- 2:06Speaker 2: dig me now. One and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:09Speaker 2: radio show. Man, oh man, almost forgot I had one
- 2:14Speaker 2: this morning. But I'm okay. I'll tell you who I
- 2:17Speaker 2: am in a little bit. You know, I get around. Man,
- 2:19Speaker 2: it's so much. But man, good morning everybody. You know today.
- 2:25Speaker 2: I was having a conversation with my wife last night
- 2:29Speaker 2: and we were talking about our plans. You know, we
- 2:32Speaker 2: often sit down, you know, just like a married couple.
- 2:36Speaker 2: I mean, you know, you know we're married. You know,
- 2:37Speaker 2: we have children, we have aspirations, we have hopes, we
- 2:41Speaker 2: I mean know, we have things we want. You know,
- 2:43Speaker 2: when you're married, you know, I mean it's important to
- 2:47Speaker 2: sit with your partner. I'm not telling you anything. You
- 2:49Speaker 2: don't know it's common sense. Really. It's important to sit
- 2:53Speaker 2: down with the person that you've chosen and decided to
- 2:55Speaker 2: share your life with it and have multiple conversations on
- 2:59Speaker 2: a lot of things. And we try to make sure
- 3:01Speaker 2: that all of our conversations aren't always just business related
- 3:06Speaker 2: and always kid related, you know, because that that that
- 3:11Speaker 2: becomes it's a part of it. But it weighs so
- 3:15Speaker 2: much on the marriage that because that's the grunt work
- 3:19Speaker 2: of being married. You know, your children, your family, your bills,
- 3:23Speaker 2: your your mortgage, your your car notes, you know the
- 3:27Speaker 2: what's due, what's coming up, and if you're not careful,
- 3:33Speaker 2: you'll you'll start that becomes the focal point of you
- 3:36Speaker 2: all's conversation. And this woman or man or person that
- 3:41Speaker 2: you've decided to have this life with, all of a sudden,
- 3:44Speaker 2: they're an extension of your business and you guys become
- 3:49Speaker 2: business partners or whatever, and it just gets so anywhere.
- 3:53Speaker 2: I'm just saying that that is important to sit down
- 3:56Speaker 2: and have these conversations, but it's even more important to
- 3:59Speaker 2: have of the other conversation. You know, it's important with
- 4:03Speaker 2: the person that you're planning on making the run with
- 4:06Speaker 2: to sit down and talk about other things, you know,
- 4:10Speaker 2: on a more upbeat note. You know, we were having
- 4:13Speaker 2: a conversation and she was reminding me of what she
- 4:18Speaker 2: loved about me, and then I, in turn, was turned
- 4:21Speaker 2: around telling her the things that I admired about her
- 4:24Speaker 2: and loved about her. And we kind of have these
- 4:27Speaker 2: all the time, you know, when we sit down and
- 4:30Speaker 2: we talk about the things that we still enjoy about
- 4:33Speaker 2: one another, or we may talk about some of the
- 4:36Speaker 2: things that we miss in one another, but we constantly
- 4:39Speaker 2: have these conversations about appreciation. You know, it's so important, man,
- 4:44Speaker 2: that the other person feels appreciated. So these things important.
- 4:49Speaker 2: But we got into the conversation deeper last night, and
- 4:52Speaker 2: I was telling her about this idea that I had
- 4:56Speaker 2: and that I wanted her to help me with and
- 4:59Speaker 2: make a phone call for me because she knows these people,
- 5:02Speaker 2: and I was going to be doing this, and then
- 5:04Speaker 2: my wife reminded me of something not once again. You know,
- 5:09Speaker 2: as always, you know, when I'm talking to you, I
- 5:11Speaker 2: just keep it as real as I can. I don't
- 5:14Speaker 2: know the Bible inside out. I can't quote to you
- 5:17Speaker 2: scriptures and tell you exactly where it is. I just
- 5:20Speaker 2: you know, I heard her say it, but it kind
- 5:22Speaker 2: of blew by me. I was telling her about something
- 5:26Speaker 2: I wanted to make happen, and she reminded me that
- 5:29Speaker 2: there's a scripture somewhere, and somebody emailed it to me today.
- 5:32Speaker 2: I'm sure. Well, the Bible reminds us not to be
- 5:36Speaker 2: anxious for anything. Don't be anxious for something. And you know,
- 5:42Speaker 2: it really mattered to me at that point yesterday that
- 5:45Speaker 2: she brought this to my attention, because how many times
- 5:48Speaker 2: I've been guilty of that in my past and I've
- 5:51Speaker 2: learned better now, but every now and then I need
- 5:54Speaker 2: to be reminded, you know. And I think that what
- 5:58Speaker 2: she was saying to me was, you know, I've gotten
- 6:01Speaker 2: to a point in my life and when we all
- 6:04Speaker 2: should get to a point where you know, you've heard
- 6:07Speaker 2: old people say this, if you're gonna pray about something,
- 6:09Speaker 2: then don't worry about it, And if you're gonna worry
- 6:12Speaker 2: about it, don't pray about it. Back to this, be
- 6:17Speaker 2: anxious for nothing, don't. If you're going to trust in God,
- 6:22Speaker 2: didn't do that, And trusting in him means sometimes you
- 6:27Speaker 2: got to be patient. God has never been too late.
- 6:32Speaker 2: You don't know the plan he has you don't know.
- 6:35Speaker 2: You don't really always know his will. You definitely don't
- 6:38Speaker 2: know his route, his way of doing anything. So he's
- 6:42Speaker 2: always on time. He's always been there on time for me.
- 6:46Speaker 2: He's always been there on time for you. How many
- 6:49Speaker 2: times have you thought it was over only to find
- 6:52Speaker 2: out it's really just begun. How many times have people
- 6:57Speaker 2: wrote you off? Are those of you who have lost
- 7:02Speaker 2: jobs but you are still maintaining? But man, God has
- 7:08Speaker 2: already began to turn around process for many of us.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Some of us lost jobs and now have better jobs.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Some of us lost jobs and now has forced us
- 7:19Speaker 2: to rekindle that dream and that vision for business we had.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Sometimes the mishap is the thing you need to make
- 7:28Speaker 2: something good happen. See a lot of times we get
- 7:32Speaker 2: so comfortable in our life where we just we get complacent.
- 7:38Speaker 2: We just settled in and when this is it and
- 7:40Speaker 2: this is what I'm doing. But in actuality, God has
