- 2:06Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice, come on dig me now,
- 2:10Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. I
- 2:13Speaker 1: want to share something with you this morning. In order
- 2:17Speaker 1: fun God to bless you, you have to you have
- 2:24Speaker 1: to have something you know and and and and that
- 2:28Speaker 1: means I guess, I guess what I'm saying is God
- 2:32Speaker 1: can only bless you by your faith and your effort.
- 2:36Speaker 1: That's the only way He can bless you by your
- 2:39Speaker 1: faith and your effort. Now, because of his grace, he
- 2:44Speaker 1: gives us so many things that we don't even we
- 2:48Speaker 1: don't ask for, we don't thank him for, you know,
- 2:52Speaker 1: we don't even have on the list. You know, oftentimes
- 2:55Speaker 1: you know, many of us have health. We never thank
- 2:58Speaker 1: him for it. We get an of the opportunity to
- 3:00Speaker 1: wake up the next day, we never thank him for it.
- 3:03Speaker 1: We take so many small things because of his grace,
- 3:07Speaker 1: we just take for granted, like it's just supposed to
- 3:10Speaker 1: pop off for us, just like that. Okay, including that,
- 3:16Speaker 1: what all these wonderful things he does us? And he
- 3:19Speaker 1: blesses us even far beyond our wildest dreams. I'm talking
- 3:23Speaker 1: about myself now and a lot of you listening without
- 3:28Speaker 1: us confiding or conferring in him, he still watches over us,
- 3:32Speaker 1: up watches over us. I'm talking to all of us now.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Here is what you get blessed on through your faith
- 3:41Speaker 1: and your efforts. I mean, he really gives you, give
- 3:45Speaker 1: him something to work with. This is what I'm saying.
- 3:47Speaker 1: He's gonna do certain things for us automatically because he
- 3:53Speaker 1: just loves us. He automatically does things for us that
- 3:56Speaker 1: we take so for granted that a lot of people
- 3:59Speaker 1: are not experienced since because of their time is up
- 4:01Speaker 1: or whatever. I don't know the reason, but whatever the case,
- 4:04Speaker 1: but he does so many things for us automatic. Imagine
- 4:07Speaker 1: what could happen to you if you just gave him
- 4:10Speaker 1: a little bit to work with. He ever thought about that.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Suppose this idea that's been burning on the inside of you,
- 4:22Speaker 1: suppose you just started it today. See and don't wait
- 4:27Speaker 1: to start an idea when you can figure it all
- 4:30Speaker 1: the way through, because you'll never get started, you know it.
- 4:34Speaker 1: It crippled so many people because they think of how
- 4:37Speaker 1: to start their business. Then they look all the way
- 4:39Speaker 1: down the road or the loans they're gonna need, and
- 4:42Speaker 1: they don't know nobody, and they credit bad, so they stopped.
- 4:46Speaker 1: They never start. What would happen had you ever thought
- 4:50Speaker 1: if you just started do the part of the business
- 4:54Speaker 1: that you could do, and ask God to lead you
- 4:57Speaker 1: and guide you to the next step, that that thing
- 4:59Speaker 1: called faith, to belief in things that you cannot see.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Suppose you just started out on faith, You just stepped
- 5:06Speaker 1: out the water and stepped out the boat and stood
- 5:09Speaker 1: on the water, just on faith, seeing that is rough,
- 5:13Speaker 1: but just believing that He would take care of you,
- 5:16Speaker 1: just believing that He would get you through through, just
- 5:19Speaker 1: believing that He would lead you to the next step. Start.
- 5:26Speaker 1: If you just started, man, you would then give God
- 5:30Speaker 1: something to put his finger on and to bless people.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Say to me all the time. Man, Man, Steve, it
- 5:37Speaker 1: seemed like everything you do work. Man, do you know
- 5:41Speaker 1: what it is? Really? I just lose the fear of
- 5:45Speaker 1: failing and I start I don't know how to do
- 5:48Speaker 1: all of this. Come on, man, if I could have
- 5:53Speaker 1: told you ten years ago, or there's no way I
- 5:57Speaker 1: could have told you, I'd be why I am today.
- 5:59Speaker 1: But if one had come to me and says, Stephen,
- 6:02Speaker 1: ten years you will be doing this, that, this, that
- 6:06Speaker 1: and the other. They will recognize you here. You will
- 6:09Speaker 1: get this recognition, recognition, you will get this award, and
- 6:12Speaker 1: you'll be living like this. I would have just looked
- 6:14Speaker 1: at them like they was crazy. I really would have. Man.
- 6:18Speaker 1: It's not that I didn't have the faith. It's just
- 6:21Speaker 1: that in my imagination I didn't see it. I've always
- 6:26Speaker 1: believed in God, I just didn't see things for myself. See,
- 6:31Speaker 1: I didn't open myself up to what God had for me.
- 6:35Speaker 1: I was just living my life based on what I
- 6:38Speaker 1: could see from me. When I stopped worried about what
- 6:41Speaker 1: I could see from me and started allowing God to
- 6:45Speaker 1: do what he could do for me, it changed my
- 6:48Speaker 1: whole existence because I found out that God's plan was
- 6:52Speaker 1: way better than mine. But you got to start something.
- 6:56Speaker 1: You got to give God something to put his finger
- 6:59Speaker 1: on that might has touched where it turned into something.
- 7:04Speaker 1: You got to let your imagination go. You got to
- 7:07Speaker 1: let your imagination flies wild as it can fly without
- 7:11Speaker 1: being constricted by the confines of where you live and
- 7:15Speaker 1: what color you are, what sex you are, and how
- 7:17Speaker 1: much money you make and what your degree say. You
- 7:21Speaker 1: got to let your imagination fly beyond that. You got
- 7:24Speaker 1: to go for it. You got to step out on
- 7:27Speaker 1: faith and you got to go for it. Oh and
- 7:29Speaker 1: then I mentioned you got to pray. I don't want
- 7:32Speaker 1: to leave that out. Then you got to seek understanding. Man,
- 7:37Speaker 1: read Proverbs. Proverbs is a great book to start with.
- 7:42Speaker 1: I don't you know. I guess other people got other way.
- 7:44Speaker 1: I'm just telling you about me. Man, it's probably some
- 7:46Speaker 1: better places to start. I don't know. Proverbs was to
- 7:49Speaker 1: start for me, the book of wisdom and understanding that
- 7:53Speaker 1: helped develop my thought process, which helped me become fairly successful.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Our Verbs teaches you everything you need to know. And
- 8:02Speaker 1: if you can't read the Keen James version, get you
- 8:05Speaker 1: one of them translated Bibles. What difference it makes long
- 8:07Speaker 1: as you hear what he's saying to you. Oh and
- 8:10Speaker 1: did I mentioned? Don't forget to pray and then take
- 8:15Speaker 1: the ideal, the business, the journey you want to embark on,
- 8:20Speaker 1: and break it down inch by inch anything that sich.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Just start with the piece that you can do. Okay,
- 8:28Speaker 1: you don't know how you're gonna get the loan. When
- 8:29Speaker 1: it's time for the loan, what, Paul? Can you? Can
- 8:31Speaker 1: you design the business card? Can you? Can you get
- 8:35Speaker 1: the phone line put in? Can you can you make
- 8:38Speaker 1: a YouTube video and post it? Can you start telling
- 8:42Speaker 1: people that you're associated with this is what you do? Now?
- 8:45Speaker 1: You can start somewhere. You can get a gig somewhere
- 8:48Speaker 1: doing something. Somebody will pay you for the service right now.
- 8:54Speaker 1: And then simplify it, take it and break it down
- 8:58Speaker 1: to the lowest common denominator. We're trying to figure it
- 9:01Speaker 1: all out. Simplify what can I do? Now? That's just
- 9:05Speaker 1: like breaking it down, but simplified. Man, get it simple
- 9:08Speaker 1: for you. I can't figure this out. It's too complex,
- 9:12Speaker 1: it's too difficult, there's too many levels. Quit tripping on that.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Do the part you can do, do what you can do,
- 9:22Speaker 1: but start, Man, Just get started today. Stop delaying it.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Every time you put it off, you seem further away
- 9:30Speaker 1: from it, don't you. Why won't you start? Let your
- 9:33Speaker 1: imagination go, open it up. You know, if you can't imagine,
- 9:38Speaker 1: God show Ken Einstein said it one time. He said
- 9:43Speaker 1: that imagination is everything. It's the preview to life's coming attractions.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Oh is that crazy? Is that crazy? Do you know
- 9:53Speaker 1: that everything we do somebody imagined it? But do you
- 9:57Speaker 1: know when they imagine that? Somebody laughed at him. Man,
- 9:59Speaker 1: I'm gonna make a car that you can sit on
- 10:01Speaker 1: it and automatically driving the wheels a roll. Who's gonna
- 10:05Speaker 1: do that? Okay, here we go, we all ride and cars. Man,
- 10:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna fly. I'm gonna make something that to take
- 10:11Speaker 1: people far away in the air. People board flights every day. Man.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Somebody sat up there and looked at that moon and said, man,
- 10:20Speaker 1: one day, I'm going to the moon. He's talking about
- 10:23Speaker 1: going to the moon and take people to the moon
- 10:25Speaker 1: all the time. Imagination is everything. It's the preview to
- 10:30Speaker 1: life's coming attractions. What are you imagining for yourself? What
- 10:34Speaker 1: do you see coming? What's your coming attractions? I'm so
- 10:38Speaker 1: grateful I change man. Oh I see big because I
- 10:41Speaker 1: see God. Come on, whenevere else around me, here only
- 10:51Speaker 1: see that testimony when walks off. Now I'm why did
- 11:01Speaker 1: he see when everyone else around me? Oh? God, can
- 11:14Speaker 1: I tell you one of my fing I just need
- 11:16Speaker 1: to tell you one more favor. Listen to see he's
- 11:23Speaker 1: mine and I am he is It doesn't matter what
- 11:30Speaker 1: I did. He only sees me. But who I am?
