Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: We are continuing to get word that Joe Biden doesn't
- 0:06Speaker 1: know who he is, where he is, or what he's
- 0:08Speaker 1: even saying anymore. Joe Biden named a American and said
- 0:15Speaker 1: the American is with us today at the Rose Garden party,
- 0:18Speaker 1: despite still being held by the terraces in Israel or
- 0:23Speaker 1: by Hamas terras that say, in Gaza.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Minus, you're working around the clock to free their main hostages,
- 0:28Speaker 2: just as we are freed hostages already. And here with
- 0:31Speaker 2: this today is hersh Goldberg, Poland and is still he
- 0:36Speaker 2: is not here with us, but he's still being held
- 0:38Speaker 2: by Amas. And Rachel and John are here with his
- 0:41Speaker 2: stand up guys, Their love, strafing compassion inspire the entire world.
- 0:50Speaker 2: I pledge to both of you and I mean it,
- 0:52Speaker 2: and I know you know, Mom that I mean it,
- 0:55Speaker 2: that I will not rest until we bring your loved
- 0:57Speaker 2: one home.
- 0:58Speaker 3: So he's here.
- 0:59Speaker 1: I know he's not here, but the parents are here. Okay,
- 1:01Speaker 1: well here, parents, stand up real quick. Sorry for that
- 1:03Speaker 1: awkward moment saying your son's here being held by terrorists.
- 1:05Speaker 3: Don't worry. I'm on top of.
- 1:07Speaker 1: It, right, I'm on top of it now. All this
- 1:12Speaker 1: happening as a Trump trial is going on. The five
- 1:15Speaker 1: yesterday on Fox made a great point. We finally have
- 1:18Speaker 1: a crime and the Trump case. Take a listen, nineteen
- 1:23Speaker 1: days into this trial, we finally have a crime larceny.
- 1:28Speaker 4: He stole sixty grand from his clients and then he.
- 1:32Speaker 3: Took the rest.
- 1:33Speaker 5: He paid twenty grand in cash in a brown paper
- 1:37Speaker 5: bag to the contractor he was stiffing.
- 1:40Speaker 6: This is the guy, this is the star witness.
- 1:44Speaker 7: So now the jury sees Trump as a victim.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Finally a crime, folks, Finally a crime has been committed.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Donald Trump coming out calling this, as he described it,
- 1:56Speaker 1: a witch hunt.
- 1:57Speaker 3: Listen, nobody's ever seen anything.
- 2:00Speaker 7: This is a witchild this.
- 2:03Speaker 8: Is a child This is to damage cricket Joe by
- 2:07Speaker 8: the worst president in the history of our country by far
- 2:10Speaker 8: by far, to damage his political public.
- 2:14Speaker 9: That's all.
- 2:15Speaker 8: This is highly political judge, a totally conflicted judge who
- 2:22Speaker 8: just is something that nobody's ever seen it, and the
- 2:25Speaker 8: press is not happy. I don't imagine they just got
- 2:28Speaker 8: thrown out of a morthhouse.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Nobody's ever seen any play, no one's ever seen anything
- 2:33Speaker 1: quite like it. The president there, what do we now
- 2:36Speaker 1: know about the star witness and where the people on
- 2:38Speaker 1: the stand know or the I should say, the people
- 2:40Speaker 1: that are there, what do they know about this? Michael
- 2:42Speaker 1: Cohen his resume, he is a convicted felon, he is
- 2:47Speaker 1: a perjurer. He is the Democrat star witness and a
- 2:50Speaker 1: law fair campaign against President Trump. And now he's admitting, Yeah,
- 2:55Speaker 1: I stole money. I stole money. Michael Cohen went asked
- 2:59Speaker 1: if he stole from the Trump organization. Yes, sir, yes, sir, yeah,
- 3:05Speaker 1: I stole that money.
- 3:06Speaker 3: I sure did. I stole it.
- 3:09Speaker 1: So he lies and the media is having to deal
- 3:12Speaker 1: with this, right like, this is a pretty darn big lie.
- 3:16Speaker 1: And I want you to hear what CNN says about
- 3:19Speaker 1: Michael Cohen stealing from the Trump organization.
- 3:23Speaker 3: Not a lawyer, just a common guy, just a humble
- 3:25Speaker 3: cave man.
- 3:26Speaker 4: But it seems like it seems like they should have
- 3:29Speaker 4: hit this harder a week ago.
- 3:31Speaker 7: Oh absolutely, And the point you just made about yourself,
- 3:35Speaker 7: that's what the jury is, except for two jurors don't
- 3:39Speaker 7: know this stuff, and so they need to have it,
- 3:42Speaker 7: you know, really presented to them. And so the fact
- 3:44Speaker 7: that it was minimized in that way by the prosecution,
- 3:48Speaker 7: I think it presents a very good opportunity in closing,
- 3:52Speaker 7: for they knew about this, they minimized it. The prosecutor
- 3:56Speaker 7: misled this jury. That's what I would are.