- 7:44Speaker 2: a tremendous amount of abundance for you. He has an
- 7:47Speaker 2: amazing amount of things. He has all these boxes packaged
- 7:51Speaker 2: up with your name on him that he's willing to
- 7:54Speaker 2: ship if you would just align yourself with some of
- 7:58Speaker 2: his wills, So you could get some of these things.
- 8:01Speaker 2: How many times have you thought it was over and
- 8:04Speaker 2: it didn't really go over. How many times have you
- 8:07Speaker 2: thought have well, this is it and it wasn't it
- 8:10Speaker 2: at all. Well, how many times do you thought, well,
- 8:12Speaker 2: it don't look like this gonna work out, and it
- 8:15Speaker 2: didn't work out, but then something better came along? How
- 8:18Speaker 2: many times has that happened? You've got to realize this. Man.
- 8:22Speaker 2: I was talking to a family who had got displaced
- 8:25Speaker 2: from the Katrina thing that happened down there in New Orleans.
- 8:29Speaker 2: And Man, when they said, yeah, we got a displaced
- 8:32Speaker 2: from Katrina, and I braced myself because, oh woe is me?
- 8:36Speaker 2: Here comes this story. I gotta hear this, and I
- 8:38Speaker 2: gotta be encouraged and think of something. It was totally different.
- 8:41Speaker 2: They totally totally blew me away. Man. The brother said, Man,
- 8:47Speaker 2: is actually the best thing that ever happened to my family.
- 8:50Speaker 2: And I went whoa? And he said, yeah, Man, he said,
- 8:53Speaker 2: because what happened was he said, I got settled in,
- 8:57Speaker 2: he said, Plus, I was doing some things outside of
- 9:01Speaker 2: my marriage down there, He said, I was doing some
- 9:03Speaker 2: stuff in the streets I ain't need to be doing,
- 9:05Speaker 2: he said, Man, it all got washed away. We thought
- 9:08Speaker 2: our life would never be the same. But he said, man,
- 9:10Speaker 2: my life ain't need to be the same. He said, Man.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Now we live up here in Texas, We got a house,
- 9:17Speaker 2: don't know nobody, he said, I ain't got nobody I
- 9:20Speaker 2: know to get into trouble with. He said, man, I
- 9:22Speaker 2: done rediscovered my wife, how beautiful she really is, how
- 9:25Speaker 2: much my family really was counting on me. And he said, man,
- 9:28Speaker 2: it straightened me up. Man, he said, so, I gotta
- 9:31Speaker 2: tell you, Steve, it was the best thing ever happened
- 9:33Speaker 2: to me. Now that's not always the case, but it's
- 9:37Speaker 2: how you look at a situation. But just don't be
- 9:40Speaker 2: anxious for anything, because God got a fix for you
- 9:44Speaker 2: if you just let him work. So just stay on course,
- 9:47Speaker 2: stay focused, don't lose faith, don't be anxious. Man, just
- 9:52Speaker 2: stay in the wheel. Let God work with you. He
- 9:55Speaker 2: got some great stuff in the store for you.
- 9:57Speaker 5: Your listeners to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen. Well, I don't know another way to
- 10:08Speaker 2: put it except it's just absolutely alarmingly magnificent that this
- 10:18Speaker 2: day has been given to us again, just like it
- 10:23Speaker 2: has been before that and before that. And before that,
- 10:28Speaker 2: God just keeps on showing up. I'm so glad he's faithful.
- 10:33Speaker 2: He never misses, He's back in a thousand. Every time
- 10:39Speaker 2: he steps to the plate, it's a home run. He
- 10:42Speaker 2: don't do singles and base hits, all of them go
- 10:46Speaker 2: over the wall. He's a home run hitter, best I've
- 10:51Speaker 2: ever seen. How is batting average ever in the history
- 10:54Speaker 2: of all averages? How do you do? How can there
- 11:00Speaker 2: be something that has a one thousand percent rate of success,
- 11:05Speaker 2: never failed, never missed. That's only God, man. I'm so glad.
- 11:12Speaker 2: I'm here for it. Steve Harvey, mornershow Sheldon Strawberry, Colin
- 11:15Speaker 2: Frail Mississippi, Monica Junior and nephew Tommy Junior.
- 11:19Speaker 6: Y'ard?
- 11:19Speaker 2: What's going on with you?
- 11:22Speaker 7: Man?
- 11:22Speaker 8: Let's talk about this man. No one you're worth. Has
- 11:25Speaker 8: anybody told you wasn't worth that? You're not that valuable?
- 11:30Speaker 2: Boy? I can't count the time you ain't this, You
- 11:33Speaker 2: ain't that. You ain't gonna be this, You ain't gonna
- 11:35Speaker 2: be that. Who are they? No one has that control
- 11:39Speaker 2: over you unless you provide it to them. God is
- 11:43Speaker 2: the architect and author of my life. He is my creator.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Here is my foundation. He is my provider and protector.
- 11:52Speaker 2: There's nothing you can do or say to me that
- 11:55Speaker 2: can stop what God has for me. There's nothing you
- 11:59Speaker 2: can do you. I don't know who people think they are.
- 12:02Speaker 2: I don't even really know why haters exist. You all
- 12:05Speaker 2: are wasting your time. When God has something for a person.
- 12:10Speaker 2: There is nothing you can do. You not that nice? Wait, No,
- 12:14Speaker 2: hold up, So you think that if you get online
- 12:17Speaker 2: and you start hating or you start be living somebody
- 12:22Speaker 2: talking down on them, you think that you are going
- 12:27Speaker 2: to stop them from being what God created for them.
- 12:32Speaker 2: You think you're gonna stop something happening to them that
- 12:35Speaker 2: God says is his will. And especially if you're talking
- 12:40Speaker 2: to a person who is in line with that, who
- 12:43Speaker 2: knows who he is and knows whose he is. You're
- 12:48Speaker 2: fighting on all you You're fighting an unbeatable foe. I'm
- 12:53Speaker 2: that guy. I'm not beatable. You can't beat me, not you. No,
- 12:59Speaker 2: I'm unbeatable. You can save your energy and your breath.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Why don't you focus on improving your life instead of
- 13:06Speaker 2: trying to tear mine down? Because mine is not yours
- 13:10Speaker 2: to remove. I don't have Nobody has that permission from me.
- 13:14Speaker 2: So yeah, I've heard it all my life, but I
- 13:17Speaker 2: ignore it. They don't line talking about me now somewhere.
- 13:21Speaker 2: It doesn't matter. Don't matter. Man. I'm tucked in, I'm deep,
- 13:26Speaker 2: I'm in the cut, I'm locked and loaded. I'm ten
- 13:30Speaker 2: toes down standing on business, about it, about it all right?
- 13:37Speaker 1: See, thank you.

