- 2:18Speaker 1: You know you never know? Can I tell you the truth?
- 2:20Speaker 1: You know, when I first got into radio, a lot
- 2:23Speaker 1: of my friends and associates, Ah, they started spreading the
- 2:29Speaker 1: rum with it. You know, Steve done he out You
- 2:32Speaker 1: know he ain't on TV. He you know, he ain't
- 2:36Speaker 1: trying to do movies out here. He didn't fell off.
- 2:40Speaker 1: He had DJ and uh, you know we're get back
- 2:44Speaker 1: because eventually somebody's gonna say yes, someone so sad you
- 2:47Speaker 1: wasn't doing good. You all right? You know, I've never
- 2:50Speaker 1: felt like I wasn't all right, But that's that's other people.
- 2:54Speaker 1: But what they didn't know, and what I didn't really
- 2:57Speaker 1: really know, I was hoping. I felt comfortable about it.
- 3:02Speaker 1: But what they did not know was God's plan for me.
- 3:05Speaker 1: What they did not know that what God was gonna
- 3:07Speaker 1: do for me. What they didn't know, but how God
- 3:10Speaker 1: was gonna show out for me. And so it's turned
- 3:13Speaker 1: into this. I don't I don't rub it in anybody's face.
- 3:18Speaker 1: I don't say, hey, you see me now, But it
- 3:20Speaker 1: just makes me understand a little bit more. It really
- 3:22Speaker 1: ain't mad as God, as you and God. It's just
- 3:25Speaker 1: you and God. So here's a deal to day I want.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I wanted to kind of go over something people ask
- 3:31Speaker 1: me all the time. They say, Steve, how do you
- 3:33Speaker 1: do all the things you do in the course of
- 3:36Speaker 1: a day. You do this, you do this, you do this,
- 3:38Speaker 1: and you do this. Okay, you're ready. Here's a secret.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Here's the secret. This is this I'm not This is
- 3:44Speaker 1: not fooling around or nothing. Here is the thing I
- 3:48Speaker 1: care about every minute of the day. I actually allcate
- 3:57Speaker 1: every minute of the day I have a playing that
- 4:00Speaker 1: I'm I recognized the night before, the week before, the
- 4:05Speaker 1: month before, the year before, the two years before. I
- 4:10Speaker 1: got something I want to accomplish in three years, in
- 4:13Speaker 1: five years, and ten years. I talk about it all
- 4:16Speaker 1: the time. But but when you break it down, like
- 4:18Speaker 1: I always say, inch by inch anything that since, I
- 4:21Speaker 1: got it broken down to what's gonna happen tomorrow, and
- 4:25Speaker 1: I've even got it broken down to what's going to
- 4:27Speaker 1: happen every hour that I'm awake, And then I break
- 4:32Speaker 1: that even down a little bit further. I care about
- 4:35Speaker 1: every minute of the day. Okay, Steve, how can you
- 4:38Speaker 1: care about every minute today? Okay, here's the deal. Some
- 4:42Speaker 1: people have it locked in their mind that I'm gonna
- 4:47Speaker 1: get up, I'm gonna go to work, and when I
- 4:50Speaker 1: get off work, as soon as I get off work,
- 4:53Speaker 1: I'm gonna go to happy hour, I'm gonna stop by
- 4:56Speaker 1: the ball, I'm gonna go buy the club, I'm gonna
- 4:59Speaker 1: get a bill, I'm gonna do one. I'm gonna chill. Okay, Now,
- 5:03Speaker 1: let me ask yourself, if you are not where you
- 5:07Speaker 1: want to be in life, why are you chilling all
- 5:11Speaker 1: the time? Every day is that necessary. Is that gonna
- 5:18Speaker 1: get you where you want to be any faster? Or
- 5:21Speaker 1: does it move you any closer? And the answer is
- 5:24Speaker 1: just flat out and no. Let me give you an
- 5:26Speaker 1: example of what I'm talking about. Let's say you have
- 5:28Speaker 1: a trip that you're gonna take. Let's say you in
- 5:32Speaker 1: New York and you want to go to California. I
- 5:36Speaker 1: don't know exactly how many miles that is to three
- 5:39Speaker 1: thousand miles something like that. I don't know how many
- 5:42Speaker 1: days that I actually take you, but I think three days,
- 5:46Speaker 1: four tops of steady driving. You know rest, you know
- 5:50Speaker 1: where you got to, but you can be there in
- 5:53Speaker 1: three days if you drive. Why would you have a
- 5:57Speaker 1: goal to go to New York? From New York to
- 6:01Speaker 1: l A realizing how many miles it is? Somebody then
- 6:05Speaker 1: told you, because see whatever you trying to be, somebody
- 6:07Speaker 1: had been that before you. Now somebody told you how
- 6:10Speaker 1: many miles it was to there? And why would you
- 6:14Speaker 1: get off on all the rest stops? Why would you
- 6:18Speaker 1: get off to have ice cream every time you see
- 6:21Speaker 1: the ice creams? Why would you get off at the
- 6:23Speaker 1: food center every time you saw food? So why would
- 6:27Speaker 1: you get off for gas every time you saw the
- 6:31Speaker 1: gas sign. You don't need gas every time you see
- 6:35Speaker 1: the gas sign. You ain't got to have the ice
- 6:37Speaker 1: cream sign just because they put it out there. And
- 6:40Speaker 1: you ain't got to stop at the fast food restaurant
- 6:43Speaker 1: just because it's at the next exit two exits down
- 6:46Speaker 1: and the billboards attractive to you. If you're going somewhere,
- 6:50Speaker 1: why don't you go ahead and get there? See too
- 6:53Speaker 1: many times, man, people want to stop at the rest area,
- 6:56Speaker 1: enjoy the sights, look at the scenery. Now. I'm not
- 6:59Speaker 1: saying you're not supposed to enjoy life as you go along,
- 7:02Speaker 1: But if you ain't where you wanna be, why don't
- 7:04Speaker 1: you go on and get there? See you, you you cannot.
- 7:08Speaker 1: You cannot keep playing all the time and expect to
- 7:12Speaker 1: see the results. You've got to get committed to what
- 7:15Speaker 1: you want. Look, man, this life will be whatever you
- 7:18Speaker 1: want to make it to be. You know, if you
- 7:20Speaker 1: don't have no you look around and you ain't got nothing. Hey, man,
- 7:24Speaker 1: it really ain't nobody's fault. Now, But if you're not
- 7:27Speaker 1: where you wanna be, why don't you go on and
- 7:28Speaker 1: get there. Stop resting all the time. You don't need
- 7:32Speaker 1: to chill every day, be about your business man, have
- 7:36Speaker 1: a sense of urgency about yourself, your future, your legacy,
- 7:39Speaker 1: your children, the people are responsible, but that the you know,
- 7:43Speaker 1: the people you're responsible for, developed a sense of urgency here.
- 7:46Speaker 1: You just cannot, I repeat, you cannot just lollygag your
- 7:52Speaker 1: way through life and then look up. Now you fought
- 7:55Speaker 1: a fifty sixty and you ain't got nothing you set up.
- 7:58Speaker 1: You're going wow, man, But look back at your life
- 8:00Speaker 1: and all the years you toasted. I mean, you cook
- 8:05Speaker 1: some years doing nothing. Oh man, how many times man,
- 8:09Speaker 1: have we done this to yourself? Because I did it
- 8:12Speaker 1: to me. I spent all of my thirties making up
- 8:17Speaker 1: for my twenties. I spent all I spent thirty one,
- 8:24Speaker 1: three four, five day and six or something eight thirty
- 8:26Speaker 1: nine for that, I spent all ten of them years
- 8:31Speaker 1: making up for my twenties. Man, if I only knew
- 8:34Speaker 1: then what I know now? How many times you didn't
- 8:37Speaker 1: said that? If you're not where you trying to get to,
- 8:40Speaker 1: why aren't you gone and get there? Come on, man,
- 8:43Speaker 1: put your head down by your head and grind. Now.
- 8:49Speaker 1: People say, well, what about sleep? Okay, let's let's let's
- 8:52Speaker 1: quickly cover this right here. For people who cared very
- 8:56Speaker 1: deeply about sleep. You're not going to be successful. Sleep
- 9:02Speaker 1: cannot mean more than being awake when you sleep. Man, well,
- 9:10Speaker 1: what about your rest? Get your rest. I'm not saying
- 9:12Speaker 1: you're not supposed to rest, but you ain't got to
- 9:15Speaker 1: sleep eight hours a day. You ain't got to sleep
- 9:17Speaker 1: ten hours a day. You ain't gotta be in bed
- 9:20Speaker 1: at ten and up at eight. You ain't got to
- 9:22Speaker 1: do that. Man, your party don't need ten hours sleep.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Your body really don't need eight hours sleep, quiet as
- 9:27Speaker 1: it's kept. Let me, let me tell you the truth.
- 9:29Speaker 1: If you ain't where you wanna be, why don't you
- 9:32Speaker 1: go on and get that. You ain't gonna get that sleep.
- 9:35Speaker 1: I don't care what people tell you. Look, man, they
- 9:36Speaker 1: would look. You can talk to a bunch of non
- 9:38Speaker 1: successful people if you want to. They got a whole
- 9:41Speaker 1: lot of rules for you that don't make no sense.
- 9:44Speaker 1: You know you gotta have a plan. B who told
- 9:48Speaker 1: you that? You know? Sutinly you gotta have eight to
- 9:52Speaker 1: ten hours sleep. Okay, look at what they have. Now,
- 9:57Speaker 1: listen to them. If they have what you wanna have,
- 9:59Speaker 1: listen to them. If your boss is in the car
- 10:02Speaker 1: that you want to follow your boss home one day.
