Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Desperate DOJ comes after Trump AGAIN w New Election Interference Tactic

- 0:01Speaker 1: Donald Trump in the polls has actually gone up a
- 0:04Speaker 1: little bit.
- 0:05Speaker 2: What does that mean.
- 0:06Speaker 1: It means if the election was today, there's a better
- 0:09Speaker 1: chance that he wins than Kamala Harris. But we all
- 0:13Speaker 1: know the election isn't today. It's a little more than
- 0:16Speaker 1: a month from now, and so Democrats are trying to
- 0:20Speaker 1: figure out what do we do to get rid of
- 0:23Speaker 1: this possible victory for Donald Trump and insert lawfair. Yet again,
- 0:29Speaker 1: a desperate Department of Justice, clinging to power, has come
- 0:33Speaker 1: out with another attack on Donald Trump. The judge has
- 0:39Speaker 1: released Jack Smith's latest filing in the Trump election interference case.
- 0:46Speaker 1: This is simple lawfair and is a lawfair revival that
- 0:50Speaker 1: has come on the hills of vance trouncing Walton.
- 0:54Speaker 2: The VP debate.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Now, you may ask yourself, and we've talked about it here,
- 0:58Speaker 1: did the VP debate actually matter? Does it have a
- 1:03Speaker 1: chance to influence people? Well, here's what we know about
- 1:06Speaker 1: the number of people that watched more than forty three
- 1:10Speaker 1: million people watched Tuesday's vice presidential debate. That concerns Democrats
- 1:17Speaker 1: because you saw a very likable and a guy that
- 1:21Speaker 1: seemed to connect with a lot of Americans in the
- 1:23Speaker 1: name of JD Vance.
- 1:25Speaker 2: They are not happy about this.
- 1:27Speaker 1: This is the forty three point one five million viewers
- 1:30Speaker 1: across the fifteen networks that were running this debate. Let
- 1:35Speaker 1: me also say this, the debate was the fourth least
- 1:38Speaker 1: watched of the twelve vice presidential debates throughout the presidential cycle,
- 1:44Speaker 1: to put it in perspective. But with that being said,
- 1:47Speaker 1: it is a large number in general, especially knowing how
- 1:51Speaker 1: many clips then are watched online and go viral afterwards. Now,
- 1:56Speaker 1: the four big broadcast networks and then throw in DNN,
- 2:00Speaker 1: Fox News, and MSNBC accounted for about thirty eight million
- 2:05Speaker 1: of the total viewers. What does that mean. It means
- 2:09Speaker 1: that the president of the United States of America right now,
- 2:12Speaker 1: Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are very concerned about where
- 2:16Speaker 1: this election is trending, which brings us back to the
- 2:19Speaker 1: lawfare that is now coming out of right nowhere, right
- 2:24Speaker 1: and just oh, all of a sudden, this is just
- 2:26Speaker 1: going to happen, and the timing of this is perfect.
- 2:29Speaker 1: What's even funnier about the report is it's clearly not
- 2:33Speaker 1: a report that is being done, or a case that's
- 2:36Speaker 1: being done, or the redactions in the court filings that
- 2:40Speaker 1: are being done to stop people from connecting political dots.
- 2:47Speaker 1: On CNN, as they announced this, CNN's Jake Tapper really
- 2:52Speaker 1: just started cracking up at the redactions in this new
- 2:56Speaker 1: DOJ filing. Now, redactions are done so that you don't
- 3:00Speaker 1: know certain information, right, It's to protect witnesses and to
- 3:04Speaker 1: protect others. But this isn't a traditional and or a
- 3:09Speaker 1: normal indictment.
- 3:12Speaker 2: This is lawfair. It's warfare.
- 3:14Speaker 1: It's to take out Donald Trump and anyone else around
- 3:17Speaker 1: him who the Left doesn't like. And they put these
- 3:21Speaker 1: reactions in there. But these reactions are just a joke.
- 3:26Speaker 1: They want you to know who they believe is involved
- 3:29Speaker 1: in a grand conspiracy with Donald Trump, so you can
- 3:33Speaker 1: slander all the people that are around him. I want
- 3:36Speaker 1: you to listen carefully to exactly what Jake Tapper had
- 3:40Speaker 1: to say about these reactions, because it is hilarious and
- 3:44Speaker 1: even he's laughing at it, going this isn't normal. This
- 3:48Speaker 1: is clearly being done on purpose so that you can
- 3:51Speaker 1: connect dots and figure out everybody that they want you
- 3:53Speaker 1: to hate Donald Trump and all of his associates. Before
- 3:57Speaker 1: I play that for you, though, I want to tell
- 3:59Speaker 1: you about Amos Square. If you are like me and
- 4:02Speaker 1: you love being able to shoot, and you want to
- 4:04Speaker 1: make sure you never are without AMO, then you've got
- 4:07Speaker 1: to know about Amo Squared. They ensure that you have
- 4:11Speaker 1: AMMO when you need it. It is an automated approach
- 4:14Speaker 1: to purchasing AMMO on any budget. It's simple how it works,
- 4:18Speaker 1: and this is why I use Ammo Squared. You pick
- 4:21Speaker 1: your calibers, you set your budget, you select a shipping trigger,
- 4:26Speaker 1: and that's it. Your AMMO grows over time, and it's
- 4:29Speaker 1: also stored for free as it builds up, and then
- 4:33Speaker 1: you ship it with a click of a button or
- 4:35Speaker 1: automatically on your schedule. Now, unlike a traditional subscription service,
- 4:40Speaker 1: Ammo Squared is a place where you are not forced
- 4:43Speaker 1: into a set budget or a monthly shipment. You decide
- 4:47Speaker 1: your budget, you schedule when you went your ammo. Amo
- 4:50Speaker 1: Squared offers nearly seventy different caliber options, and each shipment
- 4:55Speaker 1: contains a carefully curated mix of factory new ammunition. It's
- 5:00Speaker 1: budget friendly and you can change it at any time.
