Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is Verdict with Ted Cruz the Week in Review,
- 0:04Speaker 2: Ben Ferguson with you, and we had some major stories
- 0:07Speaker 2: that you may have missed that we talked about this week.
- 0:10Speaker 2: First up, Iran attacks Israel and the worst part is
- 0:14Speaker 2: our administration seems to be helping Iran be flowing with
- 0:17Speaker 2: cash through oil sales that are sanctioned, but we are
- 0:21Speaker 2: not actually doing anything with those sanctions.
- 0:24Speaker 1: We're going to break that down for you.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Also, Walls lies and said the border crossings are down
- 0:31Speaker 2: during the debate. That is actually not true at all,
- 0:35Speaker 2: So why did they not fact check him in the media.
- 0:38Speaker 2: We'll expose that. And finally, Riley Games joins us to
- 0:42Speaker 2: talk about how more men are getting into women's sports.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Will this be the end of women's sports? And what
- 0:48Speaker 2: do women and mothers and grandmothers need to do to stand
- 0:51Speaker 2: up for their granddaughters and their daughters. It's the Weekend
- 0:55Speaker 2: Review and it starts right now.
- 0:58Speaker 3: That's how they fund Jimas, That's how they fund Hesbala,
- 1:01Speaker 3: That's how they fund the assassins that are trying to
- 1:03Speaker 3: murder Donald Trump is by selling oil. They were selling
- 1:06Speaker 3: roughly a million barrels of oil a day. I made
- 1:08Speaker 3: the case to the President and the oil waivers. There
- 1:11Speaker 3: was a fight in the Trump administration. State again was
- 1:15Speaker 3: on the wrong side. Mike Pompeo with Secretary of State.
- 1:18Speaker 3: He argued, if we end the oil waivers, the price
- 1:20Speaker 3: of oil well skyrocket. The price of gasoline at home
- 1:23Speaker 3: will go up. The Department of Energy, who you would
- 1:26Speaker 3: think would know something about energy, said that's nonsense. There's
- 1:29Speaker 3: plenty a global supply of oil. You could end the
- 1:32Speaker 3: oil waivers without materially impacting the price. Again, I weighed
- 1:35Speaker 3: in more than a dozen times with Trump. I was
- 1:38Speaker 3: there day after day after day making this case. Again,
- 1:41Speaker 3: he agreed with me. He ended the oil waivers.
- 1:44Speaker 4: Boom.
- 1:46Speaker 3: We know who was right. We know who was wrong.
- 1:48Speaker 3: Energy was right and State was wrong. The oil waivers ended,
- 1:53Speaker 3: and Iran's oil sales dropped from a million barrels a
- 1:56Speaker 3: day to three hundred thousand. Their revenue collapsed. And you
- 2:00Speaker 3: know what, the global price of oil didn't move a blip.
- 2:03Speaker 3: It had essentially zero impact, zero impact of the price
- 2:06Speaker 3: of the pump back at home. But it crushed the regime.
- 2:10Speaker 3: When Joe Biden and Kamala Harris came into office, the
- 2:13Speaker 3: Iranian economy was in shambles, the regime was teetering, it
- 2:17Speaker 3: was near falling. Which would be the best thing that
- 2:20Speaker 3: could possibly happen for the people of Iran and the
- 2:22Speaker 3: best thing that could possibly happen for Israel and for America.
- 2:26Speaker 3: And what did Joe Biden and Kamala Harris do. They
- 2:28Speaker 3: came in, They rode like the cavalry to save the
- 2:32Speaker 3: Ayatola and almost immediately they stopped in forcing oil sanctions.
- 2:37Speaker 3: When they came in, Iran was selling three hundred thousand
- 2:40Speaker 3: barrels of oil a day. How much you think they're
- 2:41Speaker 3: selling today.
- 2:42Speaker 4: I'm assuming it's got to be back to close where it.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Was used to be at a million barrels a day.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Today it's at two million barrels.
- 2:48Speaker 4: So they've doubled it.
- 2:49Speaker 3: They've doubled it from their high. Do you know how
- 2:53Speaker 3: much the difference is between three hundred thousand barrels a
- 2:55Speaker 3: day and two million barrels a day for the last
- 2:57Speaker 3: four years eighty billion dollars more than eighty billion time, which.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Goes back to them being able to now sponsor as
- 3:02Speaker 2: much terrorism activity as they want to, which includes putting
- 3:06Speaker 2: Israel and our other allies at.
- 3:07Speaker 3: Risk, and I want you to understand this threat on
- 3:10Speaker 3: Trump is real. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have given
- 3:14Speaker 3: the Ayatola one hundred billion dollars. One hundred billion dollars
- 3:19Speaker 3: buys you a lot of assassins and and and listen,
- 3:22Speaker 3: We're not just talking about, you know, some jack a
- 3:25Speaker 3: doodle with a suicide vest wandering up and trying to
- 3:29Speaker 3: blow up the president. We're not just talking about some
- 3:32Speaker 3: guy on a roof with a sniper rifle. Although we've
- 3:34Speaker 3: now seen two guys with sniper rifles, one who succeeded
- 3:38Speaker 3: in shooting Donald Trump, the other who was prepared to
- 3:41Speaker 3: do so and trying to do so. But they're also
- 3:43Speaker 3: greater dangers. I want you to watch a video, and
- 3:46Speaker 3: this is one where I hope as many of you
- 3:48Speaker 3: as possible are able to see the video version of
- 3:50Speaker 3: this and go to YouTube, subscribe to the YouTube channel,
- 3:54Speaker 3: but also watch this video version. This is a video
- 3:58Speaker 3: that was put out by the Government of a by
- 4:00Speaker 3: the Ayahtola. It was put out a couple of years ago,
- 4:03Speaker 3: in twenty twenty two. I want you to watch it
- 4:05Speaker 3: and for those of you who are listening, you'll be
- 4:07Speaker 3: able to hear it and we'll describe afterwards exactly what
- 4:10Speaker 3: you see. But this shows you what I Ran wants
- 4:12Speaker 3: to do.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Give a watch.
