- 0:01Speaker 1: New bombshell report is out saying this.
- 0:04Speaker 2: From CNN that cabinet secretaries are apparently asked to submit
- 0:10Speaker 2: questions ahead of pre scripted meetings with Joe Biden.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Why would CNN be breaking this news.
- 0:20Speaker 2: I'm going to make a prediction that there is a
- 0:22Speaker 2: real possibility now that the cabinet, at least some in
- 0:27Speaker 2: the cabinet may actually be looking at invoking the twenty
- 0:32Speaker 2: fifth Amendment. I'm going to play this for you from
- 0:36Speaker 2: CNN as they broke this news, which is rattling the
- 0:40Speaker 2: White House as we speak.
- 0:42Speaker 3: Get the White House perspective now with sentence MJ.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Lee. Who's there for is? MJ? You and your colleagues
- 0:48Speaker 1: have some reporting on the mood behind the scenes. What
- 0:51Speaker 1: are you hearing from your sources?
- 0:53Speaker 4: Well, boris, there's certainly been a lot of confusion and
- 0:57Speaker 4: anger and sadness inside the White House, across the administration,
- 1:01Speaker 4: the campaign, and across the Democratic Party more broadly since
- 1:05Speaker 4: the President's really halting and shocking debate performance. My colleagues
- 1:09Speaker 4: and I have spoken over the course of the last
- 1:12Speaker 4: two weeks to dozens of Democratic sources, including I should
- 1:16Speaker 4: note senior Democrats who have spent real time with the president,
- 1:20Speaker 4: and in some cases have known the.
- 1:22Speaker 1: President for years.
- 1:23Speaker 4: And what has been striking is that none of them
- 1:26Speaker 4: had ever seen this version of President Biden that we
- 1:29Speaker 4: all saw on the debate stage that was so faltering
- 1:33Speaker 4: and dazed, and plenty of officials that we spoke with said, look,
- 1:38Speaker 4: of course we've known that the president has aged. He
- 1:41Speaker 4: is certainly not the same person that we know from say,
- 1:44Speaker 4: a year ago. But what they had said, and that
- 1:49Speaker 4: was so noteworthy, is that they said they couldn't have
- 1:53Speaker 4: possibly known about the full extent of the president's decline.
- 1:57Speaker 4: And what many of them blame at this point is
- 2:00Speaker 4: this apparatus and daily operation that is built around the
- 2:03Speaker 4: president that is so painfully choreographed and stage vantage, they said,
- 2:08Speaker 4: that is designed to prevent the president from being oftened
- 2:12Speaker 4: out in these unscripted settings for an extended period of time.
- 2:17Speaker 4: And that really what that meant was that only a
- 2:20Speaker 4: small circle of inner circle of advisors and perhaps family
- 2:25Speaker 4: members could have known about sort of this full picture
- 2:28Speaker 4: of the president's condition. Just one example that is in
- 2:32Speaker 4: our story is that, according to two sources, before cabinet
- 2:37Speaker 4: meetings that the president attends, cabinet officials will submit their
- 2:42Speaker 4: questions and talking points, key talking points and bullet points
- 2:46Speaker 4: that they plan to present to the president in these
- 2:49Speaker 4: closed door meetings. This is how one source described it.
- 2:51Speaker 4: They said, the entire display is kind of an act.
- 2:55Speaker 4: They would come and say, hey, the President is going
- 2:57Speaker 4: to call on you about twenty five minutes in and
- 2:59Speaker 4: ask this question, what are the bullet points that you'll
- 3:02Speaker 4: respond with. Now, the White House's defense has been that
- 3:05Speaker 4: that is standard practice for any administration. They said, in
- 3:08Speaker 4: a setting like this, you never want the president to
- 3:11Speaker 4: be not aware of what is going to be discussed.
- 3:15Speaker 4: They want to also just be mindful of the president's time.
- 3:18Speaker 4: But we also spoke with sources from the Obama years
- 3:22Speaker 4: who said, in the cabinet meetings for former President Barack Obama,
- 3:26Speaker 4: those were never this meticulously scripted. Now, more broadly, in
- 3:31Speaker 4: response to our story and our reporting, the White House
- 3:34Speaker 4: really defended the breath of the president's travels, his engagements
- 3:38Speaker 4: with the press, and certainly his record over the last
- 3:41Speaker 4: three and a half years, and provided comments from senior
- 3:44Speaker 4: officials defending the president as being a sharp and engage
- 3:48Speaker 4: and White House spokesverson Andrew Bates also said this is
- 3:51Speaker 4: a part of his response, he said, Joe Biden has
- 3:54Speaker 4: always said that it is fair for reporters to ask
- 3:56Speaker 4: about his age, and has always confidently shown his value,
- 4:00Speaker 4: his agenda, intelligence, and determination to the American people. Well,
- 4:05Speaker 4: in just a few hours, we are of course about
- 4:07Speaker 4: to see that play out, the President taking questions from reporters,
- 4:10Speaker 4: and we certainly expect many of those questions will be
- 4:14Speaker 4: precisely about these issues.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Now.
- 4:16Speaker 2: By the way, this is the big boy press conference
- 4:19Speaker 2: right that they are talking about, which has already been moved.