- 10:05Speaker 1: If he's in the car you've always dreamed of being here,
- 10:07Speaker 1: If he pulls up at the house you've always dreamed
- 10:10Speaker 1: of owning, then that's where you need to be. But
- 10:14Speaker 1: guess what, he's not gonna hire you over him. He's
- 10:18Speaker 1: not gonna let you have his job. So when you
- 10:20Speaker 1: think that position available, but if that ain't the car
- 10:23Speaker 1: you always dreamed of having, and that ain't the car,
- 10:26Speaker 1: and that excuse me, and that ain't the house you
- 10:28Speaker 1: want to pull up in for the rest of your life,
- 10:30Speaker 1: you got to move on, man. You got to get
- 10:32Speaker 1: to where you're going. If you ain't where you wanna be,
- 10:34Speaker 1: why don't you going and get that? Stop resting and
- 10:36Speaker 1: chilling man, and can concentrate on grinding quick caring about
- 10:40Speaker 1: sleep so much, and just get yourself some rest and
- 10:43Speaker 1: then get back up and get at it. That's how
- 10:46Speaker 1: you get it, folks. If you got another way, please
- 10:49Speaker 1: email me Steve Harvey dot com. The email bag is open.
- 10:52Speaker 1: I'm always interested in here another way where I could

- 13:51Speaker 1: you for the truth. Cut the rest your law. This
- 13:59Speaker 1: past Friday, you were in the hands down, you couldn't
- 14:05Speaker 1: shake it. And can I tell you something. I was
- 14:08Speaker 1: a family because I got I worked sadly Friday inst
- 14:13Speaker 1: M and the lady asked me that said, you know,
- 14:16Speaker 1: I take questions from the audience, And the lady said, Steve,
- 14:19Speaker 1: how do you maintain and keep going when there's so
- 14:23Speaker 1: much negativity swirling around you, and I just said, hey,
- 14:27Speaker 1: you know, I'm covered and protected. I don't concern myself
- 14:31Speaker 1: with it too much. I said, but it I'm fine, actually,
- 14:35Speaker 1: And it gave me a chance to talk about the memo.

- 14:47Speaker 1: All right, Welcome back, everybody, Welcome back to the show.
- 14:50Speaker 1: The barbershop is a little little different today. You ain't
- 14:53Speaker 1: nobody to barbershop except the owner of cut Moles or
- 14:58Speaker 1: Big Mole and his boy Earl oh Errol coming there
- 15:03Speaker 1: or Earl don't ever get a hair cut? What Earl
- 15:08Speaker 1: don't get to hell? Cut Errol just come down there
- 15:10Speaker 1: at the barbomshop because he don't want to be home. Oh,
- 15:16Speaker 1: so the conversation again. We are in the barbershop. Welcome
- 15:20Speaker 1: to cut Bold. That what's up man? You know everything
- 15:26Speaker 1: going on? Welcome to cut Mode where we could we
- 15:29Speaker 1: call it cut mode cause we cutt mo hell than
- 15:32Speaker 1: anybody else. Absolutely happy, got more head than anybody. You've
- 15:36Speaker 1: been here a long time, man. You know what some
- 15:38Speaker 1: of my show him you know mold, you know you
- 15:41Speaker 1: know my daddy was mo or Less and my grandfather
- 15:47Speaker 1: was more than that, you know, moling that moless and
- 15:52Speaker 1: jet Mode and Yanti had him over with which because
- 15:57Speaker 1: she's a cut head of hand too. She was a haircutter.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Like so many things going on, you know. Anyway, we
- 16:06Speaker 1: were working to coote moves. What's going on? Man? Everything
- 16:10Speaker 1: going on? I just you know, I don't want to
- 16:12Speaker 1: be home. That's why I'm here. You know. I ain't
- 16:15Speaker 1: got no help on my head at all. And I
- 16:18Speaker 1: didn't come to head just to get away from my wife,
- 16:22Speaker 1: you know, just to have some peace. And why this
- 16:25Speaker 1: is a place you can come and sit down and
- 16:27Speaker 1: watch other people get their heads cut. That's a that's
- 16:31Speaker 1: a joy to me watch and the and they had
- 16:35Speaker 1: the memories go in my mind about high back in
- 16:38Speaker 1: the day, I used to sit in that chair and
- 16:40Speaker 1: another thing by these chairs. Uh mo, I need to
- 16:43Speaker 1: ask you a pleasant question. Sis putting the question, putting
- 16:47Speaker 1: the question, I need to ask you more more putting
- 16:51Speaker 1: the question the go ahead. I need to ask your
- 16:54Speaker 1: putting the credit. First of all, that liquid you stick
- 16:57Speaker 1: them comes in? What is that I need to know
- 16:59Speaker 1: about that? Look with it? That's listen to Yeah, that's blue.
- 17:06Speaker 1: What you call that blue? You put that down there
- 17:08Speaker 1: to dis infecta disaffecta cone. So when I called one
- 17:13Speaker 1: head and touch another head of different, it has already
- 17:16Speaker 1: been disinfected. You get combing head, stick that in there
- 17:20Speaker 1: and they clean all that out. All that's out right there.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Whatever you stroke in the head and you put in
- 17:28Speaker 1: that liquid, that's that's all is to it. What I
- 17:31Speaker 1: haven't told you, it's just magical. Huh. She think about you?
- 17:36Speaker 1: If the conversation go way longer than they need to,
- 17:39Speaker 1: I just told you what it would. I need to
- 17:41Speaker 1: ask one more. That way, we're only gonna cover one
- 17:44Speaker 1: subject down here and cut movies. If you stay on
- 17:47Speaker 1: the damn blue water, I'm trying to add one more questions.
- 17:50Speaker 1: What I act like you? I've never seen you. I
- 17:53Speaker 1: ain't never seen you. Put fresh liquid in there. That's there.
- 18:04Speaker 1: You're still talking about the damn blue wall. You ain't
- 18:08Speaker 1: little that you change the question, don't mean to change
- 18:10Speaker 1: the subject. I got another one, told about something else,
- 18:15Speaker 1: told about something told about something else. You told about
- 18:18Speaker 1: something else. You know I don't have to come down
- 18:20Speaker 1: here playing challengence. Everybody know you ain't got to come
- 18:29Speaker 1: down here. What you got to do is move the
- 18:31Speaker 1: damn conversation on, because this bit ain't but four damn minutes. Now.
- 18:36Speaker 1: That's what we're gonna have to do. There's another question
- 18:43Speaker 1: to question, the question, when is he gonna get some
- 18:48Speaker 1: new chairs here, hero, Listen to me, we've talked about
- 18:52Speaker 1: and over the chairs is classics. They're not going nowhere.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Listen to my my granddaddy Molding that had him, my
- 19:04Speaker 1: father mo Less had him. Now I'm just Mold. I
- 19:08Speaker 1: got the same chick. You know people that have been
- 19:10Speaker 1: in there and they had their hair cut up in here.
- 19:12Speaker 1: It'd be just greatness up in here. Because mar Louis
- 19:15Speaker 1: King hand Hill, come in here. King, my daddy cut
- 19:22Speaker 1: right now. We cut Abernavia hol Yeah, we got to
- 19:27Speaker 1: my my mom, my grandfather Molding that cut Frederick Douglas
- 19:32Speaker 1: throat right in the same damn chill. And you have
- 19:39Speaker 1: Bob shot back then. Even your black people got their
- 19:42Speaker 1: hair cut. Shirt. Ain't tell me one time two other
- 19:48Speaker 1: disciples came up hit their heads. That lets me, John
- 19:53Speaker 1: the Baptist got their hair cut in here right for
- 19:56Speaker 1: I got it here to go. Carol, that's a haircut.
- 20:05Speaker 1: That's a hair cut and then got your head cut.
- 20:07Speaker 1: Come on, that's when haircut was a nickel. I remember that.
- 20:13Speaker 1: Thank you, you know, you know, I'm so glad we've
- 20:15Speaker 1: got somebody here back all this stuff up, so now
- 20:18Speaker 1: we're in here. That that been some great cut. He
- 20:21Speaker 1: had some of the greatest cuts up in this bobby shop.
- 20:24Speaker 1: I'll tell you another thing. I'll tell you that I
- 20:26Speaker 1: cut jacket hell, and that that was a real treat
- 20:30Speaker 1: jacket Jackson. Oh hell, that boy had to throt there
- 20:36Speaker 1: cold and throw into Jackson, falling the jackeon five. I
- 20:39Speaker 1: would have hoping Michael will come through here, but then
- 20:41Speaker 1: we got that curl that killing I don't want. They
- 20:46Speaker 1: won't do it in here. We'll do curl coming here
- 20:49Speaker 1: like a man, and some hair cut with you press
- 20:51Speaker 1: your hair like a litt girl. We can't coming to here.
- 20:54Speaker 1: This is cut mold, not not not die mold. It's
- 20:58Speaker 1: Carol mold, per mo. We we cut cut up in hill.
- 21:07Speaker 1: You know what they are going on, earl man, I
- 21:09Speaker 1: tell him, and the thing about that, like but you
- 21:12Speaker 1: keeps all the old pictures up on the wall. You're
- 21:15Speaker 1: the old entertainers. You got ton up on the col Yeah,
- 21:19Speaker 1: when the show with just showing that you know, there's
- 21:22Speaker 1: people that love like you don't take pitture down and
- 21:25Speaker 1: you don't take like picture. You don't take pitch down. No,
- 21:30Speaker 1: don't tell you you gotta hate him. You hate him
- 21:32Speaker 1: if you won't to. But that where you got a haircut.
- 21:40Speaker 1: Sammon Davis got his hair cut over toil. They start
- 21:43Speaker 1: running with the red pack and got his hair perm
- 21:46Speaker 1: thought it were white and then we quit. You know,
- 21:48Speaker 1: chamber was always good to get rid of him and
- 21:52Speaker 1: white people sitting outside waiting on him, and that was
- 21:54Speaker 1: just problems right there. All that was done. It shows
- 22:00Speaker 1: go down here, cut moved, you know, just learning the
- 22:02Speaker 1: history of the ball shop a good too. You know,
- 22:04Speaker 1: you're just finding out who all been in here? In
- 22:08Speaker 1: here one last more we did. We cut one woman's hand.
