- 2:07Speaker 1: now one it only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Yeah,
- 2:11Speaker 1: man boy, God has been good to me. Yeah. I
- 2:17Speaker 1: can't really count it all. You can't either, You know,
- 2:20Speaker 1: it's all in perspective. You really can't count all that
- 2:23Speaker 1: God has done for you if you look at every
- 2:26Speaker 1: little thing. It's unbelievable the things He's done for us.
- 2:30Speaker 1: How many times you know we we got through something
- 2:33Speaker 1: without even talking to him about it. He just he
- 2:36Speaker 1: just blessed us with it. How many you know? It's
- 2:38Speaker 1: just it's it's so much that the fact that you
- 2:41Speaker 1: wake up in the morning, the fact that you still
- 2:44Speaker 1: have a place to stay. The fact that you know
- 2:46Speaker 1: may be struggling out here, but guess what, you're still
- 2:48Speaker 1: going to work. You you know, you live in check
- 2:51Speaker 1: the check, but but you're making it all. You got
- 2:53Speaker 1: all the plates spinning. You know, it's hard. You got
- 2:55Speaker 1: a lot of plate spinning, but you keep him up
- 2:57Speaker 1: there somewhere. Every now I near one break, but he
- 2:59Speaker 1: put to more back up there to look a little
- 3:01Speaker 1: bit better. And you got to get to spending them
- 3:03Speaker 1: so it all works um. And then you got a
- 3:06Speaker 1: lot of people who just can't seem to mentally put
- 3:10Speaker 1: it together as to uh, you know, why their life
- 3:15Speaker 1: isn't in a position that they wanted to be. We
- 3:17Speaker 1: talked about this oftentimes, but don't want to try another
- 3:20Speaker 1: angle with you to day. You know, maybe it's you.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Have you ever thought about that? Maybe it's you. Maybe
- 3:31Speaker 1: it's no external force that's at fault, like you keep
- 3:34Speaker 1: making the excuse to me. You know, so many people
- 3:38Speaker 1: are here. Well, if this hadn't have done this, if
- 3:40Speaker 1: he hadn't have done that, if she hadn't have done that,
- 3:43Speaker 1: I would have been further along. I wasted all my time,
- 3:47Speaker 1: my years with this man, and he did this, and
- 3:50Speaker 1: I could have been here and I could have been there.
- 3:52Speaker 1: And this woman she did this to me. If she
- 3:55Speaker 1: hadn't have done that, I could have been here and
- 3:57Speaker 1: I could have been there. Maybe it's you. Maybe it's
- 4:02Speaker 1: not really that external force that you keep making it
- 4:06Speaker 1: out to be. See, I've done this to myself before.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Once again, I'm talking to you about something I know about.
- 4:15Speaker 1: I've done this to myself before. I've had the reason
- 4:19Speaker 1: I wasn't where I wanted to be. I had it
- 4:22Speaker 1: figured out as some external force. I had worked it
- 4:27Speaker 1: out in my mind. Clearly it wasn't me because of
- 4:32Speaker 1: so and so or if this hadn't happened, and if
- 4:35Speaker 1: they hadn't have done this, I would have been further
- 4:37Speaker 1: along up the road. That's what I was saying. But
- 4:41Speaker 1: WOLDO hold on that? But I learned a valuable lesson. Man. See,
- 4:46Speaker 1: if you don't ever let it go, it's gonna be
- 4:51Speaker 1: hard for you to go. If you don't ever let
- 4:57Speaker 1: it go, it's gonna be hard for you to go.
- 5:01Speaker 1: I was listening to Bishop T. D. Jake's one day,
- 5:04Speaker 1: and I heard him say, you can't drive your car
- 5:10Speaker 1: if you're gonna keep looking in the rear view mirror.
- 5:14Speaker 1: You go outside and try that, Try to drive your car,
- 5:17Speaker 1: but keep your eye in the rear view mirror. All
- 5:20Speaker 1: you're looking at it's where you're being. All you're looking
- 5:24Speaker 1: at in that rear view mirror, it's where you're passed
- 5:26Speaker 1: or should have passed, something you should have moved on from.
- 5:30Speaker 1: All you're doing is looking in that rear view mirror
- 5:33Speaker 1: at what happened back there. If you don't stop looking
- 5:38Speaker 1: in the rear view mirror, you're gonna crash your car
- 5:41Speaker 1: over and over and over again. All you got to
- 5:46Speaker 1: slow it down so bad in order for you to
- 5:50Speaker 1: keep looking in that rear view mirror. If you don't
- 5:55Speaker 1: learn to let it go, it's gonna be hard for
- 5:58Speaker 1: you to go forward because you keep reviewing the past.
- 6:05Speaker 1: The past is the past, and I know it's hard. Man.
- 6:08Speaker 1: I watched the show and this lady said, well, I
- 6:11Speaker 1: just can't ever forgive them for that, or guess what.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Guess what God may have already forgiven that person. That
- 6:20Speaker 1: person may be extremely remorseful, could have gone to God
- 6:24Speaker 1: and gotten forgiveness for it years ago. But you you
- 6:30Speaker 1: sit here and you keep hanging on to the back.
- 6:33Speaker 1: I can't ever forgive that. M Then I heard Bishop
- 6:37Speaker 1: Jakes come on the show one time and say something
- 6:39Speaker 1: that really really struck on You keep drinking the poison,
- 6:44Speaker 1: waiting on your enemy to die. He said that. I
- 6:50Speaker 1: just shook my head and went wild. You're drinking the
- 6:54Speaker 1: poison waiting on your enemy to die. Revenge is poison
- 7:01Speaker 1: to you. You know, if hatred is poising to you
- 7:07Speaker 1: unforgivingness when you won't forgive a person, that person could
- 7:12Speaker 1: be going on with their life, made the right with God.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Don't know how you're feeling. They're skipping through life now.
- 7:18Speaker 1: You make adjustments every time you see And it takes energy. Man,
- 7:22Speaker 1: It takes so much energy to hate. It takes so
- 7:26Speaker 1: much energy not to forgive too. If that ain't coming
- 7:29Speaker 1: to room, you got to avoid them. Stay over here, um,
- 7:32Speaker 1: oh here they come. Now you got to make a
- 7:34Speaker 1: situation over here. They come into the house. It's family reunion. Oh,
- 7:38Speaker 1: here they come. And where they're gonna be in the basement.
- 7:41Speaker 1: I'm going to be on the third floor. I want
- 7:42Speaker 1: to go ahead and get some barbecue. She out there
- 7:44Speaker 1: at the barbecue staying, Oh lord, I don't want a barbecue.
- 7:47Speaker 1: I just need to take this out. People man take
- 7:49Speaker 1: themselves all out of position, trying to make adjustments, when
- 7:53Speaker 1: if you it would simplify your life, if you would
- 7:58Speaker 1: let just let it go. May be you ain't where
- 8:00Speaker 1: you need to be because of them external forces altogether.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Maybe you're not where you need to be cause of you,
- 8:08Speaker 1: because you won't let it go, you won't move forward.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Look at this, ladies, Let's say you've been in a
- 8:15Speaker 1: situation with him man for years. It didn't work out.
- 8:19Speaker 1: For whatever the reason, it just didn't work out. I
- 8:23Speaker 1: got I got what you said he did. I got
- 8:25Speaker 1: what he did. I got he all of that. Y'ada, YadA, YadA.
- 8:28Speaker 1: When you get through did not God get you through it?
- 8:34Speaker 1: Did not he allow you to survive it. I got you,
- 8:40Speaker 1: got some cuts on you, I got you been a
- 8:42Speaker 1: little bit bruised. But did he not get you through it?
- 8:47Speaker 1: So now that he's freed you from it, now he
- 8:49Speaker 1: didn't went on. He got a whole another family over
- 8:51Speaker 1: that somewhere. He not. Now he trying to make it
- 8:54Speaker 1: right because maybe he learned the mistake he made and
- 8:57Speaker 1: now he's trying to be a better man. He just
- 8:58Speaker 1: trying to get it right now. But you're sitting there
- 9:01Speaker 1: holding onto it. You're drinking the poison, waiting on your
- 9:05Speaker 1: enemy to die. So now, instead of you enjoying the
- 9:08Speaker 1: blessing of finally being free from a situation that was
- 9:11Speaker 1: not healthy for you, you create an even more unhealthy
- 9:14Speaker 1: situation in your mind by hating, by having revengeful thoughts,
- 9:20Speaker 1: by hoping he fall on his face. Maybe you're even
- 9:23Speaker 1: doing something to the other situation to make sure they struggle.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Oh man, you're drinking the poison, waiting on your enemy
- 9:31Speaker 1: to die. Maybe you ain't where you ought to be
- 9:33Speaker 1: in life, not because of your external forces, but maybe
- 9:36Speaker 1: it's you. If you don't let it go, it's gonna
- 9:41Speaker 1: be hard for you to go. You can't keep driving
- 9:45Speaker 1: your car looking in the rear view mirror. Come on, man,
- 9:50Speaker 1: Forgiveness is not for the other person. Forgiveness is for you.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Bishop Jake's got a book out man called Let It Go.
- 10:00Speaker 1: I'm telling you read this book. It will help youself.
- 10:03Speaker 1: It's not just for people who who are angry. This
- 10:06Speaker 1: is for people, man, who don't even know the little
- 10:09Speaker 1: things you holding on too. You don't even know the
- 10:12Speaker 1: name of the book is Let it Go? Man. I
- 10:14Speaker 1: had to read it and go, wow, man, I had
- 10:16Speaker 1: really had to check myself all that I know about
- 10:18Speaker 1: this thing called life and trying to succeed. I still
- 10:22Speaker 1: need refreshing courses and remind us every now and then,
- 10:25Speaker 1: maybe hold on, man, Maybe you've been sometimes Man, it's
- 10:29Speaker 1: just you holding on to a business practice too long.
- 10:33Speaker 1: You know. I had to catch myself. You know, I
- 10:35Speaker 1: said a thousand times, if you keep doing what you've
- 10:38Speaker 1: been doing, you're gonna keep getting what you've been getting.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Maybe you need to change your business practice. Maybe it's
- 10:43Speaker 1: the way you've been doing a certain thing. You just
- 10:46Speaker 1: got to let that go, because if you let it go,
- 10:49Speaker 1: it frees you up to go. It's hard to get
- 10:52Speaker 1: to the next level with all that baggage. Steve Harvey
- 10:56Speaker 1: Morning Show. Ye, you're listening to show ladies, ladies, ladies.
- 11:05Speaker 1: I would say gentlemen, but I don't care. So ladies, ladies, ladies, ladies,
- 11:12Speaker 1: not boys and girls. How about the girls, because that's
- 11:15Speaker 1: what makes the world go around girls and ladies. It's
- 11:19Speaker 1: a woman's world, yes, it is. It's a woman's world. Yeah,
- 11:25Speaker 1: James Brown said it was a man's world, but it
- 11:28Speaker 1: wouldn't be nothing without a woman or girl a true statement,
- 11:33Speaker 1: which means it's really a woman's world. Welcome to the show.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Here are two of them now, Good morning, Shirley, Good morning, Steve,