- 5:03Speaker 1: You can literally buy as little as a few dollars
- 5:05Speaker 1: a month and use dollar costs averaging to your advantage.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Maybe you store up a bunch of AMMO in a
- 5:11Speaker 1: caliber and then that firearm you're board with or you
- 5:14Speaker 1: trade it in or you want a different gun, not
- 5:16Speaker 1: a problem. You can switch one caliber to another with
- 5:20Speaker 1: the click of a button. And what happens if you
- 5:22Speaker 1: invest in AMO like a four oh one K and
- 5:25Speaker 1: then the price of AMO goes through the roof like
- 5:27Speaker 1: it did during COVID, you can sell that AMMO back
- 5:30Speaker 1: and make big bucks. So why don't get yourself some
- 5:34Speaker 1: free Ammo? Yeah, sign up an ammosquared dot com slash
- 5:37Speaker 1: bed to day to get.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Free AMMO in your account.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Ammosquared dot com slash ben and get free AMMO in
- 5:46Speaker 1: your account today. There's no minimum to buy, no memberships,
- 5:51Speaker 1: no extra fees. You'll love ammosquared dot com slush bend
- 5:55Speaker 1: and get free AMO in your account today. All right,
- 5:57Speaker 1: listen to Jake Tapper cracking up is he's describing what
- 6:02Speaker 1: is nothing more than a hit piece on Donald Trump
- 6:05Speaker 1: and his associates when they try to redact information so
- 6:09Speaker 1: you won't know who they're talking about, when they clearly
- 6:11Speaker 1: want you to know exactly who they are talking about
- 6:14Speaker 1: in the Trump world.
- 6:17Speaker 3: So, Paul, let me just ask you about some of
- 6:19Speaker 3: these reactions because again I'm a lay person, I'm not
- 6:23Speaker 3: a lawyer like yourself and the wise people involved in
- 6:26Speaker 3: this case, but they don't really make a whole lot
- 6:28Speaker 3: of sense to me. For example, P one is quite
- 6:31Speaker 3: obviously Steve Bannon just to read, and this is page seven,
- 6:36Speaker 3: so I haven't really gotten very.
- 6:37Speaker 4: Far in it.
- 6:38Speaker 3: But by October twenty twenty, P One, a private political
- 6:41Speaker 3: advisor who had worked for the defendant's twenty sixteen presidential campaign,
- 6:45Speaker 3: began to assist with the defendants reelection later effort. Three
- 6:48Speaker 3: days before election day, p One described the defendant's plan
- 6:51Speaker 3: to a private gathering of supporters. Quote and what Trump's
- 6:54Speaker 3: going to do is just declare victory. Right, He's going
- 6:56Speaker 3: to declare victory. That doesn't mean he's the winner. He's
- 6:58Speaker 3: just going to say he's the winner.
- 7:00Speaker 5: Quote.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Now that quote exists on video, we know it's Steve Bannon.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Why even redact it?
- 7:07Speaker 6: So here you do see redactions, mostly of specific names
- 7:10Speaker 6: of witnesses. Again, this is highly unusual to release the
- 7:13Speaker 6: kind of evidence that you have uncovered any criminal investigation,
- 7:17Speaker 6: any filing like this that is made public.
- 7:19Speaker 1: So, by the way, it is unusual unless you're trying
- 7:22Speaker 1: to just come after someone politically, and you've weaponized the
- 7:26Speaker 1: Department of Justice to take out your political opponent. The
- 7:31Speaker 1: reason why Jake Tapper laughed there is they're not trying
- 7:35Speaker 1: to hide who the people are they're wanting to destroy.
- 7:38Speaker 1: They're literally leaving you the crumbs in this indictment, so
- 7:41Speaker 1: you know exactly through googling these exact quotes who it
- 7:46Speaker 1: is that they're talking about.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Here.
- 7:49Speaker 1: They're trying to indict Donald Trump and every one of
- 7:52Speaker 1: his friends that they hate right before the election day
- 7:56Speaker 1: by putting together a basically a fake filing which is
- 8:00Speaker 1: nothing more than a witch hun and a hip piece
- 8:03Speaker 1: on these individuals. And that's why Jake Tapper was laughing.
- 8:08Speaker 1: That's why this lawyer is laughing. Keep listening.
