- 0:01Speaker 1: Well, we got a deal done in the House. That
- 0:03Speaker 1: is the headline. The question is how was the deal
- 0:07Speaker 1: done and how did it turn out to be so
- 0:10Speaker 1: different than what was originally going to happen. It is
- 0:13Speaker 1: the art of the deal, that's the best way I
- 0:15Speaker 1: can describe it. And it was a deal that certainly
- 0:17Speaker 1: was going to put us in a better place than
- 0:19Speaker 1: we were before because many Conservatives were willing to stand
- 0:24Speaker 1: up and fight hard. The Maga revolt, that's how it's
- 0:28Speaker 1: being described in the press right now. Slash the original
- 0:32Speaker 1: one thousand, five hundred and forty seven page spending bill
- 0:38Speaker 1: all the way down to just one hundred and eighteen
- 0:42Speaker 1: pages this Friday, and the House bill to a verta
- 0:46Speaker 1: government shutdown was trimmed by one thousand, three hundred and
- 0:51Speaker 1: fifty nine pages after conservatives said, no, we are not
- 0:56Speaker 1: going to have this massive expansion of government and it
- 0:59Speaker 1: can continuing resolution and we're not going to have the
- 1:02Speaker 1: pork barrel spending in the cr as Well, House Speaker
- 1:06Speaker 1: Mike Johnson's original measure was filled with pork, There's no
- 1:10Speaker 1: doubt about it. Now. He also had to work a
- 1:12Speaker 1: deal because he had to deal with Republicans and Democrats,
- 1:16Speaker 1: and that's a very tough spot to be in. I
- 1:18Speaker 1: want to be clear about that, and I'm going to
- 1:19Speaker 1: explain more about why I say that in a moment.
- 1:22Speaker 1: But the reduction in size underscores what I would say
- 1:26Speaker 1: is that failure by the pork barrel spenders in DC
- 1:30Speaker 1: who wanted to pass a massive spending bill with Democrats
- 1:33Speaker 1: support that few had even read before members were asked
- 1:37Speaker 1: to vote on it, and that is a problem. There
- 1:40Speaker 1: is an appetite for government reform right now. There's an
- 1:43Speaker 1: appetite for reducing the size of government. It's very clear
- 1:46Speaker 1: that there was a mandate for that in this last election.
- 1:49Speaker 1: There is a huge appetite in people supporting and advocating
- 1:53Speaker 1: for DOGE. That is going to be streamlining and changing
- 1:59Speaker 1: how we do and run and spend our money in
- 2:03Speaker 1: the US. That's being done by Elon Musk and by
- 2:06Speaker 1: the vic Ramaswamie at the leadership of Donald Trump. Now
- 2:10Speaker 1: you put all that together and Democrats are angry. They're
- 2:15Speaker 1: angry at Elon Musk, and they're angry at MAGA. They're
- 2:18Speaker 1: angry at Conservatives for standing up to the government waste
- 2:22Speaker 1: and abuse. How angry are they let me play for you.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Rosa Delaro, who lost her mind on the floor of
- 2:31Speaker 1: the House. Is she's angry as she describes it, that
- 2:34Speaker 1: there is some man who is elected by no one
- 2:38Speaker 1: who is now giving marching orders to the House and
- 2:41Speaker 1: the Republicans to shut down the government. As she described it,
- 2:45Speaker 1: take a listen to the purpled haired Democrat from Connecticut.
- 2:50Speaker 2: We are on the cusp of an agreement to move
- 2:54Speaker 2: this country forward. But two days ago, a multi billionaire
- 3:00Speaker 2: with apparently no working knowledge of our government or of appropriations,
- 3:08Speaker 2: someone who is a self appointed President of the United States,
- 3:12Speaker 2: Elon Musk, issued a marching order for House Republicans to
- 3:18Speaker 2: go against their own elected leadership. Shut down the government.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Shut down the government. House Republicans are responsible for any
- 3:29Speaker 2: harm and uncertainty brought upon the American people, and should
- 3:33Speaker 2: some get their wish for a month long government shut down,
- 3:38Speaker 2: they will be responsible for cleaning up their mess come
- 3:41Speaker 2: inauguration day. Indeed, we are in completely unprecedented times when
- 3:47Speaker 2: someone who has no knowledge of government, who has no
- 3:52Speaker 2: knowledge of an appropriations process, who is external to the
- 3:58Speaker 2: House of Representatives, can make his weight felt here in
- 4:03Speaker 2: turning what was a bill that was on its way,
- 4:09Speaker 2: a bipartisan bill, a bi camer bill, was on its
- 4:13Speaker 2: way to achieving its goal of keeping the US government open.
