- 0:01Speaker 1: We have got a lot to chat about, including the
- 0:03Speaker 1: fact that the Department of Homeland Security is now identified
- 0:08Speaker 1: four hundred migrants that were brought into the United States
- 0:12Speaker 1: of America by an ISIS affiliated human smuggling network. That's right,
- 0:20Speaker 1: ISIS affiliated human smuggling network has been able to identify.
- 0:24Speaker 1: They've been able to identify at least four hundred migrants
- 0:28Speaker 1: broad in the US. Now, we're also going to deal
- 0:30Speaker 1: with the debates coming up in some new news that's
- 0:32Speaker 1: coming out about some lawyers that we're working within our
- 0:36Speaker 1: government to actually help Joe Biden when last time your
- 0:40Speaker 1: tax dollars are going for that. I'm going to get
- 0:43Speaker 1: to that other big story, but this one deals with
- 0:45Speaker 1: national security, and I want to start here. I want
- 0:48Speaker 1: you to take a listen to this clip from NBC
- 0:53Speaker 1: Nightly News. Their investigation that these ISIS individuals are bringing
- 0:59Speaker 1: in hundreds of people into the US that we know about.
- 1:03Speaker 1: This does not count ones we may not know about.
- 1:06Speaker 1: As a whistleblower from the US Border Patrol has come.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Forward tonight, NBC News has learned more than fifty migrants
- 1:13Speaker 2: with potential ties to an ISIS affiliated smuggling network are
- 1:17Speaker 2: at large in America. Many illegally cross the border and
- 1:21Speaker 2: were released into the US by border patrol because there
- 1:23Speaker 2: was no information suggesting terrortize at the time. Now their
- 1:27Speaker 2: whereabouts are unknown as immigration agents look to arrest them.
- 1:31Speaker 2: US officials tell us saying they're among a group of
- 1:34Speaker 2: over four hundred migrants DHS identified in the US from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Kyrkistan, Georgia,
- 1:42Speaker 2: and Russia as subjects of concern because they were brought
- 1:46Speaker 2: to the US by an ISIS affiliated smuggling network, something
- 1:49Speaker 2: the FBI director warned about earlier this year.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Some of the overseas facilitators of the smuggling network have
- 1:55Speaker 1: ISIS ties that we're very concerned about.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Ice IS located and arrested over one hundred and fifty
- 2:01Speaker 2: of the four hundred migrants so far, with some already
- 2:04Speaker 2: deported from the US. Officials say, adding authorities are not
- 2:08Speaker 2: panicking because their ties to ISIS are not certain, but
- 2:11Speaker 2: they're prioritizing their arrest out of an abundance of caution.
- 2:15Speaker 3: The problem is the volume of people coming across the
- 2:18Speaker 3: southern border. Individuals from ISIS and other affiliated groups have
- 2:23Speaker 3: recognized it as a weak point in our defense, and
- 2:26Speaker 3: they're using this opportunity to try to sneak in.
- 2:30Speaker 2: NBC News was first to report on a similar arrest
- 2:33Speaker 2: of a newsback man in Baltimore whose country alerted the
- 2:36Speaker 2: US he was affiliated with ISIS. That man, like the
- 2:39Speaker 2: others apprehended so far, was arrested on immigration charges, not
- 2:43Speaker 2: terrorism related charges. Isis K has claimed responsibility for deadly
- 2:47Speaker 2: terror attacks in Russia and Iran in the past year,
- 2:51Speaker 2: and recently the DHS Inspector General sharply criticizing vetting at
- 2:55Speaker 2: the US southern border, saying DHS is a risk of
- 2:58Speaker 2: admitting dangerous persons into the country or enabling asylum seekers
- 3:02Speaker 2: who may post significant threats to public safety and national
- 3:06Speaker 2: security to continue to reside in the United States. To
- 3:09Speaker 2: senior law enforcement officials told NBC News they are not
- 3:13Speaker 2: tracking a terror plot from this group of migrants, but
- 3:15Speaker 2: their arrest on immigration charges come out of an abundance
- 3:18Speaker 2: of caution.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Bluster, abundance of caution, right. I love how they say that.
- 3:24Speaker 1: At the very in it, I go, it's just an
- 3:26Speaker 1: abundance of caution. No, this is a moment where you
- 3:30Speaker 1: should absolutely be angry and also incredibly concerned that over
- 3:36Speaker 1: one hundred and fifty have been arrested, but the whereabouts
- 3:39Speaker 1: of over.
