- 2:06Speaker 1: on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:09Speaker 1: a radio show today? Is it? Everybody? Okay? On a
- 2:13Speaker 1: real positive note? Today? Is it? Today? Is the day?
- 2:19Speaker 1: You know, when I was in high school, you know,
- 2:22Speaker 1: my mother's Sunday school teaching until she passed. I would
- 2:26Speaker 1: walk out the door every morning on my way to school,
- 2:30Speaker 1: and my mother used to say, listen to me something, hey,
- 2:33Speaker 1: don't forget. Today is the day that the Lord has made.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Let us rejoice and be glad in it. And you know,
- 2:39Speaker 1: I don't think much of it. You know, it's just
- 2:40Speaker 1: my mama being religious. You know, my spiritual woman. So
- 2:44Speaker 1: you know, I just took it as that. But as
- 2:46Speaker 1: I've gotten older, man, you know, that's registered more and
- 2:49Speaker 1: more with me. You know, today is the day that
- 2:52Speaker 1: the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad
- 2:55Speaker 1: in it. That's pretty cool, man, I mean, what better
- 2:59Speaker 1: blessing will you get throughout the day than the fact
- 3:04Speaker 1: that he allows you to live and see another day?
- 3:06Speaker 1: See sometimes, Man, when you're young, you don't pay no
- 3:10Speaker 1: attention to that. But all you got to do is
- 3:12Speaker 1: keep living, keep watching some people that you know not
- 3:17Speaker 1: be here anymore. Go to class reunions and they're smaller.
- 3:24Speaker 1: See people that you really loved. It meant a lot
- 3:26Speaker 1: till you leave this world, and all of a sudden, man,
- 3:31Speaker 1: immortality starts to matter a great deal to you. Some
- 3:36Speaker 1: of us learned this lesson sooner than others. But I know,
- 3:39Speaker 1: when you're young, man, you know, you think you're gonna
- 3:41Speaker 1: be here for a while. You think you've got time
- 3:43Speaker 1: to play around. You think you've got time to get
- 3:45Speaker 1: it together, you've got time to make the mistakes, and
- 3:48Speaker 1: you got time to chill. But man, oh man, almost
- 3:51Speaker 1: every full blown adult that I know will tell you
- 3:55Speaker 1: and have said these words right here many times. And
- 3:58Speaker 1: I went to the reason I'm saying this because I'm
- 4:00Speaker 1: want you to hear him, because you're gonna use them. Man,
- 4:04Speaker 1: if I only knew then what I know now. Do
- 4:07Speaker 1: you know how many people have said those words right there?
- 4:12Speaker 1: Because in time, man, you gained so much wisdom. Oh
- 4:15Speaker 1: but it ain't like nobody didn't tell you though. See
- 4:19Speaker 1: that's the hooker. Somebody told you back then. Hey man,
- 4:22Speaker 1: it's best to buckle down now, he said, Hey man,
- 4:25Speaker 1: you better quit wasting time. Hey man, don't stop taking
- 4:28Speaker 1: your foot off the gas pedal. Hey look, do your
- 4:31Speaker 1: best at all the times. You know, stop stop worrying
- 4:34Speaker 1: about that. I'm telling your son. In a minute, them
- 4:36Speaker 1: clubs ain't gonna mean nothing to you. In a minute,
- 4:39Speaker 1: they're going out all the time. Ain't gonna mean nothing
- 4:41Speaker 1: to you. I can't tell you how many times I
- 4:44Speaker 1: heard all of it. I can't tell it to you.
- 4:46Speaker 1: I can't tell you how many times I repeat it
- 4:48Speaker 1: to my kids. But man, today is a different day,
- 4:54Speaker 1: because today is the day that the Lord has made.
- 4:56Speaker 1: So he gave you a shot today. If you if
- 4:59Speaker 1: you woke up this on it, or if you're finishing
- 5:01Speaker 1: your day on your shift. He gave you a new day,
- 5:05Speaker 1: nothing bigger than the fact that he woke you up today. Now,
- 5:10Speaker 1: why don't you do something about that? Why don't you
- 5:12Speaker 1: take advantage of it? How about today? How about if
- 5:15Speaker 1: you start today? How About if you stop hesitating today?
- 5:18Speaker 1: How about if you stop delaying it today? How about
- 5:21Speaker 1: if you stop procrastinating today. How About if you make
- 5:24Speaker 1: today to day that you go forward? I mean, man,
- 5:26Speaker 1: let's all just decide today, let's go forward. Let's put
- 5:30Speaker 1: forth a maximum effort today. How about today? I mean, really, man,
- 5:35Speaker 1: what you're doing? You look, man, take advantage of this
- 5:38Speaker 1: blessing of waking up. Do something today. So many people
- 5:44Speaker 1: are in the indulge rooms of life, or living in
- 5:47Speaker 1: a rut, or just merely existing instead of thriving simply
- 5:52Speaker 1: because of one one thing. You just won't do it today.
- 5:57Speaker 1: If you would just start the process, man, Start that
- 6:00Speaker 1: business you always dreamed of. Go looking to that other
- 6:03Speaker 1: job you always yearn for. Go get the training you
- 6:06Speaker 1: need to get the promotion. Man going back to school. Man,
- 6:10Speaker 1: go see what you need to do to lift yourself
- 6:12Speaker 1: to the next level. Stop waking up every day seeing high,
- 6:16Speaker 1: it's gonna go and start waking up and do something
- 6:19Speaker 1: about how it goes. If you make one step, he'll
- 6:22Speaker 1: make too. But you could people people talk about all
- 6:24Speaker 1: the time. Man, it seems like you're always getting a blessing.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Oh man, when you're talking to a person, listen to this.
- 6:30Speaker 1: If you're talking to a person and it seems like
- 6:33Speaker 1: there's always a blessing coming his way, let me tell
- 6:36Speaker 1: you what that person doing. That person is putting one
- 6:38Speaker 1: foot in front of the next. That person is putting
- 6:41Speaker 1: forth some efforts out there. And that's the only way
- 6:45Speaker 1: God can bless you. God can only bless you with
- 6:47Speaker 1: your efforts. He can only put his finger on the
- 6:51Speaker 1: thing that you are doing or attempting. That's all he
- 6:56Speaker 1: can help you with. He that are no jobs walking
- 6:59Speaker 1: up to your door, knocking on your door. But if
- 7:02Speaker 1: you're beating the payment, if you're sending in the apps,
- 7:04Speaker 1: if you online scouring somewhere to work, somewhere to get
- 7:07Speaker 1: a job, then God can touch somebody's hard to hire you.
- 7:10Speaker 1: But if you're sitting at the house every day, smoke everyday, drinking,
- 7:15Speaker 1: but you wonder why you just can't get a job.
- 7:18Speaker 1: A couple of times you don't want out there. You
- 7:19Speaker 1: got to. If you ain't got a job, you gotta look,
- 7:21Speaker 1: get go, get one. Every day. You got to go
- 7:24Speaker 1: look for one every single day. You can't take no
- 7:26Speaker 1: days off. How about today? How about today? If we
- 7:30Speaker 1: decide today is the day that we're gonna make the move.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Today is the day that we stopped delaying, hesitating, procrastinating.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Today is the day that we take a step in
- 7:39Speaker 1: the direction to do something for ourselves, for our lives,
- 7:43Speaker 1: for our family, for our wives, for our children, for
- 7:46Speaker 1: our community, for our school. Do something today, for crying
- 7:50Speaker 1: out loud, man, stop sitting in your own life in
- 7:54Speaker 1: just a stew of misery in your own life. I'm
- 7:58Speaker 1: gonna tell you something. If you are in a state
- 8:00Speaker 1: of confusion, if you are troubling, if you're stuck on
- 8:04Speaker 1: what to do next, you let me tell you what's happening.
