Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Kamala Unveils Her 82 page Plan of Hell for America
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Kamala Harris has come out and done a big interview
- 0:05Speaker 1: on the economy that didn't work. Then she had a
- 0:08Speaker 1: big speech on the economy that also didn't work because
- 0:12Speaker 1: there was nothing actually in there. There was no real
- 0:17Speaker 1: facts about what her plan would be. And Kamala Harris
- 0:21Speaker 1: is now having a problem because people still don't know
- 0:24Speaker 1: what she believes in. She won't actually tell you what
- 0:27Speaker 1: her policies are. Well, all that was supposed to be erased,
- 0:32Speaker 1: why because Kamala Harris came out with an eighty two
- 0:37Speaker 1: page policy plan. Bloomberg described the eighty two page plan
- 0:44Speaker 1: this way.
- 0:45Speaker 2: An appearance at the Economic Club in Pittsburgh, where she
- 0:48Speaker 2: outlined specifically what she'd like to do with American manufacturing.
- 0:53Speaker 3: And across all these industries of the future, we will
- 0:56Speaker 3: prioritize investments for lengthening factory towns. This is so important
- 1:02Speaker 3: for strengthening factory towns, retooling existing factories, hiring locally, and
- 1:11Speaker 3: working with unions, because no one who grows up in
- 1:15Speaker 3: America's greatest industrial or agricultural centers sh'd be abandoned.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Joining us now for more. Bloomberg's Wendy Benjaminson and Bloomberg
- 1:26Speaker 2: Government's Jonathan Tomorrow here with us in our Washington d
- 1:29Speaker 2: C studios. Welcome to you both. Of course, it wasn't
- 1:31Speaker 2: just the speech from Kamala Harris today, but we now
- 1:34Speaker 2: have a policy book eighty two pages long. You can
- 1:37Speaker 2: find it online, read it in its entirety if you
- 1:40Speaker 2: would like a.
- 1:40Speaker 4: Lot of it.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Though, Wendy outlines things she's already talked about, including when
- 1:44Speaker 2: it comes to the child tax credit, for example, this
- 1:46Speaker 2: new tax credit for manufacturing, though also included. We just
- 1:50Speaker 2: don't exactly know more specific details than that.
- 1:54Speaker 5: No, we don't. And Kamala Harris right now, I mean
- 1:56Speaker 5: she joined the race with only a few months to campaign,
- 1:59Speaker 5: as opposed to a year and a half or four
- 2:01Speaker 5: years that candidates normally have, and she is she doesn't
- 2:07Speaker 5: want to lose a single solitary vote, right, She doesn't
- 2:10Speaker 5: want to anger anyone. So she's keeping the policy book,
- 2:13Speaker 5: her speeches at this very sort of general level where
- 2:16Speaker 5: she's four workers, and she's for employers, and she's for capitalism,
- 2:21Speaker 5: and she's for you know, tax credits and for building
- 2:24Speaker 5: the middle class. She's just going to be out there
- 2:28Speaker 5: trying to make everyone happy and run the clock for
- 2:30Speaker 5: forty one days.
- 2:32Speaker 4: Forty one days.
- 2:33Speaker 1: I think I love that Bloomberg is even like like
- 2:37Speaker 1: this is absurd. It doesn't matter if it's eighty two pages,
- 2:41Speaker 1: if all of it is generalities and things that she
- 2:45Speaker 1: has already said. Now, I'm going to go through this
- 2:48Speaker 1: for you so you know what's actually in it in
- 2:50Speaker 1: just a second. But first I want to tell you
- 2:52Speaker 1: about my friends over at Patriot Mobile. If you don't
- 2:55Speaker 1: know about Patriot Mobile, you've got to check out what
- 2:58Speaker 1: they are doing, because big mobile that you're with right now,
- 3:02Speaker 1: they are giving big donations to democratic causes, candidates and organizations.
- 3:08Speaker 1: And what's even more shocking about Patriot Mobile is well,
- 3:12Speaker 1: they don't do that. They actually take your money every month,
- 3:15Speaker 1: about five percent of your bill, and they give it
- 3:18Speaker 1: back to conservative causes, candidates and organizations that stand up
- 3:22Speaker 1: for our First and our Second Amendment rights.
- 3:25Speaker 4: The rights of unborn children.
