- 0:19Speaker 1: not good. Steve, don't join. You gotta turn very You
- 1:24Speaker 1: gotta turn to turn them out. Got to turn them out,
- 1:45Speaker 1: to turn the water the water. Come come on your back,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I shall, well, good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: come on dig me now one it only Steve Harvey
- 2:11Speaker 1: got a radio show? Man. I love it when I
- 2:15Speaker 1: run up into people and they say that to me.
- 2:17Speaker 1: They say, hey, Steve Harvey got a radio show. Then
- 2:20Speaker 1: they wink at man, I know they're listening. You know,
- 2:22Speaker 1: I got a lot off my chest yesterday. I wanted
- 2:24Speaker 1: to clear some things up. And I appreciate y'all giving
- 2:27Speaker 1: me a minute, because sometimes, you know, you just gotta
- 2:29Speaker 1: say some things out loud. Not complaining, but hey, just verbalizing,
- 2:35Speaker 1: but realizing that I gotta keep going anyway. And that's
- 2:39Speaker 1: my words this morning to you, that I want you
- 2:43Speaker 1: to keep pushing no matter what happens. I want to
- 2:48Speaker 1: share something with you that's important, that's very very important. See,
- 2:55Speaker 1: you have to give God something too bless You know,
- 3:00Speaker 1: if your prayer is asking for God's blessings, you got
- 3:05Speaker 1: to give him something to work with. Now, you know,
- 3:09Speaker 1: you got to show the spirit of appreciation or gratitude.
- 3:15Speaker 1: You gotta let him know that you're in it for
- 3:17Speaker 1: the long haul. No matter what happens. Don't turn around.
- 3:25Speaker 1: You will never ever see what the end could be.
- 3:30Speaker 1: If you turn around and go back, You'll never know
- 3:34Speaker 1: what the end could have been had you stuck it out.
- 3:38Speaker 1: You'll never know how good it could have gotten had
- 3:44Speaker 1: you not just weathered the storm. That's the thing that
- 3:49Speaker 1: gets most people. They get tough for them, It get
- 3:55Speaker 1: hard for them, and then they let doubts set in,
- 3:58Speaker 1: and then those doubts become facts and the next thing
- 4:01Speaker 1: you know, they give up. Had you not given up,
- 4:06Speaker 1: or had you given your best, what the results or
- 4:09Speaker 1: outcome could have been. I look back on my life
- 4:12Speaker 1: on so many occasions where in college I wasn't giving
- 4:17Speaker 1: my best. Now I flunked out. Now it's easy to
- 4:23Speaker 1: look at my life nine go yeah, but look at
- 4:25Speaker 1: you now. But back then, man, it cost me for
- 4:30Speaker 1: so many years that failing to finish that not giving
- 4:36Speaker 1: my all, it cost me a number of years. I
- 4:42Speaker 1: wish I could say that it didn't mean nothing, that
- 4:45Speaker 1: it was just a blimp on the radar screen screen,
- 4:48Speaker 1: But at the time it was major. And so you
- 4:51Speaker 1: have a lot of decisions in your life that are
- 4:53Speaker 1: happening now. You may be in your twenties, your late teens,
- 4:57Speaker 1: you could be in your early thirties, and it's happening.
- 5:00Speaker 1: But guess what you'll eventually get through it provided one thing,
- 5:06Speaker 1: you never give up. You never turn around and go back.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Had I written myself off because of one failure, see,
- 5:15Speaker 1: and this is where so many people go but go
- 5:17Speaker 1: wrong at two. You write yourself off after you failed
- 5:20Speaker 1: at something, the one thing you thought you wanted to accomplish,
- 5:25Speaker 1: and you failed at it. Now you write yourself as
- 5:28Speaker 1: a failure. Now you go settle on end to life
- 5:31Speaker 1: and just see what See what hand you get had
- 5:35Speaker 1: when I flunked out of college, had I written myself
- 5:38Speaker 1: off as a failure, I wouldn't be here today. When
- 5:42Speaker 1: I lost my carpet cleaning company, I would have written
- 5:45Speaker 1: myself as a failure. And I wouldn't be here today
- 5:49Speaker 1: when I didn't become a diamond distributed in Amway or
- 5:52Speaker 1: a direct distributor in am Way even I would have
- 5:55Speaker 1: written myself as a failure, and I wouldn't be here today.
- 6:01Speaker 1: When I bought a distribution kit to become a distributor
- 6:05Speaker 1: of the Bohemian Diet and I didn't make it, I
- 6:10Speaker 1: would have written myself as a failure. When I became
- 6:13Speaker 1: an Al William's distributor and I didn't make it, I
- 6:16Speaker 1: would have written myself as a failure, and I wouldn't
- 6:18Speaker 1: be here today. Oh, I gotta listen for you. When
- 6:22Speaker 1: I got laid off it for a motor company, had
- 6:25Speaker 1: I written myself as a failure, I wouldn't have made it.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Do you need some more? Because I have a story
- 6:35Speaker 1: filled with mishaps. I have a story filled with failures.
- 6:42Speaker 1: A couple of things now, the grace of God and
- 6:45Speaker 1: his mercy which is available to us all. See that's
- 6:49Speaker 1: the key, y'all, Because of his mercy, because of his
- 6:53Speaker 1: willingness to forgive and to even understand why we do
- 7:00Speaker 1: the things we do. In all of my shortcomings, failed
- 7:06Speaker 1: marriages I'm talking about, man got it all wrong. I
- 7:11Speaker 1: can't blame nobody else, It's just me. Steve ain't have
- 7:15Speaker 1: it together at that point, in life, I've could have
- 7:19Speaker 1: ridden myself as a failure the first time I could.
- 7:23Speaker 1: I just could have gave up on it after the
- 7:25Speaker 1: second one. And please know that this is an admission.
- 7:30Speaker 1: This ain't bragging. So before you start in with me,
- 7:32Speaker 1: understand what I'm saying. I'm pointing out in my life
- 7:38Speaker 1: a series of missteps and failures. But how I still
- 7:43Speaker 1: get here today a couple of things. God's grace and
- 7:49Speaker 1: mercy is first. But that's the key that's for everybody
- 7:55Speaker 1: see if it's God's willingness to forgive you and God's
- 8:00Speaker 1: understanding of why we do what we do because He's
- 8:03Speaker 1: said we wasn't gonna be perfect. So in all of
- 8:07Speaker 1: your imperfections, your creator told you you would not be perfect.
- 8:12Speaker 1: He's sad it to you. It's out there. I don't
- 8:15Speaker 1: care which one of the books you read it tells
- 8:18Speaker 1: you that. So guess what With that in mind, he
- 8:23Speaker 1: has a grace that he has. It's like a grace period.
- 8:27Speaker 1: It's like when you don't pay your insurance premium on
- 8:30Speaker 1: the day that is due. The next day, they don't
- 8:33Speaker 1: just cancel your insurance premium. They have a grace period
- 8:38Speaker 1: because they ain't trying to stop this money from coming in.
- 8:42Speaker 1: But when it comes to God, there's no money required.
- 8:45Speaker 1: He just gives you the grace freely. It don't cost
- 8:49Speaker 1: you nothing. So you got to tap into that, y'all.
- 8:51Speaker 1: You gotta get in touch with that, because that's an
- 8:53Speaker 1: important part to making it. Understanding that His grace is available.
- 8:58Speaker 1: So when you make a mistake, So when you fail
- 9:02Speaker 1: at it, he has a loophole in the contract with
- 9:06Speaker 1: him that allows you to make mistakes, that allows you
- 9:09Speaker 1: to get it wrong, that allows you to fail time
- 9:13Speaker 1: and time and time again. But if you never give up,
- 9:16Speaker 1: if you keep getting up, if you keep trying, if
- 9:19Speaker 1: you keep striving, if you keep making the effort to
- 9:23Speaker 1: go forward and not go back, God has a blessing
- 9:27Speaker 1: for you, and He has it in abundance for you,
- 9:30Speaker 1: and God will give it to you at the right time.
- 9:34Speaker 1: But you got to be ready. Oh, I want it
- 9:38Speaker 1: to be successful. But if He had given it to
- 9:41Speaker 1: me back then I wouldn't have handled it correctly because
- 9:45Speaker 1: I would have made some more mistakes along the way.
- 9:49Speaker 1: So you make the mistakes to learn the lessons. Lord,
- 9:53Speaker 1: they ain't God been good to me. I ain't gonna
- 9:55Speaker 1: lie to you cool. You're listening show ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:03Speaker 1: let me have it. I'm talking about your attention, please,
- 10:05Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Martin Show. It's morning time, man, it is
- 10:09Speaker 1: mony time. We are healed. We are about to bring

- 10:38Speaker 1: love tar a mouth out. He came to see me
- 10:42Speaker 1: in Cleveland one night and before the show. We was

- 10:51Speaker 1: I got the picture of me and my father and

- 10:59Speaker 1: was about to go on age. He had on a
- 11:01Speaker 1: full left raccoon coat, not the raccoon, raccoon hat, snake jacket,
- 11:09Speaker 1: snake pants, and gator boots. Animals, a lot of animals
- 11:15Speaker 1: came from I'm backstage, I'm dapping up my boy one.