- 4:21Speaker 2: He also was sitting down with Zelenski, and people thought, hey,
- 4:25Speaker 2: if you're trying to make it look like you're going
- 4:28Speaker 2: to answer questions, wouldn't you answer questions during the Zolensky
- 4:35Speaker 2: press conference. No, he said thank you, and that was
- 4:38Speaker 2: the end of it. No questions were able to be asked.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Let me go back through just some of the things
- 4:44Speaker 2: that we just learned in this report that I think
- 4:46Speaker 2: are so staggering. Number One, the cabinet secretaries are having
- 4:50Speaker 2: to submit questions and then they're given a timeline when
- 4:53Speaker 2: to be ready. I've got a lot more to say
- 4:55Speaker 2: about this in a moment, but I want to tell
- 4:57Speaker 2: you about my friends over at Patriot Mobile. For ten as,
- 5:00Speaker 2: Patriot Mobile has been America's only Christian conservative wireless provider.
- 5:04Speaker 1: And when I say only, I mean it.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Patriot Mobile is an incredible company that takes five percent
- 5:10Speaker 2: of your bill every month and they give it back
- 5:13Speaker 2: at no extra cost to you to conservative causes candidates
- 5:18Speaker 2: and organizations that support our first our Second Amendment rights,
- 5:22Speaker 2: religious freedom, the sanctity of life, and our military, our veterans,
- 5:28Speaker 2: and our first responders. Now you may hear that and say, well, Ben,
- 5:31Speaker 2: that's great, we love that, right, Yeah, why does that
- 5:34Speaker 2: matter so much? Well, if you're with Big Mobile, who
- 5:37Speaker 2: you're probably with right now, you've actually been giving massive
- 5:40Speaker 2: donations to Plan Parenthood radical causes candidates at the local, state,
- 5:48Speaker 2: and national level. You probably didn't even realize that your
- 5:52Speaker 2: money was going to places like Planned Parenthood, But now
- 5:55Speaker 2: you know. And the question is are you going to
- 5:57Speaker 2: stand up for what you believe in and stop giving
- 5:59Speaker 2: your money to candidate and to those organizations that you
- 6:03Speaker 2: cannot stand. Well, that's why I switch to Patriot Mobile.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Patriot Mobile is easy to switch now. It is easier
- 6:10Speaker 2: now than it's ever been. And when I say easy,
- 6:13Speaker 2: I'm not kidding when I say it is easy. It
- 6:16Speaker 2: is incredibly easy to make the switch right now to
- 6:19Speaker 2: Patriot Mobile. You can do it over the phone. All
- 6:23Speaker 2: you got to do is call them the number ninety
- 6:27Speaker 2: seven to two Patriot call them, use my name Ben.
- 6:30Speaker 2: You're gonna get free activation. Make the switch. You keep
- 6:34Speaker 2: your same cell phone, same cell phone number, and every
- 6:36Speaker 2: time you make a call, you, every time you send
- 6:39Speaker 2: a text, every time you pay your bill, you're standing
- 6:41Speaker 2: up for what you believe. In nine seven to two,
- 6:44Speaker 2: Patriot get free activation when you use the offer code
- 6:47Speaker 2: Ben or online at Patriotmobile dot com slash Ben. That's
- 6:51Speaker 2: Patriot Mobile dot com slash Ben. Now there's also at
- 6:55Speaker 2: the bottom of the screen. During this report on CNN,
- 6:57Speaker 2: it says angry and stun Democrats blame Biden's closest advisors
- 7:04Speaker 2: for shielding the public from full extent of President's decline.
- 7:09Speaker 2: That is the biggest load of crap ever. Everybody could
- 7:14Speaker 2: see this decline, Everyone could understand it. No one was
- 7:22Speaker 2: shielding It's the president from any of his quote decline.
- 7:27Speaker 2: The only thing that has changed is now it is
- 7:33Speaker 2: in their best interests to admit that there is a
- 7:38Speaker 2: cognitive decline. Because they want to get rid of Joe Biden.
- 7:42Speaker 2: That is literally the only difference. If you ever watched
- 7:47Speaker 2: the movie The Big Short, it was about the housing
- 7:51Speaker 2: crisis in the subprime lending.
- 7:53Speaker 1: It was in two thousand and eight. There's a moment
- 7:57Speaker 1: in that.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Movie where those those that were hedging their bets and
- 8:02Speaker 2: saw this burst coming and were buying the shorting that
- 8:07Speaker 2: the housing market, they couldn't believe that as delinquencies and
- 8:11Speaker 2: defaults were going up, their positions were not being marked accordingly,
- 8:17Speaker 2: and so they had bought these positions and the banks
- 8:20Speaker 2: were saying, hey, you got to pay us your premiums,
- 8:22Speaker 2: and they're like, how is it possible that my position
- 8:25Speaker 2: hasn't changed right when when clearly there's a massive problem
- 8:30Speaker 2: happening right before our very eyes. Well, what was happening
- 8:35Speaker 2: was is the banks were trying to get ahead of it.
- 8:38Speaker 2: They knew there was a problem, and they were offloading
- 8:41Speaker 2: their assets that they knew were terrible, that were garbage
- 8:45Speaker 2: to then be able to hedge themselves from their massive losses.
- 8:50Speaker 1: And there's a moment in there with one of.
- 8:52Speaker 2: The characters, a guy that's a doctor that was brilliant
- 8:55Speaker 2: that saw the bubble really in many ways before anyone else.
- 8:59Speaker 1: He said, the phone rings and it rings.
