- 1:47Speaker 5: the mony up looking me?
- 1:55Speaker 2: Come come on, you'll think, uhh, I sure will. Good
- 2:03Speaker 2: morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 4: You all listening to the voice, come on, dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 4: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show man.
- 2:11Speaker 4: I got something I want to share with you today.
- 2:12Speaker 4: I was I was in the gym this morning and
- 2:16Speaker 4: trained son send him a text, and he sent him
- 2:19Speaker 4: a text this morning of a dude in the gym
- 2:22Speaker 4: lifting up huge weights, dumb bails, doing a bench press like,
- 2:28Speaker 4: you know, just huge dumb balls, you know stuff I
- 2:31Speaker 4: ain't doing, you know, hundreds some pounds, not really sure
- 2:34Speaker 4: was huge. I've never seen dumb balls this big. And
- 2:37Speaker 4: the man was pressing him and Lee's son took a
- 2:40Speaker 4: picture of him, and he sent this to his father
- 2:43Speaker 4: this morning.
- 2:43Speaker 2: His father shared it with me.
- 2:44Speaker 4: I want to share it with y'all because man, I
- 2:47Speaker 4: can't tell you how it's explained so much of your life.
- 2:51Speaker 4: And when he showed the man lifting this excessive weight
- 2:54Speaker 4: in the gym, he said, wow, Pap, look at this
- 2:55Speaker 4: dude right here. The caption he put under it was,
- 2:59Speaker 4: don't pray for it to be easier, pray for you
- 3:02Speaker 4: to be stronger. Ain't that cold?
- 3:04Speaker 2: See?
- 3:05Speaker 4: I was thinking about that. As soon as he said it,
- 3:07Speaker 4: I said, Man, I gotta go on the radio. I
- 3:09Speaker 4: gotta tell everybody what I see now. Don't pray for
- 3:13Speaker 4: it to be easier, pray for you to be stronger. Okay,
- 3:18Speaker 4: let me tell you how important that is now. I
- 3:20Speaker 4: just heard it that way today, and I'm sharing it
- 3:22Speaker 4: with you immediately because you know what that has. It's
- 3:25Speaker 4: gonna help me a lot, because oftentimes I've done it indirectly,
- 3:30Speaker 4: and then sometimes I've done it all the wrong. I've
- 3:32Speaker 4: sometimes I've actually prayed for it to be stronger, but
- 3:35Speaker 4: I've also prayed sometimes for it to be easier. I
- 3:39Speaker 4: have done that and been guilty of it myself. But
- 3:42Speaker 4: from now on, after hearing that, I'm changing my prayer,
- 3:45Speaker 4: because see, you can't have it both ways. You can't
- 3:48Speaker 4: be strong and weak at the same time. Now, if
- 3:50Speaker 4: you keep asking God to make it easier, what you
- 3:54Speaker 4: are not asking him for is for you to be
- 3:56Speaker 4: able to handle whatever happens. So the next thing that
- 3:58Speaker 4: comes along that you ain't work your muscles on to
- 4:01Speaker 4: prepare you for, that's gonna sink you too. So what
- 4:05Speaker 4: I learned by that is sometimes I even I got
- 4:09Speaker 4: to change my prayer too. Now I do most of
- 4:11Speaker 4: the time, but I'm a human being and sometimes I
- 4:13Speaker 4: just want it to go away. But now, what I
- 4:15Speaker 4: really need to pray for is to strength all the
- 4:17Speaker 4: time to deal with whatever besets me, whatever comes my way.
- 4:22Speaker 4: Because to become successful, and we've talked about this how
- 4:25Speaker 4: many times, it's hard. So since knowing it is gonna
- 4:29Speaker 4: be hard, why not ask for the strength to handle that. See,
- 4:33Speaker 4: stop praying for weaker moments, stop praying for it to
- 4:36Speaker 4: be easier. Stop asking God to make your weight playing
- 4:39Speaker 4: and easy. Okay, now what now you ain't worked your
- 4:43Speaker 4: muscles out to learn how to handle nothing. I was
- 4:45Speaker 4: at it this morning. I put a little more weight
- 4:47Speaker 4: on it. In order to grow. I got to change.
- 4:50Speaker 4: And you can't change if you're gonna stay the same,
- 4:53Speaker 4: you can't keep picking up the same forty pound dumb bails.
- 4:57Speaker 2: And you want some more results, you gonna keep getting it.
- 5:00Speaker 4: If you keep doing what you've been doing, you gonna
- 5:02Speaker 4: keep getting what you've been getting.
- 5:04Speaker 2: You cannot grow without the change.
- 5:06Speaker 4: So when we talking to God and we're asking God
- 5:09Speaker 4: to make it easy for us, where to growth at,
- 5:12Speaker 4: where to change at? No, you got to ask God
- 5:15Speaker 4: to make you stronger, not to make the situation weaker.
- 5:18Speaker 2: I'm changing my prayers. Man, I'm going at him now.
- 5:21Speaker 4: With just just make me strong enough to handle whatever happened,
- 5:24Speaker 4: whatever come my way.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Give me the strift of handler.
- 5:27Speaker 4: And now whatever I see in front of me that
- 5:29Speaker 4: I'm trying to go after that's gonna require more, give
- 5:31Speaker 4: me the strift to.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Do that too.
- 5:33Speaker 4: Help me be a stronger man, Help me be a
- 5:37Speaker 4: stronger person, Help me be a stronger woman, a stronger boy,
- 5:43Speaker 4: a stronger girl, a stronger student, a stronger boss, a
- 5:47Speaker 4: stronger employee, a stronger leader, a stronger follower.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Give me that. Give me strift to do that.
- 5:53Speaker 4: Stop asking for it to be simple and easy and
- 5:56Speaker 4: paved the way what you want. Man, The road to
- 5:58Speaker 4: success is always under construction. Always it ain't ever paved
- 6:03Speaker 4: and smooth and easy. Look here, man, go out there todays,
- 6:06Speaker 4: try to be successful. See what you're gonna run into. Man,
- 6:09Speaker 4: it's orange barrels, it's workers, it's detours. It's got craters
- 6:13Speaker 4: in the road with no wanting signs on it. That's
- 6:15Speaker 4: how hard it is to be successful. The road to
- 6:17Speaker 4: success is always under construction. It ain't Finnah smooth out
- 6:22Speaker 4: for you. You got to ask God for strength. Be
- 6:24Speaker 4: what you're supposed to be. Now, listen, look at hill.
- 6:27Speaker 4: When you make a mistake, and you're gonna make them,
- 6:30Speaker 4: we all do. We fall down, but we get up.
- 6:36Speaker 4: A saint is just a sinner who felled down, but
- 6:39Speaker 4: he didn't stay there.
- 6:41Speaker 2: That's all a saint is. All these Christians running their mouth.
- 6:44Speaker 4: With you about how fired up and save they on
- 6:48Speaker 4: all this got all that, but them people.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Them people make mistakes all the time, all the time.