- 3:39Speaker 4: Fifty remain unknown.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Officials are confirming, so they could be out in this
- 3:44Speaker 1: country getting ready to do anything. By the way, if
- 3:49Speaker 1: they weren't concerned that these people were terrorists, they wouldn't
- 3:53Speaker 1: be out there looking to arrest them on quote immigration
- 3:56Speaker 1: charges when they are found, because they let people go
- 4:00Speaker 1: every single day for doing the same thing, by the
- 4:02Speaker 1: literal millions of people, so they know the government knows
- 4:07Speaker 1: that this is very clearly that these people are actual terrorists.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Now here's the other thing that you got to look
- 4:15Speaker 1: at when you talk about we've arrested one hundred and
- 4:17Speaker 1: fifty the whereabouts of over fifty remain unknown, is let's
- 4:26Speaker 1: go back and just put this into context with nine
- 4:29Speaker 1: to eleven, the worst terrorist attack on our soil in
- 4:32Speaker 1: American history.
- 4:34Speaker 4: And let's look at the man.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Power it took to carry out that attack on the
- 4:39Speaker 1: ground America. Now, I'm not counting the manpower receipts like
- 4:42Speaker 1: clead shake Muhammad for for example, as a mastermind of
- 4:44Speaker 1: nine to eleven. I'm not talking about Asama bin Laden
- 4:46Speaker 1: or the couriers and then people over that were raising funds, okay,
- 4:52Speaker 1: to fund al Qaeda and fund the attack. I'm just
- 4:55Speaker 1: talking about men on the ground. It took nineteen hijackers,
- 5:00Speaker 1: there's total to actually conduct the nine to eleven attack.
- 5:05Speaker 1: On nine to eleven, right now, there are fifty unaccounted
- 5:11Speaker 1: for individuals with direct links to an ISIS human smuggling network,
- 5:18Speaker 1: and another one hundred and fifty that had been arrested.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Joe Biden clearly understands, or at least his administration the
- 5:26Speaker 1: people around him clearly understand the scale of this problem
- 5:31Speaker 1: in the threat, but they're still not closing the southern border.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Why would you not close the southern border if you
- 5:41Speaker 1: know now that this is out there and this is happening,
- 5:45Speaker 1: the over one hundred and fifty that we're arrested, you
- 5:48Speaker 1: don't run around the country because they're not only one place.
- 5:51Speaker 4: Let's talk about these arrests as well.
- 5:53Speaker 1: You don't run all over the country trying to grab
- 5:57Speaker 1: up one hundred and fifty people if you're the Biden
- 6:00Speaker 1: administration when you're letting millions in illegally every day, including
- 6:02Speaker 1: some on the terrorists watch lists.
- 6:04Speaker 4: Outside of these people we're.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Talking about now, you don't run around and grab them
- 6:09Speaker 1: unless you truly believe that they are real national security threat. Okay,
- 6:13Speaker 1: you can call them, as they describe them, subjects of
- 6:17Speaker 1: concern because they were quote brought by an ISIS.
- 6:21Speaker 4: Affiliated human smuggling network. I'm sorry.
- 6:25Speaker 1: You went out, you found one hundred and fifty of them,
- 6:27Speaker 1: you arrested them. The whereabouts of over fifty remain unknown.
- 6:30Speaker 1: The officials are confirming you have all hands on deck,
- 6:33Speaker 1: you have immigration customs enforcement out there looking to arrest
- 6:36Speaker 1: these men, and you're going to charge them with charges
- 6:39Speaker 1: that you could charge millions of others with right, immigration
- 6:43Speaker 1: charges when they're low, kid, is what you're going to
- 6:44Speaker 1: get them for. That's no different than the immigration charges
- 6:47Speaker 1: you could go after twenty million other people who have
- 6:49Speaker 1: broken in this country. They understand this is a major
- 6:53Speaker 1: national security threat. Let's also talk about why NBC News
- 6:57Speaker 1: is wearing the story because they're trying to get ahead
- 7:00Speaker 1: of the bad news, and they're trying to look like that, Hey,
- 7:05Speaker 1: the administration didn't know this was somehow a problem, but
- 7:09Speaker 1: as soon as they found out it was a problem,
- 7:11Speaker 1: they went to work right away to find them all.
- 7:13Speaker 4: And they've alread gotten one hundred and fifty.
- 7:14Speaker 1: So good news, good news, right like, this is a
- 7:17Speaker 1: half the glass half full type of scenario. Great news.
- 7:21Speaker 4: We love it.