- 22:12Speaker 1: Heire Harrod Tubby. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Hey,
- 22:23Speaker 1: y'all coming up, miss saying I'll be here okay. Now,
- 22:30Speaker 1: it's just everything that discussed the situation with my girl.
- 22:35Speaker 1: I love mo Man. I'm trying to stay with you,
- 22:38Speaker 1: but we got She's not apologetic. It sounds like, well
- 22:42Speaker 1: I can't what if you came with faded What was that?
- 22:51Speaker 1: What was that, Steve? What you're saying, man, we need
- 22:55Speaker 1: somebody we can't hold a company line on that? You
- 23:01Speaker 1: just go statement, I love real friends of mine. I
- 23:10Speaker 1: think my girl too. I love Monique Man. I try
- 23:13Speaker 1: to ride a guy with all the way. But we
- 23:16Speaker 1: we got to make a polishing been on TV with
- 23:18Speaker 1: a huband I just saw that. I wun't we talking
- 23:22Speaker 1: about that right now? It's a new segment called am
- 23:25Speaker 1: I Being Petty? So you just want to know is
- 23:29Speaker 1: situation going on in your life? Are you being petty
- 23:32Speaker 1: about it? Jay? Where you at with this? Okay? I
- 23:36Speaker 1: go to my friend's house. They got a nice big
- 23:39Speaker 1: screen television, huge watching when watching the movie, And sometimes
- 23:44Speaker 1: when you watch a movie, you don't hear what the
- 23:45Speaker 1: person says, so you say, could you rewind that? And
- 23:50Speaker 1: he says, rewind is five dollars extra? So yeah it is?
- 23:55Speaker 1: It comes, Yeah, it comes to read the cable companies
- 23:58Speaker 1: charge you extra for to So he says, I don't
- 24:01Speaker 1: have that, So well I left because I don't like
- 24:05Speaker 1: I just can't sit and watch television with somebody who
- 24:09Speaker 1: don't have rewind. It's an insult. It just no seriously,
- 24:13Speaker 1: it messes up my spirit. And yeah, am I being
- 24:18Speaker 1: all I'm asking? Is am I being packed? Yes? Yes,
- 24:23Speaker 1: I don't understand who was who charging all the rewards?
- 24:26Speaker 1: The cable charged extra. If you have rewind, you can
- 24:30Speaker 1: need to watch the program. Yes, it is wonder my
- 24:33Speaker 1: cable bill is so okay, okay. So my girlfriend, you
- 24:42Speaker 1: guys know her, Tracy through a fiftieth birthday party for
- 24:45Speaker 1: a husband's Saturday night. So Nesta and I went. We
- 24:47Speaker 1: got all dressed up and went. You know, of course
- 24:50Speaker 1: they have food and everything. Why is it everywhere we
- 24:53Speaker 1: go Nesto piles his plate when he goes. I mean
- 24:58Speaker 1: it piles his plate to the sea. More than it's
- 25:01Speaker 1: just I mean it's embarrassing. Does he eat? Yes, and
- 25:06Speaker 1: then he goes back for seconds. I think he's hungry.
- 25:09Speaker 1: And so this time he asked me could I go
- 25:13Speaker 1: get dessert? I just got up and just went and
- 25:16Speaker 1: got in the car. I was ready to Yes, I
- 25:23Speaker 1: just left. I was that was embarrassing, do you know?
- 25:30Speaker 1: I mean he had all they had, you know, like
- 25:32Speaker 1: a Mexican food spread, they had top nic. I mean
- 25:37Speaker 1: it was really really nice. But I mean he's got
- 25:39Speaker 1: to come on now being really, I was in the car.
- 25:44Speaker 1: I was in the car and it was going. I
- 25:47Speaker 1: had started. I started the car up. Okay, okay, Patty, yeah,
- 25:56Speaker 1: sorry in my blood py come on the day probably
- 26:01Speaker 1: come over the other day was Mother's Day and the
- 26:06Speaker 1: grandkids came over and I was eating a pint of
- 26:10Speaker 1: hogging dogs and little Noah he walks up and he's
- 26:19Speaker 1: seen me, so he go. So I put a little
- 26:24Speaker 1: bit in his mouth. His sister Rose must know the
- 26:27Speaker 1: tone of so she heard it. She came around there.
- 26:32Speaker 1: She's not in front of me, Papa, I cree because
- 26:35Speaker 1: she could talk a little bit. So I give her
- 26:37Speaker 1: a little bit of ice cream. Morgan's daughter Ale, she's
- 26:41Speaker 1: looking for Rose. She see the ice cream lines. She
- 26:44Speaker 1: get it. So now I ain't got to hold point
- 26:49Speaker 1: to myself no more, which was my plan. I'm not
- 26:53Speaker 1: sharing this ice cream, but three of my grandkids and
- 26:57Speaker 1: I didn't want to. So what I did was to
- 27:01Speaker 1: stop him. After about folk bites each, you know, my
- 27:04Speaker 1: pipe starting to get away from it. So I figured
- 27:07Speaker 1: the best way to get him away from me, as
- 27:10Speaker 1: I took a big glob of it and stuck it
- 27:13Speaker 1: in Nora's mouth. A big glob and put it in
- 27:16Speaker 1: as mouth and a big glob and put it in
- 27:19Speaker 1: uh rose mouth and gave all them brain free. Yes, yes, something.
- 27:30Speaker 1: So they were trying to work out that's severe things
- 27:35Speaker 1: between the e and they just got on away from
- 27:38Speaker 1: me and I finished heat and I'm just trying to
- 27:39Speaker 1: figure out without being petty. Yes, yes he was. He
- 27:47Speaker 1: was being petty. Your plan was to eat as can
- 27:51Speaker 1: buy yourself, right, that's what you wanted. That's what all
- 27:54Speaker 1: you want it now? He a baby? Okay, fact that
- 28:03Speaker 1: against me? I love that. Okay, I got one, y'all. Okay,
- 28:13Speaker 1: So Steve, yes, we're being petty. Okay, let me ask you.
- 28:16Speaker 1: Am I being petty? So you know how it is?
- 28:18Speaker 1: You know we got friends, you know, different levels of living, lifestyle.
- 28:22Speaker 1: Let's just say so my girl she called me. She's
- 28:25Speaker 1: been hurrying. Man, they've been budgeting and playing and they
- 28:28Speaker 1: got a pool. They got a pool. They was like that.
- 28:33Speaker 1: She didn't want me to see it till it was time.
- 28:35Speaker 1: Everything was ready. So she's like, come on, girl, let's
- 28:38Speaker 1: sit outside on the deck, have a glass of wine.
- 28:41Speaker 1: Chop it up, catch up, girl, I'm on my wake,
- 28:43Speaker 1: got over there. Do y'all know I walked outside. This
- 28:48Speaker 1: girl got an above ground pool. No, you're not being
- 28:52Speaker 1: you're not being fetty, She say, you're not. I would
- 29:01Speaker 1: saying something about me calling I'm climbing over the wall
- 29:05Speaker 1: to get wall Steve, Come on, what I'm doing. I'm
- 29:14Speaker 1: playing down to try to get your n over into
- 29:19Speaker 1: I'm not climbing wall. You feel me? You feel me
- 29:26Speaker 1: is down on that one. I got to climb over.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Everybody see your backsack getting the pool? She was like, Shirlette,
- 29:37Speaker 1: daddy at all, see what people in the bub brown
- 29:41Speaker 1: pools need to do? What that needs to be said?
- 29:44Speaker 1: On the phone? I have and above? Would you like
- 29:51Speaker 1: the climb in? So right? So she she's looking at
- 30:00Speaker 1: we got the wide glasses, the wide bottom. Let's just
- 30:06Speaker 1: go inside. I don't want to set outside with boos
- 30:09Speaker 1: and stuff. I didn't know what to say, okay by
- 30:11Speaker 1: being petty, Yes, you're not, you're not being patty. I'm
- 30:16Speaker 1: can see the manufacturing name on the booth, Marco get marcle.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Hell no that's what it is. He said, I'm not climbing.
- 30:32Speaker 1: I knew he would see it. My way. I gotta
- 30:35Speaker 1: get my leg up over my shoulder I don't have
- 30:39Speaker 1: a bool and I don't have I'm feel the same
- 30:43Speaker 1: way I don't, but when I get one, it will
- 30:47Speaker 1: be ground doing. Yes, I told myself my growing trying
- 30:59Speaker 1: to get it. I told myself, all right, when we
- 31:06Speaker 1: come back, we'll talk about Monique. It's still the news.
- 31:09Speaker 1: We'll be back. You're listening to stew all right, Steve,
- 31:31Speaker 1: This Monique story seems to have grown legs, and she
- 31:36Speaker 1: won't be issuing and any apologies to Lee Daniels, to
- 31:41Speaker 1: Oprah or Tyler Perry, and she's not afraid of any
- 31:43Speaker 1: further backlash she gets for simply saying what's true in
- 31:48Speaker 1: her eyes. Monique and her husband Sidney Hicks told TMZ
- 31:51Speaker 1: yesterday that they believe Oprah and Tyler participated in Lee
- 31:55Speaker 1: Daniel's campaign to labor label her difficult to work with
- 31:59Speaker 1: on set. They all three had a stake in the
- 32:02Speaker 1: movie Precious. She wanted to make it clear, even though
- 32:06Speaker 1: she was doing a comedy stand up special at the
- 32:08Speaker 1: Apollo Theater over the weekend, that she was dead serious
- 32:11Speaker 1: about these allegations. As she told the Apollo Theater, the
- 32:15Speaker 1: Black Hollywood Power Trio Oprah, Lee Daniels, and Tyler, Uh,
- 32:19Speaker 1: they can suck her d if she had one. Monique consids,
- 32:24Speaker 1: she's standing on the truth, just like one of her heroes,
- 32:27Speaker 1: Richard Pryor. Would take a listen. If you notice in comedy,
- 32:32Speaker 1: one of the greats, his name was Richard Pryor. And
- 32:35Speaker 1: the reason why we love Richard Pryor was because of
- 32:38Speaker 1: what the truth? The truth? Baby, He told the truth
- 32:42Speaker 1: and there were people that said, oh, how can you
- 32:44Speaker 1: say that? And as it coming from my heart, everything
- 32:47Speaker 1: I say comes from my heart, I'm unapologetic about it.