- 4:19Speaker 2: And the goal actually is providing services to American citizens,
- 4:25Speaker 2: to working families, middle class families, vulnerable families, where our
- 4:33Speaker 2: responsibility lies. The world's richest man reaping billions in government
- 4:42Speaker 2: contracts is calling the shots in the Republican Party at
- 4:48Speaker 2: the behest of the world's richest man, who no one
- 4:53Speaker 2: voted for. The United States Congress has been thrown into
- 4:58Speaker 2: pandemonian It leads you to to the question of who
- 5:02Speaker 2: is in charge. I thought that there was a Republican
- 5:07Speaker 2: majority in this body, not a President Musk majority.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Now let's talk about what she said. Quote the self
- 5:21Speaker 1: appointed President of the United States, Elon Musk Is, he'd
- 5:23Speaker 1: a marching order for House Republicans to shut the government down.
- 5:27Speaker 1: What he made, what he actually did was he said, no,
- 5:29Speaker 1: I'm calling out the abuse of power. I'm calling out
- 5:34Speaker 1: the fact that you've got a bill that no one's read.
- 5:36Speaker 1: There's one five and forty seven pages long, filled with
- 5:39Speaker 1: port Belle spending, and I want to reduce it. And
- 5:42Speaker 1: we did and condensed it into one hundred and eighteen pages,
- 5:45Speaker 1: and excluded the extreme amount of pork that Johnson allowed.
- 5:48Speaker 1: By the way, in the original bill, Elon Musk is
- 5:52Speaker 1: not the President of the United States of America. But
- 5:54Speaker 1: what Elon Musk did was give a voice to the
- 5:57Speaker 1: voiceless in this country and those that don't have the
- 6:00Speaker 1: type of power to get the word out that he
- 6:03Speaker 1: clearly does. And the American people clearly agreed with him,
- 6:07Speaker 1: and the American people acted, and the American people called
- 6:10Speaker 1: their congressman, and the American people got rid literally, this
- 6:14Speaker 1: is not exaggeration, got rid of one thousand, three hundred
- 6:19Speaker 1: and fifty nine pages of government waste, abuse and fraud.
- 6:25Speaker 1: That is incredible. So was it worth it? Yes? Was
- 6:30Speaker 1: it anarchy? No? Was it Elon Musk giving power to
- 6:34Speaker 1: the people to make sure that the people were able
- 6:38Speaker 1: to do what they need to do and saying no
- 6:42Speaker 1: to mass suspending. Yes. Now, here's what you need to
- 6:47Speaker 1: know about what they have passed on the House side.
- 6:49Speaker 1: And I'm going to get to the Senate in a moment,
- 6:51Speaker 1: because the Senate is controlled, as you know, by the Democrats.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Right now, the bill will fund the government until March fourteenth.
- 7:00Speaker 1: It also includes disaster relief and farm aid, which is
- 7:04Speaker 1: very important. The builders does not include an extension of
- 7:08Speaker 1: the debt limit, which President elect Donald Trump demanded. That
- 7:11Speaker 1: will place Johnson's reelection on January third for Speaker in
- 7:15Speaker 1: a very precarious position. I want to be clear, I
- 7:18Speaker 1: support Speaker Johnson, and I think we would get a
- 7:21Speaker 1: much more liberal speaker if Speaker Johnson is pushed out.
- 7:25Speaker 1: And I don't like what we're doing right now. Every
- 7:27Speaker 1: time somebody because there's such a thin margin for Republicans
- 7:32Speaker 1: that there's a lot of power now given to certain
- 7:34Speaker 1: members in Congress, and I don't like where we're headed
- 7:37Speaker 1: with this because if you don't like your one way
- 7:39Speaker 1: or the way things are going, the fact that you
- 7:41Speaker 1: can get rid of another speaker, I think is a
- 7:43Speaker 1: very bad decision. I also think that Speaker Johnson has
- 7:46Speaker 1: done a very good job, and I think you will
- 7:49Speaker 1: serve Donald Trump very well, much better than Kevin McCarthy
- 7:53Speaker 1: would have ever done. And if he's not careful, what's
- 7:56Speaker 1: going to happen is you're going to end up getting
- 7:58Speaker 1: a much more liberal member of the body who would
- 8:02Speaker 1: end up becoming the Speaker of the House because they'll
- 8:04Speaker 1: get some votes from Democrats to do it more than likely,
- 8:07Speaker 1: and then you'll lose an actual conservative in Speaker Johnson.