- 6:55Speaker 4: And see the moment we as Christian people start telling
- 6:58Speaker 4: people the truth about being a Christian, most people can
- 7:01Speaker 4: get interested in it. But if you're gonna tell everybody
- 7:04Speaker 4: this lie that you're over here living this perfect life
- 7:07Speaker 4: and everything and ever since you came to God, your
- 7:09Speaker 4: life been smooth and you don't have no and he
- 7:12Speaker 4: done took all your pains? Await, what what?
- 7:15Speaker 1: Who are you?
- 7:16Speaker 2: Where that life at? You're talking about Heaven?
- 7:19Speaker 6: Now?
- 7:19Speaker 2: Ain't you? But I heard you had to die to
- 7:21Speaker 2: go there? So what you're really talking about?
- 7:24Speaker 4: Come on, man, I'm talking to the cat that's in
- 7:26Speaker 4: some real pain right now, that's in some real trouble
- 7:29Speaker 4: right now. The dude is at the crossroad right now.
- 7:32Speaker 4: The dude has been struggling and dealing with it for
- 7:34Speaker 4: a long time. I'm talking to the cat that's out there,
- 7:37Speaker 4: been trying to figure.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Out what's wrong?
- 7:39Speaker 4: Man, Why I can't seem to get it right? That's
- 7:42Speaker 4: who I'm talking to. I'm saying, come over here and
- 7:44Speaker 4: give God to try. Come over here with your imperfect self,
- 7:47Speaker 4: with your imperfect ways, and watch him change some things
- 7:51Speaker 4: about you.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Watch him give you the strength. See what he did
- 7:54Speaker 2: for me? Let me okay, See, best way I can
- 7:56Speaker 2: do is just tell you what happened to me.
- 7:57Speaker 4: See what it did for me was he just took
- 8:00Speaker 4: me and took how it was and made me better
- 8:04Speaker 4: with it. I'm still an aggressive man. I'm probably not
- 8:08Speaker 4: gonna ever stop being aggressive. But he took that aggression
- 8:11Speaker 4: and he starts shaping it. Now for the first twelve
- 8:14Speaker 4: minutes and the morning, be aggressive about me.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Be aggressive about.
- 8:17Speaker 4: The feelings you got towards me, your father, your leader,
- 8:20Speaker 4: your God, your savior.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Be aggressive, man. Tell people how you made it, Steve aggressively.
- 8:25Speaker 4: Since you want to, Since you aggressive and you've been aggressive,
- 8:28Speaker 4: I made you be aggressive with that. Now, since you
- 8:32Speaker 4: like to tell it like it is, Steve, then tell
- 8:34Speaker 4: the truth of how it really is. How I do
- 8:37Speaker 4: for you, what I done for you. Tell everybody you
- 8:39Speaker 4: know what I've done for you in a plain, simple
- 8:42Speaker 4: way so they can feel. You see, he ain't changed me.
- 8:45Speaker 4: He just made me better with it. When you get loud, hey, man,
- 8:49Speaker 4: every now and then get loud for me. You know
- 8:51Speaker 4: you want to tell some jokes, you real funny, tell
- 8:53Speaker 4: some funny, but let it be so more people can hear.
- 8:57Speaker 2: See that's what he did for me.
- 8:59Speaker 4: So if all you cats out there that's scared to
- 9:01Speaker 4: come on over here because you scared it's gonna change you,
- 9:04Speaker 4: turn you into some little punk. Now, you got to
- 9:06Speaker 4: come over here and beat this little meek lamb laid
- 9:08Speaker 4: off the slaughter. Every Sunday that ain't what it is
- 9:11Speaker 4: over here. God looking for men, God looking for for
- 9:15Speaker 4: real soldiers out here. See everybody I talk to you
- 9:18Speaker 4: don't want to hear about Christianity. So I ain't got
- 9:20Speaker 4: nothing from there. How about that? How about that? I'm
- 9:23Speaker 4: cool with that. See every Christian ain't turning another cheek.
- 9:26Speaker 4: I ain't there you slap me?
- 9:28Speaker 7: Man?
- 9:29Speaker 2: I ain't, man, I'm sorry, I don't. I don't know.
- 9:31Speaker 4: I ain't there yet. But see I'm a work in progress.
- 9:34Speaker 4: He ain't through with me yet. I might get to
- 9:36Speaker 4: the point where I can turn my other cheek. I
- 9:38Speaker 4: doubt it.
- 9:38Speaker 2: I ain't.
- 9:39Speaker 4: I ain't looking for I ain't praying for that one.
- 9:41Speaker 4: I'm I don't for real about you, man, I'll be
- 9:44Speaker 4: praying for most strength. So when you do slap me,
- 9:47Speaker 4: when I come back around, I come back nice hard
- 9:50Speaker 4: slap me. You won't slap me twice. I'm promise you that.
- 9:52Speaker 4: Where am I going with this? Steve Huh? I'm sorry, y'all.
- 9:56Speaker 4: Just remember what I told you.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 4: Ladies and gentlemen, boys, girls, animals, fish, fowl of the air, here, there, wherever, henceforth,
- 10:17Speaker 4: furthermore and therein.
- 10:21Speaker 2: Whatever applies to you. I'm glad you're here.
- 10:27Speaker 4: In the words of one of the great songwriter singers,
- 10:31Speaker 4: I believe her name is Brenda Russell. Not to be
- 10:37Speaker 4: confused with uh Low Leader Adams older old leader Yolanda Adams,
- 10:50Speaker 4: partician Trema, not to be confused with the clock sisters.
- 11:00Speaker 7: To me and may.
- 11:02Speaker 6: Te Erica.
- 11:05Speaker 4: Anybody see throwing it out in confusion. Lord, I'm struggling today,
- 11:13Speaker 4: Help me pull it together.
- 11:18Speaker 1: On the dark you're talking about Alas No, but she
- 11:22Speaker 1: she did it, Toru.
- 11:23Speaker 8: He was right.
- 11:24Speaker 9: Actually Brenda Russell was first. Yeah, Brenda Russell. Brenda Russell wrote.
- 11:31Speaker 4: Girl, you better girl straighten him out.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Sure, I thought you were right, but yeah, you were right, Brendan.
- 11:41Speaker 2: But the two year young with her finger, Okay, let's
- 11:48Speaker 2: do that. Which one does everybody know?
- 11:51Speaker 7: Yeah?

- 12:16Speaker 2: me on a big balloon, but you better get here soon.
- 12:24Speaker 2: I know that's right.
- 12:26Speaker 4: Let your church say, man, Amen, Man, I know you
- 12:30Speaker 4: didn't want to because it sounds confusing this moment, but
- 12:35Speaker 4: that's all right.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Some mornings is just a little bit off.

