- 0:22Good morning. Welcome to this prayer service
- 0:28that we have the privilege of of joining in on.
- 0:31My name is Pastor Steve, and I'm going to open this up with
- 0:35prayer from Revelation 48. I've always wanted to be up here
- 0:42and talk about the Book of Revelation, but I'll keep my
- 0:45comments to the word of God because we all have our
- 0:48opinions. But I do want to point out that
- 0:52this whole platform and stage and all this ambiance was set up
- 0:57so that we could envision a Star Wars type environment where they
- 1:02go into the farthest reaches of the Galaxy.
- 1:05Well, Lieutenant Sora, on the first day of this this vacation,
- 1:11Bible school, WrestleMania. Thank you, Steve.
- 1:14She stayed at that console and foolishly took us to the
- 1:17furthest ends of the universe, put everybody at risk at Mach 10
- 1:23or warped in, whatever that was, and then they had to fight their
- 1:27way back. Well, that's an imagination.
- 1:32This is real. The apostle John was transported
- 1:37up into the heavens and God opened up the veil to let him
- 1:42see what we will see in the future.
- 1:46So let me read this revelation 4/8 through 11.
- 1:54And the four living creatures, each of them with six wings are
- 1:58are full of eyes all around. And within the day and night
- 2:02they never cease to say, Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God
- 2:09Almighty, who was and is and is to come.
- 2:13And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor
- 2:17and thanks to Him who is seated on the throne, who lives forever
- 2:21and ever, the 24 elders fall down before him who is seated on
- 2:27the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever.
- 2:31They cast their crowns before the throne saying worthy are you
- 2:35our Lord, our Lord and God to receive glory and honor and
- 2:40power for your created all. You created all things and by
- 2:44your will they existed and were created.
- 2:48And here's the interesting part. He created us and we are the
- 2:52only ones he created in his image.
- 2:56So if you would like, as I go through this prayer, you could
- 3:00stand, you could worship. The whole goal is to bring you
- 3:02to the throne where the elders were able to see, where John was
- 3:09able to witness that we will someday witness.
- 3:12So as I pray, feel free to call out to him.
- 3:16Feel free to enjoin me in prayer as I pause.
- 3:20Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty who, who was and is and
- 3:26is to come. And Father, as we stand before
- 3:30you in this sanctuary, yes, many times we call this an
- 3:34auditorium. It's a skit place.
- 3:35But today this is a sanctuary representing the fact that we
- 3:40are before your throne as your people.
- 3:43Oh Lord our God, we gather today not merely to ask, but first to
- 3:49adore. You are the beginning, the
- 3:53Alpha, Omega, and the beginning and the end.
- 3:56You existed before time began, and you will reign when time is
- 4:00no more. You are wholly beyond
- 4:04comprehension, perfect in purity, unmatched in majesty.
- 4:14As the living creatures and elders fall before you, before
- 4:18your throne, so we bow our hearts before you.
- 4:22We echo the song of heaven. Worthy are you, our Lord and
- 4:27God, to receive glory and honour and power.
- 4:30For you created all things, and by Your will they existed and
- 4:35were created. Oh Holy Father, we just
- 4:39recognize the fact that You are the Creator and we are the
- 4:44created. Let Your creation honor you and
- 4:47worship You, and not only that but enlighten you before others.
- 4:53Lord, You are not only powerful, you are personal.
- 4:58You know us, You see us, You search us and understand every
- 5:02thought from afar. And in Psalms 139 you say, you
- 5:08hem me in behind and before, and lay your hand upon me.
- 5:12Such knowledge is too wonderful for me.
- 5:15It is high, I cannot attain it. And again we are in awe of you,
- 5:21Lord, for your Majesty, you are the Sovereign King who set the
- 5:27stars in place, and yet you draw near to us in love and mercy.
- 5:33You are great and greatly to be praised.
- 5:37We exalt you today not for what you give, but for who You are.