- 3:27Speaker 1: And they pay and support and advocate for our wounded warriors,
- 3:31Speaker 1: our first responders, and our police heroes. That is why
- 3:36Speaker 1: I love switching to Patriot Mobile. It's why they are
- 3:39Speaker 1: the phone company that I use, because now I know
- 3:41Speaker 1: with every phone call I'm making a difference, and my
- 3:44Speaker 1: money is not going to radical leftist organizations like Big
- 3:48Speaker 1: Mobile gives to Big Mobile gives big donations to democratic
- 3:51Speaker 1: causes and candidates. But they also give big donations, and
- 3:54Speaker 1: this may be the most shocking part to organizations that
- 3:57Speaker 1: advocate support and literally pay for abortions. If you don't
- 4:01Speaker 1: want your money going there, you need to switch to
- 4:04Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile. And I want to give you a free
- 4:06Speaker 1: month of service by switching right now. All you have
- 4:10Speaker 1: to do is go to Patriot Mobile dot com slash ferguson.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile dot com slash ferguson. Are called them nine
- 4:17Speaker 1: to seven to Patriot right now, and you're gonna get
- 4:21Speaker 1: a free month when you use the offer code ferguson.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Join me and switch to America's only Christian conservative mobile provider,
- 4:28Speaker 1: and every month, five percent of your bill goes back
- 4:31Speaker 1: to support conservative causes at no extra cost to you.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson or nine to seven two
- 4:38Speaker 1: Patriot and your free month of service use the promo
- 4:42Speaker 1: code ferguson. Now back to this eighty two pages. All right,
- 4:48Speaker 1: this is the part that is just makes me furious.
- 4:53Speaker 1: They go, all right, how many pages. Does it look
- 4:56Speaker 1: like we need to throw out there so that we
- 4:59Speaker 1: can then say we do have policies, and it's excember
- 5:04Speaker 1: pages of policies. Somebody decided eighty two would be enough.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Now when you heard Bloomberg's whinny Benjaminson way in on
- 5:12Speaker 1: President Harris's addressed economy dropping this eighty two page policy
- 5:16Speaker 1: book and saying it's basically I'm in favor of like
- 5:19Speaker 1: capitalism and jobs.
- 5:21Speaker 4: And it's all generalities. That's it.
- 5:24Speaker 1: There's others, by the way that got in on the
- 5:26Speaker 1: action saying this isn't help at all. We don't know
- 5:29Speaker 1: anything else. There's nothing concrete in here. This is all
- 5:33Speaker 1: a bunch of kumbayaism and that is exactly what it is.
- 5:38Speaker 4: Now. This is as And here's the other thing.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Somebody needs to ask her the question, and the simple
- 5:45Speaker 1: question that needs to be asked is the question of Okay,
- 5:49Speaker 1: so what's next?
- 5:50Speaker 4: Right, like, what are you going to when.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Are you gonna tell us what your policies actually are.
- 5:58Speaker 1: She's not gonna do it, and that was the point
- 6:01Speaker 1: that Bloomberg was making as well. She's going to just
- 6:04Speaker 1: talk in generalities and run the clock out.
- 6:08Speaker 6: Now, Wendy in terms of you know, appealing to the masses.
- 6:11Speaker 6: You know, she was in western Pennsylvania today and I
- 6:14Speaker 6: presume trying to paint herself as a pro labor and
- 6:18Speaker 6: there has been concerns about that. Do you think she
- 6:21Speaker 6: succeeded in that today?
- 6:23Speaker 5: I think she did. I mean she says all the
- 6:26Speaker 5: right things to unions. And there is this, you know,
- 6:28Speaker 5: the Trump campaign is trying to make a big deal
- 6:30Speaker 5: about how she didn't get the Teamster's endorsement, which they
- 6:33Speaker 5: didn't get either, but they are making a big deal
- 6:36Speaker 5: about how a Democrat did not get the labor endorsement.
- 6:39Speaker 5: She did get the endorsement of several locals or regional
- 6:43Speaker 5: Teamsters unions and many other unions. But and she is
- 6:47Speaker 5: promising to do all those things. She is also promising
- 6:50Speaker 5: as a centrist to make it easier for companies and
- 6:54Speaker 5: manufacturers to get the capital they need to keep going.
- 6:57Speaker 5: So she's really, like I said, trying to you know,
- 7:00Speaker 5: stick to that middle ground there.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Now, that's what Bloomberg had to say. And again they're
- 7:06Speaker 1: not buying it. So and this hasn't been going well
- 7:08Speaker 1: for Harris, so they said, all right, what we're gonna
- 7:10Speaker 1: do is we're gonna send her over to CNBC and
- 7:14Speaker 1: we're gonna let her talk at CNBC and that somehow
- 7:16Speaker 1: is going to fix the issues. Kama Harris struggles to
- 7:20Speaker 1: answer economic questions also on CNBC when she gave her
- 7:25Speaker 1: first solo interview on cable News as the Democratic Party's nominee.
