- 0:01Speaker 1: It is a major victory for law and order when
- 0:03Speaker 1: it comes to the President Donald Trump having power to
- 0:06Speaker 1: do his job. The Supreme Court of the United States
- 0:10Speaker 1: lifted a block from the US District Judge James Boseburg,
- 0:14Speaker 1: which was law fair preventing the Trump administration from deporting
- 0:19Speaker 1: suspected illegal alien gang members. They were doing this under
- 0:23Speaker 1: the seventeen ninety eight Alien Enemies Act. Now, this ruling
- 0:28Speaker 1: from the Supreme Court is a massive win for President
- 0:31Speaker 1: Donald Trump and most importantly for the rule of law
- 0:34Speaker 1: in this country. It's also a massive win for his
- 0:36Speaker 1: administration because now they can actually do their jobs. It
- 0:41Speaker 1: was described quote as a narrow and focused on the
- 0:44Speaker 1: proper venue for the cases, rather than on the administration's
- 0:49Speaker 1: use of a century's old law to justify his decision
- 0:53Speaker 1: to deport suspected illegal alien gang members. That according to
- 0:57Speaker 1: The New York Times. So even when the President it's
- 1:00Speaker 1: a huge victory from the Supreme Court, just know the
- 1:03Speaker 1: hacks of the New York Times are still going to
- 1:06Speaker 1: lie to you about the premise of the ruling. Per
- 1:10Speaker 1: the New York Times, it was a five to four decision.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Happens all the time, by the way, and the Supreme
- 1:16Speaker 1: Court justice found that the migrants had improperly challenged their
- 1:22Speaker 1: deportations in Washington.
- 1:23Speaker 2: D C.
- 1:24Speaker 1: When they should have challenged him in Texas, where they
- 1:27Speaker 1: were being held quote unquote from the Times. Now, the
- 1:30Speaker 1: real headline should have been this, the Supreme Court sides
- 1:33Speaker 1: with the Trump administration and will allow them to continue
- 1:36Speaker 1: removing Venezuela and Transda Ragua gang members from the country
- 1:41Speaker 1: under the Alien's Enemies Act. But no, the media couldn't
- 1:44Speaker 1: actually tell you the story the honest way. In a
- 1:48Speaker 1: post on x the Attorney General Pam Bondi responded to
- 1:51Speaker 1: the Supreme Court decision and described it as a landmark
- 1:55Speaker 1: victory for.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Quote the rule of law.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Bondi continued saying that an activist judge in Washington, DC
- 2:03Speaker 1: does not have the jurisdiction to seize control of President
- 2:06Speaker 1: Trump's authority to conduct foreign policy and keep the American
- 2:10Speaker 1: people safe. The Department of Justice will continue fighting in
- 2:14Speaker 1: court to make Americas safe again. Trump also asked the
- 2:19Speaker 1: Supreme Court to allow the federal government to deport suspected
- 2:23Speaker 1: illegal alien gang members under the Alien Enemies Act, and
- 2:27Speaker 1: in March, Trump invoked the Alien Enemies Act to allow
- 2:30Speaker 1: for the expedited removal of illegal Venezuelan migrants who were
- 2:34Speaker 1: suspected of being members of that dangerous gang, the transda
- 2:38Speaker 1: Agua gang also that has been designated as a terrorist organization.
- 2:43Speaker 1: These are terrorists at the President's trying to get rid of.
- 2:47Speaker 1: This was a massive victory for the President, and it's
- 2:50Speaker 1: one that the media will not tell you the truth
- 2:53Speaker 1: on because they know just how damning it is to
- 2:56Speaker 1: their lawfare. At the end of the day, this means
- 2:59Speaker 1: that Donald try Trump is going to be able to
- 3:01Speaker 1: do what he needs to do to keep all of
- 3:04Speaker 1: us safe from these gang members. Now, this really broadens
- 3:08Speaker 1: out into also another bigger issue, and that issue deals
- 3:11Speaker 1: with just these judges who are doing everything they can
- 3:16Speaker 1: to undermine Donald Trump.
- 3:17Speaker 3: It is a form of law fare.
- 3:20Speaker 1: I want you to hear what Senator Schmid had to
- 3:22Speaker 1: say on Fox News Channel when he was talking about
- 3:25Speaker 1: just how bad it's gotten.
- 3:26Speaker 4: And so I think a lot of these judges are
- 3:28Speaker 4: taking it upon themselves to usurp really important power. For example,
- 3:32Speaker 4: when President Trump declared a predatory incursion of these criminal,
- 3:36Speaker 4: violent gangs, he's well within his Article two executive power
- 3:39Speaker 4: to deport them he can do that. The judge by
- 3:42Speaker 4: stepping in there, Judge Bosberg, by stepping in in the
- 3:45Speaker 4: case that we're talking about, he somehow got said.
- 3:48Speaker 5: You can't do that.
- 3:49Speaker 4: That is like that judge dictating missile strikes or deciding
- 3:53Speaker 4: troop movements. Those are national security issues, those are foreign
- 3:57Speaker 4: those are powers of the commander in chief. The judge
- 4:00Speaker 4: doesn't get to do so. The separation of powers works
- 4:02Speaker 4: both ways. You don't get to kind of jump into
- 4:05Speaker 4: the Article two branches authority on commander in chief power.