- 9:02Speaker 2: And it's one of the people that he had bought
- 9:05Speaker 2: these options from right when he was shorting the housing market.
- 9:10Speaker 2: And finally they called him back and they're like, hey,
- 9:13Speaker 2: now we can work with you on your position. He said, no,
- 9:16Speaker 2: I think what you guys are doing is you figured
- 9:19Speaker 2: out how to unload what you need to unload to
- 9:21Speaker 2: save yourself, and now you are going to adequately assess
- 9:28Speaker 2: my position.
- 9:29Speaker 1: It was fraud.
- 9:31Speaker 2: If you ever watch that movie, The Big Short, and
- 9:33Speaker 2: if you haven't, go back and watched that moment, that
- 9:35Speaker 2: is no different than what we're seeing for the Democratic
- 9:37Speaker 2: Party in the media right now. They know there's a problem.
- 9:41Speaker 2: They knew there was a problem. They were covering up
- 9:43Speaker 2: the problem because they didn't think it was going to
- 9:45Speaker 2: be a problem to after the election. Now we had
- 9:47Speaker 2: the press car or now we had the debate. Now
- 9:49Speaker 2: the problem is here, and they're having to figure out
- 9:51Speaker 2: how do we offload the president of the United States
- 9:54Speaker 2: of America because now we are caught with our pants
- 9:58Speaker 2: down and we're afraid we're about to lose. And so
- 10:01Speaker 2: now they're all reacting that no, one is acting. I
- 10:05Speaker 2: want to be very very clear here. No one is
- 10:07Speaker 2: acting here in an honest way. Okay, none of them are.
- 10:12Speaker 2: And when you have a cabinet secretaries that are forced
- 10:15Speaker 2: us to make questions ahead of prescripted meetings with the
- 10:17Speaker 2: President of the United States of America, that tells you
- 10:21Speaker 2: that they know that there has been a problem for
- 10:24Speaker 2: a long time.
- 10:25Speaker 1: This has been going on for years.
- 10:28Speaker 2: And Democrat centers meeting with Biden campaign staff as pressure
- 10:31Speaker 2: builds on the president to quote exit the race was
- 10:34Speaker 2: another headline today I saw again this goes back to
- 10:38Speaker 2: you guys just finally got caught being corrupt as hell,
- 10:43Speaker 2: the idea that you're angry and stunned, right, and Democrats
- 10:46Speaker 2: are blaming Biden's close advisors for shielding him from the public,
- 10:50Speaker 2: from shielding them from the full extent of the president's decline.
- 10:54Speaker 2: You guys all knew this was your guy. You've known
- 10:56Speaker 2: it for years. You knew there was a problem for years.
- 10:59Speaker 2: The only reason why now you're outraged is because you've
- 11:03Speaker 2: got to force him out of the race, because you
- 11:05Speaker 2: are afraid you're going to lose. I keep saying it
- 11:08Speaker 2: over and over again, because I want you to understand.
- 11:11Speaker 2: None of these people have been acting responsibly. They are
- 11:13Speaker 2: all scumbags. Every person in the media that's now acting
- 11:17Speaker 2: like they're shocked at the decline of Joe Biden's a scumbag.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Every elected official that's a Democrat that's now acting like, oh,
- 11:23Speaker 2: the president's got to you know, get out of this race.
- 11:25Speaker 1: It's only because they're going to lose power.
- 11:27Speaker 2: George Clooney, by the way, scumbag as well.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Oh I love the President, but he's got to go.
- 11:33Speaker 1: You just had a fundraiser for him. He was in
- 11:35Speaker 1: decline when you did the fundraiser. Why didn't you sound
- 11:38Speaker 1: the alarm then?
- 11:39Speaker 2: Because you're a scumbag that thought you could keep power
- 11:42Speaker 2: through Biden. Now you think you can't, and now you're
- 11:46Speaker 2: pulling the rug out from under his entire administration.
- 11:49Speaker 1: These people are scumbags.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Now there's a bombshell story that is even bigger than
- 11:56Speaker 2: the one that I just told you about. That's part
- 11:59Speaker 2: two of this insanity happening right now. There is a
- 12:03Speaker 2: new report out that says that the Biden campaign has
- 12:08Speaker 2: commissioned a Trump Versus Harris poll Kamala Harris to see
- 12:15Speaker 2: if she would be better than Joe Biden. Now, this
- 12:19Speaker 2: is not somebody outside the campaign, right, It's not like
- 12:22Speaker 2: the Democratic Party did this.
- 12:24Speaker 1: It's not like some leftist group did this.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Or No, we're now being told the reporting is that
- 12:28Speaker 2: the Biden Harris campaign has reportedly commissioned an internal poll
- 12:34Speaker 2: to gauge how Vien's president Kamala Harris would perform as
- 12:37Speaker 2: the top nominee versus Donald Trump.
- 12:40Speaker 1: Now, who is exposing this move?
- 12:42Speaker 2: And by the way, this was a dumb move by
- 12:43Speaker 2: the campaign, unless there's people in the campaign that are
- 12:48Speaker 2: throwing Joe Biden overboard because they're afraid they're going to
- 12:51Speaker 2: lose their power. And I would expect that to be
- 12:54Speaker 2: the case, because there are also a bunch of scumbags.
