- 2:03Speaker 7: Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice? Come on
- 2:07Speaker 7: dig me now one it only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 7: radio show. You know this week, I just been on it,
- 2:14Speaker 7: so today is no different. I'm telling you, I've just
- 2:18Speaker 7: reinvigorated myself. I'm more determined to share the principles of success.
- 2:24Speaker 7: I'm more determined to help and guide and teach as
- 2:29Speaker 7: many people as I can the things that I've learned.
- 2:32Speaker 7: And I mean, man, I've been through it. I have
- 2:34Speaker 7: really been through it. I kid you not.
- 2:36Speaker 8: You know.
- 2:37Speaker 7: I used to say, Okay, God, you know, why is
- 2:39Speaker 7: all this happening to me? But as I've gotten older,
- 2:42Speaker 7: I understand that was the ingredients. I needed the ingredients
- 2:47Speaker 7: to be this cake. I needed all those ingredients stirred up.
- 2:51Speaker 7: I need all of that different flavors, the stuff that
- 2:54Speaker 7: I didn't think tastes so good. All that stuff had
- 2:57Speaker 7: to come into the bowl in order for me to
- 3:00Speaker 7: get to where I am today. As much as I
- 3:03Speaker 7: did not like the taste of the ingredients, little.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Did I know God was making this cake, not me.
- 3:11Speaker 7: But what he did was and you've heard the old
- 3:14Speaker 7: saying God could turn lemons into lemonade, Well that's what
- 3:18Speaker 7: he was doing now. At the time, it all had
- 3:23Speaker 7: a little funky lemonade lemony flavor to it, with some
- 3:27Speaker 7: other stuff in it too.
- 3:29Speaker 2: I didn't care for it.
- 3:30Speaker 7: But little did I know that I needed everything that
- 3:33Speaker 7: happened to me, that happened to me in the exact
- 3:36Speaker 7: order that it happened, and the exact array of things
- 3:39Speaker 7: that happened for me to have the knowledge I have today,
- 3:42Speaker 7: the experience, the attitude, so I could turn around and
- 3:48Speaker 7: share that information. Okay, got that out the way. This
- 3:53Speaker 7: is what I want to give to you today. I
- 3:55Speaker 7: want you to understand something that discipline determines your destiny,
- 4:01Speaker 7: not your desire. Discipline determines your destiny, not your desire.
- 4:08Speaker 2: You've heard me say this.
- 4:09Speaker 7: How many times on the show Okay, here we go againstee.
- 4:12Speaker 7: I got it. Faith with our works is dead. So
- 4:17Speaker 7: let me tell you something. To be a hard worker,
- 4:19Speaker 7: you got to be disciplined. That's one of the hardest
- 4:22Speaker 7: lessons I'm trying to get through to my sons. You're
- 4:25Speaker 7: gonna throw yourself down a cliff if you're not a
- 4:28Speaker 7: young man or a man that possesses discipline. Because they
- 4:33Speaker 7: got something for undisciplined people. They got some street laws
- 4:37Speaker 7: for undisciplined people, and they got some federal laws and
- 4:41Speaker 7: state laws for undisciplined people. So that's why them signs
- 4:45Speaker 7: is outside on the freeway, we're gonna let you go fast,
- 4:48Speaker 7: But seventy is the limit.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Seventy fast enough.
- 4:51Speaker 7: Really, if you're disciplined enough of a person to leave
- 4:55Speaker 7: your house at the time you're supposed to leave your house,
- 4:58Speaker 7: seventy miles per hour is absolutely enough. But if you're
- 5:02Speaker 7: an undisciplined person, if you don't have the wherewithal to
- 5:06Speaker 7: leave your house on time, to get ready to go
- 5:09Speaker 7: where you wanna go, see the desires where you wanna go,
- 5:13Speaker 7: the discipline.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Is how you get there.
- 5:16Speaker 7: You understand you can wanna go to see your family
- 5:19Speaker 7: in California all you want, but the flight leaves at
- 5:23Speaker 7: one eighteen.
- 5:25Speaker 2: You leave your house at twelve thirty.
- 5:27Speaker 7: They told you you must check in one hour before
- 5:32Speaker 7: your flight. Now, if you ain't got the discipline to
- 5:35Speaker 7: get to the airport to check in one hour before
- 5:38Speaker 7: your flight, leaving your house forty five minutes before the
- 5:41Speaker 7: flight departs, what you think gonna happen? Your desire to
- 5:45Speaker 7: go see your family in la is going to be
- 5:48Speaker 7: thwarted because you lack the discipline to prepare yourself and
- 5:53Speaker 7: get yourself ready to do the things that you have
- 5:56Speaker 7: to do to make your desires come true. I'm telling
- 5:59Speaker 7: you you, discipline determines your destiny, not your desire.
- 6:04Speaker 2: You can write down a list of.
- 6:05Speaker 7: Stuff you wanna do all day, but if you don't
- 6:08Speaker 7: produce and show the discipline necessary to get there, what
- 6:12Speaker 7: you think gonna happen?
- 6:14Speaker 3: Huh?
- 6:15Speaker 7: Okay? I wanna be rich? Okay, I wanna make four
- 6:20Speaker 7: hundred thousand a year. Okay, I wanna be the best
- 6:24Speaker 7: player that they is. Okay, but you don't want practice.
- 6:29Speaker 7: See the cat that's disciplined enough to show up at practice,
- 6:32Speaker 7: that's shooting jumpers when everybody gone home that's the guy
- 6:36Speaker 7: that's gonna be the best. The guy that's never late
- 6:38Speaker 7: for practice, the guy that study the playbook. That's the
- 6:41Speaker 7: guy that's gonna make it, not the guy that's talking crack,
- 6:45Speaker 7: got stalking that smack. I'm gonna make the Pro Bowl,
- 6:47Speaker 7: I'm gonna make the All Star Team. I'm gonna be
- 6:49Speaker 7: All American. That's just what you're saying. But discipline determines
- 6:55Speaker 7: your destiny, not your desire. So now let's talk about
- 6:58Speaker 7: this discipline. What is that, really, Steve. That's your work ethic,
- 7:03Speaker 7: that's your hunger, that's your will. Discipline is how hard
- 7:08Speaker 7: you're willing to demonstrate the attributes and the traits to
- 7:16Speaker 7: be what you want to be.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Did you hear me?
- 7:19Speaker 7: It is your willingness to conduct yourself in a manner
- 7:24Speaker 7: that is above and beyond what they say is necessary. Now,
- 7:28Speaker 7: this is a good example right here.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Now.
- 7:31Speaker 7: You can wanna be in the NFL all you want,
- 7:34Speaker 7: but they got this thing called the NFL Combines where
- 7:37Speaker 7: they bring in some of the top players at every
- 7:40Speaker 7: position to come in and they gonna run a forty
- 7:43Speaker 7: yard dash, they gonna do a standing broad jump, They're
- 7:47Speaker 7: gonna do a standing vertical leap. They gonna do drills,
- 7:53Speaker 7: running drills, cutting drills. They can determine if a linebacker
- 7:57Speaker 7: got stiff hips by making him back pedal, point him
- 8:00Speaker 7: in one direction and throw the football in another direction.
