- 0:15Speaker 1: the million bucks things. And it stood at Steve to
- 0:25Speaker 1: the mother, please don't join join me. You gotta turn,
- 1:24Speaker 1: you gotta turn to turn them out. Turn you haven't
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn them out. Then turn the water the
- 1:47Speaker 1: water go. Come come on your back. Uh huh, I
- 2:02Speaker 1: shall will come morning. Everybody you're listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 1: come on dig me now one it only Steve Harvey
- 2:09Speaker 1: Man got a radio show. Real glad about it too,
- 2:14Speaker 1: you know. Um, I hope that God always keeps me
- 2:19Speaker 1: in the frame of frame of mind to try to
- 2:22Speaker 1: be sharing and try to be motivational, and even when
- 2:27Speaker 1: it's not felt or wanted by some people. I have
- 2:32Speaker 1: people around me who seem to not benefited off anything,
- 2:37Speaker 1: and I can sit with them and talk to them
- 2:40Speaker 1: or take meetings with them to try to encourage them,
- 2:43Speaker 1: and for whatever reason, you know, they want to just
- 2:45Speaker 1: keep going the way they're going. When you run into
- 2:48Speaker 1: people like that, you have to pray for them. You
- 2:50Speaker 1: have to just hope that one day that they release
- 2:54Speaker 1: the chains on their mind and open up your mind
- 2:56Speaker 1: to a new way of thinking. A couple of things
- 2:58Speaker 1: I wanted to go over with I want you to
- 3:00Speaker 1: all today in terms of motivation, I want you to
- 3:05Speaker 1: be aware of statements or old sayings that have been
- 3:11Speaker 1: created that you hear over the course of time, and
- 3:15Speaker 1: you may be applying them to your life. And I
- 3:18Speaker 1: want you to be careful of some of them because
- 3:20Speaker 1: some of these old sayings, man, are not designed for
- 3:26Speaker 1: people who are dreamers, are not designed for people who
- 3:30Speaker 1: have any aspirations of being extraordinary. These are not designs
- 3:37Speaker 1: or sayings that people who want to be extremely successful
- 3:41Speaker 1: at anything or have high aspirations to put these sayings
- 3:45Speaker 1: into your life. Let me give you an example. Statistics
- 3:51Speaker 1: say that's it. That's the one who want you to
- 3:55Speaker 1: be careful about statistics, say, be very careful of stats.
- 4:04Speaker 1: When a person says, you know, statistics, say one out
- 4:08Speaker 1: of every what see, listen to me. These are things
- 4:12Speaker 1: that sound like they're good, sound solid advice, but they're
- 4:16Speaker 1: setting you up for failure. And you can't adhere yourself
- 4:21Speaker 1: to a lot of these sayings that's been passed down
- 4:25Speaker 1: from generations, and it's not scripture. It ain't in the
- 4:29Speaker 1: scripture nowhere that statistics say, it's just some people, and
- 4:34Speaker 1: a lot of people who have lost have come up
- 4:38Speaker 1: with these sayings to justify why they keep losing or
- 4:42Speaker 1: why they lost. When I was arst got started in
- 4:46Speaker 1: the business, there were more stand ups around now than
- 4:50Speaker 1: it is today because the comedy boom in eighty four
- 4:54Speaker 1: eighty five was it was gaining a lot of momentums,
- 4:59Speaker 1: comedy clubs, comedy nights everywhere. The statistic that a guy
- 5:04Speaker 1: told me I told him I wanted to be on
- 5:08Speaker 1: the Johnny Carson Show, the Tonight Show. The guy said,
- 5:14Speaker 1: one out of every two thousand comedians ever make it
- 5:20Speaker 1: to the Tonight Show. Okay, Now, when he told us that,
- 5:27Speaker 1: some of the comedians in the room went, well, wow, man,
- 5:31Speaker 1: oh that's rough. Because a guy had also said that
- 5:35Speaker 1: there was approximately six thousand comedians in the country at
- 5:40Speaker 1: that time. I don't know if it was true. I'm
- 5:42Speaker 1: just telling you guy was out the sputing numbers. I
- 5:45Speaker 1: have no idea how many it was, but he said
- 5:48Speaker 1: one in every two thousand will make it to the
- 5:50Speaker 1: Tonight Show. And he let the air out of everybody
- 5:53Speaker 1: in the room. Button be so every night before I
- 5:57Speaker 1: went on stage, I used to do this right here.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Baaa bada la la la da, Bada Pampa bada la
- 6:07Speaker 1: la la da. That was the tonight theme song. I
- 6:10Speaker 1: was young opening act know where near Hollywood, didn't. I
- 6:14Speaker 1: was in Cleveland telling jokes at one night us. But
- 6:17Speaker 1: that was my thing because I was bent and determined
- 6:21Speaker 1: that if it's one in two thousand, okay, why don't
- 6:24Speaker 1: I just be the one? Be careful when people say
- 6:28Speaker 1: statistics say because they are set up to ful failure.
- 6:32Speaker 1: If you're gonna adhere to him, see that one in
- 6:34Speaker 1: so many it wasn't so many people win the lottery.
- 6:36Speaker 1: But if you don't play the lottery, you ain't gonna
- 6:38Speaker 1: be the one to hip. Now when the dude hit
- 6:40Speaker 1: you go while he was lucky, but he played. Here's
- 6:43Speaker 1: another one. Maybe it's not meant to be a right
- 6:48Speaker 1: let's go one step further. I guess it wasn't the
- 6:51Speaker 1: Lord's will. Don't you dare blame God for something you
- 6:57Speaker 1: may have not done yourself because you didn't get the
- 7:01Speaker 1: proper education, because you didn't do the things you were
- 7:04Speaker 1: supposed to do, because you didn't stay to the task,
- 7:08Speaker 1: because you quit, turned around and went the other way. Now,
- 7:12Speaker 1: maybe it's not. It wasn't the Lord's will. These are
- 7:15Speaker 1: all statements that sound like sound advice, but they ain't
- 7:21Speaker 1: all the time, got nothing to do with you. Stop
- 7:24Speaker 1: letting these old fogy sayings get in your way of
- 7:29Speaker 1: what can happen in your life. Don't put all your
- 7:33Speaker 1: eggs in one basket? Wow? Who came up with this?