- 12:57Speaker 2: And I have no doubt that this was purposely leaked
- 13:00Speaker 2: to the media to yet again put even more pressure
- 13:03Speaker 2: on Joe Biden to drop out of the race. His
- 13:05Speaker 2: own staff is turning on him, his own campaign is
- 13:09Speaker 2: turning on him.
- 13:10Speaker 1: This is either the dumbest thing I've ever seen in.
- 13:13Speaker 2: My life by any campaign to do this, or they
- 13:18Speaker 2: did it on purpose, and that's exactly what I think
- 13:20Speaker 2: they did.
- 13:21Speaker 1: I don't think they're this dumb.
- 13:23Speaker 2: I think they did it and wanted to leak it,
- 13:25Speaker 2: and there's why it ended up in the New York Times.
- 13:29Speaker 2: The New York Times reporting at this hour on this development,
- 13:32Speaker 2: citing three anonymous sources who are informed about it, quote unquote,
- 13:38Speaker 2: the report comes as musings on the left about replacing
- 13:41Speaker 2: Joe Biden at the top of the ticket continued to
- 13:44Speaker 2: grow in the aftermath of his disastrous debate performance. When
- 13:48Speaker 2: sent the shockwaves through the entire Democratic Party. Quote, they
- 13:53Speaker 2: did not specify why the survey was being conducted or
- 13:57Speaker 2: what the campaign planned to do with the results. Well,
- 13:59Speaker 2: we all know exactly, okay, what they're doing with this survey.
- 14:04Speaker 2: They're trying to see if Kamwa Harris can save the
- 14:06Speaker 2: day and if she's any better than Joe Biden is
- 14:09Speaker 2: right now that according to The New York Times, Maggie Haberman,
- 14:14Speaker 2: as well as Shane Goldmatcher and Read Epstein, all of
- 14:20Speaker 2: these people who note this appears to be the first
- 14:24Speaker 2: Trump versus Harris poll commissioned by the campaign since the debate.
- 14:29Speaker 2: So again, these people in the campaign, they feel like
- 14:32Speaker 2: they're going to lose their jobs. They don't want to
- 14:34Speaker 2: lose their jobs. They don't want to lose their power.
- 14:37Speaker 2: And so if that means getting rid of Joe Biden
- 14:39Speaker 2: and undermining him while you're supposed to be working and
- 14:41Speaker 2: serving him as a campaign player, they don't care, because
- 14:46Speaker 2: they only care about themselves.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Now. It is unclear what.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Outfit is conducting the survey for the campaign now, they
- 14:56Speaker 2: don't even have the results yet, and they're leaking this.
- 14:59Speaker 1: That's how plain this was.
- 15:01Speaker 2: The Times further noted the campaign manager and campaign chair
- 15:06Speaker 2: Dylan worked to reassure staff in an internal memo that
- 15:10Speaker 2: Biden remains the most viable candidate and that he has
- 15:14Speaker 2: a path to victory. Well, clearly they don't believe that,
- 15:18Speaker 2: because if you did believe that, you wouldn't be doing this,
- 15:20Speaker 2: damn pole. In addition to what we believe is a
- 15:24Speaker 2: clear pathway ahead for us, the memo reads, there is
- 15:27Speaker 2: also no indication that anyone else would outperform the president
- 15:31Speaker 2: versus Trump. Hypothetical pulling of alternative nominees will always be unreliable,
- 15:38Speaker 2: and surveys do not take into account the negative media
- 15:41Speaker 2: environment that any Democratic nominee will encounter. The only Democratic
- 15:46Speaker 2: candidate with whom this is already baked in is President Biden.
- 15:51Speaker 2: That is what the campaign said in their official cover
- 15:54Speaker 2: your Abs email to the staff, while they're clearly saying,
- 15:58Speaker 2: we got to figure out a way to get rid
- 15:59Speaker 2: of JR. Biden, even if it means we're stuck with
- 16:02Speaker 2: Kamway Harris, if Kamala Harris is better in the polling. Notably,
- 16:07Speaker 2: a poll from the reputable Emerson College Polling published on
- 16:11Speaker 2: Tuesday showed Trump with an even bigger lead over Harris
- 16:15Speaker 2: than he has over Biden. It found that Trump led
- 16:18Speaker 2: Biden by three and Harris by six nationally and hypothetical
- 16:22Speaker 2: two ray Way races. News of the internal Harris versus
- 16:27Speaker 2: Trump poll on Thursday coincided with a report from the
- 16:30Speaker 2: Times that some of Biden's closest allies are well figuring
- 16:35Speaker 2: out a strategy to quote convince Joe to end his candidacy. Additionally,
- 16:42Speaker 2: NBC News detailed that several sources in Biden's orbit say
- 16:48Speaker 2: his bid for the White House is quote a lost cause.
- 16:52Speaker 1: He needs to drop out.
