- 2:05Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice, Come on, dig me NW
- 2:09Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harley got a radio show. Okay,
- 2:12Speaker 1: here we go today, folks. This is a good one
- 2:15Speaker 1: because today I want to share with you something that
- 2:21Speaker 1: affects every living soul, and that one thing is your attitude.
- 2:28Speaker 1: This affects everyone. It is your attitude. You know. I
- 2:36Speaker 1: don't know if anyone's ever told you, but I mean
- 2:39Speaker 1: many of you who listen know this. But there are
- 2:42Speaker 1: a lot of people who don't understand a positive attitude
- 2:48Speaker 1: can bring about a change. A positive attitude can bring
- 2:54Speaker 1: about a change. Well, now here we go with the
- 2:56Speaker 1: nay says well, Steve, what you mean if I'm just
- 2:58Speaker 1: positive being changed? Mama gonna what me being positive got
- 3:02Speaker 1: to do with that? Okay, now listen to me carefully.
- 3:05Speaker 1: A positive attitude can bring about change. Well, okay, Steve,
- 3:10Speaker 1: I hear you saying that, but they didn't fired me.
- 3:13Speaker 1: So now what does my having a positive attitude have
- 3:16Speaker 1: to do with the fact that they fired me? Well,
- 3:21Speaker 1: one more time, A positive attitude can bring about change.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Or Steve, I set up in here and gave eight nine,
- 3:32Speaker 1: twelve years of my life to this man and he
- 3:35Speaker 1: just he cheated on me and walked out. Now what
- 3:37Speaker 1: does me being positive have to do with him cheating
- 3:41Speaker 1: on me? How that's gonna change that? Okay, here we
- 3:45Speaker 1: go again. A positive attitude can bring about change, and
- 3:49Speaker 1: listen to the whole thing. Now, the positive attitude and
- 3:55Speaker 1: the change that can happen starts just to start. It
- 4:00Speaker 1: starts within you. See, life is ten percent of what
- 4:07Speaker 1: happens is what you do about what happens. Okay, you
- 4:11Speaker 1: gave twelve years of your life to this man. He
- 4:14Speaker 1: cheated and left you hold in the bag, the kids
- 4:16Speaker 1: and everything. Now what does being positive have to do
- 4:20Speaker 1: with changing that? Or they came in and they fired you.
- 4:23Speaker 1: You lost your job that you was a stellar performer at.
- 4:26Speaker 1: But now how does you having a positive attitude. How
- 4:30Speaker 1: does that change things for you? So far? You can
- 4:34Speaker 1: use any example. Here's what happens when you have a
- 4:38Speaker 1: positive attitude. What it produces within you is a positive
- 4:44Speaker 1: approach to life. And when you have a positive attitude,
- 4:47Speaker 1: that a positive approach to life. It causes you to
- 4:52Speaker 1: be optimistic, to have a positive out look, to expect
- 4:58Speaker 1: things to e virtually turn around and and and and
- 5:02Speaker 1: turn into a positive That's very important because as the
- 5:05Speaker 1: law of attraction comes into play, if you think positive thoughts,
- 5:11Speaker 1: you attract positive things. If you think evil thoughts, you
- 5:17Speaker 1: attract evil to you. You know, if you want for nothing,
- 5:22Speaker 1: then nothing comes your way. If you want for a
- 5:25Speaker 1: positive attitude, if you want for positive results, if you
- 5:28Speaker 1: want for a great outcome, that's what you attract to you.
- 5:31Speaker 1: The change will begin within you. So let's take the
- 5:34Speaker 1: man that walked out your life and left you hold
- 5:37Speaker 1: in the bag. Here's a positive attitude. Okay, two things
- 5:42Speaker 1: have happened as positive here. Number one, you've ridd it
- 5:46Speaker 1: yourself of someone who is obviously going to be, if
- 5:49Speaker 1: not already been, toxic in your life, cause you many
- 5:53Speaker 1: restless nights, a lot of uncomfortable feelings, an uneasiness, not
- 5:59Speaker 1: sure is security. You've been going through it with this person,
- 6:02Speaker 1: whoever they are. Number One, that person has been released
- 6:06Speaker 1: from your life. Number Two, it allows you now to
- 6:10Speaker 1: have the someone who will treat you just the way
- 6:13Speaker 1: you want to be treated. That's the positive outlook, that's
- 6:17Speaker 1: the optimistic way. That's when you're a positive person. You
- 6:21Speaker 1: see the positive in things that happen to you, instead
- 6:24Speaker 1: of burying yourself under the hor's wrong with it, a
- 6:27Speaker 1: old woe is me now concept? See a positive attitude.
- 6:31Speaker 1: When they came in there and they fired you and
- 6:33Speaker 1: let you go, could this not have been just the
- 6:37Speaker 1: opening you needed to finally start on a new career
- 6:41Speaker 1: path that you've been talking about doing anyway? Could it
- 6:45Speaker 1: possibly be a brand new chance for you to get
- 6:48Speaker 1: the dream job or dream career of your choice. Could
- 6:52Speaker 1: it not possibly be the perfect opportunity now for you
- 6:57Speaker 1: to finally finally do something about that gift, about that
- 7:02Speaker 1: talent that God gave you, that thing that you love
- 7:05Speaker 1: to do. Could it not be the perfect time for
- 7:07Speaker 1: you to pursue that. But if you don't have a
- 7:09Speaker 1: positive attitude, then you lay there. Oh they finn come
- 7:14Speaker 1: getting my house? Oh, what I'm gonna do now, all
- 7:17Speaker 1: this unemployment ain't enough. Oh Lord, when this unemployment run out,
- 7:21Speaker 1: what am I gonna do? Then I won't have nothing?
- 7:24Speaker 1: And you old woe is me until you become old
- 7:28Speaker 1: woe is me. But if you take it from the
- 7:30Speaker 1: positive approach, some amazing things can happen in your life.
- 7:35Speaker 1: I will tell you on a personal note, that's some
- 7:38Speaker 1: of the most some of the best changes, some of
- 7:41Speaker 1: the biggest moments in my life came after a loss.
- 7:46Speaker 1: So I don't want to go down on the list,
- 7:47Speaker 1: but boy, I could tell you. Let me let me
- 7:48Speaker 1: tell you something. When they didn't want me on the
- 7:51Speaker 1: radio anymore in La, when they didn't when they when
- 7:54Speaker 1: it was sick of the way I did radio out
- 7:56Speaker 1: there and they wanted me gone. And on May twenty third,
- 8:00Speaker 1: two thousand and five, when my did When when when
- 8:06Speaker 1: my deal was done with the beat out in La. Okay,
- 8:13Speaker 1: look what happened though, y'all was gone in May. But
- 8:16Speaker 1: in September nineteenth I started to Steve Harvey Radio Network
- 8:20Speaker 1: with four cities. You see. But I didn't go old
- 8:24Speaker 1: woe was me? I said, Oh, okay, God must have
- 8:28Speaker 1: something else from it. Then because if he didn't remove
- 8:31Speaker 1: me from this, that must be something else. Same thing
- 8:34Speaker 1: can happened when you lose and you and you and
- 8:36Speaker 1: you break up in a relationship, Same thing can happen
- 8:39Speaker 1: to you. You never know the one God God for you.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Now Here you go, Here you go again. Now you
- 8:44Speaker 1: get put into a situation with somebody, treat you just
- 8:47Speaker 1: the way you want to be treated, provide you the
- 8:49Speaker 1: whole lot of aspects of your life you knew nothing
- 8:51Speaker 1: about prior to that. But you gotta stay positive. If
- 8:54Speaker 1: you stay positive, that positive attitude, that optimistic outlook, that
- 9:00Speaker 1: that always thinking God got me no matter what happened
- 9:04Speaker 1: to me, some amazing things that's going can will happen
- 9:07Speaker 1: in your life. It's a fact. I don't know how
- 9:10Speaker 1: it works that way. I just know that's what it is.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Positive attitude is everything, y'all. So get off the old
- 9:16Speaker 1: woe is mean negativity train because it ain't gonna take
- 9:19Speaker 1: you nowhere but down and get get your outlook up.
- 9:22Speaker 1: If you change your attitude, you change your altitude. Altitude
- 9:27Speaker 1: is determined by your attitude. How high you go, how
- 9:31Speaker 1: big you become, how far you go. It all depends
- 9:34Speaker 1: on how you think it all depends on what type
- 9:37Speaker 1: of attitude you got. It ain't no, ain't no very
- 9:41Speaker 1: very successful, super negative people. It just doesn't coincide that way.
- 9:46Speaker 1: If you see that something happened to them along the way,
- 9:48Speaker 1: and don't weary. You ain't gonna wear about it because
- 9:50Speaker 1: you ain't gonna see them long because you can't stay
- 9:52Speaker 1: up there like that. It's just too hard. All right,
- 9:56Speaker 1: that's the conversation you're listening to morning show. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:03Speaker 1: May I have your undivided attention please, during these difficult
- 10:08Speaker 1: times of quarantine. I have said I was gonna start
- 10:11Speaker 1: a show with the quarantine song. Mhm. I forgot that.
- 10:18Speaker 1: I had said that. You didn't write nothing, so I
- 10:24Speaker 1: didn't write one. So here we go. This, Ladies and gentleman,
- 10:29Speaker 1: is a quarantine song that is a repeat. I dedicate
- 10:33Speaker 1: this to my co host Jeff. Yes, job, look at
- 10:41Speaker 1: that fool. Let me who love the background too. I
- 10:59Speaker 1: won't out, I won't out, I won't out of here ever.
- 11:05Speaker 1: So dearly doo doo doo doo doo doo doo. Yeah,
- 11:10Speaker 1: So that's it. Good morning, Shelly, very much from my heart. Yeah,

- 11:21Speaker 1: nothing but it we didn't wear ain't nobody here time?
