- 2:07Speaker 6: nowt one.
- 2:08Speaker 1: It only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man. Oh man,
- 2:12Speaker 1: ain't god good? Yeah?
- 2:14Speaker 6: Yes, hey, you know I want to remind everybody today
- 2:18Speaker 6: that you got to keep pressing forward.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Man.
- 2:21Speaker 6: I know it gets difficult out there sometimes, but you
- 2:23Speaker 6: got to keep pressing forward.
- 2:25Speaker 1: There's nothing else for you to do.
- 2:27Speaker 6: The option of quitting, turning back, giving up it cannot
- 2:32Speaker 6: be there. The thoughts can pop into your head, but
- 2:35Speaker 6: when they do, you got to pray about it. But
- 2:37Speaker 6: you got to keep pressing forward. You got to keep
- 2:40Speaker 6: it moving, man. I don't care how dark and dirty
- 2:44Speaker 6: you get. For you, you got to somehow summon it
- 2:46Speaker 6: up within you to keep it moving, to keep pressing forward,
- 2:50Speaker 6: because the only way you're gonna get it is. You
- 2:52Speaker 6: got to stay in the race. You know, you've heard
- 2:55Speaker 6: it said a thousand times. The race isn't given to
- 2:57Speaker 6: the swift, but to him that endure it to the end,
- 3:00Speaker 6: to stay with it, whatever it is. I don't know
- 3:02Speaker 6: what it is for you, but whatever it is, you
- 3:04Speaker 6: got to stay with it, because Quentin, don't let you
- 3:07Speaker 6: see the end result, give it up. Don't let you
- 3:09Speaker 6: see the end results turning back, don't let you.
- 3:12Speaker 1: See the end. The only way to see the end.
- 3:14Speaker 6: Results is you got to finish the race, because the
- 3:17Speaker 6: victory may be nearer than it seems. There's a poem
- 3:20Speaker 6: I learned in college under some stressful situations. I've just
- 3:23Speaker 6: said like that. There is a stanza in this poem
- 3:26Speaker 6: called don't Quit that says, often the goal is nearer
- 3:31Speaker 6: than it seems to a faint and a faltering man,
- 3:36Speaker 6: And often the struggler has given up when he might
- 3:40Speaker 6: have captured the victor's cup, and he learns too late,
- 3:44Speaker 6: when the night came down, how close he was to
- 3:48Speaker 6: the golden crown. Now that's just a stanza in it.
- 3:52Speaker 6: The poem is much longer than that. I know the
- 3:54Speaker 6: whole thing because I learned it. But I've always remembered
- 3:59Speaker 6: that that the goal is often nearer than it seems
- 4:06Speaker 6: to a faint and a faltery man. And oftentimes the
- 4:09Speaker 6: struggler has given up when he might have captured the
- 4:13Speaker 6: victor's cup. But then he learns too late, when the
- 4:17Speaker 6: night came down, how close he was to the golden crown.
- 4:21Speaker 6: And there's the last stands of the poem says, it
- 4:23Speaker 6: may be near when it seems afar, so stick to
- 4:27Speaker 6: the fight when your heart is tited. It's when things
- 4:31Speaker 6: seem worse that you mustn't quit. That that poem is
- 4:35Speaker 6: really it's an unknown author to the poem, so if
- 4:39Speaker 6: you want to look it up, it's called don't Quit.
- 4:42Speaker 6: The author is unknown. But you know I'm talking to
- 4:45Speaker 6: you today from the standpoint of encouragement. I want to
- 4:48Speaker 6: I want to show you an analogy that I've tripped
- 4:50Speaker 6: on this morning when I was thinking about something I
- 4:54Speaker 6: wanted and I was thinking, you know, okay, if you
- 4:57Speaker 6: have a job, the way you have have to do
- 5:00Speaker 6: your job, your job forces you to do this, so
- 5:02Speaker 6: you can't just randomly do this on your job.
- 5:05Speaker 1: A job forces you to plan ahead a little bit.
- 5:08Speaker 6: A job requires that you go through the procedures in
- 5:11Speaker 6: order for something to happen that you want to happen. Example,
- 5:15Speaker 6: you want a vacation, you have to put in for
- 5:18Speaker 6: that vacation, and that's what it's called on your job,
- 5:21Speaker 6: just put in. You may dress it up some other way,
- 5:23Speaker 6: but the common sense you have to put in. You
- 5:26Speaker 6: got to do that because the job requires it. You
- 5:29Speaker 6: got to put in for your vacation. If you want
- 5:31Speaker 6: a promotion and you see it post it somewhere that
- 5:36Speaker 6: we are now have a position opening, you got to
- 5:38Speaker 6: put in for that.
- 5:39Speaker 1: You just can't sit back and hope they pick you.
- 5:43Speaker 6: Because they're probably going to pick the person who wants it,
- 5:46Speaker 6: who shows the initiative to go get it. So you
- 5:49Speaker 6: have to put in for a promotion on a lot
- 5:51Speaker 6: of jobs. If you want some days off, a couple
- 5:55Speaker 6: of days here, a couple days there, you got to
- 5:58Speaker 6: put in for that.
- 6:00Speaker 1: But all of these are things that you want.
- 6:02Speaker 6: You want vacations, you want a day off here, and
- 6:04Speaker 6: now you want some promotions. If you want a raise,
- 6:08Speaker 6: you have to go in and request a raise. It
- 6:13Speaker 6: requires an action on your part on your job. And
- 6:17Speaker 6: guess what we've all accepted this as this is the
- 6:19Speaker 6: way it's done. You want to raise, you have to
- 6:22Speaker 6: put in for a raise. You want to raise, you
- 6:23Speaker 6: got to go in and have a meeting and take
- 6:25Speaker 6: a request so you can show your value to get
- 6:27Speaker 6: to raise. You want a vacation time, you got to
- 6:29Speaker 6: put in for that, and then they got to they
- 6:31Speaker 6: can tell you, yeah, your name, You want a promotion,
- 6:33Speaker 6: same thing, you want some days off, same thing. Okay,
- 6:36Speaker 6: that's the deal with your job. Well, that's the deal
- 6:39Speaker 6: with your life too. That exact picture that I painted
- 6:42Speaker 6: for you that you're all so very much aware of
- 6:44Speaker 6: that you're very crystal clear on the rules and regulations
- 6:47Speaker 6: that you have no problem following him the same rules
- 6:50Speaker 6: for your life. What you mean by that, Steve, You
- 6:52Speaker 6: got to put in with God. You got to put
- 6:55Speaker 6: in for what you want with God. And it's as
- 6:59Speaker 6: simple as that you put in. See you want some
- 7:03Speaker 6: more of this, some more that you got to put
- 7:05Speaker 6: in with God.
- 7:07Speaker 1: You put in with your job.
- 7:08Speaker 6: You go down there and ask that man what you want,
- 7:10Speaker 6: and you ain't got no problem following the rules. Well,
- 7:13Speaker 6: put in with God what you want? What your list?
- 7:16Speaker 6: What's your request? What do you really want? How much
- 7:20Speaker 6: money you really trying to make, where you really trying
- 7:23Speaker 6: to live? What kind of career and job would you
- 7:25Speaker 6: really like to have? What kind of person would you
- 7:27Speaker 6: really like to be? What type of family are you
- 7:30Speaker 6: hoping and wishing for? Who is the person you want
- 7:33Speaker 6: in your life? What type of person do you what's
- 7:35Speaker 6: the relationship you're looking for? What you want? You got
- 7:38Speaker 6: to put in for that. You got to put in.
- 7:40Speaker 6: You got to go to God and put in for that. See,
- 7:42Speaker 6: we'll follow the rules set to us up, set us
- 7:45Speaker 6: up and set up by us in a system. But
- 7:48Speaker 6: we simple rules of putting in for your life. Man,
- 7:51Speaker 6: we don't even do that. I wish I would put
- 7:54Speaker 6: in for a job and not put in for God.
- 7:55Speaker 6: You gotta be kidding me. You think this man that
- 7:58Speaker 6: has this company can have more to offer to you
- 8:00Speaker 6: in terms of vacation, promos and raisers, Then God got
- 8:03Speaker 6: for you for your life. Man, you keep putting too
- 8:06Speaker 6: much faith in Man, that's what's wrong with us. I
- 8:08Speaker 6: show hope he give me his raise. I'll show hope.
- 8:10Speaker 6: I don't even go to people with that.
- 8:12Speaker 1: I go to.
- 8:13Speaker 6: God about it. Then God touched them people's hearts. Then
- 8:16Speaker 6: when I walk in there, it's already done. That's how
- 8:20Speaker 6: you capture this thing, folks. It's not a magic trick.
- 8:23Speaker 6: It's just a real simple understanding. Why would you not
- 8:26Speaker 6: put in with God? If you're gonna put in on
- 8:28Speaker 6: your job, that don't make no sense. Where you get
- 8:30Speaker 6: the job from? Where your job? Where your boss get
- 8:33Speaker 6: his position from? Where did this company come from? So
- 8:36Speaker 6: when you peel back to but now that it all
- 8:38Speaker 6: make a lot of sense, don't it?
- 8:40Speaker 1: It really does. And I'm just a common sense god.
- 8:42Speaker 7: You know.
- 8:42Speaker 6: Look, I don't have the education that a lot of
- 8:44Speaker 6: people have, but I gotta show show enough bunch of
- 8:47Speaker 6: life experience. Though Oh I've been I've been getting smacked
- 8:51Speaker 6: and knocked down the majority of my life. Oh I
- 8:53Speaker 6: may look good to you now there look like he
- 8:55Speaker 6: got his shine going on. And I am grateful to
- 8:57Speaker 6: God for my life that I got now because it
- 9:00Speaker 6: ain't the one I had. But I got news for you.
