Transcript
- 0:02Hey, everybody. Welcome back to the Lila Rose
- 0:04Podcast. Thanks everybody for joining.
- 0:06We're here doing another YouTube Live Today.
- 0:09Yesterday was the first. Last night was the first
- 0:12presidential debate President Donald Trump, former President
- 0:15Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris faced off.
- 0:18We're going to actually watch a key part of that debate, which
- 0:23is worthy of all of our focus. There's so much that they talked
- 0:26about and debated about. And these are crucial issues for
- 0:29the American people because this has to do with life or death for
- 0:32our weakest brothers and sisters in the womb, unborn children.
- 0:35So we're going to watch that. We're also going to talk about a
- 0:37huge announcement coming out of coming via, I think Instagram,
- 0:41Taylor Swift endorsed Ala Harris for president and why she did
- 0:46that and more. All right, before we dive in,
- 0:49we're actually going to watch some of the debate together.
- 0:51There's some really big lies that we're told, complete lies
- 0:54that were just given without being fact checked by any
- 0:56moderators. They weren't even being fact
- 0:58checked by the other candidate. They were just lies being told.
- 1:01So we need to unpack those lies. And then of course, there was a
- 1:04lot of debate about what abortion stances each candidate
- 1:07has, what it all means. So we're going to break that all
- 1:10down. Before we do that though, I have
- 1:11to thank our wonderful and amazing sponsor, Every Life.
- 1:15Every life.com is America's fastest growing diaper company.
- 1:19They're also America's pro-life diaper company.

- 1:25wipes that are sourced ethically, that are made with
- 1:27great materials and they're designed to keep your little one

- 1:34So Every Life is donating part of their proceeds back to the
- 1:37pro-life movement and they're specifically donating a lot of
- 1:40diapers and wipes of these premium products directly to
- 1:44pregnancy. See resource centers that are

- 1:49So go to everylife.com today. Stop the supporting companies
- 1:53like Pampers and Huggies, which are pro abortion companies,
- 1:56believe it or not, which is really horrible.
- 1:57They're owned by conglomerates that actually support Planned
- 1:59Parenthood. And instead use your purchasing
- 2:02power to partner with everylife.com to get great
- 2:06diapers and wipes for your little one or your loved ones

- 2:11checkout for 10% off your order. That's everylife.com com and
- 2:15don't forget the code Lila at check out for 10% off your
- 2:17order. All right, everyone knew that
- 2:20there was going to be a fiery debate.
- 2:22I think there's a lot of commentary about people saying
- 2:25that they felt that there was a lack of performance, quite
- 2:28frankly, from both candidates, A lot of people critical of
- 2:31Trump's performance and a lot of people critical of Kamala's
- 2:34performance. My job right now is to go
- 2:37through the part of the debate that they talked about what I
- 2:41believe is the most important issue.
- 2:42There are a lot of issues discussed, but there was a full
- 2:4510 minutes of the debate that was that was used to discuss
- 2:50abortion. And so we're going to listen to
- 2:52that part of the debate together because there were some key lies
- 2:57that were told that underpin the entire Kamala Harris campaign.
- 3:04And then there were some concessions that President Trump
- 3:07made that I think actually hurt his entire campaign.
- 3:12So we're going to look at this crucial 10 minutes during the
- 3:15presidential debate last night. I want to turn to the issue of
- 3:19abortion. President Trump, you've often
- 3:21touted that you were able to kill Roe V Wade.
- 3:24Last year you said that you were proud to be the most pro-life
- 3:28president in American history. Then last month you said that
- 3:31your administration would be great for women and their
- 3:33reproductive rights. In your home state of Florida,
- 3:36you surprised many with regard to your six week abortion ban
- 3:39because you initially had said that it was too short.
- 3:42And you said, quote, I'm going to be voting that we need more
- 3:45than six weeks. But then the very next day you
- 3:48reverse course and said you would vote to support the six
- 3:51week ban. Vice President Harris says that
- 3:53women shouldn't trust you on the issue of of abortion because
- 3:57you've changed your position so many times.
- 3:59OK, let's pause here. Why should they try?
- 4:01Let's pause here. OK, So this is Lindsey Davis.
- 4:04She's one of the moderators of the debate from last night.
- 4:06And she is, you know, throughout the debate, she had a lot of
- 4:10slanted questions that seemed to favor Kamala Harris.
- 4:12It seems that that's the clear bias of the moderators in this
- 4:15debate. That wasn't just my opinion.
- 4:16Tons of people were weighing in and saying that.
- 4:18And people on both sides that basically Kamala Harris had the
- 4:22upper hand in this debate and the moderators helped her have
- 4:24it. That set aside for a moment.
- 4:26Lindsey Davis is asking this question of President Trump,
- 4:29saying, listen, you've changed your position now recently on
- 4:33this set multiple times. And then she goes to say, well,
- 4:35that's why Kamala Harris says you're not to be trusted.
- 4:38Listen, if you are as a politician, have the wrong
- 4:40position on abortion, you're for abortion and then you become
- 4:43pro-life, that actually shows that you are to be trusted
- 4:46because you're willing to reject what the culture and so many
- 4:49politicians are promoting, the killing of babies and you're
- 4:52willing to instead fight for them.
- 4:54So the idea that if you change your position as a politician,
- 4:57that means you can't be trusted, I don't think that is the case.
- 4:59It depends on obviously the circumstances.
- 5:02If you in the past have campaigned on something and then
- 5:05you lie and then you mislead people and you do another, you
- 5:08do something different, that of course can be a reason for
- 5:12people to distrust you. But if you instead have an
- 5:14evolution on something where you used to be pro-choice because
- 5:17that's what everyone was, you thought that was the right thing
- 5:19and then you had an aha moment and realized abortion kills
- 5:22babies, then that is a good step forward.
- 5:26So what actually happened though?