- 7:29Speaker 1: So this is the very first interview, and they thought,
- 7:31Speaker 1: all right, well, send her to CNBC and this will
- 7:33Speaker 1: show she's got a plan and she can say over
- 7:35Speaker 1: and over again, how many how many you know pages
- 7:38Speaker 1: it is? And I just did this other speech. Well
- 7:40Speaker 1: guess what. She failed to answer questions even in a
- 7:44Speaker 1: friendly interview with MSNBC Stephanie Rule, now Stephanie who faces
- 7:49Speaker 1: criticism for comments Friday in which she had defended, okay
- 7:54Speaker 1: her from having to face questions about her policies. Harris
- 7:57Speaker 1: about defending her policies, and I guess that's how she
- 7:59Speaker 1: got this interview, She asked Harris, pointed questions and even
- 8:03Speaker 1: fact check some of our repeated talking points. It did
- 8:06Speaker 1: not go well at all. I want you to take
- 8:10Speaker 1: a listen to one of those very simple questions.
- 8:13Speaker 4: Harris was asked.
- 8:14Speaker 7: Expanding that child tax credit or you mentioned housing before
- 8:18Speaker 7: getting that extra money for a first home.
- 8:21Speaker 4: If you can't raise.
- 8:21Speaker 7: Corporate taxes, or if GOP takes control of the Senate,
- 8:25Speaker 7: where do you get the money to do that? Do
- 8:27Speaker 7: you still go forward those plans and borrow?
- 8:30Speaker 3: Well, but we're going to have to raise corporate taxes,
- 8:33Speaker 3: and we're going to have to raise We're going to
- 8:37Speaker 3: have to make sure that the biggest corporations and billionaires
- 8:42Speaker 3: pay their fair share. That's just it. It's about paying
- 8:45Speaker 3: their fair share. I am not mad at anyone for
- 8:48Speaker 3: achieving success, but everyone should pay their fair share. And
- 8:52Speaker 3: it is not right that the teachers and the firefighters
- 8:55Speaker 3: that I meet every day across our country are paying
- 8:58Speaker 3: a higher tax then the richest people in our country.
- 9:02Speaker 7: Bill Gates just said it this week. If he was
- 9:04Speaker 7: in charge of taxes, he would have paid more. But
- 9:06Speaker 7: how do you find that line to make sure corporations
- 9:09Speaker 7: are paying their fair share? But they're not leaving our country?
- 9:13Speaker 1: By the way, I still want someone to explain to
- 9:15Speaker 1: me what fair share means like it's something we hear
- 9:18Speaker 1: every election cycle. They demonize the wealthy, and they demonize
- 9:23Speaker 1: people that pay a crap ton of taxes, saying you're
- 9:27Speaker 1: not paying your fair share. I want to know an
- 9:29Speaker 1: actual number, because when Kama Harris used to go out numbers,
- 9:33Speaker 1: it was about seventy percent tax rate. She hasn't said
- 9:36Speaker 1: that lately, but she said it in the past. So
- 9:38Speaker 1: what is the number now? Is it still seventy percent?
- 9:43Speaker 1: One of the points she was trying to make is, well,
- 9:45Speaker 1: you know you got to pay your fair share. If
- 9:48Speaker 1: anyone says that in front of a journalist, the journalist's
- 9:52Speaker 1: next question should be what number is fair share? How
- 9:56Speaker 1: do you determine what fair share is? Tell the American
- 9:58Speaker 1: people and the corporation what a fair share is. Is
- 10:01Speaker 1: it seventy percent because you've said in the past you've
- 10:04Speaker 1: been in favor of high taxes at seventy percent? Is
- 10:06Speaker 1: it fifty percent? Is it sixty percent? What is your
- 10:09Speaker 1: definition of fair share? Because the question that CNBC asked there,
- 10:14Speaker 1: and this is why I bring this up to go
- 10:16Speaker 1: back to it, she said, how do you you know
- 10:19Speaker 1: Bill Gates says if he was in charge of taxes,
- 10:21Speaker 1: he paid more.
- 10:21Speaker 4: I don't believe that for a second. I think Bill
- 10:23Speaker 4: Gates full of crap. But this is what.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Billionaires say when they get out of touch with the
- 10:26Speaker 1: reality because they have so much damn money.
- 10:28Speaker 4: And I don't believe him, by the way. I think
- 10:30Speaker 4: he's totally full of crap.
- 10:31Speaker 1: I think he's a Weirdoh, and I don't trust Bill
- 10:34Speaker 1: Gates at all, by the way, I want to be
- 10:36Speaker 1: very clear about that. But he says, well, if I
- 10:38Speaker 1: was in charge of tax policy, I would have paid more.
- 10:40Speaker 4: I think you're a liar. I think you're a fraud.
- 10:43Speaker 1: And so I go back to this question, how do
- 10:47Speaker 1: you and she asked the question.
- 10:49Speaker 4: It's an important question.
