- 1:06Speaker 3: Love you turn?
- 1:31Speaker 6: Can you got to turn the mouse?
- 1:42Speaker 5: Turn You probably got to turn the mouth, turn the
- 1:47Speaker 5: money up?
- 1:49Speaker 6: Looking me?
- 1:55Speaker 4: Come come on, you'll think, uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 4: A good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 4: Oh come on now dig me if you will. One
- 2:10Speaker 4: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show, you know,
- 2:15Speaker 4: one of the things about being successful. And I was
- 2:18Speaker 4: sharing this just the other day with a young man
- 2:23Speaker 4: and he asked me. He said, hey, man, I just
- 2:26Speaker 4: don't see how you get up that early in the morning.
- 2:31Speaker 4: I just don't see how, man, it would kill me
- 2:33Speaker 4: to get up this early in the morning. Well, I
- 2:36Speaker 4: sat down and I'm listening to it because it's just
- 2:38Speaker 4: a thousand times I've heard it, you know, And my
- 2:41Speaker 4: life is, you know, not too different from a lot
- 2:44Speaker 4: of people's lives. There's a lot of people out there
- 2:46Speaker 4: that rise early. And I just sit there, man, because
- 2:50Speaker 4: I mean, first of all, I'm grateful to be able
- 2:53Speaker 4: to have a job. I'm so grateful to be able
- 2:55Speaker 4: to do one and several that I happen to enjoy doing.
- 2:58Speaker 4: I mean, you know it's work and it's difficult at times,
- 3:01Speaker 4: but I mean, you know I wanted this.
- 3:04Speaker 2: You know you got it.
- 3:05Speaker 4: You know you can't ask God for nothing any give
- 3:07Speaker 4: it to you then be mad that you got it.
- 3:08Speaker 4: Don't make no sense.
- 3:09Speaker 7: You know.
- 3:10Speaker 2: The problem with asking God for stuff is.
- 3:13Speaker 4: A lot of times we ask it for stuff we
- 3:15Speaker 4: don't really know what all it encompasses, what all it
- 3:17Speaker 4: really is.
- 3:17Speaker 2: And I ask for this now along the way, I've
- 3:21Speaker 2: gotten far more than I asked for. I want you
- 3:23Speaker 2: to do.
- 3:24Speaker 4: Understand that, and you know that's His grace at work
- 3:28Speaker 4: in my life. But I get up early and I
- 3:30Speaker 4: go to work because I do understand something that it
- 3:33Speaker 4: is not.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Walking up to you.
- 3:35Speaker 4: Nobody walks up to people normally and just hand them
- 3:39Speaker 4: checks all the time, and enough checks to sustain your life,
- 3:43Speaker 4: and not only sustain it, but to have a life
- 3:45Speaker 4: that where you could enjoy and do some of the
- 3:48Speaker 4: things you want to do. I don't know the person
- 3:50Speaker 4: that walks out hands out that money just to be
- 3:53Speaker 4: doing it and then with a lifestyle though, where you
- 3:56Speaker 4: can you know, give your kids a Christmas, you know,
- 3:59Speaker 4: take your fing I'm on vacation, you know, a year
- 4:02Speaker 4: once a year. I don't know nobody passing out to
- 4:04Speaker 4: kind of money. So I get up early in the
- 4:05Speaker 4: morning and I get at it. I was taught to
- 4:08Speaker 4: get up early in the morning by my father because
- 4:12Speaker 4: my father says, ain't nothing gonna come to you while.
- 4:15Speaker 2: You lay in now.
- 4:16Speaker 4: And you know what, It's just true, man, It's just
- 4:19Speaker 4: a little common sense. Little old people smart man. They've
- 4:22Speaker 4: been around a long time. You don't get old. You know,
- 4:24Speaker 4: some old foods out there, but you know you don't
- 4:25Speaker 4: have to deal with them. But old people are pretty smart, man.
- 4:28Speaker 4: They've learned a lot along the way. And waking up
- 4:31Speaker 4: early and getting out of it is one of them things.
- 4:32Speaker 4: And I ask everybody man to think about this scenario
- 4:36Speaker 4: of your life. If a day has twenty four hours
- 4:39Speaker 4: in it, and let's just say you choose to sleep
- 4:42Speaker 4: eight of those hours because they tell you you need
- 4:46Speaker 4: eight hours sleep, so you sleep eight hours. That's a
- 4:50Speaker 4: third of your life asleep. Already, just a third of
- 4:54Speaker 4: your life is spent asleep. If you gonna do eight
- 4:58Speaker 4: hours a day. Now, let's say you have a job
- 5:01Speaker 4: that you work eight hours and it is not the
- 5:03Speaker 4: job of your dreams. It's not your dream career, your
- 5:06Speaker 4: dream profession. It's just the one you took, like all
- 5:09Speaker 4: of us, to get it started. And then, like all
- 5:12Speaker 4: of us, some of us end up having to state
- 5:14Speaker 4: that because we've created these bills because we checked and checked,
- 5:17Speaker 4: so we can't leave it because we'll lose what we've
- 5:20Speaker 4: worked for. So let's just say you got a job
- 5:22Speaker 4: that you go to work to for eight hours. That's
- 5:25Speaker 4: another third of your life. That's two thirds of your life.
- 5:28Speaker 4: Feel how you want to feel about your two thirds? Well,
- 5:31Speaker 4: I like sleep. Okay, cool, there's a scripture about that too.
- 5:34Speaker 4: But now you spent two thirds of your life one
- 5:36Speaker 4: on a job you don't care for if you're not
- 5:38Speaker 4: happy there, or one that just pays the bills, and
- 5:41Speaker 4: it's not your dream job or career. Another third of
- 5:43Speaker 4: your life is sleep. Oh now, let's hold on. Let's
- 5:45Speaker 4: talk about the one hour of preparation that it may
- 5:48Speaker 4: take to get to the job. That's seventeen hours. Let's
- 5:52Speaker 4: say your drive time. Let's say getting to your job
- 5:55Speaker 4: for the average person is anywhere between thirty to an hour.
- 6:00Speaker 4: That's an average of what it takes to average person.
- 6:02Speaker 4: Now some people out there hustling way harder than that.
- 6:04Speaker 4: But let's just say your average is an hour getting
- 6:07Speaker 4: to work. You add another hour to that going to work.
- 6:11Speaker 4: You've now spent eighteen hours out of the twenty four
- 6:16Speaker 4: doing something that's either nonproductive, you're not happy with, you're
- 6:21Speaker 4: not pleased about. It is not your dream job, it's
- 6:23Speaker 4: not your dream profession. And rest of the time you sleep.
- 6:26Speaker 4: Eighteen hours. Now you got to come from the job,
- 6:28Speaker 4: so let's just say it's another hour to get back home.
- 6:31Speaker 4: That's nineteen hours. Nineteen hours out of a twenty four
- 6:33Speaker 4: hour day. You now have five hours left in your day. Oh,
- 6:38Speaker 4: you watch TV two hours a day. Okay, excuse me.
- 6:41Speaker 4: Let's put now you put two hours of TV on
- 6:43Speaker 4: that you've just spent twenty one. You now have three
- 6:46Speaker 4: hours in the day to do something super productive for
- 6:51Speaker 4: the development of yourself and the future of your family
- 6:55Speaker 4: and your future as a person and what you can provide.
- 6:58Speaker 2: For your family.
- 7:00Speaker 4: Uh Oh, I need to chill, I need to smoke one.
- 7:05Speaker 4: Uh Oh, I needed some time at Happy seem like
- 7:09Speaker 4: all I do is dry to work and go to work.
- 7:11Speaker 4: I'm gonna go out with the fellas drink one. Okay,
- 7:16Speaker 4: Let's say you spend two hours at Happy Ill. Nobody
- 7:18Speaker 4: go to a Happy Hours y just for a hour.
- 7:20Speaker 4: Let's say you spend two hours at Happy All smokeing
- 7:23Speaker 4: all some video games, and let's do that? Is it
- 7:25Speaker 4: two hours of smoking, chilling video games. That's twenty three
- 7:29Speaker 4: hours of your day gone. Don't you see how your
- 7:32Speaker 4: day slips away from you? So why would you get
- 7:35Speaker 4: up early? You get up early to get a jump.
- 7:39Speaker 4: You get up early to produce, to plan, to become productive.
- 7:44Speaker 4: You get up early in the morning to care about
- 7:47Speaker 4: every single minute of your day. You wake up early
- 7:50Speaker 4: in the morning because you have a plan, a mission,
- 7:53Speaker 4: You have something you want to accomplish. The earlier you
- 7:56Speaker 4: get up, the more time you have just for you
- 7:58Speaker 4: to devote to your plan. You map it out, you
- 8:01Speaker 4: make them, send some emails, whatever it is you need
- 8:04Speaker 4: to do to get your dream on the way.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Then you go get ready. Then you get in your
- 8:10Speaker 2: car and go to work.
- 8:11Speaker 4: Then you go to your job, but on your job
- 8:13Speaker 4: instead of sitting at your lunch break messing around with
- 8:16Speaker 4: a bunch of people, laughing and talking about nothing, playing dominoes.
- 8:19Speaker 4: Why don't you take that hour to do some more research,
- 8:22Speaker 4: to send out some more emails, to put some feelings
- 8:25Speaker 4: out there, to see what can get you in the
- 8:27Speaker 4: place that you want to be. Then when you get off,
- 8:30Speaker 4: instead of driving straight home, why don't you go somewhere
- 8:33Speaker 4: in a meeting, you take in a session with some
- 8:36Speaker 4: people in a positive mental state, group of people that
- 8:39Speaker 4: get together. Network for business, not drink at happy hour,
- 8:42Speaker 4: I said, network for business. So after you've done that
- 8:45Speaker 4: eight that you don't really care for on a job,
- 8:48Speaker 4: you spend some more time pursuing, looking into researching, working towards,
- 8:53Speaker 4: sending out some more applications, putting in some more time
- 8:57Speaker 4: to build your new app discussing some more new working ideas. Okay,
- 9:01Speaker 4: that's your happy hour. Then when you go home, instead
- 9:04Speaker 4: of chilling drinking one, having a cold one, smoking one,
- 9:08Speaker 4: playing a video game, why don't you take that two
- 9:11Speaker 4: hours and devote that to that business idea You got
- 9:15Speaker 4: to that family that you talk about, you really won't
- 9:17Speaker 4: spend some time with your children, put something into them,
- 9:20Speaker 4: Do something, man, with all these precious hours that God
- 9:24Speaker 4: gives all of us in the course of a day.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Take advantage of every minute of that.
- 9:30Speaker 4: No human being has more than twenty four hours a day,
- 9:33Speaker 4: including myself.
- 9:35Speaker 2: But if you care about every single minute of.
- 9:38Speaker 4: That day, you'll be amazed at how much you could
- 9:41Speaker 4: get accomplished in a twenty four hour day. But you
- 9:44Speaker 4: can't get none of that happening because you sleep and
- 9:48Speaker 4: you chilling and you smoking. Okay, what has that done
- 9:53Speaker 4: for you, your family or your future? Care about every minute.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Of your day you're listening Morning show.
- 10:03Speaker 4: Ladies, gentlemen, the time has come for us to realize
- 10:06Speaker 4: that this is this is just a blessing. Man, It's
- 10:08Speaker 4: a new day. Thank you Father, oh man. Without you,
- 10:12Speaker 4: none of this is possible. So grateful man, beautiful day
- 10:16Speaker 4: to day, a chance, an opportunity, the birds sing, the sunrises,
- 10:22Speaker 4: everything works.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Man, Wow for the day. What a day? What a day?
- 10:28Speaker 2: I thank God for it.
- 10:29Speaker 4: Hey, y'all, get your head up, everybody, this is this
- 10:32Speaker 4: is you. Don't look whatever happened yesterday? Can I tell
- 10:36Speaker 4: you something critical that you that you really got to
- 10:39Speaker 4: wrap your mind around.
- 10:40Speaker 2: To show you how good God is. Whatever happened to
- 10:44Speaker 2: you yesterday?