- 8:07Speaker 1: You're not doing enough. That's what it is. Man. See
- 8:11Speaker 1: what I get in a place man where I don't
- 8:14Speaker 1: know what the next move is. It's because I unusually
- 8:18Speaker 1: stalled out. See, this is the way God works. This
- 8:21Speaker 1: is the way He's worked for me. Every time I'm
- 8:24Speaker 1: busy and I'm about the business of always trying to
- 8:28Speaker 1: live my creed, which is ABC. My My motto is
- 8:31Speaker 1: ABC always be closing. I'm always working on something, something
- 8:36Speaker 1: to close something. When you're so busy with the business
- 8:40Speaker 1: of improving yourself and doing with yourself and becoming the
- 8:44Speaker 1: best you you can be, God is always working on
- 8:48Speaker 1: your behalf behind some scene or something that you're in
- 8:52Speaker 1: the process of tempting to close. But because you're not
- 8:57Speaker 1: doing all you can do, you're limiting you you are
- 9:01Speaker 1: because of your decision not to give you all in all,
- 9:03Speaker 1: you're limiting the opportunities for God to put his finger
- 9:07Speaker 1: on things and touch them on your behind. I don't
- 9:11Speaker 1: know if the average person really understands or knows what
- 9:16Speaker 1: it takes to truly be successful or whatever level you're
- 9:20Speaker 1: talking about. But whatever that level is, I don't care
- 9:23Speaker 1: what a dollar amount you've got attached to it, what
- 9:25Speaker 1: level you got, if you have made the decision that
- 9:28Speaker 1: you're going to be successful, I think that a lot
- 9:31Speaker 1: of people, the average person does not know what that means.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Whatever level you've decided to be successful on, See, that's
- 9:39Speaker 1: your level of faith, that's where you see your life at. Well,
- 9:42Speaker 1: guess what you got to maximize your efforts to even
- 9:46Speaker 1: get to that level. So listen to me. If you
- 9:50Speaker 1: want to be successful at your church, if you want
- 9:53Speaker 1: to be successful in your relationship, if you want to
- 9:55Speaker 1: be successful down at the day cancer, if you want
- 9:58Speaker 1: to be successful at your college, if you want to
- 10:00Speaker 1: be successful on your job, guess what it's gonna take
- 10:04Speaker 1: all you got in that world to become a success.
- 10:09Speaker 1: I don't know why people think that. If you don't
- 10:12Speaker 1: want to be where somebody else said, you ain't gotta
- 10:14Speaker 1: put forth that effort. Now, no act wrong. You've got
- 10:18Speaker 1: to put forth your maximum effort at whatever role you're
- 10:21Speaker 1: trying to accomplish. Lord have mercy. Man. How about today, though, y'all?
- 10:26Speaker 1: How about today? Today is a good one. Let's make
- 10:29Speaker 1: today today. Let's get out of that. Let's get on
- 10:32Speaker 1: with it. Stop hesitating, stop delaying, stop procrastinate, start today.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Watch God have something to put his finger on there.
- 10:41Speaker 1: And that's all you're trying to do. Man, to line
- 10:44Speaker 1: yourself up with God's grace, you gotta put out a
- 10:46Speaker 1: lot of effort so God can put his finger on something.
- 10:50Speaker 1: You feel me today, I shall hope you do, because
- 10:52Speaker 1: I'm on one today. Let's go to ladies and gentlemen.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Boys and girls may have your attention. Peace. You are

- 15:57Speaker 1: you didn't even let me get it out, Tommy. Anything
- 16:00Speaker 1: at the word trust? Yeah, all right. Treat him as
- 16:06Speaker 1: an equal. Okay. So he's your partner, he's your husband,
- 16:10Speaker 1: he's your man. You know, he's your boo whatever. So
- 16:13Speaker 1: don't treat him like a tread And now I ain't

- 17:10Speaker 1: bad relationship that they'd be sleep on your arm in
- 17:14Speaker 1: the morning, and you have a decision to make. Do
- 17:18Speaker 1: I run the risk of pulling my arm out and
- 17:21Speaker 1: waking her up? Or do I just chew it off something? Man?
- 17:32Speaker 1: I damn near I damn that had got it off.
- 17:35Speaker 1: But I started crying because I had been been into
- 17:39Speaker 1: my show. That blood was everywhere. She woke up with
- 17:42Speaker 1: blood all around in my mouth and what are you doing?
- 17:46Speaker 1: Trying to chew so this wouldn't happen, But she heard
- 17:51Speaker 1: me whimpering, how Steve, Why are you crack? Why are
- 18:06Speaker 1: that blood on your head? Trying to eat which obviously

- 18:27Speaker 1: to the hospital and get these eighty five stitches put
- 18:31Speaker 1: in my shoulder I had. I had most of the
- 18:37Speaker 1: meat in my mouth, so they was able to pack
- 18:39Speaker 1: it back on and restructure my shoulder. Ahead, all right,
- 18:43Speaker 1: you know, like compliment with him when he does something, well,
- 18:47Speaker 1: that's a good way to get him to open up,
- 18:49Speaker 1: like yeah, like, you know, compliment of the things he does. Well,
- 18:53Speaker 1: you know, in case he's self conscious or something. You know,
- 18:55Speaker 1: oh honey, I like the way you did this, or

- 19:41Speaker 1: You gotta pick the right time, Okay. Don't start asking
- 19:44Speaker 1: him about his feelings when he's rushed or when he's
- 19:47Speaker 1: distracted or watching the game and stuff like that. You
- 19:50Speaker 1: gotta ease into it. Ladies, right here, So you're just
- 19:54Speaker 1: gonna sit there and ain't gonna talk to me. I'm
- 19:57Speaker 1: watching the damn game. Oh the game is more and
- 20:00Speaker 1: and yes, yes, before you go to work, we need
- 20:07Speaker 1: to talk. Yeah, this game is pretty big. They're only
- 20:10Speaker 1: gonna play this's a year. Did you actually say those words?
- 20:19Speaker 1: But you're getting saved. Here's another one. Watch your approach,
- 20:23Speaker 1: how you approach it. Don't just push it down his throat,
- 20:26Speaker 1: you know, yeah, be gentle, be non judgmental. You know,
- 20:30Speaker 1: you want him to open up. You don't want him
- 20:31Speaker 1: to run away from the conversation because you show it.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Don't want to put that down your throat. Yeah, yeah,
- 20:37Speaker 1: you don't want to. Don't put you down. Out and
- 20:42Speaker 1: watch your body language, ladies. We're just moving on. We're

- 20:50Speaker 1: keep yourself cool, keep your you know, don't forget you're
- 20:53Speaker 1: trying to make him feel safe and not judged. Okay,
- 20:56Speaker 1: so you know, be cool about it. I'll be sexy
- 20:59Speaker 1: with it. Yeah mm hmm, okay, I'm learning. I'm sure
- 21:04Speaker 1: you got that one. See you cool with that one.

- 29:00Speaker 1: you know how long he's been saying, Man, ro Man,
- 29:05Speaker 1: Hey man, Robert. I got one more thing there, she man?
- 29:07Speaker 1: What is what is the baddest And I'm talking about
- 29:10Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the land, Steve Hargan Morning
- 29:14Speaker 1: Show player. Man, I listen to y'all every morning, man,
- 29:16Speaker 1: y'all every more, look here, why don't you tell Dteve man,
- 29:20Speaker 1: y'all need to put a copper cleaning the ward over
- 29:22Speaker 1: in the hoodie wards. We need cleaning the corper cleaning
- 29:27Speaker 1: in the category cap cleaning category. Man, y'all need to
- 29:29Speaker 1: go and put one in there. Do y'all have any
- 29:32Speaker 1: relatives that's in a turn? I never I never experienced that.
- 29:38Speaker 1: Did y'all have anybody that was cremated? And y'all man, now,
- 29:40Speaker 1: oh yeah, you got one. Yeah, my grandma she was
- 29:44Speaker 1: creaming what they do with who had, who gets to earn?
- 29:48Speaker 1: Who gets to keep that? They had? One of my
- 29:50Speaker 1: uncles got cremated. Yeah, I had an uncle. Yeah, he
- 29:54Speaker 1: got cremated, and he put him up on the mantel piece.
- 29:57Speaker 1: And my other uncle didn't know it and and did dumping.