- 5:47Lord, it's hard for us to even imagine who You are and what
- 5:52You've given us, but that we do exalt You in humble obedience.
- 5:58We marvel at Your holiness. We stand in awe of Your power.
- 6:03We are overwhelmed by your goodness.
- 6:08Lord, let us let worship rise in this place like instance before
- 6:12your throne. Let every heart here be caught
- 6:16up in wonder and reverence and we and we.
- 6:22And as we prepare for the harvest you're bringing today,
- 6:26remind us you alone are the one who saves, and you are the
- 6:32author of salvation, and you are the Lamb who was slain and the
- 6:38lion who reigns. So we cast our crowns, our
- 6:43pride, our plans, our preferences before you.
- 6:47You are worthy of it. All.
- 6:50Glory and honor and praise belong to you forever and ever.
- 6:57In Jesus holy name we pray, Amen and Amen, Amen.
- 7:07Isn't the Lord faithful man? I am just in awe of this week in
- 7:13particular, Man, we we're broken, we're lost.
- 7:19As a people, especially in this community, you get to see what
- 7:23the schemes of the devil, what the temptations of the world
- 7:26looks like in the lives of our community.
- 7:30And if there is an example of the tangible grace of God, I see
- 7:35it this week. I see so many kids, so many
- 7:38parents, so many friends that come in here broken and lost in
- 7:41the hope of the gospel is preached to their heart when
- 7:46there's nothing left. Money won't do it.
- 7:52Status won't do it. Even relationships won't do it.
- 7:56Jesus enters that space and he says that place in your heart
- 8:02that has kept you up at night, that thing that is missing is
- 8:06me. And although we don't seek and
- 8:08we're the rebel and we want nothing to do with him, He
- 8:11pursues us. He's got long legs.
- 8:14He is a faithful God. So we are going to have a prayer
- 8:18of thankfulness to God's faithfulness today.
- 8:21So if you would pray with me, Lord, our hearts are humbled
- 8:28that we were so far off and that we were not seeking, we were not
- 8:34desiring to find you. Yet you found us.
- 8:37Heavenly Father, we thank you because you are faithful.
- 8:42We praise your name for the mission and the work here at
- 8:45Resurrection Church and that we get to labor with you.
- 8:49Got our prayer this morning for our community, for our children,
- 8:54for the children of this community.
- 8:56And the parents would be that your spirit would be poured out
- 8:58of fresh and that they would experience you.
- 9:01We pray that you would be in every ministry, in every
- 9:04gathering, in every soul who walks through these doors.
- 9:09God, that Your word would go forth in power and would turn
- 9:12hearts of stone to hearts of flesh and let lives be
- 9:17transformed for your glory. God, we thank you for this local
- 9:22community of Resurrection Church.
- 9:23God, we pray that you would strengthen our pastors, our
- 9:26leaders, our volunteers, our laypeople.
- 9:29That you would give us wisdom, vision, endurance to shepherd
- 9:34this community well. That you would unite us in one
- 9:37body, That we would be rooted in love above all else.
- 9:43That we would see you in everything that you're doing.
- 9:45And this church would be a reflection of the light of
- 9:48Christ to our neighborhood. Let this place where your name
- 9:53is honored give you glory. Let your presence be known, your
- 9:58purposes fulfilled. God, we trust in you and you
- 10:01alone. We look forward with expectation
- 10:04for greater things to come. God, we thank you for planting
- 10:08this church specifically, sovereignly in this community
- 10:12that we can love this community well.
- 10:15God, we thank you that you have sustained this church for years,
- 10:20and we thank you for every soul that has been brought through
- 10:22these doors, every life that has been touched by your word, and
- 10:25every act of love and goodness that has flowed through this
- 10:28place. God, we praise you for Wrest
- 10:32Mania, for every child that has walked through these doors.
- 10:46That encountered hope for the first time in their life.