- 8:03Speaker 2: How does he turn his body?
- 8:05Speaker 7: Now you can say you can tell everybody at your
- 8:07Speaker 7: college you want to play pro football. You can tell
- 8:09Speaker 7: everybody at your high school. You can tell them in
- 8:11Speaker 7: Peewee you wanna play pro football. But they got tests
- 8:14Speaker 7: for you though. It's called the combines. Now you get
- 8:17Speaker 7: out here and you have a bad combine day, Ain't
- 8:20Speaker 7: nobody trying to hear that. Let me tell you how
- 8:22Speaker 7: excuses don't work with people when they just trying to
- 8:24Speaker 7: get when they trying to win in the NFL.
- 8:27Speaker 2: The fact that you had a bad day at the.
- 8:29Speaker 7: Combine and you don't run your best forties and you
- 8:33Speaker 7: keep telling them you could do better, they don't want
- 8:35Speaker 7: to hear that. Because see, what ain't nobody gonna pay
- 8:37Speaker 7: you for is to play on Sunday. And that's one
- 8:40Speaker 7: of your bad days. We paying you to play on Sundays.
- 8:45Speaker 7: But because you keep having these bad days, because you
- 8:49Speaker 7: ain't disciplined enough to put in the work, to make
- 8:51Speaker 7: sure that your.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Maximum can be called upon at any time.
- 8:55Speaker 7: Now you at to combine with some slow times that
- 8:58Speaker 7: go on your record.
- 9:00Speaker 1: To combine.
- 9:00Speaker 7: You don't jump as high as you did when you
- 9:02Speaker 7: was at the gym class. Well, hold up, man, this
- 9:05Speaker 7: is show day now. In the NFL, Sunday is show day.
- 9:09Speaker 7: What they can't run the risk of is paying you
- 9:11Speaker 7: your money. And your bad day happen to be on
- 9:14Speaker 7: Sundays after we didn't cut your check. No, no, no,
- 9:18Speaker 7: We looking for people who limit them bad days, who
- 9:21Speaker 7: got the discipline to work hard, to make an effort
- 9:24Speaker 7: for it. You understand what I'm saying to your folks,
- 9:26Speaker 7: Please understand this. Discipline determines your destiny, not your desire.
- 9:32Speaker 2: You can want it all you.
- 9:33Speaker 7: Want, But if you ain't working, if you ain't grinding,
- 9:38Speaker 7: if you ain't hurting, if you ain't sweating real bad,
- 9:41Speaker 7: if you always somewhere, got to chill, you got to
- 9:45Speaker 7: have a cold one, you got to smoke one, You
- 9:48Speaker 7: got to do all them things. Can I tell you
- 9:50Speaker 7: something you ain't gonna make it. Discipline determines your destiny,
- 9:55Speaker 7: not your desire.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening. It's a the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:02Speaker 7: Ladies and gentlemen, put a smile on your face because well,
- 10:09Speaker 7: God did it again.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Another gift, another day, another honor, another pleasure.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Listen.
- 10:16Speaker 7: I know for some of you some things were a
- 10:19Speaker 7: bit challenging yesterday, and I know that you.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Had some tough moments yesterday. But guess what.
- 10:26Speaker 7: The fact that God woke you up again today, it's
- 10:30Speaker 7: a sign that He ain't through with you yet, and
- 10:33Speaker 7: he getting you ready to receive the blessings that you've
- 10:36Speaker 7: been asking for. But it's a process, y'all. I will
- 10:40Speaker 7: tell you that it is a process. But start understanding
- 10:44Speaker 7: and appreciating the journey because at least you own it.
- 10:47Speaker 7: You are own it and in it. Today is the
- 10:50Speaker 7: day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and
- 10:52Speaker 7: be glad in it.
- 10:54Speaker 2: I am.
- 10:54Speaker 7: Let's go Shelon Strawberry, Calinfrail, Mississippi Monica Junior and the
- 10:58Speaker 7: Legend of Nephew Tommy.
- 11:00Speaker 4: And yeah, I gotta ask you someone because something didn't
- 11:04Speaker 4: go right for me yesterday.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Uh huh, got some news didn't really go well.
- 11:10Speaker 4: But I'm trying to learn do I keep the same
- 11:12Speaker 4: attitude with the successes as you do the failures Because
- 11:14Speaker 4: I'm really really kind of upsetting myself that it didn't
- 11:17Speaker 4: work out.
- 11:19Speaker 7: Well, it's a lot of times it's not gonna work out.
- 11:23Speaker 7: And that's not to say you won't ever be disappointed,
- 11:25Speaker 7: because you will. But you gotta keep getting up and
- 11:29Speaker 7: facing it because sometimes, man, do you know why things
- 11:33Speaker 7: don't work out? Sometimes sometimes it don't work out because
- 11:36Speaker 7: God heard conversations you didn't hear, He saw things you
- 11:40Speaker 7: didn't see, and he knows some stuff that you don't know,
- 11:45Speaker 7: and so he just caught He keeps it from happening
- 11:48Speaker 7: so it don't mess up your life. And a lot
- 11:51Speaker 7: of times we think, well, that doesne messed up our plans? Well, see,
- 11:54Speaker 7: your plans, if they get carried out all the time,
- 11:58Speaker 7: will really mess up your life. Do you know how
- 12:00Speaker 7: many times your plan has messed up your life? Do
- 12:04Speaker 7: you know how many times your plan has messed up
- 12:10Speaker 7: your life? And then sometimes God just get tired of
- 12:14Speaker 7: us and he gonna, look, I'm not gonna let that
- 12:16Speaker 7: one happen, cause that you don't even know the dog
- 12:20Speaker 7: road the dog Now who you didne been with that
- 12:23Speaker 7: you made the plan to be with and God with Okay, alright,
- 12:28Speaker 7: I tell you what.
- 12:29Speaker 2: I ain't gonna let you do that no more. So
- 12:32Speaker 2: the next time.
- 12:32Speaker 7: You try to get with somebody, he throw a little
- 12:35Speaker 7: money wrench in it. Right, man, I sure wanted to
- 12:38Speaker 7: get with her brother. He heard some conversations you did
- 12:42Speaker 7: in here. He saw some things you didn't see, and
- 12:45Speaker 7: he knows some stuff you don't know, and he just
- 12:48Speaker 7: don't let it happen. So I've learned to accept the defeats,
- 12:53Speaker 7: the setbacks, and I've really gotten a lot more comfortable
- 12:56Speaker 7: with the nose cause I go, man, do you know
- 13:00Speaker 7: because if God want me to have something, do you
- 13:02Speaker 7: know what's going to happen? And it ain't gonna matter
- 13:05Speaker 7: what nobody say. Now I found that to be true too,
- 13:10Speaker 7: and so I just try to live my life more
- 13:13Speaker 7: even keel. Like I don't get too excited when it
- 13:16Speaker 7: go right, and I don't get too down when it
- 13:18Speaker 7: go wrong. I just kind of just stay flat pe
- 13:21Speaker 7: tell the man you got this, you ain't you ain't? Yeah,
- 13:23Speaker 7: thank you, man, dog, I figure you'd be more excited
- 13:26Speaker 7: than that. Yeah, Okay, Well you keep living though, cause
- 13:30Speaker 7: crve ball coming. You know what I'm saying?
