- 2:10Speaker 1: a radio show. What a blessing? This is bad, just
- 2:16Speaker 1: an unforeseen blessing. Man, You know you never know? Can
- 2:20Speaker 1: I tell you the truth? You know when I first
- 2:22Speaker 1: got into radio, a lot of my friends and associates, Ah,
- 2:28Speaker 1: they started spreading the rum with it. You know, Steve
- 2:30Speaker 1: done he out You know he ain't on TV. He
- 2:36Speaker 1: you know, he ain't trying to do movies out here.
- 2:38Speaker 1: He didn't fell off. He had DJ and uh, you
- 2:44Speaker 1: know we're get back because eventually somebody gonna say yes,
- 2:47Speaker 1: someone so sad you wasn't doing good? You're all right?
- 2:50Speaker 1: You know, I've never felt like I wasn't all right,
- 2:53Speaker 1: but that's that's other people. But what they didn't know
- 2:57Speaker 1: and what I didn't really really, you know, I was hoping,
- 3:02Speaker 1: I felt comfortable about it. But what they did not
- 3:05Speaker 1: know was God's plan for me. But they did not
- 3:08Speaker 1: know that what God was gonna do for me. What
- 3:11Speaker 1: they didn't know but how God was gonna show out
- 3:14Speaker 1: for me. And so it's turned into this. I don't
- 3:18Speaker 1: I don't rub it in anybody's face. I don't say, hey,
- 3:20Speaker 1: you see me now, But it just makes me understand
- 3:23Speaker 1: a little bit more. It really ain't mad as God,
- 3:26Speaker 1: as you and God. It's just you and God. So
- 3:29Speaker 1: here's the deal today, I want I wanted to kind
- 3:32Speaker 1: of go over something people ask me all the time.
- 3:34Speaker 1: They say, Steve, how do you do all the things
- 3:37Speaker 1: you do in the course of a day. You do this,
- 3:39Speaker 1: you do this, you do this, and you do this. Okay,
- 3:42Speaker 1: you're ready. Here's the secret. Here's the secret. This is this.
- 3:46Speaker 1: I'm not This is not fooling around or nothing. Here
- 3:49Speaker 1: is the thing I care about every minute of the day.
- 3:57Speaker 1: I actually allocate every minute of the day. I have
- 4:05Speaker 1: a plan that I I'm I recognized the night before,
- 4:10Speaker 1: the week before, the month before, the year before, the
- 4:15Speaker 1: two years before, I got something I want to accomplish
- 4:19Speaker 1: in three years, in five years and ten years. I
- 4:22Speaker 1: talked about it all the time. But but when you
- 4:24Speaker 1: break it down, like I always say, inch by inch,
- 4:26Speaker 1: anything that sinchial, I got it broken down to what's
- 4:30Speaker 1: gonna happen tomorrow, and I've even got it broken down
- 4:33Speaker 1: to what's going to happen every hour that I'm awake.
- 4:38Speaker 1: And then I break that even down a little bit further.
- 4:41Speaker 1: I care about every minute of the day. Okay, Steve,
- 4:44Speaker 1: how can you care about every minute today? Okay, here's
- 4:46Speaker 1: the deal. Some people have it locked in their mind
- 4:53Speaker 1: that I'm gonna get up, I'm gonna go to work,
- 4:56Speaker 1: and when I get off work, as soon as I
- 4:59Speaker 1: get off work, I'm gonna go to happy hour, I'm
- 5:02Speaker 1: gonna stop by the ball, I'm gonna go buy the club,
- 5:05Speaker 1: I'm gonna go get a bill, I'm gonna do one.
- 5:08Speaker 1: I'm gonna chill. Okay. Now, let me ask you something.
- 5:14Speaker 1: If you are not where you want to be in life,
- 5:19Speaker 1: why are you chilling all the time every day? Is
- 5:25Speaker 1: that necessary? Is that gonna get you where you want
- 5:31Speaker 1: to be any faster or does it move you any closer?
- 5:34Speaker 1: And the answer is just flat out and no. Let
- 5:37Speaker 1: me give you an example of what I'm talking about.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Let's say you have a trip that you're gonna take.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Let's say you're in New York and you want to
- 5:45Speaker 1: go to California. I don't know exactly how many miles
- 5:49Speaker 1: that is to three thousand miles something like that. I
- 5:53Speaker 1: don't know how many days that I actually take you,
- 5:55Speaker 1: but I think three days, four tops of steady driving.
- 6:00Speaker 1: You know rest, you know where you got to, but
- 6:03Speaker 1: you can be there in three days if you drive.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Why would you have a goal to go to New York?
- 6:13Speaker 1: From New York to l A realizing how many miles
- 6:17Speaker 1: it is? Somebody hadn told you, because see whatever you're
- 6:19Speaker 1: trying to be, somebody had been there before you. Now,
- 6:22Speaker 1: somebody told you how many miles it was to that?
- 6:25Speaker 1: And why would you get off on all the rest stops?
- 6:32Speaker 1: Why would you get off to have ice cream every
- 6:34Speaker 1: time you see the ice cream? Why would you get
- 6:37Speaker 1: off at the food center every time you saw food?
- 6:40Speaker 1: So why would you get off for gas every time
- 6:44Speaker 1: you saw the gas sign. You don't need gas every
- 6:48Speaker 1: time you see the gas sign. You ain't got to
- 6:51Speaker 1: have an ice cream sign just because they put it
- 6:54Speaker 1: out there. And you ain't got to stop at the
- 6:56Speaker 1: fast food restaurant just because it's at the next exit
- 6:59Speaker 1: to exit down and the billboard is attractive to you.
- 7:04Speaker 1: If you're going somewhere, why don't you go ahead and
- 7:07Speaker 1: get there? See too many times, man, people want to
- 7:11Speaker 1: stop at the rest area, enjoy the sights. Look at
- 7:14Speaker 1: this scenery. Now. I'm not saying you're not supposed to
- 7:16Speaker 1: enjoy life as you go along, But if you ain't
- 7:19Speaker 1: where you wanna be, why don't you go on and
- 7:21Speaker 1: get there? See you, you you cannot. You cannot keep
- 7:26Speaker 1: playing all the time and expect to see the results.
- 7:29Speaker 1: You've got to get committed to what you want. Look, man,
- 7:33Speaker 1: this life will be whatever you want to make it
- 7:35Speaker 1: to be. You know, if you don't have no you
- 7:37Speaker 1: look around and you ain't got nothing. Hey, man, it
- 7:40Speaker 1: really ain't nobody's fault. Now. But if you're not where
- 7:43Speaker 1: you wanna be, why don't you go on and get there?
- 7:46Speaker 1: Stop resting all the time. You don't need to chill
- 7:49Speaker 1: every day. Be about your business. Man, have a sense
- 7:52Speaker 1: of urgency about yourself, your future, your legacy, your children,
- 7:56Speaker 1: the people as responsible with that, the you know, the
- 7:59Speaker 1: people you risk months before, developed a sense of urgency here.