- 5:27And what is Lindsey Davis, the moderator referring to with
- 5:30President Trump? We have been talking about this
- 5:32one, the podcast now for the last few weeks and it was I
- 5:37think because of your voices that were made that were that
- 5:40were heard I think by the Trump campaign.
- 5:43President Trump has now been coming back around more to the
- 5:46pro-life side than he has in the past.
- 5:48What I mean by that is this just in the last few weeks, President
- 5:51Trump had came out in support of abortion pills through JD Vance.
- 5:54These kill 60% of babies in this country.
- 5:57President Trump was coming out saying that he thinks that the
- 6:00heartbeat law in Florida did not allow for enough abortions.
- 6:04But then after a lot of outcry from people like you, he did
- 6:07come out and say that he opposed Amendment 4 in Florida, which is
- 6:12a radical pro abortion law that would permit abortion through
- 6:15all nine months of pregnancy. So Lindsey Davis is right about
- 6:18one thing here as the moderator that President Trump has been
- 6:21flip flopping on on this issue. Let's see what he responds with.
- 6:24Well, the reason I'm doing that vote is because the plan is, as
- 6:28you know, the vote is they have abortion in the ninth month.
- 6:32They even have. And you can look at the governor
- 6:34of West Virginia, the previous governor of West Virginia, not
- 6:37the current governor is doing an excellent job.
- 6:40But the governor before he said the baby will be born and we
- 6:44will decide what to do with the baby.
- 6:46In other words, we'll execute the baby.
- 6:48And that's why I did that, because that predominates,
- 6:51because they're radical. The Democrats are radical in
- 6:53that. And her vice presidential pick,
- 6:56which I think is a horrible pick, by the way, for our
- 6:58country because he is really out of it.
- 7:01But her vice presidential pick says abortion in the ninth month
- 7:05is absolutely fine. He also says execution after
- 7:09birth. It's execution no longer
- 7:11abortion because the baby is born is OK.
- 7:15Right. I think it's important many
- 7:16people didn't know this reference that Trump was
- 7:18President Trump was making at first, but he's talking about
- 7:20Governor Northam, the former governor of Virginia when he
- 7:23said that he would basically let the baby be executed after
- 7:26birth. Who is he talking about?
- 7:28He's talking about a former Virginia governor who made these
- 7:31comments publicly. He said this.
- 7:33He said when we talk, and this is a governor of a former
- 7:36governor of Virginia, He said when we talk about third
- 7:39trimester abortions, these are done with the consent of
- 7:43obviously the mother, with the consent of the physician, more
- 7:46than one physician by the way. And it's done in cases where
- 7:49there may be severe deformities, there may be a fetus that's non
- 7:52viable. And then he's asked, well, what
- 7:54would happen if the baby survives the abortion attempt in
- 7:57your state? And then he responds and says,
- 8:00if a mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would
- 8:03happen. The infant would be delivered.
- 8:06The infant would be kept comfortable.
- 8:08The infant would be resuscitated if that's what the mother and
- 8:12the family desired. And then the discussion would
- 8:14ensue between the physicians and the mother.
- 8:17All of that is language for this.
- 8:19If a baby survives an abortion attempt or is delivered alive,
- 8:24it is up to the doctor and the woman and the family to decide
- 8:28if the baby gets to live. After the baby has survived an
- 8:32abortion attempt or been born, it says the infant would be kept
- 8:36comfortable. We're going to get into this
- 8:38more in the podcast in a few minutes.
- 8:40But there is this language of comfort care, keep the baby
- 8:45comfortable, which is really a euphemism for let the baby die
- 8:50of either suffocation, hunger or neglect alone on a usually a
- 8:54steel operating table in a backroom in the hospital.
- 8:57And that's what is called infanticide.
- 9:01And that's what's being done in states like Minnesota right now
- 9:04after failed abortion attempts, where if the baby's not wanted,
- 9:08then they don't have to resuscitate or give special care
- 9:11to make sure the baby can breathe and can eat and can be
- 9:13warm and kept kept, kept actually alive and said the baby
- 9:17is literally left alone to die. That is called infanticide, my
- 9:21friends. That's what President Trump is
- 9:23referring to here. And that's what Governor Northam
- 9:26was defending with all his euphemistic language about will
- 9:29keep the baby, the infant comfortable.
- 9:32OK, we can keep watching him. For 52 years they've been trying
- 9:35to get Roe V. Wade into the States and through
- 9:40the genius and and heart and strength of six Supreme Court
- 9:46justices, we were able to do that.
- 9:49Now, I believe in the exceptions for rape, incest and life of the
- 9:53mother. I believe strongly and it Ronald
- 9:54Reagan did also 85% of Republicans do exceptions, very
- 9:59important. But we were able to get it and
- 10:01now states are voting on it. And for the first time, you're
- 10:05going to see, look, this is an issue that's torn our country
- 10:09apart for 52 years. Every legal scholar, every
- 10:14Democrat, every Republican, liberal, conservative, they all
- 10:17wanted this issue to be brought back to the states where the
- 10:20people could vote. So this has been President
- 10:22Trump's position here, and this is where we have to push back.
- 10:25He's saying, OK, it's up to the states.
- 10:26We just have to let it to the states.
- 10:27Everybody wanted it in the states all along.
- 10:30That's what we've done. This is tearing the country
- 10:32apart. Just let the states decide, my
- 10:34friends. No one has the right to decide
- 10:37whether a baby lives or dies. Abortion is already
- 10:41unconstitutional. The 14th Amendment in our
- 10:44Constitution says that no state has the right to deprive any
- 10:48person of life without due process.
- 10:52No state has the right to decide that abortion can be legal in
- 10:57their state. That is actually
- 10:58unconstitutional. It's a violation of the
- 11:01fundamental human rights of those babies.
- 11:03So just like slavery was ultimately against the human
- 11:07rights of those that were enslaved, it was not up for the
- 11:10states. It should not have been up for
- 11:12the states to decide. And yet they said, well, we want
- 11:15to decide. We want slavery.
- 11:16And of course, in the end, they said no.
