- 0:13Speaker 1: them like a million bucks bus things in the stubbings
- 0:19Speaker 1: me good, listen to the other for st Please, I

- 1:24Speaker 1: You gotta turn to turn them out. Turn you haven't
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn them out. Then turn the water the
- 1:47Speaker 1: water go. Come, come on your fad uh huh, I
- 2:02Speaker 1: shall will Good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 1: come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:09Speaker 1: Man got a radio show, man, Yeah, I do. Steve
- 2:14Speaker 1: Harvey got a radio show because I can't tell it
- 2:19Speaker 1: to you any other way. Because God has been so
- 2:23Speaker 1: so very amazing to me. But the same God, and
- 2:29Speaker 1: there is but one that same God is. It can
- 2:35Speaker 1: and will be amazing in your life if you just
- 2:39Speaker 1: allow it to happen. You know. I was somewhere, you know,
- 2:44Speaker 1: and I was driving on the freeway somewhere, and I
- 2:47Speaker 1: saw bill board and it was a guy in a
- 2:54Speaker 1: field on his knees. And on this billboard it said
- 2:58Speaker 1: something to the act when when you've run out of answers,
- 3:06Speaker 1: try prayer. I was, I was going somewhere, and I
- 3:11Speaker 1: don't even remember I go so much. Man, I was
- 3:15Speaker 1: just going somewhere and I saw this billboard and I
- 3:19Speaker 1: thought about that. And man, I cannot tell you how
- 3:25Speaker 1: true of a statement that is. When you've run out
- 3:29Speaker 1: of answers, when you don't know what to do, when
- 3:33Speaker 1: you feel weak, when you are at a low point,
- 3:37Speaker 1: when things just seem to keep happening to you, and
- 3:41Speaker 1: you don't understand why prayer is an amazing weapon. Prayer
- 3:48Speaker 1: is available to all of us. Here's a deal. You
- 3:54Speaker 1: don't have to go through the all of that you're
- 3:57Speaker 1: going through alone. See, And I'm talking to men, women, boys, girls, students, leaders, bosses, employees.
- 4:08Speaker 1: I don't care what's happening. I don't care what your
- 4:10Speaker 1: situation is. I don't care if your relationship is all
- 4:14Speaker 1: jacked up. I don't care if your kids and your
- 4:17Speaker 1: relationship is jacked up. I don't care if your relationship
- 4:22Speaker 1: at work is shot. Your coworkers seem to always make
- 4:26Speaker 1: you the buddy end of the joke. You always somebody
- 4:29Speaker 1: always talking about you behind your back. You're finding it
- 4:32Speaker 1: more and more necessary to try to hold your head
- 4:35Speaker 1: up and walk past these people when some days you
- 4:38Speaker 1: can't even get your chin up off your chest. If
- 4:42Speaker 1: you're a woman out there and you've been alone by
- 4:44Speaker 1: yourself for so long and you're just tired of being alone,
- 4:48Speaker 1: you really want a relationship, you really want to be
- 4:52Speaker 1: have a mate, you want to meet your soul mate,
- 4:55Speaker 1: whatever it is, whatever it is, prayer is the answer.
- 5:02Speaker 1: You are listening to a guy who is a direct
- 5:06Speaker 1: recipient of prayer. I can't tell you anything that I've
- 5:12Speaker 1: gotten out of that I didn't pray about. Oh, now,
- 5:17Speaker 1: there are a lot of things. Hold on, let me
- 5:19Speaker 1: backtrack a little bit. There are a lot of things
- 5:21Speaker 1: that have happened in my life that I've gotten past
- 5:25Speaker 1: without praying, because I think my Mamma was praying for me.
- 5:28Speaker 1: And then there's this thing that God has called grace
- 5:31Speaker 1: and mercy that he just somehow keeps us all waking
- 5:35Speaker 1: up every day without foot on some form or solid
- 5:39Speaker 1: ground because he's just waiting on us to come to him.
- 5:42Speaker 1: But y'all, if you can implement prayer into your day
- 5:48Speaker 1: every single day, and I'm talking about put it in
- 5:52Speaker 1: there at the top of your day, put it in
- 5:55Speaker 1: there in the middle of your day. Put it in
- 5:57Speaker 1: there when you close your day out, when you're sitting
- 6:01Speaker 1: at your desk and ain't nobody bothering you, that's a
- 6:04Speaker 1: good time. Now, Look, you don't have to make no scene.
- 6:08Speaker 1: You ain't got to let everybody know, Oh I'm spiritual,
- 6:11Speaker 1: I love God, look at me. Oh I'm down, or
- 6:14Speaker 1: you ain't gotta do none of that. Matter of fact,
- 6:16Speaker 1: don't do it for that reason, because if that's your
- 6:18Speaker 1: reason for doing it, that's gonna be your reward. If
- 6:21Speaker 1: you want somebody to just say, oh, they pray every
- 6:23Speaker 1: you know, they pray at lunch and they had a
- 6:25Speaker 1: Bible on their desk and they have a bunch of
- 6:28Speaker 1: highlights in it. If you're sitting it out there so
- 6:30Speaker 1: people can see that that's what you do, then that's
- 6:32Speaker 1: gonna be your reward. Please, No, that's gonna be your reward.
- 6:38Speaker 1: What I want you to do, it's pray. Ask God
- 6:43Speaker 1: for the things the desires of your heart, have a faith,
- 6:48Speaker 1: believe in them. But pray earnestly. Man. I mean, actually
- 6:54Speaker 1: go at it with saying, hey, God, listen to me.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I can't do this without you. I need your help. Listen, man,
- 7:02Speaker 1: I know a lot of people that pray. I know
- 7:05Speaker 1: a lot of it. If I told you the rich
- 7:09Speaker 1: and famous that I talk to that pray constantly, it
- 7:13Speaker 1: would amas you. Go talk to God about it. Man.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Matter of fact, you'd already got yourself into trouble. Go
- 7:20Speaker 1: talk to God about it. You can't see no way out.
- 7:24Speaker 1: You're in a situation. You're thinking about doing something straight crazy.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Pump your brake's partner. Slow down a little bit, my man,
- 7:31Speaker 1: Slow down, don't don't. All you're gonna do is make
- 7:35Speaker 1: a situation worse. Go over there today and talk to God.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Talk to God for real. Just and look, man, you
- 7:45Speaker 1: know what, Man, Sometimes I've gone to God and I've
- 7:48Speaker 1: just said, Hey, God, I don't have a clue. Matter
- 7:52Speaker 1: of fact, I'm so jacked up right now. God, I
- 7:55Speaker 1: don't even really know what to ask you for. I
- 7:57Speaker 1: just need some help. I'm so deep in some mess
- 8:01Speaker 1: right now. Not only can I not see the way out,
- 8:06Speaker 1: I can't see my way round. There's a there's a
- 8:11Speaker 1: poem calling Victus, and the opening line says, out of
- 8:16Speaker 1: the night that covers me black as a pit, from
- 8:21Speaker 1: pole to pole, I thank God for whatever be from
- 8:27Speaker 1: my unconquerable soul that This line is so deep. It
- 8:32Speaker 1: starts off saying, I am in deep trouble. I'm in
- 8:38Speaker 1: a pit, black as a pit from pole to pole.