- 7:21Speaker 1: This is such good news, you know, great news, good news.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Everything's good, everything's fine, everything's gonna work out, everything's okay,
- 7:28Speaker 1: everything's good, good news. It's all good news, folks, nothing bad,
- 7:32Speaker 1: all good. And then if something does happen, Heaven forbid,
- 7:37Speaker 1: they're gonna say, well, we knew about the problem, we
- 7:38Speaker 1: were working on the problem. They evaded a resk, we
- 7:42Speaker 1: were doing everything we could. We clearly have even when
- 7:47Speaker 1: we catch people. Have you noticed the last several stories
- 7:49Speaker 1: that I've done on this, We've had the people in
- 7:51Speaker 1: Cuscy and we release them. Let me rephrase that, the
- 7:54Speaker 1: Biden administration had them in Cussy and they released them.
- 7:59Speaker 1: And then after we're releasing people that on the tarifs
- 8:01Speaker 1: squatch list, are these people that are involved in an
- 8:03Speaker 1: isis human smuggling scenario? Then and only then is it changing? Okay,
- 8:12Speaker 1: then and only then is it then the administrators going Okay,
- 8:18Speaker 1: we let these guys go. We shouldn't have let's go
- 8:20Speaker 1: find them. And so far we've been lucky, blessed that
- 8:27Speaker 1: we've found them before they've committed attacks. But we also
- 8:30Speaker 1: know that there's people in this country. We just the
- 8:32Speaker 1: other day arrested a bunch of others who are directly
- 8:35Speaker 1: connected to isis K, the same isis K group that
- 8:38Speaker 1: has had now multiple attacks in Russia. Now, let's talk
- 8:42Speaker 1: about the politics of what I just told you and
- 8:47Speaker 1: my advice before the debate, which is going to happen
- 8:51Speaker 1: in what twenty four hours the debate, and this is
- 8:56Speaker 1: a moment where Donald Trump is going to have to
- 8:59Speaker 1: be very cool, very calm, and assume that ninety nine
- 9:05Speaker 1: point nine percent of the people that are watching do
- 9:07Speaker 1: not know about this story. He's going to have to
- 9:11Speaker 1: educate the audience first on this subject, and then he
- 9:17Speaker 1: is going to need to challenge Joe Biden specifically on
- 9:21Speaker 1: this issue.
- 9:23Speaker 4: If I was helping Donald.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Trump with debate prep and he doesn't do traditional debate prep,
- 9:27Speaker 1: I think it's a I think it's a mistake. But
- 9:30Speaker 1: he's his own man and he is going to do
- 9:33Speaker 1: what he wants to do how he wants to do it.
- 9:35Speaker 1: But what I will say is this, if we were
- 9:37Speaker 1: doing traditional debate prep, what I would say is, MS President,
- 9:40Speaker 1: you need to bring this up and quote NBC News.
- 9:43Speaker 1: You need to bring this up and the others that
- 9:46Speaker 1: were just arrested that were allowed into this country illegally,
- 9:49Speaker 1: that were members of isis K and quote ABC News
- 9:52Speaker 1: or CBS News or CNN or MSNBC, and you need
- 9:58Speaker 1: to paint a clear picture to the American people that
- 10:03Speaker 1: you have decided to have Joe Biden an open border policy.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Not only has it allowed for twenty million plus illegal
- 10:10Speaker 1: immigrants to come into this country and become a major
- 10:14Speaker 1: drain on our society economically and hurting Americans, but there's
- 10:19Speaker 1: a national security side of this, mister President. You keep
- 10:25Speaker 1: catching people on the Terrace watch list, and you keep
- 10:28Speaker 1: letting them go, mister President, because you're so hell bent
- 10:31Speaker 1: on allowing maximum number of illegal immigrants to come into
- 10:35Speaker 1: the United States of America, you keep catching these illegals
- 10:40Speaker 1: who have ties to ISIS human smuggling organizations, and now
- 10:47Speaker 1: you're scrambling to find over fifty potential terrorists who could
- 10:52Speaker 1: be planning to do harm to us right now. I
- 10:55Speaker 1: would then say, mister President, you and I were both
- 10:58Speaker 1: there and very much remember what happened on nine to eleven,
- 11:02Speaker 1: and I would remind him in comparison, it only took
- 11:05Speaker 1: how many people. And I would ask the president the question, beg, Joe,
- 11:08Speaker 1: do you remember how many people were involved in the
- 11:11Speaker 1: attacks on.
- 11:12Speaker 4: Nine to eleven?