- 12:58Speaker 9: She saying get here. Brenda Russell wrote it. She also
- 13:02Speaker 9: performed it. But that's what Steve was talking about. And
- 13:05Speaker 9: Oleita made the song popular.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Get here.
- 13:09Speaker 10: Was get here?
- 13:10Speaker 2: It was popular to me. It's a song, Junior, that's

- 13:15Speaker 10: Oh God, Sony stopping by somewhere.
- 13:19Speaker 4: She was actually singing, this is a song about a
- 13:22Speaker 4: woman looking for a man so bad, needing his warm embrace,
- 13:29Speaker 4: his tender touch. Yeah, oh, I don't know nothing about that.
- 13:33Speaker 4: Because Jonas he was writing about.

- 15:02Speaker 2: Okay, how long have you been at the church, man.
- 15:05Speaker 7: I've probably been at the church for like five years.
- 15:07Speaker 12: Now, about five years. Okay, okay, listen. My name is
- 15:10Speaker 12: Doug Man. Doug Newsome, and I haven't. I haven't joined
- 15:13Speaker 12: the church yet, but I've been coming because my cousin,
- 15:17Speaker 12: you know, my uh, my cousin them go there. They've
- 15:20Speaker 12: been going there for quite a bit. My cousin I got.
- 15:23Speaker 12: I got one cousin that's in the choir, LaTrece. You
- 15:26Speaker 12: know who LaTrece is, right.
- 15:28Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, I know who the trees. You ain't a
- 15:31Speaker 7: member of the church.
- 15:31Speaker 12: Yet, No, No, I'm not a member of the church yet,
- 15:33Speaker 12: but you know, I've been in there. You know, I'm
- 15:36Speaker 12: liking the service and everything, so you know, it's just
- 15:38Speaker 12: a matter of time, you know, uh, when I feel
- 15:41Speaker 12: like I'm ready to actually join.
- 15:43Speaker 2: But I ain't gonna lie.
- 15:44Speaker 12: Man. I'm calling you because I got a bit of
- 15:46Speaker 12: an issue about, uh about something I've been noticing for
- 15:50Speaker 12: the last three weeks that's been going on in the church,
- 15:52Speaker 12: and I wanted to, uh, you know, I had to
- 15:54Speaker 12: ask around.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Who was over the media ministry.
- 15:58Speaker 12: Yeah, that's that's you, man, Okay, So, uh man, I
- 16:03Speaker 12: don't know what's happening. Uh, And I ain't gonna lie.
- 16:06Speaker 12: I gotta be real with you. It pissed me off.
- 16:08Speaker 12: But for the last three weeks, you know, when my
- 16:12Speaker 12: cousin get ready to sing. You know, I don't know
- 16:15Speaker 12: why when she get up the sing that the mic
- 16:18Speaker 12: just go out, you know what I mean, the mic
- 16:20Speaker 12: just go completely out when she getting ready to sing.
- 16:22Speaker 2: And I'm like, what this don't make no sense, you know.
- 16:25Speaker 6: So man, it's not like I'm tying it.
- 16:28Speaker 13: I don't know.
- 16:28Speaker 7: I mean, we don't have the best equipment at the church,
- 16:31Speaker 7: you know, we we just got to work for what
- 16:33Speaker 7: we got. I mean, it's not like I'm sitting there
- 16:35Speaker 7: trying to single out your cousin. Sometimes the MIC's get
- 16:38Speaker 7: a glitch.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Man, But see but see that. But see that's my
- 16:40Speaker 2: problem though.
- 16:41Speaker 12: The problem I'm having is the glitch happening every single
- 16:44Speaker 12: time my cousin get the mic.
- 16:46Speaker 2: You know. That's that's the problem I'm having.
- 16:48Speaker 12: Like, okay, so every time the trees get up there
- 16:50Speaker 12: the same then you know, the mic go out.
- 16:52Speaker 2: I didn't came three weeks straight. I ain't hear my
- 16:54Speaker 2: cousins saying nothing.
- 16:55Speaker 12: Yes, So I'm calling you brouh on, you know, on
- 16:59Speaker 12: some real man man stuff, just letting you know, br
- 17:02Speaker 12: I'm coming to church again this Sunday. I'm coming Now
- 17:06Speaker 12: if LaTrece might go out again. Hey Doug, somebody gonna
- 17:11Speaker 12: get this wood.
- 17:13Speaker 7: You're gonna bring that energy to church? Say, wasn't I
- 17:16Speaker 7: You're gonna bring that energy to church? I told you, man,
- 17:19Speaker 7: it's just the glitch. Ain't nothing I could do about it.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Okay.
- 17:22Speaker 12: What I'm saying though, Bro, what I'm saying is this
- 17:24Speaker 12: right here though, And I'm being as real as I can.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Which if if Latrice.
- 17:28Speaker 12: Might go out on Sunday immediately after that service is
- 17:33Speaker 12: over with somebody getting.
- 17:36Speaker 7: I don't know why you calling threatening a member of
- 17:38Speaker 7: the church, man. Like I said, I ain't got nothing
- 17:41Speaker 7: to do with it. I try to keep everything running cool,
- 17:43Speaker 7: you know. I try to keep it running smooth. I
- 17:45Speaker 7: can't tell you when a glitch is gonna happen. It's electronics, man,
- 17:49Speaker 7: it's holy quitman. I'd love for you to be a
- 17:51Speaker 7: member of the church with us, but I can't. I mean,
- 17:53Speaker 7: why you calling up here threatening me?
- 17:55Speaker 12: Hey, brou because because I came up there three times,
- 17:59Speaker 12: three tails came there and see my cousin saying.
- 18:02Speaker 2: You know, my cousin been saying since we was kids.
- 18:04Speaker 2: We all love to hear her saying we love her. Voice.

- 31:43Speaker 9: other entertainment news, Spike Lee says he doesn't care what
- 31:46Speaker 9: critics say about the New Michael movie. Spike says he's
- 31:50Speaker 9: seen the New Michael biopic twice. He's seen it twice,
- 31:54Speaker 9: and he loved it. He's shutting down critics who've criticized
- 31:57Speaker 9: the movie for excluding the sexual abuse allegations against Michael.
- 32:02Speaker 9: Spike said, quote, you're critiquing the film on something that
- 32:05Speaker 9: you want in, but it doesn't work in the timeline
- 32:09Speaker 9: of the film. But the movie ends in eighty eight
- 32:13Speaker 9: and the stuff you're talking about, accusations, happened later.
- 32:16Speaker 1: So there you go.
- 32:17Speaker 9: Okay, you want this in, Spike is saying, but it
- 32:21Speaker 9: doesn't work with the timeline.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Okay. Meanwhile, yeah, Meanwhile.
- 32:25Speaker 9: Actor Coleman Domingo, who played Joe Jackson in the movie,
- 32:28Speaker 9: said this movie is about the making of Michael, how
- 32:31Speaker 9: he was raised and how he was trying to find
- 32:33Speaker 9: his voice.