- 13:35Speaker 1: All right, thank you guys coming up at thirty two

- 16:41Speaker 10: First of all, now you can call you can call

- 26:10Speaker 1: I was not trying to be sexual. I've never smoked
- 26:12Speaker 1: a cigar, so I wanted to try it. He thinks

- 26:52Speaker 7: that without you know what coming with that?
- 26:55Speaker 1: All right?
- 26:56Speaker 7: So now you know how do you fix this? O't
- 27:00Speaker 7: ever go back out with him smoking, no more, just
- 27:02Speaker 7: avoid him. Okay, tell you right now. He ran that
- 27:08Speaker 7: statement through his mind at least away at old time. Wow,
- 27:15Speaker 7: he didn't bought a box of cigar. But but but
- 27:19Speaker 7: but let me tell you something. Let me let me

- 27:35Speaker 1: I texted the next girlfriend after she had surgery to
- 27:37Speaker 1: see how she was doing. She posted a huge thank you,
- 27:41Speaker 1: a huge thank you to everyone that checked on her,
- 27:44Speaker 1: and she listed my name my wife though it and

- 28:13Speaker 2: I didn't know it was an ex girlfriend.
- 28:15Speaker 1: I can't help you. I can't help.
- 28:20Speaker 2: If you're gonna be drinking from that cup for a long.
- 28:22Speaker 1: Time, be concerned about your little old friend once again.
- 28:28Speaker 7: Help Christmas, hey man, and don't let your wife get sick.
- 28:33Speaker 7: You ain't gonna be able to do it nothing.
- 28:35Speaker 8: Yeah, all right, like you check her.
- 28:41Speaker 1: Last one, Steve. This is from Riesa and Williamsburg. Rita says,
- 28:46Speaker 1: I broke up with my boyfriend because he cheated on me.
- 28:49Speaker 1: The girl he cheated with called me and said that
- 28:51Speaker 1: I should take him back because all he did was
- 28:53Speaker 1: talk about me while they were together. Should I consider
- 28:57Speaker 1: him giving him a second chance.
- 29:01Speaker 7: As possible? You know what, Well, here's a myth that
- 29:05Speaker 7: women have. Women say wants a cheatah, always a Cheatah.
- 29:10Speaker 2: That is not the truth. That's not a true statement.
- 29:14Speaker 2: It's some man that get it right.
- 29:17Speaker 13: It is.
- 29:20Speaker 7: Now can you deal with that? That's up to you.
- 29:23Speaker 7: That's an individual person.
- 29:25Speaker 2: I can't tell you.
- 29:26Speaker 1: Yeah, take him back and all that. It's up to you.
- 29:29Speaker 1: Then you want him back to ask that question thinking about.
- 29:35Speaker 7: It, but it was pretty dope though. The dude he
- 29:38Speaker 7: created her out. He talked about her the whole time,
- 29:41Speaker 7: which meant he really didn't want that side piece. That means, oh,
- 29:47Speaker 7: he told me that. I'm just over here because because
- 29:50Speaker 7: I've been disappointed. It's like I heard of a gown
- 29:54Speaker 7: on Instagram one time. He's talking to a group of women.
- 29:56Speaker 1: I really like the guy.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Where's wire frame glasses were a skull cap?
- 30:00Speaker 1: Got a beer? I don't know, I like him. I'm
- 30:03Speaker 1: not to come very very.
- 30:04Speaker 7: Bright out with wisdom relationships, younge, and he was on
- 30:09Speaker 7: the boat too.
- 30:11Speaker 1: Okay, all right, coming up at the top of the hour,
- 30:15Speaker 1: we have entertainment news that's coming up right after this.
- 30:18Speaker 1: You're listening to the same Harvey Warning show. All right,
- 30:24Speaker 1: So have you guys heard about this?
- 30:25Speaker 3: Now?
- 30:25Speaker 1: We don't know if it's true, but there are rumors
- 30:28Speaker 1: circulating on the internet that the late great Quincy Jones
- 30:31Speaker 1: left his kids just a huge amount I mean staggering
- 30:35Speaker 1: amount of money from record sales and royalties to multimedia
- 30:39Speaker 1: companies in real estate. Quincy's seven children, including his actor
- 30:43Speaker 1: daughter Rashida Jones, are set to inherit a staggering fortune
- 30:47Speaker 1: following his death. Some reports are saying the children might
- 30:50Speaker 1: receive as much as fifty million dollars each fifty million
- 30:54Speaker 1: dollars each. He has seven kids. Quincy passed away on
- 30:57Speaker 1: November third at his Beverly Hills home. He was ninety
- 31:00Speaker 1: one years old.
- 31:02Speaker 7: I don't I don't. I don't understand what the surprise
- 31:05Speaker 7: in the shock is. I don't think people understood the
- 31:08Speaker 7: Quincy Jones value. How long he's been doing, what he's
- 31:12Speaker 7: been doing, how many hits this man is behind. I
- 31:16Speaker 7: don't think people understand Bruh and his real estate investments.
- 31:23Speaker 7: This was the premiere producer in music history that ever,
- 31:28Speaker 7: this guy of all times. Way man, this dude was
- 31:35Speaker 7: making money long time. And I'm gonna tell you something,
- 31:38Speaker 7: when you get old, Once you get old and you
- 31:41Speaker 7: still make money, you already have your house, you already
- 31:44Speaker 7: got calls, you know, you got, you got everything you need,
- 31:49Speaker 7: all of it. It's just money coming in. I don't
- 31:52Speaker 7: need why everybody's surprised at this fifty million per child
- 31:55Speaker 7: and all like this.
- 31:56Speaker 2: Are you surprised because he's black?
- 31:59Speaker 7: Because I'm telling you, man, you much you had that
- 32:04Speaker 7: kind of money money. No, Quincy Jones has staggering amounts
- 32:09Speaker 7: of money. He was wealthy. He didn't make money on appearances.
- 32:15Speaker 7: He made mailbox money. That's different, man, mailbox money when
- 32:20Speaker 7: you're sitting at the house and money come in. Once
- 32:22Speaker 7: he produced a hit. That hit is the gift that
- 32:25Speaker 7: keeps on giving forever. And they just they just rolling in. Man,
- 32:29Speaker 7: this guy was he just a phenomenal just a great
- 32:32Speaker 7: guy too.