- 8:02Speaker 1: You just cannot, I repeat, you cannot just lollygag your
- 8:08Speaker 1: way through life. And then look up. Now you forty
- 8:11Speaker 1: fifty sixty and you ain't got nothing, and you sent
- 8:14Speaker 1: up been going wow. Man, But look back at your
- 8:16Speaker 1: life and all the years you toasted, I mean, you
- 8:22Speaker 1: cook some years doing nothing. Oh man, how many times, man,
- 8:27Speaker 1: have we done this to ourself? Because I did it
- 8:30Speaker 1: to me. We spent all of my I spent all
- 8:35Speaker 1: of my thirties making up for my twenties. I spent
- 8:42Speaker 1: all I spent thirty one, three, four, five day and
- 8:47Speaker 1: six or something eight thirty nine for that. I spent
- 8:50Speaker 1: all ten of them years making up for my twenties
- 8:56Speaker 1: dropping out of college, when I dropping out, flunking out
- 8:59Speaker 1: of college, the failed carpet cleaning business, the insurance failures,
- 9:05Speaker 1: the restaurant, the carpet cleaning company, the the the stint
- 9:11Speaker 1: at Ford, the stint at Lincoln Electric, General Electric. Um man,
- 9:18Speaker 1: I was just beating myself up. Gotta go to the club.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Quarter Century Club and open up down there on sea
- 9:25Speaker 1: though VAL's Party Center was open. I had to be
- 9:29Speaker 1: at all of them. I had to be Spats, had
- 9:33Speaker 1: to be a Spats man. I'm out here, gambling man,
- 9:37Speaker 1: out of thistle Down Race track. I'm just out here,
- 9:39Speaker 1: just hopping in, hustling man, just blowing my twenties. I
- 9:43Speaker 1: spent all my thirties making up for that. Man. If
- 9:46Speaker 1: I only knew then what I know now, how many
- 9:48Speaker 1: times you didn't said that? If you ain't where you
- 9:50Speaker 1: if you if you're not where you trying to get to,
- 9:54Speaker 1: why aren't you gone and get there? Stop stopping at
- 9:58Speaker 1: all the rest areas. Stop stopping at all the gas stations.
- 10:01Speaker 1: The don't no car burn that much gas where every
- 10:04Speaker 1: time you see a gas station you got to pull in.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Come on, man, put your head down, by your head
- 10:11Speaker 1: and grind. Now. People say, well, what about sleep? Okay,
- 10:17Speaker 1: let's let's let's quickly cover this right here. For people
- 10:20Speaker 1: who care very deeply about sleep, you're not going to
- 10:25Speaker 1: be successful. Sleep cannot mean more than being awake when
- 10:34Speaker 1: you sleep. Man, Well, what about your rest? Get your rest.
- 10:37Speaker 1: I'm not saying you're not supposed to rest, but You
- 10:40Speaker 1: ain't got to sleep eight hours a day. You ain't
- 10:42Speaker 1: got to sleep ten hours a day. You ain't gotta
- 10:45Speaker 1: be in bed at ten and up at eight. You
- 10:47Speaker 1: ain't got to do that. Man, your party don't need
- 10:49Speaker 1: ten hours sleep. Your body really don't need eight hours sleep,
- 10:53Speaker 1: quiet as it's kept. Let me let me tell you
- 10:54Speaker 1: the truth. If you ain't where you wanna be, why
- 10:57Speaker 1: don't you go on and get there. You ain't gonna
- 10:59Speaker 1: get there asleep. I don't care what people tell you. Look, man,
- 11:02Speaker 1: he would. Okay, you can talk to a bunch of
- 11:04Speaker 1: non successful people if you want to. They got a
- 11:07Speaker 1: whole lot of rules for you that don't make no sense.
- 11:10Speaker 1: You know you gotta have a plan. B who told
- 11:14Speaker 1: you that? You know certainly you gotta have eight to
- 11:17Speaker 1: ten hours sleep. Okay, look at what they have now,
- 11:22Speaker 1: listen to them. If they have what you want to have,
- 11:25Speaker 1: listen to them. If your boss is in the car
- 11:28Speaker 1: that you want to follow your boss home one day,
- 11:30Speaker 1: If he's in the car you've always dreamed of being there.
- 11:33Speaker 1: If he pulls up at the house you've always dreamed
- 11:36Speaker 1: of owning, then that's where you need to be. But
- 11:40Speaker 1: guess what he not gonna hire you over him. He's
- 11:46Speaker 1: not gonna let you have his job. So when you
- 11:48Speaker 1: think that position available, but if that ain't the car
- 11:51Speaker 1: you always dreamed of having, and that ain't the car,
- 11:53Speaker 1: and that excuse me, and that ain't the house you
- 11:55Speaker 1: want to pull up in for the rest of your life.
- 11:57Speaker 1: You got to move on, man. You got to get
- 12:00Speaker 1: to where you're going. If you ain't where you wanna be,
- 12:01Speaker 1: why don't you going and get that? Stop resting and chilling, man,
- 12:05Speaker 1: and can concentrate on grinding. Quit caring about sleep so much,
- 12:09Speaker 1: and just get yourself some rest and then get back
- 12:12Speaker 1: up and get at it. That's how you get it, folks.
- 12:15Speaker 1: If you got another way, please email me Steve Harvey
- 12:18Speaker 1: dot com. The email bag is open them. I'm always
- 12:20Speaker 1: interested in here another way where I could slow it down.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Thank you. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Okay, okay,
- 12:32Speaker 1: it's eighteen it's eighteen minutes after the hour. That's what
- 12:36Speaker 1: time it is. Today's Monday. It's eighteen minutes after the hour,
- 12:42Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Many ain't y you ain't alive
- 12:47Speaker 1: and well cooking with grease. That's that's an old school thing.
- 12:53Speaker 1: I like it. Yeah, cooking with greed, final forward set,
- 12:58Speaker 1: Yeah yeah. Carolina steel in it. South Carolina shocked the world.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Oregon is a bit of a surprise. So is Gunzaga.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Mhm U c l A is out. Yeah, that ball boys,
- 13:21Speaker 1: daddy needs to be quiet. You know, he's got some
- 13:27Speaker 1: great kids. Man, he's got some great kids. But the father.
- 13:32Speaker 1: I understand the father being proud of his sons, but
- 13:34Speaker 1: he's he's setting his boys up, tough man, tough act
- 13:39Speaker 1: to follow. He said his son, it's better than Steph
- 13:45Speaker 1: Curry right now, Jesus, and wasn't better than the boy
- 13:55Speaker 1: he was playing against the other day, Oh King. What's
- 14:00Speaker 1: his name? Mhm uh, I don't know, but I'll tell
- 14:06Speaker 1: you what it was. It's tough man. Well, what we're
- 14:10Speaker 1: talking about is do U c l a has a
- 14:13Speaker 1: really great player, last name ball. I can't think his
- 14:15Speaker 1: first name. And he's got a couple of younger brothers
- 14:19Speaker 1: who are in high school ball. And these boys is
- 14:22Speaker 1: getting it man, and their father's great father just shouldn't
- 14:28Speaker 1: be in charge of their career. He's saying too many
- 14:34Speaker 1: of the wolm you're messing it up for him. Actually,
- 14:38Speaker 1: because it's gonna be hard for these kids to live
- 14:40Speaker 1: up to this. He ain't even put his shoes on
- 14:42Speaker 1: in the NBA and then right after the loss, is
- 14:45Speaker 1: this your last season? Yo? Yo? You know like he's
- 14:49Speaker 1: been telling everybody his son is one and done, one
- 14:51Speaker 1: and done. I've heard this one and done comment by
- 14:54Speaker 1: several people I know, parents of these boys that say, yeah,
- 14:59Speaker 1: my son one and done. Okay, one and done, Shirley,
- 15:05Speaker 1: you know what that means. That means, yeah, um, one
- 15:10Speaker 1: one season and then after that they're done. They're they're
- 15:12Speaker 1: gonna go on, move on to the pros or whatever. Girl,
- 15:18Speaker 1: put your hands together for Strawberry. I wasn't even listening.