- 8:11Speaker 1: That's where we are now with this. Now, let me
- 8:14Speaker 1: also put it this way. Punch Bowl News reported on
- 8:18Speaker 1: the politics the latest proposed measure, saying this Johnson is
- 8:22Speaker 1: now pushing a short term funding bill that keeps federal
- 8:25Speaker 1: agencies open until mid March. The bill would include one
- 8:28Speaker 1: hundred billion in disaster aid for the hurricane battery Southeast
- 8:31Speaker 1: and other states. There's also thirty billion in aid for
- 8:35Speaker 1: farmers and a one year extension of the current agriculture policy.
- 8:39Speaker 1: The measure will be taken up under suspicion according to
- 8:43Speaker 1: senior GOP lawmakers and AIDS meeting, meaning it needs a
- 8:46Speaker 1: two third majority to pass. There'll be one vote instead
- 8:50Speaker 1: of individual votes on the component parts as Johnson's first envisioned. Now,
- 8:55Speaker 1: what we know is what happened. What we know now,
- 8:58Speaker 1: it's very clear this has past the House, and it's
- 9:02Speaker 1: past the House, and it now is the sentence. And
- 9:06Speaker 1: I'm going to talk about that vote obviously in a moment.
- 9:09Speaker 1: But what I want you to understand is this Speaker
- 9:12Speaker 1: Johnson was able to get this bill to drop significantly
- 9:17Speaker 1: in size and save you the taxpayers, hundreds of billions
- 9:22Speaker 1: of dollars. The problem now is you're now going to
- 9:26Speaker 1: have a debt ceiling vote come early next year, and
- 9:29Speaker 1: that's going to be under the Republican leadership and under
- 9:32Speaker 1: Donald Trump. There are many people that didn't want that,
- 9:34Speaker 1: don't like it, didn't want to have to deal with this,
- 9:37Speaker 1: and that's a political issue that we're going to obviously
- 9:39Speaker 1: have to deal with. So let's talk about the fallout
- 9:43Speaker 1: now of this deal. There is clearly blood in the
- 9:46Speaker 1: water over this deal, and the sharks are circling around
- 9:51Speaker 1: Speaker Johnson because of the fighting and the pork and
- 9:55Speaker 1: everything that's in this bill. Now, I want to be clear,
- 9:58Speaker 1: when you have this razor thin the majority as he does,
- 10:01Speaker 1: it gives a lot of yahoos in Congress a lot
- 10:04Speaker 1: of power, and it makes you have to listen to
- 10:08Speaker 1: more people and to give people more things they want
- 10:11Speaker 1: to make sure you get their vote. Otherwise then you
- 10:13Speaker 1: have a government shut down and it's on you, the
- 10:15Speaker 1: Republican Party. I want to make it very clear that
- 10:19Speaker 1: I still believe that Speaker Johnson is a conservative, and
- 10:22Speaker 1: I also want to be clear that I think he's
- 10:24Speaker 1: probably the most conservative that we could get elected that
- 10:27Speaker 1: would have the votes to be elected as a Speaker
- 10:30Speaker 1: of the House. I don't like what we're doing right now,
- 10:33Speaker 1: which every time there's a vote on saying significant, there's
- 10:36Speaker 1: this litanus test. It's like, well, if you don't give
- 10:38Speaker 1: me what I want, then I'm going to get you
- 10:40Speaker 1: out of your office and your job. And I don't
- 10:42Speaker 1: like a speaker being held hostage by his own party.
- 10:45Speaker 1: But that's the road that Republicans are going down right now.