- 11:19Speaker 1: I dapped up boom and then Big said, give me
- 11:23Speaker 1: some of that one a little. I dapped him up.
- 11:25Speaker 1: He said, going out there and take a mouth out.
- 11:28Speaker 1: I went right out there and told a mouth out.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Steve Harvin Mortis Joe, I was a bad man. Y'all
- 11:35Speaker 1: must have forgot morning Sherley, good morning. That's where you

- 12:08Speaker 1: That was cippious. That was cipious. Who can you get
- 12:11Speaker 1: this vib so? Man? What's going on? Junior? Still looked
- 12:15Speaker 1: like one of them sailors from Captain Phillips the movie
- 12:19Speaker 1: I'm the Captain Nan just like them. Hey, you know
- 12:27Speaker 1: that Captain Phillips? Talk about that movie with Tom movie Tom? Yeah?
- 12:35Speaker 1: You know, man, when I'm Samaria's got on that boat,
- 12:42Speaker 1: I should with you? Kidding op a boat full of
- 12:48Speaker 1: white folkus no risk, no reward, Steve, What did you
- 12:54Speaker 1: thinks your chances? White folks don't give a damn if
- 13:00Speaker 1: you in the ocean. You can't kidnap a boat full
- 13:05Speaker 1: of white folks. But dog, he toldly, I got ten grand.
- 13:10Speaker 1: You can take this and be on your boy. No,
- 13:14Speaker 1: we want more off the boat, don't You could have
- 13:19Speaker 1: got your ass off the ball. And then he thought
- 13:22Speaker 1: he was gonna lower one of them life saving boats.
- 13:25Speaker 1: And how far you think that canna take you? This
- 13:30Speaker 1: yellow ass boat? Right now? Coming up in thirty two
- 13:36Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we're gonna do some ass to
- 13:38Speaker 1: clo with the chief Love Officer in the building, Steve Harvey.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening Stry Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 13:47Speaker 1: you're ready, time for asking the chief love Officer. Here
- 13:51Speaker 1: we go. This one is from Tammy in Oklahoma. Tammy says,
- 13:56Speaker 1: my boyfriend and I have been together for nine years
- 13:59Speaker 1: and we have four children together. I really want to
- 14:02Speaker 1: be with him forever, but he is not the most
- 14:04Speaker 1: romantic man in the world, and our relationship is getting stale.
- 14:08Speaker 1: I am tired of giving him hints around Valentine's Day
- 14:12Speaker 1: or my birthday to do something special for me. He
- 14:15Speaker 1: tells me he loves me every day, but I no
- 14:17Speaker 1: longer feel the love. How can I get him to
- 14:20Speaker 1: stop taking me for granted? Well, the first thing you
- 14:24Speaker 1: have to do is stop taking yourself for granted, you've
- 14:27Speaker 1: been his boyfriend for nine years and you have four children.
- 14:31Speaker 1: If you won't more, you have to command more. Why
- 14:35Speaker 1: would he give you more when he knows you're willing
- 14:37Speaker 1: to settle for being his girlfriend and he your boyfriend
- 14:42Speaker 1: for nine years? How can I get him to be
- 14:44Speaker 1: more romantic? I think a bigger question is how can
- 14:47Speaker 1: you get him to commit to you and marry you?
- 14:51Speaker 1: How can you give the children his last name? Nine?
- 14:54Speaker 1: In your business? That don't make no difference whether you
- 14:56Speaker 1: do it or not. But you wrote in to me,
- 14:59Speaker 1: so I'm you're saying to you, I'm just trying in
- 15:02Speaker 1: a nice little Christian way, just offer you a suggestion,
- 15:06Speaker 1: just so how you could just maybe it, just you know,
- 15:09Speaker 1: you know, just aim a little bit higher. Stop shooting
- 15:13Speaker 1: a gun at his knee caps. I want something for
- 15:16Speaker 1: my birthday. I want something for Valentine's Day? How about
- 15:19Speaker 1: a damn wed? How about that? If you don't, if
- 15:23Speaker 1: you quit aiming so low, you might mess around and
- 15:27Speaker 1: go sowhere. She didn't mention a wedding or marriage at all. No,
- 15:31Speaker 1: but I've been here my boyfriend for nine years, we
- 15:34Speaker 1: got four kids. What what all right, We'll move on
- 15:43Speaker 1: to Kerman and Philly. Kerman says, I'm a divorced single mother.
- 15:47Speaker 1: My X and I didn't have a custody battle, nor
- 15:50Speaker 1: did I put him on child support. I'm regretting it now.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Legally I have to let our three year old daughter
- 15:56Speaker 1: visit him, even though he doesn't provide any financial support
- 16:01Speaker 1: for her. I have to pack any and everything she
- 16:04Speaker 1: might need because my ex doesn't have any clothes, toys,
- 16:07Speaker 1: not even a toothbrush for a little girl at his house.
- 16:10Speaker 1: I want to drag him back to court, but I
- 16:12Speaker 1: don't want to be angry the angry ex wife. How
- 16:15Speaker 1: should I purchase this? Well, you don't have to be
- 16:18Speaker 1: the angry ex wife. Yeah, you just have to have
- 16:21Speaker 1: this man be responsible for his child. It's called the law.
- 16:28Speaker 1: It's it's not You're not the angry x. It's a
- 16:32Speaker 1: man can't get off the hook for his responsibility to
- 16:37Speaker 1: his children. I'm sorry, I'm paid, I'm paid child support.
- 16:41Speaker 1: I ain't got no feelings for nobody. You're here talking
- 16:44Speaker 1: about some damn child support. It's your duty, and you
- 16:47Speaker 1: don't get a badge for paying child support. They're not
- 16:50Speaker 1: gonna have a parade for you. We don't do child
- 16:53Speaker 1: support day. That don't go over that next to fourth
- 16:57Speaker 1: of July Columbus Day. You don't get Yeah, you don't
- 17:01Speaker 1: get on a holiday for paying child support. You are
- 17:04Speaker 1: responsible for the children. Just allow him to be the
- 17:08Speaker 1: responsible man you thought he would be when you married him.
- 17:12Speaker 1: But you can't get in the way of his responsibility. Yeah,
- 17:16Speaker 1: she's making it easy for him. Yeah, why are you
- 17:19Speaker 1: making yourself like you the villain? He ain't paying no
- 17:23Speaker 1: child support? She three. He doesn't even have a tooth
- 17:26Speaker 1: frush for his baby. What is he doing. Yeah, she's
- 17:31Speaker 1: making it too easy for him, making him do something.
- 17:35Speaker 1: He has to pay child support. Look, that's the law.
- 17:37Speaker 1: I ain't dogging men. This is what it is. We're responsible.
- 17:44Speaker 1: If a woman has your baby and she's taking care
- 17:47Speaker 1: of the baby, you have to help. That's your baby.
- 17:50Speaker 1: I feel badly for her because she's feeling like she
- 17:53Speaker 1: doesn't want to be the angry ex wife and you're
- 17:56Speaker 1: not angry. It's the law. Yeah, it's the law. He
- 18:01Speaker 1: can't get off like that. You can't make babies and
- 18:05Speaker 1: don't be a man about it. Pardon what this is? Right? Yeah?
- 18:10Speaker 1: Tell him Steve you can't. I'm sorry, man. That ain't
- 18:13Speaker 1: Steve acting old fashioned. That's the law. That's true, man.
- 18:17Speaker 1: I feel like cousin. Go ahead, come here, Tommy. I
- 18:22Speaker 1: told y'all closer remarks just today. Say what's on your
- 18:26Speaker 1: man today? Promise all right, Steve. This one's from Paris
- 18:33Speaker 1: in the DC, Maryland, Virginia area of the DMV area.
- 18:36Speaker 1: She says, I'm a thirty eight year old single woman
- 18:38Speaker 1: and I've been best friends with a man for thirty years.
- 18:43Speaker 1: Over the years, we have dated others, but our relationship
- 18:45Speaker 1: never seems to work out. Their relationships never seemed to
- 18:49Speaker 1: work out. She says. I told him that we can't
- 18:51Speaker 1: find love because we're in love with each other. He
- 18:55Speaker 1: didn't respond. I want to have a serious conversation with
- 18:59Speaker 1: him about us, but I don't want our friendship to
- 19:02Speaker 1: be awkward. If he tells me there is no us
- 19:06Speaker 1: if he wants me, would he have said so by now?
