- 1:06Speaker 5: Love you gotta turn got to turn the mouth turn
- 1:43Speaker 5: you probably got to turn the mouth, turn out al
- 1:47Speaker 5: the mon jup.
- 1:55Speaker 6: Come come on you.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 2: You are listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 2: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:11Speaker 3: Yeah I do, man, God is good.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Hey today, I just want to get right to it
- 2:16Speaker 2: because this has really been pressing me. I woke up
- 2:20Speaker 2: and this was on my mind, and I wanted to
- 2:22Speaker 2: share it with you because I know this for a fact.
- 2:26Speaker 2: See I've lived this for a fact, and you know
- 2:33Speaker 2: the majority of things I talk about in the morning
- 2:37Speaker 2: before we get started with the regular show. It's something
- 2:40Speaker 2: that I've experienced. I can only tell you what I know.
- 2:44Speaker 2: And so I've really really understood why God has had
- 2:48Speaker 2: my life go the way that is gone. Because if
- 2:52Speaker 2: I didn't have all these tests in my life, I
- 2:55Speaker 2: didn't have all these tests that I passed, all these
- 2:58Speaker 2: tests that I failed. If I didn't have all of those,
- 3:04Speaker 2: the good and the bad. What could I share with
- 3:08Speaker 2: you in the morning? What could I tell you about hanging?
- 3:14Speaker 2: What could I tell you about failing and then winning?
- 3:18Speaker 2: What could I tell you about hanging in now when
- 3:21Speaker 2: all hope was gone? How could I share that with you?
- 3:25Speaker 2: Unless I've had those moments myself. I don't care what
- 3:31Speaker 2: happens to you. I don't care what you're going through.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Don't you dare dare give up? Under no circumstances. Don't
- 3:43Speaker 2: you dare dare ever give up? It is the biggest
- 3:49Speaker 2: trick that the enemy has. It's making us think we
- 3:56Speaker 2: ain't gonna make it to water day, the illusion that
- 4:02Speaker 2: there is a possibility that you might still have a
- 4:06Speaker 2: chance to get over. The biggest trick he uses is
- 4:11Speaker 2: when you make a mistake and you fall. He gets
- 4:14Speaker 2: you to start to think and it's final, that there
- 4:17Speaker 2: is no resurrection, there is no redemption, there is no recovery.
- 4:22Speaker 2: He just makes you think it's final. He is the
- 4:26Speaker 2: master deceiver. Don't you dare dare ever give up? I
- 4:31Speaker 2: don't care what besets you, befalls you, trips you up,
- 4:36Speaker 2: what circumstantial situations may arise.
- 4:39Speaker 3: Don't you dare dare ever give up?
- 4:43Speaker 2: Because listen to me, these are tests that you are
- 4:47Speaker 2: going through. And these tests, whether you pass the test
- 4:52Speaker 2: or it appears that you failed the test, the test
- 4:56Speaker 2: accomplishes the mission if you're smart about it.
- 5:01Speaker 3: If you pass the test.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Let's say you're going through a situation and you get
- 5:06Speaker 2: over and it goes the way you want it to do,
- 5:09Speaker 2: then what you've learned is if you hang in there,
- 5:13Speaker 2: there's a light at the end of the tunnel.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Okay, mission accomplished.
- 5:20Speaker 2: If you fail the test and it doesn't go the
- 5:23Speaker 2: way you want it and it goes the opposite and
- 5:27Speaker 2: it turns out into a negative result, and the response
- 5:30Speaker 2: you were looking for is a no, that's not final.
- 5:36Speaker 2: That doesn't mean it's over. That doesn't mean it's time
- 5:40Speaker 2: to turn back. It simply means that now you have
- 5:45Speaker 2: learned a valuable experience, you have learned a valuable lesson.
- 5:51Speaker 2: You now know what not to do. You are now
- 5:56Speaker 2: because you know what not to do, another step closer
- 6:01Speaker 2: to getting it right. Listen to me, it has to
- 6:06Speaker 2: happen this way. You have to have the rain in
- 6:10Speaker 2: your life to get the flowers in your life. You
- 6:14Speaker 2: got to have the darkness in your life. To appreciate
- 6:18Speaker 2: the sunshine in your life, you got to have woes
- 6:23Speaker 2: and worries to appreciate the joys.
- 6:27Speaker 3: It is merely a test.
- 6:30Speaker 2: So when you get through failing, and you get through stumbling,
- 6:36Speaker 2: and you get through messing it up, all that's getting
- 6:41Speaker 2: you one step closer to getting it right. Oh, my
- 6:44Speaker 2: relationship ended. I'll never be able to find another person
- 6:48Speaker 2: like that. Not only will you not be able well,
- 6:51Speaker 2: not only will you be able to find a person
- 6:53Speaker 2: like that, You can find a person that far better
- 6:58Speaker 2: than that if you.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Don't give up.
- 7:02Speaker 2: But see, sometimes you got to go through the bad
- 7:05Speaker 2: ones to get to the good ones.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Don't you? Dare?
- 7:09Speaker 2: Dare ever give up? I don't care what happens to
- 7:12Speaker 2: you if you lose.
- 7:14Speaker 3: A loved one.
- 7:15Speaker 2: And Lord knows, I've lost some people I've loved dearly
- 7:20Speaker 2: with every inch in me. I've lost my mother, my father,
- 7:26Speaker 2: my brother, and my best friend. I don't know I
- 7:31Speaker 2: know people who have lost they children. Goodness, man, I
- 7:35Speaker 2: can't even imagine that, but they kept on going. What
- 7:41Speaker 2: you're giving up for? Oh, I got you miss them,
- 7:44Speaker 2: and I got you grieving, But I got news for you.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Don't you let the devil make you think it's over
- 7:50Speaker 2: for you because somebody else ain't still here.
- 7:54Speaker 3: It was their time.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Now, I'm not trying to lessen the blow for you,
- 7:57Speaker 2: but I'm trying to get you up on your feet
- 8:00Speaker 2: so you can stop all this old woe is me,
- 8:02Speaker 2: because the things that's happening to you, you're not the
- 8:04Speaker 2: first person that's happened to Come on, now, let's get
- 8:07Speaker 2: a grip. Let's wrap your mind around this thing. You
- 8:11Speaker 2: have got to move forward, if it's just in memory
- 8:14Speaker 2: of those people. I was on one of the commercial
- 8:17Speaker 2: breaks the other day and somebody asked me something, and
- 8:20Speaker 2: I forgot the question, but my answer was, I've always
- 8:23Speaker 2: wanted my mother and father to be proud of me,
- 8:27Speaker 2: and in their absence and their demise, I'm hoping just somehow, man,
- 8:33Speaker 2: that they watching me, that they see they boy, that
- 8:37Speaker 2: I'm down here, that I'm doing better, that I'm making
- 8:40Speaker 2: something out myself, that I'm loving my wife, that I'm taking.
- 8:44Speaker 3: Care of my kids. Just want my old man to
- 8:47Speaker 3: see that about me.
- 8:49Speaker 2: You don't want my mother to see I'm trying to
- 8:51Speaker 2: get my life together over here. You una say I'm
- 8:55Speaker 2: trying to be a better person. My mama was a
- 8:56Speaker 2: Sunday school teacher for forty years. She been praying for
- 8:59Speaker 2: me for a long long time. I just hope, man,
- 9:03Speaker 2: and that's all I'm doing, is just hoping that they
- 9:06Speaker 2: see me so they can be proud of me.
- 9:08Speaker 3: See you. You, you, you you.
- 9:10Speaker 2: You got to understand that when you make these mistakes,
- 9:15Speaker 2: that when you fall and stumble and you get it
- 9:18Speaker 2: all so wrong, it.
- 9:19Speaker 3: Ain't over for you. Don't you dare dare dare ever?
- 9:23Speaker 3: Give up?
- 9:24Speaker 2: Don't stop thinking, man, because it ain't happening just the
- 9:27Speaker 2: way you want it to. That it ain't meant to
- 9:29Speaker 2: be devil. He got so many tricks to deceive you.
- 9:33Speaker 2: You know why you're being tested right now, because there
- 9:37Speaker 2: is no testimony without the test. You got to go
- 9:41Speaker 2: through something. It's all good, man, telling you. Just wanted
- 9:46Speaker 2: to share that with you. Don't you give up out there.
- 9:48Speaker 2: I don't care what's happening. Don't don't, don't don't get deceived.
- 9:52Speaker 2: The victory's coming, but you ain't gonna get it if
- 9:54Speaker 2: you quit. Hang on, y'all.