- 10:49Speaker 1: And I'm saying it again, I think you have to
- 10:51Speaker 1: be extremely careful. You have to be very, very, very
- 10:55Speaker 1: very careful, because this is what the Democratic Party does
- 10:58Speaker 1: better than us. They don't eat their own. We keep
- 11:02Speaker 1: eating our own. And you have to understand that there's
- 11:06Speaker 1: ideals and then there's the reality of the numbers. And
- 11:09Speaker 1: if you look at the majority and just how thin
- 11:12Speaker 1: it is right now, we're lucky to have the majority
- 11:14Speaker 1: in the House, to be clear, We're very lucky, and
- 11:18Speaker 1: it is a razor thin majority. What Speaker Johnson is
- 11:23Speaker 1: having to walk into every day where any one or
- 11:25Speaker 1: two or three Congressmen can hold him hostage every single
- 11:29Speaker 1: day of the week, on any issue is not a
- 11:32Speaker 1: healthy place for us to be. And it's not Democrats
- 11:35Speaker 1: that are holding him hostage, it is Republicans that are
- 11:38Speaker 1: holding him hostage. This is an extremely hard job, especially
- 11:44Speaker 1: when you have Republicans there are, in essence willing to
- 11:47Speaker 1: walk in every day different ones and blackmail him. Now,
- 11:51Speaker 1: the deal he negotiated with the Democrats failed to get
- 11:53Speaker 1: a vote amid Republican outrage because of what he was
- 11:58Speaker 1: having to do, which was to give pork. He had
- 12:02Speaker 1: no other option but to do that or to have
- 12:04Speaker 1: a government shut down. Now, I want to be clear
- 12:08Speaker 1: about what did and didn't happen here because some people
- 12:10Speaker 1: are blaming Johnson for all this and they don't understand
- 12:14Speaker 1: the reality of the situation. The reason why we got
- 12:19Speaker 1: this bill reduced by thirteen hundred plus pages is because
- 12:23Speaker 1: the American people started calling not Johnson, but they're actual
- 12:26Speaker 1: members of Congress, and the actual members of Congress for
- 12:29Speaker 1: feeling the heat. They were afraid they were going to
- 12:30Speaker 1: get in trouble or be primaried, and so then they
- 12:34Speaker 1: decided to do the right thing that allowed Johnson to
- 12:37Speaker 1: get a different deal done. When you and there's people
- 12:40Speaker 1: that are ignorant. They don't understand Johnson does not have
- 12:43Speaker 1: near as much power as you think when it comes
- 12:45Speaker 1: to counting, because you still have to count to two
- 12:48Speaker 1: eighteen to pass something, and Johnson was put in an
- 12:51Speaker 1: impossible situation. And one of the good things that came
- 12:54Speaker 1: out of Elon Musk's tweets and the Vicaramasom's tweets and
- 12:57Speaker 1: Donald Trump's tweets is that there was so much pressure
- 13:00Speaker 1: put on members of Congress to do the right thing
- 13:03Speaker 1: that that's what happened. This was not Speaker Johnson's fault.
- 13:06Speaker 1: And if you think that it is, you need to
- 13:08Speaker 1: understand how Washington works. And that's my job here is
- 13:11Speaker 1: to explain it to you. I also think that there
- 13:16Speaker 1: is a problem, and this is a storm that is
- 13:18Speaker 1: brewing because we're going to have a debt ceiling vote
- 13:21Speaker 1: going into next year. I don't like that, but this
- 13:23Speaker 1: is the best deal we apparently could get done at
- 13:25Speaker 1: the time, and you still have to be able to
- 13:28Speaker 1: count to two eighteen. Now Friday afternoon, for example, there
- 13:33Speaker 1: was a Republican representative from New York delivered the latest
- 13:37Speaker 1: blow to Johnson, walking into a House Republican conference being
- 13:40Speaker 1: to hash out another path forward and made clear that
- 13:43Speaker 1: she stands on Johnson's leadership or lack thereof, saying quote,
- 13:46Speaker 1: I don't know what's going on, and really that's part
- 13:49Speaker 1: of the problem, is what she said to reporters, adding
- 13:51Speaker 1: there has been quote zero communication from leadership to the membership.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Something should change before January third. So you can already
- 13:58Speaker 1: see Republicans are saying hey, and it's one or two
- 14:01Speaker 1: of them that can have this much power. This is
- 14:06Speaker 1: also an example of Representative Thomas Massey, Republican from Kentucky.