- 4:33Speaker 3: For those who are listening. We're seeing right now an
- 4:38Speaker 3: animated video of a drone attacking mar a Lago. They're
- 4:43Speaker 3: hacking into the computers. This is the Iranians. They put
- 4:46Speaker 3: together this video. They're disabling the security cameras. The drone
- 4:53Speaker 3: is now going to the golf course. Donald Trump is
- 4:55Speaker 3: playing on the golf course. There's a drone. There's a
- 4:58Speaker 3: robot that's on the ground, and there's a drone in
- 5:01Speaker 3: the air. The robot is pulling up to the golf
- 5:04Speaker 3: course and it is now sighting Donald Trump, who is
- 5:08Speaker 3: playing golf at his home at mar Lago, and the
- 5:12Speaker 3: Iranians are targeting him directly to murder him. They're typing
- 5:17Speaker 3: into computers, it says hacking. They're hacking into computers. People
- 5:22Speaker 3: who are playing golf with Trump are getting a text
- 5:25Speaker 3: Solomony's murderer and the one who gave the order will
- 5:28Speaker 3: pay the price. Each of the people playing golf with
- 5:32Speaker 3: Trump is now getting that text. The robot drone on
- 5:37Speaker 3: the ground is lighting Trump up with a laser guide
- 5:41Speaker 3: and the drone in the air is preparing to fire
- 5:44Speaker 3: a missile. The Iranian is hitting fire on a dashboard
- 5:51Speaker 3: and it ends with the words revenge is definite and
- 5:56Speaker 3: then an animation of general solomony with the Ayatola Kamenes
- 6:03Speaker 3: website on the bottom. This is what Iran wants to do.
- 6:07Speaker 4: And this is a couple of years ago when this
- 6:09Speaker 4: came out.
- 6:10Speaker 2: It's now resurfaced and kind of turned into oh wait,
- 6:13Speaker 2: this is something they've been twanty to do, trying to do,
- 6:16Speaker 2: planning to do, and now you find out they've got
- 6:18Speaker 2: the money and they're hiring people to try to take
- 6:20Speaker 2: out Donald Trump.
- 6:21Speaker 4: And nothing from this White House.
- 6:25Speaker 3: And here's the point that has been undercovered, and by undercovered,
- 6:28Speaker 3: I mean not covered at all in the media. This
- 6:31Speaker 3: White House is complicit. The hell is this White House doing.
- 6:35Speaker 3: You have a foreign nation trying to murder the former
- 6:38Speaker 3: president of the United States, the Republican nominee for president,
- 6:42Speaker 3: the leading candidate for president the polls, the person who
- 6:44Speaker 3: may well be president president elect in less than forty days,
- 6:49Speaker 3: and this Biden white House is doing nothing. They are
- 6:52Speaker 3: not going after they are not making clear you know
- 6:55Speaker 3: what they're doing today. They're letting Iran sell two million
- 6:59Speaker 3: bare of oil today like tomorrow. You know how much
- 7:03Speaker 3: they're going to sell two million barrels of oil, mostly
- 7:05Speaker 3: to communist China. The Biden White House is not saying
- 7:08Speaker 3: a word. Biden hasn't said a word. Kamala hasn't said
- 7:11Speaker 3: a word. They haven't said to Iran. Understand, clearly, you
- 7:14Speaker 3: will end this attempt. By the way, it's not just Trump.
- 7:17Speaker 3: They're also trying to murder Mike Pompeo, the former Secretary
- 7:20Speaker 3: of State of the United States. They're also trying to
- 7:22Speaker 3: murder John Bolton, the former national security advisor to President Trump.
- 7:26Speaker 3: They're also trying to murder Brian hook, the former Assistant
- 7:29Speaker 3: Secretary of State. The Department of State is today right
- 7:32Speaker 3: now spending two million dollars a month protecting those officials
- 7:36Speaker 3: from the Iranian hitman. And this administration continues to treat Iran.
- 7:41Speaker 3: The president of Iran was in New York at the
- 7:43Speaker 3: United Nations this past weekend, was treated like a celebrity
- 7:48Speaker 3: with this administration kissing his behind while he's actively trying
- 7:54Speaker 3: to murder the President of the United States. And look,
- 7:57Speaker 3: here's the dirty little secret. There is a not insubstantial
- 8:02Speaker 3: number of Democrats who are quietly rooting for a ran
- 8:06Speaker 3: to be successful in murdering Trump.
- 8:08Speaker 4: We've seen on social media.
- 8:09Speaker 2: By the way, you're not exaggerating every time there's an
- 8:11Speaker 2: attack on Trump's life. There are celebrities, there are Democrats.
- 8:16Speaker 2: There are people that are not i would say extreme
- 8:19Speaker 2: or fringe, people who are like rooting this on.
