Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. I
• 0:05
Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
• 0:15
Speaker 1: million bucks things and the stuffing me good Steve to
• 0:25
Speaker 1: mother for st Please, I don't join jo. You gotta
• 1:01
Speaker 1: turn you are you gotta turn to turn them out?
• 1:42
Speaker 1: Turn you got to turn out, turn the water to
• 1:47
Speaker 1: the water. Go. Come come on your thing. Ah huh,
• 2:02
Speaker 1: I sure will. Good morning, everybody. Are you are listening
• 2:06
Speaker 1: to the voice, Come on dig me now, one and
• 2:09
Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay, I got
• 2:14
Speaker 1: something for you today. I'm gonna have a conversation this
• 2:21
Speaker 1: morning about my understanding of grace now that I've gotten
• 2:26
Speaker 1: older and I've come in to a better understanding of
• 2:29
  Speaker 1: a lot of things I didn't know about when I
• 2:31
Speaker 1: was younger. This is just my interpretation of grace. Now
• 2:37
  Speaker 1: once again, y'all listen to me. I ain't nobody's pastor,
• 2:42
  Speaker 1: I ain't nobody's minister. So you know, I'm pretty sure
• 2:44
Speaker 1: you can go to church and get a far more
• 2:47
Speaker 1: extensive definition of one I'm giving you. I'm just talking
• 2:50
Speaker 1: to people. You know. Grace is this thing that that
• 2:55
Speaker 1: God provides for us and Grace's just things that you
• 3:03
Speaker 1: get that's really undeserving, you know. I mean, I look
• 3:07
Speaker 1: at my life as it is today. You know. Look,
• 3:09
Speaker 1: I work hard and I have faith in God that
• 3:12
Speaker 1: I do so things are going to happen in my life.
• 3:15
Speaker 1: But the way my life is now, I don't. I don't.
• 3:19
  Speaker 1: I don't deserve all of this. I don't don't. I
• 3:21
Speaker 1: don't look at it that way. I have been the
• 3:24
Speaker 1: beneficiary of God's grace. I have aligned myself in a
• 3:29
Speaker 1: position to accept whatever grace God has for me, and
• 3:35
Speaker 1: it will be far abundant and exceedingly in anything you
• 3:39
Speaker 1: could think of. His grace supersedes anything you could possibly imagine.
• 3:46
Speaker 1: You know, the goals that I set and the aspirations
• 3:49
Speaker 1: that I shoot for, and the things that I have
• 3:50
Speaker 1: on my dream board. I have the faith that God
• 3:53
Speaker 1: give it to me. But what He does with grace,
• 3:56
Speaker 1: he gives you far more than that. He gives you
• 3:58
Speaker 1: what He has for you, not what you can see.
• 4:02
Speaker 1: You can't see all He has for you. It's impossible.
• 4:05
Speaker 1: Who are you? How can you possibly imagine what he
• 4:08
Speaker 1: can imagine? How can you possibly think? How he can think?
• 4:11
Speaker 1: How how can you possibly do what he can do.
• 4:14
Speaker 1: How can it be that isn't a single mind living
• 4:18
Speaker 1: or a collection of minds that could have thought of earth?
• 4:22
Speaker 1: What in your wildest imagination could have made you think
• 4:25
Speaker 1: of earth? The stars, the heavens, the oceans, the galaxy,
• 4:32
Speaker 1: the constellations? What in your mind? What in any man's mind?
• 4:37
Speaker 1: We can point at it and analyze it, but we
• 4:39
Speaker 1: show it couldn't have thought of it. So come on now,
• 4:42
Speaker 1: I'm talking about lining yourself up with God's grace, which
• 4:48
Speaker 1: he will give to you if you if you want
• 4:50
Speaker 1: some of it now. But now, his thing about grace,
• 4:53
Speaker 1: it can't be bought. If it could, if it could
• 4:55
Speaker 1: be bought, I'm telling you I would pour all the
• 5:00
Speaker 1: money I have and dump it into grace, because, after
• 5:04
Speaker 1: discovering what it is, it's this goodness that God shines
• 5:10
Speaker 1: on you simply as a reward of some type for
• 5:14
Speaker 1: his love for you and for you attempting for you,
• 5:19
Speaker 1: attempting to do right, not because you get it right.
• 5:22
Speaker 1: Because if He judged us purely on how we are
• 5:25
Speaker 1: the right and wrong of it, we would all be doomed,
• 5:29
Speaker 1: all of us, every last one of us would be doomed,
• 5:34
Speaker 1: because we all fall short, we all make mistakes, we
• 5:38
Speaker 1: all sin, we all get it wrong from time to time.
• 5:42
Speaker 1: Nobody's perfect. Man. Now I understand what my mother was
• 5:46
Speaker 1: saying about cleaning the house. All I want is a
• 5:50
Speaker 1: little more grace. All I need is a little more
• 5:53
Speaker 1: grace when the last time you ask God for some grace. Now,
• 5:56
Speaker 1: I'm not talking to you like I know everything. If
• 6:00
Speaker 1: you just benefit from His grace, which you already have,
• 6:04
Speaker 1: but if you're not aware of it, you don't know
• 6:06
Speaker 1: what's going on. Become aware of grace, Get aware of
• 6:10
Speaker 1: the fact that God does things for you simply because
• 6:13
Speaker 1: He loves you. He does things for you that you
• 6:16
Speaker 1: don't even deserve. Somehow, you just wonder how you just
• 6:19
Speaker 1: got over when you didn't even do the things to
• 6:22
Speaker 1: get over. Sometimes you don't even know how you got
• 6:26
Speaker 1: that job you got when you ain't even really do
• 6:29
Speaker 1: the things to get the job. How you end up
• 6:31
Speaker 1: where you are all education you thought you went and
• 6:34
Speaker 1: got and had, How you end up where you are
• 6:36
Speaker 1: today in a much better position than your education could
• 6:39
Speaker 1: have ever gotten you. That's grace. How I get every
• 6:44
Speaker 1: place I am today. I didn't plan this, man. If
• 6:47
Speaker 1: I could have planned my life, the way it is.
• 6:49
Speaker 1: Don't you know how to have have done it? When I
• 6:50
Speaker 1: was living in that car? If I knew how to
• 6:52
Speaker 1: do it, No, I benefited from his grace. I'm just
• 6:56
Speaker 1: a beneficiary of his grace, of his goodness and his mercy.
• 7:02
Speaker 1: God's goodness is better than your goodness. God's goodness is
• 7:06
Speaker 1: better than your mother's goodness. It's better than your wife's
• 7:09
Speaker 1: or your husband or your booze goodness. God's goodness is different.
• 7:15
Speaker 1: His goodness man covers some stuff you can't even imagine.
• 7:20
Speaker 1: So why are you trying to put your life together
• 7:22
Speaker 1: when the last time you asked him for just a
• 7:24
Speaker 1: little bit of grace? When have you thought of your
• 7:29
Speaker 1: life in terms of the grace that it has already
• 7:32
Speaker 1: benefited from? Have you ever done that? Man? Just thought
• 7:36
Speaker 1: about you know? You hear songs like my soul look
• 7:39
Speaker 1: back and wonder how I got over. That's grace. That's
• 7:42
Speaker 1: all I can call it. Now. Like I say, you
• 7:44
Speaker 1: can go at church or somewhere ever you want to
• 7:46
Speaker 1: and ministers that the wind at school to teach this
• 7:49
Speaker 1: thing way better than me. I'm just giving you from
• 7:51
Speaker 1: a layman standpoint. Man, have you thought about his grace?
• 7:55
Speaker 1: Would you not bewailed to be a beneficiary of his grace?
• 7:59
Speaker 1: Would it not say? Now, check this out. The better
• 8:02
Speaker 1: you try to do, the more grace he'll give to you.
• 8:06
Speaker 1: And that grace can't be bought, Like I said, it's free.
• 8:09
Speaker 1: You can't purchase grace. But the better you try to become,
• 8:14
Speaker 1: the more the more grace he gets to put your way.