- 11:37Speaker 1: Just anybody know that tonight? Oh? See he is mine
- 11:44Speaker 1: and I am here said, it doesn't matter what I see.
- 11:51Speaker 1: He only sees me. I can't be seeing that he is.
- 12:08Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show A two minutes
- 12:13Speaker 1: after the hour eighteen minutes after the hour. Welcome to
- 12:16Speaker 1: the rach All the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening
- 12:19Speaker 1: to the voice of Steve Harvey. Why do they call
- 12:22Speaker 1: it to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, because primarily it
- 12:26Speaker 1: comes on at six am Eastern five am Central. That
- 12:30Speaker 1: does make it morning. Why do they call it a
- 12:33Speaker 1: show because it's entertaining, Because it's filled with levity and jovial,
- 12:39Speaker 1: spirited people and people who want to get your day
- 12:42Speaker 1: off to an uplifting start so that you can get
- 12:45Speaker 1: your day rolling before you go in there and start
- 12:47Speaker 1: dealing with them people that you don't want to deal with.
- 12:50Speaker 1: That's why they call it a show. Were nothing else,
- 12:53Speaker 1: nothing more. We tried to get Hillary elected. It didn't work.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Now we're back to what we do. You scare me
- 13:02Speaker 1: so much, went up there and didn't and didn't know
- 13:05Speaker 1: and didn't campaign in Wisconsin and Michigan and and all
- 13:09Speaker 1: of them places. They lost the electoral vote until we
- 13:12Speaker 1: changed electoral colleague, fo, this all seems crazy to me.
- 13:16Speaker 1: I myself have changed my views on politics since this
- 13:18Speaker 1: one has changed. I have come up with a new party.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Oh what's that? What is I am calling it the
- 13:28Speaker 1: DEMN I reps. What does that mean? I am now
- 13:36Speaker 1: gonna be a combination of Democrat, Independent Republican the DEMN
- 13:43Speaker 1: I reps or and I repped them like? I like
- 13:50Speaker 1: that better? I'm an independent Republican Democrat from now on.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Huh Okay, morning everybody, how y'all doing? Just thought that? Well?
- 14:00Speaker 1: Good morning? Yeah? You know what, man, I have gotten
- 14:06Speaker 1: kind of sick of politics now because now I see
- 14:09Speaker 1: how it really works. Okay, the popular vote don't get
- 14:12Speaker 1: you in, it's delectorial. Then I watched him hate President
- 14:19Speaker 1: Obama for eight years now, I've watched all the Republicans
- 14:25Speaker 1: showed a love and undying support for Donald Trump, not
- 14:29Speaker 1: Ted Cruise. Supporting Donald Trump almost sickens me right there.
- 14:35Speaker 1: That it almost sickens me when I see him talk
- 14:39Speaker 1: because he swore him off because of what he said
- 14:41Speaker 1: about his daddy and his wife. Now his head can't
- 14:47Speaker 1: get up. Trump's behind no tighter, yeah this morning. Yeah,
- 14:57Speaker 1: And so I've just decided. And now the Democrats, if
- 15:02Speaker 1: you think you're gonna run over us make my day,
- 15:05Speaker 1: it's too late for that. Hm. So I've decided to
- 15:10Speaker 1: handle it differently. I will always vote and exercise my right,
- 15:14Speaker 1: but from now on I will instruct my folks to
- 15:17Speaker 1: just do whatever they want to do and go the
- 15:20Speaker 1: way that they think would be best for them. M hmm, okay,
- 15:25Speaker 1: all right, vote your conscience. In other words, yeah, whatever
- 15:30Speaker 1: that is. Because hell, because the other day the other
- 15:33Speaker 1: way ain't working. So that come together way, especially that
- 15:39Speaker 1: the way they didn't turned on me on you damn
- 15:40Speaker 1: what they do. No, no, you can't say that. It
- 15:45Speaker 1: really ain't me. So I just said that just to
- 15:47Speaker 1: be I'm gonna keep on pushing though, Yeah, do what
- 15:52Speaker 1: I gotta do. They mind people love them regardless, you know.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Like I said in the words of the Temptation, I
- 15:59Speaker 1: know you will want to leave, but I refused to
- 16:02Speaker 1: let you go. Let's sing a little bit of that.
- 16:06Speaker 1: I know you want to leave me, but I refused
- 16:11Speaker 1: to let you go. If I have to beg and
- 16:15Speaker 1: plead for your sympathy, I don't know because you mean
- 16:20Speaker 1: that much to me. Ain't too proud to beg. Don't
- 16:26Speaker 1: you go good? Leave me girl. M hmm. Now I
- 16:37Speaker 1: heard a pride man. It's I have for man with
- 16:41Speaker 1: no sense of pride. I black boy. I'm so glad
- 16:51Speaker 1: I'm black. I don't know what to do something right now.
- 16:56Speaker 1: It's just fulfilling to me. Oh yea, so well, you know,
- 17:09Speaker 1: like I like Shirley just asked me on cute. You know,
- 17:11Speaker 1: I don't it. Don't take me no time, you know,
- 17:14Speaker 1: because it's in my heart. I ain't got oh wait,
- 17:16Speaker 1: let me thank God. No. But we still have Johnny
- 17:20Speaker 1: gil and we still have Eddie lea bird. He's still singing.
- 17:22Speaker 1: I mean, we have some hard singers, but not like
- 17:26Speaker 1: we used to. Watching just right now, just asked me
- 17:31Speaker 1: to sing anything. Just ask me watch our fast I
- 17:34Speaker 1: do with y'all anything, okay, Um, turn off the lights,
- 17:38Speaker 1: turn off the light light a candle dud. I'm sexy. Men. Yeah.
- 17:58Speaker 1: We gotta go from that to my my mind real quick.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Come on, we gotta go from that to my my mind,
- 18:05Speaker 1: my mind real quick. Slip on your red twish and
- 18:10Speaker 1: slip on them. Hi, here you are, I need a
- 18:15Speaker 1: little sweet puff. You show smells good on you. My my, my, my, my,
- 18:28Speaker 1: my my my. That's almost hard. Thanks. Something that ain't
- 18:34Speaker 1: normally like a B C A b C D And
- 18:45Speaker 1: don't e oh if oh mick me up that all up?
- 18:56Speaker 1: Geez I see oh me o p Q you be
- 19:16Speaker 1: are you my? Why ze? No? Nobody that's gonna sing
- 19:44Speaker 1: along to that. I don't give a damn what they do.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Excuse me, Host of Little big Shots. We got kids
- 19:51Speaker 1: and listened to this morning show as well the Morning
- 19:55Speaker 1: Show and watch a little big Shots. I got your
- 19:57Speaker 1: covered this hard singing ab all right. When we come
- 20:01Speaker 1: back from the break at thirty four after the hour,
- 20:05Speaker 1: Tommy and Jr. Are in the building. They'll be here
- 20:07Speaker 1: with you right and wrong for something funny. We'll be
- 20:12Speaker 1: back at thirty four hours you're listening to Steve Harvey
- 20:16Speaker 1: Morning Show. Thirty four minutes after that hour, we come back.
- 20:20Speaker 1: We got some right and wrong for you. Okay, well
- 20:27Speaker 1: what is right and what is wrong? Back? What's y'all
- 20:35Speaker 1: got what's right and wrong today? Okay? You tell me
- 20:40Speaker 1: who right? Because I know I am. Ain't we aliens
- 20:44Speaker 1: on other planets? That's you did? And they want to
- 20:51Speaker 1: pick up my call after that though, Yeah, say it again, Tom,
- 20:56Speaker 1: Ain't we aliens on other planets? Well? Explain yourself please.