- 10:46Speaker 4: That you did not like whatever happened yesterday that kind
- 10:51Speaker 4: of took a little different turn for you. Whatever happened
- 10:55Speaker 4: happened yesterday that somebody might try to put a negative
- 10:59Speaker 4: speing on. Can I tell you something? You survived, You
- 11:02Speaker 4: got through it, God did it again. Your track record
- 11:06Speaker 4: for surviving tough days is one hundred percent. Oh man,
- 11:11Speaker 4: that's a blessing right there. Steve Robin Morty show Shirty
- 11:14Speaker 4: Strawberry calling for Reil the Junior, the Junior Mississippi, Monica
- 11:22Speaker 4: and the legend that is Nephew Tommy.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Hey, hey, king Coon. What's going on with you today?
- 11:29Speaker 2: Where is it going?
- 11:30Speaker 3: I ain't going nowhere?
- 11:31Speaker 4: I ain't going nowhere?
- 11:33Speaker 2: Oh you just a clean clothes?
- 11:34Speaker 1: I guess what do you mean?
- 11:36Speaker 4: You want them vacation clothes?
- 11:40Speaker 2: Look like you look good though? What's on your mind?
- 11:44Speaker 2: Understand you.
- 11:47Speaker 8: Just said all this stuff and everything? Do you still
- 11:50Speaker 8: as a Christian? Do you still lie one hundred percent
- 11:52Speaker 8: of the time? Do you still lie? Are you comfortable
- 11:54Speaker 8: with the lies?
- 11:55Speaker 6: No?
- 11:56Speaker 2: No, no, no no no no no no no no,
- 11:58Speaker 2: not one hundred percent. Not a hunt, but often not
- 12:05Speaker 2: a like like right now, like I'm not lying right now?
- 12:09Speaker 2: So you know, it's like a breathe, you know.
- 12:12Speaker 4: Yeah. But if I have to, though, you will do it.
- 12:15Speaker 4: Oh lord, if I have to, you know, create a scenario,
- 12:21Speaker 4: any scenario. Watch how watch how line comes in head?
- 12:25Speaker 2: Just anything.
- 12:26Speaker 6: Okay, So you come.
- 12:27Speaker 9: Home, you come home from a long day, and you
- 12:31Speaker 9: walk in the house and you don't have a shirt on.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Why don't you have a shirt on?
- 12:36Speaker 4: I don't have a shirt on because I was saving
- 12:38Speaker 4: the baby's life on the way for baby's or quite
- 12:48Speaker 4: what's the difference? Well, see, you want to say something
- 12:52Speaker 4: that first of all, gets the attention off the fact
- 12:55Speaker 4: that you don't have a shirt on. Got to create it. Yeah,
- 13:00Speaker 4: and everybody concerned about babies. Okay, yes, okay, so now
- 13:05Speaker 4: it ain't the shirt, ain't it no more?
- 13:08Speaker 2: What baby?
- 13:09Speaker 1: Who babes?
- 13:10Speaker 6: Where?
- 13:10Speaker 4: Seeing all that, all that moment of pause helps you
- 13:15Speaker 4: to create the narrative and the background to substantiate the statement,
- 13:22Speaker 4: to justify why I don't have a shirt on it?
- 13:27Speaker 2: See all that, and see right now, all.
- 13:31Speaker 4: These questions have kept me off the subject that I
- 13:34Speaker 4: ain't got this shirt on.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Coming up, coming up for thirty two minutes after we'll
- 13:41Speaker 1: run that prank. Back with the nephew right after this.
- 13:44Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 13:47Speaker 9: Morning show, it is time now to run that prank
- 13:50Speaker 9: back with the nephew. Nephew, what do you have for
- 13:52Speaker 9: us this morning?
- 13:53Speaker 4: I got it for you.
- 13:54Speaker 7: Surely, This right here is one of the most popular
- 13:57Speaker 7: positions at the church. This is the church ussher, the
- 14:02Speaker 7: church ussher. Yes, I've always wanted to be one. I
- 14:06Speaker 7: always wanted to have that position, never been granted. But
- 14:10Speaker 7: this is the church usher cat dog.
- 14:12Speaker 4: If you would.
- 14:15Speaker 7: Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach your sister. Doing uh
- 14:21Speaker 7: good evening.
- 14:22Speaker 2: To you, ma'am.
- 14:22Speaker 7: I don't mean to be giving you a call this
- 14:24Speaker 7: late in the evening, but I I am the new
- 14:27Speaker 7: youth minister.
- 14:28Speaker 2: I haven't.
- 14:29Speaker 7: My name is Sean Williams over at Missionary Baptist Church
- 14:33Speaker 7: which minus.
- 14:33Speaker 10: Which new Youth Minnesota.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Uh he's no longer with the church anymore.
- 14:40Speaker 7: Man. No, no, well, I'm not at liberty to speak
- 14:46Speaker 7: up on that. But but what I was doing is
- 14:48Speaker 7: getting around and making sure I met everyone because I
- 14:52Speaker 7: haven't met everyone yet, and I wanted to reach out
- 14:54Speaker 7: to everyone at the church. But listen, let me let
- 14:58Speaker 7: me get down to some more business. Because I've I've
- 15:02Speaker 7: spoken with the pasta uh.
- 15:04Speaker 6: We spend.
- 15:07Speaker 10: Yes, Bishop, yes, ma'am, I know you knew, but this bishop.
- 15:10Speaker 7: Okay, I spoke with him on yesterday and we have
- 15:15Speaker 7: narrowed some things down of a few changes we're going
- 15:18Speaker 7: to be making at the church, and what we want
- 15:20Speaker 7: to do is one of the major subjects that have
- 15:23Speaker 7: come up, sister, is that we're wanting you, if at
- 15:27Speaker 7: all possible, and the deacons we're in on this meeting
- 15:30Speaker 7: as well, but wanting you to change your attitude when
- 15:34Speaker 7: people are coming in and you're seating them. From my understanding,
- 15:37Speaker 7: it's gotten to the point where they think you're wait wait, wait.
- 15:39Speaker 10: Wait, wait, wait wait a minute, I've had a.
- 15:42Speaker 11: Meeting on me.
- 15:43Speaker 2: Well, it wasn't a meeting.
- 15:45Speaker 10: Listen here. I've been ushering on that usher board for
- 15:49Speaker 10: forty seven years. I am the sor usher on that board,
- 15:54Speaker 10: and I've been trying to be nuts about it. But
- 15:56Speaker 10: I don't understand how y'all don't have a meeting without me.
- 16:00Speaker 10: First of all, But now you won't call here and
- 16:03Speaker 10: tell me that you're gonna have you having a meeting
- 16:05Speaker 10: on me about me being nice, always nice.
- 16:09Speaker 7: Well, ma'am, that doesn't seem to be the problem with
- 16:12Speaker 7: that son sold you twenty seven.
- 16:14Speaker 10: Manna some boy to call me? This don't make no
- 16:19Speaker 10: type what is it?
- 16:21Speaker 4: Well?
- 16:22Speaker 7: What that's actually my call, ma'am, is that maybe we
- 16:25Speaker 7: figured if I would call and speak with you about
- 16:27Speaker 7: the matter, that maybe we can get to some type
- 16:30Speaker 7: of uh rectifying this situation to.
- 16:33Speaker 10: Where we can We're gonna rectify here. I'm gonna rectify
- 16:36Speaker 10: you calling me this time of night, tell my some meeting.
- 16:40Speaker 10: This don't make no time. And I don't appressionate you
- 16:43Speaker 10: calling me any time of night. Away, Bishop, I need
- 16:47Speaker 10: to speak the bishop.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Bishop. Woman.
- 16:51Speaker 10: I've been at this church for forty seven years. I've
- 16:54Speaker 10: been say, oh my life, this don't make no type
- 16:56Speaker 10: of sense. You calling me here with this mess now,
- 16:59Speaker 10: this often to make me call. I'm trying to be
- 17:01Speaker 10: a question, but y'all not gonna lost me be a Christian.
- 17:05Speaker 10: She's gonna just gonna agitate me with this nest for
- 17:08Speaker 10: telling me about something.
- 17:08Speaker 7: Be nice, well, mam, that that son that they're having
- 17:11Speaker 7: problems when you're seeding the people, and that's all that
- 17:14Speaker 7: we're trying to get rectified.
- 17:15Speaker 10: People don't want to sit down. They want to go
- 17:17Speaker 10: over here, they want to go over there, They want
- 17:19Speaker 10: to have the children run a too, and so it's
- 17:21Speaker 10: like a bunch of demons a while he's just walking
- 17:24Speaker 10: around in the truch like they ain't got no sense.
- 17:26Speaker 10: And I'm not gonna have it in my section.
- 17:28Speaker 2: My section is gonna be strife, and I understand it.
- 17:31Speaker 7: Let you know what, sister, I think if we did this,
- 17:35Speaker 7: if you would do me a favor and hold your phone,
- 17:37Speaker 7: and if you would just bow your head right now
- 17:39Speaker 7: for me, maybe we can come to to get to
- 17:42Speaker 7: get the man up.
- 17:44Speaker 10: What am I buy my head for? I am if
- 17:49Speaker 10: we can fraus as clean as hospital coffee, it don't
- 17:51Speaker 10: make no trap off for what did I buy my head?
- 17:54Speaker 7: If you could, maybe if you could close your eyes, sister, sister,
- 17:58Speaker 7: I want to.
- 17:59Speaker 10: Close my say you called me and woke me up
- 18:01Speaker 10: out of my fleet with this mouse. Come on, come meet.
- 18:04Speaker 10: I am very knowing as this, and I don't appreciate it.
- 18:06Speaker 10: I'm gonna tell you right now, I'm.

- 20:50Speaker 1: God, Oh you're right coming up next, and is ask
- 20:55Speaker 1: the celo you're listening? Hardy Morning show up at the
- 21:00Speaker 1: top of the hour.
- 21:01Speaker 9: In entertainment news, the Beehives, Swifties and thousands of others
- 21:05Speaker 9: started a petition to get big name stars to publicly
- 21:08Speaker 9: endorse the Harris campaign. It's official breakdancing guys. Breakdancing is
- 21:14Speaker 9: no longer considered an Olympic sport.
- 21:19Speaker 2: In Australia.
- 21:21Speaker 1: She messed it up for everyone.
- 21:24Speaker 9: And Tyresee got trolled for his Marvin Gaye inspired performance
- 21:29Speaker 9: on Sunday. That's all coming up at the top of
- 21:31Speaker 9: the hour, but right now it is time soon to
- 21:35Speaker 9: ask the clo.
- 21:38Speaker 1: This is from Katrell in Little Rock Coatrell Rights.
- 21:40Speaker 9: I've been with my girl for a few months and
- 21:42Speaker 9: I didn't know she has an eleven year old daughter.
- 21:45Speaker 9: I heard her in the background last night and that's
- 21:47Speaker 9: when my girl told me about her. I know it's
- 21:50Speaker 9: her prerogative, but shouldn't she mention that upfront?
- 21:53Speaker 2: Wait? How long have they been taking?
- 21:55Speaker 1: Eleven months? A few months? A few months? The daughter's eleven?
- 22:00Speaker 2: Wow?
- 22:01Speaker 4: Well, I mean you know three or more? Yeah, I
- 22:06Speaker 4: don't know how you hide e lemme old, yeah, because
- 22:10Speaker 4: they need everything and you know, well a couple of things.
- 22:17Speaker 4: It's well, But then let me in defense of the woman,
- 22:23Speaker 4: did she discover that you weren't serious? Did she maybe
- 22:28Speaker 4: have the feeling that all you wanted was one thing,
- 22:31Speaker 4: and so I ain't no need of telling you about
- 22:33Speaker 4: her life because all y'all doing is talking.
- 22:36Speaker 2: Maybe she put you into friend zone.
- 22:39Speaker 4: Now, if you all have been seeing each other, seeing
- 22:43Speaker 4: seeing each other, you know, having relations and all of that,
- 22:47Speaker 4: then maybe she decided this ain't going nowhere You just
- 22:52Speaker 4: a little boy toy, and so she didn't tell you. Now,
- 22:57Speaker 4: if your concern is because you really feel and her
- 23:00Speaker 4: you're thinking about moving this thing forward, then yes, that's
- 23:05Speaker 4: important information. But now you have to ask yourself how
- 23:09Speaker 4: do you really feel about her? And is having the
- 23:13Speaker 4: baby a deal breaker for you?