- 9:02Speaker 6: It ain't the one I thought I was gonna have
- 9:04Speaker 6: until I put in for it. I ain't see none
- 9:06Speaker 6: of this until I put in for it. And you know,
- 9:08Speaker 6: as I saw it shaping and forming, and I said, God,
- 9:11Speaker 6: could that really be happening. I wonder if you could
- 9:14Speaker 6: make me this, Lord, I was wondering, Man, could I
- 9:16Speaker 6: really have a syndicated radio show. Lord, I make it happen.
- 9:20Speaker 6: If it's in your wheel. I put in for it.
- 9:22Speaker 8: Now.
- 9:22Speaker 1: I'm working my tail off now because that's a part
- 9:25Speaker 1: of it.
- 9:25Speaker 7: See.
- 9:26Speaker 6: But then God tells you that too. He says, faith
- 9:28Speaker 6: without works is dead. I'm working my behind off. But
- 9:32Speaker 6: the big thing is I put in for it. So
- 9:34Speaker 6: I got a bunch of more stuff that I don't
- 9:36Speaker 6: put in for God. I can't tell y'all what it is,
- 9:38Speaker 6: but oh, Lord, have mercy. I'm in line. I'm putting
- 9:41Speaker 6: in for all the blessings that's due me. If God's
- 9:45Speaker 6: passing out of raising blessings, I'm lined up. He passing
- 9:49Speaker 6: out extra checks down at the job. I'm lined up
- 9:52Speaker 6: because I'm putting in. Why don't you put in too?
- 9:55Speaker 6: Come on, y'all, talk to God. He loved hear from.
- 9:57Speaker 9: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:05Speaker 6: Another day is upon us, another blessing, another opportunity, another
- 10:10Speaker 6: grand chance, another shot at it.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Man, God is good man. Thank you God for waking
- 10:16Speaker 1: me up.
- 10:17Speaker 6: This morning started me on my way, as in the
- 10:20Speaker 6: words of old people, enclosed in my right mind, safe
- 10:24Speaker 6: at son, tucked under the wings of his goodness and mercy. Wow,
- 10:30Speaker 6: that's a good way start your day like that, everybody,
- 10:32Speaker 6: Steve Arvret Marner Show, Shelon Strawberry calling for real Mississippi
- 10:37Speaker 6: Monica Junior and the legend that is Nephew Tummy.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Well with regret, with deep regret. Here I go, Jr.
- 10:52Speaker 6: What's on your mind today?
- 10:57Speaker 1: You know what's on my mind?
- 11:00Speaker 7: He man?
- 11:00Speaker 1: Do you ever get tired of being the chosen one?
- 11:02Speaker 10: On?
- 11:02Speaker 1: Do you ever get to? Yeah? Yesterday? Yeah, that's all
- 11:13Speaker 1: I have to ask you. Do you ever get I'm
- 11:17Speaker 1: good then? Yeah?
- 11:19Speaker 6: See, man, listen to me. I was listening to Roy
- 11:23Speaker 6: Jones Junior, the Great Fighter. He was talking to this
- 11:27Speaker 6: young fighter, and this young fighter was talking about how
- 11:30Speaker 6: hard it is and and and he didn't want this.
- 11:35Speaker 6: He Roy Jones Jr. I'm paraphrasing it said, I know
- 11:38Speaker 6: you didn't want this, but this ain't for you to
- 11:41Speaker 6: wont It was put on you. You was chosen, this
- 11:44Speaker 6: is your walk. But he put this on your calls.
- 11:47Speaker 6: You can handle it, So just get to handle it.
- 11:50Speaker 6: You don't get to set this down. You don't get
- 11:53Speaker 6: to not be who you are. You don't get to
- 11:56Speaker 6: have what you have, provide what you provide, and and
- 12:00Speaker 6: and and and don't get all that come with it.
- 12:03Speaker 6: To whom much is given, much is required. Now let
- 12:07Speaker 6: me tell you something. You got to get on with
- 12:10Speaker 6: that process. You cannot take the crown off and set
- 12:14Speaker 6: it down.
- 12:14Speaker 1: It's not removable.
- 12:16Speaker 6: That's the cold thing about being what you call the
- 12:20Speaker 6: chosen one. And it's hard because even if you try
- 12:24Speaker 6: to take the crown down, even if you just try
- 12:26Speaker 6: to take some time off.
- 12:27Speaker 1: They find you.
- 12:28Speaker 6: You got phones, they got technology, they got our g
- 12:31Speaker 6: I saw on your story you over here. Hey man,
- 12:34Speaker 6: I need I have someone who needs something from me
- 12:39Speaker 6: every single day. And hit the crazy part, I have
- 12:45Speaker 6: someone who wants something from me every single day. Well,
- 12:48Speaker 6: I don't have no mo to give because I'm human.
- 12:52Speaker 6: But we are that one. You are that one in
- 12:55Speaker 6: your family, do you know. Look a lot of people
- 12:59Speaker 6: out here, the first one in their family to have
- 13:00Speaker 6: a position at the post office, supervisor position, first person
- 13:04Speaker 6: to go to college, first person to hold a real job,
- 13:08Speaker 6: have a supervisor capacity, first person with a real job
- 13:11Speaker 6: title other than labor. It's some people out there that's
- 13:14Speaker 6: the first first person ever in your family, ever saved
- 13:17Speaker 6: some money, ever, buy a new house, ever, get married, ever,
- 13:21Speaker 6: hold your family together. It's a lot of first out there.
- 13:24Speaker 6: And then guess what, since you're the only one in
- 13:27Speaker 6: that family, tag you it now. If you don't want
- 13:30Speaker 6: to be it, give all this stuff back, all right,
- 13:34Speaker 6: but you're it, all right, then.
- 13:36Speaker 1: You don't get to not be it.

- 14:26Speaker 9: brank back. What you got for its nep.
- 14:28Speaker 12: Earlier, I got it for you. I need a reference.
- 14:31Speaker 12: I need a reference. You know, this is a beautiful
- 14:34Speaker 12: lady right here. You data are in the past. I'm
- 14:37Speaker 12: starting the data now. I need a reference. You know
- 14:39Speaker 12: what what what's she like? What's she missing? What's she lacking?
- 14:42Speaker 12: What's the good qualities? Bad quality? You know, ain't no
- 14:45Speaker 12: sense to be going through what you went through. So
- 14:47Speaker 12: let me just give you a call and you give
- 14:48Speaker 12: me a reference on you know, what's good and what's
- 14:51Speaker 12: bad about it.
- 14:52Speaker 7: I think that's a good thing. We'll all be crank.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Okay, it is worse.
- 14:58Speaker 9: It is.
- 15:00Speaker 10: Uh hello, Yeah, I'm trying to I'm trying to reach
- 15:02Speaker 10: Scotty please. Yeah, yeah, what's up, hey, Scotty? How you doing?
- 15:06Speaker 13: Man?
- 15:06Speaker 10: I'm trying to actually get a a reference for for Monica. Monica.
- 15:12Speaker 10: You're talking about Monica, my ex wife. Yeah, I'm trying
- 15:15Speaker 10: to get a reference on her if possible. Oh okay,
- 15:18Speaker 10: So what's still applying for a jobs? He trying to
- 15:20Speaker 10: go to work?
- 15:21Speaker 1: Now?
- 15:21Speaker 10: Uh no, this reference is actually for like a relationship,
- 15:25Speaker 10: A relationship sets that whole Hold up on, boy, wait
- 15:28Speaker 10: a minute, a relationship with you. You're talking about a
- 15:30Speaker 10: job relationship. No, no, no, no. See what this here
- 15:34Speaker 10: is is that I'm I'm finna actually start dating Monica
- 15:37Speaker 10: on the regular, and I'm calling you for a reference
- 15:39Speaker 10: to whoa whoa whoa whoa ho boy? Hold up, wait Manue,
- 15:42Speaker 10: who did you say this is? And how you get
- 15:43Speaker 10: my name? Philip? Man my name, Philip? I got your
- 15:46Speaker 10: number the Monica phone. Check this. I feel you don't
- 15:49Speaker 10: need to call me with whatever you and Monica got
- 15:52Speaker 10: going on, y'all need to go on to deal with that.
- 15:54Speaker 10: No no, no, no, no, no, I I got that. Brother,
- 15:56Speaker 10: May y'all throw hear me out. What I'm trying to
- 15:58Speaker 10: say is is that I feel that if I get
- 16:00Speaker 10: a reference and figure out what kind of person she
- 16:03Speaker 10: is and get to get a you know, kind of
- 16:05Speaker 10: get a background so you can kind of tell me
- 16:06Speaker 10: what kind of person her good points or bad qualities,
- 16:09Speaker 10: the whole note, it might save me sometime from being
- 16:12Speaker 10: in a long relationship if I know what to look
- 16:14Speaker 10: for what's good on? We mad say say, oh boy,
- 16:17Speaker 10: oh boy, I know, I know I'm not listening to this.
- 16:21Speaker 10: I was mad twelve years. Ain't nobody give me no rest,
- 16:25Speaker 10: So don't call me asking for no like that. If
- 16:29Speaker 10: you got number for monkey, you and Monica need to
- 16:32Speaker 10: forget my Okay, but hold on, hold bro Like I say, man,
- 16:36Speaker 10: I'm just trying to figure out Hold up, I'm trying
- 16:38Speaker 10: to figure out the good qualities and bad quite like
- 16:40Speaker 10: you know, do she want to cook? You know? Is
- 16:43Speaker 10: she good in the bedroom? You know what I'm saying.
- 16:45Speaker 10: I'm trying to know. I'm trying to just know what
- 16:47Speaker 10: to look for. Dog, That's all. Man. I ain't trying
- 16:49Speaker 10: to come to you maid, but I just can't believe
- 16:53Speaker 10: calling enough about some I don't have a no more.
- 16:57Speaker 10: Only thing I have to deal with is my child.