- 7:39Speaker 1: Who came up with the If you don't pour all
- 7:42Speaker 1: your efforts into one thing, how are you gonna be
- 7:45Speaker 1: great at that one thing? If Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordans,
- 7:50Speaker 1: Magic Johnson, Larry Bird had not played basketball sun up
- 7:55Speaker 1: to sundown, Magic Johnson didn't go to ug Michigan to
- 7:59Speaker 1: get an education. Land Burry didn't go to Indiana to
- 8:03Speaker 1: get an education. These casts was balling. Michael Jordan didn't
- 8:07Speaker 1: go to North Carolina get an education. They went to
- 8:11Speaker 1: play ball. They went to do one thing. Tiger Woods
- 8:15Speaker 1: didn't go to Stanford to get an education. He went
- 8:18Speaker 1: to play golf. As soon as he got good enough,
- 8:21Speaker 1: he'd gone. These are guys that put all their eggs
- 8:25Speaker 1: in one basket. See what's cool with putting all your
- 8:29Speaker 1: eggs in one basket is you now can maximize your
- 8:32Speaker 1: effort and laser beam. What you're doing. Your problem is
- 8:37Speaker 1: all you gotta do is make sure what is your
- 8:40Speaker 1: basket made out of. If your basket is made out
- 8:44Speaker 1: of faith, hope, hard work, and belief, then guess what,
- 8:49Speaker 1: that's a good basket. I'm dumping all mine in it.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Because ever since I was a young dude, I've been
- 8:55Speaker 1: telling jokes. One thing, one thing only. Even when he
- 8:58Speaker 1: got ugly and I was living in a car, I
- 9:01Speaker 1: never quit telling them jokes. Man. I just kept believing
- 9:04Speaker 1: that them jokes was gonna pay me one day, and
- 9:06Speaker 1: I'll be dog gone if it didn't. I ain't take
- 9:09Speaker 1: no time off. Go work at to Walmart, give me
- 9:11Speaker 1: a job, go back to Forward and beg for my
- 9:14Speaker 1: job back. Hey man, put all your eggs in a basket.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Just make sure that your basket is made up of faith, hope, belief,
- 9:22Speaker 1: hard work. Your basket woven by God. What you're tripping for,
- 9:28Speaker 1: you're defeating yourself. Where is your faith? Where is your belief?
- 9:33Speaker 1: Where is your trust? At one point in time, you
- 9:36Speaker 1: got to believe that God could do what he say
- 9:38Speaker 1: gonna do. Because he didn't done it for others, He'll
- 9:41Speaker 1: most certainly do it for you. Be careful of these
- 9:43Speaker 1: sayings that's out here that's aligned by losers and people
- 9:48Speaker 1: to justify why they are not succeeded. Don't apply this
- 9:51Speaker 1: stuff to your life. And it ain't got nothing to
- 9:53Speaker 1: do with you. You're gonna mess yourself up. All right, Okay,
- 9:57Speaker 1: you're listening show, ladies and gentlemen, make no mistake about it.
- 10:04Speaker 1: What's about to go down. This is Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Hold on, stop, wait a minute, don't stop, get it,
- 10:12Speaker 1: get it, Today's show. And I have to do this
- 10:15Speaker 1: because he gets mad when you don't do his little
- 10:19Speaker 1: damn suggestions. Today's show is dedicated to the sanitation workers
- 10:25Speaker 1: who gotta pick up more garbage. Says everybody is at
- 10:29Speaker 1: home all the time. We salute you to sanitation workers today.

- 11:00Speaker 1: that's right there. You just don't use to tie on
- 11:07Speaker 1: the ball. Well is he mad because you said it,
- 11:09Speaker 1: because he did drop off? Yet what is he doing
- 11:13Speaker 1: at his house away from the radio? What can you speak?
- 11:23Speaker 1: Can you ignorant? Did you hear your dedication? You want
- 11:30Speaker 1: to me? Thank you so much? Man. I don't get mad.
- 11:32Speaker 1: I just you know what I'm trying to. I'm just
- 11:35Speaker 1: I don't get mad. Just you know nothing. I wouldn't
- 11:38Speaker 1: say mad. You get even, you get revenge. What you
- 11:46Speaker 1: know that few times the top of the morning you
- 11:52Speaker 1: messed around it. Don't do that one. What's up to
- 11:55Speaker 1: the sanitation workers? Okay, good morning, good morning? Yeah, hey man,
- 12:00Speaker 1: can I tell y'all something that I've noticed since March nineteenth.

- 12:17Speaker 1: some new ones from Champion, Adidas and Nike. Well, I
- 12:21Speaker 1: you're wearing pants. That's a good thing out of that.
- 12:25Speaker 1: I never forget. Band you some warm up and I
- 12:28Speaker 1: bought him too small. Oh when you warm too, Steve.

- 12:35Speaker 1: my living They looked so much bigger when I bought them. Mantle.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I tried to wear it because he bought it from me,
- 12:50Speaker 1: but I forggot he little so when he held it
- 12:53Speaker 1: up he looked huge. Man, remember that? Are you coming

- 13:03Speaker 1: most I've worn. Man, it's like crazy. Man, that's good.
- 13:08Speaker 1: I'm doing drawls and no druns. Some switching days because
- 13:11Speaker 1: a lot of people to tell wear pants. Yeah, like
- 13:14Speaker 1: you say, no drums on days, I have packages, no
- 13:17Speaker 1: drugs and you feel they need to tell us that

- 17:01Speaker 1: Your ass was in that fried bacon nicket. Now then
- 17:04Speaker 1: popped on your genital. Now you down at the hospital
- 17:12Speaker 1: when you when you when you wake up in the
- 17:14Speaker 1: middle of the night and go to the bathroom. You
- 17:16Speaker 1: walking with a limp. Ain't that road with you? Your
- 17:18Speaker 1: ass is old? That's all people got that limp on
- 17:24Speaker 1: the way or two the morning? You doing that because
- 17:29Speaker 1: your knee making noise. When you stand up being making noise,
- 17:34Speaker 1: it's been cracking, jake cracking. You're going down to stay home,
- 17:40Speaker 1: Okay home. You didn't gotten the shower and just turned
- 17:44Speaker 1: on hot water. Now you stepped in there. Stay your
- 17:48Speaker 1: asses home. You ain't got you ain't got third degree burn.