- 21:04Speaker 1: If we go to Mars, ain't we aliens? When we
- 21:07Speaker 1: get up there to the Mars peoples. Have you seen
- 21:11Speaker 1: some mass people? I haven't seen on Mars people, But
- 21:17Speaker 1: if they see me and I'm on their planet, I'm
- 21:20Speaker 1: the alien. See that right? Good time? When when were
- 21:25Speaker 1: you gonna see a mark? I'm just saying, we aliens
- 21:30Speaker 1: to them other people? And if we go up there, okay,
- 21:34Speaker 1: when you going? If we go to Saturn, ain't we
- 21:39Speaker 1: aliens to Saturday nights? Saturday nights are Saturn people. I
- 21:46Speaker 1: was just gonna say, be cause Saturday night I was
- 21:50Speaker 1: gonna be well, I was gonna be a Deadn't it
- 21:52Speaker 1: sad Am I right or am I wrong? It is
- 21:59Speaker 1: the question, are we not aliens the other planets? You're
- 22:05Speaker 1: gonna beat dinner? If they see they could be friendly?
- 22:13Speaker 1: Uh kill, they could be friends. I'm just saying if
- 22:16Speaker 1: we up there? When when you when you wouldn't play
- 22:20Speaker 1: golf with a Marsha, I'm not played golf with the
- 22:30Speaker 1: Marsha because now they the Marshas ain't gonna play golf
- 22:34Speaker 1: with Tommy. Tell you that right now, because they have
- 22:37Speaker 1: seen him hit the ball. If there were people on
- 22:39Speaker 1: these other planets, then you would have a point. That's
- 22:42Speaker 1: what I am saying. But they're not. But they're not
- 22:46Speaker 1: with me. No, I just wanted to be over Yeah, yeah,
- 22:50Speaker 1: there are people over there to Lord to be aliens?
- 22:57Speaker 1: Are we not aliens to other plan And if we
- 23:00Speaker 1: on another planet, ain't we the alien? So do you
- 23:04Speaker 1: think there's a life beyond Earth? Do you think? Yeah?
- 23:08Speaker 1: You ain't seeing Albatar, You ain't see them blue people people? Wow?
- 23:18Speaker 1: Do you know the difference between movies too? You know
- 23:21Speaker 1: you might be right coming. I mean, if there were
- 23:24Speaker 1: other people, he would be right. Ain't nobody sat in
- 23:28Speaker 1: just uh dreamed of Avatar? That's happening. It's some blue
- 23:32Speaker 1: people somewhere else calling and that tree that was glowing
- 23:36Speaker 1: and onto that. Oh that is real stuff. I tell
- 23:39Speaker 1: you what is real? Come on, come on, let us
- 23:43Speaker 1: have it. Give me the reality first, it's real people
- 23:47Speaker 1: buy right here. You and Cynthia husband on Atlanta Housewife. Yeah,
- 24:01Speaker 1: but the two dumbits, he said, it's like, come on,
- 24:10Speaker 1: Papa smur that you put a red at on So wow,
- 24:16Speaker 1: tom Me. So you believe that there's life beyond Earth? No,
- 24:21Speaker 1: I definitely don't. I definitely doesn't. You don't think there's
- 24:24Speaker 1: no other life? You think got the only thing? What
- 24:28Speaker 1: kind of knowledge are you basing this on the red planet? Avatar?
- 24:32Speaker 1: Carla Avatar planets, a hundred planets the size of Earth?
- 24:39Speaker 1: You think ain't no more life nowhere? Y'all crazy? Tommy,
- 24:45Speaker 1: there's a hundred planets the size of her hundred plus Yes, Google,
- 24:50Speaker 1: let I'm asking. I'm not arguing, which I'm just asking.
- 24:55Speaker 1: M You know, you know planets tim to see to
- 25:00Speaker 1: ask stupid people stuff. Make sure that what they said. Yeah,
- 25:06Speaker 1: I bet you, I bet you. We took calls on
- 25:09Speaker 1: if it's life on other planets that people believed. I
- 25:12Speaker 1: bet you. I bet this segment is going too long. Yeah,
- 25:18Speaker 1: let's all your money on that. Yeah, alright, coming up next,
- 25:22Speaker 1: just run that prank back from the alien. Uh if
- 25:28Speaker 1: I wasn't here, Marsha, Yeah, the avatar you're listening to

- 33:13Speaker 1: Morning Show. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 33:22Speaker 1: All right, here's the question. Have you ever had to
- 33:24Speaker 1: end a friendship, not a relationship, a friendship? Call us
- 33:30Speaker 1: and tell us your worst friend story and uh, what
- 33:33Speaker 1: did your so called friend do? Give us a call
- 33:35Speaker 1: at eight seven seven nine Steve eight seven seven twenty
- 33:39Speaker 1: nine Steve. Yeah, mm hmm. Hey, before we go to
- 33:45Speaker 1: the phone, she's here with today's headlines and the latest
- 33:49Speaker 1: on President Trump, which will always be some latest Oh yeah,
- 33:53Speaker 1: ready for four years the latest new Trump mess. Yeah,
- 33:58Speaker 1: I'm afraid he's gonna exhaust it self. Yeah yeah, because
- 34:02Speaker 1: he up too late tweet in the morning. Well, it
- 34:06Speaker 1: goes to vacation every weekend at mar Lago, so maybe
- 34:11Speaker 1: it's all work out, Haley tweet when you get out there. Yeah,
- 34:16Speaker 1: the taxpayers a bunch. I thought he said he was
- 34:19Speaker 1: on cutback on tweeting that. Well, yeah, well I addressed
- 34:25Speaker 1: at no more petty bickery. M he but remember he
- 34:29Speaker 1: doesn't use words like we do. He made an honor
- 34:33Speaker 1: swaz now. Yeah, he's blaming him for the demise of Yeah, yeah,
- 34:46Speaker 1: for the demise of Celebrity Apprentice. Yeah. I didn't. Honestly though,
- 34:53Speaker 1: I didn't think Arnold was a good choice for that. Yeah.
- 34:57Speaker 1: I didn't think it was baby. I didn't think it
- 34:59Speaker 1: was man. Do it now, Okay, thank you, thank you
- 35:13Speaker 1: very much. Okay, this is Andrew for the new good boarding, guys,
- 35:16Speaker 1: good boarding. President Trump has signed a new executive order
- 35:19Speaker 1: aimed at temporarily blocking both refugees and visitors from now
- 35:23Speaker 1: six instead of seven, mostly Muslim countries, Iraq was dropped
- 35:27Speaker 1: from the list. The new band only applies to future
- 35:30Speaker 1: visa applicants, which means that lawful permanent residents are exempt
- 35:34Speaker 1: and refugees from Syria are no longer banned. In definitely,
- 35:38Speaker 1: Trump's early orders were put on hold by a federal court.
- 35:40Speaker 1: You may remember, And although critics say the new version
- 35:43Speaker 1: of Trump's travel band is not really much different from
- 35:46Speaker 1: the first, Washington State Attorney General Bob Ferguson says the
- 35:49Speaker 1: White House has made some important changes. The President has
- 35:51Speaker 1: capitulated on numerous key provisions that we contested in court
- 35:56Speaker 1: about a month ago. So on those key revisions, this
- 36:00Speaker 1: is a very significant victory for the people of state
- 36:03Speaker 1: of Washington. And Ferguson says he's going to decide later
- 36:06Speaker 1: this week if he's going to challenge that new order.
- 36:07Speaker 1: House Republicans has now unveiled their plan on how they
- 36:10Speaker 1: intend to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act. It
- 36:13Speaker 1: would eliminate the requirement that all Americans obtain health care policies,
- 36:16Speaker 1: and low income Americans would be eligible for tax credits,
- 36:19Speaker 1: but there would be no longer subsidies. And here we go.
- 36:23Speaker 1: In his first Housing and Urban Development address, Secretary Ben
- 36:26Speaker 1: Carson's drawing outrage for comments that compared slavery to immigration.
- 36:30Speaker 1: What America is about a land of dreams and opportunity.
- 36:33Speaker 1: There were other immigrants who came here in the bottom
- 36:36Speaker 1: of slave ships, worked even longer, even harder, for less,
- 36:39Speaker 1: But they too had a dream that one day their sons, daughter,
- 36:43Speaker 1: his grandson's granddaughter's great grandsons might pursue prosperity and happiness
- 36:50Speaker 1: in this land. And do you know, of all the
- 36:53Speaker 1: nations in the world, the United States of America, it's
- 36:58Speaker 1: the only one big enough and great enough to allow
- 37:01Speaker 1: all those people to realize their dream. Ben we work
- 37:06Speaker 1: for nothing, were kidnapped. Hello, I'm just saying, there's so
- 37:10Speaker 1: much reaction. Whoopie Goldberg's has been watch roots. Immigrants come
- 37:14Speaker 1: here voluntarily. Can't say the same about slaves. Bernie's King,
- 37:17Speaker 1: the youngest daughter, Martin Luther King, says dangerous and her
- 37:20Speaker 1: responsible grossly to embellish that the slavery. Uh. Jamuel Jackson,
- 37:25Speaker 1: he cusses too much. I can't really read it. His remarks. Uh.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Chelsea Clinton says this can't be rio. Slaves were not
- 37:32Speaker 1: and are not immigrants able to renee their dream, not
- 37:36Speaker 1: to be kidnapped tortured, rape, force to mate, work for
- 37:39Speaker 1: another's gain, towards from family and culture. That was their dream.