- 8:11Speaker 6: These are the types of redactions. Though, any one who
- 8:14Speaker 6: has covered this case, this investigation, and who's followed this
- 8:17Speaker 6: story we're given a little bit of time, is going
- 8:19Speaker 6: to figure out who most of these people are, because,
- 8:21Speaker 6: as you said, this has been something that's been out
- 8:23Speaker 6: in the open. There's of course the January sixth Committee,
- 8:26Speaker 6: They've been other cases related to this, so it's going
- 8:28Speaker 6: to be pretty easy to figure out who said what.
- 8:30Speaker 6: But the court here making some attempt to protect the
- 8:33Speaker 6: identities of officials in this.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Case, by the way, I will by they say they're
- 8:37Speaker 1: making some attempt to try to protect the identities of
- 8:40Speaker 1: these people, know they're not. They deliberately gave quotes that
- 8:44Speaker 1: you could google and the quote would go directly back
- 8:46Speaker 1: to the person that they're trying that they claim they're
- 8:49Speaker 1: trying to protect in the court filing, which is absurd.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Keep listening is a laugh about this because they're laughing
- 8:55Speaker 1: at it. But they also understand why the DOJ did this,
- 8:58Speaker 1: which makes even funnier. It's warfare, it's law fair, and
- 9:02Speaker 1: they hate Trump and everybody around them.
- 9:04Speaker 2: So let's just screw.
- 9:05Speaker 6: Them all witnesses, right, because these were people who either
- 9:08Speaker 6: testified before the grand jury or spoke to investigators. I
- 9:12Speaker 6: just I want to underscore this is an extraordinary thing
- 9:14Speaker 6: to get a filing like this, and this is part
- 9:16Speaker 6: of the court's efforts to try to protect those witnesses.
- 9:19Speaker 6: But like you said, you only got to paid seven
- 9:21Speaker 6: and you already knew who one of the witnesses was.
- 9:23Speaker 3: Well, for anybody at home who's doing this, that kind
- 9:26Speaker 3: of like a bingo game page eighteen, it refers to
- 9:28Speaker 3: Georgia Governor P seventeen. I believe that's probably Brian Kamp.
- 9:32Speaker 3: I'm no master strategist here, but I mean it would
- 9:37Speaker 3: that be your reading as well.
- 9:38Speaker 6: Yes, I think this is an easy mad libs if
- 9:40Speaker 6: you look at it that way. And again, what we're
- 9:42Speaker 6: looking for specifically is any new evidence things that we
- 9:45Speaker 6: haven't actually heard before, specifically new evidence from former Vice
- 9:49Speaker 6: President Mike Pence.
- 9:52Speaker 1: I mean they're telling you every name because when they
- 9:57Speaker 1: made the filing this was not to keep at private.
- 10:00Speaker 1: They're like, oh, we'd redacted it, but you guys figured
- 10:03Speaker 1: it out.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Good job.
- 10:03Speaker 1: No, they're handing you the quote to then Google to
- 10:07Speaker 1: then make sure you know exactly who they're talking about.
- 10:10Speaker 1: This is how corrupt the Department of Justice, Jack Smith,
- 10:14Speaker 1: Kamala Harris, Joe Biden are to try to take out
- 10:17Speaker 1: Donald Trump because apparently the last two assassins didn't do it,
- 10:21Speaker 1: so now they're going back to lawfair here and it's
- 10:24Speaker 1: pure communism, that is what this is. So if you
- 10:32Speaker 1: look at this game plan, it's like, all right, we're
- 10:34Speaker 1: thirty plus days out from election day.
- 10:38Speaker 2: We need to hit Donald Trump hard.
- 10:40Speaker 1: He is stabilized in the polls and Kamala Harris has
- 10:43Speaker 1: come down a little bit. We need to go back
- 10:46Speaker 1: to lawfair because that always seems to work. We tell
- 10:49Speaker 1: everybody he's this evil guy, and Jack Smith's like, hey,
- 10:53Speaker 1: I got this. We got to protect our corruption at
- 10:56Speaker 1: the Department of Justice. So the wash DCUs District Judge
- 11:02Speaker 1: unsealed the Special Council Jacksmith's latest motion and is in
- 11:07Speaker 1: his salvage case against Trump for interference in the twenty
- 11:10Speaker 1: twenty election. I can't believe we're having this conversation, but
- 11:12Speaker 1: here we are. And they released of this quote redacted
- 11:18Speaker 1: motion filed last week follows Trump's surge and swing state
- 11:22Speaker 1: polls and comes the day after Vance just shined in
- 11:26Speaker 1: the VP to debate. That is why they decided to
- 11:30Speaker 1: do this now now. Under a local criminal rule forty
- 11:34Speaker 1: seven e okay of the US District Court for the
- 11:36Speaker 1: District of Columbia, motions of this type are limited okay
- 11:41Speaker 1: to forty five pages. That, by the way, doesn't even apply, apparently,
- 11:47Speaker 1: because the judge allowed Smith to file a mammoth one
- 11:54Speaker 1: hundred and sixty five page motion, which is far outside
- 12:00Speaker 1: of the forty five pages, which is normally allowed. Again,
- 12:05Speaker 1: this is how you know this is corruption. You might
- 12:08Speaker 1: as well just call this motion the Steele dossier. We're
- 12:11Speaker 1: going to just bring up a bunch of random crap
- 12:13Speaker 1: right before the election, and we're going to try to
- 12:16Speaker 1: use it to our advantage to say, see, Donald Trump's
- 12:18Speaker 1: the worst person in the world, and we need to
- 12:21Speaker 1: remind you of that before election day. And so here
- 12:23Speaker 1: you go. Now we're going to remind you right now,
- 12:26Speaker 1: that's what this is. This is this Steele dossier two
- 12:29Speaker 1: point zero, but it's on the letterhead of an official
- 12:32Speaker 1: judge and a court in the District of Columbia, so
- 12:35Speaker 1: it's a lot more official, right than the Steele dossier
- 12:38Speaker 1: that worked last time. So well, so here's one hundred
- 12:41Speaker 1: and sixty five pages that we are going to release
- 12:46Speaker 1: to you.