- 10:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna back it up like ten seconds here, because
- 10:52Speaker 1: she asked the question, how do you make sure people
- 10:54Speaker 1: aren't going to leave the country, Like, if you tax
- 10:56Speaker 1: corporations too much, they're all going to leave America, which
- 10:59Speaker 1: is which then goes back to the question, Well, then
- 11:01Speaker 1: what is a fair share?
- 11:03Speaker 4: Then?
- 11:03Speaker 1: Is it to the maximum amount before they decide to
- 11:06Speaker 1: pack up and go to another country.
- 11:08Speaker 7: Listen, that says he would have paid more, But how
- 11:10Speaker 7: do you find that line to make sure corporations are
- 11:13Speaker 7: paying their fair share but they're not leaving our country?
- 11:17Speaker 3: Well, listen, I work with a lot of CEOs. I
- 11:19Speaker 3: have spent a lot of time with CEOs, and I'm
- 11:21Speaker 3: going to tell you that the business leaders who are
- 11:24Speaker 3: actually part of the engine of America's economy agree that
- 11:29Speaker 3: people should pay their fair share.
- 11:31Speaker 4: They also agree.
- 11:32Speaker 3: That when we look at a plan such as mine
- 11:35Speaker 3: that is about investing in the middle class, investing in
- 11:38Speaker 3: new industries, investing in bringing down costs, invest in entrepreneurs
- 11:44Speaker 3: like small businesses, that the overall economy is stronger and
- 11:48Speaker 3: everyone benefits.
- 11:50Speaker 1: She had answered the question. Now you notice she literally
- 11:54Speaker 1: did not answer the question. Now, after this interview was over,
- 12:01Speaker 1: Stephanie on this softball interview with Kamala she even said
- 12:06Speaker 1: when she was assessing, she went on MSNBC right to
- 12:11Speaker 1: talk about this interview, and they're talking to her about
- 12:13Speaker 1: the interview.
- 12:14Speaker 4: You want to know what her own assessment is. Listen,
- 12:16Speaker 4: we'll talk about that outthor I do.
- 12:20Speaker 7: But here's what it's a little tricky. She doesn't answer
- 12:22Speaker 7: the question around if the GOP is controlling the Senate,
- 12:26Speaker 7: if she can't raise corporate taxes, where is she going
- 12:28Speaker 7: to get the money from, you know, to expand the
- 12:30Speaker 7: child's ax credit and do all the things she wants
- 12:32Speaker 7: to do. And she says, we just have to do it.
- 12:35Speaker 7: And that's great, and that's a campaign promise. But the
- 12:38Speaker 7: issue is if it means we're just going to borrow again,
- 12:41Speaker 7: then what we're doing is we're just never addressing the deficit.
- 12:45Speaker 7: And back in the days when you were a proud Republican,
- 12:49Speaker 7: debts and deficits mattered.
- 12:52Speaker 4: In other words, she doesn't answer the question right.
- 12:55Speaker 1: She doesn't answer the question because she doesn't know how
- 12:59Speaker 1: to answer or the question, or she can't tell you
- 13:02Speaker 1: what she really thinks because she believes in insanely high
- 13:05Speaker 1: taxes and government control and government pricing. Now you may say,
- 13:10Speaker 1: hold on, Ben, that's not what she says. All right,
- 13:12Speaker 1: let's go to that part of the interview. Kama Herris
- 13:15Speaker 1: was asked about implementing price controls.
- 13:18Speaker 4: That's what they do in communist countries. Listen, you said you.
- 13:21Speaker 7: Want to take this on by going after those who
- 13:25Speaker 7: engage in price gouging. But as somebody who supports free markets,
- 13:29Speaker 7: who's a capitalist, how do you go price gouging without
- 13:34Speaker 7: implementing price controls? Because once we get in the zone,
- 13:38Speaker 7: people start to get worried and they say, I don't
- 13:40Speaker 7: know what she stands for.
- 13:41Speaker 3: So just to be very frank, I am never going
- 13:46Speaker 3: to apologize for going after companies and corporations that take
- 13:52Speaker 3: advantage of the desperation of the American people. And I
- 13:55Speaker 3: as Attorney General, I saw this happen in the midst
- 13:58Speaker 3: of an emergency, it be an extreme weather event or
- 14:01Speaker 3: even the pandemic. We saw it where those few companies,
- 14:05Speaker 3: not the majority, not most, but those few companies that
- 14:10Speaker 3: would take advantage of the desperation of people and jack
- 14:14Speaker 3: up prices.
- 14:14Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm going to go after them. Yes, I'm going.
- 14:16Speaker 3: To go after them. And that is part of a
- 14:20Speaker 3: much more comprehensive plan on what we can do to
- 14:23Speaker 3: bring down the cost of living, including housing, including the
- 14:27Speaker 3: everyday needs of the American people.