- 14:11Speaker 1: He's committed to voting against Johnson as well. Representative Rich McCormick,
- 14:15Speaker 1: a Republican from Georgia, said on Thursday he would oppose
- 14:18Speaker 1: Johnson if the vote were held today. When asked how
- 14:21Speaker 1: frustrating frustrated she was with Johnson, the congresswoman that I
- 14:25Speaker 1: mentioned a moment ago from New York answered, how does
- 14:29Speaker 1: it sound, referring to how mad she is? Now that's
- 14:33Speaker 1: three Republicans. Look at the majority. It's razor thin. I
- 14:38Speaker 1: will tell you right now, there is no one else
- 14:41Speaker 1: on the list to be Speaker of the House that
- 14:43Speaker 1: is as conservative and or as solid of a Christian
- 14:47Speaker 1: is Speaker Johnson. Okay, Speaker Johnson keeps getting put in
- 14:52Speaker 1: an impossible situation over and over and over and over
- 14:58Speaker 1: and over again. Put in to an impossible situation because
- 15:04Speaker 1: he has such a small window for success, and there
- 15:08Speaker 1: are so many liberals out there, an opportunists, I would argue,
- 15:12Speaker 1: in the Republican Party that can just straight up screw
- 15:15Speaker 1: with him whenever they want to. And that is one
- 15:18Speaker 1: of the biggest problems here, and that's why they're saying, ooh,
- 15:21Speaker 1: there's blood in the water. Oh, maybe we can get
- 15:23Speaker 1: rid of him. My question is careful what you wish for.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Who are you going to get? That's the question that
- 15:30Speaker 1: everybody needs to be asking who are you going to get? Now?
- 15:38Speaker 1: Representative Chip Roy, for example, asking the question today, sidestepping
- 15:43Speaker 1: the question over Trump's primary thread over the spending bill, saying, quote,
- 15:47Speaker 1: I'm not worried about the politics here. Take a listen, all.
- 15:51Speaker 3: Right for the very latest on all of this, Let's
- 15:53Speaker 3: bring in Texas Republican Congressman Chip Roy, who serves on
- 15:55Speaker 3: the House Budget Committee. So the meeting with the House
- 15:58Speaker 3: Republican Conference is still going on. I assume you were
- 16:01Speaker 3: there for a time. What's going on inside and are
- 16:04Speaker 3: we going to see a deal? Are we going to
- 16:06Speaker 3: see a vote? We're going to see a government shuts
- 16:08Speaker 3: down all options on the table. I don't know.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Hey, John, Hey Shannon.
- 16:13Speaker 4: Great to be on And yeah, the meeting is still
- 16:15Speaker 4: underway as we speak, and we're having a good conversation.
- 16:18Speaker 4: And look, President Trump is absolutely right. We need to
- 16:20Speaker 4: deal with the debt ceiling. We need to get it
- 16:22Speaker 4: off the table so that he can proceed to do
- 16:24Speaker 4: what he needs to do without Chuck Schumer rattling the
- 16:26Speaker 4: markets with threats of default. That's what Chuck Schumer has
- 16:29Speaker 4: said publicly and to people in the Senate he wants
- 16:32Speaker 4: to do so.
- 16:33Speaker 1: President Trump is right. The question is how we get there.
- 16:35Speaker 4: The first bill that was negotiated obviously was a non
- 16:38Speaker 4: starter once the American people saw everything that was in
- 16:42Speaker 4: five hundred and fifty pages.
- 16:43Speaker 1: So we've moved the needle forward to a better bill.
- 16:45Speaker 1: But it was a bill.
- 16:46Speaker 4: And you asked why did I oppose the bill last night?
- 16:48Speaker 4: Thirty eight Republicans opposed it was because it came with
- 16:52Speaker 4: two year extension of the debt ceiling, which would be
- 16:54Speaker 4: about five trillion dollar a lift in our credit card
- 16:57Speaker 4: without any structural spending reforms. Our position is, mister President,
- 17:02Speaker 4: we want to deliver for you on a debt ceiling
- 17:05Speaker 4: increase to get it out of the way. Chuck Schumer
- 17:07Speaker 4: can't abuse it, but we need spending restraints. So what
- 17:10Speaker 4: we've been doing for forty eight hours is meeting, meeting
- 17:13Speaker 4: with the Vice president, meeting with a lot of folks
- 17:15Speaker 4: in his incoming administration. I think we've got the outlines
- 17:18Speaker 4: of something that would work, but we're still discussing it
- 17:21Speaker 4: as we speak. I think we can get something done
- 17:24Speaker 4: that will make everybody happy.