- 32:32Speaker 1: That sure are you guys parents, I'm sure you guys
- 32:35Speaker 1: planning on leaving your kids something and oh yeah and
- 32:40Speaker 1: getting why didn't say fifty millions, but I mean you
- 32:43Speaker 1: are going to oh yeah for your kids. Yeah, that's good.
- 32:48Speaker 1: He and large.
- 32:49Speaker 7: You have made a consciousness. See yeah, we spend in
- 32:54Speaker 7: eighty five percent of this. Everybody at my funeral going
- 33:02Speaker 7: to be staggered, not staggered a mount despite the staggered, yeah,
- 33:09Speaker 7: split just about seventy. It ain't finna be what couissing
- 33:12Speaker 7: Neil got.
- 33:12Speaker 1: I tell you that, of course, Neil.
- 33:17Speaker 8: Well.
- 33:17Speaker 1: President Joe Biden welcomed back President elects Donald Trump to
- 33:21Speaker 1: the White House for a meeting in the Oval Office. Congratulations.
- 33:25Speaker 1: President Biden said, in part to Trump that he looks
- 33:29Speaker 1: forward to having a smooth transition. Trump thanked Biden, adding
- 33:33Speaker 1: that quote, politics is tough, and in many cases it's
- 33:36Speaker 1: not a nice world. But it is a nice world today,
- 33:39Speaker 1: and I appreciate it very much. We all remember that
- 33:42Speaker 1: Trump did not give um transition. Yeah he said that.
- 33:46Speaker 1: I saw it out of his mouth.
- 33:47Speaker 13: Yeah he did.
- 33:51Speaker 1: We all remember that Trump, of course didn't give a
- 33:53Speaker 1: smooth transition to President Biden back on January sixth of
- 33:57Speaker 1: twenty twenty one. That was the same days insirect. So
- 34:00Speaker 1: here's a question. Have you guys ever been forced to
- 34:03Speaker 1: be nice? Forced to be nice to someone you didn't like.
- 34:07Speaker 3: Every day.
- 34:11Speaker 1: You're forced to be nice you don't want to be.
- 34:15Speaker 2: I can't think a day that went by. I ain't
- 34:17Speaker 2: been pushing.
- 34:21Speaker 11: Man.
- 34:21Speaker 7: I had a job one time. I worked at Generally Electric. Man,
- 34:26Speaker 7: I had a boss named Bob Cook. Fat potbelly, asked
- 34:31Speaker 7: Bob Cook. He set up at the desk one time,
- 34:35Speaker 7: put his feet up on the desk. Now, in the
- 34:37Speaker 7: little meinal job. But I learned how drive a tow
- 34:40Speaker 7: mode on that job and everything. And he set me
- 34:42Speaker 7: down one day and he put his feet up on
- 34:44Speaker 7: the desk. He said, Steve can tell you something. He said,
- 34:47Speaker 7: if you hang in there, you do everything I tell
- 34:51Speaker 7: you to do, just the way I tell you to
- 34:53Speaker 7: do it. He's saying, about twenty five years, you could
- 34:56Speaker 7: be me.
- 35:01Speaker 1: Come on, I got up and.
- 35:02Speaker 7: Went to my locker, put my clothes on it. Quick,
- 35:07Speaker 7: you fat pot belly. If you think you it, wait
- 35:10Speaker 7: a minute. In twenty five years, I can be you
- 35:16Speaker 7: twenty five years. Dog, I was twenty twenty five. I
- 35:22Speaker 7: was twenty five at fifty, I'm gonna be you, boy.
- 35:27Speaker 2: That ain't the play. I got on, got to my
- 35:34Speaker 2: locker and quick.
- 35:36Speaker 1: Junior, I know you have a story. We don't have
- 35:39Speaker 1: the time for that one. I can't have no comment.
- 35:43Speaker 1: That's what I have to sin.
- 35:44Speaker 4: It's like that, wow, really no comment and I'm gonna
- 35:50Speaker 4: fit And you even asked me the question with time.
- 35:56Speaker 3: Dang.
- 35:57Speaker 1: I can't wait to hear that one out here. Yeah,
- 35:59Speaker 1: all right, finally. In entertainment news, according to People magazine,
- 36:04Speaker 1: Michael Strahan is setting the record straight after receiving backlash
- 36:08Speaker 1: when he didn't put his hand over his heart during
- 36:10Speaker 1: the national anthem during Fox's Veterans Day tribute on Sunday,
- 36:15Speaker 1: November tenth, Strayhan posted a video on his IG page
- 36:20Speaker 1: and said, quote, everyone thought he's protesting. He's making a
- 36:23Speaker 1: statement which is so far from the truth. He said,
- 36:26Speaker 1: I have nothing to protest. I have no statement to
- 36:29Speaker 1: be made. The only statement that should be made that

- 56:22Speaker 1: It is strawberry letter thanking a you subject. Why can't
- 56:27Speaker 1: we both be happy? Dear Stephen Shirley. I was best
- 56:31Speaker 1: friends with a hateful and very selfish person for thirty
- 56:34Speaker 1: plus years, and I don't even I didn't even know
- 56:37Speaker 1: it until my boyfriend now husband asked me to marry him.
- 56:41Speaker 1: He proposed three months before my best friend's wedding, and
- 56:45Speaker 1: we had a small party to celebrate our engagement. My
- 56:48Speaker 1: best friend didn't come, and she called me a distasteful
- 56:52Speaker 1: bee for allowing my man to propose so close to
- 56:55Speaker 1: her wedding. She said our engagement party was just to
- 56:58Speaker 1: throw it in her face that I was getting married.
- 57:01Speaker 1: She said it was supposed to be all about her
- 57:03Speaker 1: leading up to her wedding, but instead I tried to
- 57:06Speaker 1: compete with her. What she didn't know is that my
- 57:09Speaker 1: man wanted to propose to me at her wedding reception.
- 57:13Speaker 1: Now that really would have set her off. Both of
- 57:15Speaker 1: us have been with our boyfriends a long time and
- 57:18Speaker 1: we both dreamed of getting engaged. I did not have
- 57:21Speaker 1: a problem when she got engaged before me. I was
- 57:24Speaker 1: happy because she was like a sister to me. This
- 57:27Speaker 1: woman ended our friendship and she kicked me out of
- 57:30Speaker 1: the wedding. It's been two years and I had a
- 57:33Speaker 1: wedding without her, and I feel like a part of
- 57:36Speaker 1: me is missing. I want to make peace and get
- 57:38Speaker 1: some closure, but she still won't talk to me. My
- 57:41Speaker 1: husband said I should leave it alone because I don't
- 57:44Speaker 1: need any person in my life that's that selfish and
- 57:47Speaker 1: can cut me off that easily. I've had plenty of
- 57:50Speaker 1: time to think about this, and I can't understand what
- 57:53Speaker 1: I did wrong. My husband said he proposed when he
- 57:57Speaker 1: felt like the time was right, and it had no
- 58:00Speaker 1: thing to do with her, So let her go. Should
- 58:03Speaker 1: I keep trying to reach out to her to let
- 58:05Speaker 1: her know that I was not being vindictive? Or should
- 58:08Speaker 1: I let it go and keep praying for her?