- 13:25Speaker 1: shut him down. How about that big boy from Kansas.
- 13:28Speaker 1: He always used that they got one, but Kansas could
- 13:34Speaker 1: be there. I think Kansas will make the final four
- 13:37Speaker 1: because they got some players. Malik Newman is coming around

- 23:38Speaker 1: is this? My name is Daniel? Were you um? Were
- 23:42Speaker 1: you guys married a Greater New Missionary Baptist Church? Uh
- 23:46Speaker 1: let me see yeah, yeah, yep, yep, that's the name
- 23:49Speaker 1: of that church. Yeah, great by nine years? Yeah, that's right.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Why what's going on? What's asked me all these questions? Okay,
- 23:56Speaker 1: do you remember the minister that officiated your actual wedding ceremony? Yeah?
- 24:02Speaker 1: Uh reverend right, Okay, I got the right person. I
- 24:06Speaker 1: wanted to make sure I had the right person, Brian.
- 24:09Speaker 1: So I'm I'm sorry if it seemed a little weird
- 24:12Speaker 1: to you. Here's here's what's going on. We've just come
- 24:15Speaker 1: up with a new discovery a lot of information that
- 24:19Speaker 1: Reverend none of his credentials are true. Everything is false.
- 24:24Speaker 1: He's not a minister at all, he never was a minister,
- 24:28Speaker 1: and every single wedding ceremony that he officiated is basically
- 24:34Speaker 1: null and void. So and I hate to be the
- 24:37Speaker 1: bear of bad news, but you and Alphea, even though
- 24:41Speaker 1: you think you've been married for nine years, you guys
- 24:44Speaker 1: are not married. No, no, no, no, not that you
- 24:48Speaker 1: gotta have the wrong person, because then that then we
- 24:50Speaker 1: got we got married by nine years ago. And what
- 24:58Speaker 1: I'm telling you is he he's he never was ordained.
- 25:01Speaker 1: He's never been an ordained minister. He's not a minister
- 25:04Speaker 1: at all. So when he performed this ceremony, you're a
- 25:07Speaker 1: wedding ceremony. He had no right to be doing that.
- 25:10Speaker 1: You guys are not are not married. You know, you
- 25:13Speaker 1: guys have been living in sin for nine years. Hold on,
- 25:16Speaker 1: hold hold on that. Let me tell you something. I
- 25:18Speaker 1: ain't been living. Man and my wife we have been
- 25:21Speaker 1: married for nine years. And that man he's a preacher.
- 25:24Speaker 1: I'm telling he's a preacher. Sunday Sir, as of today,
- 25:28Speaker 1: he has he has no right to be in anybody's pulpit.
- 25:32Speaker 1: He has no right to be officiating, whether it's weddings
- 25:34Speaker 1: or funerals, no matter what it is, christenings for children.
- 25:38Speaker 1: He's not allowed to do that, and we have officially
- 25:41Speaker 1: stopped him from doing anything serving under UH as being
- 25:45Speaker 1: a pastor or a minister. We have stopped that. But
- 25:49Speaker 1: what I want you to know is that you have
- 25:50Speaker 1: been living in sin and you don't you get that.
- 25:54Speaker 1: We want to try and get you guys married as
- 25:56Speaker 1: soon as possible, so you're not living in sin. Oh No,
- 25:59Speaker 1: I ain't been living in no sin. I have been
- 26:02Speaker 1: married for nine years. This woman ship been taking care
- 26:05Speaker 1: of me and my kids for the past nine Wait,
- 26:08Speaker 1: wait a minute, you guys. Have you guys have children? Yeah, yeah,
- 26:11Speaker 1: we we got to two kids, two beautiful kids. Okay,
- 26:14Speaker 1: then those kids are bastards, statis. Let me tell you something.
- 26:18Speaker 1: My kids ain't no bastard. What about your kids, your
- 26:20Speaker 1: kids on basketts? No, sir, my kid My kids were
- 26:23Speaker 1: born in wedlock. Your kids have been born out. I'm
- 26:27Speaker 1: telling you that man did my service and he is
- 26:31Speaker 1: a preacher. He's a man after God's own heart himself.
- 26:35Speaker 1: He hasn't done everything that he could for me and
- 26:37Speaker 1: my family. He is a preacher, sir. I don't. I
- 26:40Speaker 1: know it's hard for you to to to swallow the truth,
- 26:43Speaker 1: but I want you to know and I need you
- 26:45Speaker 1: to be able to tell out fia that you guys
- 26:46Speaker 1: are not married, not as of right now now. No, okay,
- 26:51Speaker 1: so I heard of hun now back in olden days.
- 26:54Speaker 1: But before all these all these colleges and stuff came
- 26:57Speaker 1: came about. You telling me that them men making old days,
- 27:00Speaker 1: that they weren't no placers, that they weren't meant men
- 27:03Speaker 1: after the call? Is that what you're saying to me? Uh?
- 27:06Speaker 1: What what? What are you? What are you? What are you?
- 27:07Speaker 1: What are you getting at? Sir? What I'm trying to
- 27:09Speaker 1: say is back in the older day making the twitters
- 27:12Speaker 1: and thirties, they didn't have all these colleges and all
- 27:14Speaker 1: these degrees and stuff like these new preachers got these
- 27:16Speaker 1: days that man now he was from back then, and
- 27:20Speaker 1: God called them and that's what they went on too.
- 27:22Speaker 1: And all the people that they married back then they
- 27:25Speaker 1: did the same thing to day. You don't need no
- 27:27Speaker 1: degree to say that that you're a preacher. You don't
- 27:29Speaker 1: need no life to say you're a preacher. Man. My
- 27:32Speaker 1: wife would be married for nine years. My kids have
- 27:34Speaker 1: been born in wedlocks. We were married, we were mad,
- 27:39Speaker 1: My friends and family day was all there, sir. The
- 27:41Speaker 1: bottom line is that that you have been living in
- 27:44Speaker 1: sin because you have not been married with your wife
- 27:47Speaker 1: for the last nine years. And your kids, I hate
- 27:50Speaker 1: to say it, your kids are bastards. Now O now
- 27:53Speaker 1: I've told you, don't say nothing else about my kids, said,
- 27:56Speaker 1: I ain't no cuss up, but don't push me. My
- 27:58Speaker 1: kids ain't no bad I said. You're understand me. You
- 28:01Speaker 1: don't get me up, Sir. I'm trying to give you
- 28:03Speaker 1: the truth and try to get you in here and
- 28:05Speaker 1: get you married so you will not be living in
- 28:06Speaker 1: sin any more than what you are. I am living
- 28:09Speaker 1: in no sins. Look, now, you don't make me whoop
- 28:12Speaker 1: your a. S s You're understand me and my wife
- 28:15Speaker 1: we have been married for nine years. Don't shoot up
- 28:18Speaker 1: here called me talking about the way. Ain't man that
- 28:21Speaker 1: that man ain't fature. You're understand I get off my phone.
- 28:25Speaker 1: You that's my life. Those are my kids. They have
- 28:28Speaker 1: been born in red life. Do you understand, sir? So
- 28:31Speaker 1: I just wanted to call and give you the information
- 28:34Speaker 1: so that you could probably stop living in sin. That's
- 28:36Speaker 1: all I wanted to do. I ain't living in no sin,
- 28:38Speaker 1: That's what I just told you. You ain't hear me.
- 28:40Speaker 1: I ain't living a no sin. Maybe you're the one
- 28:41Speaker 1: that's living up some sin. Now. You ain't got nothing,
- 28:44Speaker 1: el said to me that man that never nine years
- 28:47Speaker 1: ago they get your a ss on my phone, sir.
- 28:50Speaker 1: So I have one more thing, one more thing I'd
- 28:52Speaker 1: like to say. You ain't done nothing else to say
- 28:54Speaker 1: to me. You ain't get your ass off my d
- 28:57Speaker 1: am phone. Now do you understand me? I ain't got
- 29:00Speaker 1: time for this, sir. Could I say one more thing?
- 29:03Speaker 1: What you gotta say on me now? Because I just
- 29:05Speaker 1: wanted to let you know that This is nephew Tommy
- 29:07Speaker 1: from the Steve Harping Morning Show. Your wife and I
- 29:10Speaker 1: feel got me to prank phone call you. Oh man?