- 32:50Speaker 1: She started off by saying, simply, people keep asking me
- 32:54Speaker 1: about the black ball, and then she began to share
- 32:58Speaker 1: the information regarding the black Paul Uh. Lee Daniels was
- 33:02Speaker 1: a part of it. But Tyler, Perry, Oprah Winfrey, if
- 33:05Speaker 1: you remember, they were a part of their production production
- 33:09Speaker 1: with the movie, they stood by and they allowed the
- 33:14Speaker 1: statements of her difficulty. What people don't know is in
- 33:17Speaker 1: between the sets of Uh, Precious, Monique was sitting with
- 33:22Speaker 1: Lee Daniels eating crab blades, watching in video village the
- 33:27Speaker 1: takes of that day. That doesn't sound like you're having
- 33:31Speaker 1: a difficult time with someone, But I would say to
- 33:33Speaker 1: you guys, what I would say to Oprah Tyler, Lee
- 33:37Speaker 1: one thing about me and my husband. We were not
- 33:40Speaker 1: no hiders, We're not no runners. And when the sister
- 33:42Speaker 1: says to me, aren't you afraid of the blowback? What
- 33:45Speaker 1: I would say to you as another woman? Aren't you
- 33:48Speaker 1: afraid to even ask the question? Am I afraid of
- 33:50Speaker 1: the blowback? Because you would say? Am I getting blowback
- 33:53Speaker 1: for simply being honest? Well? There you have it, Monique
- 33:58Speaker 1: Uh explaining her reasoning behind saying what she said to
- 34:03Speaker 1: Oprah Tyler and Lee Daniels. Um, you know this. You
- 34:07Speaker 1: know I love mo man Um. You know this is
- 34:11Speaker 1: the thing about friendship is um. This is a tough
- 34:16Speaker 1: one because as a friend, I'm your friend, you know,
- 34:20Speaker 1: I'm I'm I'm I'm a friend of Moles, you know.
- 34:23Speaker 1: But I'm also a friend of Oprah's and Tyler. I don't.
- 34:27Speaker 1: I don't know Lee Daniels. I never met him at all.
- 34:30Speaker 1: I don't. I don't know anything about him. So he
- 34:33Speaker 1: does great work, you know. So, but at this point
- 34:38Speaker 1: it's really it's you know, it's no way I can
- 34:40Speaker 1: intervene here that I think it's out there. It's been said,
- 34:43Speaker 1: it's been done. Um, I think when her husband made
- 34:47Speaker 1: a statement, or it's interesting that I heard that when
- 34:50Speaker 1: the statement obviously came from Lee Daniels. I think what
- 34:54Speaker 1: he said in the statement was that Tyler and Oprah
- 34:57Speaker 1: didn't say anything to count to that. I don't know
- 35:01Speaker 1: if that's their job to say anything about what Lee
- 35:06Speaker 1: Daniels said. I'm not That's what I gathered from that.
- 35:09Speaker 1: I don't know. Man, this is not a good This
- 35:12Speaker 1: is not good on so many levels. Well, we'll talk
- 35:17Speaker 1: about it. The more we'll talk about it. Yeah, alright,
- 35:22Speaker 1: and here she is, the lovely talented miss and Trip.
- 35:26Speaker 1: Thank you very much. Thanks guys, this is and Trip
- 35:28Speaker 1: with the news. Okay, let's go to the White House.
- 35:31Speaker 1: A lot of stuff going on there. No surprise, first
- 35:33Speaker 1: of all, that the White House is denying that the
- 35:36Speaker 1: President tried to lean on the now fired FBI Director
- 35:39Speaker 1: James Comey to stop his investigation into his former National
- 35:42Speaker 1: security advisor Michael Flynn's ties to Russia. Those because there
- 35:46Speaker 1: was a memo from Comey on Comey, one of Comy's memos,
- 35:50Speaker 1: rather whether it was discovered that apparently suggested that The
- 35:52Speaker 1: Trump administration says in a statement that while the President
- 35:56Speaker 1: views Flynn as a decent man who served and protected
- 35:58Speaker 1: the country, the President has ever asked Mr. Came Me
- 36:01Speaker 1: or anyone else to end an investigation. However, the Republican
- 36:04Speaker 1: chair of the House of Government Oversight Committee, Jason Schavis,
- 36:07Speaker 1: has sent a letter to the FBI asking for all
- 36:09Speaker 1: documents and recordings between call Me and President Trump, and
- 36:12Speaker 1: he wants to see them by next Wednesday. Meanwhile, The
- 36:15Speaker 1: New York Times reports at Israel was the source of
- 36:17Speaker 1: that highly classified intelligence on ISIS that The Washington Post
- 36:20Speaker 1: reported President Trump had shared with senior Russian officials in
- 36:23Speaker 1: the Oval Office last week. The Time site says its
- 36:26Speaker 1: sources both current and former U S officials. Meanwhile, the President,
- 36:29Speaker 1: who has the right to reveal classified material, says he
- 36:32Speaker 1: thought last week's meeting was a great one, accent on great.
- 36:35Speaker 1: We had a very very successful meeting with the Foreign
- 36:38Speaker 1: Minister of Russia. Our fight is against ISIS, as General
- 36:43Speaker 1: McMaster said, I thought, he said, and I know he
- 36:47Speaker 1: feels that we had actually a great meeting with the
- 36:50Speaker 1: foreign ministers. So we're gonna have a lot of great
- 36:53Speaker 1: success over the next coming years, and we want to
- 36:56Speaker 1: get as many to help fight terrorism as possible. Bolks Well,
- 37:00Speaker 1: that's just great. White House stafford say that Trump's talks
- 37:03Speaker 1: with Russian officials were totally appropriate. A number of lawmakers
- 37:06Speaker 1: though still disturbed about the president's alleged casual spelling of
- 37:08Speaker 1: confidential intel to the Russians, especially in light of his
- 37:12Speaker 1: constant accusations against Hillary Clinton and her emails during the
- 37:15Speaker 1: campaign with chance of lock her Up, Lock her Up.
- 37:18Speaker 1: Congressman Elijah Cummings, ranking Democrat of the House Oversight Committee, says,
- 37:21Speaker 1: the situation is disgraceful, indefensible, and I would say that
- 37:25Speaker 1: my Republican friends stop circling the wagon around this president,
- 37:30Speaker 1: wagon around the United States of America and put country first.
- 37:34Speaker 1: I was on MSNBC the city of Philadelphia suing Wells
- 37:37Speaker 1: Fargo for discrimination, with officials arguing that Wells Fargo's violated
- 37:41Speaker 1: the Federal hair Fair Housing Act, persuading blacks and Latin's
- 37:44Speaker 1: to sign into mortgage deals that were risky and more
- 37:47Speaker 1: expensive than those offered to whites. Associated Press reports more
- 37:50Speaker 1: than a thousand minorities were overcharged. And Today is National
- 37:54Speaker 1: Home Day against Homophobia, National Cherry Cobbler Day, and National
- 37:58Speaker 1: Employee Health and fitness day, So let's get physical. Okay,
- 38:05Speaker 1: this is that triple me back with Eugene the Butterfly
- 38:07Speaker 1: or twenty minutes after the hours, stay tuned to the
- 38:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 38:13Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, We're back, everybody. Uh, they're saying
- 38:17Speaker 1: it was here Before Mrs came in, we were talking
- 38:20Speaker 1: about them Monique situation. Yea, the statements and um, you
- 38:26Speaker 1: know I just heard what what what? What do you
- 38:29Speaker 1: guys thoughts on? Um, I just think this was And
- 38:34Speaker 1: I'm with you, Steve. I love Monique, of course, we
- 38:36Speaker 1: love Tyler and and Oprah, and we've never met Lee Daniels.
- 38:40Speaker 1: But I just think it was. I mean, I just
- 38:43Speaker 1: would never say something like that to people that I
- 38:46Speaker 1: respected or about people that I respected. I mean maybe
- 38:48Speaker 1: she just Monique just got caught up in the moment
- 38:51Speaker 1: and said they can. I mean, it was just too
- 38:54Speaker 1: much for me. I could never say that show, the tone,
- 38:58Speaker 1: the tone that she said. And I mean, Steve, you know,
- 39:00Speaker 1: being a comedian, being know say you can pretty much
- 39:02Speaker 1: say anything you want to say. It's just how you
- 39:05Speaker 1: it's how you say it. So it came off as
- 39:09Speaker 1: her being mean. I mean, I can understand her being
- 39:11Speaker 1: upset about the situation, but it came up as being me,
- 39:14Speaker 1: and she didn't laugh about it at the end. You know,
- 39:17Speaker 1: it wasn't delivered as a joke or you know, it
- 39:19Speaker 1: was delivered as here's what i'm gonna say. I'm not
- 39:22Speaker 1: gonna take it back. And that's kind of hard to
- 39:24Speaker 1: put out there and for me, just my ass works.