- 14:33Speaker 11: living good.
- 14:35Speaker 6: Okay, all right, So here's what's going on. It's been
- 14:39Speaker 6: brought through our attention here at the Immigration that anyone
- 14:42Speaker 6: in the state of Tennessee who has the last name
- 14:45Speaker 6: of Johnson. And I don't even know how to break
- 14:50Speaker 6: this to you or tell this to you, but it's
- 14:52Speaker 6: it's been brought to our attention here at the Immigration
- 14:54Speaker 6: that anyone in the state of Tennessee, last name Johnston
- 14:58Speaker 6: for some reason, and we're gonna to fix the problem.
- 15:01Speaker 6: But for some reason, it's saying no Johnson's are free,
- 15:05Speaker 6: you know, like there's claws or something and some paperwork
- 15:09Speaker 6: or whatever. But what we need is we need all
- 15:11Speaker 6: the Johnson's to come in by six o' by six
- 15:14Speaker 6: o'clock today so we can try to take care of
- 15:17Speaker 6: the problem. If not, if all Johnson's that are not

- 15:23Speaker 6: I know this is a joke, like we just I know.
- 15:27Speaker 6: This is Joe Baby, I'm free. What are you talking about?

- 15:49Speaker 6: a phone call like this, but like I say, it's
- 15:51Speaker 6: it's we got some paperwork here. Everybody's scramming around trying
- 15:55Speaker 6: to get to the bottom of it this but the
- 15:57Speaker 6: bottom line is we need all the Johnsons to come
- 15:59Speaker 6: in because right right now in the state of Tennessee.
- 16:03Speaker 6: No person with the last name of Johnson is free
- 16:05Speaker 6: right now, and get the gout in what are you
- 16:07Speaker 6: talking about? What are you talking about? Are you black? Yeah,
- 16:11Speaker 6: I'm black, but yeah I'm black. Are you free? Yeah,
- 16:16Speaker 6: I'm free.
- 16:18Speaker 11: So what are you talking about? Coming to me talking

- 16:22Speaker 11: to come down to immigration because we ain't free. Who
- 16:24Speaker 11: the hell are you calling me talking about the crap
- 16:27Speaker 11: like that?
- 16:28Speaker 6: Man, Okay, sir, the problem, We're gonna fix the problem,
- 16:31Speaker 6: but we need all Johnson's to come in. We're gonna

- 16:45Speaker 6: about Johnson? You are some uncle? Tom asked pulling me.
- 16:48Speaker 11: Talking about Johnson that we ain't free and we got
- 16:52Speaker 11: to come down and he's threatening my family.