- 12:47Speaker 2: And in these one hundred and.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Sixty five pages, we're going to throw out a bunch
- 12:52Speaker 1: of conspiracy theories and attack Donald Trump so that he'll
- 12:58Speaker 1: have a really, really hard time in the last thirty
- 13:02Speaker 1: thirty five days. And the media can pick up on this,
- 13:05Speaker 1: and that is exactly what happened.
- 13:07Speaker 2: It's almost like there's a.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Grand conspiracy between the state sponsored media and Biden and
- 13:13Speaker 1: Harris and this White House and the Department of Justice
- 13:15Speaker 1: and the FBI to conspire together to try to hurt
- 13:19Speaker 1: their political opponent, who so far they haven't been able
- 13:22Speaker 1: to murder him. And so now they're like, all right, well,
- 13:25Speaker 1: we got to go back to law fair because that's
- 13:27Speaker 1: what we did before, and you know, the bullets had
- 13:30Speaker 1: hit him, and so we'll just go back to the
- 13:32Speaker 1: law fair.
- 13:33Speaker 2: Now.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Smith's motion included some egregious, one sided allegations that turned,
- 13:42Speaker 1: by the way, on Trump's quote state of mind, repeating
- 13:47Speaker 1: that Trump's claims regarding the election were knowingly false and deceitful,
- 13:52Speaker 1: without allowing the possibility that actually Donald Trump at the
- 13:56Speaker 1: time believed what he was saying, had reason to believe
- 14:01Speaker 1: what he was saying because of those around him and
- 14:03Speaker 1: lawyers and others that were talking about corruption. Now, you
- 14:07Speaker 1: can debate that all you want in a court of law,
- 14:11Speaker 1: but in this filing they're basically saying Donald Trump is
- 14:15Speaker 1: a criminal because Donald Trump believes something that we have
- 14:20Speaker 1: decided is not true. Now, let's also put in perspective
- 14:23Speaker 1: for you, and let me remind you, the same people
- 14:27Speaker 1: that are telling you this are the same people that
- 14:29Speaker 1: told you that the Stele dossier was real and authentic,
- 14:34Speaker 1: even though they'd already classified as user generated, right, they
- 14:38Speaker 1: knew that it was provided and paid for by the
- 14:41Speaker 1: Democratic National Committee in Hillary Clinton's campaign. And these are
- 14:45Speaker 1: the same people that also lied to you and told
- 14:49Speaker 1: you that the Hunter Biden laptop was not real and
- 14:52Speaker 1: that that was somehow Russian disinformation. So they want me
- 14:59Speaker 1: to now believe, in a one hundred and sixty five
- 15:03Speaker 1: page report that's supposed to be no more than forty
- 15:06Speaker 1: five pages, that Donald Trump is the worst person in
- 15:10Speaker 1: the world, and that Donald Trump deserves to not be
- 15:14Speaker 1: the president but go to jail and be a felon
- 15:20Speaker 1: and have his right to even vote taken away from him. Now,
- 15:24Speaker 1: Donald Trump has emphatically denied these charges coming from Smith,
- 15:28Speaker 1: and obviously I understand why, and many commentators profess that
- 15:33Speaker 1: Trump since he believed that he would have won if
- 15:37Speaker 1: all the relevant laws were faithfully enforced. And by the way,
- 15:41Speaker 1: there's nothing conspiratorial about believing that with it, especially at
- 15:45Speaker 1: the time, like there's nothing wrong with that. So what
- 15:49Speaker 1: do the Democrats do? The Democrats come out with one
- 15:52Speaker 1: hundred and sixty five page document. It is unusual. It
- 15:56Speaker 1: is outside the norm. It is far outside the number
- 16:00Speaker 1: of pages you're supposed to file. And then you time
- 16:04Speaker 1: it at the exact moment when Kamala Harris is dropping
- 16:08Speaker 1: the polls and JD Vance had a very big VP
- 16:13Speaker 1: debate by the way, that Kamala Harris released knowingly thousands
- 16:18Speaker 1: and thousands of rapists and murderers into America that they
- 16:24Speaker 1: knew were rapists and murderers that were convicted rapists and
- 16:28Speaker 1: murderers when they crossed our southern border when we caught them. Now,
- 16:33Speaker 1: this judge, by the way, and if you want to
- 16:35Speaker 1: know how corrupt the judge is here, this is the
- 16:37Speaker 1: entire government standing up to Donald Trump going against him, saying, yeah,
- 16:42Speaker 1: we don't want you back here, and we are afraid
- 16:45Speaker 1: that you're gonna, you know, blow everything up in the
- 16:48Speaker 1: corruption of this communist government that we've set up and
- 16:52Speaker 1: the power that we have set up at the CIA
- 16:55Speaker 1: and the FBI and the DOJ.