- 11:23Speaker 1: And what's up man? Dog and dog. We're in the building. Baby,
- 11:26Speaker 1: Let's get to it. Man. And this is how we
- 11:29Speaker 1: started the years ago. You know, we didn't have all
- 11:31Speaker 1: it were just awesome, awesome for awesome. Yeah yeah, true,
- 11:38Speaker 1: back yeah, back to the beginning. Huh pick up picking
- 11:42Speaker 1: die that's not here. Yep's right, they'll be back tomorrow.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Sick and short and sick of seal to die beat. Yeah,
- 11:56Speaker 1: so wrong. I mean, we can die. You gotta go
- 12:01Speaker 1: with it. It's just wrong, though it is well and fault. Yeah,
- 12:10Speaker 1: I'm good. You know. Oh this Corona thing, man, Donald Trump,
- 12:16Speaker 1: listen if you if Oh he's mad at Twitter now
- 12:21Speaker 1: social media. Oh yeah, because they, for the first time ever,
- 12:24Speaker 1: they started fact checking the things he was putting on Twitter.
- 12:30Speaker 1: So now he mad because they busting him with the truth.
- 12:34Speaker 1: That's pretty this this, this is an interesting guy that's
- 12:36Speaker 1: in this White House. And if we don't get out
- 12:38Speaker 1: to vote, man, I just don't want to talk about
- 12:41Speaker 1: him for four more years, right exactly, I just don't exactly.
- 12:45Speaker 1: I don't want to feel conservative voice, No we're trying
- 12:50Speaker 1: to shut down some of these lives. You're gonna have
- 12:54Speaker 1: to pull up all this line, you man. I'm talking
- 12:58Speaker 1: about just lie for no read re read when the
- 13:01Speaker 1: truth will do as you always say, Steve, lie and tweet,
- 13:06Speaker 1: tweet and lie. That's all we do. And he'll tweet
- 13:10Speaker 1: a lot. So now he's mad. So you're gonna try
- 13:12Speaker 1: and shift them down. Don't you need to go through
- 13:17Speaker 1: Congress to do all of that. I mean, you can
- 13:20Speaker 1: just shut down on old media platform called then you go.
- 13:23Speaker 1: You don't like what they say? All right, we're coming up.
- 13:28Speaker 1: We'll talk more about our illustrious we later of the
- 13:34Speaker 1: free world. Yeah, you guys, think of some outrageous lives
- 13:38Speaker 1: that you told. See if they compare. We're coming back
- 13:41Speaker 1: at thirty two minutes after the hour, that's right after this.
- 13:44Speaker 1: You're listening to the morning show. All right, guys, coming
- 13:49Speaker 1: up at the time of the hour, U civil rights

- 13:58Speaker 1: the unfortunate uh murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis. We'll
- 14:04Speaker 1: talk about that brutality, Yeah, at its worst, at its worst.
- 14:09Speaker 1: And also before we went to break, we talked about
- 14:13Speaker 1: the president and uh, he's mad at Twitter now and
- 14:16Speaker 1: social media calling he might shut it down, he's saying,
- 14:20Speaker 1: because they're fact checking him on the things that he tweets. Okay, okay,
- 14:25Speaker 1: you know he can't. But you know what, shut it down?
- 14:30Speaker 1: What you're gonna do? Right then? You don't using it? Yeah,
- 14:35Speaker 1: ain't nobody using it? Moding you. I ain't tight nothing
- 14:39Speaker 1: on you. I say, go ahead and shut it down.
- 14:43Speaker 1: And then what you're gonna do because because they're fact
- 14:46Speaker 1: checking you, which means they're just going over some stuff
- 14:48Speaker 1: you're saying that's not true. They're not trying to quiet
- 14:51Speaker 1: conservative voices. They're trying to quiet down some of the lies. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 14:57Speaker 1: it's too many. It's too many. You got to lie
- 14:59Speaker 1: about it, every damn thing. It's the biggest lie, the
- 15:04Speaker 1: most outrageous lie you've told. Steve Who not the whoo whoo.
- 15:10Speaker 1: But you're not the president, so it's okay, who who?
- 15:15Speaker 1: Just give me your age and an instant I got
- 15:19Speaker 1: some classic one of my lines still going. I can't
- 15:22Speaker 1: tell that one go in not that you're living your
- 15:25Speaker 1: life thirty two thirty two. Careful, careful, get your thoughts.
- 15:34Speaker 1: I told a man that fixed my car because I
- 15:37Speaker 1: was homeless, four hundred and twelve dollars If you fix
- 15:43Speaker 1: this car, I'm coming right back with the money. Homeless. Hell,
- 15:51Speaker 1: I got four hundred dollars. You were living. So what happened?
- 15:57Speaker 1: He fixed that? I drove off. He fixed a car Kentucky.
- 16:02Speaker 1: I drove the floor. I can't come back here. He
- 16:08Speaker 1: believed you though, right, I can't come back. He always
- 16:11Speaker 1: hit it. He always hit across the world. You got
- 16:14Speaker 1: to go south. Causes warm and you can't stay up
- 16:16Speaker 1: in Kentucky get cold Tennessee and get cold something. I
- 16:20Speaker 1: had to go south, all right? God, So did he
- 16:24Speaker 1: chase after you? Or you know? You know? I told her,
- 16:26Speaker 1: I told her I'm coming right back. Oh he gave
- 16:29Speaker 1: you the car. Oh yeah, he gave me to come
- 16:31Speaker 1: n I felt bad about it, you know, but that's
- 16:33Speaker 1: one of the big lives I took. Give me another incident.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Sh I gotta give him another age. All right. Let's see,
- 16:41Speaker 1: that was thirty two. Getting in twenties, it's gonna say,
- 16:44Speaker 1: how about twenty sixty twenty. That's a good age, umbers
- 16:52Speaker 1: I took. I took the Military Interest exam. Okay, I
- 16:58Speaker 1: was about twenty seven dos, and you can still go
- 17:01Speaker 1: to the army at twenty seven. I scored really high
- 17:05Speaker 1: on the test. To ask me what I wanted to do.
- 17:07Speaker 1: I wanted to be in medical field. I went home
- 17:10Speaker 1: and told my brother, Hey, man, I'm enlisting in the army.
- 17:12Speaker 1: I ain't got nothing going for me. I gotta make
- 17:14Speaker 1: some money. I got the two kids. He said, what
- 17:16Speaker 1: you're gonna do? I said, I'm joining the army. He said,
- 17:19Speaker 1: your black hands can't get in No army, dog, he said,
- 17:23Speaker 1: because because you don't follow orders. Oh oh yeah, you
- 17:26Speaker 1: don't like you don't like nobody telling you what. Dude,
- 17:28Speaker 1: You're gonna go down there. Just start knocking them little
- 17:30Speaker 1: white kids out. Your hands can't go, no army, he said,
- 17:34Speaker 1: Go back down there and tell them you can't go.
- 17:36Speaker 1: So I went back down and told him I can't
- 17:39Speaker 1: go to the army no more because my uncle has
- 17:43Speaker 1: passed and my aunt needs my help. Oh my god.
- 17:51Speaker 1: That that recruiter looked at me and went, bro, what
- 17:55Speaker 1: that's what he said to me? Black? He said, Bro,
- 17:58Speaker 1: what he says again? Tim, say, my uncle passed and
- 18:03Speaker 1: my aunt needs my hell. He said, you ain't know
- 18:05Speaker 1: he was dead. For you took the test. You can't back.
- 18:14Speaker 1: I said, yeah, but I hadn't thought of it though. Yeah. Classic,
- 18:23Speaker 1: are you wait a minute, get a childhood something he
- 18:27Speaker 1: lied about when he was a kid. All right, let's go.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Let's go to twelve okay, okay, yeah, ten or twelve
- 18:34Speaker 1: right around in there. I told I told, I told
- 18:39Speaker 1: this girl I liked. I was young. I told Donna Bland.
- 18:43Speaker 1: We had fold calls. You you mean your family? Yeah? Uh,
- 18:49Speaker 1: what I mean, why did you tell her that? Yeah?
- 18:52Speaker 1: I want to really think we was a big time family.
- 18:54Speaker 1: We had folk calls. She said, where you parker? I said,
- 18:57Speaker 1: two of them in the driveway? She said were others? Two?
- 19:00Speaker 1: I said it in front of the house. She said,
- 19:01Speaker 1: let's go around now. And then what happened? Okay? Did
- 19:05Speaker 1: so we started walking? What do you mean cars? So
- 19:10Speaker 1: I have not me but my family family. So we
- 19:13Speaker 1: walked down. There was no car down there because my
- 19:16Speaker 1: daddy wouldn't all work. It was in the summertime. She said,
- 19:19Speaker 1: where the folk cars? I said that one, that one
- 19:22Speaker 1: that wasn't that one? She said, go get go sit
- 19:25Speaker 1: in it. Well, I looked at her so crazy. She
- 19:28Speaker 1: didn't give you if I if I climbing mister Jackson's car.
- 19:34Speaker 1: When she didn't believe you. Then I said the doors locked.
- 19:41Speaker 1: She said, open your car. Yeah. I like her. She was.
- 19:50Speaker 1: That's she, That's the woman she was gonna be. So
- 19:53Speaker 1: as I walked to the next car, she said, go
- 19:55Speaker 1: get in that car. Three cars. I wouldn't get in
- 19:58Speaker 1: no car. Finally got to the third cast she told
- 20:01Speaker 1: me again, I just ran in the house and the
- 20:04Speaker 1: end ain't for you. Think this line he doing all right?
- 20:12Speaker 1: Eighteen eighteen, Steve, that's the good year you got thirty
- 20:18Speaker 1: second a big Trump type like, come on, make us proud.
- 20:25Speaker 1: I'm gonna tweet it when you're ten. Come on. I
- 20:29Speaker 1: told Janet Halkins that I loved her from the moment
- 20:36Speaker 1: I saw her. She turned around and said, my last
- 20:39Speaker 1: name ain't Hawkins. Come next, nephew in the building. The
- 20:47Speaker 1: other crazy part of the family run that brank back.

- 22:38Speaker 1: six foot two in height and two hundred pounds, how
- 22:42Speaker 1: much plastic you think I would need to wrap to
- 22:44Speaker 1: wrap that up? In this second, You're you're asking for plastic,
- 22:47Speaker 1: like a roll of plastics. Yeah, but I'm telling I
- 22:50Speaker 1: need to wrap up something that's six foot two and
- 22:51Speaker 1: like two hundred and ten pounds. I probably wouldn't get
- 22:55Speaker 1: about three yards four yards of plastics. Okay, okay, I
- 22:58Speaker 1: need to get that. Let me ask you this here.
