set in as much as I used to,
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: and I know how to hear them off at the past.
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: But I'm talking to that person today that has thought
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: about giving up, that's thinking about quitting, turning back the
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: person to think they're not gonna make it. I want
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: to share something with you. You've always made it. You've
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: always made it. And now listen to me when I
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: say you've always made it. I want you to hear
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: me clearly. You may not have made it the way
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: you want it to, and you may not have gotten
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: everything you want. Have you ever heard people say if
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: you want something bad enough, you will get it. That's
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: not true. That ain't true. Man. I'm sorry if I
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: gave you the list of things I want it thought
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: I want it, try to attain, but never got. It's astonishing,
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: so stop with it. If you want something bad enough,
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: it'll happen. No, it won't. It may not even be
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: the timing for it. That's what I really had to learn.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: A lot of things I wanted, it just wasn't in
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: the timing. But for those of you that are despondent,
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: here's the key man. Let's into me. When you ask
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: God for something, get out of the way of telling
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: him how to do it. He does not need your
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: help to get it done. All you have to do
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: is put in your request and have faith that it
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: will happen. Now, faith with our works is dead. I
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: understand that we're not talking about you going somewhere sitting down,
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: folding your hands and waiting on the job to walk
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: up to the You gotta keep putting in an application.
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: You gotta keep knocking on doors, but the blessing is coming.
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: But faith. You ask God for a new job, but
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: then you ain't putting in an application nowhere. What you
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: think the job gonna do just pop up on your
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: screen one day on your laptop of your computer. You
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: think this is not a magic show. You still have
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: to do some work. You still have to put applications,
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: and you still got an interview, you still got a zoom.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: You still gotta do all of that. But when you
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: ask God for something, stop telling God how to do it.
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: He don't need that from you. He needs your faith.
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: He needs your faith and your willingness to work. That's
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: how you get blessed faith and willingness to work. You
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: gotta do them two things. Man, Listen to me. You
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: have survived everything you've ever gone through, and like I said,
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: it may not have turned out the exact way you
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: wanted to, but you got through it though, didn't you.
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: What makes you think it won't be the same for
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: you again? And listen to me. Everything you're going through,
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: can I tell you something else? This too shall pass,
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: All of it will pass. Nothing stays the same. The
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: only thing that will remain the same to the end
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: of time is the Word of God. Everything else changes.
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: The hour of the day changes, the tide changes, the
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: ocean changes, cloud formation changes, the wind direction changes, the
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: temperature changes, the seasons changes, birds fly south, Hello, hello,
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: Sometimes the fish biting sometimes they ain't. Everything changes. You're
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: getting older. From the day you're born, You're heading to
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: your expliration date. Now we don't know when or how
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: that will be the majority of us, but we know
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: that's the deal. Everything changes. Can I tell you something again,
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: this too shall pass. All of this that you're feeling
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: will pass. Now here's the key. When God gets you
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: through something, do not keep revisiting it. Oh man, who
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: am I talking to right now? When God gets you
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: through something, stop revisiting it. You can't go forward and backwards.
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: At the same time, I got somebody that works for
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: me and they're going through something. Seems like a lot
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: to me, but they're always going through something. And every
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: time they get to the same point. They get to
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: the point where you say something that hurts their feelings
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: or you say something that they don't like, they go
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: back to the last time you did it, and they
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: go back to the last three times you did it,
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: and then they go back to what they father did.
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: Wait a minute, man, At one point in time, you
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: have to make the decision to move on. God got
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: you over the last time we fell out. God got
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: you pass what your father did. It is time to
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: move on. Now. That's not to say you don't need
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: therapy and all like this, but you got to be
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: willing if God move you pass stuff, you got to
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: quit revisiting it, y'all. You gotta stop doing that. It's
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: not healthy for you. I'm just trying to help you
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: move forward. Remember this, This too shall pass. Expect it
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: and look forward because it's gonna pass. Those are my
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: clothes remarks. Hey, y'all, listen, talk to God today. He
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: would absolutely love to hear from. For all Steve Harvey contests,
