- 0:01Speaker 1: The breaking news.
- 0:02Speaker 2: The House of Representative erupts in cheers and a pause
- 0:06Speaker 2: as President Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill officially passes. Congratulations
- 0:13Speaker 2: to President Donald Trump. And what is in this bill
- 0:16Speaker 2: is major things that is going to have a big
- 0:18Speaker 2: impact on the economy. For example, no tax on tips,
- 0:23Speaker 2: no tax on overtime, one hundred and seventy five billion
- 0:28Speaker 2: for deportations, as well as to finish the wall construction,
- 0:32Speaker 2: tax relief for seniors, and making his twenty seventeen tax
- 0:37Speaker 2: cuts permanent. It was announced by the Speaker of the House,
- 0:41Speaker 2: and here's what he had to say. And you'll hear
- 0:43Speaker 2: the applause from the members of the chamber on this vote,
- 0:47Speaker 2: the yaser two hundred and fifteen, the Naser two hundred fourteen,
- 0:51Speaker 2: with one answering present, the bill is passed.
- 1:02Speaker 3: You will sire, you will fare.
- 1:10Speaker 2: The chance of USA. Continue the clapping continue. The White
- 1:15Speaker 2: House coming out with a statement saying this quote, the
- 1:18Speaker 2: One Big Beautiful Bill has passed the House of Representatives.
- 1:22Speaker 2: This is arguably the most significant piece of legislation that
- 1:26Speaker 2: will ever be signed in the history of the country,
- 1:28Speaker 2: that coming from President Donald J.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Trump.
- 1:31Speaker 2: He then put out a true social statement, saying this,
- 1:34Speaker 2: the one big, beautiful bill is passed, and not only
- 1:37Speaker 2: is arguably the most significant piece of legislation that will
- 1:40Speaker 2: ever be signed in the history of our country, but
- 1:42Speaker 2: the bill includes massive tax cuts, no tax on tips,
- 1:46Speaker 2: no tax on overtime, the tax deductions when you purchase
- 1:50Speaker 2: an American made vehicle, along with strong border security measures,
- 1:54Speaker 2: pay raises for our ice and border patrol agents, funding
- 1:58Speaker 2: for the Golden Dome, Trump's savings, accounts for newborn babies,
- 2:03Speaker 2: and much more. Great job by Speaker Mike Johnson and
- 2:06Speaker 2: the House leadership. Trump went on to say, and thank
- 2:09Speaker 2: you to every Republican who voted yes on this historic bill.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Now it's time for our friends in the United States
- 2:17Speaker 2: Senate to get to work and send this bill to
- 2:19Speaker 2: my desk as soon as possible. There's no time to waste.
- 2:23Speaker 2: The Democrats have lost control of themselves and are aimlessly
- 2:26Speaker 2: wandering around showing no confidence, grit or determination. They have
- 2:31Speaker 2: forgotten their landslide losses in the President's election and are
- 2:34Speaker 2: warped in the past, hoping someday to revive open borders
- 2:39Speaker 2: for the world's criminals to be able to pour into
- 2:41Speaker 2: our country, men to be able to play in women's
- 2:44Speaker 2: sports and transgender for everybody.
- 2:47Speaker 1: They don't realize that.
- 2:48Speaker 2: These things and so many more like them, will never
- 2:52Speaker 2: happen again. That is the President's statement on all this. Now,
- 2:56Speaker 2: let's dive into some of the big things that are
- 2:57Speaker 2: going to affect you the most and have a major
- 3:00Speaker 2: impact on our economy. Number one is the no tax
- 3:04Speaker 2: on tips in overtime.
- 3:05Speaker 1: What is this going to do. It's going to increase
- 3:07Speaker 1: take home pay.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Workers in the service industries and hourly jobs are going
- 3:13Speaker 2: to benefit immediately. Why Because they're going to be able
- 3:16Speaker 2: to keep one hundred percent of their tips in overtime.
- 3:19Speaker 2: That's going to boost income without increasing labor costs for
- 3:24Speaker 2: the employers. So this is a win win for not
- 3:27Speaker 2: only those that are hiring and the employers, but also
- 3:31Speaker 2: for the employees.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Another way of looking at it is this it's a.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Great way to have an instant pay raise without it
- 3:37Speaker 2: actually negatively hurting the economy or small businesses. They're also
- 3:42Speaker 2: going to simplify the tax filings. This is huge because
- 3:46Speaker 2: it allowed for more Americans to be able to just
- 3:48Speaker 2: get their tax dollars back quickly, and it will reduce
- 3:51Speaker 2: complexity for both employees and the irs, lowering the cost
- 3:55Speaker 2: to run a business. Specifically for employers. There's also longer
- 4:00Speaker 2: incentives for working extra hours or in another way of
- 4:04Speaker 2: putting it, working extra hard to provide for yourself and
- 4:07Speaker 2: your family. It's encouraging productivity and rewarding productivity is how
- 4:12Speaker 2: the White House described it, and helping businesses meet demand
- 4:15Speaker 2: with more willing to work in those overtime hours. Now
- 4:21Speaker 2: let's move from there to the one hundred and seventy
- 4:23Speaker 2: five billion dollars for deportations as well as the border
- 4:27Speaker 2: wall funding. You know that border security is one of
- 4:30Speaker 2: the top priorities of President Donald Trump. Well, now we
- 4:33Speaker 2: have the money needed, as Tom Homan describe it, to
- 4:36Speaker 2: get the job done.
- 4:37Speaker 1: And what the border security.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Is going to do with this money is well, it's
- 4:41Speaker 2: going to have.
- 4:41Speaker 1: The issue of reinforcement.
- 4:43Speaker 2: It will not only they say one, boost enforcement, but
- 4:46Speaker 2: also technology and infrastructure at the southern border, which supporters
- 4:51Speaker 2: are arguing will reduce illegal immigration even more. It's also
- 4:54Speaker 2: going to help stop drug trafficking in the feedanal trade
- 4:58Speaker 2: and the multi billion do industry of human smuggling, so
- 5:03Speaker 2: that is again part of this bill. It will also
- 5:05Speaker 2: have as they described it as a deterrent effect. A
- 5:08Speaker 2: large scale investment is sitting a very strong signal that
- 5:12Speaker 2: immigration laws are actually going to be enforced and strictly
- 5:16Speaker 2: enforced at that.
- 5:17Speaker 1: We know this from the Trump administration.