- 17:53Speaker 1: You up in that season and your fish and you
- 17:55Speaker 1: start a seat sneeze and ain't ain't Ain't that that
- 17:57Speaker 1: that's from the scene that road at home. You're sitting
- 18:02Speaker 1: outside sweating and you figured out you in LA and
- 18:05Speaker 1: it's ninety five to breeze. Fool, that's why you sweat.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Step the weather, okay, the weather, weather, hell, your weed
- 18:15Speaker 1: smoke too long? You start calling one whose suckers let
- 18:24Speaker 1: it out two seconds. These are reasons you should stay
- 18:31Speaker 1: at home and down. You ain't been to your church
- 18:36Speaker 1: in four weeks. Now you think this is seeing you
- 18:47Speaker 1: got a pimple in the middle of your nose. It's
- 18:49Speaker 1: been there for forty years. I'm running there. Yeah, they're
- 18:54Speaker 1: a little busy down there. Thing. I got one moment,
- 19:00Speaker 1: that one more. Come on, you're going down to the
- 19:02Speaker 1: emergency room. You're up to the county. You want to
- 19:04Speaker 1: know where your stiminus check is. How come it ain't
- 19:07Speaker 1: come yet? You're dying there? Wrong about that, y'all ain't
- 19:16Speaker 1: gonna get the check. Please be aware of y'all like
- 19:19Speaker 1: a lot of man o, man o. Man. It's crazy,
- 19:26Speaker 1: and you know, man, it's it's it's it's their money though,
- 19:31Speaker 1: So this is the sad part about it. Man. Please
- 19:33Speaker 1: don't be deceived that someone's giving you nothing. You pay taxes. Yeah,
- 19:38Speaker 1: that's your money. That's not a favor, that's nothing. That's
- 19:42Speaker 1: that's you paid twelve hundred dollars in taxes. If you're
- 19:46Speaker 1: a working person, Oh, that's your money. Don't get excited, man,
- 19:50Speaker 1: And please don't let his name being on the check
- 19:53Speaker 1: throw you like he doing something for you. And and
- 19:56Speaker 1: the trick is they're saying that you might have to
- 19:58Speaker 1: pay that money back. Yeah when come tax time. Yeah,
- 20:02Speaker 1: he's only doing it he's only doing it to get reelected. Yeah,
- 20:07Speaker 1: he genuinely does not know how to care for people
- 20:11Speaker 1: any He genuinely doesn't. Man. Yeah, we're in a mess
- 20:16Speaker 1: if we don't vote. I mean we did. We did
- 20:19Speaker 1: it to ourselves. We get out there. You gotta exercise.
- 20:25Speaker 1: You're right, it's nothing to get food about. It's twelve
- 20:32Speaker 1: hundred dollars. When you've been out of work and you
- 20:35Speaker 1: get behind twelve hundred dollars, does what if it catches
- 20:40Speaker 1: you up? If you don't get another one next month,
- 20:44Speaker 1: you're in trouble again. Yeah, that's right, that's I mean,
- 20:49Speaker 1: it's better than nothing. But my god. Coming up next,
- 20:53Speaker 1: nephew Tommy is here to run that prank back that's
- 20:56Speaker 1: coming up right after this. You're listening Steven Morning Show.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Coming up at twenty minutes after the hour, we got
- 21:04Speaker 1: Brandy in the building. She is going to be our
- 21:06Speaker 1: special guest to start the legend. Brandy Plus. At the
- 21:10Speaker 1: top of the hour, we'll have today's entertainment news and
- 21:13Speaker 1: some national news as well. But right now it is
- 21:15Speaker 1: time for the nephew to run that prank back. What
- 21:18Speaker 1: you got for us neft bots to turn your lights off? Wow?
- 21:23Speaker 1: About to turn your lights. I'm on time. Say it

- 21:49Speaker 1: your house. I actually give ready to turn the lights off,
- 21:52Speaker 1: but I'm trying to. It's a courtesy car. We're supposed
- 21:55Speaker 1: to give it. If people can pay their bill before
- 21:57Speaker 1: we turn them off, then we collect and we keep moving.
- 22:00Speaker 1: He said, you said you who you? Who? Are you
- 22:01Speaker 1: a gatting? I'm making exactly you say, you got to
- 22:04Speaker 1: do what I'm getting ready to turn the lights off
- 22:06Speaker 1: because the bill hasn't been paid. I'm getting ready to
- 22:08Speaker 1: turn the power off. Are you here at the house? No,
- 22:12Speaker 1: I'm at work. Okay, Well listen, is there anyone at
- 22:15Speaker 1: the house that can make a payment? Make a payment.
- 22:17Speaker 1: The payment right now that I have is two hundred
- 22:19Speaker 1: and twenty one dollars and thirty six cents. Is that right? For? What? Lesson? For?
- 22:23Speaker 1: The electric bill, your sir. No, no, sir, no, sir, no, no,
- 22:26Speaker 1: there's nobody at the house, and I don't think I
- 22:28Speaker 1: owe that much. Well, that's what I have right now,
- 22:30Speaker 1: two hundred and twenty one dollars and thirty six cents.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Think my wife she already paid that sick. Okay, well,
- 22:36Speaker 1: they don't have a record of that. I'm in your
- 22:38Speaker 1: driveway right now. I'm getting ready to turn this thing

- 44:41Speaker 1: minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today, the subject
- 44:44Speaker 1: can you outgrow being ghetto? First? That's the question for ages.
- 44:55Speaker 1: We'll find out, but right now, it is a nephew's
- 44:58Speaker 1: turned U day's prank phone call? What you got for
- 45:01Speaker 1: his nap? I got a sweet little lady. I try
- 45:04Speaker 1: to I'm pushing her buttons. There's a lady in Texas
- 45:07Speaker 1: that owns a trailer home. Hag he having problems with
- 45:12Speaker 1: trailer number eighteen. This is trailer no Maid. Hello me, Sorry,
- 45:19Speaker 1: mister miss Linda. Yes, uh huh, this is one my
- 45:23Speaker 1: cousin Amy and I'm over in number eighteen. Yes, okay,
- 45:28Speaker 1: we're not gonna We're not gonna be able to pay
- 45:30Speaker 1: to pay the rent on Friday. Well when will you
- 45:33Speaker 1: be able to pay it? Um? Is it? Is it? Okay?