- 4:08Speaker 4: So I think you're about to see all these cases
- 4:10Speaker 4: make their way to Supreme Court, and I think President
- 4:12Speaker 4: Trump's on very firm ground, but we should address these
- 4:14Speaker 4: abuses that are happening now every day.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Pam Bonnie, the Attorney General of the United States of America,
- 4:20Speaker 1: also talking about just how radical these judges have become
- 4:24Speaker 1: and what they are doing.
- 4:25Speaker 6: The president is going to comply with the law. He
- 4:28Speaker 6: was overwhelmingly elected by an overwhelming majority of the United
- 4:33Speaker 6: States citizens to be our commander in chief, and that's
- 4:36Speaker 6: what he's been doing. Shannon. Just since January twentieth, we've
- 4:40Speaker 6: had over one hundred and seventy lawsuits filed against us.
- 4:44Speaker 6: That should be the constitutional crisis right there. Fifty injunctions
- 4:48Speaker 6: they're popping up every single day, trying to control his
- 4:52Speaker 6: executive power, trying to control where he believes our tax
- 4:56Speaker 6: dollars should be allocated. And saying he won by an
- 5:00Speaker 6: overwhelming majority is so important because that's what the American
- 5:03Speaker 6: people want, what President Trump campaign on and what he
- 5:07Speaker 6: want on, and he's implementing that agenda at a rapid speed.
- 5:11Speaker 6: None of us can keep up with them every single day,
- 5:14Speaker 6: and so it's just we're going after all of these lawsuits.
- 5:17Speaker 6: We're defending them all. We just got a great win
- 5:20Speaker 6: and will continue.
- 5:21Speaker 1: To fight, will continue to fight, and it looks like
- 5:24Speaker 1: now they're going to continue to also win. Senator Ted
- 5:27Speaker 1: Cruz also signed the alarm on these injunctions nationwide, injunctions
- 5:32Speaker 1: by these activist judges. And here is what he said
- 5:35Speaker 1: at a testimony hearing on the issue in front of
- 5:38Speaker 1: his committee in the Senate.
- 5:40Speaker 7: It's long been said that hypocrisy is the tribute that
- 5:43Speaker 7: vice pays to virtue. I have to admit I'm enjoying
- 5:47Speaker 7: listening to my Democrat colleagues suddenly discover the virtues of
- 5:51Speaker 7: the rule of law after four years where they brazenly
- 5:54Speaker 7: supported the most lawless Department of Justice and the most
- 5:57Speaker 7: politically weaponized department of justice our nation has ever. We
- 6:01Speaker 7: just heard the Senator from Rhye Island talk about the
- 6:03Speaker 7: imperative of protecting judges, and yet not a single Democrat
- 6:08Speaker 7: senator cared about the violent protesters that showed up outside
- 6:11Speaker 7: Supreme Court justices homes, including I might note female justices
- 6:16Speaker 7: like Justice Amy Coney Barrett threatening their family. And Joe
- 6:19Speaker 7: Biden's Attorney General didn't do a damn thing and refused
- 6:22Speaker 7: to enforce the law to protect those judges. Why because
- 6:26Speaker 7: he agreed with the violent protesters and he wanted to
- 6:29Speaker 7: intimidate and threaten those judges, Professor Bray. Under our constitution,
- 6:34Speaker 7: who should decide elections the voters or on elected judges.
- 6:39Speaker 8: The voters are the ones who should vote in the
- 6:41Speaker 8: election according to the laws, and the laws sometimes have
- 6:44Speaker 8: to be applied by the judges if they're aise.
- 6:46Speaker 7: And under our constitution, who is charged with making policy decisions?
- 6:52Speaker 7: Elected representatives elected by the people or unelected federal judges.
- 6:57Speaker 8: I think the question of policy, Senator, is a little
- 7:00Speaker 8: broader than a particular case, So the.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Basic laws should be enacted by Congress. That's where the
- 7:06Speaker 2: fountain of.
- 7:07Speaker 7: Polacy decisions are the elected branch. Right law is the
- 7:10Speaker 7: province of the court. Policy is the province of the
- 7:12Speaker 7: elected branches. These are not complicated, Professor Bray, Let me
- 7:15Speaker 7: ask you this, do the federal courts have power to
- 7:18Speaker 7: issue remedies for people who are not parties to a case?
- 7:22Speaker 8: That's the question, I agree is not complicated. They do
- 7:25Speaker 8: not have that power.
- 7:26Speaker 7: Is the phrase nationwide injunction or universal injunction found anywhere
- 7:30Speaker 7: in the Constitution?
- 7:31Speaker 2: It is not first chart the.
- 7:34Speaker 7: First one hundred and fifty years of our republic. How
- 7:36Speaker 7: many nationwide injunctions were issued?
- 7:39Speaker 2: My view is that there were not any until nineteen
- 7:41Speaker 2: sixty three.
- 7:42Speaker 9: Zero.
- 7:43Speaker 7: Now fast forward, how many nationwide injunctions were issued in
- 7:46Speaker 7: the entire twentieth century.
- 7:50Speaker 8: It's a small number, I would I would think it
- 7:53Speaker 8: would be a dozen.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Giver take it's not large.
- 7:56Speaker 7: Twenty seven actually, including Trump's first term. How many nationwide
- 8:03Speaker 7: injunctions were issued in the last twenty years?
- 8:06Speaker 2: Far more than that, thirty two.