- 37:42Speaker 1: And even the Anne Frank Center says we condemned remarks
- 37:45Speaker 1: of Ben Carson at slaves or immigrants. We say black
- 37:48Speaker 1: lives matter, and so should you just on the coast
- 37:53Speaker 1: of Africa. You know there's a better light on the
- 37:55Speaker 1: side of the wall. Get on that ship. We need
- 37:58Speaker 1: to just l up every and just just see by
- 38:01Speaker 1: the today I can friend. I mean, if you wanted
- 38:05Speaker 1: to say those people have fled the South, the torture
- 38:07Speaker 1: and the rape and murder and and the terrorism in
- 38:10Speaker 1: the South, that's like immigration. But this other stuff is
- 38:13Speaker 1: not well by the way, uh it is today Today
- 38:16Speaker 1: is national speak up to be Heard day. So I
- 38:17Speaker 1: guess Ben took that opportunity. And it's alsho a national
- 38:20Speaker 1: serial day. So I'll have some serial day and watch rooms,
- 38:24Speaker 1: read a book and I get back to now back
- 38:26Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey, watch thank you. Missing question. Here's the
- 38:32Speaker 1: question of the day. Have you ever had to end
- 38:35Speaker 1: a friendship call and tell us your worst friends story?
- 38:38Speaker 1: What did your friend do? How did it happen? Eight
- 38:41Speaker 1: seven seven twenty nine. Steve Let's go to line six
- 38:44Speaker 1: and talk to Ray out of New York. Yes, how
- 38:49Speaker 1: you're doing today? Hey? Ray? What's going on? What's the
- 38:51Speaker 1: worst friens? Your break up story? You got? Well? Can
- 38:56Speaker 1: I just say thank you God for everything? And I
- 38:58Speaker 1: love the pict shot show beautiful job that I was
- 39:01Speaker 1: praying for you and that um after it happened. But
- 39:04Speaker 1: as far as my friendship, we grew a part of
- 39:07Speaker 1: this known jealousy many years and you start to see
- 39:12Speaker 1: your friends doing things that you you don't long to do.
- 39:16Speaker 1: I will admit that they had to do with religion
- 39:18Speaker 1: for me, and I don't fought them. I thought myself,
- 39:20Speaker 1: I want to be the bigger woman. Let's say I fought.
- 39:23Speaker 1: I fought myself because I take response to a fault.
- 39:27Speaker 1: But I kept responsibility all the friendship as well, because
- 39:31Speaker 1: I looked the mirror and sort of things that I
- 39:33Speaker 1: didn't like that I said, I gotta go, I gotta go.
- 39:38Speaker 1: So you broke it up. So you broke off the
- 39:41Speaker 1: friendship because you looked in the mirror. Well, you know,
- 39:44Speaker 1: you look at the mirror. You see where you're going
- 39:46Speaker 1: and what you're doing, and what you say what you're doing,
- 39:49Speaker 1: you don't like and you can't throw that on somebody's
- 39:53Speaker 1: over that's them like that, like that lady's letter, she
- 39:55Speaker 1: thought my old He said he wanted her to do
- 39:59Speaker 1: a little sexual don't She don't want to do that
- 40:00Speaker 1: the more, but you married him. You have to make
- 40:02Speaker 1: a decision as a grown process, a brown woman or
- 40:05Speaker 1: a man, and say, look, I can't do that no more.
- 40:08Speaker 1: I'm not going to do that no more because listen,
- 40:11Speaker 1: you're not gonna stop me. You know, as you get
- 40:13Speaker 1: close to that top of that mountain, Like I tell people,
- 40:16Speaker 1: I don't want to go down the mountain to have
- 40:18Speaker 1: a whole bunch of baggers pulling me down. So you
- 40:21Speaker 1: have to make a decision, said, you know what, this
- 40:22Speaker 1: is not for me. You know it could be whatever relationship,
- 40:26Speaker 1: could be your family members too. You have to make
- 40:28Speaker 1: a decision that I can't handle it. I can't hang
- 40:30Speaker 1: with that no more. That's not for me. From this
- 40:36Speaker 1: phone call right here, you want me tell you what
- 40:37Speaker 1: y'all takeaway is what don't look in that mirror today
- 40:43Speaker 1: you grow apart from you all right, Ray, thank you,
- 40:48Speaker 1: thank you for the enlightenment. To Steve, I've got to
- 40:52Speaker 1: watch all you when you do these side experiences. Say
- 40:55Speaker 1: what now, I got the blood watch all you when
- 40:58Speaker 1: you do these side experisons with these kids? Oh the
- 41:01Speaker 1: side experiment she's talking about little with the scientists. All right, ray,
- 41:08Speaker 1: Yeah that that went crazy for real? Yeah? Yeah, all right,
- 41:12Speaker 1: we'll be back with a butterfly. He's up next with
- 41:15Speaker 1: this butterfly blog. You're listening, Steve Harvey. All right, y'all,
- 41:24Speaker 1: coming up next the butterflies. Hill Um, I don't yesterday
- 41:29Speaker 1: down on what he was talking about with Tommy and
- 41:33Speaker 1: the two. I don't know what are you gonna do now?
- 41:35Speaker 1: The blog? You know what it was? Can I say
- 41:37Speaker 1: this dog? The date that Tommy did Tommy Jesus, the
- 41:41Speaker 1: date that I did wasn't one of these Jesus Christ, wasn't,
- 41:47Speaker 1: are you exactly? It wasn't one of the tour dates.
- 41:51Speaker 1: It wasn't. It was a date that was already booked.
- 41:53Speaker 1: So that's that's what they looked confused. Was No, that's
- 41:56Speaker 1: not it. That wasn't it at all to dates or
- 41:59Speaker 1: book you booked on the date? Yeah, I booked that thing.
- 42:04Speaker 1: But I'm through teaching this lesson, so let's just move
- 42:07Speaker 1: on and stop bringing it up. For I have to file.
- 42:11Speaker 1: Who you think the phone Tommy Eugene is next? Ain't
- 42:20Speaker 1: that Sevil? Good morning everyone, Steven, Timmy Slee every yeah, Steven.
- 42:29Speaker 1: Next time you get up, climb up out Tommy here.
- 42:31Speaker 1: You need to tell Tommy. You know he's gonna quit,
- 42:34Speaker 1: you know, when he getting mad, he's gonna quit calling
- 42:35Speaker 1: me Steven. What he's gonna do. Climb up out of
- 42:38Speaker 1: Tommy's tell him that because he loses respect for me
- 42:43Speaker 1: when he get mad. Tommy, you need to respect your
- 42:46Speaker 1: uncle at all times. He is your uncle, all right.
- 42:50Speaker 1: I'm not being I'm not being disrespectful to him, just
- 42:53Speaker 1: I just trying to explain something him and he raised
- 42:55Speaker 1: his voice. And why can't you too get allowed on
- 43:00Speaker 1: dating little Tommy days? What's the problem with you all?
- 43:03Speaker 1: Why can't you get aloud what you think? I don't
- 43:09Speaker 1: know what it is. It just seems that's, like I said,
- 43:11Speaker 1: a bit of tension when you get to talking and things,
- 43:14Speaker 1: I don't go away all They didn't sing against It's
- 43:20Speaker 1: just like you. Tommy wants you to respect him, just
- 43:23Speaker 1: like Steve wants Tommy to respect him. It's kind of
- 43:26Speaker 1: the same thing. And when we when we when we
- 43:28Speaker 1: bought all the way down to it. Who's the problem
- 43:31Speaker 1: in in every situation? Thank you because it's not me.
- 43:39Speaker 1: Let me say this. Um, we're back on schedule, Jr.
- 43:44Speaker 1: What's up? Are you excited? What's your brother? Well, you

- 46:03Speaker 1: had to end a friendship. It's what we'll be talking
- 46:06Speaker 1: about and what what caused the end of your friendship?
- 46:11Speaker 1: I don't This is very sad. I hate to see
- 46:14Speaker 1: friendships in but you know, I've I've had to end
- 46:18Speaker 1: something in my life. There's a question of the day.
- 46:29Speaker 1: Have you ever had to end a friendship? Line to Eric? Hey? Eric,
- 46:34Speaker 1: what's going on? Man? All right, how y'all doing this morning?
- 46:38Speaker 1: We're doing good? Eric? Man? What what? What? What? Have
- 46:41Speaker 1: you lost? Your friend? Man? That kind of bothered you
- 46:43Speaker 1: about the way it ended. Now, I'm gonna tell you
- 46:46Speaker 1: what happened. Uh, My neighbor crossed the street from me.