- 23:17Speaker 2: And so there you have it. So those are the
- 23:19Speaker 2: things because it ain't help me. She ain't got to
- 23:21Speaker 2: tell you nothing, you know.
- 23:24Speaker 4: But that's but then let that be a lesson to
- 23:26Speaker 4: all when you ain't got to come out here and
- 23:28Speaker 4: and run your whole resume down to somebody that ain't
- 23:31Speaker 4: really qualified to.
- 23:32Speaker 2: Get the job.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Hello, Okay, all right, all right, I like.
- 23:40Speaker 6: That.
- 23:40Speaker 4: That's another part, you know, to introduce you to My
- 23:44Speaker 4: childhood is revolving doing here mass.
- 23:46Speaker 2: I'm waiting to see what.
- 23:46Speaker 9: You bout them, right, And it's only been a few
- 23:49Speaker 9: months all right. Moving on to Serena and Cincinnati. Serena writes,
- 23:54Speaker 9: my son's girlfriend called to borrow money from me for
- 23:57Speaker 9: my son's birthday party. Told her if she didn't have
- 24:01Speaker 9: the money, then she needs to do whatever she can afford.
- 24:04Speaker 9: She had a small party and she didn't invite me.
- 24:07Speaker 9: What kind of evil crap is that?
- 24:10Speaker 4: Well, you just told the girl you can't afford it.
- 24:14Speaker 4: Maybe she could feed thirty two people. You were thirty
- 24:16Speaker 4: three were out. You don't get to.
- 24:22Speaker 11: Say.
- 24:23Speaker 4: If you to help the girl throw the party, you
- 24:24Speaker 4: probably be in there getting cake and everything.
- 24:27Speaker 11: You know.
- 24:28Speaker 2: What kind of evil message that?
- 24:30Speaker 11: You know?
- 24:33Speaker 6: You know?
- 24:36Speaker 9: Moving on to Monique and What's Hollywood, Monique says, my
- 24:40Speaker 9: husband complains about money when I asked him to take
- 24:43Speaker 9: me out, but he treated three coworkers to food and
- 24:47Speaker 9: wine at happy hour and charged almost two hundred dollars
- 24:51Speaker 9: on a credit card. Why is it a problem when
- 24:53Speaker 9: I asked? But it's cool to do it for them, you.
- 24:57Speaker 4: Know, yeah, three of them working. One of them was
- 24:58Speaker 4: a woman you believe had Yeah, yeah, yeah, you know
- 25:05Speaker 4: what I'm saying. I ain't saying nothing, but that's what
- 25:10Speaker 4: I'm saying.
- 25:10Speaker 1: But you are saying, yeah, I'm just saying, you know,
- 25:14Speaker 1: so why is it so?
- 25:16Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 25:16Speaker 4: It was still what what is it?
- 25:17Speaker 2: Are they married?
- 25:19Speaker 1: Yeah, it's her husband.
- 25:20Speaker 2: Yeah, because it ain't just happy hour with her.
- 25:23Speaker 4: It's it's happy hour, early hour, evening hour, lunch hour
- 25:27Speaker 4: and everything. As do a lot of couples have that argument.
- 25:31Speaker 4: So you know, welcome to the club. They argue about
- 25:33Speaker 4: that all the time.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Money.
- 25:35Speaker 4: That ain't nothing new, Junior Tommy. You ever had argument
- 25:39Speaker 4: with your girl about some money?
- 25:41Speaker 12: Yeah?
- 25:42Speaker 4: Yes, and I'm not going to do I have dinner
- 25:45Speaker 4: and yeah, all that all in one day. See, all
- 25:48Speaker 4: my little coworkers wanted was a little happy hour. I
- 25:50Speaker 4: did too, you hear you? Is Christmas happy Hour, Valentine's Day,
- 25:55Speaker 4: Sweeties Day, Mother's Day, Anniversary, Birthday.
- 26:00Speaker 7: I love I love my wife, Dail, but you gotta
- 26:02Speaker 7: be prepared when we go. I got to care her shoes.
- 26:05Speaker 7: You gonna have two paths. Ain't gold wed either, got
- 26:07Speaker 7: the flip flop, got these other ones in the bag.
- 26:09Speaker 4: I got to care.
- 26:10Speaker 2: I got your lip gloss in my pocket.
- 26:12Speaker 1: All this because we can't fit it and our purse
- 26:15Speaker 1: is too tiny.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Hey, hey, get a bigger bag.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Yeah, this is an evening bag. We're out for the evening.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Every time we go somewhere, Steve, do you have a pocket?
- 26:25Speaker 6: Just can go?
- 26:26Speaker 11: You know?
- 26:26Speaker 4: Damn well, I got a pocket there, say hell, I
- 26:30Speaker 4: got some slacks.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Ain't got no pocket?
- 26:32Speaker 4: On what is the who you married to? I'm sitting
- 26:34Speaker 4: up in here with he little tight as little sailor
- 26:36Speaker 4: pasts on tomorrow.
- 26:37Speaker 11: I got.
- 26:40Speaker 4: Moving on to my nick.
- 26:41Speaker 1: I don't know if you helped Serena and Cincinnati or not.
- 26:44Speaker 1: I don't know. This is the last one.
- 26:46Speaker 9: Ellen Pensacola says, my husband, my son started kindergarten and
- 26:51Speaker 9: his stepmom showed up at the school to take pictures
- 26:53Speaker 9: for his dad. I felt like my joy was taken
- 26:56Speaker 9: away because she was there. My ex husband does not
- 26:59Speaker 9: understand like that upset me, Am, I being overly sensitive.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Okay, wait a minute. The step mother showed up at
- 27:09Speaker 2: the son's school to take pictures for his dad.
- 27:15Speaker 4: The stepmother who means she's now married to the man. Yes, yes, yes,
- 27:21Speaker 4: that showed up at the thing to take pictures for
- 27:25Speaker 4: her the little boy, for her current husband, who is
- 27:29Speaker 4: her ex husband, right right? I mean I understand the
- 27:33Speaker 4: lady peeling some kind of way, I got that. But
- 27:37Speaker 4: she went down there so her son, so her husband
- 27:40Speaker 4: could see, because you aren't gonna send him no damn
- 27:42Speaker 4: pictures what it is. You wasn't sending a damn picture,
- 27:48Speaker 4: So she went down there just to take pictures. So oh,
- 27:51Speaker 4: now she gladly went. Oh she wasn't even dressed like
- 28:01Speaker 4: the mama because some clingish short, low cut, you know.
- 28:09Speaker 4: And I understand the lady feeling some kind of way
- 28:12Speaker 4: because she wanted to sit there and have the moment herself,
- 28:15Speaker 4: but with her son. You know, that's what them blended
- 28:18Speaker 4: families do. And whether you wanted to or not. Being
- 28:28Speaker 4: like oil and water.
- 28:30Speaker 1: Well, how come the ex husband doesn't understand why she.
- 28:33Speaker 4: Was so upset?
- 28:34Speaker 1: That's what she wants to know. And is she being
- 28:35Speaker 1: overly sensitive?
- 28:37Speaker 4: Well, I mean from his standpoint, yeah, because he want
- 28:40Speaker 4: to see pictures of his son. So his current wife
- 28:43Speaker 4: went down there to take pictures. You know what, y'all
- 28:47Speaker 4: y'all ain't had to go down there and make no
- 28:49Speaker 4: scene about it or nothing, you know, but you upset
- 28:52Speaker 4: with him, but he and he's right in not understanding
- 28:57Speaker 4: your viewpoint. He really is, because he got to side
- 29:02Speaker 4: with his current wife that's why y'all ain't married.
- 29:04Speaker 2: Now, all right, Coelo, Yeah he learned that, lessen so now.
- 29:13Speaker 9: All right, coming up at the top of the hour,
- 29:15Speaker 9: Thank you, Celo Entertainment News.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening hard Morning Show.
- 29:23Speaker 9: A new petition on the site move on dot org
- 29:27Speaker 9: specifically calls for performers to publicly endorse Kamala Harris for president.
- 29:32Speaker 1: Over twenty five thousand people have already.
- 29:34Speaker 9: Signed it, and they asked that Beyonce and Taylor Swift
- 29:37Speaker 9: and quote other musicians use their platforms to get out
- 29:41Speaker 9: the vote, stressing that it's important for them to tap
- 29:43Speaker 9: into their fan bases to reach, energize, and activate all
- 29:47Speaker 9: of the newly eligible Gen Z voters. We do know
- 29:51Speaker 9: that Beyonce has pretty much endorsed Kamala Harris already by
- 29:56Speaker 9: allowing her to use her song Freedom Freedom is used
- 29:59Speaker 9: as Harris's campaign anthem, And uh, what do you think
- 30:02Speaker 9: about that, Steve?
- 30:05Speaker 4: You know, celebrities can do it however they want to
- 30:08Speaker 4: do it, you know, because you can't. You can't force
- 30:10Speaker 4: a person to do it your way. I mean, for example,
- 30:13Speaker 4: I'm a celebrity, Tommy's a celebrity, Junior's a celebrity. You know,
- 30:17Speaker 4: y'all celebrities, but you just have to you know, issue
- 30:20Speaker 4: your way. I got a four hour radio show and
- 30:24Speaker 4: we are pushing the vote here for real. We are
- 30:28Speaker 4: pushing the vote and we are pro Kamala Harris. Period
- 30:34Speaker 4: and and and that's it now, all that old posted
- 30:37Speaker 4: and stuff. The same people see the post. So, I mean,
- 30:42Speaker 4: I understand they trying to get as much they can,
- 30:46Speaker 4: but that's up to being Taylor Swift and all of them.
- 30:49Speaker 4: You know, Taylor Swift came out and was supporting Joe Biden.
- 30:53Speaker 4: So but I don't you And if you keep phone
- 31:00Speaker 4: now that damn be high.
- 31:04Speaker 1: That's not what you want.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Yeah, you can asked on what you had over your mouth.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Now be careful.
- 31:11Speaker 4: Because I'm telling you right now, I'm I'm a direct,
- 31:15Speaker 4: I'm a correspondent and a fan of the Behid.
- 31:19Speaker 2: As a matter of fact, I'm an honorary member of
- 31:23Speaker 2: the High.
- 31:26Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 31:28Speaker 2: I have seen them. Man, they about to be business man.
- 31:32Speaker 9: Bottom line, if you if you support Kamala harris's your
- 31:36Speaker 9: platform to do just that.
- 31:38Speaker 6: Well.
- 31:38Speaker 1: See this next story is not shocking news to any
- 31:41Speaker 1: of us.
- 31:42Speaker 9: It looks like Olympic breakdancing will not be making a
- 31:47Speaker 9: return to the twenty twenty Games in Los Angeles.
- 31:50Speaker 4: Okay, oh that to that white lady from Australia, right, thank.
- 31:54Speaker 6: You, every.
- 31:56Speaker 2: Hand down by herself.
- 31:58Speaker 1: They call it breaking.
- 32:00Speaker 9: It made its debut in the Paris Olympics this year
- 32:03Speaker 9: in hopes that it would attract younger social media viewers
- 32:06Speaker 9: and add more excitement overall, but it did not have
- 32:10Speaker 9: the staying power that the Olympic Committee thought it would.
- 32:13Speaker 9: According to the committee's president, so far, breaking is the
- 32:17Speaker 9: only sport officially leaving the Olympics.
- 32:19Speaker 1: For twenty twenty eight.
- 32:21Speaker 9: So you guys, don't sound like you're surprised. Why do
- 32:25Speaker 9: you think it didn't make the cut?
- 32:27Speaker 1: Because it was because it was Come on, how do
- 32:31Speaker 1: you have breaking break dance?
- 32:34Speaker 4: Breaking came from New York, Brooklyn, to be exact, And
- 32:40Speaker 4: how in the hell you have an event like that
- 32:44Speaker 4: and you ain't got no blacks and no Latinos? Are
- 32:47Speaker 4: you out your mind? Have you completely lost your mind?
- 32:53Speaker 4: I know so many people who would have dismantled anybody
- 33:00Speaker 4: I saw, including the winners. Yeah, please, it's really that
- 33:06Speaker 4: lady from Australia.