- 32:34Speaker 1: As an artist. And that's very true. That's very true.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Go go check out the movie. It's really really cool, cool.
- 32:40Speaker 2: I haven't heard. I've heard.
- 32:44Speaker 1: It's really good. It's really good. Yeah.
- 32:47Speaker 4: I mean, you know what these people they don't mention
- 32:50Speaker 4: his sexual allegations.
- 32:52Speaker 9: It's not a documentary, no, and it's just a part
- 32:56Speaker 9: of a life.
- 32:57Speaker 1: It's not whole life.
- 32:59Speaker 4: Yeah, which has actually made me think about doing something
- 33:03Speaker 4: a little bit different, because you know, I would I
- 33:07Speaker 4: would want to do a movie, but just show you,
- 33:11Speaker 4: you know how it came.
- 33:12Speaker 1: About, you know, And that's what Michael does. It shows you,
- 33:17Speaker 1: I know, how.
- 33:18Speaker 4: You could make a movie about this guy's life and
- 33:21Speaker 4: put it on the screen. Do you know how long
- 33:23Speaker 4: that movie.
- 33:24Speaker 1: It would be so long, it would be so long.
- 33:29Speaker 4: Since he was six, yes, but I mean, but I
- 33:35Speaker 4: mean really really.
- 33:37Speaker 1: Famous, worldwide global. Yeah.
- 33:41Speaker 9: So yeah, so they took a portion out, yeah, when
- 33:44Speaker 9: he was a little boy to you know, after the
- 33:48Speaker 9: victory tour with his brothers.
- 33:50Speaker 2: But it's always.
- 33:51Speaker 12: Somebody on the side that ain't doing nothing that's telling
- 33:53Speaker 12: you how things ought to be in at what they
- 33:56Speaker 12: should have wrote.
- 33:56Speaker 4: And he ain't got money for nothing.
- 33:59Speaker 9: And Spike Lee is a director, so he knows, you know,
- 34:03Speaker 9: he knows he makes movies.
- 34:05Speaker 1: What were you gonna say, Carly?
- 34:06Speaker 16: I was just gonna say, the new generation they don't
- 34:09Speaker 16: know the story, ye know, Like like I said, my
- 34:12Speaker 16: daughter's eighteen.
- 34:14Speaker 10: She didn't know any of that.
- 34:15Speaker 16: She did, she just when she got here. Michael Jackson,
- 34:19Speaker 16: you know that's all she knew.
- 34:21Speaker 1: Yeah, talk about exactly.
- 34:23Speaker 9: So now if you didn't know, now you know from
- 34:26Speaker 9: how he was from a little boy up until now.
- 34:29Speaker 9: So if they do a part two, which they have
- 34:30Speaker 9: been talking about, then you could see some of his
- 34:33Speaker 9: other life. But yeah, you're right, Steve, it would take
- 34:35Speaker 9: forever for a movie about Michael Jackson.
- 34:38Speaker 2: Forever, four parts.
- 34:39Speaker 9: Yeah, come on, the greatest entertainer who ever lived?
- 34:44Speaker 1: Come on? And yeah?
- 34:53Speaker 16: Could you imagine how that could mess with your mind?
- 34:56Speaker 16: That the actual that people will actually fall out when
- 35:01Speaker 16: they see you.
- 35:02Speaker 14: Yeah, when they see you, see they seeing it.
- 35:08Speaker 4: I'm still waiting on that day is long as.
- 35:15Speaker 2: You want heard?
- 35:20Speaker 7: All right?
- 35:22Speaker 2: Now, I'm starting to think I ain't gonna get there
- 35:26Speaker 2: at sixty.

- 35:30Speaker 1: I did not know that.
- 35:33Speaker 2: That's funny, see.
- 35:36Speaker 9: All right, Finally, we all know that Jeff Bezos is
- 35:40Speaker 9: one of the sponsors of the Medgala. I think he
- 35:42Speaker 9: sponsored about ten million dollars.
- 35:45Speaker 1: Well, now, the New.
- 35:46Speaker 9: York Post reports that Bezos is quietly shopping his five
- 35:50Speaker 9: hundred million dollar floating palace, the Kreu. It's a mega yacht,
- 35:55Speaker 9: only three years old. But it is a hassle to maintain.
- 35:58Speaker 9: The sailboat's four hundred and seventeen feet in length two

- 56:51Speaker 13: Let us I know you.
- 56:52Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 56:53Speaker 9: Subject Everything is in his mama's name. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 56:58Speaker 9: I'm going through a divorce and I have mixed feelings
- 57:01Speaker 9: about my estranged husband. I recently found out that he
- 57:04Speaker 9: put everything in his mama's name. Oh and he cheated
- 57:08Speaker 9: on me too. I was a perfect wife that leaned
- 57:11Speaker 9: heavily on my man to lead the family. He handled
- 57:14Speaker 9: the finances, paid the bills, and he was the breadwinner.
- 57:18Speaker 9: Because of that, I have to move out of my mom's,
- 57:21Speaker 9: out of my house, and relocate to a small home
- 57:25Speaker 9: with my daughter because our home is in his mama's name.
- 57:29Speaker 9: My mother in law has stopped talking to me because
- 57:32Speaker 9: she can't face the fact that she kept this info
- 57:35Speaker 9: from me. My Lexus is in his mama's name too.
- 57:38Speaker 9: I had no idea when he surprised me with a
- 57:41Speaker 9: new car for my birthday. At first, I assumed that
- 57:45Speaker 9: he put everything in his mom's name because he hated me.
- 57:49Speaker 9: But I just found out that his credit is very bad.
- 57:52Speaker 9: He filed for bankruptcy before we got married, and he
- 57:55Speaker 9: never shared that with me. He has a secret account
- 57:58Speaker 9: that he uses to pay off his debt and hide
- 58:01Speaker 9: money for his affair with his younger woman. I was
- 58:05Speaker 9: living with a man that I didn't know at all.
- 58:08Speaker 9: My dad said, it's great that my husband kept me
- 58:10Speaker 9: out of his mess, so I won't have to carry
- 58:12Speaker 9: the debt in our divorce. But me being the Christian
- 58:16Speaker 9: that I am, I feel sorry for my husband and
- 58:19Speaker 9: I want to help him get out of debt. He
- 58:22Speaker 9: had to be going through a lot of shame to
- 58:24Speaker 9: be forty four years old and still using his mom's
- 58:27Speaker 9: name to provide for our family. I would have understood
- 58:30Speaker 9: if he would have just been honest with me. Did
- 58:33Speaker 9: he really love me and that was his way of
- 58:36Speaker 9: protecting me? Why was he Why wasn't he honest with me?
- 58:39Speaker 9: Am I being foolish for wanting to help out the
- 58:42Speaker 9: man that's divorcing me. Okay, come on now, I mean
- 58:48Speaker 9: you and your daughter had to leave. You had to
- 58:50Speaker 9: get out of your home, You had to get into
- 58:53Speaker 9: a smaller house because of him.