- 14:30Speaker 1: That's like I mean, I'm never going to apologize for
- 14:33Speaker 1: going after companies and corporation that take advantage of the
- 14:36Speaker 1: desperation of the American people. Last year, in twenty twenty three,
- 14:41Speaker 1: the profit margin for grocery stores nationwide was one and
- 14:45Speaker 1: a half percent.
- 14:47Speaker 4: Apple was like thirty percent.
- 14:49Speaker 1: You want to talk about price gouging, go after Apple, which,
- 14:52Speaker 1: by the way, I don't think you should go after Apple.
- 14:54Speaker 1: I'm just saying, if you're actually going after people for
- 14:57Speaker 1: price gouging, then you should be going going after Apple.
- 15:01Speaker 1: But when you say you're going to go after the grotuors,
- 15:04Speaker 1: and by the way, she may do this, like she
- 15:07Speaker 1: actually might do it, all right, I really do believe this.
- 15:13Speaker 1: But even CNBC after the interview, they played this part
- 15:17Speaker 1: and they're like, this is a problem because it's a
- 15:20Speaker 1: communist idea, and if you understand economics, you understand she's
- 15:25Speaker 1: demanding communism.
- 15:29Speaker 7: You've said you want to take this on by going
- 15:32Speaker 7: after those who engage in price gouging. But as somebody
- 15:35Speaker 7: who supports free markets, who's a capitalist, how do you
- 15:39Speaker 7: go after price gouging without implementing price controls? Because once
- 15:44Speaker 7: we get in the zone, people start to get worried
- 15:47Speaker 7: and they say, I don't know what she stands for.
- 15:49Speaker 3: So, just to be very frank, I am never going
- 15:54Speaker 3: to apologize for going after companies and corporations that take
- 16:00Speaker 3: advantage of the desperation of the American people.
- 16:05Speaker 8: She didn't say she wasn't going to implement price controls
- 16:08Speaker 8: and didn't really explain the policy, but this continues to
- 16:12Speaker 8: be one of her centerpiece topics around inflation, and it
- 16:16Speaker 8: just doesn't make economic sense, and to back it up further.
- 16:19Speaker 8: Here's a chart for you what's been happening with grocery
- 16:21Speaker 8: price inflation.
- 16:23Speaker 5: According to the.
- 16:24Speaker 4: CPI, it's come back down. So yes, we're.
- 16:27Speaker 8: All feeling it because if there's a cumulative impact, and
- 16:29Speaker 8: prices are still more than twenty percent higher than they
- 16:31Speaker 8: were in twenty nineteen, but the prices are coming down,
- 16:35Speaker 8: and it's just not clear what a government.
- 16:38Speaker 9: But also you've made the point the margins have did
- 16:40Speaker 9: not appreciably increase, correct, And so yeah, I don't know
- 16:45Speaker 9: what's this price gouging. I mean, maybe there are certain
- 16:47Speaker 9: pockets of certain areas of the economy.
- 16:50Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 16:51Speaker 8: It's pockets fund are still high and from a lot
- 16:54Speaker 8: of these prices are still high. And you know, the
- 16:57Speaker 8: whole notion like if your opponent is painting you as
- 17:02Speaker 8: a communist, maybe don't talk about price controls and price
- 17:05Speaker 8: gauging last time.
- 17:06Speaker 4: I mean that's CNBC saying it.
- 17:08Speaker 1: And they're also like the prices have gone up from inflation,
- 17:12Speaker 1: the profits have not gone up. And that is the
- 17:15Speaker 1: part that's so dangerous about Kamala Harris's policy. Here is
- 17:19Speaker 1: again the prices have not gone up as in their.
- 17:26Speaker 4: Price gouging you.
- 17:27Speaker 1: The profits are insanely low one a half percent. Yes,
- 17:31Speaker 1: the prices of the goods, yes, the produce, yes, everything
- 17:34Speaker 1: is skyrocket The profits have not skyrocketed with them. So
- 17:38Speaker 1: when you understand how the market works, you understand just
- 17:43Speaker 1: how ridiculous she sounds, how ridiculous.
- 17:48Speaker 4: All of this becomes.
- 17:50Speaker 1: The reality of how bad it is, how absurd it is.
- 17:55Speaker 1: And yet they're saying, as you just heard there on CNBC,
- 17:59Speaker 1: maybe don't go for communist ideas when your opponent is
- 18:03Speaker 1: actually calling you a communist.