- 8:09Speaker 7: From twenty twenty and one to twenty twenty four against Biden, Obama,
- 8:13Speaker 7: and Bush thirty two, and how many nationwide injunctions have
- 8:16Speaker 7: been issued in the last two months alone.
- 8:20Speaker 2: There have been quite a few thirty seven.
- 8:24Speaker 7: Let that sink in there have been more nationwide injunctions
- 8:28Speaker 7: in the past two months against President Trump than in
- 8:32Speaker 7: the entire twentieth century. There have been more nationwide injunction
- 8:36Speaker 7: against President Trump in the last two months than both
- 8:41Speaker 7: terms of George W. Bush, both terms of Barack Obama,
- 8:45Speaker 7: and Joe Biden's term. We saw during the Biden presidency
- 8:49Speaker 7: law Fair indicting President Trump four times, using the machinery
- 8:55Speaker 7: of justice to attack him, and that was an attack
- 8:57Speaker 7: on democracy because democrats today hate democracy. Democrats today are
- 9:05Speaker 7: angry at the voters for re electing Donald Trump and
- 9:08Speaker 7: electing a Republican Senate in a Republican House, and they
- 9:11Speaker 7: engage in Lawfair to stop democracy from operating.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Senator Cruz is absolutely right, and this is exactly why
- 9:18Speaker 1: it's so important that we fight back the way that
- 9:21Speaker 1: Pamboni said it wherever we have to when democrats abuse
- 9:26Speaker 1: their power, especially sitting on the bench. There has been
- 9:31Speaker 1: a story that has been circulating, and it's one that
- 9:34Speaker 1: we're going to debunk right now. It's that Republicans are
- 9:38Speaker 1: going to break with the president and destroy what he's
- 9:42Speaker 1: doing on tariffs. Well, Senator James Langford set the record
- 9:46Speaker 1: straight saying he doesn't think that's going to happen on
- 9:49Speaker 1: Capitol Hill at all. He said, if anything is stopping
- 9:53Speaker 1: the president will be lawfair in the court system. You're
- 9:56Speaker 1: noticing a trend with lawfair, right, take a list in
- 9:59Speaker 1: to in his own words from Oklahoma.
- 10:03Speaker 10: So, I think the president's challenge is not going to
- 10:05Speaker 10: be Congress. There'll be members of Congress saying, hey, this
- 10:07Speaker 10: needs to be able to come back to Congress as
- 10:09Speaker 10: it typically does. I think it's gonna be challenging the courts,
- 10:11Speaker 10: quite frankly, because it's novel, is new, it's a different
- 10:15Speaker 10: way to actually take on the tariffs, and so I
- 10:17Speaker 10: think the courts are going to jump in and say
- 10:18Speaker 10: we want to be able to take a look at this.
- 10:20Speaker 1: So there is a center saying, guess what, what you're
- 10:23Speaker 1: being told by the media is yet again another lie
- 10:27Speaker 1: to undermine President Trump and his job as the commander
- 10:30Speaker 1: in chief. Now, the Center also said, yes, there is
- 10:34Speaker 1: an attempt in Congress to quote rein in the president's
- 10:37Speaker 1: capability to manage tariffs, but quote, I don't think this
- 10:41Speaker 1: bill will have an impact on it at all. Now,
- 10:44Speaker 1: the Senate narrowly approved a tariff control bill which could
- 10:47Speaker 1: not have won approval if it was not for the
- 10:50Speaker 1: support of four Republicans. There's a little chance the bill
- 10:53Speaker 1: will get majority support in the House. Trump also still
- 10:57Speaker 1: has veto control of the bills should it win full approval.
- 11:02Speaker 1: You can't make this up, Langford said. The big pictures
- 11:05Speaker 1: that Trump is on the right course, and he believes
- 11:08Speaker 1: his constituents will see the benefits as well, saying, quote,
- 11:11Speaker 1: He's not wrong definitely that China is ripping us off
- 11:15Speaker 1: and that we've got bad trade issues all over the world.
- 11:18Speaker 1: And I'm looking forward to lots of new negotiated trade
- 11:21Speaker 1: agreements all around the world because my farmers and ranchers
- 11:24Speaker 1: are folks that do production of lots of different equipment here.
- 11:29Speaker 1: They want to be able to sell all over the world.
- 11:31Speaker 1: They want to be able to have fair markets.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Now.
- 11:35Speaker 1: President Trump also getting in on the action at the
- 11:38Speaker 1: White House today. He was taking questions with net and Yahoo,
- 11:42Speaker 1: and he was asked by the media about the tariffs.
- 11:44Speaker 1: There was a story that started to circulate that Donald
- 11:47Speaker 1: Trump was quote looking at pausing at the tariffs. Well,
- 11:50Speaker 1: Donald Trump said, guess what, that's not true. And here's
- 11:54Speaker 1: the present in his own words, any questions mister.
- 12:00Speaker 7: To the markets today and would you be open to
- 12:02Speaker 7: a pause in tariffs to allow for negotiation.
- 12:05Speaker 11: Well, we're to look into that. We have many, many
- 12:08Speaker 11: countries that are coming to negotiate deals with us, and
- 12:12Speaker 11: they're going to be fair deals, and certain cases they're
- 12:15Speaker 11: going to be paying substantial tariffs, they'll be fair deals.