- 23:01Speaker 1: If you was gonna try to put some semen on
- 23:03Speaker 1: that to hold it down, how much seamen you think
- 23:06Speaker 1: I hold that down? I'm more confused. You you're running
- 23:09Speaker 1: a roofing company, right, Yeah, I'm a roofer company, but
- 23:11Speaker 1: I'm doing a little side work for some friends of mine.
- 23:13Speaker 1: Oh okay, okay, I just got a little confused because
- 23:16Speaker 1: you teld me it's a tiller's roofing company. No problem,
- 23:17Speaker 1: no problem, We've got some man, Wyny. You're you're you're
- 23:20Speaker 1: trying to hold something down. I'm trying to I'm trying
- 23:23Speaker 1: to hold something down. So how many bags of siement
- 23:25Speaker 1: do you think I need to hold down something that's
- 23:27Speaker 1: two hundred and twenty pounds? Wow, I don't know. El
- 23:32Speaker 1: eight bags, eight bags, eight bags bags I would recommend
- 23:35Speaker 1: at least. Okay, okay, give me eight bags a siemen.
- 23:38Speaker 1: Now just something else. I want to ask you. Do
- 23:40Speaker 1: you have anything any type of cleaner man that can
- 23:43Speaker 1: get U that can get blood? I mean a paint
- 23:45Speaker 1: off the floor. Yeah, we got industrial cleaners, I mean
- 23:47Speaker 1: all kind of industrial cleaners that well, you said, paint
- 23:50Speaker 1: the paint of blood. U paint pr prank. Oh okay, yeah,
- 23:55Speaker 1: I mean I got industrial cleans A lot kind. I
- 23:57Speaker 1: mean you have a preference, no, just whatever you could
- 23:59Speaker 1: throw in there. I need that. Now let me ask
- 24:01Speaker 1: you this here. Do you have anything that can like
- 24:03Speaker 1: just kill a smell? You know what I'm saying. If
- 24:06Speaker 1: you know, if you don't want something to smell, you
- 24:08Speaker 1: got anything for that man's something something, something die in
- 24:11Speaker 1: your place? Is this is something something? Did you like, yeah,
- 24:14Speaker 1: there're an animal or something you found? I mean, I'm
- 24:16Speaker 1: kind of confused. You're talking about smell and cleaning up.
- 24:18Speaker 1: Did you find some sort of animal on a construction
- 24:21Speaker 1: a robby? Listen, man, just take the arder. That's all
- 24:24Speaker 1: I need you to do. Okay, okay, No, I'm sorry.
- 24:27Speaker 1: I wasn't asking your business. I just it was a
- 24:28Speaker 1: little concerned. What are we getting, what are we cleaning up?
- 24:31Speaker 1: And what do we I mean I guess that I
- 24:33Speaker 1: would clean up a tile ford to clean up carpet.
- 24:35Speaker 1: I mean, what's the what's the cleaner form? What's get what?
- 24:37Speaker 1: Where's the odor? Sir? All, I'm asking you, do you
- 24:40Speaker 1: have something strong enough? Like do you think ammonia can
- 24:44Speaker 1: can keep a smell down? What do I need to
- 24:45Speaker 1: keep a smell down? You're definitely gonna need ammonia. I mean,
- 24:48Speaker 1: you gotta get something to just scrub that right down,
- 24:50Speaker 1: because I mean, whatever that sense is, if it's in
- 24:52Speaker 1: your if it's in the walls, if you got fabrics
- 24:55Speaker 1: in that place, I mean, whatever, whatever you got it,
- 24:57Speaker 1: you probably have a different type of the odorize or
- 24:59Speaker 1: something for the I put something for the walls. I mean,
- 25:01Speaker 1: I don't. I guess. I guess it's kind of confused
- 25:04Speaker 1: as to where the sense coming from. And don't worry
- 25:08Speaker 1: about all that, man, Hey man, listen, just just right
- 25:10Speaker 1: down on what the order is. Okay, I got it you.
- 25:14Speaker 1: I got the five hold of duct tape I got
- 25:15Speaker 1: to put. That's the four yards of plastic, got the
- 25:17Speaker 1: eight back of cement. I got the industrial clean, I
- 25:19Speaker 1: got the ammonia. I'm I'm, I'm, I'm typing it all in.
- 25:21Speaker 1: I got I've got your order. Okay, let me I
- 25:23Speaker 1: just set a man, do y'all? Hell uh? Any type
- 25:25Speaker 1: of machete, anything that's real sharp that can cut what? Okay? Okay,
- 25:30Speaker 1: hold on a second, and now now you're completely off base.
- 25:32Speaker 1: You do realize you call the hardware store, right, I'm
- 25:35Speaker 1: calling the hardware store because I need some supplies. Man,
- 25:37Speaker 1: I'm doing the job on the side. I need some supplies.
- 25:39Speaker 1: I get there. You you said there already, But I'm
- 25:41Speaker 1: confused about it. Now you're asking for a weapon. What
- 25:44Speaker 1: what what would you use in machetding for? I mean
- 25:46Speaker 1: you're you're talking about what you're gonna chop down some
- 25:49Speaker 1: some some brush. I don't, I don't. I don't get it.
- 25:51Speaker 1: What's in the shedding for? Hey? Man, listen, listen. Your
- 25:54Speaker 1: job is to take the order, man, that's your job. Robbie,
- 25:57Speaker 1: don't tell me what my job is. I know what
- 25:59Speaker 1: my job is. This is my store, man, Okay. I've
- 26:02Speaker 1: been working here a lot longer than you even can rematchine.
- 26:05Speaker 1: And people don't call up asking for ammonia and and
- 26:08Speaker 1: cleaner and and try to get a smell out. I
- 26:11Speaker 1: mean what I just I'm trying to think about how
- 26:13Speaker 1: best to help you. I'm sorry where I'm doing. Robbie,
- 26:16Speaker 1: Is you be a nosy? You be a nosy? All
- 26:18Speaker 1: you gotta do is field order and haven't haven't done
- 26:20Speaker 1: in two hours when I get there. That's all you
- 26:22Speaker 1: gotta do. I can't do that in two hours. I
- 26:26Speaker 1: can't even I go back up with this point. I
- 26:29Speaker 1: might even sure I can get this done. Maybe tomorrow morning,
- 26:31Speaker 1: just tomorrow morning. We fo y oh man. I got
- 26:33Speaker 1: to get rid of this body. I got to get
- 26:35Speaker 1: rid of this guy today. Whoa whoa, whoa, whoa whoa.
- 26:40Speaker 1: I need to call listen, I need to call the policeman.
- 26:42Speaker 1: You just hit bodies. That right there. That's about white
- 26:47Speaker 1: people always want to call the police when it ain't
- 26:49Speaker 1: got nothing to do with them. Listen, all you need
- 26:51Speaker 1: to do is field a order. Okay, Okay, you're listen.
- 26:57Speaker 1: I need to tell you something. Okay. And I don't
- 26:59Speaker 1: know if you're if you're found a body, I don't
- 27:01Speaker 1: know if you're responsible from the body either a way.
- 27:03Speaker 1: I don't want to be any part of this business. Okay.
- 27:05Speaker 1: I don't know why you're planning or where you're trying
- 27:07Speaker 1: to bury this thing, but you're basically asking me to
- 27:09Speaker 1: be accomplice to something that's none of my business. Hey,
- 27:12Speaker 1: I need your name right now. Okay, I'm not giving
- 27:15Speaker 1: you my name. You say also proofing? Hey, hey, listen
- 27:19Speaker 1: to me. You said you're calling from Troofing company. Are
- 27:22Speaker 1: you I'm not? I'm not. Hey, man, let me tell
- 27:24Speaker 1: you something. Why are your wife folks always trying to
- 27:26Speaker 1: be a bard? Tell you like that? Why are you
- 27:28Speaker 1: want to win? Acting like? Why are you folks? What
- 27:30Speaker 1: your problems talking about? Wife? Folks talking about purple green,
- 27:33Speaker 1: black blue water? You're talking about? Why it's about you're
- 27:36Speaker 1: asking for that? Sounds like trying to bury your body. Okay,
- 27:38Speaker 1: that's what I'm trying to think of. Are you You're not?
- 27:41Speaker 1: What is your name? I need your name? I'm your
- 27:43Speaker 1: name right now? Hey? Man, Well, first of all, you
- 27:45Speaker 1: at work? Do you not? You can't? You guys want
- 27:46Speaker 1: to be talking to me like this. I don't care
- 27:48Speaker 1: if I'm swearing at work. Mike comm comm My co workers,
- 27:51Speaker 1: the two we are. They all know who I am,
- 27:53Speaker 1: and I know if I was talking to someone some
- 27:54Speaker 1: people you I've been talking like this too. Okay, I'm
- 27:57Speaker 1: gonna trace this call. You tell me. I'm gonna trace
- 27:59Speaker 1: this call. I'm gonna get the cops on your and
- 28:01Speaker 1: figuring out who the you are? Okay, okay, well let
- 28:04Speaker 1: me let me ask you this. Since you want to
- 28:06Speaker 1: know who I am? Do you know Marcus? I know Marcus?
- 28:10Speaker 1: No market, he works here, man, I know him. Okay,
- 28:14Speaker 1: Marcus is who got me to call you? This is
- 28:17Speaker 1: nephew Timmy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Robbie, you
- 28:20Speaker 1: just got pranked by your co worker, Marcus. You have
- 28:26Speaker 1: got to be kidding me, Marcus, marcut I see you
- 28:31Speaker 1: over there, I see you. I can't believe that whose
- 28:36Speaker 1: son of a Marcus, why don't you tell me this
- 28:41Speaker 1: your baby. I gotta ask you, Robber, you gotta tell
- 28:43Speaker 1: me this man, what is the baddest and I mean
- 28:46Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the land as easiest Steve
- 28:50Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. And there you have it. You don't
- 28:55Speaker 1: you played too much? I need some duct tape, I
- 28:58Speaker 1: need some cements. Get your nephew. I'm working on all right.
- 29:06Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, as promise,
- 29:08Speaker 1: civil rights attorney Benjamin Crump will be here and we'll
- 29:12Speaker 1: be back right after this. You're listening, all right? Everybody
- 29:19Speaker 1: asked promise. We got our special guests on the phone.