- 45:37Speaker 1: If if maybe you let us go for the rest
- 45:39Speaker 1: of the year with no ring, are you kidding? I mean,
- 45:43Speaker 1: you know, you gotta the whole pandemic thing, you know,
- 45:45Speaker 1: So we were like, that's not working out, but that's
- 45:48Speaker 1: just it. That's the only stalks of income that I have.
- 45:52Speaker 1: So if you're going don't pay rich, then I have
- 45:55Speaker 1: no fault from income. My water bill was over two
- 45:57Speaker 1: thousand dollars this month. How did you even caught me
- 46:00Speaker 1: and asked me a question like that? The pandemic thing
- 46:03Speaker 1: is going on, so a lot of us not working here.
- 46:05Speaker 1: Tell me about it, because that's my faults of being
- 46:07Speaker 1: come for no way, no no way, we gotta we gotta,
- 46:18Speaker 1: we gotta come on with something. So because we got
- 46:20Speaker 1: a problem here, I thought you would maybe more like
- 46:22Speaker 1: a Christian, that you you would understand. You know, I'm
- 46:24Speaker 1: a Christian, but you need to be a Christian too,
- 46:26Speaker 1: and let me and know that I can't move my
- 46:30Speaker 1: move out of my house and have no where to
- 46:31Speaker 1: stay and no food to eat. Everybody's a lot of people.
- 46:34Speaker 1: It's a lot of people are not working right now.
- 46:35Speaker 1: A lot of people are not working. You need to
- 46:37Speaker 1: look at TV and try to seek some of the
- 46:39Speaker 1: help that they're given to Tennis, because they had it
- 46:42Speaker 1: on TV just today that landlords are going and filing
- 46:46Speaker 1: reports on Tenneth's not pan and that iss a Tennis
- 46:49Speaker 1: responsibility to to try to get some assistance and some help.
- 46:52Speaker 1: But no, nobody, we don't know where, We don't know
- 46:54Speaker 1: where to go to get no assistance. Like like we
- 46:56Speaker 1: know we cannot we cannot afford a month that loan
- 47:00Speaker 1: a year and you're talking about this is not even
- 47:03Speaker 1: half the year going, and you're asking me to give
- 47:05Speaker 1: you a year free rent. What do you think this is?
- 47:09Speaker 1: What do you think I'm gonna live aout for right now?
- 47:11Speaker 1: We're not working. We're not working right now, or nobody's
- 47:14Speaker 1: working well, we're not working these because the park is
- 47:17Speaker 1: our work. That's my only source of income. I gave
- 47:22Speaker 1: everybody a year they would shutting my park down there'd
- 47:24Speaker 1: be no life, no water, no nothing over there. And
- 47:27Speaker 1: I'm not asking for everybody else, just your number eighteen,
- 47:30Speaker 1: that's all. No, and not for everybody else. Could have
- 47:33Speaker 1: the right to ask if you ask it. And you
- 47:35Speaker 1: paying the least amount of rent that you're just written
- 47:38Speaker 1: a lot. The other people are paying triple with your paying.
- 47:41Speaker 1: So no, I cannot we get we I mean we
- 47:45Speaker 1: were getting. We're supposed to get this stimulus, this stimulus
- 47:48Speaker 1: are the the the the the the stimulus check. We're
- 47:51Speaker 1: supposed to get it. But you know, we need to
- 47:55Speaker 1: do other things. You know, we gotta get some food
- 47:57Speaker 1: and and the TV is out too, and kind of
- 47:59Speaker 1: sound like you also got to get someplace to say it.
- 48:02Speaker 1: Kind of sounds like you not only have to get
- 48:03Speaker 1: that the jet to find you someplace to stay also
- 48:07Speaker 1: because no, I'm we're not gonna We're not gonna leave
- 48:09Speaker 1: and we got nowhere else to go. Okay, well you
- 48:11Speaker 1: have to leave in if you get evicted to perhaps
- 48:14Speaker 1: we're not We're not. We're not, We're not. We're not
- 48:16Speaker 1: going to leave it. We gotta get it lawyer, then
- 48:18Speaker 1: we get a lawyer. Well, get you a lawyer. Help
- 48:20Speaker 1: yourself yourself, get you a lawyer, you can get whatever
- 48:24Speaker 1: you want. But that lets me know right now that
- 48:27Speaker 1: if you know to make a trip to the hearts
- 48:29Speaker 1: and short night sought on the e fiction, that's what
- 48:32Speaker 1: that lets me know. But the answer is no. So
- 48:35Speaker 1: the conversation is ended. But we're not We're not working.
- 48:37Speaker 1: We're not working right now. I'm not working either. Well,
- 48:42Speaker 1: maybe even they when they when they look at the TV.
- 48:44Speaker 1: The president even he even knows nobody's working right now.
- 48:47Speaker 1: I'm not telling about it. I'm not working either. My
- 48:50Speaker 1: husband's not working either. None of us are working. I'm
- 48:53Speaker 1: not working either, miss miss miss Michelinda. I don't if
- 48:57Speaker 1: someone if someone come here to eighteen and try to
- 48:59Speaker 1: put us out, then then we got to kick somebody's eyes.
- 49:03Speaker 1: You gotta do what we're going to kick somebody's Somebody
- 49:06Speaker 1: come and try to put us out and we got
- 49:07Speaker 1: nowhere to go. Well, you'll be kicking the policies because
- 49:10Speaker 1: that's who gonna will be handling it. We don't do
- 49:13Speaker 1: anything illegal. We go through the court system and we
- 49:16Speaker 1: don't put we don't put anybody out the court do it? Well,
- 49:20Speaker 1: do you know I'll let them know what you're saying,
- 49:22Speaker 1: I'll let them know where do you Where do you live?