- 39:28Speaker 1: It's still good. You can still use that. I'm gonna Yeah,
- 39:35Speaker 1: she should apologize that. It's very effecting. And also I
- 39:43Speaker 1: think she's being petty. I think she's been very petty. Apologize.
- 39:47Speaker 1: I think she should apologize for those words. You know
- 39:50Speaker 1: what I thought at first, like, look, I've made a
- 39:53Speaker 1: lot of statements on stage, a lot of therapy. A
- 39:58Speaker 1: lot of comedians take a personal life to the stage.
- 40:01Speaker 1: Like what you were talking about the great Richard Prior,
- 40:04Speaker 1: he told the truth. But you have to listen. Prior
- 40:07Speaker 1: told the truth about himself. Yeah, you know, he talked
- 40:11Speaker 1: about himself. He said, he said itself on fire, he
- 40:16Speaker 1: messed up, he caught you know, his drug addiction. He
- 40:21Speaker 1: told the truth about himself. Wait, holds up. I'm sorry,
- 40:25Speaker 1: I'm sorry. You said himself, I'm just so happy go
- 40:28Speaker 1: ahead your grammar. Yes, I'm so happy, go ahead. I
- 40:32Speaker 1: just because you would normally say you would normally you're
- 40:43Speaker 1: being petted. You didn't mean to say himself. But now
- 40:49Speaker 1: listen to this. Though I thought at first it was
- 40:52Speaker 1: just a comedic tirade, like James say, we don't say
- 40:56Speaker 1: something stuff man, all of us that dude, this been.
- 41:00Speaker 1: I thought it was just a comedic tirade. But then
- 41:03Speaker 1: you know, saying to get a laugh. But you're saying
- 41:07Speaker 1: that as social commentary, that's a different thing. And like
- 41:10Speaker 1: Jay said, you know, kiss my A is still very
- 41:14Speaker 1: very effective once you go to to h s MD
- 41:20Speaker 1: instead of k m A. It's a whole nother thing.
- 41:26Speaker 1: And the truth you're telling is about some other people.
- 41:29Speaker 1: I think that's where I thought them, being on TMZ,
- 41:32Speaker 1: I thought they were going to, you know, clear it up,
- 41:35Speaker 1: some type of apology looking at the hand. But you
- 41:39Speaker 1: know they standing, they're going with it. So now you
- 41:42Speaker 1: gotta deal with the ramifications of all right, coming up,
- 41:44Speaker 1: j Anthony Brown will murder another hit. You know it.
- 41:49Speaker 1: We'll be back. You're listening to Steve all right, y'all.
- 41:54Speaker 1: Uh it's time, j Anthony Brown. What you got we're
- 41:58Speaker 1: gonna murder here today? What we we got one for you,
- 42:02Speaker 1: Steve and everybody, a lot of people have decided not
- 42:05Speaker 1: to let the King goes go the knot, which is cool,
- 42:10Speaker 1: but they're still wearing them backwards and that's just that's
- 42:14Speaker 1: not cool. So this is dedicated to those people who

- 46:51Speaker 1: top of the hour, about four minutes after get ready
- 46:54Speaker 1: for today's Strawberry letter. But next Tommy got it Force.
- 46:58Speaker 1: This is the prank phone call. The plank is entitled
- 47:02Speaker 1: make a wish Ministry? Just is Terrence Man? Help you please?
- 47:09Speaker 1: Brother Terence? Yeah, how you doing? I got your uh
- 47:12Speaker 1: your number? You you with the over the church. You
- 47:15Speaker 1: went to make a wish ministry? Yes, I am, I'm
- 47:18Speaker 1: gonna help you. Well listen, I'm I'm I'm actually uh
- 47:23Speaker 1: I'm I'm I'm terminally ill. Brothers, Brother Terrence, and uh,
- 47:28Speaker 1: I don't you know as far as what the doctors
- 47:30Speaker 1: tell me, it could be six months, another year. But
- 47:35Speaker 1: I know my time here is definitely limited, you know
- 47:40Speaker 1: when I'm sorry to hear that, but we're definitely here
- 47:42Speaker 1: to help you out with whatever you need or whatever
- 47:46Speaker 1: we can help you with. So what can we do
- 47:48Speaker 1: for you? Well? You know, I I truly believe that
- 47:51Speaker 1: sometimes people have you know, you know, I've seen one
- 47:54Speaker 1: of the mold movies they got with it Gotta Bucket
- 47:56Speaker 1: List or whatever they called it. You know what, people
- 47:58Speaker 1: trying to do things before they you here. I guess
- 48:01Speaker 1: I'm just sitting around trying to figure out what I
- 48:03Speaker 1: can do and what I wanted to do before I
- 48:06Speaker 1: left this world and went on to what he has
- 48:09Speaker 1: for me next. You know, I don't believe in doing
- 48:12Speaker 1: anything unless it's prayed on first. Oh yeah, if you
- 48:17Speaker 1: don't mind, maybe you can, uh, you know, before I
- 48:20Speaker 1: can tell you my wish, we were prayed that the
- 48:22Speaker 1: wish would come true. You you you know what I'm
- 48:25Speaker 1: doing anything like that? Oh no, I don't mind praying.
- 48:27Speaker 1: That's what we're here. Bow your head with yes, yes, yes,
- 48:31Speaker 1: sir is your head boy, Yr, Sir, Yr, Sir, Hell
- 48:35Speaker 1: other God, we come to you in the umeless way.
- 48:38Speaker 1: We know how. Lord, we asked you to touch this
- 48:41Speaker 1: young man and every which way we hurt, and then
- 48:45Speaker 1: we asked you to deliver him for whatever is going
- 48:48Speaker 1: on with him and let him know that we're the
- 48:50Speaker 1: church is here to help him with whatever his needs
- 48:53Speaker 1: is in his last days. And Jesus name, I prayed
- 48:57Speaker 1: say amen with none. It's gonna do it here. Now
- 49:03Speaker 1: you remember the church here of Newton, Well I was
- 49:07Speaker 1: a member. I still consider myself. Remember it's just been
- 49:10Speaker 1: quite sometimes probably over a year and after two years,
- 49:13Speaker 1: because I've been able to come, you know, through to
- 49:15Speaker 1: my my illness. But definitely I will remember that. Well,
- 49:20Speaker 1: that's all right. We're not worried about all that. We're
- 49:23Speaker 1: just here to take care of your last and final wish.
- 49:27Speaker 1: That's what our ministry is for. You know. We helped
- 49:30Speaker 1: people with with with anything they need, you know, like that,
- 49:33Speaker 1: what what what all? I mean when when people call
- 49:36Speaker 1: and won't say what all of you you all, what
- 49:38Speaker 1: all of y'all helped them with? Well, we've helped them
- 49:42Speaker 1: with they rent uh, take them to the store, help
- 49:47Speaker 1: them with a utility bill, come out and cut the grass,
- 49:50Speaker 1: anything like that they just can't do. Take them to
- 49:53Speaker 1: the doctor's appointment. Anything we'd like to help them with,
- 49:56Speaker 1: we do exactly. Then okay, well I pretty much got
- 50:00Speaker 1: those things taken care of. I think what I'd like
- 50:03Speaker 1: to do between you and and and myself as dying.
- 50:07Speaker 1: And I've never told anyone what I'm about tee. I've
- 50:12Speaker 1: never been with a with with a woman too. I'm
- 50:18Speaker 1: you know, I'm thirty eight, but I've never been with
- 50:21Speaker 1: a woman. Well, I guess that might be a blessing.
- 50:24Speaker 1: You might you might be there. That's a good thing. Well,
- 50:27Speaker 1: you know, but sometimes you know, I give before I leave,
- 50:31Speaker 1: I give. That's a desire that I have. And and
- 50:33Speaker 1: and uh, what I wanted to ask you was there
- 50:37Speaker 1: is a lady there at the church, and before I leave,
- 50:42Speaker 1: I think that's the woman that I would actually like
- 50:46Speaker 1: to to be with. I don't know if make a
- 50:49Speaker 1: wish ministry can support that kind of stuff, but go ahead,
- 50:53Speaker 1: let me hear, okay that the lady that i'm I'm
- 50:56Speaker 1: actually interested in actually uh works at the church too.
- 51:02Speaker 1: We'll not see she's done of all what she's about
- 51:05Speaker 1: five nine, and she's probably about a size eight, beautiful
- 51:10Speaker 1: long leagues man and and and and sandy type of hair, sandy, colorful,
- 51:15Speaker 1: sandy brown man. And I mean she looked like caremen.
- 51:19Speaker 1: Hold on a minute. What's her name? I think her
- 51:24Speaker 1: name Linda? Now hold on, that's my wife? What you
- 51:28Speaker 1: mean go ahead and see wait wait wait wait wait
- 51:31Speaker 1: wait wait sending your wife. Yeah, that's my wife. You soron.
- 51:35Speaker 1: What do you mean? Listen, y'all are ministry now now
- 51:39Speaker 1: if y'all supposed to be taking care of people on
- 51:41Speaker 1: mak a wish and and taking care of what they
- 51:43Speaker 1: want before they leave this world, if that's my wish,
- 51:46Speaker 1: what is the problem? Listen here? You didn't cross every
- 51:49Speaker 1: line there was about this man, So I don't give
- 51:52Speaker 1: a damn about it. I'm you're talking about sleeping with
- 51:54Speaker 1: my If I see you're gonna do something to you,
- 51:57Speaker 1: they ain't gonna even be able to recognize you. So
- 52:00Speaker 1: with the you talking about missing with my wife, son
- 52:02Speaker 1: of a called miss lending myself and seeing you know
- 52:05Speaker 1: I have a problem, wouldn't helping me make my wish
- 52:08Speaker 1: come true? Right here? And calling you won't call nobody else.