- 30:04Speaker 1: And he thought that because I see he had done it,
- 30:11Speaker 1: nobody know. So when he opened it up in front
- 30:14Speaker 1: of everybody, they was mortified, and he said that way
- 30:19Speaker 1: all of them go, because he had done it before
- 30:21Speaker 1: and ain't nobody to know it because usually that's where
- 30:24Speaker 1: the urn goes on the mantel when it was up there.
- 30:28Speaker 1: Now they took ours down after that. Yes, his wife
- 30:33Speaker 1: sitting up there mortified. I thought, that's where are you going?
- 30:44Speaker 1: Coming up? I think I'm doing more Unhurricane Irma, and
- 30:48Speaker 1: President Trump agrees with the Democrats. What we'll be back
- 30:52Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:58Speaker 1: The House has passed a bill provide billions of dollars
- 31:01Speaker 1: in federal relief the survivors of Hurricane Harvey. And it's
- 31:05Speaker 1: headed to the Senate and it passed. That is great news.
- 31:09Speaker 1: As Florida, the Carolinas, and parts of coastal Georgia prepare
- 31:12Speaker 1: for Hurricane Irma, their reports of shortages of water, gas,
- 31:17Speaker 1: and other supplies throughout South Florida, Browert County and Florida
- 31:21Speaker 1: Keys are under a mandatory evacuation order. On North Carolina,
- 31:25Speaker 1: Governor Roy Cooper is declaring a state of emergency and
- 31:28Speaker 1: anticipation of Hurricane Irma. UH Cooper said the declaration will
- 31:32Speaker 1: allow officials to get resources in place to get ready
- 31:35Speaker 1: for the possibility of Irma's arrival. Um, Carla, uh, I
- 31:41Speaker 1: know you have information as far as this goes. What
- 31:43Speaker 1: do you have? What you got? Well, just you know,
- 31:46Speaker 1: remind everyone, like we said yesterday and saying the same
- 31:49Speaker 1: thing today, you have to listen to the city and
- 31:51Speaker 1: community leaders when you're county or your city or your
- 31:54Speaker 1: areas under a mandatory evacuation, you need to evacuate. The
- 32:00Speaker 1: possibility that if you don't, you choose to ride the
- 32:02Speaker 1: storm out, that rescuers and first responders may not be
- 32:05Speaker 1: able to get to you. Can make you if you
- 32:08Speaker 1: don't want to leave, can physically take you if your
- 32:11Speaker 1: area isn't a mandatory evacuation, and really encouraging you to evacuate.
- 32:17Speaker 1: You maybe if they're pretty they're pretty insistent, come out
- 32:22Speaker 1: because you could die. I mean that's how they may
- 32:25Speaker 1: not be able to get to you. No, it's really
- 32:28Speaker 1: really serious, man, And people in Florida. We got a
- 32:31Speaker 1: lot of listeners in Florida. You know, look, pay attention. Look,
- 32:35Speaker 1: I know how important your person's home is. You know,
- 32:39Speaker 1: I ain't had one for a period of time, so
- 32:41Speaker 1: I get how important your home is. And it's your
- 32:45Speaker 1: largest investment, and it's the place where you gather yourself.
- 32:49Speaker 1: But listen to me, nothing is more valuable than your
- 32:52Speaker 1: life and the safety of your family. You have got
- 32:55Speaker 1: to do the smart thing to secure your life and
- 32:59Speaker 1: the wealth of your family. That's first. Because at the
- 33:04Speaker 1: end of the day, you can get another housebuild you
- 33:08Speaker 1: can't get another love one. Let's be really smart about this.
- 33:13Speaker 1: You you can't sit there and fight the water in
- 33:15Speaker 1: the wind that that in the war you're gonna win. Yeah,
- 33:18Speaker 1: they're saying get out, to get out there, trying to
- 33:20Speaker 1: have gas brought in because you know they have fuel
- 33:23Speaker 1: shortages now because a lot of people are trying to
- 33:26Speaker 1: get out. Because the people in the Florida Keys. You know,
- 33:29Speaker 1: you gotta remember when you're down there in the Keys,
- 33:31Speaker 1: that's a hundred some miles stretch of single lane. You know,
- 33:37Speaker 1: they really have to get out. It's one in, one out.
- 33:42Speaker 1: It's tough. It's beautiful down there, and you know, it's
- 33:45Speaker 1: a great lifestyle. A lot of those people live down there. Man,
- 33:48Speaker 1: if that's what you're into. But getting out, man, you
- 33:51Speaker 1: gotta get out early because it's it stacks up and
- 33:55Speaker 1: that's the thing you man. I was really praying for
- 33:59Speaker 1: the people in Puerto Rico cause but St. Martin Guy St.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Martin's level. I was going there for my birthday this year, man. Yeah,
- 34:10Speaker 1: it's because I want the last year for my birth
- 34:13Speaker 1: This year for my birthday, the Bahamas is in line too,
- 34:16Speaker 1: so you know we're hoping everything be okay for those
- 34:19Speaker 1: people on the islands, not for our selfish purposes, but
- 34:21Speaker 1: because we want people out there to be safe. Man,
- 34:24Speaker 1: God speed, I mean God bless you. Yeah, Mother Nature. Yeah.
- 34:31Speaker 1: So that's it. That's I just wanted to stress the
- 34:34Speaker 1: evacuations because you can't wait, and they evacuate in certain
- 34:37Speaker 1: ways and certain orders, just like you said, Steve, so
- 34:40Speaker 1: everybody won't be on the highways at the same time gridlock,
- 34:44Speaker 1: and then people are caught in their cars during the storm.
- 34:46Speaker 1: So listen to what they're telling you. There's an order
- 34:49Speaker 1: to why they're saying what they're saying, and evacuating when
- 34:52Speaker 1: they are certain area. Please listen. That's it all right,
- 34:55Speaker 1: Okay again, if you want to make contributions to the
- 34:58Speaker 1: Red Cross, they're still take donations. You can text the
- 35:01Speaker 1: word Harvey. You can just make a donation to the
- 35:04Speaker 1: Red Cross. Uh it is, I said, Harvey. I'm in
- 35:07Speaker 1: irma now. Uh to nine zero the same number, nine
- 35:12Speaker 1: zero nine. You can make a ten dollar donation to
- 35:14Speaker 1: the Red Cross. These people need help, they really really do. Um.
- 35:19Speaker 1: In other news, a lot of stuff going on. Donald
- 35:23Speaker 1: Trump did something that shocked I think the world the
- 35:26Speaker 1: other day when he agreed with the Democrats. Uh, and
- 35:30Speaker 1: they're yeah, and they're built well. He used didn't he
- 35:33Speaker 1: used to be a Democrat though, if truth be told,
- 35:35Speaker 1: he used to be a Democrat once upon a time,
- 35:38Speaker 1: back back in the day. Anyway, he agreed with the
- 35:43Speaker 1: Democrats and their bill to raise the debt ceiling for
- 35:45Speaker 1: three months to avoid a government shut down. Uh. Those
- 35:48Speaker 1: Democratic leaders are Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer and House
- 35:52Speaker 1: Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi. Uh. They're calling him Don Chuck
- 35:56Speaker 1: and Nancy now, who have been the target of Trump's
- 35:59Speaker 1: attack in the past. But on Wednesday, Trump referred to
- 36:03Speaker 1: them as Chuck and Nancy and agreed with their short
- 36:06Speaker 1: term plan. Trump's decision to agree with the Democrats could
- 36:09Speaker 1: further alienate top Republicans like Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell
- 36:14Speaker 1: and how Speaker Paul Ryan. See. Sure, the Republicans didn't
- 36:17Speaker 1: want him to do that because they wanted to use
- 36:20Speaker 1: it as a bargaining chill. But that's crazy, man. So
- 36:24Speaker 1: they wanted to use that money for the hurricane relief
- 36:29Speaker 1: as a bargaining chill, and he said no. For the
- 36:32Speaker 1: first time, I think this president has done something presidential,
- 36:37Speaker 1: even if it was just to tell the Republicans, I'm
- 36:40Speaker 1: the man, you'a don't need you to tell me what
- 36:42Speaker 1: to do. I don't care what he did it. At
- 36:43Speaker 1: least he did that. I'm on man, because this is
- 36:47Speaker 1: not the time to play politics when people are in need.