- 17:00Speaker 10: You know what I'm saying. And you most definitely don't
- 17:02Speaker 10: need to be a robber. Now, say, dude, I got
- 17:05Speaker 10: to go Okay, okay, okay, but can you give me
- 17:07Speaker 10: a good reference owner? That's all I'm trying to get out. Man.
- 17:10Speaker 10: The reference is don't die number ever again. And when
- 17:15Speaker 10: I talked to Monica, me and her. But hey, you
- 17:18Speaker 10: ain't gonna have to worry about the relationship with Monica.
- 17:20Speaker 10: You know what I'm saying. Okay, Okay, okay, hold up, man,
- 17:23Speaker 10: let me go and break this to you. First of all,
- 17:25Speaker 10: me and Bonnica then dated for the last year, off

- 21:48Speaker 9: Have you heard about the new spicy sausage McMuffin with
- 21:51Speaker 9: egg It's got a creamy red pepper heat. I've got
- 21:55Speaker 9: to try that. I'm thinking it would hit just right
- 21:58Speaker 9: with my morning coffee. And there's nothing like that rush
- 22:01Speaker 9: of making it to McDonald's in time for breakfast. Swing
- 22:04Speaker 9: by and make your mourning at McDonald's morning. Bada Da
- 22:07Speaker 9: Da da at participating restaurants for a limited time only.
- 22:12Speaker 9: Coming up at the top of the hour and entertainment news,
- 22:15Speaker 9: President Trump says the NFL Washington commanders must change their
- 22:20Speaker 9: name back to the Redskins. Former President Barack Obama, I
- 22:25Speaker 9: mean this petty stuff. When is the pettiness going to stop?
- 22:29Speaker 9: Former President Barack Obama responds to President Trump's trees and
- 22:33Speaker 9: accusations and more. Celebrities are upset at CBS for canceling
- 22:37Speaker 9: The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. We'll talk about all
- 22:40Speaker 9: of these stories at the top of the hour, but
- 22:43Speaker 9: right now it is time to ask the CLO our
- 22:46Speaker 9: chief Love Officer, Steve hartin all right, This is from
- 22:52Speaker 9: Klenna in Rosemont. Klena writes, I had a consultation to
- 22:58Speaker 9: get my breast implants, to get breast in plants, and
- 23:01Speaker 9: my husband called and canceled the appointment. He thinks I
- 23:04Speaker 9: don't need the surgery, but this is my body and
- 23:07Speaker 9: I don't feel sexy for him like I used to.
- 23:09Speaker 9: It's my body, So should I do what I want
- 23:12Speaker 9: to do?
- 23:14Speaker 1: Well, Colinea, I'll tell you what I think. I think.
- 23:18Speaker 6: Horatio has second thoughts about all this. You get the
- 23:25Speaker 6: names like that right there, collinear Horati. But you know,
- 23:30Speaker 6: and I'll tell you what it is with him, It
- 23:32Speaker 6: has nothing to do with that. It's money. It's money, darling.
- 23:37Speaker 1: Really, it's it.
- 23:38Speaker 6: That's it's money with me.
- 23:41Speaker 11: And oh, you don't think he's concerned that something might go.
- 23:45Speaker 6: Wrong or he's gonna use that. It's money? What it's money?
- 23:56Speaker 1: So she wants and what now, Shirley, what type of
- 23:58Speaker 1: she getting a reduction?
- 24:00Speaker 11: No, she wants implant?
- 24:04Speaker 12: All yeah, yeah, that's money.
- 24:10Speaker 11: Okay, Well she didn't say that's all she said.
- 24:12Speaker 6: Just and it's your body, and you do get to
- 24:14Speaker 6: vote on your body. You have to say something. We
- 24:16Speaker 6: got nothing that that's a whole nother story about.
- 24:20Speaker 1: The wideness writes and all. That's down a whole nother path.
- 24:25Speaker 6: I'm one hundred percent behind whatever women want to do
- 24:27Speaker 6: with their body, however they want to do it. I
- 24:29Speaker 6: don't me and shouldn't even be voting on this, right.
- 24:31Speaker 6: It's the most ridiculous thing in that part America. Get
- 24:34Speaker 6: on my nerves. Next question sherey me.
- 24:37Speaker 9: Moving on to uh Fiera Fiera and Albini says, my
- 24:45Speaker 9: boyfriend's friend Sierra.
- 24:47Speaker 11: Her name is Sierra in Albany.
- 24:49Speaker 9: She says, my boyfriend's friend sent me a picture of
- 24:52Speaker 9: his manhood and I didn't say anything. I texted him
- 24:57Speaker 9: to see if he sent it to me by mistake.
- 25:00Speaker 9: He said it was a big mistake and he apologized.
- 25:03Speaker 9: I told my boyfriend and he said I handled it wrong.
- 25:06Speaker 9: I should have told him first. Why is he mad
- 25:09Speaker 9: at me and not at his friend who sent it?
- 25:13Speaker 1: Well, he ain't dating his friend.
- 25:17Speaker 6: He's dating you, so what And he was saying, and
- 25:23Speaker 6: he has a right to feel what he's feeling. But you,
- 25:27Speaker 6: you didn't do anything technically wrong. No, but let me
- 25:33Speaker 6: tell you where the guy's coming from. So what it
- 25:36Speaker 6: made it look like for him for a moment is
- 25:40Speaker 6: you was called and to find out if you sent
- 25:42Speaker 6: this to me on purpose? When the guy, the guy
- 25:46Speaker 6: sent it to you on purpose. Fellow, understand me. Get
- 25:51Speaker 6: that clip. Yeah, he sent it to your on purpose.
- 25:54Speaker 6: He was waiting on you to react. When your reaction
- 25:57Speaker 6: was that, then he went sideways because he missread you
- 26:02Speaker 6: and thought you might want to see this.
- 26:05Speaker 1: But he misread you. And when you called him, wait,
- 26:08Speaker 1: did you send me this on accident?
- 26:09Speaker 6: You you wouldn't say, oh, no, man, oh, that was accident.
- 26:13Speaker 1: No no, no, no, bro.
- 26:16Speaker 10: K.
- 26:16Speaker 6: So now your man is thinking you gave him an option,
- 26:23Speaker 6: a chance to react in a certain way, and saying
- 26:26Speaker 6: you should have bought it to me.
- 26:29Speaker 11: Oh okay.
- 26:30Speaker 9: So is the boyfriend still gonna check his friend though?
- 26:34Speaker 9: I mean, because all he's doing right now is checking
- 26:37Speaker 9: his girlfriend. Is he gonna say anything to his friend
- 26:40Speaker 9: about sending girlfriend the picture?
- 26:42Speaker 1: Oh lot, Oh that's going to be a whole nother conversation.
- 26:46Speaker 11: I mean, because so first she's just getting.
- 26:48Speaker 1: All the heat.
- 26:49Speaker 6: Well see she don't know because now see he got
- 26:53Speaker 6: to go to he got to go to He now
- 26:56Speaker 6: has to approach his friend a little bit different. Yeah,
- 27:00Speaker 6: because the girl then called the head of the time. Had
- 27:03Speaker 6: she just went to him and said, your man sent
- 27:05Speaker 6: me this, your friend sent me this. Then he can
- 27:07Speaker 6: go over there wild buffalo bill chest out everything. But
- 27:12Speaker 6: now since you called him first to ask you, you see,
- 27:17Speaker 6: now he's he got a statement prepared.
- 27:21Speaker 11: He see here.
- 27:27Speaker 6: He don't get to roll up on him straight necked
- 27:29Speaker 6: and busted. He got to roll up now with the
- 27:32Speaker 6: hey man, hey look. And but your girl was asking
- 27:37Speaker 6: me like like really cool. She wasn't even like really mad. See,
- 27:40Speaker 6: he got to hear that me. That's what the problem is.
- 27:44Speaker 6: That's why he's mad.
- 27:45Speaker 1: And why does she have his number.
- 27:48Speaker 11: Of her number?
- 27:51Speaker 7: You got to remember she can't unsee what she saw.
- 27:59Speaker 1: And you don't sin that's wrong.
- 28:02Speaker 12: Little people, right right right, you get that good angle
- 28:07Speaker 12: you're saying.
- 28:11Speaker 6: Downloaded, you're seeing the whole reel rack out there called Yeah,
- 28:18Speaker 6: you send the slab. You don't send You don't seen
- 28:21Speaker 6: the real bone. You send the slab. These ain't baby
- 28:25Speaker 6: bags called Did you mean?
- 28:33Speaker 1: Did you mean to seeing me?
- 28:34Speaker 7: This help? And it ain't delited, I can assure you
- 28:41Speaker 7: it ain't.
- 28:44Speaker 11: Is that why the boyfriends is really he tight?
- 28:47Speaker 6: And then and then that picture he already knows boy loaded.
- 28:51Speaker 6: You already know that they'd have been down to the gym.
- 28:54Speaker 6: He just came out the shower. Like when I was
- 28:55Speaker 6: in the ninth grade and Eric Green came out the shop.
- 28:58Speaker 6: We was all sitting there when it came out to
- 29:00Speaker 6: show what happened.
- 29:02Speaker 1: Now we all did in the ninth grade, we were.
- 29:06Speaker 11: Speechless.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Who daddy is dish? He talk about that show with
- 29:16Speaker 1: law all right?
- 29:19Speaker 9: Moving on to Black in Nashville, Black Rites, I was
- 29:23Speaker 9: vibing with this female until I found out that she
- 29:26Speaker 9: enjoys cigars more than I do, and she's well known
- 29:30Speaker 9: by the guys at the cigar bars that I go to.
- 29:33Speaker 9: I am uncomfortable with my girl being a star at
- 29:36Speaker 9: the cigar bar? Is this a real issue? Or am
- 29:39Speaker 9: I insecure?