- 15:25Speaker 1: It tuned out so long ago, but I heard my
- 15:28Speaker 1: name anyway, carry on. So that's what the situation is.
- 15:36Speaker 1: We're just talking about that this morning. But we can
- 15:38Speaker 1: move on to other things. More enlightening that people shared
- 15:41Speaker 1: common ground for a final four set. I'm looking forward
- 15:44Speaker 1: to it. North Carolina felt bad for Kentucky last night.
- 15:48Speaker 1: I did. I was boar bawling. Madness is emotional, huh yo?
- 16:01Speaker 1: Really yeah, sure, Philip, nothing, I'm good shot. Maddness all shoes,
- 16:16Speaker 1: but it is emotional. I saw that player Steve you're
- 16:19Speaker 1: talking about from Kentucky. He was crying on social media. Uh,
- 16:23Speaker 1: just talking about how much he loved his teammates. Oh
- 16:26Speaker 1: that was a Fox, was it Fox? Yeah? I think
- 16:36Speaker 1: he's gonna be good. But this boy out of Oregon,
- 16:38Speaker 1: Dorsey mm hmmm, just worn right him. Man, he pulled
- 16:43Speaker 1: up when he won't too. It's gonna be a good final. Yeah.
- 16:49Speaker 1: When does it start this weekend? Uh? Yeah, sure, Saturday?
- 16:56Speaker 1: Oh okay, good? It ends on Monday? Yeah, always just
- 17:03Speaker 1: the weekend, two games and then a third game to
- 17:06Speaker 1: be championship. Okay, this is exciting. I'm glad. I'm thank you.
- 17:14Speaker 1: I'm so happy to be included in your your little
- 17:17Speaker 1: sports talk. This is great. It's better than the better
- 17:21Speaker 1: than the bill or not being passed, better than Okay,
- 17:26Speaker 1: I'm glad. I was like, I'm all the way up.
- 17:33Speaker 1: I think what the Republicans are seeing. Obamacare has a
- 17:39Speaker 1: lot of really good parts to it. It really really does.
- 17:45Speaker 1: And they've all ran on this platform of replace and
- 17:49Speaker 1: repeal Obamacare like it's the worst thing out there. Well,
- 17:54Speaker 1: the President said it was a disaster. Well, he said
- 17:58Speaker 1: Obamacare wasn't just a US. Yeah, that's what the disaster
- 18:03Speaker 1: was was the party couldn't agree on how to replace
- 18:09Speaker 1: it or repeal it because the moderate Republicans can't go
- 18:13Speaker 1: back to their constituents and go, hey, y'all, ain't got
- 18:17Speaker 1: no more healthcare. We did it because then they asked
- 18:22Speaker 1: her be out of work. Yeah, and then the conservatives,
- 18:29Speaker 1: the ultra conservatives Republicans didn't like it because they considered
- 18:33Speaker 1: it Obama that it was just too many things left
- 18:38Speaker 1: in there from the original healthcare bill. But the things
- 18:42Speaker 1: that's in there, man, you got to have the mm hmm,
- 18:47Speaker 1: I mean a little fixing because some of the premiums
- 18:49Speaker 1: have skyrocketed in certain states, but all insurance rates go
- 18:54Speaker 1: up every year. Trying to act like that don't happen.
- 19:00Speaker 1: But it was not a good thing for this administration
- 19:03Speaker 1: not to get this bill through. Yeah, it's a blow
- 19:06Speaker 1: to his presidency, it is. But that's all right though,
- 19:09Speaker 1: because some conditions is still covered on now jr. Ye good, Yeah,
- 19:23Speaker 1: that was really good. And then you know, um so
- 19:27Speaker 1: now it just looks like they don't know what to do.
- 19:32Speaker 1: They don't have them planning. But then it just goes
- 19:35Speaker 1: to show you they didn't have a plan in the
- 19:39Speaker 1: first Yes, that wasn't a plan. Didn't like Obama all
- 19:45Speaker 1: it was. That was it, And they spent the whole
- 19:51Speaker 1: campaign saying that. But what was alarming was the amount
- 19:54Speaker 1: of people that they were got to these rallies going yeah,
- 19:57Speaker 1: replace it and repeal it. What do y'all talk think about?
- 20:00Speaker 1: Do you understand what that does? Two tens of millions
- 20:05Speaker 1: of America? M h, Well, so you ain't talked to
- 20:13Speaker 1: him since I don't list him? So what you ain't
- 20:16Speaker 1: talked to Donald? Since I list him? Here we go.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Let me ask you something, man, anybody called you about
- 20:24Speaker 1: a damn right there and with something funny. You're listening
- 20:29Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right? Coming up? The
- 20:35Speaker 1: nephew and junior are at it again with right and wrong. Steve,
- 20:38Speaker 1: you have to be the judge again where they get
- 20:42Speaker 1: these things wrong? The constant beef. I don't know. I've
- 20:47Speaker 1: been Tommy's been thinking that's what's wrong with that? What's
- 20:54Speaker 1: wrong with that situation? Who? Oh, come on? You almost
- 21:14Speaker 1: into it? Yeah? I started okay here, Oh you don't.
- 21:21Speaker 1: It's it's I'm trying to follow in your footsteps. Now.
- 21:25Speaker 1: I called and talked to Junior back, do you want
- 21:28Speaker 1: you to stop right here? Off? Okay, just hear me out.
- 21:33Speaker 1: I told Junor that I'm thinking about writing the book,
- 21:38Speaker 1: and I said, if I write, listen to me. If
- 21:40Speaker 1: I write a book about failure and it don't sail,
- 21:46Speaker 1: ain't that call success? See? If I write a book
- 21:54Speaker 1: about failure and it don't sail, ain't that success? See
- 22:02Speaker 1: whether it's sail or not, I win? Uh, because that's
- 22:06Speaker 1: what the book is about. It's about failure either way,
- 22:13Speaker 1: whether whether it's sail or don't sail, I win? You
- 22:17Speaker 1: feel me? Okay? Now? Am I right or wrong on
- 22:20Speaker 1: this note? Let that marinate you don't want? I love him?
- 22:26Speaker 1: I love him. I'm gonna see it one time. If
- 22:30Speaker 1: I write a book about failure and it don't sail,
- 22:37Speaker 1: I have succeeded. I win. Okay, listen to me boomerang
- 22:46Speaker 1: calling me boomerang. You just it's so many ways, y'all
- 22:53Speaker 1: co no um to deal with Tommy on this. Yeah,
- 23:02Speaker 1: I was too through. I couldn't say. The book it's
- 23:05Speaker 1: about go ahead, about failure. So you want to teach
- 23:09Speaker 1: people how to fail? I'm just saying. If it doesn't
- 23:15Speaker 1: say ask you a question, what is the book about failure?