- 33:08Speaker 3: Can you keep going.
- 33:09Speaker 12: Back to her, but quick correction seems break dance at
- 33:13Speaker 12: the Bronx in New York.
- 33:15Speaker 2: Oh yeah, the Bronx.
- 33:16Speaker 1: Oh Bronx. Yeah, boogie down, book down Bronx. All right,
- 33:20Speaker 1: last story, guys.
- 33:21Speaker 4: We're moving on yourself right here. We're gonna have some
- 33:23Speaker 4: flags hanging on people in there.
- 33:27Speaker 12: They say that's coming to the Olympics in twenty eight flag.
- 33:30Speaker 4: That's better than breakdance, all right.
- 33:34Speaker 9: Moving on to Tyresse, guys, in his attempt to channel
- 33:36Speaker 9: Marvin Gay for his performance of the national anthem on
- 33:39Speaker 9: Sunday's La Rams versus the Dallas Cowboys pre season game. Well,
- 33:45Speaker 9: Tyrese wore an afro, he wore a full beard onto
- 33:48Speaker 9: the field, and social media has been having a field
- 33:51Speaker 9: day with his comments, with their comments. See if you
- 33:55Speaker 9: remember back in seventy fourth, it was nineteen seventy four
- 33:57Speaker 9: when Marvin Gay sang at the Cowboys Raider game. You
- 34:00Speaker 9: remember that, Well, that's where Tyresee got.
- 34:03Speaker 1: His Nobody remember that at all fans trolled.
- 34:10Speaker 2: That was fifty years ago. Half the people on line
- 34:12Speaker 2: weren't even here.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, he got for his appearance.
- 34:18Speaker 4: And for it. But you know what, I think what
- 34:22Speaker 4: would have helped Tyrese out if he would have announced,
- 34:26Speaker 4: But it's a preseason game first of all, a game
- 34:30Speaker 4: of no significance, you know, but if you're gonna do it,
- 34:33Speaker 4: you probably should have said, hey, y'all, I'm about to
- 34:37Speaker 4: do to that.
- 34:37Speaker 2: Because he'd be online all the time.
- 34:39Speaker 4: He probably should have just said, hey, y'all are finn
- 34:41Speaker 4: to pay tribute to Marvin Gay y'all stay tuned, and
- 34:44Speaker 4: most people would understood it because when you walk out
- 34:47Speaker 4: there and you don't look like Marvin.
- 34:49Speaker 12: I mean, yeah, but even if you would have said
- 34:53Speaker 12: that at the game, if you don't follow him in
- 34:55Speaker 12: the preseason fans that they'd be like, what now, what's that?
- 35:00Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 35:00Speaker 1: Yeah, Well Tyrese did respond to the critics.
- 35:04Speaker 2: It's too many people didn't know.
- 35:08Speaker 9: The Yeah, he responded to the To the critics, he said,
- 35:12Speaker 9: thank you. You're always welcome here. Respectfully, I don't really
- 35:16Speaker 9: know if I agree a few bad notes me. That's
- 35:21Speaker 9: an open mic for you. God is the greatest. We
- 35:24Speaker 9: live in the country. We live in the best country
- 35:27Speaker 9: in the world. And I really really tried, That's what
- 35:30Speaker 9: Tyree said.
- 35:32Speaker 2: I really really tried, and I really really.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Tried to do a great job. Yeah, Tyres can sing.
- 35:39Speaker 1: I mean, no question, no one's that's.
- 35:42Speaker 2: What I said. That's what I said at the Miss
- 35:45Speaker 2: Universe pageant that I really really try.
- 35:49Speaker 1: Oh hanging their tyres.
- 35:55Speaker 9: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour of new
- 35:57Speaker 9: survey shows with black mothers are mostly concerned about in
- 36:02Speaker 9: this election.
- 36:03Speaker 1: We'll get into it right after this. You're listening hard
- 36:07Speaker 1: morning show.
- 36:08Speaker 9: The Current Project, a nonprofit focused on the needs of
- 36:12Speaker 9: black single mothers, has revealed that sixty nine percent of
- 36:16Speaker 9: black mothers are deeply worried about the future of the
- 36:18Speaker 9: country for their children's sake, and fifty five percent like
- 36:22Speaker 9: faith in elected leaders. As many face struggles to stay
- 36:25Speaker 9: afloat in this rough economy, They find it harder to
- 36:29Speaker 9: cover basic expenses, and fifty one percent struggle with keeping
- 36:32Speaker 9: food on the table. The research was gathered in hopes
- 36:35Speaker 9: that voters will strongly consider voting for the right candidate
- 36:39Speaker 9: for president and put the right leaders in key positions
- 36:43Speaker 9: to enact positive change. So that's where the black mothers
- 36:46Speaker 9: are concerned about. The according to the Current Project, that's
- 36:51Speaker 9: a nonprofit which.
- 36:52Speaker 4: Focuses on you know, like when it comes to this
- 36:55Speaker 4: presidential election, let me just say this clearly, as a
- 36:59Speaker 4: person who has been put in a position to be
- 37:02Speaker 4: at the table of all different types of people and
- 37:07Speaker 4: especially being able to sit around people who are considered wealthy,
- 37:13Speaker 4: I can tell you right now the conversation that's being
- 37:16Speaker 4: had is that the reason that Donald Trump has the
- 37:21Speaker 4: financial support that he has, like you know, like you know,
- 37:26Speaker 4: like after he got the attempted shooting and he got
- 37:29Speaker 4: hurt and wounded, that they talked about how much money
- 37:33Speaker 4: came into his campaign. It is a proven fact that
- 37:37Speaker 4: the money that comes in from his campaign is from
- 37:40Speaker 4: wealthy donors. They vote for Donald Trump because they are
- 37:46Speaker 4: voting for their pocket, because he is going to enact
- 37:50Speaker 4: policies that will benefit them on the tax scaling, other
- 37:56Speaker 4: things like that. For you to be a person who
- 38:00Speaker 4: was trying to raise a family, work hard, climb the
- 38:04Speaker 4: corporate ladder, pull yourself up by your bootstraps, accomplish some
- 38:08Speaker 4: things in life. If you think that Donald Trump cares
- 38:13Speaker 4: about what's happening to you, you are seriously and sadly mistaken.
- 38:17Speaker 4: If you go back to when he was president, show
- 38:19Speaker 4: me one policy that helped poor people.
- 38:23Speaker 2: Nothing. I can't that.
- 38:25Speaker 4: I'm hell you man, all them, all them industry jobs.
- 38:29Speaker 4: He promised to come back nothing, all them coal mining jobs.
- 38:33Speaker 4: He told people he's gonna bring back nothing. The dude, don't.
- 38:36Speaker 2: He didn't do the infrastructure bill like he said he
- 38:39Speaker 2: was gonna do it nothing.
- 38:41Speaker 4: Oh you got poor, But you got the white people
- 38:43Speaker 4: that want to vote for him. Well, because see the
- 38:47Speaker 4: well you know, the Republicans are expert at scrambling the message.
- 38:50Speaker 4: Now he got he got y'all thinking that the border
- 38:53Speaker 4: patrol is the biggest problem we got in this country,
- 38:56Speaker 4: right when they are the biggest hirer of the people
- 39:01Speaker 4: who come over the border. Rich people hire more than
- 39:04Speaker 4: when the last time you've seen a poor person high
- 39:06Speaker 4: and illegal?
- 39:07Speaker 1: Ay, I mean, yeah, yeah, I get what you're saying.
- 39:16Speaker 2: I'm waiting.
- 39:17Speaker 1: You're waiting coming up at thirty four minutes after.
- 39:19Speaker 9: The all over his golf courses, though, Tommy's gonna need
- 39:24Speaker 9: your help with something coming up, Steve.
- 39:27Speaker 1: He wants us to hear it too. Right after this,
- 39:31Speaker 1: you're listening Morning Show. All right, here we go, Tommy,
- 39:37Speaker 1: what is it today?
- 39:39Speaker 11: All right?
- 39:40Speaker 4: Just come on, man, Why you got your hand all
- 39:43Speaker 4: over your face?
- 39:43Speaker 2: Listen?
- 39:46Speaker 7: Why I didn't kind of just a little bit. I
- 39:49Speaker 7: didn't kind of put my foot in my mom lit bit. Okay,
- 39:53Speaker 7: some friends that I can, I can get the boat
- 39:57Speaker 7: that my off was on for his Vaca. Wow, I didn't.
- 40:03Speaker 7: I didn't kind of put my foot in my mind
- 40:05Speaker 7: a little bit. So what I'm asking is, you know,
- 40:08Speaker 7: well we I know it can't be just me and
- 40:10Speaker 7: Jackie on there, so we're gonna, you know, in order
- 40:12Speaker 7: to get this money.
- 40:13Speaker 4: Right, So how many rooms is it?
- 40:15Speaker 7: Because I want to know how many couples I can
- 40:17Speaker 7: have so I can try to figure out how to
- 40:19Speaker 7: make this work.
- 40:20Speaker 4: That's all.
- 40:20Speaker 8: I mean.
- 40:21Speaker 2: How much?
- 40:22Speaker 7: And is it any way you can get me your
- 40:25Speaker 7: kind of discount that you get when you want it,
- 40:27Speaker 7: that's what I'm I'm well, yeah, ah, that's true. You
- 40:31Speaker 7: can have up to twelve guests.
- 40:33Speaker 2: You and twelve okay, that's six couples, all right.
- 40:37Speaker 4: You can sell with maximum twelve people. That are charters
- 40:41Speaker 4: out there that allow you to do more, but those
- 40:44Speaker 4: are special charters.
- 40:45Speaker 2: Okay.
- 40:46Speaker 4: The average boat, no matter how big, sells sixteen twelve, sixteen.
- 40:52Speaker 7: Now twelve us you I heard you mentioned, you know,
- 40:55Speaker 7: the cooking and all that. That seems to be a
- 40:57Speaker 7: big crist and everything.
- 40:59Speaker 4: Is it?
- 40:59Speaker 7: Any way we can get them people off of the boat,
- 41:01Speaker 7: and I just bring some people who I know can cook.
- 41:05Speaker 7: You know, I'm just I mean people that's in the
- 41:08Speaker 7: family that I know can cook. Are people in these
- 41:10Speaker 7: comp people are not finna Let you do that. They're
- 41:13Speaker 7: not finna.
- 41:14Speaker 6: Let you do that.
- 41:15Speaker 12: Oh so one of the people. So the couple, if
- 41:17Speaker 12: somebody kicking, I'm making yes, yeah, So why would I
- 41:22Speaker 12: need them other people on there? Because I don't need
- 41:23Speaker 12: them people. So I'm just trying to limitate. So, you know,
- 41:27Speaker 12: the couple that own this is it? There you go,
- 41:32Speaker 12: you're gonna do you want to invite them on the trip,
- 41:36Speaker 12: but they're gonna have to cook and and me and
- 41:40Speaker 12: and me and them people from this is it? Then
- 41:42Speaker 12: got a hook up on the lady that stole the wangs.
- 41:46Speaker 12: You know, we talked about her yesterday.
- 41:48Speaker 2: The chicken wing. So we got we got four hundred
- 41:53Speaker 2: pounds of chicken wings. So we're gonna have wings.
- 41:55Speaker 4: But matter of fact, do they have a deep pride
- 41:57Speaker 4: on the boat or you need to bring your all
- 42:00Speaker 4: do Hey man, hey, hey, hey, hey, let's stop this
- 42:02Speaker 4: conversation right now.
- 42:03Speaker 2: Let me help you understand something. What they're not finn
- 42:06Speaker 2: to do. No, no, no, no no, they're not having
- 42:08Speaker 2: that out here.
- 42:10Speaker 4: They don't do that out here, Tommy, And you're coming
- 42:14Speaker 4: out here talking about, know, bringing extra people, all this
- 42:17Speaker 4: talking about they don't care how you split it.
- 42:21Speaker 2: They get all their money up front. This ain't no
- 42:23Speaker 2: pay as you go.