- 5:20Speaker 2: There's also what they describe as job protection as well
- 5:23Speaker 2: from this money that will be spent. Why, well, it
- 5:27Speaker 2: is seen by the Trump administration as a way to
- 5:29Speaker 2: quote protect low skilled American jobs from being undercut by
- 5:34Speaker 2: undocumented labor and millions and millions of them with a
- 5:37Speaker 2: race to the bottom that will help more Americans than
- 5:40Speaker 2: ever before. And then let's talk about seniors for a second.
- 5:44Speaker 2: This is something else that the President was really focused on.
- 5:47Speaker 2: He wants there to be real tax relief for our
- 5:50Speaker 2: seniors that are just trying to live a comfortable retirement
- 5:54Speaker 2: without having to worry every single month. Well, higher disposable income.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Why because it reduces the financial burden on retirees, especially
- 6:02Speaker 2: those living unfixed incomes. There's also greater economic participation, the
- 6:07Speaker 2: White House says, as seniors may have more freedom to spend,
- 6:09Speaker 2: invest or support family members because of the tax relief
- 6:13Speaker 2: that they're specifically putting in there for as senior citizens.
- 6:17Speaker 2: And then There's also the healthcare costs buffer, which is
- 6:20Speaker 2: the number one reason why seniors have financial problems later
- 6:23Speaker 2: than life.
- 6:24Speaker 1: It is easier, they say.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Now, to manage out of pocket medical expenses or rising
- 6:30Speaker 2: living costs. So they're trying to protect seniors in this country.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Now.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Part of this bill, and the big part, which is
- 6:37Speaker 2: going to be monumental, is making the twenty seventeen Trump
- 6:41Speaker 2: tax cuts permanent. This is giving certainty for families and
- 6:47Speaker 2: for businesses. The long term planning is easier when the
- 6:51Speaker 2: tax rates are locked in, and what the President said
- 6:54Speaker 2: is you're not going to be forgotten.
- 6:55Speaker 1: These tax rates were important to lock in.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Otherwise we're going to have the largest taxing cut increase
- 7:00Speaker 2: in our country's history. It was going to decimate the
- 7:03Speaker 2: middle class, and it was going to be brutal on
- 7:05Speaker 2: our not only on our economy, but also those at
- 7:08Speaker 2: higher This is now going to be locked in with
- 7:11Speaker 2: us twenty seventeen rates that you're used to. It's also
- 7:14Speaker 2: going to lower the individual tax rates that have continued
- 7:18Speaker 2: for middle class earners to keep more of their paycheck.
- 7:22Speaker 2: So if you're a middle class American, you're going to
- 7:24Speaker 2: keep more of your money because of this big beautiful bill.
- 7:28Speaker 2: There's also major support for small businesses. Pass Through entities
- 7:33Speaker 2: like LLCs and es corps are going to continue to benefit,
- 7:36Speaker 2: the White House says, from deductions spurring entrepreneurship and growth.
- 7:41Speaker 2: There's also investment and growth incentives as well. Lower tax as,
- 7:46Speaker 2: the White House says on capital gains and corporate income
- 7:49Speaker 2: are seen as pro business, potentially driving job creation and
- 7:54Speaker 2: market performance to new levels. Now, the overall positives on
- 7:58Speaker 2: this are this an economic boost.
- 8:01Speaker 1: There's going to be more money in consumers.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Pockets that can lead to higher spending and economic activity.
- 8:06Speaker 1: It is a pro worker bill.
- 8:09Speaker 2: The bill positions itself as rewarding hard works, tips, overtime,
- 8:13Speaker 2: and protecting American jobs. And then there's the long term
- 8:17Speaker 2: structural changes. By locking in the tax policy and beefing
- 8:22Speaker 2: up immigration enforcement, the White House views this is fulfilling
- 8:26Speaker 2: their long promise reforms that put American workers first, American
- 8:30Speaker 2: middle class workers first, and making sure they're not under
- 8:34Speaker 2: being undercut by illegal immigrants. This is, in fact, a
- 8:38Speaker 2: big beautiful bill.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Now.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Speaker Johnson just released a statement on the House passage
- 8:44Speaker 2: of the one Big Beautiful Bill. You heard him earlier,
- 8:47Speaker 2: but I want you to hear what he said quote.
- 8:48Speaker 2: The media and the Democrats have consistently dismissed any possibility
- 8:53Speaker 2: of House Republicans succeeding in our mission to an act
- 8:55Speaker 2: President Trump's America First Agenda.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Once again, they have been proven wrong.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Today, the House has passed generational nation shaping legislation that
- 9:05Speaker 2: reduces spending permanently, lowers taxes for families and job creators,
- 9:10Speaker 2: secures the border, unleashes American energy dominance, restores peace through strength,
- 9:16Speaker 2: and makes government work more efficient and effective for all Americans.
- 9:21Speaker 2: House Democrats vote against all of it, which clearly proves
- 9:24Speaker 2: they want tax hikes on their constituents, open borders, and
- 9:28Speaker 2: medicaid for legal immigrants. We look forward to the Senate's
- 9:32Speaker 2: timely consideration of this once in a generation legislation and
- 9:36Speaker 2: stand ready to continue our work together to deliver the
- 9:39Speaker 2: one big, beautiful bill to the President's desk that coming
- 9:43Speaker 2: from Speaker Johnson.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Let me tell you about Patriot Mobile real quick.
- 9:47Speaker 2: If you've got a cell phone and your cell phone
- 9:50Speaker 2: is not with Patriot Mobile, then the question I'm going
- 9:53Speaker 2: to ask you is why why have you not made
- 9:56Speaker 2: the switch? Well, you should make the switch. In the
- 9:59Speaker 2: deal is really easy. You get cutting edge technology. Switching
- 10:04Speaker 2: has never been easier. There's no store visits, no hassles.
- 10:07Speaker 2: You get to keep your same phone number you have
- 10:09Speaker 2: right now. You get to keep your same phone you've
- 10:11Speaker 2: got now, or upgrade to a new one. And they
- 10:13Speaker 2: have a one hundred percent US based team that can
- 10:16Speaker 2: activate you literally in minutes. The other thing that I
- 10:19Speaker 2: love about Patriot Mobile is this they have access to
- 10:23Speaker 2: all three major networks, meaning you get exceptional nationwide coverage.
- 10:28Speaker 1: I use Patriot Mobile and half for years.
- 10:30Speaker 2: They can even put a second number on a different
- 10:34Speaker 2: network on your phone. It's like carrying two phones in one.
- 10:38Speaker 2: You can have a work number and a personal number.
- 10:41Speaker 2: It's amazing. They have unlimited data plans, mobile hotspots, international roaming,
- 10:47Speaker 2: Internet on the go devices, and home internet backup as well.