- 58:55Speaker 1: He cheated on you.
- 58:56Speaker 9: He was already in bankruptcy before you even married him.
- 59:00Speaker 9: He had a secret account to take care of the
- 59:02Speaker 9: younger woman he's having an affair with. He's divorcing you
- 59:06Speaker 9: and leaving you and your daughter with nothing because, like
- 59:09Speaker 9: the letter says, everything is in his mama's name.
- 59:15Speaker 1: How does this work? You want to do what you
- 59:19Speaker 1: feel sorry for him?
- 59:20Speaker 9: No, I mean he didn't take your feelings into account
- 59:23Speaker 9: or consideration when he was doing all of his dirt.
- 59:27Speaker 1: By the way, your dad is right. I agree with
- 59:29Speaker 1: your dad. It's a good thing.
- 59:30Speaker 9: Your name isn't on anything when you think about it, Therefore,
- 59:33Speaker 9: you would be liable for his mess. When you start
- 59:37Speaker 9: getting weak and feeling sorry for him, think about all
- 59:40Speaker 9: the stuff he's done to you, that he's taken you through.
- 59:44Speaker 9: You know, you don't have a home now. Your lexus
- 59:46Speaker 9: is in his mama's name. You'll eventually have to give
- 59:49Speaker 9: that up. His mom's not even speaking to you.
- 59:51Speaker 3: On and on and on.
- 59:52Speaker 9: You've been mistreated, cheated on, and humiliated. Okay, if you
- 59:56Speaker 9: want to feel sorry for him, don't do that, but
- 59:58Speaker 9: you can forgive him, you can move on with your life.
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: Steve surely is one hundred percent correct in this letter.
- 1:00:07Speaker 4: I can't disagree with nothing. She said. I'm really surprised
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: at the questions in the letter. After you read this
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: whole letter. Her questions are at the bottom.
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: Of the letter.
- 1:00:20Speaker 4: Did he really love me? Was this his way of
- 1:00:23Speaker 4: protecting me? Why wasn't he honest with me? Am I
- 1:00:28Speaker 4: being foolish for wanting to help out the man that's
- 1:00:31Speaker 4: divorcing me?
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: Those are your.
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: Questions, girl, You should have a whole different set of questions.
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: You know, why did I take care of my business?
- 1:00:45Speaker 4: Why didn't I see this coming? Why was he so evil?
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: Because I'm gonna tell you something right now, this is
- 1:00:51Speaker 4: all calculated, even the divorce calculated. He knew you wasn't
- 1:00:58Speaker 4: gonna get nothing because they ain't nothing in his name.
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: People do this all the time to protect their assets. Now,
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: why he did it was because he had bad credit,
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: but it's still once you got married.
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: It protected his assets.
- 1:01:15Speaker 4: The house, the car, everything in his mama's name, and
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: you want to know should you help this man because
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: you feel sorry for him? Lady, it's that type of
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: behavior that makes you gullible and open to being hurt again.
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: Use your brain. Why don't you learn the lesson in
- 1:01:37Speaker 4: all of this? Because there is a lesson. Now, your
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: dad is absolutely right about you. You should be grateful
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: because it ain't in your name, because now you don't
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: get to have to assume none of that debt. But
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: now you want to go and put yourself in debt
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: and help him? He gone with a younger chick.
- 1:01:56Speaker 13: You know what?
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: Sometimes this Christian that you're trying to be sometimes, you know,
- 1:02:08Speaker 4: this is a perfect example of it's hard to love
- 1:02:13Speaker 4: somebody else when you don't love yourself. Self love is
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: important because it will help you make better decisions when
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: you meet people like this. So I normally don't do
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: my letters this way. I normally walk you through line
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: by line, but I tried. When we come back, maybe
- 1:02:38Speaker 4: I don't know how to approach this note. I'm so
- 1:02:40Speaker 4: amazingly disappointed in you, lady. I don't see how, And
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: you probably think this whole thing is your fault, don't you.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: Wow?
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: Why wouldn't he honest with you?
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: Now he would lie. It's hard to be.
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: Honest and not the same time.
- 1:03:02Speaker 9: All right, we'll have partner took your response. Coming up
- 1:03:06Speaker 9: Steve three minutes after the hour. Everything is in his
- 1:03:11Speaker 9: mama's name is the subject. We'll be back right after this.
- 1:03:16Speaker 9: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:23Speaker 16: Do you ever notice your floors still look dirty even
- 1:03:26Speaker 16: after you mop? Power Mop gives you a deeper clean
- 1:03:29Speaker 16: you can see and feel. Unlike stream mops, Swift for
- 1:03:33Speaker 16: power Mop absorbs more dirt and locks it away even
- 1:03:36Speaker 16: and hard to reach places.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: Like behind the toilet.
- 1:03:39Speaker 16: The new micro scrubbers deliver thousands of tiny, deep cleaning
- 1:03:43Speaker 16: actions for results that look, smell, and feel clean. No
- 1:03:47Speaker 16: more dirty floors. Try the Swift for power Mop. Love
- 1:03:50Speaker 16: it or your money back.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: Come on, Steve.
- 1:03:53Speaker 9: Let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject is everything is
- 1:03:57Speaker 9: in his mama's name.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: I mean everything This letter crazy.
- 1:04:02Speaker 4: This lady going through divorces She got mixed feelings about
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: her estranged husband because she found out that he put
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: everything in his mama's name. Then she says, oh, and
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: he cheated on me too. That ain't no side note,
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: he put everything in.
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: His mama's name. Oh and he cheated on me too.
- 1:04:26Speaker 4: Girl, I was the perfect wife, leaned heavily on my
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: man to lead the family. He handle finances, paid the bills,
- 1:04:37Speaker 4: he was the bread with her. Because of that, I
- 1:04:40Speaker 4: had to move out of my house and we would
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: relocate to a smaller home with my daughter because our
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: home is in his mama's name. Well, you know what
- 1:04:47Speaker 4: that letter really says was you didn't know any of
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: the business. You didn't know what nothing was. You ain't
- 1:04:55Speaker 4: have no plans of knowing what it was now when
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: it ain't yours no more. Now you sit around trying
- 1:05:00Speaker 4: to figure out why because it's in his mama's name. See,
- 1:05:04Speaker 4: you could have see, listen to me, even though the
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: house was in his mama's name. After a while, she
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: could have deeded the house over to him to y'all.
- 1:05:14Speaker 4: Had you been on top of that, you could have
- 1:05:16Speaker 4: requested that you know Anywow. Yeah, now you in here.
- 1:05:24Speaker 4: Your mother in law stopped talking to you because she
- 1:05:27Speaker 4: can't face the fact that she kept this info from me.
- 1:05:30Speaker 4: You ain't never asked about it, you didn't never look
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: into it, and it wasn't hurt. You needed that information from.