- 20:39Speaker 4: Really Tommy.
- 20:40Speaker 9: You went there on him, Tommy, he had you shook
- 20:48Speaker 9: up a little bit, though he sounded like he had
- 20:50Speaker 9: you all balanced a little bit because he was serious
- 20:53Speaker 9: with it.
- 20:54Speaker 1: All right, nephew, thank you you're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 20:59Speaker 1: It is time to get some great advice from the
- 21:01Speaker 1: CLO that stands for Chief Love Officer. We call him
- 21:05Speaker 1: the Close Steve Harvey. Shateria in Memphis writes, I have
- 21:09Speaker 1: been dating a younger man for four months, and he's
- 21:12Speaker 1: been using my car to go to work because I
- 21:14Speaker 1: work from home.
- 21:15Speaker 13: Now.
- 21:16Speaker 1: I had a doctor's appointment yesterday, so I told him
- 21:18Speaker 1: to call his mama for a ride. His mama called
- 21:21Speaker 1: me and said, I'm only four years younger than her,
- 21:24Speaker 1: So I'm his mama now and I need to take
- 21:27Speaker 1: care of his needs. Would I be out of line
- 21:29Speaker 1: to curse her out?
- 21:31Speaker 8: What?
- 21:32Speaker 3: Well?
- 21:32Speaker 2: First of all, let's talk about a couple of things
- 21:35Speaker 2: that I noticed, Shaterria. This man you Dayton, got to
- 21:43Speaker 2: be young because your name is Shatiria, and I don't
- 21:48Speaker 2: know nobody named Shatiria that was born in the seventies.
- 21:53Speaker 2: So I'm assuming that you are a young mother yourself.
- 21:58Speaker 2: Now you do went in here this crazling. You're dating
- 22:01Speaker 2: this little damn baby that just now got off his bicycle,
- 22:04Speaker 2: so he ain't even got a car.
- 22:06Speaker 3: Now you letting him use your car.
- 22:08Speaker 2: You told him you got to go to the doctor
- 22:10Speaker 2: because you got some medical complications.
- 22:12Speaker 3: He can't do that.
- 22:13Speaker 2: And then you told him using mama's car his mama's car.
- 22:18Speaker 3: And would I be.
- 22:19Speaker 2: Wrong for cussing out or kicking hotel? What are you doing?
- 22:26Speaker 2: This is your fault. The fact that his mama can
- 22:29Speaker 2: call you, the fact that you had him call his
- 22:33Speaker 2: mama says you're in the wrong relationship shiteria that rhymes
- 22:38Speaker 2: with cafeteria. And that's where we have the problem at
- 22:43Speaker 2: right there, Your name, your age, and this damn baby
- 22:48Speaker 2: you done picked up and moved around in here to
- 22:51Speaker 2: your house that don't have a car. Bad selection. It
- 22:54Speaker 2: ain't his mama, it's the boy you selected to be
- 22:58Speaker 2: your man.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Problem.
- 23:01Speaker 4: Next question, all right, Moving on to tay in Ohio.
- 23:05Speaker 1: They says, I'm a twenty two year old student and
- 23:07Speaker 1: I'm dating a black guy that is giving me grief
- 23:10Speaker 1: because he's very friendly. He feels like he has to
- 23:12Speaker 1: show the back black girls on campus a lot of attention,
- 23:16Speaker 1: or they'll hate him for dating outside of his race.
- 23:18Speaker 1: One of the girls can't stand me, and she's always
- 23:21Speaker 1: talking slick to me. Should I pull her aside to
- 23:24Speaker 1: see what the problem is? Or do I keep ignoring her?
- 23:27Speaker 1: Like he said to.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Well, let me let me give you, Let me let
- 23:31Speaker 2: me say something to you now when you pull her
- 23:34Speaker 2: to the side. Hey, I just want you to understand
- 23:38Speaker 2: Dandy Dan Delvy live culturally. Once you pull them to
- 23:45Speaker 2: the side and start addressing it, you're finn to get
- 23:51Speaker 2: way molding you boggain for right now. The dude has
- 23:56Speaker 2: told you to ignore it. You could ignore it, but
- 24:00Speaker 2: I understand the position he's in. He gives them extra
- 24:03Speaker 2: attention so they don't hate him. Look, are you enjoying
- 24:09Speaker 2: this relationship? Sounds lady, It don't sound like she is
- 24:15Speaker 2: to me, it's very much with this. You don't like
- 24:20Speaker 2: the pressure, you don't like what come with it, and
- 24:22Speaker 2: he's not coping with it real good either because he
- 24:25Speaker 2: feel in some kind of way. But now let me
- 24:28Speaker 2: explain something to you. Don't pull that black girl to
- 24:32Speaker 2: the side.
- 24:35Speaker 3: Don't do that. Don't do that system beggar girl. Listen
- 24:39Speaker 3: to me.
- 24:39Speaker 2: Listen to Uncle Steve, don't pull that black girl to
- 24:42Speaker 2: the side, because it ain't gonna go nothing like you
- 24:44Speaker 2: think you're not gonna believe her damn reaction. First of all,
- 24:48Speaker 2: if you literally tap her on the alboy and say
- 24:50Speaker 2: come over here for a minute, let me talk to you,
- 24:52Speaker 2: not just don't do that, don't you. First, it's gonna
- 24:57Speaker 2: be a pause and hesitation to disbelief that you were
- 25:01Speaker 2: dressing her. But of all the black women you don
- 25:04Speaker 2: point you're gonna picked out, her is the one you
- 25:07Speaker 2: gonna check her. I can't even tell you how this
- 25:10Speaker 2: is fit to go now. I don't know if you're
- 25:12Speaker 2: a cheerleader. I don't know if he an athlete. I
- 25:15Speaker 2: don't know if you on a debate team. I don't
- 25:18Speaker 2: know what you own. But do not grab Shitteria Junior
- 25:24Speaker 2: and pull her to the side. Don't no, it is
- 25:30Speaker 2: not him.
- 25:31Speaker 3: Yeah, do not do that. It's not going to go.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Thank you, CeeLo Monique and Tyler town says, my husband
- 25:40Speaker 1: and I had a card party over the weekend and
- 25:42Speaker 1: his best buddy got drunk and slept on our floor
- 25:45Speaker 1: all night. He also urinated on himself and he had
- 25:48Speaker 1: on dark jeans, so my carpet is ruined in that spot.
- 25:52Speaker 1: My husband didn't want to make a big deal out
- 25:54Speaker 1: of it and embarrass him, So we have to pay
- 25:57Speaker 1: to have our carpet replaced. Shouldn't he make his buddy
- 26:00Speaker 1: pay for this?
- 26:02Speaker 2: You just so drunk you done fell asleep on the
- 26:05Speaker 2: floor and peede on yourself. I mean he could go
- 26:10Speaker 2: to him and say, hey, man, look here's a problem,
- 26:13Speaker 2: and you was at the house. You got drunk. I
- 26:15Speaker 2: know you couldn't help it, but you laid the floor
- 26:17Speaker 2: and you peed on yourself. You know, my wife got
- 26:19Speaker 2: to replace the copy. Man, can you give us a
- 26:22Speaker 2: little something on it? You know you could offer at
- 26:25Speaker 2: that point, Well, he not, because he gonna swear him down.