- 3:58Speaker 3: A you're allowed to say that, yes, sir.
- 4:01Speaker 6: The way this was raised and addressed on direct is
- 4:04Speaker 6: what Julia Louis Dreyfus would call YadA, YadA, YadA. I mean,
- 4:07Speaker 6: here's what Michael Cohen, Here's what Michael Cohen said.
- 4:09Speaker 10: Explained George Costanza.
- 4:11Speaker 6: No, no, no, it was a layine. It was it
- 4:13Speaker 6: was l YadA, YadA, YadA. Here's the direct testimony that
- 4:18Speaker 6: the way Michael Cohen explained what happened, especially a girl
- 4:20Speaker 6: that Stanza was dating, Michael Cohen explained this whole thing. Quote,
- 4:26Speaker 6: that's what was owed. And I didn't feel mister Trump
- 4:29Speaker 6: deserved the difference. That's a lot different than I stole
- 4:32Speaker 6: sixty thousand dollars from my boss on the transaction at
- 4:36Speaker 6: the heart of this case. And by the way, the
- 4:38Speaker 6: fact that he was never charged with larsening is important
- 4:42Speaker 6: because stealing sixty thousand dollars through fraud, which will be
- 4:46Speaker 6: larceny in New York State, is more serious of a
- 4:48Speaker 6: crime than falsifying business.
- 4:50Speaker 10: It's just one of those instances where I'm really looking
- 4:53Speaker 10: forward to talking to our reporter, our reporters who are
- 4:57Speaker 10: in there to see I understand, and I take your point,
- 4:59Speaker 10: Laura out or all of you really about playing to
- 5:03Speaker 10: the jury but also being careful about reading too much
- 5:06Speaker 10: into the reaction of the jury. I think the answer
- 5:09Speaker 10: to your question about whether or not they really did
- 5:12Speaker 10: absorb what the prosecution said last week or two weeks
- 5:16Speaker 10: ago will has to be noted by their reaction today
- 5:22Speaker 10: in some way, shape or form, don't you think.
- 5:24Speaker 1: By the way, I love this, I love how they're like, oh,
- 5:26Speaker 1: let's laugh about Seinfeld and talk about that for a second.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Would they have ever done that?
- 5:31Speaker 1: If this was switched the other way around, that a
- 5:33Speaker 1: Republican lied on the stand, they'd be going wall to
- 5:35Speaker 1: wall massive And they're like, oh crap, our favorite guy
- 5:39Speaker 1: who we've given countless hours of airtime to, Michael Cohen,
- 5:43Speaker 1: just admitted to stealing from the Trump organization. And then
- 5:46Speaker 1: you have a cn AN analyst that says this is
- 5:48Speaker 1: more serious of a crime than what they're accusing Donald
- 5:51Speaker 1: Trump of. It's grand largny basically, and then saying this
- 5:55Speaker 1: is like major go to jail stuff, and yet they
- 5:57Speaker 1: didn't charge Michael.
- 5:59Speaker 3: Cohen with it and they knew it, right, they knew it.
- 6:03Speaker 1: So how do you kind of, you know, soften this
- 6:06Speaker 1: for the viewers that hate Trump and CNN you talk
- 6:09Speaker 1: about YadA YadA, YadA, and this is like some sort
- 6:14Speaker 1: of Seinfeld episode.
- 6:16Speaker 3: And you all laugh about it. You take all that away.
- 6:19Speaker 1: And what CNN said was the defense scored a stunning
- 6:22Speaker 1: revelation that Michael Cohen stole money from the Trump organization
- 6:26Speaker 1: and was not charged with that crime. That's the other
- 6:31Speaker 1: part about this that you need to understand. And I
- 6:33Speaker 1: want you to hear what Trey Gowdy had to say
- 6:35Speaker 1: over at Fox. He's in the courtroom. He's actually in there.
- 6:38Speaker 1: He came out to do this interview on Fox. He's
- 6:41Speaker 1: one of the hosts there now former congressmen. And listen
- 6:43Speaker 1: to what he said about the jury.
- 6:46Speaker 11: And I thought his lawyers quite candidly. They got Coen
- 6:51Speaker 11: to admit that he lied, that he had a motive
- 6:54Speaker 11: to lie, that he would continue to lie in the future,
- 6:57Speaker 11: and then they moved on. They spent most of their
- 6:59Speaker 11: time on pretty esetaic things that I think, in the
- 7:02Speaker 11: final analysis, aren't going to move the jury. So juries,
- 7:06Speaker 11: that's what I'll watch. It's the only twelve opinions of matter.
