Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / SHOCK STORY: Gabbard Refers Obama-Era Officials for Criminal Probe
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: It was a bombshell press conference at the White House,
- 0:05Speaker 1: Tulsi Gabbard coming out and talking about this possible criminal
- 0:10Speaker 1: referral to the Department of Justice for an investigation, and
- 0:14Speaker 1: it all revolves around Russia collusion, and now it involves
- 0:18Speaker 1: a former president by the name of Barack Obama. I
- 0:22Speaker 1: want you to take a listen to what Tulsi Gabbard
- 0:25Speaker 1: had to say at the White House Press briefing room.
- 0:29Speaker 1: She's the Director of National Intelligence and she is now
- 0:32Speaker 1: officially hinted that former President Barack Obama has in fact
- 0:36Speaker 1: been referred to the Department of Justice for a criminal investigation. Now,
- 0:41Speaker 1: she did not address the constitutional obstacles or a prosecution,
- 0:47Speaker 1: but what she did do is lay out the facts.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Here she is, in her own words at the White
- 0:53Speaker 1: House podium.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Thank you very much, good afternoon. At President Trump's direction
- 0:58Speaker 2: and with the support and coordination the House Intelligence Committee
- 1:01Speaker 2: Chairman Rick Crawford, today we've released a declassified oversight Majority
- 1:06Speaker 2: Staff report that was produced in September of twenty twenty.
- 1:11Speaker 2: The stunning revelations that we are releasing today should be
- 1:14Speaker 2: of concern to every American. This is not about Democrats, Republicans,
- 1:18Speaker 2: This has to do with the integrity of our democratic
- 1:21Speaker 2: republic and American voters having faith that the votes cast
- 1:25Speaker 2: will count. There is irrefutable evidence that detail how President
- 1:30Speaker 2: Obama and his national security team directed the creation of
- 1:34Speaker 2: an intelligence community assessment that they knew was false. They
- 1:39Speaker 2: knew it would promote this contrived narrative that Russia interfered
- 1:43Speaker 2: in the twenty sixteen election to help President Trump win,
- 1:46Speaker 2: selling it to the American people as though it were true.
- 1:50Speaker 2: It wasn't. The report that we released today shows in
- 1:53Speaker 2: great detail how they carried this out. They manufactured findings
- 1:58Speaker 2: from shoddy sources, suppressed evidence, and credible intelligence that disproved
- 2:04Speaker 2: their false claims. They disobeyed traditional trade craft intelligence community standards,
- 2:11Speaker 2: and withheld the truth from the American people. In doing so,
- 2:15Speaker 2: they conspired to subvert the will of the American people
- 2:18Speaker 2: who elected Donald Trump in that election in November of
- 2:20Speaker 2: twenty sixteen. They worked with their partners in the media
- 2:24Speaker 2: to promote this lie, ultimately to undermine the legitimacy of
- 2:27Speaker 2: President Trump and launching what would be a year's long
- 2:31Speaker 2: coup against him and his administration. We're here today because
- 2:36Speaker 2: the American people deserve the truth. They deserve accountability, and
- 2:40Speaker 2: they deserve justice. The records that we released on Friday
- 2:45Speaker 2: that were ode and I records, Senator Chuck Grassley's release
- 2:48Speaker 2: on Monday of what is known as the Clinton Annex,
- 2:51Speaker 2: which was an appendix to the Department of Justice Office
- 2:54Speaker 2: of Inspector General's twenty eighteen report, as well as the
- 2:58Speaker 2: House Intelligence Committees Oversight Majority Oversight report that we're releasing today,
- 3:02Speaker 2: all come back to and confirm the same report. There
- 3:07Speaker 2: was a gross politicization and manipulation of intelligence by the
- 3:11Speaker 2: Obama administration intended to delegitimize President Trump even before he
- 3:16Speaker 2: was inaugurated, ultimately usurping the will of the American people.