- 11:18That cannot stand. And that needs to be the
- 11:21position. That is the position of justice
- 11:24here, to say, no, just because you're California doesn't mean
- 11:27that you get to allow babies to be killed through all nine
- 11:30months of pregnancy in Florida. You shouldn't be permitting
- 11:33abortions in the first trimester.
- 11:35Pregnancy and abortion is the intentional killing of an
- 11:38innocent child. It's human sacrifice.
- 11:40We need to oppose it loudly. And so this idea that will
- 11:44Republicans and Democrats all agree, just let the states
- 11:46decide. That's not true.
- 11:48There are actually thousands and I I talk with a lot of these
- 11:51lawmakers of politicians and then and and certainly millions
- 11:56of Republicans who believe that abortions always wrong and it's
- 11:59not OK to vote to permit some abortions.
- 12:02That's not like you're right in the democratic process to decide
- 12:05that a group of innocent people live or die.
- 12:08You see what comes before the democratic process, the issues
- 12:11that we get to contend with and vote on as Americans, they need
- 12:15to be issues that are within our purview, that are actually
- 12:18within our jurisdiction. And the reality is no state
- 12:22again, and no individual has the right to decide that an innocent
- 12:25human being is killed without any sort of due process.
- 12:29If there's due process and they're innocent, then they
- 12:31won't be killed, right? But that's not what happens in
- 12:33an abortion. In an abortion, a child is
- 12:36innocent. A child who's helpless is killed
- 12:38because of the wishes of a so-called doctor and abortionist
- 12:41and a mother or a coerced mother, a father, whatever it
- 12:45is. And that's an injustice and it's
- 12:47a violation of our Constitution. So it's so important that we
- 12:51clear this up because let me tell you friends, for those that
- 12:54are fighting for life with me, we are never going to win the
- 12:58fight against the killing of preborn children.
- 13:01If we buy the lie that it's OK for the states to legalize
- 13:05abortion if they want to, we are not going to win this fight.
- 13:08We are going to continue to have the mass slaughter of our most
- 13:11vulnerable if we buy this idea that states have the right to
- 13:16permit abortion. States do not have that right.
- 13:19So let's keep listening. But I think that's very
- 13:21important that we clear this up because unfortunately, President
- 13:24Trump has been pushing this narrative that the overturning
- 13:27of Roe V. Wade is the end.
- 13:29It's the end game of the pearlife movement.
- 13:31Now abortion is in the states. And therefore, you know, be
- 13:34happy and and vote for me for president, right?
- 13:37It's the beginning. It's the beginning because now
- 13:39states no longer have to deal with an unjust Supreme Court
- 13:42decision in protecting life. But the states that are failing
- 13:46to protect life, those states are violating our Constitution.
- 13:50That is the reality. And that's what we need to be
- 13:52saying boldly and loudly, in and out, in and out of season,
- 13:56wherever we go. And that needs to be what
- 13:59informs how we choose our candidates, our political
- 14:02leaders in the future. All right, let's keep listening.
- 14:05Ohio, the vote was somewhat liberal.
- 14:08KS, the vote was somewhat liberal, much more liberal than
- 14:11people would have thought. But each individual state is
- 14:15voting. It's the vote of the people now.
- 14:17It's not tied up in the federal government.
- 14:19I did a great service in doing it.
- 14:20It took courage to do it, and the Supreme Court had great
- 14:23courage in doing it. And I give tremendous credit to
- 14:26those six justices. Just a note here, I know
- 14:29President Trump here wants to be seen as the protagonist and the
- 14:32hero of the movement because, you know, it took great courage
- 14:36for for me to appoint these justices to overturn Roe V Wade.
- 14:39And the reality is the whole conservative movement was
- 14:41working to create this list, the short list of the justices that
- 14:44would be decent justices, right? Better than, you know, hardcore
- 14:48pro abortion justices. But the reality is, again, the
- 14:51overturning of Roe V. Wade wasn't some positive action
- 14:54in terms of enshrining in the Supreme Court decision that
- 14:57these babies have a right to life as our Constitution
- 15:00promises. It was merely undoing the damage
- 15:03of Roe, which prevented states from doing protections.
- 15:06Overturning Roe V Wade doesn't mean that now there's a mandate
- 15:10that states have to permit abortion if that's what they
- 15:13want. Again, let me say this again,
- 15:15it's so important. The over ruling of Roe V Wade,
- 15:17Dobs V. Jackson, was not a mandate to
- 15:21say that states have the right to kill babies if that's what
- 15:24they choose. And that is the
- 15:26misrepresentation here of not only Dobs V.
- 15:29Jackson It's a misrepresentation of the goals of the pro-life
- 15:32movement and even of what it means to be pro-life.
- 15:35What it means to be pro-life is not to say, well, some states
- 15:37can have slavery and some states need to be free.
- 15:39Some states can have abortion. Some states won't have it.
- 15:42What it means to be pro-life is to say every baby deserves to
- 15:44live. I don't care if you're in
- 15:45California, New York or Florida, Texas.
- 15:48I don't care where you are. You have a constitutional right
- 15:50to life and it's the responsibility of local
- 15:53governments, your state government and the federal
- 15:55government all together to work towards protecting your
- 15:58fundamental right to life. That is the end game politically
- 16:03of the Prolink movement is enshrining those rights at every
- 16:06level of government, not just at the state or local level, at the
- 16:10federal level. Because children are at risk
- 16:13everywhere across this country, and we need legal protections
- 16:17for them built into our law, built into our legal system
- 16:20everywhere. OK, let's keep listening to
- 16:22Kamala's response now. Madam Vice President, want to
- 16:25get your response to President Trump?
- 16:26Well, as I said, you're going to hear a bunch of lies, and that's
- 16:29not actually a surprising fact. Let's understand how we got
- 16:33here. Donald Trump hand selected three
- 16:37members of the United States Supreme Court with the intention
- 16:40that they would undo the protections of Roe V.