- 23:21Speaker 1: Are you trying to teach people how to failure? I
- 23:25Speaker 1: don't just letting examples are failure examples of failure, letting
- 23:29Speaker 1: them to know about failure. Yeah. So now when you
- 23:34Speaker 1: ever you take on the project, what is the motivation
- 23:38Speaker 1: behind writing the book? You want people to know about failure?
- 23:42Speaker 1: To what? I just want people to know failing is okay?
- 23:50Speaker 1: I succeed. That's the best seller within itself. If it
- 24:05Speaker 1: stays on the shelf, you have to sell a number
- 24:08Speaker 1: of books, You'll never make the best selling. Why do
- 24:12Speaker 1: you sound frustrated? But I still win? I still succeed.
- 24:16Speaker 1: And you know why you're not? Have you succeed in
- 24:18Speaker 1: your failure? Is what you're saying? That you say it's
- 24:21Speaker 1: something sure to see that? See that? No you don't
- 24:27Speaker 1: see that. No, No, I don't see. She don't see
- 24:33Speaker 1: and why she? To me? Who are you mad? Should
- 24:42Speaker 1: be embarrassed? Let's see you upset about my success? Why
- 24:48Speaker 1: he fails to see it? Tommy, don't have another one
- 24:55Speaker 1: for you. We'll be back with church complaints. That's coming
- 24:58Speaker 1: up in forty eight. After the you're listening to the
- 25:01Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Okay, we all recovered. Um. Coming
- 25:13Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, Ms Anne will
- 25:15Speaker 1: be here with the latest on the healthcare bill. This
- 25:17Speaker 1: is definitely a blow to Trump's presidency. H. Plus the
- 25:21Speaker 1: n C Double A Final four is set up next.
- 25:24Speaker 1: It's Monday. You know what that means. Church complaints on
- 25:28Speaker 1: the way. Okay, got to be real quickly. Mhm. We
- 25:52Speaker 1: get as usually older Monday or bliss it d yes
- 26:03Speaker 1: to help the complaints or an ungrateful congregation. And I
- 26:12Speaker 1: don't see that man or sheep that don't like being
- 26:16Speaker 1: sheep all right when you ain't got qualifications to be
- 26:24Speaker 1: the ship? H what is it now? Deacon a past
- 26:35Speaker 1: that we have a situation. The singles Ministry went to
- 26:39Speaker 1: Heatonism in Jamaica. Uh, the Toga party got out of
- 26:45Speaker 1: out of hand past the Deacon Rapiel Mason and Sister
- 26:49Speaker 1: Mosia Rallings. Uh, the sheets came off and now uh
- 26:55Speaker 1: they want to be baptized again in two prayers. They
- 26:58Speaker 1: seen um. But there's a couple of members want them
- 27:02Speaker 1: just thrown out of the territs behind this mess. So
- 27:05Speaker 1: we want you to step in and I take control.
- 27:10Speaker 1: First of all, there will be no expels from this hire.
- 27:15Speaker 1: Congregation calls robes. Come on, had you not been Inhale
- 27:24Speaker 1: in the first place, with the dog on sheet on,
- 27:30Speaker 1: nothing would have come on. How are we gonna expel
- 27:33Speaker 1: them too when all y'all was in the heating missile
- 27:39Speaker 1: Heatonism is a Haitian word. It means hell mm hmm. Yeah,
- 27:49Speaker 1: Well they told us fell off. So that's how I
- 27:54Speaker 1: think about that. Passion was a large woman. Her was
- 28:00Speaker 1: not for toga. What she got hurt from Dick spoken
- 28:07Speaker 1: goods hers was actually or tent for ten. All right,
- 28:17Speaker 1: here's another situation here. Uh, the ushers are complaining about
- 28:22Speaker 1: sister beneath the banks who keeps her money in her
- 28:26Speaker 1: broad pastor and doing offering time. She reaches up there
- 28:30Speaker 1: to get it and the money is sweaty in the
- 28:32Speaker 1: offering plate. You're gonna have to talk to her. Oh
- 28:37Speaker 1: that's not gonna happen either. What money's like driving next question?
- 28:49Speaker 1: All right, we continue to take the sweaty money. I
- 28:52Speaker 1: fight broke out bingo night in the fallowship. How the
- 28:55Speaker 1: pot was eight hundred and seventy five dollars night, Sister
- 28:59Speaker 1: Badeer saying tea and sinster, Martha Gedre Holly Bingo at
- 29:03Speaker 1: the same time they split the money. But since the
- 29:07Speaker 1: Martha poor sister. But but there's Bingo card out of
- 29:12Speaker 1: the trash and found out she was lying, and then
- 29:14Speaker 1: the fight broke out. I don't know how you're gonna
- 29:19Speaker 1: get out the other half of his money, but you're
- 29:21Speaker 1: not giving it back to the lady. Will I have
- 29:26Speaker 1: a fundraising idea for the building for what is that?
- 29:32Speaker 1: This Sunday, right after service in the back parking lot,
- 29:38Speaker 1: we're taking house bitch on who's gonna win the fight? Now,
- 29:42Speaker 1: I'm gonna let him fight it out and the winner
- 29:44Speaker 1: gets the cut. But the last time we had a
- 29:48Speaker 1: fight between brother Pernell and that new boarder that just
- 29:52Speaker 1: come out of jail Sydney Sydney Porter. Whoop Deaton Pernel
- 29:59Speaker 1: as so bad. We want thirty two hundred. So I'm
- 30:08Speaker 1: thinking of making a mud pitting head of women have
- 30:11Speaker 1: mud wrestling man. After you're supposed to jump in and
- 30:16Speaker 1: and and fell this without violence. It's how you will
- 30:24Speaker 1: not in the mud. Right to these commage just off color,
- 30:33Speaker 1: inflictive about society today. Right it's a church, you know, yes,
- 30:40Speaker 1: it is just what I mean, oh man, you're trying
- 30:44Speaker 1: to fix it, do you. Uh? Well, that's a situation
- 30:50Speaker 1: that's pointed towards you passed that. First of all, the
- 30:55Speaker 1: congregation wants to know why is the door key to
- 30:59Speaker 1: the church also the key to your car and your
- 31:03Speaker 1: house all the same key. That doesn't make sense? Uh uh?
- 31:09Speaker 1: And the brother Curby who was the groundskeeper is uh
- 31:13Speaker 1: he's missing, and so is your car. But this is
- 31:16Speaker 1: your fault because you have one key that fits everything,
- 31:20Speaker 1: including the safe in the back. Obviously, we had blown
- 31:24Speaker 1: through these complaints too quickly and you had to make
- 31:29Speaker 1: war up on the ruin. Now what you're not gonna
- 31:34Speaker 1: do is uh uh complain about my complaints now this
- 31:40Speaker 1: little you have one damn complaints. What you don't gonna
- 31:45Speaker 1: do is complain about down the deepon Curby. Now any
- 31:49Speaker 1: other time to be ball th all of you, Chris
- 31:51Speaker 1: shaw Rave, wen't worry about my complaints. You just answer
- 31:56Speaker 1: the complaint. What car? You know? The church? You're listening
- 32:02Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, it
- 32:08Speaker 1: is time for ms Anne to come in. Please introduces
- 32:12Speaker 1: here at the lovely and talented Miss an Trip ms Anne. Okay,
- 32:23Speaker 1: technical difficulties. I think where we're a little bit offline.