- 16:53Speaker 2: One Biden campaign official told NBC News he will never
- 16:58Speaker 2: recover from this. Referring to the debate, I think there's
- 17:03Speaker 2: two takeaways from this. Number One, his own campaign is
- 17:09Speaker 2: turning on him. That's pretty bad. Number two, I think
- 17:15Speaker 2: the cabinet is now leaking because they don't want to
- 17:18Speaker 2: lose their power. And if you're a cabinet secretary, you
- 17:20Speaker 2: don't want to go out as a loser, and so
- 17:23Speaker 2: you would rather maybe even put out there the real
- 17:26Speaker 2: possibility of enacting the twenty fifth Amendment. Now, the twenty
- 17:31Speaker 2: fifth Amendment is a big deal, but if you're a
- 17:33Speaker 2: Democrat and you don't care about democracy, if you're a
- 17:37Speaker 2: Democrat and you don't care about the Constitution, because they're
- 17:40Speaker 2: not even Democrats anymore. This goes back to what I've
- 17:42Speaker 2: been saying for a very long time. The Democratic Party
- 17:45Speaker 2: is dead. They're masquerading as Democrats because they think that's
- 17:48Speaker 2: palatable enough for the American people. They are really socialists, Marxists,
- 17:54Speaker 2: and communists.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Okay, that's who they are.
- 17:57Speaker 2: They're socialists, Marxists, and their communists.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Period.
- 18:05Speaker 2: They would absolutely overthrow Joe Biden if it means they
- 18:10Speaker 2: think they can save themselves and be in power. They
- 18:15Speaker 2: don't care about people. They don't care about who the
- 18:21Speaker 2: people choose an election. We saw that with what they
- 18:23Speaker 2: try to do, getting rid multiple times, trying to get
- 18:26Speaker 2: rid of Donald Trump, They don't care if the people
- 18:30Speaker 2: make a decision that they wanted Joe Biden. They don't
- 18:33Speaker 2: care if they choose someone that no one has voted for.
- 18:37Speaker 2: They don't care anything about this country when it comes
- 18:42Speaker 2: to freedom, or democracy or the rule of law. They
- 18:48Speaker 2: have weaponized our government to go after Donald Trump and
- 18:51Speaker 2: try to take his assets and lock him up. Okay,
- 18:54Speaker 2: so we know that. I want to be very very
- 18:56Speaker 2: very clear. These people do not care whose lives they ruin.
- 19:02Speaker 2: That includes Joe Biden. I wouldn't be surprised if we
- 19:05Speaker 2: start seeing some more leaks about the Biden crime family,
- 19:08Speaker 2: which they've defended forever. I think that's where they're going
- 19:11Speaker 2: to start hitting the Bidens next, if the Bidens don't
- 19:14Speaker 2: act now.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Let me also explain.
- 19:16Speaker 2: That there is a lot of leverage that Katamala Harris
- 19:19Speaker 2: has right now.
- 19:21Speaker 1: And I want you to understand this.
- 19:23Speaker 2: If the Cabinet can get around Harris, if the campaign
- 19:28Speaker 2: can get around Harris, Harris can then go to the President.
- 19:34Speaker 1: And I'm not sure he's the one making the decisions.
- 19:36Speaker 2: So let's just say she goes to Joe Biden and
- 19:39Speaker 2: Hunter Biden and James Biden says, look, guys. You guys,
- 19:43Speaker 2: convent your dad to drop out, and I'll give you,
- 19:47Speaker 2: guys whatever pardons you need. Moving forward, I'll make sure
- 19:52Speaker 2: that all of this, these investigations, to the best of
- 19:56Speaker 2: my ability, disappear, or will hurry up and speed up
- 20:00Speaker 2: the investigations and get the convictions, and then I'll pardon
- 20:03Speaker 2: all of you. I think that is the leverage that
- 20:08Speaker 2: Kamala Harris has that no other candidate has.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Right now.
- 20:12Speaker 2: Kamala Harris can keep the same campaign staff. She's the
- 20:16Speaker 2: only one that can keep all the money that's been raised.
- 20:19Speaker 2: She's the easiest person to replace the president because people
- 20:23Speaker 2: did actually vote for her right as the vice president.
- 20:27Speaker 2: Joe Biden could then come out with his family and say,
- 20:30Speaker 2: you know, unfortunately I'm incapacitated, or I'm getting too old,
- 20:33Speaker 2: or it's just too tough, and I realized for the
- 20:35Speaker 2: good of the country that my vice president, who I
- 20:38Speaker 2: chose four years ago for this exact reason, is going
- 20:40Speaker 2: to step in. I'm going to campaign for her, and
- 20:44Speaker 2: we're going to win the White House. I can write
- 20:47Speaker 2: this speech and make it look perfect. I think all
- 20:51Speaker 2: of those are these options that I just mentioned are
- 20:55Speaker 2: genuinely on the table, Gretchen Whitmer were coming to the
- 21:01Speaker 2: aid of Joe Biden trying to save his candidacy. Biden
- 21:08Speaker 2: in it to win it, and I'm damn proud to
- 21:11Speaker 2: support him, quote unquote. That is the big support he's
- 21:16Speaker 2: getting from Witmer. The question is will it be enough
- 21:19Speaker 2: to actually make people stop talking about what's happened in
- 21:24Speaker 2: this campaign. That's the question that I don't believe. Gretchen
- 21:28Speaker 2: Whitmer saying it is gonna have that, mapect, I really don't.
- 21:34Speaker 2: Others may disagree. Stephen Colbert saying this about the President
- 21:40Speaker 2: last night as he was doing his opening monologue, Take
- 21:44Speaker 2: a listen.
- 21:45Speaker 1: Are conflicted.
- 21:46Speaker 3: We got a clear message today from our nation's most
- 21:49Speaker 3: powerful Democratic leader, George Clooney. George wrote a New York
- 21:55Speaker 3: Times op ed titled I love Joe Biden, but we
- 21:59Speaker 3: need a new nomine adding we also need a money guy,
- 22:02Speaker 3: a safecracker, an acrobat.