- 1:05:38Speaker 4: It was the man you married. So you can't even
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: blame your mama in law because she didn't tell you.
- 1:05:45Speaker 4: She could easily say I thought he told, excuse me,
- 1:05:50Speaker 4: your lexus is in your mama's name.
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: Yeah, got that for your birthday.
- 1:05:57Speaker 4: Then you said, at first, I assumed you put every
- 1:06:00Speaker 4: thing in his mama's name because he hated me. What
- 1:06:06Speaker 4: you don't hate people. You get a house and a
- 1:06:08Speaker 4: car for me, so that ain't it. But I just
- 1:06:13Speaker 4: found out that his credit is very bad. He filed
- 1:06:17Speaker 4: for bankruptcy before we got married, and he never shared
- 1:06:20Speaker 4: that with me. Then she said, he got a secret
- 1:06:26Speaker 4: account that he uses. Now he ain't share this with
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: you either to pay off debt and hide money for
- 1:06:31Speaker 4: his affair with this younger woman. He ain't tell you
- 1:06:34Speaker 4: that he Then you said, I was living with a
- 1:06:38Speaker 4: man I ain't know at all. Then your daddy told
- 1:06:40Speaker 4: you was good. Your husband kept you out the medicine.
- 1:06:42Speaker 4: Now you don't have to carry the debt and the divorce.
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: Now here we go.
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: But me, being the Christian that I am, I feel
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: sorry for my husband and I want to help him
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: get out of debt. Why why He ain't doing nothing
- 1:06:59Speaker 4: to get out of debt. He got secret accounts paying
- 1:07:02Speaker 4: a younger chick. He ain't trying to get out of debt.
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: He'd have found a way to circumvent the credit system
- 1:07:09Speaker 4: by putting it all in his mama's name. He not
- 1:07:11Speaker 4: trying to get out of debt. He trying to live
- 1:07:14Speaker 4: his life without you, and you want to help him.
- 1:07:21Speaker 4: He had to be going through a lot of shame
- 1:07:23Speaker 4: to be forty four years old and still using his
- 1:07:26Speaker 4: mama's name to provide.
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: For our family.
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: What are you talking about?
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: Because that's how she said. I would have understood if
- 1:07:37Speaker 4: he would have been honest with me. How are you
- 1:07:38Speaker 4: gonna be honest with you? And lied at the same time,
- 1:07:42Speaker 4: He wasn't honest with you because he was lying.
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: Did he really love me? Yeah?
- 1:07:50Speaker 3: He did?
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: And was that his way of protecting me?
- 1:07:56Speaker 4: No, that was his way of getting what he wanted
- 1:07:59Speaker 4: and lying to get And now he lied to get you.
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: Why wasn't he honest with me? I have told you
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: because he was lying.
- 1:08:11Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: Ooh, she's she get on my nerves right now with
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: this letter.
- 1:08:18Speaker 4: She said, why wasn't he honest with me? He was
- 1:08:21Speaker 4: lying to you, lady, everything in his mama's name. He
- 1:08:25Speaker 4: didn't tell you that he got a girl on the side,
- 1:08:28Speaker 4: younger woman. He ain't tell you that he got a
- 1:08:31Speaker 4: secret account that paid for his and all is here.
- 1:08:34Speaker 4: He ain't tell you that now he making you and
- 1:08:38Speaker 4: your daughter move out of the house. What a love
- 1:08:43Speaker 4: at in him? Am I being foolish for wanting to
- 1:08:46Speaker 4: help out the man that's divorcing me? You're really foolish folk,
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: wanting to help out a man that done everything else
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: to you, that caused the divorce. Why don't you help
- 1:08:59Speaker 4: yourself self? Your focus right now is should be on
- 1:09:03Speaker 4: you and your daughter. Stop, ladies, stop trying to fix everything.
- 1:09:14Speaker 4: Just stop trying to fix everything. Everything doesn't need fixing.
- 1:09:18Speaker 4: Some things need to be left alone and let somebody
- 1:09:22Speaker 4: figure it out for itself. I got somebody right now
- 1:09:25Speaker 4: has called me repeatedly asking for help, and I have
- 1:09:29Speaker 4: helped them over and over and over again, and I
- 1:09:33Speaker 4: just decided, you know what, I don't have to return
- 1:09:36Speaker 4: this text and I just don't. And they have texted
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: me five times. Ain't no blue response nowhere.
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: Tonight.
- 1:09:47Speaker 4: They starting to come up and I'm talking about this
- 1:09:49Speaker 4: was an emergency and now it's.
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: Forty five days.
- 1:09:54Speaker 4: Forty five days they've been asking, Wow, you're still an emergency.

- 1:11:29Speaker 17: A Massachusetts jury found New England Patriots wide receiver Stephan
- 1:11:34Speaker 17: Diggs not guilty on all accounts in his criminal assault trial.
- 1:11:38Speaker 10: Of the jury deliberated about ninety minutes.
- 1:11:41Speaker 17: This took place in December twenty twenty fifth, twenty twenty five.
- 1:11:44Speaker 17: Excuse me, in his homes and you know his chef,
- 1:11:48Speaker 17: his live in chef said that Stephan Diggs slapped her
- 1:11:53Speaker 17: and then he choked her. So he was found not
- 1:11:55Speaker 17: guilty on two charges feeling the strangulation or suffocate, not
- 1:12:00Speaker 17: guilty on that and mister beaner assault and battery and
- 1:12:04Speaker 17: not guilty.
- 1:12:05Speaker 10: Now, after the incident, they found her on tape dancing.
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: But she she she was the worst I'm talking about
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: right after the incident.
- 1:12:14Speaker 10: Yeah, after you get choked and slap you started dancing.
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: No rules, no marks, of any kind.
- 1:12:23Speaker 4: No, And it was just ridiculous man, that she was
- 1:12:27Speaker 4: on the on the on the stand testifying, and.
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: I was going, wow, this sounds so crazy.
- 1:12:34Speaker 4: I mean, lady, I'm trying to let you be a victim,
- 1:12:37Speaker 4: but this sound the way she was describing it. Yeah,
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: And his lawyer kept asking her the question, why you
- 1:12:45Speaker 4: keep asking me that he was choking me?
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: She said, on the on the scale of one to ten,
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: with ten being the worst, what was it? It was
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: a ten?
- 1:12:55Speaker 4: Yeah, Well, when a person chokes you, you should have
- 1:12:58Speaker 4: some type of bruises.
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: It was a team to me, she said.
- 1:13:03Speaker 17: Still, fun didn't pay me for three weeks. They showed
- 1:13:07Speaker 17: her that she got six thousand dollars.
- 1:13:09Speaker 10: She said, hey, pay for that third week.
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: He said, because you was fired.
- 1:13:11Speaker 10: Was you in there cooking?
- 1:13:12Speaker 13: No?