- 19:09Speaker 1: I would have. Yeah. Now, let me tell you what
- 19:11Speaker 1: the deal is. If he's not saying anything, he could
- 19:14Speaker 1: have feelings for you and be scared to death you'll
- 19:17Speaker 1: quit talking to him. And this usually happens when a
- 19:20Speaker 1: man is very, very unattracted. Yea. Now, if he ugly,
- 19:31Speaker 1: he can't run the risk of you're not talking to
- 19:33Speaker 1: him because he ain't got ain't got a whole lot
- 19:36Speaker 1: of outs. So maybe I've just been thinking it out.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Maybe he's very unattracted and he's scared she gonna quit
- 19:45Speaker 1: talking to him because anybody else talking to him. He
- 19:49Speaker 1: can't keep nobody. But she said, I mean, she broached
- 19:53Speaker 1: the subject. She's brought it up first, I know, but
- 19:57Speaker 1: he's scared to say something, and I I would open
- 20:00Speaker 1: a conversation like this, baby, Can I talk to you
- 20:03Speaker 1: for a minute. I know you probably think you ugly
- 20:06Speaker 1: as hell. I know you probably thank you ugly as hell,
- 20:15Speaker 1: but I don't see you that way. Yeah, that's the icebreaker.
- 20:21Speaker 1: I find you. I find a lot of nice things
- 20:24Speaker 1: about you, Yes, look saying one of them. Yeah. Yeah.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Keep the wound and flesh open on him. Don't let
- 20:37Speaker 1: her thank you cute. He gonna gain confidence. Oh yeah,
- 20:40Speaker 1: all right, thank you, c Hello. Coming up next, nephew

- 29:03Speaker 1: about right now? Why North Korea's dictator Kim Jung He
- 29:08Speaker 1: has returned to the public eye. What we thought even
- 29:11Speaker 1: their death or death, it's some people in North Korea going, god, dog,
- 29:20Speaker 1: I thought we's off in the head down to South
- 29:22Speaker 1: Korea for the week. Kid. Yeah. Uh. He has returned
- 29:28Speaker 1: to the public eye, reportedly to cut a ribbon at
- 29:31Speaker 1: the opening of fertilizer plant of a fertilizer plant there.
- 29:35Speaker 1: And now there's common that's a that's a little low

- 30:02Speaker 1: commentary Steve from from officials that they don't think Kim
- 30:06Speaker 1: Jung own had that rumor. They don't think he had
- 30:10Speaker 1: the rumored heart surgery at all. They don't even think
- 30:12Speaker 1: he had a surgery. I think I think it's a double.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Oh yeah, they do, yeah, some some of the dictators do.
- 30:22Speaker 1: I think it's a double oh yeah, oh, they got doubles.
- 30:29Speaker 1: The first person gets shot in a dictatorship, ain't gonna
- 30:32Speaker 1: be the dude. W Yeah, I'm thinking it's a double
- 30:38Speaker 1: down that cutting that ribbon. They got no little fat,
- 30:40Speaker 1: little Korean dude with that haircut, with that ball haircut,
- 30:44Speaker 1: you can't get there. A lot of people know how
- 30:45Speaker 1: to do that haircut. I accidentally cut my hair like
- 30:49Speaker 1: that one time. But that prominent yeah, prominent North Korean
- 30:56Speaker 1: defect leader has apologized for leaking the story, saying that
- 31:01Speaker 1: Kim Jong un was seriously ill. So I guess it
- 31:04Speaker 1: was all just a rumor. Wow, well, let me explain
- 31:06Speaker 1: some to if that was a rumor, you will notice
- 31:10Speaker 1: there will be at least ten dead people because here
- 31:15Speaker 1: here kill all the people. Yeah, and his sister too. Yeah,
- 31:20Speaker 1: she's a beast. She loves murder. All right, So so
- 31:23Speaker 1: we here and other entertainment news. We all know Tiger
- 31:29Speaker 1: King was a big hit for Netflix. We all watched
- 31:32Speaker 1: the show. Uh, well, Tiger King fans, get ready because
- 31:35Speaker 1: actor Nicholas Cage is going to play Joe Exotic in
- 31:39Speaker 1: an upcoming We knew this was just a matter of time. Yeah,
- 31:43Speaker 1: it's a Tiger King script scripted eight episode series. Okay,
- 31:49Speaker 1: the series will that we already saw the real Yeah,

- 32:19Speaker 1: your ass to Netflix if you haven't seen Tiger King.
- 32:23Speaker 1: It is the best reality show ever filmed on Planet
- 32:28Speaker 1: Earth of all time. Yes, it's very very interesting, Yes
- 32:32Speaker 1: it is. He had two husband husband, He had two husbands,
- 32:41Speaker 1: both of them on mouth. One of them's mouth teeth
- 32:44Speaker 1: had just took all his damn teeth. And he was
- 32:48Speaker 1: a young man, and he was young. Ain't have on one,
- 32:52Speaker 1: ain't had one solid tooth in his head? All right. See,
- 32:56Speaker 1: we gotta move on. Time to catch up on today's headlines.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Once I chip my tooth, I'm not doing that drug.
- 33:03Speaker 1: No more, Ladies and gentlemen, Miss Ann Trill, thank you,
- 33:10Speaker 1: thank you, everybody. Good morning. Here's the news. The Trump
- 33:13Speaker 1: administrations of rejecting the conclusions made in an internal government
- 33:16Speaker 1: report obtained by the New York Times. The report that's
- 33:19Speaker 1: predicting that if states open up too fast, Okay that
- 33:23Speaker 1: the daily nationwide coronavirus death toll could double by early June.
- 33:27Speaker 1: The Times is signing a sentence for disease Control Update
- 33:30Speaker 1: acquired by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, or FEMA, that
- 33:34Speaker 1: predicts that the number of COVID nineteen deaths in this
- 33:36Speaker 1: country could reach about three thousand a day by June first,
- 33:40Speaker 1: if stay at home and social distancing stuff is canceled. However,
- 33:44Speaker 1: the White House spokesperson Judd Deer says in a statement
- 33:47Speaker 1: that this is not a document, nor has it been
- 33:49Speaker 1: presented to the White Houses Corona Virus task Force. Capitol
- 33:53Speaker 1: Hill was only half opened yesterday. Republican Leader Mitch McConnell
- 33:56Speaker 1: reopened the US Senate, requiring all clerks and other support
- 34:00Speaker 1: personnel to show up. But in light of the threat
- 34:02Speaker 1: posed by the pandemic, Illinois Democrat Dick Durbin says he
- 34:05Speaker 1: wasn't too pleased being called back to work the senators
- 34:08Speaker 1: here today because the majority leader has brought us back
- 34:10Speaker 1: to Washington against medical advice. We know what the standard
- 34:14Speaker 1: is in the district of Columbia for the people who
- 34:16Speaker 1: live here, stay home, don't meet in groups, work away
- 34:20Speaker 1: from your normal working place to protect yourself. But we're
- 34:24Speaker 1: back in town. However, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi didn't do that.
- 34:27Speaker 1: She didn't call back the nation's congressmen and women back
- 34:30Speaker 1: to Capolo Hill again for safety reasons. For the first
- 34:33Speaker 1: time in its history, the US Supreme Court heard cases
- 34:35Speaker 1: by telephone yesterday. All the justices are over sixty five,
- 34:39Speaker 1: so with the coronavirus in mind, the High Court heard
- 34:42Speaker 1: the first of ten cases in a telephone conference while
- 34:45Speaker 1: allowing some members of the public to listen. In actually
- 34:48Speaker 1: just one more way in which the COVID nineteen pandemic
- 34:51Speaker 1: has forced American society to adjust to a new reality.
- 34:55Speaker 1: In a fundraising effort designed to fund research to find
- 34:58Speaker 1: a vaccine to fight the coronavirus and hosted by the
- 35:02Speaker 1: European Union, yesterday, more than fifty countries, organizations and institutions
- 35:06Speaker 1: made contributions. The trub administration did not participate. The EU
- 35:10Speaker 1: group hopes to support the development, they say, of both
- 35:13Speaker 1: a treatment and a vaccine that is accessible and affordable worldwide.
- 35:18Speaker 1: So that's why they're trying to get that money up.
- 35:20Speaker 1: By the way, California Governor Gavin Newsom is being challenged
- 35:23Speaker 1: in court over his continue to stay at home order
- 35:27Speaker 1: because of COVID nineteen, in which he says will remain
- 35:29Speaker 1: an effect until further notice. The governor says, can you
- 35:32Speaker 1: to maintain the closure of beaches and stuff in ocean
- 35:34Speaker 1: in Orange County, Florida started reopening yesterday. The governor calls
- 35:38Speaker 1: it phase one, with stores and restaurants operating at limited capacity.