- 36:50Speaker 1: That seven billion dollars, it's gonna help so many people.
- 36:53Speaker 1: And he just did it. And boy, Paul Ryan and
- 36:56Speaker 1: those boys are ticked in because Paul Ryan said before
- 37:00Speaker 1: they went in and it's not gonna be done. It's
- 37:02Speaker 1: not gonna be done that way, no way. And he
- 37:04Speaker 1: did it, and he's really upset, really, and then you
- 37:10Speaker 1: know what was crazy? Man like seeing then this one
- 37:13Speaker 1: correspondent was on that last night talking about, Yeah, the
- 37:15Speaker 1: president got duped on this one. What I mean, I'm
- 37:19Speaker 1: helping people, I mean, dog, I mean, but really, man,
- 37:22Speaker 1: if you get a chance, if the guy do something,
- 37:25Speaker 1: then let's just give him that. He's been messing up, man,
- 37:29Speaker 1: he's been blowing it. But if he does something, man, man,
- 37:31Speaker 1: he got dupe, dupe man. He's trying to help some
- 37:34Speaker 1: people find it. Yeah, yeah, alright, coming up the butterfly
- 37:38Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show, all right, Steve,
- 37:43Speaker 1: here you go, introduced Jay so Jay can introduced the
- 37:46Speaker 1: bunch of flight. Put your hand, baby, you sell it off,
- 37:54Speaker 1: Mike with that, put your hand. There we go. Probably
- 38:05Speaker 1: that's probably because you're just getting nowhere. Go ahead ahead,
- 38:12Speaker 1: watch what's gonna go today. You gotta love the good
- 38:15Speaker 1: morning First, Janthy Brown, Kier, Stephen, Tommy, I'm Shirley and Collin.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Good morning to everyone. Good morning. What's up man? Stephen?
- 38:27Speaker 1: You're gonna be so proud of me. I am becoming
- 38:32Speaker 1: I have I'm gonna be a genie. Oh, I am
- 38:39Speaker 1: so excited about it. So people are actually gonna be
- 38:41Speaker 1: able to rub me. And I'm gonna agree to three wishes.
- 38:45Speaker 1: I'm going to be a genie. I'm get here the ball,
- 38:50Speaker 1: yes I can't and if I'm all learning everything, but
- 38:53Speaker 1: rub me, Stephen, and then make three wishes. You're to
- 38:56Speaker 1: tell me, I mean my step You rub the lamp,
- 39:00Speaker 1: run the lamp, you rub the lamp. Don't nobody rub
- 39:03Speaker 1: you if you are you already out the bottle food.
- 39:08Speaker 1: You don't even know how to be a damn jamis.
- 39:13Speaker 1: You have the lamp, you don't rub the stumach. That's
- 39:16Speaker 1: a buddhis statue. You ain't you gotta you gotta move
- 39:20Speaker 1: up to lamps, I mean stomach right now, you move
- 39:22Speaker 1: out to lamp. But then don't know nothing about lamp.
- 39:24Speaker 1: Slow slow you roll, scroller, scrowler, where's this going? I
- 39:30Speaker 1: know what you're gonna do is take a lamp. We'll
- 39:34Speaker 1: keep lamp out your mouth. Scroller, you know what I'm
- 39:38Speaker 1: talking about. You don't take us go. You're taking it
- 39:40Speaker 1: too far. Why are you say? Your family? Why you you?

- 44:28Speaker 1: Did you go? You go? He yes, he's a game.
- 44:39Speaker 1: Hey man, you're gonna do good in natural disaster. I'm sorry.
- 44:45Speaker 1: Four days is what it was in that house with
- 44:48Speaker 1: that woman and couldn't go nowhere, Lord have mercy. And
- 44:52Speaker 1: she felt the same way about it, probably worse. Yeah,
- 44:57Speaker 1: she got to be thinking to myself, Man, this stupid
- 45:04Speaker 1: under the cover she did so bid put a roof
- 45:08Speaker 1: over here. That's what stupid did for her. But you know,
- 45:12Speaker 1: tis time you break provided. You're a great father, you're
- 45:15Speaker 1: a great son to your mother. Don't stop being stupid.
- 45:18Speaker 1: But I understand that I wanted to leave all of that,
- 45:22Speaker 1: all of that. I wanted to run out in the
- 45:24Speaker 1: street and jump in one of them boats and be rescued.
- 45:27Speaker 1: I did not from the water, but I wanted to
- 45:32Speaker 1: time of your house dry. You was gonna drive down
- 45:35Speaker 1: to the corner where the waterway and jump in the
- 45:38Speaker 1: water and walk to the boat and say, just getting
- 45:41Speaker 1: me away from here, all right? Coming up at the
- 45:45Speaker 1: top of the hour, right about four minutes after get
- 45:47Speaker 1: ready for today's Strawberry Letter, Frank phone call coming up next.
- 45:52Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up
- 45:56Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, right about four minutes
- 45:58Speaker 1: after get ready for today ain't Strawberry letter, But up next, nephew,
- 46:03Speaker 1: Tommy prank phone call. Come on, nephew, you ain't no signal? Uh,
- 46:09Speaker 1: you ain't no signal? Yeah, that out? That wasn't. That wasn't.
- 46:16Speaker 1: Pull that one out strong. I gained a lot of
- 46:27Speaker 1: respect for him down at your Black Enterprise tournament. Man, Yeah,
- 46:31Speaker 1: I did. It's never anyway, man, This is when you
- 46:36Speaker 1: call a brother who plays real hard and telling me
- 46:38Speaker 1: you ain't no signal. It is you at Hello. Oh,
- 46:44Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach a greg please. Yeah, this is he.
- 46:48Speaker 1: How you doing? My name is Bernard five Beta sigma
- 46:51Speaker 1: over played relationships. Uh huh giving you a call today? Man, Um,
- 46:56Speaker 1: you attended Prey of You ain't m University of my correct?
- 47:00Speaker 1: Yeah you am? I right? You attended and from my understanding,
- 47:05Speaker 1: you pledge five Beta signal and fall of ninety one.
- 47:09Speaker 1: That's correct, alright, that's the Theta chapter correct, Yes, all right,
- 47:14Speaker 1: here's where we're having some problems here, going through the records,
- 47:18Speaker 1: going through the records, actually looking at the records that
- 47:20Speaker 1: we have here headquarters, you're not actually an official member
- 47:24Speaker 1: of five Beta Sigma. I don't know what has taken place.
- 47:28Speaker 1: But wait a minute, what what do you mean not
- 47:31Speaker 1: a member? Looking at our records here at national headquarters,
- 47:33Speaker 1: it's indicating that you're not an official member of five
- 47:37Speaker 1: Beta Sigma. I don't know what could have gone wrong
- 47:40Speaker 1: with this? Now? Not that ain't right, man, That ain't right,
- 47:43Speaker 1: because see, depth of data is recognized nationally, so why
- 47:46Speaker 1: wouldn't I be nationally recognized? I'm not certain, sir. Maybe
- 47:50Speaker 1: it's something that took place on that that actual line
- 47:53Speaker 1: of Fall nine one. We're actually going to have to
- 47:55Speaker 1: do some research on everything that's going on with your
- 47:57Speaker 1: line as well as the chapter. Is that possible if
- 48:00Speaker 1: they gave if they gave me a certificate in the
- 48:02Speaker 1: in the plaque and I got my pin and I
- 48:06Speaker 1: mean I'm a Sigma. What you mean? Okay? Sir? I
- 48:09Speaker 1: don't know what I'm looking at here and and and
- 48:11Speaker 1: please understand, I want to try to clear this matter up. Yeah, yeah,
- 48:15Speaker 1: we need to do this matter. Who who else? Is
- 48:17Speaker 1: there somebody there like U oversee? Uh, maybe the head
- 48:21Speaker 1: president or your branch or something I can talk to
- 48:23Speaker 1: or something. Well, I'm actually I am actually over pledged
- 48:26Speaker 1: relations uh. And I wanted to give you a call
- 48:29Speaker 1: personally so we can try to rectify the matter. And
- 48:31Speaker 1: it's gonna take us some time to hiring this thing out.