- 49:24Speaker 1: Where do you live? What? What the difference does that
- 49:27Speaker 1: make to you? I think it better if I come in,
- 49:30Speaker 1: I talkt to you face to facing. Maybe we bade deface.
- 49:33Speaker 1: No way, No, I don't need to talk to anybody's
- 49:35Speaker 1: face to face when you you your husband did then
- 49:39Speaker 1: and then you're not even on the contract for staying there.
- 49:42Speaker 1: You're telling me your cousin. I don't even know where
- 49:44Speaker 1: you come from. I don't even know who you are.
- 49:46Speaker 1: I have no clue who you even are. You say
- 49:49Speaker 1: what you gotta say? We got no successes said, we
- 49:51Speaker 1: gotta be out of here. They're going to do some
- 49:52Speaker 1: type of division. What I tell her, we're not working,
- 49:56Speaker 1: We're not. We're not working right now. When we get
- 49:58Speaker 1: back to working, then we get either, sir, I am
- 50:00Speaker 1: not working either. Okay, this conversation is ended. You have
- 50:03Speaker 1: a good day. Fine, we got Hello, who the hell
- 50:10Speaker 1: you think you're hanging up on? Hello? Can can they
- 50:12Speaker 1: speak back to a woman? Thing? Sir? Okay, just hello,
- 50:24Speaker 1: Who the hell are you think you're hanging up on? Lady?
- 50:27Speaker 1: I told you by sir, No, you did you? You
- 50:30Speaker 1: hang up on me, and I mean a minute of
- 50:31Speaker 1: a conversation. This conversation, it's ended, and good bye. That's
- 50:36Speaker 1: what I said. Now, whether you were talking and didn't
- 50:39Speaker 1: hear me, that's one thing. I don't hang up in
- 50:41Speaker 1: people's face because I don't want anybody hanging up in mind.
- 50:44Speaker 1: And I don't want to have to I say, sir,
- 50:47Speaker 1: we have nothing else to say to each other. This
- 50:49Speaker 1: conversation is ended. And I and I'm telling you, I'm
- 50:53Speaker 1: telling you now, I don't want to have to whoop
- 50:54Speaker 1: anybody's ass. But if someone come here to eighteen, that's
- 50:58Speaker 1: what's gonna happen. I'll let the don't know that. Okay.
- 51:01Speaker 1: So our conversation is over. So now you now you
- 51:03Speaker 1: know you know you gotta know who And I am
- 51:07Speaker 1: saying goodbye. Okay, what can I Can I say something else?
- 51:10Speaker 1: I can't stop you from talking, but I'm telling you goodbye.

- 51:16Speaker 1: nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Your daughter

- 52:09Speaker 1: strong with. If you come to my house, they're gonna
- 52:14Speaker 1: have to kick your ass. Well, I tell that to
- 52:15Speaker 1: the police, because that's who. That's who you're gonna be whipping.
- 52:19Speaker 1: We don't come down now ourselves. You do all that
- 52:22Speaker 1: you walk through, yeah, because that ain't gonna work out
- 52:27Speaker 1: for you. Far ready for the hour? Oh, I wasn't
- 52:31Speaker 1: ready for She was so sweet. I was trying not

- 54:14Speaker 1: Jay Bug, Hold on tight, we got it for you. Here.
- 54:19Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry Letter. All right, Thank you, nephew.
- 54:21Speaker 1: Subject Can you Outgrow being ghetto? Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm
- 54:27Speaker 1: a twenty eight year old engaged female and my wedding
- 54:30Speaker 1: was put on hold because of the pandemic. My fiance
- 54:34Speaker 1: and I are living together for the first time because
- 54:37Speaker 1: he thought it would be fun to be quarantined together.
- 54:40Speaker 1: I'm very grateful that he moved in because I'm learning
- 54:43Speaker 1: a lot about him and it's quite shocking. He is smart,
- 54:47Speaker 1: a great provider, and he's got a great personality. But
- 54:50Speaker 1: he is straight from the ghetto, and sometimes it's too
- 54:54Speaker 1: much for me to handle. We live in a town
- 54:56Speaker 1: home in an upscale community, and one morn recently, I
- 55:01Speaker 1: woke up and heard rap music and my fiance was
- 55:04Speaker 1: laughing and cursing loudly talking to a man. I went
- 55:08Speaker 1: outside and my fiance's brother was cutting my fiance's hair
- 55:12Speaker 1: on our front porch, and he was sitting in one
- 55:15Speaker 1: of my good dining room chairs. I was very ashamed
- 55:19Speaker 1: and asked my fiance to turn off the music and
- 55:22Speaker 1: come inside. He refused to do either, and he told
- 55:26Speaker 1: me I need to give use to how he lives.
- 55:30Speaker 1: But the biggest problem I had so far is him
- 55:32Speaker 1: wearing his do rags as part of his outfit wherever
- 55:36Speaker 1: he goes. If I nag him enough, he'll put a
- 55:39Speaker 1: baseball cap or a nick cap over it. We had
- 55:42Speaker 1: our worst fight the other night because he mentioned that
- 55:45Speaker 1: he will be wearing a white do rag in the
- 55:47Speaker 1: wedding to match his white tuxedo. I can't stand white tuxedos,
- 55:53Speaker 1: but I can deal with it if he promised not
- 55:55Speaker 1: to wear the d rag. He told me to wear
- 55:58Speaker 1: whatever I want and he will wear whatever he wants.
- 56:01Speaker 1: My wedding is going to be a hot, ghetto mess.
- 56:04Speaker 1: He said. I'm trying to be bugie and he isn't
- 56:07Speaker 1: into being fake. I'm reconsidering marrying him. Is ghetto a
- 56:12Speaker 1: state of mind? Can he change if he wanted to?
- 56:15Speaker 1: Please advise? All right? These are big, you know, like
- 56:20Speaker 1: blatant red flags here. One thing you don't want to
- 56:24Speaker 1: do is be living with someone who does shocking things,
- 56:28Speaker 1: things that you know nothing about. But it's good to
- 56:33Speaker 1: know while you're living together. I mean, stuff that is
- 56:36Speaker 1: too much for you to handle. And it doesn't sound
- 56:38Speaker 1: like you can handle this, like playing loud music and
- 56:40Speaker 1: cursing on the front porch. You need to know about
- 56:43Speaker 1: these things before you walk down that aisle. This is
- 56:46Speaker 1: not cool, especially since you guys live and, like you say,
- 56:50Speaker 1: an upscale neighborhood and a townhouse. That means your neighbors
- 56:54Speaker 1: can see and hear what's going on. And I guarantee
- 56:58Speaker 1: you they're not gonna like it, because again, it's not cool.