- 3:21Speaker 2: I'm going to go over the key findings from the
- 3:23Speaker 2: House Intelligence Report, which investigated the claims that were made
- 3:28Speaker 2: by an intelligence community assessment ordered by President Obama and
- 3:32Speaker 2: published in January of twenty seventeen. First, Putin's principal interests
- 3:37Speaker 2: relating to the twenty sixteen election were to undermine faith
- 3:40Speaker 2: in the US democratic process, not show any preference of
- 3:44Speaker 2: a certain candidate. In fact, this report shows Putin held
- 3:49Speaker 2: back leaking, held back from leaking compromising material on Hillary Clinton,
- 3:54Speaker 2: prior to the election, instead planning to release it after
- 3:58Speaker 2: the election to weaken what Moscow viewed as an inevitable
- 4:02Speaker 2: Clinton presidency. In the January twenty seventeen Intelligence Community assessment
- 4:07Speaker 2: that President Obama ordered John Brennan, whose CIA director at
- 4:11Speaker 2: the time, and the Intelligence Community intentionally suppressed intelligence that
- 4:16Speaker 2: showed Putin was saving the most damaging material that he
- 4:19Speaker 2: had in his possession about Hillary Clinton until after her
- 4:23Speaker 2: potential and likely victory. The report goes into great detail
- 4:28Speaker 2: about the information that Russia and Putin had which on
- 4:32Speaker 2: Hillary Clinton, which included possible criminal acts like secret meetings
- 4:37Speaker 2: with multiple named US religious organizations in which State Department
- 4:41Speaker 2: officials offered, in exchange for supporting Secretary Clinton's campaign for
- 4:46Speaker 2: the presidency, significant increases in financing from the State Department.
- 4:52Speaker 2: They also had documents that showed the patronage of the
- 4:55Speaker 2: State Department to State Department employees who would go and
- 4:59Speaker 2: support Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign. There were high level DNC
- 5:04Speaker 2: emails that detailed evidence of Hillary's quote psycho emotional problems,
- 5:09Speaker 2: uncontrolled fits of anger, aggression, and cheerfulness, and that then
- 5:14Speaker 2: Secretary Clinton was allegedly on a daily regiment of heavy tranquilizers.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Then CIA Director Brennan and the Intelligence community mischaracterized intelligence
- 5:24Speaker 2: and relied on dubious, substandard sources to create a contrived,
- 5:28Speaker 2: false narrative that Putin developed a quote unquote clear preference
- 5:31Speaker 2: for Trump. Brennan and the ICE misled lawmakers by referencing
- 5:36Speaker 2: the debunked Steele dossier to assess quote unquote Russia's plans
- 5:40Speaker 2: and intentions, falsely suggesting that this dossier had intelligence value
- 5:45Speaker 2: when he knew that it was discredited. The intelligence community
- 5:49Speaker 2: excluded significant intelligence and ignored or selectively quoted reliable intelligence
- 5:54Speaker 2: that contradicted the Intelligence Community assessment's key findings on Putin's
- 5:59Speaker 2: alleged support for Trump. Including this intelligence reporting would have
- 6:04Speaker 2: exposed the ICA's claim as implausible, if not ridiculous. The
- 6:10Speaker 2: Intelligence Community assessment omitted reliably sourced information, such as how
- 6:14Speaker 2: some Russian intelligence officials were quote unquote planning for candidate
- 6:18Speaker 2: Hillary Clinton's victory, while others assessed neither Trump nor Clinton
- 6:23Speaker 2: would respect Russia's interests, as was reflected in the Ode
- 6:26Speaker 2: and I documents that we released on Friday. Multiple intelligence
- 6:29Speaker 2: community assessments released in the months leading up to the
- 6:32Speaker 2: November twenty sixteen election concluded that Russia had neither the
- 6:36Speaker 2: intent nor capability to impact the outcome of the US election.
- 6:41Speaker 2: On December fifth of twenty sixteen, the FBI and od
- 6:44Speaker 2: and I gave the House Intelligence Committee its first post
- 6:47Speaker 2: election classified briefing, in which there was no mention of
- 6:51Speaker 2: Putin aspiring to elect Trump by either agency. The Presidential
- 6:56Speaker 2: Daily Brief, drafted on December eighth of twenty sixteen, stated
- 7:00Speaker 2: that no Russian or criminal actors impacted vote counts. This
- 7:05Speaker 2: document was pulled just hours before it was to be
- 7:07Speaker 2: published due to quote unquote new guidance. If it had
- 7:11Speaker 2: been published, it would have been briefed to both President
- 7:14Speaker 2: Obama and President elect Donald Trump. On December ninth, twenty sixteen,
- 7:19Speaker 2: a National Security Council meeting was called to gather President
- 7:22Speaker 2: Obama's senior national security officials, which included CIA Director Brennan
- 7:27Speaker 2: then Obama, dn I, James Clapper, Susan Rice, and others.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Following that secret meeting, DNI, Clapper's assistant sent an email
- 7:35Speaker 2: to the intelligence community with the subject line potus tasking
- 7:39Speaker 2: on Russia election medaling, tasking ODNI leaders to create a
- 7:43Speaker 2: new assessment per the President's request. The House Intelligence Committee
- 7:49Speaker 2: Oversite report that we released today reveals that quote unlike
- 7:52Speaker 2: routine intelligence community analysis, the Intelligence Community Assessment was a
- 7:56Speaker 2: high profile product ordered by the President and President Obama.