- 15:25Speaker 10: days ago, Cleveland loss.
- 15:27Speaker 2: I understand, I know what it is. But here we go.
- 15:30Speaker 10: Calvin then lost his mind, and so has Steve. Let's
- 15:34Speaker 10: go cat dog. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach a breath.

- 15:46Speaker 10: wanted to give you a call.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Man. We have your husband, mister Calvin.
- 15:51Speaker 10: Is there any way you can actually come down to
- 15:53Speaker 10: the police station today?
- 15:56Speaker 7: Is my husband Calvin?
- 15:59Speaker 1: Is he?
- 15:59Speaker 2: Calvin is?
- 16:02Speaker 1: Okay?
- 16:03Speaker 10: We have Calvin. He's been picked up for a Class
- 16:05Speaker 10: C mis demeanor and I wanted to see if you're
- 16:09Speaker 10: able to pick him up. We're not going to press charges.
- 16:11Speaker 10: There is a two hundred and fifty dollar fine that
- 16:14Speaker 10: needs to be paid, but we I'm giving you a call.
- 16:17Speaker 10: He asked me to call his wife to see if
- 16:18Speaker 10: you would actually come and pick him up.
- 16:21Speaker 6: So it's a two hundred and fifty dollars fine. Do
- 16:23Speaker 6: as soon as I get there.
- 16:25Speaker 2: Yes, we do need the two hundred and fifty dollars fine.
- 16:28Speaker 6: Oh okay, because I don't, I don't have it. I'm
- 16:30Speaker 6: not to call his mom and giddy. But what is
- 16:32Speaker 6: he there for?
- 16:34Speaker 11: Uh?
- 16:34Speaker 10: He was in decent exposure, ma'am. He was in a park.
- 16:38Speaker 10: Are you familiar with Lakeside Park?
- 16:40Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 16:41Speaker 10: Okay, he was out at Lakeside Park and he was
- 16:44Speaker 10: in decent exposure.
- 16:45Speaker 2: He had no clothes on.
- 16:47Speaker 10: He was with another person, another female, out there, and
- 16:51Speaker 10: they had no clothes on.
- 16:53Speaker 6: Hold the hell up you too.
- 16:55Speaker 7: You had make it a big mistake that Calvin supposed
- 16:58Speaker 7: to be atting work.
- 16:59Speaker 12: That's what hell.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Calvin's supposed to.
- 17:01Speaker 6: Be, not a car.
- 17:03Speaker 7: So you saying that you saw him were the car.
- 17:08Speaker 10: It's not a detective. There was actually a police officer
- 17:10Speaker 10: man that actually brought them in there. Both were brought
- 17:13Speaker 10: in here about two hours ago. He's been processed. He
- 17:18Speaker 10: has been processed, but we need somebody to actually come
- 17:21Speaker 10: pick him up now.
- 17:22Speaker 6: And can this kid okay, well kill me? What is
- 17:24Speaker 6: the two of the females? What's the female name? Is
- 17:26Speaker 6: l Riser too?
- 17:27Speaker 3: Did him?
- 17:28Speaker 10: She has been arrested. She's actually on the other side
- 17:31Speaker 10: of the jail. She's on the woman at women's side.
- 17:34Speaker 6: Okay, can you get her name?
- 17:35Speaker 2: I do not have her name in front of me.
- 17:37Speaker 10: I will be able to have that a little later
- 17:39Speaker 10: or but right now, I think more importantly, he's he's
- 17:43Speaker 10: actually sitting in a holding tank with with no clothes on.
- 17:45Speaker 6: So I wait a minute, I mean Calvin that lost
- 17:48Speaker 6: his gunne I'm not coming to let me tell you
- 17:53Speaker 6: what he needed to be killing Calvin. You need to
- 17:56Speaker 6: tell Calvin that he needs to come up with two
- 17:58Speaker 6: hundred and fifty dollars to get his said he just
- 18:00Speaker 6: got his in a fen and then you need to
- 18:02Speaker 6: come home with some more money to take for this divorce.

- 18:35Speaker 7: With his up that naked and then and then she
- 18:38Speaker 7: hit him.