- 26:36Speaker 3: No, that was a bill. You think I peed on myself? No,
- 26:41Speaker 3: that's bill. I laid in the bier. I saw the bier.
- 26:43Speaker 3: I might knock the cup over. I give you a
- 26:46Speaker 3: couple of honey.
- 26:47Speaker 1: He'll no, hell.
- 26:51Speaker 2: No, hell no, it ain't nowhere And he ain't laying
- 26:54Speaker 2: that any you can't prove he pre no, no, no, no,

- 27:02Speaker 3: Hold on? Did you see me pee?
- 27:05Speaker 9: Yo?
- 27:06Speaker 11: Just on my phone?
- 27:07Speaker 3: Yeah? Now hold up? Don't oh oh who phone? Hold up?
- 27:14Speaker 14: Don't?

- 27:21Speaker 4: Yeah, I gotta he knew he wasn't at home.
- 27:24Speaker 2: I mean, he could mention it to him, but it's
- 27:27Speaker 2: the dude gonna deny it and stop him. Card party
- 27:31Speaker 2: and stop letting people sleep on your floor overnight. Stop
- 27:35Speaker 2: doing that, all right? Send his ass home, pee on
- 27:39Speaker 2: his own floor.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Oh the smell in that house?
- 27:43Speaker 3: All right?
- 27:44Speaker 1: Moving on to Stephanie in La seventy says, I'm in
- 27:47Speaker 1: my mid forties and I can't function without having sex
- 27:50Speaker 1: at least four times a week. I work long days,
- 27:53Speaker 1: so it's hard for me to meet a good man,
- 27:55Speaker 1: to meet good men, and I end up tensed up
- 27:58Speaker 1: all night and can't fall asleep. My neighbor has always
- 28:02Speaker 1: been an option, but I don't want to be intimate
- 28:04Speaker 1: with someone in my building. What's the worst that could happen?
- 28:08Speaker 1: Should I go ahead and invite him over?
- 28:12Speaker 3: I don't feel I don't care what you do. I
- 28:16Speaker 3: really don't. This ain't a love question, it's a lost question.

- 28:32Speaker 3: No, no, if you have to go ahead. What you
- 28:34Speaker 3: want me to tell you? Now?
- 28:36Speaker 2: Your neighbor, you don't want to sleep with him because
- 28:38Speaker 2: he's your neighbor. Who who've been doing the four times
- 28:41Speaker 2: a week for you up to now? Well? That part
- 28:44Speaker 2: see what I think is you gots to have sex
- 28:47Speaker 2: four times a week. Your problem is you can't find

- 39:13Speaker 1: He says, Hey, guys, a comedy booker who I deal
- 39:17Speaker 1: with has a new secretary. The new secretary doesn't love
- 39:22Speaker 1: me as much as the old secretary. Subsequently, I get
- 39:25Speaker 1: less booked less often. The new secretary's brother just died,
- 39:30Speaker 1: and I thought, sure would be nice if the old
- 39:32Speaker 1: secretary would come back for a few weeks, and I
- 39:34Speaker 1: will get some bookings. Now I feel bad, Steve Tommy.
- 39:39Speaker 1: When was the last time you thought the wrong thing
- 39:41Speaker 1: at the wrong moment?
- 39:44Speaker 2: When was the last time you ever thought something wrong
- 39:47Speaker 2: at the wrong moment?

- 40:22Speaker 3: dropped her.
- 40:23Speaker 2: Money in, you still lock ye all the way and
- 40:28Speaker 2: you lose your place in the prayer. Father, man, who
- 40:35Speaker 2: are in heaven high in the world, in your name?
- 40:42Speaker 2: Did you make this right?
- 40:43Speaker 3: Here?
- 40:43Speaker 12: Boy? Look at all that kingdom? You look at him? Man,
- 40:49Speaker 12: your will be done all over this earth all up?
- 40:54Speaker 12: And now yeah, you know have you ever done that?
- 40:56Speaker 7: That's it was just as good up.
- 41:00Speaker 8: It was my relative later there in the casket, and
- 41:04Speaker 8: she was in there forsed to same for the family.
- 41:07Speaker 7: I forgot who the hell.
- 41:08Speaker 1: Was laying up there.
- 41:11Speaker 7: At the funeral.
- 41:13Speaker 8: I tell you right there, I almost says her first
- 41:15Speaker 8: that once Charon had walked up there, I forgot who
- 41:18Speaker 8: the hell we was here?
- 41:19Speaker 7: Fu Lord, that dress was tight. Craise hell. I need
- 41:25Speaker 7: to give a damn who it was, but.
- 41:27Speaker 4: She was there.
- 41:29Speaker 3: My Lord.
- 41:32Speaker 14: Never seen somebody fall. Super fine woman fall and dress
- 41:37Speaker 14: blow way up over her. I just sat there and
- 41:42Speaker 14: thought about the wrong thing.
- 41:43Speaker 7: Yeah, at the wrong timing is everything, and.
- 41:48Speaker 3: Thought about really getting wrong thing at the wrong time.
- 41:52Speaker 6: It was.
- 41:54Speaker 3: Have you ever been praying and asked God to give
- 41:56Speaker 3: somebody a.
- 41:57Speaker 7: Stroke right there and see you go up there and
- 42:00Speaker 7: kiss him?
- 42:01Speaker 3: Yeah, I know.