- 7:09Speaker 11: They seemed a little bit I don't want to say disinterested,
- 7:13Speaker 11: because they weren't, but they seemed to be doing this
- 7:15Speaker 11: with their hands, Like, come on and get to the
- 7:17Speaker 11: good stuff. What we care about is if you can
- 7:21Speaker 11: show us that Cohen still is motivated by a desire
- 7:25Speaker 11: to hurt Donald Trump, we're interested. But if you're going
- 7:29Speaker 11: back to a conversation that may or may not be
- 7:31Speaker 11: relevant from four years ago, move on. I just kind
- 7:34Speaker 11: of mentally saw them doing this a little bit.
- 7:36Speaker 12: So Trey, if you go back to the original indictment,
- 7:39Speaker 12: the language says with intent to defraud and intent to
- 7:41Speaker 12: commit another crime, but it never articulates what the quote
- 7:45Speaker 12: another crime is. You spend a lot of time in
- 7:48Speaker 12: a courtman as a federal prosecutor.
- 7:50Speaker 3: Did you ever.
- 7:50Speaker 12: Take somebody to court when the defense didn't know what
- 7:55Speaker 12: crime that person was committed with?
- 8:00Speaker 11: I would never have taken this matter to court in
- 8:03Speaker 11: the first place. I don't think I mean defense passed
- 8:06Speaker 11: on it. Keep that in mind. I mean the fence
- 8:08Speaker 11: right down the street in the southern disc of New
- 8:10Speaker 11: York took a pass on this, So this is a
- 8:13Speaker 11: political motivation, but the jury's not going to hear that.
- 8:17Speaker 11: So the defense team still needs to treat this like
- 8:20Speaker 11: it is, like it is a prosecution that exposes the
- 8:25Speaker 11: former president, and they need to treat it like that.
- 8:28Speaker 11: There is a political component to it, for sure, but
- 8:31Speaker 11: for these twelve, if he wants a not guilty verdict,
- 8:36Speaker 11: you got to kind of put that aside.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Trey Gutty makes an interesting point there. Michael Cohen is
- 8:41Speaker 1: actually telling the truth about all of his lies. That's rare,
- 8:44Speaker 1: and the only people they need to make sure I
- 8:46Speaker 1: understand this as he described it, and he's absolutely right,
- 8:49Speaker 1: is the twelve people in the box, and it needs
- 8:52Speaker 1: to be exploited to make it clear to them that, hey,
- 8:56Speaker 1: this guy still has a motivation to lie about Donald
- 8:59Speaker 1: Trump and in fact has made millions of dollars off
- 9:01Speaker 1: of it, which he admitted to today. Fox News last
- 9:06Speaker 1: night Bob Costello testifying President Trump knew nothing about Michael
- 9:10Speaker 1: Cohen's payments. So again this is another example of the
- 9:15Speaker 1: media not covering the story. That's why I have to
- 9:17Speaker 1: do it for you.
- 9:18Speaker 13: Listen, Stello right now on the witness stand is talking
- 9:21Speaker 13: about his conversations with Michael Cohen back in twenty eighteen.
- 9:24Speaker 13: He described Cohen as manic during those conversations, pacing back
- 9:28Speaker 13: and forth, and he just said that Cohen told him
- 9:31Speaker 13: during that time that Trump knew nothing about the Stormy
- 9:34Speaker 13: Daniels deal.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Knew nothing about the Stormy Daniels deal nothing.
- 9:40Speaker 3: That's not all.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Listen to this as well again about the trial and
- 9:44Speaker 1: what's come out in the last twelve hours.
- 9:46Speaker 14: It's hard to understand how the judge is not going
- 9:49Speaker 14: to grant a directed verdict since there's no evidence that
- 9:53Speaker 14: links President Trump to any record keeping whatsoever. I just
- 9:57Speaker 14: don't understand it, and I don't think colleagues and all
- 10:00Speaker 14: the people that I worked with in the DA's office
- 10:03Speaker 14: have all said to me, Eric, go out and talk
- 10:05Speaker 14: about this. You have the experience to address it. And
- 10:09Speaker 14: they're actually all unanimously, whether they like President Trump or
- 10:13Speaker 14: never Trumper's have said they're embarrassed by the DA's office
- 10:17Speaker 14: bring in this type of case and has destroyed the
- 10:20Speaker 14: integrity of my old office.
- 10:22Speaker 3: It's hard.
- 10:23Speaker 1: This is a guy that used to work in the
- 10:25Speaker 1: Day's office, the same DA's office is bringing these charges
- 10:27Speaker 1: now CNN having to deal with a fallout as well,
- 10:30Speaker 1: like how do we cover this?
- 10:32Speaker 3: What do we say? How bad? Is it?