- 48:34Speaker 1: But what I need you to do as at this point.
- 48:37Speaker 1: And you know what the problem is that I'm noticing
- 48:39Speaker 1: is that all of the people that were on your
- 48:41Speaker 1: line they are official for some reason. Mr Gregg is
- 48:45Speaker 1: an official, So I want to I don't understand that
- 48:48Speaker 1: because I was the line president. So how how is
- 48:52Speaker 1: everybody else able to be a sigma and not me
- 48:55Speaker 1: when I did all the paperwork that it takes to
- 48:59Speaker 1: before the process to be right? I don't understand, sir.
- 49:02Speaker 1: You know what, brother? Uh, I can't call you brother
- 49:04Speaker 1: for the fact that right now I'm telling me brother
- 49:07Speaker 1: because I'm a signer. So here's what we're gonna have
- 49:09Speaker 1: to do. Greg. We're gonna have to get you to
- 49:11Speaker 1: First of all, if you're dealing with anybody alumni wise,
- 49:15Speaker 1: we're asking that you don't go to any meetings right now.
- 49:17Speaker 1: We're also asking that you don't wear any five beta
- 49:21Speaker 1: sigma peral for now. At this point, we want to
- 49:24Speaker 1: make sure and get clarity that you are definitely a brother. Man. Man,
- 49:28Speaker 1: I am definitely a brother. Do you know what I
- 49:30Speaker 1: had to go through to get where I am today?
- 49:33Speaker 1: To be a sitnal all the do y'all, y'all took
- 49:36Speaker 1: y'all dudes? What happened to that? If you're taking my dudes,
- 49:39Speaker 1: you should be able to tell me. Yo, man um,
- 49:41Speaker 1: we got this going on. Certain things are going on
- 49:44Speaker 1: with your line. We need to We need to check you.
- 49:45Speaker 1: You took our money. That's the thing. I'm seeing checks
- 49:48Speaker 1: that have gone through for other people on that line.
- 49:51Speaker 1: I don't say, man, And to this day, I'm like
- 49:53Speaker 1: a lifetime member, So what the hell are you talking about?
- 49:56Speaker 1: I have no records indicating that your lifetime Remember, That's
- 49:58Speaker 1: what I'm saying. So we that dog. Somebody needs to
- 50:02Speaker 1: tell me something today. We're gonna try to get to
- 50:04Speaker 1: the end of this by the end of the week.
- 50:06Speaker 1: It's gonna take no, no, no, but no, but no,
- 50:08Speaker 1: but no, you're not understanding what I'm saying, man, because
- 50:10Speaker 1: I'm a sigma to the heart. Dude. You know what
- 50:12Speaker 1: I'm talking about. Y'all playing with my heart right now? Man,
- 50:15Speaker 1: nobody's gonna do that and get away with I don't
- 50:17Speaker 1: know what going on. You know, here's what we can do.
- 50:19Speaker 1: We can bring you back in and do another pledging process. Pledge.
- 50:24Speaker 1: Did you understand what you just said to me? No? Man,
- 50:26Speaker 1: if that ain't happen, dog, I've been through this already. Man,
- 50:29Speaker 1: I'm not pledging. I'm not signing my name on nothing
- 50:32Speaker 1: else because I have pledged, I'm not doing it. I'll
- 50:36Speaker 1: need to get somebody on the phone that can answer
- 50:37Speaker 1: my question. I want to know what's going on, okay
- 50:40Speaker 1: right now? And and I understand you know, the disbelief
- 50:42Speaker 1: of what's going on. I really do you understedt your brother? Brother,
- 50:47Speaker 1: We're gonna try to what year did you go across?
- 50:50Speaker 1: Did you walk the sand? Let me tell me what's
- 50:52Speaker 1: going on. Brother. I'm fall eighty nine, brother, And now
- 50:55Speaker 1: what we're gonna have to do right now is, first
- 50:58Speaker 1: of all, no paraphernel. You you're trying to see me
- 51:02Speaker 1: that I can't well what's nearest and dearest to my heart,
- 51:05Speaker 1: next to my wife and my child. You're telling me
- 51:07Speaker 1: that I can't go around and proclaim what I am.
- 51:10Speaker 1: That's like telling me I can't be black. What the
- 51:12Speaker 1: hell is you're saying? And another thing we're gonna to
- 51:14Speaker 1: get you to do. Understand, you have a brand, a
- 51:16Speaker 1: Sigma brand. That's how I have to come off until
- 51:19Speaker 1: we until we get this taken care of? What then
- 51:23Speaker 1: you talk about them medical procedures. What are you saying
- 51:26Speaker 1: so we cannot allow you to wear a brand representing
- 51:30Speaker 1: five beta signal when right now you are not only
- 51:32Speaker 1: you can't a lot that that brand. Me was allowed
- 51:35Speaker 1: to put the brand on me. Now I can't be
- 51:37Speaker 1: allowed to wear something I've been wearing for almost fifteen years.
- 51:41Speaker 1: Are you crazy? Come on, man, that's some crazy. So
- 51:44Speaker 1: we gotta get you to take you to tell me
- 51:46Speaker 1: until all of the what the hell? Ayut man, this
- 51:50Speaker 1: is some look here, brother, but not what Bernard? Is that?
- 51:54Speaker 1: What your name is? You need to get somebody on
- 51:57Speaker 1: this minute. That's all right? I know the president and
- 52:00Speaker 1: my still how about that I will just call in
- 52:03Speaker 1: and I'll figured out my bill. Right now. We need
- 52:07Speaker 1: you to take the brand off keep you come take
- 52:11Speaker 1: the brand off of me. And you wanted that bad,
- 52:13Speaker 1: come get it. That's what you do. You are not
- 52:16Speaker 1: a member of five Beta sick. I'm done give up
- 52:19Speaker 1: you talking about dog I am a member. If you
- 52:22Speaker 1: want something over here, howland your boy, that's what you do.

- 56:06Speaker 1: we go skiing. We hardly ever talked politics, and that's
- 56:09Speaker 1: a good thing. He adds that he's a perfect choice
- 56:12Speaker 1: to persuade the dictator from launching a nuclear attack against
- 56:15Speaker 1: the US because he's not crazy. Sometimes like President Trump, Well,
- 56:21Speaker 1: I think we are to let him going on and try,
- 56:24Speaker 1: because right now is going and ride up in there
- 56:31Speaker 1: with the wind and dress home. Right now we handed
- 56:39Speaker 1: the wall. But if all the people you can hang
- 56:41Speaker 1: out with, why a white not stable? They just need
- 56:47Speaker 1: a toy. Not Dennis Rotten. And why Kim John one

- 1:00:35Speaker 1: last year in May. My first visit, I noticed he
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: did some friendly f flirting, or maybe it was his
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: trained bedside manner that I mistake mistook for flirting. Well,
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: after a couple of visits, the staff member knew I
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: liked him, and they told him. He said, maybe I
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: will call you. I said to myself, this man will
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: not call me. After all, he is a doctor and
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: I am just a normal person and let alone my doctor.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: Well guess what the man called me. But the conversation
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: went from friendly straight friendly straight into phone sex. The
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: first phone call I couldn't believe it because I was
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: wondering did I strike him as that type of person.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: I played along because I was so excited that a
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: doctor was calling I am not shallow, but I've been
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: there and done that with two blue collar men, so
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: I figured why not. But I did think a code
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: of ethics was broken. Well. To make a long story short,
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: me and this doctor um I have a few un
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: medically related meetings, but only in his office after hours.