- 35:42Speaker 1: And finally today is Sinco Dumaya. So enjoy and if
- 35:45Speaker 1: you don't you know about Mexican food, go online and
- 35:48Speaker 1: get a recipe and celebrate that way. Now back to
- 35:50Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the Steven Show. Well,
- 35:55Speaker 1: this week in the National Teacher Appreciation Week, guys and
- 36:00Speaker 1: love love, love our teachers and our educators. That's that's

- 36:25Speaker 1: we're like, yeah, we know about miss Blandon. Oh no,
- 36:29Speaker 1: I don't want I like Miss Cleveland and Miss Adams
- 36:31Speaker 1: and Ray Davis. Well, can I tell you something that's happening.
- 36:35Speaker 1: This is the first time we've seen the grandkids since quarantine. Okay, Okay,
- 36:41Speaker 1: Dre and I waited for two minutes after we caught
- 36:44Speaker 1: that flight home, so we make we clear to two weeks.
- 36:47Speaker 1: So yesterday was the first time we saw the grandkids,
- 36:50Speaker 1: and you know, day in school. And so Rose came
- 36:54Speaker 1: in and told me, yesterday, Papa, I'm at home school.
- 36:58Speaker 1: I walked right in my office, said, you're not feeling
- 37:00Speaker 1: to learn a damn thing over here. Grance is over
- 37:05Speaker 1: here to visit. Don't don't please don't ask Papa for
- 37:09Speaker 1: no help at the home school. Tomorrow. Your arts from school,
- 37:13Speaker 1: your smart children, you can miss teachers. Okay, thank you
- 37:19Speaker 1: for making that case and points, yes, thank god for teachers. Man, Carla,
- 37:26Speaker 1: how you doing with the home school. It's toughty, I'm
- 37:30Speaker 1: telling you, that's sixth grade math. It's always the math.
- 37:34Speaker 1: It's the math. It's a sixth grade math, and she's
- 37:37Speaker 1: doing a sixth grade science and projects. But let me
- 37:40Speaker 1: say this, I really now, and if I think most
- 37:43Speaker 1: parents feel this way, you appreciate teachers now way more
- 37:48Speaker 1: than ever. Yeah. See your baby, Tasha is y'all you
- 37:53Speaker 1: go to white school. Your sixth grade math different from

- 38:24Speaker 1: these kids are doing homeschool lessons. See, they're getting grades. Yeah,
- 38:28Speaker 1: this is into the school year. Last I told my grandkids,
- 38:33Speaker 1: We're not gonna do grade. Okay, I'm gonna yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 38:42Speaker 1: I told my grandkids, I'm gonna get your trust fund.
- 38:44Speaker 1: You'd be like, get out, don't ask me nothing. Well, again,
- 38:48Speaker 1: we appreciate our teachers and our educators are National Teacher
- 38:52Speaker 1: Appreciation Week. Thank you guys so much for the hard, hard,
- 38:55Speaker 1: hard work that you do. Yes, right, coming up in
- 38:58Speaker 1: thirty four minutes after our CNN's Don Lemon's trending viral video,
- 39:03Speaker 1: wait till you see this, we'll talk about it right
- 39:06Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to this Dave Harvey Show. In
- 39:11Speaker 1: trending viral video News CNN's host Don Lemon made a powerful,
- 39:15Speaker 1: powerful soliloquy. First, he praised former President Bush for calling
- 39:21Speaker 1: for unity during this pandemic, but then done really went
- 39:25Speaker 1: in and accused President Trump of being obsessed with former
- 39:29Speaker 1: President Barack Obama. If you missed it, take a listen.
- 39:33Speaker 1: What is it about President Obama that really gets under
- 39:37Speaker 1: your skin? Is it because he's smarter than you, better educated,
- 39:45Speaker 1: made it on his own, didn't need daddy's help. His
- 39:48Speaker 1: wife is more accomplished, better looking. I don't know what
- 39:52Speaker 1: is it? What is it about him? And he's a
- 39:54Speaker 1: black man that's accomplished, game president and he punked you
- 39:58Speaker 1: on the whole a certificate thing? What is it about him?
- 40:03Speaker 1: Just wondering asking him Donald, asking him talking to you?
- 40:13Speaker 1: You know this President? And I kid you not. Man
- 40:19Speaker 1: is the most childish, immature, true, not sisistic, uncaring, evasive, lying, paranoid, egotistical, shameless,
- 40:41Speaker 1: and the most I've never seen anybody points more fingers
- 40:47Speaker 1: at more people, And it's to blame for nothing. And
- 40:51Speaker 1: I think all of us who have lived in this
- 40:53Speaker 1: world long enough, we know somebody. We all have an
- 40:56Speaker 1: associate that used to we thought they were friends, and
- 40:59Speaker 1: we had to put them in associate column. Who acts
- 41:02Speaker 1: like they know every damn thing They are the most
- 41:05Speaker 1: uncomfortable people to be around because you know, no matter
- 41:08Speaker 1: what you say, they fin the topic. I don't care
- 41:12Speaker 1: what your story is. They got a bigger one. I
- 41:17Speaker 1: don't care what go wrong. Their opinion is always right.
- 41:20Speaker 1: And like Sherlt just said, one upsmanship. That's cool if
- 41:25Speaker 1: you if you a truck driver or a comedian, or
- 41:30Speaker 1: you are radio show holes, all that's good. You know.
- 41:35Speaker 1: Don't none of that fly as presents of the United States.
- 41:41Speaker 1: Damn dog. Don't if you drive a truck for pepsick,
- 41:45Speaker 1: because you can be all this I just name, but
- 41:51Speaker 1: this these qualities, man, unbecoming of the largest, supposedly richest
- 41:59Speaker 1: nation in the world. Get what and I have news
- 42:05Speaker 1: for you and I've done some discoveries traveling. This ain't
- 42:10Speaker 1: the richest nation in the world. Sorry, it's not. This
- 42:16Speaker 1: is the richest nation in the world that reports to
- 42:18Speaker 1: forb magazine. It's some people ain't on Forbes. They have
- 42:26Speaker 1: money that there are individuals that have more money than nations. Nations.
- 42:34Speaker 1: Really seriously, nations have more money than nation than nations, Tommy,
- 42:43Speaker 1: than nations. Wow, don't it's some people with some with
- 42:49Speaker 1: some paper, man, and I just we we are being
- 42:54Speaker 1: guided and led. And this is why I want people
- 42:56Speaker 1: to be careful. Man, listen to me. Let him run
- 42:59Speaker 1: the White House. Don't let him run your house. Let
- 43:06Speaker 1: him run the White House. Do not let him run
- 43:10Speaker 1: your house. Yeah, that's a book, right. It's a huge
- 43:14Speaker 1: difference because the White House has never been a great
- 43:18Speaker 1: benefit to us anyway over the years when they try
- 43:22Speaker 1: to do something for us by partisanship or some other
- 43:26Speaker 1: party knocks it down, even for the people that's trying
- 43:30Speaker 1: to do something good. But do not let this white
- 43:34Speaker 1: House narrative get into your house, because, man, this dude
- 43:40Speaker 1: is about him. He just has to be reelected so
- 43:43Speaker 1: he can stop these indictments that's coming his way. Because
- 43:46Speaker 1: the moment this man ain't pregnant, ain't President New York
- 43:50Speaker 1: got something for his ass, all right, Steve Well said,
- 43:54Speaker 1: coming up next, we'll play that whole Don Lemon excerpt
- 43:57Speaker 1: at the end of the show. And coming up next,
- 44:00Speaker 1: Nephew has today's prank phone calls Right after this you're
- 44:03Speaker 1: listening to show coming up at the top of the hour,
- 44:08Speaker 1: right about four minutes after it's my strawberry letter for
- 44:11Speaker 1: today today's subject, I may be falling for a liar.
- 44:17Speaker 1: But right now, nephew in the building, right here with
- 44:20Speaker 1: today's prank phone call. What you got for us? Now? Repo?
- 44:23Speaker 1: Repo man, it's time to repo. You had your car represents? Yeah,
- 44:28Speaker 1: hell yeah, but it took him three years to get
- 44:30Speaker 1: it though. Time out here in my call, three years, dog,
- 44:39Speaker 1: I stopped paying my payment. I ain got eight months behind.
- 44:41Speaker 1: They were looking for me hard. I kept my call
- 44:44Speaker 1: without a single payment for three years, without single payment.
- 44:49Speaker 1: Will you put it? It ain't impossible out on the road,
- 44:52Speaker 1: was this d you don't stand up? Hell? I lived
- 44:56Speaker 1: in it. Oh, so you couldn't get it, repo. I
- 45:00Speaker 1: would turn this in, dog, turn in my house. Right.