- 10:34Speaker 15: Truly amazing stuff that's going on right now, some truly
- 10:37Speaker 15: studying moments in the courtroom, to be sure. Earlier today,
- 10:41Speaker 15: Cohen admitting to stashing tens of thousands of dollars from
- 10:45Speaker 15: Trump back in twenty sixteen that was intended to go
- 10:48Speaker 15: to a technology company. Trump attorney Todd Blanche asking him
- 10:52Speaker 15: directly and I'm quoting now, so you stole from the
- 10:55Speaker 15: Trump organization? Cohen replying quote, yes, sir.
- 11:00Speaker 3: Truly, yes, sir, I stole.
- 11:03Speaker 1: CNN having to read that on the air, I mean,
- 11:08Speaker 1: this is incredible. My Hemingway saying this on Fox News
- 11:12Speaker 1: as well, about what this means is the defense wraps or
- 11:15Speaker 1: cross examination of Cohen.
- 11:17Speaker 16: Really are in a stunning moment in American history. We've
- 11:19Speaker 16: never experienced anything like this before. This is something we
- 11:23Speaker 16: usually associate with the Soviet Union or Venezuela or a
- 11:26Speaker 16: third world country where one political party is trying to
- 11:29Speaker 16: imprison and bankrupt their top political opponent, keeping him off
- 11:33Speaker 16: the ballot, putting him through show trials, all sorts of
- 11:36Speaker 16: trumped up charges all for political gain. Now, it really
- 11:40Speaker 16: are in a stunning moment.
- 11:42Speaker 1: I mean, She's right, it's a stunning moment. Guy Benson,
- 11:46Speaker 1: a friend of mine at Fox, saying this to Harris
- 11:48Speaker 1: Faulkner about the case.
- 11:50Speaker 4: The number of times I have heard the word devastating,
- 11:53Speaker 4: as Carrie just used in a description of Michael Cohen's testimony,
- 11:58Speaker 4: as in devastating to the prosecution, both on our air
- 12:01Speaker 4: and on even some of our competitors in recent days.
- 12:04Speaker 4: You get the sense that this is really going poorly
- 12:08Speaker 4: for Alvin Bragg.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Yeah, really going poorly. And the moment that he had
- 12:12Speaker 1: to admit to this, the way that Fox described it
- 12:16Speaker 1: and just reading the transcript was exactly what they should
- 12:19Speaker 1: have done. The way that everybody in the media should
- 12:22Speaker 1: have handled this. ABCNBCCBS did not handle it this way.
- 12:26Speaker 5: Listen, Finch and Cohen confirms that he owed Redfinch fifty
- 12:31Speaker 5: grand and never paid the full cash. Trump's attorney Bland says,
- 12:36Speaker 5: you stole from the Trump organization. Cohen says, yes, sir.
- 12:40Speaker 5: He also confirms lying to Alan Weisselberg. I don't know
- 12:44Speaker 5: how many of that is on the list, but that's
- 12:47Speaker 5: another prevarication, and Cohen says he never pleaded guilty to larceny.
- 12:51Speaker 5: On they go, Blanche presses Cohen, you did seal from
- 12:54Speaker 5: the Trump organization based upon the expected reimbursement of Redfinch,
- 12:57Speaker 5: and he says, yes, sir, so that's Finch.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Yes, sir, I stole CNN then saying this after they
- 13:05Speaker 1: got the transcript. Listen carefully, it was only four well
- 13:09Speaker 1: about five seconds.
- 13:10Speaker 3: Listen to their gut check.
- 13:12Speaker 6: This has given such ammunition as to possibly fatally undermine
- 13:16Speaker 6: the prosecution's case.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Fatally undermining the prosecution's case. They knew he was a scumbag.
- 13:25Speaker 1: They go to the next person CNN. Was the next
- 13:27Speaker 1: person CNN on the panel say right, because they got
- 13:29Speaker 1: all these panelists right that know everything?
- 13:32Speaker 3: Would the next one say this practic?
- 13:34Speaker 10: But this is significant because they appear to have caught
- 13:37Speaker 10: Cohen in another.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Lie, another lie, like yeah, lied earlier. It's another lie.
- 13:44Speaker 1: So we'll have to figure this out.
- 13:46Speaker 3: Another lie.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Your star witness lying under oath, are admitting to stealing
- 13:51Speaker 1: from and making four plus million dollars off being anti Trump.
- 13:55Speaker 1: That's another part of the story. He admitted, Yeah, I
- 13:57Speaker 1: made over four million dollars being a Trump hater. That's
- 14:00Speaker 1: how much money Michael Cohen's made off TikTok and the
- 14:02Speaker 1: other crap that he's doing that is hating Trump. It's
- 14:05Speaker 1: made every four million dollars doing it. All right, let
- 14:10Speaker 1: me take a moment and talk to you real quick
- 14:11Speaker 1: about your retirement and inflation and the eroding of the
- 14:15Speaker 1: power of the dollar. Right now, inflation is well above
- 14:19Speaker 1: what the Fed's target rate is.