- 29:42Speaker 6: Well, bro, you'd have made an issue. Yeah, you met
- 29:46Speaker 6: her at the cigar ball. She smoked cigar. All the
- 29:54Speaker 6: guys know she smoked cigar. You ain't the only one
- 29:57Speaker 6: to think she'd fine, dog, You ain't the only one
- 30:03Speaker 6: things she found. So are you insecure?
- 30:07Speaker 1: Yeah? Okay, very much.
- 30:10Speaker 12: So that's got insecurity wrote all over. I don't want
- 30:14Speaker 12: everybody knowing her. Well they do, they do.
- 30:18Speaker 9: Uh huh, All right, interesting clos Thank you. Coming up
- 30:26Speaker 9: at the top of the hour. We'll have some entertainment
- 30:29Speaker 9: news for you right after this. You're listening Steve Hardy
- 30:33Speaker 9: Morning Show. According to US News and a series of
- 30:40Speaker 9: posts on truth social President Trump took aim at the
- 30:44Speaker 9: NFL's Washington Commanders and Major League Baseball's Cleveland Guardians, both
- 30:50Speaker 9: franchises rebranded several years ago. We all remember this due
- 30:53Speaker 9: to concerns about the use of Native American names and imagery.
- 30:58Speaker 9: Trump said, quote, I made the restriction on them that
- 31:01Speaker 9: if they don't change the name back to the original
- 31:04Speaker 9: Washington Redskins and get rid of that ridiculous moniker Washington Commanders.
- 31:09Speaker 9: He also threatened to block a deal allowing them to
- 31:11Speaker 9: construct a new stadium in Washington, DC, and then Trump
- 31:15Speaker 9: posted Cleveland should do the same with the Cleveland Indians.
- 31:19Speaker 9: He said, make Indians great again. So, first of all,
- 31:24Speaker 9: God can he do that?
- 31:27Speaker 6: He meant his Indians inconsiderate? Oh my person, that you
- 31:35Speaker 6: could put in the White House? What you bothering? The
- 31:39Speaker 6: commanders and the guardians fault? Why is this even on
- 31:42Speaker 6: your radar? We got so much to do?
- 31:45Speaker 1: Isn't necessarily president of the United States?
- 31:49Speaker 6: Do you know the problem that so many Native Americans
- 31:52Speaker 6: had with being called Redskins? Did the reason they took
- 31:56Speaker 6: the Indians off that cabs because of that little, big
- 32:00Speaker 6: grinning face. All of that's been a problem. Got to
- 32:05Speaker 6: put it back on it. You just that's something.
- 32:08Speaker 1: Consider it.
- 32:09Speaker 6: Hey, why is he talking about it?
- 32:15Speaker 1: NFL owners and the commissioner.
- 32:18Speaker 11: Yeah, I can even do this as president.
- 32:22Speaker 9: Yeah, all right, moving on, it gets even more ridiculous. Okay,
- 32:26Speaker 9: it gets even more ridiculous, President Trump accused former President
- 32:33Speaker 9: Barack Obama of treason after Trump posted an AI generated
- 32:38Speaker 9: video of Obama getting arrested.
- 32:41Speaker 11: You guys see that, I saw, Yeah, it was horrible.
- 32:44Speaker 9: President Obama's statement quote, out of respect for the office of.
- 32:47Speaker 11: The presidency, all right, we haven't heard that in a while.
- 32:50Speaker 9: Out of the respect. Out of respect for the office
- 32:53Speaker 9: of the presidency. Our office does not normally dignify the
- 32:58Speaker 9: constant nonsense and misinformation flowing out of this White House
- 33:03Speaker 9: with a response. But these claims are outrageous enough to
- 33:07Speaker 9: merit on These bizarre allegations are ridiculous and a week
- 33:12Speaker 9: attempt at a distraction. Nothing in the document issued last
- 33:17Speaker 9: week undercuts the widely accepted conclusion that Russia worked to influence.
- 33:22Speaker 9: Russia did work we all know they did to influence
- 33:25Speaker 9: the twenty sixteen presidential election, but did not successfully manipulate
- 33:30Speaker 9: any votes. These findings were a form were affirmed in
- 33:34Speaker 9: twenty twenty report by the bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee, led
- 33:39Speaker 9: by then Chairman Marco Rubio, Secretary of State.
- 33:44Speaker 8: Now yeah, yeah, yeah, President Trump Chairman Mark uh huh.
- 33:49Speaker 9: Song, I mean yeah, leave Obama alone and Biden and
- 33:55Speaker 9: all the presidents that came before.
- 33:56Speaker 11: You just do your.
- 33:57Speaker 7: Job being a president.
- 34:02Speaker 8: President Obama lives rent free, Yeah, but.
- 34:08Speaker 6: You know, just just just be presidential. It's very difficult
- 34:12Speaker 6: for him to do that. And I keep telling you all,
- 34:15Speaker 6: you all are expecting a key, a man who was
- 34:18Speaker 6: born into money to understand those who have never had money.
- 34:25Speaker 6: That's not going to happen. You have a man in
- 34:28Speaker 6: office who is in everybody's business because now he is
- 34:33Speaker 6: abusing the office of the president to now share his
- 34:37Speaker 6: opinion on true social and anywhere else on any subject
- 34:41Speaker 6: he chooses, no matter the level of significance or importance.
- 34:47Speaker 6: And we have to sit here while we're dealing with
- 34:51Speaker 6: what could happen to medicaid, What has happened to all
- 34:55Speaker 6: these families jobs due to DOGE cuts, what's going to
- 34:59Speaker 6: happen after the mere term elections. How we're going to
- 35:03Speaker 6: make these terrorist works for all of us as we
- 35:06Speaker 6: grapple with this, and you'll go back to being the
- 35:10Speaker 6: Indians and the redskin.
- 35:13Speaker 9: Really though, really, And then you heard what he said
- 35:18Speaker 9: about Stephen Colbert and the Late Show getting canceled. He
- 35:22Speaker 9: said he posted this untruth social I absolutely love that
- 35:26Speaker 9: Colbert got fired.
- 35:28Speaker 11: His talent was even less than his ratings.
- 35:31Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 35:33Speaker 11: So Colbert clapped back.
- 35:36Speaker 9: Though this past Monday, he responded in his opening monologue
- 35:41Speaker 9: and said, in part, with all due respect, sir, go
- 35:46Speaker 9: f yourself.
- 35:48Speaker 11: The F bomb was bleeped out. It was bleeped out.
- 35:51Speaker 9: The audience started chanting Steven, Steven, steven.
- 35:56Speaker 6: But he says now, he says, Jimmy Kimmel and falling.
- 36:01Speaker 6: You know, if you say anything against him, he comes
- 36:06Speaker 6: for you.
- 36:07Speaker 1: This is not.
- 36:11Speaker 6: What we need there, you know. Look, man, if he
- 36:14Speaker 6: would just focus on the things he's done that's of
- 36:17Speaker 6: value while in the office.
- 36:20Speaker 1: Can I ask you a question? See, do you think
- 36:22Speaker 1: this is all a distraction?
- 36:24Speaker 6: Of course it is. Let me explain something to you.
- 36:28Speaker 6: He trying to get this Epstein thing off the shelf.
- 36:31Speaker 6: But a lot of his base ain't letting me go.
- 36:33Speaker 6: Even Marjorie Taylor Green ain't letting it go. It's a
- 36:37Speaker 6: lot of people ain't.
- 36:37Speaker 1: Let very loyal to him that she is not letting
- 36:40Speaker 1: it go.
- 36:40Speaker 6: Because there are some people who draw the line at
- 36:44Speaker 6: messing over children. Now, it ain't all of them up there.
- 36:49Speaker 6: A lot of them will go along with it to
- 36:51Speaker 6: maintain their power position in money. I told y'all from
- 36:53Speaker 6: the beginning, this is power position in money. They're not
- 36:57Speaker 6: going to do that. But when you start doing stuff
- 37:00Speaker 6: to keys, come on, man.
- 37:03Speaker 1: Yeah, this is sick. Cross the line, Julian, Can I
- 37:06Speaker 1: ask you a question? Have you want to say the
- 37:08Speaker 1: F word? This morning? Already back here? Have you wanted
- 37:11Speaker 1: to say it? Yeah?

- 50:14Speaker 13: my thing is, I've already told you that three times.
- 50:16Speaker 13: I don't know where you're really going with this. You know,
- 50:19Speaker 13: I'm gonna I'm gonna talk to her and get the

- 50:39Speaker 12: here and we have no issues and no problems.
- 50:41Speaker 13: So what whether you're not talking to my daughter, you're
- 50:44Speaker 13: talking to me. I'm a I'm a husband, I'm a father.
- 50:47Speaker 13: I'm telling you what I tell you. I got to handle.

- 50:54Speaker 12: You understand that I have to handle school.
- 50:56Speaker 13: I will drop my door off myself.
- 50:58Speaker 7: Okay, I understand that.
- 50:59Speaker 13: What No, I mean, do I need to come up
- 51:01Speaker 13: there and talk to you?
- 51:02Speaker 7: No, I need your wife to come talk to me.
- 51:03Speaker 7: I need to see what she be winning.
- 51:05Speaker 13: Don't need to talk to my wife. Player, do you
- 51:07Speaker 13: have a wife?
- 51:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I have a wife.
- 51:09Speaker 13: Come to my office.
- 51:10Speaker 7: But what what what do you?
- 51:11Speaker 1: What do you? What are you? What are you talking about?
- 51:13Speaker 10: No?
- 51:13Speaker 13: What are you talking about that? My wife needs to
- 51:15Speaker 13: come and and and so you can inspect her outfit.
- 51:18Speaker 13: I'm not playing that game, player, I'm not We're not
- 51:20Speaker 13: doing that.
- 51:21Speaker 1: Okay. I need to see what your wife be wearing
- 51:23Speaker 1: when she's dropping these kids.