- 46:50Speaker 1: Be married, I'm married, I kids, I'm gone. My wife
- 46:54Speaker 1: worked home. He calls for some on a holler and
- 46:58Speaker 1: my wife try to get out of that. So my
- 47:01Speaker 1: wife tells me what happened. And about a week later,
- 47:05Speaker 1: because he worked that night, I worked during the day
- 47:07Speaker 1: a lot of times tisted stuff. So I caught him
- 47:11Speaker 1: in the street one day and I confronted him about it,
- 47:14Speaker 1: but my kids was outside. I couldn't really lay hands
- 47:18Speaker 1: on him like I wanted to. So, long story short,
- 47:22Speaker 1: A couple of weeks go by and last night I
- 47:24Speaker 1: was sitting on the park I had to watch the kids.
- 47:26Speaker 1: Was bad. I sat on the board and I'm looking
- 47:28Speaker 1: at him home having a couple of drinks and yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 47:33Speaker 1: I know where that will come on. But I just
- 47:35Speaker 1: pull on my parking nine pm and I just went
- 47:38Speaker 1: to popping tires on both his truth and his daughter's tires.
- 47:41Speaker 1: So that's what caller, dude, what you did? What dog?
- 47:49Speaker 1: I had a couple of drinks on my poort and
- 47:51Speaker 1: thought about it. I had a couple of drinks. I
- 47:54Speaker 1: just want to pull my pocket night Pom, and I
- 47:56Speaker 1: just popped the times on bocus Tuk and his daughters.
- 48:01Speaker 1: Why the daughter, though, man, Why baby girl ain't done nothing?
- 48:06Speaker 1: Why why we do the daughter's vehicle? The moment hated
- 48:11Speaker 1: the moment he was. He didn't he didn't even confront
- 48:16Speaker 1: the game. I confront him about it. I said, I
- 48:19Speaker 1: couldn't lay hands on the man like I wanted to
- 48:21Speaker 1: my kids about my player. At the time, I thought
- 48:25Speaker 1: to him, yeah, see these a neighborly dispute, y'all gotta
- 48:28Speaker 1: handle it them. You can't just gold and just beat
- 48:31Speaker 1: this man. Man. But Jil he got kids, you know,
- 48:39Speaker 1: But his car gonna get done next you know, I'm
- 48:42Speaker 1: it's gonna go on and on. You don't know me, o,
- 48:47Speaker 1: man flee that man? No, that was you. Come what
- 48:51Speaker 1: y'all don't have all y'all don't had your confrontation in
- 48:54Speaker 1: the middle of the street. You don't think he knows
- 48:55Speaker 1: that's you? Well that the confrontation was a few weeks though,
- 49:00Speaker 1: so I said. I was sitt up there and I
- 49:01Speaker 1: was just like, man, I really wanted hands on the man.
- 49:04Speaker 1: I couldn't, I said the time, and ain't never right.
- 49:08Speaker 1: I can't never kid somebody himself. And it just got
- 49:11Speaker 1: to me last night. Yeah, how all are you? Man?
- 49:15Speaker 1: I'm forty. You're too old for there? Dog? Are you
- 49:22Speaker 1: too old? Dog? Yeah? Dog, No, you're too old. That's him.
- 49:31Speaker 1: I gave to you. You're too old for this. Slow
- 49:38Speaker 1: to go to jail. I ain't slow on the proper
- 49:40Speaker 1: tide though, I don't showing him right there. My wife, see,
- 49:53Speaker 1: I got to see you. I got I'd rather go
- 49:56Speaker 1: talk to the dude. I knew what if you're going.
- 50:02Speaker 1: I said, he's sitting on that porch and had to
- 50:04Speaker 1: come up right. He went off the street. Dang dong
- 50:07Speaker 1: avon call it not say something else to my wife.
- 50:12Speaker 1: My thanks for calling. Man. Y'all keep those calls coming.
- 50:19Speaker 1: We come back after the breaking four day after our time,
- 50:21Speaker 1: I got a prank phone call. Yo, you know it.
- 50:24Speaker 1: You're listening, Steve. Forty eight minutes after the hour, coming
- 50:32Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, we got the
- 50:33Speaker 1: strawberry letter. But food what you got? Alright? Uh? Just
- 50:38Speaker 1: something right here? Is uh the preacher's wife. Ye, somebody's wife.
- 50:43Speaker 1: Though you ever learned you're gonna keep I can't call
- 50:50Speaker 1: the preacher's wife. Okay, no, you can't. For what wife?
- 50:55Speaker 1: You always called somebody wife. That's where the funny it.
- 51:00Speaker 1: All right, let's go scared for you for real. Man. Hello, Hello,
- 51:11Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach your sister Angela. Sister Angela, please,
- 51:16Speaker 1: how you doing. My name is Brother Clayton. I'm calling
- 51:19Speaker 1: you from a Greater Baptist Church. How are you doing
- 51:21Speaker 1: this morning? I'm fine, I'm fine. Yeah, listen, I know
- 51:27Speaker 1: that your husband, Reverend Reverend Jonathan, is actually one of
- 51:32Speaker 1: the candidates that we may be choosing to be our
- 51:34Speaker 1: pastor since our past pastor has stepped down. Yes, yes, yes,
- 51:39Speaker 1: I'm I'm very proud of my husband. I think you'll
- 51:42Speaker 1: make a very good candidate. As a matter of fact,
- 51:44Speaker 1: here at the church, we've been asking a lot of
- 51:46Speaker 1: the deacons and and and assistant Uh ministers here have
- 51:51Speaker 1: been asking different questions, different things that they would be
- 51:54Speaker 1: doing once they became pastor, you know, like your first
- 51:57Speaker 1: one hundred days. What would you try and change ain't
- 52:00Speaker 1: here at the church, or try and make better? So
- 52:02Speaker 1: to speak? Yet, But but what my husband he's not
- 52:04Speaker 1: here right now? Did you need to speak to him? No,
- 52:06Speaker 1: not right now? What what we decided to do? Uh?
- 52:09Speaker 1: Since Angela is actually called the wives and asked them
- 52:14Speaker 1: a few questions. Okay, that's a little different, and we
- 52:18Speaker 1: don't we don't want to take up too much of
- 52:19Speaker 1: your time. You know. A lot of times, Uh, if
- 52:22Speaker 1: a pastor is stressed at home, nine times out of ten,
- 52:27Speaker 1: he's likely to be stressed at the church. So I
- 52:31Speaker 1: guess my, my, my biggest question to you is is
- 52:35Speaker 1: your husband stressed at home? Uh? No, not that I
- 52:40Speaker 1: know of. He eats regularly, he's on a good diet,
- 52:44Speaker 1: you know, go to the doctor Regularly's just physical, Um,
- 52:49Speaker 1: pretty good at home. I don't have a reason to
- 52:51Speaker 1: believe that he's stressed. He certainly hasn't brought anything to
- 52:54Speaker 1: my attention. Okay, No, I don't, I don't. I don't,
- 52:57Speaker 1: I don't, I don't. I don't think you follow me, Andrew.
- 53:01Speaker 1: What I'm saying is he's stressed behind closed doors? Is
- 53:06Speaker 1: he stressed in that fashion? Um, I'm not. I'm not
- 53:12Speaker 1: too sure I follow you. You say behind closed to
- 53:14Speaker 1: what exactly what you mean by that is he? Is
- 53:17Speaker 1: he stressed in y'all's relations Is he stressed? Are you
- 53:25Speaker 1: asking me about my personal business? Providence? Well, what I'm
- 53:28Speaker 1: saying is if he's stressed at home, he'll be stressed
- 53:31Speaker 1: at the church. And if he's stressed at the church,
- 53:33Speaker 1: then the members are stressed. Then the congregation is stressed.
- 53:37Speaker 1: So the stress start with you. Excuse me. If you
- 53:41Speaker 1: are making sure that he's all right at home, he's
- 53:44Speaker 1: gonna be all right at the church. I'm sorry, brother.
- 53:48Speaker 1: What was your name? Brother Clayton? Brother Clayton. I appreciate you,
- 53:52Speaker 1: um conducting whatever interviews you guys need to conduct with
- 53:56Speaker 1: the candidates. Wise, I do think that's pretty much personal territory,
- 54:00Speaker 1: and I really don't want to answer those kind of questions.