- 57:01Speaker 1: You said he refused to come in when you asked him,
- 57:05Speaker 1: and he told you to get used to it. You
- 57:08Speaker 1: should have asked him what exactly did that mean? But
- 57:11Speaker 1: then I guess he kind of explained it when he
- 57:13Speaker 1: later said that he would wear the white direg to
- 57:16Speaker 1: the wedding. That kind of you know, put it all
- 57:18Speaker 1: into perspective. No, you should have said, no. It really
- 57:23Speaker 1: shows that he doesn't care. He doesn't care about your
- 57:26Speaker 1: feelings or what you want. You know, what you might
- 57:29Speaker 1: be going through. He doesn't clear I care. I just
- 57:31Speaker 1: think these are blaring red flags that you really need
- 57:34Speaker 1: to pay attention to. You need to know what's going
- 57:37Speaker 1: on in and around you concerning him. You call it ghetto,
- 57:41Speaker 1: but whatever it is, this man is who he is.
- 57:46Speaker 1: I mean, he's telling you that you cannot change him.
- 57:49Speaker 1: Do not go into this marriage thinking you can change him.
- 57:52Speaker 1: Don't even try. He already told you that you need
- 57:55Speaker 1: to get used to how he lives. All right, He's
- 57:59Speaker 1: not changing. So the question becomes can you do this?
- 58:03Speaker 1: Can you get used to this till death? Do you part?
- 58:07Speaker 1: As the vows say? Doesn't sound like you can. It
- 58:10Speaker 1: doesn't sound like it. All right, there you go, Steve, Well,
- 58:15Speaker 1: the subject is can you outgrow being ghetto? Now? I
- 58:19Speaker 1: normally say you can outgrow it and you can help
- 58:24Speaker 1: move along, but I strongly suggest that you always maintain
- 58:28Speaker 1: pieces of it because you're gonna need it. And it
- 58:32Speaker 1: comes in very very heady. My ghettoisom has surfaced at
- 58:38Speaker 1: some very very perfect moments. Now it's got out a
- 58:44Speaker 1: couple of times against my wheel. But for the most part,
- 58:50Speaker 1: I know when to let it go. But there are
- 58:53Speaker 1: times when you just show up. I'm here and you
- 58:56Speaker 1: know you got I'll be damned. You got to deal
- 58:59Speaker 1: with it. Your fiance y'all living together because thought to
- 59:02Speaker 1: be funded being quarantine. I'm very grateful that he moved
- 59:07Speaker 1: in because I'm learning about him and it's quite shocking
- 59:10Speaker 1: see this moving in during the pandemic. What a lot
- 59:13Speaker 1: of people don't know is this has been a blessing
- 59:15Speaker 1: for a lot of people. You know, It's moved a
- 59:18Speaker 1: lot of people closer or closer to the dough. It's
- 59:23Speaker 1: those two things have happened. Yeah, it has gotten people
- 59:28Speaker 1: closer or closer to the dough. But closer is the
- 59:32Speaker 1: key word, because you're closer to quarantine. He's smart, great provider,
- 59:36Speaker 1: got a great personality. But hey, but he real gatto
- 59:40Speaker 1: and sometimes it's too much for me to handle. Now,
- 59:43Speaker 1: y'all in this upscale community. And one morning you woke up,
- 59:47Speaker 1: you heard rap music and your fiance was laughing at
- 59:50Speaker 1: Custin Lyle talking to a man. I went outside. Your
- 59:53Speaker 1: fiance's brother's cutting your fiance's hair on your front porch. No,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: and he was sitting in one of your good dining
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: room chair. Who still do that? No? Better take so
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: much on the damn top, just cussing, trying to be
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: a bitter man riding over full. I can't man, bump
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: d cut that up. Man put that part on. Now,
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: dog draw dog in my hell to Frank the barber,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: we come back. I got the rest for you, all right.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: We'll have part two of Stee's response coming up at
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour Today's Strawberry letter, Can
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: you Outgrow being Ghetto? We'll find out what Steve has
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: to say Part two right after this. You're listening to
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: the Steve Morning Show. Come on, see, let's get back
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: into the Strawberry letter for today's subject, Can you outgrow
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: being get to well? Like I said, you know you can.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: I suggest holding on to pieces of it because it
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: comes in handing, like at meetings or when you're going
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: out of something meetings. Oh yeah, oh I didn't use it.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: I'll let him come on out at some meetings and
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: let him talk to because sometimes you just gotta let
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: people have it, but you've got to be able to
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: control it. You're in a relationship, y'all, quarantine together your fiance,
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: y'all thought it be fun, and now you saw him
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: to feel different because now you didn't find out a
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: lot about him. It's quite shocking. He get on and
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: it's too much for you, y'all. In this upscale neighborhood
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: town house, you're waking up loud rapping music, fiance laughing,
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: cussing with him. Man, you go outside, your fiance brother cutting,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: cutting his hair on the front porch and he sitting
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: in one of my good down man, I'm just trying
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: to figure out what they still do that who cut
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: hair on the front postion and they cussing I was
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: very ashamed, and I asked my fiance to turn off
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: the music and come inside. I ain't cut nothing, no
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: what I gotta cut the music off. Fault baby. It's
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: a lot of people can hear this that if this
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: is my house? But baby, but baby, you're in my
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: dining room chair. Well what else I'm gonna sit there?