- 12:20Speaker 11: You know, I spoke this morning with the Prime Minister
- 12:23Speaker 11: of Japan and we had a very good conversation. They're
- 12:27Speaker 11: coming and I said, one thing, you're going to have
- 12:29Speaker 11: to open up your country because we sold no cars,
- 12:32Speaker 11: like zero cars in Japan, and they sold millions of
- 12:36Speaker 11: cars into our country. They don't really take our agriculture,
- 12:40Speaker 11: a little bit of it just to keep us slightly happy,
- 12:42Speaker 11: but they don't take what they have us to be taking.
- 12:45Speaker 11: So we have a great relationship with Japan. We're going
- 12:47Speaker 11: to keep it that way. But they're coming in to
- 12:49Speaker 11: meet and other countries are coming in with China, as
- 12:54Speaker 11: you know, against my statement, they put a thirty four
- 12:58Speaker 11: percent tariff on above what their ridiculous tariffs were already,
- 13:04Speaker 11: and I said, if that tariff isn't removed by tomorrow
- 13:07Speaker 11: at twelve o'clock, we're putting a fifty percent tariff on
- 13:10Speaker 11: above the tariffs that we put on. So they've gone
- 13:14Speaker 11: for years, they've become a rich country because of people,
- 13:16Speaker 11: again that we're in the White House that allowed this
- 13:19Speaker 11: to happen, hundreds of billions of dollars a year, that'd
- 13:23Speaker 11: maken us on trade, and it shouldn't be that way.
- 13:25Speaker 11: And I have a great relationship with presidency. I hope
- 13:29Speaker 11: it's going to stay that way. I have great respect
- 13:31Speaker 11: for China, but they can't do this. We're just we're
- 13:35Speaker 11: going to have one shot at this, and no other
- 13:38Speaker 11: president's going to do this what I'm doing. And I'll
- 13:41Speaker 11: tell you what, it's an honor to do it because
- 13:43Speaker 11: we have been just just destroyed what they've done to
- 13:47Speaker 11: our system. You know, we have thirty six trillion dollars
- 13:50Speaker 11: of debt for a reason, and the reason is that
- 13:54Speaker 11: people allowed it to get that way. So we'll be
- 13:58Speaker 11: talking to China, we'll be talking to a lot of
- 14:01Speaker 11: different countries, and I think, you know, if if we
- 14:04Speaker 11: can make a really fair deal and a good deal
- 14:08Speaker 11: for the United States, not a good deal for other
- 14:10Speaker 11: This is America first. It's now America first. And we
- 14:14Speaker 11: didn't put America first. We put America last. The people
- 14:17Speaker 11: that were in the Oval Office put America list, and
- 14:20Speaker 11: we're not going to stand for So.
- 14:21Speaker 1: If you want to know who's on your side, it's
- 14:24Speaker 1: clearly the President of the United States of America. Yes,
- 14:27Speaker 1: the media is having to lie, manipulate and change the
- 14:30Speaker 1: headlines and tell you it's all doom and gloom, and
- 14:33Speaker 1: then line say the President's going to stop the tariffs,
- 14:36Speaker 1: pause the teriffs, back down from the tariff, show weakness. Well,
- 14:39Speaker 1: I think it's pretty clear now from what the President
- 14:41Speaker 1: said in the White House none of that is actually
- 14:43Speaker 1: going to happen.
- 14:45Speaker 4: Now.
- 14:45Speaker 1: The tariff guru at the White House is a guy
- 14:48Speaker 1: by the name of Peter Navarro. He went out on
- 14:50Speaker 1: the ingram Angle Show on Fox News Channel to talk
- 14:54Speaker 1: to average investors, many people like you and I that
- 14:58Speaker 1: invest for our retirement. And yes, it is a little
- 15:01Speaker 1: bit scary right now. It's concerning to see what's happening
- 15:04Speaker 1: on Wall Street. Well, here is the message from Pier
- 15:07Speaker 1: Navarro to all of us.
- 15:09Speaker 9: You heard the billionaire class.
- 15:12Speaker 12: Many of these people did in the end support President Trump,
- 15:16Speaker 12: but you might as well have thought we were on
- 15:18Speaker 12: the verge of breadlines in the United States today.
- 15:20Speaker 13: Well, I think in the end they supported Trump. I mean,
- 15:24Speaker 13: they're just like trying to put their bets whatever. Look,
- 15:28Speaker 13: here's the thing I want to say to small investors.
- 15:31Speaker 13: Don't panic. They want you to sell. You can't take
- 15:34Speaker 13: a loss until you sell. And what I see is
- 15:38Speaker 13: fifty thousand on the Dow. I predicted in twenty sixteen
- 15:42Speaker 13: the day after President got elected. Back then, when the
- 15:45Speaker 13: dead futures were dead read down, I said we're going
- 15:47Speaker 13: to go to twenty five thousand. I got that exactly right.
- 15:50Speaker 13: We're going to fifty. But more importantly, with the S
- 15:53Speaker 13: and P five hundred, the games we've had over the
- 15:56Speaker 13: last couple of years have been basically seven stocks the
- 15:59Speaker 13: magnific since seventy AIS, most of the stocks in the
- 16:03Speaker 13: S and P five hundred have gone nowhere. Now they're
- 16:06Speaker 13: going to go crazy. They're going to go so bullish
- 16:09Speaker 13: because we're bringing our investment home. The other thing I
- 16:11Speaker 13: want to say is we've got countries coming to us
- 16:15Speaker 13: or with these zero zero. It's like, well, we'll put
- 16:18Speaker 13: our terriffs down. Finally, if you'll put yours down, that's
- 16:20Speaker 13: not the big problem.