- 1:13:13Speaker 19: I wasn't in the cooking.
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: But she lived. That's he lived.
- 1:13:22Speaker 16: Yeah, but said she was dancing after the incident, after
- 1:13:26Speaker 16: right after that, after that.
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: Yeah, wow, right after the choking incident.
- 1:13:33Speaker 4: That was And I've been when Johnny Waller choked me,
- 1:13:37Speaker 4: I was so relieved to still be alive.
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: I said, back down in that audience touring chain, I
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: was shaking. I wasn't dancing. I was shaking.
- 1:13:50Speaker 9: It's just sad because the massive violence is serious. Really yeah, yeah,
- 1:13:55Speaker 9: bring them all right, Junior, thank you. Coming up at
- 1:13:59Speaker 9: the time of the hour, a man on social media
- 1:14:01Speaker 9: needs some advice. He says, my homie tried to holler
- 1:14:04Speaker 9: at my girl. We'll talk about that right after this.
- 1:14:07Speaker 9: Uh oh, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:15Speaker 9: This is from Lance on Steve Harvey FM. Lance says,
- 1:14:18Speaker 9: my girlfriend and I went to a party. At one point,
- 1:14:22Speaker 9: I guess I went to get her a drink and
- 1:14:25Speaker 9: some other friends overheard this guy, who I thought was
- 1:14:28Speaker 9: my homie and we were cool, trying to holler at
- 1:14:31Speaker 9: my girl, saying things like you should take my number
- 1:14:34Speaker 9: in case things don't work out with you and your boy.
- 1:14:37Speaker 9: I asked her about it, and she laughed and said
- 1:14:39Speaker 9: it was nothing and that he was just drunk. She
- 1:14:42Speaker 9: didn't want me to confront the guy and said just
- 1:14:44Speaker 9: leave it alone. It's not that I don't trust her,
- 1:14:47Speaker 9: but I think it's more than disrespectful on his part.
- 1:14:51Speaker 9: Now there is another there's another get together coming up,
- 1:14:55Speaker 9: and I heard he will be there.
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: Do I step to him or what? Well? Your girl
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: did the right thing in trying to uh.
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: De escalate, to squash it.
- 1:15:09Speaker 4: De escalated, so it don't turn into nothing. She didn't
- 1:15:14Speaker 4: give him the number. You upset because you thought it
- 1:15:18Speaker 4: was your homie. Okay, he's not.
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: He's not.
- 1:15:22Speaker 4: And if he's drunk or sober, your boy ain't suposed
- 1:15:27Speaker 4: to hit on your girl. Now, do you confront him
- 1:15:29Speaker 4: about it?
- 1:15:30Speaker 16: No?
- 1:15:31Speaker 4: No, just go to the party and just and just
- 1:15:35Speaker 4: keep him at a distance and then you'll see again.
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: Wow. And if he hit on your girl again, you
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: ain't got to You ain't got to jump on him.
- 1:15:45Speaker 4: Just step up. You can step to him and say, hey, man,
- 1:15:47Speaker 4: second time you done disrespect me. Now from this day forward, man,
- 1:15:52Speaker 4: just stay clear of me because I'm not I'm not
- 1:15:54Speaker 4: gonna take it again. And let it be at that,
- 1:15:58Speaker 4: because try to keep it it is with just words.
- 1:16:01Speaker 4: He didn't touch the dipple, he ain't kiss on nothing
- 1:16:06Speaker 4: like that.
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: You know, he didn't.
- 1:16:07Speaker 4: Assault her, you know, just walk up, you know, cup
- 1:16:11Speaker 4: up like a hug and he had been a back.
- 1:16:13Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying, what one, come on? You
- 1:16:22Speaker 4: know what I'm saying, Ye, sir, I ain't never been hugged.
- 1:16:27Speaker 4: I don't hugged the chicken dipped it.
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: Before wow, like on the dance floor when you yeah, okay.
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: I'm talking about straight bed hug back.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: All right, we have time for another one, and we
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: do get it. Thank you.
- 1:16:42Speaker 9: This is from Maya on Steve Overhaul. Maya says my
- 1:16:46Speaker 9: younger sister and I listened to this one, Stee. My
- 1:16:49Speaker 9: younger sister just moved in with me in a city
- 1:16:52Speaker 9: about an hour from where we grew up. I've been
- 1:16:55Speaker 9: here for a couple of years, but this is her
- 1:16:57Speaker 9: first time living away from home. The other she got
- 1:17:00Speaker 9: really drunk and ended up in a situation that could
- 1:17:03Speaker 9: have gone badly if things had played out differently. Nothing
- 1:17:07Speaker 9: serious happened, thankfully, but it shook me. I told her
- 1:17:10Speaker 9: she needs to be more careful, especially since she's new
- 1:17:14Speaker 9: here and doesn't know people or the area. Yet she
- 1:17:17Speaker 9: got defensive and told me to mind my own business.
- 1:17:20Speaker 9: I get that she's an adult, but I also feel
- 1:17:23Speaker 9: some responsibility since she's living with me and still figuring
- 1:17:27Speaker 9: things out. Am I out of line for trying to
- 1:17:29Speaker 9: look out for her? Or do I need to sit
- 1:17:32Speaker 9: back and let her make her own mistake?
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: Yes? No, no, no, just tell her. You gotta tell her.
- 1:17:39Speaker 4: See, what you don't want is to know something can happen,
- 1:17:42Speaker 4: then sit there until it happens. When you could have
- 1:17:45Speaker 4: said something that could have been a warning statement. Sometimes
- 1:17:49Speaker 4: when you talk to people like that, when you approach them,
- 1:17:52Speaker 4: it's they're embarrassed. So now they telled you mind your
- 1:17:55Speaker 4: own business, right because now.
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: You know she was drunk. She know you know she
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: let this guy go too far. You saw it where
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: it could have got out of hand.
- 1:18:05Speaker 4: Not she embarrassed. But you have to just keep telling people,
- 1:18:09Speaker 4: man that you love Hey bro, Hey man. I told
- 1:18:13Speaker 4: the dude one time that I noticed that's drinking too much.
- 1:18:16Speaker 4: I say, hey bro, you need to pull up a
- 1:18:17Speaker 4: little bit. No, I got it, man, I'm good.
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: Uh, I'm good.
- 1:18:21Speaker 4: I said, all right, man, I'm just letting you know
- 1:18:23Speaker 4: every you drink every time. Wow, hey man, I said,
- 1:18:28Speaker 4: I got it. I said, okay, cool, Wow. Now out
- 1:18:30Speaker 4: of told you. But if you keep on, I'm just
- 1:18:33Speaker 4: gonna tell you.
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: Now, but list is her little sister.
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: Don't call me Tomo. Can you help me with my bills? Man?
- 1:18:43Speaker 4: Because I gotta go rehab six weeks and I ain't
- 1:18:46Speaker 4: gonna be able to work.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: No, I told you.