- 11:13Speaker 1: I would ask that question because I don't believe that
- 11:16Speaker 1: Joe Biden could answer that question. I don't think he
- 11:19Speaker 1: would remember. And then he could say, Joe, it's nineteen.
- 11:23Speaker 1: You had nineteen hijackers that conducted the nine to eleven attack.
- 11:27Speaker 1: You now have fifty that we know about that are
- 11:29Speaker 1: unaccounted for, with direct ties to ISIS human trafficking, human
- 11:33Speaker 1: smuggling network. That on top of the countless people that
- 11:36Speaker 1: you've allowed in this country that are on the terrorist
- 11:38Speaker 1: watch list. Mister President, you're putting America's national security at risk,
- 11:44Speaker 1: in people's lives at risk. We know that they want
- 11:47Speaker 1: to do harm to us, the American people. Why are
- 11:51Speaker 1: you allowing for an open border that is allowing for
- 11:54Speaker 1: this to take place? And then I would shut up
- 12:00Speaker 1: and I would just let Joe Biden defend himself. But
- 12:04Speaker 1: I also think bury himself. I really do believe that
- 12:08Speaker 1: he would bury himself on the information that I just mentioned.
- 12:12Speaker 1: I think he would bury himself so fast because he
- 12:16Speaker 1: would get angry and just let him talk. I wouldn't
- 12:19Speaker 1: interrupt him. And even if he lies early on, I
- 12:23Speaker 1: wouldn't interrupt him. I just wouldn't. I wouldn't interrupt him.
- 12:28Speaker 1: I would just let him talk. And then at the
- 12:31Speaker 1: end I would say, mister president, this is a problem
- 12:35Speaker 1: my family, your family, whether you're a Democrat or Republican,
- 12:40Speaker 1: your lives are now at risk because of your open
- 12:42Speaker 1: border policy. And then I would make the point, this
- 12:45Speaker 1: has nothing to do with gang members or cartel members
- 12:49Speaker 1: or the fetnyl coming across. This is direct ties to
- 12:52Speaker 1: al Qaeda, to Isis, to people that want to kill men,
- 12:55Speaker 1: women and children. We witness it on nine to eleven.
- 12:59Speaker 1: You have opened up the door for them to come
- 13:00Speaker 1: in this country. We know for a fact they are.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Your administration has so overrun the border with your policy
- 13:06Speaker 1: that we cannot even when we catch them, apparently doing
- 13:10Speaker 1: a good enough background check before we let them go,
- 13:14Speaker 1: to then realize that we just let terrorists go, people
- 13:17Speaker 1: on the terrorists watch list.
- 13:20Speaker 4: So, mister president, there is a terroist.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Tech and heaven forbid that there is, and I hope
- 13:24Speaker 1: there's not, but will you at least admit at that
- 13:27Speaker 1: point that you put our lives at risk. And then
- 13:29Speaker 1: I would say that and I would shut up again,
- 13:32Speaker 1: and I'd let Joe Biden get angry. I'd let jacked
- 13:35Speaker 1: up Joe during this debate have to defend that, because
- 13:38Speaker 1: if you do it in a calm and a systematic manner,
- 13:42Speaker 1: the way that I just did it, what I think
- 13:45Speaker 1: Joe Biden will find is that he's uncomfortable. I think
- 13:51Speaker 1: you'll see Joe Biden get angry. I think you'll see
- 13:54Speaker 1: Joe Biden get extremely defensive and probably stumble or just
- 13:59Speaker 1: lie of the American people. Sometimes beating someone in debate
- 14:05Speaker 1: is not actually smacking them around and beating them that way.
- 14:09Speaker 4: Sometimes it's just bringing up.
- 14:11Speaker 1: A subject that is that puts them in an indefensible situation.
- 14:18Speaker 1: If you lay it out the way that I just
- 14:20Speaker 1: described it, I think Joe Biden is in an indefensible position.
- 14:25Speaker 1: I don't think you have to get angry. I don't
- 14:28Speaker 1: believe that you have to get in his face on it.
- 14:30Speaker 1: I don't think it has to turn into a loud,
- 14:34Speaker 1: yelling debate.
- 14:36Speaker 4: Okay. I think all you have to do.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Is lay it out for the American people and then
- 14:43Speaker 1: let the American people decide, are you safer off now
- 14:47Speaker 1: than you were four years ago?
- 14:50Speaker 4: This president?