- 16:42Wade. And they did exactly as he
- 16:45intended. And now in over 20 states, there
- 16:48are Trump abortion bans which may have criminal.
- 16:53It says that she she's accusing President Trump of lying and
- 16:56she's immediately going into lying herself saying that overdo
- 16:59the protections of these states, That's what Roe V Wade would do,
- 17:03would undo the protections. What is she talking about?
- 17:06She's not talking about protections in any meaningful
- 17:08sense of the word protection. She's she's talking about the
- 17:10lack of protection. She's talking about states that
- 17:13in fact were forced to permit abortion, like the state of
- 17:17Texas, They wanted to ban abortion.
- 17:19They were not allowed to ban abortion in their state because
- 17:22Roe V Wade said that abortion is the federal law.
- 17:25It's the law of the land effectively is what Roe V Wade
- 17:27did. So she's a, she's
- 17:29misrepresenting Roe V Wade here, of course, because she's very
- 17:32pro abortion Kamala Harris. But now she's going on to talk
- 17:35about what she's calling Trump abortion bans, which is also a
- 17:39lie. Because the reality is the the
- 17:41abortion bans that exist in this country have nothing to do with
- 17:44President Trump or his name on them.
- 17:46It has to do with the fact that there are thankfully millions of
- 17:49people who recognize that abortion kills a baby and it's
- 17:52it's wrong and it should be banned.
- 17:54And so they have elected representatives, they've elected
- 17:57lawmakers who then are turning around pro-life laws in states
- 18:01like Texas, pro-life laws in states like Idaho.
- 18:04And these pro-life laws are then being used to protect human
- 18:07life. So yes, they were freed to do
- 18:10this by the over ruling of Roe V Wade.
- 18:12But President Trump even and actually we're going to get to
- 18:14this in a minute, even here in this in this display, you know,
- 18:18he's sort of softening on his past and recent pro abortion
- 18:21rhetoric. You're going to hear that.
- 18:23But as recently as a few weeks ago, President Trump has said
- 18:26that he doesn't think that the ban on abortion in Florida goes
- 18:31far enough in terms of allowing babies, very young babies, to be
- 18:35killed by abortion. He thinks that, you know, 5
- 18:38weeks, six weeks is too few weeks.
- 18:41He says he wants there to be more weeks that the baby can
- 18:44live until the baby can be aborted.
- 18:46Meaning it's just giving women five weeks of the baby's life to
- 18:50kill the baby isn't enough. Give the women 78910 weeks of
- 18:53the baby's life. That's what President Trump has
- 18:56said in just the last few weeks. I know it's painful for a lot of
- 18:58you guys to hear this. People that want to go out and,
- 19:01you know, vote cheerfully for Trump because Kamala Harris is
- 19:04such a disaster on human rights and life.
- 19:06But we have to tell the truth. We have to tell the truth about
- 19:09the positions of the Trump fans campaign.
- 19:12And it's some of these positions are diametrically proposed to
- 19:16the pro-life position. So let's keep listening.
- 19:19For a doctor or nurse to provide healthcare in one state, it
- 19:23provides prison for life. Trump abortion bans that make no
- 19:27exception even for rape and incest, which understand what
- 19:31that means. A survivor of a crime of
- 19:34violation to their body does not have the right to make a
- 19:37decision about what happens to their body next.
- 19:40That is immoral and 1 does not have to abandon their faith or
- 19:46deeply held beliefs to agree. The government and Donald Trump
- 19:51certainly should not be telling a woman what to do with her
- 19:55body. What's so?
- 19:56Wrong. Here is Kamala Harris is using
- 19:58the language of morality and even the language of faith.
- 20:01Now this is what Kamala Harris's tactic here is like.
- 20:04Let's talk about morality, people of faith.
- 20:07And what she's advocating for, she makes it sound so good,
- 20:10right? Women's right to their body and
- 20:12helping rape survivors. I'm all for that.
- 20:16I mean, anyone can agree rape survivors deserve help, support,
- 20:20justice. A woman, I have bodily autonomy.
- 20:23No one should hurt my body, harm my body, abuse or abuse my body.
- 20:28Of course we agree with this. But what she's not acknowledging
- 20:32is what an abortion is. An abortion isn't some, you
- 20:36know, me just choosing to go and, you know, take a walk down
- 20:39the street and, you know, go to the dentist and have a, have a
- 20:42cavity filled or a molar removed.
- 20:44Abortion is the intentional destruction of another body, not
- 20:48my body, but another body that might be inside of my body.
- 20:52If I'm pregnant and I was pregnant with my daughter
- 20:54recently, she's five months old now, there was another body
- 20:58inside my body. There was a baby inside of me,
- 21:00another unique individual human life, and I did not have the
- 21:04right to hurt her. I don't have the right to hurt
- 21:06her, just like I don't have the right to hurt her now or anyone
- 21:10has the right to hurt her now because she has the right to her
- 21:12body, to her own bodily autonomy, autonomy and
- 21:16protection. And so this idea that just
- 21:18because a child is dependent on me as a woman, I'm pregnant with
- 21:22a a new life, then I have the right to kill that child is, is
- 21:25a lie. We don't own children.
- 21:28Parents do not own their children.
- 21:30They're not property. We are entrusted with our
- 21:32children even when it seems inconvenient or difficult.
- 21:36And that's one of the reasons why the way why something like
- 21:39adoption is so amazing, right, guys?
- 21:41Adoption is so beautiful because if in the case of, you know,
- 21:46sexual violence or great distress, it's some sort of
- 21:51emergency situation, mental health challenges, a mother
- 21:55says, I, I can't raise, I don't want to raise this child.
- 21:58I can't take the responsibility for this child.
- 22:01That's why there's literally waiting lists of hundreds of
- 22:04thousands of couples who would love to adopt A new baby and
- 22:08take on the new responsibility of of this child's life.
- 22:12That's why we're so pro adoption in our movement.