- 29:23Speaker 1: Family member. But you know, manage. We've given this brother
- 29:27Speaker 1: awards for all the work he's done in our community.
- 29:30Speaker 1: But I mean, man, I wish we didn't have to
- 29:33Speaker 1: award him. But if we didn't have him fighting on
- 29:36Speaker 1: the front lines for justice for those people who are
- 29:39Speaker 1: the underserved in the Justice department, I mean, where will
- 29:43Speaker 1: we be? Uh. He's most notably, uh the most probably
- 29:48Speaker 1: right now today, the most accomplished civil rights attorney of
- 29:52Speaker 1: our time. He's handled the biggest wrong for deaf cases
- 29:56Speaker 1: that we've had in the past ten years and now
- 30:00Speaker 1: sadly just another traumatic death caught on video that has
- 30:04Speaker 1: gone viral. It's the murder of mister George Floyd in Minneapolis, Minnesota,
- 30:08Speaker 1: and ladies and gentleman, Attorney Crump is presenting the family,
- 30:11Speaker 1: mister George for George Floyd, please welcome back to the show,
- 30:14Speaker 1: Attorney Benjamin Crump. Welcome, Welcome, call a nephew, everybody. Steve,
- 30:23Speaker 1: thank you always for giving me the platform to talk
- 30:26Speaker 1: about how we uplift our coulture and uplift our people.
- 30:30Speaker 1: And I need you now more than ever because with
- 30:34Speaker 1: George Floyd, when I first saw the video, I said,
- 30:39Speaker 1: oh my god, this is another Eric Gardener. I can't
- 30:44Speaker 1: breede case. But it's in twenty twenty Caller and Shirley,
- 30:50Speaker 1: and it's worse. It's worse because literally, you see a
- 30:55Speaker 1: man who is faced down, Steve in handcuffs. You see
- 31:00Speaker 1: a police officer with his knee on his neck. Not
- 31:05Speaker 1: for one minute, not for two minutes, not for three minutes,
- 31:09Speaker 1: not for four minutes, not for five minutes, not for
- 31:12Speaker 1: six minutes, not for seven minutes, not for eight minutes,
- 31:16Speaker 1: but for nine minutes. And I keep doing that for
- 31:20Speaker 1: dramatic effects, Steve, because people need to realize how long
- 31:25Speaker 1: this brother was down there, beggings, calling for his mama
- 31:30Speaker 1: and I can't breathe, and the fact that these police
- 31:34Speaker 1: officers offer him no humanity. I mean, you had the
- 31:39Speaker 1: citizens in the public saying, please just get your knee
- 31:43Speaker 1: off of his neck, y'all gonna kill him. They were
- 31:46Speaker 1: trying to de escavate the situation, while the police were
- 31:49Speaker 1: supposed to be trained in de escalation, but they were
- 31:53Speaker 1: escalating it. And Steve, I just try to make this
- 31:57Speaker 1: point so graphic. If you out there in America you
- 32:03Speaker 1: have a cell phone, just take it and make your
- 32:07Speaker 1: stock watching set for nine minutes and then just let
- 32:12Speaker 1: the time pass. And as the time passing, I want
- 32:16Speaker 1: you to sit there and try to think if you
- 32:18Speaker 1: have somebody who had their knee on your neck and
- 32:22Speaker 1: you were trying to breathe, and you kept begging them
- 32:25Speaker 1: please take your knee off my neck and they wouldn't,
- 32:29Speaker 1: and all these minutes passed and you suffocate to death. Well,
- 32:34Speaker 1: that is the last minutes that George Floyd was on
- 32:40Speaker 1: this earth. And it is a tragedy and it is murder,
- 32:44Speaker 1: that is what it is. You pointed out something that
- 32:48Speaker 1: this man was on the ground with this man's knee
- 32:51Speaker 1: on his neck for nine minutes, and you're trying to
- 32:54Speaker 1: get people to understand how long that is. Now, let's
- 32:58Speaker 1: talk about a couple of things. You talked about training.
- 33:02Speaker 1: What is it? I mean, because when you when I
- 33:05Speaker 1: see a victim handcuffed and he's faced down, I don't
- 33:11Speaker 1: I don't know of any man that can whip me
- 33:17Speaker 1: that's face down and handcuffed behind his back. I just
- 33:21Speaker 1: don't know. I don't see how you can whip me.
- 33:25Speaker 1: You might, but I mean especially and I have a gun,
- 33:29Speaker 1: I have a taser, and I have a billy club,
- 33:33Speaker 1: And so I'm trying to understand what's in the training
- 33:37Speaker 1: manual for the knee in the neck? You know, Steve,
- 33:43Speaker 1: That's what they always try to say, that they're trained
- 33:47Speaker 1: to use necessary ports. But there was nothing necessary about
- 33:53Speaker 1: putting your knee. And when you already got him handcuffed
- 33:56Speaker 1: and he's already faced down, and our police expert tells
- 34:00Speaker 1: us because Steve, I don't know, if you notice how
- 34:03Speaker 1: he has his hands in his pocket the whole time.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Sold no chilling, chilling man. It's left like I got
- 34:11Speaker 1: how comfortable the police officer was that this was totally
- 34:14Speaker 1: under control. I got this man handcuffed my full body
- 34:18Speaker 1: weight with my knee on his neck. I can put
- 34:22Speaker 1: my hands in my pocket because there's nothing he can
- 34:24Speaker 1: do to me. I was sitting there going okay. So
- 34:28Speaker 1: all right, Crump, let me ask you this man. Okay. Now,
- 34:33Speaker 1: some pictures have surfaced of this police officer with a
- 34:39Speaker 1: hat that says make quite great again. Have you seen this?
- 34:47Speaker 1: I have seen it. We haven't been able to authenticate it, Steve. Okay,
- 34:52Speaker 1: so we have not validated it. Okay, but we do
- 34:56Speaker 1: know these officers, these officers that were terminated. Steve has
- 35:02Speaker 1: had allegations previously of using excessive force, and we believe
- 35:08Speaker 1: the majority of those were on black people. Yeah, hey,
- 35:13Speaker 1: you know something, Attorney Crump. You and I have talked
- 35:16Speaker 1: about this many times. I have come to the conclusion
- 35:19Speaker 1: that this is what I think, in my opinion, has
- 35:22Speaker 1: to happen. I understand the anger. I understand the protest.
- 35:29Speaker 1: I get it. Man. When you take people who have
- 35:33Speaker 1: been trying to get your attention for a while, are
- 35:37Speaker 1: they mad? And so I understand the protest. Now, the
- 35:41Speaker 1: protests that turned violent. That's I understand the anger. I
- 35:47Speaker 1: just get the anger. I think that's something else that
- 35:51Speaker 1: has to happen here. Attorney Crump, hang on, we'll be
- 35:54Speaker 1: right back. We got more with Attorney Crump right after this.
- 35:56Speaker 1: I have several questions for you about this case, sir.
- 35:59Speaker 1: Please hold on. You're listening, all, y'all. We're back. We're
- 36:05Speaker 1: back with civil rights attorney, Attorney Benjamin Crump, and we've
- 36:09Speaker 1: been talking about the mister George Floyd murder. And I'm
- 36:14Speaker 1: very serious about this, and I want you to just
- 36:16Speaker 1: give me your opinion. I think that this ends when
- 36:21Speaker 1: we have what I'm calling white outrage. That's the only
- 36:26Speaker 1: thing I see. We have to have white outrage. I
- 36:30Speaker 1: did a closing remark a couple of weeks ago during
- 36:32Speaker 1: the Aubrey situation, and I just asked if I could
- 36:37Speaker 1: find just a few good white folks, just a few
- 36:42Speaker 1: who are as outraged as we are. I then asked,
- 36:47Speaker 1: the few good white folks, if y'all could just treat
- 36:50Speaker 1: us like you do the snow leopards, if you could
- 36:54Speaker 1: treat us the way you treat polar bears or any
- 37:00Speaker 1: other endangered species, it would help us greater and the
- 37:05Speaker 1: Amy Cooper video that called on the black man in
- 37:09Speaker 1: the damn park. Ye, she was choking that little punk
- 37:13Speaker 1: ass Doghood and Peter Peter came forward and took her
- 37:19Speaker 1: dog from her, Yes they did. If we could get
- 37:23Speaker 1: Peter on our side, come on, boy, because they treat
- 37:28Speaker 1: us like animals. If we could get Peter on our side,
- 37:32Speaker 1: and if we could get the Jewish Defense League on
- 37:35Speaker 1: our side and the ACLU on our side, we need
- 37:38Speaker 1: some white outrage to fight that. Could I form a
- 37:42Speaker 1: campaign that could make that happen? In your opinion, sir,
- 37:45Speaker 1: I think you could have Seve, and that's necessary because
- 37:49Speaker 1: black people have been outraged for decades. It don't seem
- 37:54Speaker 1: like they care. But where are the people who are
- 37:59Speaker 1: more people? As Martin Luther King said, you cannot call
- 38:04Speaker 1: yourself a good person. You cannot call yourself a moral person.
- 38:09Speaker 1: If you see evil and then you turn and look
- 38:12Speaker 1: the other way, that's not the definition of a good person.
- 38:16Speaker 1: And so when we talk a wild fact, Steve, but
- 38:20Speaker 1: about my books Open Season to legalize genocide of colored people,
- 38:25Speaker 1: it was not just these tragic killings of our unarmed children,
- 38:31Speaker 1: mostly young black men and young women in a lot
- 38:34Speaker 1: of regards, but it was also what happens in the aftermast,
- 38:40Speaker 1: the fact that in Amad Aubrey over ten weeks past
- 38:45Speaker 1: and the system tried to cover up his legions. And
- 38:49Speaker 1: then you look at this legend of George Floyd by
- 38:53Speaker 1: the police and Amad Aubrey. They would want to be police.