- 45:07Speaker 1: So was this before or after or during the times
- 45:10Speaker 1: you were turning on people's gas? Oh no, this was
- 45:14Speaker 1: this was after yeah, gas business because a police caught me. Okay,
- 45:21Speaker 1: this and this is why yeah, this is why the
- 45:27Speaker 1: lord made him rich though, because he could not have
- 45:29Speaker 1: a life of crime. Now I see them police, they
- 45:32Speaker 1: kind of they click. They was in a plane card
- 45:35Speaker 1: they got me turning somebody's gas back on front the street.
- 45:40Speaker 1: Oh so before we run this prank, let me answer this.
- 45:42Speaker 1: So were you ever at home. You ever in Cleveland
- 45:45Speaker 1: with the car? And how did you hide it in Cleveland? Oh?
- 45:49Speaker 1: I would take the car like to a grocery store,
- 45:52Speaker 1: park in the back like I worked night, Shiel. Get out,
- 45:55Speaker 1: catch the bus down to Saint Clair, get off and
- 45:58Speaker 1: walk down to Eddie Road. Yeah, I just parked in
- 46:01Speaker 1: a different department store here at night. Please, let's get
- 46:05Speaker 1: to the print. They have low jack, none of that
- 46:12Speaker 1: back then, what's your they gonna do? Oh? Boy, I
- 46:16Speaker 1: park it in my partner's house all that, man, I
- 46:19Speaker 1: never put that car in my driveway. Repo man, let's
- 46:26Speaker 1: go get hello. I'm trying to reach age. Please all right, y'all.
- 46:34Speaker 1: My name is uh Robert. I'm with the collection agency.
- 46:39Speaker 1: You do on a Sierra GMC truck. Am I correct? Y? Okay.
- 46:43Speaker 1: We don't show that we've had any payments within the
- 46:46Speaker 1: last I guess about three close to four months now,
- 46:49Speaker 1: and we want to try and stop having to come
- 46:51Speaker 1: in and repossess it. Maybe we give you a chance
- 46:53Speaker 1: to bring your payment in, but we haven't had a
- 46:55Speaker 1: payment from you in about four months, sir. Financial with
- 47:00Speaker 1: the other another thing, I don't, I don't. I don't
- 47:03Speaker 1: know what's in the moment. Yeah, I've been paying all time.
- 47:05Speaker 1: It's directed party from our call. We're about that. Well, Uh,
- 47:09Speaker 1: I'm with they've they've turned you over to us. I'm
- 47:11Speaker 1: with h Collection Agency and we haven't gotten anything from don't.
- 47:16Speaker 1: I don't show any uh, any paperwork here on the
- 47:18Speaker 1: computer at all that we've had any payments made within
- 47:21Speaker 1: the last four months. So that's why they've I've been
- 47:23Speaker 1: panning it all already turned it over to y'all without
- 47:26Speaker 1: my permission. They can't never tell my time. Is my
- 47:28Speaker 1: truck over to y'all to pack y'all? I don't even
- 47:30Speaker 1: know it. Well, I understand that. Sure. What happens is
- 47:32Speaker 1: if you haven't paid it in a certain amount of time,
- 47:34Speaker 1: it actually comes over to the collection agency. And that's
- 47:37Speaker 1: what they've done. They've actually sent it over to us. Uh.
- 47:39Speaker 1: They've given us, uh pretty much all the information on you.
- 47:42Speaker 1: I guess it's a gold this type of color uh
- 47:45Speaker 1: c eart the GMC truck from my understanding, Am I correct? Yeah?
- 47:48Speaker 1: That's truck. Okay. Um, Now, what I'm gonna need from
- 47:51Speaker 1: you today, Jeremy, is for you to come in uh
- 47:54Speaker 1: and make a payment to us this evening. For four
- 47:56Speaker 1: months so we can see so we don't have to
- 47:59Speaker 1: come in and represents truck. And I don't want to
- 48:00Speaker 1: have to do that. But if I have to send
- 48:02Speaker 1: a record out there to you, I have your address
- 48:04Speaker 1: on file as well. I don't want to have to
- 48:06Speaker 1: send anybody out to pick it up. Y'all not coming
- 48:10Speaker 1: get my truck. And I'm not paying y'all for for
- 48:12Speaker 1: now full months. I'm gonna paying my truck no all time,
- 48:15Speaker 1: every month. That's a deal, sir. I don't want to
- 48:17Speaker 1: get in a back and forth with you, but I'm
- 48:19Speaker 1: telling you exactly how it's gonna go. Now. I come
- 48:21Speaker 1: out there and repossess it myself. But I'm telling you
- 48:24Speaker 1: what Look slow, look, that's not that's not even where
- 48:28Speaker 1: we gotta go with that. Don't be you don't need
- 48:29Speaker 1: to be screaming and fussing and chaotic and come get
- 48:32Speaker 1: it yourself and all that they truck much truck, that's
- 48:36Speaker 1: gonna be that? What? Hang on, let's back up, because
- 48:39Speaker 1: I'm a man just like you. Man. What do you
- 48:40Speaker 1: mean it's gonna that's gonna be that? What are you saying?
- 48:43Speaker 1: What are you? What are you? What are you saying
- 48:44Speaker 1: to me. So I'm telling you. Look, i'm telling you
- 48:48Speaker 1: that I pay my truck not and that's a fun
- 48:51Speaker 1: I don't know, I don't know. Let's get I've already
- 48:54Speaker 1: stated to you before. I'm with an agency, and let's
- 48:57Speaker 1: get one thing straight. You don't tell me I tell
- 48:59Speaker 1: you now, Hey, hey, dude, call down on the phone.
- 49:03Speaker 1: It don't make no sense talking, you know, over the
- 49:06Speaker 1: phone and whatnot. You can come, you can come get
- 49:08Speaker 1: the truck. My truck right here I work. I'm ray
- 49:10Speaker 1: you can come. You can come, try to get my truck.
- 49:12Speaker 1: You come over here. S I'm already aware of where
- 49:15Speaker 1: you work in the whole nine yards. Now, I don't.
- 49:17Speaker 1: I'm trying to be as uh carded with you as
- 49:20Speaker 1: I can. Now you can clothe you're talking about. I'm
- 49:23Speaker 1: gonna get my trouble and I'll tell you I'll be
- 49:24Speaker 1: playing my So you know you should have dropped down
- 49:27Speaker 1: and be like, all right, I'm gonna check with somebody else,
- 49:29Speaker 1: check with somebody else to make sure I'm right. It
- 49:31Speaker 1: didn't call me back. I'm telling you you haven't paid anything.
- 49:35Speaker 1: That's what I'm telling you. I've got it listed on
- 49:37Speaker 1: the computer. You've been turned over an agency and you
- 49:40Speaker 1: haven't done it. You haven't done a thing. What are you? Stupid? You?
- 49:44Speaker 1: You you're raising your fresh scream in the house over
- 49:46Speaker 1: the phone like that because they ain't gonna do me me?
- 49:49Speaker 1: Are you no good? But you ain't get no money
- 49:50Speaker 1: from me? Then you ain't coming from my truck. With
- 49:52Speaker 1: a matter of fact, you could come from my truck.
- 49:55Speaker 1: I'm gonna being on my truck. I'm gonna wait on you.
- 49:57Speaker 1: What are you gonna be there? It doesn't make any difference, sir,
- 49:59Speaker 1: you how to get repossessed tonight? If I don't get
- 50:01Speaker 1: four months payment Brook, definitely, if I don't get four
- 50:05Speaker 1: months payment brought into me collection agency, your truck will
- 50:09Speaker 1: be taking care of. Hold on, listen, man, hold on
- 50:14Speaker 1: you kind of kind of serious truck part. You quick
- 50:20Speaker 1: cursing at me. That's what's wrong. Man. You look right outside.
- 50:26Speaker 1: You come over here and get it obviously that way
- 50:28Speaker 1: for you. Look, you know what, I'm at the point
- 50:30Speaker 1: I don't give a about this job. I'm ready to
- 50:32Speaker 1: come kick your That's what I'm ready to do. Calling
- 50:36Speaker 1: bad kay, I don't need a little scared hanging up
- 50:43Speaker 1: the phone. You're standing here like a man, and you
- 50:45Speaker 1: handle your problems. Hey, hold on, I'm man. I make
- 50:52Speaker 1: a bro. Stop calling. I'm at work too, doing my
- 50:55Speaker 1: job the same way you're doing yours. He will make
- 50:58Speaker 1: your money. Do you get truck? I got one more
- 51:02Speaker 1: thing I want to say to you before you go.

- 51:28Speaker 1: ones I'm about I'm trying to get She told me.
- 51:36Speaker 1: She told me, man, she said that boy loved that truck. Yeah.