- 8:43Speaker 1: I'm talking about man. From over there to over there,
- 8:46Speaker 1: it's pitch black and and man, that's man. You've been
- 8:55Speaker 1: in that situation before, y'all, because I have. I'm talking
- 8:58Speaker 1: about black as a pit from pole to pole. God
- 9:04Speaker 1: is there, God is available. God is always standing by.
- 9:11Speaker 1: He just wants you to come to him. See, he's
- 9:16Speaker 1: been coming to you a whole lot of times. He's
- 9:18Speaker 1: presented himself. I can't tell you how many times he's
- 9:22Speaker 1: shown you how good a god he is. He's given
- 9:25Speaker 1: us all grace and mercy without us asking for He's
- 9:28Speaker 1: gotten you through some things. And you looked at him. Who, Man,
- 9:31Speaker 1: I don't know how the hell. Okay, that's cool. I'm cool.
- 9:34Speaker 1: No no, no, no, no, that wasn't cool. That was God.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Pray man, when you out of answers and you don't
- 9:40Speaker 1: know what to do, Pray if you see some trouble coming.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Pray if you already got into it. Pray if you
- 9:47Speaker 1: don't know the answers. Pray if you can't see no
- 9:49Speaker 1: way out pray, pray, man, talk to God. Don't make
- 9:53Speaker 1: a scene, just talk to God. All right, very important.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening show ladies and gentlemen. Let me have you
- 10:05Speaker 1: undivided attention. It's about time. It's about to go down
- 10:09Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey, Marty show Man Live and Well, Oh,
- 10:13Speaker 1: Man on Man on Man, Hey, Charley Strawberry, Mouth to
- 10:17Speaker 1: the South, Carlin Prell, and me. Tommy's on vacation. That's
- 10:23Speaker 1: the show, because you know he gotta take vacation anytime
- 10:27Speaker 1: he'd do a workload that's excessive, too much. Yeah, if
- 10:32Speaker 1: he worked seven days in a row, he got to
- 10:35Speaker 1: take a week off. And the funny thing, oh, go ahead, No,
- 10:45Speaker 1: I'm just saying. The funny thing about what makes me
- 10:48Speaker 1: laugh about this Steve is that we never really paid
- 10:52Speaker 1: attention to it. It's stuff. For one day my mom
- 10:55Speaker 1: said it. She was like, remember when my mom said
- 10:58Speaker 1: it was years ago. My mom is deceased now. But
- 11:02Speaker 1: she said, um, Temmy, what he doesn't come he doesn't
- 11:06Speaker 1: have to come to work on Mondays after a show. Yeah,

- 11:13Speaker 1: was the first audience member that called off. Yeah. I
- 11:16Speaker 1: had noticed it, but I wasn't allowed to say yes. Yeah, yeah,
- 11:20Speaker 1: because if I say something then it's hate, right man,
- 11:25Speaker 1: because I'm working. Boy, boy, you ain't working as much
- 11:29Speaker 1: as me. I don't give it damn what you do.

- 23:41Speaker 1: get back at her, and so does my co worker.
- 23:44Speaker 1: Should we lure him back in for a threesome? What good?
- 23:51Speaker 1: But it's going on obviously, have no concern about heaven
- 23:55Speaker 1: or hell. So why would you even call us for advice? Yeah? No,
- 24:01Speaker 1: you should respect them, but you don't respect yourself. So
- 24:05Speaker 1: why you why would you respect them? You a disrespectful
- 24:10Speaker 1: ass chick because you disrespect yourself. Yeah, so now you
- 24:15Speaker 1: want to be disrespectful to this woman, which is further
- 24:18Speaker 1: throws you further and deeper into the disrespected category. That's
- 24:22Speaker 1: why he manned you. Now a matter of fact, that's
- 24:25Speaker 1: why ain't nobody manning you? Because you can't find nobody
- 24:28Speaker 1: to respect you because you don't respect yourself. So yeah,
- 24:32Speaker 1: gone and lure me and what that's gonna do? What
- 24:36Speaker 1: that's gonna do? She and miss Goody two shoes. Maybe
- 24:40Speaker 1: that's what he was looking for. Yes, just tricky, right,
- 24:44Speaker 1: You can't. You can't invite everyone to your wedding anyway.
- 24:48Speaker 1: You just you don't need to be there. You ever
- 24:53Speaker 1: pushing them? Well at all? Alight? Anybody here find any
- 24:59Speaker 1: j calls and you and that other heller stand up
- 25:03Speaker 1: clearing your throat her wedding. Yeah, ruined the wedding? Yeah no, no,
- 25:09Speaker 1: would you invite you to your wed All right? Good
- 25:17Speaker 1: advice the Yello Nissi and Richmond says, my husband owns
- 25:21Speaker 1: a cleaning service and he keeps preaching to me about entrepreneurship.
- 25:25Speaker 1: I don't care to be in business and I'm fine
- 25:28Speaker 1: with working for someone else until I retire. How can
- 25:32Speaker 1: we agree to disagree so he'll stop nagging me? Why?
- 25:36Speaker 1: Why are you in disagreement with your man about that?
- 25:39Speaker 1: He want to be free and you don't. Your husband
- 25:42Speaker 1: gonna have to open the business without you, obviously, Yeah,
- 25:45Speaker 1: support you man, Support you man, give me all the
- 25:48Speaker 1: support he needs. That's my suggestion, because if you don't
- 25:51Speaker 1: somebody else will because we don't want but a couple
- 25:54Speaker 1: of things a woman. We want your loyalty and we
- 25:58Speaker 1: want your support. So can she support him and still
- 26:04Speaker 1: do what she You know, that's the thing. She just
- 26:07Speaker 1: wants him to stop nagging her. She has no interest
- 26:09Speaker 1: in what he's doing. Well, Shirley, I think that he
- 26:13Speaker 1: owns a business and he wants her to open a
- 26:16Speaker 1: business as well, and she's saying she don't want to.
- 26:19Speaker 1: She wants to work for someone else. I think the
- 26:23Speaker 1: problem is she's making negative statements to him to validate
- 26:30Speaker 1: her not wanting to be an entrepreneur and work for
- 26:34Speaker 1: someone else. So he's saying, I'll give you an example.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Don't you want to be free. I don't want to
- 26:40Speaker 1: be free. I want to work for somebody for the
- 26:43Speaker 1: rest of my life until I retire. It's nothing wrong
- 26:46Speaker 1: with that, but damn baby, you can have your own.
- 26:50Speaker 1: But see to justify her position, she make a negative
- 26:53Speaker 1: statement now here come. That's why I sound like he nagged.