- 8:22Speaker 3: The polling shows twenty to thirty percent of Democrats want
- 8:25Speaker 3: Trump to be killed. Now, let me be clear. I
- 8:28Speaker 3: don't want Biden killed, I don't want Kamala killed. I
- 8:29Speaker 3: don't want any Democrats killed. I am anti murderer, I'm
- 8:33Speaker 3: anti assassination. If any country tries to do that, we
- 8:36Speaker 3: should bring the full might of the US military to
- 8:39Speaker 3: bring any regime that threatens the president or vice president,
- 8:43Speaker 3: a senior official in this administration, bring them to their knees.
- 8:46Speaker 3: I want to beat Kamala at the polls. I want
- 8:49Speaker 3: the voters to say your policies are terrible. But there
- 8:53Speaker 3: is a not insubstantial percentage of Democrats that are rooting
- 8:57Speaker 3: for please, Please, Please, having a assassin's bullet destroy that
- 9:02Speaker 3: they have been so poisoned by hate, they've been so
- 9:07Speaker 3: indoctrinated to hate Trump. He's not their political opposition. He
- 9:12Speaker 3: is the enemy, and it is I cannot believe there
- 9:18Speaker 3: is not outrage, there is not strength. I cannot believe
- 9:21Speaker 3: the ayatola has not been told if you attempt to
- 9:25Speaker 3: assassinate Donald Trump, you the ayah toola will die and
- 9:29Speaker 3: every mulla around you will die. You want to know
- 9:31Speaker 3: what strength looks like. Look at Israel. We're gonna put
- 9:34Speaker 3: a pager in your pants and blow your pants off.
- 9:37Speaker 3: I mean, I mean, Israel knows how to stand up
- 9:40Speaker 3: to people that are trying to murder them. The Biden
- 9:42Speaker 3: White House, what are they doing to stop an attempted
- 9:47Speaker 3: assassination of the former president and quite possibly the next
- 9:51Speaker 3: president of the United States?
- 9:53Speaker 4: Senter.
- 9:53Speaker 2: I want to say one thing because I know this
- 9:56Speaker 2: is gonna come up. And I laugh when I see
- 9:58Speaker 2: the comments when we put up the episodes on social media,
- 10:01Speaker 2: when we put them up on YouTube, and be like, well,
- 10:04Speaker 2: you're misleading the audience by claiming that we don't have
- 10:09Speaker 2: sanctions on Iran. We have sanctions on Iran. That's what
- 10:13Speaker 2: this administration says. But they're worthless if they're not being enforced,
- 10:18Speaker 2: right and That is the part I want you to
- 10:19Speaker 2: just expand on quickly because you'll see the media and
- 10:22Speaker 2: they'll say this, and the White House has said it
- 10:24Speaker 2: countless times. We have sanctions on Iran, we have sanctions
- 10:27Speaker 2: on their oil. They're not being enforced, so they're worthless.
- 10:30Speaker 3: So a simple question anytime you hear a talking head
- 10:33Speaker 3: saying that, why when Trump left the office was Iran
- 10:38Speaker 3: selling three hundred thousand barrels a day of oil? And
- 10:42Speaker 3: why today are they selling two million barrels of oil
- 10:45Speaker 3: a day. So the way they're selling it is they
- 10:48Speaker 3: have a ghost fleet of tankers, tankers that are not flagged,
- 10:51Speaker 3: that are surreptitiously bringing the oil from Iran to China.
- 10:55Speaker 3: And this administration is not going after the ghost fleet.
- 10:58Speaker 3: It's not vigorously enforced the sanctions. And the reason it's
- 11:01Speaker 3: not is this administration desperately wants a new Iran deal,
- 11:05Speaker 3: and so they're bending over backwards to give Iran everything
- 11:08Speaker 3: they want because they want an Iran deal and they're willing.
- 11:11Speaker 3: Iran is funding Hamas, who carried out October seventh. Iran
- 11:14Speaker 3: is funding Hesbela, who is attacking Israel every day. Iran
- 11:18Speaker 3: is actively attacking US servicemen and women in the Middle
- 11:22Speaker 3: East right now today, and Iran is actively trying to
- 11:25Speaker 3: murder Donald Trump. And yet Joe Biden and Kamala Harris,
- 11:29Speaker 3: they are sending Iran billions of dollars principally through not
- 11:33Speaker 3: enforcing the oil sanctions, but they are providing the funding
- 11:37Speaker 3: for the hit men who are targeting Donald Trump.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Now, if you want to hear the rest of this conversation,
- 11:43Speaker 2: you can go back and listen to the full podcast
- 11:46Speaker 2: from earlier this week.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Now onto story number two.
- 11:50Speaker 3: You know, there was another moment on the same topic
- 11:53Speaker 3: of the border where Tim Waltz said the most brazen
- 11:57Speaker 3: lie of the entire debate, and when Waltz was back
- 12:02Speaker 3: pedaling and trying to defend the disaster of Kamala's open borders,
- 12:05Speaker 3: Tim Waltz said, quote, border crossings are down compared to
- 12:11Speaker 3: when Donald Trump left office.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Yeah, now, which is a lie. And you and I
- 12:16Speaker 1: both are looking at the TV like that that's not true.
- 12:18Speaker 3: That that is not slightly true, it's not kind of true.