- 14:21Speaker 3: You know what's happened.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Consumer prices are much higher than they were last year,
- 14:26Speaker 1: or the year before and the year before that. That's
- 14:28Speaker 1: why all of us need a financial plan that ensures
- 14:31Speaker 1: that money that we save today will be enough for
- 14:34Speaker 1: us tomorrow. And that's why I've diversified my investments to
- 14:37Speaker 1: include gold and silver. Now, there are a lot of
- 14:40Speaker 1: gold and silver companies. You hear them every day if
- 14:43Speaker 1: you listen to conservative podcasts or talk radio, if you
- 14:47Speaker 1: watch TV conservative networks, you'll see tons of companies. Well,
- 14:51Speaker 1: let me tell you about Freedom Gold USA. Reason why
- 14:54Speaker 1: I love them. They preach protection and diversifying your assets.
- 14:58Speaker 1: They will not tell you to put all your money
- 14:59Speaker 1: in golden silver. Now here's the other thing that is
- 15:02Speaker 1: really important. To you, you work hard for your money,
- 15:04Speaker 1: just like I do. And on average they charge twenty
- 15:07Speaker 1: five to thirty percent less than most major gold and
- 15:11Speaker 1: silver firms. So the ones that you hear from, they're
- 15:15Speaker 1: gonna charge you, on average twenty five to thirty percent
- 15:19Speaker 1: more than what you're gonna pay when you call my
- 15:22Speaker 1: friends at freedom Goold USA. Now you can take control
- 15:25Speaker 1: your financial future right now, and you can also get

- 16:02Speaker 3: Also net and Yahoo.
- 16:04Speaker 1: This morning, he went on ABC News to do an
- 16:07Speaker 1: interview on what's happening with Israel. He laid out a
- 16:10Speaker 1: new plan for Israel, making it very clear. He also
- 16:14Speaker 1: went on Good Morning America and talking about what exactly
- 16:18Speaker 1: is happening right now I'm going to play that for
- 16:21Speaker 1: you coming up in a moment the full interview. I
- 16:24Speaker 1: do want to give you this little excerpt in this
- 16:26Speaker 1: one on one Listen to what he had to say
- 16:28Speaker 1: about laying out his three point plan for post war Gaza.
- 16:32Speaker 17: Question is what happens the day after the fighting stops?
- 16:34Speaker 17: Do you have a plan for the day after the war?
- 16:39Speaker 9: Absolutely, I think the day after the wars. First of all,
- 16:42Speaker 9: the day after Klamas. You have to destroy Klamas. Otherwise
- 16:45Speaker 9: Guzins don't have a future. Peace doesn't have a future,
- 16:48Speaker 9: The expansion of peace doesn't have a future. So get
- 16:50Speaker 9: rid of Lamas. That's our goal number one. Number two
- 16:53Speaker 9: demilitarized Gaza and the one sustained. The militarition I think
- 16:57Speaker 9: requires that Israel have the overall responsibility to fight resurgent terrorists. Three,
- 17:04Speaker 9: ensure that Gaza or seek a civilian administration by Gazans
- 17:08Speaker 9: who are not affiliated with Ramas and also don't seek
- 17:11Speaker 9: the destruction of Israel. And the last thing is rebuilt
- 17:16Speaker 9: Gaza in a peaceful way using the sort of moderate
- 17:19Speaker 9: Arab states and the international community. That's a realistic plan,
- 17:23Speaker 9: That's the one I have. But it goes through victory.
- 17:26Speaker 9: There is peace and stability and prosperity only through victory.
- 17:32Speaker 9: The road to peace goes through victory over Kamas, mister primeister,
- 17:36Speaker 9: thanks for your time.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Prime Minister again speaking out right now, making it very
- 17:40Speaker 1: clear on all of this. Net and Yahoo just did
- 17:44Speaker 1: a one on one sit down interview moments ago with
- 17:49Speaker 1: Good Morning Americas speaking out after there is a prosecutors
- 17:52Speaker 1: assey International Criminal Court the ICC for arrest warrants for
- 17:58Speaker 1: the Israeli Prime minister and Hama's officials as well for
- 18:02Speaker 1: war crimes, trying to you know, act like both are
- 18:06Speaker 1: evil at the same level, which is insane. But this
- 18:10Speaker 1: is you know, one of those Okay, Well, both sides
- 18:12Speaker 1: are bad, so let's just arrest both. That's what they're
- 18:15Speaker 1: now asking for from the ICC. I want you to
- 18:18Speaker 1: hear what Netanyah who had to say on Good Morning America.