- 26:58Speaker 1: But if she would just get into a wee met
- 27:00Speaker 1: with him and go, baby, I'm so proud of you.
- 27:03Speaker 1: You go ahead and be on that bid. I'll support
- 27:06Speaker 1: you anyway. I can, but I'm gonna stay over here
- 27:08Speaker 1: because I feel safer and secure over here. But I
- 27:12Speaker 1: will support you because I thank you right right, I
- 27:15Speaker 1: just ain't doing it yet. Yeah, I agree with that, Steve.
- 27:20Speaker 1: I wholeheartedly agree with that. She could still do her thing,
- 27:23Speaker 1: but support him in that way. We don't have to
- 27:27Speaker 1: quit your job and be and have your own personally, Shirley,
- 27:31Speaker 1: I don't care if you agree, because I'm gonna do
- 27:35Speaker 1: this here. Yeah. And he is doing it. He has
- 27:39Speaker 1: it seen a lot of times. He has to understand. Also,
- 27:44Speaker 1: she not gonna see the vision because God didn't give
- 27:48Speaker 1: her the vision. Right. Everybody can't be an employer, right
- 27:54Speaker 1: because if you ain't got the mindset for that, then
- 27:58Speaker 1: he got to understand. That's what she had, all right.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Last one, Angela and Huntsville says, I'm thirty years old
- 28:06Speaker 1: and my mother is only forty seven years old. It's
- 28:09Speaker 1: very hard to date because my mom and I run
- 28:12Speaker 1: into the same men and we both want to be married.
- 28:15Speaker 1: She has no age range on the men she dates,
- 28:17Speaker 1: and I only want older guys, so we're bound to
- 28:20Speaker 1: have a problem. Can you offer me any dating advice? No? No, No,
- 28:28Speaker 1: I ain't got nothing for you. You and your mom
- 28:31Speaker 1: same club. You and your mom got the same church.
- 28:34Speaker 1: They need to change. Yeah, we're losing you got you
- 28:38Speaker 1: got to change churches and you got to find new club.
- 28:42Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, what but her mom has one of y'all
- 28:47Speaker 1: need to quit going to club. Somebody needs to start
- 28:50Speaker 1: going to the tavern in the wall. Yeah all right,
- 28:56Speaker 1: the VFW, the one of y'all don't have to change.

- 35:48Speaker 1: some justice for Brianna Taylor. We'll talk about it right
- 35:51Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show.
- 35:55Speaker 1: The US Attorney General Merrick Garland and the Department of
- 35:58Speaker 1: Justice announced federal charges against four officers involved in the
- 36:03Speaker 1: March thirteenth, twenty twenty raid that ended in the shooting
- 36:07Speaker 1: death of Brianna Taylor. Finally some kind of justice two
- 36:13Speaker 1: years later, Department. The indictments represent the first time Louisville
- 36:18Speaker 1: police officers have been held accountable for Brianna Taylor's shooting
- 36:22Speaker 1: death in her home. Most of the new charges center
- 36:25Speaker 1: around the faulty warrant that led officers to Taylor's front door.
- 36:29Speaker 1: The backlash against Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron was instantaneous.
- 36:34Speaker 1: White and Cameron, the special prosecutor for the case, bring
- 36:38Speaker 1: similar charges at the Kentucky state level when he had
- 36:41Speaker 1: the chance. Lnita Baker, one of the Taylor family attorney,
- 36:45Speaker 1: said the federal government had the guts to do with
- 36:48Speaker 1: Daniel Cameron did not the malfeasance that the Kentucky Attorney
- 36:52Speaker 1: General's office showed, and this case shows that his political
- 36:56Speaker 1: career needs to end now. Daniel Cameron is running for
- 37:00Speaker 1: governor of Kentucky. Now that that's not gonna happen. That's
- 37:05Speaker 1: not gonna happen because we're not gonna forget who you are,
- 37:08Speaker 1: what you did, what you stand for, and what you
- 37:10Speaker 1: wouldn't stand for. So we aren't you, brother, but we
- 37:15Speaker 1: aren't voting right now, that's right. Yeah. So I spoke
- 37:19Speaker 1: to uh Benjamin Crump and uh Tiamari and the best
- 37:25Speaker 1: fast pub. That's sister. She said, you don't remember me, girl,
- 37:28Speaker 1: plead you wanted the queen. You are the leaders of
- 37:32Speaker 1: the youth today. Yes, she was excited about the Crump
- 37:37Speaker 1: was excited about the news, and so congratulations. This is
- 37:42Speaker 1: a step in the right direction. There's some justice being done,
- 37:46Speaker 1: not enough, but there are some. We are moving in
- 37:49Speaker 1: the right direction. But we are only in this direction
- 37:52Speaker 1: because we continue to apply pressure. We can't stop. That's right, Steve.
- 37:57Speaker 1: We're gonna show up at these polls to be even more.
- 38:01Speaker 1: This is an election year, y'all. Warning is on the ballot. Also,
- 38:05Speaker 1: office is on the ballot. Stacy Abrams is on the
- 38:08Speaker 1: ballot in Georgia, and we got important people all around.
- 38:12Speaker 1: I don't know everybody's name, but we're going to the
- 38:15Speaker 1: polls because we are tired of the minority telling the
- 38:19Speaker 1: majority what to do. If we'd have got to impose
- 38:23Speaker 1: the right way and not let Trump being in the beginning,
- 38:26Speaker 1: we wouldn't have the reversal of Row versus Wade, because
- 38:30Speaker 1: we could have determined who the Supreme Court justice would
- 38:34Speaker 1: have been. But now we let him put a bunch
- 38:36Speaker 1: of them in there, having on everybody else. Now, look
- 38:39Speaker 1: where we at. Yeah, Okay, we vote, yep, that's right.
- 38:44Speaker 1: Go to when we all vote dot org. When we
- 38:46Speaker 1: all vote dot org to register. Please, it's an important election.
- 38:50Speaker 1: They all are important. This one's important too, but it's important.
- 38:56Speaker 1: And Louisville, you got an assignment you having. I'm Daniel Camera.
- 39:01Speaker 1: Come on, y'all know what to do? You know what?
- 39:03Speaker 1: Ye all? Right? Coming up at thirty four minutes after
- 39:08Speaker 1: the hour, we'll check Steve's voicemail at eight seven seven
- 39:11Speaker 1: twenty nine Steve eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve. Right
- 39:14Speaker 1: after this you're listening show. It is time now that
- 39:21Speaker 1: I would just like to say, if you all hear
- 39:23Speaker 1: my voice on the radio being a little windy, it's
- 39:26Speaker 1: because my stupid behind has decided to multitask and I'm
- 39:32Speaker 1: riding my Peloton bike while I'm on the radio. Wonderful
- 39:36Speaker 1: ignitt ass ideal, wonderful ignt as. Thank you. It's time
- 39:43Speaker 1: now Steve to check your voicemail. If you want to
- 39:46Speaker 1: leave Steve a voicemail, call him eight seven seven twenty nine. Steve.