- 22:03Speaker 1: And Brad Pitts.
- 22:06Speaker 3: It's the plot of Ocean's twenty four Amle's busy with
- 22:10Speaker 3: human rights stuff and I got bored.
- 22:14Speaker 1: I watched that. I love the audience reaction there.
- 22:19Speaker 2: It does tell you about how unseerious the Democratic party
- 22:24Speaker 2: is and I mean this when George Clooney is like
- 22:28Speaker 2: the new voice of the Democratic Party, you gotta kind
- 22:33Speaker 2: of laugh a little bit and sit there and you're like, really,
- 22:37Speaker 2: this is it.
- 22:38Speaker 1: Stephen Colbert also uh.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Asking this question when talking about the to the audience
- 22:47Speaker 2: about the presidency. Listen carefully, what do you mean You're
- 22:53Speaker 2: not on the same page even in the same book.
- 22:57Speaker 1: Wow, that's pretty rough.
- 22:59Speaker 3: Well, could I recommend a new book? Oh the Places
- 23:03Speaker 3: for Joe? Is he mentally fit? Can he serve a
- 23:15Speaker 3: whole term? Can he beat RFK with his brain full
- 23:18Speaker 3: of worm?
- 23:20Speaker 1: Just ask him? Just ask him.
- 23:22Speaker 3: The man loves to talk as long as you ask
- 23:24Speaker 3: him before eight o'clock.
- 23:29Speaker 1: They are all in to get rid of Joe Biden.
- 23:33Speaker 2: You noticed that it was the greasy bucket of chicken guy,
- 23:39Speaker 2: Steve Cohen, who they asked that question of.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Just ask him, Just ask him.
- 23:43Speaker 2: The man makes The man loves to talk as long
- 23:46Speaker 2: as you ask him before eight o'clock. Can he serve
- 23:50Speaker 2: a whole term? You've got Late Night, you got George Clinting,
- 23:56Speaker 2: You've got others that are just coming out one after
- 24:00Speaker 2: another making it clear they they just aren't gonna stand
- 24:10Speaker 2: by and expect to lose. On election night, they're gonna
- 24:14Speaker 2: get rid of Joe Biden. By the way, the Daily Show,
- 24:18Speaker 2: half of The Daily Show's focus group of black New
- 24:21Speaker 2: York voters say they will vote for Donald Trump. And
- 24:25Speaker 2: even on that show, The Daily Show, they said they
- 24:28Speaker 2: didn't quote see that coming.
- 24:31Speaker 5: Okay, So who will you be voting for in twenty
- 24:34Speaker 5: twenty four?
- 24:35Speaker 1: There?
- 24:36Speaker 6: Do I have to see his name?
- 24:37Speaker 7: I don't want to, but more thunlikely it's gonna be Trump.
- 24:40Speaker 8: Yeah, and then Victor Oh Biden Okay, Trump, Trump's Biden
- 24:49Speaker 8: Biden Trump.
- 24:50Speaker 5: Okay, we're an even split, which I didn't Yeah, I
- 24:56Speaker 5: didn't see that coming. So do you think there's going
- 25:00Speaker 5: to be a big shift, any sword changed.
- 25:01Speaker 7: I think it's going to be a big shift me too, shift, Yes,
- 25:04Speaker 7: really okay? For me, I've always been a Democrat, and
- 25:08Speaker 7: it's like, for the most part, with the Democratic Party,
- 25:12Speaker 7: they always make a bunch of promises that they can't deliver.
- 25:16Speaker 6: You know, they use the issues of the African American
- 25:19Speaker 6: community as a soapbox to stand on and make promises,
- 25:23Speaker 6: you know, just to get us to come out and vote,
- 25:25Speaker 6: and then once we vote and everyone's in place.
- 25:28Speaker 1: It's like with what happened?
- 25:31Speaker 2: That is a panel of all African American voters in
- 25:35Speaker 2: New York City saying this.
- 25:40Speaker 1: On the Daily Show.
- 25:42Speaker 2: And you could see it on the Daily Show, and
- 25:46Speaker 2: you could see the moment where the host is like,
- 25:50Speaker 2: holy crap, half of you guys are going to vote
- 25:53Speaker 2: for Trump. Gretchen Whitmer, by the way, who on the
- 26:00Speaker 2: Stephen Colbert Show last night and wanted to, you know,
- 26:06Speaker 2: say how much she loves Joe Biden and supports Joe Biden,
- 26:09Speaker 2: and Joe Biden's the nominee to try to be a
- 26:11Speaker 2: good sarrogate for Joe Biden.
- 26:14Speaker 1: It didn't go well for her either.
- 26:16Speaker 2: Why because well then she said she kind of didn't
- 26:20Speaker 2: watch the debate.
- 26:24Speaker 3: Nice to have you on, first time I've had a
- 26:27Speaker 3: chance to talk to you. Obviously, been following your career
- 26:29Speaker 3: for many years now, and for the people who don't know,
- 26:33Speaker 3: you're a national co chair of the Biden campaign. And
- 26:38Speaker 3: the debate is still what you know, everybody is talking about.
- 26:42Speaker 1: What debate? Did you not get a chance to catch it?
- 26:46Speaker 1: Did you watch the debate? I've seen clips of the debate?