- 23:42Speaker 9: But the other thing is show your daughter. You're gonna
- 23:44Speaker 9: get by example with that too. You don't need a
- 23:47Speaker 9: man to.
- 23:50Speaker 6: Like that.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, all right?
- 23:54Speaker 11: Uh.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Moving on to Trent and Saginaw.
- 23:56Speaker 5: Trent says I helped my female coworker get the air
- 24:00Speaker 5: fixed in her car. She told me it was expensive,
- 24:03Speaker 5: but she didn't ask for my help. She went to
- 24:06Speaker 5: my technician and I paid for half of it. Her
- 24:09Speaker 5: sorry boyfriend told me I was fouled for what I did.

- 24:42Speaker 2: got a daddy somewhere. He ain't a nice guy. Okay,
- 24:46Speaker 2: all right, all right, but then the boyfriend talking about
- 24:50Speaker 2: you filed for what you did? Now that week, man,
- 24:55Speaker 2: that's week, right there.

- 25:07Speaker 2: Right, you knew what your girl's situation was. You didn't
- 25:10Speaker 2: step up. He stepped up, did something. Now you're telling

- 25:20Speaker 5: Okay, all right, Trent, all right. Moving on to Dorothy

- 25:37Speaker 5: old hats to church and driving around in her old car.
- 25:41Speaker 1: I don't like it. Should I talk to the husband
- 25:44Speaker 1: about this?
- 25:46Speaker 2: It ain't your business. Them ain't your hats. That ain't
- 25:51Speaker 2: your car. It wasn't your car or your hat when
- 25:55Speaker 2: your friend had it. Now, I don't know who like
- 25:59Speaker 2: wear it. Did people's hat?
- 26:00Speaker 1: I really am telling you.

- 26:14Speaker 2: these people who was wearing the hat to church.
- 26:21Speaker 5: Uh.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Now the husband might be saying, you know, I sure
- 26:25Speaker 2: want to see you where that hat? That would hat
- 26:28Speaker 2: right there with my favorite hat when you when you
- 26:32Speaker 2: go to church Sunday, if you would wear any would

- 26:52Speaker 2: Yeah, that that's at all?
- 26:54Speaker 1: What kind of that?

- 27:20Speaker 2: Jesus crushed for the little suit seats in here, so
- 27:26Speaker 2: paid for short paid for. You know, he ain't got
- 27:30Speaker 2: no Cali convert on it. And he can't pay no
- 27:32Speaker 2: admission to get your drive to church.
- 27:36Speaker 1: And it burns a lot of gas.
- 27:38Speaker 2: Come on back to the house. Everything good, all right?
- 27:41Speaker 2: All right?
- 27:42Speaker 1: So no she should not Dorothy should not talk to

- 27:58Speaker 1: the un What was it?
- 28:05Speaker 5: Dorothy Clementine? All right, moving on to the last one, Steve,
- 28:11Speaker 5: this is the last one. This is Chester and New
- 28:13Speaker 5: Rochelle Chester writes. My neighbors served swerve to avoid a
- 28:18Speaker 5: trash can and he ended up hitting my fence. He
- 28:22Speaker 5: said he's not paying to fix my fence because my
- 28:25Speaker 5: trash can should not have been in the street. Is
- 28:28Speaker 5: it best to take him to small claims court or
- 28:31Speaker 5: beat his blankety blank?
- 28:34Speaker 2: Well, now that beating his blankety blank might not always
- 28:37Speaker 2: work out. Can you run down that street if you
- 28:43Speaker 2: want to? Don't sound like you real fighting, because already
- 28:47Speaker 2: your first your first mind with small claims court. Yeah,
- 28:52Speaker 2: that's probably where you need to go. Real fighters don't
- 28:56Speaker 2: go to court. Oh already it would have happened. Yeah,
- 29:02Speaker 2: it's not what you do. You took time to write
- 29:04Speaker 2: the letter, so I was just going to go to
- 29:06Speaker 2: small claims court. How much your trash can shouldn't have
- 29:11Speaker 2: been in the street? Yeah, I'd have hit that trash
- 29:16Speaker 2: can though, hold it up, but it would.
- 29:19Speaker 1: Mess up your car, so then you would assue him. Yeah,
- 29:22Speaker 1: hit the crash.
- 29:24Speaker 9: Why won't he pay for but he hit the trash can.
- 29:27Speaker 9: It was a guy's trash can. Then he hit the fi.
- 29:30Speaker 1: No, he to avoid the trash can. He ended up
- 29:33Speaker 1: hitting the fence.
- 29:34Speaker 9: Yeah, but let me this is the fence owner and
- 29:37Speaker 9: the trash can owner the same person.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Yeah, uh huh.
- 29:41Speaker 2: That's why he told him. If your trash can wasn't
- 29:44Speaker 2: in the street, I wanted to hit your f right.
- 29:47Speaker 1: God, Sorry, Junior, I know it's about a fence.
- 29:49Speaker 2: I'm sorry, all right, one, you out of this conversation.
- 29:56Speaker 2: I'm good now, Junior.
- 29:58Speaker 1: Fence.
- 29:59Speaker 2: It's the thing that you put in your yall. Someone
- 30:04Speaker 2: made out why someone made out made out of it
- 30:09Speaker 2: a hard plastic, but you get wanting you put it
- 30:13Speaker 2: in your yard and people can't hit it. He'd miss it.
- 30:15Speaker 2: All been fine, you hit grass.
- 30:20Speaker 1: All right?
- 30:20Speaker 11: Thank you.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Cela coming over at the top of the hour. We'll
- 30:23Speaker 1: have some mess right after this. You're listening, Steve Harvey
- 30:30Speaker 1: Morning Show.
- 30:35Speaker 5: Jerry's selection in Diddy's federal trial began earlier this week,
- 30:39Speaker 5: with a few prospective jurors being excused. A judge asked
- 30:43Speaker 5: juror forty eight if she answered yes to any questions
- 30:46Speaker 5: posed on the questionnaire and she admitted there was one
- 30:50Speaker 5: where she gave the affirmative because of an alleged attempted rape.
- 30:54Speaker 5: While she didn't say she couldn't be fair, Apparently she
- 30:58Speaker 5: wrote on the questionnaire that did he has money and
- 31:01Speaker 5: could potentially buy his way out of trouble. When asked
- 31:04Speaker 5: what she meant by her answer, Juror forty eight replied,
- 31:08Speaker 5: just what I wrote.
- 31:10Speaker 1: She was sent home.
- 31:13Speaker 5: Another juror was dismissed because he said he heard about
- 31:17Speaker 5: diddy sex parties and the case on the Joe Rogan podcast,
- 31:21Speaker 5: and another juror was excused because he used to work
- 31:24Speaker 5: at a publishing company that published Albi Schure's memoir. According
- 31:29Speaker 5: to US News, twelve jurors will decide whether Diddy used
- 31:32Speaker 5: his power and influence to sexually exploit women for more
- 31:36Speaker 5: than two decades, as federal prosecutors allege in a five
- 31:39Speaker 5: count indictment.
- 31:40Speaker 2: So there you go.
- 31:41Speaker 1: So there they have dismissed some juriste.
- 31:45Speaker 2: Yeah, so he's not out of jail yet, he's not
- 31:50Speaker 2: there for jury selection.
- 31:51Speaker 1: Yeah, they got to select the jurors.
- 31:53Speaker 2: Yes, he is.
- 31:54Speaker 1: He's been because he's got gray hair. Yeah, his hair
- 31:59Speaker 1: is gray. His beard is gray.
- 32:01Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, they don't have just with me in in there.
- 32:04Speaker 1: Yeah. Really.
- 32:08Speaker 9: On that first day for the jury selection, he told
- 32:11Speaker 9: the judge that he was nervous.
- 32:13Speaker 1: Did he said that?
- 32:14Speaker 7: So?
- 32:14Speaker 1: Yeah, pardon judge, I'm just a little nervous, yeah, he.
- 32:18Speaker 5: So any pictures they have the artists rendering, you know, yeah,
- 32:23Speaker 5: from court, because they probably want to keep the jurors
- 32:27Speaker 5: potential jurors identity conmident.
- 32:30Speaker 2: I'm sure I don't care who are the jewry box?
- 32:32Speaker 2: I'm just trying to figure out.