- 42:05Speaker 3: I asked him to actually shut down somebody whole left side.
- 42:12Speaker 7: You want, you want to do the mountain bout?
- 42:15Speaker 3: Hey, let me tell you something. Hey, this is true.
- 42:19Speaker 2: I left a basketball game after high school one time
- 42:23Speaker 2: and the guy robbed me coming out of business corner.
- 42:26Speaker 2: And that was the first time I asked the Lord.
- 42:29Speaker 2: I asked God to strike somebody dead. Yeah, I had
- 42:36Speaker 2: nine dollars, so they took nine dollars. I thought that
- 42:40Speaker 2: would be a good time to ask the Lord to
- 42:43Speaker 2: do something for me. Of course he did that, and
- 42:48Speaker 2: he ran off with the nine.
- 42:52Speaker 4: Again. I'm so glad you're a changed man.
- 42:55Speaker 10: Glad from that.
- 43:01Speaker 3: Well, have you ever thought the wrong thing at the
- 43:03Speaker 3: wrong turns?
- 43:04Speaker 7: The question.
- 43:06Speaker 3: That was wrong?
- 43:07Speaker 2: The wrong.
- 43:08Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, what thing I didn't been?
- 43:13Speaker 14: I didn't been naked and ran out into the living

- 53:16Speaker 1: Subject she got him fighting for her. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 53:20Speaker 1: my coworker and I have a strong bond. I am
- 53:23Speaker 1: what you would call his work wife. My work husband
- 53:27Speaker 1: and my real husband talk often. And since my work
- 53:30Speaker 1: husband is dating a scandalous woman. My husband has been
- 53:33Speaker 1: counseling him a lot.
- 53:35Speaker 4: When my husband and.
- 53:36Speaker 1: I met the girlfriend, she looked at us like we
- 53:38Speaker 1: were garbage and didn't deserve to be in her presence.
- 53:41Speaker 1: She was overdressed for dinner, and when the waiter offered
- 53:44Speaker 1: us wine, she said that she only drinks champagne. But
- 53:47Speaker 1: the way she broke all those verbs wasn't classy at all.
- 53:50Speaker 1: My work husband can't see it though.
- 53:53Speaker 4: He's pea whipped and he is talking.
- 53:55Speaker 1: About marrying this low budget, scandalous woman whenever they are out.
- 53:59Speaker 1: He's had to check several guys for being overly friendly
- 54:02Speaker 1: with her. It made me skeptical, and I was right.
- 54:05Speaker 1: She is the problem. She's a big flirt and likes
- 54:08Speaker 1: to make eye contact with men. It's like she's insatiable
- 54:12Speaker 1: and needs all of the attention from every man in
- 54:15Speaker 1: the room, even my husband. My husband peeped it too
- 54:19Speaker 1: and said that she always does too much around him.
- 54:22Speaker 1: This past Saturday was a telltale sign that she's trouble,
- 54:26Speaker 1: but my work husband is taking her side once again.
- 54:29Speaker 1: She works as a leasing manager at a high rise building,
- 54:32Speaker 1: and my work husband popped up at her job there
- 54:36Speaker 1: was a man in the office yelling at her. When
- 54:39Speaker 1: she saw my work husband, she tried to get the
- 54:41Speaker 1: other man to leave, but he kept done, cursing her out.
- 54:45Speaker 1: My work husband stepped right in and almost got into
- 54:48Speaker 1: a fight with the man, but the security guard separated them.
- 54:52Speaker 1: She never told them who this guy is or why
- 54:54Speaker 1: he was so angry. She is very dangerous. Should we
- 54:58Speaker 1: keep trying to help him or should stay out of this?
- 55:01Speaker 6: Now?
- 55:01Speaker 4: I know you know the answer to this.
- 55:04Speaker 1: You gotta stay out of this. This is not your business.
- 55:07Speaker 1: How is this your business? Leave this one alone. You
- 55:11Speaker 1: said it best.
- 55:12Speaker 4: He's just whipped right now.
- 55:14Speaker 3: He's just whipped.
- 55:15Speaker 1: He's got to work through that on his own. When
- 55:17Speaker 1: he's ready to fight physically fight for someone like this,
- 55:20Speaker 1: his feelings run deep for her. If this girl is
- 55:24Speaker 1: trash like you say, he wouldn't be able to see
- 55:26Speaker 1: it anyway if you told him so. Don't risk your
- 55:29Speaker 1: friendship over her. Okay, the truth will come out about
- 55:33Speaker 1: her eventually, and when it does, that's when you guys,
- 55:36Speaker 1: stand by your so called work husband, because he will
- 55:40Speaker 1: need a shoulder on which to vent.
- 55:41Speaker 6: Then.
- 55:42Speaker 1: As for you, I just say, you know, mind your business,
- 55:46Speaker 1: Stay out of this stuff. Let's you know, that's them.
- 55:49Speaker 1: You got a husband of your own to deal with,
- 55:51Speaker 1: and I even would tone down the work husband thing
- 55:55Speaker 1: in front of your own husband. They might be friends now,
- 55:57Speaker 1: and he might be cool with it now, but I
- 55:59Speaker 1: just say, leave that stuff at work and leave you
- 56:03Speaker 1: and your husband. Leave that other couple alone, and stay

- 57:13Speaker 1: He was gonna jump on this guy that was cursing
- 57:15Speaker 1: her out her husband.
- 57:17Speaker 3: Okay, look, I can understand a man being honorable.

- 58:30Speaker 1: Please, But he really loves her though, or has strong
- 58:34Speaker 1: feelings for this woman though he is, he's going all
- 58:37Speaker 1: out for her.
- 58:38Speaker 3: That ain't love.
- 58:39Speaker 1: That's you in love lust.
- 58:43Speaker 3: But if he's fighting for your husband, hey work.
- 58:49Speaker 2: Like I said, it's okay for him to try to
- 58:52Speaker 2: defend the woman's honor. But now it's almost getting in
- 58:55Speaker 2: the fight with her about what all they was doing
- 58:59Speaker 2: was cussing.
- 59:01Speaker 3: If I walk in and we cussing.
- 59:03Speaker 1: Oh, he was yelling at her and then cussing her out.