- 14:51Speaker 1: And look, I think Joe Biden can also or Donald
- 14:53Speaker 1: Trump can also hit some points here on. You know,
- 14:56Speaker 1: the President, you said many times that your hands are
- 14:59Speaker 1: tied and Congress us act. So what's the difference between
- 15:04Speaker 1: you and me? Why is it that I was able
- 15:08Speaker 1: to stop terrorists from coming across the border and millions
- 15:12Speaker 1: and millions of illegals didn't cross when I was the president,
- 15:17Speaker 1: But when you're the president, everything changes. Unlimited illegals and
- 15:23Speaker 1: really unlimited terrorists coming across the southern border.
- 15:27Speaker 4: What changed, mister president?
- 15:29Speaker 1: The only thing that changed, and you know this, Please
- 15:31Speaker 1: don't lie to the American people while you're putting their
- 15:34Speaker 1: lives at risk. What change, mister president is he should say,
- 15:38Speaker 1: is that you became the president and you took out
- 15:42Speaker 1: a pen, and every single executive order that was protecting
- 15:46Speaker 1: us you undid because you wanted to import future voters,
- 15:51Speaker 1: you wanted an open border.
- 15:53Speaker 4: You did it.
- 15:54Speaker 1: And now these are the consequences for that open border.
- 16:00Speaker 1: And then I'll say it again, and then I would
- 16:02Speaker 1: shut up and I would let him defend that, because
- 16:06Speaker 1: I think if you do it in a way that
- 16:08Speaker 1: just is so transparent and so honest with the people
- 16:13Speaker 1: that are watching. I think you're going to have an
- 16:17Speaker 1: amazing moment. I think that's one of those campaign moments
- 16:20Speaker 1: where you actually do it in such a calm way
- 16:25Speaker 1: that it resonates with people, because, look, everybody's expecting Donald.
- 16:28Speaker 4: Trump to come in their guns a blazing.
- 16:31Speaker 1: If he comes in there and has a couple of
- 16:33Speaker 1: moments the way that I just describe them, I think
- 16:35Speaker 1: people will actually pay even more attention because of my
- 16:37Speaker 1: holy craft, this is not the joke. This is not
- 16:39Speaker 1: the Donald Trump I thought was going to be on
- 16:40Speaker 1: stage tonight. Wow, Like, this is completely different than what
- 16:45Speaker 1: I was expecting. And they'll probably end up listening to
- 16:49Speaker 1: what you're saying instead of it just being a Republican v.
- 16:52Speaker 4: Democrat debate.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Now you've taken politics out of it, and now you're
- 16:57Speaker 1: actually talking about national security issue.
- 17:00Speaker 4: Use that's the difference.
- 17:03Speaker 1: There's a very interesting, by the way new poll that
- 17:06Speaker 1: goes back to the mentality of Americans right now. They're
- 17:09Speaker 1: concerned about the economy, they're concerned about national security, they're
- 17:14Speaker 1: really concerned about inflation. And Democrats have had have tried
- 17:18Speaker 1: to tell Americans that if Donald Trump gets re elected
- 17:23Speaker 1: that he is a threat to democracy.
- 17:25Speaker 4: Now.
- 17:26Speaker 1: I could play you a montage of this, but I
- 17:28Speaker 1: think you guys have heard it enough from the left
- 17:30Speaker 1: over and over again. They're like, oh, Donald Trump's threat
- 17:33Speaker 1: to democracy. He will in this country as we know
- 17:34Speaker 1: it if he gets if he gets elected again, well,
- 17:37Speaker 1: this country will be unrecognizable. Right, it's a threat to democracy.
- 17:41Speaker 1: He's a threat to democracy. Everything's a threat to democracy.
- 17:43Speaker 1: If there's a Republican's a Republican next to a person's name.
- 17:50Speaker 1: That rhetoric seems to have now backfired in a major way.
- 17:56Speaker 1: A Washington Post poll, not a conservative publication. This is
- 18:02Speaker 1: the I would say, communist Washington Post has now come
- 18:07Speaker 1: out with a shock poll that Donald Trump is stronger
- 18:10Speaker 1: than Joe Biden on the issue of protecting the democracy.
- 18:16Speaker 4: This is very interesting.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Now David Axerod went on TV and is trying to
- 18:23Speaker 1: now flip this because he was one of those guys like, oh,
- 18:25Speaker 1: this is a threat to democracy, right, Donald Trump's a
- 18:27Speaker 1: threat to democracy. Now he's basically saying that if you're
- 18:31Speaker 1: worried about a democracy, you're a rich white person, and
- 18:35Speaker 1: that's a conversation that you have at the dinner table
- 18:37Speaker 1: as a rich white person trying to flip the narrative.