• 8:18
Speaker 1: So man, just try, why don't you just try to
• 8:21
Speaker 1: do better? Look, man, quick tip. Mind, I'm gonna start
• 8:24
Speaker 1: next week. I'm gonna start at the new year. Now
• 8:26
Speaker 1: you now you do that every year, you know the
• 8:28
Speaker 1: ems at the new year, we eat better at the
• 8:30
Speaker 1: new year. I'm gonna I'm gonna gonna get in here
• 8:33
Speaker 1: and the new year. If you're gonna do it, you're
• 8:35
Speaker 1: gonna do it now. Man, you're gonna do not stop
• 8:38
Speaker 1: trying to do something, do it, stop talking about it,
• 8:43
Speaker 1: do it now. The best way to benefit from his
• 8:46
Speaker 1: grace is starting action now in old w now, right
• 8:52
Speaker 1: now today. What you're waiting on. All you're doing is
• 8:56
Speaker 1: delaying his opportunity to bless you. You know, man, you know,
• 9:01
Speaker 1: do you know how many times we do that? We
• 9:03
Speaker 1: delay his opportunity to bless us by not starting now.
• 9:07
Speaker 1: If you're gonna get healthy, why don't you start now? Now?
• 9:10
Speaker 1: You're gonna trip a little bit called the holidays coming,
• 9:13
Speaker 1: But you ain't got to eat bad all the time.
• 9:15
Speaker 1: You could start eating correct today you could. You could
• 9:19
Speaker 1: and then guess what that could be? Some grace on
• 9:21
Speaker 1: the end of that. I'm just giving you a little
• 9:24
Speaker 1: cheap analogy. But do you feel what I'm saying to you?
• 9:27
Speaker 1: Start thinking in terms of grace? What He has done
• 9:31
Speaker 1: for you and provided for you that you ain't even
• 9:32
Speaker 1: see coming. That you know, you keep calling them blessings
• 9:35
Speaker 1: and I got that a lot of it and us
• 9:37
Speaker 1: all it is. But man, have you thought about the
• 9:39
Speaker 1: stuff that didn't happen to you? You can't account for I.
• 9:44
Speaker 1: For me, that's been grace and I'm beneficiary of it.
• 9:47
Speaker 1: And that's available to everybody that won'ts. So next time
• 9:51
Speaker 1: you're talking to him, just check in with grace. See
• 9:53
Speaker 1: what that is. That's that's better than money. You're listening
• 9:57

• 13:34
Speaker 1: ain't gonna make it. Coming up next we're gonna do
• 13:38
Speaker 1: a little ass the CLO with the Chief Love Officer
• 13:40
Speaker 1: Steve Harvey in the building. Right after this, you're listening
• 13:44
Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show time. Now for ask the clo.
• 13:49
Speaker 1: Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey is in the building. This
• 13:53
Speaker 1: one CLO is from Felicia in Philly. Felicia says, I'm
• 13:57
Speaker 1: twenty eight years old and my father is only fifteen
• 13:59
Speaker 1: years old older than me, and that's a problem. My
• 14:02
Speaker 1: mother is the same age as he, but she asks
• 14:06
Speaker 1: her age. My father is everywhere I go, dating women
• 14:11
Speaker 1: my age and still getting in fights in the club.
• 14:14
Speaker 1: He's childish and ghetto, so I try to steer clear
• 14:17
Speaker 1: of him in public. He got arrested last week for
• 14:20
Speaker 1: public intoxication and I went to pick him up from
• 14:23
Speaker 1: jail and he smelled like weed. Is there any way
• 14:27
Speaker 1: to make him grow up? Oh? That jail usually does it.
• 14:34
Speaker 1: Jail quick jail, Lisa asked, whooping thanks like this? So
• 14:41
Speaker 1: I don't really know that there's anything that you can do,
• 14:44
Speaker 1: per se, because this is some stuff that's lacking in him,
• 14:48
Speaker 1: and I don't think that you can provide it for
• 14:50
Speaker 1: him as a twenty eight year old female. The only
• 14:53
Speaker 1: suggestion I have is to go to him and have
• 14:56
Speaker 1: a heart to heart and say, you're my dad. I
• 14:59
Speaker 1: love you. Your an embarrassment to me, and I wish
• 15:02
Speaker 1: you would be act more like a father than try
• 15:05
Speaker 1: to act like a peer. I don't want to see
• 15:08
Speaker 1: you in the club. I don't want you embarrassing me.
• 15:11
Speaker 1: Would you focus on being my father before you ruin
• 15:14
Speaker 1: our relationship. That's the only thing I could say. You
• 15:17
Speaker 1: might contrive, all right, selo, thank you? Oh all right.
• 15:22
Speaker 1: Spears in New Orleans says, I'm in my mid thirties
• 15:25
Speaker 1: and I'm balding early, so I need your advice. I'm
• 15:30
Speaker 1: a fairly large man, and I wear a lot of
• 15:32
Speaker 1: hats to hide my thinning hair. I'm not secure enough
• 15:36
Speaker 1: in my looks to go ahead and cut off all
• 15:38
Speaker 1: my hair. Steve, I know you, Tommy and Jay are
• 15:41
Speaker 1: all bald and you have nice shaped heads. If I
• 15:45
Speaker 1: cut off my hair, I will look like mister potato head.
• 15:48
Speaker 1: What inspired you to go bald? How can I get
• 15:51
Speaker 1: that kind of confidence? Well, first of all, Spears, let
• 15:54
Speaker 1: me help you out with. So you're thirty, you're not
• 15:59
Speaker 1: comfortable with where you look, and you've got a little overweight.
• 16:04
Speaker 1: So now use the big fat ball head ugly ass man.
• 16:09
Speaker 1: Where does that say that? It's in the letter and
• 16:11
Speaker 1: it's hidden. You have to know how to do this. Now,
• 16:14
Speaker 1: I'm been fairly large man, fairly large. That's fat age.
• 16:18
Speaker 1: When when a man saying I'm fairly large, what we're
• 16:22
Speaker 1: saying an interpretation for a man is my ass is fat.
• 16:27
  Speaker 1: I'm a fact. There's nothing wrong with that. It's how
• 16:31
Speaker 1: we are as men. You can't solve problems unless you
• 16:34
Speaker 1: admit you have one. Now, he's not attractive. He didn't
• 16:40
Speaker 1: say that. What what reading Readok? There you go right there?
• 16:48
Speaker 1: What that means, Shirley, I'm not secure? What that's ugly?
• 16:56
Speaker 1: That's what that is. See. I know what he's going
• 17:00
Speaker 1: through because I did it. Listen to me, Spears, I
• 17:03
Speaker 1: was not secure in my looks cause I was. I was.
• 17:09
Speaker 1: I was ugly. I still am technically, but I have
• 17:15
Speaker 1: fixed myself at the bank. I have fixed myself where
• 17:19
Speaker 1: I'm perfectly comfortable with my fat, ugly age. Now listen
• 17:26
Speaker 1: to me before this ball spot start doing some things
• 17:30
Speaker 1: you don't want it to do. Spears, let it go,
• 17:33
Speaker 1: don't fight it. Don't fight this. Am I right, Jake,
• 17:39
Speaker 1: You're not going to win this fight. That bald is undefeated. Okay,
• 17:46
Speaker 1: they have never lost. The matter ball has never lost.
• 17:55
Speaker 1: Baldness has no cure even buy rogue. Ain't all you
• 18:00
Speaker 1: want to You ain't been due. Have a little fuzz
• 18:02
Speaker 1: in the top of your head. Dog, shave your head,
• 18:08
Speaker 1: suck your stomach, get your first of all dolphin. Get
• 18:11
Speaker 1: in the gym. You could do something about that. Get
• 18:14
Speaker 1: in the gym. Watch what you eat. You a eighty
• 18:17
Speaker 1: twenty died man, eighty percent healthy, twenty percent do like
• 18:21
Speaker 1: you want to. One hundred and fifty minutes of cardio
• 18:24
Speaker 1: a week. One hundred and fifty minutes of cardio a week.