- 38:56Speaker 1: They were Quadi police. These were the real police. And
- 39:01Speaker 1: you see the mayor terminated them based on what he
- 39:05Speaker 1: said was just one of the most horrific executions he's
- 39:10Speaker 1: ever seen. Hold on right there, Attorney Crump. Listen, y'all,
- 39:14Speaker 1: we'll be back with more. I think we have the
- 39:16Speaker 1: very enlightening conversation going on. I think we're gonna hold
- 39:19Speaker 1: him up. We'll be right back with more from Attorney
- 39:22Speaker 1: Benjamin Crump right after this. You're listening, all right, everybody,
- 39:28Speaker 1: We're back. We're talking today with one of the most
- 39:33Speaker 1: renowned civil rights attorneys of our day and time today,
- 39:37Speaker 1: and that's Attorney Benjamin Crump. We've been angry for a
- 39:41Speaker 1: long time, and we keep getting angry, and we keep protesting,
- 39:45Speaker 1: and it keeps happening. But then you see the district
- 39:48Speaker 1: attorney Fan Well, we still got to investigate and I'm
- 39:54Speaker 1: saying to myself, Fee, what do we have to investigate?
- 39:57Speaker 1: The video showed us everything we needed to see. If
- 40:01Speaker 1: this was your children, are my children, Steed, and they
- 40:05Speaker 1: had a video, man, they wouldn't need no more probable calls.
- 40:09Speaker 1: We get arrest it with no video at all. Every day.
- 40:12Speaker 1: But when the police killer, they say, oh, we got
- 40:15Speaker 1: to investigate for four to five months, six months, I
- 40:18Speaker 1: hope everybody to kill about it because they know they're
- 40:21Speaker 1: gonna kill another unarmed black person and all the attention
- 40:24Speaker 1: to go from this case. And so that's why we
- 40:28Speaker 1: need to watch white outrage secause. Yeah. See, that's where
- 40:33Speaker 1: I'm at with it right now, because I think, like
- 40:35Speaker 1: you said a second ago, But and like I said before,
- 40:39Speaker 1: and I have to repeat myself sometimes because I only
- 40:42Speaker 1: got a couple of goods saying, so I use them
- 40:44Speaker 1: a lot. What slaves off. Real slavery didn't end just
- 40:50Speaker 1: cast black people got tired of being slaves. That was
- 40:54Speaker 1: a large group of well meaning whites who went, Wow,
- 40:57Speaker 1: we're gonna form a group called abolitionists, and we're gonna
- 41:00Speaker 1: help these people because this ain't right. We are at
- 41:03Speaker 1: another point in our world where this ain't right. I mean, man,
- 41:08Speaker 1: you don't know the cause I've gotten from Africans going, man,
- 41:13Speaker 1: why they hate y'all like that over there? You don't
- 41:15Speaker 1: know how many friends cause I've got from friends of
- 41:17Speaker 1: mine in the UAE, going, what in the world is
- 41:20Speaker 1: going on over there? We need well meaning white folks.
- 41:26Speaker 1: I'm just looking for a few good white folks and
- 41:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna start the campaign. I really am, man. I
- 41:31Speaker 1: just need. I don't know how to do it, but
- 41:34Speaker 1: I'm gonna just starting. I'm gonna just start with me.
- 41:37Speaker 1: I need. I was gonna say, let me put something
- 41:40Speaker 1: on the record for you and Shirley, because y'all do
- 41:44Speaker 1: understand many Minneapolis is where Fernandocers still killed and his
- 41:51Speaker 1: little girls in the back seat his girlfriend Damond with
- 41:54Speaker 1: face timing on Facebook live and they did not convict
- 41:59Speaker 1: that offer. But there was a white woman from Australia
- 42:03Speaker 1: and a yard alley where a Ethiopian police officer shot
- 42:08Speaker 1: her accidentally in the dark alley. They convicted him and
- 42:15Speaker 1: sent him to prison for fifteen years. History no excessive
- 42:20Speaker 1: for us. And then see they awarded her family twenty
- 42:25Speaker 1: five million dollars without even them having to power lawsuit
- 42:30Speaker 1: Orlando could still he this killer did not go to
- 42:35Speaker 1: prison and they only gave his family three point five
- 42:40Speaker 1: million dollars when we talk about the value of black life.
- 42:43Speaker 1: So it's gonna be fascinating now that we're in the
- 42:47Speaker 1: same city on George Floyd case that, with all due
- 42:52Speaker 1: respect to Plando could still and the woman from Australia,
- 42:56Speaker 1: I think it's far more terrific. And so Minneapolis, what
- 43:01Speaker 1: are you gonna do now? How are you going to
- 43:03Speaker 1: treat this black life? Because where the white people, to
- 43:06Speaker 1: say George Floyd need to have equal jestures. Where the
- 43:10Speaker 1: police go to prison and give two children, one of
- 43:13Speaker 1: them six year old, one of them twenty two, who
- 43:16Speaker 1: can get a college education. And that's six year old baby.
- 43:19Speaker 1: When she grow up, Steve and she's about ten or eleven,
- 43:23Speaker 1: and she's learning about how to be a woman, and
- 43:26Speaker 1: she says, well, where's my daddy, where's my role model?
- 43:30Speaker 1: And we're gonna have to say this video is what
- 43:33Speaker 1: happened to your father? Wow? Then Crump, we applaud you.
- 43:38Speaker 1: Ben Crump. I mean you're out there all the time fighting.
- 43:42Speaker 1: It's non stops. Yeah, it's you're on the front line.
- 43:45Speaker 1: Is loaded and you know we support you and we
- 43:51Speaker 1: love you. And I didn't mean to get that emotion
- 43:53Speaker 1: of y'all. I was just listening to Steve and it
- 43:55Speaker 1: clicked in me that it's just such a dubble standard.
- 43:59Speaker 1: We need our white This subts to say that we
- 44:02Speaker 1: can't have two justice systems in America, one for block
- 44:06Speaker 1: America and one for white America. We got to have
- 44:09Speaker 1: equal jet, say Attorney Crump. Hang on one second, right there, folks,
- 44:15Speaker 1: we'll be right back with more Attorney Crump right after this.
- 44:18Speaker 1: You're listening to right, everybody, We're back Steve Harvey Mortis Show.
- 44:24Speaker 1: We're talking with Attorney Benjamin Crump. This is the only
- 44:28Speaker 1: way this is going to change. See, you can't the
- 44:34Speaker 1: reason we need the Jewish Defense League to help us ACLU.
- 44:38Speaker 1: What's the organization of white evangelicals down south? What is
- 44:42Speaker 1: that call? No idea? You know, the Southern Christians, Son
- 44:49Speaker 1: not the Southern property What do you mean? Southern Baptist,
- 44:53Speaker 1: the Southern the Southern Batsa, the Southern Evangelicals, the white
- 44:58Speaker 1: group of religious leaders south. See, what you can't do
- 45:03Speaker 1: is if you allow hate to exist, then it's gonna
- 45:07Speaker 1: eventually get over there. By you see. But the Jewish
- 45:12Speaker 1: Defensive League has to help us because it's a hate
- 45:15Speaker 1: crime against black people. Most people that don't like black
- 45:18Speaker 1: people probably don't like Jewish people either. Most people don't
- 45:21Speaker 1: like Jews or black people probably don't like gay people either.
- 45:24Speaker 1: Most people that don't like none of them groups right
- 45:26Speaker 1: there probably don't like the other group. So once we
- 45:29Speaker 1: allow hate to exist on any form of any group
- 45:33Speaker 1: of people for any reason, that we allow it to
- 45:36Speaker 1: go unchecked, it can easily spread to the next group.
- 45:40Speaker 1: That's why I'm calling on white outrage to join in
- 45:44Speaker 1: with us, because I know every white person I ever
- 45:48Speaker 1: talk to says this is deplorable. All of them say
- 45:52Speaker 1: this is deployable. Okay, then help us stand with us,
- 45:57Speaker 1: because when they see us out there, it don't count. Look, man,
- 46:02Speaker 1: we've been marching for years and they didn't found ways
- 46:06Speaker 1: to negate that. Yeah. So now what they do is
- 46:10Speaker 1: every time they shoot one of us, they started doing
- 46:12Speaker 1: a background check to tell you where he had a
- 46:15Speaker 1: criminal background. He sold the weed, one time, he stole
- 46:19Speaker 1: a book, stole or sold some chips, you know, And
- 46:22Speaker 1: and they try to discredit us yet arrest and he
- 46:28Speaker 1: was I saw the tape. The man wasn't resisting nothing.
- 46:31Speaker 1: But when you had him on the ground, though, and
- 46:33Speaker 1: the man was pleading for you to get up. Off
- 46:35Speaker 1: a man when a black dude starts calling on his mama,
- 46:39Speaker 1: he is in his last moments of I ain't got
- 46:43Speaker 1: I just helped where my mama, maybe she can help me.
- 46:47Speaker 1: And you could see the man go out under his
- 46:49Speaker 1: knee and he still something with his hands in his pocket,
- 46:54Speaker 1: with his hands in his pocket because he had the
- 46:56Speaker 1: situation under control and he was comfortable with it. We
- 47:01Speaker 1: got everybody for everybody to sit there and watch it.
- 47:04Speaker 1: Even the guy I was facing the camera, they was
- 47:08Speaker 1: calm like it was nothing. Nothing. Yeah, if you're talking
- 47:12Speaker 1: about the officers, now, for the people who were saying
- 47:14Speaker 1: that the people with the cameras filming it should have
- 47:17Speaker 1: did something, that's how you get killed. That's how you
- 47:20Speaker 1: get I'm talking about the officers. The officers. But oh oh,
- 47:24Speaker 1: this is what I want to say. Here's what bothers
- 47:28Speaker 1: me about this situation. Police officers who work in high
- 47:32Speaker 1: crime areas oftentimes complain that they can't solve crimes and
- 47:39Speaker 1: they can't get to the root of the problem because
- 47:43Speaker 1: there's a no snitch policy in the hood. And if
- 47:48Speaker 1: you all would just help us solve these crimes instead
- 47:51Speaker 1: of playing this no snitch rule, we could help keep
- 47:55Speaker 1: you safe. That's the police on on forty eight hours
- 47:59Speaker 1: on for Real files on PD Live. If you watch
- 48:02Speaker 1: all these shows, that's say number one complain about high
- 48:05Speaker 1: crime areas. They have a no snitch pot. Ain't nobody
- 48:08Speaker 1: seeing nothing, don't nobody know nothing? Well, the police have
- 48:14Speaker 1: a no niche policy. See the police sit there and
- 48:19Speaker 1: watch a crime in progress because you know this ain't right,
- 48:24Speaker 1: and because here is your brother in blue, you sit
- 48:29Speaker 1: there and allow a crime to be committed, and you
- 48:33Speaker 1: won't come forward to say this was wrong because you
- 48:37Speaker 1: got to stand with your brother, because y'all put your
- 48:39Speaker 1: lives on the line together out there in the streets.