- 22:15It's such an and beautiful solution to the crime of
- 22:18abortion. Of course, Kamala Harris is not
- 22:21acknowledging any of this. Her narrative is so set, which
- 22:25is that as a woman, you need abortion.
- 22:28It's your right. That's the only thing that she's
- 22:31willing to say here, and she's not willing to acknowledge at
- 22:35all the rights of the baby. All right, let's keep listening.
- 22:38You want to talk about this is what people wanted, pregnant
- 22:42women who want to carry a pregnancy to term suffering from
- 22:46a miscarriage, being denied care in an emergency room because the
- 22:50healthcare providers are afraid they might go to jail, and she's
- 22:53bleeding out in a car in the past.
- 22:55This is a lie. This is such an evil lie.
- 22:59This one breaks my heart so much.
- 23:00I've had a miscarriage. I've had multiple friends who
- 23:03have miscarriages repeat miscarriage.
- 23:06It almost. It really chokes me up actually,
- 23:08this lie, because it's so cynical, what Kamala Harris is
- 23:12doing here. She is using the tragedy of a
- 23:16miscarriage, which is the darkest days of 1's life for
- 23:19many people who've experienced miscarriage.
- 23:21It was for me. And she's using the pain of a
- 23:24miscarriage. And in a miscarriage, the baby
- 23:26dies naturally. The baby passes away.
- 23:31You take of your ultrasound, they look for the heartbeat.
- 23:33They can't find because the baby's heart has stopped
- 23:35beating. The baby is dead.
- 23:37That's a miscarriage. And there is nothing further
- 23:43from more different from abortion than a miscarriage,
- 23:46because in an abortion there's a living baby that's killed,
- 23:51that's murdered. In a miscarriage, there was a
- 23:54baby that was tragically lost. It's like the difference between
- 23:59somebody burying a human being alive, taking someone, and
- 24:04burying, let's say, a 30 year old man, burying him in the
- 24:07ground alive to kill him, versus a family coming alongside this
- 24:1230 year old man that they're mourning their brother, their
- 24:15son, whatever it is, and mourning him because he passed
- 24:18away from a heart attack, let's say.
- 24:20And so they're taking his dead body and putting it in a
- 24:23cemetery and burying his dead body.
- 24:26Do you see the moral difference between taking a person and
- 24:30burying them alive and taking a person who has passed away and
- 24:35giving them a proper burial? That, my friends, is the
- 24:38difference between miscarriage care and abortion.
- 24:40But here Kamala Harris is conflating the two.
- 24:43And then she's going a step further and she's saying that
- 24:47states that protect life, that ban abortion are actually
- 24:51letting women who are suffering miscarriages die and and be or
- 24:56be seriously harmed. And I have studied every one of
- 24:59these cases that had popped up in the media.
- 25:02And I'll talk about Ryan Hamilton.
- 25:03It was a big Texas case just a couple months ago.
- 25:05He was a man on Twitter. He came out on Axe and now all
- 25:08these pro abortion advocates are behind him.
- 25:10He said he and his wife, she was miscarrying.
- 25:13She went to the hospital and in her rural town, it was actually
- 25:16the urgent care 1st in her town in Texas.
- 25:19And they declined giving her a surgery to remove the baby who'd
- 25:23already passed away. They gave her the abortion pill
- 25:25instead to help her pass the dead baby and Long story short
- 25:29his wife ended up having serious hemorrhaging and bleeding that
- 25:31was life threatening and so he blames the failure of pro-life
- 25:36laws. He says well because abortion is
- 25:38restricted that's why this happened to my wife.
- 25:40Which is completely false. The reason that someone might
- 25:44have a trouble with their miscarriage has nothing to do
- 25:48with pro-life laws because even in the case of Ryan Hamilton, as
- 25:52just an example, and his wife in Texas, they prescribed one of
- 25:55the drugs used in the abortion pill to help pass an already
- 25:58dead baby. It's a it's a medication that
- 26:01helps you basically have a miscarriage for forcing you to
- 26:05go into labor if it can be very early term.
- 26:07And that same medication can be used on a baby who's living.
- 26:12But even the most pro-life states like Texas understand
- 26:15that if the baby has already passed away, this is not an
- 26:17abortion. It's not prohibited by law and
- 26:20the doctor was even in his own story, this man's story gave him
- 26:23the abortion pill, which is the same medication uses the
- 26:27abortion pill. It's not used to kill the baby.
- 26:29It's used to pass a dead baby. And then he still blames the
- 26:32pro-life law in Texas because he said he wanted a surgical
- 26:34procedure and that's not what they gave them gave him.
- 26:36But if you dig under Ryan Hamilton store, you'll find that
- 26:39actually surgical procedure was not standard of care for a woman
- 26:43presenting with a a baby who passed away, that she hadn't
- 26:46passed the baby yet. You don't go straight to a
- 26:47surgical procedure. So I'm getting in the weeds
- 26:50here, guys. But the point is this is a bald
- 26:52faced lie being told on the presidential debate stage by
- 26:56Kamala Harris. She's fear mongering.
- 26:59She's saying you're going to die if you have an abortion ban and
- 27:01you're going to be miscarrying and you're not going to get
- 27:03care. That is a bold faced lie.
- 27:06There is not a single pro-life law in the books that prevents
- 27:09in any way, shape or form miscarriage care.
- 27:11But if the baby isn't miscarried yet, if the baby's heart is
- 27:14still bleeding, then the standard of care should be in a
- 27:18pro-life America, to care for both the mother and the baby and
- 27:22to help both of them and to try to save both of their lives.
- 27:24That's what Kamala Harris objects to.
- 27:27That's what she's mad about. Of course she's not saying that.
- 27:29Let's keep listening. She didn't want that.
- 27:32Her husband didn't want that. A 12 or 13 year old survivor of
- 27:36incest being forced to carry a pregnancy to term.