- 30:50Speaker 1: I just don't like the players. I don't like your players.
- 30:56Speaker 1: I don't care. Look good. BA ain't going nowhere. They
- 31:00Speaker 1: look good, though, You're all right about that. They got
- 31:01Speaker 1: a good squad. They're gonna get that little bracket a
- 31:04Speaker 1: little breeze. But I don't know if they can get
- 31:06Speaker 1: all the way, it's gonna be a you know, it's
- 31:07Speaker 1: always gonna be a Cinderella. Yeah, you know. I don't know,
- 31:12Speaker 1: But I gotta see a game or two I gotta
- 31:15Speaker 1: see somebody, you know, I gotta when did when does
- 31:17Speaker 1: it start? Today? Today? Starts today? Today? Yeah? Today? Choose? Yeah?
- 31:24Speaker 1: What's that school? I always show up to start with
- 31:27Speaker 1: a V. What's that school? No? Not Villanova? And I'm
- 31:32Speaker 1: gonna tell you a minute. Yeah, I gotta, I gotta
- 31:34Speaker 1: ask a question just to get in common goes. I
- 31:36Speaker 1: don't really know what about the team with all the
- 31:39Speaker 1: white guys on there. Yeah, that's HEMI let me tell
- 31:44Speaker 1: you so. I watched the basketball game between St. Mary's
- 31:49Speaker 1: and B y U. Uh. St Mary's and B y U.
- 31:55Speaker 1: I looked on the floor and it was ten white dudes,
- 31:59Speaker 1: And it was so strange to see a televised basketball
- 32:03Speaker 1: game with ten white guys on the floor. It just
- 32:05Speaker 1: looked strange. Oh they was hoping. Oh them boys was bawling. Man.
- 32:11Speaker 1: But it was just strange to look out there and
- 32:14Speaker 1: see ten white guys on the floor. I thought something
- 32:18Speaker 1: had happened. I didn't know what it was, no sious
- 32:21Speaker 1: Like I was flipping through and I hit the channel.
- 32:23Speaker 1: I went, what happened? And I looked on the bench
- 32:26Speaker 1: and some suspensions come out. What happened? What is the bros?
- 32:32Speaker 1: Sitting at this game they knelt. I thought, I thought
- 32:39Speaker 1: something that happened. So I watched about five six minutes
- 32:42Speaker 1: and then they bought this big tall brother in from
- 32:44Speaker 1: b y U. And if it wasn't for his hair,
- 32:47Speaker 1: I wouldn't have knew that. But I said, okay, they
- 32:50Speaker 1: go abroad. Then saw a couple more come out there later.
- 32:52Speaker 1: I thought, yeah, I thought we were protesting something I
- 32:57Speaker 1: need to know because I gotta tell her everybody. Hey, man,
- 33:00Speaker 1: Brauns from St. Mary's and b while you set out. Hey,
- 33:05Speaker 1: speaking of brothers, what what about Tiger Woods back? He
- 33:10Speaker 1: was looking good at one game? What he did? No, No,
- 33:13Speaker 1: a couple of tournaments. He must be back on the dad.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Wait wait, I'll do it boy. White women get wait
- 33:21Speaker 1: wait wait, white women to get your game back together? Women,
- 33:25Speaker 1: your game come up? And why do you say that
- 33:30Speaker 1: day because he's crazy to get your game bag. Somebody
- 33:37Speaker 1: somebody telling him that your gaming. They'll be ready. No,
- 33:45Speaker 1: like like the angle whe women, you're right and jay
- 33:53Speaker 1: game right. Let me get the game right there. You'd say,
- 33:56Speaker 1: look all right on that note, we're gonna please take
- 34:08Speaker 1: us to the news. Steve, I think, I said a
- 34:12Speaker 1: black woman ladies and gentlemen, MS and trip, I'm sil
- 34:21Speaker 1: thank you very much, and yes black, I am and proud.
- 34:23Speaker 1: This is a trip with the news. Alright. Somebody's been
- 34:25Speaker 1: making bombs in Austin, Texas and there have been three
- 34:28Speaker 1: blasts just over the last ten days. Authorities say the
- 34:31Speaker 1: latest explosion critically injured a seventy five year old Hispanic
- 34:34Speaker 1: woman that came on the heels of two other bombings,
- 34:36Speaker 1: one which killed the seventeen year old boy, seriously injured
- 34:39Speaker 1: a woman in her forties, and then there was another
- 34:41Speaker 1: bomb blast on March second, the left of thirty nine
- 34:44Speaker 1: year old man dead. Austin's police chief is Brian Manley.
- 34:47Speaker 1: This is the third in what we believe to be
- 34:50Speaker 1: related incidents that have occurred over the past ten days,
- 34:53Speaker 1: and similar to what we have said in the earlier instances,
- 34:56Speaker 1: we want the community to be aware of what is
- 35:00Speaker 1: going on because, again, based on evidence that we have
- 35:03Speaker 1: at this scene as well as at the other two
- 35:05Speaker 1: scenes where we've had these explosions, this evidence makes us
- 35:09Speaker 1: believe that these incidents are related. Officials say the bombs
- 35:12Speaker 1: were placed on the victims front porches, they went off
- 35:14Speaker 1: when they were picked up. So far, all of the
- 35:16Speaker 1: victims have been either black or Latino. President Trump goes
- 35:20Speaker 1: to California today. He's schedule who for a big fundraiser
- 35:23Speaker 1: in Beverly Hills later tonight. He's also going to stop,
- 35:26Speaker 1: they say, in San Diego, to check out the eight
- 35:28Speaker 1: prototypes for his promised border wall. Trump's announced his school
- 35:31Speaker 1: safety proposals. By the way, they call for allowing states
- 35:34Speaker 1: to arm teachers, identify people who could be threats to
- 35:36Speaker 1: themselves or others, and make the current background check system
- 35:40Speaker 1: more efficient. However, it does not does not include raising
- 35:43Speaker 1: the age to buy a gun to twenty one. That's
- 35:45Speaker 1: something the President told the students, had Florida's Stoneman Douglas
- 35:48Speaker 1: High that he was in favor of. However, the n
- 35:50Speaker 1: r A is against it. The porn actress who claims
- 35:53Speaker 1: that she had an affair with Trump and was paid
- 35:55Speaker 1: on the thirty grand not to talk about it poorly
- 35:57Speaker 1: offering to pay the money back in order to speak
- 35:59Speaker 1: for me about everything. Right now, Stormy Daniels not legally
- 36:02Speaker 1: allowed to talk about her alleged as two thousand and
- 36:05Speaker 1: six affair with Trump because of the nondisclosure agreement. She
- 36:08Speaker 1: says she signed, but now her lawyer has sent a
- 36:10Speaker 1: letter to the President's attorney making an offer to get
- 36:12Speaker 1: Daniels out of the agreement. Trump continues to deny he
- 36:15Speaker 1: had an affair. Students all over the country, by the way,
- 36:17Speaker 1: planned to leave school for seventeen minutes tomorrow, one month
- 36:20Speaker 1: anniversary of the Parkland, Florida shooting. It will be seventeen
- 36:23Speaker 1: minutes for the seventeen students and faculty killed on Valentine's Day.
- 36:27Speaker 1: Voters going to the polls today in Pennsylvania, a closely
- 36:30Speaker 1: watched race for US House seat. Democrats and Republicans had
- 36:33Speaker 1: poured millions into Donald's into the eighteen congressional district race.
- 36:36Speaker 1: And today is National ear Muff Day and National Donald
- 36:40Speaker 1: Duck Day. Oh, Donaldale, not in the snow. Well, we'll
- 36:47Speaker 1: be back with more entertainer. It's an entertainment at today's
- 36:50Speaker 1: trending topics as well. Turnaments after the hour on a
- 36:52Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 36:56Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, So we gotta ask, as we
- 36:59Speaker 1: always do. It seems like every day or every other day,
- 37:03Speaker 1: what is wrong with our president, President Trump, the President
- 37:06Speaker 1: of the United States called Congressman Maxine Waters a very
- 37:10Speaker 1: low i Q individual, And you know what, that's some
- 37:14Speaker 1: utmost disrespect. He doesn't I'm telling you, man, he's just
- 37:19Speaker 1: non presidential because she disagrees with him, doesn't like his policies,
- 37:26Speaker 1: and really best quite honestly, just doesn't like him as
- 37:29Speaker 1: a person. And it's wait, one of the brightest women,
- 37:36Speaker 1: absolutely low i Q. Just take the test at the
- 37:41Speaker 1: same time we get the resilves. Watch who finished first.
- 37:51Speaker 1: Trump started the exchange at Pennsylvania rally. He was there
- 37:54Speaker 1: on Saturday night for a Republican House candidate Rick Cone.
- 37:58Speaker 1: Take a listen to this. Please, we have to defeat
- 38:02Speaker 1: Nancy Pelosi. And Maxine Water is a very low i
- 38:13Speaker 1: Q individual. Never see it? Have you ever seen and
- 38:18Speaker 1: you ever see it. We will impeach him. We will
- 38:22Speaker 1: impeach the press. But he hasn't done anything wrong. It
- 38:26Speaker 1: doesn't matter. We will impeach him. She's a low i
- 38:29Speaker 1: Q individual. You can't help him, she really will. We
- 38:33Speaker 1: will impeach him. But you have Maxine Waters, and you
- 38:37Speaker 1: have plenty of others, and I mean Nancy Pelosi, you
- 38:43Speaker 1: can't have that. You know what amazes me at the
- 38:48Speaker 1: Trump rallies. I was watching the one he did in
- 38:50Speaker 1: Pennsylvania one year, and like, when he makes these statements,
- 38:54Speaker 1: they have these people that they positioned behind him because
- 38:58Speaker 1: they try to show a mix of all from people,
- 39:00Speaker 1: so they're very consciously placed people there. They do it
- 39:03Speaker 1: at everybody, do it for Hillary, they do it for everybody.
- 39:06Speaker 1: That's common practice. But they but they find the one
- 39:09Speaker 1: black person that they can. They found this black lady
- 39:13Speaker 1: with this big black feathery church hat on and stuck
- 39:17Speaker 1: over there. If this woman did not look so out
- 39:20Speaker 1: of place, so she didn't know when the cloud, she
- 39:25Speaker 1: didn't know what to happen, She didn't know. Nobody acted rally.
- 39:28Speaker 1: They just set her up there. But I watched the
- 39:31Speaker 1: three teenage kids behind Trump everything he said. Their reaction
- 39:39Speaker 1: was whoa. And I mean he was saying stuff that
- 39:44Speaker 1: really it's there's no way you could share that hard
- 39:50Speaker 1: for some of the statements, but that was their job
- 39:53Speaker 1: and their place there to do that. And whenever he
- 39:56Speaker 1: wants to feel good about himself, he goes to one
- 39:59Speaker 1: of his and they cheer for him and he just
- 40:02Speaker 1: talks to him. All right, listen, coming up at thirty
- 40:05Speaker 1: four after the hour, the guys are here with comedy roulette.
- 40:09Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 40:13Speaker 1: it's time for comedy roulette. Please, Jay, do us the honest,
- 40:16Speaker 1: gonna explain we are just good on the show. Give
- 40:22Speaker 1: us five subjects. Put them on the wheel, spun the wheel,
- 40:27Speaker 1: which stop, We will do the damn thing. Here come
- 40:31Speaker 1: championship team. All right, here we go. Number one, How
- 40:35Speaker 1: come they don't know when it's time to go home? Okay, Jay,
- 40:39Speaker 1: this one's for you. I know. Can can a brother
- 40:42Speaker 1: be with a white woman without all of these looks?
- 40:46Speaker 1: That's for you. J Okay. Number three, trust me, dude,
- 40:51Speaker 1: them long suits, they are not coming back in style. Okay,
- 40:57Speaker 1: we see him at the show all the time. No.
- 41:00Speaker 1: Number four, you don't remember because you got knocked out.
- 41:07Speaker 1: Number five, big buff dude, you know the big ones
- 41:10Speaker 1: with this little bitty little dogies. Yeah, all right, let's spend.
- 41:19Speaker 1: Let's go on. They don't know when you lad at home.
- 41:26Speaker 1: Let's do okay, Number one, Oh, here we we Number four,
- 41:30Speaker 1: you don't remember because you got knocked out. You don't
- 41:34Speaker 1: remember because you was knocked out. And here's how I
- 41:37Speaker 1: know you was knocked out when you wake up and
- 41:39Speaker 1: you got a hospital robe on, and your clothes is
- 41:42Speaker 1: folded on the other side. They got your stuff folded
- 41:50Speaker 1: up over there. You was knocked out, dude, that's why
- 41:53Speaker 1: you don't remember. You're gonna be there. Yeah, she had
- 42:01Speaker 1: been telling me. My mom had been telling me, picked
- 42:03Speaker 1: them hangers about. I don't really know how I got
- 42:09Speaker 1: in the hospital, but I think it was because I
- 42:11Speaker 1: knocked out. I gonna tell you them gonna picked them
- 42:14Speaker 1: damn hangars up right, we're playing comedy Roulette. It stopped,
- 42:21Speaker 1: and you don't remember because you got knocked out. In nephew,
- 42:25Speaker 1: we left the house party and went to Chiless afterwards.
- 42:30Speaker 1: You was in the car, but you don't remember that
- 42:33Speaker 1: because you got knocked out. Yeah, you got it at
- 42:40Speaker 1: the house part, all right, You don't remember because you
- 42:48Speaker 1: got knocked out. You in church. It's four thirty eight