- 10:54They've experienced peace and purpose for the first time in
- 10:58their life. Every seed of truth that you
- 11:02have planted, God, we thank you for every game, every craft,
- 11:09every lesson that was taught and that we see you in all of it.
- 11:15God, we praise you for the volunteers of WrestleMania, the
- 11:17leaders, the families who gave their time, their energy, their
- 11:20resources to serve you and your kingdom's purposes.
- 11:23May you grow them abundantly. And God, we are especially
- 11:28grateful for your faithfulness shown in the lives that were
- 11:31changed. Those who have come to know
- 11:34Jesus and will come to know Jesus here in a few hours.
- 11:38Those who have felt seen and valued for the first time in
- 11:41their life. Those who have found joy in your
- 11:45presence. May those seeds planted continue
- 11:48to grow and bear fruit for your Kingdom.
- 11:52Let this just be the beginning of the great work that you are
- 11:55doing in our community. And God, we lift up the gospel
- 11:59that will be preached. What a burden it is to share the
- 12:04gospel. What a heavyweight.
- 12:07Yet you entrust us with this. And we know, God, that before we
- 12:11ever speak a word, that you are already at work softening
- 12:16hearts, opening minds to receive your truth.
- 12:18And we pray that it would be received.
- 12:21Lord, we praise you for the quiet ways that you have been
- 12:24moving in conversations and circumstances, even in the pain
- 12:28of this community, to draw people closer to yourself.
- 12:31We praise You. Lord, we thank you for every
- 12:35heart that is being made ready to receive.
- 12:38And God, we thank you for the privilege of being a part of
- 12:41your redemptive work. We acknowledge that salvation
- 12:45belongs to you and you alone, and yet you graciously invite us
- 12:50to join in on your mission. Father, lastly, may your Holy
- 12:56Spirit continue to move powerfully in this church in
- 13:01this moment, in the 11:00 service, when all of the
- 13:04families and kids are here, may it move powerfully.
- 13:07Let every word be spoken, be saturated with grace and truth.
- 13:11Let hearts be stirred, eyes open, and life change forever,
- 13:15not because of our efforts, but because of your glory and
- 13:19goodness. And it's in Jesus name we pray.
- 13:22Amen. How y'all doing?
- 13:32We're making it. Yeah.
- 13:34We're doing good. All right, a little, little
- 13:36participation before we move on. Everyone look to your right and
- 13:40tell the person sitting there, man, I'm glad you're here today.
- 13:44Now turn to your left. Turn to your left and say no,
- 13:48I'm glad you're here today. I get the opportunity to lead us
- 13:57in prayer for other churches today for their ministry.
- 14:03How many of you guys have been a part of at least one church?
- 14:081 local church. Just so you know, you're here.
- 14:11So everyone's hand should be raised.
- 14:13Just say more than more than two, More than three.
- 14:19I've been a part of four. You can put your hands down.
- 14:21I've been a part of four local churches and each one of those
- 14:25churches in their unique way, discipled me into the person I
- 14:32am today. The first church I was basically
- 14:36born into my I was born and then my parents took me to church the
- 14:40next day. I think I've been a part of a
- 14:43local church my whole life, but what that church taught me to
- 14:47the age of 5 was church is big and God is real.
- 14:53So the the very first church I was a part of, that's what it
- 14:56taught me. The second church was it taught
- 14:58me God's word is truth and God works all things for the good
- 15:04for those who love the Lord. That's what the second church
- 15:07taught me. Third church taught me is God's
- 15:10love is radical. And those fourth church has
- 15:14taught me God is in control even when the world around us is
- 15:18falling apart. Without those truths impacting
- 15:24me, I don't know where I would be today.
- 15:27And we thank God for all of the local churches and how they're
- 15:32equipping and shaping God's people.
- 15:35So join me in prayer as we lift up other churches around us.
- 15:43And may the Lord make you increase, and it bound in love
- 15:47for one another and for all, as we do for you, so that He may
- 15:52establish your hearts blameless in holiness before God and
- 15:59Father at the coming of the Lord Jesus with all his Saints.