- 16:57Speaker 2: And so this judge right could have kept the.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Motion under seal until after the election, all one hundred
- 17:07Speaker 1: and sixty plus pages.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Guess what the judge.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Said, No, No, because I need influence the election. I
- 17:15Speaker 1: want to make sure, Donald Trump has never sworn in again.
- 17:19Speaker 1: So instead, this activist district judge in Washington, DC released
- 17:27Speaker 1: a quote highly redacted motion that appears to have redacted
- 17:31Speaker 1: little other than names and the names, which goes back
- 17:36Speaker 1: to what I played for you on CNN and Jake
- 17:38Speaker 1: Tapper earlier that they redacted. It's a joke, you know,
- 17:42Speaker 1: and you can figure out who every single person is.
- 17:45Speaker 1: In fact, as I was reading this document when it
- 17:48Speaker 1: came out, one of the texts I sent, I'm going
- 17:51Speaker 1: to read it to you verbatim. And I sent this
- 17:53Speaker 1: to a lawyer friend of mine and I said, is
- 17:55Speaker 1: redaction supposed to be to protect people? And he responded
- 17:59Speaker 1: with yes, unless your name is Donald Trump or you
- 18:03Speaker 1: worked with or around Donald Trump, that's the truth. Like
- 18:09Speaker 1: he's not lying. And I texted another friend that's a lawyer.
- 18:13Speaker 1: I said, Okay, explain this to me. What is the
- 18:16Speaker 1: point of a reaction if what the name that you're
- 18:19Speaker 1: redacting is connected directly verbatim to the as I described it,
- 18:26Speaker 1: to the actual blanking. I was mad, I didn't about
- 18:31Speaker 1: the whole word. I should get a little credit for that, right,
- 18:32Speaker 1: ideas I says, directly connect to the blanking quote that
- 18:38Speaker 1: you can find in the New York Times. The response,
- 18:43Speaker 1: I've never seen anything like this in my twenty four
- 18:46Speaker 1: years as a lawyer. This is all about election interference,
- 18:52Speaker 1: something the Democrats say that they can't stand. They're trying
- 18:56Speaker 1: to interfere with the upcoming election by influencing you, you
- 19:00Speaker 1: and influencing others by saying, here's a bunch of redacted
- 19:04Speaker 1: things that you can figure out. Trump's team, by the way,
- 19:08Speaker 1: argued more redactions were necessary if the judge chose to
- 19:11Speaker 1: release the motion publicly. They also objected the timing, noting
- 19:15Speaker 1: that early voting had already begun, so clearly this is
- 19:18Speaker 1: being done to influence election outcomes, and what did Smith's
- 19:22Speaker 1: team do. They rejected any accusations of political motivation behind
- 19:27Speaker 1: the filing or its timing, saying that despite the timing
- 19:31Speaker 1: that being so close to the election day quote, they
- 19:34Speaker 1: have no role or interest in partisan politics. If you
- 19:39Speaker 1: believe that, you're an idiot, you can look at the quotes.
- 19:44Speaker 1: You can look at who they've voted for. You can
- 19:47Speaker 1: look at the party where they gained their power. You
- 19:50Speaker 1: can look at Jack Smith and all of his filings.
- 19:53Speaker 1: If there's anything I'm sure of it's that he's that
- 19:56Speaker 1: he hates Donald Trump and he wants to put him
- 19:59Speaker 1: in jail, and he also wants to make sure that
- 20:01Speaker 1: Donald Trump never becomes president, and he wants to make
- 20:04Speaker 1: sure that Donald Trump is persecuted for his beliefs because
- 20:09Speaker 1: this is what communists and socialists do each and every
- 20:15Speaker 1: single day.
- 20:18Speaker 4: All right.
- 20:18Speaker 1: I want to move to another issue that is really
- 20:21Speaker 1: important right now, and is the fallout from something that jd.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Vance said that the left is really upset about. And
- 20:28Speaker 1: he said, and they were trying to turn into like, oh,
- 20:30Speaker 1: you're a racist because he said, well, you let twenty
- 20:33Speaker 1: million American or legal immigrants come into America. What the
- 20:37Speaker 1: hell do you think was going to happen? We're going
- 20:38Speaker 1: to have higher home prices. And they immediately were like,
- 20:42Speaker 1: that's not true, that's not true. Right, it is true.