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: You can't get a hat cut on the bantom. Okay,
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: so now you you went on back in the house
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: because you didn't want to argue with him in front
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: of his brother, and then he told you you need
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: to get used to high he lived. But the biggest
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: problem I've had so far is him wearing due rags
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: as part of his outfit wherever he goes. He locked in.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: This is ghetto. Now I found nag him. He'll put
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: a baseball cat on nick cap over it. We had
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: the worst fight though, other night, because he mentioned that
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: he gonna be wearing listen to this. Now he gonna
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: wear a white due rag in the wedding to match
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: his white tuck seedo. I can't stand white texedough, but
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: I can deal with that if he promises not to
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: wear the do rag. He told me to wear whatever
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: I want, and he gonna wear whatever he wants. So
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: y'all ain't even gonna match at the wed You got
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: on white and he got on white. So I think
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: we got a problem. My weddinges is gonna be a
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: hot ghetto mess. He says, I'm trying to be bulgie
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: and he ain't been too being fake. I'm reconsidering mari
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: at him. It's ghetto a state of mind. Could he
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: change if he wanted to? Well, let me explain something
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: to you about ghetto. Ghetto is not a state of mind.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: Ghetto is a condition. It's a condition. It's like, uh,
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: it's kind of like having diabetes. Okay, you can live
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: with it, but you don't won't it. You know, it's manageable,
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: you can live with it a long time, have a
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: very successful life, succe, but you don't want it. It's
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: also like sicker sale. You can live with it. It's
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: a condition, but but it and it always come up
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: when it's inconvenient because it's a condition. It ain't a
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: state of mind. It's a condition that people thriving and surviving,
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: and it comes up at ly time. Nobody wants to
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: have a crisis. Nobody wants to nobody won't they sugar
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: number to go too low? Don't nobody want to fall
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: out at a radio station. Now we got to pull
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: orange juice on it. So I don't know what to
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: tell you, lady. I think you need to slow down.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: This pandemic sounds like a blessing. I think you should
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: just slow down. You've learned some things during this quarantine.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: I think you need to go back to your house
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: before y'all end up hating each other. Because now imagine this.
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: Now imagine you're married to him and you're quarantine, and
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: now he get on and he just said he ain't
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: gonna change because this young man has a problem. He's
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: not about the art of compromise, and marriage is nothing
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: but a huge compromise. Constant, You've got to constantly compromise
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: your quiet time. You'll compromise what you want to do
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: with the money, compromise where you want to go, Compromise
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: where you want to live, what you want to live on,
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: what color you want the wall to be. He ain't,
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: he ain't change it. And I can't live like that
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: no more, n Chell. But just being out on the park,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: I mean on the porch loud and that right there
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: and he ain't changing. Yeah, he's changing that. So I
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: ain't changed. I ain't gonna be bulls you off faith. Yeah,
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: he gonna ruin your life. I'm about to be real.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: I'm gonna keep it reading. Yeah, be like this, Jude
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: I took to I took one of my partners to
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: the company picnic with me. I'm playing badmint with these
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: girls on the job that I like. All of a sudden,
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: I hit this loud noise. Go, oh lord, he to
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: suckle punch my bass. What we got? Biggest mistake? I've
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: amaze all right, post your comments. Thank you Steve on

- 1:09:47Speaker 1: I am promising during the corner you're working on it now.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: I thank you, Jake. Coming up at the top of
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: the hour. This time, Vice President Pennce does wear a mask.
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: He went to a GM plant after criticism. Plus the
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: president is realizing that he may be losing. We'll talk
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: about that right after this. You're listening to show well. Yesterday,
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: Vice President Pennce wore a mask finally as he toured
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: General Motors ventilator production facility in Indiana, after coming under
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: fire for not wearing one earlier in the week and
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: violation while visiting the Mayo clinic. We all remember that scene,
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: do as I say, but not as und Yeah, that
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: was so stupid because if you saw it, did you
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: see how he was trying to hold his breath and
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: not breathe, But it was almost like he was strutting
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: around defiantly out of a mask, you know. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: I didn't like that. Just it's just it's such a
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: mixed message coming from there. That's what you know, man,
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: It was here's what deal. They just got to get
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: on the page, and it's got everything Trump says contradicts
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: what the doctors are saying. Everything contra Trump says, contradicts
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: what the governors are gonna do. I mean, man, it's
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: just a mass man. But now him and his son
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: in law Kirshner, have come out talking about how much
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: of a success this is. Kirshen is talking about this.
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: This coronavirus thing is really really Jed whatever his name is.
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: It's a huge success. This is, y'all. This is a failure, man, epic.
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: It's two hundred and fifty some thousand deaths. Man, we
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: have over a fourth of them. Yeah, that's crazy, man.
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: It is all these dead people, not to mention all
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: these people that are out of work almost the same number,
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: because there are people who had jobs that were never reported.
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: We don't know how many people are out. We have
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: no idea. This is a disaster, not a success. No no,
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: and other trending political news Steve. The President is going
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: off on his campaign advisors because the polls are now
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: showing that presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden is gaining momentum.
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: There is turmoil in the president's camp. His advisers warned
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: him about the catastrophic pandemic daily briefings, and they have
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: been bad. Publicly, mister Trump says he doesn't believe in
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: the polls, but privately, multiple media outlets report that the
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: President is not happy with his team. The president also
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: claims that the twenty sixteen election was a landslide, and
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: he refuses to acknowledge he lost the popular vote. Okay,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: he go, he gonna have to acknowledge something this this
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: next time. But I'm telling you, man, I really think people.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: I think the majority of Americans are fed up with
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: this guy. I really think they are, and I think
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: they I think they're going to show up. We just
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: gotta make sure that we played the electorial game the
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: same way the Republicans do exactly. We gotta vote, and
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: we got to stay close to the rules that they're
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: trying to change about us voting, making it difficult for
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: us to vote and voting in mail by mail because
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: that's something they really don't want. Really, what they're really
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: focusing on covid. If he lose, we're gonna have to
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: drag his ass out that house. Henna. We're focusing on voting.