- 16:21Speaker 12: Why did that romer get going today that that Kevin Hasset,
- 16:25Speaker 12: who's been regular on the show, had floated that, well
- 16:29Speaker 12: zero's I watched Kevin.
- 16:32Speaker 9: Why did that? That sent the market back up?
- 16:35Speaker 13: Because what they're trying to do they're out in globalism
- 16:40Speaker 13: Land is shake bene of the American people and the
- 16:43Speaker 13: president trying.
- 16:44Speaker 9: To shake President Trump's confidence.
- 16:46Speaker 13: Exactly right, but but it's not working. It's not working,
- 16:48Speaker 13: as the president knows that we've been getting ripped off
- 16:50Speaker 13: for years.
- 16:51Speaker 1: If you go back to I love Navarro because it's
- 16:54Speaker 1: not working, right, it's not working on the president, it's
- 16:57Speaker 1: not working.
- 16:58Speaker 3: This is dumb.
- 16:59Speaker 1: It is not working because he understands his job. There's
- 17:04Speaker 1: also another question that he was asked about a recession.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Does he believe that a recession is coming? That's one
- 17:10Speaker 1: of the big plays we're hearing now from Democrats. Oh,
- 17:13Speaker 1: the presence running us into a recession. Well, Navarro had
- 17:17Speaker 1: this to say, the American voters as well.
- 17:20Speaker 13: And we get stuck with a hindsight. It's just doesn't.
- 17:23Speaker 9: This, Why do you think the market might turn around?
- 17:26Speaker 13: It's finding a bottom now, it's finding a bottom now.
- 17:28Speaker 13: But look, here's the thing.
- 17:31Speaker 5: It's going to shift.
- 17:33Speaker 13: Over, and it's gonna be companies in the S and
- 17:36Speaker 13: P five hundred who are the first to produce here.
- 17:39Speaker 13: Those are the ones going to lead to recovery. And
- 17:41Speaker 13: it's gonna happen Dow fifty thousand. I guarantee that, and
- 17:44Speaker 13: I guarantee no recession. Okay, Why because when we pass
- 17:48Speaker 13: the biggest broadest tax cut in history within a matter
- 17:52Speaker 13: of months, that's gonna be a great stimus. There's not
- 17:54Speaker 13: gonna be any inflation. We've already had a significant drop,
- 17:58Speaker 13: a huge drop in oil prices war that's like a
- 18:01Speaker 13: point off the CPI. We're going to have lower yields
- 18:05Speaker 13: and mortgage Now.
- 18:06Speaker 1: One of the things that Peter talked about there is
- 18:08Speaker 1: this recent development that has led to a significant decrease
- 18:12Speaker 1: in gas prices across the United States of America. As
- 18:16Speaker 1: of April to seventh, the nationwide average for a gallon
- 18:20Speaker 1: of regular gasoline stands at three dollars and twenty five cents.
- 18:24Speaker 1: That is a massive drop from previous weeks. Now, why
- 18:27Speaker 1: is this happening. There's a couple of key factors to
- 18:30Speaker 1: the decline. Number one, tariffs induced economic uncertainty, and so
- 18:34Speaker 1: what did that mean. Well, the present made it very
- 18:37Speaker 1: clear that for him to be able to do what
- 18:38Speaker 1: he's doing on tariffs, he need to make sure the
- 18:40Speaker 1: price of oil drop, the price of gas would drop.
- 18:44Speaker 1: He's done this by opening up and allowing for America
- 18:48Speaker 1: to become energy independent.
- 18:50Speaker 3: Yet again that's been a huge factor in this.
- 18:52Speaker 1: We've also had seen an increase because of that in
- 18:56Speaker 1: oil production, and so you're looking at the organization of
- 19:00Speaker 1: patrolling exporting countries and it's Allies OPEK. Plus they've also
- 19:05Speaker 1: decided to accelerate the restoration of oil production cuts, leading
- 19:08Speaker 1: to an oversupply in the market and further driving down
- 19:12Speaker 1: oil price as well. And then you've got the issues
- 19:14Speaker 1: with seasonal demand fluctuations where we're past spring break, we're
- 19:18Speaker 1: not to summer yet that's also a big deal. You
- 19:23Speaker 1: combine all of this together and what it means is
- 19:26Speaker 1: from a major economic implication, lower gas prices are offering
- 19:30Speaker 1: immediate relief to consumers, they may also signal underlying economic
- 19:35Speaker 1: challenges as well. For many Americans who are now looking
- 19:39Speaker 1: at cheaper things like gas is a way to breathe
- 19:43Speaker 1: a little bit of relief. So this is part of
- 19:46Speaker 1: why Navar said, Look, we're not going into a recession.
- 19:50Speaker 1: So you can believe the media who keeps lying to you,
- 19:53Speaker 1: or you can listen to President United States of America
- 19:55Speaker 1: and his team. We know what we're doing and we
- 19:57Speaker 1: know how to win on these issues. In some very
- 20:01Speaker 1: important international news, the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanya,
- 20:06Speaker 1: who met with Donald Trump at the White House.