- 43:34Speaker 1: Tommy stole j what what you don't remember because you
- 43:42Speaker 1: was knocked out. You said to the short white guy,
- 43:46Speaker 1: bring it. You said to him, damn it. You said,
- 43:50Speaker 1: damn it, bring it. He brought it. Yeah, you don't
- 43:58Speaker 1: remember what you said. Well, Da didn't bring it, all right,
- 44:02Speaker 1: Steve closed it out for us. You unconscious at the circus.
- 44:12Speaker 1: You know they're taking the tent down and everything. Uh huh.
- 44:16Speaker 1: You don't know what happened because you told the midgets,
- 44:21Speaker 1: ain't a midget note whacking with me, fatty, I'm clammed
- 44:27Speaker 1: out of a vose wagon. You didn't know that man

- 45:02Speaker 1: me it's a prank phone call coming up. You're listening
- 45:04Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top
- 45:08Speaker 1: of the hour. Right about four minutes after, it's today's
- 45:11Speaker 1: Strawberry letter. But up next it is the nephew with
- 45:15Speaker 1: today's prank phone call. What you got now? Right here?

- 50:01Speaker 1: your supervisor name. That was okay, and you don't need
- 50:05Speaker 1: to worry who the supervisor is. You need to make
- 50:07Speaker 1: sure that there's no more sex going on until your
- 50:10Speaker 1: back is healed. Look, you don't have to cut you
- 50:13Speaker 1: out and hang up for you. Man. I don't have
- 50:16Speaker 1: time for this, man, y'all because y'all tell what y'all do,

- 50:36Speaker 1: and I ain't trying to be disrespectful, but you got
- 50:39Speaker 1: me heated right now, man, that not be no cameras

- 50:52Speaker 1: I tell you one day that you think you're giving

- 51:01Speaker 1: never pay uh pay me no more. You're gonna pay
- 51:04Speaker 1: me one big check that I'm shooting out of y'all.

- 51:18Speaker 1: No more telling you because this ridiculous. Okay? Are you

- 51:48Speaker 1: me going out? Man, y'all have me heed it. But
- 51:51Speaker 1: I'm gonna well, I'm gonna kicking, not you calling that
- 51:54Speaker 1: he on the phone. No, he ain't on the phone. Man,
- 51:58Speaker 1: I'm sweating like a so I'm still I'm still getting
- 52:01Speaker 1: my damn checked that. That's what that beans. Y'all hare
- 52:03Speaker 1: be heated? Boy, I thought, what's up? Man? Nice and
- 52:08Speaker 1: here from y'all. Man, y'all got me though, Man, y'all
- 52:11Speaker 1: got me. I got one more question, man, what is
- 52:14Speaker 1: the baddest and I mean the baddest radio show in
- 52:17Speaker 1: the land, of course, no doubt, man, if the Steve
- 52:21Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show always will be especially y'all don't got
- 52:25Speaker 1: me like this here I did that? Yeah you did that?
- 52:32Speaker 1: What Wow? Taking a man's money away. It's pranking. It's
- 52:40Speaker 1: it's gangster pranking, is what it is. I want to
- 52:41Speaker 1: be there when it happened. I want to see it.
- 52:43Speaker 1: If I'm somewhere getting my butt whoop. And you ain't
- 52:49Speaker 1: happy you are you are no longer on the championship
- 52:53Speaker 1: team from ain't gonna be on the side giving instruction.
- 52:56Speaker 1: Step back to step back, use your right, working, working,
- 53:03Speaker 1: stay off the ropes, working not to play by play
- 53:08Speaker 1: Jack Tuckles Comedy Club, Mars through the twenty fifth Friday
- 53:12Speaker 1: through Sunday. The Nephew coming to town to be that
- 53:15Speaker 1: dog grown food that you know he is March three