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: They're focusing on suppressing the vote. Yeah, that's what they're
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: trying to do. Mut the Secret Service. No who president
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: is the new president, he ain't gonna go in so
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: crucial for him to win a second term in his
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: mind it is. I think in his mind he has
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: to win the second time because he doesn't want to
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: go to jail. Yeah. It keeps everybody off him. You
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: write se jail, Yeah, I forget about the jail part
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: until yeah. Yeah, Yeah, he's too many. They just can't
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: indict a sitting president. He has so many indictable defenses. Yeah,
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: he don't have jail hair, so he can't go and
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: you can keep up right again, he's climbing the two
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: sixteen election was a landslide. Huh denial, Yeah, everybody, Yeah,
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: he does. That's a junior denial about after he's holvid everything.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: Thank you, all right, we'll coming up. We'll have more
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: music and trending topics and some headlines. At twenty minutes
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: after the hour, right after this You're Morning show, the
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: Kentucky governor apologized to Tupac Shakur. Did you guys hear
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: about this story? Tupac, who was accused of fraudently filing
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: for unemployment benefits. Governor Andy Bascher wrongly believed there's only
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: one Tupac Shakur. Well, there's at least two Tupac the rapper,
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: of course, who was murdered two decades ago. Well, another
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: is unemployed in Lexington, Kentucky. Before the pandemic. The forty
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: six year old had been a short order cook at
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: this Irish pub. While Governor Basher called mister Shakur to
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: apologize because this Tupac and Kentucky prefers to go by
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: his middle name Malik. Anyway, the Office of Unemployment Insurance
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: is working to resolve the claim. The governor made an
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: example out of Tupac. Fate claims had slowed the state
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: in distributing and distributing the benefits. The governor said, quote,
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: we had somebody apply for unemployment for Tupac Shakur. One
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: person thinking that they were funny is going to make
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: tens of thousands of people. Wait, but he was real.
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: He wasn't fake. Yeah, he was real. You appreciate it.
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: I know, I'm mad at you. I wonder how old
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: he is? Six? No, yeah, yeah, forty six? Yeah. All right, Well,
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show and
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: some trending news coming up at thirty three minutes after
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: the hour. Right after this picture me, Roland, you're listening

- 1:20:07Speaker 1: last break of the day and last break of the week. Actually,
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: it's been a good day, a good Friday. Wow, that's
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: a new Monthy like Monday though, Yeah, like Monday feels
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: like Wednesday. I don't know what it feel like no more.
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: But don't they go by fast? To you? In this
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: pandemic having the days and weeks the month of March
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: didn't Hell, yeah, March, you're right, Mirch went by long
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: forever to me, he flew by, Yeah, April. Well you
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: know what it is though. I think I think it's
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: because nobody has a whole lot to do and it's
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: just easy, casual days and next thing you know, it's dark. Yeah. True,
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: that's for y'all because I got people talk to here,
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: we go. What's it like for you, Junior? Yeah? Yeah,
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: it's like like for me. I see the clock moving
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: every minute we're looking at it. Junior, get to you.
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: I got some stuff over here that once you partaking it,
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: your place will be full of people. Hey, if anybody
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: come across any lightsong at all, have y'all taught me?
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: There are certain areas where you can get everything everything.
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: It's certain areas. There's certain areas man, who are stories.
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: They're just shelves. It's full. And then there's stories where
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: you can't get nothing. Like if you're in Buckhead in Atlanta,
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: you're in trouble. You can't get nothing, that's true. No,
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: I can't find it. But you go out alfredda stuff
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: like that, nor across you can get whatever what you
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: want find ail anymore. You just said it. I've been
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: looking for I didn't even find even call them in
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: the several stories and they cannot find it. Lube, I cannot.
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: He'd be setting y'all up, y'all. I'll never ask him
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: what y'all go, what we want to do it, because
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: y'all knows he'd just be setting y'all up. All right. Uh.
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: In my close remarks today, you know, I want to
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: just remind people of something. You know, We've been talking
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: about this virus all the time. I've been doing special
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: commentary this week because I'm just I'm frustrated with this
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: government and what they keep claiming, and now they switching
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: and trying to make you think that this is a
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: huge success. Sixty thousand people is not a success. We
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: have over sixty thousand deaths. We have a fourth of
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: the contaminated people in the world. We have a fourth.
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: We're not the fourth, We're not even the fourth of
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: the world. That this is not a success. But I
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: tell you what, in all of this, what we all
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: can still have is faith. What we all can still
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: have is relationship with our creator. What we all can
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: still have is the understanding that that that that that
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: the law of attraction is at work, that prayer changes things.
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: We got this man, We got this, just like we've
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: had to get every other thing that has befallen us.
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: You think about us, man, who is better position and
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: better equipped to handle hardship than us? Man? Do you
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: understand what we've been through, what we've gone through, what
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: we've had to accept, what we've had to deal with,
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: how many faith promises? That's why all is lying out
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: the White House. Now, I don't really bother us. Man.
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: That's power for the cause. The fact that the government
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: is not coming over the heel for us. The government
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: has never come over the heel for us. The fact
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: that we're always lacking in in in supplies, in schools,
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: in teachers, and equipment, in housing and everything. But let
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: me tell you something. There are some things you can
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: do about this man. You can vote, You can fill
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: out this twenty twenty census. This is important, y'all. To
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: fill out the census is important. They're not interested in
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: picking you up if you're not legal in nothing that's
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: against the laws. A matter of fact, they can't use
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: any information on this system in a court of law
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: or to bring you to justice or none of this.
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: This ain't to find out where you're at if you
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: got warrants. It's against the law to do that. What
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: the census does is it counts us. There was a
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: story of a lady who was walking a mile when
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: she got off the bus at night, and her husband
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: was watching the baby at the house so he couldn't
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: go out to get her. They didn't have a car.
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: She gets off the bus and the nearest bus stop
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: to their house is a mile away. The whole thing
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: was saying, if we fill out the census, where we
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: discovered that there's more working people in a certain area,
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: they might add another bus stop. This is how important
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: the census is. There are things that we can do
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: to make things better for us, but we've got to participate,
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: we've got to vote, and we've got to fill out
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: this twenty twenty census form. Look, man, at the end
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: of the day, no matter what they do in the
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: White House, we still have control of our house. The
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: government is not in control of your house. You are.
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: Keep your relationship ship with God type, keep your family tight,
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: handle your business, do the things that you can do politically,
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: and the rest of it. It's your house. Don't give
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: him permission to be in charge of your house when
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: they up there messing up the White House. Those are
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: my closing remarks. All right, everybody have a great weekend.
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: That's gonna be just like the other day. Thank you,
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: and yeah, now I'm being good man, I'm I'm on.
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: I'm on a mission man, accomplishing some things. Anybody want