- 51:24Speaker 13: Get me yourself one, I'll send you a picture.
- 51:27Speaker 1: Man. And man, I think we must have gone down
- 51:29Speaker 1: the wrong street, which is co Yeah, No.
- 51:31Speaker 13: We definitely down the wrong boulevard on this one.
- 51:33Speaker 10: Player.
- 51:33Speaker 13: Okay, let me let me just make it very clear
- 51:35Speaker 13: to you. My wife, you're seeing that in the office
- 51:38Speaker 13: and all that. Maybe we can come up there tomorrow
- 51:40Speaker 13: is gonna be me and her. No, he's not coming
- 51:42Speaker 13: up to the principal's office. We don't need to do
- 51:44Speaker 13: it all.
- 51:44Speaker 1: But we don't have a problem with you. We just
- 51:46Speaker 1: need her.
- 51:47Speaker 7: I just need to see you.
- 51:49Speaker 13: You're gonna have a problem with me if we keep
- 51:51Speaker 13: going down this road right now, okay.
- 51:52Speaker 12: So, so it's okay for her to have her butt
- 51:55Speaker 12: cheeks out when she dropped the kids off, but as
- 51:57Speaker 12: soon as I want to have her come out of
- 51:59Speaker 12: office for a meeting about this situation right.
- 52:01Speaker 13: Now, right now. You you said you're claiming her butt

- 52:09Speaker 12: Okay, No, it was out of pocket where she pulled
- 52:11Speaker 12: up and got out of the car and her butt
- 52:12Speaker 12: was out of pocket.
- 52:13Speaker 1: That's when it was out of pocket.
- 52:15Speaker 12: So so what you can't do, Nate, is be mad
- 52:17Speaker 12: at me by what your wife then put on and
- 52:18Speaker 12: walk up into the school.
- 52:20Speaker 13: Look man like I said, I'm gonna do what I
- 52:22Speaker 13: gotta do on this on this end, your end is
- 52:25Speaker 13: to handle what's going on in your school.
- 52:27Speaker 7: Well, evidently you're not handling that in over there.
- 52:30Speaker 12: So that's why I'm stepping up as the principal of
- 52:32Speaker 12: the school saying I need to have a meeting, a
- 52:34Speaker 12: private meeting with your wife, so w and her and
- 52:37Speaker 12: I can talk about what she's wearing.
- 52:39Speaker 13: Look, man, I done told you several times her coming
- 52:42Speaker 13: up there on her own is not gonna happen. So

- 56:43Speaker 7: What's the hesitation? Look them up and hold on tight.
- 56:46Speaker 7: Let's get it back here. It is one and only
- 56:48Speaker 7: Strawberry letter.
- 56:50Speaker 11: How much as much as you hesitate subject.
- 56:54Speaker 9: My husband leaves his phone at home. You want to
- 56:57Speaker 9: get to this one, don't you, Nephew. I'm not sure
- 57:00Speaker 9: if it's about you or not.
- 57:01Speaker 11: I'm not sure.
- 57:03Speaker 9: Dear Stephen Shirley, I never expected my husband to cheat
- 57:06Speaker 9: on me. He swears he hasn't done anything, but the
- 57:09Speaker 9: proof says that he is lying. He always leaves his
- 57:12Speaker 9: phone at home because he's never on the phone, and
- 57:15Speaker 9: he's not on social media. He's forgetful. So I get
- 57:19Speaker 9: annoyed when I try to call him and his phone
- 57:21Speaker 9: is stuck down in the couch or way back on
- 57:23Speaker 9: the bedroom dresser. I think he was doing that on
- 57:26Speaker 9: purpose to throw me off. And here's why my husband's
- 57:29Speaker 9: brother called the house yesterday to talk to my husband.
- 57:32Speaker 9: He said he had just talked to him, and he
- 57:34Speaker 9: assumed he was home.
- 57:36Speaker 11: Because the number was blocked.
- 57:39Speaker 9: My husband was supposed to be at a lounge with
- 57:41Speaker 9: his cousin, so I told his brother that's where he was.
- 57:45Speaker 9: His brother said, my husband was whispering on the phone,
- 57:48Speaker 9: so he is worried about him. I told him that
- 57:51Speaker 9: my husband's phone was at the house with me, and
- 57:54Speaker 9: then his brother got off the phone quickly. When my
- 57:58Speaker 9: husband came home, he was sweat and disheveled. I told
- 58:02Speaker 9: him that his brother called, and he looked confused. I
- 58:05Speaker 9: threw his phone at him and yelled and screamed about
- 58:08Speaker 9: him cheating on me, and he said, it's not what
- 58:11Speaker 9: I think. His brother won't answer my calls, and my
- 58:15Speaker 9: husband told me to stop calling his brother.
- 58:17Speaker 11: What is going on?
- 58:19Speaker 9: Does my husband leave his phone at home to throw
- 58:22Speaker 9: me off because he has another phone for his side chick?
- 58:26Speaker 9: Please advise well, I definitely think he has another phone.
- 58:30Speaker 9: I mean, it's hard to think that grown people go
- 58:33Speaker 9: out of the house without their phone these days. Now
- 58:36Speaker 9: is this other phone for a side chick? I don't know,
- 58:39Speaker 9: but I wouldn't rule it out either, because it looks
- 58:42Speaker 9: very suspicious. In any event, something is going on because
- 58:47Speaker 9: why won't his brother answer your calls? Now, let me guess,
- 58:51Speaker 9: because he doesn't want you asking him any questions about
- 58:54Speaker 9: your husband or anything. This all makes it look like
- 58:57Speaker 9: your brother in law is guilty as well. Well, the
- 59:00Speaker 9: brother called you first.
- 59:02Speaker 11: What was he calling you for?
- 59:03Speaker 9: To find out about why your husband was whispering and
- 59:06Speaker 9: all that.
- 59:07Speaker 11: There's only two.
- 59:07Speaker 9: Reasons I think that a man would need a second phone.
- 59:12Speaker 9: You know, he'll have one for work or business and
- 59:15Speaker 9: the other one to.
- 59:16Speaker 11: Keep up with his sidepiece.
- 59:18Speaker 9: Okay, I think that's why he doesn't care about leaving
- 59:21Speaker 9: the phone at home, well that particular phone anyway.
- 59:24Speaker 11: Yeah, it's to throw you off.
- 59:26Speaker 9: Because the important one is always with him, and your
- 59:30Speaker 9: husband owes you an explanation.
- 59:32Speaker 11: Please do not let this.
- 59:34Speaker 1: Go, Steve, Oh, I don't know.
- 59:36Speaker 11: I already know.
- 59:38Speaker 1: Boy, what letter did you read?
- 59:41Speaker 11: You know which one?
- 59:42Speaker 9: I read?
- 59:42Speaker 10: You?
- 59:43Speaker 1: This home recked advice? You didn't gave.
- 59:51Speaker 10: Out?
- 59:51Speaker 6: This ain't no lie, These are facts because you're not listening. Linda,
- 1:00:00Speaker 6: Dear Stephen Shirley, I never expected my.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: Husband to cheat on me.
- 1:00:06Speaker 6: He swears he ain't done nothing, but the proof says
- 1:00:09Speaker 6: he's lying. Keyword proof. The proof says he's lying. Well,
- 1:00:16Speaker 6: let's go find out what proof she had is he
- 1:00:20Speaker 6: always leaves his phone at home because he's never on
- 1:00:24Speaker 6: the phone, and he's not on social media.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: He's forgetful.
- 1:00:28Speaker 6: So I get annoyed when I try to call him
- 1:00:30Speaker 6: and his phone and stuff down in the couch or
- 1:00:32Speaker 6: way back on the bedroom dresser. Now, let me tell
- 1:00:35Speaker 6: you something right here, theseus full grown people right here,
- 1:00:40Speaker 6: full blown grown. Ain't no young person leaving their phone
- 1:00:44Speaker 6: at home. Theseus old people right here. How old, I
- 1:00:49Speaker 6: don't know, but young people don't go nowhere without their phone.
- 1:00:54Speaker 6: It's the GPS, it's uber eats, it's Uber, it's left,
- 1:01:00Speaker 6: it's for debates.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: And arguments Google. So these are some grown people here.
- 1:01:07Speaker 15: Uh.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: I think he was doing that on purpose to throw
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: me off. And here is why.
- 1:01:14Speaker 6: Okay, now we should be getting into the proof. My
- 1:01:17Speaker 6: husband's brother called the house yesterday to talk to my husband. Now, Sureley,
- 1:01:24Speaker 6: you said he called her first, So why is he
- 1:01:29Speaker 6: not answering the phone?
- 1:01:31Speaker 10: Now?
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: He didn't call her, He called the house, which is.
- 1:01:39Speaker 6: Evidenced that these as old people again, cause they got
- 1:01:44Speaker 6: a house for the landline.
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: He called the house. He didn't call hersell he called
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: the house.
- 1:01:55Speaker 6: See how I'm working through this thing with you. That's
- 1:01:57Speaker 6: why when you have a proof on, people know what
- 1:02:00Speaker 6: you're talking about. My husband brother called the house yesterday
- 1:02:03Speaker 6: to talk to my brother. He said he had just
- 1:02:06Speaker 6: talked to him, and he assumed he was home because
- 1:02:10Speaker 6: the number was blocked. That means when you called from
- 1:02:16Speaker 6: the house phone that number didn't show up. It showed
- 1:02:20Speaker 6: up as blocked. My husband was supposed to be at
- 1:02:24Speaker 6: a lounge with his cousins, so I told his brother
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: that's where it was. His brother said, my husband was
- 1:02:30Speaker 6: whispering on the phone, so he's worried about him.
- 1:02:35Speaker 9: You missed something. That reason another reason there. You think
- 1:02:40Speaker 9: they're older lounge lounge.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: With his I didn't miss that.