• 18:28
Speaker 1: That's thirty minutes, five days a week. You could do that.
• 18:32
Speaker 1: Spirit easy. Yeah, don't matter how much you exercise, and
• 18:40
Speaker 1: you're gonna be unattracted at least at least man be
• 18:51
Speaker 1: cut and unattracted. Yeah, that'll get you somebody. Okay, fine,
• 18:57
Speaker 1: hopefully that'll boost your confidence spirits? And can I add
• 19:00
Speaker 1: one more thing? Yeah, if you have enough money. We
• 19:05
Speaker 1: don't know what your money thing is right now? Don't
• 19:08
Speaker 1: nobody care how much hair you got? Okay, trust you
• 19:12
Speaker 1: on that. That's all right. So Jason, since you're since
• 19:17
Speaker 1: you brought that up, why don't you go ahead? I
• 19:19
Speaker 1: know you have a question for the clo you know,
• 19:21
Speaker 1: I do you know how to do? How do you
• 19:25
Speaker 1: break loose from a lady who's paying for every damn
• 19:29
Speaker 1: thing everything you own, but you just don't like the relationship.
• 19:34
Speaker 1: How do you break away? There's an old say yeah,
• 19:39
Speaker 1: and I want you every man to listen to this. Okay,
• 19:44
Speaker 1: you can't snatch your head out the lines mouth? What
• 19:51
Speaker 1: does that mean? That down? You can't don't don't snatch
• 19:56
Speaker 1: your head out the lines money. If your head is
• 19:58
Speaker 1: in the line's mouth, you got to ease it out.
• 20:02
Speaker 1: Don't jerk cause it bite down. Yeah, is in trouble.
• 20:08
Speaker 1: You can't. You cannot snatch your head out the lions mouth.

• 33:14
Speaker 1: thank you very much, and good morning everyone. On this
• 33:16
Speaker 1: Friday morning. Tornadoes killed at least five people yesterday in Alabama,
• 33:21
Speaker 1: and at least fourteen thousand people are without power this morning,
• 33:24
Speaker 1: all of them in Calhoun County that's just a little
• 33:27
Speaker 1: south of Birmingham. There may be more twistra activity, according
• 33:30
Speaker 1: to forecasts in the area anywhere from Mississippi to Georgia
• 33:33
Speaker 1: to Tennessee in Kentucky. So everybody in that area on
• 33:37
Speaker 1: pins and needles this morning, and we certainly pray for them.
• 33:40
Speaker 1: President Biden held his first news conference yesterday since becoming
• 33:43
Speaker 1: commander in chief. Entity announced a newer any even the
• 33:45
Speaker 1: more ambitious of COVID vaccination goal, two hundred million Americans
• 33:49
Speaker 1: inoculated by the conclusion of his first one hundred days
• 33:51
Speaker 1: in office. Mister Biden's first day to Goo, you may remember,
• 33:54
Speaker 1: was to have one hundred million people given at least
• 33:57
Speaker 1: one shot within a hundred days, but that feat was
• 33:59
Speaker 1: accomplished early. The President also says he intends to attack
• 34:02
Speaker 1: the problems of climate change, gun control, immigration reform, and
• 34:06
Speaker 1: the crumbling or inadequate infrastructure we've got in this country,
• 34:09
Speaker 1: which he says directly affects the ability and the availability
• 34:12
Speaker 1: of good paying jobs, which he plans to address later today.
• 34:16
Speaker 1: By the way, in Pittsburgh, what's the first thing the
• 34:17
Speaker 1: business asked, what's the close access to the Interstate Highway?
• 34:21
Speaker 1: How far am I from freight rail? There's enough water
• 34:24
Speaker 1: available for me to conduct my business. All the things
• 34:27
Speaker 1: that relate to infrastructure that's right, and mister Biden reacted
• 34:31
Speaker 1: strongly by the Way over word that the Republican dominated
• 34:34
Speaker 1: Georgia legislature had passed extremely restrictive voting laws and how
• 34:39
Speaker 1: many other state lawmakers are planning to do the same thing.
• 34:41
Speaker 1: He called it all sick. It's sick. It's sick. Deciding
• 34:46
Speaker 1: in some states that you cannot bring water to people
• 34:51
Speaker 1: standing in line waiting to vote, Deciding that you're going
• 34:55
Speaker 1: to end voting at five o'clock when working people are
• 34:58
Speaker 1: just getting off work, Deciding that there will be no
• 35:02
Speaker 1: absentee ballots under the most rigid circumstances. The Republican voters
• 35:08
Speaker 1: I know find this despicable. Republican voters. I'm not talking
• 35:13
Speaker 1: about the elected officials. I'm talking about voters. This makes
• 35:17
Speaker 1: Jim Crowe look like Jim eagle Man. This is gigantic
• 35:23
Speaker 1: what they're trying to do, and it cannot be sustained well.
• 35:27
Speaker 1: Officials for the Centers for Disease Controlled by the Way
• 35:30
Speaker 1: say they have now identified and gotten rid of a
• 35:33
Speaker 1: lot of guidance documents that were released by the Trump
• 35:35
Speaker 1: administration that scientists say, we're not really based in science.
• 35:39
Speaker 1: An internal review by the CDC sites three reports issued
• 35:42
Speaker 1: by Donald Trump's Whitehouse that had to go part of
• 35:45
Speaker 1: the agency's pledge to restore public's trust in the CDC. Finally,
• 35:49
Speaker 1: the City of Boston scheduled to pay tribute today to

• 38:51
Speaker 1: I healing? Yeesmatly listen. Yeah, stupid is what we do.
• 39:03
Speaker 1: Stupid is what we do here every day. You think
• 39:08
Speaker 1: you think we're the best static guys. Girl, All right, listen, yeah,
• 39:16
Speaker 1: coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour, we'll
• 39:19
Speaker 1: talk about Krispy Kreme Donuts right after this. You're listening
• 39:23
Speaker 1: to show. So we've all heard about Krispy Kreme Donuts.
• 39:29
Speaker 1: They're giving away free donuts if you get a COVID
• 39:31
Speaker 1: nineteen vaccine. Well, uh, Stephen, the guys are here with
• 39:36
Speaker 1: more companies who could give away free stuff just like
• 39:39
Speaker 1: krispy KREMEE take it away, guys. You know, Krispy Kreme
• 39:45
Speaker 1: es is given away like Shirley said, oh, a donut
• 39:51
Speaker 1: to anybody to show up with the COVID vaccination, you know,
• 39:55
Speaker 1: to give you that call, right And yeah, I thought
• 39:58
Speaker 1: this was nice. But we need some other companies to
• 40:02
Speaker 1: fall along. We need some other folks to get in
• 40:05
Speaker 1: so we can get more motivation for vaccine people. And
• 40:09
Speaker 1: everybody can't get to a Chrispy Kree. But if Crown
• 40:13
Speaker 1: Royal will sign up for this program, everybody get a
• 40:18
Speaker 1: vaccine card, give them one of them free purple bags.
• 40:22
Speaker 1: They glod and purple bags. We keep changing it. I'm
• 40:27
Speaker 1: traveled with it, will keep my socks in it when
• 40:29
Speaker 1: I'm playing Domino. Yeah, you gotta do some stuff. I
• 40:33
Speaker 1: think another company that old black people, a lot of churches,
• 40:36
Speaker 1: Chicken need to get involved with this hill. Everybody show
• 40:40
Speaker 1: up with a vaccine car. You get a half of
• 40:42
Speaker 1: wing cheches. That's a big ass wing, so that everybody
• 40:48
Speaker 1: just a half of wing. Some people just like the
• 40:50
Speaker 1: drum at, some people like the flats. It'll workout. Also, ladies,
• 40:55
Speaker 1: you're not familiar with this, but at the gas stations
• 40:59
Speaker 1: they sell sexual sexual enhancement peels for men, and the
• 41:05
Speaker 1: big peel is called the Rhino peel. I think rhino
• 41:08
Speaker 1: as many brothers. I haven't seen at the gas station.