- 26:50Speaker 1: You didn't watch the debate.
- 26:52Speaker 8: I was actually out on the West coast with a
- 26:54Speaker 8: couple of my colleagues.
- 26:56Speaker 1: And they don't have fun out there.
- 26:57Speaker 3: Got they don't have television in California.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, exactly true. What was what was your reaction?
- 27:03Speaker 3: Did you were you just like, you know what, stay
- 27:04Speaker 3: of the course doesn't matter?
- 27:05Speaker 1: Full speed ahead, Joe? Or did you give you pause
- 27:08Speaker 1: at all?
- 27:08Speaker 6: I like your time?
- 27:24Speaker 1: I did know.
- 27:25Speaker 3: That's how it's gonna be okay. After the debate, forty
- 27:29Speaker 3: Democrats worry about the president's cognitive abilities? Should the Democrats
- 27:33Speaker 3: consider someone else? Which is not a crazy question. I
- 27:36Speaker 3: mean even George Clooney today name checked you in his
- 27:41Speaker 3: editorial in the New York Times that you would be
- 27:44Speaker 3: an excellent option. It's got to be a little flattering,
- 27:47Speaker 3: right He named checked me and a handful of other folks.
- 27:50Speaker 1: And the good news is they're not here tonight, that's right.
- 27:54Speaker 4: So who cares about that?
- 27:55Speaker 1: Exactly No? You know, I think that the.
- 27:58Speaker 4: Debate rattled a lot of people, right, it was a
- 28:00Speaker 4: lousy performance.
- 28:01Speaker 2: I don't think anyone's I mean, did you notice the
- 28:05Speaker 2: Dodgs there? Did you get a chance to watch it?
- 28:09Speaker 2: Did you watch the debate? I've seen the clips of
- 28:11Speaker 2: the debate. You didn't watch the debate, Whitmer. I was
- 28:15Speaker 2: actually out on the West Coast with a couple of
- 28:16Speaker 2: my colleagues, and they don't have TVs out there. Colbert
- 28:20Speaker 2: went on to say, I forgot they don't have television
- 28:23Speaker 2: in California. I have no doubt that Gretchen Whitmore has
- 28:28Speaker 2: seen the damn debate. And for her to sit there
- 28:32Speaker 2: and to say I support Joe Biden while saying and
- 28:36Speaker 2: claiming she didn't see the debate somehow making it seem
- 28:39Speaker 2: like she's smarter is insane.
- 28:43Speaker 1: It is absolutely insane.
- 28:46Speaker 2: Stephen Colbert spent five minutes in seventeen seconds of his
- 28:51Speaker 2: show last night warning the Democrats about Project twenty twenty
- 28:57Speaker 2: five is a radical, far right takeover of everything in
- 29:00Speaker 2: the US government. Now, let me explain to you what
- 29:04Speaker 2: I know about Project twenty twenty five. It was funny
- 29:06Speaker 2: because two days ago my phone started ringing, and it
- 29:09Speaker 2: was a lot of liberal shows, like Chris Cuomo's show,
- 29:12Speaker 2: for example, and they were like, will you come on
- 29:15Speaker 2: and talk about Project twenty twenty five? And I'm like, yeah,
- 29:17Speaker 2: I'm more than happy to. I can do that because
- 29:23Speaker 2: I don't think it's anything that we should be freaking
- 29:25Speaker 2: out over. I think it's not a big deal at all,
- 29:30Speaker 2: and Project twenty twenty five is not something that I
- 29:33Speaker 2: am concerned over. Let me explain to you the best
- 29:37Speaker 2: way I can explain Project twenty twenty five so you
- 29:41Speaker 2: understand what is fact compared to what is conspiracy theory.
- 29:47Speaker 1: Heritage Foundation.
- 29:48Speaker 2: I actually worked in that building when I worked for
- 29:50Speaker 2: town Hall. It was amazing, loved loved my time there.
- 29:56Speaker 2: Heritage Foundation is a hardcore conservative organization that for years
- 30:01Speaker 2: has been trying to push for principal conservative values on
- 30:05Speaker 2: Capitol Hill and also hold conservatives accountable and responsible when
- 30:12Speaker 2: they are elected to stay true and not sell out.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Heritage Foundation has done amazing job also of mentoring and
- 30:21Speaker 2: growing conservatives, finding conservatives that they support that then run
- 30:25Speaker 2: for office that they can stand behind and support. It's
- 30:29Speaker 2: actually pretty simple. Heritage Foundation did one of the coolest
- 30:34Speaker 2: things ever. This may have been twenty years ago now,
- 30:38Speaker 2: and it was the Heritage Guide to the Constitution, where
- 30:41Speaker 2: they had constitutional scholars go through the Constitution and then
- 30:44Speaker 2: explain the Constitution in layman's terms. It is maybe one
- 30:49Speaker 2: of the most powerful reads I've ever read in my
- 30:53Speaker 2: entire life, excluding the Bible, because it's a way to
- 30:58Speaker 2: understand the Constitution and understand what our founding father's intent
- 31:03Speaker 2: was when writing the Constitution and what it means.
- 31:07Speaker 1: You can still.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Get copies of the Heritage Guide to the Constitution. It's
- 31:10Speaker 2: on you can grab him, i think on Amazon or online.
- 31:13Speaker 2: You can buy him on eBay, like, there's still very
- 31:16Speaker 2: much out there, all right, So let's.