- 18:21Speaker 17: Yeah, Netanyao in the wake of the top prosecutor for
- 18:24Speaker 17: the International Criminal Court seeking arrest warrant that alleges war
- 18:27Speaker 17: crimes in Gaza want to bring in the Prime minister
- 18:30Speaker 17: right now. Mister Prime Minister, thank you very much for
- 18:32Speaker 17: joining us this morning. You've been accused of using starvation
- 18:35Speaker 17: as a weapon of war. I know you've called that
- 18:37Speaker 17: decision by the prosecutors outrageous. The prosecutor responded to that yesterday.
- 18:42Speaker 17: I want you to listen to what he had to say.
- 18:45Speaker 18: Israel has every right not to give sukkah to Hamas
- 18:51Speaker 18: that is not contested. Israel has every right and needed
- 18:54Speaker 18: an obligation to get hostages back, but you must do
- 18:58Speaker 18: so by complying with the law. The fact that a
- 19:01Speaker 18: mass fighters need water doesn't justify denying water from all
- 19:06Speaker 18: the civilian population of Gaza.
- 19:09Speaker 17: Your response, well.
- 19:13Speaker 9: I think this is absurd. This is beyond outrageous. He
- 19:15Speaker 9: said that we deny water, and he's making a totally
- 19:19Speaker 9: false accusation here and everywhere else. We are supplying now
- 19:23Speaker 9: nearly half of the water of Gaza. We supplied only
- 19:26Speaker 9: seven percent before the war, So this is completely opposite
- 19:30Speaker 9: of what he's saying. He's saying that we're starving people.
- 19:33Speaker 9: You know, we have supplied half a million tons of
- 19:37Speaker 9: food and medicine with twenty thousand trucks. This guy is
- 19:41Speaker 9: out to demonize Israel. He's doing a hit job. He's
- 19:44Speaker 9: creating a false symmetry between the democratically elected leaders of
- 19:48Speaker 9: Israel and the terrorist chieftains. That's like saying in After
- 19:51Speaker 9: ninety eleven, well, I'm issuing the rest warrants for George Bush,
- 19:55Speaker 9: but also forbidd Laden or after in World War two, Well,
- 19:58Speaker 9: I'm issuing rest warrants for but also for Hitler. It's
- 20:02Speaker 9: a hit job. It's not serious. He's out to defame Israel,
- 20:05Speaker 9: and he's also pouring gasoline on the fires of anti
- 20:08Speaker 9: Semitism that are spreading around the world because he is
- 20:12Speaker 9: attacking the one and only Jewish state and trying to
- 20:14Speaker 9: handcuff us, preventing us from exercising responsibly through the laws
- 20:19Speaker 9: of war as we obey them and we are subordinated
- 20:22Speaker 9: to them. He's saying we're not. He's creating false symmetry,
- 20:25Speaker 9: false facts, and he's doing a grave injustice to the
- 20:29Speaker 9: International Court.
- 20:30Speaker 17: As you know, there is a serious food crisis in Gaza,
- 20:32Speaker 17: and has Sidney McCain, head of the UN World Food Program,
- 20:35Speaker 17: said parts of Gaza are undergoing full blown famine. Do
- 20:38Speaker 17: you acknowledge that under international law, Israel has a legal
- 20:41Speaker 17: obligation to prevent people in Gaza from starving?
- 20:46Speaker 9: Well, we certainly have an obligation to enable trucks to
- 20:49Speaker 9: go in. And as I said, we've enabled twenty thousand
- 20:52Speaker 9: trucks to go in. We just fixed the roadbeds to
- 20:54Speaker 9: enable those trucks to go in and half a million
- 20:57Speaker 9: tons of food and drugs. Who's stopping this? In fact,
- 21:02Speaker 9: HAMAS is the one that is looting these trucks while
- 21:06Speaker 9: we're enabling them to go in. We don't have a
- 21:08Speaker 9: deliberate starvation diet, we don't policy. In fact, we have
- 21:12Speaker 9: the opposite policy to allow maximum humanitarian aid to get
- 21:16Speaker 9: people out of harms way, while HAMAS is doing everything
- 21:18Speaker 9: to keep them in harm's way at gunpoint. And in fact,
- 21:21Speaker 9: we've sent millions of text messages, of phone calls, leaflets
- 21:26Speaker 9: to people doing something that no army and no government
- 21:29Speaker 9: is done in modern urban warfare, giving up the element
- 21:32Speaker 9: of surprise, telling people get out of harm's way and
- 21:35Speaker 9: let us finish the war against the terrorists. We're not
- 21:38Speaker 9: targeting the population, We're targeting the terrorists. These are fallacious charges.