- 8:02Speaker 2: It directed senior intelligence community agency heads and created an
- 8:07Speaker 2: intelligence community assessment limited to just five analysts using one
- 8:12Speaker 2: principal drafter. This is not something that occurs in the
- 8:16Speaker 2: normal path of producing an intelligence community assessment that reflects
- 8:21Speaker 2: the views across the intelligence community. The production of this
- 8:26Speaker 2: Intelligence community assessment was subject to unusual directives directly from
- 8:29Speaker 2: the President and senior political appointees, especially the former Director
- 8:34Speaker 2: of the CIA, John Brennan. The House Intelligence Committee Oversight
- 8:39Speaker 2: report also shows how later that same day, on December ninth,
- 8:42Speaker 2: Brennan ordered the publication of quote unquote substandard reporting on
- 8:46Speaker 2: Russian activities.
- 8:48Speaker 1: A bombshell at the White House Press briefing room today
- 8:51Speaker 1: is Tulsi Gabber, the Director of National Intelligence, laying out
- 8:55Speaker 1: evidence of the conspiracy that was against Donald Trump, that
- 8:59Speaker 1: was put out there by none other than President Barack Obama,
- 9:04Speaker 1: and the evidence that has been found related to this
- 9:07Speaker 1: directly points to President Obama. Here is more of what
- 9:11Speaker 1: she had to say at the White House Press Briefing Room.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Had previously been withheld from publication of prior assessments because
- 9:18Speaker 2: the information was judged quote to have not met long
- 9:21Speaker 2: standing publication standards. Some of the information later used in
- 9:26Speaker 2: the Obama ordered assessment, over the objections of veteran CIA
- 9:30Speaker 2: officers was quote unquote unclear or from unknown sources. The
- 9:36Speaker 2: Intelligence Committee's oversight report reveals that CIA Director Brennan overruled
- 9:41Speaker 2: senior CIA officers who challenged the Obama ordered intelligence assessment,
- 9:47Speaker 2: stating quote, we don't have direct information that Putin wanted
- 9:50Speaker 2: to get Trump elected. Yet the Obama directed assessment was
- 9:55Speaker 2: published on January sixth, twenty seventeen, which explicitly stated, quote,
- 10:00Speaker 2: we assess Putin and the Russian government aspired to help
- 10:02Speaker 2: President elect Trump's election chances when possible by discrediting Secretary
- 10:07Speaker 2: Clinton and publicly contrasting her unfavorably to him, end of quote.