- 52:12Speaker 1: That would be the last call you make. I thought
- 52:16Speaker 1: y'all were here to relieve people so they can enjoy
- 52:19Speaker 1: themselves and before they leave this world. You talk about
- 52:23Speaker 1: sleeping with my wife? Are you crazy? But? But if
- 52:25Speaker 1: I'm gonna leave here, ain't nobody gonna know? But you
- 52:28Speaker 1: want hut? I don't care if you die. I don't care.
- 52:31Speaker 1: You ain't sleeping with my wife and your food with her.
- 52:34Speaker 1: You probably gonna go ahead and die quicker than you
- 52:36Speaker 1: need to. I thought this was a ministry. I don't
- 52:40Speaker 1: care you or now you're over. They're telling me about dying.
- 52:42Speaker 1: Y'all supposed to be a ministry to help people before
- 52:45Speaker 1: they leave. Word what it is. But you talk about
- 52:48Speaker 1: sleeping with my wife? You got an illness, but something
- 52:50Speaker 1: must be wrong with your ain't talking about missing with man? Well, ain't.
- 52:54Speaker 1: Nobody don't even know I've been with your wife. Wants
- 52:56Speaker 1: something gonna there? Ain't gonna be but the tour, y'all.
- 52:58Speaker 1: At least you would have helped me before. I'm not no,
- 53:00Speaker 1: I can't help you with nothing. And let me tell
- 53:02Speaker 1: you something. I'm not the preacher, I'm not the past,
- 53:05Speaker 1: I'm not the think it. I'm not none of them.
- 53:07Speaker 1: But if you mentioned my wife, you're gonna know who
- 53:10Speaker 1: I am. I'm gonna be the undertake er. Do you understand?
- 53:12Speaker 1: I hear what you're saying. But I got one more
- 53:14Speaker 1: thing I need to tell you about who I who
- 53:17Speaker 1: asked you? Ignorant? To go ahead? Let me from the
- 53:22Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Your wife rend me to praise show,
- 53:28Speaker 1: y'all tell me I can't even recording. This is it's recording.
- 53:38Speaker 1: Every let Hammers last ain't gonna hear this is Oh god,
- 53:47Speaker 1: I got one more thing. What is the baddest and
- 53:51Speaker 1: I mean the boo radio show in the land? Eve
- 53:55Speaker 1: Harving Morning Show, Nephew. Did he make you proud? Uncle?
- 54:05Speaker 1: See there's an abundance of stupid. Yeah, yeah, overload right,
- 54:15Speaker 1: but we love it though. Yeah, Tommy is the CEO
- 54:19Speaker 1: and president. Let's just say that, hey, Steve Isaiah Thomas
- 54:23Speaker 1: in the Boston Celtics beat the Washington Wizards. Now they
- 54:26Speaker 1: advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals against Lebron James and
- 54:30Speaker 1: your beloved Cleveland Cavaliers. Game one, Cleveland and Boston is tonight. Okay, June,
- 54:38Speaker 1: you don't know it was a game. I don't even
- 54:40Speaker 1: know it was a game tonight. Know why you don't
- 54:42Speaker 1: know cause y'all out of it? Okay, j Just hey dog,
- 54:58Speaker 1: everybody come back, chip slate, Man, I'm gonna say it.
- 55:05Speaker 1: I'm gonna say what Cleveland cheap? Okay, I'm gonna sing
- 55:10Speaker 1: really you know, but but you know, but like we
- 55:13Speaker 1: give it damn w W. That's all it is. Lebron
- 55:18Speaker 1: James is on Guerrilla Milk I put it out there.
- 55:26Speaker 1: I'm just as long as the Lakers. As long as
- 55:29Speaker 1: the Lakers ain't in it, I'm happy. My life is good.
- 55:32Speaker 1: Speaking of the Lakers, though, Kobe Bryant, former Lakers, says
- 55:36Speaker 1: he doesn't miss playing NBA in the NBA at all.
- 55:39Speaker 1: He gives he gives advice to Isaiah Thomas. He really
- 55:43Speaker 1: missed well, he says, he does. I think, man, that
- 55:47Speaker 1: that guy went out on his own term. I think
- 55:51Speaker 1: the Black Moment one of the greatest. He was. Man,
- 55:54Speaker 1: you know, Jordan made a comeback. He really missed it. Yeah, yeah, whatever,
- 56:04Speaker 1: we could not like him, that boy right there. Yeah,
- 56:12Speaker 1: but he got He got advice from Michael Jackson who
- 56:15Speaker 1: told him to study the greats like Michael Jordan's, like
- 56:19Speaker 1: Magic and Karine. So that's what he did. Game is tonight, though,
- 56:30Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steven Show. All right, Strawberry letters
- 56:35Speaker 1: coming up. But first, what you can't do, guys, is
- 56:39Speaker 1: run up into an o G Okay, Matt found that
- 56:43Speaker 1: out the hard way. I'll tell you who I'm talking
- 56:44Speaker 1: about in a minute, Steve, did you see the video
- 56:46Speaker 1: of Real Housewives of Atlantist Kenya Moores? Yeah? I did.
- 56:50Speaker 1: Did you see it? You checked it out? Her ex
- 56:53Speaker 1: boyfriend Matt Jordan's found out. That's what he found out
- 56:57Speaker 1: when he ran up into Peter Thomas were at a
- 57:00Speaker 1: Charlotte radio station having an interview. Okay, and then Matt
- 57:04Speaker 1: Jordan insists the only reason he didn't kick Peter Thomas's
- 57:07Speaker 1: but quicker is because Peter had a knife on him.
- 57:10Speaker 1: Did you see this fight though? Why not have a
- 57:13Speaker 1: knife that Peter had a knife. I mean, you want
- 57:16Speaker 1: to have something that's gonna help you win the fight.
- 57:19Speaker 1: Knife at the radio station. Yeah, he had like a
- 57:22Speaker 1: box cutter or something. Box cutters is legal. I have one, anybody. Yeah,
- 57:32Speaker 1: I got I got a fangernail clip that really ain't
- 57:34Speaker 1: a friendernail. I got to put something on you. Did
- 57:40Speaker 1: you see that fight? Did you see it? Peter? To
- 57:45Speaker 1: Peter's credit, he was trying to diffuse it because I
- 57:48Speaker 1: know men, when you see a man put his hands
- 57:51Speaker 1: in his pocket and back up away from you and
- 57:53Speaker 1: sit down, trying to say, hey man, this thing escalator,
- 57:57Speaker 1: that's not gold here. The dude kept pressing, and it
- 58:01Speaker 1: was pressing for no reason. I think he thought he
- 58:03Speaker 1: had Peter intimidated, and he thought he'd do it that way,
- 58:07Speaker 1: which was his hands in his pocket and sent out.
- 58:12Speaker 1: He's much bigger, a lot more muscular. But when he
- 58:16Speaker 1: ran his ass over there, people, I keep telling people,
- 58:21Speaker 1: can't keep run up on that first twenty seconds. You're
- 58:24Speaker 1: gonna be surprised over got his young ass tossed up,
- 58:28Speaker 1: messing crying, oh yeah, had all the muscles, just crying yea.
- 58:38Speaker 1: And Peter from the island. And Peter will put a
- 58:41Speaker 1: root on the had chicken feet in the morning, his
- 58:43Speaker 1: hands from Jamaica, from Jamaica, and his hands will be
- 58:49Speaker 1: chicken feet, blew some dust in his face, and you
- 58:56Speaker 1: know he have a cow flip run at the top
- 58:59Speaker 1: of his Yeah, Peter said he wasn't there the fight
- 59:05Speaker 1: with man. He was not. And when he put his
- 59:07Speaker 1: in his bock, he's reaching for his blade. Right. But
- 59:12Speaker 1: you go back on the block, though, when you go
- 59:13Speaker 1: back on the block, do you know how are they
- 59:16Speaker 1: gonna talk about you sitting up there crying your about Peter?
- 59:23Speaker 1: All right, it's time. It's time for the letter, the
- 59:27Speaker 1: strawberry letter. In the words of a nephew, Buckle up
- 59:30Speaker 1: and hold on tight. Here we go. Wait, is it
- 59:35Speaker 1: with him? Thank you all right. This one says young
- 59:41Speaker 1: stepmother trying to get away. Good morning, Steve, Shirley, Tommy,
- 59:46Speaker 1: and Carla. I need some serious help. So I used
- 59:49Speaker 1: to be involved with an older man. See I like
- 59:52Speaker 1: older men. I'm twenty nine, he's forty nine. We dated
- 59:57Speaker 1: for five years, and in between that time I got
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: pregnant with our son. But we are not together anymore.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: I bought a house and he has his own place.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: Our problem is he has daughters that are older than me,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: and they don't respect me. When he and I used
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: to live together, that's when things went downhill. I attended
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: one of his daughter's baby showers and one of his
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: daughters told me to leave because I don't do nothing
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: but sit there. Then he embarrassed me in front of
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: everybody by calling me by his ex wife's name. I
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: was humiliated. Then when they call the house, they don't
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: use words like hello or good morning. It's just put
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: my father on the phone. I told their father, but
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: he always comes to their defense. The fighting got so
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: bad that I had to move out and stay with
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: my sister. When I left, I thought it would be over.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: But now they show up at my house walk in
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: without speaking and bring all the nonsense that they do
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: back to my house. I told their father we are
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: not together anymore. Tell your children to leave me alone.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: He says, they love me and that's their way of
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: showing it. I want him to just drop my son
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: off when he comes and keep it moving. They still
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: call my phone and show up at my house. His
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: whole family is crazy. How do I stay away from
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: these people without denying my son the right to see
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: his father? Because if they don't leave me alone, I'm
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: going I'm gonna go crazy. Please help, Seriously, you know
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: where your relatives, well, where's your family support? These people,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: including your baby daddy, are just jumping on you for
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: no reason. I mean, I gotta ask you, how are
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: you allowing this stuff to happen? How are you allowing
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: them just to come in your house and call your
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: phone and disrespect you and your home and everything. You know,
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: you gotta stand up to these people. Uh, you know
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: you don't have to take this. You don't have to
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: take this just because you have a son with this man. First,
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: you know, change your phone number so they can stop
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: calling you and disrespecting you. I mean, just don't let
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: them walk all over you stop letting your son see
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: them treat you like this. I mean to me, just
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: say stop and and don't have them do this, you know.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: Cut somebody else, Get some relatives up in there that
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: are strong, you know, and uh, that can handle this.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: If you can't, somebody can have to take this from
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: these people. Who do they think they are. He's not
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: your man, he's not your husband. You guys broke up.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: Go ahead, Steve Well, I got I don't know how
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: to fix all this for you, but you gotta covie
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: basic problem. Young stepmother trying to get away. Uh, here's
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: your whole problem. I used to be involved with the
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: older man. See I like older men. See right there,
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: Why don't you start liking somebody your own age. You're
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: all up over here for we already setting our way,
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: and you're damn right. We're gonna hear kids same age
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: as you, Hey, are we? Oh? That's what they do,
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: old man here, always kids what you want? Surprise? You know?