- 39:49Speaker 1: Now this caller, this first caller, Steve has a legal
- 39:52Speaker 1: question for you. Thank you, Harvey, huge fans. Since like
- 39:55Speaker 1: King of Comedy, I'm black, So there's that. We got
- 39:59Speaker 1: that in comedy, Um, I thought, um, Steve Harvey, court,
- 40:04Speaker 1: I want to say, and I don't want to take
- 40:07Speaker 1: this a small claims court, but a friend of mine
- 40:09Speaker 1: backed my car into a parking garage like railing right
- 40:14Speaker 1: and mess up. The trump had to pay for it,
- 40:17Speaker 1: damages an individual who drove it at the time chills
- 40:20Speaker 1: up to pay me back and it's like a hundred bucks.
- 40:22Speaker 1: And they promised me, They had tech messes and said
- 40:24Speaker 1: they promise I get in the pay it and it
- 40:27Speaker 1: didn't pay me. And I want to know if I
- 40:29Speaker 1: can take this individuals to your court and possibly I
- 40:33Speaker 1: don't know, frushrons individuals to give me my money. It
- 40:36Speaker 1: would be nice, It would be nice to brilliance. Yeah,
- 40:39Speaker 1: did he say it was one hundred dollars? That's what
- 40:41Speaker 1: it sounds like. He said, yeah, if I couldn't make
- 40:44Speaker 1: it out, But yeah, small claims court goes up to
- 40:48Speaker 1: ten thousand dollars. If it's one hundred dollars. This is
- 40:52Speaker 1: called a bout lesson. This partner right here so called
- 40:56Speaker 1: free and can no longer come to me to ball
- 40:59Speaker 1: money or my car ever again. And it's gonna cost
- 41:03Speaker 1: me one hundred dollars to relieve myself from ever having
- 41:07Speaker 1: a deal with an unreliable person like this. I think
- 41:11Speaker 1: that's a great one hundred dollar investment. Now you can
- 41:15Speaker 1: come to my court for the hundred dollars and we
- 41:17Speaker 1: probably won't take the case since it ain't but a hundred,
- 41:21Speaker 1: but we'll fly you in, pay for everything, and put
- 41:23Speaker 1: you on TV and pay you to be on TV.
- 41:26Speaker 1: I'm just giving you the verdict now, and you're gonna
- 41:28Speaker 1: win a hundred dollars, But now you're gonna take a
- 41:31Speaker 1: couple of days off work, mess up several hundred dollars
- 41:35Speaker 1: and your ass trying to win a hunting When a
- 41:38Speaker 1: hundred ain't really a loss, it's a victory on your
- 41:41Speaker 1: side at the table. I can't tell you. When I
- 41:44Speaker 1: get the opportunity to buy a person out of my life,
- 41:47Speaker 1: I take full advantage of it. Okay, you don't want
- 41:49Speaker 1: to pay me the money back? Cool? You can't ever
- 41:52Speaker 1: ask me for nothing else. And I ain't got to
- 41:55Speaker 1: take your phone call no more. And every time you
- 41:57Speaker 1: do run up into me, I have the right to
- 41:59Speaker 1: open the conversation. Hey man, all that's good. You got
- 42:02Speaker 1: my money. Thank you very much, appreciate your call. All right, yeah,
- 42:09Speaker 1: all right, judge, Steve, all right, this calor says that
- 42:12Speaker 1: they could relate when you talked about having regret. Steve
- 42:16Speaker 1: Haysteve Parnvey. My name is Sean Hill Wiggins. I was
- 42:19Speaker 1: talking from Shreeport, Louisiana. You were talking about living with regret.
- 42:25Speaker 1: I might I must say, I use your podcast in
- 42:29Speaker 1: my sessions. I'm a behavior health therapist. You were talking
- 42:32Speaker 1: about regret. I know that story around too well. I'm
- 42:37Speaker 1: you know forty two. I went back to school and
- 42:40Speaker 1: then losing a relationship that I just I thought I
- 42:46Speaker 1: had it all together on the outside of seem like
- 42:48Speaker 1: I did, but there were a few things that I
- 42:50Speaker 1: gave up on, like school, It wasn't until God took
- 42:54Speaker 1: a lot of things from me. I went back. I
- 42:57Speaker 1: went back at the age forty I finished. I didn't
- 43:01Speaker 1: have that much longer ago. But I still live with
- 43:04Speaker 1: that regret of what if I would have finished at
- 43:06Speaker 1: the age twenty three. If I'm doing good for myself now,
- 43:09Speaker 1: who knows what I could have been. Who knows what
- 43:14Speaker 1: my mom would have felt if she would have saught
- 43:16Speaker 1: me while across this face. I'm doing decent for myself.
- 43:20Speaker 1: But the story of this story. You're just tall. I
- 43:23Speaker 1: know the all I just wanted to call in that
- 43:28Speaker 1: touched my heart. Keep doing what you're doing. Believe or not,
- 43:32Speaker 1: you are inspiring, you arelifting, and you're given some of
- 43:37Speaker 1: us confirmation and hope, and then we're able to pass
- 43:42Speaker 1: that alone to others. Keep doing what you're doing. I
- 43:46Speaker 1: love it. I love it. I love it. Thank you, Uncle,
- 43:49Speaker 1: I pleash well. Thank you for the testimonial all of
- 43:54Speaker 1: my regrets. I've moved on past it, and I don't
- 43:57Speaker 1: let them regrets hold me and taught me to my
- 44:00Speaker 1: past because it only flocks the window of my future.

- 47:42Speaker 1: You roll man stuff for me. And that's what real
- 47:44Speaker 1: men do. You know what I'm saying. That's what I did.
- 47:46Speaker 1: That's how I got my Rachel's. That's stuff that's not hard.
- 47:50Speaker 1: You're trying to sit up there in front of lunch
- 47:52Speaker 1: with us every day for the past year. I'll tell
- 47:56Speaker 1: you what, bro it may not be today, it may
- 47:59Speaker 1: be the mark soon. Soon you're gonna see me me.

- 48:11Speaker 1: I'm done, okay, like I'm saying, I'm not trying to

- 48:34Speaker 1: actually hold down a home, pay the bills, everything, the family,
- 48:38Speaker 1: the kids in, fixing the yards and fences. And you
- 48:42Speaker 1: don't know nothing about that. All you know about it,
- 48:44Speaker 1: you know, roast wife can't even go to work without
- 48:47Speaker 1: like you, trying to step ahad And don't mean no

- 49:03Speaker 1: you're gonna see me and I'm gonna see you and
- 49:04Speaker 1: I can't. What's it? What's your son? Heard me school?