- 17:25Speaker 1: We're working hard to do it.
- 17:27Speaker 3: Okay, Well, talk about the outlines in just a second,
- 17:29Speaker 3: and let me come back to this idea of the
- 17:30Speaker 3: debt ceiling and voting against the proposal the President Trump
- 17:34Speaker 3: was proposing and was getting behind. He was supporting it,
- 17:37Speaker 3: because he's now taking aim at you, saying that you
- 17:40Speaker 3: Chip Royer getting in the way of what he wants done,
- 17:42Speaker 3: and he's encouraging Republicans in Texas to primary.
- 17:45Speaker 1: You mean you've really poked the bear here. Yeah.
- 17:49Speaker 4: Look, at the end of the day, my job is
- 17:50Speaker 4: to honor God, my family, the Constitution, of voters, the voters.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Who sent me here. That is what drives me.
- 17:56Speaker 4: But I am working tirelessly to get what the president wants.
- 18:00Speaker 4: Think the president knows that at the end of the day,
- 18:02Speaker 4: look politics or politics. Rick Perry called President trumpet cancer
- 18:06Speaker 4: and then ended up in his cabinet. I'm not worried
- 18:08Speaker 4: about politics. I'm worried about the American people. I'm worried
- 18:11Speaker 4: about inflation. I'm worried about a five trillion dollars dead
- 18:14Speaker 4: sealing increase with no spending cuts. The President is rightly
- 18:17Speaker 4: motivated to block Chuck Schumer's abuse, but we Republicans here
- 18:21Speaker 4: in Congress, in the House, have an obligation to get
- 18:23Speaker 4: it done correctly. That's what we're working to try to
- 18:26Speaker 4: do on behalf of the President and our constituents and
- 18:29Speaker 4: our obligations under the Constitution.
- 18:31Speaker 3: All right, So let's look behind the curtain if we
- 18:34Speaker 3: could just a little bit, because our Aisha Husti tells
- 18:36Speaker 3: us that there's a couple of options being talked about
- 18:39Speaker 3: right now. One is a cr that will be coupled
- 18:41Speaker 3: with disasterrate and farm made. It would be effective through March.
- 18:45Speaker 3: It would be the vote would be on a suspension
- 18:48Speaker 3: of the rules which limits debate no amendments. Our option
- 18:51Speaker 3: number two is a CR disaster rate and farm made
- 18:54Speaker 3: is separate bills in separate votes. Which way do you
- 18:56Speaker 3: think is going to go?
- 18:58Speaker 4: Well, that is what is being debated as we speak.
- 19:00Speaker 4: And I don't want to get in front of the
- 19:01Speaker 4: speaker or my colleagues making news here or violate confidences
- 19:05Speaker 4: of a private meeting. But everything hinges on getting comfortable
- 19:09Speaker 4: with the outlines and the contours of spending restraint next
- 19:12Speaker 4: year in reconciliation as part of the agreement on how
- 19:16Speaker 4: much we can lift the debt ceiling. I think we're
- 19:18Speaker 4: getting comfortable with that outline as we speak, and then
- 19:21Speaker 4: if so, one of two things will happen. Either the
- 19:23Speaker 4: package last night without the debt ceiling attached to it
- 19:27Speaker 4: will move forward because the President is comfortable that we're
- 19:29Speaker 4: going to be able to get that done in January,
- 19:32Speaker 4: or there might be some standalone votes on a continual
- 19:35Speaker 4: resolution plus the farm bill extension of one year a separate.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Now you can hear there they're talking to him about
- 19:41Speaker 1: this vote. We know what happened, We understand this, but
- 19:44Speaker 1: I want you to notice now what the media has done.