- 27:41They don't want that. And I've pledged to you, when
- 27:45Congress passes a bill to put back in place the protections of
- 27:50Roe V Wade, as President of the United States, I will proudly
- 27:54sign it in to law. So Kamala Harris is saying that
- 27:57she's going to sign into law, a law that would make abortion
- 28:00legal across the country for any reason.
- 28:02That's what she's pledging to do.
- 28:03But she's using, she trots out rape and incest.
- 28:06This is this is always the tactic.
- 28:08It's such a cynical tactic. Rape and incest are absolutely
- 28:13horrific and horrible. If you know someone who's
- 28:15endured sexual violence, you, you understand this or you maybe
- 28:18have experienced it yourself, you understand it's, it's
- 28:20absolutely abject horrible. It's, it's object, it's, it's,
- 28:25it's one of the worst evils that anyone could endure.
- 28:29And she's using it to justify killing babies.
- 28:32The reality is though, in the case of rape or incest, abortion
- 28:36doesn't take away the trauma of the rape or the act of incest.
- 28:40Abortion doesn't bring healing to the victim.
- 28:42If there's pregnancy, if there's a new baby, a new life
- 28:45conceived. Abortion doesn't somehow create
- 28:48justice for the mother. All that of an abortion does is
- 28:52takes out lethal violence, basically the death penalty on a
- 28:56new life on an innocent third party.
- 29:00And we're afraid to talk about this sometimes, even among pro
- 29:04lifers, because we know how horrible rape is and how
- 29:06devastating sexual violence is. And we don't want to in any way
- 29:09seem like we're condoning it or not taking it seriously.
- 29:13But the reality is one of the reasons rape and incest are so
- 29:16horrible is because life is so precious and sex is so sacred
- 29:20and our bodies are so sacred. And so we can adamantly say, of
- 29:24course it's horrible, Kamala Harris, of course it's horrible.
- 29:27And how dare you use rape and incest as the justification for
- 29:31the shedding of innocent blood, because there's no justification
- 29:35for doing that. And it is also a lie to say that
- 29:38a woman is going to be healed by an abortion or that's going to
- 29:41take away the trauma of her rape.
- 29:42It's not. Abortion is another act of
- 29:45violence against her body, too, as well as a lethal act of
- 29:49violence against that baby. So again, I know these things.
- 29:53You know, in polite society, people don't want to talk about
- 29:55this. They don't want to say it.
- 29:57But I think about my friend, you know, Rebecca Keseling.
- 30:00I think about how she was conceived in rape, a violent
- 30:03rape of her mother. And her mother at the time tried
- 30:06to even get an abortion, but it was against the law at the time
- 30:09in the state that she was in. And she wasn't able to get an
- 30:11abortion. And she ended up delivering
- 30:13Rebecca and placing her for adoption.
- 30:15And later on with thank Rebecca and thank the law that she
- 30:19wasn't able to have the abortion and kill this innocent child as
- 30:24some sort of solution for the rape that she suffered.
- 30:26And that Rebecca's life, her beautiful life, this smart,
- 30:30strong woman, she ended up being a lawyer and having her own
- 30:32children, that this life was worth it.
- 30:36It was her life was worth fighting for.
- 30:39So these are the stories that need to be told every time the
- 30:42the pro abortion side trots out these tragic, heartbreaking
- 30:44stories of rape survivors. We need to tell the stories of
- 30:48children conceived in rape. We need to tell the story of
- 30:51somebody like Liana, my friend Liana, who was horribly raped.
- 30:56She was abused by gang raped by a group of men at age 13, and
- 31:02she ended up getting pregnant. And the doctor told her, well,
- 31:06I'm going to give you an abortion because everyone thinks
- 31:09we'll just give them an abortion, that'll solve the
- 31:10problem. And she said to the doctor, will
- 31:13the abortion take away the memory of what happened to me, a
- 31:16memory of the rape? And the doctor was like, no, she
- 31:20said, so why would I? Why would I do this abortion?
- 31:23Why would I do? Why would I do this abortion and
- 31:25take this, this child's life? She had this incredible,
- 31:28beautiful moral clarity. Now she goes around the world
- 31:31speaking about the value of every child's life, including
- 31:34children conceived in rape. So I digress.
- 31:37We're not going to go too far down this rabbit hole talking
- 31:39about this, but it's incredibly important to push back against
- 31:43this lie from Kamala Harris that miscarriage and sexual violence
- 31:49is somehow a justification for killing babies.
- 31:53Let's keep listening. If Donald Trump were to be re
- 31:56elected, he will sign a national abortion ban.
- 31:59Understand in his project 2025 there would be a national
- 32:02abortion, a monitor that would be monitoring your pregnancies,
- 32:06your miscarriages. I think the American people
- 32:09believe that certain freedoms, in particular the freedom to
- 32:13make decisions about one's own body, should not be made by the
- 32:17government. Thank you, Vice President
- 32:19Harris. Well, there she goes again.
- 32:21It's a lie. I'm not signing a ban, and
- 32:24there's no reason to sign a ban because we've gotten what
- 32:27everybody wanted, Democrats, Republicans and everybody.
- 32:31Else I wish President Trump had called her out on the lies about
- 32:35rape and such. Miscarriage and study says
- 32:38you're right. I don't want to sign up.
- 32:39You know, I'm not going to sign an abortion ban.
- 32:42If you don't support making abortion illegal, you're not
- 32:45pro-life. If you don't, if you're you
- 32:48think it's OK for the government to stand by, will abortion
- 32:52clinics crop up in your cities that kill babies in places like
- 32:55California through all nine months of pregnancy?
- 32:57And you're OK with that? You're OK with the government
- 33:02protecting the killing of babies by allowing abortion clinics to
- 33:06operate in your communities. Imagine if there are clinics
- 33:09operating in your community that killed 2 year olds and people
- 33:13just took their two year old in to be killed.
- 33:14That was their, that's what they chose.
- 33:17The two year olds were a lot of trouble.