- 10:51Speaker 2: You can get all of this from Patriot Mobile. So
- 10:54Speaker 2: why are you waiting? Make the switch today? And by
- 10:58Speaker 2: the way, when you pay your bill, you know that
- 11:00Speaker 2: about five percent of that bill every month is going
- 11:02Speaker 2: back to support conservative causes. Causes that stand for our
- 11:06Speaker 2: First and or Second Amendment rights, the rights of unborn children,
- 11:10Speaker 2: and they stand with our veterans, our first responders, our
- 11:13Speaker 2: police and firemen, are EMTs and our wounded warriors.
- 11:17Speaker 1: So make a difference with every call you make.
- 11:19Speaker 2: So right now, go to Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson
- 11:25Speaker 2: or call them nine to seven to two Patriot. You're
- 11:28Speaker 2: going to get a free month of service with the
- 11:30Speaker 2: promo code ferguson. So switch to Patriot Mobile and make
- 11:33Speaker 2: a difference with every call you make. Patriot Mobile dot
- 11:36Speaker 2: com slash ferguson or nine seven to two Patriot.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Now, there was some.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Controversy, by the way, with this bill, with two Republicans
- 11:45Speaker 2: that were holdouts. You had Congressman Massing and Congressman Davison.
- 11:50Speaker 2: The White House Press Sancretary was asked about those two
- 11:53Speaker 2: Republicans not voting in favor of the big beautiful bill.
- 11:57Speaker 2: It was pretty clear that Donald Trump has a on
- 12:00Speaker 2: these two congressmen. Now, and here's what the White House
- 12:02Speaker 2: had to say about it.
- 12:04Speaker 4: You had two Republicans last night that voted against this bill,
- 12:07Speaker 4: Congressman Massey and Davidson.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Does the President think that they should be primary?
- 12:11Speaker 5: I believe he does, and I don't think he likes
- 12:13Speaker 5: to see grandstanders in Congress.
- 12:15Speaker 1: What's the alternative.
- 12:16Speaker 5: I would ask those members of Congress did they want
- 12:18Speaker 5: to see a tax hike? Did they want to see
- 12:20Speaker 5: our country go bankrupt? That's the alternative by them trying
- 12:23Speaker 5: to vote no. And the President believes the Republican Party
- 12:26Speaker 5: needs to be unified, and the vast majority of Republicans
- 12:29Speaker 5: clearly are and are listening to the President. They are
- 12:32Speaker 5: trusting in President Trump as they should because there's a
- 12:35Speaker 5: reason he's sitting in this oval office. It's because he's
- 12:37Speaker 5: the unequivocal leader of the Republican Party, not just a
- 12:41Speaker 5: president for Republicans, but all Americans. The President's approval rating
- 12:44Speaker 5: is at an all time high right now. It's because
- 12:47Speaker 5: he knows how to deliver in Republicans like Thomas Massey
- 12:51Speaker 5: and others should take note.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Now.
- 12:53Speaker 2: That was clearly the warning from the White House. Massey
- 12:56Speaker 2: took to the floor of Congress and here is what
- 12:59Speaker 2: Tom I had to say about his reason for voting no.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Listen carefully, gentlemen from Kentucky's recognized for ninety seconds.
- 13:09Speaker 6: We'd love to stand here and tell the American people,
- 13:11Speaker 6: we can cut you our taxes and we can increase spending,
- 13:14Speaker 6: and everything's going to be just fine. But I can't
- 13:17Speaker 6: do that because I'm here to deliver a dose of reality.
- 13:21Speaker 6: This bill dramatically increases deficits in the near term, but
- 13:25Speaker 6: promises our government will be fiscally responsible five years from now.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Where have we heard that before?
- 13:31Speaker 6: How do you bind a future Congress to these promises?
- 13:34Speaker 6: This bill is a debt bomb ticking. Congress can do
- 13:38Speaker 6: funny math, fantasy math if it wants, but bond investors don't.
- 13:43Speaker 1: And this week they sent us a message.
- 13:46Speaker 6: Moodies downgraded our credit rating, and the bond investors who
- 13:49Speaker 6: buy our debt and finance our debt demanded higher interest
- 13:53Speaker 6: rates on the ten year note, the twenty year note,
- 13:56Speaker 6: and the thirty year note. What does this mean? Very
- 13:59Speaker 6: soon the government will be paying sixteen thousand dollars of
- 14:02Speaker 6: interest interest alone per us family.
- 14:06Speaker 1: And what are we telling him?
- 14:08Speaker 6: Instead of taking care of that problem, We're gonna give
- 14:10Speaker 6: you a sixteen hundred dollars tax break. Under the taxing
- 14:15Speaker 6: and spending levels in this bill, we're going to rack
- 14:18Speaker 6: up the author say twenty trillion dollars of new debt
- 14:22Speaker 6: over the next ten years. I'm telling you it's closer
- 14:24Speaker 6: to thirty trillion. Dollars of new debt in the next
- 14:26Speaker 6: ten years. Mister speaker, We're not rearranging deck chairs on
- 14:31Speaker 6: the Titanic tonight. We're putting coal into boiler and setting
- 14:35Speaker 6: a course for the iceberg.
- 14:38Speaker 1: If something is.
- 14:40Speaker 6: If something is beautiful, if something is beautiful, you don't
- 14:45Speaker 6: do it after midnight.
- 14:47Speaker 1: I pose this villain time has expired.
- 14:50Speaker 2: By the way, those that are clapping were the Democrats
- 14:53Speaker 2: on the Democratic side of the aisle, Thomas Massey saying
- 14:57Speaker 2: I stand here and tell the American we can't cut
- 15:00Speaker 2: your text and increased spinning and everything will be fine.
- 15:03Speaker 2: Digging in White House making it clear we're more than
- 15:06Speaker 2: happy to find somebody to primary you, and clearly the
- 15:09Speaker 2: presidents willing to roll up his sleeves and get involved
- 15:12Speaker 2: in the primary part of all of this.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Now, I also want to play for you.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Steve Moore, he's an economist, you know him for Fox
- 15:18Speaker 2: News Channel.
- 15:18Speaker 1: He had something very interesting to say on.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Fox today about this bill and what it means not
- 15:23Speaker 2: only for the president but for the country.
- 15:25Speaker 7: All Right, the Houses passed Trump's big beautiful bill. It
- 15:28Speaker 7: happened earlier today and now joining us with reaction. Steve
- 15:30Speaker 7: Moore Unleash Prosperity co founder and Lou Bassanie, a Prairie
- 15:34Speaker 7: operating company's executive vice president of Marcut Strategy.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Welcome to you both.