- 19:48Speaker 1: They are now trying to turn these votes into civil
- 19:51Speaker 1: war within the Republican Party. Chip Roy's a good man,
- 19:56Speaker 1: he's a fiscal conservative, he's a Christian, he's a hard
- 20:00Speaker 1: fighter for our constitution, and he's somebody that I would
- 20:04Speaker 1: argue as a great member of Congress. I tell you
- 20:09Speaker 1: this tale to remind you to be careful to not
- 20:13Speaker 1: fall into the civil war idea within the Republican Party,
- 20:17Speaker 1: because this is what Democrats want. They want Donald Trump
- 20:20Speaker 1: angry to conservative hardcore member of Congress and being at
- 20:24Speaker 1: odds with one another. That is a problem. We do
- 20:27Speaker 1: not need to be in a civil war period. Many
- 20:32Speaker 1: of you may be doing your last minute Christmas shopping
- 20:35Speaker 1: and I want you to understand what we have just
- 20:37Speaker 1: found out about. Major corporations including Kia TJ Max listed
- 20:45Speaker 1: as corporate sponsors of the Rainbow Library pushing trans books
- 20:51Speaker 1: on your children. The retailers TJ Max and the automaker
- 20:57Speaker 1: Kia are listed as co spon munsters of a program
- 21:01Speaker 1: that is distributing the LGBTQ themed books to k through
- 21:06Speaker 1: twelve schools across the United States. This according to a
- 21:10Speaker 1: Wednesday report from the conservative nonprofit Consumer Research obtained by
- 21:15Speaker 1: the Daily Caller News Foundation. Now, the initiative titled the
- 21:21Speaker 1: Rainbow Library is run by national LGBTQ plus activist organization,
- 21:29Speaker 1: the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network known as GLSEN.
- 21:36Speaker 1: What does it do It sends participating teachers books that
- 21:41Speaker 1: push transgenderism and homosexuality onto kids as young as five.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Over eight thousand, one hundred schools in thirty three different
- 21:52Speaker 1: states nationwide are now participating in the program. Meaning there's
- 21:57Speaker 1: a very good chance that your kids, are grandkids are
- 22:00Speaker 1: at a public school where this is actually in the
- 22:03Speaker 1: library system and being used in the classroom. Now, let
- 22:09Speaker 1: me read you this quote. TJ Max and KIA are
- 22:13Speaker 1: pushing radical gender ideology on kids through their sponsorship of
- 22:18Speaker 1: the g LSEEN Rainbow Network, which promotes transgender ideology and
- 22:23Speaker 1: classrooms across the country through books and recommended lesson plans
- 22:28Speaker 1: for teachers. So it's not just the books are available,
- 22:31Speaker 1: it is actual lesson plans for the teachers to then
- 22:35Speaker 1: follow to then indoctrinate your children. That is what Will Hoild,
- 22:40Speaker 1: Executive director of Consumer Research, set and a statement. By
- 22:44Speaker 1: sponsoring organizations with a political activist agenda like this organization
- 22:50Speaker 1: in the Rainbow Library, these companies are putting woke politics
- 22:56Speaker 1: specifically ahead of their consumer base. In other word, words,
- 23:00Speaker 1: TJ Max and kir are hoping that you won't find
- 23:03Speaker 1: out that this is what they are involved in. Now
- 23:06Speaker 1: here's something else that you need to understand as well.
- 23:09Speaker 1: A spokesman for Kia has come out understanding that they
- 23:12Speaker 1: have walked into a major problem, and they have denied
- 23:16Speaker 1: in a statement that the auto company sponsored the Rainbow
- 23:20Speaker 1: Library in twenty twenty three or twenty twenty four, but
- 23:24Speaker 1: they did not respond to further inquiries about why it
- 23:27Speaker 1: was prominently displayed as a sponsor on the GLSN website.
- 23:36Speaker 1: I am looking at the website. It is there right now,
- 23:39Speaker 1: and I'm going to tell you even more about this
- 23:41Speaker 1: in a moment. But first I want to tell you
- 23:44Speaker 1: about Patriot Mobile. If you are like me and you
- 23:47Speaker 1: are tired of giving your money to organizations that are
- 23:51Speaker 1: fighting against your conservative and Christian values, then you really
- 23:54Speaker 1: need to look at your cell phone bill. You may
- 23:57Speaker 1: not realize that the Big Mobile four years has been
- 24:01Speaker 1: giving big donations to democratic causes, candidates and radical organizations.
- 24:09Speaker 1: I'm talking about organizations that are paying for abortions on demand.
- 24:14Speaker 1: That's not all the Big Mobile has been giving donations
- 24:17Speaker 1: to organizations that also are in favor of defunding the police.