- 53:22Speaker 1: am on my way. It's sick about the ticket already. Yes,
- 53:27Speaker 1: he's funny, Prescott, love him Prescott. Prescotts says he can't eat.
- 53:40Speaker 1: He can't eat spicy food. No, when you eat the
- 53:42Speaker 1: tick Away and he's just gone on and sit on
- 53:44Speaker 1: the tarlet when he eat, Prescott really, so you're gonna
- 53:52Speaker 1: be down there laying in the cut. Is Lexington, Kentucky,
- 53:57Speaker 1: April fifth, six, and seventh, Comedy All Broadway. Back out
- 54:02Speaker 1: there on the comedy al right, well, thank you nephew
- 54:07Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour. The Strawberry Letter.
- 54:10Speaker 1: Get ready, Steve, you're listening to the Steve Show. Well recently, guys,
- 54:16Speaker 1: the l a Lakers beat the Cleveland Cavalier. Steve seems
- 54:20Speaker 1: like Lebron scores more points when certain celebrities show up
- 54:24Speaker 1: at his games to watch him play. Uh huh, he's
- 54:28Speaker 1: at Uh, he's at his best when Diddy's in the crowd,
- 54:34Speaker 1: because when did he's there, he averages about thirty two
- 54:37Speaker 1: point seven points. In front of Beyonce and jay Z,
- 54:41Speaker 1: he gets about thirty one point seven points per game.
- 54:45Speaker 1: And when Rihanna Drake and Jack Nicholson are there, he's
- 54:49Speaker 1: rocking about thirty and a half point average. Okay, not bad.
- 54:53Speaker 1: So Steve, what do you think Cleveland? Uh is going
- 54:57Speaker 1: all the way? What do you think is Cleveland going
- 54:59Speaker 1: all the way? We all right, you know we're gonna
- 55:03Speaker 1: come out to East. We got Lebron. We we're gonna
- 55:05Speaker 1: find a way to come out to East. We got
- 55:07Speaker 1: some injuries right now. But the New Boys, they got
- 55:10Speaker 1: his real athletic and they're playing good together. So I'm
- 55:13Speaker 1: not That's not a concern of mine. The West will
- 55:17Speaker 1: get challenged this year by the Houston Rockets. Yeah, make
- 55:21Speaker 1: no mistakes. They will get challenged by the Houston Rockets.
- 55:26Speaker 1: It will not be stand Antonio this year. It will
- 55:29Speaker 1: not be Oklahoma City. The challenge will be coming from
- 55:33Speaker 1: them damn Rockets. And if Chris Paul stayed healthy, they
- 55:37Speaker 1: got a chance they beast um. If Golden State is
- 55:41Speaker 1: healthy no one can be Golden State. If they're healthy
- 55:46Speaker 1: and they play in their game, they can't best Houston.
- 55:50Speaker 1: Gonna get him a run, Steph Cary if he healthy,
- 55:53Speaker 1: though it's gonna be close. They're gonna lose some games
- 55:56Speaker 1: to Houston. There will be no sweeping, but Houston is
- 55:59Speaker 1: in their back right. Go to State and this one.
- 56:01Speaker 1: I just want to talk about this though I do
- 56:03Speaker 1: know this. Go ahead, let me hear you. Golden State
- 56:06Speaker 1: shoot threes that take your heart out. It's absolutely the more.
- 56:16Speaker 1: Absolutely you've done everything. Now I want to say something though,
- 56:21Speaker 1: what what just changed or something? I want to talk
- 56:25Speaker 1: about the Cleveland Brown, the Rue Bad football game in
- 56:31Speaker 1: two years. I want to make the announcement that some
- 56:34Speaker 1: changes have occurred. We have given up some of these
- 56:37Speaker 1: draft picks. We have now gotten the boy. And I
- 56:40Speaker 1: told him on celebrity family Feud, the quarterback for the Bills,
- 56:46Speaker 1: Tyrod Taylor. I told him on family Feud, I said, man,
- 56:50Speaker 1: you ought to come to the Brown. It's man, I
- 56:53Speaker 1: you know I play what You're gonna come to the Brown.
- 56:56Speaker 1: We got Tyrod Taylor, who has to can best quarterback
- 57:01Speaker 1: efficiency rating in all of football. We got him as
- 57:05Speaker 1: the quarterback, we had to give up a couple of picks.
- 57:08Speaker 1: We also got the start in cornerback from the Green
- 57:11Speaker 1: Bay Packers. We gave up a couple of picks for
- 57:14Speaker 1: that because we still got the top four picks in
- 57:17Speaker 1: the first sixty five. So now we now we got
- 57:19Speaker 1: the number one pick. I think we should pick Kwan
- 57:24Speaker 1: Barkley out of Penn State at number one, and then
- 57:27Speaker 1: whatever quarterback left at fourth. We could take a quarterback,
- 57:30Speaker 1: but I think we're gonna be fine with Tyrod. So
- 57:33Speaker 1: what I think we want to do is get that
- 57:35Speaker 1: boy out of Alabama to play quarterback, or get that
- 57:38Speaker 1: other defensive end and put him next to Miles and
- 57:41Speaker 1: in this thing, the Browns will be competitive next year
- 57:45Speaker 1: and we're gonna step all over Houston. I'm making that
- 57:48Speaker 1: predict more games in Houston. We'll hold up to Sean.
- 57:59Speaker 1: But it up subject subject pregnant, single and raising a
- 58:10Speaker 1: thirteen year old boy. Good morning to all, Steve. I
- 58:14Speaker 1: have been waiting for the chance to speak to you
- 58:16Speaker 1: and Shirley, or have you speaken to my life. I'm
- 58:19Speaker 1: a single parent of a thirteen year old boy. My
- 58:22Speaker 1: son is very intelligent, a straight a student. My concern
- 58:26Speaker 1: with my son is that I feel he lacks common sense.
- 58:29Speaker 1: It is very frustrating. I try the best way I
- 58:32Speaker 1: know how to help him in this area of his life,
- 58:35Speaker 1: but it seems as if I've made it worse. How
- 58:37Speaker 1: do you teach a child common sense? We really need
- 58:40Speaker 1: your help. Because of the situation, we have limited conversation.
- 58:44Speaker 1: He is scared to talk to me. I know it's
- 58:47Speaker 1: because I made him feel like that, But what am
- 58:49Speaker 1: I supposed to do? I just want to know when
- 58:53Speaker 1: he is out in the world he can and will
- 58:57Speaker 1: make the best decisions on his own. Feel so bad
- 59:00Speaker 1: to the point that I cry and ask God to
- 59:03Speaker 1: help me. I don't see what I am doing wrong,
- 59:05Speaker 1: but it's obvious that I am doing something wrong. For
- 59:08Speaker 1: the record, let me just put it out there. It's
- 59:11Speaker 1: not the pregnancy. He has been like this before I
- 59:14Speaker 1: even thought of having another baby. Here are a few
- 59:17Speaker 1: examples of his behavior. Keep in mind he is thirteen.
- 59:20Speaker 1: Number one, I have to remind him to eat. If
- 59:23Speaker 1: you don't ask him, he won't get up and feed himself.
- 59:26Speaker 1: Number two, I have to remind him to Bathe days
- 59:31Speaker 1: go by and he won't think on his own to
- 59:34Speaker 1: take a shower. Sometimes I won't say anything, just to
- 59:38Speaker 1: see how long it would take for him to take
- 59:40Speaker 1: a shower on his own. Number Three, all he wants
- 59:43Speaker 1: to do in the houses lay around. I mean he
- 59:46Speaker 1: balls his whole body up and we'll just lay there.
- 59:50Speaker 1: I mean, he balls his whole body up and we'll
- 59:52Speaker 1: just lay there. Even when we go out, he would
- 59:55Speaker 1: lay his head on a table or ball his legs
- 59:57Speaker 1: up in a chair. I don't understand. I used to
- 59:59Speaker 1: be light with my words, but lately I have been
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: hard on him because I can't take it anymore. Number Four,
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: he will not groom himself. I am the complete opposite,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: So I don't know where he gets this from. I
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: tell him how to groom as a man, but I
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: can't show him like. He can't stay in the room
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: with me when I'm getting dressed anyway, He can't do
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: everything I do. He's a boy. Our communication is fading
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: because he feels scared to talk to me. Please help us, Steve.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: I am open to any suggestions to develop a healthy
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: relationship with my son. I have to be honest with
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: you and the public. I feel I am to blame
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: for this situation escalating because now it's hard for me
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: to talk to him with already being without already being frustrated.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: What approach should I take with him? He asked, No,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: he does not have a male role model in his life,
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: not even the guy I am pregnant by. That is
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: a whole another letter. Sincerely, frustrated Mom. Dear frustrated mom.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: You know, and I'll go through my answer quickly. UM,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: as a mom, you know, I do feel your pain
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: because parenting, uh is the hardest job in the world.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: I can say the good news is that he has
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: straight a's. You know. That's a start. UM, But I
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: agree with you. You need book sense and you need
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: common sense. And after that, I say, he needs what
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: you say he doesn't have in his life, and that's
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: a father or some sort of male role model, you know.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: And I really wish that men and fathers would get
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: and and realize how important it is that. UM. You know,
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: they are involved in the development of their child. And Steve,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: I know that. UM, you know you do this all
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: the time, your mentor you know, this is what we
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: talk about a lot on the show. And she really
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: wants to hear from you. You have sons, so you
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: know twelve after when you come back. Okay, we'll be back.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steven Show. All right, Come on, Steve,