- 33:21Speaker 1: was very cute.
- 33:22Speaker 5: So congratulations to these black queens, these mothers for being
- 33:25Speaker 5: mature and are now on good terms and squashing their beef.
- 33:29Speaker 2: I think that's great, man. I think we need to
- 33:32Speaker 2: be past all these beefs and tear each other down. Now.
- 33:37Speaker 2: Our culture has slipped into a position where we are.
- 33:41Speaker 2: I've never seen us this way before towards one another,
- 33:47Speaker 2: and I've never seen any other people do it the

- 34:36Speaker 5: Yeah, And the thing that bothers me about about it
- 34:39Speaker 5: as far as us tearing each other down.
- 34:41Speaker 1: My parents used to talk about this.
- 34:43Speaker 5: The older people in my family used to talk about
- 34:45Speaker 5: how black people can't stick together and we're I mean,
- 34:47Speaker 5: they didn't have social media, of course. But what I'm

- 40:05Speaker 2: the number one gift this year for mothers, the thing
- 40:08Speaker 2: that they cannot deny, was really really thoughtful. I think
- 40:15Speaker 2: based on the way things are going, the economy, the
- 40:21Speaker 2: way the world has shaped out, the political atmosphere, I
- 40:27Speaker 2: think that every mother should get a chicken this year.
- 40:32Speaker 7: You know what that is.
- 40:35Speaker 2: That's my boy. I didn't know where you was going.
- 40:38Speaker 2: Showed up today. Boy, he bowed up.
- 40:45Speaker 3: A chicken.
- 40:46Speaker 1: Can stand.