- 18:40Speaker 5: Listen, Look, I've said before, I mean, I'm Jake, you
- 18:44Speaker 5: know this. I'm the son of a Jewish refugee from
- 18:48Speaker 5: Eastern Europe, and I still love this democracy and I
- 18:52Speaker 5: think this is a central concern. But I've also said,
- 18:57Speaker 5: if you are talking about democracy over the dinner table,
- 19:00Speaker 5: it's probably because you don't have to worry about the
- 19:02Speaker 5: cost of the food on your dinner table.
- 19:06Speaker 4: Wow.
- 19:07Speaker 1: So that's a pretty big change, right, If you're talking
- 19:10Speaker 1: about democracy over the dinner table, it's probably because you
- 19:13Speaker 1: don't have to worry about the cost of food on
- 19:15Speaker 1: your dinner table. So, in other words, he's saying democracy
- 19:18Speaker 1: is for rich people.
- 19:19Speaker 4: Now, that is very different.
- 19:23Speaker 1: From what the left has been saying about this issue,
- 19:26Speaker 1: like extremely different. Let me just remind you of Hillary
- 19:30Speaker 1: Clinton when she was doing an interview recently.
- 19:32Speaker 6: Alito struck me almost immediately upon sitting down to talk
- 19:38Speaker 6: with him as a radical, as a fanatic about his
- 19:45Speaker 6: views of culture and the role of religion.
- 19:48Speaker 7: In our society, and his religion not maybe yours or
- 19:52Speaker 7: mind marks, but his religion, and I found him scary
- 19:56Speaker 7: and I said so on the floor of the Senate
- 19:58Speaker 7: when I voted against him.
- 20:00Speaker 1: So now we're going back to we're going to undermine
- 20:02Speaker 1: people that actually stand up for democracy, right, And you
- 20:05Speaker 1: notice the switch here. Michael Cohen, by the way, on MSNBC,
- 20:10Speaker 1: this is the guy that stole from Donald Trump. This
- 20:12Speaker 1: is a guy that's a convicted felon. This is a
- 20:14Speaker 1: guy that lied in court and has been to jail.
- 20:18Speaker 1: But he's the favorite love child of the of the left.
- 20:23Speaker 1: They're obsessed, they are absolutely obsessed with with Michael Cohen
- 20:30Speaker 1: because he hates Trump. He has Trump derangement syndrome. And
- 20:35Speaker 1: he goes on MSNBC and says this about the judge
- 20:39Speaker 1: partially lifting Trump's hush money gag order, which is a
- 20:43Speaker 1: victory for Donald Trump.
- 20:45Speaker 8: An update out of the New York hush money election
- 20:48Speaker 8: interference case. Today, Judge wanmershawan partially lifting that gag order
- 20:52Speaker 8: placed upon Donald Trump, the disgrace now criminally convicted ex
- 20:56Speaker 8: president is able to comment on the witnesses who testified
- 20:59Speaker 8: against him in that case. Witnesses like his former attorney
- 21:02Speaker 8: Michael Cohen and the woman Cohen paid the hush money
- 21:05Speaker 8: to Stormy Daniels. Judge Merechawn did not lift the part
- 21:08Speaker 8: of the order barring Trump from going after court staff,
- 21:11Speaker 8: individual prosecutors, and family members of any council staff member,
- 21:16Speaker 8: the court, or the district attorney. That part stays in
- 21:19Speaker 8: place until Trump's sentencing on July eleventh. Michael Cohen's response
- 21:23Speaker 8: to this quote. For the past six years, Donald and
- 21:26Speaker 8: his accolytes have been making constant negative statements about me.
- 21:29Speaker 8: Donald's failed strategy of discrediting me so that he can
- 21:33Speaker 8: avoid accountability did not work then and won't work now.
- 21:36Speaker 8: Joining us former Trump fixer and attorney Michael Cohen, host
- 21:41Speaker 8: of the Maya Kulpa and Political Beatdown podcast. He is
- 21:44Speaker 8: the author of the Book's Revenge, How Donald Trump Weaponized
- 21:48Speaker 8: the US Department of Justice against his critics and disloyal
- 21:52Speaker 8: memoir Now classic both of them. Michael Cohen, how are
- 21:56Speaker 8: you doing and how are you feeling about this scaggarder
- 21:58Speaker 8: being lifted?