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: He says he's not married and too busy to have
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: a girlfriend. He has given me his cell phone and
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: in the beginning called me rather frequently until I noticed
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: that all his calls ended with phone sex. Eventually, I
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: got tired of playing along and called him on it.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: He got angry and said he doesn't have time to
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: get into anything. So I asked him why did he
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: call me from the get go? Then he said he
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: didn't know. Uh, he didn't know I would be that
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: type of person, meaning what more from him. I've known
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: this man slash doctor since May of last year, and
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: we have never gone out on a date and has
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: met up. Have met about three times in his office,
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: and I really liked him. I feel so hurt because
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: it seems like every time I opened my heart up,
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: I get it trampled on. Can you please give me
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: any advice? Because I still like him and I call
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: him every other day. Sometimes he will answer his phone
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: and other times he won't. I feel it is because
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: he knows it is me, even though my number is
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: coming up private. I sometimes say I wish he never
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: would have made that first call to me, because now
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: I can't stop thinking about him, whereas he probably could
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: care less about me. Steve, please be gentle, but I
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: still want your feedback. There's your name right there, Steve.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: I still want your feedback, but be gentle. Twelve minutes
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: after will She'll be back? You're listening to Steve Good
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: Morning Show coming up in about twenty minutes. Another episode
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: of bad Acting Theater with the Chapman's But right now,
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: come on, surely when you do the bad acting theater,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: could you just try to read them bad acting the
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: worst bad actor. But come on, stay with your part
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: two Today's Strawberry letter. I'm just gonna have to tell
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: it to you straight. Okay. I'm sorry you all um.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: You you keep setting yourself up and I'm trying to
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: share with you how to avoid some of the mishaps
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: in your life when it comes to men. Uh, this
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: is a classic case. Here we go again. Dr Love
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: wrote more than my prescription, did Steve Sherlan and tyed
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: Morning Crew, I need some advice. I went to a
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: specialty dctor last year and made my first visit. I
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: noticed he did some friendly flirting, or maybe it was
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: his trained bedside and manner that I mistake for flirting. Well,
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: after a couple of visits or staff member knew I
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: liked him and told him. He said, maybe I will
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: call you. I said to myself, this man will not
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: call me. After all, he is a doctor and I'm
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: just a normal person and let alone my doctor. Well
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: guess what the man called me. But the conversation went
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: from friendly straight into phone sex. The first phone call.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: I couldn't believe it because I was wondering that I
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: strike him as that type of person. I played along
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: because I was so excited that a doctor was calling.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: I'm not shallow, but I have been there and done
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: that with two blue collar men, so I figured why not.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: But I did think a code of ethics was broken. Well,
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: to make a long story short, me and this doctor
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: had a few un medical related meetings, but only in
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: his office after hours. He said he's not married and
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: too busy to have any girlfriend. He has given me
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: a cell phone in any beginning called me rather frequently
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: until I noticed that all of his calls ended with
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: phone sex. Eventually, I got tired of playing alone called
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: him on it. He got angry and said he didn't
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: have time to get into anything. So I asked him
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: why did he call me and from the get go.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: Then he said he didn't know I would be that
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: type of person, meaning want more from him. I know
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: this man slash doctor since May of last year, and
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: we have never gone out on the date, and has
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: met him three times in his office, and I really
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: liked him. I feel so hurt because it seems like
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: every time I over my heart yelp, I get trample on.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: Can you please give me any advice? Because I still
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: like him and call him every other day, Sometimes he
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: would answer his phone and other times he won't. I
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: feel this because he knows it's me, even though my
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: numbers coming up private. I sometimes said I wish he
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: never would have made the first call to me, because
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: now I can't stop thinking about him when he probably
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: could care less about me. Steve, be gentle, but I
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: still want your feedback. Well, let me just go and
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: hlp you to something. Gentle ain't my thing. So let's
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: don't even ask me to be gentle unless you're a
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: little girl calling in for advice or a teenage or something. Genteral.
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: Ain't what I do. Okay, you're gonna ask all my
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: kids gentle, ain't what I do. My wife. It's a
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: different story. Gentleman, I am. But when you're calling me
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: and you need help and I'm trying to tell you
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: something sound crazy to me. And then sometimes you gotta
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: get talked to a little tossed up. You don't let
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: the doctor tasha up now you want to see you
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: to be gentle. Should have had this whole gentleman conversation
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: with your little doctor frick. But let me tell you
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: what ladies do all the time. First of all, this
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: is a letter from a lady. First of all, don't
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: lie to me. You go to the doctor's office, you
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: noticed that he did some friendly flirting, or maybe he
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: his trained bed side and manner that I mistake for flirting.
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: You ain't mistake nothing for flirting. You've been a grown
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: woman all your life. You know when a man hitting
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: at you, tapping around the subject, let's talp you. You
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: mistaken it. We don't mistakenly flirt with nobody. We flirt
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: with you, or we don't. We ain't that good. We're stupid. Okay,
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: so let's get that out the way. Now you're trying
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: to write the letter, act like you ain't know we
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: were stupid. But you're trying to play dumb too, lady.
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: Come on, now, you say, well, after a couple of visits,
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: a staff member knew I liked him and told him.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: How the hell did the staff member know that? I
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: didn't understand? How did the staff member know that? Less
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: you told the staff member. See, you don't you set
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: this hook in your own mouth. You beat this hook,
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: You threw a hook. Don't act like you're the victim
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: and you're the hunted when you went after this man,
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: you dropped this information in the staff members ill you
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: liked him, specialty doctor and you don't went to him
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: mo thing one time? And may okay, okay, now I
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: guess what, well he said, maybe I call you? Yeah, okay.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: This went from you thought he was flirting to a
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: staff member told him you liked him, so he just
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: came to you and said, maybe I call you, lady.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: Do you know that I know enough? Something's missing in
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: this centers right here? Okay, so anywhere then when I
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: act like I'm stupid, okay, I said to myself, this
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: man will not call me. After all, he's a doctor
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: and I'm just a normal person. This is the beginning
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: of what's wrong with this letter. This is called self esteem. Ladies,
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: don't you know that you are much more valuable than
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: you even give your own self credit for. Do you
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: understand your real value to us as men? Because I
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: see right now y'all be missing the point. So you
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: introduced yourself and now you have this low self esteem.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: He picks up. Okay, do it out of out of up? Well,
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: guess what the man called me. But the conversation went
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: from friendly straight in the phone sex. On the first one.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: I couldn't believe it because I was wondering that I
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: made him think I was that type of person. Yes
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: you did. Then I played along, Yes you are. You're
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: not only made him think it was cool for you
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: to have phone sex with the phone You went along
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: with him and had it on the first call, though
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: the first call, didn't you? But didn't you, lady, because
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: I'm excited that a doctor was calling and you ain't
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: shallow because you didn't done this before with two blue
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: collar men, so I figured why not? But I did
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: think a code of ethics was broken? Who you who
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: you think broke that code? You are him? Or did
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: both of y'all break a code of ethics? This is
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: off the job? Now what kind of code is that?
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: A lot of women are married to doctors? Some type
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: of code of ethics got broken? Oh, now you want
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: to blame him, saying he wronged you. You the one
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: told his staff member you liked the man, and the
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: first place he called you, the phone conversation turned a
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: phone six. You could have had some standards and requirements
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: right there and not done it. But the first time
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: on the phone, you're doing. Whatever you do in the
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: phone sex conversation, you set the tone for the rest
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: of the relationship. Baby, you're listening to the Steve Show.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: We are praying for our neighbors in the southeast this
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: morning and uh as this devastating storm, Hurricane Irma is
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: going to hit landfall in Florida. The Carolinas and coastal Georgia.
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: Please do not forget to give. The giving continues to
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: help our neighbors affected by Hurricane Irma. You can go
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: text the word irma to nine zero. That's the word
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: irma texted to nine zero. If you want to make
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: a ten dollar donation to the Red Cross and uh,
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: you know, you can donate whatever you have at the time.
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: If you just want to help, help, just help, do
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: what you can, yeah, you know, and and um yeah,
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: just whatever you can afford. Just do that. Please text
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: the word irma to nine zero. All right, so here
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: we are, all right, it's time for another episode of
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: the Chapman's that is the Steve Harvey Morning Show soap opera.
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: You guys, ready, when you when you know, I'm like Tommy, like,
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: when you start, I think you start, but then you
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: you haven't started yet. Yeah, you start twice? Are you
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: talking to me? Yeah? Talking to you? You start? You
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: start twice? Just whatever, he's whatever he's written for you.
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: That's the start. Is a real movie. Yeah, no, she
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: don't know how to read a movie, but Tommy do.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: And he's right, but this is wait, what's that's twice?