- 20:46Speaker 1: We know it's true.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Now.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Tim Waltz is out there saying in these one on
- 20:49Speaker 1: one interviews, Oh, we're going to make housing more affordable
- 20:51Speaker 1: again without a plan. But he keeps saying it over
- 20:54Speaker 1: and over again. Apparently everybody believes him.
- 20:56Speaker 4: We're here in Ashville. This is one area of the
- 20:58Speaker 4: state where we've seen housing.
- 21:00Speaker 6: Prices skyrocket here, there's very little affordable housing.
- 21:04Speaker 4: It's the story you see time and again. How do
- 21:06Speaker 4: you think your plan can help?
- 21:08Speaker 7: Well, first of all, the Vice President's plan starts by
- 21:11Speaker 7: that this this shortage of housing units in general is
- 21:15Speaker 7: three million new units. And she understands this is making
- 21:17Speaker 7: sure that we're not seeing banks by these things up
- 21:19Speaker 7: keep money inventory, and then that down payment assistance for me.
- 21:22Speaker 4: I use the GI bill.
- 21:23Speaker 7: I think she's starting about making sure you tax credits,
- 21:26Speaker 7: that we're able to make sure people have the money
- 21:28Speaker 7: to go forward.
- 21:29Speaker 2: I love this.
- 21:30Speaker 1: So they say, well, we just seed a bunch more
- 21:33Speaker 1: houses and we're going to give you money to do it, right,
- 21:35Speaker 1: And so then they came out with its plan. They're like,
- 21:37Speaker 1: all right, we're just gonna give you like twenty five
- 21:39Speaker 1: thousand dollars Kamoa Herrison a big, big one on one
- 21:42Speaker 1: exclusive within MSNBC with this type of propaganda, and she said, well,
- 21:48Speaker 1: we're going to housing more affordable, right, and we're gonna
- 21:51Speaker 1: make sure they enough price gouging you. And they blame everybody.
- 21:54Speaker 1: They blame the boogeyman, the evil big banks, the private investors, right,
- 22:00Speaker 1: And so then.
- 22:01Speaker 2: They come out.
- 22:01Speaker 1: They're like, God, we're gonna give you money for houses, right, Like,
- 22:05Speaker 1: we're gonna, we're gonna give you a bunch of cash.
- 22:07Speaker 1: We're gonna give you twenty five thousand highest bidder if
- 22:10Speaker 1: that's what you want, We're gonna, we're gonna, we're gonna
- 22:13Speaker 1: give you, you know, twenty five thousand and and and
- 22:16Speaker 1: that's gonna, you know, fix your problem. Well, every economist
- 22:19Speaker 1: came out like, if you give a twenty five thousand
- 22:21Speaker 1: our check first time home buyers, that's gonna happen. The
- 22:23Speaker 1: price of every home in America is just gonna go up.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Like everybody knows this, it's basic economics. And and you
- 22:31Speaker 1: have this idea now that oh, well, we're just gonna,
- 22:35Speaker 1: you know, randomly build a bunch of houses that the
- 22:38Speaker 1: government's gonna subsidize. And that's somehow going to fix the problem.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Harris is gonna kill housing, is what the experts have said.
- 22:48Speaker 1: They're gonna kill housing.
- 22:50Speaker 2: Now.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Not only are they gonna kill it with they're planned,
- 22:53Speaker 1: but they're killing the American dream of owning a house
- 22:56Speaker 1: because of all the illegal immigrants they've led into this country.
- 22:59Speaker 1: And during the debate, the well that's not true, and
- 23:01Speaker 1: J D Vance wrote back pretty quickly, right to the
- 23:05Speaker 1: biased people he's talking to me, like, hold on a second, Well,
- 23:08Speaker 1: we'll put it up online. We'll stick the facts out there.
- 23:12Speaker 1: If you think that illegal immigrants aren't rising the prices
- 23:15Speaker 1: of home and rent, you're insane. And guess what the
- 23:18Speaker 1: fact show you guessed it. That's exactly what's happening. Let
- 23:22Speaker 1: me tell you real quick about my friends over at
- 23:24Speaker 1: bond Arms. I am a huge advocate for the Second Amendment.
- 23:31Speaker 1: If you know me, you know that without having a
- 23:33Speaker 1: firearm to protect myself, I wouldn't be here right now.
- 23:36Speaker 1: I had to use my firearm to save my life.
- 23:40Speaker 1: And I'm an advocate for our God given Second Amendment rights.
- 23:43Speaker 1: And I'm also an advocate for people caring to protect
- 23:46Speaker 1: and defend themselves. And that's why I want you to
- 23:48Speaker 1: tell you about bond Arms. Bond Arms a thirty year

- 24:50Speaker 1: Tell them I sent you, and again the website get
- 24:52Speaker 1: bondarms dot com. That's get bondarms dot com. So before
- 25:00Speaker 1: I get back to the busted fact check on the
- 25:04Speaker 1: lie that was told during the debate that illegal immigrants
- 25:07Speaker 1: are not causing the prices of housing and rent to
- 25:10Speaker 1: go up, let's just also hammer down on this twenty
- 25:14Speaker 1: five thousand dollars that she just randomly says is like
- 25:18Speaker 1: magic money that she's going to give out to everybody
- 25:20Speaker 1: that wants to buy a house. It's never going to happen,
- 25:23Speaker 1: number one, and number two, it is not going to
- 25:26Speaker 1: lower the price of housing or make housing more affordable,
- 25:28Speaker 1: which is what she's claiming. It's just going to make
- 25:29Speaker 1: the price of every house cup twenty five grand because
- 25:32Speaker 1: everybody knows, well, you got the twenty five grand. The
- 25:34Speaker 1: government just gave it to you, which means the taxpayers
- 25:36Speaker 1: we are subsidizing everybody else's house.