- 12:24Speaker 3: It's not in any way. And let me give you
- 12:25Speaker 3: the stats. So in December twenty twenty, the total encounters
- 12:30Speaker 3: with illegals was eighty nine thousand and seventy two. In
- 12:34Speaker 3: August twenty twenty four, the total encounters was one hundred
- 12:39Speaker 3: and fifty eighty nine hundred and eighty eight, so it
- 12:42Speaker 3: was nearly twice as many. And and mind you, look,
- 12:45Speaker 3: there's been a slight dip in the last couple of
- 12:48Speaker 3: months because Biden and Harris are trying to pretend to
- 12:51Speaker 3: do something about the border, and they're just doing it
- 12:53Speaker 3: as electioneering. And to put it in, in all of
- 12:57Speaker 3: fiscal year twenty twenty, do you know how many encounters
- 13:00Speaker 3: with illegals there were under Trump? How many six hundred
- 13:03Speaker 3: and forty six, eight hundred and twenty two.
- 13:06Speaker 1: That's like a month in this administration.
- 13:08Speaker 3: In fiscal year twenty four year to date. And by
- 13:10Speaker 3: the way, we're not all the way through twenty four.
- 13:13Speaker 3: Do you know how many there're been?
- 13:14Speaker 1: How many?
- 13:15Speaker 3: Two million, seven hundred and fifty six thousand, six hundred
- 13:17Speaker 3: and forty six. Yeah, And by the way, these these
- 13:21Speaker 3: brave fact checkers, did you notice the CBS cut off
- 13:26Speaker 3: anybody's They say, wait a second, Governor, you just said
- 13:30Speaker 3: that border encounters were lower now than they were under Trump.
- 13:35Speaker 3: That is flat out false. They didn't say that because
- 13:40Speaker 3: they're not in the business of fact checking democrats.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Well, and they also didn't bring up something else that
- 13:45Speaker 2: I actually thought.
- 13:46Speaker 1: There's a missopportunity.
- 13:47Speaker 2: I think JD had a great night, but I wish
- 13:49Speaker 2: you would have seized on this. The acting ICE Director
- 13:54Speaker 2: put out all of these numbers that we've talked about here, yes,
- 13:57Speaker 2: about the number of rapists that were go that we
- 14:00Speaker 2: knew were rapists, the number of murders that were let go,
- 14:03Speaker 2: and the number of those that had been charged with
- 14:05Speaker 2: Haines's crimes, and we still let go into this country.
- 14:09Speaker 2: And that didn't see the light of day tonight. And
- 14:12Speaker 2: it's again it goes back to the moderators, like it's
- 14:14Speaker 2: shame on them for not actually talking about the Acting
- 14:18Speaker 2: ICE Director saying this when they're going to talk about
- 14:20Speaker 2: the border.
- 14:21Speaker 1: How do you talk about the border without that? But
- 14:23Speaker 1: I do.
- 14:23Speaker 2: And again, it's debating's tough, and I want to be clear,
- 14:26Speaker 2: it's tough, But there was a missed opportunity there. I'm
- 14:30Speaker 2: shocked that JAD didn't really try to hammer that that
- 14:32Speaker 2: point home.
- 14:33Speaker 3: Yeah. Look, look, I think JD did a very good
- 14:35Speaker 3: job tonight. I was surprised that the thirteen thousand convicted
- 14:40Speaker 3: murderers did not come up. It's such a powerful number,
- 14:44Speaker 3: and CBS hasn't covered it, the news hasn't covered it,
- 14:47Speaker 3: and so this debate was an opportunity for That's actually
- 14:51Speaker 3: something that I wish that like it had been slowly explained,
- 14:56Speaker 3: that they'd taken a little bit of time. You need
- 14:58Speaker 3: to understand that right now today, there are more than
- 15:03Speaker 3: thirteen thousand illegal aliens who are free, who have not
- 15:09Speaker 3: been apprehended, who are convicted murderers. There is nothing whatsoever
- 15:16Speaker 3: stopping Kamala Harris from picking up all thirteen thousand of
- 15:20Speaker 3: them tomorrow. Legally, she has every right to do so.
- 15:25Speaker 3: They are here illegally, they can be detained, they can
- 15:27Speaker 3: be deported. And yet and there are another two thousand
- 15:31Speaker 3: roughly illegal aliens who have pending murder charges, so they're
- 15:37Speaker 3: being charged with murder, and you know what, they're free too.
- 15:41Speaker 3: There is nothing zero preventing Kamala Harris from picking up
- 15:46Speaker 3: those two thousand, and I would have loved to see
- 15:48Speaker 3: JD turn to Tim Wattson and say, Governor, why doesn't
- 15:52Speaker 3: Kamala Harris pick up those fifteen thousand murderers right now,
- 15:57Speaker 3: And what would you say to the mother of the
- 16:00Speaker 3: children murdered by these illegal alien murderers that you continue
- 16:05Speaker 3: to allow on the street. Yeah, he wouldn't have an
- 16:07Speaker 3: answer to that.
- 16:08Speaker 1: No, he wouldn't have an answer to that.
- 16:09Speaker 2: And look again, like I said, debating is hard, and
- 16:12Speaker 2: I think one of the things that he did really
- 16:13Speaker 2: well was he talked about the fact that people are
- 16:18Speaker 2: suffering in this country because there's so many illegal immigrants,
- 16:20Speaker 2: and it backfired on CBS. They were talking about the
- 16:23Speaker 2: economy and they were talking about the housing crisis. It
- 16:26Speaker 2: was a little bit later in the debate. Many people,
- 16:28Speaker 2: if you didn't watch the whole debate, this was one
- 16:30Speaker 2: of those moments. I think they actually buried it on purpose.