- 22:00Speaker 4: I love this so like. Oh both classics.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Now, Oh, let's just give you this amazing that knows
- 22:05Speaker 1: they don't mention you're a convicted fellon, that you stole
- 22:08Speaker 1: money from Donald Trump and you had admit that under
- 22:10Speaker 1: oh don't forget you. No, no, no, you're a fixer,
- 22:12Speaker 1: Like fixer is like the gangster word of the left. Now, like,
- 22:16Speaker 1: oh man, that guy is a fixer. Yeah, he's a fixer.
- 22:20Speaker 1: That's how MSNBC introduces the guy.
- 22:23Speaker 4: Keep listening. I'm hanging in there, and.
- 22:25Speaker 9: Nicole, you know, like I said before, for six years,
- 22:28Speaker 9: he and his acolytes have been doing this. Let's not
- 22:31Speaker 9: forget the number of members of Congress and other acolyte
- 22:36Speaker 9: friends of Trump's that showed up to the courthouse when
- 22:40Speaker 9: I was testifying and the first chance that they had
- 22:43Speaker 9: to go to run out to do Donald's bidding. They're
- 22:46Speaker 9: right there in front of the camera, including people like
- 22:49Speaker 9: the number two guy in our government, Maga Mike Johnson
- 22:53Speaker 9: out there carrying Donald's water for him.
- 22:56Speaker 4: So, look, is it? Is it stressful?
- 22:59Speaker 9: Sure? Do I feel bad for myself and other witnesses
- 23:03Speaker 9: that Donald intends to go after Who knows, maybe they'll
- 23:06Speaker 9: even do it at the upcoming debate. Yes, I feel
- 23:10Speaker 9: bad for them. I feel bad for myself. But it's
- 23:13Speaker 9: what could he say that he has not said already
- 23:16Speaker 9: a thousand times. I mean, that's what Donald does he
- 23:19Speaker 9: repeats himself over and over and over. So what's he
- 23:22Speaker 9: gonna say. Michael Cohen's a liar, Michael Cohen is a gloat.
- 23:26Speaker 9: Michael Cohen didn't tell the truth. He's my lawyer. He
- 23:29Speaker 9: did it all on his own. We all know the
- 23:31Speaker 9: truth already. It's six years of me telling the same
- 23:35Speaker 9: story and Donald can't keep track of what story.
- 23:38Speaker 4: You know, he's saying.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Next, this is a guy that's been convicted of lying
- 23:42Speaker 1: and had to ammt under oath. Recently, he actually stole
- 23:44Speaker 1: from Donald Trump, pocketed cash, tens of thousands of dollars,
- 23:49Speaker 1: and MSNBC puts him up there, and now he says
- 23:53Speaker 1: that Trump he's dangerous to democracy, He's dangerous to just
- 23:57Speaker 1: the world.
- 23:58Speaker 4: So there's his one liner.
- 24:00Speaker 1: So Democrats now seem to be very divided over this, right,
- 24:04Speaker 1: do we bring up like democracy or do we kind
- 24:07Speaker 1: of just shut it down? That there's even a conversation
- 24:11Speaker 1: of how do we save democracy? On pod Save America.
- 24:15Speaker 1: It's a hardcore liberal podcast. Here's what they were saying recently.
- 24:19Speaker 10: Why is there such a disconnect? Why do people think
- 24:22Speaker 10: I mean, gosh, by.
- 24:23Speaker 4: The way, this is Katie Kirk. You're listening to in
- 24:25Speaker 4: this voice, keep listening.
- 24:26Speaker 10: This is what's left a lot of people scratching their
- 24:29Speaker 10: heads ever since twenty sixteen. Why do people think that
- 24:32Speaker 10: Donald Trump is going to make their lives better? It
- 24:35Speaker 10: is confounding to me.
- 24:38Speaker 11: Yeah, what I've come to think is for a lot
- 24:42Speaker 11: of voters, they don't think that either party or any
- 24:46Speaker 11: politician is going to necessarily make their lives better. And
- 24:51Speaker 11: so what they see in Donald Trump is someone who
- 24:53Speaker 11: is just going to smash the system. And that makes
- 24:57Speaker 11: them feel good, right, because it like, well, at least
- 24:59Speaker 11: he's gonna at least he's my guy. He's going to
- 25:01Speaker 11: like fight for me where he can, and I don't
- 25:03Speaker 11: necessarily expect him to help me. But you know, he's also,
- 25:07Speaker 11: as Tommy was saying, he's very good at blaming others. Right.
- 25:11Speaker 4: And so if Donald Trump tells you, well.