- 31:18Speaker 1: Start with that.
- 31:21Speaker 2: The Heritage Foundation understood that what hurt Trump's last election
- 31:30Speaker 2: cycle was is that Donald Trump was actually not ready
- 31:35Speaker 2: with a deep enough staff, a deep enough plan to
- 31:41Speaker 2: make a significant difference in Washington, and he was undermined. Now,
- 31:47Speaker 2: when I say that he was undermined, let me excuse
- 31:50Speaker 2: me expand on that.
- 31:53Speaker 1: Donald Trump came in.
- 31:56Speaker 2: And there's a lot of career positions in DC, and
- 32:00Speaker 2: those career positions in DC are what they refer to
- 32:05Speaker 2: as non political positions, okay, And and the non political
- 32:09Speaker 2: positions that Donald Trump did not replace was something that
- 32:18Speaker 2: ended up coming back to haunt him because you think
- 32:22Speaker 2: that these people in non political positions are not there
- 32:25Speaker 2: to undermine you and to actually undo what you're doing
- 32:28Speaker 2: and to hurt you, and so Donald Trump was trusting
- 32:31Speaker 2: and left them there like many other administrations, whether it's
- 32:34Speaker 2: a Bush administration, Obama administration, Biden administration.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Et cetera.
- 32:38Speaker 2: But what's changed is we now are very very much
- 32:42Speaker 2: in a political world. Okay, like it's it's incredibly the
- 32:47Speaker 2: government's changed. People that used to serve our country in
- 32:51Speaker 2: these non political roles, that's what they used to actually do,
- 32:55Speaker 2: that's no longer the case.
- 32:58Speaker 1: They no longer serve.
- 33:00Speaker 2: There are people that have infiltrated our government that are
- 33:03Speaker 2: in career positions that are supposed to stay the same
- 33:07Speaker 2: in essence, that are quote non political positions, right, that
- 33:13Speaker 2: are actually they've turned into extremely political positions.
- 33:21Speaker 1: That's a problem.
- 33:23Speaker 2: So you look at that, and what Heritage Foundation then
- 33:28Speaker 2: decided was, Okay, we got bamboozled, we got screwed last time.
- 33:33Speaker 2: Let's not do that again this time if Donald Trump
- 33:38Speaker 2: is elected. And so what the Heritage Foundation has done
- 33:42Speaker 2: is they've basically gone through and found positions that are
- 33:49Speaker 2: been politicized within the government, and they're preparing to then
- 33:54Speaker 2: make recommendations the Trump administration if he has elected on
- 34:00Speaker 2: real conservatives that they've already vetted that they've already set
- 34:04Speaker 2: down with, they've already talked to that they believe would
- 34:08Speaker 2: make great replacements for the people that are there that
- 34:13Speaker 2: are lefties, that are radical. Right now now, I think
- 34:16Speaker 2: it's pretty clear that our government has lost its way
- 34:19Speaker 2: on a level that none of us could have actually
- 34:21Speaker 2: imagined just how bad it is until we've witnessed the
- 34:24Speaker 2: Biden administration. And I'm talking about people that are extremely political.
- 34:29Speaker 2: I also think we know a lot more now about
- 34:31Speaker 2: those in our government that were there solely to undermine
- 34:34Speaker 2: every single thing that Donald Trump was doing when Donald
- 34:38Speaker 2: Trump was president of the United States of America. And remember,
- 34:41Speaker 2: you're supposed to serve at the pleasure of the president,
- 34:44Speaker 2: meaning you're supposed to support and help and advocate for
- 34:50Speaker 2: the president of the United States of America when you
- 34:53Speaker 2: were in when you're serving the president. There were a
- 34:56Speaker 2: lot of people in Trump's last term that they were
- 35:00Speaker 2: not serving him. They were not advocating for him, they
- 35:04Speaker 2: were not following through on his wishes as president, which
- 35:07Speaker 2: is what you're supposed to do. They were there undermining
- 35:12Speaker 2: the president. They were there doing his plans. So what
- 35:20Speaker 2: the Heritage Foundation is now done is they've said Okay,
- 35:22Speaker 2: we now know this, right like we understand it.
- 35:25Speaker 1: We now know it, we get it.
- 35:27Speaker 2: And so what we're going to do now is we're
- 35:29Speaker 2: going to put together a list, a very extensive, a
- 35:33Speaker 2: very deep bench of conservatives that we've vetted. So we're
- 35:38Speaker 2: not vetting them after election day, but we've got a
- 35:41Speaker 2: plan in place for January twentieth, twenty twenty five, where
- 35:45Speaker 2: the president can come in in a big way, and the.
- 35:48Speaker 1: President can really have a deep bench.
- 35:53Speaker 2: Of individuals that we can recommend to this administration.
- 35:58Speaker 1: That shouldn't sound scary to anyone.
- 36:01Speaker 2: I understand why it sounds scary to the Democrats, but
- 36:04Speaker 2: it shouldn't sound like anything nefarious to conservatives. We're just
- 36:10Speaker 2: learning to play the same way democrats play. Make sure
- 36:14Speaker 2: you share this podcast with your family and friends, please,
- 36:17Speaker 2: because a lot of what I just played for you're
- 36:18Speaker 2: not going to hear on the news.
- 36:20Speaker 1: And I'll see you back here tomorrow.