- 16:06And beloved, I pray that all may go well with you, and that you
- 16:11may be in good health as it goes well with your soul.
- 16:15For I rejoice greatly when the brothers came and testified to
- 16:19your truth, as indeed you are walking in the truth.
- 16:23I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are
- 16:28walking in the truth. Father God, Lord, thank you for
- 16:34your system. You know I love systems.
- 16:37I love to understand how things work, God.
- 16:40And the way that your body works is amazing.
- 16:44God, all these churches that are not in competition but are in
- 16:49unity, God, around your word, around your truth, around your,
- 16:54your son, God, we just thank you for those.
- 16:57God, we thank you for working together in unity with other
- 17:03churches. God, we thank you for bodies of
- 17:07believers coming together to making a bigger impact than we
- 17:10could ever make by ourselves. God, or today I want to lift up
- 17:15a church in Yuba City, God Adventure Church.
- 17:18They recently had their largest kid camp ever with 400 kids that
- 17:22came with over 100 that received Christ for the first time.
- 17:27God, God, we thank you for that impact.
- 17:30We thank you for that church and God.
- 17:33Now they're on the missions field. 2 weeks ago they had a
- 17:36kids camp and this week they're in a foreign country.
- 17:38God, thank you for the impact that that church is making in
- 17:43Yuba City and throughout the world.
- 17:45God, God, thank you for Fellowship Baptist Church here
- 17:48in Bakersfield. God, they recently had their
- 17:51kids camp and they're reaching people that are so far from you
- 17:55and they're so different from from who they are.
- 17:58God, But because of your love and the love of Fellowship
- 18:02Baptist Church God, people are meeting Christ for the first
- 18:05time. People from the sick religion
- 18:08God are meeting you for the first time, God, and we thank
- 18:12you for that, Father God. Lord, I just ask you for your
- 18:16blessings on the other churches here in Bakersfield, God for
- 18:22Niles St. Southern First Southern Baptist
- 18:24Church, God, I pray for them as they're struggling.
- 18:26God, I pray for a fresh wind and a fresh fire, God, where they
- 18:31can pursue you, they can go into their community that's so far
- 18:34from you, God, and they can make an impact on Lord, I pray for
- 18:39unity. God is pray for that.
- 18:42All of our churches, all of your churches, God will preach the
- 18:46gospel boldly. God in unity will preach the
- 18:49truth. God in unity that we can be more
- 18:52about what we're for and less about what we're against.
- 18:56God, Lord, I pray for families here in Bakersfield, the lost,
- 19:02the ones that are in the dark places.
- 19:04God, I pray that a local church will reach out.
- 19:08We'll love on them God, and we'll be able to show them the
- 19:11gospel, teach them the gospel, and allow them to receive the
- 19:14gospel. God, Lord, God, I pray that
- 19:17because of the local churches here in Bakersfield, Bakersfield
- 19:22will start to look different, will start to sound different,
- 19:26will start to feel different. We'll start to love, we'll find
- 19:29hope again, we'll find joy again because of local churches
- 19:34preaching the truth, preaching the gospel, and preaching about
- 19:37a good godfather. God, Lord, we thank you for all
- 19:41of these things. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
- 19:48OK guys, this is where I want everybody to stand up.
- 19:52Anybody that can stand up, stand up, roll, roll your shoulders
- 19:56back a little bit and shake out your arms like this, like this.
- 20:02Last week I saw Pastor Daniel doing that.
- 20:04I go, this guy's a psycho man. He's over here getting ready to
- 20:07preach and he's doing this, He's getting all ready.
- 20:09But he's it's like he's going into battle, right?
- 20:13OK, you guys can have a seat. You can have a seat.
- 20:15OK? He's going in about there's a
- 20:16battle for souls, right? It happens all the time.
- 20:21Satan wants them, God wants them.