- 48:42Speaker 1: Now listen to me. You can't ask for no snitching
- 48:45Speaker 1: to work on this side and doing on have no
- 48:46Speaker 1: snitching to work on that side. They have a department
- 48:49Speaker 1: in the police department called internal affairs. All police officers
- 48:52Speaker 1: hate them. You know why because they investigate police officers.
- 48:56Speaker 1: But why the hell we need police officers being investigated
- 48:59Speaker 1: data at pole of law Because a lot of them
- 49:03Speaker 1: not the majority, but enough of them break the law
- 49:07Speaker 1: to we have moments like we have like this. So
- 49:10Speaker 1: in two police officers, I think Benjamin Brother clump until
- 49:14Speaker 1: police officers start standing up and saying, hey man, we
- 49:19Speaker 1: got it. We can't do this type of thing right here.
- 49:21Speaker 1: I think the no snitches in the police department big
- 49:24Speaker 1: as it is in the criminal system. That's profound. Steve,
- 49:28Speaker 1: I remember going on some television shows when we were
- 49:32Speaker 1: doing the Mike Brown and Tamil Rights Kaye a certain
- 49:37Speaker 1: network named after the little animal that runs through the woods,
- 49:41Speaker 1: and I would go on there and the guy who
- 49:47Speaker 1: is no longer owned there, who used to have the
- 49:49Speaker 1: no spins on, he would literally say to me, Steve Harvey, well,
- 49:53Speaker 1: Ben Krupp, we're here on another police shooting and you
- 49:56Speaker 1: and Black Lives Matter people are saying that all police
- 50:01Speaker 1: officers are bad. Do you believe that? Because when you
- 50:04Speaker 1: agree most police officers are good people? And Steve, I
- 50:08Speaker 1: would always stay back to Bill that hold on you
- 50:13Speaker 1: would agree that all black people aren't bad, when't you
- 50:17Speaker 1: agree most of them are good? Because we can't let
- 50:19Speaker 1: them have the high ground on morality and what you
- 50:22Speaker 1: just illustrated Steve Harber is the perfect point that I
- 50:27Speaker 1: know all police officers aren't bad police officers. They have
- 50:30Speaker 1: the police officers. But why come these good police officers
- 50:34Speaker 1: never tell on the bad police officers when they see
- 50:37Speaker 1: them doing Bro, we can't win like this because they
- 50:44Speaker 1: take an old for their brothers in blue to stand
- 50:47Speaker 1: with them sink or swim. So now they go back
- 50:51Speaker 1: and they cooborate each other's story in the police report,
- 50:55Speaker 1: and so the beat goes on. And then when black
- 50:59Speaker 1: people kill somebody. When when black people kill somebody white,
- 51:04Speaker 1: you're going to jail, and you already know it. When
- 51:06Speaker 1: white people kill somebody black, we are similar grand jury. Yeah,
- 51:10Speaker 1: we gotta wait and see you look over the tape
- 51:16Speaker 1: that because they damned they tried to pull that down
- 51:18Speaker 1: there in Brunswick. Oh yeah, because they was going to
- 51:22Speaker 1: similar grand jury to see if them to that father
- 51:25Speaker 1: and son murdered Aubrey. No no partner. Hold up. And
- 51:29Speaker 1: I do applaud this mayor in Minneapolis. You say he's
- 51:32Speaker 1: a former civil rights attorney. He is, and he reached
- 51:36Speaker 1: out to the family and he says, uh, very appropriate things,
- 51:42Speaker 1: and I think he was sincere um. But your asking
- 51:46Speaker 1: speaking so loud. We need not hear your words. It's
- 51:49Speaker 1: gonna be interesting that most time black people, Steve, we
- 51:54Speaker 1: can't get if you don't go the police officers gonna
- 51:58Speaker 1: go to prison. They'll give you a big settlement, but
- 52:01Speaker 1: you didn't get criminal prosecution. Well, if you get the
- 52:04Speaker 1: criminal prosecution, they say, well, no, the children can't get
- 52:07Speaker 1: no settlement because it was intentional. But when that white
- 52:10Speaker 1: lady was killed in Minneapolis, she got a criminal conviction
- 52:14Speaker 1: and they took care of her family and she didn't
- 52:17Speaker 1: even have children. Now George got two little children, two
- 52:22Speaker 1: girls that need to be taken care of. What is
- 52:24Speaker 1: this mayor gonna do for them after we get the
- 52:28Speaker 1: police convicted. Because I love what his brother says, Stephen,
- 52:31Speaker 1: you are like this time. I know you well too.
- 52:34Speaker 1: He said that the same way they had that knee
- 52:38Speaker 1: on my brother's neck, were gonna keep our foot on
- 52:42Speaker 1: day neck until they charge and convict these murder police
- 52:47Speaker 1: officers who took our brother from us. On this can happen, man,
- 52:54Speaker 1: We have to now we knew this being going on.
- 52:57Speaker 1: We just can't believe. Now y'all can see it, and
- 53:00Speaker 1: steal ain't doing And still the shot now is Okay,
- 53:05Speaker 1: now we're showing it to you and you steal ain't
- 53:07Speaker 1: doing nothing. Hold up, man, Yeah you got that's the shock,
- 53:12Speaker 1: Ben Crump. We applaud you, Ben Crump. I mean you're
- 53:16Speaker 1: out there all the time fighting. It's non stops. Yeah
- 53:20Speaker 1: for you, brother, we always hear from you. We appreciate you, man.
- 53:24Speaker 1: Thank you for taking out the time this morning. We
- 53:27Speaker 1: love you. Thank you, brother, appreciate thank you. You're listening

- 53:53Speaker 1: be reading your letter. You could be hearing your letter
- 53:55Speaker 1: live on the air, just like that one right there.
- 53:59Speaker 1: We're gonna do that right right now. Buckle up and
- 54:01Speaker 1: hold on tight. We got it for you. Here. It
- 54:03Speaker 1: is the straw Baby Letter. Thank you, nephew. I can't
- 54:06Speaker 1: even get drunk in peace. One more time. I can't
- 54:11Speaker 1: even get drunk in peace, but it seems like this
- 54:20Speaker 1: letters Taylor May for our crazy show though. Dear Steven Shirley.
- 54:24Speaker 1: I am a forty five year old black man. My
- 54:28Speaker 1: fiance is fifty six, and she's a great woman, but
- 54:31Speaker 1: I'm worried about marriage. We'd like to kick back and
- 54:34Speaker 1: relax and drink wine and alcohol. It depends on our mood,
- 54:39Speaker 1: so sometimes it's wine and sometimes it's the hard stuff.
- 54:43Speaker 1: We pretty much drink every day after work. I'm more
- 54:47Speaker 1: relaxed than mellow when I've had a few drinks. But
- 54:50Speaker 1: she is the opposite of me. She likes to get angry,
- 54:54Speaker 1: cuss and fuss, and bring up a bunch of old
- 54:57Speaker 1: stuff trying to start an argument. It really messes up
- 55:01Speaker 1: my buzz, and I'm afraid of losing my cool one
- 55:04Speaker 1: day and end up telling her to leave me to
- 55:06Speaker 1: hell alone. I've dealt with anger management all of my life,
- 55:11Speaker 1: and I've learned how to calm myself down with Bible
- 55:14Speaker 1: verses and positive affirmations I got while I was in prison.
- 55:20Speaker 1: She knows all you heard me. She knows all of this,
- 55:24Speaker 1: but she still likes to get in my face and
- 55:27Speaker 1: push me to my limit. I have to keep avoiding her.
- 55:31Speaker 1: I don't have family in town we live in, so
- 55:34Speaker 1: if things get bad, I have nowhere to turn to
- 55:38Speaker 1: for some peace. Most nights, she gets rambunctious and then
- 55:42Speaker 1: wants to make love so I'll forget how bad she
- 55:45Speaker 1: has been acting. I swear that it always works because
- 55:48Speaker 1: she is really good in bed. I have told her
- 55:52Speaker 1: that she has a problem with drinking, not a drinking problem,
- 55:56Speaker 1: and we need to figure out a way for her
- 55:57Speaker 1: to drink socially without losing her for every time. I'm
- 56:01Speaker 1: a laid back type of brother and need to know
- 56:03Speaker 1: if I should keep encouraging her to do better or
- 56:07Speaker 1: should I reconsider marrying her. I trust your advice because
- 56:10Speaker 1: this is a major decision. Yeah, you have to consider
- 56:15Speaker 1: this if you're thinking about marrying someone. And this letter
- 56:20Speaker 1: got deeper. Seems like every sentence there was something new
- 56:23Speaker 1: to learn about you too. I think the two of
- 56:26Speaker 1: you need to put the alcohol down, or you at
- 56:31Speaker 1: least need to keep it to a two drink minimum
- 56:34Speaker 1: or something like that like they do with the clubs
- 56:36Speaker 1: and listen. I just you know this hard liquor that
- 56:39Speaker 1: you guys are doing, this wine, it's just not for you, guys.
- 56:44Speaker 1: I mean, I think you need to step away from
- 56:46Speaker 1: all this Tennessee and stuff that you guys drink drinking
- 56:50Speaker 1: every every single day after work. I think that's too
- 56:53Speaker 1: much for you, guys, I really do, because you don't
- 56:56Speaker 1: know how to handle your liquor. You say your chill
- 56:59Speaker 1: and cool and everything, and she's the exact opposite. And
- 57:04Speaker 1: of course, no one likes an ugly, nasty, mean acting drunk.