- 59:21Speaker 1: We have another call for you.
- 59:25Speaker 3: Huh, anything, anything, but we ain't doing this letter.
- 59:28Speaker 4: All right, eight seven seven, twenty nine, Steve.
- 59:31Speaker 1: We'll come back at twenty three minutes after the hour,
- 59:33Speaker 1: and uh, we'll take another voicemail for Steve right after this.
- 59:37Speaker 1: You're listening hard morning show. All right, Steve today Strawberry letter.
- 59:42Speaker 1: The subject is she's got him fighting for her. Let's
- 59:45Speaker 1: recap and just let the people know you're mad about
- 59:48Speaker 1: this letter.
- 59:49Speaker 3: You're upset.
- 59:50Speaker 2: I'm not already saying I'm not doing this. I'm not
- 59:52Speaker 2: already saying I'm not because everybody got no time for you. Now,
- 59:57Speaker 2: we'd have done a recap the mad sitting up in here,
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: the guy with a lady that's kind of got like
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: tendency you know, God to tendency that he whipped over,
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: and now it's her work husband and you know, not
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: her man down.
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: There are the fighting over this help. I'm just getting
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: cut down it. That's exactly I ain't told you. I
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: wasn't doing this.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: But the woman who wrote in wants to know should
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: she stay out of it because she and her real
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: husband see things in this woman.
- 1:00:28Speaker 4: They think she's dangerous and all of that.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: So she wants to know should they keep trying to
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: help her work husband or should they stay out of it.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: That's the issue, that's what to that.
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: So you know, I'm doing that for the podcast.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: So why are you being immature crazy today?
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: So put that on the podcast?
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: So stop now, don't say that?
- 1:00:56Speaker 6: All right?
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: Do it right? Come on now, I've just done it right.
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: I'm telling you this said, I'm just as an ignorant
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: ass letter and we spend it too much time on
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: this here, it's your birthday, shurey is celebrating your life
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: and all this shit. Well, let me tie this to
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: your birthday. And this is what you want. You want
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: to seem a gift. This is what I do for
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: a living.
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: My cowork and I have a strong bond.
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: That's me and sherefy and Shelly is what you call
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: my work wife now, and I'm Shirley's work husband and
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: my real wife. They talked often. Since my work husband
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: is dating a scandalous woman. Now, this is why I
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: gotta get out this damn letter. Yes me too, I'm
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: not dating a scandalous woman. But when Shirley first got
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: the job, I thought she was scandalous. It's just she
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: turned out she was because keep her job by wearing
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: uh these afro pusting this tight letters dress.
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: So not Sureley, you had afros.
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: During that time in two thousand, was wearing afro pubs.
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: Steve, And that's what I said.
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: I never wore afro pubs, That's.
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: What I said.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: That's why I didn't know how you thought that was
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: gonna work on you. You're coming to work with them
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: little afro puffy stuff.
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: No, that is not true.
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: Anyway. She's a big flirt and likes to make eye
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: contact with men.
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: Now, surely don't flirt, but she do make eye contact,
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: even by accident, because them eyes is out her head
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: by as far as they could be. Surely always make
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: an eye contact. And then my husband peeped it too,
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: and said she always does too much around him. And
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: so anyway, man, that was a man in the office
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: yelling at her one time, and when she saw my
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: work husband, she tried to get the other man to leave,
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: but he kept cursing her out, and my work husband
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: stepped up almost got into a fight.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean and the obvious. Should we stay out
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: of it or just keep trying to help them? Yes,
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: you should stay out of it. No, you shouldn't try.
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: To help them.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: Yeah, the end.
- 1:03:08Speaker 4: All right, I think we have time if you want
- 1:03:10Speaker 4: to move on now, are you done?
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: No, thank you anything?
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: All right? You know what?
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: We have a call. We have a call.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: Someone left your voicemail from Detroit, mister Patterson.
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: Let's hear it.
- 1:03:20Speaker 13: Hey, Steve, my name is mister Courtney Patterson. I live
- 1:03:23Speaker 13: in the city of Detroit. I just wanted to call
- 1:03:26Speaker 13: and say that I like what you do over the
- 1:03:30Speaker 13: radio when you're encouraged people, when you come on at
- 1:03:33Speaker 13: six o'clock in the morning. I listen to you every time.
- 1:03:37Speaker 13: All I wanted to say is that your encouragement helps
- 1:03:39Speaker 13: me through today. Your encouragement helps me why I'm at
- 1:03:43Speaker 13: work and I just wanted to ask you from the
- 1:03:45Speaker 13: bout of my heart, please don't stop doing that because
- 1:03:49Speaker 13: you're doing a great job.
- 1:03:50Speaker 6: Act I wish it was a creature.
- 1:03:52Speaker 13: And I'll be in front of you in a church.
- 1:03:54Speaker 13: Have a blessed day.
- 1:03:56Speaker 6: Love you all. You are doing a good job.
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: Bye. Well. I want to say, first of all to
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: anybody that puts a full name on a call, I
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: respect you, so thank you.
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: Brother.
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: I'm not gonna stop because it's a promise I made
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: a long time ago when I was homeless and struggling,
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: and I told God, if he let me make it,
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: and when I get there, I was gonna tell everybody
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: about it.
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: And so that's a promise I have to keep.
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: I have to open and everything. If you watch Family
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: Few closely on the daily basis, you'll see in that
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: I always sprinkle in something about the God what He's
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: done for me. Always this radio show, no exception. Every
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: night before I started my stand up I say before
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: I get started, I like to say that God is everything.
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: Without God, I wouldn't be nothing, and then I would
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: start my show.
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: I've always been that way because I've always asked God
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: to let me make it now and especially Detroit Special
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: City to me, it was my favorite city to perform
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: in of all my cities, always been Detroit.
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: Now let me say this about you wishing I was
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: a preacher. Oh, that probably ain't a real good idea
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: of Brother pat All, because.
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: You know I'm serving the Lord. I'm an army. I'm
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: a soldier in the army for christ Ah. But I
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: got a different role. Preachers are in the ministry. You
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: got the nurse's gill, you got the usher boy, you
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: got choir members, you got uh, you know, people that
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: work in the chick in all types of ways. Those
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: are all roles in the army. Some people drive the
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: church van transport, some people on the nurses guill.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: On Today's Strawberry Letter, you heard it at Steve Harvey
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: FM on Instagram and Facebook, and check out the Strawberry
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: Letter podcast on demand.