- 15:38Speaker 7: First, Steve, your reaction to that and where this goes next.
- 15:44Speaker 8: Well, this was a huge, huge victory for Trump. I
- 15:47Speaker 8: think there were really three heroes here. Obviously President Trump, who,
- 15:51Speaker 8: as you know Sandra went over to the House and
- 15:54Speaker 8: made the final pitch for this and got the final votes.
- 15:57Speaker 8: And then Mike Johnson, who has almost impossible of course,
- 16:00Speaker 8: he's the Speaker of the House. I don't know how
- 16:02Speaker 8: he did it, but he somehow sits together two hundred
- 16:05Speaker 8: and eighteen votes for this, and I think it was
- 16:08Speaker 8: a one vote majority that they were able to get.
- 16:10Speaker 1: It wouldn't have happened without him.
- 16:12Speaker 8: And then I have to say, Chip Roy, who you
- 16:14Speaker 8: may recall Sandra raised some objections to the bill last
- 16:17Speaker 8: week and I hapen to agree with some of those objections,
- 16:20Speaker 8: and you know what, they made it into a better bill.
- 16:23Speaker 1: And so now this goes to the Senate.
- 16:24Speaker 8: I think the Senate will act sometime before fourth of July.
- 16:28Speaker 8: And I agree, we got to get this thing on
- 16:30Speaker 8: the desk of the President. As quickly as possible. I
- 16:33Speaker 8: think it'll be very positive for the economy and the
- 16:35Speaker 8: stock market.
- 16:36Speaker 1: You listen to.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Steve Moore there in what he says, and he's absolutely right, Like,
- 16:40Speaker 2: this is going to have a huge impact on our economy.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Everyone knows it, that's involved in it.
- 16:46Speaker 2: The President had a really tough job here keeping this
- 16:49Speaker 2: together with a slim margin in the House. He said
- 16:52Speaker 2: that the other day when he was on Capitol Hill
- 16:53Speaker 2: meeting with members of Congress, and this was his warning,
- 16:57Speaker 2: by the way, on a couple holdouts at the time.
- 17:00Speaker 9: Look, the alternative is a sixty eight percent tax increase,
- 17:04Speaker 9: and you can blame the.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Democrats for that. Edward or two.
- 17:07Speaker 9: Brin said, this really have Waterton, but we have not
- 17:10Speaker 9: tremendous support. But you'll have a sixty eight percent tax increase,
- 17:16Speaker 9: or you'll get a massive tax increase. You'll get a
- 17:20Speaker 9: tax cut the likes of which we've never had to book.
- 17:23Speaker 9: This is bigger than any Ronald Reagan tax cut. It's
- 17:26Speaker 9: even bigger than the tax cut that.
- 17:29Speaker 1: I gave, because as you know, that's being extended and increased.
- 17:32Speaker 9: So this is the biggest tax cut in the history
- 17:34Speaker 9: of our country or you'll get a sixty eight percent
- 17:38Speaker 9: tax increase.
- 17:39Speaker 2: Now, when you think about the numbers the President just
- 17:41Speaker 2: gave there, this was not only a huge success for
- 17:44Speaker 2: the American people.
- 17:46Speaker 1: But a moment where if it.
- 17:49Speaker 2: Didn't happen, the taxes on everyday Americans were going to skyrocket.
- 17:54Speaker 2: I also got to give a lot of credit here
- 17:56Speaker 2: to Mike Johnson. Mike Johnson and what he did to
- 18:01Speaker 2: get this across the finish line.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Hurting cats is the.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Best way I can describe it is incredible. He could
- 18:07Speaker 2: only lose a couple and sure enough he did, and
- 18:10Speaker 2: he was able to do it with the President's help.
- 18:13Speaker 2: But if you want to know who the biggest bad
- 18:15Speaker 2: a is in Washington right now, it is no doubt
- 18:19Speaker 2: that it's Speaker Johnson. Joe Kanca on Fox said this,
- 18:23Speaker 2: take a listen.
- 18:24Speaker 10: And right now, the MVP right in Washington for Donald
- 18:27Speaker 10: Trump is Mike Johnson. Because he is hurting cats right
- 18:31Speaker 10: where he has almost no majority, and he's been able
- 18:35Speaker 10: to pass some things already. If he could get this
- 18:37Speaker 10: thing through, get it to the Senate, get it through reconciliation,
- 18:40Speaker 10: House and Senate kind of you know, go back and forth,
- 18:42Speaker 10: and it gets to the President's desk, and this thing passes,
- 18:45Speaker 10: this big, beautiful bill with all these.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Tax cuts that are in here.
- 18:48Speaker 10: Democrats had nothing to run on in twenty twenty six.
- 18:52Speaker 10: They can't run on foreign policy, they can't run on
- 18:54Speaker 10: the border, and they can't run on the economy. So
- 18:56Speaker 10: if that happens, trust me, Mike Johnson is your MVP.
- 18:59Speaker 11: Right, Yeah, well he sounds pretty confident.
- 19:01Speaker 7: We'll see what he does.
- 19:03Speaker 1: He is the MVP he is, and he got this
- 19:06Speaker 1: thing done.
- 19:06Speaker 2: And for anyone that's been criticizing Mike Johnson, you're just wrong,
- 19:11Speaker 2: all right, like you are just wrong.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Mike Johnson did one hell of a job here.
- 19:17Speaker 2: Steve Scalise also talking about this bill getting passed.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Here is what he had to say.
- 19:22Speaker 4: Track again, But we were never deterred when this bill
- 19:26Speaker 4: could have failed ten times over. We said we were
- 19:30Speaker 4: going to get this done and failure is not an option,
- 19:33Speaker 4: and we meant it. We knew we were fighting for
- 19:36Speaker 4: the families who had been struggling for way too long
- 19:39Speaker 4: under the failed policies of Joe Biden and all the
- 19:43Speaker 4: Democrats who did have control of Washington for too long.
- 19:46Speaker 4: We watched higher interest rates and higher inflation and lower
- 19:50Speaker 4: wages and a demise of the American dream that we
- 19:55Speaker 4: knew should not be permanent, but was only going to
- 19:58Speaker 4: turn around if we passed a bill to get.
- 20:01Speaker 1: America back on track.
- 20:03Speaker 4: We knew we had to prevent a massive tax increase,
- 20:06Speaker 4: so we put it in the bill. We knew we
- 20:08Speaker 4: needed to secure America's border, as President Trump ran on
- 20:13Speaker 4: all across this country and won the election on and
- 20:16Speaker 4: we put it in this bill. We ran on and
- 20:19Speaker 4: said we would produce more American energy, and.