- 1:02:44Speaker 11: Cousin who go to the lounge lounge?
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: Yeah, lounge and taverns. I told him. Anyway, when I
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: come back. This is so so not proof of keeping.
- 1:03:03Speaker 9: Wait hang on, we'll have part two of Steve's response
- 1:03:06Speaker 9: coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:03:08Speaker 11: Today's Strawberry Letter, subject my husband leaves his phone at home.
- 1:03:12Speaker 9: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening,
- 1:03:15Speaker 9: Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:22Speaker 6: Get into the Hyundai Getaway Sales event and get away
- 1:03:26Speaker 6: with the deal so right, it almost feels wrong. Right now,
- 1:03:30Speaker 6: Get huge savings on our popular models, including our venture
- 1:03:33Speaker 6: ready SUV's like the Hondai Santa Fe, or go all
- 1:03:38Speaker 6: electric with America's most awarded EV lineup like the Ionic
- 1:03:42Speaker 6: five or Ionic six.
- 1:03:44Speaker 12: Get down to your local Hondai dealer and get away
- 1:03:46Speaker 12: with a great deal only during the Hondai Getaway Sale event.
- 1:03:49Speaker 12: Visit HYUNDAIUSA dot com for details.
- 1:03:52Speaker 9: All right, come on, Steve, Let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:55Speaker 9: The subject is my husband leaves his phone at home, and.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: That's all it is. Now.
- 1:04:02Speaker 6: I know these are older people, because don't know young
- 1:04:04Speaker 6: person leave their phone at home. Nobody.
- 1:04:07Speaker 12: Nobody does that, Nobody even I won't leave a house
- 1:04:12Speaker 12: without my phone.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: I turned around.
- 1:04:15Speaker 6: We gotta go back get his phone because the reason
- 1:04:18Speaker 6: we do that because Margorie don't answer her phone. So
- 1:04:22Speaker 6: any emergency, the kids know they got to call dad
- 1:04:24Speaker 6: because Dad got his phone. Anyway, He swears he ain't
- 1:04:28Speaker 6: done anything, but the proof says he's lying. He always
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: leaves his phone at home on the couch stuck out
- 1:04:33Speaker 6: in the couch or back on the dresser. She gets
- 1:04:35Speaker 6: frustrated with this because he's forgetful, and she gets annoy
- 1:04:40Speaker 6: it when she try to reach him and he ain't
- 1:04:42Speaker 6: got no call. But he ain't on his phone a lot,
- 1:04:44Speaker 6: and he don't do social media, so he don't even
- 1:04:46Speaker 6: use his phone. These as old people. But I think
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: she now thinks that he's doing that on purpose to
- 1:04:53Speaker 6: throw me off. My husband's brother called the house yesterday
- 1:04:58Speaker 6: to talk to my husband, that he had talked to
- 1:05:01Speaker 6: him and assumed he was home because the number was blocked.
- 1:05:04Speaker 6: Ain't a whole lot of people got home phones no more.
- 1:05:07Speaker 6: It just ain't a lot no more. Once again, these
- 1:05:11Speaker 6: old people.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: Now.
- 1:05:14Speaker 6: Shirley said in her letter earlier that he called her first,
- 1:05:19Speaker 6: but now the brother won't call her back. That's not true, Shirley.
- 1:05:24Speaker 6: He called the house the landline at the house, and
- 1:05:30Speaker 6: that's where he thought his brother was, and he was
- 1:05:32Speaker 6: worried about his brother because his brother would talk to him,
- 1:05:35Speaker 6: and he assumed he was home because the line was blocked,
- 1:05:38Speaker 6: and he was worried about his brother because his brother
- 1:05:40Speaker 6: was whispery. Now, she said that can't be, because my
- 1:05:44Speaker 6: husband was supposed to be at a lounge with his cousins.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: Some more proof that theseus old people.
- 1:05:50Speaker 11: Lounge tavern, land line.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: Land line, call the house, leave his phone at home.
- 1:06:01Speaker 6: I told him that my husband's phone was at the
- 1:06:03Speaker 6: house with me, and then his brother got off the
- 1:06:05Speaker 6: phone quickly. When my husband came home, he was sweaty
- 1:06:09Speaker 6: and dishevel. That's because he'd been down at the lounge.
- 1:06:15Speaker 6: Most lounges air conditioning is always broke. That's why they lounge.
- 1:06:20Speaker 6: See you going to club club air condition to work
- 1:06:23Speaker 6: a lounge air conditioning hardy ever one and he looked
- 1:06:28Speaker 6: dishevel because he was down there with his cousin. I
- 1:06:32Speaker 6: told him that his brother called, and he looked confused.
- 1:06:35Speaker 6: I threw his phone at him and yelled and screamed
- 1:06:37Speaker 6: about him cheating on me, And he said, it's not
- 1:06:39Speaker 6: what I think. Where did you get throwing the phone
- 1:06:42Speaker 6: at the man telling him he was cheating on you?
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: Where did you get this? From? Sry? His brother won't
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: ask some my calls, and my husband told me to
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: stop calling his brother. Quit calling my brother now, Shirley said,
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: but the brother.
- 1:06:59Speaker 6: Called her first. Know the brother called the house. Y'all
- 1:07:04Speaker 6: ain't got that type of relationship. He not finna call
- 1:07:08Speaker 6: you back to He gonna let his brother straighten all
- 1:07:10Speaker 6: this out and see what direction the brother is gonna take.
- 1:07:15Speaker 6: What's going on? Does my husband leave his phone at
- 1:07:18Speaker 6: home to throw me off because he has another phone
- 1:07:21Speaker 6: for his side?
- 1:07:21Speaker 12: Chick?
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: What other phone for the side chick?
- 1:07:26Speaker 6: You ain't seen no other phone, Lady. You're jumping to conclusions.
- 1:07:33Speaker 6: Stop listening to Surety right, Sureley gonna break up your home.
- 1:07:39Speaker 6: You ain't gonna hand nobody. You in here throwing your
- 1:07:44Speaker 6: phone at your man accusing him of cheating. You ain't
- 1:07:47Speaker 6: heard him on the phone with no woman. You don't
- 1:07:50Speaker 6: have no text messages, you ain't got no pictures. The
- 1:07:54Speaker 6: man leave his phone at home. You ain't got nothing,
- 1:07:58Speaker 6: no email, he ain't on tender.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: So why is he cheating on you?
- 1:08:07Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: Why lord?
- 1:08:09Speaker 7: Good question? Good question?
- 1:08:11Speaker 9: Why was he whispering? Why won't his brother, his brother
- 1:08:15Speaker 9: answer her calls?
- 1:08:16Speaker 10: Now?
- 1:08:17Speaker 9: Why was the husband sweaty and disheveled when he came
- 1:08:20Speaker 9: home from the lounge.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: They was at the lounge, Charly, When.
- 1:08:23Speaker 11: You're at a lounge, you're chilling, You're you're not up dancing, getting.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: Lounge, don't have to. Lounges don't have good air conditioning.
- 1:08:34Speaker 11: So you're just in there just sweating.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: Hot. No, girl, no, you don't.
- 1:08:44Speaker 10: No, no, no, you know what.
- 1:08:49Speaker 6: Yeah, sometimes you just go in and out. But I understand,
- 1:08:53Speaker 6: I understand every man is cheating, right, No, I didn't
- 1:08:58Speaker 6: say that.
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: Your letters. You always want the woman to.
- 1:09:04Speaker 11: Leave only if it calls for it. If it calls where.
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: Just show me where in this letter does it say
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: this man is cheating. Just show it's not gonna say it. Okay,
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: Well she shows me.
- 1:09:19Speaker 11: She thinks he has two phones, all right.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: Okay, she's not only seeing one.
- 1:09:24Speaker 9: It's suspicious she had. She does have an intuition. The
- 1:09:27Speaker 9: brother called. He got off the phone quickly. Now he's
- 1:09:30Speaker 9: not answering any of her brother.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: You ain't my wife, I ain't got this conversation.
- 1:09:35Speaker 11: So why is he calling in the first place, looking
- 1:09:38Speaker 11: for her brother?
- 1:09:40Speaker 9: Looking for his brother when his brother told him he
- 1:09:42Speaker 9: was gonna be someplace and he wasn't nowhere.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: No, no, no, he didn't know where the brother was.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: That's why he called the house.
- 1:09:48Speaker 11: The brother waits cheating bottom line.

- 1:11:04Speaker 16: But they put out a list the top ten quarterbacks
- 1:11:07Speaker 16: for twenty twenty five.
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: I don't like the list, and you're gonna see why.
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: Who y'all thinking? Number ten? Russell Mussels. No, Baker Mayfield, Wow,
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: it's Baker Mayfield. Number ten? Why number ten? Baker Mayfield?
- 1:11:24Speaker 11: It just get worse.
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: You know who number nine is? Super Bowl winning quarterback
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: Jaalen Hurts. Why is he number nine?
- 1:11:30Speaker 5: He won the whole thing?
- 1:11:33Speaker 7: Jalen Hurt.
- 1:11:34Speaker 6: They've been hating him for a couple of days, which
- 1:11:36Speaker 6: I don't even understand this du You.
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: Know who's before the dude? Number eight before Jailen Hurts?
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: Jared Golf?
- 1:11:43Speaker 12: Really?
- 1:11:44Speaker 5: Really?
- 1:11:45Speaker 11: This your mad voice?
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: Yes, I'm mad? Really pitched.
- 1:11:53Speaker 12: For a guy?
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: Really?
- 1:11:54Speaker 5: You know, I don't know who they.
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: Justin Herbert? We beat them in the playoff time?
- 1:12:00Speaker 3: Doesn't Herbert?
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: Number seven?
- 1:12:01Speaker 7: Really?
- 1:12:02Speaker 6: Justin?