- 20:24But I just want to tell you. God loves you, the pastors and
- 20:29the elders of Resurrection Church love you.
- 20:32We're called to oversee, to shepherd, to equip Saints and a
- 20:39hyper focus in the last couple years for us has been out of
- 20:43Acts 6/4 is to be devoted to prayer and ministry of the word.
- 20:48Everything that we do is driven by the great commandment, which
- 20:52is to love the Lord our God with all our heart and soul mind to
- 20:55love others and also the Great Commission to go ye there for
- 21:00making disciples of all nations and baptizing them.
- 21:03That's our goal. And we have an incredible
- 21:05opportunity today with people coming into this House of
- 21:09worship that might not normally come and they're going to hear
- 21:14the gospel presented. Maybe it's for the first time.
- 21:17And as Sean was saying, there's that void in their heart.
- 21:20There's something missing. They don't know what it is and
- 21:22they they'll hear today we pray that the Holy Spirit works in
- 21:25their lives and lives are transformed.
- 21:29And it's times like these. I wish I would have written
- 21:32something down right, because I've been thinking about this
- 21:36for a week. But I, I want to pray for broken
- 21:40homes, for hurting families, want to get to that.
- 21:43But it's, it's if you think about your sphere of influence,
- 21:48you think about the people around you.
- 21:50There's a lot of people that you know that are hurting.
- 21:54There's a lot of people that you know, they're part of a broken
- 21:57family. There's a lot of there's a lot
- 22:00of families without dads. But we have a heavenly Father
- 22:03who loves us and has a plan for our lives.
- 22:07And we have the opportunity to to share that good news today.
- 22:12So I want to pray. We're going to go to the
- 22:16Scriptures in Psalm. Father of the fatherless and
- 22:20protector of widows is God. In his holy habitation.
- 22:24God settles the solitary in a home.
- 22:27He leads out the prisoners to prosperity, but the rebellious
- 22:32dwell in a parched land. The thief comes to kill, steal
- 22:39and destroy. Jesus came that we may have life
- 22:43and have it more abundantly or to the full additional
- 22:47scriptures we talked about Isaiah comfort for the broken
- 22:51hearted as well as Psalms 147 talks about broken hearted.
- 22:54Matthew 11/28/30. This is the verse for all of you
- 22:58volunteers this week. Come to me all who are weary.
- 23:03It's been a long week, but there's a payday coming.
- 23:06It's a great day. I just, I think about the single
- 23:09parents struggling to provide and guide for their families,
- 23:12how difficult that is juggling a job, family and everything that
- 23:17goes on in their lives. Think about children from broken
- 23:20or unstable homes and just this sanctuary is truly a place of
- 23:26sanctuary for them this week when they're here, they know
- 23:29they're loved, they're taken care of.
- 23:30Talk about families facing financial hardships.
- 23:34It's, it's happening all around us, right?
- 23:363 generations in the same household.
- 23:39It's a tough time we're in those dealing with addiction, abuse
- 23:43and abandonment. So our fervent prayer, let's go
- 23:47into prayer right now. Our fervent prayer is for you,
- 23:51God, that you would use this day to bring hope and healing to a
- 23:57broken and hurting world to families that are just feel like
- 24:03I I don't know if I can even get through this week through this
- 24:06day, through this hour. Dear Lord, I pray that you just
- 24:10bring them peace, comfort, wisdom, everything they need to
- 24:15have the joy and the peace that comes only from you, that they
- 24:19know that they know that they know that they have peace, joy
- 24:23and everlasting and there's no condemnation for them.
- 24:26We lift this this service up to you later, dear Lord, that you'd
- 24:31lead, guide and direct that you, the Holy Spirit, works in the
- 24:33lives of your people for an incredible harvest.
- 24:37We just love you and praise you and to you goes all the glory
- 24:40for all that we do. We pray these things in Jesus
- 24:43name and for his sake. Amen.