- 20:23Speaker 1: We put it in this bill. All the things that.
- 20:27Speaker 4: We knew we needed to do to root at waste,
- 20:29Speaker 4: fraud and abuse, and government focus on those families who
- 20:33Speaker 4: were struggling.
- 20:34Speaker 1: All of that is in this one big, beautiful bill.
- 20:37Speaker 4: And yes, now the House has come together and passed
- 20:41Speaker 4: this bill against all odds, but we're still working on
- 20:46Speaker 4: the rest of the process still goes to the Senate.
- 20:49Speaker 4: Senate has a lot of work to do too. That's
- 20:51Speaker 4: why we've been talking to the Senate for a long time.
- 20:54Speaker 4: But it's their turn to take this bill and move forward.
- 20:57Speaker 4: But I'll tell you, none of this would be possible
- 20:59Speaker 4: without the leadership for President Trump, who every step of
- 21:03Speaker 4: the way, not only laid out the vision, ran a
- 21:07Speaker 4: campaign on this vision, but every step of the way too,
- 21:10Speaker 4: said whatever you need, let me know.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Steve Salice, the House Majority leader, saying whatever you need,
- 21:17Speaker 2: We're on board with this.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Backing the president.
- 21:20Speaker 2: A major victory for America and American families. Well done
- 21:24Speaker 2: by the housekins done. Now it's going to move on
- 21:26Speaker 2: to the Senate. I want to move to another story,
- 21:30Speaker 2: and this one is obviously a tragic story, a shooting
- 21:33Speaker 2: that occurred outside the Capitol Jewish Museum in Washington, d C.
- 21:38Speaker 2: I was literally in front of this building just a
- 21:41Speaker 2: few days ago when I was in DC and had
- 21:44Speaker 2: been to Evince there as well, which is I think
- 21:46Speaker 2: the most surreal and shocking part of this anti Semitic killing.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Clearly that's what it was.
- 21:52Speaker 2: What's even more discussing is the fact that Democrats are
- 21:56Speaker 2: refusing to condemn the deaths of these two Israeli Embassy
- 22:00Speaker 2: staff members. The couple had just attended a young diplomat's
- 22:05Speaker 2: reception hosted by the American Jewish Committee. They were leaving
- 22:11Speaker 2: the event around nine h eight pm Eastern. The suspect,
- 22:15Speaker 2: a thirty year old from Chicago, approached a group of
- 22:18Speaker 2: four individuals and opened fire with a handgun, faintly wounding
- 22:23Speaker 2: two of those that he was targeting.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Rodriguez.
- 22:27Speaker 2: The shooter was observed pacing outside the museum prior to
- 22:31Speaker 2: the attack, and after the shooting, he entered the museum
- 22:33Speaker 2: appearing distressed, leading bystanders to initially mistake him for a victim.
- 22:40Speaker 2: He was even given water and comforted until he revealed
- 22:44Speaker 2: himself as the shooter, at which point he was attained
- 22:48Speaker 2: by security personnel. Now, during the arrests, the individual shouted, free,
- 22:53Speaker 2: free Palestine.
- 22:56Speaker 1: I did this for Gaza, is what he said. Now.
- 22:59Speaker 2: The victims were a couple in their late twenties. They
- 23:03Speaker 2: worked in the embassy's political department and in public diplomacy.
- 23:09Speaker 2: They were actually planning to become engaged during an upcoming
- 23:12Speaker 2: trip days away in Jerusalem, and apparently he had already
- 23:16Speaker 2: bought the ring. Authorities are investigating the incident as a
- 23:20Speaker 2: targeted act of violence with potential hate crimes implications, as
- 23:24Speaker 2: it should. The FBI and local law enforcement are examining
- 23:28Speaker 2: the man's background, including his online activities and any possible
- 23:32Speaker 2: connections to extremist group. Now, the attack has widely been
- 23:36Speaker 2: condemned by leaders in the United States and Israel. President
- 23:40Speaker 2: Trump described the killings as based obviously on anti Semitism
- 23:43Speaker 2: quote unquote, and called for an end to such hatred.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Israel's Prime Minister.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Net Yahoo also denounced the act, linking it to the
- 23:52Speaker 2: rise of anti Semitic sentiment and ordering increased security at
- 23:58Speaker 2: Israeli diplomatic missions worldwide. Now, this incident has also heightened
- 24:04Speaker 2: concerns about the safety of Jewish communities and institutions in
- 24:07Speaker 2: this country, as we are witnessing anti Semitic rhetoric and
- 24:11Speaker 2: violence that is spilling out. What's even I think more
- 24:14Speaker 2: damning to the Democratic Party and there should be no
- 24:18Speaker 2: place for this in the Democratic Party. Yet there is
- 24:20Speaker 2: is the fact that Elama Mar of the Democratic Party
- 24:23Speaker 2: refuse to condemn the killing of the Israeli diplomats. It
- 24:27Speaker 2: is despicable, is how the White House described it.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Take a listen to this.
- 24:31Speaker 5: I do you or President tomp have a message to
- 24:34Speaker 5: politicians like Ilhan Omar who believe this morning explicitly avoided
- 24:38Speaker 5: condemning this active terror. It's despicable and frankly, we have
- 24:43Speaker 5: seen a rise in anti Semitic protests of pro Hamas
- 24:50Speaker 5: protests of terrorist sympathizers. We saw them on our college campuses,
- 24:55Speaker 5: and we've seen the Democrat Party turn a blind eye
- 24:59Speaker 5: and in some cases actually embrace such anti Semitic illegal behavior.
- 25:03Speaker 5: And that's why this administration has done more than any
- 25:06Speaker 5: administration in history to crack.
- 25:08Speaker 1: Down on anti Semitism.
- 25:09Speaker 5: As you know, in January when the President took office,
- 25:12Speaker 5: he signed a new executive order to combat anti Semitism.
- 25:14Speaker 5: He created a commission focused on doing just that. The
- 25:18Speaker 5: Justice Department announced their task force as well. The Secretary
- 25:22Speaker 5: of State Marco Rubio, has revoked thousands of student visas
- 25:26Speaker 5: from campuses where these pro palace pro Hamas, terrorist campus
- 25:31Speaker 5: agitators and violent protests took place. And we've also withheld
- 25:36Speaker 5: funding from those veried campuses as well in an effort
- 25:39Speaker 5: to combat anti Semitism. So the President's made it very
- 25:41Speaker 5: clear that such hatred will have no place.
- 25:44Speaker 1: In our country. I love how clear the White House
- 25:46Speaker 1: is on this one.