- 10:13Speaker 2: The CIA and FBI, then led by John Brennan and
- 10:18Speaker 2: James Comy, expressed high confidence in this judgment, while the
- 10:22Speaker 2: NSA expressed moderate confidence. Yet, as the report we released
- 10:27Speaker 2: today shows, the ICA the Intelligence Community assessment did not
- 10:31Speaker 2: cite any report, where Putin indicated helping Trump win was
- 10:36Speaker 2: an objective. The opposite is true with regards to the
- 10:41Speaker 2: Steele dossier. We now know that one of the source
- 10:44Speaker 2: documents that the Obama administration used in the creation of
- 10:47Speaker 2: this intelligence assessment in January of twenty seventeen was none
- 10:51Speaker 2: other than the discredited, unverified Steele dossier. The House Intel
- 10:56Speaker 2: report states, quote, contradicting public claims by then CIA Director
- 11:00Speaker 2: Brennan that the dossier was not in any way incorporated
- 11:04Speaker 2: into this intelligence assessment. The dossier was referenced in the
- 11:08Speaker 2: intelligence assessment's main body text and further detailed in a
- 11:11Speaker 2: two page assessment annex. John Brennan lied, and he denied
- 11:17Speaker 2: using this dossier in this intelligence assessment that President Obama
- 11:20Speaker 2: ordered because he knew it was discredited, it was a
- 11:23Speaker 2: politically motivated, manufactured document. He directed senior CIA officials to
- 11:29Speaker 2: use it anyway. CIA officer told the House Intelligence Committee
- 11:36Speaker 2: staff as they investigated this quote, the director of the CIA,
- 11:40Speaker 2: John Brennan, refused to remove it, and, when confronted with
- 11:44Speaker 2: the dossier's many flaws, responded, quote, yes, but doesn't it
- 11:49Speaker 2: ring true? Even the bipartisan Senate Select Committee on Intelligence
- 11:54Speaker 2: report published in twenty twenty, criticized the FBI's handling of
- 11:57Speaker 2: the Steele dossier, noting its completely unverified nature and purposeful
- 12:02Speaker 2: side stepping of intelligence community procedures in its use. Now
- 12:07Speaker 2: President Obama, Hillary Clinton, John Brennan, James Clapper, James Coby,
- 12:11Speaker 2: and others, including their mouthpieces in the media, knowingly lied
- 12:15Speaker 2: as they repeated the contrived narrative that was created in
- 12:19Speaker 2: this January twenty seventeen intelligence community assessment with high confidence
- 12:24Speaker 2: as though it were fact. John Brennan, as CIA Director,
- 12:28Speaker 2: stated in a memo to his agency staff in December
- 12:31Speaker 2: of twenty sixteen, saying, quote, there is strong consensus among
- 12:35Speaker 2: us on the scope, nature, and intent of Russian interference
- 12:40Speaker 2: in our presidential elected election. This was reported by NBC
- 12:45Speaker 2: News confirming that Brennan, along with James Clapper and James Comey,
- 12:48Speaker 2: agreed with the CIA's assessment that Russia intervened to help
- 12:52Speaker 2: Trump win the presidency. As Obama's Director of National Intelligence,
- 12:56Speaker 2: James Clapper was tasked with overseeing the creation of this
- 13:00Speaker 2: assessment in January twenty seventeen by President Obama, and he
- 13:04Speaker 2: expressed confidence in its findings in a twenty eighteen interview
- 13:08Speaker 2: with the Harvard Gazette, he talked about how he provided
- 13:12Speaker 2: Trump with the same classified assessment that President Obama received,
- 13:16Speaker 2: which included the high confidence judgment that putin directly ordered
- 13:20Speaker 2: the hacking and election interference. Clapper then went on to add,
- 13:24Speaker 2: I think they, the Russians, actually influenced the outcome. This
- 13:30Speaker 2: is a brief summary of the details that you'll find
- 13:32Speaker 2: within the House Majority Staff's report in their investigation into
- 13:38Speaker 2: the Obama directed January twenty seventeen intelligence community assessment that
- 13:43Speaker 2: leads us to the very same conclusion that we announced
- 13:45Speaker 2: in the release of our documents on Friday. The implications
- 13:49Speaker 2: of this are far reaching and have to do with
- 13:52Speaker 2: the integrity of our democratic republic. It has to do
- 13:56Speaker 2: with an outgoing president taking action to manufacture intelligence to
- 14:02Speaker 2: undermine and usurp the will of the American people in
- 14:05Speaker 2: that election and launch what would be a year's long
- 14:08Speaker 2: coup against the incoming president of United Donald Trump. Thank you.