- 57:09Speaker 1: Nobody likes a mean drunk. The bad part is that
- 57:12Speaker 1: you say she's great in bed and she's trying to
- 57:14Speaker 1: make up for her bad behavior. You think so. Do
- 57:17Speaker 1: you really think that she knows what she's doing and
- 57:19Speaker 1: she's just trying to take advantage of this situation. If
- 57:22Speaker 1: that's true, I think that's part of the problem, because
- 57:25Speaker 1: she knows what she's doing, and she knows she's just
- 57:27Speaker 1: trying to push your buttons. She definitely needs to stay
- 57:31Speaker 1: away from the alcohol for a while. Uh, you guys,
- 57:36Speaker 1: You guys need to get a hold on your relationship.
- 57:39Speaker 1: I don't think you need to consider marriage right now.
- 57:41Speaker 1: You're not in that space. You're not ready for all
- 57:44Speaker 1: of that that comes with a whole You really will
- 57:46Speaker 1: be drinking if you if you marry her now. You
- 57:49Speaker 1: need to get your relationship back on track. You need
- 57:51Speaker 1: to talk to her. You need to stop some of
- 57:53Speaker 1: all this drinking because you know the two of you
- 57:56Speaker 1: together can't handle it. That's not gonna last. Your relationship
- 58:01Speaker 1: will not last like this in a marriage, certainly won't.
- 58:04Speaker 1: So yeah, reconsider marrying her and put the drinks down, Steve,
- 58:09Speaker 1: It's so much I want to say in this damn matter.
- 58:17Speaker 1: Who So let me just try to go a line
- 58:19Speaker 1: at a time. But we all know what her own.
- 58:24Speaker 1: I'm a forty five ye old black man. You fee
- 58:27Speaker 1: y'all say, fifty six, Great girl, I'm worried about marriage. Well,
- 58:32Speaker 1: let me tell you something, sir, after listening to this Nana.
- 58:36Speaker 1: Marriage ain't what y'all need to be worried about. It's
- 58:39Speaker 1: a whole lot of other things wrong. Who we go
- 58:41Speaker 1: down the eye right. We like to kick back and
- 58:46Speaker 1: relax and drink wine and alcohol. I don't know if
- 58:50Speaker 1: y'all notice it, but that's everything. That's everything. Ain't nothing
- 58:58Speaker 1: off limits. If we like to drink wine and alcohol,
- 59:05Speaker 1: everything is up. If you ain't got none of that,
- 59:11Speaker 1: give us some of this one more time, Like you
- 59:15Speaker 1: ain't got none of that, give us some of this.
- 59:20Speaker 1: We're gonna drank it. Fifty six I'm forty five, drink drunk,
- 59:27Speaker 1: drink and drink and drank it. It depends on our mood,
- 59:32Speaker 1: which now watch this, So sometimes it's wine and sometimes
- 59:37Speaker 1: it's the hard stuffs. Now guess when they moved? Is
- 59:42Speaker 1: we pretty much drink every day? This is a letter
- 59:48Speaker 1: brought a couple of alcoholics. What this is? Let's stop
- 59:51Speaker 1: all this. Y'all are functioning alcoholics every day? You gonna
- 59:57Speaker 1: work and drink every day? That's functioning alcoholic. I'm a
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: relaxing mellow when I'd have had a few drinks. But
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: she the opposite. She gets angry, cuss, fuss, ult response
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: till we come back at twenty three minutes after be okay, naw,
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: we'll have part two subject I can't even get drunk
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: in na back at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: Stry Morning show. All right, Steve, come on, let's recap
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter. I can't even drink. I can't even
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: get drunk in peace, live folks, Here we go. This
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: is a lot of We've determined on the last break

- 1:02:01Speaker 1: every day after work, so they functioning alcoholics. I'm more relaxing, mellow.
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: Just the forty five year old black man who wrote
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: the letter, and he's a fiances a fifty six year
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: old great woman. She likes to get angry and cussing,
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: fussing and bring up a bunch of old stuff trying
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: to start the argument. Now, this is every day. This
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: ain't on the weekends after work when I punch out
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: at five and I get your house and we started
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: drinking and sick are you talking? Like? Ain't o'clock? I
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: don't thing to tell you as something? That's her black
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: ass make me sick? Baby, Come on now, chill, I'm
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: trying to be drunk in peace that you have nothing.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: But if I do let you have, it's gonna be
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: so good you're gonna want it again. Just angry, and
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: it really messed my blood. I'm afraid of losing my
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: cool one day and end up telling her to leave
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: me to hell alone. That's all you're gonna say. That's
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: because that's how you're so chill. I kill you girl,
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: leave me to hell alone. Oh? I told her to
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: lead me to hell alone? What the wealth and happen now?
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: So then he said, I've dealt with anger management all
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: of my life, meaning he used to fly off. But
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: let me tell you how he fixed it. I learned
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: how to calm myself down with Bible verses and positive
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: affirmation I got while I was in prison. But as
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: soon as I got out of prison, I started drinking
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: and met her and we drank every day. That's the
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: Bible versus I'll be pulling up because I'll be drinking
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: every day, reading the versus in the Bible, and then
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: I be positive affirmations because of the drinking. What what?
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: She knows all of this, but she still likes to
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: get in my face and push me to my limit.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: I have to keep avoiding her. I have to keep
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: avoiding her because I don't have family in town. Now
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: that when you got out prison, ain't nobody You ain't
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: coming over here. You never stolen last Monday out mama

- 1:04:57Speaker 1: to turn for some peace. So most nights she gets
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: rambunctious and then wants to make love. That's angry love right,
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: angry sick. She's looking over here for him. You know
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: you want this here? You won't it? Quit looking at it?
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: Won't it come on over here? Bite me your black
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: ass here looking at it? Tan up, Tan up for
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: I for you. She make love so good I forget
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: how bad she been A that's because I do it
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: out of you. And next thing, you know, you ain't
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: even mad at me no more, just over here called
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: I'm just full of hatred. You ain't got no good
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: love until you didn't have some hate for love boy.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: I'll put this hate for hate. What it sounds like
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: feel I feel like a crab, a giant crab, claw angry, look,

- 1:07:18Speaker 1: we real over here, you know, what I'm saying, And
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: we can be hurt and frustrated and still will get
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: a laugh because we are not gonna let the devil
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: beat us down. You know, the black man bird watching?
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: First of all, this negro is birdwatching in Central Park,
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: the only one I know. Okay, okay, I know a
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: lot of black people that this is a hard one
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: of them watching her hard bird watching brother in the park.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: White lady feels like she fear for her life, you know,
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: the only life you feel for the dog you was
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: choking with the leash that he told was he did?
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: He wasn't even on the leash because he was choking
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: around the neck with the collar. Yeah, yes, and see
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: to me, listen, it's a list of them. What is
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: the parking lot? Patter, barbecue better? What the what the Yeah?
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: It's huh. I said, I don't talk. I need white folks.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: I need y'all to have a meeting. I need y'all
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: to get your white folking check. You know what I'm saying,
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: because this is this don't make no damn sense. And
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: then the brothers say, you know, I just want people
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: to recognize racism. I don't want her to get death
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: threats you know, but you could have died. Okay, Shirley
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: Scrawberries keeping real els your boss, maliks Oh, I was
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: gonna let it later, caller because I work at CBS,
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: right right, But you know, to what Shirley said shows
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: the compassion that black people have because black people knows
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: what it feels like to be canceled. Canceled. Yes, everything
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: done to you for the simplest of things. Yes, I
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: got some fightre it ain't it ain't over. It ain't over.
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: Everybody that loves Tiger King need to apologize to Michael
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: Vick right now. Okay, y'all didn't want to go there
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: without all the stuff being done to the animals from
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: the Tiger King, but you want to get him out
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: of jail. Ain't nobody apologize to Michael Vick. See, this
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: is the problem we had. I'm gonna have to come back,
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: Do I get Can I come back? Because of the
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: things we were talking about being black in America, racism, disenfrantisement,
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: treat it differently than other people. But I'm gonna need
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: everybody that's watching Time King and blovies being made apologize
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: Michael Vick right now. What somebody go to break I'll
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: come back, go to break. We'll have Mormon Cheryl coming
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: up right after this. You're listening bed all right. You
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: hear her voice in the background. This is Cheryl Underwood. Yes,
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: we hold her over because she had a lot to
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: say this morning. Go ahead, Cheryl. Well, I have more
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: things on my mind now listen. We got an election
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: that we got to win. Am I right? Steve Harvey?
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: We got one, Okay, And there's a reason why I'm
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: gonna get to the tragedy that's really bothering us right now.
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: But we got an election where we need to win.
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: I need people to stop doing these drive bys on
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: radio shows and getting their face crack. Now, Henry Clinton
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: got on radio show talking why she got hot house
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: in the purse lose election. Stupid lisbe War want to
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: talk about ending in her family when all black people
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: know we got ending in our family because my hair
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: is waving its natural wave. New vote. Okay. Now you
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: got Joe Biden talking about if you don't know the
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: difference between me and Donald Trump, you ain't black. Okay.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: I just wanted you to know. I don't think who
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: the fuck you're talking to, but I'm trying. I'm trying
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: to ride with Biden. And you know that's the kind
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: of that's when you hear words like that that makes
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: you go what you know? But here's my problem with this.
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: You gotta suck it into it. Don't get so relaxed
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: with us that you're trying to be hit. Be what
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: we want to elect. Am I right, brothers and sisters,
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: You're right, You're right. Don't try to be something we
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: don't want to hear that. Don't try to talk into colloquialism.
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: Don't try to relate to us in something that sounds unnatural.
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: When you try to sound young and hip, you sound
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: old and stupid. Now, when this is an election we
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: need to win, am I, am I right? Brothers right,
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: we got we got the win. This is not a game.
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: This is not a game. You know why because now
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: I'm gonna bringing home for you A black man was
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: murdered and hate crime knee in the neck, not some
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: anybody should be doing. And nobody wants to talk about
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: white supremacy in law enforcement where we're no longer protecting
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: and serving. But anybody you deal with of color is
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: the enemy to be killed. And my right, brothers and sisters,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: and That is why we've got to win this election.
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: I don't care how many times people say the FBI
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: gonna investigate, Department of Justice gonna investigate. That's the start,
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: That ain't the end. And if we don't have it
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: at the top. See, the President is out here feeding
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: into that rhetoric. That's why these people feel that they
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: can do what they do, because they're gonna get away
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: with it. And this is why the election is important.