- 20:09Speaker 3: But one of the.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Biggest things that came out of the conversation was some
- 20:13Speaker 1: breaking news that Donald Trump announced about having direct talks
- 20:17Speaker 1: with Iran over their nuclear weapons program. The present saying
- 20:22Speaker 1: this at the White House, sitting next to bb.
- 20:26Speaker 11: We're having direct talks with Iran and they've started. It'll
- 20:32Speaker 11: go on Saturday. We have a very big meeting and
- 20:34Speaker 11: we'll see what can happen. And I think everybody agrees
- 20:38Speaker 11: that doing a deal would be preferable to doing the obvious,
- 20:44Speaker 11: and the obvious is not something that I want to
- 20:47Speaker 11: be involved with, or frankly, that Israel wants to be
- 20:50Speaker 11: involved with if they can avoid it. So we're going
- 20:52Speaker 11: to see if we can avoid it, but it's getting
- 20:56Speaker 11: to be very dangerous territory. And hopefully the talks will
- 21:00Speaker 11: be successful, and I think it would be intern's best
- 21:03Speaker 11: interests if they are successful. We hope that's going to happen.
- 21:09Speaker 11: And we had just a lot of good talks on
- 21:10Speaker 11: a lot of things.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Now, as President Trump was saying this in the Oval Office,
- 21:15Speaker 1: Reuters came out with an exclusive report saying that Iran
- 21:19Speaker 1: back militias in Iraq are ready to disarm to avert
- 21:23Speaker 1: what they describe as a Trump wrath. That's right coming
- 21:27Speaker 1: out of Baghdad. Several powerful Iranian backed militia groups in
- 21:32Speaker 1: Iraq are prepared to disarm for the first time to
- 21:35Speaker 1: avert the threat of an escalating conflict with the US
- 21:38Speaker 1: Trump administration. That is what ten senior commanders and Iraqi
- 21:43Speaker 1: officials said to Reuters. The move to diffuse tensions follows
- 21:48Speaker 1: repeated warnings issued privately by US officials to the Iraqi
- 21:53Speaker 1: government since Trump took power in January. According to sources
- 21:57Speaker 1: who include six local commanders of four major militias, the
- 22:02Speaker 1: officials told Baghdad that unless it acted to disband the
- 22:06Speaker 1: militias operating on its soil, America could target the groups
- 22:11Speaker 1: with air strikes. A senior Muslim politician close to Iraq's
- 22:15Speaker 1: government's alliance also towed Reuters that discussions between the Prime
- 22:20Speaker 1: Minister and several militia leaders were quote very advanced, and
- 22:25Speaker 1: the groups were inclined to comply with US calls for disarmament.
- 22:30Speaker 1: The factions are not acting stubbornly or insisting on continuing
- 22:34Speaker 1: in their current form, he said, adding that the groups
- 22:38Speaker 1: were fully aware they could be targeted by US air strikes.
- 22:43Speaker 1: The six militia commanders interviewed in Baghdad by Reuters at
- 22:47Speaker 1: a southern province, who requested obviously eminemity to discuss the
- 22:51Speaker 1: sense of situation are from multiple different groups, many of
- 22:55Speaker 1: them also a ties to Iran. Trump is ready to
- 22:59Speaker 1: take the war with us to worse levels. We know that,
- 23:03Speaker 1: one of the commanders said, and we want to avoid
- 23:05Speaker 1: such a bad scenario. The most powerful Sheite militia also
- 23:10Speaker 1: saying that it's time for us to find a way
- 23:13Speaker 1: to work together.
- 23:14Speaker 3: You cannot make this up.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Why are they doing this now because they've witnessed what
- 23:19Speaker 1: the president's doing with other leaders that he decides to
- 23:22Speaker 1: take out ISIS leaders and the President making it clear
- 23:25Speaker 1: that if you don't get a deal now, well you're
- 23:28Speaker 1: probably going to end up dead. The commander said, their
- 23:32Speaker 1: main ally and patron, Iran's elite Revolutionary Guards military force,
- 23:38Speaker 1: has given them its blessing to take whatever decisions they
- 23:41Speaker 1: deem necessary to avoid being drawn into a potentially ruinous
- 23:47Speaker 1: conflict with the United States and Israel. So the moral
- 23:52Speaker 1: of the story is even Iran's military understands that right
- 23:56Speaker 1: now is not a time to mess with the Trump administration,
- 24:00Speaker 1: and this may be exactly why they're willing to talk
- 24:03Speaker 1: directly with the Trump administration to avert military strikes from
- 24:07Speaker 1: a president that says he's not bluffing.
- 24:11Speaker 3: Now, even CNN is reporting.
- 24:13Speaker 1: About the fact that the US is having these nuclear
- 24:16Speaker 1: talks with Iran. Mike Ran appeared on CNN's The Source
- 24:21Speaker 1: with Caitlin Collins to discuss the talks, and here's what
- 24:24Speaker 1: he said about the reporting.
- 24:26Speaker 14: My source tonight is the former Israeli ambassador to the US,
- 24:29Speaker 14: Michael Orrin, Ambassador. Thank you for being with US and
- 24:33Speaker 14: President Trump. He wasn't willing to say right that the
- 24:36Speaker 14: US would strike Iran's nuclear facilities. That is, of course
- 24:39Speaker 14: what Israel has long push for What do you expect
- 24:42Speaker 14: the US to do if discussions fail.