- 18:07Speaker 4: Like, maybe that's when you shouldn't be.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Going out there and advocating for communist ideas. This plan
- 18:15Speaker 1: by Harris that she's dropped is all crap, and everybody
- 18:20Speaker 1: knows it's crap, and they know it's eighty two pages
- 18:23Speaker 1: of crap, and they know that there's no specifics in
- 18:25Speaker 1: the eighty two pages, but it gives them a talking
- 18:27Speaker 1: point to say, no, no, no, we have a plan. You
- 18:29Speaker 1: didn't read the plan. Go read the plan. By the way,
- 18:31Speaker 1: I read this crap so you don't have to. It
- 18:34Speaker 1: is eighty two pages of nothing. It's eighty two pages
- 18:38Speaker 1: of things that she's already said that actually make no
- 18:42Speaker 1: sense at all.
- 18:44Speaker 4: There's no policies.
- 18:46Speaker 1: It's all we need a better economy, all right, we
- 18:50Speaker 1: need a better economy. We need a better way for
- 18:54Speaker 1: people to succeed. Okay, how we need lower prices?
- 18:59Speaker 4: Okay.
- 19:00Speaker 1: The question that you should be asking is, well, then
- 19:03Speaker 1: how are you going to do it? And and there's
- 19:04Speaker 1: also one other part here, why are people not saying, woman,
- 19:10Speaker 1: you're in charge?
- 19:13Speaker 4: Okay? Like you're you are in.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Charge, You are in charge, You're in charge. Like why
- 19:21Speaker 1: aren't you doing this now? You have the levers of power.
- 19:25Speaker 1: I said this in the show yesterday. So you should
- 19:28Speaker 1: be able accountable for not doing this right now, for
- 19:31Speaker 1: for not actually caring right now like this is you
- 19:35Speaker 1: don't have.
- 19:36Speaker 4: To wait to do this. You can do it now.
- 19:39Speaker 1: And and by the way, Joe Biden said on the
- 19:42Speaker 1: View that he has given Kamala Harris the ability to
- 19:45Speaker 1: do whatever Kamala Harris needs to do. He's basically turned
- 19:48Speaker 1: over the reins to her. Okay, like like like he
- 19:53Speaker 1: said that on the View. So if that's what you're
- 19:57Speaker 1: saying on the View, you can't tell me that you
- 20:03Speaker 1: do not have the power and or the ability to
- 20:07Speaker 1: do it now? All right, real quick, though, I want
- 20:10Speaker 1: to just take a pause and talk about.
- 20:12Speaker 4: What's about to happen this coming weekend. It's going to

- 21:54Speaker 1: Picks right now. I go back to the basic issues.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Trump's last day in office, inflation was one point four percent.
- 22:02Speaker 1: It's been as high as nine point one percent under
- 22:04Speaker 1: Harris Gas was two thirty nine. Trump's last d in
- 22:07Speaker 1: office five h two is the highest has been nation
- 22:09Speaker 1: average under Kamala. Mortgage rates to day Trump left office
- 22:13Speaker 1: two point eight percent under Kamala Harrison had been as
- 22:15Speaker 1: high as eight percent. Average rent under Donald Trump's office
- 22:20Speaker 1: time in office fourteen hundred dollars. Average rent under Kamala
- 22:23Speaker 1: Harris eighteen hundred dollars. This is the difference between the
- 22:28Speaker 1: two policies. And when Kama Harris came out and said,
- 22:31Speaker 1: I'm going to give you a vision, well apparently it's
- 22:34Speaker 1: an eighty It's an eighty plus page vision of nothing.
- 22:38Speaker 1: There's two things that have been said so far in
- 22:40Speaker 1: this campaign by Harrison Walls that I agree with.
- 22:43Speaker 4: Here's Tim Walls of ep CAN at first.
- 22:45Speaker 10: We can't afford we can't afford four more years of this.
- 22:52Speaker 1: I agree with him, we can't afford four more years
- 22:56Speaker 1: of this.
- 22:57Speaker 4: I can't believe you actually said it.
- 22:58Speaker 1: And then there's also Tama Harrison what she said this
- 23:02Speaker 1: week about the economy.
- 23:04Speaker 4: This is Kamala in her own words.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Again, I couldn't agree with her more when she said this,
- 23:09Speaker 1: we just.
- 23:09Speaker 3: Need to move past the failed policies that we have
- 23:15Speaker 3: proven don't work.
- 23:16Speaker 1: That is your entire career as the vice president. That's everything, folks,
- 23:22Speaker 1: that's all of it. And to act like that somehow
- 23:27Speaker 1: you're gonna be able to like fix this, to somehow
- 23:30Speaker 1: act like you're.
- 23:31Speaker 4: Gonna like this is gonna get better.
- 23:33Speaker 1: You know, there's a New York Times poll that came
- 23:35Speaker 1: out and it shows that it's a tight race between
- 23:39Speaker 1: Harris and Trump.
- 23:40Speaker 4: But there's something interesting that's changing. Kamaia Harris has.