• 41:11
Speaker 1: And they wasn't even buying them Scratch scratching win cards either.
• 41:15
Speaker 1: If you buy one, you get too rhino peels free.
• 41:18

• 41:22
Speaker 1: else to benefit it from black people to Paddy La Belle,
• 41:25
Speaker 1: padded pies. Come on, Padded do what you need to do.
• 41:32
Speaker 1: Here's a company make it all kind of money on
• 41:34
Speaker 1: black folk. Nike, damn it, just do it. I'm mad
• 41:39
Speaker 1: at that. Johnson and Johnson need to chip in with
• 41:44
Speaker 1: a vaccination program. All that baby all they selling, They
• 41:48
Speaker 1: sell them a little bit of travel baby AARs. Give
• 41:51
Speaker 1: one of them away. Yeah, everybody like baby ards. Some
• 41:54
Speaker 1: people just use it for feet, and I'm telling you
• 41:56
Speaker 1: is other purposes. Trojan Trojan condoms need to help out.
• 42:03
Speaker 1: We're trying to get people vascinated. Get vascinated. You get
• 42:06
Speaker 1: one condom free, and if you do, I help with
• 42:13
Speaker 1: your cutting down on the disease too, because if you
• 42:16
Speaker 1: wear the condom, you'd be less people here to get
• 42:19
Speaker 1: the damn COVID. I've been thinking about it. Yeah, got
• 42:26
Speaker 1: just one last one. I think the folks that are
• 42:30
Speaker 1: ky jelly are to get involved in what happened. Suggestion
• 42:36
Speaker 1: just ky jelly. Yeah, I've never known anybody and use
• 42:41
  Speaker 1: a whole batt of k y really have anywhere you're
• 42:45
Speaker 1: then you always spill something on you end and you
• 42:48
Speaker 1: lead the top off and it didn't go bad, then
• 42:51
Speaker 1: it ain't ky jelly no more. It's just kya. If
• 43:00
Speaker 1: you need it top off, it go bad. They ain't
• 43:02
Speaker 1: ky jelly no more k y because every time you
• 43:07
Speaker 1: touch you gonna call this is card. Don't ask me
• 43:12
Speaker 1: how I know. None of this is waven included them
• 43:17
Speaker 1: into the vascination program. Company company, I think all for
• 43:25
Speaker 1: they ounces should get involved in Yeah, or e slitch coach.
• 43:32
Speaker 1: All y'all need to get involved. And if you bring it,
• 43:35
Speaker 1: if you bring it a vaccination card and you buy
• 43:38
Speaker 1: or forty, you get one can of it free to
• 43:41
Speaker 1: yea because coach still come in a can. Yeah, Nicky's
• 43:46
Speaker 1: all that good. Companies one Last One or AMC movie
• 43:54
Speaker 1: theaters need to get involved. You have you COVID vaccination card,
• 43:58
Speaker 1: you get it half a box of popcorn, free affle
• 44:03
Speaker 1: box popcorn expense. All right, thank you, Steve. Coming up next,
• 44:11
Speaker 1: it is a nephew with today's prank phone call. Right
• 44:14
Speaker 1: after this, thank him. You're crazy. You're listening to the
• 44:19
Speaker 1: Steve Morning Show. All right, guys. Coming up at the
• 44:23
Speaker 1: top of the hour, right about four minutes after, it's
• 44:26
Speaker 1: my strawberry letter for today. The subject praise and a raise.
• 44:32
Speaker 1: Praise and a raise. We'll get into that, won't he
• 44:36
Speaker 1: doing bony will We'll get into that in just a minute.
• 44:39
Speaker 1: But right now the nephew is here with today's prank
• 44:42
Speaker 1: phone call. What you got for us? Neff A wedding
• 44:46
  Speaker 1: and a funeral that's too much a wedding and a
• 45:00
Speaker 1: who try one on? Hey, hey, wedding. But I like
• 45:10
Speaker 1: the way he gave he had to call he got
• 45:12
Speaker 1: because he didn't had win all in the fact his
• 45:15
Speaker 1: throat play it. Man, Let's go cat though, I'm not
• 45:23
Speaker 1: gonna see it again. Hello, Ryan, Ali, I'm trying to
• 45:27
Speaker 1: start Ryan, Ryan, how you doing, Hey, I'm good. Second,
• 45:31
Speaker 1: this is Josh Josh over at see. I'm want to
• 45:33
Speaker 1: be officials at the church where you guys are getting
• 45:36
Speaker 1: married tomorrow? Yeah, yeah, how you doing? Man? They want
• 45:39
Speaker 1: to thank y'all for that too, Man, we'll appreciate it. Sure. Yeah, well,
• 45:42
Speaker 1: we definitely hope to make you a member here soon
• 45:44
Speaker 1: or later since you guys are getting married. You know, hey, man,
• 45:48
Speaker 1: you know I'm trying to get this worst schedule change up.
• 45:50
Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. They got me working on
• 45:51
Speaker 1: Sundays now, Man, So soon as I tweaked at the
• 45:54
Speaker 1: mood that around a little bit, I'll be there. Okay, listen,
• 45:56
Speaker 1: we have a bit of a situation that has come up.
• 45:59
Speaker 1: We had some problems and miscommunication and it's definitely been
• 46:03
Speaker 1: on the outside. They had your name Ryan down here
• 46:06
Speaker 1: with your phone number as well as you're soon to
• 46:09
Speaker 1: be wife Sonya. They had her name here, but we
• 46:12
Speaker 1: didn't want to call her with this. We wanted to
• 46:14
Speaker 1: just reach out and talk to you and see it.
• 46:16
Speaker 1: Just make you ware of what was going on. Okay,
• 46:19
  Speaker 1: What's what's going on? Man? There's been a mix up
• 46:21
Speaker 1: on on scheduling. I don't know if you know such
• 46:23
Speaker 1: the Older make she passed away a week ago and
• 46:28
Speaker 1: you're not You're not a member of the church, so
• 46:29
Speaker 1: you wouldn't know it. But she's one of the one
• 46:31
Speaker 1: of the oldest members here at the church. Such the
• 46:33
Speaker 1: Older may passed away. And what's going on? Is you
• 46:37
Speaker 1: all's wedding is tomorrow at twelve o'clock, right, but the
• 46:42
Speaker 1: actual funeral is at three o'clock here at the church. Okay, uh,
• 46:48
Speaker 1: but Shae begin brother with Josh Josh. Okay, look here,
• 46:53
Speaker 1: brother Josh, um hey man, we we we already got
• 46:56
Speaker 1: this thing in motion. Man, we didn't stand out. Dad.
• 46:59
Speaker 1: Are two the limitations, man, I mean, blessed old man
• 47:03
Speaker 1: and and and I understand that, but but but I mean,
• 47:06
Speaker 1: you know, she's there's no way we could have moved
• 47:09
Speaker 1: it around. Now. The biggest problem, the funeral home is
• 47:11
Speaker 1: bringing the casket first thing in the morning. So what
• 47:14
Speaker 1: I want, what I wanted to make you aware of,
• 47:16
Speaker 1: and I didn't want you to tell your wife this,
• 47:18
Speaker 1: but the actual casket will be in the saint uary,
• 47:21
Speaker 1: but we will have it. Hold of man, are you serious? Now?
• 47:25
Speaker 1: Look at the y'all need to move this round. I
• 47:28
  Speaker 1: don't know what y'all gonna do. Y'all have a fellowship
• 47:30
Speaker 1: hall in the back or something like that. Ryan. The
• 47:34
Speaker 1: only place we can actually put the casket, and if
• 47:37
Speaker 1: we didn't put it there is in the actual room
• 47:39
Speaker 1: that you'll you'll soon to be wife would be changing in.