- 16:33Speaker 2: They need to check a box, ask a question about
- 16:35Speaker 2: the about housing. But there was a moment there where JD.
- 16:38Speaker 2: Van sees on like, well, yeah, of course home prices
- 16:41Speaker 2: are going to be up. Let you let fifteen to
- 16:43Speaker 2: twenty million people in this country. They got to have
- 16:46Speaker 2: a roof over their head at night. They're competing with you,
- 16:48Speaker 2: especially for low cost housing and apartments, which is skyrocket and.
- 16:52Speaker 3: Price undoubtedly, and CBS really beclowned themselves on this because
- 16:57Speaker 3: because one of the moderators chimed in and said, well,
- 16:59Speaker 3: do you have any evidence of that? What proof do
- 17:01Speaker 3: you have of that? And JD, to his credit, was
- 17:04Speaker 3: prepared and said, well, actually, there's a Federal Reserve study
- 17:06Speaker 3: that lays out the impact of illegal immigration driving up
- 17:09Speaker 3: the cost of housing, and we'll put that out on
- 17:11Speaker 3: social media right now so you can go read the study.
- 17:14Speaker 3: But he also made the point of just supply and demand.
- 17:17Speaker 3: What do you think an additional eleven and a half
- 17:19Speaker 3: million people is going to be bending housing is going
- 17:22Speaker 3: to do? Do you do these houses magically get created
- 17:25Speaker 3: from the sky? Is there a wand that makes makes
- 17:28Speaker 3: them come into existence? And the moderators just didn't like
- 17:33Speaker 3: that point, and and so they they were, but they
- 17:37Speaker 3: looked pretty silly when they asked if he had any
- 17:38Speaker 3: evidence and the answer was well, yes, I.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Love The other day on TV they were talking about
- 17:42Speaker 2: the price of hotels in New York City of skyrocketed. Yeah,
- 17:45Speaker 2: because I think it's like one out of x summer
- 17:48Speaker 2: of every hotels is filled with illegal immigrants. They're taking
- 17:51Speaker 2: away hotel room of course, so then they get more
- 17:54Speaker 2: for the hotel rooms that are available you and I
- 17:58Speaker 2: I don't even know if did you know I got
- 18:00Speaker 2: stranded in New York City and there wasn't a single
- 18:03Speaker 2: hotel room after we came back from the airport, Did
- 18:06Speaker 2: I tell you this? So this is how bad it is.
- 18:08Speaker 2: And this is when I learned, like really firsthand. I
- 18:11Speaker 2: went the airport, was on the plane, was on the
- 18:13Speaker 2: plane for like four hours. They finally cancel the fight.
- 18:16Speaker 2: We pulled back up the gate and they say go
- 18:17Speaker 2: back in the city. So immediately get on the phone.
- 18:19Speaker 2: I call Fox. I'm there for TV. I'm like, hey,
- 18:21Speaker 2: I'm going to need a hotel room. And I got
- 18:23Speaker 2: to get back to the city. And then I get
- 18:24Speaker 2: into a fight back in the morning to Houston, and
- 18:26Speaker 2: she was like, no problem, I'll caite in a minute,
- 18:29Speaker 2: go ahead and head down the cars and we'll get
- 18:30Speaker 2: you back to the city. She said, I've never seen
- 18:32Speaker 2: this before. There's not a single hotel room in the city.
- 18:36Speaker 2: And I'm like not. And it wasn't like there was
- 18:39Speaker 2: like the Super Bowl going on. This is a normal
- 18:41Speaker 2: Tuesday in New York And I was like, are you kidding. Well,
- 18:44Speaker 2: then I open up my app and I'm like I
- 18:46Speaker 2: get on Expedia, there are no hotel rooms. They start
- 18:49Speaker 2: looking in New Jersey, They're looking everywhere. Finally, the only
- 18:53Speaker 2: option was to go back to the city and hope
- 18:55Speaker 2: that someone doesn't come to a hotel room. I sat
- 18:59Speaker 2: outside of the hotel I always stay at, know the manager,
- 19:02Speaker 2: and I walked in. He's like Ben, He's like, this
- 19:04Speaker 2: is because of all the illegal immigrants in the city.
- 19:06Speaker 2: He goes, there's no hotel rooms to deal with a capacity.
- 19:09Speaker 2: I set outside to one in the morning until finally
- 19:12Speaker 2: someone canceled the hotel and then he checked me into
- 19:15Speaker 2: that room at one o'clock. So I sat there from
- 19:16Speaker 2: seven to one am. My fight was at six and mornings.
- 19:19Speaker 2: I slept for like three hours. And he said, this
- 19:22Speaker 2: is what they've done to our city, referring to the
- 19:23Speaker 2: illegal immigrants and how many have come in. And when
- 19:27Speaker 2: I say there was an it was there was not
- 19:29Speaker 2: a hotel room in the city. That's what's happening now
- 19:32Speaker 2: because of legal immigration. Senator, I want to talk and
- 19:36Speaker 2: wrap on the issue of style. You know, you and
- 19:39Speaker 2: I both thought this was going to be a intense debate.
- 19:43Speaker 2: They don't like each other. They're going to throw down.