- 54:02Speaker 1: It's not personal since the Angela Win is so many
- 54:06Speaker 1: other people involved. See, that's why I'm asking you the question,
- 54:09Speaker 1: is your man stressed behind? I could assure you, yes,
- 54:14Speaker 1: that my husband is not stressed at home. If I
- 54:17Speaker 1: get your drift, he is not stressed behind closed doors, brother,
- 54:21Speaker 1: and I would appreciate you if you don't call. What
- 54:24Speaker 1: these kind of questions are you asking other candidates? Why
- 54:26Speaker 1: these kind of questions? Well, I was the one UH
- 54:30Speaker 1: dedicated to call to give you a call, and that's
- 54:32Speaker 1: the question that I decided to come up with because
- 54:34Speaker 1: I want to know if a man is gonna be stressed,
- 54:36Speaker 1: because if he's gonna have tension at at the church,
- 54:39Speaker 1: then then the congregation is going to have tension. The
- 54:42Speaker 1: church is gonna have tension, and the church cannot move
- 54:44Speaker 1: forward in the direction on with. My husband and I
- 54:47Speaker 1: have been married twenty to five years and they've been
- 54:50Speaker 1: twenty five good years. If you get my drift, okay,
- 54:54Speaker 1: he is not stressed at home, and whatever goes on
- 54:57Speaker 1: at home, my husband has sense enough not to take
- 54:59Speaker 1: it to the church. That is not something he's gonna do.
- 55:01Speaker 1: So you don't see that about anybody else being stressed
- 55:04Speaker 1: at the congregation in the pulpit nowhere. Okay, we ask
- 55:08Speaker 1: together at home, and I appreciate if you don't ask
- 55:10Speaker 1: me those kind of questions. But sometimes, but sometimes a
- 55:15Speaker 1: woman does not realize that that a husband is stressed.
- 55:18Speaker 1: You understand that there's a possible way that you don't
- 55:21Speaker 1: know that he's stressed. So how can you get let
- 55:24Speaker 1: me get your phone a matter of fact, let me
- 55:25Speaker 1: get your full name. What's your first name? Let's just
- 55:28Speaker 1: go with brother Clayton right now? Could you please answer
- 55:30Speaker 1: this question? How can you guarantee that he is fully
- 55:34Speaker 1: not stressed? Brother Clayton calling the lord real quick hold on,
- 55:40Speaker 1: Brother Clayton. I'm an honorable woman. I'm a woman who
- 55:43Speaker 1: stands by my man. Okay, but you are asking me
- 55:47Speaker 1: some questions that's very personal, very private, very confidential. You
- 55:52Speaker 1: are asking me questions that that that a question is
- 55:55Speaker 1: the safety of my marriage. Okay. My husband is not stressed,
- 56:01Speaker 1: and I don't send him away from my home stressed. Okay,
- 56:07Speaker 1: how do you know? But what are you doing to
- 56:10Speaker 1: make sure that this is less stress? Clayton, I'm about
- 56:13Speaker 1: to end this phone call. Okay, now, if you know,
- 56:16Speaker 1: we're not gonna end this phone call until that we
- 56:19Speaker 1: know we I need to know that Reverend Jonathan is
- 56:22Speaker 1: not stressed at home. They put they assigned me to
- 56:25Speaker 1: talk to you, and that's what I'm going to do,
- 56:27Speaker 1: and I'm gonna leave. He is not stressed. I don't
- 56:29Speaker 1: know who told you that the man is not stressed
- 56:31Speaker 1: if he had to stress around you, I bet you.
- 56:35Speaker 1: I bet you he's stressed because you're stressing me right
- 56:37Speaker 1: now now, we're both stressed out. How can we understand
- 56:40Speaker 1: that that man is not stressed. That's the end of
- 56:42Speaker 1: this conversation. Do you understand me? Give me your full
- 56:45Speaker 1: name right now, give me some intimate details, and then
- 56:48Speaker 1: I'll give you my cross the line. You don't wait
- 56:51Speaker 1: till my husband gets here. If this is gonna cost
- 56:53Speaker 1: him a candadcy, does this so be? We'll find another chunch.
- 56:56Speaker 1: I'd have some choice words for you right now. For Clayton,
- 57:00Speaker 1: I will give you my name right now. Do you
- 57:02Speaker 1: have a pen? Yes, I'm gonna writer right now. The
- 57:05Speaker 1: letter N N is in nancy E N E p
- 57:14Speaker 1: h E W. Is that nephew? Your name is nephew Clayton.
- 57:20Speaker 1: My name ain't nephew Clayton. My name is nephew Tommy
- 57:22Speaker 1: from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just got pranked
- 57:25Speaker 1: by your husband, Reverend Jonathan. You said, this is nephew Tommy.
- 57:36Speaker 1: This is from the Steve Harvey Morning It's your Your
- 57:41Speaker 1: husband got me to prank phone call you. Oh lord,
- 57:45Speaker 1: I'm gonna kill it. I don't need that. Oh dressed
- 57:50Speaker 1: me sent me this morning. I can't believe I let
- 57:55Speaker 1: you know planks before. Oh my God, tell me. I
- 58:01Speaker 1: will tell you if this was five years ago. Brother,
- 58:05Speaker 1: I cussed up a storm. I'm so glad. I'm a
- 58:09Speaker 1: safe woman. Well, listen, listen. Can I ask you one
- 58:14Speaker 1: more thing? What is the baddest radio show in the
- 58:18Speaker 1: last The Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the
- 58:24Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Buck love and hold on tight, y'all.
- 58:30Speaker 1: It's that time, strong subject. Should I give up on
- 58:35Speaker 1: my best friend? Just Stephen Shirley. I have been best
- 58:39Speaker 1: friends with someone for eighteen years. This relationship was strictly
- 58:44Speaker 1: platonic for the this period until I finally gave in
- 58:48Speaker 1: year nineteen to become more than just friends. After two
- 58:52Speaker 1: years of this, I realized that there will be no
- 58:55Speaker 1: commitment on his part, so I went ahead and explained
- 58:57Speaker 1: to him that I cannot continue with this relation and
- 59:00Speaker 1: ship and I need some kind of commitment, even though
- 59:02Speaker 1: he claims that he has been with no one else.
- 59:05Speaker 1: I thought, after all these years of being friends, we
- 59:07Speaker 1: would have at least been engaged by this time. Since
- 59:10Speaker 1: I broke off the intimate relationship, he keeps calling me
- 59:13Speaker 1: and wants to be intimate, wants me to be intimate
- 59:16Speaker 1: with him, to which I promptly hang up and ignore him.
- 59:21Speaker 1: I guess he did not get it or understand what
- 59:23Speaker 1: I said to him. The issue is this, Should I
- 59:26Speaker 1: just give up on being friends with this man who
- 59:29Speaker 1: has been my best friend for so long, or try
- 59:31Speaker 1: to reason with him to get him to understand me.
- 59:34Speaker 1: P S. I am a woman, you thought all right? Uh?
- 59:41Speaker 1: Dear my sister, you know all this stuff really should
- 59:43Speaker 1: be discussed and worked out if you guys are friends
- 59:46Speaker 1: before you crossed that line. You know, Um, you guys
- 59:51Speaker 1: have been friends for eighteen years and on the nineteenth
- 59:53Speaker 1: you decide to to to give in to him. But
- 59:56Speaker 1: what do you guys talk about in those eighteen years?
- 59:59Speaker 1: I mean, after you do something like this, then you
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: really get to see how close you guys are as friends. Uh,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: now you're friends with benefits. Uh. He obviously, you know,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: was saying whatever to you just to get you in
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: bed at the time, and he still wants to do that.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: You know. I do applaud you though, forgetting it finally
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: and realizing that there is no commitment here. Uh, it's
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: just you know, a sexual relationship between you two. Um.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: I don't know what happened to the friendship. Looks like
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: it just went out the door. I mean, you can
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: try to be friends with this guy if you want to,
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: but I don't think it's gonna work. I think you
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: crossed the line and you kind of messed it up,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: and now he's only interested in, um, you know, being
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: your bed partner. So I mean, if I were you,
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: I just leave it alone. You know, maybe down the
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: road sometimes you guys can be friends again, just platonic
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: friends again. But right now, no, Steve Bomb, I kind
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: of have to disagree with you on this one, Shirley,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: just because of a couple of things in this letter.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: And then I have a little inside track on how
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: men think. You. Remember the other day I said that
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: wants me and think of you in terms of just
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: for sex. They normally don't graduate you to the next level.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: Remember said that? Okay, all right, let's keep that in man. Okay,
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: now here's a deal. Uh. This woman says she's been
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: best friends with someone for eighteen years strictly plutonic, until
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: I finally gave in in year number nineteen. That's the
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: key to this whole letter. I finally gave in year nineteen.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: What you means eighteen years this man been tapping at
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: her little pick here, a little pick there, little hey, hey,
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: what's having you know, just keeping on that string, talking
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: as friends. And they probably formed a really good friendship
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: over that time because there was nothing more to it.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: But he just kept on. This got him put eighteen
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: years of pecking in, just pecking at him, to finally
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: the egg cracked open. Here's the only mistake that was made.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: And I've said it a thousand times, you cracked open.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: And like Shirley said, this is the part I agree.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: Y'all been talking for eighteen years. You didn't discuss this
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: at all. For eighteen years, You of anybody, could have
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: gotten it right. Hell, you're way beyond the ninety day rule.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: You were you in the eight you had time to
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: figure out everything. But guess what, there's too many holes
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: in this letter and stuff you'd act like you don't
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: know nothing about. You finally gave in and year nineteen
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: to become more than friends. After two years of this,
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: I realized that that would be no commitment. It took
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: you two years to figure out that would be no commitment. Well,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: in the two years of sleeping with him? Was a
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: commitment of requirement? Or did you just foolishly set yourself
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: out there after eighteen years of talking and just put
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: yourself out there sexually and no commitment after eighteen years
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: of talking to this guy? Come on, this should have
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: been nothing but a commitment from you for this to
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: even move to the next level. Hell, you become best friends?