- 23:44Speaker 1: Dropped eleven percent among Latino voters in Arizona the last month.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Why because they're getting their jobs taken away by illegal
- 23:52Speaker 1: immigrants and rents have gone through the roof. Listen to
- 23:55Speaker 1: how they had reported on CNN when they were in
- 23:57Speaker 1: shock by this.
- 23:59Speaker 11: Other things that we should note, and I don't know
- 24:01Speaker 11: if we can show this number. I want to put
- 24:02Speaker 11: this up on screen. Latino voters have moved away from
- 24:06Speaker 11: Harris in Arizona. If you believe this New York Times poll,
- 24:10Speaker 11: her lead has shrunk by eleven points in that voting block.
- 24:13Speaker 11: It was she was at sixty percent in August, now
- 24:16Speaker 11: forty nine percent.
- 24:17Speaker 1: By the way, I love it that now when they
- 24:20Speaker 1: get a poll number they don't like. Did you notice
- 24:22Speaker 1: there that Jim Acossas said, if you believe the poll,
- 24:26Speaker 1: it's the it's the liberal New York Times. My producer
- 24:29Speaker 1: and I were laughing when we were getting ready for
- 24:31Speaker 1: the show today because it's like, wait a second, now,
- 24:34Speaker 1: CNN doesn't like the New York Times. Because the New
- 24:36Speaker 1: York Times has a poll that shows that Kamwa Rris
- 24:39Speaker 1: has dropped eleven percent among Latino voters in Arizona last month.
- 24:42Speaker 1: They're like, well, if you believe the poll, listen carefully
- 24:45Speaker 1: to his words here, he's now fact like, maybe you shouldn't,
- 24:48Speaker 1: Maybe you shouldn't believe the New York Timesers.
- 24:50Speaker 11: Have moved away from Harris in Arizona. If you believe
- 24:54Speaker 11: this New York Times poll, her lead has shrunk by
- 24:56Speaker 11: eleven points.
- 24:58Speaker 4: If you believe the New York Time.
- 25:00Speaker 1: So now the New York Times a liberal New York Times,
- 25:03Speaker 1: because it shows a massive drop in support among Latino
- 25:07Speaker 1: voters eleven point drop in Arizona the last month, they're now.
- 25:11Speaker 4: Saying, well, maybe maybe.
- 25:13Speaker 1: That's not true, right, may maybe that's not true. Kevin
- 25:19Speaker 1: O'Leary put it perfect when he said this last week,
- 25:22Speaker 1: guy from Shark Tank. Okay, he was on Fox and
- 25:26Speaker 1: when she was talking about her, you know, on the
- 25:28Speaker 1: her economic plan.
- 25:29Speaker 4: This is what he said.
- 25:31Speaker 9: Who is it who's better for the economy.
- 25:34Speaker 10: I don't know yet because I don't have any details
- 25:37Speaker 10: from Harris. She has been all sugar no protein. That's it,
- 25:42Speaker 10: and it's become a really big sticking point with investors.
- 25:45Speaker 10: We've got to remember, we have the largest economy on Earth.
- 25:47Speaker 11: Over eighty five percent.
- 25:49Speaker 10: Of our jobs are created by the private sector. Business
- 25:51Speaker 10: investors like me and leaders have to deal with who's ever.
- 25:54Speaker 4: In the White House in January.
- 25:56Speaker 10: So whoever ends up on the sixth of November is
- 25:58Speaker 10: the new mandate.
- 26:00Speaker 4: We'll have to deal with them. So we need data,
- 26:02Speaker 4: we need.
- 26:02Speaker 10: Policy, and I'm getting a little critical now because.
- 26:06Speaker 4: I don't have any.
- 26:07Speaker 10: So I need answers around taxation. For example, if you
- 26:10Speaker 10: tell me the taxes are going to be twenty eight
- 26:13Speaker 10: percent plus state taxes on corporations headquarters, I'll have to
- 26:17Speaker 10: worry that they moved to Ireland again, because we did
- 26:19Speaker 10: that to them ones and that didn't work out.
- 26:21Speaker 11: For us very well.
- 26:22Speaker 10: I really need to understand the idea of price controls
- 26:26Speaker 10: that didn't work in the seventies, it doesn't work anywhere
- 26:29Speaker 10: else on Earth. And this whole idea of taxing unrealized gains,
- 26:34Speaker 10: I mean that you got to remember the number one
- 26:36Speaker 10: export of America's the American dream. This is a two
- 26:39Speaker 10: hundred year old economy that's based on supporting entrepreneurship that
- 26:43Speaker 10: destroys capital formation. Those ideas are beyond non starters. They're crazy,
- 26:48Speaker 10: and so you have to get more details on that.