- 32:30Speaker 1: There you are, everybody, and good morning, good morning, and
- 32:32Speaker 1: good Monday morning to everybody out there. After the Trump
- 32:35Speaker 1: Administration's embarrassing defeat Friday on the Houses GOP healthcare bill,
- 32:40Speaker 1: looks like the White House is about to try something different,
- 32:42Speaker 1: despite the fact that Republicans are now in control of
- 32:45Speaker 1: both Houses of the Congress as well as the presidency.
- 32:47Speaker 1: White House Chief of Staff Ryan's Previous on Fox News
- 32:50Speaker 1: Sunday says, the administration is disappointed over the way that
- 32:53Speaker 1: the Conservative Republicans refuses sport the bill. The fact that
- 32:56Speaker 1: some of these members took that and decided not to
- 32:58Speaker 1: move forward with it, I think is a real shame,
- 33:01Speaker 1: and I think the President is disappointed in a number
- 33:03Speaker 1: of people that he thought were loyal to him that
- 33:05Speaker 1: weren't so. Now, Previous says, the Trump is going to
- 33:08Speaker 1: reach across political aisles. In other words, he's going to
- 33:10Speaker 1: work with the Democrats if they'll work with him. And
- 33:14Speaker 1: Cincinnati are still yeah, business, Cincinnati is still The Democrats
- 33:20Speaker 1: are promising not to be as a recalcitrants that we say,
- 33:24Speaker 1: as the Republicans were for eight years with the strong bambabamba. Yeah,
- 33:28Speaker 1: so we try. They say they won't be that like that.
- 33:31Speaker 1: They want to really govern a police and Cincinnati is
- 33:33Speaker 1: still looking for suspects in an early morning shooting Sunday
- 33:36Speaker 1: morning in a nightclub there that left one person dead
- 33:38Speaker 1: and fifteen others wounded. Police Chief Elliott Isaac says it
- 33:41Speaker 1: looks like the trouble started earlier in the day and
- 33:43Speaker 1: kind of escalated at night. Several local men got into
- 33:48Speaker 1: some type of dispute inside the bar and it escalated
- 33:51Speaker 1: into shots being fired from several individuals. Now, police have
- 33:56Speaker 1: not made any arrest. They're asking anybody with information to
- 33:58Speaker 1: come forward. Both the eight f and the FBI are
- 34:01Speaker 1: assisting in the investigation. This one went over Friday and
- 34:05Speaker 1: was really viral, very important, and there's something new on
- 34:08Speaker 1: it now. Police in the Maryland, d C. Area now
- 34:10Speaker 1: saying that the recent social media post that went viral
- 34:13Speaker 1: about all those missing black girls is somewhat misleading. According
- 34:17Speaker 1: to the DC commander Chanelle Dickerson. She says there has
- 34:20Speaker 1: not been an increase in missing teens, but rather more
- 34:22Speaker 1: reporting on missing people on Twitter. She says the girls
- 34:26Speaker 1: featured in the post have disappeared. Over a period of years,
- 34:29Speaker 1: not recently, and that many have been found and Commander
- 34:32Speaker 1: Dickinson also says that some of them missing left home voluntarily.
- 34:36Speaker 1: She adds that while one missing child is too many,
- 34:39Speaker 1: their missing persons cases have been solved, so probably did
- 34:45Speaker 1: spoke to someone. Well, I had a representative speak to
- 34:49Speaker 1: someone in the DC department to get more information on
- 34:54Speaker 1: and they told me the exact same thing. They said,
- 34:58Speaker 1: just happen. Mr Carvey, be careful. A lot of this
- 35:01Speaker 1: is social media, but we will give him the facts
- 35:04Speaker 1: on the money. We had to notice. We had to
- 35:07Speaker 1: because you know, it was out there for a while
- 35:09Speaker 1: and a lot of the media were hesitant to report
- 35:11Speaker 1: on it because they said it might be fake news.
- 35:13Speaker 1: And then finally some of the majors went with it.
- 35:15Speaker 1: And that's why I said, Okay, we've got to go
- 35:17Speaker 1: with it. And I'm glad that the that the officers
- 35:19Speaker 1: spoke up and you know, kind of set the record
- 35:21Speaker 1: straight again. Missing child is too many. Yes, I'm saying
- 35:26Speaker 1: you really needed to report it because the way it
- 35:29Speaker 1: was being put out there, it was making it look like, wow,
- 35:33Speaker 1: it was scary. It was very scary because you can't
- 35:39Speaker 1: have no one allows that many kids to be missing
- 35:43Speaker 1: and can brush it under the road. M exactly exactly so,
- 35:48Speaker 1: but it's happened in Atlanta murders, you know, so we
- 35:51Speaker 1: were the black communities kind of raw on this and
- 35:54Speaker 1: kind of sensitive to this kind of issue, and you know, rightly,
- 35:56Speaker 1: so okay, Now switching a little bit of South Carolina.
- 35:59Speaker 1: Man who police say wrapped electrical tape around his dog's
- 36:02Speaker 1: muzzle to stop him from barking. He's been sentenced to
- 36:05Speaker 1: five years in prison. He wrapped the dog's face so
- 36:08Speaker 1: tightly that he turned off. He got he turned got
- 36:11Speaker 1: rid of the blood flow in his dog's tongue. He
- 36:13Speaker 1: was in a critical condition when he wandered away and
- 36:15Speaker 1: was found. So that's thirty six hours to get the
- 36:18Speaker 1: electrical take off. This man, William Dotson, is sentenced to
- 36:21Speaker 1: five years in prison. The judge says, he wishes you'd
- 36:23Speaker 1: give him more. That's like a disgusting human, disgusting five
- 36:29Speaker 1: years because it was electrical tape and he wrapped it
- 36:34Speaker 1: around so tightly that his tongue, Steve was sticking out
- 36:36Speaker 1: of his mouth, the poor dog, and it it cut
- 36:38Speaker 1: off the blood flow to the tongue. Needs to say
- 36:41Speaker 1: he couldn't drink or eat or anything, and it's just
- 36:44Speaker 1: it was just this. I'm so glad they found this dog.
- 36:47Speaker 1: What a mean thing to do, you know, really, I
- 36:50Speaker 1: love very cruel cruel. I need to wrap some electrical
- 36:54Speaker 1: tape NEMI around him anyway, Okay, yeah the dogs. Yeah,
- 37:03Speaker 1: me neither. And I don't like thank you. That's what
- 37:09Speaker 1: I couldn't say. But that's what I'm thinking. Okay, hey,
- 37:16Speaker 1: you say that I can't say. Oh guess what, Tops
- 37:22Speaker 1: at the go ahead, let's go to get this wrap
- 37:26Speaker 1: this up real quick. Everybody tops at the box office
- 37:28Speaker 1: this weekend was Beauty and the Beast. In just two weeks,
- 37:34Speaker 1: Beauty and the Beast has brought in are you sitting down?