- 1:05:58Speaker 2: Me, ask you a question around the room. This is
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: not about your favorite or none of that. What fast
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: food restaurant? This is not your favorite?
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: Do you think you spent the most money at surely.
- 1:06:16Speaker 4: Oh it's gotta be. It's gotta be McDonald's, hands down.

- 1:08:41Speaker 3: The two different have never done?
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: Let me explain something to you. Gotta eat them while

- 1:12:46Speaker 2: that at gas with a drop top nineteen forty Cadillac,
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: I'm sitting there and couldn't find a gas cap for
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: thirty minutes. I had to call to do it work
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: for men, asking where is the damn The gas cap
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: on the nineteen forty is under the tail light.
- 1:13:06Speaker 3: You had to be laughing at that, man. Yeah.
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: Man, you lift up the tail like it's horizontal. You
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: lift up the tail light and the gas the gas
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: cap is under the tail. Like, how the hell would
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: I know that?
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: I got that thirty minute touching. We had the trunk
- 1:13:21Speaker 3: open all kad of mo.
- 1:13:25Speaker 12: Wow.
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: You should have seen me with that. But I had
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: to but I had to handle in my head just
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: walking round the car.
- 1:13:32Speaker 3: Wow. Yeah, I love to leave that man.
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:13:37Speaker 4: Nineteen eighty five.

- 1:13:53Speaker 1: a happy hour.
- 1:13:54Speaker 3: Well, according to a new I'm telling about going to
- 1:13:57Speaker 3: my next job.
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: According to a new survey Steve by the Food and
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: Wine magazine, the booze most recommended by bartenders when it's
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: when it's time to do a shot is jack.
- 1:14:10Speaker 7: Not anyone tomorrow? What thunderbird?
- 1:14:16Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: Now, now this was a pretty big survey here with
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: with nearly ten thousand bartenders asked to give their opinions.
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: Patron Tequila, Gray Goose Vodka and Johnny Walker Scotch also
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: ranked high. But Jack Dad, Jillie Walker Scotch.
- 1:14:33Speaker 3: Man, I can't stand that. That's that's not man.

- 1:15:58Speaker 3: go to the dinner.
- 1:15:58Speaker 4: That's that's most people don't like. Most men don't like
- 1:16:01Speaker 4: to go to them.
- 1:16:02Speaker 7: Said the mall.
- 1:16:04Speaker 3: I'm going to the marrow, so happy, I'm going to
- 1:16:07Speaker 3: the mall.
- 1:16:08Speaker 14: The mall has gotten better though, for chairs and benches
- 1:16:11Speaker 14: for me and to sit on while they're women doing stuff.
- 1:16:13Speaker 3: They got better with that, so it's a more comfortable city.
- 1:16:20Speaker 3: Go ahead, I'm going I'm going to the dinner. Give
- 1:16:22Speaker 3: me the dream.