- 21:43Speaker 9: I think that they cast a terrible stain on the ICC,
- 21:47Speaker 9: but I think serious countries are not taking them seriously.
- 21:50Speaker 9: And I was very glad to see that President Biden
- 21:53Speaker 9: called them outrageous, as in many leaders bipartisan support across
- 21:58Speaker 9: the United States, and people are out putting bill in Congress,
- 22:01Speaker 9: bipartisan bill to put sanctions on the ICC prosecutor for
- 22:06Speaker 9: doing such a terrible singling outdividual. Really, really a distortion
- 22:12Speaker 9: and a travesty of justice.
- 22:13Speaker 17: Are you concerned about traveling in the wake of this
- 22:15Speaker 17: arrest warrant?
- 22:18Speaker 9: No, I'm not concerned about traveling. I think I'm not
- 22:20Speaker 9: concerned at all about our status. I think that the
- 22:23Speaker 9: prosecutor should be concerned about his status, because he's really
- 22:27Speaker 9: turning the ICC into a pariah institution. People are just
- 22:29Speaker 9: not going to take it seriously. They see it as
- 22:32Speaker 9: a politicized thing. I hope that the judges don't don't
- 22:36Speaker 9: confirm what he says, because that will make them into
- 22:39Speaker 9: a kangaroo court. Israel is fighting a just war, not
- 22:42Speaker 9: only ours, not only our war. We're fighting the war
- 22:45Speaker 9: of all democracies. Because if democracies are now faced with
- 22:48Speaker 9: a situation that, after taking incredible efforts to get people's
- 22:52Speaker 9: out of arms way to supply humanitarian aid on a
- 22:55Speaker 9: vast scale, if they're told then they're hauled into the
- 22:58Speaker 9: dock because the terrorists or fighting them and using civilians
- 23:02Speaker 9: as human shields. Then others will do it again, and
- 23:05Speaker 9: every democracy will be pulled into the dock where first
- 23:08Speaker 9: you're next. The big quest many people understand that, so
- 23:11Speaker 9: that has to be stopped, and that has to be resistant.
- 23:13Speaker 9: And I can assure you the vast majority of Israelis
- 23:16Speaker 9: and all responsible leaders in the world understand that this
- 23:20Speaker 9: should be resisted.
- 23:21Speaker 17: The big question is what happens the day after the
- 23:23Speaker 17: fighting stops. Do you have a plan for the day
- 23:26Speaker 17: after the war?
- 23:29Speaker 9: Absolutely, I think the day after the wars first of all,
- 23:32Speaker 9: the day after Hamas. You have to destroy Hamas. Otherwise
- 23:35Speaker 9: Ghazins don't have a future. Peace doesn't have a future,
- 23:38Speaker 9: The expansion of peace doesn't have a future. So get
- 23:40Speaker 9: rid of Hamas. That's our goal Number one. Number two,
- 23:43Speaker 9: demilitarize Gaza and the one sustained militarition I think requires
- 23:48Speaker 9: that Israel have the overall responsibility to fight resurgent terrorists. Three,
- 23:54Speaker 9: ensure that Gaza or seeka a civilian administration by Gazans
- 23:58Speaker 9: who are not affiliated with Lamas and also don't seek
- 24:01Speaker 9: the destruction of Israel. And and and the last thing
- 24:04Speaker 9: is rebuilt Gaza in a peaceful way using the sort
- 24:09Speaker 9: of moderate Arab states and the international community. That's a
- 24:12Speaker 9: realistic plan. That's the one I have. But it goes
- 24:15Speaker 9: through victory. There is peace and UH and stability and
- 24:20Speaker 9: prosperity only through victory. The road to peace goes through victory.
- 24:25Speaker 17: Over Kamas, mister Prime Minister, thanks for your time.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Natan Yea, who also went on another show to talk
- 24:33Speaker 1: about this as well.
- 24:34Speaker 9: Uh.
- 24:35Speaker 1: And and he decided to make it clear, this is nothing.
- 24:39Speaker 1: But you know, this ICC is total crap.
- 24:44Speaker 3: Uh.
- 24:44Speaker 1: This this prosecutor on this arrest warrant, this is pure evil.
- 24:51Speaker 1: And the way that he described is like this would
- 24:53Speaker 1: be like having a restaurant for Osam bin Laden and
- 24:55Speaker 1: George Bush the same time, or or Hitler and in
- 24:59Speaker 1: those we're fighting him. It's totally lunacy. Yet they're covering
- 25:04Speaker 1: it in the media like this is some sort of
- 25:07Speaker 1: big deal.
- 25:07Speaker 3: And said being honest about it. Listen, welcome back.