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: let's get to it. Part two of your response to
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: today's Strawberry letter. I think I have something right up
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: here reality. Steve already know a deal on this right. Pregnant,
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: single and raising the thirteen year old boy. Good morning
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: to all, Steve. I've been waiting for the chance to
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: speak to you in Shirley or have you speaking to
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: my life. I'm a single parent of a thirteen year
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: old boy. My son is very intelligent or straight a student.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: My concern with my son is that I feel that
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: he lacks common sense. It's very frustrated. I tried the
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: best way I know how to help him in this
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: area of his life, but it seems as it's as
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: if I've made it worse. How do you teach a
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: child common sense? We really need your help because of
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: the situation, we have limited conversation. He's scared to talk
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: to me. I know it's because I made him feel
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: like that, But what am I supposed to do? I
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: just wanted don't know when he's when he's out in
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: the world, that he will make the best decisions on
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: its own. I feel so bad to the point that
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: I cry and ask God to help me. I don't
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: see what I am doing wrong, but it's obviously I'm
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: doing something wrong. For the record, let me put it out.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: There's not the pregnancy. He has been like this before
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: I even thought of having another baby. Here are a
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: few examples of his behavior. Keep in mind, here is thirteen.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: Number one, I have to remind him to eat it.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: You don't wanna ask him. He won't get up and
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: feed himself. Number two, I have to remind him to
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: bathe days go by and he won't think on his
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: own to take a shower. Sometimes I won't say anything
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: to see how long it would take him to take
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: a shower on his own. Number Three. All he wants
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: to do in the houses lay around, how many balls
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: his whole body up and we'll just lay there, even
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: when we go out, when he would just lay his
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: head on the table and ball his legs up in
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: a chair, I don't understand. I used to be light
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: with my words, but lastly I have our guests Lately.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: I don't know what I've been hard on him, because
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: I can't take it anymore. He will not groom himself.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: I am the complete opposite, So I don't know where
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: he gets this from. I tell him how to groom
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: as a man, but I can't show him like He
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: can't stay in the room with me when I'm getting
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: dressed anyway, he can't do everything I do. He is
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: a boy. Our communication is fading because he feels scared
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: to talk to me. Please help us, Steve, I'm open
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: to any suggestive developer help relationship with my son. I
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: have to be honest with you in the public. I
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: feel that I'm to blame for this situation because of
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: how it's hard for me to talk to him without
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: already being frustrated. What approach would I take with him? PS? No,
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: he does not have a man role model in his life,
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: not even the guy I'm pregnant by. That's a whole
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: another letter. Sincerely, frustrated Mom. Well, frustrated mom. Uh, you
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: have every right to be frustrated. You have a lot
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: to do with this. But I want to tell you something.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: The examples you're using as a boy, I just want
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: you to understand. So here are a few examples of
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: him be his behavior. You say that your son doesn't
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: have common sense. I have to remind him to eat.
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: If you don't ask him, he won't get up to
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: feed himself. Slow down a little bit. When your son
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: is watching TV or playing, do you know I have
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: to stop. All of my kids have always said have
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: you eaten anything yet? Because once they get involved with
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: that TV, on that computer, in them games, having fun.
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: You got to remind your child to eat all the time.
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: You're not the only one that's having to do that.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: But hear me, trust me on this one. When he
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: gets hungry, he gonna go get something to eat. When
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: your child gets hungry, he will go and get something.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: To the moment, he's not any longer preoccupied. So no
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: that that's happening in every household across the country, or
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: you have the other experience. You gotta tell these some
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: of these kids to quit eating because all they're doing
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: is he okay, So I don't know if that's so bad.
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: Number one. Number two, I have to remind him to
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: Bathe days go by and he won't think on his
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: own to take a shower. Sometimes I won't say anything.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: See how long will take him to take a shower?
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: You have a boy, You have a boy. Majority of
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: the boys have to be reminded to take a shower
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: until they get up. Around sixteen, they might start getting
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: in there on their own because they're on them girls dead.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: But at thirteen, the girls ain't really clicked in yet.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: He filthy, and he ain't got no problem being filthy.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: Their funk is only bothering you. It's on your nerves
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: that he won't just get up in there and gonna
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: take a shower. My mama had to almost beat me
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: to get me to go in there and take a bath. Man,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: I was a boy in every sense of the world.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: I reveled in the dirt, and the more dirt, the
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: cooler I was. Man, I had dirt in my pockets.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: I bought dirt inside in my pocket to play within
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: my room with dirt. You know, we didn't have know
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: video games back then. You had to go outside to
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: have a good time. When I was a kid, that
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: was no video games, no computers, no inn and I
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: couldn't email nobody. I couldn't even talk on my damn phone.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: Your phone is for me and your dad CAS's job call.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: So what was I doing? I was outside playing in
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: the dirt, all right, Steve, we gotta get out of here.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: Email us or Instagram us your thoughts on today's Strawberry