- 25:47Speaker 2: I also want to play for you, and we now
- 25:49Speaker 2: have word the FBI's investigate in the DC shooting is
- 25:52Speaker 2: an act of targeted violence, is how they've described it
- 25:54Speaker 2: so far.
- 25:55Speaker 1: After this young Jewish couple is brutally murdered.
- 25:59Speaker 2: But I want you to year what was also said
- 26:02Speaker 2: on CNN.
- 26:03Speaker 1: CNN apparently their main worry.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Isn't the safety of Jews, it's how the backlash might
- 26:09Speaker 2: affect anti Israel protesters. Yes, that's their actual angle on
- 26:14Speaker 2: this and the FBI investigation, as they had a witness
- 26:18Speaker 2: that was there. They had them on TV this morning,
- 26:21Speaker 2: and again I want you to hear their narrative. It's
- 26:24Speaker 2: very clear their main worry is not the safety of Jews.
- 26:29Speaker 2: After two Jewish individuals, this couple was brutally murdered, they're
- 26:34Speaker 2: worried how the backlash might affect anti Israel protesters, the
- 26:39Speaker 2: same ones calling for the death of Jewish people, the
- 26:41Speaker 2: death of Israel from the river to the sea.
- 26:44Speaker 1: We've seen this on college campuses.
- 26:46Speaker 2: You cannot hide this level of anti semitism here, it
- 26:49Speaker 2: is in real life on CNN.
- 26:51Speaker 11: As you go forward, as you go forward with what
- 26:54Speaker 11: you have seen, can you give us any sense because
- 26:57Speaker 11: you said you look the shooter in the eyes, can
- 26:59Speaker 11: you give us any sense of what you saw in
- 27:01Speaker 11: him as he was sort of getting help and people
- 27:06Speaker 11: were tending to him as if he too was a
- 27:09Speaker 11: victim of seeing this.
- 27:11Speaker 1: Yeah, it would be clear.
- 27:12Speaker 12: I like heard about that part because we were in
- 27:14Speaker 12: the secure room when he initially walked in. I just
- 27:16Speaker 12: saw him screaming and then being handcuffed. But what I
- 27:20Speaker 12: saw in his eyes, I mean, I went to Columbia
- 27:22Speaker 12: for grads.
- 27:23Speaker 3: Go on.
- 27:23Speaker 12: I saw the same thing in his eyes as I
- 27:25Speaker 12: saw in the eyes of all the protesters at Columbia.
- 27:27Speaker 12: Nothing different between him and them.
- 27:31Speaker 11: But they did not create this horrific shooting. They did not,
- 27:36Speaker 11: you know, sort of, they didn't shoot.
- 27:40Speaker 1: They created. They gave permission. They gave the permission.
- 27:44Speaker 12: They have called for this, They have called for it
- 27:46Speaker 12: to fought a revolution, which is the same thing he
- 27:48Speaker 12: yelled last night.
- 27:50Speaker 11: Do you worry that there will be a come conslation though,
- 27:54Speaker 11: of the two, those people who are speaking their mind,
- 27:56Speaker 11: who really care about what is happening in Gaza, and
- 28:00Speaker 11: those people who are like this person who did this
- 28:03Speaker 11: horrific shooting, who intend to do harm a conflation.
- 28:09Speaker 12: I mean, they are calling for intifada at Columbia University.
- 28:12Speaker 12: They call for intifada constantly. Now they're not quietly, they're loud.
- 28:16Speaker 12: They're loud. You can hear it. They make recordings of themselves.
- 28:18Speaker 12: So what's the difference. Are you afraid? Yes, what We're
- 28:25Speaker 12: all afraid. Everyone should be afraid.
- 28:29Speaker 11: What are you doing to try to make yourself feel safer?
- 28:34Speaker 12: Well, can't you just go on and live your life?
- 28:37Speaker 12: I'm a New Yorker, I remember nine to eleven. You
- 28:39Speaker 12: can't let them make you be afraid.
- 28:41Speaker 1: You have to go on.
- 28:41Speaker 12: You have to live your life and hopefully your government
- 28:44Speaker 12: does things to protect you. Last night, our government failed us.
- 28:50Speaker 11: Jonathan Epstein. I know that they are going forward with this.
- 28:53Speaker 11: There is expected to be charges in this case. We
- 28:56Speaker 11: will see what happens, but I know you'll be watching
- 28:58Speaker 11: and we'll talk to you again as this goes forward.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Thank you so much. I'm sorry that you have to
- 29:01Speaker 1: witness what you did.
- 29:03Speaker 2: I mean, it is shocking to hear CNN do this
- 29:06Speaker 2: interview this way where they're like, well, aren't you worried
- 29:09Speaker 2: about you know, what's going to happen to the protesters
- 29:13Speaker 2: and their ability to like what world are you living in?
- 29:17Speaker 2: And he's right. At Columbia University, they were calling for evatada.
- 29:19Speaker 2: They were calling for the death of Jewish students in
- 29:24Speaker 2: pr This is what they had in their article, for example,
- 29:27Speaker 2: and this is absolutely an excusable anti Semitic behavior by NPR.
- 29:32Speaker 2: This is the reason why I'm in favor of defunding
- 29:33Speaker 2: NPR as soon as we possibly can. Their headline was,
- 29:37Speaker 2: here's what we know about the two Israeli embassy staffers
- 29:40Speaker 2: killed in Washington, d C. Then in their second paragraph,
- 29:44Speaker 2: it says, and more notably, as Israel ramps up it's
- 29:48Speaker 2: offensive in Gaza, where the risk of famine looms for
- 29:52Speaker 2: a population ground down by a month's long blockade. That's
- 29:59Speaker 2: what they wrote in the second paragraph, right, like justifying
- 30:07Speaker 2: is what they're doing. They're justifying these types of attacks.
- 30:12Speaker 2: This is in PR in their own words, they're saying, yeah, well,
- 30:18Speaker 2: you got to understand why this has happened, right, I mean,
- 30:20Speaker 2: you look at defunding MPR. The American Jewish community is
- 30:24Speaker 2: not a pro Israel advocacy group is another way of
- 30:27Speaker 2: describing it. In this article, is an American Jewish community group.
- 30:30Speaker 2: They know what they're doing with their lies. And here's
- 30:33Speaker 2: their headline to Israeli embassy aids are killed in a
- 30:36Speaker 2: shooting in DC. Officials say, okay, so then you move
- 30:39Speaker 2: the second part quote shortly after nine pm, as an
- 30:43Speaker 2: event by the Pro Israel Advocacy Group American Jewish Community
- 30:47Speaker 2: wrapped up at a local Jewish museum in downtown DC,
- 30:50Speaker 2: A man was observed pacing back and forth outside of
- 30:54Speaker 2: the building.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Metropolden police chief said, so, now, if.