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: He dating somebody twenty years younger than him. You had
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: the baby or twenty years old, that's all you know.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: I bought a house, he has his own place. You
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: bought a house, He got apartment that's what I read
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: in it. My problem is he has daughters that are

- 1:07:01Speaker 1: how you get people off your dough. The other thing
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: you could do is have some of your ignorant cousins
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: they come now, yeah, the boys in your family, that's ignorant.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: And when they come into dough, just say, oh, these

- 1:19:06Speaker 1: is you two don't ever say anything to me about
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: Morgan Freeman. Ever again, ever, Mama, Mama at the moment
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: at the end though, all right, I just have this
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: story for you, Steve. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Show.
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: All right, So, Steve, did you hear about this? This
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: is according to The New York Post. Now, Kelly and Conway,
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: we all know who she is. She's the one credited
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: with actually getting Donald Trump to the White House. Is
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: as yeah as his campaign manager. Yeah, well, anyway, the
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: New York Post. According to them, Kelly and Conway secretly
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: hates Donald Trump. I could see that. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: I'll say it again. According to The New York Post,
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: Kelly and Conway secretly hates Donal Trump. MSNBC's co host
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: Yeah uh, Mika presents Key and Joe Scarborough from Morning
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: Joe recently put Kelly and Conway on blast. During their
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: segment their Morning Joe Show. They said that, while Donald
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: Trump was just a candidate, Kelly Anne was publicly praising
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: him but privately creeped out by him. Kelly Anne, Um, well,
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: I mean you can't tell. Well, she constantly has to
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: defend stuff that he said. That he said and you
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: know it's not true. But you still gotta defended anywhere. Yeah,
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: and that puts her in a bad especially after happening
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: a guy when the presidency loyalty loyalty issue. Mica explained,
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: this is a woman, by the way. Mika said, this
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: is a woman, by the way, who came on our
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: show during the campaign and would chill for Trump in
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: extensive fashion. And then she would get off the air,
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: the camera would be turned off, the micro phone would
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: be taken off, and she would say, uh, blah, I
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: need to take a shower, blah, I need to take
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: a shower. Because she disliked her candidates so much. Joe
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: also chimed in and said Kelly In compared the job
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: to a summer vacation in Europe, implying this was just
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: a temporary gig. She took a paycheck for uh. In
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: case you missed it, The White House was eventually banned
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: from Morning Joe um uh back in March after spreading
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: a series of alternative facts. So they are saying Kelly
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: Inn is just in it for the money, Steve, have
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: you ever done a job just for the money? You
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: don't want it right now, so you don't like us.
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: You're just here for the money. Yeah, I like you
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: let our hearts this check and immediately, like if I
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: got on a commercial break right now over the bath
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: room and they say, after this, uh show right here,
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: you won't be back. We're taking you off the airy.
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: Ain't gonna worry about me coming back. I'm going no, no, no, no,
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: no no no. They ain't gonna do that to me
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: because I will come back on this air and everybody
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: going nobody. Yeah, I've done a lot of stuff for money.
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: I mean, you know it's it's it's yeah, I don't
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: do anything that goes against mine values for money. I
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: won't line yeah, yeah, that I won't do for money.
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: Like one of your biggest things, you don't endorse the alcohol.
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: And I've never endorsed alcohol because I can't. It's just
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: a promise I made to God. You know I've wanted to.
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: And it's not like I'm against alcohol because I drink
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: Scotch Urban you know I do, but I can't promote
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: it to young it's if, you know, if it just
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: sold to adults to be rate. But I can't run
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: the risk of one of my kids at my camp saying, well,
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: Mr Harvey, think is cool to drink and he promotes
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: it that that's the only problem I would have. If
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: it was just two adults, I would have my own
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: bourbon by now Yeah. I've been off that I would
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: have my own Scotch by now high and I would
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: have a Scotch or bourbon. I've been offered Vodkas but
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: motive for kids. But I look at the success of
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: jay Z Puffy so Rock is king, and it's tempting.
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: But I can't. If I had never told God, I
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: wouldn't do that no more. See here's what happened. Man.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: When I had a comedy club, I I sold alcohol
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: and I didn't even know how to make a drink
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: because I never drank before. I had this comedy club
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: and I sold alcohol and talking to drunk people. What's
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: one of the worst experiences I've ever had trying to
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: do business with a drunk person. And I had I
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: dealt with a drunk person every night at my cup
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: and I just said, Man, what broke me was this
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: guy was complaining about the service and the food I
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: bought him in my office. He's so drunk he flew
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: up all over the walls. Yeah, and that was it.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: I said, God, if you just give me out of
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: this business man, I promise you I won't sell alcohol
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: to normal people. He got me out. You know, I
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: don't take I've had alcohol sponsors for all to come
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: around for events that I throw. I wouldn't take it.
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: The only thing we took was the Kings of Comedy.
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: You know, twenty million dollars that's your fee? Would HW
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: you turned it down? You know I can't. Here's the deal.
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: How do I for the money and I break a
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: promise to God that I'm really serious? Okay? Yeah, you know,
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: because I have to pay for you know, look, I've
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: had to pay for breaking the Vale before. You know,
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: I paid dearly for that you know, them wedding dog
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: that seriously, he really does millions. No, I can't. Okay
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: I can't because I know you have a price. Yeah
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: I got a price, but I can't do it for
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: fifty million. I can't do it for you because of
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: what he's done for me. You know, just you have
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: a hundred million dollars worth of help down a hundred
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: million dollars a billion, one billion with a B. Yeah,
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: I'd rather have a billion dollars worth of health that
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: one billion dollars cash and right now. I'm healthy. It
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: ain't got to be that many millions. How much would
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: you do? It's for forgiveness, yea two or three? Three change?
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: Thank god, he's a forgiving god. Yes he is. And
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: he's an awesome guy. Oh yeah, won't he do it? Okay? Well,
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: if you told me here forgive in a word, hello Jesus. Yeah,
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: I just I don't know, man, If you can't do what,
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: you can't do it. Yeah, I'm gonna go with the scription, surety.
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: The wealth of the wicked is laid up for the just. Okay,
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: you just put your scripture? Made it? No, it's been there.
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: Steven is mad now about that? Plus money? All right,
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: we'll be back. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Show. Okay.
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: Our President is at it again. I mean it's always something,
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: isn't it. He's pushing back against the Washington Post report
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: saying that he revealed highly classified information to Russian diplomats
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: during a meeting last week at the White House. Trump
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: insists he didn't give any classified information up and that
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: he merely shared facts about terrorism and airline safety as
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: part of a joint effort to fight ISIS. In a
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: pair of tweets. Trump said, quote, as president, I wanted
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: to share with Russia at an openly scheduled White House
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: meeting in parentheses, which I have the absolute right to do,
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: facts pertaining to terrorism and airline flight safety, humanitarianism, humanitarian reasons.
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: Plus I want Russia to greatly st up their fight
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: against ices and terrorism. Trump's National security advisor H. R.
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: McMaster says he was present at that meeting and insisted
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: that at no time were intelligence sources or methods discussed. Well,
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: you know, I mean, I don't I don't think he's
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: I don't think he'd do that. Well, here's the thing,
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: but I don't know why they're saying that he did that.
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: Does anybody know exactly what he said? Well, he he
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: did talk about, um, you know, the airline safety. He
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: did talk about terrorism, he did talk about the class. Well,
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: it's information that a foreign source told him Russia. Yeah,
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: you don't tell and it says, yes, as president, he
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: has the right to do it, Steve, But should he
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: have done it? You know, should he have told them
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: that as president? And their question is a problem with
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: this story for me, We as Americans are not allowed
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: to vote or way foreign policy. We have no voting
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: foreign policy. And I'm telling you what they're doing with
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: what's classified and what they're allowed to tell us a
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: lot of his propaganda, it's what they want us to know,
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: the real deal. They'll never tell us, So I don't
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: get this story right here, you know. But everything he do, though,
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: he gonna get dug up. He got to know that
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: they're gonna dig and pick at him no matter what
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: he do. And I'm just saying, man, that's crazy that
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: he would do something like that in an open meeting
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: at the White House. And and the Russian all wasn't
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: the Russian president Russian dip on that for that? It's
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: kind of like the rule your mama had when he
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: was coming up. You don't tell nobody what's going on
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: in this house. I don't know what I do. Yeah, sure,
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: I have the right to say that. I don't care
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: what happens in this out, especially your big mom. You
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: don't tell your big mama, not me. So it makes
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: other foreign you know, our foreign leaders question whether or
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: not they should be to the President and tell him
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: certain things because he'll go and tell and you just
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: don't do that. You know, he's our secrets. You don't.