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: I really. I hear people say it all the time.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: It's better to become friends with the person then lovers.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: I hear that all the time. First, well, okay, now
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: what has happened here to that little saying that people have.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: If you don't set your standards and requirements up in
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: the beginning, you can flip it around. I'll show you
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: how to do it when we come back. But you
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: could flip it around. But now when you realize that
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: there was no commitment on his part. Then you explain
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: to him you can't continue to relationship and you need
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: some kind of commitment after two years, then you say
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: this even though he claims that he has been with
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: no one else. I thought, after all those years of
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: being friends, we could at least have been engaged by
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: this time. You thought you could be engaged. You did
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: not require that you be engaged. And guess what, let
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: me ask you a question. A man tells you that
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: he's been with no one else, you can't possibly be
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: talking about eighteen years. You're talking about the two years
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: that y'all been seeing each other, which could be true.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: I know you're not talking about the eight team, okay,
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: and it could be very true that he's been with
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: no one else. But you thought after all those years
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: that we would at least been engaged by now, that's
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: what you thought. That was never a requirement in the beginning.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: But see, guess what, it's really not too late for
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: you or any body else that finds themselves in the
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: situation like that. I will tell you something that you
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: can attempt to do when we come back, and it'll work.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: If he's feeling you and loving you now, if he's
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: not loving you. This response that I'm gonna give you
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: when I come back will not work. But you can
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: do a lithmus test. Is that the word lithmus? Litmus?
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: You can do a litmus test. We're gonna do an
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: early pregnancy test when we come back, find out if
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: you're pregnant if this guy's emotions are not. You're listening,
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: Steve Hight, We're back. Listen. Oh, I got part to
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: of this letter now that I care but or you.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: But we're right after this back to the should give
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: up my best friend? Um. First of all, this woman
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: was in a plutonic relationship with this man for eighteen
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: years and then year a team, she says in the letter,
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: until I finally gave in year nineteen. Became more than friends.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: But after two years she realized that there's gonna be
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: no commitment on his part. So I explained to him
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: that I cannot continue with this relationship. I need some
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: kind of commitment, even though he claims he's been with
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: no one else all those years of being friends. Uh.
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: We she figured after all of this, She figured, all
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: those years of being friends, that we would at least
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: have been engaged by now I've reminded her that if
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: you do not make the engagement a requirement. See, men,
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: let me let me share something with you. All women
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: have a dream of getting married one day. Most women,
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: not all, but most. Most women dream of their wedding day.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: They prepare for it from the times their kids. Okay,
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: a man does not dream of his wedding day. A
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: man only dreams of the woman of his dreams. Do
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: you understand me? So, see if we can get the
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: woman of our dreams without the wedding day. Hey, we cool?
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: Get that through your head. Were cool? If you can
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: help us with our dreams, support us, give us that sweet,
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: sweet loving you giving us, you know, help us with
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: the bills, give us some kids. Were cool? We have
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: the woman of our dreams. Don't have to. We don't
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: have to. It's no, no, no, no no. I'm just saying.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: No man dreams of his wedding day. The wedding day
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: is usually the dream of a woman. Understand what I'm saying. Now.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: There are plenty of men who will ask you to
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: marry them, but these are usually men who know that
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: that's a requirement of yours. Why do you think so
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: many people are just living together that men didn't, but
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: I didn't. Look. They've got bridle shops, they got bridle magazines,
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: wedding planners, guys. Guys have a tuxedo shop. And when
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: we get through with the tucks, we take it back.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: Come on, now, women keep their dressing storage for years.
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: Pick out the veiled, what color flutes, what the invitation
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: is gonna look like? God, don't give damn by none
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: of that. We just want the girl. The day is
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: your day. If you don't make your day a priority,
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: then it's not a priority in our hearts. We just
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: won't you. And if we can get you without all that,
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: then we'll do it. But if we know that that's
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: a requirement to have you, then bam, that's how we
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: do it. So if you're the relationship and it's been
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: going on for a while and you want to change
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: the game, then you have to change the requirements to
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: play the game. And if a god loves you and
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: wants to continue to play the game, then he'll give
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: you what you want. You have got to get what
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: you want. So you're saying there's a chance for her
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: to be with this guy, that's what you're absolutely, absolutely
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: there is a chance but it has to be a requirement.
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: But see, guess what, he keeps calling back asking for
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: the sex. But if she go back and just have
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: it without the requirement, being man, she's doing. She's taking
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: the right step. She just gotta stay to it. She's
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: taking the right step. She just had to stay to
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: it and set this guy down because they gotta be
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: of some age about right about now. You know, they've
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: got to be a little bit older than So make
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: your move and hold to it. And if he's loving you,
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: he'll do it. If he don't love you, he's not
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: gonna do it. There was no mention of loving. The
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: letters love each other, but they're not in love. Now.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: Coming up after the break at thirty or four after
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: the hour, Michael Jackson's ranch back on the market. Get
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: your coins together, let's buy it off. Come on, baby,
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: let's get him been out there. Huh, it's beautiful. I
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: just don't I don't want three fourths of the stuff
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: out there, you know, get them damn train tracks took off.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: We damn train of out of here. You're listening, st Yeah,
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: I gotta get all that out there. Damn giraffe fences.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: Get the giraffe to Coming up next, Michael Jackson's never
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: Land Ranch is back on the market, So please get
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: your court. We're buying it, all right, Steve. Michael Jackson's
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: Neverland Ranch back on the market. The Santa Barbara County,
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: California estate has been renamed Sycamore Valley Ranch with an
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: asking price of get this. You want to buy a
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: Nephew sixties seven? I said, a six and a seven
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: sixty seven million dollars, which is down from last year's
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: a hundred million dollar price tag. Now, Steve, do you
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: remember from your stand up comedy special Still Tripping when
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: you were talking about taking Winton out to never never Land. Well, okay,
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: here it is. Take a listen now. I love Michael Jackson,
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: me and Michael personal friends. I've been on CNN with
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: Michael tooking the church one time. Michael, good dude, Michael.
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: Michael just different, that's all. Mike just different. That's because
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: Mike got that other kind of money. You had money
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: like Mike, you'd be different too. Mike got money, you ain't.
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: You can't count my money Mike got. Michael Jackson got
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: giraffe money. Mike got so much money he didn't thought
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: to giraffe. You don't even know who to call the
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: check on the giraffe. You ain't got a number. You're
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: super black behind me to call the zoo. You know
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: good well the zoo ain't gonna sell you the giraffe.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: And where you're gonna keep the giraffe at anyway? You
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: already got the dog tied up to the tree. Giraffe
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: back the heat, not the dog food ball, giraffe choking on.
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: Call it greens. You didn't set outside. Y'all can't tell
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: me that. He's telling my money won't change me? Well,
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: money make you different. Mike got all kinds of money.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: I have been at the Mike house, my little boy,
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: go out that women all out the ranch and that
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: thing Mike got three thousand acres, got a train go
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: all around the whole land. My look, I'm telling my daddy,
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: can we get a train? Let me get trained and
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: we can get one. But it just don't go around
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: the swimming pool. That ain't got that kind of money.
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: All out in the backyard with the train. Yeah, that's it,
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: you and your stories man, Yeah yeah, ladies and gentlemen,
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: She's here, the one and only, the loving it miss
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: An trull crazy self. Good morning everybody. This is answered
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: with the news board for good morning, and this is
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: I'm gonna end with a real funny story, believe it
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: or not. Funny sad. Actually, House Republicans have now unveiled
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: their planning to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Actor.
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: Would eliminate the requirement that all of Ricans have to
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: have a plan, but low income Americans would be eligible
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: to apply for tax credits. There would be no subsidies anymore.
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: President Trump has signed a new executive order banning refugees
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: and visitors now from six instead of seven, mostly Muslim countries,
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: in an effort to improve on his first band, which
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: was blocked, you know, by the federal courts. The new
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: order will not take effect until March sixteenth. Immigrant advocates
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: say this new one is no better than the first one,
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: and we'll probably be challenged in court. And here we go.
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: Dr Ben Carson and his first Housing and Urban Development
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: address compared slaves to immigrants, that's what America is about,
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: the land of dreams and opportunity. There were other immigrants
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: who came here in the bottom of slave ships, work
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: even longer, even harder, for less but they too had
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: a dream that one day their sons, daughter's grandson's granddaughter's
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: great grandsons might pursue prosperity and happiness in this land.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: And do you know, of all the nations in the world,
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: the United States of America. It's the only one big
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: enough and great enough to allow all those people to
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: realize their dream. Yeah, anyway, Sama, Jackson tweeted, Okay, Ben,
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: I can't immigrants in the bottom of slave shift. Then
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: he says some stuff I can't tell you act Mindel Pierce.