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: What tame he played for the Chargers? Chargers? Just okay?
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: Then we go to number see Matthew Stafford. I ain't
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: heard C. J. Shroud yet. I'm waiting. I'm waiting, Okay,
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: I'm waiting. Here we go. You know what, Lamar Jackson
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: at number four? Lamar Jackson number four, nah before Lamar
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: Joe Burrow didn't make the playoffs. Joe Burrow. Now he
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: do be dressing though I can't lie. He do be dressed.
- 1:12:29Speaker 12: School.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: He black in some kind of way. He black, just
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: the way he moved. He black.
- 1:12:39Speaker 16: Then number two is Josh Allen, Josh alanall and once
- 1:12:45Speaker 16: again number one. Everybody just said Patrick Mahon, don't don't
- 1:12:50Speaker 16: see my quarterback.
- 1:12:52Speaker 6: Arm about Josh I mean about Patrick Mahome. He wins
- 1:12:59Speaker 6: and he plays. I think it's a travesty that Jalen
- 1:13:03Speaker 6: Hurt is number nine because this young man right here.
- 1:13:08Speaker 6: You know, they were talking about him on Sports Center
- 1:13:10Speaker 6: the other day and Cam Newton kind of started to argument.
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: That he's not asked to win the games.
- 1:13:17Speaker 6: He's just asked not to lose the game, and he
- 1:13:19Speaker 6: wins because he has superior talent around him. Well, football
- 1:13:25Speaker 6: is the ultimate team sport, and that ain't his fault
- 1:13:29Speaker 6: because he got a great running back and great receiver.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: Jalen Hurt get the job done. But Jalen Hurt win.
- 1:13:36Speaker 6: It's a whole lot of people that's got good running
- 1:13:38Speaker 6: backs and good receivers and they ain't winning no Super Bowl.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: So miss me.
- 1:13:45Speaker 6: With all that Josh Allen had, all that, he ain't
- 1:13:47Speaker 6: winn the Super Bowl, so y'all can miss me with that.
- 1:13:50Speaker 6: Jalen Hurts is in the top three four best quarterbacks
- 1:13:54Speaker 6: in the game right now.
- 1:13:56Speaker 9: Yes, a man on social media needs some advice, Steve,
- 1:14:02Speaker 9: He says, am I being used.
- 1:14:04Speaker 11: We'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:14:06Speaker 9: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:14:13Speaker 9: this is from EJ on Steve HARVFM. EJ says, I've
- 1:14:17Speaker 9: never been I was never the cool kid. But now
- 1:14:20Speaker 9: that I've done well for myself financially, I've become pretty popular.
- 1:14:24Speaker 9: I don't mind treating my friends now and then, but
- 1:14:27Speaker 9: it's starting to feel like I'm only invited because I
- 1:14:29Speaker 9: pick up the check. I still want to be generous,
- 1:14:32Speaker 9: just not taken for granted. How do you know if
- 1:14:35Speaker 9: people like you for you or just for the perks
- 1:14:38Speaker 9: you bring?
- 1:14:39Speaker 12: Well, if they didn't like you before, why do they
- 1:14:42Speaker 12: like you all of a sudden? That's an easy one,
- 1:14:47Speaker 12: you know, if they didn't like you before, now all
- 1:14:51Speaker 12: of a sudden they like you.
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: You do the math. What's the change you got money now?
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: He said? That's all.
- 1:14:58Speaker 6: It ain't hard to figure out. You really got to
- 1:15:01Speaker 6: figure it out yourself. Yeah, Now what you need is
- 1:15:05Speaker 6: a new set of friends.
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: That's all.
- 1:15:08Speaker 6: Everybody come with you can't go with you, and you
- 1:15:11Speaker 6: keep going down there picking up the check and all that.
- 1:15:13Speaker 6: You don't have to do that, but you're doing that
- 1:15:17Speaker 6: because it makes you feel good to a degree too.
- 1:15:20Speaker 6: But now they taken advantage of it, and that's where
- 1:15:22Speaker 6: you gotta be careful.
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: Okay. So yeah, it's because you got money. Now you
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: do the math.
- 1:15:31Speaker 9: Okay, all right, great advice. We have time for another one.
- 1:15:35Speaker 9: This is from Devon and Dewan on Steve HARVFM. Dewan says,
- 1:15:39Speaker 9: what should have been a great road trip over the
- 1:15:41Speaker 9: weekend with my girlfriend and her son has turned out
- 1:15:45Speaker 9: to be just that, a trip. I can't seem to
- 1:15:48Speaker 9: get on the right side of things. I rented a
- 1:15:51Speaker 9: room in your car and took three of us to
- 1:15:53Speaker 9: an airbnb about six hours away. I thought it was cool,
- 1:15:57Speaker 9: but unbeknownst to me, there was some man of mind
- 1:16:00Speaker 9: because I wouldn't let her son drive the car. It
- 1:16:03Speaker 9: wasn't personal. I was the only one signed on to
- 1:16:06Speaker 9: the rental car and he's still under twenty five, so
- 1:16:09Speaker 9: he wouldn't have been allowed to drive it. I'm sure,
- 1:16:12Speaker 9: he's more than capable, but I didn't want the liability
- 1:16:15Speaker 9: in case something did happen while he was behind the wheel.
- 1:16:19Speaker 9: My girlfriend now thinks that I have quote something against
- 1:16:22Speaker 9: her son, and neither of them are talking to me.
- 1:16:26Speaker 9: Is there anything other than time I can get I
- 1:16:29Speaker 9: can do to get past this.
- 1:16:32Speaker 6: Now, all you gotta do is tell him what you
- 1:16:34Speaker 6: just told us. Yeah, Now, what stupid person don't understand that?
- 1:16:40Speaker 6: And that's really real?
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: About that under twenty five with the rental car? Really real?
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: That's really real. And if a person don't understand that, boto.
- 1:16:52Speaker 11: He's twenty something on a trip with his mom and
- 1:16:56Speaker 11: what him?
- 1:16:58Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 1:17:01Speaker 7: What is he going with them?
- 1:17:02Speaker 10: For get that?
- 1:17:04Speaker 9: I don't get that at all? Yeah, and he wants
- 1:17:10Speaker 9: to drive the car. He sounds like a brat.
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: Yeah, and they don't understand that liability and all that. Yeah,
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: nobody pays for this.
- 1:17:21Speaker 7: Car like that?
- 1:17:23Speaker 10: Right?
- 1:17:23Speaker 11: What would you have done?
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: Steve? But I'm not You ain't drive?
- 1:17:30Speaker 13: Well?
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: What is.
- 1:17:33Speaker 11: This guy is broiling bad? He's feelings.
- 1:17:36Speaker 6: You ain't driving, you ain't about to a car, you
- 1:17:38Speaker 6: ain't about, you ain't rid the car, you ain't got
- 1:17:40Speaker 6: an amb and be sending the car.
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: You're twenty years old. Why we can Why are we
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: taking him anyway?
- 1:17:46Speaker 11: That's my question, that's my question.
- 1:17:49Speaker 7: Why his feelings?
- 1:17:51Speaker 11: Yeah, at he's trying.
- 1:17:53Speaker 9: This guy is trying to do something nice for his
- 1:17:55Speaker 9: girl and her son. And then you know she's saying
- 1:17:58Speaker 9: now he had something against her. So I mean they're
- 1:18:02Speaker 9: in an airbnb, you know, and now they're mad at him.
- 1:18:07Speaker 9: They're mad at the guy who rented the car and everything.
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: Ain't neither one of them talking to him.
- 1:18:11Speaker 11: That's crazy.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: See but lady, listen to me.
- 1:18:16Speaker 6: You're doing this because you're coming there in defense of
- 1:18:19Speaker 6: your son. You don't see the joy in a man
- 1:18:23Speaker 6: being a provider. You don't see the upside of the
- 1:18:26Speaker 6: man being a protector and just doing handling at all himself.
- 1:18:30Speaker 6: You don't see that because no, you want to cozy
- 1:18:34Speaker 6: up to this little pump.
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: Oi you got. Yeah, yeah, Well that's show car shut
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: shut out it.
- 1:18:49Speaker 7: All right?
- 1:18:50Speaker 11: Thanks guys.
- 1:18:50Speaker 9: More of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at
- 1:18:53Speaker 9: twenty minutes after.
- 1:18:54Speaker 11: Right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:19:01Speaker 11: Everybody knows how.
- 1:19:02Speaker 10: Hot it is.
- 1:19:03Speaker 11: It's a real sport. You're out there this summer.
- 1:19:06Speaker 9: This week, and intense heat dome has expanded across the
- 1:19:09Speaker 9: Midwest and South, putting more than one hundred million Americans
- 1:19:13Speaker 9: under extreme heat conditions. Forecasters say daily highs will hit
- 1:19:18Speaker 9: or exceed one hundred degrees in many areas, and the
- 1:19:21Speaker 9: National Weather Service has already issued heat warnings and advisories
- 1:19:25Speaker 9: for over seventy million people. Officials urge everyone to stay hydrated,
- 1:19:31Speaker 9: limit your outdoor activity, and check on vulnerable neighbors.
- 1:19:35Speaker 11: All right, that's what they advise.
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: It is hot, good, very high.
- 1:19:39Speaker 11: It is so Steve, have you been doing this?
- 1:19:42Speaker 9: Keep staying hydrated, limiting your outdoor activity, and checking on
- 1:19:45Speaker 9: your neighbors.
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, I stay hydrated.
- 1:19:49Speaker 6: When I was you know, last week when I went
- 1:19:51Speaker 6: to the ICAST convention, I got a little dehydrated. I
- 1:19:54Speaker 6: wasn't drinking enough, But I came back and got it together.
- 1:19:58Speaker 6: There's someting like juice combinations that really hydrate you, like
- 1:20:04Speaker 6: water with pineapple and watermelon.