- 25:14Speaker 11: You know you would you'd be making more and we'd
- 25:17Speaker 11: have more jobs. If we just got rid of all
- 25:19Speaker 11: these undocumented immigrants, then your life would be better. If
- 25:23Speaker 11: we just cleaned up the crime and we got tough
- 25:25Speaker 11: and let the police get tough on crime in these cities,
- 25:28Speaker 11: your life would be better. And you know, unlike even
- 25:33Speaker 11: Mitt Romney or the Republicans of yesteryear. Donald Trump doesn't
- 25:36Speaker 11: talk a lot about giving huge tax cuts to corporations,
- 25:40Speaker 11: giving huge tax cuts to the wealthy, at least not publicly.
- 25:42Speaker 4: Not publicly, right, No, that's all in their agenda fundraisers. Yeah,
- 25:45Speaker 4: but they have.
- 25:46Speaker 11: You know, Trump has taught most of the Republican Party
- 25:48Speaker 11: to sort of hide the economic agenda that is not
- 25:52Speaker 11: very popular with most people in this country, and to
- 25:55Speaker 11: really lean on sort of the cultural resentment, the racial resentment,
- 25:59Speaker 11: the xenophobia that does unfortunately work with a lot of
- 26:04Speaker 11: you know, working class and middle class people of all races.
- 26:07Speaker 1: By the way, by the way, they hate you. You
- 26:10Speaker 1: hear that how to save democracy?
- 26:12Speaker 4: Right?
- 26:14Speaker 1: Is the conversation they're having, like, well, how is he
- 26:16Speaker 1: getting away with this? Well, he really hates you, you know,
- 26:18Speaker 1: he really just stands up for the big corporations. Okay,
- 26:22Speaker 1: show me the evidence that that's what he did during
- 26:24Speaker 1: the four years when he was actually the president. Well,
- 26:26Speaker 1: if you tell people to hate immigrants and their life
- 26:29Speaker 1: will be better off, they'll believe you. When did he
- 26:31Speaker 1: say that? He's saying you can come into this country legally.
- 26:35Speaker 1: But he's also said that you don't get rewarded for
- 26:37Speaker 1: breaking American laws.
- 26:39Speaker 4: So he's a law and order guy.
- 26:40Speaker 1: And where they say, oh, well, that's that's, you know,
- 26:42Speaker 1: xenophobic and this is but he's taught them to be
- 26:46Speaker 1: quiet on that, right, like not talk about that. That's
- 26:50Speaker 1: that's where you're just going to have to be quiet.
- 26:53Speaker 1: So I go back to this poll. This poll that
- 26:56Speaker 1: has just come out is the poll that Democrats are
- 26:59Speaker 1: now going to freak out over internally going into this debate,
- 27:03Speaker 1: because what it's saying is former President Donald Trump is
- 27:07Speaker 1: the strongest candidate to protect democracy. After the last year,
- 27:11Speaker 1: Democrats have been saying that Donald Trump is a threat
- 27:14Speaker 1: to democracy. Polling of six s wing states that President
- 27:19Speaker 1: Joe Biden won in twenty twenty now show that voters
- 27:22Speaker 1: believe Trump is a greater defendive democracy than Joe Biden,
- 27:25Speaker 1: outpacing the current president by a staggering double digit lead
- 27:30Speaker 1: of eleven points.
- 27:32Speaker 4: Here's the question, which candidate do you think.
- 27:35Speaker 1: Will do a better job of handling each of the
- 27:38Speaker 1: following threats to democracy in the US? The Posts says
- 27:42Speaker 1: in their question Trump forty four percent, Biden thirty three percent,
- 27:47Speaker 1: Neither sixteen percent, both seven percent.
- 27:51Speaker 4: This was a big poll, by the way.
- 27:53Speaker 1: It was a poll of more than three thousand, five
- 27:55Speaker 1: hundred registered voters in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevauta, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin.
- 28:01Speaker 1: So this is a poll now that Democrats like, holy crap,
- 28:06Speaker 1: we screwed it up with Bidenomics. That's been a disaster
- 28:10Speaker 1: with voters. They don't believe that it's working. They believe
- 28:12Speaker 1: it's hurting them. And then we try to say, well,
- 28:14Speaker 1: Donald Trump's a threat to democracy, and the voters actually
- 28:16Speaker 1: smart enough to say no, no, no, We actually think
- 28:19Speaker 1: that Donald Trump is better for democracy than the current
- 28:23Speaker 1: president of the United States of America is. And that
- 28:28Speaker 1: is why I think Donald Trump could have a very
- 28:30Speaker 1: good night. Don't forget share this podcast wherever you are