- 30:57Speaker 2: You're Jewish and you go to a Jewish event, you're
- 31:00Speaker 2: like a pro Israel advocacy group.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Are you insane?
- 31:02Speaker 2: That's like, so if I'm an American and I go
- 31:05Speaker 2: to Fourth of July event, that what does that label
- 31:07Speaker 2: mean now? As it is insanity what we are witnessing
- 31:11Speaker 2: right now, it is total insanity. I got something really
- 31:16Speaker 2: fun that we get to do. And if you've got family, kids, grandkids,
- 31:20Speaker 2: and you love going to a great movie, there is
- 31:24Speaker 2: one called The Last Rodeo. It is starring a phenomenal
- 31:29Speaker 2: actor Neil McDonough. It is in theaters tomorrow and The
- 31:33Speaker 2: Last Rodeo celebrates the inspiring story of a veteran PBR
- 31:37Speaker 2: champion who returns to bull riding in his old age
- 31:40Speaker 2: to save the life of his grandson. It features real
- 31:44Speaker 2: life PBR stars as well. Neil, I appreciate you coming on.
- 31:48Speaker 2: A lot of people I know get excited because I
- 31:50Speaker 2: see you in things like Yellowstone and Tulsa King you
- 31:53Speaker 2: just sort filming that today.
- 31:55Speaker 1: But this movie Last, the Last Rodeo.
- 31:57Speaker 2: We're gonna give away some tickets in the moment, so
- 32:00Speaker 2: stay tuned for that, everybody. But you're really excited about
- 32:03Speaker 2: this film coming out.
- 32:05Speaker 3: I'm so excited about it, and Ben, thanks for having
- 32:07Speaker 3: me on your show first and foremost. But this is
- 32:10Speaker 3: one of those shows that's kind of the culmination of
- 32:12Speaker 3: everything I've worked towards in my whole career to be
- 32:14Speaker 3: able to finally be the hero in the film kiss
- 32:17Speaker 3: the girl in the end. Of course, everyone knows that
- 32:19Speaker 3: I won't kiss anybody else, but I get to kiss
- 32:21Speaker 3: my actual real life wife who plays my wife in
- 32:23Speaker 3: the film. So that alone for me is just I
- 32:27Speaker 3: finally have gotten to where I've always aspired and prayed
- 32:30Speaker 3: to be, and it feels so good to be in
- 32:33Speaker 3: this position.
- 32:34Speaker 2: It's incredible, and we're gonna give away some tickets right now.
- 32:37Speaker 2: You can go to angel dot com slash verdict and
- 32:41Speaker 2: you can get two free tickets to the Last Rodeo
- 32:44Speaker 2: and go see it as it is in theaters again.
- 32:46Speaker 2: Angel dot com slash Verdict now get two free tickets
- 32:49Speaker 2: to the last rodeo. Talk about this film, Neil and
- 32:52Speaker 2: what the message is, what people can expect.
- 32:55Speaker 3: Well, it's you know, I think you just kind of
- 32:57Speaker 3: nailed it. There aren't many films out in the landscape
- 32:59Speaker 3: anymore where you can bring the whole family and not
- 33:02Speaker 3: the saccer any sweet types of films, the films that
- 33:05Speaker 3: actually have a bite to it that the whole family
- 33:08Speaker 3: can go to, kids, grandparents, anyone and learn from and
- 33:11Speaker 3: know that that you know, I have to cover years
- 33:13Speaker 3: or eyes. You're gonna have some great films. You can
- 33:16Speaker 3: have great action with the bull riding, but you're gonna
- 33:18Speaker 3: have a story about families and broken families and how
- 33:21Speaker 3: are you men to fractured family? And for me, you
- 33:23Speaker 3: do it through faith. And when I went through all
- 33:25Speaker 3: my difficult things in life, it was always my faith
- 33:28Speaker 3: that got me through. Faith and my wife are may
- 33:30Speaker 3: those those two things have been my two greatest things
- 33:33Speaker 3: in my life. And now I get to write about
- 33:35Speaker 3: both of them, and starn and opposite my wife. So
- 33:38Speaker 3: I'm just I'm so excited about this film it's hard
- 33:42Speaker 3: to even put it into words.
- 33:43Speaker 2: Then you talked about doing this with your wife, have
- 33:46Speaker 2: you guys ever gotten to act before in movies?
- 33:49Speaker 1: Or is this the first time? You're the leader?
- 33:50Speaker 3: And my wife's ever actually before? When I wrote the film,
- 33:53Speaker 3: like okay, honey, so you know, I've always wanted to
- 33:56Speaker 3: be the John Wayne guy who you know is here
- 33:58Speaker 3: in the end who has to kiss the girl me
- 34:00Speaker 3: in She's like, yeah. I'm like, well, I'm finally gonna
- 34:01Speaker 3: do it. She's like, okay, but I need to do
- 34:04Speaker 3: it with you because I won't kiss anybody else. He goes,
- 34:06Speaker 3: I'm not an actress. I'm like, well you are now.
- 34:08Speaker 3: And she did awesome. I'm so proud of her. You know,
- 34:11Speaker 3: she was a runway model, she was a supermodel, so
- 34:14Speaker 3: she understands the pressure of being in front of people
- 34:16Speaker 3: and delivering. So for her in front of a camera,
- 34:18Speaker 3: it was very natural and I'm just so happy. I'm
- 34:21Speaker 3: so happy for her now.
- 34:22Speaker 2: When you wrote this, you also have real stars in
- 34:25Speaker 2: here as well that you that you mentioned a moment
- 34:27Speaker 2: ago PBR stars. What brought you the idea to even
- 34:30Speaker 2: write the script specifically with bull riding.
- 34:33Speaker 1: I'm a big fan.
- 34:34Speaker 2: I've gone to a lot of different rodeos, eight Second Tour,
- 34:37Speaker 2: et cetera. It is a brutal sport. What inspired you
- 34:41Speaker 2: to use this as the backdrop?
- 34:43Speaker 8: Ben?
- 34:43Speaker 3: I was doing another film at the time called The Warrants,
- 34:45Speaker 3: another Western that Ravee and I are producing. And when
- 34:49Speaker 3: I'm not around Revenge, she was home at the time
- 34:51Speaker 3: with the kids. When I'm not around my family, I
- 34:52Speaker 3: get really just downright kind of depressed the times, and
- 34:55Speaker 3: it's really hard. I don't like being on the road.