- 37:37Speaker 1: Eighty eight million dollars? So it has made three hundred
- 37:42Speaker 1: and seventeen million dollars in just two weeks. So my
- 37:46Speaker 1: idea is that the Steve Harvey Morning Show, including me
- 37:48Speaker 1: and Clay, we should all get down, make a film
- 37:51Speaker 1: and make some money. It should be called Think like
- 37:55Speaker 1: a man, Act like a fantasy character. Thank you very much,
- 37:58Speaker 1: Thank very much. Anyway. In the Double A in the
- 38:05Speaker 1: s C Double A Final Four, the Final Four Gonzago,
- 38:08Speaker 1: South Carolina, North Carolina, Oregon. They go to the final dance.
- 38:11Speaker 1: Do you have a favorite missing? I'm a tar Heel,
- 38:15Speaker 1: so you know I'm going with North Carolina too. Going
- 38:19Speaker 1: with the tar Heels. The board from Oregon might surprise
- 38:21Speaker 1: the people because if they get hot, the boys fi
- 38:26Speaker 1: out there. I want to see South Carolina do it. Yeah,
- 38:32Speaker 1: they've never been right now, just state, first time anything
- 38:38Speaker 1: in this state. I like South Carolina and North Carolina.
- 38:41Speaker 1: But hm, Gonzaga. Nice, well, wait to get that Gonzaga.
- 38:46Speaker 1: But y'all gonna set your dass down. Ain't you pulling
- 38:52Speaker 1: for nobody? I can't pronounce name. If I can't, that's
- 38:58Speaker 1: your criteria that I can't spill school, you can't cheer,
- 39:05Speaker 1: can't support, that's not you know. I'm out. Do you
- 39:14Speaker 1: think this u c l a kid? You think he's
- 39:16Speaker 1: gonna get drafted? Yeah, oh yeah, he's gonna get drafted.
- 39:20Speaker 1: But it ain't gonna go like he think like his
- 39:24Speaker 1: dad is putting it out there. Well, his dad is
- 39:26Speaker 1: something else. Man. Let's see his jumper. It's uh, it's
- 39:31Speaker 1: really weird though, his jumper it's f Yeah. Very few
- 39:38Speaker 1: NBA players they made a living with that jumper coming
- 39:42Speaker 1: off that shoulder like that. That's just me. I'm fitting
- 39:46Speaker 1: to look him up right now. What was his name, ball,
- 39:49Speaker 1: LaVar Ball. But he's supposed to be better than carry
- 39:58Speaker 1: his dad. Everybody thinks your kids are the best ever
- 40:03Speaker 1: to the butterfly. Le Bron too, better than better than Lebron. Okay,
- 40:10Speaker 1: the butterflies waiting in the wings with a butterfly blog.
- 40:12Speaker 1: We'll be back in you're listening, Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 40:20Speaker 1: All right, he's here, the butcher fly waiting in the
- 40:23Speaker 1: wings with his butcher fly blog coming out. Oh yeah,
- 40:30Speaker 1: butterfly oatmeal oatmeal, But yes, say you're going through the streets,
- 40:39Speaker 1: go back at the Good morning, Monday morning to everyone.
- 40:44Speaker 1: Stephen Tommy Shirley College Junior, Good morning to all of you.
- 40:47Speaker 1: Are butterfly trying to have a very good attitude this morning,
- 40:55Speaker 1: since people think I don't have a good attitude. Um.
- 41:00Speaker 1: The blog this morning is leggings on the plane. Leggings
- 41:03Speaker 1: on the plane. Um, yes, And I'm gonna be wearing
- 41:08Speaker 1: leggings probably throughout the rest of the year. Fourth July,
- 41:11Speaker 1: I have some red, white and blue legs. They've bet
- 41:13Speaker 1: and I put me off not planing. Um st Patrick's day,
- 41:16Speaker 1: I had on some green leggings. You know, Easter is
- 41:19Speaker 1: coming around, so you'll see me in pastel colors. Um,
- 41:22Speaker 1: wearing leggings because I wear leggings all the time and
- 41:26Speaker 1: it's something that I like to do. So what's wrong
- 41:29Speaker 1: You're talking about the story United Airline story on Sunday when, yes,
- 41:35Speaker 1: two young girls, you should be able to. But I'm
- 41:42Speaker 1: trying to be nice. I'm trying to be nice, and
- 41:44Speaker 1: he's he's already coming at me. You already hear it? Right? Yeah? Yeah,
- 41:49Speaker 1: the real cause legs on the real time. I just
- 41:55Speaker 1: kept it. It's my blog that we're discussing. People wear
- 42:01Speaker 1: socks out the story already. I'm just trying to go
- 42:10Speaker 1: here with your leggings. Sty Surely you can't wear leggings
- 42:13Speaker 1: on the plane, No, no, no. Two teen girls were
- 42:16Speaker 1: barred from a United Airlines flight because they had on leggings.
- 42:19Speaker 1: But they were flying on a buddy pass, and you
- 42:22Speaker 1: know on the buddy pass you have to dress appropriately,
- 42:24Speaker 1: So that's what it was. Um, you know, you can't
- 42:27Speaker 1: just wear leggings or something like that. You have to
- 42:29Speaker 1: dress up kind of. And I think legings should be acceptable.
- 42:33Speaker 1: You should be able to wear your leggings wherever you
- 42:35Speaker 1: want to, because I wear mine and I don't want
- 42:37Speaker 1: nobody trip in about my leggings. So it is leggings
- 42:40Speaker 1: on the plane. You should be here to wear your legs.
- 42:42Speaker 1: And I think today is going to be leggings day.
- 42:46Speaker 1: What's the game? Who liked this right here? I don't.
- 42:51Speaker 1: I'm I'm just anybody amused by this, particularly tapping in
- 42:57Speaker 1: the body. It's just a new story. And he's highlighting it. Yeah,
- 43:01Speaker 1: he's highlighting it. You know all list was trending, got
- 43:06Speaker 1: out it right there. I don't know, man, I want
- 43:09Speaker 1: to see it here talking about no damn leggings, man, well, leggings,
- 43:18Speaker 1: leggings on the I'm not gonna be able to continue
- 43:22Speaker 1: to work under these conditions. Go on, butterfly, I'm with you.
- 43:29Speaker 1: It's a new story. It's a very good new story.
- 43:32Speaker 1: Leggings on the plane. So we feel free to go
- 43:34Speaker 1: out and work your leggings today. It's a beautiful thing
- 43:36Speaker 1: to tell. You're on the buddy past though. Yeah, you're
- 43:43Speaker 1: about help. Feel free to put out some stocks. It's
- 43:47Speaker 1: so shoe care yours to work what's wrong with it?
- 43:53Speaker 1: Everybody doing? Ain't nobody getting a bit more putting on
- 43:56Speaker 1: the leggings going to work? Who you saying? Worry with
- 44:00Speaker 1: the league? I have someone right now they're camouflaged. Oh nobody, No,
- 44:08Speaker 1: none about your league? And cause you keep it to
- 44:10Speaker 1: yourself right right a row. Well, at some point you
- 44:17Speaker 1: all gonna have to make a decision on who you
- 44:19Speaker 1: want in this segment. It cannot continue to be people
- 44:22Speaker 1: jumping in like this. You have to make a decision.