- 51:40Speaker 1: That's my true love, my honest reputation. Man ain't man. Yeah, yeah,
- 51:48Speaker 1: you gotta, but you gotta good. I gotta ask. I
- 51:52Speaker 1: gotta ask you. Man, Tell me, brother, what is the
- 51:55Speaker 1: baddest I'm talking about the baddest radio show in the lane?
- 51:58Speaker 1: No Steve the Morning and now you have it? Hey, Tom,
- 52:07Speaker 1: what's the prank on my uncle? And he can? I
- 52:09Speaker 1: tell you one more thing that I did was the
- 52:11Speaker 1: slickest move I made. What's that? Man? I bought a
- 52:16Speaker 1: bike rack put that on the back of my car.
- 52:20Speaker 1: And now whoever I parked my car, I rolled my
- 52:23Speaker 1: bike home. Boy, you know the options I had then,
- 52:30Speaker 1: I could park anyway. I wanted to underhood in the rain,
- 52:35Speaker 1: ride my bike home in the rain, in the snow.
- 52:38Speaker 1: We get there. I had the same attitude the US
- 52:43Speaker 1: Pony Express head rain sleet, haila, snow. You got mail.

- 53:44Speaker 1: just like we're gonna read this one right here right now.
- 53:48Speaker 1: Buggle up, hold on tight, we got it for you.
- 53:50Speaker 1: Here it days scroll baby letter. Thank you nephew subject,
- 53:54Speaker 1: I may be falling for a liar. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 53:58Speaker 1: I'm a thirty year old divorced feml and I'm working
- 54:01Speaker 1: on my master's degree in nursing, so I wasn't focused
- 54:06Speaker 1: on dating after my divorce. But six months ago I
- 54:09Speaker 1: met an amazing twenty five year old man that was
- 54:12Speaker 1: heaven sent. He's tall, dark and handsome, with a nice house, car,
- 54:18Speaker 1: and two jobs. He is my everything and he takes
- 54:22Speaker 1: good care of me. He pays bills, cooks, cleans everything.
- 54:27Speaker 1: There is just one big problem that I have with him,
- 54:30Speaker 1: and I need your advice to see if it's a
- 54:33Speaker 1: deal breaker. This man is a liar. I have caught
- 54:37Speaker 1: him in a few big lies, and some things he
- 54:40Speaker 1: has told me don't add up. When we met, he
- 54:44Speaker 1: told me he was a virgin and we needed to
- 54:46Speaker 1: get married before we had sex. Well, two months ago,
- 54:50Speaker 1: we got a little tipsy and I was all over him.
- 54:54Speaker 1: He gave in and we had sex, and this man
- 54:57Speaker 1: knew my body better than I did. It was the
- 55:00Speaker 1: best I ever had and I was happy and mad
- 55:03Speaker 1: at the same time because there was no way this
- 55:06Speaker 1: guy was a virgin. Instead of admitting he lied. He
- 55:10Speaker 1: claimed that he learned everything about pleasing a woman by
- 55:13Speaker 1: watching porn. Uncle Steve, is that even possible? I caught
- 55:18Speaker 1: him lying about being at work when he was really
- 55:21Speaker 1: playing basketball and napping all day. I caught him in
- 55:25Speaker 1: so many lies because he forgets what he's lied about.
- 55:28Speaker 1: This makes me doubt most things he says, but his
- 55:32Speaker 1: good does outweigh his bad. Over the weekend, I heard
- 55:36Speaker 1: him on the phone with his cousin saying that he's
- 55:38Speaker 1: planning to propose in December after I graduate. I'm not
- 55:42Speaker 1: sure if I should overlook the lies to stay with him.
- 55:45Speaker 1: This is a fairly new relationship, so I have to
- 55:49Speaker 1: trust whatever he tells me for now. Should I investigate
- 55:53Speaker 1: him before I end up falling in love with a
- 55:55Speaker 1: big liar? Please help me out. Well, you know, based
- 56:00Speaker 1: on the fact that you wrote into us, it sounds
- 56:03Speaker 1: like you're having some issues, some doubt, some some problems,
- 56:07Speaker 1: and I just got to ask you, why would you
- 56:10Speaker 1: do this to yourself? I mean, really, trust is like
- 56:15Speaker 1: a really important thing in a relationship. I mean one
- 56:19Speaker 1: of the most important things in a relationship. You have
- 56:22Speaker 1: to be able to trust your partner, and you can't
- 56:24Speaker 1: trust this guy. You can't. You said it yourself. You
- 56:27Speaker 1: haven't even known him that long, and he's lying already.
- 56:33Speaker 1: I hate just lying for no reason, or, like we
- 56:36Speaker 1: say on this show, lying when the truth will do.
- 56:39Speaker 1: Don't let his great you know, skills in the bedroom,
- 56:42Speaker 1: the good sex and all that. Don't let that blind you.
- 56:45Speaker 1: All these are red flags. I mean, you said he
- 56:48Speaker 1: knew your body better than you do and all that.
- 56:50Speaker 1: That means he's not a virgin. Well, okay, so you
- 56:54Speaker 1: know he's not a virgin. I mean, but I just
- 56:58Speaker 1: gotta I mean, I guess he could learn some of
- 57:00Speaker 1: those tricks by watching porn, but I would think he
- 57:03Speaker 1: would have to practice on someone to get it as
- 57:05Speaker 1: right as you say it is. So you know that's
- 57:09Speaker 1: a lie. But that's not it's a lie is a lie.
- 57:12Speaker 1: It's not just a huge lie. And don't get me wrong.
- 57:14Speaker 1: Everybody lies, don't they. But I just say, if he's
- 57:17Speaker 1: a lying before, if he's lying before the marriage, I
- 57:20Speaker 1: heard you, Tommy, he's going to lie in the marriage,
- 57:23Speaker 1: in the relationship, he's just gonna lie. He worked two
- 57:26Speaker 1: jobs and all of this, but you caught him playing
- 57:29Speaker 1: basketball and not at work. And sleeping all day. Maybe
- 57:32Speaker 1: that was just one day, but I think you really
- 57:34Speaker 1: need to be in this relationship longer, long enough to
- 57:37Speaker 1: see if this is really really really a pattern. You
- 57:40Speaker 1: have a few lies here and a few lies there
- 57:42Speaker 1: to base this relationship on. I just think it's a
- 57:45Speaker 1: lot of lying to be so early in the game,
- 57:48Speaker 1: and he's not going to change too many lies. So
- 57:53Speaker 1: I don't think this is worth it, right, I just don't.
- 57:56Speaker 1: I think you know you're already worried, so maybe you
- 58:00Speaker 1: need to move on. Steve, see these men in these letters.
- 58:06Speaker 1: I feel for women because we are such gamers, but
- 58:10Speaker 1: I know the game. This letter is entitled I may
- 58:13Speaker 1: be falling for a liar. The title I want to
- 58:17Speaker 1: give the letter it's Blessings in Lies. Today's sermon, it's
- 58:24Speaker 1: blessings in lies. Let's begin with the blessings. After your
- 58:32Speaker 1: divorce six months you met an amazing man twenty five
- 58:39Speaker 1: year was heaven sent. That is a blessing. He's tall,
- 58:44Speaker 1: dark and handsome. Another blessing, nice house call, two jabs, blessings.
- 58:53Speaker 1: He is my everything. Blessings. He takes care of me.
- 58:57Speaker 1: Listen to this. He paid bills. Lord Jesus blessing. He
- 59:03Speaker 1: cooks and cleans blessings, blessings everything, this is a blessing.
- 59:11Speaker 1: There's one problem that I had with him, and I
- 59:15Speaker 1: need your advice. If it's a deal breaker. Come on
- 59:19Speaker 1: him now. This man is a liar. We've now gotten
- 59:27Speaker 1: away from this letter field with so many blessings to
- 59:32Speaker 1: now only find out he's a damn lick. Caught him
- 59:40Speaker 1: in some big lies. Told me stuff ain't add up.