- 14:14Speaker 1: This is shocking, but also not surprising based on what
- 14:19Speaker 1: we know about what the Left has done to try
- 14:22Speaker 1: to take out Donald Trump. But we are hearing the
- 14:25Speaker 1: name of Barack Obama and exactly what he was trying
- 14:29Speaker 1: to do. And if you look at the shocking main
- 14:33Speaker 1: points here, the Director of National Intelligence is accusing the
- 14:37Speaker 1: former president Barack Obama and his team of a treasonous conspiracy,
- 14:44Speaker 1: saying that they clearly manufactured intelligence assessments, accusing Russia of
- 14:50Speaker 1: aiding Donald Trump in twenty sixteen, and intentionally, as she
- 14:55Speaker 1: described it, intentionally was the word that she used to
- 15:01Speaker 1: mislead the American people. All Right, I want to take

- 17:23Speaker 1: Not only did Tulsi claim that Obama administration knowingly lied
- 17:27Speaker 1: to the American people and fabricated all of the intel
- 17:31Speaker 1: on Russia, but this is the first time we've seen
- 17:34Speaker 1: through evidence, real accusations that Barack Obama and his entire
- 17:40Speaker 1: national security team directed a false, intelligent assessment. She is
- 17:47Speaker 1: now using the word treasonous to describe it. Now they're
- 17:51Speaker 1: backing this up with actual documents and a referral, apparently
- 17:56Speaker 1: to the DOJ and the FBI. Gabbart said she referred
- 17:59Speaker 1: the declassified documents the Justice Department and the FBI for
- 18:04Speaker 1: possible criminal investigation into the Obama era officials. She also
- 18:10Speaker 1: used the word irrefutable evidence, asserting that the documents prove
- 18:16Speaker 1: and provide irrefutable evidence that Barack Obama ordered the fabrication
- 18:23Speaker 1: and that is something that all of us need to
- 18:26Speaker 1: get our head around. A former president of the United
- 18:29Speaker 1: States America while he's president, wanting to overthrow the will
- 18:33Speaker 1: of the people, ordering the fabrication of evidence to then
- 18:39Speaker 1: have a coup attempt against Donald Trump. Now I want
- 18:43Speaker 1: to be clear, I think there's people that we believed
- 18:46Speaker 1: were in the deep State that we're doing this. This
- 18:49Speaker 1: is the first time we're seeing this come down as
- 18:51Speaker 1: a directive at the highest level of the United States government.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Now Obama's office is pushing back. Obama's spokesman dismissed these
- 18:59Speaker 1: allegations is quote bizarre and weak and quote a distraction
- 19:03Speaker 1: from other issues like the Jeffrey Epstein file. Not to
- 19:07Speaker 1: be clear, if that is your best talking point, if
- 19:10Speaker 1: you're the Obama team right now, you have very big issues. Now.
- 19:16Speaker 1: There's also critics that are coming out and they're circling
- 19:19Speaker 1: the wagon. Senate Intelligence Vice Chair Mark Werner called the
- 19:22Speaker 1: move a reckless effort quote to a peace Trump risking
- 19:26Speaker 1: exposure of sensitive sources and methods. So the deep state
- 19:30Speaker 1: is fighting back right now. Now. Trump's strong support is
- 19:34Speaker 1: coming from people around him who experience everything that happened
- 19:37Speaker 1: him in his first administration and also when he was
- 19:40Speaker 1: out of office. Let's not forget the rating of mar Lago.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Let's not forget the indictments of President Donald Trump. Let's
- 19:48Speaker 1: not forget they went after his family and his businesses,
- 19:51Speaker 1: and they lied about multiple things to try to take
- 19:54Speaker 1: him out of the race so that he could not
- 19:57Speaker 1: be the president of the United States of America. You
- 20:00Speaker 1: look at all of this, and what Gabbert delivered was
- 20:04Speaker 1: a sweeping expose on the Obama team and their intelligence narrative.
- 20:11Speaker 1: She made it clear through the evidence that she put
- 20:14Speaker 1: out there that this was nothing but a politically motivated
- 20:18Speaker 1: attack orchestrated at the highest levels of our government. That
- 20:24Speaker 1: is why she used the word treasonists. And passing all
- 20:27Speaker 1: of this material to law enforcement for investigation is also
- 20:31Speaker 1: a very, very big moment. The question now is how
- 20:36Speaker 1: will Democrats respond and what will they do to fight
- 20:40Speaker 1: back Barack Obama? James Comer, James Comy, I should say,
- 20:46Speaker 1: and all of these others, the CI director, d and
- 20:51Speaker 1: I director, they all knew Russia did interfere in the
- 20:54Speaker 1: twenty sixteen election. They knew it because they fabricated the
- 20:57Speaker 1: intelligence to justify a multi year long effort to overthrow
- 21:03Speaker 1: Donald Trump. This was a deliberate campaign, I would argue
- 21:08Speaker 1: of treason. It was a deliberate campaign of treason aimed
- 21:11Speaker 1: at removing a legitimately elected president of the United States
- 21:17Speaker 1: of America. And what Tulsa Gabbert is now doing, is
- 21:20Speaker 1: she's exposing this treason. What's even more shocking now is
- 21:25Speaker 1: the fact that we have the names and the only
- 21:29Speaker 1: thing left to do is to hold these people accountable.