- 44:24Speaker 1: And so we've gotta have a boat tomorrow. Who you are?
- 44:28Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steven Show? All right here we are? Okay,
- 44:35Speaker 1: coming up, We've got some trending stuff going on. We'll
- 44:38Speaker 1: talk about what Snoop Dogg is up to the age
- 44:42Speaker 1: you peak, you know, doing certain things like finding a
- 44:46Speaker 1: marriage partner, like playing chess, things like that. We'll talk
- 44:49Speaker 1: about that, and Dave Chappelle it is interesting Dave Chappelle

- 45:16Speaker 1: to Pack. While Snoop is the only confirmed name so far,

- 45:47Speaker 1: tell that truth. Jeez, yeah, me and Snoop as dudes. Man. Okay,
- 45:55Speaker 1: now this next story, Steve, you said this was interesting.
- 45:59Speaker 1: It says the according to scientists, here's a rundown of
- 46:02Speaker 1: the ages you peak at certain things. For instance, if
- 46:05Speaker 1: you want to learn a new language, the peak age
- 46:07Speaker 1: for that is anybody seventy seven seven? Yes, you peak
- 46:16Speaker 1: at seven seven to learn a new language. That's when
- 46:20Speaker 1: you peak brain processing power. So I can't learn a
- 46:27Speaker 1: new language. Now you can? You can. I'll just be
- 46:29Speaker 1: a little harder brain processing Okay, seriously, right there, seven
- 46:40Speaker 1: you brain processing power? Age eighteen. Attractiveness that's not true. Well,
- 46:49Speaker 1: keep going, I'm gonna keep going. Attractiveness and life, satisfaction, attractiveness.

- 53:40Speaker 1: something else I need to tell you. Are you listening? What?
- 53:43Speaker 1: What are you listening to me? What? Say something? I
- 53:47Speaker 1: want to tell you this? This is Nephew Timming from
- 53:49Speaker 1: the Steve Harvard Morning Show. Malik, your son got me
- 53:53Speaker 1: to frank phone call you. Come on, man, are you playing?

- 54:19Speaker 1: told me, y'all listen to the show on the way,
- 54:20Speaker 1: on the way to dropping the kids off at school
- 54:22Speaker 1: in the morning every morning. Don't Oh man, I know
- 54:27Speaker 1: you weren't getting at that house come Sunday. Was hell.
- 54:30Speaker 1: Now we're moving nowhere. Oh man, I'm already trying to
- 54:35Speaker 1: save what I'm trying to get them another spot. Hey, man,
- 54:37Speaker 1: keep pushing, bro. I got one more thing to ask you, man,
- 54:39Speaker 1: what is the baddest radio show in the land. You
- 54:43Speaker 1: already know Steve Harvey Morning Show. I keep it still, Yeah,
- 54:54Speaker 1: that's what I'm talking about. Stupid continues at the Township
- 55:01Speaker 1: Auditory in Columbia, South Carolina. It is Southern fry comedy.
- 55:04Speaker 1: It's going down this Satura did night April. Fools and
- 55:08Speaker 1: the Fools will be in town. That's Township Auditory, Columbia,
- 55:11Speaker 1: South Calillacic. That's me, that's Junior and all our boys
- 55:14Speaker 1: out of age town. Get your tickets. Theyon sail. Right
- 55:18Speaker 1: now you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show, and
- 55:21Speaker 1: then it's that time. Buckle up. And hold on tight.
- 55:27Speaker 1: We got it for you here. It is strawberry letter
- 55:30Speaker 1: thanking if you subject to my step brother and I
- 55:34Speaker 1: have a situation. Dear Stephen Shirley, I am twenty four
- 55:40Speaker 1: years old and I have a huge dilemma. My stepbrother
- 55:43Speaker 1: and I have been very close since high school when
- 55:46Speaker 1: he first asked me for help with a certain situation.
- 55:50Speaker 1: He had girlfriends and various other partners at the time,
- 55:53Speaker 1: but he asked me. I was shocked but honored because
- 55:57Speaker 1: he was the star athlete and very hands him. I
- 56:00Speaker 1: ended up helping him out that little phrases and quotations,
- 56:04Speaker 1: helping him out almost three times a week with his situation.
- 56:09Speaker 1: It was something about being with someone that all the
- 56:11Speaker 1: girls wanted that allowed me to continue. Once his mom
- 56:15Speaker 1: and my dad got divorced, he ended up moving five
- 56:18Speaker 1: hours away. I used to visit him during the summer
- 56:21Speaker 1: and we continued our situation when I would visit a
- 56:25Speaker 1: few years past, and we have always remained cool outside
- 56:29Speaker 1: of sex because he was like a brother to me.
- 56:32Speaker 1: Now he has a wife and two sons and he
- 56:34Speaker 1: only lives two hours away from me. He always insists
- 56:38Speaker 1: that I come for a visit. I don't want to
- 56:41Speaker 1: be disrespectful because I know his wife and have met
- 56:44Speaker 1: his sons. When we talk, he is practically begging me
- 56:48Speaker 1: to come and visit him. He has even talked about
- 56:51Speaker 1: moving me closer to him and said that he would
- 56:54Speaker 1: help with my moving expenses. I don't want to be
- 56:57Speaker 1: a home wrecker. So how do I tell him no
- 57:00Speaker 1: without losing a brother? Please help? PS? I'm a male
- 57:05Speaker 1: as well. Okay, you have to do the right thing. Yes, yes, Steve,
- 57:19Speaker 1: you need me to read something over. Yeah, I don't
- 57:24Speaker 1: want to be a home wrecker? So how do I
- 57:25Speaker 1: tell him no without losing a brother? Please help? P S.
- 57:30Speaker 1: I'm a male as well, So you you have to
- 57:37Speaker 1: do the right thing in this situation. You can't go.
- 57:40Speaker 1: You have to do the right thing. If you feel
- 57:42Speaker 1: you're going to be disrespectful. If you feel you're gonna
- 57:45Speaker 1: be a home wrecker, like you say in the letter,
- 57:48Speaker 1: then you definitely don't need to go. I mean you go. Uh.
- 57:52Speaker 1: You guys haven't seen each other for a while. You'll
- 57:54Speaker 1: fall back into the same situation, and that's what you
- 57:57Speaker 1: don't want. Because you say you don't want to wreck
- 57:59Speaker 1: their marriage. Tell him, though, you have to tell him why.
- 58:02Speaker 1: You have to tell him that you've met his wife,
- 58:04Speaker 1: just like you're saying the letter, you've met his children.
- 58:06Speaker 1: You feel differently now, so it can't be the same
- 58:09Speaker 1: with you, and you feel it would be inappropriate. Uh,
- 58:12Speaker 1: tell him you guys will always be brothers. Your parents
- 58:16Speaker 1: may have divorced, but you guys aren't divorced. You'll you'll
- 58:18Speaker 1: always be brothers. I mean, even though your parents are
- 58:20Speaker 1: divorced and no longer are together. But you have to
- 58:24Speaker 1: tell him the truth. I mean, you can't let him
- 58:26Speaker 1: keep putting himself out there and begging you to come,
- 58:29Speaker 1: and you know, and you're saying no but not telling
- 58:32Speaker 1: him why. So tell him why and explained to him.