- 24:46Speaker 5: Well, one thing that President Trump has done, to be honest,
- 24:48Speaker 5: he put the military option back on the table a
- 24:51Speaker 5: President Biden had taken it off the table. So it's
- 24:53Speaker 5: clearly on the table with the audience understand it's on
- 24:55Speaker 5: the table. But also, according to the reports tonight, for
- 24:58Speaker 5: the first time, as you said, in a decade, direct
- 25:00Speaker 5: talks between the United States and Iran, because during the
- 25:02Speaker 5: Biden administration the talks were indirect. So that is already
- 25:06Speaker 5: a step well from the Iranian perspective, a step forward.
- 25:10Speaker 5: Though we should say that the Iranans are kind of
- 25:11Speaker 5: denying that the distrect.
- 25:12Speaker 14: The Iranian Foreign Minister is saying that these are indirect.
- 25:16Speaker 5: High level talks.
- 25:17Speaker 14: So that's a different story.
- 25:18Speaker 9: What do you make of that.
- 25:19Speaker 5: It's a different story. But the essence is that there's talks,
- 25:22Speaker 5: and the talks then are going to raise some very
- 25:24Speaker 5: serious questions on the Israeli side. My gut feeling tells
- 25:27Speaker 5: me that what brought Prime Misi nesan Nowity to Washington
- 25:29Speaker 5: on such short notice wasn't just the tiriffs, and the
- 25:32Speaker 5: tariffs were serious it's about two and a half billion
- 25:34Speaker 5: dollars worth of trade from Israel's side at a time
- 25:36Speaker 5: when the Israeli economy is very vulnerable because of the war.
- 25:39Speaker 5: But what really brought him here was the Iranian the
- 25:42Speaker 5: notion that the understanding that these talks are about to
- 25:44Speaker 5: take place apparently on next Saturday. And there are three
- 25:48Speaker 5: major questions that Israel's going to be asking how long
- 25:51Speaker 5: the talks are going on for? You know, the Iranians
- 25:53Speaker 5: are really good negotiators. They'll drag it out at a
- 25:56Speaker 5: time when the Russians are rebuilding the ear defenses in
- 25:59Speaker 5: Iran that were knocked out by the Israeli Air Force.
- 26:01Speaker 5: Big question. Second one is what's the goal of the talks?
- 26:05Speaker 5: Is the goal of a talks an agreement similar to
- 26:07Speaker 5: the twenty fifteen Obama Iran agreement which basically froze the
- 26:12Speaker 5: Iranian program for about a decade, but didn't dismantle the program.
- 26:17Speaker 5: And the third question is, as the President says, what
- 26:19Speaker 5: if the talks don't work, what is the next step?
- 26:22Speaker 5: Will the United States then support is really military action
- 26:25Speaker 5: against Iran to stop that program? Will the United States
- 26:28Speaker 5: join in that military action? As the President seems to
- 26:31Speaker 5: intimate that would be the case. But these are crucial
- 26:33Speaker 5: questions that Israelis will look to get answers from from
- 26:36Speaker 5: the White House.
- 26:37Speaker 14: Why do you think the Trump administration could strike a
- 26:40Speaker 14: better deal than the Obama administration.
- 26:43Speaker 5: Well, first of all, because of the credible military threat.
- 26:46Speaker 5: Obama had all options on the table, you remember, but
- 26:49Speaker 5: I don't think people actually believed it. I think that
- 26:52Speaker 5: now with the United States bombing the hoodies the way
- 26:54Speaker 5: they have, that's sending a message to Iran, a rather
- 26:57Speaker 5: unclitical message that this administration is willing to use four
- 27:00Speaker 5: to a degree that previous administrations. I certainly some previous
- 27:03Speaker 5: democratic administrations were unwilling to use that type of force.
- 27:06Speaker 5: And the Ruddians are aware, how should we say this?
- 27:09Speaker 5: This is president is not predictable in that way, and
- 27:11Speaker 5: that Iranians like predictability. They don't like dealing with the
- 27:15Speaker 5: uncertainty that President Trump could turn around and give that
- 27:18Speaker 5: order to those B two and B one and B
- 27:21Speaker 5: fifty two bombers to go into Iranian skies.
- 27:25Speaker 1: By the way, I love how they act like Donald
- 27:27Speaker 1: Trump being strong against Iran getting a nuclear weapon in
- 27:31Speaker 1: the Middle East is somehow like impredictability from Donald Trump, Like,
- 27:37Speaker 1: isn't this exactly what you want a president to do?
- 27:41Speaker 1: Because Iran knew that the military option had been taken
- 27:43Speaker 1: off the table.
- 27:44Speaker 3: You just heard that from the former Israeli ambassador of
- 27:46Speaker 3: the US.
- 27:47Speaker 1: He said in the last administration, Iran was one hundred
- 27:51Speaker 1: percent sure that military use was not going to be
- 27:54Speaker 1: done against them. In other words, you can do what
- 27:56Speaker 1: you want to do, and yeah, there may be some
- 27:58Speaker 1: sanctions against you and some other stuff, but you don't
- 28:00Speaker 1: have to worry about actual military action. So that's number
- 28:05Speaker 1: one here. That is a I think a really really
- 28:07Speaker 1: really important point to make. The second important point that
- 28:11Speaker 1: also needs to be made here is this. You have
- 28:14Speaker 1: a president now that is saying all options are on
- 28:16Speaker 1: the table. If you choose to go in a different
- 28:20Speaker 1: direction than what we're telling you you need to do,
- 28:23Speaker 1: this is up to Iran if they want to be
- 28:26Speaker 1: in that situation, if they want to be in that scenario.