- 25:39Speaker 5: Listen, I want to talk about Harris's got Kamala House's
- 25:43Speaker 5: economic plan. You've got a tweet out there saying that
- 25:46Speaker 5: Harris is either financially illiterate, incompetent, or she believes her
- 25:50Speaker 5: voters are.
- 25:52Speaker 2: You really don't like her plan?
- 25:53Speaker 4: Do your grant?
- 25:56Speaker 8: No, because I know it won't work. Okay, she's going
- 25:58Speaker 8: to kill housing. Okay, I don't know why she's I
- 26:01Speaker 8: guess I understand why she's not giving people like you
- 26:04Speaker 8: a moment to ask her a question. Why would you
- 26:06Speaker 8: want to build or three million homes when you know
- 26:10Speaker 8: your four point two million home short. Why would you
- 26:13Speaker 8: want to give a twenty five thousand dollars first time
- 26:15Speaker 8: tax credit or buyer's credit when you know that's going
- 26:18Speaker 8: to inflate housing? Okay. Margage applications had a spike this week,
- 26:23Speaker 8: and we're still lower than two thousand, two thousand and
- 26:25Speaker 8: eight twenty ten literally the lowest levels in twenty four
- 26:28Speaker 8: years of martgage applications. The housing market is getting slaughtered,
- 26:33Speaker 8: and nobody's talking about it. And if she thinks twenty
- 26:36Speaker 8: five thousand dollars is going to somehow, you know, relieve
- 26:40Speaker 8: the system, she's crazy.
- 26:42Speaker 4: So she's either lying to.
- 26:43Speaker 8: The public or worse, she doesn't know what she's talking
- 26:47Speaker 8: about or her her team does. Now now I know Mark
- 26:50Speaker 8: Cuban's a huge fan of hers. Right now, he's at a
- 26:52Speaker 8: pimpinger like every minute of every day. But and Mark
- 26:57Speaker 8: knows a lot about a lot of things. But housing
- 26:59Speaker 8: is not going to get fixed. Because she promises to
- 27:03Speaker 8: build three million homes, she doesn't even know what it
- 27:05Speaker 8: would cost, how long it would take, who would build them,
- 27:07Speaker 8: who would get the homes. And by the way, it's
- 27:10Speaker 8: six percent interest. You can't afford a loon anyway, because
- 27:14Speaker 8: the interests alone is two thousand dollars a month.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Grant caught on the interest alone is two thousand dollars
- 27:21Speaker 1: a month. So this idea that I'm just going to
- 27:24Speaker 1: hand out twenty five k and it's going to fix
- 27:26Speaker 1: the problem. And you're gonna and you're gonna build three
- 27:28Speaker 1: million homes. Now, in my lifetime, we've never had a
- 27:30Speaker 1: conversation about building three million homes, Like, that's never been
- 27:36Speaker 1: a conversation. And I think the real reason why we've
- 27:42Speaker 1: never had that conversation is because we've never had to
- 27:47Speaker 1: deal with the possibility of being three million homes too short, right, Like,
- 27:53Speaker 1: we've never had to have that conversation. Why are we
- 27:56Speaker 1: even having the conversation. It goes back to what Jdvan said,
- 28:01Speaker 1: and it's the fact that we have a housing crisis
- 28:04Speaker 1: in this country because we have an immigration crisis that
- 28:08Speaker 1: is skyrocket the cost of rent and homes. So called
- 28:12Speaker 1: policy experts quote unquote at the libertarian Kiddo Institute, known
- 28:17Speaker 1: for its defense of open borders, are admitting now that
- 28:20Speaker 1: center JD. Vance is correct when he says immigration increases
- 28:26Speaker 1: increases housing prices for Americans. We don't want to want
- 28:30Speaker 1: to blame immigrants for higher housing prices, but we do
- 28:33Speaker 1: want to blame Kamala Harris for letting in millions of
- 28:35Speaker 1: illegal aliens in this country, which does drive up costs.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Vance said it Tuesday Evening's vice president of Debate, twenty
- 28:43Speaker 1: five million illegal aliens are competing with Americans for houses
- 28:48Speaker 1: for homes, and it's one of the most significant drivers
- 28:52Speaker 1: of home prices in the country. It's why we have
- 28:56Speaker 1: massive increases in home prices and have happened right alongside
- 29:00Speaker 1: massive increases in illegal alien populations under Kamala Harris's leadership. Also,
- 29:06Speaker 1: you want to know where home prices of skyrocket the
- 29:08Speaker 1: most and heavily populated areas where illegal immigrants are living. Yes,
- 29:14Speaker 1: that is the truth. So when JD. Vance said what
- 29:17Speaker 1: he said, he wasn't lying. He was speaking truth to power,
- 29:21Speaker 1: which is exactly why they hated what he said.