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: You don't, you just don't run your mouth. Well, I
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: don't know that he gave him secrets. Nobody's saying exactly
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: what he said. They said he gave up classified information,
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: but I don't. I don't know what that is. See
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: that once you get into that foreign policy, you know, man,
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: this thing is so political. Now. It all started when
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: Obama got him acted. M h that right wing conservative
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: party went over there, and boy, they went to block
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: and everything. This man tried to do them day one.
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: That black I mean a lot of that. I mean,
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: let's face it was first African American president. So now
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: now that Trump is president, they all got to act
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: like they wanted him to be president when other politicians
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: that's just not the case. Not a lot of Americans did.
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: But politicians no. But because they spent the eight years
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: Hayden Barack Obama so much, they didn't prepare any candidate.
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: Ted Kent, Ted Cruz was a joke, Rubio was a joke.
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: Cusack had a chance. He's a decent person, but did
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: nobody know him. So the TV star got in and Wong, Well,
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: now the tea, I don't kill what Trump do. We're
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: gonna get you hal and all we stuck with is
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: all this bipartisan bullcrap we got weren't get enough. Got
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: some songs right now, Let's go cat play the jams jam,
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: Well we didn't play them. You're listening Steve Harvey Show,
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: all right. For twenty five years, Diane Johnson has been
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: coming to work at McDonald's in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and the
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: seventy six year old has never called in sick once
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: in all those years. She's seventy six years old. Now.
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: She handles over six hundred cars during her daily five
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: hour shifts at the drive through window, and she gets
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: more compliments than any other employee. According to her manager,
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: Johnson knows many of them by name and even knows
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: their regular orders, some of their birthdays are, and she
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: knows the name of their grandchildren. But don't think that
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: you know, just because she's a senior, and you know
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: she's seventy six, and she's planning on retiring anytime soon.
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: Johnson says. She keeps she plans to keep on working
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: as long as she can. She says, I love working here,
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: She says, I love the people. I mean, you got
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: to commend you have to commend her for that, because
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: I don't know how many of us can say that.
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: And we'll start with you, Steve. How many days have
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: you called in sick? And here's the thing, He's not
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: sick when I call it, He's never sick. You ain't
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: never sick. Never. Oh, let's go back to me and
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: the boys in a single day or tape. Okay, let's
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: go to the Steve Harvey Show. Only miss one day, mom,
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: mother passed. Let's go to Steve Harvey's Big Time. Never
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: missed a single day. Let's go to family few eight years,
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: two hundred episodes a year, I mean year eight. Have
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: never missed a single day, never missed the day of
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: shooting a big Shots, never missed the day of shooting
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: off Forever Young. Never missed one single episode of Showtime
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: with Dear part m h five years on the Steve
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: Harvey Show. Have never missed a single tape of the
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: Steve Harvey That is well, well, I can say I
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: have not missed the day here yet. At three weeks,
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: three straights, three weeks straight, man, I've been pretty I
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: brought myself in here. I was really dead sick A
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: couple of days, yeah, ye have the job had to
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: be done, had to work. Um, so it would kill
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: me not to come of word. It would just kill me.
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: Truth needs to be told. I've been so sick. But
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: when that might comes out. Yes, I really wish Monique
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: well because but this right here, man, the whole explanation.
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: I just I just felt it could have been handled better. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: and I think that they really should talk to someone
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: outside of this circle so they could get some real
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: damage control help him. And I'm a specialist damage control.
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I stay in so I'm on the damn
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: internet like I started the Internet. Yeah, it would have
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: been really really cool to just say, hey, look it
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: got out of head. It was a comedian tirade. I
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: got to I told the truth about that, but I
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: shouldn't have raised it that way. I apologize for exactly
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: because they didn't say that to you. So and like
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: j C kiss my Ace steal, you go to the
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: other level, you start getting around front all right, we'll
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: be back right after this. Can you bring it around kissing?
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: All right? Just one more thing, a question for everyone.
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: Do you guys think we're a petty group here? I
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: never think of myself as being petty, but the more
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: we delve into it. Am I think petty, come off petty,
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: but we're not at all. I'm never thinking when they
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: go high, I mean when they go low. Yes, whatever
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: you say, I'm like, that's petty, J that's real petty.
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: Right now, it's a new segment called Am I Being petty?
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: So you just want to know is situation going on
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: in your life? Are you being petty about it? Jay?
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: Where you're at with this? Okay? I go to my
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: friend's house. They got a nice big screen television, huge
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: watching when watching the movie, And sometimes when you watch
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: a movie, you don't hear what the person says. So
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: you say, could you rewind that? And he says, rewind
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: is five dollars extra? So yeah it is. It costs. Yeah,
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: it costs to read. The cable companies charge you extra
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: for to re run. So he says, I don't have that,
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: So well I I left because I don't like I
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: just can't sit and watch television with somebody who don't
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: have rewind. It's an insult. It just no, Seriously, it
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: messes up my spirit. You know what I'm saying. That's
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: what I'm saying. Yeah, Am I being? All I'm asking
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: is am I being petty. Yes, yeah, I don't understand
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: who was who charged the cable extra. If you have rewind,
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: you can need to watch the Yes, it is wonder
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: my cable bill is so hot. Okay, okay. So my girlfriend,
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: you guys know her Tracy, through a fiftieth birthday party
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: for her husband's Saturday night. So Nesta and I went.
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: We got all dressed up and went. You know, of
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: course they have food and everything. Why is it everywhere
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: we go Nesto piles his plate when he goes, I
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: mean piles his plate to the ceiling. Yes, it's just
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: I mean it's embarrassing. Does he eat? Yes, and then
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: he goes back for seconds. I think he's hungry. And
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: so this time he asked me, could I go get dessert.
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: I just got up and just went and got in
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: the car. I was ready to yes, I don't car.
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: I just left. I was that was embarrassing, do you know.
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: I mean he had all they had, you know, like
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: a Mexican food spread. They had talking nice. I mean
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: it was really really nice. But I mean, he's got
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: to come on now. Really, I was in the car.
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: I was in the car and it was going I
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: had started it. Let's just tap it. And I started
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: the car up. Okay, okay, it's big patty. Yeah. Sorry,
- 1:38:34Speaker 1: and my body come on the other day, probably come
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: over the other day was Mother's Day. And when the
- 1:38:44Speaker 1: kids came over, okay, and I was eating a pint
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: of hogging dogs, yes, sir, yes, and little uh huh.
- 1:38:55Speaker 1: He walks up and he's seen me, so he go.
- 1:39:00Speaker 1: So I put a little bit in his mouth. His
- 1:39:03Speaker 1: sister Rose must know the tone of so she heard it.
- 1:39:08Speaker 1: She came around there. She's not in front of me, Papa,
- 1:39:12Speaker 1: I cree because she could talk a little bit. So
- 1:39:15Speaker 1: I give her a little bit of ice cream. Morgan's
- 1:39:17Speaker 1: daughter Ale. She's looking for Rose. She see the ice
- 1:39:21Speaker 1: cream lines. She get it. So now I ain't got
- 1:39:26Speaker 1: to hold pint to my second, which was my plan.
- 1:39:31Speaker 1: I'm not sharing this ice cream with three of my grandkids,
- 1:39:35Speaker 1: and I didn't want to. So what I did was
- 1:39:38Speaker 1: to stop him after about folk bites each, you know,
- 1:39:42Speaker 1: my pint starting to get away from it. So I
- 1:39:45Speaker 1: figured the best way to get him away from me,
- 1:39:48Speaker 1: as I took a big glob of it and stuck
- 1:39:50Speaker 1: it in North's mouth, a big glob and put it
- 1:39:53Speaker 1: in Ale's mouth and a big glob and put it
- 1:39:56Speaker 1: in uh rose mouth and gave all the brain free. Yes, yes, something.
- 1:40:08Speaker 1: So they were trying to work out that's severe things
- 1:40:13Speaker 1: between the and they just got on away from and
- 1:40:16Speaker 1: I finished, I'm just trying to figure out without being petty. Yes, yes,
- 1:40:21Speaker 1: yes he was yes, yes, grand babies, he was being petty.
- 1:40:26Speaker 1: Can I ask your plan was to eat as you
- 1:40:28Speaker 1: can buy yourself? Right, that's what you want. That's all
- 1:40:32Speaker 1: you want it now you want? It was being the babies,
- 1:40:40Speaker 1: the fact that they're cute against me. I love Papa.
- 1:40:47Speaker 1: I love that. Yeah, I got one, y'all. So my girl,
- 1:40:51Speaker 1: she called me, they got a pool. It's like, come on, girl,
- 1:40:55Speaker 1: let's sit outside on the deck, have a glass of wine. Girl.
- 1:40:59Speaker 1: I'm on, ain't got over there. Do y'all know I
- 1:41:03Speaker 1: walked outside. This girl got an above ground pool. No,
- 1:41:08Speaker 1: you're not being you're not being vetted. I would saying
- 1:41:13Speaker 1: something about me calling I'm griming over the wall to
- 1:41:17Speaker 1: get Steve. Come on what I'm doing. See what people
- 1:41:26Speaker 1: in above brown pools need to do? What that needs
- 1:41:29Speaker 1: to be said? On the phone and above from would
- 1:41:36Speaker 1: you like to climb in so right, he's so okay
- 1:41:44Speaker 1: by being petty. Yes, you're not. You're not being patty.
- 1:41:49Speaker 1: I'm sure you can see the manufacturer name on the
- 1:41:51Speaker 1: pool mar Marco. Hell know that's what it is. I
- 1:42:01Speaker 1: got to get my leg up over my shoulder and
- 1:42:05Speaker 1: I don't have, and I don't have the same way
- 1:42:12Speaker 1: I didn't told myself my growing trying to get into
- 1:42:20Speaker 1: I don't told myself in the place I love to go.