- 42:26Speaker 7: I'm just eliminating so I don't need to. I don't
- 42:29Speaker 7: need to cook it. Matter of fact and say this
- 42:30Speaker 7: is we don't need to. We don't need the main
- 42:33Speaker 7: service either. Everybody going to clean their own room and
- 42:36Speaker 7: watch they dishes when they get through.
- 42:37Speaker 2: Will everybody watch they this is when they get why
- 42:40Speaker 2: are you even going on vacation?
- 42:43Speaker 4: And why are you at charge?
- 42:46Speaker 2: Why don't you lay your cheap ass at home?
- 42:49Speaker 4: Why are you going on vacation cooking cleaning your own room?
- 42:54Speaker 7: I told them I could get the boat from you.
- 42:57Speaker 7: Everybody knows me, and you've connected.
- 42:59Speaker 6: You know that.
- 42:59Speaker 7: I'm to tell them I could get the boat from you.
- 43:02Speaker 7: Come on, man, that make me look good in front
- 43:03Speaker 7: of them. His friends don't do that.
- 43:07Speaker 2: Don't do that. Y'all gonna split the cost of them. Yeah,
- 43:10Speaker 2: oh yeah, oh hell yeah.
- 43:11Speaker 7: Me and Jack ain't with me and jack just man
- 43:13Speaker 7: with me and huh every couple of paper theyself we
- 43:15Speaker 7: splitting even everybody bringing they.
- 43:17Speaker 1: Can on the coolers, said.
- 43:29Speaker 3: Coople.
- 43:30Speaker 2: Boat with that mess right there.
- 43:32Speaker 4: You can't come in there and bringing out coolers on
- 43:34Speaker 4: these damn people, boat Man. And you can't split it
- 43:39Speaker 4: even because you know you have a master cabin which
- 43:43Speaker 4: is called the Owner's Suite. That's the special.
- 43:47Speaker 2: Yes, called the MA.
- 43:50Speaker 4: They got all the operating stuff in there, so something.
- 43:53Speaker 4: So you and Jackie gonna get that one, and everybody
- 43:55Speaker 4: else is gonna get a cabin.
- 43:57Speaker 1: Okay there, you guys have to pay for carnival cruise.
- 44:04Speaker 4: Most of the master sweets. Tommy have takes his and
- 44:08Speaker 4: her clauses.
- 44:09Speaker 7: Urry this take regular glance games of Unlitited plus which
- 44:13Speaker 7: one is oh no, no, no no no, this diesel.
- 44:18Speaker 9: The ignorance continues on this show, coming up next to
- 44:22Speaker 9: the Nephew.
- 44:23Speaker 1: And Today's prank phone call. Right after this, you're listening
- 44:29Speaker 1: Hard Morning show.
- 44:32Speaker 9: Coming up at four minutes after the hour. Uh, it's
- 44:35Speaker 9: today's Strawberry letter. The subject is I should tell him
- 44:38Speaker 9: before marriage. We'll find out what that's all about.
- 44:42Speaker 11: You.
- 44:43Speaker 9: Yeah, because right now it is time for the prank
- 44:46Speaker 9: phone call with the nephew, and nephew, what you.
- 44:48Speaker 2: Got for us?
- 44:49Speaker 7: Uh? You know, every now and then I step out
- 44:51Speaker 7: on that on that over that line where you're not
- 44:53Speaker 7: supposed to cross. You know, sometime you step out here
- 44:57Speaker 7: and uh, you know, when you in the middle little
- 45:00Speaker 7: prank of teering, you know, like I did when I'm
- 45:02Speaker 7: prank of teering. You know, sometimes I get caught out
- 45:04Speaker 7: there and sometimes people scare me a little bit, you know.
- 45:06Speaker 7: I got to be honest about that. And then this
- 45:08Speaker 7: one right here, Yeah, yeah, this one right here kind
- 45:11Speaker 7: of caught me off.
- 45:11Speaker 2: God, kind of. I got a little scared.
- 45:13Speaker 7: I mean I stayed in there, you know, as the
- 45:16Speaker 7: prankster that I am, I stayed in there. But my
- 45:18Speaker 7: heart did drop a couple of times. This is right
- 45:20Speaker 7: here is called Jean. I got your girl. Jean, I
- 45:25Speaker 7: got your girl.
- 45:27Speaker 2: Let's go Hello speedy Jean. Yeah, my name Vernon Brother
- 45:34Speaker 2: was playing what's going on?
- 45:35Speaker 7: I need to holler at you for a minute of
- 45:37Speaker 7: my mind about what I want to holler at you
- 45:39Speaker 7: about your wife. So you got a minute. I don't
- 45:43Speaker 7: even know how to breakfast to your dog. I just
- 45:44Speaker 7: want to be straight up with you. Man, me and
- 45:46Speaker 7: your wife been kind of seeing each other, and uh,
- 45:50Speaker 7: really she wanted to let you go. But she ain't
- 45:53Speaker 7: you know, she really ain't got it, got it up
- 45:56Speaker 7: in or to say she want to let you go.
- 45:58Speaker 7: So I'm coming to you like a man and letting
- 46:01Speaker 7: you know. You know that, Uh, she really wanted to
- 46:04Speaker 7: shut it down with you. We've been seeing each other
- 46:06Speaker 7: for a minute now, so I don't know how we can.
- 46:10Speaker 7: You know, I'm just coming at you like a man brother,
- 46:12Speaker 7: trying to let you know she don't even really want
- 46:15Speaker 7: you no more. You know, we done talked about it,
- 46:18Speaker 7: talked about it, and uh, I'm just trying to get
- 46:21Speaker 7: it all.
- 46:22Speaker 11: I know.
- 46:23Speaker 2: I'm tired.
- 46:23Speaker 7: I'm tired of hiding with it. Really, Okay, Okay, Well
- 46:28Speaker 7: you know it's a lot smooth than I expected.
- 46:30Speaker 2: Player, It is what it is.
- 46:35Speaker 7: I mean, long as long as you, long as you cool,
- 46:37Speaker 7: I thought, you know, I just want to be a
- 46:39Speaker 7: man called and how I let you let you know?
- 46:41Speaker 2: Have you seen her today? And where are you from
- 46:44Speaker 2: from Jersey? I'm around Newark.
- 46:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 46:48Speaker 11: I mean you said it's a lot smoother than you
- 46:50Speaker 11: thought it was gonna be well.
- 46:51Speaker 7: You know, anytime something another man from the call another
- 46:55Speaker 7: man by his wife. I mean, yeah, you don't expect
- 46:57Speaker 7: it to be done, you know, pretty simple, that's for sure.
- 47:00Speaker 7: I didn't contemplate it a long time by calling you,
- 47:02Speaker 7: so you know today I just said to him with.
- 47:06Speaker 2: So I've been had your number. I had your number
- 47:09Speaker 2: a long time.
- 47:15Speaker 6: God.
- 47:15Speaker 11: Now you say you're looking, there's a lot smooth than
- 47:18Speaker 11: you thought it was gonna be. It ain't that smooth.
- 47:20Speaker 11: But you know you don't. You know, like the thing is,
- 47:24Speaker 11: you got one up on it because you know my information.
- 47:27Speaker 11: Now I'll come fin you.
- 47:28Speaker 7: Okay, wait wait, wait, wait, hold up now good? You
- 47:31Speaker 7: feel like no, hold up because you feel like you
- 47:35Speaker 7: need to be looking for me or something. Brother, look
- 47:38Speaker 7: look at it. Let's check this out. This is a
- 47:40Speaker 7: decision that the wife has made. You understand what I'm saying.
- 47:43Speaker 7: So you have no reason to be mad at me
- 47:45Speaker 7: about anything. You have no reason to be coming looking
- 47:48Speaker 7: for me or any information on me, because see, when
- 47:50Speaker 7: that happens, then it's gonna really get stinky up in here.
- 47:53Speaker 2: And I'm trying not to let that happen.
- 47:55Speaker 4: That's why I'm calling you like a man, brother, trust.
- 47:58Speaker 11: Me saying it ain't nothing that I'm never worried about.
- 48:00Speaker 7: Okay, Well, I'm just letting you know, man, I'm letting
- 48:02Speaker 7: you know up front, she with me and her contemplated
- 48:05Speaker 7: a long time.
- 48:05Speaker 2: Yalla, YadA. So now you know here we are. So
- 48:08Speaker 2: I said, you know, what the hell with it? I'm
- 48:09Speaker 2: calling today.
- 48:12Speaker 11: Y'all should have did it on the phone together out
- 48:14Speaker 11: of respect that both y'all a lot more.
- 48:15Speaker 7: Okay, Well, you know, and then you know, if that's
- 48:17Speaker 7: what it's got to be, we be face to face together,
- 48:19Speaker 7: whatever it's gotta be, man, I prefer you know. Okay,
- 48:24Speaker 7: So but let me ask you this, where is going there?
- 48:26Speaker 7: Once we both staying flat footed and tell you how
- 48:28Speaker 7: it is?
- 48:29Speaker 2: Then what.
- 48:31Speaker 11: I ain't gonna never be flat footed?
- 48:32Speaker 7: Okay, well, flat footed or upside down any way you
- 48:36Speaker 7: want to look at it. Bro, I'm trying not to
- 48:38Speaker 7: get into this physical part, but it seemed like you
- 48:40Speaker 7: leaning that way with me.
- 48:42Speaker 11: It could be with up you know, it could be
- 48:44Speaker 11: on this side of the dirt of the other side.
- 48:45Speaker 11: It don't make a difference.
- 48:46Speaker 2: It never does, brother, It never does. When two bulls
- 48:50Speaker 2: come together, one of them got to go down.
- 48:52Speaker 11: Well, guess what we are doing? Too much talking? You
- 48:54Speaker 11: got my information? Guess what now I'm lot loaded than
- 48:57Speaker 11: hunting for you?
- 48:58Speaker 2: Do you lock and loaded?
- 49:00Speaker 11: There's no need for you to say, there's no need
- 49:01Speaker 11: for us to discuss anymore.
- 49:03Speaker 2: Okay, cool?
- 49:04Speaker 7: You know matter while we're at it, man, let me
- 49:06Speaker 7: go and drop it all on you then, because it
- 49:08Speaker 7: seemed like we need to go and get it all
- 49:09Speaker 7: out the way.
- 49:10Speaker 6: You cool?
- 49:11Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 49:13Speaker 7: I think you need you know, matter of fact, if
- 49:14Speaker 7: you want to just keep it all the way real,
- 49:16Speaker 7: you might want to go take a blood test about
- 49:18Speaker 7: Alana and make sure.
- 49:20Speaker 2: You to pop it to that. All right, feel me?
- 49:24Speaker 11: Got it?
- 49:25Speaker 7: So I'm gonna have your wife get your car man,
- 49:28Speaker 7: because we didn't contemplate it too long at it's time.
- 49:31Speaker 11: Yeah, you do that. You know my information? Like I said,
- 49:33Speaker 11: you said enough, you hit enough bones there. Now I'm
- 49:36Speaker 11: really at one hundred for somebody. So you know what
- 49:40Speaker 11: I mean, somebody got to go.
- 49:42Speaker 2: What you mean, what's all this? Somebody got to go.
- 49:46Speaker 7: What you're saying, somebody got to go go, Like okay,
- 49:49Speaker 7: you're talking about either me or you. One of us
- 49:51Speaker 7: got to go because you're saying the wrong thing. Because
- 49:54Speaker 7: what you must understand is if I'm giving you as
- 49:56Speaker 7: much information as I already have, that means I have
- 49:58Speaker 7: enough information to know where you are. You know nothing
- 50:01Speaker 7: about me norway I resigne. So if you're gonna talk
- 50:03Speaker 7: about locking load, then somebody got to go. Then you're
- 50:06Speaker 7: saying it to the wrong person. Because I'm already up
- 50:08Speaker 7: on you.
- 50:08Speaker 2: Player. You got to talk.
- 50:10Speaker 11: First off, you ain't really annoyed because it got a
- 50:13Speaker 11: country accent. So second off, like you're dealing with a
- 50:16Speaker 11: real street So however you want to handle it, you
- 50:19Speaker 11: know my informission. Guess what, I don't reside the more
- 50:21Speaker 11: I ain't dealing no more. Guess what Now you gotta
- 50:24Speaker 11: start from scratch like me.