- 24:45Amen. All right, if you are a dad in
- 24:49the room, stand up. Come on.
- 24:55Let me tell you what studies say in our culture right now, if the
- 25:02Father in the home comes to Christ, there is a 91% chance
- 25:07that those kids will follow Christ.
- 25:08Amen. If the dad does not, only one in
- 25:1350 children will follow Christ. You matter, gentlemen.
- 25:20The way you pursue Christ matters.
- 25:24The way you steward your home matters.
- 25:27Your personal confession and repentance and pursuit of Christ
- 25:32matters. In fact, there's not a single
- 25:34factor that is a higher probability that your home will
- 25:38follow Christ other than how you follow Christ.
- 25:40It's not the school you put them in.
- 25:43It's not the church you go to. It's not the youth ministry
- 25:46they're part of. It's how you pursue Christ
- 25:49authentically, both in the private places where you think
- 25:53no one's watching. They are in the home and in the
- 25:56public space. You matter Father God, will you
- 26:01chase these men? Will you protect these men?
- 26:05Will you inspire them? Will you convict them?
- 26:09And will you encourage them and help them to lead while they
- 26:13follow you in Jesus name, Amen. You may sit down in Matthew says
- 26:25this about Jesus. When Jesus saw the crowds, he
- 26:29had compassion for them because they were harassed and helpless
- 26:32like sheep without a shepherd. And then he said to his
- 26:35disciples, the harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are
- 26:40few. Therefore pray earnestly to the
- 26:44Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into His harvest.
- 26:49By one statistic that I read recently, 92% of Kern County is
- 26:53lost, 8% is saved. I'm not talking about who goes
- 26:58to church, I'm talking about who knows Jesus.
- 27:00Because there are people sitting in churches all over this county
- 27:03that don't know Jesus. They know church, they know
- 27:05religion, they know how to put on church clothes, but they
- 27:09don't know Christ personally. 92% you no longer have to go to
- 27:17Romania or Africa to find lost people.
- 27:20Walk out your front door. They're all around us.
- 27:28The harvest is plentiful. This is what Jesus came for.
- 27:33He said this in Luke 19. He said for the Son of Man came
- 27:40to seek and save the lost. Jesus came for people like you
- 27:49and I people who are far from him, people who wanted nothing
- 27:54to do with him, people that never thought of themselves as
- 27:57Christian or maybe thought of themselves as good enough and
- 27:59not needing Christ and he came for us anyways.
- 28:03In fact the Bible says in second Peter the Lord is not slow to
- 28:07fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but he is
- 28:10patient towards you, not wishing that any should perish but that
- 28:14all should reach repentance. I saw someone say recently why
- 28:17doesn't God just remove all of the evil from the world and
- 28:21someone else responded, well it's a good thing he didn't
- 28:24because then he would remove you and I.
- 28:29He is slow to anger. In Romans 1013 through 15 the
- 28:40Bible says this for everyone who calls in the name of the Lord
- 28:45will be saved. How then will they call on him
- 28:48in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in
- 28:51him whom they have not heard? And how are they to hear without
- 28:56someone preaching? And how are they to preach
- 28:59unless they are sent as it is written?
- 29:00How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news.
- 29:02That's what we're going to do today.
- 29:05I'm going to preach the good news.
- 29:09I want you to pray with me today for the salvation of the people
- 29:14that are coming in these doors. In a few moments, that God would
- 29:17soften an open hearts to his message that the presentation of
- 29:21the gospel be clear and articulate, and the Holy Spirit
- 29:28would allow that message to sink in and take root.
- 29:31And that those families would come back and allow themselves
- 29:33to be discipled as part of the community of Christ.
- 29:36Pray with me, Father God, we beg earnestly that you would move
- 29:42mightily in this place today, that people who are far from you
- 29:48would come, that they would hear the message, that they would
- 29:52receive it, they would be implanted God, and that they
- 29:56would return to allow discipleship to occur.
- 29:59That they would join into a community of faith.