• 47:41
Speaker 1: That's the only place my wife infortually changing the room
• 47:45
Speaker 1: with the dead body. So you're telling me what it was,
• 47:48
Speaker 1: and you know what, I understood that. That's the first
• 47:50
  Speaker 1: thing I thought of. I thought. I said, let's just
• 47:52
Speaker 1: put the casket way it goes for the fun of them,
• 47:55
Speaker 1: and we're gonna cover it up and see. Basically, you
• 47:58
Speaker 1: actually get in. But I can't even believe you call
• 48:02
Speaker 1: on me with man, look at and excuse my french man. Yeah,
• 48:06
Speaker 1: I knew I need to get back in the church.
• 48:07
Speaker 1: I really do. But right now, Dug this ain't going
• 48:10
Speaker 1: down like this man, we didn't already pay the money.
• 48:12
Speaker 1: And first first, first of all, first of all, you
• 48:15
Speaker 1: know she shouldn't. I don't even feel like she may
• 48:17
Speaker 1: had to pay, you know, to hold no wedding over
• 48:20
Speaker 1: a hut hurt where she paid times at. That's that's
• 48:23
Speaker 1: the first thing. You know. I ain't like that from
• 48:25
Speaker 1: the jumping. But I wouldn't hear when women because she
• 48:27
Speaker 1: want her pasta to marry us. And now you got
• 48:29
Speaker 1: to nerd to tell me that y'all will arrange something
• 48:32
Speaker 1: that for funeral gonna happen the same day as my
• 48:34
Speaker 1: wedding and my wife's got to get dressed in the
• 48:36
Speaker 1: room with a dead body. Well, no, we're not gonna
• 48:39
Speaker 1: put it in that room. Was like I said, I'm
• 48:41
Speaker 1: putting that body first thing in the morning. I'm gonna
• 48:43
Speaker 1: put that body in the right there in front of
• 48:46
Speaker 1: the fullpit, and we're gonna cover it. Now, what you're
• 48:49
Speaker 1: getting out of is you get more flowers, because there's
• 48:52
Speaker 1: gonna be flowers from the fuel. So I'm thinking that's
• 48:55
Speaker 1: probably gonna be a little bit of a pert point.
• 48:57
Speaker 1: I just wanted you to be one's probably gonna be
• 48:59
Speaker 1: more people than you think, because some of the people
• 49:02
Speaker 1: that's gonna be as your wedding, it's really for the funeral. Hey,
• 49:06
Speaker 1: hold on, man, are you serious? Frighten? Ow? I mean
• 49:09
Speaker 1: looking at doctor. I didn't paid for the wedding happened
• 49:12
Speaker 1: at this church, man, Okay, ain't And no disrespect to
• 49:15
Speaker 1: the lady that has passed called blessed so family. I
• 49:17
Speaker 1: ain't planning to not putting no dead body having a
• 49:21
Speaker 1: funeral at my wedding. Man, that's crazy. Down on the
• 49:26
Speaker 1: church too, sir. She's a member of the church too. Hey,
• 49:29
  Speaker 1: I don't give it. I don't being no member of
• 49:30
Speaker 1: the church. Man. I didn't paid for this weid and
• 49:33
Speaker 1: it's gonna happen tomorrow. Man, you my six and putting
• 49:36
Speaker 1: new dead body if my wedding ran I mean, no disrespect,
• 49:45
Speaker 1: but the woman has passed. She is not gonna get up.
• 49:48
Speaker 1: I mean, what what is the problem. The problem is
• 49:50
Speaker 1: your called me with this man the day before my
• 49:53
Speaker 1: wed and we didn't schedule there six months ago. I
• 49:55
Speaker 1: got to spend twenty five thirty thousand dollars on this
• 49:58
Speaker 1: wed Okay, And are you're gonna tell me that we
• 50:00
Speaker 1: got to share? I will win with a funeral, but
• 50:02
Speaker 1: the Hillers won't with you. Man, do you want to
• 50:05
Speaker 1: have you're winning as this church? I'll pay for them.
• 50:08
Speaker 1: And what you meant, I'm having the wind? Okay, I'll
• 50:11
Speaker 1: tell you what lift the boy the BP in the
• 50:12
Speaker 1: morning I wrote in the right out to the street playing.
• 50:15
Speaker 1: Y'all just say things in front and and and throw
• 50:17
Speaker 1: flowers like throwing rice. But we're gonna have a win
• 50:21
Speaker 1: inside the same yere tomorrow. I promise you that I care.
• 50:23
Speaker 1: I care, assure you that it won't be I have
• 50:26
Speaker 1: no other place to put the body. Okay, well I'll
• 50:29
Speaker 1: bet y'all find someone to put it. If I get
• 50:31
Speaker 1: that to mark. It's about it there. It's gonna be
• 50:33
Speaker 1: a couple of about it in the name. You got
• 50:35
Speaker 1: two choices to move that funeral or to reimburse me
• 50:39
Speaker 1: back to thirty thousand dollars out of an hour to
• 50:40
Speaker 1: spend those only two choices. I want to hear about it.
• 50:43
Speaker 1: Meet me at the front door to night with a
• 50:45
Speaker 1: thirty thousand dollars cash shar check. All we said to
• 50:47
Speaker 1: have this winding up in that to morrow morning. You
• 50:49
  Speaker 1: heard me, I ain't playing. I ain't playing at all.
• 50:52
Speaker 1: No jokes. That's wrong with y'all. Man, you can do
• 50:55
Speaker 1: something else. I understand that nothing. I don't want to
• 50:58
Speaker 1: hear from you. Man. All I'm saying is it's gonna
• 51:01
Speaker 1: be a win at this church tomorrow without saying dead
• 51:05
Speaker 1: about it. That's all I'm saying. Push it to the band. Man.
• 51:08
Speaker 1: There's there's one more, a bit of an issue that
• 51:10
Speaker 1: I need to tell you. Also, what can be worse
• 51:13
Speaker 1: than the dead about it? What issue can be worse dead?
• 51:15
Speaker 1: By that way? The man the issue, sir, that it
• 51:18
Speaker 1: is worse than the dead body is. This is nephew
• 51:21

• 54:07
Speaker 1: I'm clean, hideous strawberry look. Thank you, nephew. Subject praise
• 54:18
Speaker 1: and a raise. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a thirty one
• 54:21
Speaker 1: year old married woman and my marriage is basically over.
• 54:25
Speaker 1: A year ago, a twenty four year old female called
• 54:27
Speaker 1: me and said she's been sleeping with my husband and
• 54:30
Speaker 1: sent me a picture of him in her bed. Right
• 54:33
Speaker 1: after that, I had to be quarantined with this man,
• 54:36
Speaker 1: so I made the best of it. By December, I
• 54:39
Speaker 1: had started having virtual counseling sessions with my pastor. He
• 54:43
Speaker 1: was one of the first to be vaccinated in our community,
• 54:46
Speaker 1: so he encouraged me to do face to face sessions.
• 54:50
Speaker 1: He told me to get myself together and tap into
• 54:52
Speaker 1: my inner beauty and my great physique. He really helped
• 54:56
Speaker 1: me change my mindset from victim to conqueror. He tell
• 55:00
Speaker 1: me that he could show me how I should be loved,
• 55:02
Speaker 1: and I went with it. At that point, I would
• 55:05
Speaker 1: have done whatever he told me to do because he
• 55:07
Speaker 1: had me under his spell. He started making passionate love
• 55:11
Speaker 1: to me once a week, and it really helped my
• 55:13
Speaker 1: self esteem. His love making gave me you heard me.