- 58:11Speaker 8: Well?
- 58:12Speaker 1: No, okay, listen to your husband on this one. Please.
- 58:16Speaker 1: This woman is not your friend. You've been with her
- 58:19Speaker 1: for you guys were friends, you thought for thirty plus years. No,
- 58:23Speaker 1: that wasn't the case. A friend wouldn't do this to you,
- 58:26Speaker 1: just like you were happy for her when she got engaged.
- 58:28Speaker 1: A friend would have just been as excited for you
- 58:30Speaker 1: when you got engaged. You might miss her and what
- 58:33Speaker 1: you thought was a real sisterhood between the two of you.
- 58:36Speaker 1: But she's shown you who she is. Okay, you already know,
- 58:40Speaker 1: so you got to believe her. Anyway. She cuts you
- 58:43Speaker 1: off just like that, and she's gone on with her
- 58:45Speaker 1: life and hasn't reached out to you at all. You
- 58:47Speaker 1: said all that in your letter. It's been a whole
- 58:49Speaker 1: two years since you've spoken to her. She's not thinking
- 58:52Speaker 1: about you. This is over and that's why your husband
- 58:56Speaker 1: against is against any kind of reconciliation because he knows
- 59:00Speaker 1: how hurtful this was to you. So don't open up
- 59:04Speaker 1: old wounds by inviting her back into your life. It's
- 59:07Speaker 1: not gonna work out. And yes, keep praying for her,
- 59:09Speaker 1: no harm in that. Can't see how that can't help
- 59:13Speaker 1: this situation.
- 59:13Speaker 7: See, well, this letter really, the way it starts it
- 59:22Speaker 7: really helps me with my answer throughout the letter. The
- 59:28Speaker 7: question is why can't we both be happy? And I
- 59:32Speaker 7: will explain to you why that's not possible. Here listen
- 59:37Speaker 7: to the opening line of the letter, Stephen Shirley, I
- 59:43Speaker 7: was best friends with a hateful and very selfish person
- 59:52Speaker 7: for thirty plus years and I ain't even know it
- 59:55Speaker 7: until my boyfriend now husband asked me to marry him.
- 59:58Speaker 2: Do you know what you have to unpack in that statement?
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: Right there?
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: You were best friends. This is the best friend you had.
- 1:00:10Speaker 7: This is the best you've had in thirty years to
- 1:00:14Speaker 7: a hateful and very selfish person for thirty plus.
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: Years, and I ain't know it until my husband asked
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: me to marry him.
- 1:00:26Speaker 7: Now, what started this was he proposed three months before
- 1:00:30Speaker 7: my best friend's wedding, and they had a small party
- 1:00:34Speaker 7: to celebrate their engagement three months before the wedding. My
- 1:00:41Speaker 7: best friend didn't come, and she called me a distasteful
- 1:00:47Speaker 7: bee for allowing my man.
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: To propose so close to her wedding.
- 1:00:53Speaker 7: She said our engagement party was just to throw it
- 1:00:55Speaker 7: in her face that I was getting married. Well, she
- 1:00:59Speaker 7: was getting married in three months, and according to this letter,
- 1:01:04Speaker 7: you were in the wedding. So this plan in the
- 1:01:09Speaker 7: wedding takes little more than three months from what I understand.
- 1:01:12Speaker 7: So she's planning this wedding, she's gonna get married in
- 1:01:15Speaker 7: three months. Your boyfriend now fiance, now her husband, asked
- 1:01:21Speaker 7: you to marry him three months before. No man thinks
- 1:01:26Speaker 7: about that stuff, ain't nobody at no dude did that
- 1:01:29Speaker 7: deliberately I'm on show him that ain't how men think,
- 1:01:33Speaker 7: and said that you were trying to compete with her.
- 1:01:36Speaker 7: What she didn't know is my man wanted to propose
- 1:01:39Speaker 7: to me at her wedding reception. Now that would have
- 1:01:42Speaker 7: really set her off. Girl, you don't even know. You
- 1:01:46Speaker 7: ain't never spoke the truth. But then I didn't have
- 1:01:51Speaker 7: a problem when she got engaged before me. So I'm
- 1:01:55Speaker 7: just reading this letter because I'm gonna wait to the
- 1:01:57Speaker 7: second half to tell you what this is. And I've
- 1:02:00Speaker 7: been in I know what this is, so I'm gonna
- 1:02:03Speaker 7: help you understand this way. But lady, I'm just reading
- 1:02:06Speaker 7: to you. I want you to hear what you're describing
- 1:02:08Speaker 7: to us. I was happy because she was like a
- 1:02:13Speaker 7: sister to me. You were happy she found out you
- 1:02:16Speaker 7: got married, you was getting married, and she wasn't happy.
- 1:02:20Speaker 7: The woman in it our friendship kicked me out of
- 1:02:23Speaker 7: the wed and you ain't even in the wed no more.
- 1:02:27Speaker 7: I feel like a part of me is missing. I
- 1:02:28Speaker 7: want to make peace and get some closure, but she
- 1:02:31Speaker 7: still won't talk to me. I don't know what it
- 1:02:32Speaker 7: is with y'all women. Where you got to have closure,
- 1:02:35Speaker 7: siting look like it closed to me.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: All right, Steve, hang on, we'll have part two of
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: your response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry letters subject why can't we both be happy?
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: to the Stave Harvey Morning Show. Are you ready for

- 1:03:25Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter, the subject why can't we
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: both be happy?
- 1:03:31Speaker 8: Well?
- 1:03:31Speaker 7: Why can't we both be happiness? Because something's wrong? This
- 1:03:34Speaker 7: is your description of your best friend for thirty years.
- 1:03:38Speaker 7: This is your best friend. This is the best person,
- 1:03:42Speaker 7: the best relationship you have with another female in your
- 1:03:46Speaker 7: whole life. I was best friend with a hateful and
- 1:03:49Speaker 7: very selfish person for thirty years and didn't even know
- 1:03:52Speaker 7: it until my boyfriend now husband, asked me to marry him.
- 1:03:56Speaker 7: You didn't see it. You didn't see the hatefulness. You
- 1:04:01Speaker 7: didn't see this selfish person. It took you thirty years
- 1:04:05Speaker 7: to see this.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: Lady.
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: You need to get your eyes open, You need to
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: get your head on the swoof. You need to become
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: more aware.
- 1:04:13Speaker 7: And because your husband proposed to you three months before
- 1:04:16Speaker 7: her wed she call you a distasteful b and she
- 1:04:20Speaker 7: kicked you out your her wedding, and she said your
- 1:04:23Speaker 7: engagement party was just to throw your wedding in her face.