- 50:26Speaker 2: I'll tell you what. Here go the math man. You
- 50:28Speaker 2: ready for that? You ready for this?
- 50:30Speaker 4: Math?
- 50:32Speaker 2: You ready to plan? Here go to math.
- 50:34Speaker 7: This nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You've
- 50:36Speaker 7: been pranked by your wife. I'm a killer, yeah black man,

- 50:55Speaker 4: What's the baddest radio morning show.
- 50:57Speaker 11: In the land, Steve Harvey Show.
- 51:03Speaker 4: You see what I mean? How I got to worry
- 51:07Speaker 4: on that.
- 51:10Speaker 2: As you should be.
- 51:12Speaker 4: Yeah, I was concerned for you because this dude right here,
- 51:14Speaker 4: he he ain't stopped eating the whole time.
- 51:18Speaker 2: Are the gonna go that smooth for you play? Yeah?
- 51:21Speaker 4: Yeah, he'll hear the one when I knew he was
- 51:23Speaker 4: in trouble time he say. He said, yeah, you got
- 51:25Speaker 4: one up on me. But you know, because you know
- 51:28Speaker 4: who I am, I got to confine you though. Yeah,
- 51:34Speaker 4: they got well, say, all right, I like Joey you
- 51:39Speaker 4: tried to act real smooth with his hands or something, player.
- 51:44Speaker 2: Calling you like a man. Yeah, but I could see
- 51:48Speaker 2: you tender rising as it went along.
- 51:51Speaker 4: Because he was he was sprinkling Adolphs all over your
- 51:55Speaker 4: ass the whole time he was talking and me tender
- 51:58Speaker 4: rise and he was just on your ass.
- 52:01Speaker 2: I said, I tell me, I saw your voice go.
- 52:04Speaker 4: Yeah, I kind of.
- 52:05Speaker 7: Cracked a little bit, right, nephew till me house part

- 54:20Speaker 9: Thank you for your subject. I should tell him before marriage.
- 54:25Speaker 9: Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a twenty nine year old engaged woman,
- 54:29Speaker 9: but my husband doesn't know.
- 54:30Speaker 1: I have a big secret.
- 54:32Speaker 9: We've been dating for almost seven years, and before we met,
- 54:35Speaker 9: I slept with two of his brothers in his fraternity.
- 54:40Speaker 9: God it was graduation night and we had a house
- 54:45Speaker 9: party and things got wild in the bathroom with two
- 54:48Speaker 9: of my girlfriends and the two guys. There were five
- 54:52Speaker 9: of us, so it wasn't like I'm meant to sleep
- 54:54Speaker 9: with his fraternity brothers. My boyfriend was at this party too,
- 54:58Speaker 9: but he had no idea where I was. We were
- 55:02Speaker 9: all so wasted that we could not remember all the
- 55:04Speaker 9: details to tell anyone about it. A few months after
- 55:08Speaker 9: that happened, my boyfriend told me that he cheated on
- 55:11Speaker 9: me with someone I knew, and I was very hurt,
- 55:14Speaker 9: but I could not break up with him because I
- 55:16Speaker 9: knew what I had done to him. I let it
- 55:18Speaker 9: go and we moved in with each other and have
- 55:21Speaker 9: been together for years. Just a week ago, I ran
- 55:24Speaker 9: into one of the guys that I had sex with,
- 55:27Speaker 9: and he was joking about that wild night we had
- 55:30Speaker 9: in the bathroom. He said, it is amazing that I
- 55:33Speaker 9: got a good man like my fiance. I told him
- 55:36Speaker 9: what we did was once in a lifetime. It was
- 55:39Speaker 9: a once in a lifetime thing when I was younger,
- 55:41Speaker 9: and I haven't done anything like that since then. He
- 55:44Speaker 9: made me feel nasty by the way he looked at me.
- 55:47Speaker 9: He said, he's planning to come to our wedding. I
- 55:49Speaker 9: want to tell my fiance how crazy the guy talked
- 55:52Speaker 9: to me, but I can't because I have to tell
- 55:55Speaker 9: the host.
- 55:55Speaker 1: I'd have to tell the whole story.
- 55:57Speaker 9: I decided to tell my fiance I was so wasted
- 56:01Speaker 9: that all I remember was going to the bathroom.
- 56:03Speaker 1: And guys were in there.
- 56:05Speaker 9: But he'll want to know what guys were in there
- 56:08Speaker 9: when I tell him, Do I have to tell everything?
- 56:11Speaker 6: Well?
- 56:12Speaker 1: Yeah, once you started, I mean he's going to be
- 56:15Speaker 1: asking you questions and all of that.
- 56:17Speaker 9: It's going to open the door and it's going to
- 56:19Speaker 9: all come to light if you start that it was
- 56:21Speaker 9: a long time ago and you were very young. Okay,
- 56:25Speaker 9: you said you don't remember everything that happened that night,
- 56:28Speaker 9: It's not an excuse.
- 56:29Speaker 1: It's just that everyone when they're young.
- 56:31Speaker 9: Does really, really stupid stuff, especially when alcohol is involved.
- 56:37Speaker 9: And you do know there's a double standard, and your
- 56:39Speaker 9: man will judge you not only because of what you did,
- 56:42Speaker 9: but who you did. His frat brothers are off limits.
- 56:47Speaker 9: But what's done is done now and that's that. However,
- 56:50Speaker 9: you are under no obligation to tell him about your past.
- 56:53Speaker 9: I mean, the past is just that, the past, and
- 56:56Speaker 9: you can't change what happened, So don't dwell on it.
- 56:59Speaker 9: Don't tell him. Ask yourself, what is telling him gonna do?
- 57:03Speaker 1: What is that gonna do?
- 57:05Speaker 9: If you do tell him, be prepared that he's gonna
- 57:07Speaker 9: be mad and he might leave you because he can't
- 57:09Speaker 9: deal with the fact that the guys you were with
- 57:11Speaker 9: were his fraternity brothers.
- 57:12Speaker 4: Steve, all right, this is a real simple letter. I
- 57:15Speaker 4: don't know how I can take a long time with this.
- 57:17Speaker 4: I don't know how I can draw this out into
- 57:19Speaker 4: two breaks, because this is not a two break letter.
- 57:22Speaker 4: You are twenty nine years old. Back in college, you
- 57:26Speaker 4: were twenty twenty one. Graduation night, you was in the bathroom,
- 57:30Speaker 4: you and two of your girlfriends and two guys at
- 57:33Speaker 4: a party, some guy out of hand. All y'all had sex.
- 57:36Speaker 4: Your boyfriend was at the party. Two It just so
- 57:40Speaker 4: happened that two of the dudes that was in the
- 57:41Speaker 4: bathroom was his frat brothers. Horrible judgment, just a bad
- 57:49Speaker 4: judgment call.
- 57:50Speaker 2: You just made a.
- 57:51Speaker 4: Poor decision that night. Prisons are full of good people
- 57:58Speaker 4: who made bad decisions.
- 58:00Speaker 2: Full of man.
- 58:01Speaker 4: There's some great dudes and women sitting in prisons all
- 58:05Speaker 4: over this country that made a bad decision. You made
- 58:09Speaker 4: a bad decision. It's twenty nine years old, and now
- 58:13Speaker 4: you're marrying the guy who was at the party. But
- 58:16Speaker 4: what happened is you run up into the guy you
- 58:18Speaker 4: had sex with, and now he looking at you crazy,
- 58:21Speaker 4: made you feel nasty, talk to you a little bit crazy.
- 58:24Speaker 4: Now you say you want to go tell your boyfriend
- 58:28Speaker 4: about this secret. Now you didn't tell him in the beginning,
- 58:31Speaker 4: because he ended up telling you he cheated with one
- 58:35Speaker 4: of your friends, a girl you knew, and you was
- 58:38Speaker 4: hurt by it, but you didn't want to. You let
- 58:40Speaker 4: it go because you knew what you had did to him.
- 58:43Speaker 4: Now rose had reversed. You're about to get married. This
- 58:47Speaker 4: frat brother told you he coming to the wedding. He
- 58:50Speaker 4: can't believe you got a good guy like that. You
- 58:53Speaker 4: told him it was a once in a lifetime thing.
- 58:56Speaker 4: And now we at what the letter is about. I
- 58:59Speaker 4: said to tell my fiance that I was so wasted
- 59:03Speaker 4: that all our men was going to the bathroom and
- 59:06Speaker 4: guys were in there. But he'll want to know what
- 59:08Speaker 4: guys were in there? When I tell him? Do I
- 59:11Speaker 4: have to tell him everything? I have one word for you.
- 59:17Speaker 2: Why come on?
- 59:20Speaker 3: Why?
- 59:22Speaker 1: Why?
- 59:24Speaker 2: Why are you talking about this? So what you ran
- 59:29Speaker 2: up into?
- 59:29Speaker 9: That?
- 59:29Speaker 4: Dude?
- 59:31Speaker 2: That's what I'm telling you right now, y'all.
- 59:38Speaker 3: Lying, Lying.
- 59:42Speaker 2: Is so important.
- 59:47Speaker 1: Lying.
- 59:48Speaker 2: I can't stress to you how important it is to lie.
- 59:54Speaker 4: In all this Truth at all costs is the most
- 59:59Speaker 4: ignorant thing you could say.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: The truth doesn't matter.
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: Though truth does not matter. The truth is over rating.
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: It is overrated. If you told him the truth about
- 1:00:16Speaker 4: that night.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: Whack can't? You can't?
- 1:00:19Speaker 4: And now do you know what happens after you do that? No,
- 1:00:23Speaker 4: you don't know what's gonna happen. But do you want
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: Uncle Steve to tell you what could potentially happen if
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: you say this to this man?
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: Hang on, I'll tell you when we come back.
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: Save that.
- 1:00:35Speaker 9: Okay, we'll have part two of Steve's response coming up
- 1:00:38Speaker 9: at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry Letter,
- 1:00:42Speaker 9: subject I should tell him before marriage. We'll get back
- 1:00:45Speaker 9: into it right after.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: Yes, you're listening to hard Morning Show. All right, Come on, Steve.
- 1:00:51Speaker 9: Let's recap today's Strawberry Letter. The subject I should tell
- 1:00:54Speaker 9: him before marriage.
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: Twenty nine year old woman about to get married. Been
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: living with a boyfriend a few years now. They was
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: dating in college. On graduation night, she went into a
- 1:01:06Speaker 4: bathroom and two of her girlfriends, two of his frat brothers,
- 1:01:09Speaker 4: was in there. They all had sex together. The thing
- 1:01:12Speaker 4: of it was he was at the party two that night,
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: her boyfriend downstairs, on stairs somewhere like that. Fast forward.
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: Years later, he admitted to her that he cheated on
- 1:01:26Speaker 4: her with a girl. She knew she was hurt, but
- 1:01:29Speaker 4: she didn't. She let it go and let it slide
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: because she realizes what she had did to him on
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: graduation night. Okay, I four and I tip for attack.
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: Got it done over with. Years later, right before the
- 1:01:42Speaker 4: marriages had about to happen, she runs into one of
- 1:01:45Speaker 4: the guys that was in the bathroom, who is also
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: her fiance's frat brother, he said, reminded her that wild
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: night and can't believe she got such a good guy
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: like this and was talking to her crazy, looking at
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: her like she was nasty where you was all y'all
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: was nasty in their bathroom. It was nasty up in there.
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: It was five of y'all in there, so something nasty happened.
- 1:02:08Speaker 4: You have decided, for some ungodly reason that you want
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: to now tell your fiance that you got wasted one
- 1:02:18Speaker 4: night and we're in that bathroom and some other people
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: was in there. But you don't want to tell him everything.
- 1:02:25Speaker 4: But suppose he wants to know more? Do I tell
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: him everything? My one word question for you is why
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: why would you do that? Why would you open your
- 1:02:38Speaker 4: damn mouth? Why let's go to what's wrong with that?
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: Why would you tell the truth. Let's just explore it
- 1:02:48Speaker 4: from the woman angle who always wants to know every
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: damn thing. See y'all want to see y'all always want
- 1:02:55Speaker 4: to know every damn thing. But then you, your dumb ass,
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: want to tell every damn thing. Shut show damn mouth.