• 55:18
Speaker 1: His love making gave me the courage to file for
• 55:21
Speaker 1: divorce and ask for a raise at work. I never
• 55:26
Speaker 1: used my femininity to my advantage. I dressed sexy for
• 55:29
Speaker 1: my boss and asked him for the raise. He asked
• 55:32
Speaker 1: me to show him why I deserved a raise, and
• 55:35
Speaker 1: by the look on his face, I knew exactly what
• 55:37
Speaker 1: to show him. He saw what he needed to see
• 55:40
Speaker 1: and even got to rub it and bam, I got
• 55:44
Speaker 1: a twenty percent raise. I know I sound trifling af
• 55:48
Speaker 1: and that's fine. But men do what they do all
• 55:51
Speaker 1: of the time, so why is it wrong if I
• 55:53
Speaker 1: enjoy the game a little bit with them. The pastor
• 55:56
Speaker 1: is married, but he is such a great lover. I
• 55:59
Speaker 1: still see him occasionally for sex. He jokes that he's
• 56:02
Speaker 1: created a monster, but I'm just glad. I got my
• 56:05
Speaker 1: mojo back. I don't plan to keep this up forever,
• 56:09
Speaker 1: but if I do, what's the worst that can happen?
• 56:11
Speaker 1: Isn't this how the world works now? Just curious? Well
• 56:16
Speaker 1: for starters, the worst that could happen is that you
• 56:18
Speaker 1: could get killed and go to hell if his wife
• 56:22
Speaker 1: caught you guys then decided to get revenge. You could
• 56:24
Speaker 1: get killed Hell is for continually breaking the lord's commandment
• 56:28
Speaker 1: to not commit adultree Or how about you could just
• 56:33
Speaker 1: get a disease or something. I mean, there are a
• 56:35
Speaker 1: lot of bad things that could happen to you. There
• 56:38
Speaker 1: are a lot of bad things that could happen to you.
• 56:39
Speaker 1: You're talking about what's the worst that could happen? So casually,
• 56:43
Speaker 1: so cavalier with your attitude about this. Why don't you
• 56:46
Speaker 1: why don't you stop now that you've gotten, as you say,
• 56:50
Speaker 1: your mojo back, since that's what you were trying to do. Yeah,
• 56:54
Speaker 1: leave the married pastor alone. I mean, you certainly didn't
• 56:57
Speaker 1: like it when your husband was cheating on you, now,
• 56:59
Speaker 1: did you? And the thing is with your boss, you
• 57:02
Speaker 1: probably could have gotten a raise anyway without exposing yourself
• 57:06
Speaker 1: to your boss. I mean, you don't have to do that.
• 57:08
Speaker 1: Huh what I didn't hear you, Steve. I'm no, oh
• 57:20
Speaker 1: not twenty percent. Well, anyway, you say the pastor's love
• 57:24
Speaker 1: making gave you the courage to file for divorce and
• 57:27
Speaker 1: ask for a raise at work, Okay, well, keep the
• 57:29
Speaker 1: courage part of it, Keep the empowerment stuff you have
• 57:33
Speaker 1: going on. All of that you could do all you
• 57:35
Speaker 1: could still do all of that. But you know you
• 57:38
Speaker 1: don't have to give yourself away like this. You know
• 57:43
Speaker 1: you could be strong, you could be empowered, and you
• 57:45
Speaker 1: don't have to do it this way. I still believe
• 57:47
Speaker 1: you could have gotten the raise anyway, twenty percent or
• 57:51
Speaker 1: whatever you want it. You know, if, if, if you're
• 57:53
Speaker 1: the right kind of employee, you would have gotten it.
• 57:56
Speaker 1: Believe more in yourself. You say you got your mojo back.
• 57:59
Speaker 1: Make sure that you have your self esteem and don't
• 58:02
Speaker 1: go out here and let people use you, all right,
• 58:04
Speaker 1: don't do that, Steve, I see so much this lady
• 58:09
Speaker 1: she tripping, She thirty one year old married woman. Twenty
• 58:12
Speaker 1: four year old Lady Colin said she would to sleep
• 58:14
Speaker 1: with her sent a picture to her, so now her
• 58:18
Speaker 1: marriage is over it, but she had to quarantine with
• 58:20
Speaker 1: the man. So she made the best of it. By December,
• 58:24
Speaker 1: she started having virtual counseling sessions with her pastor. Then
• 58:28
Speaker 1: she jumps and says, he was one of the first
• 58:30
Speaker 1: to be vaccinated in our community, so he encouraged me
• 58:33
Speaker 1: to do face to face sessions. Where did he get
• 58:35
Speaker 1: the vaccine? I mean this was by December. I started
• 58:40
Speaker 1: having virtual counseling session with the pastor. He was one
• 58:43
Speaker 1: of the first to be vaccinated in our community, so
• 58:45
Speaker 1: he encouraged me to do face to face sessions. When
• 58:47
Speaker 1: did he get the vascine? Certainly this wasn't available back
• 58:52
Speaker 1: in December. Nobody knew it but him. I'm just thinking
• 58:56
Speaker 1: maybe she had been counseling for a while and then
• 58:58
Speaker 1: he suggested to do face to face. He told me
• 59:02
Speaker 1: to get myself together and tap into my inner beauty
• 59:07
Speaker 1: and my great physique. What kind of counseling is this? Yeah,
• 59:13
Speaker 1: who in the counseling meeting tells you to tap into
• 59:17
Speaker 1: your inner beauty? Got that and your great physique? Damn
• 59:22
Speaker 1: past He really helped me change my mindset from victim
• 59:26
Speaker 1: to conqueror. Then she said, at that point, I do
• 59:30
Speaker 1: whatever he told me. He started making passionate love to
• 59:33
Speaker 1: me once a week, what women hold over? He told
• 59:38
Speaker 1: me that he could show me how it could be loved.
• 59:40
Speaker 1: And I went with it and and it changed me,
• 59:44
Speaker 1: and it helped me because he had me on. He
• 59:47
Speaker 1: started making passionate out to me once week and it
• 59:49
Speaker 1: helped my self esteem. Helped your self esteem? No, he
• 59:53
Speaker 1: helped himself. His love making gave me the courage to
• 59:57
Speaker 1: file for divorce and ask for a raid. What did
• 1:00:01
Speaker 1: he do to you? And those two things don't go together?
• 1:00:05
Speaker 1: He did you so good you went in there, got
• 1:00:07
Speaker 1: a divorce and ask for a raise. I want to
• 1:00:11
Speaker 1: know what did pastor do to you to make you jump?
• 1:00:16
Speaker 1: I'm on a damn divorce and damn it, give me
• 1:00:20
Speaker 1: a raise too. Past hold that thought, Steve. We'll have
• 1:00:25
Speaker 1: part two of your response coming up at twenty three
• 1:00:28
Speaker 1: minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry Letters subject praise and
• 1:00:31
Speaker 1: a raise. We'll get back into it right after this.
• 1:00:34
Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve,
• 1:00:39
Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letters. Subject praise and a raise,
• 1:00:44
Speaker 1: Praise and raise. Here's the third one year old woman, Mary,
• 1:00:49
Speaker 1: twenty four year old woman sends her a picture of
• 1:00:51
Speaker 1: her husband in bed with him. This starts the demise
• 1:00:55
Speaker 1: of the marriage. Of course, their quarantine last year and
• 1:00:59
Speaker 1: she hated it, but she started doing virtual counseling with
• 1:01:03
Speaker 1: her pastor in December. He was the first one to
• 1:01:06
Speaker 1: get fascinated, so he encouraged her to do face to
• 1:01:08
Speaker 1: face sessions. I guess after a while he really did.
• 1:01:12
Speaker 1: He told me to get myself together, tap into my
• 1:01:16
Speaker 1: inner beauty and my great physique. What pastor does this?
• 1:01:21
Speaker 1: So this is Reverend Trickey. Reverend Tricky told her that,
• 1:01:26
Speaker 1: and then he said he really helped me change my
• 1:01:29
Speaker 1: mindset from victim mc conqueror. He told me that he
• 1:01:32
Speaker 1: could show me how I should be loved, and I
• 1:01:35
Speaker 1: went with it. At that point I had done whatever
• 1:01:37
Speaker 1: he did because he had me on this spell. Okay,
• 1:01:41
Speaker 1: he really helped you change your mindset. You don't see
• 1:01:45
Speaker 1: him helping himself, all right. He started making passionate love
• 1:01:49
Speaker 1: to me once a week, and it really helped my
• 1:01:51
Speaker 1: self esteem. Really, it would help everybody's self esteem. I
• 1:01:57
Speaker 1: bet it did a lot for the past and self
• 1:01:59
Speaker 1: esteem too. I guess his counseling rage must have went
• 1:02:03
Speaker 1: through the roof his love making gave me the courage
• 1:02:06
Speaker 1: to file for divorce and ask for a raise at work.