- 24:21Speaker 1: And that's another reason why you need to know where
- 24:24Speaker 1: your cash is going, and that's why you need to
- 24:27Speaker 1: switch to Patriot Mobile. Now, Patriot Mobile, I'm proud to
- 24:30Speaker 1: say I'm a customer. I get the same great coverage
- 24:33Speaker 1: that I was used to before with Big Mobile. But
- 24:35Speaker 1: when I made the switch, I knew I was making
- 24:37Speaker 1: a difference every time I made a phone call, every
- 24:39Speaker 1: time I sent a text, and every time I paid
- 24:41Speaker 1: my bill. Because a Patriot Mobile, about five percent of
- 24:44Speaker 1: your bill every month is going to go back at
- 24:47Speaker 1: no extra cost to you, to organizations that are fighting
- 24:51Speaker 1: for our First and our Second Amendment rights, that are
- 24:54Speaker 1: fighting for the sanctity of life, that are helping with adoptions.
- 24:59Speaker 1: And then they also good money to our military, our
- 25:01Speaker 1: first responder heroes, and our wounded warriors. So you can
- 25:05Speaker 1: take a stand. Every time you pay a bill. You're
- 25:07Speaker 1: gonna have a cell phone bill, why not be with
- 25:09Speaker 1: a company that's fighting for your values. You're gonna get
- 25:12Speaker 1: the same cover you used too. Because Patriot Mobile operates
- 25:15Speaker 1: across all three major networks, you'll have zero issues there
- 25:19Speaker 1: and they even have a coverage guarantee. Call them or
- 25:23Speaker 1: go online. I'm gonna give you a month free right
- 25:25Speaker 1: now Patriot Mobile dot com slash ben that's Patriot Mobile
- 25:30Speaker 1: dot com slash ben. Or you can call the nine
- 25:34Speaker 1: to seven to two Patriot that's nine seven to two
- 25:36Speaker 1: Patriot right now and get a free month when you
- 25:39Speaker 1: use the offer code Ben. That's Patriot Mobile dot com
- 25:44Speaker 1: slash ben. All right, now, let's go back to the
- 25:48Speaker 1: books for a moment, because this is what you need
- 25:52Speaker 1: to understand, uh about these companies and what they're doing.
- 25:56Speaker 1: When you go and shop at Tjmac slash Marshals, or
- 25:59Speaker 1: you go and buy Kiya Kar, I want you to
- 26:01Speaker 1: understand just how extreme they are in pushing transgenderism on
- 26:06Speaker 1: your kids or your grandkids. One of the books distributed
- 26:10Speaker 1: by Rainbow Library is titled When Aiden Becomes a Brother.
- 26:16Speaker 1: It tells the story of a black girl who becomes
- 26:21Speaker 1: or comes out as, quote unquote transgender and quote explores
- 26:26Speaker 1: plural different ways of being a boy. The GLSN recommends
- 26:34Speaker 1: the story as part of its lesson plan for second graders.
- 26:39Speaker 1: According to the Rainbow Library website, The program also instructs
- 26:44Speaker 1: the educators to keep it confidential, in other words, hide
- 26:49Speaker 1: it from the parents, right so that we can help
- 26:52Speaker 1: indoctor nate this kid. I said it. Moms were going
- 26:55Speaker 1: to go back to going to Target, even after the
- 27:00Speaker 1: radical agenda of Target to have like tucking swimsuits for
- 27:05Speaker 1: toddlers and binding swimsuits for young girls. And I said,
- 27:12Speaker 1: you watch, There'll be some moms that will stop going
- 27:15Speaker 1: to Target for a little bit, but the majority are
- 27:17Speaker 1: going to come back. And that's why Target is still
- 27:20Speaker 1: giving two thousand, three thousand, four thousand, whatever the number
- 27:23Speaker 1: is of square feet to their stores for hardcore LGBTQIA
- 27:28Speaker 1: and doctor Nation and support during the summer months. And
- 27:33Speaker 1: I was right. You look at the stock value of Target,
- 27:36Speaker 1: you look at their sales numbers. They came down a
- 27:39Speaker 1: little bit after that controversy, and then after the controversy
- 27:44Speaker 1: kind of moved on to other things. What ended up happening.
- 27:47Speaker 1: They moved on, folks, They moved on and they went
- 27:52Speaker 1: right back to shopping. Many mothers did because Target's just
- 27:55Speaker 1: so convenient, and people are like, I don't want to
- 27:57Speaker 1: go to Walmart, so I'll go to Target. And that
- 27:59Speaker 1: is now where we are. Don't forget Share this podcast