- 58:34Speaker 1: All right, Steve, Huh, after all, she doesn't want to
- 58:45Speaker 1: break up the marriage. Ah and ah the confirmation hearing.
- 58:52Speaker 1: I won't recuse myself from this Lettle because she Shirley. AH.
- 59:00Speaker 1: Can't do this letter without the last line. Yeah, I
- 59:07Speaker 1: don't want to be a home record. So how do
- 59:09Speaker 1: I tell him no without losing a brother? Well, first
- 59:18Speaker 1: of all, y'all molden brothers. Yeah, because y'all having sex.
- 59:27Speaker 1: Then you're gonna add the end. Try to treat me
- 59:30Speaker 1: and go ps, I'm a male as well. Well, well, hell,
- 59:39Speaker 1: it's where I got to get off this train, because
- 59:46Speaker 1: you're asking me now to comment without the ability to
- 59:54Speaker 1: really comment. See, we live in a politically correct society
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: today where everything everybody else do, everybody else got the
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: like it or else you come under scrutiny. You're not
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: fitting to mess my radio show up and kill my
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: career on a little big shots. You're not taking that
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: from me with this little funking behind letter trying to
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: draw me into a controversial situation and get me to
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: say something stupid. I ain't gonna do it. Well, thank
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: you for that. No, I ain't through though. My letter
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: is about the letter, about why you write me, the letter,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: about the letter, and the letter. I see this, this
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: letter right here, tricky trying to draw me in. Now,
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: y'all brothers for real thoughts. Now, y'all brothers, stepbrothers and brothers.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: So we tr brother's own brothers. Now, first of all,
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: you violated a family code. That's the first thing you
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: did have on You violated family code. You ain't post
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: to sleep with your step brother. No, I mean, you're right,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: you're right, You're right. About that. I don't care who
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: you are, ye Now, I don't try to trick me
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: at the end of the letter with this new piece
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: of you just sat and you're gonna throw this at
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: the end of the damn letter. Yes, lord, I'm tipping Tory.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: I'm tiny timing around because you're trying to I'd have
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: been on the internet this year enough for everybody. What
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: I have to do is get on it again over
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: this damn let I don't give it down who you're
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: sleep You write your letter. You and your mom had
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: a little something something going on. It ain't my damn bust.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: That's now. I'll give down who you sleep with, Taddy, Freddie,
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: Jerome Homte, whatever do you and be happy doing? You
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: don't write us good in here? Well you don't need
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: to see this boy no more. He mard got a
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: wife and two sons. If you're talking about moving you closer,
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: what's your would a man now trying to do? Not
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: get out this letter? You can do it, Steve, But
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: when we come back, you got to answer on the
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: backing in a game. Okay, my stepbrother and I have
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: a situation. That's the subject. We'll be back at eighteen
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: after you're listening to Steve. Al right, here we are.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: This letter is called the subject my stepbrother and I
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: have a situation. Will have part two of Steve's response
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: coming up right after this. All right, Steve, here we
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: are with this letter the subject my stepbrother and I
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: have a situation. Twenty four year old UM, as we
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: found out, wrote this letter. He has he's in a
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: huge dilemma. His he and his stepbrother have been very
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: close since high school. Um, it's a male. Uh. He
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: was having sex with his stepbrother. The reason I got
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: to be stepbrothers is because their parents married. Uh, his
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: mom married his dad and UM, so that was the situation.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: So they have been in an intimate relationship for quite
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: a while. Then one of the stepbrothers moved away, got
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: married and had children, And now he's calling on his
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: other stepbrother to um come and visit him. So that's
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: the dilemma. The one who wrote the letter wants to
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: know what should he do. He doesn't want to be
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: a home record, he doesn't want to be disrespectful. How
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: do we tell how does he tell him know without
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: losing a brother? He wants our help, and he didn't
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: tell us he was a male until the very last line.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: He a trick. I'm a male as well, trying to
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: deceive me and cast me into the light of political incorrectness.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: But I'm not gonna do it. I'm not going to
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: allow you to do it. You wrong for what you're
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: doing to this boy and his marriage. Y'all can do
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: whatever you want to do, but once you drag a
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: marriage and some kids in it, you got to have
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: a new set of rules. You obviously not show. I
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: mean sure now, you obviously not show. Okay, it just
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: that was for me. That was for me. You don't
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: do this. Surely that was just for me. Now, this
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: letters already taxing on me because they're trying to get
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: me this conversation another way. But I'm not gonna do it.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: Everybody's equal in all the same under God's eyes. So
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: therefore the letter is what it is. The fact that
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: you were male normally would throw me into something, but
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: it ain't. I'm not gonna let you do it. And
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: you know why I'm not gonna let you do it,
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: because y'all ain't putting me on the internet about nothing else.
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: With your lying ass on the internet. I'm so sick
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: of y'all stink bottom feed and troll mongering people that
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: ain't got nothing better to do than to try to
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: bring somebody down. Where is the uplift? That's not the
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: way this is about you, now about you. It's about yeah,
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: trying to trick me. It's deception amongst us. We we
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: are the greatest dividers of ourselves. Because let me ask
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: you a question, who even put this letter in front
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: of me? What trader did that? The ladder script? Yeah,
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: the latter is half wasn't trapped to further bring me
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: down by the black man, to bring the other I'm
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: not gonna do it. Conspiracy by fellow brother trying to
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: bring another brother down, doing the work of the devil,
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: doing the working bottom line. Yeah, this is called flipping
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: the script majorly and out of flipped it. So you
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: don't flip me. It's gotta flipping each other, but you
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: won't be flipping me. All right, we'll talk about more

- 1:09:10Speaker 1: in New Orleans. Okay, And here's the thing. To the
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: surprise of the audience, none other than the one and
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: only Dave Chappelle followed the opening act. Chappelle performed ten
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: minutes of jokes before Chris Rock took the stage. The
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: best part was that Dave and Chris actually performed together. Now,
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: it's reported that this was an awesome moment in time
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: that will never be seen because all cell phones were
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: banned from the theater. Wow, mad those people. How mad
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: were they? Dave was like, he was like, tonight, you
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: are all part of a social experiment. Stranger things have
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: happened in New Orleans. Then Rock took a second to
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: poke fund saying, oh you wish you had your cell phones? Right?
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: Tyra Banks was there. She later tweeted, witness comedic history tonight.
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: Um they were on stage together. She said it was magic.
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: We can only hope it happens again for the world
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: to witness. So that's good to hear, you know that. That? Yeah,
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: that isn't that major? I mean that's major. Yeah, legends
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: on stage. Yeah, I'm glad that Dave Chappelle is back.
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: He's back with his Netflix uh comedy special. You know,
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: he's just he's coming back. You know, he got a
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: lot of criticism for leaving his show and leaving fifty
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: million dollars on the table, But now he's coming back.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: You know, how long ago? Was that like ten years
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: or something? Was it that long ago? Yeah? It was
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: it was a while ago. So now he's coming back
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: and he's still making millions, so you know exactly. Yeah. Yeah, So,
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: so were you done asking your questions to Tommy? Yeah?
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: He was you asking him that. I mean to answer
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: the question, man, how much you make? I don't know.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: I don't know money. I just I just keep hustling.
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: I don't know that much money. You don't know how