- 1:04:27Speaker 7: But she got she got proposed to before you did,
- 1:04:31Speaker 7: and you were happy for her. And then you got
- 1:04:33Speaker 7: proposed to three months before the wedding. Now she mad
- 1:04:36Speaker 7: at you, and then you said, well, she didn't know
- 1:04:38Speaker 7: what your husband was. Now husband had intended to ask
- 1:04:42Speaker 7: you to get married at her reception.
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: Girl, she would have burnt that whole center.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: Down if you could do that.
- 1:04:50Speaker 7: I was happy because she was like a sister to me. Wow,
- 1:04:55Speaker 7: this woman ended our friendship, kicked you out the wedding.
- 1:04:58Speaker 7: It's been two years and I've had a wedding without her,
- 1:05:01Speaker 7: and I feel like a part of me is missing.
- 1:05:03Speaker 7: I want to make peace and get some closure, but
- 1:05:05Speaker 7: she still won't talk to me. And my husband said
- 1:05:09Speaker 7: I should leave it alone because I don't need any
- 1:05:11Speaker 7: person in my life that's that selfish and can cut
- 1:05:15Speaker 7: me off that easily.
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: Your husband is.
- 1:05:18Speaker 7: One hundred percent correct, and it took you thirty years
- 1:05:22Speaker 7: to see that she was hateful and selfish, and now
- 1:05:26Speaker 7: your husband come along and it has proved it to
- 1:05:28Speaker 7: you in one notion. I've had plenty of time to
- 1:05:31Speaker 7: think about this, and I can't understand what I did wrong. Lady,
- 1:05:35Speaker 7: You ain't do nothing wrong. I'm about to tell you
- 1:05:37Speaker 7: in a minute what this all. My husband said, he
- 1:05:40Speaker 7: proposed when he felt like the time was right. He
- 1:05:42Speaker 7: had nothing to do with her, cause men don't think
- 1:05:44Speaker 7: like that. I'm gonna do it three months for her
- 1:05:46Speaker 7: girl's wedding, and that'll really put me. That, ain't how dudes?
- 1:05:49Speaker 7: They so let her go? Should I keep trying to
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: reach out to her and let her know I was
- 1:05:53Speaker 7: not being vindictive? Or should I let it go and
- 1:05:56Speaker 7: keep praying for her? Well, you should let it go.
- 1:06:00Speaker 7: Keep praying for her part. I'm beating with that too.
- 1:06:03Speaker 7: I'm done with all this.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: I don't.
- 1:06:05Speaker 7: I'm not really that good a Christian. What I can
- 1:06:07Speaker 7: pray for people that don't like me don't? I don't
- 1:06:10Speaker 7: really do that. I just I don't know how. I
- 1:06:13Speaker 7: haven't developed that skill set yet. If you don't like me,
- 1:06:16Speaker 7: I don't know how to pray for you, if you
- 1:06:18Speaker 7: don't put me out your life and all this here,
- 1:06:21Speaker 7: I don't know how to pray for you. Maybe one
- 1:06:23Speaker 7: day God to get me there. But right now I'm
- 1:06:26Speaker 7: cool with it because I like people who get out
- 1:06:28Speaker 7: of my life.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: Now, let me tell you why this is all happening.
- 1:06:33Speaker 7: It's because you have what's called a one sided friendship.
- 1:06:38Speaker 7: We have all been in one sided friendships. Every adult
- 1:06:43Speaker 7: person I know can think of a relationship they were
- 1:06:46Speaker 7: in and after a while they went, wow, this is
- 1:06:48Speaker 7: a no benefit to me. I'm always there for them.
- 1:06:52Speaker 7: They ain't ever there for me. I'm always calling checking
- 1:06:56Speaker 7: on them. They don't ever call checking on me. They
- 1:06:59Speaker 7: all always come borrow money from me, they don't pay
- 1:07:03Speaker 7: me back. We've all had people like that in our lives.
- 1:07:06Speaker 7: These are called one sided friendships. I've had them before,
- 1:07:11Speaker 7: and I've learned how to spot them very quickly and
- 1:07:15Speaker 7: it's real.
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: It's a couple of tell tale signs.
- 1:07:18Speaker 7: If somebody call you and the call is always about them,
- 1:07:23Speaker 7: you need to think. If somebody always calling you to
- 1:07:27Speaker 7: tell you what's wrong with them and what they need,
- 1:07:29Speaker 7: but don't ever ask you how.
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: You're doing or what you need, you need to start
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: looking at that.
- 1:07:35Speaker 7: If you always happy for them but they ain't ever
- 1:07:38Speaker 7: happy for you, you got to start looking at that. Folks,
- 1:07:42Speaker 7: this is just bending into a one sided friendship. And
- 1:07:46Speaker 7: that's exactly what this lady had right here, a one
- 1:07:49Speaker 7: sided friendship.
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: And why you would want that back? I don't I
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: don't know.
- 1:07:55Speaker 7: You could form relationships with people who are not hateful
- 1:07:59Speaker 7: and very selfish. And listen to me, if she was
- 1:08:03Speaker 7: your best friend, I sure would hate to meet your hllities.
- 1:08:08Speaker 7: Lord have mercy, and you need to start learning how
- 1:08:11Speaker 7: to pick better friends. Somebody told me one time, describe
- 1:08:16Speaker 7: your five closest friends. And I did that one day
- 1:08:21Speaker 7: and he said, now you finished. I said yeah, he said,
- 1:08:25Speaker 7: now you've just described yourself. I said wow, because you
- 1:08:30Speaker 7: know what friends ain't like family. You get to pick
- 1:08:33Speaker 7: your friends, and you pick people that you are similar
- 1:08:38Speaker 7: to that you get along with that, you enjoy their company.
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: So think about this, y'all. Describe your five.
- 1:08:44Speaker 7: Closest friends or associates, and you are now describing yourself.
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: And I'm grateful that I've grown to learn that.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: But you need to move on.
- 1:08:53Speaker 7: Let her go because she is not She's of no
- 1:08:56Speaker 7: benefit to you. She's nothing but poison you thirty years
- 1:09:00Speaker 7: to realize this. Why would you invite her back into
- 1:09:03Speaker 7: your life as she's being extra She puts you out
- 1:09:06Speaker 7: the wind. She won't talk to you. What you need
- 1:09:09Speaker 7: to talk to her fault. All she doing is showing
- 1:09:11Speaker 7: you how hateful and selfish she is. She showed it
- 1:09:15Speaker 7: to you for thirty years. What you need ten more.
- 1:09:18Speaker 7: You ain't talked to her in two years. That thirty
- 1:09:20Speaker 7: two years are proving you right?
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: Yea men? Bye? All right? Post your comments on today's

- 1:10:28Speaker 1: Okay, now, I don't know what do you? How do

- 1:10:34Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm like my buddy to engineer Dave, our
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: engineered Dave. Dave said it best.
- 1:10:40Speaker 7: I have not wanted somebody to get their ass with more.