- 42:16Speaker 11: Talk to you, lady.
- 42:17Speaker 2: Thank you, thank you. Thanks.
- 42:20Speaker 10: Uncle took my little title from me. I don't know
- 42:22Speaker 10: what what made him mad or whatever, but yeah, he
- 42:24Speaker 10: decided to take that off. But okay, thank you for it.
- 42:29Speaker 10: Ain't with me what it came from you.
- 42:33Speaker 1: Yeah, introduced Tommy as a legend, and you stopped.
- 42:37Speaker 2: You took that people some people, some people on this show.
- 42:43Speaker 1: Yeah, oh on this show.
- 42:46Speaker 2: Okay, that's what I said.
- 42:47Speaker 6: You know what.
- 42:48Speaker 2: Okay, we had this conversation who said it?
- 42:52Speaker 3: Who about?
- 42:52Speaker 1: Scare about you sitting up?
- 42:53Speaker 3: Who?
- 42:54Speaker 2: Okay, who's who's who said it? You're going and tell
- 42:57Speaker 2: me tell me who said?
- 42:59Speaker 7: No? No, no, no?
- 43:00Speaker 10: They here there all right, come on there here, it's
- 43:04Speaker 10: four of y'all he's waiting. Monica Crickets called Shirley Junior,
- 43:10Speaker 10: which one.
- 43:10Speaker 1: Said, I did not say it. I'll say that, Carlo,
- 43:15Speaker 1: I did not say that. Okay, one down, Okay, Monica,
- 43:20Speaker 1: you said it.
- 43:21Speaker 9: Monica said, she's tired to see calling you the legend
- 43:23Speaker 9: that is, she said.
- 43:28Speaker 1: She raised, I know you thought it was me, didn't you.
- 43:32Speaker 10: I show thought feel I thought it was me. I
- 43:36Speaker 10: know you thought I thought it was it's Monica Mississippi.
- 43:40Speaker 10: Monica said, yeah, okay, okay, I.
- 43:43Speaker 2: Don't know how you wasn't the only one. She wasn't
- 43:46Speaker 2: only so that was a that was a no legend meeting.
- 43:52Speaker 1: Then you didn't get the memo. You can get the member.
- 43:56Speaker 1: I ain't said that. I ain't got my name yet.
- 44:00Speaker 2: Go play a little phone call. Let me let me
- 44:02Speaker 2: figure out harm and Henley. Okay, all right?
- 44:06Speaker 5: Is this called Steph is from Dallas. He left a
- 44:10Speaker 5: message about your comment about atheists.
- 44:12Speaker 12: Hi, Steve, I am calling from Dallas. It is May sixth,
- 44:17Speaker 12: and I'm just wanting to make a comment on something
- 44:19Speaker 12: that you just made. You call people fools that they
- 44:23Speaker 12: didn't believe in God. You call them ignorant. I believe
- 44:27Speaker 12: while I do believe in God. He made a comment
- 44:30Speaker 12: that and I'm sure that those that don't believe in
- 44:33Speaker 12: God and those that are atheists probably think I'm a
- 44:35Speaker 12: fool and think I'm ignorant. But I really think that's
- 44:38Speaker 12: an ignorant comment that you made to assume that people
- 44:42Speaker 12: feel the same.
- 44:43Speaker 7: Way that you do.
- 44:44Speaker 12: There are plenty people who believe in God that are
- 44:47Speaker 12: Christians or other different religions, and they don't think negative
- 44:52Speaker 12: or think that people who don't believe how they believe
- 44:56Speaker 12: are fools and are ignorant. Vice versa. There are people
- 45:00Speaker 12: who are not Christians, who are atheists, who don't believe
- 45:03Speaker 12: in God and do not believe that people who believe
- 45:06Speaker 12: in God are ignorant and our fulls. I really think
- 45:09Speaker 12: that's an ignorant comment. You're disappointing, but I still continue
- 45:14Speaker 12: to listen to your show.
- 45:15Speaker 2: A keyword I said, I'm assuming that you feel this way,
- 45:19Speaker 2: because if I feel that way, I stand on what
- 45:21Speaker 2: I said. Let me give you something what the Bible
- 45:23Speaker 2: says a fool has said in his heart there is
- 45:28Speaker 2: no God that's in the Bible. Now I say ignorant stuff,
- 45:32Speaker 2: admit it. And I may have said some ignorant. Stand
- 45:36Speaker 2: on it. I'm here, faid, I'm a here fault. I
- 45:44Speaker 2: thank you, ignorant. You ain't got to feel how you
- 45:47Speaker 2: want to feel about me. I appreciate you, ma'am, thank
- 45:50Speaker 2: you for calling. But a fool has said in his
- 45:53Speaker 2: heart there is no God. Now how I paraphrase it,
- 45:56Speaker 2: I take credit for that. Thank you. Have a great day.
- 46:02Speaker 2: And how me is it all right?
- 46:04Speaker 5: He coming up next? Thank you, sir. Coming up next
- 46:08Speaker 5: to the nephew with this prank phone call for today.
- 46:12Speaker 5: Right after this legendar, you're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 46:18Speaker 5: Morning Show coming up at the top of the hour,
- 46:24Speaker 5: right about four minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today,
- 46:27Speaker 5: and the subject is why can't she realize the marriage
- 46:31Speaker 5: is over? We'll get into that find out what that's
- 46:33Speaker 5: all about in just a few you know, it's always
- 46:35Speaker 5: something crazy going on. Right now, the nephew is here
- 46:39Speaker 5: speaking of crazy with today's prank phone call.