- 1:07:08Speaker 1: That includes Facebook, that includes Twitter, that includes that includes
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: Instagram and even tender. Why are you say? Why are
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: they quitting? Most respondents said that they were quitting because
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: they felt it was a waste of time and social
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: media was making them think negatively. Wow. Wow, how insightful. Yeah,
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: the millennials. What do you think about social media? Steve?
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: I know you have an opinion here. The only reason
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: I'm doing it is called they told me I have
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: to by they you mean, you know, people that pay me. Yeah,
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: I don't. I don't really care for social media. I don't.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: I don't like it, I mean at all, I mean
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: I do it. I got followers almost four million on Instagram,
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: and but you know, I don't like it because haters
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: that troll the internet. I don't care what you put up.
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: They got something negative to say about it. Dog. I
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: posted a picture of my grandson walking with me to
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: the set and he was running. I thought it was
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: a durable Somebody said, is that your real grandson? Hold up?

- 1:09:19Speaker 1: in the car with somebody and they got the ready
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: on playing some music you can't stand. But you can't
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: say nothing because it ain't your car. Man, you can

- 1:12:05Speaker 1: about a white boy name came right now. You're coming
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: out of basketball. Ain't the white boy ever been in

- 1:16:15Speaker 1: starting foundation of Bad Boy Entertainment, has died at the

- 1:19:41Speaker 1: make your sweat getting hudder than the sun. Get break
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: mackets the flame that dumps from here to to that.
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: I break all rules with my action that the Max
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: in to EMC stopped relaxing the brand new sheriff that's
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: some time getting down, leaving bodies buried in the ground.
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: I set up ROMs for a league going down the flavor. Yeah,
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: I'm kicking flavor flavor I'd favor ye. Okay, Well, we
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: all know the Northeast is getting another heavy snow storm.
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: They've already had what too, now they're they're they're bracing
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: for another one. Yeah, we know you all are so
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: sick of winter, You're so sick of all the snow.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: But hang in there. Spring is almost here. That means
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: it's time once again for that life chore that is
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: called spring cleaning. We all do it. We all do
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: it once. You know what you're trying to accomplish. Start
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: by taking everything out of your closet and group it
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: all together by category, right, Steve, Is that how you
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: do it? Yeah? Yeah, you got. I don't. I don't
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: do it that way. It's just a real simple flip
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: for me. You know, I go winter and spring. It's
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: been a little bit easier for me because I live
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: out in l A. Now. Oh yeah, so you ain't
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: really got to flip. I can't even really well. Too
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: much winter stuff, you know, jackets and stuff like that beautiful.
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: You know, do you throw away, Steve or giveaway? Giveaway?
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: I never, Oh no, I never throw away giveaway. Oh yeah,

- 1:21:56Speaker 1: You got everybody on the list. Well you're what side
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: shoe you wear? What's that? You don't make it work?
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: If I got to kind of toe, I'm gonna make
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: it work. No, I don't think. I think we were
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: like eleven thirteen. Yeah, okay, you can wear some Oh okay,
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: I just give him away. We'll we'll wear some of
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: my stuff. But ain't none of my stuff raggedy because
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: I don't. I don't wear nothing that looked like it's
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: been woke. No, I don't have like pants, ain't shining sweaters?
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: I don't. I don't. Yeah, hoops and no, I don't
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: got none of that. Dog you bet not hang my
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: sweater up on the hoop. You let me tell you
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: something like your job. Most of them it's not sideways
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: when they had the cree go to the side. All
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: my pants are on clips and on the waist, so
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: they hang straight. Because when I get dressed, I if
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: you want to go get dressed. I don't want to
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: code a print in my right right. We'll be back
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to the Uh you guys.
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: Nick Gordon was arrested for domestic incident over the weekend.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: The man found legally responsible. In case that name sounds
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: vaguely familiar to you, he was the man found legally
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: responsible for the death of the daughter of Whitten Houston
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: and Bobby Brown. Uh. He's now in trouble, big trouble
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: in Florida. This was a man that was found responsible
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: for Bobby Christina's death. Yeah, and he's her former boyfriend.
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: He was arrested on Saturday at a home in Seminole
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: County for domestic violence. This involves his living girlfriend, the
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: one he has now. Deputy say the woman told them
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: that Nick Gordon could hurt I'm confused. Okay, okay, Well,
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: Nick Gordon has been accused or was he charged and
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: found guilty? Accused civil suits being responsible for Bobby China
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: Christina's death. Uh he got a new girlfriend, yeah, living
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: Uh huh okay what k read? Oh? In other words,
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: how do yeah? I know what you mean? Just like
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: just like O J. Had a girlfriend after the fact,
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: you know, I mean he had a girlfriend. Um, okay,
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: well anyway, um. Nick Gordon was arrested Saturday at his
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: home for domestic violence involving his live in girlfriend. Deputy
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: say the woman told them that Gordon hit her in
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: the face several times, which left her with a swollen lip.
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: While she refused to press charges, Deputies arrested Gordon based
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: on her statement and the physical evidence. I wonder why
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: she refused to press charges. Oh, you ain't got the
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: personal charge because they'll get you. Ain't got the personal charges.
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: But once you make a call like that, it's not
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: your head. Your prosecutor can bring the case. Yeah, that's
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: been arrested before. You shouldn't do nothing. If he's on probation,
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: it ain't nothing he can do. The prosecutor to pick
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: them charges up. There's it. If you violate probation, you
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: can just go sit down. Up to a year. Now
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: he's already responsible, um for for Bobby Christina's death. Now
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: you're doing this. You're doing this again to someone? Yeah,
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: I hope not. Oh my gosh. Yeah, okay, we'll turn
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: to some brighter news now, Yeah, Carlo, you say, jay
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: Z and Beyonce you get up again for two. Yeah.
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: They are going on the road. They announced it yesterday,
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: the tour part two. Yeah yeah. And they have to charge.
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it's the only way you can put on
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: the show. Well, they have to, they have to, they
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: have to what Steve Well, they have to charge because
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: this new generation steals the music. So the only way
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: to make money now you have to tour. They're probably
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: two of the top touring acts right now. Only people
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: are thinking Rihanna. If she goes, she'll make big bait. Drake,
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: he can go. Bruno is mopping him. Yeah yeah, J
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: and B. They'll start there tour July in Cleveland. I
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: love that love. Why don't You lie twenty five. I
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: won't be in the States caring about who touring I
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: talking about. Man, don't care if you got Bruno mars Alright,
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: we'll be back right after this. You're listening to the