- 33:19They were a lot of burden, economically, socially,
- 33:22mentally, whatever. And imagine if you live in a
- 33:25city where 2 year olds are being taken in to be killed and the
- 33:28government said, well, it's not our responsibility to get
- 33:30involved. Let let them do what they want.
- 33:34That is an anti life, unjust, horrific policy.
- 33:37And that is exactly what is happening across the country.
- 33:41Only the babies are a couple years younger.
- 33:44They're preborn babies, but they have the same moral value.
- 33:47They have the same human value as a born child.
- 33:50But that's what we're permitting.
- 33:52So it's so disappointing that President Trump, who has called
- 33:54himself the most prolive president, that's what he named,
- 33:57he he sometimes likes to use, is saying that he wouldn't if if
- 34:01Congress sent him an abortion ban, he wouldn't sign it
- 34:03immediately. Of course you should sign an
- 34:06abortion ban. Certain things should never be
- 34:08permitted, like killing babies, like murder, like rape, like
- 34:12theft and also killing babies. And so this was a disappointing
- 34:17moment in the debate. And I know some people are
- 34:19saying, well, listen, you know, don't be so hard on Trump.
- 34:23You know, he's doing his best. Kamala is so much worse.
- 34:26It's our job as pro A voters to speak the truth and to ask more
- 34:30from our candidates. President Trump has signaled in
- 34:33the past that he he's willing to listen and he signaled in the
- 34:36past that he wants your vote. If he wants your vote, then we
- 34:40should say, of course, the answer should be a cheerful, of
- 34:42course I want to sign. I mean, imagine if President
- 34:45Trump had said in this debate and said, oh, Kamala Harris is
- 34:48lying. She's lying about late term
- 34:50abortion. She's lying about miscarriage
- 34:51care. It's a bunch of lies.
- 34:53And by the way, of course we should protect human beings.
- 34:56These are little babies and it's our job to protect them.
- 35:00What a refreshing answer that would have been.
- 35:03So we need to continue to ask that from our candidates,
- 35:08regardless of their political party even.
- 35:09But we should continue to demand that as pro-life voters from
- 35:12candidates. I do think it is possible.
- 35:15I do think we will see a day when we have a pro-life country.
- 35:19But the only way we're going to get there is if pro-life people
- 35:22demand it from their politicians as well as doing the day in day
- 35:26out work to change culture. But we have to demand it from
- 35:29our politicians. Let's keep listening.
- 35:32And every legal scholar wanted it to be brought back into the
- 35:35states. And the states are voting.
- 35:38And it may take a little time, but for 52 years, this issue has
- 35:42torn our country apart. And they've wanted it back in
- 35:46the states. And I did something that nobody
- 35:49thought was possible. The states are now voting what
- 35:52she says is an absolute lie. And as far as the abortion ban,
- 35:57no, I'm not in favor of abortion bid, but it doesn't matter
- 36:00because this issue has now been taken over by the states.
- 36:04Would you veto a national abortion ban if it?
- 36:06Well, I won't have to because again.
- 36:08And two things. Number one, she said she'll go
- 36:10back to Congress. She'll never get the vote.
- 36:12It's impossible for her to get the vote, especially now with
- 36:15the 5050 and essentially 5050 in both Senate and the House.
- 36:20She's not going to get the vote. She can't get the vote.
- 36:22She won't even come close to it. So it's just talk.
- 36:24You know what it reminds me of when they said they're going to
- 36:26get student loans terminated and it ended up being a total
- 36:29catastrophe, the Student Loans and then her.
- 36:33So here Trump is pivoting. You can kind of tell he's
- 36:36uncomfortable. He's sort of pivoting away from
- 36:38the topic. But he makes this comment.
- 36:40He says, you know, for 50 years the country was torn apart.
- 36:43He says it was torn apart, right?
- 36:46And the country's torn apart today, there are almost 3000
- 36:50abortions a day in this country. This idea that, well, overturn
- 36:55Roe V. Wade, let California have
- 36:58abortion through all nine months, and then Florida, well,
- 37:01we don't like Florida's heartbeat law, Trump says.
- 37:03So let it at least have abortions legal and throughout
- 37:05the entire first trimester. That will be some sort of peace.
- 37:08We'll have peace then in this country like Mother Teresa says.
- 37:12I said this on the on the live last week, guys.
- 37:14Mother Teresa, the greatest destroyer of peace in the world
- 37:17is the cry of the innocent unborn child.
- 37:20I can tell you one thing. We will not have peace in this
- 37:22country ever until we eradicate abortion.
- 37:26So, you know, Trump's trying to kind of find a piece, find some
- 37:29compromise, find some moderation.
- 37:31You can't not create moderation with the killing, the slaughter
- 37:34of babies. You just can't.
- 37:35It's a black and white issue. They're dead or they're alive.
- 37:38They're killed or they're protected.
- 37:40They're human beings. And until we are confident in
- 37:46saying this, no matter who our audience is, whether it's an
- 37:50election or not, and not just making it a partisan issue,
- 37:53like, well, we can't stand Kamala Harris.
- 37:55So we're going to call her out when she says bad stuff.
- 37:57But if President Trump says it, then I'm not going to say a word
- 38:00because, you know, maybe some people will think he's less
- 38:03pro-life than he really is. Is that honest?
- 38:06Is that actually going to help people in the long run become
- 38:09pro-life? Is that really going to be a
- 38:11winning strategy for helping our country have the reckoning that
- 38:15it needs with the killing that abortion is?
- 38:18I don't think so. So that's why I'm so proud of so
- 38:20many people who are listening to the show, who are willing to go
- 38:23out and speak the truth and who are willing to educate and her
- 38:26willing to call for something better from the one candidate
- 38:30that is at least asking for their vote, which would be
- 38:32President Trump. So thank you for doing that.
- 38:35All right, we're going to pivot here to Taylor Swift because
- 38:38after this debate, there was a lot more to the debate.