- 1:10:46Speaker 7: I just won't Mike to have one more glorious moment. Now,
- 1:10:54Speaker 7: what this kid has never fought is a real fighter.
- 1:10:58Speaker 7: Before everybody, his fault has been mma, so basketball player
- 1:11:04Speaker 7: and all his hell and dudes are not really boxing.
- 1:11:08Speaker 7: Mike is the first, but Mike is fifty seven. He'll
- 1:11:11Speaker 7: be fifty eight. That's my only concern. But I'm gonna
- 1:11:15Speaker 7: tell you something. The first two rounds, while Mike got
- 1:11:19Speaker 7: his legs and his energy and then faints to steal fast,
- 1:11:25Speaker 7: it's gonna be two rounds of pure hell for Jake Paul.
- 1:11:28Speaker 7: I think, and if Mike can catch him with that
- 1:11:31Speaker 7: left hook, if Mike can get that upper cut on him,
- 1:11:34Speaker 7: if Mike can get one of them three of them
- 1:11:37Speaker 7: body shots in to make him blow win because he's
- 1:11:42Speaker 7: not been hit by anybody like Mike Tyson ever in
- 1:11:46Speaker 7: his life. Mike is not a joke. But you not
- 1:11:52Speaker 7: seeing nobody fight back. That's my only concern is his age.
- 1:11:56Speaker 7: My only concern. His skill set is pure area to
- 1:12:00Speaker 7: Jake Paul I can.
- 1:12:02Speaker 4: Take twenty seven. He's twenty seven, Mike, Mike, but he don't.
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: He got four years boxing. They got rules, they got
- 1:12:13Speaker 4: rules to this fight.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: It is sanction. This will go on their record.
- 1:12:15Speaker 4: Okay, Brown's gonna be two minutes. The round's not gonna
- 1:12:18Speaker 4: be They're gonna be two minute rounds.
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: That's better.
- 1:12:21Speaker 4: Okay, Now they don't have ten rounds, they're only fighting
- 1:12:25Speaker 4: eight round I understand. Okay, Now they got fourteen ounce
- 1:12:29Speaker 4: gloves instead of team This is gonna play a factor.
- 1:12:32Speaker 7: Yeah, this is gonna help Jake Paul. That's gonna solten it.
- 1:12:37Speaker 7: It's gonna solten it. That Yeah, Yeah, that that helps
- 1:12:41Speaker 7: Jake Paul.
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: I ain't got nothing to do with Mike.
- 1:12:43Speaker 4: That's stillnna help him because he couldn't take it.
- 1:12:45Speaker 7: At him well, because you know, it's it's it's uh
- 1:12:49Speaker 7: that extra ounce slows the punch a little bit and
- 1:12:53Speaker 7: it's more pad from the tape taped up hands.
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: Oh got you. I'm excited Tomorrow night, eight o'clock on
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: Netflix on Netflix. All right, all right, Junior, thank you.
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: We can't walk his ass out.
- 1:13:12Speaker 7: Even though I like Jake Paul and what he's done,
- 1:13:15Speaker 7: I hope he put his ass to sleep.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: That's what Fike. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: A woman needs some advice, Steve. She says there's money
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: involved and she doesn't have a lot for her family vacation,
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: so she needs your advice. Right after this, you're listening
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show Cassandra on Facebook rights.
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: My siblings are planning a big family vacation with our parents,
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: and they're asking me to chip in for it. The
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: problem is they've been saving up for this for years,
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: and I hadn't been planning and going. But they're making
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: me feel guilty for not contributing. It's a lot of
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: money that I'd rather use on things that matter to me,
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: but I don't want to look selfish. How do I
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: tell them I'm not interested in helping to fund the
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: trip without causing a family feud.
- 1:14:03Speaker 7: Well, you don't tell them you're not interested in helping
- 1:14:06Speaker 7: fund the family vacation. You tell them you can't afford
- 1:14:09Speaker 7: the family vacation. See there's a difference. You got to
- 1:14:14Speaker 7: fix your wording. I don't want to help fund it.
- 1:14:19Speaker 7: I need other things. Just say hey, look, I'm sorry, y'all.
- 1:14:22Speaker 7: I just can't afford it. Too much stuff has come up.
- 1:14:26Speaker 7: I got this pending, that pending, and if I spend
- 1:14:28Speaker 7: this money on vacation, I'm gonna be in a world
- 1:14:30Speaker 7: of trouble.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: So forgive me, but I can't.
- 1:14:33Speaker 7: I just need some help if I'm going, and I
- 1:14:35Speaker 7: don't even think I'm gonna be able to go that
- 1:14:38Speaker 7: all I want to go, but I just can't.
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: It don't look like I'm gonna be able to go.
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: She doesn't like her family very much. Your family vacation
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: with her parents? Wow? Okay, well we have time for
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: another one, Steve. This is from Kevin on Steve Harvey FM.
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: Kevin says, this question is a sad one, but my
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: wife and I are beefing about how to handle it
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: while she gets on her feet after graduating from college.
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: Her twenty three year old daughter is living with us
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: and she has a pet cat. Yesterday she went off
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: on a seven day trip with some girlfriends, and today
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: her beloved cat passed away. I think we should tell her,
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: but my wife doesn't want to because she thinks it'll
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: ruin her trip. She's even suggested just burying it and
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: telling her that it ran away. I think I feel
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: like she's an adult and she can handle it. What's
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: the best way to deal with this? How would you say?
- 1:15:32Speaker 13: Is?
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: See, I don't know.
- 1:15:35Speaker 7: You know a lot of people take their pets real serious,
- 1:15:37Speaker 7: so you got to handle this kind of ginglement.
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: I think the truth, even though I like the lie
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: the cat ran off.
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: I like wife wants to tell. The wife wants to,
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: but I.
- 1:15:50Speaker 7: Think it's best in this people have to learn, you know,
- 1:15:53Speaker 7: this is life, it happens. I think you should tell
- 1:15:56Speaker 7: the truth that the cat died and.
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: This was number then how they care?
- 1:16:01Speaker 7: This was number nine obviously, because this one, this is
- 1:16:06Speaker 7: pretty final. He just sucked up eight of them, and
- 1:16:10Speaker 7: I think this was not. And obviously we didn't know
- 1:16:12Speaker 7: about the other eight, because this is it. Your cat
- 1:16:16Speaker 7: is dead.
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: This was number nine.
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: Obviously, that's how your dog.
- 1:16:22Speaker 7: Yeah, because I'm you know, in case, we need to
- 1:16:25Speaker 7: put some humor in it. I don't like cats, no
- 1:16:33Speaker 7: damn way. So that's really the best.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: I could do. Advice. They asked specifically for your advice,
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: So why.
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: Would you ask somebody that don't care about cats.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: He's supposed to know that.
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: The guy that wrote the letter, he was okay, would
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: his dilimma?
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: What's his real dilimma? He wants it's him and his wife.
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: His wife wants to tell her that ran away the john.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: Your daughter lost the cat, but the daughter went on vacation.