- 49:09Speaker 1: I would come to see yo by tomorrow. Son. I
- 49:12Speaker 1: mean you Derek. That's your name, right, Dereka. My name

- 49:21Speaker 1: smiling face in my wife's face. I'm gonna do Rachel
- 49:23Speaker 1: when I see it. He can Please believe that. Please
- 49:26Speaker 1: believe that talked to about a little friend at lunch
- 49:29Speaker 1: and like the hell getting my nub anyway, I got
- 49:32Speaker 1: still know how to Rachel phone. But that's besides my
- 49:36Speaker 1: first phone. John. Ain't that cool? I don't. I ain't
- 49:39Speaker 1: never heard of no dance before the day. And what's
- 49:41Speaker 1: sudden you calling me talking about you? Was at lunch
- 49:43Speaker 1: every day with wife and you know it's a friendly
- 49:47Speaker 1: lunch date. Just word it. Really, I don't know how
- 49:51Speaker 1: you just do friendly? I know about all that. You
- 49:53Speaker 1: ain't fulling me. You got no like you who prey
- 49:57Speaker 1: on Mary women all the time because they like you.
- 50:01Speaker 1: But that's like I said, it's gonna change from sho okay, dog,
- 50:05Speaker 1: here's here's what you don't know. What you don't know
- 50:07Speaker 1: is is Tommy. Tommy be pushing up on the more
- 50:09Speaker 1: than me Tommy Tommy, Tommy, Tommy is always pushing up
- 50:15Speaker 1: on her. Tommy, the one you need to be worried about.

- 50:38Speaker 1: Did this mean? Man? May I should have come down
- 50:43Speaker 1: to man? Man I am now, I was gonna you know,
- 50:50Speaker 1: and I think I'm burn that building down. You don't
- 50:52Speaker 1: even know. Hey, I'll right, Tommy, is this reprediction? Somebody
- 50:57Speaker 1: gonna buck you up? For real? Y'all? You just play man,
- 51:02Speaker 1: y'all trippy a man? Check it out. You gotta tell
- 51:05Speaker 1: me this man, what is the baddest radio show in
- 51:08Speaker 1: the lane? Only the Steve Harvey Morning Show? Man? Of course?
- 51:13Speaker 1: All right, now, that is that's it. That's all you got. No, no, no, no,
- 51:19Speaker 1: you're not great all of that. Yeah, you gotta do
- 51:22Speaker 1: praise and worships? Yeah, worship? How are you let me
- 51:28Speaker 1: get into it? Huh what? Yeah? You're the king of pranks? Yeah?
- 51:36Speaker 1: Your best that ever did it. Yeah, you're wonderful. I
- 51:41Speaker 1: like how he keeps saying hun though he keeps saying
- 51:43Speaker 1: it over and over like we heard the first time. Yeah,
- 51:47Speaker 1: just keep saying what you're the best man. I'm stupid, man,
- 51:55Speaker 1: I'm real man. I mean, I uh go right back
- 52:01Speaker 1: to the UK's him well, since he's not here. Yeah,
- 52:14Speaker 1: I would like to make a partial compliment that the
- 52:17Speaker 1: pranks are a big part of this show, and he
- 52:20Speaker 1: probably does it's better than anybody I've ever seen. But
- 52:26Speaker 1: after that though, the worship, the self worship, it's really
- 52:31Speaker 1: bothersome to me, and I really think that we should
- 52:33Speaker 1: have do some type of intervention. So this is what
- 52:37Speaker 1: I'd like to do on his next time when he
- 52:39Speaker 1: come back at this vacation. Next time he do pranks,
- 52:44Speaker 1: turn his mic off and just let saying Junior talk
- 52:48Speaker 1: about poets or anything. Okay, but leave him on the
- 52:53Speaker 1: lease off. But turned his mic off, drive him crazy.
- 52:58Speaker 1: And then the whole time he talked, we've talked over
- 53:00Speaker 1: top of him ball sports. So you mean this? You
- 53:04Speaker 1: mean this? Huh? Okay, Hey, oh, let's just gone. All
- 53:09Speaker 1: that is just him talking. He's just only hearing it. Yeah,
- 53:13Speaker 1: that's a plan. I can't wait. I know, let's just
- 53:16Speaker 1: try Let's just try it. That's gonna drive him nuts.
- 53:20Speaker 1: It is all right, thank you, Junior. Coming up next
- 53:23Speaker 1: to Strawberry Letter for today. The subject is is he

- 54:08Speaker 1: reading your letter live on the air, just like we're
- 54:11Speaker 1: gonna read this one. We're reading today right here, right now,
- 54:15Speaker 1: all right, everybody, is time for the Strawberry Letter with
- 54:18Speaker 1: my good friend Shirley straw Berry. All right, thank you, Junior.
- 54:21Speaker 1: The subject is is he really a loser? Dear Stephen, Shirley,
- 54:27Speaker 1: I'm thirty eight years old, and I've been on a
- 54:29Speaker 1: few dates with a forty year old man that lives
- 54:32Speaker 1: with his sister. For our first date, we met up
- 54:35Speaker 1: at a miniature golf place and his sister dropped him off.
- 54:39Speaker 1: He lied and said it was an uber, but when
- 54:42Speaker 1: I offered to take him home after the date, he
- 54:44Speaker 1: admitted that his sister dropped him off because he knew
- 54:47Speaker 1: I would see that car at his house. For our
- 54:51Speaker 1: second and third dates, I picked him up. He paid
- 54:54Speaker 1: the bill all three times, and he was nice to
- 54:56Speaker 1: the waitresses. I enjoy his company and he makes me live.
- 55:00Speaker 1: Since we met, he's been talking about moving into his
- 55:04Speaker 1: own place. I met his sister when I picked him
- 55:06Speaker 1: up for the fourth date, and she said that her
- 55:09Speaker 1: brother has never brought a woman home in the two
- 55:12Speaker 1: years he's been living there, so I knew the whole
- 55:15Speaker 1: moving out thing was yet another live I have a
- 55:18Speaker 1: friend that owns a soul food restaurant, and she wanted
- 55:21Speaker 1: us to have dinner at her restaurant so she could
- 55:24Speaker 1: meet him, So that's where we had our fourth date.
- 55:27Speaker 1: We ate good and danced a little after dinner. When
- 55:31Speaker 1: the check came, he did not touch it. After about
- 55:35Speaker 1: ten minutes, I asked him to go ahead and pay
- 55:38Speaker 1: because the restaurant was about to close. He said, my
- 55:41Speaker 1: friend insisted that we come there to eat, so she
- 55:44Speaker 1: should take care of our meals and drinks. I could
- 55:47Speaker 1: not believe him, and there was no changing his mind,
- 55:51Speaker 1: so I gave the waitress my card. My girlfriend came
- 55:54Speaker 1: and gave my card back and said my meal was free,
- 55:57Speaker 1: but the loser that I'm sitting with has to pay.
- 56:00Speaker 1: They got into a big argument, and she kept calling
- 56:03Speaker 1: him a loser. I hate she did that because he
- 56:06Speaker 1: was very ashamed and I'm not ready to dump him
- 56:09Speaker 1: just yet. Does he deserve a do over or another chance?