- 59:45Speaker 1: When we met, he told me he was a virgin
- 59:49Speaker 1: and we needed to get married before we had said
- 59:52Speaker 1: where he had? Why didn't you meet? This man got
- 59:57Speaker 1: two cars, nice job, a house, and cre handsome tall dog,
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: and he'll virgin where he at. Hold on, see we'll
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: find out. Oh I got it for you. Yeah, when
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: we get to part two of your response, coming up
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: at twenty three minutes after the hour, Today's Strawberry Letter.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: I may be falling for a liar. We'll find out.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening show,
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: I may be falling for a liar. All right. I'm
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: gonna kill the minister thing and I just go to
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: the bank. Thirty year old divorced female getting the masters
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: to greed and met the man of her dreams, mazing
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: twenty five year old. She said, he haven't said he
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: tall dog and he has. That's everything right there, tall
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: dog and hands. He got a nice house, call, he
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: got two jobs. Here, everything takes good care of me,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: all these blessings, like I said, he paid bills, blessings,
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: cook blesses, bless his heart, Jesus cleans everything. But there's
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: a problem I had with him to see if it's
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: a deal breaker. This man is a liar. He telled
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: damn lies all the time. OUTA caught him in some
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: big lives and some things he's told me just didn't
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: add up. She said, now here we go. When we
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: met and he told me he was a virgin and
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: we needed to get married before we had sex. Women,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: didn't you just say he was your everything? Didn't you
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: say he paid bills, cooks, cleans. Didn't you say that
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: he got a nice house, a car, and two jobs.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: She said, what makes you think you're the first woman
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: that been in this nice ass house and this nice
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: ass call with this man with these two jobs. Why
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: do you think he working two jobs. He working two
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: jobs to better himself. He working two jobs to getting
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: more women. Now much listen to me, well two months
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: ago said she said he was a virgin. We got
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: a little tips and I was all over him. He
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: gave in and we had sex. And this man knew
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: my body better than I did. It was the best
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: I've ever had blessings and I was happy blessing, but
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: I was mad at the same time because there was
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: no way this guy was a virgin. Instead of admitting it,
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: he lied. He claimed that he learned everything about pleasing
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: the woman by watching pawn Uncle Stevens that even possible.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: Hell no, let me strange something to you. Do you
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: know how many times out and watched the damn Olympics?
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: Oh love them. Since I've been born, I've never missed
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: a summer Olympics. Do you know many times I watched
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: Michael Phelps win a gold medal in that swimming pool
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: and guess what, I can't swim work for Damn stand
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: at the TV ki just in and wat I'm splashing.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: I didn't even jump in there and try to Damn
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: near killed myself. I can't watch no point and learn
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: how to do sex. Good. You can learn a couple
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: of tricks moves, but it don't make you good at it.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: Sex is something you got to if you gifted at
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: It's caused you is, yeah, yes, it sees now. Man
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: didn't here know your body with bet in yours. That's
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: because he's been round before, up and down. Yeah, I
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: love it when we're cruising together. That's what he'd been doing.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: He'd been cruising on several people. I know my way
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: around your body is because I haven't been around somebody, yes,
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: other body many times. Okay, all right, I hear you.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: See go on his Facebook page and look at his
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: nickname what freeway, fast and furious. He got it. He
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: got names, looked like he had been all over the highway.
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: Transformer show me your teeth, White Mark BC's booty clincher.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: I called him lying about being at work when he
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: was really playing basketball and napping all day. I've caught
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: him in so many lies because he forgets what he
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: lied about. This makes me doubt everything. He's safe, but
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: he's good. Does I way too bad? I know what
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: you're talking about. You're looking at that house. He paying
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: the bills, he got them, calls for you, he cooked,
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: he cleaned everything, and not to mention, he didn't watch
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: all the Pornto tapes. And it's now the best you've
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: ever had. So that's the good that you say and
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: outweighs the bad. Over the weekend, heard him talking home
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: on phone to his cousin say he was gonna propose
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: when you graduate. Now you want to know if I
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: should overlook the lies and stay with it. This is
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: a fairly new relationship. Do I trust whatever he tells
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: me for now? Why would you? What kind of question
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: is that? Do I trust everything he tells? You can
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: caught him in how many lies? Trust? Why would you
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: trust what he tells you? Yeah? Should I investigate him? Yes?
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: Google told you to go on Facebook? Gone tender? He
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: not tasted? He got nicknames tasted that might be my favorite,
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: you know one of them. I heard a girl call
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: him Atlas one time because he knows way round New Hamble.
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: All right, listen, thank you, Steve. Post your comments screw
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: drivel on Today's Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey FM on
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: Instagram and Facebook, and please check out the Strawberry Letter
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: podcast on demand. Now come on, girlook saying, oh you
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: must be the black stormy oh, coming up with forty
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: six minutes actually the power stall. Yeah, happy sink Sinko
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: de Mayo, and we'll talk about that right after this.
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show, it's happy
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: sinco de Mayo. That's that's what today is may fifth,
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: single demayo. It's often pused. Yeah, it often gets confused
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: with Mexican Independence Day, but today is Sinko Demyo. It
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: commemorates the Mexican Army's victory at the Battle of Puebla
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: during the Franco Mexican War in eighteen sixty two. Mexico
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: actually declared its independence fifty years earlier. So shout out
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: to all of our Hispanic yeah Tino brothers and sisters.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: Thinking it might celebrates Mexican culture and heritage. So um,
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: I mean, we've been to Mexico so many times. We
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: love Mexico. Yeah, and Steve, remember when you used to
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: take lessons, Spanish lessons on the air. Anything you want
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: to say, Yeah, in Spanish, our style of wigal you know,
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: goodbye boys. You know Rivera Dircy and you know I
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: do a mixture, yeah, you know I was doing them
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: on the air. But I tell you one thing, though,
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: I learned how to cuss a little bit. I like that.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: But I learned Colleen Tate, Collen Tate, June. You know
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: what that meant? Yeah, And I learned kolo. And any
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: time you say that to Latinos, they just bust out
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: laughing in your face. They don't give a damn who
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: you are. If I say, hey, man, Colinn, take coolo,
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: they just bust out laughing in my damn flame. So
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: I thought that was the two words that was essential
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: to me living in Texas, and now used just you know,
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: hair crews over there at the house and stuff. They know,
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: those builders and stuff, contractors, a lot, a lot of Latinos.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: And you know, I knew it was hot outside, so
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: I said, man, who Colligne? Yeah Micolo, Mi cool Colne.
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: They'd be bored. They'd be a holly laughing. He said,
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: he's so stupid. Man here watch you only know too
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: was watching this. Watch this, ed, mister Harvey, what's up Collie?
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: The baby coolo? Now? And you know I would just
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: change their inflection and they laugh harder. They said, this
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: is really think he speaks, He saying the damn thing,
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: you know. And mister Steve klep hill Boy. They say
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: this man, this hell negro ye. You're listening, all right, Steve.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: Italy and the US are just a few of the
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: countries that are easing back coronavirus restrictions to try and
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: revive our economies. Here at home in America, people in
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: Chicago are still disobeying staying at home orders by having
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: block parties. And Mayor Lori Lightfoot is really upset. She
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: does not play when it comes to this coronavirus. Yeah. Um.
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: People in Atlanta are going to the mall for Jordan sneakers,
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: or they were standing in line yesterday for the opening
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: of Lenox Mall as well, and a lot of people
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: aren't wearing masks. Yeah, for Jordan's sneakers and stuff. Florida
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: and Texas, the beaches are packed. Protesters in Michigan carrying rifles,
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: waving correct Confederate flags demanding the governor reopened the states
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: so they can get a haircut. What what you're waving
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: the Confederate flags so you can get a hit? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: just cut your own damn hattie. Okay, all right, yeah yeah.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: And all them people protesting, can we get them to
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: say keep cutting mullet stay sill. And you know, these
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: virus outbreaks at the nation's meat factories and the Midwest
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: are going on as well. Various science models have dramatically
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: increased the COVID nineteen death toll. And so what do
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: you think, Steve, Are we reopening too soon? I mean
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: we've talked about a lot of Listen, Like Carla was
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: saying earlier, I get that people. I look, man, people
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: that's out of work. They got to make these ends meet.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: I do get it, man, I do get it. And
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: sometimes they out the risk reward fact that they're willing
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: to take the risk till for their family to survive,
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: to feel like they can keep a roof over their head,
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: or keep their car or keep the balls in the air.
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: So I get it, man. Yeah, but here's the problem.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: Without a vaccine, without a cure, without them finding a
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: way to even just slow it the effects of the disease,
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: when you get it, they don't really have that that
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: that that's drug they got out. Now there's remind remedant
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: or whatever they call it. Yeah, yeah, there you go, Junior,
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: know all that, and so and so you know when
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: when they when they when they if they could come
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: out with something. But I get it, man, people want
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: to go back, and they're putting pressure on these governors
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: so they can keep their lives together. But it's a
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: horrible choice to have to make your health or your wealth.
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: And that's there, and especially when we're not really talking
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: real wealth. We're just talking about the ability to keep
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: the doors and the roof and electricity on. And yeah,
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: and that's why I lot of people are facing and
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: I understand and wanting to go. So is it too soon, Yes,
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: it is. But I do understand people wanting to go
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: to work now going to wanting to go to the
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: mall and to the movie and bowling and getting your
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: hair cut. That's not what I call opening. If people
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: want to go back to work, if a company can
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: get some social distancing and hand washing and wear masks
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: at work, I understand people wanting to go to work.