• 1:02:10
Speaker 1: What did this pastor do to you that was so outstanding?
• 1:02:16
Speaker 1: I want to divorce Ana damn raised. Then she says,
• 1:02:19
Speaker 1: I never used my femininity to my advantage. I dressed
• 1:02:23
Speaker 1: sexy for my boss and I asked him for the raise.
• 1:02:27
Speaker 1: He asked me to show him why I deserved the raise,
• 1:02:32
Speaker 1: and by the look on his face, I knew exactly
• 1:02:35
Speaker 1: what to show him. He saw what he needed to
• 1:02:38
Speaker 1: see and he even got to rub it and then bam,
• 1:02:43
Speaker 1: I got a twenty raised, sister, the pastor did all
• 1:02:47
Speaker 1: this for you. All of this goes back to the
• 1:02:54
Speaker 1: pastor raising yourself esteem or did he raise something else
• 1:02:59
Speaker 1: in you? Because he seems to have brought out a
• 1:03:03
Speaker 1: devious side of you has nothing to do with self esteem,
• 1:03:07
Speaker 1: So I need I think you need to think about that,
• 1:03:10
Speaker 1: because you even said, I know I sound trifling, Alfie,
• 1:03:14
Speaker 1: and that's fine. But men do what they do all
• 1:03:17
Speaker 1: the time, So why is it wrong if I enjoy
• 1:03:19
Speaker 1: the game a little bit with them? You wrote us,
• 1:03:22
Speaker 1: we didn't even know nothing about this. We didn't even know.
• 1:03:27
Speaker 1: We didn't know you was doing none of this. See,
• 1:03:30
Speaker 1: so now you you know this is wrong because you said,
• 1:03:34
Speaker 1: I know I sound trifling al and that's fine. But
• 1:03:37
Speaker 1: men do what they do all the time. So why
• 1:03:39
Speaker 1: is it wrong if I end joy the game a
• 1:03:41
Speaker 1: little bit with them? Well, me and Sherley don't know you,
• 1:03:45
Speaker 1: so we didn't know you was trifle. You just told
• 1:03:50
Speaker 1: us you was trifling. Now we agree with you, But
• 1:03:54
Speaker 1: this is all based on what you said. The past
• 1:03:56
Speaker 1: is married. You think that's smart, But he is such
• 1:04:01
Speaker 1: a great lover. I still see him occasionally for sex.
• 1:04:04
Speaker 1: He jokes that he created a monster. This funny to
• 1:04:07
Speaker 1: the past man. I still okay, But I'm glad I
• 1:04:12
Speaker 1: got my mojo back. You got what back. You was
• 1:04:17
Speaker 1: fine before that. You had the same body before that.
• 1:04:21
Speaker 1: You just didn't have this stupid attitude you got. That's
• 1:04:24
Speaker 1: doing a lot of stuff that ain't gonna benefit you.
• 1:04:27
Speaker 1: I don't plan to keep this up forever. When you're
• 1:04:30
Speaker 1: gonna stop. See, once you start down the dark path
• 1:04:34
Speaker 1: and it gets you what you want. How you know
• 1:04:36
Speaker 1: how many dudes I know that we're selling drugs, talking
• 1:04:39
Speaker 1: about as soon as I buy this, I'm gonna stop.
• 1:04:42
Speaker 1: But if I do. What's the worst that can happen?
• 1:04:45
Speaker 1: Isn't this how the world works? Now? Just curious? Yeah,
• 1:04:49
Speaker 1: this is how the falling works now exactly. The falling
• 1:04:51
Speaker 1: world works exactly like this. But that don't mean you
• 1:04:54
Speaker 1: have to be a participant. Now, what's the worst thing
• 1:04:57
Speaker 1: can happen to you? Disease? What's the the worst thing?
• 1:05:00
Speaker 1: You get your ass? Will? Ye? Who's gonna whip your ass?
• 1:05:04
Speaker 1: The boss's wife, the pastor's wife. You can end up
• 1:05:09
Speaker 1: in hell? See what your departure you're missing? The pastor
• 1:05:14
Speaker 1: used you and deceived you to get what he wanted.
• 1:05:20
Speaker 1: Now the part where he created a master. Now you're
• 1:05:23
Speaker 1: doing what you want to do to get what you want.
• 1:05:26
Speaker 1: Ain't that how the world work? Well? Okay, well yeah,
• 1:05:30
Speaker 1: that's how the world work. Up. The world also climbs
• 1:05:34
Speaker 1: the wall at the Capitol Building January six, The world
• 1:05:39
Speaker 1: walks into a supermarket and kills ten people in Boulder, Colorado.
• 1:05:45
Speaker 1: The world goes into movie theaters and shoot people. The
• 1:05:49
Speaker 1: world does a lot of things, But why would you
• 1:05:55
Speaker 1: get involved with it? Just because you can do something
• 1:06:00
Speaker 1: don't mean you should do something. That's right, young lady,
• 1:06:04
Speaker 1: you better get some morality in your life and really
• 1:06:08
Speaker 1: get some self esteem about yourself and stop just passing
• 1:06:12
Speaker 1: yourself out like it's popcorn. Because let me tell you
• 1:06:15
Speaker 1: something about popcorn. All popcorn, even with the metal top own,
• 1:06:20
Speaker 1: it gets stale after while. Come on, big dog, once
• 1:06:25
Speaker 1: she opened popcorn, it gets stale. That's rights hit popcorn,
• 1:06:31
Speaker 1: even if it's garrets. All right, Steve, thank you. Post
• 1:06:38
Speaker 1: your comments on today's Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey FM
• 1:06:40
Speaker 1: on Instagram and Facebook, and check out the Strawberry Letter
• 1:06:43
Speaker 1: podcast on demand coming up at forty six minutes after
• 1:06:48
Speaker 1: the hour. Our good friend Junior will be doing sports
• 1:06:51
Speaker 1: in Sports Talk with Junior right after this. You're listening
• 1:06:56
Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Junior is here with Sports Talk.
• 1:07:00
Speaker 1: What you got for us today, Junior? Okay, this is
• 1:07:04
Speaker 1: this crazy? This is different. I'll just say that it's different.
• 1:07:07
Speaker 1: The Miami Heat are played in the open two sections
• 1:07:10
Speaker 1: at American Airlines Arena for fans who are fully vaccinated.
• 1:07:14
Speaker 1: Now they are really redefining the VIP section. It's now
• 1:07:18
Speaker 1: called the Vaccinated Important People's Section. It's still VIP. Yeah,
• 1:07:28
Speaker 1: you still have to wear a mask, but the social
• 1:07:30
Speaker 1: distance rules have been a little more relaxed and in
• 1:07:33
Speaker 1: those sections the floor seats. Wow, so all you have
• 1:07:37
Speaker 1: to do with your show proof of your CDC vaccinated
• 1:07:39
Speaker 1: car and you would give vaccinated wrist bands and then
• 1:07:42
Speaker 1: you have a seat in the lower level. Now, if
• 1:07:44
Speaker 1: you want to sit on the floor in the vaccinated
• 1:07:46
Speaker 1: fans section, you will still have to take a rapid
• 1:07:49
Speaker 1: COVID test on site since you so close to the teams.
• 1:07:54
Speaker 1: But it's only two sections, that's it. It's not like,
• 1:07:57
Speaker 1: I mean, how big is two sections? What were talking about?