- 25:11Speaker 19: As we've reported, the world's highest criminal court is seeking
- 25:14Speaker 19: to arrest toop Israeli and TOMAS leaders, including Israel's Prime
- 25:17Speaker 19: Minister Benjamin ette Yaho and the leader of Hamas both
- 25:20Speaker 19: for their alleged war crimes. The panel of experts surveying
- 25:23Speaker 19: the case actually includes Amal Clooney, who was handpicked by
- 25:27Speaker 19: the court more than four months ago. NBC International correspondent
- 25:30Speaker 19: Kelly Cobiera joins us now from London.
- 25:33Speaker 20: Kelly, good morning, Christine, Good morning to year. Yes, we
- 25:38Speaker 20: know that Amal Clooney is married to Hollywood a lister,
- 25:40Speaker 20: George Clooney, but she is also a highly respected international
- 25:45Speaker 20: human rights lawyer, and she revealed on Monday that she
- 25:48Speaker 20: is a member of this expert panel which signed off
- 25:51Speaker 20: on the prosecutor's decision to bring war crimes charges against
- 25:55Speaker 20: Natanyahu and top Hamas leaders. President Biden calling to bring
- 26:00Speaker 20: charges against top Israeli leaders outrageous.
- 26:06Speaker 21: Amal Clooney in the spotlight again, not for her marriage
- 26:10Speaker 21: to George Clooney or her glamorous red carpet style, but
- 26:13Speaker 21: for her role as a legal advisor to the International
- 26:16Speaker 21: Criminal Court in the Netherlands, the ICC's chief prosecutor requesting
- 26:21Speaker 21: arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Ette, Yahoo, Israel's
- 26:25Speaker 21: Defense Minister, and three senior Hamas leaders for alleged war crimes.
- 26:30Speaker 21: Amal Clooney, writing, the law that protects civilians in war
- 26:33Speaker 21: was developed more than one hundred years ago and it
- 26:36Speaker 21: applies in every country in the world, regardless of the
- 26:39Speaker 21: reason for a conflict, adding, I will never accept that
- 26:42Speaker 21: one child's life has less value than another's. This is
- 26:46Speaker 21: just the latest high profile legal case for Clooney, who
- 26:49Speaker 21: is a barrister and member of a well respected British
- 26:52Speaker 21: law firm. She once represented Wikileak's founder Julian Asange in
- 26:56Speaker 21: his fight to avoid extradition to Sweden on sex crime charge.
- 27:00Speaker 21: More recently, she called on the UN and US to
- 27:03Speaker 21: do more to stop reported war crimes in Ukraine. Ukraine
- 27:07Speaker 21: is today a slaughter house right in the heart of Europe.
- 27:13Speaker 21: She has also investigated atrocities in Syria, Darfur and Iraq,
- 27:18Speaker 21: sitting down with NBC in twenty sixteen to explain what
- 27:21Speaker 21: drives her.
- 27:22Speaker 10: I believe in international justice. I believe it's important that
- 27:25Speaker 10: you don't just turn the page without people being held
- 27:28Speaker 10: to account.
- 27:29Speaker 21: The gravity of her day job in contrast to her
- 27:32Speaker 21: leading man husband, prompting a memorable moment at the twenty
- 27:36Speaker 21: fifteen Golden Globes.
- 27:37Speaker 22: Amal is a human rights lawyer who worked on the
- 27:40Speaker 22: Enron case, was an advisor to Kofi Anon regarding Syria,
- 27:44Speaker 22: and was selected for a three person UN commission investigating
- 27:47Speaker 22: rules of war violations in the Gaza strip. So tonight
- 27:51Speaker 22: her husband is getting a lifetime.
- 27:54Speaker 9: Achievement aw.
- 27:57Speaker 21: The forty six year old mother of six year old twins,
- 28:00Speaker 21: it rarely gives interviews, preferring to focus on her work
- 28:03Speaker 21: and her young children. She made an exception in twenty
- 28:06Speaker 21: eighteen when George was honored by the American Film Institute.
- 28:10Speaker 10: What I have found with you is the great love
- 28:14Speaker 10: that I always hoped existed.
- 28:16Speaker 21: One of the world's most glamorous women now taking a
- 28:19Speaker 21: strong stance on the conflict in the Middle East.
- 28:23Speaker 1: I love this right, It's leave it to George Coney's
- 28:26Speaker 1: wife to Beck. Yeah, let's lock up that guy Net
- 28:28Speaker 1: and Yahoo who was attacked by Hamas.
- 28:31Speaker 3: Let's do that. These people may.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Be glamorous, but they're insane. Make sure you share this
- 28:37Speaker 1: podcast with your family and your friends. Please and help
- 28:40Speaker 1: us by writing us a five star review. And I'll
- 28:42Speaker 1: see you back here tomorrow.