- 19:45Speaker 2: I think We're also gotten kind of used to that
- 19:46Speaker 2: with Donald Trump. That's what we've seen over the last
- 19:49Speaker 2: several years. Joe Biden likes to do that as well.
- 19:52Speaker 2: We've seen a lot of the Republican debates. Primary debates
- 19:55Speaker 2: didn't by the way Hillary and Trump was nasty. They
- 19:57Speaker 2: were nasty. Oh yeah, I mean they threw down, and
- 20:01Speaker 2: tonight I didn't. I did enjoy a little bit of civility, absolutely,
- 20:06Speaker 2: and that was something we haven't seen. But I also
- 20:10Speaker 2: think if it was a strategy by the by the
- 20:12Speaker 2: Trump team, Hey you're gonna be the likable guy. You're
- 20:15Speaker 2: gonna try to bring more people into the tent. I
- 20:18Speaker 2: want you to walk away really thinking that you're the
- 20:21Speaker 2: right choice.
- 20:22Speaker 1: They nailed it. If that was the intent tonight.
- 20:26Speaker 3: Yeah, Look, I think JD came across as as real
- 20:28Speaker 3: and relatable. He did a good job of telling his
- 20:32Speaker 3: own family story and his own background, I mean his
- 20:36Speaker 3: you know, he wrote a best selling book Hill Billy LG.
- 20:39Speaker 3: Was made into a movie, a very very good movie,
- 20:43Speaker 3: a movie that's terrific to watch, and but yet a
- 20:46Speaker 3: lot of people don't know that story. He's been a
- 20:48Speaker 3: caricatured just like Trump has, and and I think tonight
- 20:53Speaker 3: made real progress, making him seem like a real person,
- 20:57Speaker 3: seem like a husband and a father, and and you know,
- 21:00Speaker 3: someone who has journeyed from very humble beginnings to right
- 21:08Speaker 3: now being the nominee to be vice president of the
- 21:10Speaker 3: United States, that's one heck of a journey.
- 21:12Speaker 2: As before, if you want to hear the rest of
- 21:14Speaker 2: this conversation on this topic, you can go back and
- 21:17Speaker 2: dow the podcasts from earlier this week to hear the
- 21:20Speaker 2: entire thing. I want to get back to the big
- 21:23Speaker 2: story number three of the week. You may have missed, Riley,
- 21:26Speaker 2: you mentioned all American in a moment ago that you
- 21:28Speaker 2: know that the girls that were crying and the mothers
- 21:30Speaker 2: and the dads were crying because they were one shot
- 21:34Speaker 2: out right, one spot out of an incredible, prestigious award.
- 21:38Speaker 2: When you talk about shaving time and then this advantage
- 21:41Speaker 2: that he has over you, what was the difference between
- 21:45Speaker 2: first place in tenth place when it talks about when
- 21:48Speaker 2: you're talking about shaving seconds or tents of seconds off, like,
- 21:51Speaker 2: I don't think people understand just how close it is
- 21:54Speaker 2: at the elite level.
- 21:56Speaker 5: Yeah, again, tens of seconds, that's how much you're even
- 22:01Speaker 5: in the fifty freestyle, for example, it's first place to
- 22:06Speaker 5: sixteenth place, which is what qualifies of being an All
- 22:09Speaker 5: American top sixteen in the country, it's tenths of a second.
- 22:14Speaker 3: Now we're seeing this not just in swimming. We're seeing
- 22:17Speaker 3: this in sport after sport after sport. Right now, it's
- 22:20Speaker 3: become an issue with San Jose State Volleyball, where there's
- 22:23Speaker 3: a biological man who's playing on the women's volleyball team,
- 22:26Speaker 3: and there have now been multiple women's teams that have
- 22:30Speaker 3: refused to play. Give us your reaction to that, having
- 22:34Speaker 3: competed in a different sport but at the same elite level.
- 22:38Speaker 5: Well, first, this is the first time we have seen
- 22:42Speaker 5: something like this, a movement in motion where teams are
- 22:47Speaker 5: standing in unity together saying we won't allow this to happen.
- 22:52Speaker 3: Enough is enough.
- 22:53Speaker 5: You're not going to continue to discriminate against us on
- 22:56Speaker 5: the basis of our sex, which is of course everything
- 22:59Speaker 5: that TI nine was passed originally to prevent from happening.
- 23:04Speaker 5: As you described San Jose State University, they allowed a
- 23:07Speaker 5: man onto their team to take a scholarship. He's taken
- 23:11Speaker 5: a roster spot, he has taken when they travel you
- 23:14Speaker 5: know that travel spot that rightfully belongs to a girl,
- 23:18Speaker 5: to a woman. But in talking with and working with
- 23:22Speaker 5: these presidents of these other Mountain West Conference schools like,
- 23:26Speaker 5: for example, Southern Utah, Boise State, followed by University of Wyoming,
- 23:31Speaker 5: and most recently just last night, Utah State, these four
- 23:35Speaker 5: schools have said, hey, we're not going to compete against
- 23:38Speaker 5: this team. The universities, of course haven't specifically cited a reason,
- 23:43Speaker 5: but I can tell you in talking to these teams,
- 23:46Speaker 5: these girls are fearful of their safety. They understand, Look,
- 23:51Speaker 5: we know we're going to take a lot, that's what
- 23:54Speaker 5: it means when you forfeit a match. But this is
- 23:57Speaker 5: a worthy cause. We don't want to be on the receiver.