- 1:28:02Speaker 1: But A look good. A baile ain't going nowhere. They
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: look good, though, You're all right about that. They got
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: a good squad. They're gonna get that little bracket a
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: little breeze. But I don't know if they can get
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: all the way. It's gonna be a you know, it's
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: always gonna be a Cinderella. Yeah, you know. I don't know,
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: but I gotta see a game or two. I gotta

- 1:28:32Speaker 1: What's that school? No? Not billing nova? And I'm gonna
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: tell you a minute me. Yeah, I got I gotta
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: ask a question just to get incompass. I don't really
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: know what about the team with all them white guys
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: on there. Yeah, that's hem HEMI let me tell you something.
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: I watched the basketball game between St. Mary's and B
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: y U. H St Mary's and B y U. I
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: looked on the floor and it was ten white dudes,
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: and it was so strange to see a televised basketball
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: game with ten white guys on the floor. It just
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: looked strange. Oh they was hooping. Oh them boys was bawling. Man.
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: But it was just strange to look out there and
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: see ten white guys on the floor. I thought something
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: had happened. I didn't know what it was, no serious
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: like I was flipping through and I hit the channel.
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: I went, what happened? And I looked on the bench.
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: Some suspensions come out. What happened? What is the brothers
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: sitting out this game? Are they kneeling? I thought, I
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: thought something that happened. So I watched about five six minutes.
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: And then they bought this big tall brother in from
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: B y U. And if it wasn't for his hat,
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: I wouldn't have knew that. But I said, okay, that
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: go abroad. Then saw a couple more come out there. Later.
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: I thought the brother say yeah, I thought we was
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: protesting something. I need to know because I gotta tell everybody. Hey,
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: man Brauns from St. Mary's and b why you set out? Hey,
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: we're speaking of brothers. What what about Tiger Woods back
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: he was looking good at one game? What he did? No, No,
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: a couple of tournaments. He must be back on the
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: away for you boy. White women to get wait wait wait,
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: white women to get your game back together? Women, dad,
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: your game come up? And why do you say that day?
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: Because he's crazy to get your game bag getting the women?
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: Somebody somebody telling him that your game an they'll be ready.
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: No like that a women, You're right all right. We
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: will be back with our last break of the day,
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: Steve Harvey's closing remarks. You're listening to the Steve al
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: right here we are last break of the day. You
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: know what time it is. It is time for Steve's
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: very insightful closing remarks. They are back. Uh you know today.
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: I want to just this is real simple. This is
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: probably gonna be my most my most just grassroots attack
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: of a situation that I've ever used because I'm not
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: gonna put it into story form. I'm not gonna put
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: it into centers form. I'm gonna just let you pick
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: how you want to look at it. Um. Procrastination. It's
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: one of the big killers of the dream. Procrastination is
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: one of the great killers of the goal. Procrastination it's
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: one of the great killers of success as because you
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: never ever start, you cannot a sure failure. More so
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: than by not starting. Procrastination, everybody won't it. Wanna pick
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: the perfect time to start. I want to make sure
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: all the dux is lined up in a row. I
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: want to make sure, man, that everybody is in order.
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: You got it all laid out before you start. You're
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: never gonna start, You're never gonna win, You're never gonna
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: be successful. Here's a list of words that's meant to
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: encourage you so you can stop procrastinating. Attack. If you
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: want to succeed, you have to attack. Kill it. You
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: gotta go after it out there. You got to kill it.
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: You got to be about it. Man. Here's another one.
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: Get at it. Pick whichever one of these floats your boat.
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: Get at it. I'm trying to get you all to
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: stop procrastinating. Now is the time. Don't delay, get at it,
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: kill it, attack, knock it out to part knock it
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: out the park. Let's go. Let's go, man, let's go.
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: Come on now, just come on now, what you're waiting on?
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: What you're waiting on? Man? Stop tripping, because when you trip,
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: you cause yourself to delay. You tripping, Stop tripping what
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: you're waiting for? Get at it? Attack, kill it, don't delay.
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: Knock it out the park. What you're waiting for? Stop tripping.
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: Come on now, let's go attack, get at it. Pick
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: any one of them you want, but stop procrastinate. The
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: best time is right now. Started today. You're tripping. Man,
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: you trip it, you can't. It won't come to you
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: unless you go get it. It's not gonna happen unless
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: you get with it. It's it's nothing is gonna happen
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: unless you started. Please do not tie your success to
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: somebody else showing up. Oh man, because suppose they procrastinate,
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: suppose they have still, suppose something happening. The suppose they
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: give you that unacceptable excuse. Because excuses are only good
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: for the person that provides it does you no good,
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: So why would you give them to yourself? What is
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: your reason for not going after what it is you
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: want to go for today? What's stopping you from starting
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: the process today. Oh oh, you don't have all your
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: ducks lined up in the road. You don't see how
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: you can get to the finished labe, you have them
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: figured out each and every step. So you think that
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: you can sit there and map out success from start
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: to finish and it will happen. I have news for you.
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: You can't. You just gotta get started. Stop procrastinating, y'all,
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: Get at it, Attack it, kill it, don't delay, knock
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: it out the park. What you're waiting for? Stop tripping?
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: Come on, man, let's go do something now. That's the
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: best thing I can give you. Now. You pick whatever
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: one of those you need that floats your boat today
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: and get at it. But if you don't start today,
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: you're gonna have that same am excuse for not starting tomorrow.
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: And once you get comfortable making excuses, you become really
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: good at it. And then after a while the excuses
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: just become justification and once you can justify, oh, it's
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: all makes sense, now do it. That's the danger of procrastination.
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: It allows you to justify why you haven't done it,
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: and if you can justify it sounds a lot better,
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: don it. It's raining today. I ain't going down there
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: to day. Man, it's raining. I'm gonna start working out tomorrow.
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: I'm gonna start eating better next week. You know how
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: many times next week ain't gonna get him? How about
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: now that's my clothing remarks. That's it, all right, get
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: at it. I'm going to get that something today soon
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: as soon we get off the air. Yeah, I just
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: I talked myself into something else just right now. I'm
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: going to go get at it. Man, what you're waiting for?
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: You're tripping? Come on, you trip, take us out. She
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: picked the one you like. A Yaya, have a great weekend. Okay, Hey,
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: why White? Why put off for this weekend? You could
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: do it right now. That's right, Sharley, you just heard it.