• 1:08:01
Speaker 1: Two hundred people? People? You know? Well, I mean you
• 1:08:08
Speaker 1: know some people that take that, you know, just to
• 1:08:11
Speaker 1: get back in the game, see something lives. They started
• 1:08:14
Speaker 1: slowly opening this thing up. Yeah, they need to have
• 1:08:17
Speaker 1: something down there for them people that was at the beach,
• 1:08:19
Speaker 1: is what I'm saying. Focus on the people, bring break
• 1:08:23
Speaker 1: is all I'm saying. Well, we need to get that vaccinated.
• 1:08:26
Speaker 1: That's super spread of event. Yeah yeah, yeah, but I
• 1:08:30
Speaker 1: think it's a good thing for the Miami Heat though.
• 1:08:32
Speaker 1: I think it's good for basketball. We gotta slowly over
• 1:08:34
Speaker 1: the backup. You're right, man, because I would love to
• 1:08:36
Speaker 1: go to a game right now too. Man, You would,
• 1:08:38
Speaker 1: I really would but if you're if you're in the
• 1:08:40
Speaker 1: VIP section and you call one time, I thought that
• 1:08:45
Speaker 1: I thought it was to out. You gotta go. Just
• 1:08:51
Speaker 1: your throat. If you clear to Yale for the team, Jake,
• 1:08:58
Speaker 1: let's go heat, you're out. Try to cover that. You
• 1:09:02
Speaker 1: try to cover that with the here. Yeah, you gotta go.
• 1:09:11
Speaker 1: You gotta get money over here. We're not falling for that.
• 1:09:14
Speaker 1: That is not what we're doing. So when things do
• 1:09:18
Speaker 1: open up, what's the first thing. Where's the first place
• 1:09:20
Speaker 1: you're gonna go? I mean, is it gonna be to
• 1:09:22
Speaker 1: a sports game, Junior? Or I want to live? What
• 1:09:28
Speaker 1: about you, Steve, I'm gonna I want to go to
• 1:09:30
Speaker 1: the restaurant Helpton with my wife m right man, and
• 1:09:35
Speaker 1: we got to get this thing back. Oh yeah, get back.
• 1:09:38
Speaker 1: That's the only thing I missed going out to dinner.
• 1:09:42
Speaker 1: I don't go to the live shows. Hell, I've been
• 1:09:45
Speaker 1: the live show for Yeah, you were for us the
• 1:09:48
Speaker 1: majority of your life. You're still the show. I got
• 1:09:54
Speaker 1: ve shows. Yeah, see a movie. Yeah, that's what I
• 1:09:57
Speaker 1: want to do. All right? Coming up at the top
• 1:10:00
Speaker 1: of the hours, Stay woke, Georgia voting rights are under attack.
• 1:10:05
Speaker 1: We'll talk about it. Right after this, you're listening to
• 1:10:08
Speaker 1: the Stay Harvey Morning Show. Well the Dirty South for real? Okay, yesterday,
• 1:10:17
Speaker 1: Republicans in Georgia passed a bill forcing new voting restrictions.
• 1:10:22
Speaker 1: The bill passed in the Georgia Senate thirty four to twenty,
• 1:10:25
Speaker 1: and Governor Bryant Kemp signed it. According to CNN, the
• 1:10:29
Speaker 1: law imposes new voter identification requirements for absentee ballots, empowers
• 1:10:35
Speaker 1: state officials to take over local election boards, limits the
• 1:10:39
Speaker 1: use of ballot drop boxes, and makes it a crime
• 1:10:43
Speaker 1: to approach voters in line and give them food or water.
• 1:10:47
Speaker 1: The Georgia goops are calling it the Election Integrity Act.
• 1:10:51
Speaker 1: What do you guys think about that Election Integrity Act?
• 1:10:55
Speaker 1: It's just blatant open voter suppression. And these folks man
• 1:11:00
Speaker 1: will do anything and see now, so what they're gonna
• 1:11:04
Speaker 1: do now is they're gonna limit the amount of voting boxes. Right. So,
• 1:11:09
Speaker 1: now that's gonna mean they're gonna condense the voting poles
• 1:11:13
Speaker 1: down to smaller locations, which means longer lines. So now,
• 1:11:18
Speaker 1: if you can't bring anybody food to water, that discourages
• 1:11:21
Speaker 1: some people to vote. You understand they're looking at all
• 1:11:26
Speaker 1: they trying to do is find a way to get
• 1:11:28
Speaker 1: twenty thousand disgrunted voters so they can turn to Georgia
• 1:11:33
Speaker 1: state right back red like it was. And this is
• 1:11:36
Speaker 1: how you just this is how you create twenty thousand disgruntable.
• 1:11:41
Speaker 1: Not to mention the proof that you got to have
• 1:11:45
Speaker 1: to vote in all this stuff that they're talking about.
• 1:11:47
Speaker 1: They're finding the way to come up with the twenty
• 1:11:51
Speaker 1: thousand votes so they can win. Man, this is like craziness, man,
• 1:11:58
Speaker 1: and that's nothing, no good control laws. But they Russian
• 1:12:03
Speaker 1: to do this, Steve, I'm talking about right now. But
• 1:12:08
Speaker 1: I don't see how. There's got to be something. It's there.
• 1:12:13
Speaker 1: The bill is going to require a photo ID to
• 1:12:16
Speaker 1: vote absentee by mail. So is the bill passed? Yeah,
• 1:12:20
  Speaker 1: it's it's in. Yeah, I believe it is. Yeah, it's
• 1:12:23
Speaker 1: the new bill. It is Steve yes yesterday and the
• 1:12:28
Speaker 1: governor signed it. It's going to require photo ID to
• 1:12:31
Speaker 1: vote absentee by mail, cut the time period voters have
• 1:12:35
Speaker 1: to request an absentee ballot, and then limit where ballot
• 1:12:38
Speaker 1: drop boxes can be placed and when they can be accessed.
• 1:12:42
Speaker 1: So I mean this is really yeah yeah, yeah, um
• 1:12:52
Speaker 1: so we're gonna have to put water and food and
• 1:12:55
Speaker 1: snacks and our purses. I look at it like this.
• 1:13:00
Speaker 1: What what they don't realize is black folks been standing
• 1:13:03
Speaker 1: in line for a long damn time. We used to
• 1:13:06
Speaker 1: standing in line waiting on something, so we don't really
• 1:13:10
  Speaker 1: have a problem. I mean, it's wrong, but we're not
• 1:13:13
Speaker 1: gonna have a problem trying to vote your ass out.
• 1:13:15
Speaker 1: You gotta come better than that. If that's all you

• 1:13:21
Speaker 1: a long damn time, and we will wait ten hours,
• 1:13:25
Speaker 1: thirteen hours to vote your ass out, So you gotta
• 1:13:28
Speaker 1: do better than that. Instead of them trying to bring
• 1:13:30
Speaker 1: more people to that party, they want to stop the
• 1:13:32
Speaker 1: people who are against that party to vote that. I
• 1:13:35
  Speaker 1: don't think that's gonna work. It's work, because it's not
• 1:13:39
Speaker 1: gonna work. We are going to prepare our people, Yes

• 1:13:54
Speaker 1: You ain't gonna give us no water a dog. We're
• 1:13:57
Speaker 1: gonna bring coolers down there. We could. What you're not
• 1:14:00
Speaker 1: going to do next, you're not getting this power back.
• 1:14:04
Speaker 1: We've waited four hundred years to just be treated equal.
• 1:14:09
Speaker 1: We got eight hours to get your ass out. Yep,
• 1:14:14
Speaker 1: all facts upon anybody who's ever wrote the bus don't
• 1:14:18
Speaker 1: mind waiting, damn it, So bring it. That's all you got.
• 1:14:21
Speaker 1: If that's all you got, come on, it's not gonna work.
• 1:14:26
  Speaker 1: We're gonna, we're gonna, we're gonna, we're gonna fight back,
• 1:14:28
Speaker 1: gonna backfire because yeah, we're going to vote and get
• 1:14:34
Speaker 1: them out of office. It don't matter what you say,