- 56:13Speaker 1: Or is he really a loser? You know? Is he
- 56:19Speaker 1: really a loser? You ask? And the first thing I
- 56:21Speaker 1: say to that, if you have to ask, then there
- 56:24Speaker 1: could be some truth to it. But let's just go
- 56:28Speaker 1: on and get to these other red flags that are
- 56:30Speaker 1: all over this letter. You're dating a man who lives
- 56:33Speaker 1: with his sister, a man who doesn't have a car,
- 56:37Speaker 1: nor does he want to pay for your dinner at
- 56:39Speaker 1: your friend's restaurant, And they got into a big argument
- 56:42Speaker 1: about it. He should have held his tongue, not embarrassed
- 56:45Speaker 1: you in front of your friend. You say you enjoy
- 56:49Speaker 1: his company and that he makes you laugh, but that's
- 56:51Speaker 1: certainly not enough in which to build a relationship. And
- 56:56Speaker 1: I know you have to know that I don't know
- 56:58Speaker 1: what he's going through, meaning I don't know why he's
- 57:01Speaker 1: been living with his sister for the last two years,
- 57:04Speaker 1: maybe he's going through a divorce or something like that,
- 57:07Speaker 1: or why he doesn't have a car. But I do
- 57:10Speaker 1: know he's not ready to date yet, because these are
- 57:13Speaker 1: just some basic things that a grown man should have,
- 57:17Speaker 1: especially if he's trying to, you know, date a woman
- 57:19Speaker 1: and all of that. He should have a place and
- 57:21Speaker 1: a car of his own. I mean, you never mentioned
- 57:23Speaker 1: if he had a job or not, just that he
- 57:26Speaker 1: paid for the first three meals, so I hope he
- 57:29Speaker 1: is employed and that's where he got the money to
- 57:32Speaker 1: pay for the dinners. Other than that, I think you're
- 57:34Speaker 1: wasting your time if you're looking for something serious with
- 57:37Speaker 1: this guy. He has absolutely right now nothing to offer you.
- 57:41Speaker 1: And this is not gonna work. It's not gonna last,
- 57:43Speaker 1: because if you're gonna you're gonna get tired of picking
- 57:47Speaker 1: him up, you know, for the dates and all of
- 57:49Speaker 1: that you said you're not ready to dump him yet,
- 57:51Speaker 1: so that thought is in your mind. I think that
- 57:55Speaker 1: at some point you may have to dump him, So
- 57:58Speaker 1: you know, I don't think this is a good look
- 58:01Speaker 1: for you. I don't think this is a good look
- 58:02Speaker 1: for trying to have a relationship with the man, and
- 58:05Speaker 1: I think you should let this go. Steve Shirley, great answer.
- 58:10Speaker 1: I agree with everything you say. I'm going to tape
- 58:14Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey approach this letter. I'm gonna read you
- 58:18Speaker 1: the subject and then I'm gonna ask you the questions subject,
- 58:22Speaker 1: Is he really a loser? Well, the best way to
- 58:26Speaker 1: do this is I'm gonna read your letter back to
- 58:30Speaker 1: you verbatim, and every time I see loser, I'm gonna
- 58:38Speaker 1: give the loser signal. Let us begin. Dear Stephen Sherley,
- 58:46Speaker 1: I'm a thirty eight year old and I've been on
- 58:48Speaker 1: a few dates with the forty year old man that
- 58:51Speaker 1: lives with this system poor or is that the loser signal?
- 59:00Speaker 1: Let's right down. I think party you old man that
- 59:04Speaker 1: lives with us is starting off as loser. Let's continue.
- 59:09Speaker 1: For our first date, we met up at a miniature
- 59:12Speaker 1: golf place and his sister dropped him off or excusly,
- 59:22Speaker 1: it's two of them. I started to warf at the
- 59:24Speaker 1: first week we met at a miniature golf place, War
- 59:27Speaker 1: War WARF. His sister dropped him off. War you farty.
- 59:39Speaker 1: Next line he lied and said it was a uber
- 59:44Speaker 1: war war war. So far, we ain't finished the first paragraph,
- 59:52Speaker 1: and we've been warning signals at every damn sentence. When
- 59:57Speaker 1: we come back, I will continue to read your letter
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: that you wrote back to you with the warning signal.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: All right, we'll have part two of Steve's response coming
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: up in twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter?
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: Subject is he really a loser? Come on, Steve, whar
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: war back after this. You're listening to Steven Show. All right,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: come on, Steve, Let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: is is he really a loser? Very quickly simply put
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: you asking me and Sherley, is he a loser? I'm
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: gonna read your letter back to you with warning signals
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: that I think he is a loser. Let us begin, then,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: Stephen Sherley, I'm thirty years old, thirty eight years old,
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: and I've been on a few dates with a forty
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: old man that lives with his sister. For our first date,
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: we met up a miniature golf place. His sister dropped
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: him off. He lied and said it was an uber,
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: But when I offered to take him home after the date,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: he admitted his sister dropped him off because he knew
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: I would see the car in the house water. He
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: don't even know how to lie. For our second and
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: third dates, I picked him up. Why we just got
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: to call the damn police now, because the second and
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: third days you had to pick his ass up. That's
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: what it is. That's a baby crying. I don't bring that.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: He paid the bill all three times and was nice
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: to the waitress. H Yeah, got to be He not
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: gonna be nice you picking him up? Yeah, he gonna pay.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: You know why he got to pay. He ain't got
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: no cardo, right, he ain't got by no gas nowhere.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: And then you say live with his sisters or not,
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: he ain't got no rent. So now he didn't paid
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: and it was nice to the waitress. I enjoyed his
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: company and he makes me laugh. Who I know a
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: lot of funny ass broke people. Hell I was one
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: of them. Yeah, I know a lot of funny ass
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: broke people. I was one of them, homeless, says hell,
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: funny is all outdoors who he made me laugh? So
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: damn what since we met, he's been talking about moving
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: to his own place. I met his sister when I
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: picked him up for the fourth date, and she said
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: that her brother has never bought a woman home into
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: two years he's been living at that What You went
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: to the picking for the fourth date and you met
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: his sister and she told you your brother ain't never
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: bought a woman at home. Okay, so you're the only
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: one that can't see here losing. That's why ain't no
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: women been over the house in two years? Because don't
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: nobody believe the stories? So I knew the whole moving
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: thing out was yet another lie. I have a friend
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: that owns it. Now this is a good part. I
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: have a friend that owns a soul food restaurant. She
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: wanted us to after dinner at her restaurant so she
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: could meet. That was where we had our fourth date.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: We ate good and danced a little after dinner. When
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: the check came, he didn't touch it. After about ten minutes,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: I asked him to go ahead and pay because the
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: restauranman was about to close. He said, my friend insisted
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: that we come to eat, so she should take care
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: of our meals and drinks. I could not believe him,
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: and there was no change in his mind. So I
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: gave waitress my card. My girlfriend came and gave me
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: my car back and said my meal was free, but
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: the loser I'm sitting with has to pay. Somebody let
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: railroad cross signed up. So God sent to you a
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: friend to show you something, and God loves you, and
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: he used her to give you the answer to your question,
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: is he a loser? She even said the loser has
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: to pay. They got into a big argument that she
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: kept calling him a loser. That is cause that's how
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: you answer your question in your letter. Ye I hate
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: that she did that. Oh hold on, wait man, I
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: gotta get a different sign for this. Another one. Gott
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: gott dot dot dot got me. Let me read it again.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: I hate that she did that. Dot dot dot dot
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: dot dot got dot. That's stupid. A long. That's the
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: long to go off when you meet people. Now all listen,
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: jumped off. I hate she did that. Come on, man,
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: he was very ashamed, and I'm not ready to dump
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: him yet dot dot dot dot dot dot dot dot
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: dot dot. You ain't ready to dump him yet? Does
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: he deserve a do over or another chance? Is he
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: really a loser? Lady? What's wrong with you? How much info? You?