- 38:39Of course, everything was discussed from the economy to
- 38:42immigration, foreign wars. We're going to set that all
- 38:46aside for a moment and look at some of the aftermath of the of
- 38:50the debate last night because arguably the world's biggest
- 38:53superstar came out Taylor Swift and she announced that she is
- 38:57now backing surprise surprise, Kamala Harris.
- 39:01Before we talk about what she said exactly, I want to thank
- 39:03our other sponsor who has seven weeks coffee.

- 40:31go to Taylor Swift's comments here.
- 40:34So she came out arguably the world's biggest superstar and
- 40:37she, she says, like many of you, I watched the debate tonight.
- 40:41If you haven't already, now is a great time to do your research
- 40:44on the issues at hand and the stances these candidates take on
- 40:47the topics that matter to you the most.
- 40:50As a voter, I make sure to watch and read everything I can about
- 40:53their proposed policies and plans for the country.
- 40:56And then she goes on to explain what she likes about the
- 41:01candidates and what she likes particularly about Tim Walls and
- 41:05Kamala Harris. And by the way, this is very
- 41:07interesting because she's sort of saying begrudgingly that she
- 41:12supports Kamala Harris, but it's more that she actually supports
- 41:15Tim Walz is her position. It's not so much about Kamala
- 41:18Harris as it is about Tim Walz. And so she says, I've done my
- 41:22research and I've made my choice.
- 41:24I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.
- 41:27I'm voting for Kamala Harris because the fights for the
- 41:29rights and causes, I believe need a warrior.
- 41:31She's steady handed. She's a gifted leader.
- 41:33But then she goes on to say that she was so heartened and
- 41:37impressed by Kamala Select collection of running mate Tim
- 41:40Walz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ plus rights, IVF and a
- 41:45woman's right to her own body for decades.
- 41:49And she signs it Taylor Swift, Childless cat lady.
- 41:51Which is a bit of a jab at JD Swift's comments about childless
- 41:55cat ladies. It was just so sad to see this
- 42:00because she's saying that a woman's right to her own body
- 42:03for decades. She's saying that the reason she
- 42:05likes Tim Walz so much is because LGBTQ plus rights and a
- 42:09woman's right to her own body. First of all, you got to know
- 42:12Minnesota has some of the most LAX laws when it comes to
- 42:15transitioning minors, children being trans.
- 42:18So that's a separate issue. But this is one of the radicals
- 42:22in the Democratic Party, Tim Walz, on this issue.
- 42:24He's OK with the transitioning of minors, which can involve
- 42:28puberty blockers and body altering surgeries, life
- 42:31altering surgeries. But she uses this language, a
- 42:34woman's right to her own body in Taylor Swift's mentality.
- 42:39And so many people I think today that are misled.
- 42:41They think that abortion is a woman's right, that this whole
- 42:45fight of enshrining the protection of abortion is
- 42:49somehow a woman's right. And Tim Walz's policy on this
- 42:54when he was the governor of Minnesota was to sign into law
- 42:57the most pro abortion law the state had ever seen, which would
- 43:00permit abortion for any reason through all nine months of
- 43:02pregnancy, even to the point of depriving care for born alive
- 43:06infants after an abortion attempt.
- 43:08And they're actually 5 babies that actually survived abortion
- 43:11attempts. Well, Tim Walz was governor that
- 43:14were left to die because those children aren't even protected
- 43:17by the law in Tim Walz's own state.
- 43:20This is who Taylor Swift is coming out to support.
- 43:23And I just have to believe that if people just knew, this is my,
- 43:25my hope that if more people knew the facts, because I really
- 43:29believe that Taylor Swift has never really grappled with what
- 43:31an abortion is. I'm guess going to guess she's
- 43:33never heard from a former abortionist Explain it to her.
- 43:36I'm going to guess she's never watched an abortion procedure
- 43:38video. I'm going to give her that
- 43:39benefit of the doubt, that she is just in that brainwashed
- 43:42space of thinking that we as women need reproductive health,
- 43:46and that's abortion. And it's only a good thing and
- 43:48it's good for women. And it's my right.
- 43:51And she has not really grappled that this with the reality that
- 43:54this is the killing of a human being.
- 43:56And I hope and I pray that if we educate more people, if we build
- 44:01the institutions and the networks of people who know the
- 44:03truth, who can share the truth and activate others who know the
- 44:06truth, I think we can make tremendous change.
- 44:10And so I'm going to pray for Taylor Swift's conversion.
- 44:13We're going to pray for the conversion of all the childless
- 44:16cat ladies, as she calls herself, and just all people on
- 44:19this issue. And I just want to thank
- 44:21everyone listening because I know the people listening to
- 44:23this show, many of you are very passionate already about this,
- 44:27and you're willing to speak the truth no matter what, even if
- 44:29it's not politically popular. And it is only that truth
- 44:33speaking that is actually going to change hearts and minds in
- 44:36the end, and it's going to set people free.
- 44:39So I pray for Taylor Swift and I just want to urge all of you to
- 44:42pray. And we're going to close with
- 44:43this. I know this is a very just
- 44:46painful, heartbreaking moment in American politics.
- 44:50These two politicians supporting abortions.
- 44:54Even President Trump with some of his overtures to the pro-life
- 44:57community, he still wants abortion to be permitted in the
- 45:00first trimester. He still wants these exceptions.
- 45:03And you had Kamala Harris, who, you know, in my lifetime, it's
- 45:07been Hillary Clinton on that debate stage running for
- 45:09president of the United States. Now it's Kamala Harris, both of
- 45:12them raging pro aborts. I mean, it's heartbreaking.
- 45:16It's truly heartbreaking. But I believe it's going to
- 45:19change if you and I are willing to build the movement and speak
- 45:22the truth and call it out. So thank you guys for doing
- 45:25that. Thank you all for listening to
- 45:27this episode of the Lila Rose Podcast.
- 45:28We'll be back again soon live to keep on covering these crazy
- 45:32events, these crazy times that we are in.

- 45:37helping stop the evil and helping convert souls.
- 45:41We need that daily conversion too.