- 24:00Speaker 5: I've seen this boy give career ending concussions to girls,
- 24:05Speaker 5: and so they cite safety concerns these women for not
- 24:08Speaker 5: feeling comfortable to play. And I'll tell you there's more
- 24:11Speaker 5: schools in the pipeline coming up who will soon also
- 24:14Speaker 5: cancel their games against San Jose State University.
- 24:17Speaker 3: Well, and the risks of physical safety, particularly in sports
- 24:21Speaker 3: that have more and more direct contact, whether you're dealing
- 24:24Speaker 3: with volleyball and someone spiking the ball into your face,
- 24:28Speaker 3: or a sport like basketball, or we saw at the
- 24:31Speaker 3: Olympics so called women's boxing with biolet logical males competing.
- 24:37Speaker 3: Give us your thoughts on the risks of really serious
- 24:40Speaker 3: injury that can happen when you have biological males engaged
- 24:44Speaker 3: in direct physical violence in a sport against women.
- 24:50Speaker 5: Well, I'm not even going to give you my thoughts.
- 24:52Speaker 5: I'll tell you exactly what is happening. I'm going to
- 24:55Speaker 5: give you factual information here. Let's look, for example, at
- 24:58Speaker 5: Peyton McNabb, a high school senior she was at the
- 25:01Speaker 5: time in North Carolina, a similar situation. Actually, it's the
- 25:06Speaker 5: sport of ball, a volleyball. A man on the opposing team,
- 25:09Speaker 5: he jumps up, he spikes, the ball, hits her in
- 25:11Speaker 5: the face. She's knocked unconscious where she lays for many
- 25:14Speaker 5: minutes before you know, finally coming back around. Still to
- 25:18Speaker 5: this day, that was two years ago. That was September
- 25:20Speaker 5: of twenty twenty two, so over two years ago. Still
- 25:23Speaker 5: to this day, she's partially paralyzed on her right side.
- 25:27Speaker 5: Her vision is impaired, her memory is impaired. She has
- 25:29Speaker 5: to have special accommodations for testing at school because she
- 25:33Speaker 5: can't retain information like she once could. She was supposed
- 25:36Speaker 5: to play softball in college, but because of this brain injury,
- 25:40Speaker 5: she will not go on to do that. She just
- 25:42Speaker 5: had part of her pituitary gland removed out of her
- 25:45Speaker 5: brain because of how traumatic the head injury was. Let's
- 25:49Speaker 5: look for or look at for example, what we saw
- 25:52Speaker 5: at ed a high school in Massachusetts where a male
- 25:56Speaker 5: was allowed to play field hockey with the girls. Again,
- 26:00Speaker 5: the girls and this boy. He slaps a shot at
- 26:03Speaker 5: the women's one of the women on the field. It
- 26:05Speaker 5: hits her in the face, in the mouth, and it
- 26:07Speaker 5: knocks all her teeth out. Even she had to undergo reconstruction,
- 26:10Speaker 5: facial reconstruction surgery to reconstruct her jaw. This male player,
- 26:16Speaker 5: he's given career and in concussions to girls. Like I said,
- 26:20Speaker 5: most recently, we saw him hit a woman in the
- 26:23Speaker 5: face from University of Delaware to where she doesn't even
- 26:25Speaker 5: have time to defend herself. Okay, like there was no
- 26:29Speaker 5: reaction time for her that would have been able to
- 26:33Speaker 5: prevent this hit from hitting her in the head. The
- 26:36Speaker 5: list goes on. We saw recently even what the Olympics
- 26:39Speaker 5: has done. The IOC allowed two men, two plural males,
- 26:45Speaker 5: to compete in women's boxing, which naturally these both of
- 26:50Speaker 5: these men went on to win gold medals in their
- 26:53Speaker 5: respective weight divisions, and one of the female boxers who
- 26:55Speaker 5: fought against this boxer, one of the male boxers, said
- 26:59Speaker 5: she had never been punched that forcefully, that hard in
- 27:03Speaker 5: her entire life. She said, this was nothing a punch
- 27:07Speaker 5: that a woman could throw.
- 27:09Speaker 3: How is this remotely fair? In what universe? Is this
- 27:14Speaker 3: even arguably fair?
- 27:17Speaker 5: Well, it's absolutely not. And I'll tell you the people
- 27:22Speaker 5: who are lobbying for this, who are voting in favor
- 27:24Speaker 5: of this, who are advocating for this, they don't even
- 27:27Speaker 5: believe it. Even recently, Senator Cruz, when I testified actually
- 27:31Speaker 5: before your committee, I had some of your colleagues from
- 27:34Speaker 5: across the aisle come up to me before the hearing
- 27:37Speaker 5: and say, hey, look, you know, I played football at Stanford.
- 27:41Speaker 5: I totally get where you're coming from. I totally agree.
- 27:44Speaker 5: And then gets on the other side of the table
- 27:46Speaker 5: and what.
- 27:46Speaker 3: Does he do.
- 27:47Speaker 5: He starts grilling me and sympathizes with those on the
- 27:52Speaker 5: other side, not the women. So they don't believe this.
- 27:57Speaker 5: They're again just cowards, and they know. That's why one.
- 28:02Speaker 5: You have been incredible on many issues outside of the
- 28:06Speaker 5: gender ideology movement, but your opponent here in your state.
- 28:12Speaker 5: I was so enthused to see this ad come out recently.