- 1:16:26Speaker 8: store sniffing candles. I don't even care about I mean here,
- 1:16:30Speaker 8: I don't know what is zara. I ain't never been
- 1:16:32Speaker 8: in here.
- 1:16:33Speaker 3: What am I doing?
- 1:16:35Speaker 7: I don't know none of that, No, none of that.
- 1:16:41Speaker 3: Four runner, I'm like to rethink what you just did.
- 1:16:47Speaker 3: Turn your chair, run.
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: Over.
- 1:16:51Speaker 3: The show ain't gonna work. I'm trying to do so.
- 1:16:54Speaker 3: You was on your radio show this morning and you said.
- 1:16:57Speaker 6: What.
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: Would you rather? Would you rather get male enhancement surgery
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: or would you rather get surgery on your ass like
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: light bow on your asss.
- 1:17:12Speaker 3: I'd rather get this surgery on my abs if I
- 1:17:14Speaker 3: do anymore? Can we where I'm doing this?
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: I'm I'm, I'm blessed in highly faith already.
- 1:17:25Speaker 3: In double X draws. Where are we going with this?
- 1:17:31Speaker 6: No way?
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: As right? I would nothing else down here. Already can't
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: use that little slot that they put on draws. I
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: already can't use that.
- 1:17:50Speaker 12: Really gone going to give me these apps?
- 1:17:57Speaker 3: I ain't seen it in a while?
- 1:18:02Speaker 4: All right, Tommy Jr.
- 1:18:05Speaker 3: Am, I'm blessed. I'm blessed. I'm good now.
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: I don't think you guys would say anything else other
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: than that.
- 1:18:13Speaker 3: All right, It's all relative.
- 1:18:14Speaker 4: What do you mean?
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: See both of them is shortened in me?
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: What you say?
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: I said, both of them is shorter than me. I
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: don't mean, ain't nobody more blessed than you? Though, just
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: all the perspective, y'all know what I'm talking about. This
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: stop here. You know you got I'm standing over here,
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: and you got g I Joe standing over there now,
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: g I Joe.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: We'll be back with the last break of the day
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: and some closing remarks from the one and only Judge
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: Steve right after this.
- 1:18:51Speaker 4: You're listening hard morning show. All right, Steve, here we
- 1:18:55Speaker 4: are last break of the day. What do you have
- 1:18:57Speaker 4: for us? Closing remarks? Let's get it.
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: You know, I decided to do something a little bit
- 1:19:04Speaker 2: different today. I want to give you a bullet point
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: list of things to consider to protect yourself as you're
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: climbing the letter to success. These bullet points are things
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: that all of us will can and have experienced, and
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: they come over and over and over at different levels,
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: in different times. Now, the things I'm about to share
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: with you are not the only things, and I don't
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: have them in any particular order. I just wanted to
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: share them with These are what I call dream crushes.
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: I can't tell you how many people I know who've
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: had wonderful aspirations and dreams and got started and they
- 1:19:59Speaker 2: allowed these dreams to get crushed.
- 1:20:03Speaker 3: And I know a lot of them.
- 1:20:04Speaker 6: Now.
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: I'm not gonna name all of them, but I am
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: gonna name some of them, and I want you all
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: to think about them as I list them, so you
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: can be on guard for them, because they are coming.
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: Oh don't you think for one moment that they are
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: not coming. These are some of the dream crushes that
- 1:20:27Speaker 2: you'll encounter. The first one I simply call background chatter. Somehow,
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: when you're on your way, you hear the murmuring in
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: the crowd, you hear the naysayers.
- 1:20:44Speaker 3: You just hear this constantly. He hears she come again. Oh, hey,
- 1:20:50Speaker 3: how you doing?
- 1:20:52Speaker 2: Oh here he come with that old crazy Have you
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: seen what he thought he was gonna be? Anybody y'all
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: seeing his dream?
- 1:20:59Speaker 3: Boys? Crazy?
- 1:21:02Speaker 15: Hey, how you doing?
- 1:21:03Speaker 2: Man?
- 1:21:03Speaker 7: That's all right.
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: And you hear stuff like this, I call it background shattering.
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: It can be very very rough if you get it
- 1:21:14Speaker 2: on a constant basis. Those are one of the dream crushers.
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: Be very very careful. Here's another dream dream crusher comparisons
- 1:21:25Speaker 2: to others. See when you're building your house, when you're
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: building your road, when you're building your building, don't look
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: across the street at the other house, the other structure,
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: and the other building. First of all, you don't know
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: what's under the foundation of what appears to be a
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: grand building. Now you're trying to build your solid on
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: a great foundation, rock by rock, level by level. But
- 1:21:52Speaker 2: you're looking over there and somebody halfway up with a skyride,
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: and you're trying to figure out why it's taking you
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: so long.
- 1:21:57Speaker 3: You don't even know that they don't built that on sand.
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: You don't even know that there's no flooring behind it,
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: that it ain't nothing but a shell. Be careful of
- 1:22:06Speaker 2: comparing your building to others, because what you see across
- 1:22:09Speaker 2: the street might not be the same. Those are dream crushes.
- 1:22:13Speaker 2: Here's another one, a well timed setback. Right when you
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: think things are going along, all of a sudden, something
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: just pops up.
- 1:22:21Speaker 3: You know what that is. It's called life. It just surfaces.
- 1:22:25Speaker 3: It's surfaces for all of us, y'all. It's just life.
- 1:22:28Speaker 3: It's nothing aimed directly at you.
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: It's not, but it's not resigned and particularly your situation.
- 1:22:36Speaker 2: Everybody got them, well timed setbacks, crush dreams all the time.
- 1:22:42Speaker 3: Be ready, there will be some. Here's another one. I
- 1:22:45Speaker 3: want you to be careful, love, watch out for statistics.
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: Statistics were designed by people who were failing to justify
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: their feeling.
- 1:22:54Speaker 3: One out of every four hundred, you know, only two
- 1:22:58Speaker 3: in a million. Ever, get.
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: I wouldn't play that lotto because the only person to
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: hear this, they say, is one in two hundred and
- 1:23:04Speaker 2: eighty five million, chances. Statistics stop so many people because
- 1:23:11Speaker 2: they keep putting yourself in the one.
- 1:23:14Speaker 3: You either put yourself in the one, or you put
- 1:23:16Speaker 3: yourself in the group.
- 1:23:18Speaker 2: You know, one out of every two thousand comedians make
- 1:23:20Speaker 2: it on the Johnny Carson Show.
- 1:23:22Speaker 3: That was the stat I heard way back when I
- 1:23:23Speaker 3: got started. Man only one.
- 1:23:27Speaker 2: And if people started looking at themselves as the one
- 1:23:30Speaker 2: nine hundred and ninety nine, now you know what I did.
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: I looked at myself as just the one. That statistics
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: are dream crushers. Here's another one right here. Social media comments.
- 1:23:41Speaker 2: Beware those people don't know you. They really don't. They
- 1:23:45Speaker 2: know nothing about you. Matter of fact, they only have
- 1:23:48Speaker 2: one design in mind, and that is to discourage you.
- 1:23:51Speaker 2: Social Media comments are a big dream crusher. Be careful
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: of Facebook. Everybody wanting to be your friend ain't your friend.
- 1:23:59Speaker 3: Watch out. It could be a possible dream crusher. On Facebook.
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: You didn't get no likes, you didn't get no comment,
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: They didn't befriend you, they didn't like your picture, they
- 1:24:09Speaker 2: didn't tell you about it.
- 1:24:11Speaker 3: Everybody got to notice about the party. But you.
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: Dream crushes, be very careful. Here's another one. Stop talking
- 1:24:20Speaker 2: to small minded people. They are dangerous dream crushes. If
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: you want to kill a big dream, tell it to
- 1:24:26Speaker 2: a small minded person. Be very careful. Uh oh, here's
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: another one that's a dream crusher. They're called fair weather friends.
- 1:24:35Speaker 2: Sometimes they good with you, sometimes they ain't. They just
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: friendly when it's sunny, but when it get dark and
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: gloomy outside, you can't find them. They are potential dream crushers.
- 1:24:44Speaker 2: Get rid of them very quickly. Well meaning relatives. Uh oh,
- 1:24:50Speaker 2: one of the greatest dream crushes of all time. Well
- 1:24:53Speaker 2: meaning relatives, Be careful, because all your relatives really don't
- 1:24:56Speaker 2: mean well. Sorry, they are dream crushers. At last, but
- 1:25:02Speaker 2: not least yourself. Don't let yourself be your biggest dream crushing.
- 1:25:09Speaker 2: When things ain't going right, prayer bout it, get it
- 1:25:11Speaker 2: turned around. Those are my closing remarks today.
- 1:25:14Speaker 3: All right, Mike, well, y'all have a great week.
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: Here Py.