- 28:29Speaker 1: And I think that is the point that's clearly being
- 28:32Speaker 1: made by this administration is the days of you getting
- 28:35Speaker 1: to dictate, they are over, the days of you getting
- 28:42Speaker 1: closer to a nuclear weapon, they're over. If you want
- 28:46Speaker 1: to play this game of chicken with the United States
- 28:48Speaker 1: of America, with the Trump administration, it's a very deadly game.
- 28:52Speaker 1: I actually go back to what was said earlier, you know,
- 28:56Speaker 1: when the President said we're having these direct talks. That
- 29:00Speaker 1: a good thing, right, He's saying, we're talking directly, We
- 29:04Speaker 1: are sitting down and we are talking directly. Donald Trump
- 29:08Speaker 1: is dead serious about this was another way that it
- 29:11Speaker 1: was described earlier today on Fox News Channel. They're saying
- 29:14Speaker 1: he's not joking and everyone in the Middle East knows it.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:18Speaker 15: Absolutely, you can penetrate an iPhone.
- 29:20Speaker 16: Let's talk about Iran. The President clearly changing strategy from
- 29:24Speaker 16: the Biden administration and even you know, making a very
- 29:27Speaker 16: forceful declaration in his letter that you're going to get
- 29:30Speaker 16: We're open to talks Iran, but you're gonna have to
- 29:33Speaker 16: dismantle your nuclear program and you have two months to
- 29:36Speaker 16: agree to the talks. This is a big change in policy.
- 29:39Speaker 16: And how do you read it? Is he President really
- 29:42Speaker 16: serious about this?
- 29:45Speaker 15: I think he's dead serious about this, and no doubt
- 29:48Speaker 15: in my mind whatsoever. He's issued an ultimatum and he's
- 29:52Speaker 15: very clear about it. He wants voluntarily dismantling the program
- 29:56Speaker 15: verified by outside inspectors, and he wants it done by
- 30:00Speaker 15: date certain and that is the right approach to this.
- 30:03Speaker 15: And then he's told them very clearly that there will
- 30:07Speaker 15: be grave consequences if you don't do it. They know
- 30:10Speaker 15: what that means. It's likely and it has rarely led
- 30:13Speaker 15: US supported air strike to forciully dismantle that program. And
- 30:18Speaker 15: that's the path we are on. And I absolutely think
- 30:22Speaker 15: that the President coming in, even though it's early in
- 30:25Speaker 15: his administration, sending this unequivocal message to Iran, that's your
- 30:30Speaker 15: day of being the Malian aggressor in the Middle East
- 30:34Speaker 15: and also funding all your proxies to destabilize the Middle East.
- 30:39Speaker 15: It's over and Iran is back on its heels, Paul
- 30:42Speaker 15: and the way they haven't been in forty four years.
- 30:45Speaker 15: The President's team knows it, and they're in pursuit of
- 30:48Speaker 15: stopping what Iran has been doing all of these years,
- 30:51Speaker 15: and a nuclear enterprise will be a significant blow to them.
- 30:57Speaker 1: This is why I love having a commander in chief
- 31:00Speaker 1: that just isn't screwing around on national security, on tariffs,
- 31:05Speaker 1: on foreign policy.
- 31:08Speaker 3: He's just not going to screw around. And you can
- 31:12Speaker 3: hear it in.
- 31:13Speaker 1: The way that the White House talks about this. We're
- 31:15Speaker 1: willing to speak to you directly. We're willing to talk directly,
- 31:20Speaker 1: We're willing to negotiate directly. But to be clear, we're
- 31:25Speaker 1: not going to allow you to get a nuclear weapon.
- 31:28Speaker 1: We're not going to allow you to continue to send
- 31:32Speaker 1: massive amounts of funds to these terrorists organizations, whether they
- 31:37Speaker 1: are in Iraq or in Syria or Hamas or hesblat
- 31:42Speaker 1: and undermine and kill innocent men, women, children in Israel.
- 31:45Speaker 1: I also think it's very important that a lot of
- 31:48Speaker 1: this conversation took place side by side with NET and
- 31:51Speaker 1: Yahoo in the Oval Office, with the President making it
- 31:55Speaker 1: clear we are unified together. He's also said over again
- 32:00Speaker 1: he believes that they have the right, Okay, they have
- 32:06Speaker 1: the right to defend themselves. In translation, would allow Israel
- 32:13Speaker 1: to defend itself and protect itself at all costs, meaning
- 32:17Speaker 1: America would support you, we would give you what you need.
- 32:20Speaker 1: We would probably be involved in some capacity, maybe even
- 32:23Speaker 1: in the attack, to make sure that Iran is kept
- 32:27Speaker 1: in check. What's also shocking to me is just how
- 32:30Speaker 1: close Iran got and is right now to a nuclear weapon,
- 32:35Speaker 1: because the last administration allowed them to get that close
- 32:39Speaker 1: because they took the military option off the table. Make
- 32:45Speaker 1: sure you take this podcast and share it wherever you can.
- 32:47Speaker 1: We're going to keep breaking this type of news for
- 32:49Speaker 1: you guys, so share it wherever you can, and I
- 32:52Speaker 1: will see you back here tomorrow