- 56:48Speaker 2: Thank you nephew.
- 56:50Speaker 1: Subject.
- 56:51Speaker 5: Why can't she realize the marriage is over? Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 56:56Speaker 5: My boyfriend and I went on a couple's trip with
- 56:59Speaker 5: two of his friends and their girlfriends. His friend is
- 57:02Speaker 5: dating one of my girlfriends, so we were having a
- 57:05Speaker 5: ball hanging out at the beach and relaxing. Most of
- 57:09Speaker 5: us are married, but not to each other. My boyfriend's
- 57:14Speaker 5: wife showed up at our resort and tried to mess
- 57:17Speaker 5: up our weekend. She knows about me and hasn't had
- 57:20Speaker 5: an issue with me being with her husband until he
- 57:23Speaker 5: decided to go on a trip with me. She started
- 57:26Speaker 5: messaging me on Instagram again to tell me that she
- 57:29Speaker 5: knows about the trip and that she might pop up.
- 57:33Speaker 5: I ignore all of her crazy messages because I refused
- 57:36Speaker 5: to entertain that old bitter woman that ran off her husband.
- 57:42Speaker 5: I planned our trip and I did not think twice
- 57:45Speaker 5: about her. Days before our trip, I told my boyfriend
- 57:48Speaker 5: about his wife's messages, and he found out that she
- 57:51Speaker 5: had taken off work around the dates of our trip,
- 57:53Speaker 5: and he warned me that she might.
- 57:55Speaker 1: Really pop up on us.
- 57:57Speaker 5: I told him that he gives her too much freedom,
- 58:00Speaker 5: says to his personal information. He agreed, but he refuses
- 58:04Speaker 5: to change his email password and he doesn't have a
- 58:06Speaker 5: passcode on his cell phone. He says he has nothing
- 58:11Speaker 5: to hide. So there we were at our resort with
- 58:14Speaker 5: his wife following us around in the background to all
- 58:18Speaker 5: of our dinners and excursions on the island. She had
- 58:21Speaker 5: her broke sister with her, and the sister was clearly
- 58:24Speaker 5: there for a free vacation and no drama because she
- 58:27Speaker 5: went out with us on our last night. So I
- 58:30Speaker 5: want to know this, Why do women stick around to
- 58:33Speaker 5: make their husbands miserable when they know the marriage is over.
- 58:37Speaker 5: Why won't she divorce him and move on? Well, you know,
- 58:41Speaker 5: we could ask you the very same question. Why don't
- 58:43Speaker 5: you wait till they get a divorce and then get
- 58:46Speaker 5: with him? I mean you've heard that saying, you know,
- 58:49Speaker 5: if I can't have him, no one else can. Well
- 58:51Speaker 5: that's kind of what's happening here. You may think the
- 58:54Speaker 5: marriage is over, but wifey is not giving up so easily.
- 58:59Speaker 5: She still hanging on as long as she's got those papers,
- 59:02Speaker 5: she's going to fight for her man or make you
- 59:05Speaker 5: guys miserable in the process, one or the other. You
- 59:07Speaker 5: want to know why she can't realize it's all over.
- 59:11Speaker 5: Why can't you realize it's not over?
- 59:14Speaker 1: Not yet? Anyway?
- 59:15Speaker 5: There's some unfinished business between the two of them as
- 59:18Speaker 5: far as she's concerned, and it's really up to the
- 59:22Speaker 5: husband to take care of that, not you. What is
- 59:25Speaker 5: the rush for you anyway? I mean, he's not a
- 59:29Speaker 5: free man. Why can't you wait, like I said, until
- 59:32Speaker 5: they're officially divorced, Because having her stalking you on your
- 59:36Speaker 5: vacations and still being so very much in the mix
- 59:40Speaker 5: is probably not going to change until they're legally done.
- 59:43Speaker 1: So I think you should let this go until then.
- 59:46Speaker 2: Steve, First of all, let me clear something up for
- 59:50Speaker 2: everybody listening to this. There's no mention of paperwork or
- 59:55Speaker 2: divorce in the process. There's no talk of separation. He
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: has no No one has filed for divorce in this letter.
- 1:00:10Speaker 7: Here.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: How crazy this letter is though?
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: Come on.
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: My boyfriend and I went on a couple's trip with
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: two of his friends and their girlfriend. One of his
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: friends is dating one of my girlfriends. So we having
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: the ball, hanging out the beach and relaxing. Here's the
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: key to this whole letter. Most of us are married,
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: but not to each other. What now, let's just take
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: this line. Most of us are married but not to
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: each other. So it's a couple's trip. Six people is
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: on this couple trip. I've done the math. If them
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: and two of his friends and they girlfriend, that's six
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: people who are married but not to each other. Here's
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: the question, who are these people?
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: And where y'all.
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: Find each other? At it? Because this is amazing. Now,
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: my boyfriend's wife, this is so crazy. My boyfriend's wife
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: come on, showed up at our resort and tried to
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: mess up our weekend. She knows about me and hasn't
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: had an issue with me being with her husband until
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: he decided to go on the triple. Now, the way
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: she found out was she's the woman. The wife started
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: messaging her on ig to tell me she knows about
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: the trip and she might pop up. Now right here,
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: I'm not gonna be on this trip as the husband.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: I'm not going now, she said. I ignore all her
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: crazy messages because I refuse to entertain that old biddle. Rooman.
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: So now I know all these people is old that
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: ran off of her husband. I planned our trip. I
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: didn't think twice about her. Days before our trip. I
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: told my boyfriend about his wife's messages. He found out
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: that she had taken off work the dates of our
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: trip and warned me that she might really pop up
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: on us. This is crazy, and everybody still win. Then
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: she said, I told him he gave her too much
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: freedom and access to his personal information. We come back
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: the rest of his ignos.
- 1:03:01Speaker 5: All right, Steve, we'll have part two of your response
- 1:03:03Speaker 5: coming up at twenty three minutes after today's Strawberry letter
- 1:03:06Speaker 5: subject why can't she realize the marriage is over? We'll
- 1:03:09Speaker 5: get back into it right after this. You're listening Steve
- 1:03:13Speaker 5: Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: Folks, there are a lot of reasons to like Hyundai.
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: Hyundai's done a lot to support American consumers. I mean,
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: they announced their investment of twenty one billion dollars in
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: the United States over the next three years that will
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: expand manufacturing and create more jobs for Americans.
- 1:03:36Speaker 10: And they just announced that they will not be raising
- 1:03:39Speaker 10: MSRP through June second, no matter what. Call five six, two, three, one,
- 1:03:44Speaker 10: four four six zero three for more details.
- 1:03:47Speaker 5: All right, come on, Steve, Let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:03:50Speaker 5: The subject why can't she realize the marriage is over?
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: All right? The title is why can't she realize marriage
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: is over?
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: That?
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: Sheirley made a great point, why don't you realize it
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: ain't over? Because they still married? And Shirley said, why
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: don't you waiting till they're divorced? The problem is, ain't
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: nobody mentioned filing in this letter? The six people that's
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: on the trip, nobody has filed. They've accepted this as
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: normal behaving. So you and your boyfriend, who is married
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: to this woman decided to go on the trip. She
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: found out about it. Now she knows about her and
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: said that she ain't never had an issue with her
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: being with her husband until he decided to go on
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: the trip with me. Now, six people that's on this trip, him,
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: two of his friends, and two of her girlfriends. Most
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: of us are married, but not to each other. Lord
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: her mercy, who are these people are? Where you find
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: them at?
- 1:04:52Speaker 7: Now?
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: She said?
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: She the woman The wife started messaging her on ig to,
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: telling her that she know about the trip and she
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: might pop up. Oh, the lady ignored the messages. I
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: don't know how you did that, but I refuse to
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: entertain that old bit of woman that ran off her husband.
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: So she says she planned the trip, she ain't think
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: twice about it. Then before the trip, she told her
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: boyfriend that about the wife's messages, and then he found
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: out that she had taken off work around the dates
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: of our trip and won me she might really.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: Pop up on us.
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: He is, no way I'm at this trip. But they
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: wouldn't even I told him he give her too much
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: freedom and access to his personal information. He agreed, but
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: listen to this. He refused to change his email password.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: That's because old people don't like change, because then they
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: got to try to remember that one too, that it is.
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: And he doesn't have a pass code on his cell
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: phone because he ain't gonna remember that. So his phone
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: just rang. You can pick it up and check messages
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: every day. He said, he ain't got nothing to hide.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: He wired open, he opened book me. He been doing
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: this like he want to do it, and he ain't
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: got nothing to hide. So there we were at our
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: resort with his wife following us around in the background.
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: Who is this woman bady. Y'all at the pool. I'm
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: at the pool. I'm on the other side looking y'all
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: get dressed, go to dinner. I'm dressed. I'm going to dinner.
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: I'm in the same restaurant. I'm crossing. I'm in the
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: booth cross from yards.
- 1:06:38Speaker 10: Now.
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: They don't say nothing about her making a scene or nothing.
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: She just followed him around at the resort, to all
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: our dinners and excursions on the higher So y'all went
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: to see the waterfall. She in the truck behind y'all.
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: She had the waterfall too. Boy, you're you're going. You
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: went on the little nature hike with the picnic. She
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: got a picnic basket. She crossed the road watching y'all
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: eating permender sandwiches, And then she had a broke sister
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: with him. And the sister was clearly there for a
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: few free vacation and no drama because she went out
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: with us on our last night. So I want to
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: know this, Why do women stick around to make their
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: husbands miserable when they know the marriage is over? Why
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: won't she divorce him and move on? I don't know.
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: I can't answer that question. I don't know how he
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: pulling this off. I don't. I don't know what woman
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: follows her husband on a vacation and don't make her sing.
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: I don't know what woman watches y'all go to dinner
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: and sit over there and let y'all eat in peace.
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: I don't know anybody who takes off work to go
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: to the resort and don't start nothing to take her sister,
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: and then her sister go out with y'all. What y'all
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: doing tonight?
- 1:08:12Speaker 6: Who?
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: They're having fun? They're over there laughing, Yeah, yun, I'm
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: over herman, I'm just going out with you, cause I says,
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: she tripping. What y'all doing tonight, y'all be drinking?
- 1:08:26Speaker 3: It is?
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: Yoa you got any more friends? So I don't understand
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: this letter. Man, I have no advice for you. I don't.
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: I don't know how this this wife does it like this.
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: I don't know why she's accepted her husband treating her
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: this way? Now? Why don't they get a divorce? Why
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: don't he fire me? But I got the feeling he doesn't.
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: She just said, I'm not going nowhere. I'm not giving
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: you nothing, the wife, If you ain't gonna be with me,
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: you ain't gonna be with nobody, but he clearly he's
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: with somebody. So I don't have an answer for you.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: You know, not even to just stop messing with this
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: married man until out of that having a ball. Yeah,
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: that's not gonna happen, but she should.
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: But your old boyfriend need to change his past code
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: cause she taking off days and everything popping up at
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: the same as or got a room or probably on
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: the same floor. I would love to hear the conversation
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: with his two friends and the other two girls. I
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: would love to hear the conversation between the wife and
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: her sister. I would love to hear these conversations.