- 1:03:04Speaker 4: This ain't the time for truth. He ain't suspected nothing.
- 1:03:09Speaker 4: He didn't bust you. They ain't went to him and say,
- 1:03:11Speaker 4: hey man, we got something to tell you. Ain't none
- 1:03:14Speaker 4: of that happened. You have been forgiven.
- 1:03:17Speaker 3: Move on.
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: Now you gonna go in here and tell him. I
- 1:03:22Speaker 4: was in the bathroom with two of your friends on
- 1:03:24Speaker 4: graduation and then they.
- 1:03:26Speaker 6: Ain't got a head.
- 1:03:27Speaker 13: And then we all him and five of us in
- 1:03:29Speaker 13: there and we had sex, and that was there. They
- 1:03:31Speaker 13: will be there. I didn't want to stop because it
- 1:03:35Speaker 13: was good. And they were a while and we was graduating,
- 1:03:37Speaker 13: so I was celebrating in there. Your friend brother Hall,
- 1:03:40Speaker 13: he was all over me.
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: He just kept on.
- 1:03:42Speaker 4: And then I saw Hale and he told me about
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: the little girl. What you did that bad judgment night
- 1:03:48Speaker 4: as a young woman. You a grown woman. Now shut
- 1:03:51Speaker 4: your damn mouth. I keep telling you all about this
- 1:03:54Speaker 4: truth over rate it. It ain't the time for truth.
- 1:03:57Speaker 4: There are times when lies I absolutely necessary. Now if now,
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: and I'm gonna tell you how you could lie. If
- 1:04:07Speaker 4: the frat brother went to his frat brother and say,
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: hey man, I can't let you do this. I had
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: your girl that night we was in the bathroom.
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: Guess what you say.
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: I wasn't in no damn bathroom. What are you talking about?
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: Get hear me? Bring I wasn't in no damn bathroom
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: with you you like I promise you, I'll be in there.
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: I know that's right.
- 1:04:34Speaker 4: And you ain't even got to lie because guess what
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: all you got to do is not bring it up right.
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: This is not being deceitful. This is called forgiveness. That's
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: what it is. This is called grace. Let me tell
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: you something, young lady. I can assure you.
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: That all of us have done something that God has
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: allowed us to slide on Lord. All all of us
- 1:05:11Speaker 4: donedone something that we hope would never get out there,
- 1:05:16Speaker 4: and it just didn't get out, especially those of us
- 1:05:20Speaker 4: who lived in the time before social media and phone camels.
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: I can't tell you how grateful I am to God.
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: That the seventies and eighties and nineties and early two thousands,
- 1:05:40Speaker 4: no proof that run I made from seventy seven to
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: two thousand and five was epic.
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: Oh, my space wasn't even out then. I would clown.
- 1:05:57Speaker 4: The Hall King tour is undocumented, Thank you Jesus. Now,
- 1:06:09Speaker 4: whoy would I take my family and sit them down
- 1:06:13Speaker 4: and say, let me tell you I can't live like this.
- 1:06:18Speaker 4: I'm fin to tell you everything. Man.
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: My kids dog, let me tell you so.
- 1:06:22Speaker 4: My kids will leave me nothing kids.
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: My kids would leave me, Daddy.
- 1:06:29Speaker 6: What now?
- 1:06:33Speaker 4: My grandkids are quick calling me, Paupaul, hang it out
- 1:06:38Speaker 4: to Deeve Man, Lady lady, don't open your mouth.
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: It's okay.
- 1:06:44Speaker 4: And trust me, everybody listening has done something that God
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: has given them some grace for and just let it slide.
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: Eat that alone, all right, leave your comments.
- 1:06:54Speaker 9: Thank you Steve on Today's Strawberry Letter on the Instagram
- 1:06:56Speaker 9: and Facebook at Steve Harvey FM, and check us out
- 1:06:59Speaker 9: on the Strubbery a Letter podcast on the free iHeartRadio app.
- 1:07:02Speaker 9: Coming up next, it is Junior and Sports Talk. Right
- 1:07:06Speaker 9: after this you're listening.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: Morning show. It is time now for Junior and Sports Talk.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: What you got Junior?
- 1:07:13Speaker 8: First of all, let's just think the Olympic committee that
- 1:07:16Speaker 8: break dancing will no longer be in LA in twenty
- 1:07:19Speaker 8: twenty eight.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: Let's just thank them for that.
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: I'm serious.
- 1:07:22Speaker 8: That was the horrible sting I've ever seen in the
- 1:07:24Speaker 8: Olympic sport and they got medals for it.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: It was horrible.
- 1:07:27Speaker 8: If we gave somebody a gold medal for this.
- 1:07:29Speaker 6: It's not.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: It's not something should be doing.
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: It's not.
- 1:07:33Speaker 8: So we want to thank that for removing it, and
- 1:07:35Speaker 8: that and the lady in Australia up with what she did.
- 1:07:38Speaker 8: You want to thank the lady in Austria.
- 1:07:41Speaker 4: For shutting it down. It was the bunny hop in
- 1:07:46Speaker 4: them laying in the flow of Jack nice that.
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: She was doing.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: Everything is because of her out everything.
- 1:08:00Speaker 4: No, you ain't really break down your hat never even
- 1:08:02Speaker 4: almost came off. Thank you. And I think about it
- 1:08:10Speaker 4: some more.
- 1:08:11Speaker 8: Invents shouldn't be in the Olympics either anything canoeing.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: I didn't understand the canoeing. No canoeing, canoeing, that's what
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: did y'all see? How did you even know how to
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: go upstream?
- 1:08:23Speaker 4: Downstream?
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: What did them things mean?
- 1:08:26Speaker 4: That was called kyk kyak that thing they called it canoeing.
- 1:08:31Speaker 4: They have the same course, yeah, and they have to
- 1:08:35Speaker 4: go downstream upstream.
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: I like that, Junior.
- 1:08:38Speaker 8: I enjoyed, like you know else, need to go to unk.
- 1:08:40Speaker 8: We shouldn't have this next in l a for badminton. Badminton,
- 1:08:44Speaker 8: need to go badminton.
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: The ass off.
- 1:08:49Speaker 4: If you had a good tennis player don't play badminton.
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: It's the same thing, Talmy.
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: They had that, Junior, they had ping pong in there.
- 1:08:56Speaker 4: I loved it, man pong. I love ping pong. I
- 1:08:59Speaker 4: learned a lot.
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: Watch the people.
- 1:09:02Speaker 12: You don't like the little thing to take too long
- 1:09:05Speaker 12: to get over the net, you know, like getting on
- 1:09:07Speaker 12: your nerves.
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: Yeah, it takes too long. Okay, okay, okay, I don't
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: want to watch.
- 1:09:11Speaker 4: You beat your ass and bad yeah and that and
- 1:09:18Speaker 4: that thing coming way faster than you think. Boy, I
- 1:09:20Speaker 4: saw him doing some shots. Cause you're not disappointed and you.
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: Don't okay, okay, cool, Okay.
- 1:09:28Speaker 4: What's an event you really can't watch it?
- 1:09:30Speaker 7: Then?
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: What's one you can't watch besides the breakdancing?
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: Besides breakdown? What's one you can't watch?
- 1:09:35Speaker 4: Well, I don't know, Junior, really, man, I can watch
- 1:09:37Speaker 4: all of them. Sacronized swimming is one of my favor
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: But that was fun.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: Oh they was good.
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: I don't know what the hell they do.
- 1:09:47Speaker 4: But I know one time, if if I turned upside
- 1:09:49Speaker 4: down in the water, I'm drowning.
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: You got to get my ain't no, ain't no.
- 1:09:54Speaker 4: Black people are synchronized d t people because your legs
- 1:09:59Speaker 4: ain't gonna match the legs you look off.
- 1:10:03Speaker 12: I don't like how they judge diving because I think
- 1:10:05Speaker 12: they do it pretty good. And then you hit a
- 1:10:08Speaker 12: commentator that was terrible.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: Splash in the water, that's terrible.
- 1:10:13Speaker 9: See it coming at the top of the hour, A
- 1:10:17Speaker 9: lady is in trouble and she needs some advice for
- 1:10:20Speaker 9: letting her dog out on.
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: Some teenage students. We'll get into it right after this.
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: You're listening morning show, all right, Steve. This one is
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: from Betty and Chattanooga.
- 1:10:32Speaker 9: Betty says, my backyard faces a high school and the
- 1:10:35Speaker 9: kids come to the edge of my yard and smoke
- 1:10:37Speaker 9: cigarettes and hang out before school. I went to the
- 1:10:40Speaker 9: school superintendent before school started to tell him that I'm
- 1:10:44Speaker 9: not tolerating it this year. He didn't do anything about it.
- 1:10:47Speaker 9: So I had to let my dog out in the
- 1:10:49Speaker 9: yard Monday to scare the teenagers away. I have to
- 1:10:52Speaker 9: attend a special hearing now, and I could be fine
- 1:10:55Speaker 9: for this. It's my yard, my dog, and nobody got hurt,
- 1:11:00Speaker 9: So what's the problem.
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: My dog would be out there to mall.
- 1:11:09Speaker 4: And I'm gonna tell you right now, lady, you ain't
- 1:11:11Speaker 4: got no problem, because let me tell you something. The
- 1:11:14Speaker 4: one thing they care about more than them kids smoking
- 1:11:17Speaker 4: cigarettes is dog.
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: I go in there with Peter people for the treatment
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: and animals. I have Peter standing with Peter. Yeah, my
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: dog wants to.
- 1:11:33Speaker 4: Freely be able to walk in his yard and not
- 1:11:36Speaker 4: be harassed by these children and the smoke my dog
- 1:11:40Speaker 4: is suffering from secondhand smoke.
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: The gonna come out magic here problem.
- 1:11:47Speaker 4: Having to suffer that way, and these children over here
- 1:11:51Speaker 4: by by fencing my dog.
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: They have all them kids asking juvenile.
- 1:12:00Speaker 4: I've heard of it.
- 1:12:00Speaker 9: So all right, see we have time for another one.
- 1:12:03Speaker 9: This is from Harold, one of your favorite names, Harold
- 1:12:06Speaker 9: and Naples. Harold says, my wife and I moved to
- 1:12:09Speaker 9: Florida for a slower pace and nice weather. We're in
- 1:12:12Speaker 9: our mid sixties and we love jazz and outdoor concerts.
- 1:12:15Speaker 9: I'm big on meeting people. But my wife isn't sociable
- 1:12:19Speaker 9: at all. She does not have any girlfriends, and since
- 1:12:22Speaker 9: she retired, she doesn't even talk to her coworkers. I
- 1:12:25Speaker 9: didn't realize that moving her away from her family meant
- 1:12:27Speaker 9: that she would be in my face twenty four to seven.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: How do I get her to be more sociable? And
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: find a few things that she likes to do.
- 1:12:35Speaker 4: Well, dude, junior sixties and you moved to Naples Slough.
- 1:12:38Speaker 4: You took her down there. No black people down there,
- 1:12:41Speaker 4: This were tired people. You ain't even down there listening
- 1:12:45Speaker 4: to real jazz. That ain't jazz jazz. That's Laura's wealth.
- 1:12:51Speaker 4: You down there, Lord, you down there doing big band sounds.
- 1:12:55Speaker 4: Y'all wanted to slow ass pace. You picked that right place, Naples.
- 1:13:01Speaker 4: Lord her now, but she ain't got no friends, man,
- 1:13:04Speaker 4: that you want her to go make. She is easy
- 1:13:07Speaker 4: for guys can make friends easy because we have we
- 1:13:10Speaker 4: don't have the same requirements.
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: Y'all gets friends when when y'all can share. She's not finish.
- 1:13:16Speaker 4: Sit down there and telling white folks are that's all
- 1:13:19Speaker 4: that's done there?
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: How do you know this couple is black?
- 1:13:23Speaker 4: How do you know that? Because they complaining?
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: What about what?
- 1:13:31Speaker 6: She down there?
- 1:13:31Speaker 4: I can't get her hat done. She gotta drive all
- 1:13:33Speaker 4: the way up to town. Man, we gotta drive all
- 1:13:37Speaker 4: the way to Tampa to get her damn hat down.