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: And when she went on vacation, okay, the cat died.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: The daughter but she's twenty three, she's fall.
- 1:17:10Speaker 7: Man, you gotta tell a baby, your baby, baby Whiskers,
- 1:17:15Speaker 7: it's gone.
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: But she's on vacation. They don't want to tell her
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: while she's on vacation. No, they think it'll ruin her trip.
- 1:17:23Speaker 7: It will wait till she come back, telling her name,
- 1:17:26Speaker 7: bringing the cat back, thinking, wait, wait until she come
- 1:17:31Speaker 7: home down.
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: No, No, this is what you do, wait till your
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: daughter come home. So, how was the trip?
- 1:17:38Speaker 7: Mama had a good time. We was in the water,
- 1:17:40Speaker 7: we was splashing, we were playing it. We had a
- 1:17:42Speaker 7: good phone, and everything differ. And then don't don't say
- 1:17:46Speaker 7: nothing and just and then wait till her because she
- 1:17:49Speaker 7: gonna say, Mama, where is Whiskers?
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: And just go, well, baby, we didn't want to call you.
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: We didn't want to call you.
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: You are the worst.
- 1:18:02Speaker 7: And he had just opened up your iPhone and show
- 1:18:05Speaker 7: him where you found whiskers.

- 1:24:40Speaker 1: it's almost Friday. O. Yee mm hmm. You got a
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: good closing forest.
- 1:24:46Speaker 7: Hey, let me do this right here. Let me say
- 1:24:48Speaker 7: this to people as my clothing remarks. I want everybody
- 1:24:52Speaker 7: out there that think about this. Whatever you're dreaming about,
- 1:24:58Speaker 7: whatever God has placed in your ma imagination, whatever your
- 1:25:02Speaker 7: hopes aspirations are, I want you to think about this.
- 1:25:08Speaker 7: Today is the perfect day to start right now. It
- 1:25:15Speaker 7: is the one thing that you have in your life,
- 1:25:18Speaker 7: and that is this moment right here. This moment was
- 1:25:25Speaker 7: granted and gifted to you by God.
- 1:25:28Speaker 8: Start.
- 1:25:29Speaker 7: Start thinking about your moments that you're blessed with. Start
- 1:25:33Speaker 7: think about the time you've been allocated. Start thinking about
- 1:25:38Speaker 7: all these moments that God gives you with. What are
- 1:25:42Speaker 7: you doing with it?
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: Well? Start?
- 1:25:47Speaker 7: If God has placed it in your imagination, that is
- 1:25:50Speaker 7: the life God has for you. God places your life
- 1:25:54Speaker 7: in your imagination. Albert Einstein said, imagination is everything. It's
- 1:26:01Speaker 7: the preview to life's coming attractions.
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: You know what that means.
- 1:26:06Speaker 7: That means everything you see in this world came from
- 1:26:09Speaker 7: somebody's imagination.
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: Everything.
- 1:26:14Speaker 7: If you have something in your imagination. I want you
- 1:26:19Speaker 7: to understand something clearly. This is God showing you a
- 1:26:24Speaker 7: preview of a coming attraction he has for you. That's
- 1:26:29Speaker 7: what your imagination is. It is not hocus pocus. It
- 1:26:33Speaker 7: is not some of some random thoughts that go by.
- 1:26:37Speaker 7: God places things in your imagination to show you a
- 1:26:42Speaker 7: preview of a coming attraction he has for you. Why
- 1:26:45Speaker 7: is it that you keep dreaming of climbing the corporate ladder?
- 1:26:50Speaker 7: Why do you keep seeing yourself as a supervisor. Why
- 1:26:54Speaker 7: do you keep seeing yourself owning a business. Why do
- 1:26:57Speaker 7: you keep seeing yourself driving a better Why do you
- 1:27:01Speaker 7: see yourself with a second home. Why do you imagine
- 1:27:04Speaker 7: yourself running a corporation. Why do you imagine yourself finally
- 1:27:10Speaker 7: doing the thing that makes you happy? Why do you
- 1:27:13Speaker 7: keep imagining having more money?
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: Why have you dreamed.
- 1:27:19Speaker 2: Repeated me about what it would be like to be
- 1:27:22Speaker 2: wealthy or rich?
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: Do you know why?
- 1:27:24Speaker 3: That is?
- 1:27:25Speaker 7: Because that is the life that God has for you,
- 1:27:29Speaker 7: and he places it in your mind in the form
- 1:27:33Speaker 7: of imagination. Disney was built on imagination. Out of space.
- 1:27:43Speaker 7: Science is built on imagination. Nasau was built on imagination.
- 1:27:50Speaker 7: Somebody imagine this the tallest build in the world came
- 1:27:55Speaker 7: from somebody's imagination.
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: Now look at this world we live here.
- 1:28:03Speaker 7: Who has ever thought of anything greater than planet Earth,
- 1:28:09Speaker 7: the stars, the galaxy, the universe? Who made Niagara Falls?
- 1:28:15Speaker 7: Who made Victoria Falls? Who made the Last Quarter? Who
- 1:28:19Speaker 7: made the deserts? Who made the Mohave, Who made the
- 1:28:23Speaker 7: Grand Canyon? Who did that? Who made the glaciers?
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: Who did that? Man? Can you imagine? Who created every
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: bird you see?
- 1:28:36Speaker 7: Do you know the imagination that God has to creators
- 1:28:40Speaker 7: wonders that we see? Imagination is everything. It's the preview
- 1:28:47Speaker 7: to life's coming attraction. Stop sitting in your life and
- 1:28:52Speaker 7: not pay attention to your imagination and get started today.
- 1:29:01Speaker 7: Somebody say, Steve, you know, look, I've been wearing this
- 1:29:03Speaker 7: hoop thing. I went and bought one of them hoop things. Right,
- 1:29:06Speaker 7: It's a whoop that you wear on your wrist and
- 1:29:08Speaker 7: it helps you determine your sleep pattern and how much
- 1:29:12Speaker 7: recovery time you need, and tells you every night how
- 1:29:15Speaker 7: much sleep you need and mine I always say you
- 1:29:18Speaker 7: ain't get enough sleep. It'd always say that according to
- 1:29:21Speaker 7: my whoop, I'm a walking piece of trash right now,
- 1:29:25Speaker 7: according to my whoop, I got to go. When I
- 1:29:27Speaker 7: go to bed tonight, I got to sleep fourteen hours
- 1:29:30Speaker 7: because I'm in a sleep deficity according to my whoop.
- 1:29:34Speaker 2: But I feel absolutely wonderful.
- 1:29:36Speaker 7: And you know why I feel wonderful because I've discovered
- 1:29:39Speaker 7: something about sleep. When I sleep, I dream. But in
- 1:29:45Speaker 7: order to make them dreams come true, I got to
- 1:29:48Speaker 7: wake up and go to work. So once I have
- 1:29:52Speaker 7: the dream, why am I steady layering here sleeping? It's