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: Watermelon is a great hydration thing.
- 1:20:10Speaker 11: Yeah, that's right.
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: But you how to stay hydrated in this weather man,
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: it's critical you do.
- 1:20:15Speaker 9: And they say they also say limitture outdrectivity and check
- 1:20:18Speaker 9: on your neighbors, so have you been doing that as well?
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: We don't have no problem with this information. This heat

- 1:21:30Speaker 9: of a roof during a severe thunderstorm?
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: Which can be.
- 1:21:36Speaker 3: Both both.
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: We don't get in the wood, We ain't food with
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: the storm. We don't get in the woods.

- 1:21:46Speaker 1: roof fang gonna be what you think it is. And
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: you know this how it's overrated.

- 1:22:05Speaker 12: What you heard it?
- 1:22:07Speaker 9: You heard it?
- 1:22:09Speaker 10: No?
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: Not at this age. I'd have seen a lot of
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: my friends wives, somebody you don't know. I've seen Rodney girl.
- 1:22:21Speaker 10: I know.
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: That's a hard no for you. What do you see
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: your shirt? You wouldn't do it either.
- 1:22:31Speaker 9: No, not a camping trip. We're moving on on a
- 1:22:35Speaker 9: camping trip. Would you rather have your cell phone die?
- 1:22:39Speaker 9: Or would you rather have your flashlight run out of batteries?
- 1:22:42Speaker 7: I want their phone working. We can do it. Dah
- 1:22:44Speaker 7: yeah flashlight. We gotta get their phone. My phone got
- 1:22:49Speaker 7: a flashlight?
- 1:22:50Speaker 11: Yeah all right?
- 1:22:51Speaker 9: Would you rather have Morgan Freeman or Junior narrate your
- 1:22:56Speaker 9: life story?
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: Right then? Sure will?
- 1:23:08Speaker 6: After he was living in the car, it all went
- 1:23:10Speaker 6: down after that, Sure Will.
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: Then came show time and deal power.
- 1:23:19Speaker 3: I want a little boy.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: I used to sit up and watch that all night.
- 1:23:22Speaker 3: I go to school and tell all the jokes.

- 1:23:38Speaker 1: for us tonight. Give you that. I do all your
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: jokes in the same one that Mitch Green everybody when

- 1:24:01Speaker 11: Junior is going to narrate your life story. I can't wait.
- 1:24:06Speaker 11: I can't wait for that.
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:24:08Speaker 11: Would you rather? Would you rather be a famous singer
- 1:24:13Speaker 11: or a famous actor?
- 1:24:16Speaker 5: Singer?
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: You well, you want to be a famous actor, saying

- 1:25:40Speaker 11: you have some clothes.
- 1:25:41Speaker 6: Yeah, you know, Junior had asked me at the top
- 1:25:44Speaker 6: of the show, Junior, do you remember your question.
- 1:25:47Speaker 7: At the top of the show exactly how you asked it?
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: Do you ever get tired of being the chosen Do
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: I ever get tired of being the chosen one?
- 1:25:57Speaker 6: You know, that's all a question that a lot of
- 1:26:03Speaker 6: people have to grapple with because the chosen one doesn't
- 1:26:09Speaker 6: mean you're famous or well off. There's nothing to do
- 1:26:12Speaker 6: with that.
- 1:26:14Speaker 7: It is the.
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: Position that you've been elevated to that has you.
- 1:26:22Speaker 6: As the one that people call upon, that people rely on,
- 1:26:28Speaker 6: that people depend on. You're the fixer in your family.
- 1:26:34Speaker 6: You're usually the first one to ever make it out.
- 1:26:37Speaker 6: You're the first one to gain position down at the company.
- 1:26:41Speaker 6: You're the first person with the title, the first person
- 1:26:44Speaker 6: with the college degree, the first person to become successful,
- 1:26:48Speaker 6: the first one in your family to open a business.
- 1:26:52Speaker 6: Once you have separated yourself from what's called the norm,
- 1:26:58Speaker 6: there are some people who will consider you different and special,
- 1:27:04Speaker 6: and you are you are, And because of this, you
- 1:27:10Speaker 6: become the target for everybody's wants needs. You know, all
- 1:27:16Speaker 6: of a sudden, you become an expert on advice. All
- 1:27:20Speaker 6: of a sudden, you become the go to person for answers,
- 1:27:24Speaker 6: You become the go to person for money. You become
- 1:27:29Speaker 6: the go to person to problem solve. You just get
- 1:27:32Speaker 6: that Monika, you get tagged with it, and you become
- 1:27:37Speaker 6: the chosen one. Now there are levels to it, of course,
- 1:27:41Speaker 6: but you are it.
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: Now. Once you are it, you have to understand something.
- 1:27:47Speaker 6: What makes me grateful about being the chosen one is
- 1:27:52Speaker 6: that I have discovered something in my life. The Bible
- 1:27:56Speaker 6: says that he will make you the lender and not
- 1:27:59Speaker 6: the borrower. That's one of the promises of God. Now
- 1:28:03Speaker 6: you think about that for a second. With all the
- 1:28:06Speaker 6: times you get tired of people coming to you for money,
- 1:28:09Speaker 6: ain't you glad you ain't the one that's got to
- 1:28:11Speaker 6: go to somebody for money. I would rather be the
- 1:28:14Speaker 6: lender than the borrower. I would rather be the person
- 1:28:18Speaker 6: who helps people with their problems than the one that's
- 1:28:21Speaker 6: always got a problem, because in being the chosen one,
- 1:28:25Speaker 6: you've obviously learned how the problem solved quite well. You've
- 1:28:28Speaker 6: handled conflict resolution quite well. You have managed to become
- 1:28:34Speaker 6: a person who knows how to perform under pressure. You
- 1:28:40Speaker 6: are a person who is prone to action as opposed
- 1:28:44Speaker 6: to reaction. So you're the chosen one. Do I get
- 1:28:50Speaker 6: tired of being the chosen one? Absolutely? But here's the
- 1:28:54Speaker 6: problem with being the chosen one, y'all. You don't get
- 1:28:56Speaker 6: to not be the chosen one. You know, you don't
- 1:29:00Speaker 6: get to give it back. Heavy is the head that
- 1:29:02Speaker 6: wears a crown. You don't get to take the crown off.
- 1:29:06Speaker 6: You just don't get to. It's a practice. But it's
- 1:29:09Speaker 6: what you worked for, it's what you've earned, it's what
- 1:29:13Speaker 6: you've deserved to be in your life. So get your
- 1:29:17Speaker 6: head up, put your knuckles in, your lower back, being
- 1:29:22Speaker 6: your knees, brace up, and deal with it because.
- 1:29:26Speaker 10: It is what it is.
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: And it's not going to change, And for it to change,
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: you would have to no longer be you?
- 1:29:36Speaker 10: Now?
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: Are you willing to give up that?
- 1:29:39Speaker 6: Are you willing to give back all the blessings God
- 1:29:42Speaker 6: has given you, all the means, all the opportunities, all
- 1:29:48Speaker 6: the grace and favor?
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: And answer to that is no. So where your crown
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: proudly you are the chosen One and deal with it.
- 1:30:00Speaker 3: Is it hard?
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: Yes?
- 1:30:02Speaker 6: But guess what's also hard? It's also hard not being
- 1:30:05Speaker 6: the chosen one. I would rather be extraordinary than ordinary.
- 1:30:10Speaker 7: That's just me.
- 1:30:12Speaker 10: Now.
- 1:30:12Speaker 6: There's nothing wrong with being ordinary. Please don't get me wrong.
- 1:30:16Speaker 6: I know some beautiful ordinary people. Some of my best
- 1:30:20Speaker 6: friends are what's called ordinary people. But that ain't my path.
- 1:30:26Speaker 6: That ain't my walk. My walk was different and yours
- 1:30:31Speaker 6: is different. Now are no people who have the exact
- 1:30:34Speaker 6: same footprints in the sand. You can try to replicate
- 1:30:37Speaker 6: somebody's footsteps, but I got news for you. That ain't
- 1:30:40Speaker 6: your path. And stop looking at somebody else wanting that
- 1:30:45Speaker 6: for you, because that ain't what it is.
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: Do you know something?
- 1:30:49Speaker 6: Comparison is the greatest thief of joy. If you want
- 1:30:53Speaker 6: to feel not joyful, start comparing yourself. If I looked
- 1:30:59Speaker 6: at and how much money Magic Johnson made versus what
- 1:31:03Speaker 6: I make. I could go somewhere and get sad about that,
- 1:31:06Speaker 6: or Tyler Perry made versus what I mean. I could
- 1:31:08Speaker 6: go geinst that Robert Smith makes more than me. I
- 1:31:11Speaker 6: could go gets that I can't tell how many people
- 1:31:13Speaker 6: make more than me. I could go somewhere and get sad.
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: But I'm not.
- 1:31:17Speaker 6: This is my walk, this is my path. It's okay
- 1:31:21Speaker 6: where I am, and you got to be okay with
- 1:31:24Speaker 6: where you are. Stop comparing yourself to other people again.
- 1:31:29Speaker 6: Comparison is the greatest thief of joy. If you want
- 1:31:33Speaker 6: to make yourself feel bad today, start comparing yourself to
- 1:31:37Speaker 6: everybody that's got more you. You finna have a bad day.
- 1:31:43Speaker 6: Gratitude affects your attitude, which is in direct correlation with
- 1:31:47Speaker 6: your altitude. Remember that it's okay to be the chilsen.
- 1:31:52Speaker 6: It's okay you do. Just find that you can't be
- 1:31:56Speaker 6: nothing else and you don't get to give it pack.
- 1:31:57Speaker 6: Y'all have a great day today. Talk to God you
- 1:32:00Speaker 6: would absolutely love to hear from y'all.