- 1:13:43Speaker 4: But her nails she on the movie, Well you'll get
- 1:13:46Speaker 4: your nails done. They move. They got nail shops somewhere.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: You gotta go to Tampa against some barbecues.
- 1:13:53Speaker 4: Yeah, she all up in here, y'all ain't. And Florida
- 1:13:57Speaker 4: got this restaurant called Sonny Sonny's Barbecue because really good
- 1:14:02Speaker 4: ass baked beans as Sunny's.
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: Well they had when I was.
- 1:14:06Speaker 4: Out there home, the shouts out there set Sonny's is
- 1:14:09Speaker 4: pretty big down in the Florida Park.
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: This food chain, it ain't the greatest. They got good
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: air baked beans though.
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: But so where should she go to meet friends? To
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: the to the hair salon in Tampa?
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: Or what hair salon in Tampa?
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: I'm saying, where should she go?
- 1:14:26Speaker 4: That hasalon in Tampa's in the mall? Surely that's supercuts.
- 1:14:30Speaker 4: Ain't no black people in there?
- 1:14:31Speaker 9: No, because her husband is friendly and he doesn't want
- 1:14:36Speaker 9: her in his face twenty four to seven.
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: He needs her to find something too.
- 1:14:41Speaker 4: All I can care Church, Well, she shouldn't meet a
- 1:14:44Speaker 4: whole lot more people if you go down a little
- 1:14:46Speaker 4: further south and go to like Liberty City down in Miami,
- 1:14:51Speaker 4: will they shouldn't know somebody down there or need to
- 1:14:55Speaker 4: hear up and find somebody you need so they can
- 1:14:57Speaker 4: tell you where to go and not.
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: The all right, more this ignorant show. Right after this,
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: you're listening morning show?
- 1:15:15Speaker 9: All right, listen up, guys, especially the guys. Did you
- 1:15:18Speaker 9: know that if you look good, you'll live longer?
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: Okay?
- 1:15:22Speaker 9: Researchers at Arizona State and the University of Texas found
- 1:15:26Speaker 9: that people that are considered to be less attractive have
- 1:15:29Speaker 9: a higher mortality risk than those that are considered to
- 1:15:32Speaker 9: be good looking. Ugly men are more likely to die
- 1:15:36Speaker 9: before ugly women, according to their research.
- 1:15:40Speaker 4: So what see, what's wrong? Your aske to one? Jeff
- 1:15:51Speaker 4: got out of the hospital. You, Jeff, wrangle bell? But

- 1:16:08Speaker 1: Hell, what makes the person? I can add to you?
- 1:16:13Speaker 9: Is it the face of facial features? The attitude of
- 1:16:16Speaker 9: the personality?
- 1:16:17Speaker 7: What?
- 1:16:17Speaker 6: What is it?
- 1:16:18Speaker 4: What's ugly to us? Yeah?
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: What makes the person both of their facial features is that?
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: Look how close he is to that camera?
- 1:16:28Speaker 4: You got one? You got one? Go to bed with
- 1:16:30Speaker 4: a hat on. Look at him like that?
- 1:16:31Speaker 3: Look at him?
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: What but.
- 1:16:35Speaker 6: Me?
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: I ain't leaving?
- 1:16:39Speaker 4: Well, I know I'm good because I've already lived longer
- 1:16:42Speaker 4: than both of them.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: So you the cutest out the three.
- 1:16:47Speaker 4: They haven't even got here yet, so it according to
- 1:16:50Speaker 4: the statistics. I'm cute as hell.
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: We'll play around him.
- 1:16:54Speaker 9: Would you rather, coming up right after this, you're listening
- 1:17:00Speaker 9: morning show time for a rounded, would you rather? Would

- 1:17:09Speaker 11: Oh?
- 1:17:09Speaker 7: No, give me that prospect that prostate a ten second?
- 1:17:12Speaker 7: That root canal Oh, that ain't even test ten s.

- 1:20:21Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are last break of the day. Okay,
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: this show right here, the.
- 1:20:28Speaker 4: Last break of it.
- 1:20:30Speaker 6: I ain't know.
- 1:20:31Speaker 4: It's important, man, it's important. It's important that you know
- 1:20:34Speaker 4: we share information.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: Yes, how you can guess how your awareness?
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: That's awareness awareness and.
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: You do it, you know, through humor, which is a great.
- 1:20:44Speaker 4: Thank Tommy for bringing out because a lot of people
- 1:20:47Speaker 4: you're probably going.
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: To say nothing else awareness. All right, Tommy does have
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: a question for you, though, Yeah, I.
- 1:20:52Speaker 7: Want to be So you've been going, you've been going,
- 1:20:55Speaker 7: you've been overseas, you're still you're in the transit back.
- 1:20:58Speaker 7: But so you've been going for a minute. Do you
- 1:21:01Speaker 7: turn your air off? As your air been running all
- 1:21:03Speaker 7: this time you've been on. I just I just curried
- 1:21:08Speaker 7: because I know your air your life buil got to
- 1:21:11Speaker 7: be high. So surely you got everything off. All your
- 1:21:14Speaker 7: A c's is off? Are you fenna go in there
- 1:21:17Speaker 7: and anything?
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: Pretty much? Promise you that we ain't cut that air off?
- 1:21:26Speaker 4: Why would I do that for eight weeks in the summer,
- 1:21:28Speaker 4: cutting my earf come back and all the curtains.
- 1:21:31Speaker 2: Is dry, rotty. I don't know why you would leave that?
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: Don't like that.
- 1:21:38Speaker 4: That's a lot. That's a lot of the house. Oh wow, man,
- 1:21:46Speaker 4: you walked in the house out to eight weeks in
- 1:21:48Speaker 4: the summer and the ain't had your an You can't
- 1:21:50Speaker 4: touch a statue or nothing. Yeah wow, No, man, I
- 1:21:58Speaker 4: just you know, I think about my life, man, and
- 1:22:01Speaker 4: I think about and it's really become important for me
- 1:22:05Speaker 4: to share information, man, because I want people to flourish.
- 1:22:10Speaker 6: Man.
- 1:22:10Speaker 4: I want people to have the best life you can have.
- 1:22:14Speaker 4: You know, fifty cent was on ig and he was
- 1:22:18Speaker 4: talking about and it made a lot of sense. There
- 1:22:22Speaker 4: are a lot of people who are not rich that
- 1:22:24Speaker 4: have wonderful lives.
- 1:22:26Speaker 3: Man.
- 1:22:26Speaker 4: Yeah, I know a lot of people, man that's not
- 1:22:29Speaker 4: rich that have wonderful lives. Man. Got great families, man,
- 1:22:34Speaker 4: you know, you know, man, they get to go to
- 1:22:35Speaker 4: their kids school events. You know, they participate in their
- 1:22:39Speaker 4: children's lives. They coaching them, They taking them to extracurriculum activities. Man,
- 1:22:45Speaker 4: They go to church, they worship together, you know, they
- 1:22:48Speaker 4: just you know, they live in nice homes man, and
- 1:22:51Speaker 4: you can see them improving and stuff like that. You
- 1:22:55Speaker 4: don't have to be rich to be happy.
- 1:22:57Speaker 11: No.
- 1:22:58Speaker 4: And at the same time, I know, for a lot
- 1:23:00Speaker 4: of rich people man, who are miserable. I mean miserable man,
- 1:23:06Speaker 4: because I can tell you for a fact, man, money
- 1:23:09Speaker 4: can't buy you happiness. Now look, I'm gonna be real too. Now,
- 1:23:15Speaker 4: money can help provide some happy times and happy moments.
- 1:23:20Speaker 4: And money does afford you the opportunity of choices. That
- 1:23:25Speaker 4: is the advantage of choice. The best quote I heard
- 1:23:28Speaker 4: from a rich guy was the best thing he's learned
- 1:23:31Speaker 4: about money is money takes all emergencies and makes them
- 1:23:36Speaker 4: mere inconveniences. Money takes all emergencies and just makes them
- 1:23:44Speaker 4: mere inconveniences. There are some advantages to having excess money,
- 1:23:50Speaker 4: but happiness ain't one of them, and it's not a requirement.
- 1:23:55Speaker 4: Do you know the biggest thief of joy? The number
- 1:24:02Speaker 4: one thief of joy is comparison. If you want to
- 1:24:07Speaker 4: steal your joy, start comparing yourself to somebody else. Start
- 1:24:12Speaker 4: looking over the other fence, start looking down the street,
- 1:24:17Speaker 4: Start looking at who you graduated with and looking at
- 1:24:20Speaker 4: what they got, comparing it to what you got. It
- 1:24:22Speaker 4: is the biggest thief of joy. There is comparison that.
- 1:24:26Speaker 2: Ain't your path.
- 1:24:29Speaker 4: See, man, you got to be all right, And a
- 1:24:31Speaker 4: lot of people who are not okay with where they
- 1:24:35Speaker 4: are cannot get further because you have not shown the
- 1:24:40Speaker 4: proper amount of gratitude for what you have. It's incredible, man,
- 1:24:48Speaker 4: I've used this analogy before. But let's take something simple.
- 1:24:52Speaker 4: Let's say you go to a neighbor's house to borrow
- 1:24:53Speaker 4: a cup of sugar, and you get the cup of
- 1:24:55Speaker 4: sugar from the neighbor and you walk away and you
- 1:24:57Speaker 4: don't say thank you. And then you come back again
- 1:25:00Speaker 4: and you ask for another cup of sugar. Now, this
- 1:25:03Speaker 4: is just a decent person. They give you a couple
- 1:25:04Speaker 4: of sugar because it's just a cup of sugar. But
- 1:25:06Speaker 4: you turn around and you walk away and you don't
- 1:25:08Speaker 4: say thank you again. How many times can you go
- 1:25:11Speaker 4: to this person and he keep giving you sugar and
- 1:25:15Speaker 4: you walk away from this person without saying thank you.
- 1:25:17Speaker 4: It ain't too many times you could do that before
- 1:25:19Speaker 4: somebody gonna say, hey, man, who wa woo who? Every
- 1:25:22Speaker 4: time you run out of sugar, you come over here
- 1:25:24Speaker 4: and I, in my decency, give you the cup of sugar.
- 1:25:28Speaker 2: You ain't got the decency to say thank you. So
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: now guess what.
- 1:25:32Speaker 4: At one point in time, you gonna quit being able
- 1:25:35Speaker 4: to get sugar from this person. And that's an analogy.
- 1:25:39Speaker 2: I like to throw out there. Because God is God.
- 1:25:43Speaker 4: He forgives us over and over and over and over,
- 1:25:45Speaker 4: and I don't care how many times you get it wrong.
- 1:25:47Speaker 4: You can go to God and give forgiveness. But man,
- 1:25:50Speaker 4: wouldn't it be really smart if you took some time
- 1:25:53Speaker 4: to thank him, to show some gratitude.
- 1:25:56Speaker 2: Okay, let's go back to the sugar.
- 1:25:58Speaker 4: You go over your neighborshood's house, and every time you
- 1:26:00Speaker 4: borrow a cup of sugar, you say thank you. You know,
- 1:26:04Speaker 4: maybe one time you can go over there and say, hey,
- 1:26:06Speaker 4: you know what, I'm really down and out. I need
- 1:26:09Speaker 4: some sugar and some flour. But because you are gracious
- 1:26:14Speaker 4: enough to say thank you every single time, they might go, Man,
- 1:26:17Speaker 4: this person really is down and out. Let me give
- 1:26:19Speaker 4: them the sugar and the flower. But you only get
- 1:26:22Speaker 4: that through an act of gratitude. If you don't show gratitude,
- 1:26:27Speaker 4: I'm telling you right now, there is no more for you.
- 1:26:32Speaker 4: So look, man, sometimes if you are where you are
- 1:26:36Speaker 4: and you're stuck in that place, just self check yourself.
- 1:26:42Speaker 4: When the last time you took inventory and said thank you?
- 1:26:48Speaker 4: The best way to get unstuck is with gratitude. Gratitude
- 1:26:55Speaker 4: affects your attitude, which is in direct correlation with your altitude.
- 1:27:00Speaker 4: Those are my clothing remarks. Y'all have a great day.