- 29:24Speaker 4: Tim just said something that I agree with.
- 29:25Speaker 9: We don't want to blame immigrants for higher housing prices,
- 29:28Speaker 9: but we do want to blame Kamala Harris for letting
- 29:30Speaker 9: in millions of illegal aliens into this country.
- 29:33Speaker 4: Which does drive up cost him.
- 29:36Speaker 9: Twenty five million Illegal aliens competing with Americans for scarce
- 29:40Speaker 9: homes is one of the most significant drivers of home
- 29:43Speaker 9: prices in the country.
- 29:44Speaker 4: It's why we have massive increases in.
- 29:47Speaker 9: Home prices that have happened right alongside massive increases in
- 29:51Speaker 9: illegal alien populations under Kamala Harris's leadership. Now, Tim just
- 29:56Speaker 9: mentioned a bunch of ideas. Now, some of those ideas
- 29:59Speaker 9: I actually think are and some of them I disagree with.
- 30:01Speaker 9: But the most important thing here is Kamala Harris is
- 30:04Speaker 9: not running as a newcomer to politics.
- 30:07Speaker 4: She is the sitting vice president.
- 30:09Speaker 9: If she wants to enact all of these policies to
- 30:12Speaker 9: make housing more affordable, I invite her to use the
- 30:15Speaker 9: office that the American people already gave her, not sit
- 30:18Speaker 9: around in campaign and do nothing while Americans find the
- 30:21Speaker 9: American dream of home ownership completely unaffordable.
- 30:25Speaker 1: One of the reasons why I think this moment was
- 30:27Speaker 1: so effective for him is because if you were listening
- 30:30Speaker 1: and you're looking at buying a house, or you're looking
- 30:33Speaker 1: to rent, or you decided not to buy a house,
- 30:36Speaker 1: is because you understood what he was saying there.
- 30:40Speaker 2: Jade Vance is correct.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Immigration increases housing prices, and that's just the truth. It's
- 30:47Speaker 1: okay to admit that, but the media doesn't want to
- 30:49Speaker 1: talk about that. The intersection of supplying demand determines housing prices,
- 30:54Speaker 1: like all prices.
- 30:55Speaker 2: Quote.
- 30:55Speaker 1: When housing supply curves are upward sloping, increased demand from
- 31:00Speaker 1: immigrants will increase housing prices. Immigrants are people who want
- 31:04Speaker 1: to roof over their heads after all. So when you're
- 31:06Speaker 1: going to the market to rind er buy, does the
- 31:09Speaker 1: market care if you're an illegal or not? The answer
- 31:12Speaker 1: is no, it doesn't matter. Bringing the discussion back to
- 31:17Speaker 1: Springfield and Ohio, where Vans started, housing prices have increased
- 31:21Speaker 1: there as more Haitian migrants have moved in. According to redfin,
- 31:26Speaker 1: the medium sale price of a single family hold sold
- 31:30Speaker 1: there has increased from seventy eight thousand, five hundred dollars
- 31:35Speaker 1: in August of twenty nineteen to one hundred and fifty
- 31:40Speaker 1: eight thousand in August of twenty twenty four. That is
- 31:44Speaker 1: a one hundred and one percent increase in nominal terms.
- 31:49Speaker 1: By the way, the nationwide increase was forty six percent
- 31:53Speaker 1: in nominal terms during the same period. And what happened
- 31:56Speaker 1: during that period a massive influx and ellegal immigrants by
- 32:01Speaker 1: the millions coming across the southern border that has made
- 32:06Speaker 1: renters and first time home buyers worse off than Springfield
- 32:10Speaker 1: and homeowners who are mostly native born quote better off.
- 32:15Speaker 1: At a recent House Oversight Committee hearing, the Center for
- 32:17Speaker 1: Immigration Studies director set his analysis has found that a
- 32:21Speaker 1: five percent point increase in the recent immigrant share of
- 32:27Speaker 1: a metro area's population is associated with a twelve percent
- 32:32Speaker 1: increase in the average US born household rent relative to
- 32:36Speaker 1: their income. What do they note The high levels of
- 32:40Speaker 1: immigration particularly increase rents. Adding this, very large numbers of
- 32:46Speaker 1: people added to the country are significantly impacting housing prices
- 32:52Speaker 1: by driving up demand for rental properties. The Census Bureau
- 32:55Speaker 1: reports of the increase in rents in twenty twenty three
- 32:58Speaker 1: was by far the large just in the past decade.
- 33:01Speaker 1: And what happened during that period of time. We had
- 33:04Speaker 1: the largest increase of the immigrants, illegal immigrants coming across
- 33:08Speaker 1: the southern border. And the fact that the media even
- 33:11Speaker 1: tried to argue with him over this is insane. Make
- 33:15Speaker 1: sure you share this podcast with your family and your friends,
- 33:18Speaker 1: and I'll see you back here tomorrow