- 28:17Speaker 5: It was so powerful, it was so effective. If the
- 28:20Speaker 5: people listening haven't seen it, go watch it. I've reposted
- 28:23Speaker 5: on my page. It's this perfect depiction, and that the
- 28:26Speaker 5: very even if you just watched the last ten seconds,
- 28:29Speaker 5: you see a man in a jersey with al right
- 28:33Speaker 5: on the back of it, and he tramples a young girl,
- 28:38Speaker 5: and that is the message, perfectly depicted. That is the
- 28:41Speaker 5: message that we are receiving and that people are voting for.
- 28:47Speaker 5: That's what you're getting if you vote for someone who
- 28:50Speaker 5: advances these progressive and harmful policies.
- 28:54Speaker 3: Let me ask you. You've gone to a number of
- 28:56Speaker 3: campuses and you've spoken out, and I admire your courage
- 28:59Speaker 3: because you've had some really unpleasant receptions and threats of
- 29:05Speaker 3: violence against you. Describe a little bit what you've experienced
- 29:09Speaker 3: as a consequence of speaking out against this.
- 29:13Speaker 5: Well, I was just actually explaining to Ben I'm actually
- 29:17Speaker 5: a University of Texas and Austin's campus today, and I'll
- 29:22Speaker 5: tell you there was some minor heckling, but for the
- 29:25Speaker 5: most part, was very well received because these students are
- 29:30Speaker 5: desperate to hear the truth, to be honest with you,
- 29:33Speaker 5: they've been denied it from their universities, from these you know,
- 29:36Speaker 5: institutional academic institutions. They've been denied the truth through censorship
- 29:42Speaker 5: and other things. And so I had a great reception tonight.
- 29:45Speaker 5: But you're right, I have been in scenarios where I
- 29:49Speaker 5: have not been overly well received. One, for example, is
- 29:52Speaker 5: San Francisco State University where I mean I was accosted,
- 29:57Speaker 5: I was ambush, I was attacked by these these protesters,
- 30:00Speaker 5: hundreds of them. They rush into the room, they turn
- 30:03Speaker 5: off the lights. They I mean, I'm being punched in
- 30:05Speaker 5: the face by these men wearing dresses, which again, they
- 30:10Speaker 5: ultimately held me for ransom for about five hours, demanding
- 30:14Speaker 5: that if I wanted to make it home to see
- 30:15Speaker 5: my family safely again, I had to pay them money.
- 30:18Speaker 5: All the while the police are being held for ransom
- 30:20Speaker 5: with me. Because remember this is San Francisco, and the
- 30:23Speaker 5: police don't know I shouldn't say they don't know how
- 30:25Speaker 5: to do their job. They just don't do their job
- 30:29Speaker 5: in this city.
- 30:31Speaker 3: Well prevented from doing it by the political leadership who
- 30:36Speaker 3: doesn't let them protect protect the rights of innocence because ideology,
- 30:42Speaker 3: Trump's actually defending people's rights and people's safety. And we
- 30:46Speaker 3: see whether it's in San Francisco or Minneapolis, or New
- 30:50Speaker 3: York or Los Angeles, we see that left wing democrats
- 30:56Speaker 3: prevent law enforcement from protecting innocence in many cases from violence.
- 31:00Speaker 3: That the ideology on the left is if if if
- 31:05Speaker 3: the violence is carried out by someone whose politics they
- 31:09Speaker 3: align with, then they're happy to look the other way
- 31:11Speaker 3: and to effectively handcuff police officers from protecting protecting the
- 31:16Speaker 3: innocent from violence.
- 31:18Speaker 5: And that's exactly what these officers said. You know, I
- 31:20Speaker 5: asked them, can't you do something, to which they said, no,
- 31:25Speaker 5: we can't. We're not allowed to do anything because we're
- 31:27Speaker 5: not allowed to be seen as anything other than an
- 31:29Speaker 5: ally to that community or else will lose their jobs. Again,
- 31:31Speaker 5: the same community who's on the other side of the
- 31:34Speaker 5: door where we were barricaded, who called these officers rac
- 31:39Speaker 5: his pigs for protecting a white girl like me. That's
- 31:42Speaker 5: who they again were almost forcibly had to side with
- 31:47Speaker 5: in this scenario.
- 31:49Speaker 3: Well, Riley, thank you for speaking out. Thank you for
- 31:52Speaker 3: speaking out not just for yourself, but but you're speaking
- 31:55Speaker 3: out for women, You're speaking out for young girls, You're
- 31:58Speaker 3: speaking out for the next generation of app athletes. You know,
- 32:00Speaker 3: Title nine transformed athletics and created opportunity for millions of
- 32:06Speaker 3: schoolgirls to compete and develop discipline and teamwork and get
- 32:10Speaker 3: all of the benefits of athletic competition. And I got
- 32:14Speaker 3: to say, the current insanity of pretending there is no
- 32:17Speaker 3: such thing as girls and boys, there is no such
- 32:19Speaker 3: thing as women and men. It really threatens the ability
- 32:23Speaker 3: of both women and girls to compete in athletics. And
- 32:27Speaker 3: I think your courage there are a lot of people
- 32:30Speaker 3: who are grateful to you, even if they don't say so.
- 32:32Speaker 3: I'm telling you there are millions of Texans and millions
- 32:35Speaker 3: of people across across the country who are grateful to you.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Riley.
- 32:38Speaker 2: As always, thank you for listening to Verdict with center,