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: Obviously don't like God or nobody else telling you what
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: to do? Because your friend had explained it to you,
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: and it's clear as a bell. Shelley explained it to you.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: It's as clear as a bell. It's clear to everybody
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: but you. What is wrong with you? Do he deserve it? Man?
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: Stop collecting red flags? Shelly told you his red flags
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: are over the place. Stop collecting them. How many do
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: you need? He ain't got no call, he ain't got
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: no job, he ain't got no round us, he ain't
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: got no places. He Mistan gave him the money for
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: the three days, and she wasn't home when you picked
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: him up a day four, so he couldn't get the
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: money to take you out. You're stupid? Yeah, all right,

- 1:09:28Speaker 1: school team. We're out of time, guys, miss me that
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: town boy. The America's team, they ain't pimps team coming
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: up at the tap of the hour. I think millennials
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: stop were signs of wealth growing up. We'll talk about
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: it right after this you're listening to. So when you're
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: an adult, it's usually pretty obvious to identify someone who
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: is wealthy. But as a kid, your concept of wealth
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: can a little off, and it's not until you grow
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: up that you realize what you thought was a sign
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: of wealth really wasn't. Well now, thanks to the new
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: social media trend on Twitter, millennials are sharing things that
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: they thought were a sign of wealth growing up. For instance,
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: I'll give you theirs and then you guys can come
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: up with your own. Uh. Millennials thought that having a
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: water or ice dispenser in the fridge that meant you
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: were rich. Uh helium balloons? Helium? What if we just
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: had water? Water is free? Oh oh no, not disconnect?
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: Oh your what we was doing? Good? All right? All right?
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: We had a guard hole that stayed hooked up all
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: the time, y'all rich everybody. Hey man, your mom, don't
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: put the rod, don't don't put your holes up, and
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: that you could just go cut your holes on ahead
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: whenever you feel like it, all right. Millennials also thought
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: that a helium balloons, not the kind that you blow
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: up with your mouth and just you know, tape to stuff,
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: but helium balloons that was a sign of wealth that
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: float yeah yeah, oh hell yeah, that could ride off
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: in there, yes, hell yeah yeah. Because we're blowing out
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: balloons up at the party. We had a tape on
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: the wall, right, yeah, you tape them on the wall
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: and put them on the strut. But then you bust
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: one of them, move and just sucking the helium. Dog,
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: so you can talk herself, talk dog. You know how
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: much how hard I get beat if I take one
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: of the health What about this? Millennials thought you were
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: rich if you had a house with the chandelier. Chandelier,
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: that's what they think Richard. Uh yeah, chandelier dog. If
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: you had that lamp with that light on that had
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: the three levels, you could click it on low medium. Yeah,
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you rich remember the old lamp that
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: you had, an old run down that the lamp. If
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: it oil was running down that lamp, we turned it
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: on for nights when we had people coming over. Now
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: do you mean you're talking about lava lamps? Yes, you
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: already know I'm talking about what did you talk about?
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: All Yes, talking about lava least your lia last need
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: to know what it is, the lava lamp. If you
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: hadn't won one of those in your apartment, Hell, y'all
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: had one. Another apartment they had two of the d
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: doing for girls. Ye had blue one an oar. Hell yeah,
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: I love it all right. So millennials thought that if
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: you had one more than one car, you're rich. Voting
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: one we had it. If you had a car, they
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: got driveway, they got a car. Now. No. Millennials also
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: thought if you sat down at dinner at the table
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: to eat as a family, that you're wealthy. Hey. Now
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: let's tell you right now, man, my mom and my
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: daddy we got a picture together. He talking about sitting
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: at the table. Oh, we got no picture. Eat dinner,
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: Eat dinner. That's great, Steve, Yeah, that didn't really, It
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: just appeared I dinner my family. You know, Mike went
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: up my dedicated we couldn't eat it. Heat got home, right,
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: that's right, Mega served first. If he worked out this
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: dinner late. My mom was had table dedical. All right, guys,
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: we'll have more of the Your daddy bought all these
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: grocers in here. You ain't finish for your daddy coming
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: up at twenty minutes after right after this, you're listening
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: to show. Well, guys, there's another reason why people want
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: to work from home. Lysol has just come out with
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: their list of the top ten Jeremiest hotspots in the office.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: All Right, the entrance areas, the elevator buttons, the coffee
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: machine handles, the buttons on the refrigerator door, on the
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: mic away, the kitchen sink, the taps, the handles, the
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: restroom door handles, keyboard and mouse, telephones, shared printers, the
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: TV remote control in the conference room. Those are the
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: germaniest spots in the office. So, Steve, my question to
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: you is do you have any advice on how people
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: can protect themselves from germs if they're back in the office. Yeah,
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: start your ass your own business. Don't go nowhere. That's
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: all I got for you first day. That's what I did.
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: That's what I did. So you don't worry by germs up. Well,
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: I mean I'm concerned with them, but you know, because
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: of all this stuff they got out now. But I
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: wash my hands, I use hand sanitis all the time.
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: You got to go to work, stay your ass home
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: if you want to, h yeah, huh, then you're gonna
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: get that big germ that leads to that big disease, unemployment,
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: talking of poverty. Oh yeah, yeah, that damn disease. It
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: is hard. That's a hard one to live with because
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: it's everywhere. Yes, it is all right, Uh, coming up
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: with thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll play a
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: round I would you rather? Right after this, you're listening
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: to show time now for a round of would you rather?
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: Would you rather? And every single phone call with I
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: love you, or accidentally call your partner the wrong name
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: during a flight, during a fight, I love you, I
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: love you, I love you, everybody, everybody, business people, everything.