- 21:35Speaker 1: We also have other information, and I'm gonna let you
- 21:38Speaker 1: hear some of this in a moment, but I want
- 21:40Speaker 1: to also put this in your brain so you understand
- 21:43Speaker 1: this isn't just the part I just described, which is
- 21:46Speaker 1: bigger than Watergate or any other political scandal of my
- 21:49Speaker 1: lifetime in politics. But we also now know that Hillary Clinton,
- 21:53Speaker 1: and again, listen very carefully to what I'm about to
- 21:55Speaker 1: tell you Hillary Clinton's twenty sixteen campaign officials, we are
- 22:01Speaker 1: now being told we're in direct contact, not indirect, Okay,
- 22:08Speaker 1: not like through middlemen. They were in direct contact with
- 22:12Speaker 1: the White House, with the Obama administration to dig up
- 22:17Speaker 1: dirt on Donald Trump and attempting to link him to Russia.
- 22:23Speaker 1: This scandal runs extremely deep, folks, Clinton aids. By the way,
- 22:30Speaker 1: we now know for a fact, on a campaign, we're
- 22:34Speaker 1: texting and emailing the White House. We're texting and emailing
- 22:37Speaker 1: the State Department, We're texting and emailing the National Security
- 22:42Speaker 1: Council and many other agencies. I also want to be
- 22:45Speaker 1: clear what I'm calling for. I'm calling for people to
- 22:48Speaker 1: be arrested, because if there are no arrests, then nothing changes.
- 22:52Speaker 1: And people think they can just do this whenever they
- 22:55Speaker 1: don't like the outcome an election. By the way, if
- 22:57Speaker 1: a Democrat wins an election, the election should not be
- 23:01Speaker 1: stolen by Republicans. Whoever the American people choose to be
- 23:08Speaker 1: the president United States of America, whether it's a Jimmy Carter,
- 23:10Speaker 1: a Barack Obama, a Bill Clinton, Joe Biden, if they
- 23:16Speaker 1: choose that person in a free and fair election, then
- 23:21Speaker 1: that person, okay, should be the president United States of America.
- 23:27Speaker 1: And no one, and I mean no one should be
- 23:31Speaker 1: able to overthrow the will of the people or the
- 23:35Speaker 1: will of the voters, period, full stop, period, full stop. Now,
- 23:43Speaker 1: I want to go back to what I was playing
- 23:44Speaker 1: for you, and again the clips I've been playing were
- 23:46Speaker 1: from two thousand and eight teen. You heard Jihan Ratcliffeho's
- 23:51Speaker 1: now the CIA director, saying this. You had Devin nunya
- 23:54Speaker 1: Is saying this as well. He was on Intelligence Committee
- 23:57Speaker 1: in the House at the time, and they were saying
- 23:59Speaker 1: exactly what now has become reality. We have the receipts,
- 24:03Speaker 1: the paperwork for it. Keep listening.
- 24:06Speaker 3: How involved with John Brennan?
- 24:08Speaker 4: Totally involved? Was totally John Brennan was one of the architects.
- 24:12Speaker 4: In my opinion. You look at Brennan, you look at Clapper,
- 24:16Speaker 4: you look at them. But ultimately the president knew everything.
- 24:21Speaker 4: The president knew everything. President Obama and Vice President Biden,
- 24:25Speaker 4: they knew everything.
- 24:26Speaker 5: And Comy and Brennan and Clapper, they all were terrible
- 24:31Speaker 5: and they lied to Congress. They spied on my campaign,
- 24:36Speaker 5: which is treason. They spied both before and after I won.
- 24:41Speaker 3: Join me now is the woman herself, the Director of
- 24:44Speaker 3: National Intelligence, Telsea Gabbard, Director, thanks very much for being
- 24:47Speaker 3: here this morning.
- 24:48Speaker 6: Good morning, Maria.
- 24:49Speaker 3: Thank you. What was the most damning thing that you
- 24:53Speaker 3: learned after looking through all of these declassified documents?