- 26:51Speaker 10: And I'd like her to sit down with a non
- 26:54Speaker 10: celebrity interviewer, a real reporter that asks her question that
- 27:00Speaker 10: follow on questions. This kumbay Us stuff with you know,
- 27:04Speaker 10: pictures of kids and everything. It's great and I get it,
- 27:07Speaker 10: and I'm not criticizing her for it because it's working
- 27:09Speaker 10: for in the polls. But now we need details and
- 27:12Speaker 10: we don't have any.
- 27:14Speaker 1: And we don't have any, and it may work with
- 27:16Speaker 1: the lowest common denominator voter. Which brings me back to
- 27:19Speaker 1: CNBC when they were talking about this interview that Kamala
- 27:23Speaker 1: Harris did, and it goes back to the communism aspect
- 27:27Speaker 1: of this.
- 27:27Speaker 4: Listen to the end of what they say there.
- 27:29Speaker 8: You know, the whole notion like, if your opponent is
- 27:33Speaker 8: painting you as a communist, maybe don't talk about phrase
- 27:36Speaker 8: controls and price gadging. Last time we did this in
- 27:39Speaker 8: the seventies, you know, when we had the last inflation
- 27:41Speaker 8: scare where Nixon put In took place price and wage controls.
- 27:45Speaker 8: I mean, there were all sorts of disruptions, including shortages.
- 27:48Speaker 8: It didn't end well, and even democratic economists yeah.
- 27:51Speaker 9: Say, I mean, I don't think there are many who
- 27:53Speaker 9: fully expect they are going to be price controls. By
- 27:55Speaker 9: the way, her opponent has also talked about some things.
- 27:57Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Look because by the way, I love how CNBC they're
- 28:02Speaker 1: like tries to get her carverer, Like, Wow, I don't
- 28:04Speaker 1: think there's gonna be price controls.
- 28:05Speaker 4: Then why would you advocate for it? Why would you
- 28:06Speaker 4: say you're going to do it?
- 28:08Speaker 1: And that's the media's still trying to cover for a
- 28:10Speaker 1: double's at least that guy there at CNBC.
- 28:13Speaker 4: But listen to the response here real quick.
- 28:15Speaker 8: Because people are feeling it, and because it probably pulls well,
- 28:17Speaker 8: and because people have had sticker shock.
- 28:21Speaker 4: And continue to do so, and so I get it.
- 28:23Speaker 8: You know, it's hard to silver bullet is really going
- 28:26Speaker 8: to be the FED right tightening, bringing inflation back down
- 28:29Speaker 8: and now preserving the job market. But that's that's hard
- 28:31Speaker 8: to explain. So people want a solution, go after the
- 28:34Speaker 8: greedy corporations. We're just we're all about the economics.
- 28:39Speaker 1: I got to say here, you listen to what they said.
- 28:43Speaker 1: And there's two takeaways from all this. Number one, for me,
- 28:50Speaker 1: it is scary as hell that we live in a
- 28:54Speaker 1: time now where there either is a fifty percent of
- 28:57Speaker 1: the country is so stupid. They don't understand communism and
- 29:00Speaker 1: what it is and price controls, and they don't understand
- 29:02Speaker 1: when they're just flat out being lied to, like that's
- 29:05Speaker 1: option number one, and there's.
- 29:08Speaker 4: There's option number two. Maybe we the Democrats have won.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Maybe they've won because they've figured out a way to
- 29:17Speaker 1: take over public education at every level and in one
- 29:21Speaker 1: generation they have allowed for just full blown communism to explode.
- 29:28Speaker 1: With this younger generation. It could be both of those
- 29:32Speaker 1: things combined that have now gotten us to where we
- 29:36Speaker 1: are at this exact moment, and it should scare the
- 29:39Speaker 1: hell out of everybody. But you you have a woman
- 29:42Speaker 1: now that no one voted for in Kamala Harris number one,
- 29:45Speaker 1: who is now giving.
- 29:47Speaker 4: You eighty what is it?
- 29:49Speaker 1: Two pages of total crap that is not a policy
- 29:55Speaker 1: on any issue. It's all generalities in Kumbaiiism. There's no
- 29:59Speaker 1: specific and they're passing it off as a policy. That's
- 30:03Speaker 1: not a policy, it's not even close to a policy.
- 30:10Speaker 4: And that is another problem.
- 30:13Speaker 1: Make sure you share this podcast with your family and
- 30:15Speaker 1: your friends, please, so people know what's going on with
- 30:17Speaker 1: Kamala Harris and this economic fake policy.
- 30:20Speaker 4: Without you, guys, people don't hear this show.
- 30:22Speaker 1: So thank you for listening and sharing it, and I'll
- 30:24Speaker 1: see it back here tomorrow