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: You can't just register to vote. You got to vote
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: up and down ballot. You got shout out to the mayor,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: the the white boy, that's a man. He did. That's right.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: But it goes beyond that. It's the Congress, it's the
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: Senate's district attorneys. It goes beyond that. Why because we
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: want justice not just for George, we want justice for Brianna.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: We want justice for a mob. We want justice for
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: people we don't even know anything about. We want them
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: to stop fabricating reports. They said the boys in drugs
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: and he doing all the past and dirty money? What that?
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: What do that have to do with the fact that
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: somebody put their knee on this brother neat for at
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: least nine minutes. And here's a man calling for his mama.
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: God wrest her soul. Mother been dead for two years,
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: but that's when this boy knew his life was over.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: We're not standing for this one. We want justice. We
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: either want it in the court system or we're gonna
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: take it to the street. Now. I'm not telling nobody
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: to be violent. What I'm saying is this is not
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: a game. So autumn, little jokes, stop it. Don't come
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: on black radio trying to get to know us. Come
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: on black radio and tell us what are you going
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: to do to lead this nation? Because it should not
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: be a death sentence to be black in America. Yeah,
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: you brought it home, and you brought home. That's that's
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: why I want y'all to know. You got to remember
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: why emmetale picture up the open casket was in Jet
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: magazine because his mother wanted the world to see what
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: they have done to Hussan. That's right. Thank you, Sharylan.
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Charlie thirteen X. We appreciate you as always. Girl,
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: Get out there, coming out, more music, more trending topics.
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: Send some headlines at twenty minutes after the hour, right
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: after this, you're listening in spite of what We told
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: you guys earlier this week about the former mayor of Detroit,
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: Kwame Kilpatrick, being released from prison because of COVID nineteen.
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: Well he has been denied early release. The kidding reverse that, yeah,
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: shut that down. The Parole board shut it down. The
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: Bureau of Prisons they reviewed his request for home confinement,
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: confinement and it was denied. So he will remain at
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: Oakdale Federal Prison in Louisiana. First time I heard it
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: in the Bureau of FED. I don't know a lot about. So, yeah,
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: that in the government, I don't. I don't. And it's
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: the Federal Bureau of Prisons by the way. Yeah, okay, yeah,
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: So he's gonna have to live out his time in prison.
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: His sentence, Well, it may come back up again him
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: he can get out. Yeah, oh I wish he would.
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: I thought that was gonna be good news because he
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: didn't deserve twenty eight years for that. He really didn't.
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: The white police officer got ten years killing black dude,
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: Kwamee stole some money, got twenty eight years. Come on
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: back a double standard. We know that kill a black
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: man get ten take black man takes money twenty eight
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: Come on, now we're talking murder, man and stealing murder,
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: taking a life and taking money. Yeah, okay, all right,
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: we'll have more ready to rewrite these laws. That's what
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: the hell a wrong all these laws is we need
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: to vote. Yeah, we definitely need to vote. Marv the
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: Seve Harvey Morning Show and some trending news coming up

- 1:16:43Speaker 1: now and social media calling he might shut it down,
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: he's saying, because they're fact checking him on the things
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: that he tweets. Okay, okay, you know he can't, but
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: you know what shut it down? Dude? What you gonna
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: do right then? Because you're the only one using it? Yeah,
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: ain't nobody using it more than you. I ain't tight
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: nothing on it. I say, go ahead and shut it down.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: And then what you gonna do because because they're fact
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: checking you, which means they're just going over some stuff
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: you're saying that's not true. They're not trying to quiet
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: conservative voices. They're trying to quiet down some of these lies. Yeah. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: it's too many. It's too many. You got to lie
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: about it, every damn thing it's the biggest lie, the
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: most outrageous lie. You've told Steve Who not the who who?
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: But you're not the president, so it's okay, who who?
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: Just give me your age and an instance. I got
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: some last one of my lies still going. I can't
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: tell that one's going in, not that you're live in
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: your life thirty two thirty two. Careful, careful, get your
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: thoughts gathering. I told the man that fixed my car
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: because I was homeless, four hundred and twelve dollars if
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: you fix this car, I'm coming right back with the money. Homeless. Hell,

- 1:18:25Speaker 1: I drove off. He fixed a car in Kentucky. I
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: drove the floor. I can't come back. He believed you, though, right,
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: I can't come back. Always hit it. He always headed
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: across the world. You got to go south. Causes warm
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: and you can't stay up in Kentucky. Get cold, Tennessee,
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: it get cold sometimes I had to go south. All right,
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: we're good. So did he chase after you or you know?
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: I told her, I told her I'm coming right back.
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: Oh he gave you the car? Oh yeah, he gave me.
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: I felt bad about it, you know, but that's one
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: of the big lives. To give me another incident, sho,
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: I gotta give him another age. All right, Let's see,
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: that was thirty two. Getting in twenties, it's gonna say,
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: how about twenty six, twenty, that's a good age. Six
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: I took. I took the Military interest exam. Okay, I
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: was about twenty seven, nobles and you can still go
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: to the army at twenty seven. I scored really high
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: on the test. To ask me what I wanted to do,
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: I told I wanted to be in medical field. I
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: went home and told my brother, Hey, man, I'm enlisting
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: in the army. I ain't got nothing going for me.
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: I gotta make some money. I got these two kids.
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: He said, what you're gonna do? I said, I'm joining
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: the army. He said, your black heads can't get in
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: the army though. All right, coming up, it's our last
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: break of the day, last break out of the day,
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: and boy what a day. And we'll have some closing

- 1:20:09Speaker 1: What a day? What a day? What a day? Ain't Yeah.
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: For my closing remarks, I want to play this video
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: this young man that I saw uh and a reporter
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: had stopped him UH to interview him about the protests,
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: and this is what his response was in Minneapolis. What's
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: it gonna take for you guys to be okay tonight
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: and to stop this chaos? It ain't me, It's not me.
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: I'm gonna let all know that. No, it's not us,
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: guys neither. And I'm glad that's all I said that.
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: It's not us, it's the police. This is the madness
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: that they sparked up. This is what they encourage, this
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: is what they provoked. This is what you get. How
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: do you take it from a log from someone? This
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: is what you get. You get a lot of people
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: that's hurt and they can't be the right way. They
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: can't no longer depend on the police de beer to
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: protect us like they say they do. So this is
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: what you get. And no, it's not gonna into I
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: can't tell you. I don't know what it's gonna in,
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: but it's when y'all to start. We're not the ones
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: that's killing us. Y'all killing us. We can't make a
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: change if y'all don't kange. Wow. This this was so
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: impactful because this was a young man talking from his heart,
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: being interviewed in night doing a protest in Minneapolis by
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: reporter and a young man said, I'm glad you said that,
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: because it ain't us, it's y'all. See, here's a young
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: man who, in his lifetime, because of social media, has
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: seen this from a very early age. It was like
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: one time at my camp. I had my ranch in Dallas,
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: and we thought it was a good idea to have
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: the little Elm police department come and talk to the
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: boys about safety and everything. Well it backfired because them
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: young men all they wanted to know when the police
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: officers came, were talking about safety and all this here
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: them young men man just wanted to know why why
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: y'all kill us? And the police officers were caught so
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: off God because they came there to talk about safety
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: and stuff. And the guy that was in charge of
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: police officer, mister Harvey, we're not equipped for this conversation.
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: I said, Well I think you should be, I said,
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: because well we're here to talk about this. I think
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: you should get the young men to get off of
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: this so we can get Nah, I'm not gonna do
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: that because I understood because as angry as this young
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: man is and as right as he is, it is
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: because social media has exposed this ugly form of racism
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: to him. Since he was a very very young child
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: and could pick up a phone, He's had a cell
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: phone his whole life. I didn't get a cell phone
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: until I was damn near thirty. I didn't even know
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: that there was no face time and there was no nothing.
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: But at sixty three, I feel exactly the way he feels.
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: All of us I know seventy year olds that feel
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: the exact same way that young man feels because you
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: know what, that's been going on far too long. But
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: we thought we were we were miss miss miss miss
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: led to believe that if we just showed it to you,
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: if we just let you see it in social media,
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: you would see what we had been knowing all this time,
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: and you would be mortified. You would be outraged at
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: what you saw. Guess what you're not. You're not outraged
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: at what you see. You're not mortified. You ain't coming
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: to our rescue like we just knew you would if
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: you would only see what they're doing to us. When
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: you see the tape. Just like we see the tape,
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: we see a conviction, we see a crime in progress.
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: So now that we got it on tape, the jury,
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: the grand jury gonna see the same thing. And they don't.
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: Too many times they don't. Not to date, Attorney Crump
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: showed us some examples that he had won some cases.
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: And that's beautiful, man, I really I applaud his brother,
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: one of the top civil rights attorneys of our time today,
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: But we're losing too many. And then I got news
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: for you. Too many cases don't ever even become a case.
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: So it ain't no case to win or to lose.
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: Sometimes it just ain't no charges bought. So what about that?
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: It's way more them than the victories. So what the
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: young man is saying, this ain't gonna change to y'all change,
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: And you know what, he's absolutely correct. And that's why
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: I'm making it my mission starting today to find the
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: best way to get just a few white folks, just
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: a few to stand up with us and say, you
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: know what, I as a Christian, I as a Muslim,
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: I am as a person of faith, I as a
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: person of the human race who can say for a
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: fact this ain't right. I need some of y'all to
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: stand up with us, because y'all watching it now you
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: might not care. I might be wrong about this, but
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: I don't think I am. But I don't think that
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: you can sit there a lot of them that I
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: know and think this is wrong and not want to
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: do something about it. So what I've decided to do,
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: as Steve Harvey, is invite you to stand with us.
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: It's not threatening, this is not saying this is what
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: you should do. I'm inviting just a few good white
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: folks to stand with us against these hate crimes of
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: these innocent men losing their lives because a police officer
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: is undertrained and racist and has a view towards black
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: people that's unhealthy in the society that we live in today.
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: This is really what Colin Kaepernick was kneeling for, but
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: they flipped the script on him. Hard to flip the
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: script when it's on video, though, ain't it so, I
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: would think. So I'm gonna start today. I'm just looking
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: for a few good will non African American slash white
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: people to stand with us and stand up against these injustices.
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: Those are closing remarks, y'all have a great week. For