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: So you're you're talking, you're talking to your producers, that
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: family fam. I love you and I love it, he said,
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: I mean it. They have a great day. Okay, thank
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: you for you go. I love you part during your
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: Uber driver everybody and appreciate the ride. Love you y'all.
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: Love you. I love you, Mane. Be careful on your
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: next trip. Love me. Okay. Uh. Would you rather spend
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: the rest of your life with a sailboat as your
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: home or an RV as your home? So you want
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: to live in a or an r r R You
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: have no idea what you're asking for with that sailboat
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: RV because you're out there in the element, like what
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: you you know, how big your sailboat got to be? Well,
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: I don't know that. I don't know that. I'm gonna
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: tell you right now. Sailboat no, so yeah, the water,
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: especially with the elements, yeah, uh huh yeah so so
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: we depended on wind. Now, if you give me one
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: of them big yachts and and you dock it, huh
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: oh dog dog, it's like living in like really expensive cribs. Yeah,
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: it's out there. That's way bigger than homesh all right.
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: Would you rather never lose your phone again or never
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: lose your keys again, you never lose your phone. I
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: don't worry about the keys. I can get to hear
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: somebody here. Uh huh. I ain't got keys, do not now?
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: I don't have keys. I gotta keep in my house.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: I got keys to when you when you get to
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: the office and all that foot Steve, did you ever
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: have one of those big rings with a ton of
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: he know how many keys you get right now? How
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: many keys? That guy? Yeah? You ken't ring? How many lets?
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: And three? And I got three houses here? All right?
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: Last one, last one? Would you rather have dogs attack you?
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: Or would you rather have birds attack you when they
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: see you? Yeah? Birds on birds. Yeah, one of y'all
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: gonna get knocked out the air. Yeah, you won't be
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: flying back by one of them. Ain't gonna ain't gonna
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: do no more circling. That's that's today's round of would
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: you rather? Coming up at forty nine minutes after the hour,
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: our last break of the day and closing remarks from
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: the one and only Steve Harvey. Right after this, you're
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: listening to Steve Morning Show. Here we are our last
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: break of the day. I just wanted to remind the people,
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: Steve that today is election day. There are primaries in Connecticut, Minnesota, Vermont,
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: and Wisconsin. Please please vote. This is just a reminder
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: from the entire Steve Harvey Nation. Uh stay, staywalk, Please
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: make sure you're registered to vote and go to when
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: we all vote dot org. Yes, okay, yeah, we got voting.
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: Ye y'all, We're gonna have to vote. This is a
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: voting year. They got to show up at the polls.
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: They counting us out. They think that the voter suppression
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: has worked. They think changing the rules and the laws.
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: What's what's the website? Surely it's when we all vote
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: dot org. People go there to make sure you registered,
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: make sure you understand the rules when we all vote
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: dot org. They are not going to trick us out
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: of this election. We are sick and tired of the
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: minority telling the majority what to do. It's got to
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: stop this way. Hey. My closing remarks is this. You know,
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: I was at Investfest this weekend with his two brothers,
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: man that owned the company, and I was so impressed
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: as I was speaking because I saw so many young
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: people at invest First, I saw a lot of grown
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: people too. And one of the things as I started
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: my speech to them, I imployed young people. I've complimented
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: them as being one of the brightest generations to come
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: along in a long time. Because of technology, it makes
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: access to information so much easier than us. We had
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: to go to libraries and we had to research differently.
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: This generation can google anything, so that gives you access
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: to information and a variety of opinions a lot more
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: readily than us. But I also reminded them not to
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: discount the value of old people because all people have
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: something that you don't have, and it's called experience and
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: it's called success, and those are two things that you
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: cannot google. You can't google success and you can't google experience.
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: You got to live it, and you got to be it.
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: You got to be successful, and you got to live
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: a long time to get all the experience. So please,
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: as you're young and you're talking to old people, realize
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: there as a vac old is the goal. But I
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: was so impressed with the amount of young people that
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: was in invest vest because I really didn't know that
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: we would get to a day while I would see
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: that many people of color willing to spend money to
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: improve their life's conditions. I've always known we'll spend money
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: for movies and entertainment and food and and and and
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: and I've always seen or even on Instagram, people buying
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: expensive items and posting it. And I always knew you'd
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: pay to see your favorite group of your act or
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: you get on the plane and take this one post
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: and do vibe to act like you now world traveler.
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: But I did not know that as many young people
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: will spend money on themselves investing in learning about the future. Now,
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: they're very smart. They threw some entertainment of value in
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: its called entertainment where you get educated and entertained at
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: the same time. But y'all listen to me, start now
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: thinking about your future. I heard a young guy this
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: weekend talking about he don't worry about tomorrow because tomorrow
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: ain't promise. He lives he lives for now today and
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: there's a group of people around him. And surprisingly I
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: saw about four or five people clapping, Yeah, bro, that's
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: how I'm will start a living live for to day.
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: Tomorrow ain't promise. Well, tomorrow's not promise, but tomorrow's do
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: come often, don't they don't they? Now you can live
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: your life as if tomorrow ain't promise, But let's tell
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: the truth. Ain't you're really hoping to see tomorrow? So
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: as I watch these young people applaud, this reminded me
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: of a song about when the Fire, and the line says,
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: gonna find a few to always walk with you, and
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: I don't care what you do, you can find somebody
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: to come into agreement with it. I ain't worried about tomorrow.
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: I'm living my life for today. When the Lord's prayer says,
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: give us this day our daily bread, he does want
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: us to focus on today, and we need strength to
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: get through today. Now I got that you're talking about you.
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: Tomorrow ain't promise, but tomorrow's oftentimes get here. I know
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: a lot of tomorrow's ain't promise, man, but they just
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: kept showing up on me. They kept coming every time
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: I looked up that tomorrow that wasn't promised showed up. Well,
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: you know what I'm glad I did. I'm glad I
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: lived my life for the day with the chance that
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: tomorrow would come. So I got you talking about you
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: ain't worried about tomorrow. You're gonna start living for today,
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: But you better live for today, but act like tomorrow.
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: Jess might get here because that is the goal eventually,
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: ain't it. Nobody wants this to be their last day anyway,
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: So why would you stupidly not prepare for any of tomorrow.
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: So what I'm saying there's some basic things you can do.
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: You can treat people right today because you might see
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: them tomorrow. You can pay your bills today because you
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: might have to stay in that house or that call tomorrow. Hello.
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: You might want to go ahead and get that education
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: today because that might be a requirement to get the
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: job tomorrow. See, you gotta be careful, man, when you're
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: talking to people and they sound real smart, start thinking
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: for yourself. Just because something sound clever in the moment,
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: does this make sense for you tomorrow. I don't listen
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: to people that sound clever all the time. I listened
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: to people that live clever, that have clever results. That's
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: who I watch. Be careful out there who you're listening to,
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: because everybody talking smart ain't living smart. Those are my
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: clothing remarks. Y'all have a great day. Hey, listen, y'all
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: talk to God. He loves you, hear from you. Okay,