- 30:02God that is following you, that is worshipping you.
- 30:07God that is raised from death to life.
- 30:09We desire men and women and kids to be saved, and we can't do it.
- 30:16We are powerless. We are unqualified, we haven't
- 30:23earned it, and we don't deserve it.
- 30:27But God, being rich in mercy, you have lavished upon us every
- 30:34heavenly gift, rich riches upon riches.
- 30:39And Father God, we pray for those coming today that you
- 30:43would save them. We pray to God that you would
- 30:52change the trajectory of homes all over this neighborhood, the
- 30:56dysfunctional home, the single parent home, the home in poverty
- 31:01or in dysfunction or in disarray.
- 31:05God that you would enter these homes and give them hope.
- 31:11By this we know love that He laid down His life for us, and
- 31:16we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.
- 31:19And if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in
- 31:21need, he closes his heart against him.
- 31:23How does God's love abide in him?
- 31:25Little children, let us not love in Word or talk, but in deed and
- 31:29in truth. Jesus name, Amen.
- 31:34All right, will you stand with me?
- 31:34We're going to do a, we're going to close with a little
- 31:36responsive reading. You've got a part to play in
- 31:38this, just like you have a part to play in an hour or so when
- 31:42people start coming in these doors.
- 31:45I'm going to read Psalm 118 and your job, it's very easy, is to
- 31:51say his steadfast love endures forever.
- 31:54Try it once. Go ahead.
- 31:58It's almost like you knew. All right.
- 32:06Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for he is good.
- 32:12Let those who fear the Lord say Out of my distress I called on
- 32:19the Lord, and the Lord answered me and set me free.
- 32:22The Lord is on my side and I will not fear.
- 32:28What can man do to me? The Lord is on my side as my
- 32:30helper. I shall look in triumph on those
- 32:33who hate me. It is better to take refuge in
- 32:38the Lord than to trust in man. It is better to take refuge in
- 32:41the Lord than to trust in Princess.
- 32:46Open to me the gates of righteousness, that I may enter
- 32:49through them and give thanks to the Lord.
- 32:54Save us, we pray, O Lord, O Lord, we pray.
- 32:57Give us success. You are my God and I will give
- 33:04thanks to you. You are my God.
- 33:05I will extol you. O give thanks to the Lord, for
- 33:09he is good. Steadfast love endures forever.
- 33:14If you're willing, will you extend your hands as we close in
- 33:17prayer? Father God, I give you praise
- 33:23and honour and glory that we ask for revival to start with us.
- 33:35God, in a state known for wildfires, would you start a
- 33:38different kind of fire? Would you start a revival fire?
- 33:44When you start that in our hearts and in our lives, in our
- 33:47private lives, in our prayer life, in the way we cling to our
- 33:50Bible, in the way we desperately seek you, God, in the way we die
- 33:54to ourselves daily to pick up our cross and follow you, God,
- 33:57would you start that in US? God, would you give us a mind
- 34:02and a heart and eyes for others to consider others more than we
- 34:06consider ourselves? God, would you help us to have a
- 34:10heart that serves other people? And God, will you use us and
- 34:16what meager talents and gifts we have to spread the good news
- 34:24now. We pray that you move in this
- 34:27place today and God I pray for this people, your people whom
- 34:31you have saved, that as they go out to the 11 O clock service
- 34:35and to the barbecue and on Monday to work and on Tuesday as
- 34:39they care for their families and their children and their
- 34:41neighborhoods. God, I pray that you protect
- 34:43them. God, you have commissioned them,
- 34:45you have called them, you have gifted them, you have equipped
- 34:49them, and Father God will you now encourage them, lift them up
- 34:55and give them endurance. May you shine your face upon
- 34:59them in Jesus name. And all God's people said Amen.
- 35:03Amen. All right, we got one hour.
- 35:06I'll see you at 11 and then I'll see you to eat some hot dogs.
- 35:09We love you.