- 34:58Speaker 3: So but this one day, I was driving home from
- 35:00Speaker 3: set in Arizona, and I got gut punched with his
- 35:03Speaker 3: thoughts that what whatever happened to me, if something happened
- 35:05Speaker 3: to Rebee, And then I pulled over to the side
- 35:08Speaker 3: of the road just kind of buckled. And then this
- 35:11Speaker 3: other idea came in my head, which I it has
- 35:13Speaker 3: to be from God, because I didn't know a whole
- 35:15Speaker 3: lot about bull riding, and this idea came into my
- 35:18Speaker 3: head right rocking on a bowl, or a grandfather who
- 35:22Speaker 3: has to save his grandson because he's dying of the
- 35:24Speaker 3: same brain tunor they killed his wife. This came out
- 35:27Speaker 3: and I don't know where that came from, but it
- 35:28Speaker 3: just did. And then I sat in the side of
- 35:30Speaker 3: the ten freeway for two hours voice dictating into my
- 35:34Speaker 3: phone because I'm dyslexic, so I'm not very good at writing,
- 35:37Speaker 3: so I always do all my writing through voice dictations,
- 35:40Speaker 3: And I sent it up to my writing partner and
- 35:44Speaker 3: within the week we had our first draft, and a
- 35:45Speaker 3: week later, Revey and I raised the financing and Angel
- 35:49Speaker 3: Studios came on board, and here we are, almost two
- 35:51Speaker 3: years later, and it's just it's kind of miraculous, and
- 35:54Speaker 3: there really is.
- 35:56Speaker 2: Well, you mentioned that there's a family friendly movie. You
- 35:58Speaker 2: don't have to worry. That's one of the reason why
- 36:00Speaker 2: I wanted to have you on how tough is it
- 36:03Speaker 2: to produce movies like this in the environment we're in now,
- 36:06Speaker 2: because I know you had friends and people that you
- 36:08Speaker 2: could go to for financing, but saddling up to do
- 36:11Speaker 2: a pro bull riding movie and on top of having
- 36:15Speaker 2: all the pressure behind you of getting this out and
- 36:18Speaker 2: then getting it to the big screen, it's not an
- 36:20Speaker 2: easy task, especially in twenty twenty five.
- 36:24Speaker 3: No, it's not. It's you know, it's a minor miracle
- 36:26Speaker 3: to pull any film off. But for this one, you know,
- 36:30Speaker 3: God led me the whole way. In this one. I
- 36:32Speaker 3: wanted John Abne to directed, and the amazing John Abnitt
- 36:35Speaker 3: and one incredible director, he is He killed it. I
- 36:37Speaker 3: wanted Michael T. Williamson and Christopher McDonald to play my
- 36:40Speaker 3: two guys in the film, and there two of my
- 36:42Speaker 3: best friends of life, and we went after you know,
- 36:45Speaker 3: my one of my best friends back home, Lim Griffin
- 36:47Speaker 3: helped us with the film, and then these other financiers
- 36:49Speaker 3: came to me and said, hey, we know what you're doing.
- 36:52Speaker 3: We really like what you're doing with your message and
- 36:54Speaker 3: Angel Studios, we like to help finance your next film.
- 36:57Speaker 3: So between those two parties, all of a sudden, we
- 37:00Speaker 3: had our budget, we had distribution, and everything just kind
- 37:04Speaker 3: of went according to plan, which was kind of miraculous. Yeah,
- 37:08Speaker 3: there's always pickups, there's there's always variables that you wouldn't
- 37:12Speaker 3: even think of, but we always knew that we weren't
- 37:15Speaker 3: doing something that was for his glory, not our own,
- 37:18Speaker 3: and everyone bought into it. So when you say Hollywood
- 37:23Speaker 3: doesn't want that stuff, I think that in their heart
- 37:27Speaker 3: of hearts, they actually do. And I think that this
- 37:30Speaker 3: film was a whole lot easier to make than other
- 37:32Speaker 3: films because it did have a faith backdrop. It was
- 37:35Speaker 3: a film that the whole family can go too, you know.
- 37:38Speaker 3: So I think I think the landscape is changing a
- 37:42Speaker 3: lot of it thanks to Angel Studios and you know,
- 37:44Speaker 3: our partnership with Angel in the films that we've been doing.
- 37:47Speaker 3: That you could make these smaller films and turn a profit,
- 37:52Speaker 3: and that's great for everybody. And to be able to
- 37:55Speaker 3: put these movies out and have the support of all
- 37:57Speaker 3: the fans who go to the films and buy ticket
- 38:00Speaker 3: and pay it forward anything we do with Angels, it's
- 38:03Speaker 3: just it's so humbling that it's again it's hard to
- 38:05Speaker 3: I get so choked up just thinking about how fortunate
- 38:08Speaker 3: I am and blessed I am to be able to
- 38:11Speaker 3: sit here on a show like this and talk about
- 38:13Speaker 3: this amazing film that we have coming out.
- 38:15Speaker 2: Last question for you, there's a rumor that you actually
- 38:18Speaker 2: got injured while bull riding.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Is this true?
- 38:21Speaker 3: Which time?
- 38:23Speaker 9: Right?
- 38:23Speaker 1: Okay? I I love when I get good intel.
- 38:27Speaker 3: Yeah. I got busted up a lot.
- 38:29Speaker 1: You know.
- 38:29Speaker 3: We trained for months and months and months to make
- 38:32Speaker 3: sure I look as authentic as possible, and yeah, I
- 38:35Speaker 3: you know, busted up my wrists, my I busted a
- 38:38Speaker 3: few other things, but my shoulder popped out that hurt
- 38:42Speaker 3: like the Dickens, but I didn't tell anybody. I just
- 38:44Speaker 3: went around the corner and snapped it back in at
- 38:46Speaker 3: this barn, this door around the corner, and I popped
- 38:50Speaker 3: back in. I had like tears in my eyes, and
- 38:52Speaker 3: John's like yo, okay, I'm like yeah, I'm ready, let's roll.
- 38:54Speaker 3: And I didn't tell him the story for three months
- 38:56Speaker 3: later because if I had told him, he would have
- 38:58Speaker 3: shut it down and every would have gone crazy, Like
- 39:01Speaker 3: I'm just I'm a I'm a tough old dude, so
- 39:03Speaker 3: I just look. I kept it to myself and a
- 39:05Speaker 3: couple other injuries that happened that hey, those are war
- 39:09Speaker 3: wounds that I consider as trophies and metals.
- 39:12Speaker 2: I love it well. The movie is out. Go see
- 39:15Speaker 2: it the Last Rodeo. It is in theaters. Help keep