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: Just it's on here twice. What do you want? It's
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: only one of us in a place, so he would know. Hi.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: Here we go. Hello, everybody, Welcome to another episode of
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Bad Acting Theater with your host and
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: narrator me Shirley Strawberry. We call this episode. Oh No.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: They shot Bougard Beauregard, and in last week's episode French,
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: she agreed to help Earl. How bad? Is that? All right?
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: You gotta deal? Boregard was talking trash and KK missed
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: her part to speak. I have it out with her
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: one on one anytime she's ready. Oh, but she found
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: it when she shot him, which resulted into one of
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: the longest dying scenes on the radio. I'm tying, Wait
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: a minute, hold on, hold on, sounding bat man, I'm
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: not going to die. God see, I told you. And
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: Junior has finally gotten up the nerve to confront KK
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: about her being his mom. If you're my mama, why
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: did you take so long to tell me you was
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: my mama? What about the other other mama, the lady
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: I actually called mama for all those years. I'm confused.
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna ask to go ask dad if you real mama.
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: I'm gonna ask. I'm gonna go ask dad if you
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: was my real mama, Dad will straighten this out. Shut up, Junior,
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: you ain't gonna do a damn thing. I killed Beauregard
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: and I'll kill you too if you get in my way.
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: Wait wait, wait, wait you what? No, we ain't gonna
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: hear that again today. Yeah, I guess you didn't. Wait, man,
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: I'm sorry. Good, you're terrible bad. You ain't even trying.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: I'm trying. I'm trying talking to you. No, we ain't
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: gonna hit that again today. Yeah, I guess you didn't
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: listen to that last week's episode. Hold on, hold on,
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: sound effect man, I'm not going to die. Okay, shut up, Junior. Okay, mama,
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: you got it. Well Junior switched that up real quick
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: and she stopped that annoying Wait wait wait what wait
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: what what you did? What didn't they get on your nerves?
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: Just then, there's a knock on the door. I guess
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: the sound effects guy is not paying attention, so that's
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: a buzzer sound. Okay, I guess the doorbell rang, and
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: all right, there we go, like I said, to knock
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: on the door, and it's frenchy George Wallace, who is
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: played by Tommy I know how you feel about mama jokes,
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: so I won't do one. Well, I'm here to help
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: you with your your little problem. But I do have

- 1:18:45Speaker 1: two point five pounds per week. And he's cheating and
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: indulging on the weekends as well. And still when I
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: got to cheat, I told him I can't do this
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: program this part of my life, and so it's not.
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. That weekend you had at
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: the Floyd Mayweather fight, the Vegas fight. You gotta admit, Steve,
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: you did have a little bit too much indulging that,
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: but you had Popeye's chicken, and you know what was amazing?
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: He told me he had Popeyes and he had a
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: promo event and he was just indulging a lot the
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: whole weekend. But it was so amazing was that he
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: still dropped the pound even having that horrible weekend. And
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: the reason why was because Monday through Friday he was healthy.
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: So so let me ask you this, obie, what are
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: Steve's biggest strengths? What? What are his biggest strengths right now?
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: I would say his his biggest strength is his his
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: mental ability to focus. Is that he's so disciplined. He
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: wants it so bad. Many times where I've given a
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: program someone and they don't follow it. I can give
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: you the perfect program, surely, but if you don't follow it,
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: nothing's gonna happen. So it's it's a discipline, okay. So
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: his the opposite of that, what is his biggest week
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: I would say his biggest weakness is saving him from himself.
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: He wants to do too much. So a lot of
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: times I have to say Steve, it's enough. Okay. For example,
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: right we might be doing um inclined dumbbelt chess press.
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: He's doing a chess s extra size. He's supposed to
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: only do twelve reps. Steve gonna do eighteen twenty reps. Yeah,
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: he wants to do more and I'm like Steve, it's
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: a marathon, not a sprint. How much? How much on
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: the flat dumbelt chess press, Steve is up to seventy
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: pounds and that's for the four seventy pound dumbbells. He
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: was killing it getting it. And by the way, when
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: we started he was doing like thirty thirty five pounds.
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: So he went from five pounds to seventy pounds in
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: five weeks. How many he's doing about twelve reps? Twelve
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: reps for every set. When we're doing any we're doing
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: four sets. Impressed. But but the biggest thing that I
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: would say with exercises working within your comfort zone. Just
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: because Steve is not the average sixty year old man
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: and man, he doesn't he refuses to train that way.
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: So I always tell people to work within your comfort
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: zone and then every week add some more weight, increase
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: the duration. Okay, so another question, this is going well,
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: so how so how is he losing the weight consistently?
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: I would say the reason why he's losing the weight
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: consistently is because the program is sustainable and there's many
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: options in terms of what he's able to eat. It's
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: like he's not eating fish every single day he's got
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: the option of fish, chicken, beef, you know, you know.
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: And then also when we're training for me reach, writing
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: and exercising, he needs something where he needs as many
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: options as possible because he gets board realed easily. So
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: a lot of times when we're doing cardiovascular he's like,
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: I don't want to do the stationary bike. I want
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: to do a program that is functional. I want to
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: be to feel like I'm back in the country and
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: I'm moving some hay, and a lot of exercise we're
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: doing are things that that is nostalgic to him. Back
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: in the day when he was in tell him the
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: name of the exercise that routine out in created. Steve
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: created the Steve Harvey Country workout where he's got a
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: weighted log on one shoulder and he's walking around his
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: house from the garage. It takes about three minutes to
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: do and then he'll walk right back to the front
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: of the house and take another three minutes to do.
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: So he's gotta don't tell him it takes three minutes
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: walk around my house, not the house. I know it's
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: not the house because he's a slow walking and that
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: ain't even around the house just to the back gate.
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: But what I'm hearing is it you're making it fun.
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: We're making it fun. We're making it it's not boring.
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: It's not boring. I'm not gonna say it's my way,
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: it's a highway because he knows his body and I
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: trust that he's going to make sure that anything he
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: does it's gonna be something he knows he can do.
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: So is it's safe to say, Uncle Steve gonna be
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: on the front cover like Morris will If Tyler Tyler
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: Berry can get on the cover of Men's Health, Men's Fitness,
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: Steve Harvey can, and I'm gonna get Steve. I'm gonna
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: make sure it's gonna be the after picture. It's gonna
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: be the after picture. No air brush, we can't take
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: that picture now, all right now, all right now, by
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: the end of the year, by his birthday, right, Steve, Yeah,
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: my birthday, man. I want to try to get to
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: two six teams. Okay. I started the program at two
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: forty four. I'm down stepped on the scale. I was
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: two thirty two this Monday. What goal is to get
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: I need six team o pounds. Yeah, we're literally we're
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: literally halfway there Obi. Thank you so much. Thank you

- 1:24:41Speaker 1: a reminder, we have a lot of folks in our
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: listening area that will be affected by Hurricane Irma. You know,

- 1:25:16Speaker 1: Football is back this same day, Yeah, guys, but due
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: to Hurricane Irma, the Tampa Bay Bucks and the Miami
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: Dolphins game has been postponed rescheduled for November nine. But nephew,
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: you gotta run down of the rest of the games
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: going on this Sunday, you guys want to chop it
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: up talking about all right, first game, New York Jets
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: are at Buffalo. New York Jets at Buffalo or the Buffalo,
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: both of them going through some rough changes over there,
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: and both of the New York teams. So I'm just
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: gonna have to go with the Jets, but I think
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: Buffalo could pull it out. But let me see, now,
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: Buffalo got a good quarterback over there. I know, I'm
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: gonna go with the Buffalo Bills. Man upset the Jets. Okay,
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: here we go. Philadelphia Eagle is at the Washington Red Ski.