- 24:57Speaker 2: Maria, the implications of this are frankly thing short of historic.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Over one hundred documents that we released on Friday really
- 25:06Speaker 2: detail and provide evidence of how this treasonous conspiracy was
- 25:12Speaker 2: directed by President Obama just weeks before he was due
- 25:16Speaker 2: to leave office, after President Trump had already gotten elected.
- 25:21Speaker 6: This is not a Democrat or Republican issue. This is
- 25:23Speaker 6: an issue that is so serious it should concern every
- 25:26Speaker 6: single American because it has to do with the integrity
- 25:30Speaker 6: of our democratic republic. What we saw occur here, as
- 25:34Speaker 6: the documents we released detailed, was that we had a
- 25:36Speaker 6: sitting president of the United States and his cabinet and
- 25:39Speaker 6: leadership team, quite frankly, who were not happy with the
- 25:42Speaker 6: fact that President Trump had won the election, that the
- 25:45Speaker 6: American people had chosen Donald J. Trump to be the
- 25:48Speaker 6: next president commander in chief of the United States, and
- 25:51Speaker 6: so they decided that they would do everything possible to
- 25:55Speaker 6: try to undermine his ability to do what voters task
- 25:58Speaker 6: President Trump to do. So, creating this piece of manufactured
- 26:03Speaker 6: intelligence that claims that Russia had helped Donald Trump get
- 26:08Speaker 6: elected contradicted every other assessment that had been made previously
- 26:12Speaker 6: in the months leading up to the election that said
- 26:15Speaker 6: exactly the opposite, that Russia neither had neither the intent
- 26:18Speaker 6: nor the capability to try to quote unquote hack the
- 26:21Speaker 6: United States election for the presidency of the United States.
- 26:25Speaker 6: So the effect of what President Obama and his senior
- 26:29Speaker 6: national security team did was subvert the will of the
- 26:33Speaker 6: American people, undermining our democratic republic and enacting what would
- 26:39Speaker 6: be essentially a year's long coup against President Trump, who
- 26:43Speaker 6: was duly elected by the American people.
- 26:47Speaker 1: I want to go back for a moment to put
- 26:49Speaker 1: this in context. If you look at the confirmation hearings
- 26:54Speaker 1: of the Trump administration, do you remember how nasty it
- 26:59Speaker 1: got withoud Told Gabbard, who's now the Director of National Intelligence.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Do you remember how much Democrats are going after her?
- 27:05Speaker 1: And there was somebody saying, well, it's because she used
- 27:07Speaker 1: to be a Democrat.
- 27:08Speaker 5: No, no, no.
- 27:09Speaker 1: The reason why it got so nasty with Tulsi Gabbard
- 27:12Speaker 1: is because they knew exactly what she was going to do,
- 27:16Speaker 1: and they knew exactly what she was going to uncover,
- 27:18Speaker 1: and they knew that she would expose the biggest scandal
- 27:21Speaker 1: in my lifetime in politics. You want to know why
- 27:26Speaker 1: the left went after her so hard to try to
- 27:28Speaker 1: derail Remember, I mean, it was touch and go or
- 27:30Speaker 1: be like, No, I don't know if Tulsi Gabbard's gonna
- 27:32Speaker 1: make it right, Like that's what was said over and
- 27:35Speaker 1: over again. I don't know if Tulsi's gonna make it through.
- 27:39Speaker 1: And why was that a possibility? Because the left didn't
- 27:45Speaker 1: want her in that job. The left wanted to do
- 27:49Speaker 1: everything that it could to make sure that this never
- 27:57Speaker 1: ever saw the light of day. And if that meant right, like,
- 28:01Speaker 1: let's be clear, what did that mean. It meant Tulsi
- 28:06Speaker 1: can't get the job, because if Tulsi gets the job,
- 28:08Speaker 1: we're screwed. If Tulsi gets in here and she does
- 28:12Speaker 1: and digs the way that believe we believe that she
- 28:15Speaker 1: will dig, If she goes in and she digs the
- 28:18Speaker 1: way that we think she will, then we're in deep, deep, deep,
- 28:23Speaker 1: deep deep trouble. Fast forward to where we are right now.
- 28:28Speaker 1: This is it, folks, we're here. I hope you'll take