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: He said, raping my grandmother's my family sold his property.
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: The physical assault and abuse. Isn't the immigration the n
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: double A c P said, simply immigrants. Uncle tom My
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: name is Ben Carson from Star Jones. And finally says
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: Ben Carson, go watch Bruce, immigrants come here voluntarily. Can't
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: really say the same about slaves they were stolen And
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: go back to the Steve Harvey Mortar Show. All right,
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: when we come back a forty eight after the hour,
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: what's your worst friends story? Okay eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve,
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: I'm what you're listening to? The Steve Harvey Show coming
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: up next? Uh, what's your worst break up friend story?
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: What's really saying? What happened? You know? A seven seven
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: twenty nine coming up next? We're gonna take the calls.
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: All right, here's a question of the day, guys. What
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: happened to break up your friendship? I'm not talking about
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: a relationship or I'm talking about a friendship with your dog,
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: with your girl? What happened? What happened to make you
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: guys break up? Who did what? And why? You know
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: if you know that? Eight seven seven Steed, eight seven
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: seven nine, Steve. We're taking your phone calls. Can I
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: jump in here? Can I jump in a real quick though? Yeah?
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: What you you? You gotta break friendship? Breakup? What? Okay?
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: All right, let's go back to college. Okay, college roommate
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: and I had several roommates in college. Has Severs all
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: great guys. Had a college roommate and I told him,
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: I said, listen, I'm here in the room with old girl.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: Now I'm in there with a girl I ain't posed
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: to be in that week. Okay, about an hour and
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: a half, go back. It's a knock at the dog.
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: I'm I'm thinking my roommate gonna he gonna take care
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: of whoever the dough, He's gonna make sure they don't
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: get in the house. Then he comes to my bedroom,
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: dough or knock on my dough. Hey, uh, such and
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: such as here I say, uh, I told you, tell
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: tell him I ain't here right now? No, no, no,
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: she right here though, I say, right here? Where? Right here?
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: Behind me? I said, how to get in the house,
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: I said, get an apartment? Doc? Yeah, was she right
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: here behind me? Next thing I know, the dough and
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: flew open, and here this girl comes storm and in
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: mad as I all get out. Of course I have
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: nothing on your naked always you know, I'm I'm always
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: halfway naked. I can't believe now here I am trying
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: to explain myself Nike, and the other girl is over
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: there naked, and my roommates standing in the door looking
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: at me, and I'm just looking at him while I'm naked,
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: really mad, really really. The whole thing that got me
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: was she right here behind me? How do get How
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: should get in the house? Up the stairs? How we
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: how we really? For friends say it, Let's just say
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: I needed a break at that time. Boy. One of
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: my greatest naked moments right there, that is naked and
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: bad at the same time. Yeah, it's hard, you know,
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: it didn't the girl at bust up in their college.
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: So so what's going on in here? You see what's
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: going on in here. We ain't gotta act like does
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: an elephant in the room. You'll see what's going on
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: in here. Man. That's funny. I think with women it's
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: different because all the time, you know relationship. Mine was
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: in college too, though, and we were at this party, right,
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: he was down the street from me. What happened? Yeah,
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: so he's at this party and my girlfriend Shirley you
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: met my girlfriend too from Detroit. Oh. She was at
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: the party and she said, I just want to let
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: you know your girl. I was trying to Holier. Oh boy,
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: that you trying to holt that's supposed to be your girl,
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: girl girlfriend code. And she was like, everybody knows, So
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: I'll go up to the rest of the girl. Wait.
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: I go to the rest of the girls and was
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: all cool, and he was like, oh, yeah, we thought
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: you knew. Yeah, everybody knew it. That that's the worst
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: when they say everybody else everybody knew. But I bought
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: this girl to to the click of the of the
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: friendship with the girls, so they like, you want We
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: thought she was cool? Did she that stabbed you? So
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: I went up to it at the party? Oh, here
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: come to fight labor flav was on public enemy at
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: the party and I went up to it and I said,
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: going to talk to you for a second. She say
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: what and I said, am sorry, no enemy. I wanted to,
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: but I did, so I asked her about it, and
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: that's said, so you're like old boy. You trying to
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: hollow that old boy and you know that me and
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: old boy I was trying to hollow And she said,
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: well yeah, oh, I said what about the girlfriend? Cole?
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: What about And she was like, oh, I thought y'all
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: were just friends because that's what he said. But say
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: it doesn't matter what he said. You knew how I
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: felt about him. And she was like, well, I'm just
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: going out what he said. So need let's just say bam,
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: oh no, you try to get to do behind the
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: public and you boys. To this day when I hear
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: public ind of me, I think about college and bam.
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: So love this boy. Yeah, all right, let's go to
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: the phone, Shirley. Let's go to line five. Talk to
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: jen Lan out of California. Hello, Yeah, what happened with
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: your friend shop? Hi? Um, I've just been knowing the
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: guy for going on three years. It's just a down
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: on a can um, you know, art doing him accusing
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: me of jealousy with me and buying me drinks in
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: the bar. But he's outside of the bar, you know,
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: hanging around. They could be doing the same thing. But
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: he got on at him because he got caught up
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: in the system behind me. One yeah, and they let
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: him out. They gave him some reprobation and three years
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: to stay away from me, and he had to do classes.
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: He just completed his classes, four year domestic classes. But
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: he was still in contact with me, and I was
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: being stupid, you know, trying to give him another chance,
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: and it just he's very hey, gently excuse me one second.
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: Can you hang on, Please hang on the line. Okay,
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right. Yeah,
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: with all the stuff that the president President Trump has
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: to do, he took time out to take a hit
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: on Arnold Schwarzenegger. Okay, thing that is Ray eating suck
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: and all that. You should think about hiring a new
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: joke writer and fact checker. That's what Arnold. Arnold shot back,
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: saying to the president, this was an interview with him. Yeah,
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: this was an interview with Empire magazine. Schwarzenegger blamed the
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: show's low rating on Donald He said, Uh, everyone I
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: ran into came up to me and said, I love
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: the show, but I turned it off because as soon
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: as I read Donald Trump's name, I'm out of there.
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: Even though Trump was fired as the host, Uh, he
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: was still attached as a producer. So that's why Arnold
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: said what he said. Okay, so he's trying to say.
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: Viewers said that when they saw President Trumps regular producer,
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: they stopped way. So Arnold's not taking any responsibility even
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: though the President was excusing him of that. My opinion, though,
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: I think, uh, when Trump was on The Apprentice, it
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: was more exciting. I don't think Arnold was the right
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: guy for I really don't, to be honest with you,
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: I wouldn't take away political whatever stuff. You feel. People
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: were more engaged with Donald Trump on The Apprentice because
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: he created it and they were waiting for him to
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: say you're fired. Yeah, and you know, he had so
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: much of a way with it. And now look, Donald
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: couldn't be right. There could be some backlash from it
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: being a Donald Trump project, but people that watch TV
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: really don't look at it that way. Why do we
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: get Donald to just go back and do that and
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: and you know, and we're doing everything. I got news
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: for you. He is doing that. Its presidency is a
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: reality show. It's really exciting. Yeah, it's like all right, well,
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: well moving on. We do have to say congrat relations
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: to President Barack Obama. The former president will receive the
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: two thousand seventeen John F. Kennedy Library Foundations Profile in
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: Courage Award. The foundation announced today they are recognizing Obama
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: for his work on climate change, expanding healthcare, and restoring
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: diplomatic relations with Cuba. President Kennedy called on a new
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: generation of Americans to give their talent to the service
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: of the country. Kennedy's daughter Caroline said in a statement,
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: with exceptional dignity and courage, President Obama has carried that
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: torch into our own time, providing young people of all
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: backgrounds with an example they can emulate in their own lives.
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: Mr Obama tweeted that he's humbled by the honor. I'm
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: just so happy, you know. He deserves that. He deserves
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: all those accolades. Great president, he was such a change alright.
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: If you don't know now you know, we come back
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: from the break at eighteen after the hour, Pastor Motown

- 1:27:00Speaker 1: Last week he fell trying to spind and fell into
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: the band and broke the the drummer's drums. Yeah, we

- 1:27:17Speaker 1: Deacon thought U he can pay for them damn drums do.
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: It's what he can do because little Pookin, who's been

- 1:27:32Speaker 1: same sticks. Yeah, and uh, them sticks is so old.
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: James Cleveland autographed him. James autographed one, and then he
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: flew to Baltimore and had Sister Sherley or autograph from
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: last year after she came out with the rap hit

- 1:28:48Speaker 1: Al right, now let her know that. Yeah, we will

- 1:28:57Speaker 1: I said, why is she collecting off when clearly Deacon