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: I ain't knocking. What about it if you are a
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: barber and you are a hairstylists, and you do own
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: a movie theater and you do own a store in
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: the mall, Yeah, yeah, it's it's horrible. It's a catch
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: everywhere you looking at. I want a hair cut. I'm
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: tired of looking like it. It came from the file.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: I'll be but I'm gonna look like it. Can't try
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: to get back into group. I'm gonna wait, though, Shirlette,
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: I looked just like the James Brown last book shot,
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: that wavy hair, his cap off. I'm gonna wait. The
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: girls like the girls, you know that. I wait? All right,
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: coming up more of today's trending stories on the Steve
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. We'll be back in twenty minutes after
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: the hour. Right after this. You're listening to show. All right, Carla,
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: you're up with your music news. What you got for us? Girl? Okay,
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: So we talked about this earlier before we got on
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: the air. So Swiss Beats and Timberland, you know they
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: kind of started those Instagram live battle the battles, uh huh.
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: So you know we know Teddy Riley baby Face. That
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: was big. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They got a lot of followers,
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: and it's actually helping the artists. It's helping them sell music,
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: and it's followers go you go up on social media.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: That's right, shortly stay relevant. So now get ready. Timberland
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: is saying it's time for the queens to battle. Y'all
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: head to Head Saturday night, May nine, seven pm Eastern Air,
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: cut by du Versus Jill God, my heart right here,
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: this is close to my heart. Those my favorites right there. Wow,
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: that's that is you're talking about Tyrone other side of
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: the game. Hit after hit, Ye like it's golden getting
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: in the way, long walk the way. I don't know.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: I just don't know. You gott I gotta go with yeah, Yeah,
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: you got history with Erica. I love them both the same.
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: I'm shirt, I'm gonna probably be Saturday night just pulling
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: my hair just I know. All right, that's gonna be
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: good Marva. Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up, and some
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: trending news at thirty three minutes after the hour. Right
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: All right, Steve, you're ready. Time for asking who the
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: chief love Officer. Here we go. This one is from
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: Tammy in Oklahoma. Tammy says, my boyfriend and I have
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: been together for nine years and we have four children together.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: I really want to be with him forever, but he
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: is not the most romantic man in the world, and
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: our relationship is getting stale. I am tired of giving
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: him hints around Valentine's Day or my birthday to do
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: something special for me. He tells me he loves me
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: every day, but I no longer feel the love. How
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: can I get him to stop taking me for granted? Well,
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: so the first thing you have to do is stop
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: taking yourself for granted. You've been his boyfriend for nine
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: years and you have four children. If you won't more,
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: you have to command more. Why would he give you
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: more when he knows you're willing to settle for being
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: his girlfriend, and he your boyfriend for nine years? How
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: can I get him to be more romantic? I think
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: the bigger question is how can you get him to
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: commit to you and marry you? How can you give
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: the children his last name? Nine? In your business, they
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: don't make no difference whether you do it or not.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: But you wrote in to me, so I'm just saying
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: to you, I'm just trying, in a nice little Christian way,
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: just offer you a suggestion. Aim a little bit higher.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: I want something for my birthday. I want something for
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: Valentine's Day? How about a damn wedd How about that?
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: If you don't, if you quit aiming so low, you
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: might mess Ronnie go somewhere. She didn't mention a wedding
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: or marriage at all. No, I've been here here my
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: boyfriend for nine years. We got four kids. What what?
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: All right, We'll move on to Carmen and Philly. Carman says,
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: I'm a divorced single mother. My X and I didn't
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: have a custody battle, nor did I put him on
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: child support. I'm regretting it now. Legally I have to
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: let our three year old daughter visit him, even though
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: he doesn't provide any financial support for her. I have
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: to pack any and everything she might need because my
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: X doesn't have any clothes, toys, not even a toothbrush
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: for a little girl at his house. I want to
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: drag him back to court, but I don't want to
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: be angry the angry ex wife. How should I approach this? Well,
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: you don't have to be the angry ex wife. Yeah,
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: you just have to have this man be responsible for
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: his child. It's called the law. Yeah, it's not. You're
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: not the angry X. It's a man can't get off
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: the hook for his response ability to his children. All right,
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: coming up our last break of the day, This last
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: break out of day Spanish happy Sinko de Mayo and
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: coming up, you're gonna lead us into this, Steve, but
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: we're gonna replay the entire done Lemon viral as my remarks, Yeah,
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: viral audio as your closing remarks. He asked President Trump,
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: what is it about you? What do you have against
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: Barack Obama, our former president? We'll do that coming up
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: at forty nine minutes after the hour. Right after this,
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Morning Show. All right, here
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: we are, last break of the day. It's been a
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: good day. It's been a fun yeah. Yeah. And later, well, yeah,
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: and see if you have something special for us. Instead
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: of your closing remarks, yeah, instead of my closing remarks.
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: What I wanted to do was Don Lemon really kind
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: of nailed it on the head, you know, and he
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: did it in a really really eloquent way, eloquent way,
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: you know. I just his comment his commentary was really
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: really spot on. I know everybody don't agree with him
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: about everything he says, but for the most part, I
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: find myself sitting there shaking my head, going yeah, yeah, Now,
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: I know people on Fox don't like CNN and Vice
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: versus CNN don't like people on Fox. And that's the
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: problem we have in this country. We can't get anybody
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: to give us the information as facts. You got a
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: closer chance of getting it on CNN what's really going on.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: But then you know, Fox tries to give out the
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: news of what's going on with the coronavirus too. I've
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: seen them do some really really good reports, and then
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: I've seen some mediotics. Steff commanded there too. But Don
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: Lemmi's commentary on the state of our nation with this
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: president was quite compelling, and here it is in his
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: entire so I said it before. Everybody wants the economy
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: to come back. Come on, people are hurting, millions of
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: jobs lost, millions of people not sure where to get
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: the money to pay the rent and put food on
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: the table. But the president wants to be able to
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: showcase an economic recovery. It's his ace in the hole
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: with election day just six months away, and it just
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: can't seem to muster the kind of compassion that we
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: need from our president. With more and more Americans getting
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: sick and more and more Americans dying, he is longing
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: to get back to crowded campaign rallies, right seriousness. Hopefully
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: our country will soon. Men, we are all missing our
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: wonderful rallies and many other things. No we're not. He's
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: bragging about his golf courses. And then there is this
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: one of the most transparent and ludicrous attempts at distraction
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: that we have seen from a president who has got
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: a million of them, retweeting an utterly absurd claim by
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: a conspiracy theorist that the former president Barack Obama was
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: behind what he calls the Russia hoax. This one is
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: really a new low from a president who goes low
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: all the time. It is obviously completely untrue. It's a
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: disturbed fantasy, and just as obviously he doesn't really expect
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: you to believe it. He just wants to turn the
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: page to get you to think about something anything other
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: than one of the worst crises in this nation's history.
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: Look in the mirror, mister president, it's you, and this
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: is nothing but a shameless attempt to distract from your
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: own administration's mishandling of a crisis that's cost over sixty
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: seven thousand American lines. And by the way, you were
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: warned about a pandemic like this by the Obama administration.
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: That's leadership that's compassion. It's too bad that President Trump
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: can't show either. By the way, what is it about
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: President Obama that really gets under your skin? Is it
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: because he's smarter than you, better educated, made it on
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: his own, didn't need daddy's help, wife, is more accomplished,
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: better looking. I don't know what is it? What is
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: it about him? And he's a black man that's accomplished,
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: game president and he punked you on the whole certificate thing.
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: What is it about him? I'm just wondering. Wow, you
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: know what, I've never seen anybody. This is David Copperfield
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: in the White House. This is Chris Angel Now you
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: see me? No you, now you don't. His philosophy of
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: it can't be me, it has to be you. It's
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: and if it's certainly not me, then it has to
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: be you, because certainly it's not me. I didn't say that,
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: that's fake news. No, you said it. You said it
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: thousands of thousand times. You know what. It's so because
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: I said it, and I have a lot of people
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: who will let me say anything I want and go
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: along with it. That's the real sadness of this country
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: that we're in the tens of millions of people who
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: will allow him to say all of this stuff. Then
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: I know these people know this is wrong, and they
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: go along with it. They go along with it because
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: he's a Republican. What that's an element? Can I tell
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: you something? Ain't nobody leading me down the dog path.
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: I don't give a damn what party they're in. I
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: have enough common sense to think for myself. And like
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: I told y'all earlier on the show, don't let them
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: people that's running the White House run your house. Don't
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: get they don't know what's happening in your house. Don't
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: let these people in your house. Man, It's really sad
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: what's going on. I really want to appreciate, applaud Don
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: Lemon's courage and just spott on performance of what we're
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: facing in this day in the White House. And I
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: agree with him one hundred percent on that. So hey,
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: look y'all be good man. We'll see y'all tomorrow. God willing,
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: and I would say, have a nice weekend, but just
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: how you do so, I don't even know what dead is.