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: That's a hard one, man, that's a hard one right there,
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: because Cousins is playing now, and then that other quarterback
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: for Philly he playing, but they didn't got rid of
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: McCoy and send him over to the Buffalo Bills. They
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: running game. I don't know what it is in Philly
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: right now. So just for the season open, I'm gonna
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: have to just gonna go within Washington Rid that big
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: boy from Kansas too. Come on, somebody sound good. It's
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: so good coming up. We got the Raiders at Tennessee,
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: Titans Raiders now, man, the Raiders got a good team, man,
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: And I'm gonna have to go with the Raiders on
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: this from side about that Nashville, but I think the
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: Raiders gonna get them this time. Raiders gotta go. That's
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: what beats motives hung color. They're playing that, Tommy. They're
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: playing in Tennessee. They're playing in Nashville. That's gonna be
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: hard though, that's gonna out. Yeah, I'm gonna have to
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: go and go with the Titans. It is not Be
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: careful on this next one. Be careful on this next one.
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: Jacksonville Jaguars are headed to Houston to play the Texans.
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: Are they playing in Houston? Yeah? Really, yeah, yes, sir.
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: You know I stadium covered. Yeah, that's tracks And every
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: time I was thinking about the ground, thinking about it's receded. Well,
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with the Houston Texas a moral victory. Yeah.
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: I think they're gonna play for the city Arizona. Yeah,
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: Arizona headed to Detroit. I'm gonna go with Detroit. Yeah,
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: Stadlers headed to Cleveland. It's a damn shame we opened
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: to see everything in me gonna be pulling for them.
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: Damn Browns would be a dog on miracle. But we
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: got that young boy to Notre Dame. That's the starting
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: quarterback man, so we're gonna go and see what he do.
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: I'm going for the Browns, even if I know they're
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: gonna lose. Alright, alright, real real fast, Like Atlanta Falcons
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: here to to Chicago Falcons, Baltimore, cincin at it Baltimore, Indianapolis,
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: l A Rams Indianapolis cause l A don't know who
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: they are, right man? Last one Carolina Panthers at San
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: Francisco Panthers. Calm, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: All right, well, we have the second gratulations to you, Steve.
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: This has been at your premier week of the new
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: talk show Stand young man. Yes, in Hollywood, start studying
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: Chelsea Handling, Marlon wins On and on. How do you feel?
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: I feel great about the concept of the show. You know, Uh,
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: I think the numbers are gonna increase. I think, you know,
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: because we're not getting numbers right now. To Florida because
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: everybody's prepaying and we're not getting no numbers out of
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: the Southern Texas area. Houston has been down. Man, we
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: really pull it in. Praying for those people when things
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: get back up to speed, man numbers to go up.
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: But real happy with the show. We're hitting the mark
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: what we're supposed to hit. Yeah. Mom, have a lot
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: of fun with it. Man, It's it's kind of like
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: a dream come true. It's not a late night show,
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: but I look like it's. Uh yeah, I'm just waiting
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: on my suits to get here, you know, because I
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: was a new suit. But my Taylor messing me over
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: right now because I wanted all new suits for the
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: new show. Huh happens? No, Well, I just a couple
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: of them came here. But I'm just hoping he hit
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: it that. I saw him walk past, so you know,
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: hopefully he out some suits with him. I know what Taylor.
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: The new suits, new show, new guests, new attitude, new set,
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: new city. Man, I like to set, man, we look
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: like we're gonna be in olive wool for a minute.
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: To get a big screen in my card, I can
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: find a can't do it? You put one of these
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: squares in there. We would play hard and it's really good. Now.
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: I want to thank my buddy's Marlin Wins for stopping through.
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: Jay little Man came through and gave me the microphone
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: that he had on his desk for two Yeah. Man,
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: he gave me the microphone. He bought it for me,
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: said Steve. If I passed this to anybody, won't give
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: it to you. He gave me the microphone to set
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: on the Tonight Show for twenty two years. So I
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: put it on my desk. Man, That's that's cool. Huh.
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: I'm gonna be on the show today. That's what I
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: was gonna ask him. Charlie Sheen, Yeah, winning, winning. What
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: are you doing? What are you doing here? Boy? Obvious?
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: I got a great boy. I got a question for you.
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: See you? So how's it going? You got Jay working,
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: Junior working over there. You brought your boys over there working?
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: How have some fun? You know? You know how you talk?
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: I don't know. No, I mean it's funny because he
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: come off in the writing room like he walked around
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: here free. We call it that. I'm a stade because
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: it's like seventy two of us in a little small
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: place name. I'm actually have them in the autom over
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: writing room. Yeah, seven of them. So Jack, you're having fun.
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: What if you're learning? You know, anytime you're just old
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: and working, it's fun. Still want it? Can put in
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: the apple and actually get it. How old is he?
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: Don't worry about this stage we're looking for. We have
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: a good time. Thank you all for watching. That's good.
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: Appreciate you all. Watch and make sure you set your DVRs.
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: Watch Steve to Charlie Sheen and Lee and Ron's check
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: your local listings. We'll be back right after this. You're
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: listening to morning show. All right, Hey, we're back. Everybody,
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: listen to all of our oh friends and listeners and
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: loved ones and uh over in the islands. Man, we
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: pray in for you, We really are. Man. St. Martin
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: got hit really, really hard. It's kind of skirted past
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: Puerto Rico, but you still gotta be aware of the
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: flooding that they're predicting. So they wanted the people in
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: Puerto Rico not to let their guard down. Even though
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: the hard part of it didn't hit them. They still looking.
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: You know the waves, it's gonna be coming in. It's
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: gonna be a lot of water. They're talking about flooding. St.
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: Martin was just, man, man, it's just I don't even know,
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: you know, I don't know what's gonna is heading towards
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: the Bahamas, you know, and Haiti is over that way.
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: They can't don't nobody really want this in their life.
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: But we're praying for you. Man, and y'all, please take
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: heed to all the vacution weights, all the vactuation, all
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: warnings and notices and how to do it, and look,
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: like I said earlier on the show, I know your
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: home is your your biggest investment. I know how you
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: feel about your home. You love it. You know, it's
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: it's where you raise your kids, it's where you live,
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: it's where you have family time dinners. But listen to me,
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: do not stay there trying to save your house, because
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: you can't beat that wind, and you can't beat that water.
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: That's an unstoppable force. Man, Mother nature is serious and
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: that water just go where you go. It It does
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: not play. So please do not try to save your property.
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: Do one thing, save your loved ones, and save yourself.
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: That's imperative. We can we can get another house, as
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: hard of a loss as that is. And I'm not
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: pretending to know what it is. I would rather see
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: you safe. Then you save the house. Now you're going,
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: because if you're going in the houses there where we are,
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: where we are, I save my house, but we're at
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: your field. Be mindful of that out there, Be very
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: very careful, be on watch, and don't take chances. Do
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: the safe thing in this turn lead man. If they
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: say leave, they're not turning you to leave, They just
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: want you to leave. Well, you have to know if
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: you pop off, they ain't gonna be able to come
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: get you. Yeah, they're not going to be able to
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: rescue you, like you said, Steve, and get to you.
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: So if they're asking you to evacuate, do so. If
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: you're in the area where they don't ask you to evacuate,
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: you still need to pay attention, be prepared, listen to
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: the news, get your supplies, get your food, get your water.
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: I know there's a lot of places in the areas
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: where they're out of water. Do old school, fill your
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: bathtub up with water. Then you'll have water in your house.
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: These are some basic needs you're talking about, basic needs
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: that you need to do that time. Snatch your fund
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: man's put them in your pockets, so then you know.
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: And if you're not in a hurricane area and you
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: want to help those, we've been telling you guys all
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: more than long to text the world my I r
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: M A to nine zero nine nine nine to make
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: a ten dollar donation or whatever you can afford, whatever
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: your budget, as a little bit of help. So we
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: had a good show today, you guys. That acting was
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: very bad. It wasn't the worst we've ever done. It
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: was the worst we've ever done to that you think, really,
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: but really, don't y'all really got to read over y'all
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: pause before we started. The whole damn thing was Mike,
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: Mama's in my land, Mama's It's gonna sound worse, and
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: once we put it together, hold on worse, it can't
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: get any worse. No serious, Yeah, time me trying to
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: get an Oscar. I'm not trying to get an Oscar.
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: I'm just he's a professionally trained actor. He's act. Threw
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: me off, call it threw me off. I was like
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: she'd had two starts. She started, then she started, and
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: then Shirley really does I mean, I wrote it, but