- 1:18:49Speaker 9: All right, some more Steve show coming up for twenty
- 1:18:54Speaker 9: minutes after. Right after this, you're listening to the Steve
- 1:18:58Speaker 9: Harvey Morning Show. Okay, Steve, the fifteen year old young man.

- 1:25:25Speaker 9: Thank you guys for listening. As always, Junior, you have
- 1:25:28Speaker 9: a question to take us out, Yeah.
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: Let's talk about this all.
- 1:25:32Speaker 10: I want to get your insight on something month about
- 1:25:35Speaker 10: becoming a better person.
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: The intent.
- 1:25:38Speaker 17: You know, I know you always talk about you weren't you,
- 1:25:40Speaker 17: weren't this person you are today? And what was the
- 1:25:43Speaker 17: process of you evolving into the Steve Harvey that you
- 1:25:45Speaker 17: are today versus the Steve Harvey that you are were
- 1:25:48Speaker 17: back then?
- 1:25:50Speaker 4: Just the everlution. It was a series of mistakes. It's
- 1:25:57Speaker 4: a series of mistakes repeated, not not the same mistake,
- 1:26:04Speaker 4: but a series of mistakes. And I think the average
- 1:26:07Speaker 4: person doesn't understand that that, you know. I mean, let's
- 1:26:13Speaker 4: take for example, we as parents, you know, we get
- 1:26:15Speaker 4: so mad at our kids for making mistakes, but we
- 1:26:17Speaker 4: often forget we made all of them. We did the
- 1:26:21Speaker 4: same thing. You know, how could you I told you? Yeah,
- 1:26:27Speaker 4: I know, you told them, but they still have to
- 1:26:30Speaker 4: make the mistakes. I'm so sick of you out here,
- 1:26:35Speaker 4: just keep messing up. They have to make the mistakes. Now,
- 1:26:41Speaker 4: there are some kids who make more mistakes than others,
- 1:26:45Speaker 4: but that's usually because they trying more stuff than others.
- 1:26:49Speaker 4: And a lot of their mistakes that you make, that
- 1:26:53Speaker 4: your children make, that I made well because I was
- 1:26:57Speaker 4: in the process of coming who I am. All of
- 1:27:03Speaker 4: these mistakes shape you because that they're not they're lessons.
- 1:27:11Speaker 4: Every time you make a mistake, it's a lesson. It's
- 1:27:15Speaker 4: called experience. There's a saying that says experience is priceless.
- 1:27:23Speaker 4: It's a shame. You have to pay for it with
- 1:27:26Speaker 4: your youth. All of who we are today cost us
- 1:27:31Speaker 4: our youth. That's the price we all pay. We pay
- 1:27:37Speaker 4: for maturity, we pay for wisdom, we pay for understanding,
- 1:27:42Speaker 4: we pay for knowledge, all of it.
- 1:27:46Speaker 2: The price is our youth.
- 1:27:49Speaker 4: I can't tell you how many times we've all said,
- 1:27:52Speaker 4: if I only knew then what I know now, I
- 1:27:56Speaker 4: wouldn't have done this. I would as should that could
- 1:28:00Speaker 4: have been that done that? Well, you can't know it
- 1:28:03Speaker 4: all then, because you haven't paid the price. What I
- 1:28:11Speaker 4: want everybody to understand is.
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: You've got to.
- 1:28:18Speaker 4: Appreciate all of the mistakes because whether you want to
- 1:28:24Speaker 4: hear this or not, those mistakes are shaping you. Those
- 1:28:29Speaker 4: mistakes are molding you into who you need to become.
- 1:28:35Speaker 4: It's the price you have to pay. I've noticed that
- 1:28:41Speaker 4: I've made way more mistakes than a lot of people
- 1:28:45Speaker 4: I know. Well, I've tried a lot of more things too,
- 1:28:51Speaker 4: now I've been putting it in.
- 1:28:54Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:28:57Speaker 4: I've also noticed that, I say, I seem to have
- 1:29:00Speaker 4: a lot more recorded losses than people I know. You
- 1:29:08Speaker 4: know what I'm saying. I was talking with one of
- 1:29:09Speaker 4: my buddies last year, and you know, he's on Facebook
- 1:29:14Speaker 4: a lot and all this here, and you know he's
- 1:29:16Speaker 4: retired one of my dear friends. He said, Man, I
- 1:29:22Speaker 4: don't know how you did it. He said, Man, the
- 1:29:26Speaker 4: stuff that they say about you that I know ain't
- 1:29:29Speaker 4: true because I'm a friend of yours. He said, I
- 1:29:31Speaker 4: don't know how you deal with that, because I've had
- 1:29:36Speaker 4: to deal with it because it is a part of
- 1:29:40Speaker 4: who I have become. When you famous, man, you open
- 1:29:46Speaker 4: to people's opinion about you that you don't even know.
- 1:29:51Speaker 4: And that's both ways. Whether they love you really appreciate you,
- 1:29:55Speaker 4: or they can't stand you. Most people that can't stand
- 1:29:59Speaker 4: me don't even know me, but they've made an opinion.
- 1:30:07Speaker 4: I think I heard somewhere that poor people talk about
- 1:30:12Speaker 4: other people. Medium income people talk about events, things that happen.
- 1:30:23Speaker 4: Poor people talk about other people, and rich people talk
- 1:30:28Speaker 4: about ideas. And I've just kind of noticed that. But
- 1:30:37Speaker 4: the poor all they do is talk about other people,
- 1:30:44Speaker 4: but people who have jobs and careers and families and stuff,
- 1:30:48Speaker 4: and they talk about events, which ain't a bad thing,
- 1:30:55Speaker 4: and rich people they always talking about ideas.
- 1:31:00Speaker 2: So what happens is.
- 1:31:03Speaker 4: I started off talking about people, and then I started
- 1:31:09Speaker 4: talking about events, and then I started realizing, Man, I
- 1:31:12Speaker 4: want to make some of those events happen. So I
- 1:31:14Speaker 4: started coming up with ideas. And I've just been involved
- 1:31:22Speaker 4: in so many events and ideas that it has caused
- 1:31:27Speaker 4: me to make so many mistakes. But all those mistakes
- 1:31:33Speaker 4: shaped who I am today, and all of your mistakes
- 1:31:36Speaker 4: are doing the same thing for you. Don't get bothered
- 1:31:40Speaker 4: by the mistakes, because they gonna take you somewhere. If
- 1:31:44Speaker 4: you just keep the faith and keep your head up,
- 1:31:48Speaker 4: you'll be okay. You're gonna be just fine. Those are
- 1:31:51Speaker 4: my clothes remarks today. Hope you got something from it. Hey,
- 1:31:54Speaker 4: y'all talk to God today. He would absolutely love, and
- 1:31:58Speaker 4: I mean love to hear from you. I had a
- 1:32:00Speaker 4: good talk with him this morning too, y'all. Stay in peace.