- 1:13:17Speaker 8: won't number eleven. He said, I won't number eleven New York.
- 1:13:20Speaker 8: Phil Simms won't number eleven. Phil Silms said, no.
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: You can't wear eleven either.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: He's a quarterback though. Yeah, phil Simms said, you ain't
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: taking my number.
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: Ether understood.
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: He got two.
- 1:13:35Speaker 8: It just got drapped and got two nose already. So
- 1:13:38Speaker 8: now he gonna be wearing number three. You do three,
- 1:13:42Speaker 8: We're gonna get three retired.
- 1:13:44Speaker 3: So I can't believe you would have asked L. T.
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: Eagals LT is he's.
- 1:13:51Speaker 3: Number the man.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: Now, all right, junior, thank you.
- 1:13:55Speaker 5: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 1:13:57Speaker 5: more of the Steve Hody Morning Show. Right you're listening
- 1:14:01Speaker 5: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: So Steve, this is from Megan on Steve HARBFM. She says.
- 1:14:10Speaker 5: My boyfriend and I had a big talk a few
- 1:14:13Speaker 5: months ago where he promised to stop watching porn because
- 1:14:17Speaker 5: he knew how much it upset me. Things were good
- 1:14:20Speaker 5: for a while, but lately he's been acting secretive, closing
- 1:14:24Speaker 5: his laptop fast, and being weird with his phone, which
- 1:14:27Speaker 5: makes me think he's sneaking around again. It's making me
- 1:14:31Speaker 5: feel like I'm not enough for him, like he'd rather
- 1:14:33Speaker 5: be fantasizing about other women. And I'm starting to doubt
- 1:14:38Speaker 5: our whole relationship. Here's the question, should I give him
- 1:14:41Speaker 5: another chance or is this my sign to leave?
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: That's from Megan.
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: Well, the man could love you, but you not doing
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: what they doing in the point. That's just all. You're
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: just not doing it. Speaking true, you're not doing it, man,
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: He won't some of the action that's happening in defel.
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: You're not climbing on the pool table, keep talking, Yeah,
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: go ahead. You ain't laying across the ball, nobody's doing
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: You ain't got your rear end hanging out the closet.
- 1:15:26Speaker 7: You just.
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: That's what I'm talking about, Really, Steve, really, he not.
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: Getting out the car and you on the back steps
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: waiting with nothing on. You just ain't side side. You know,
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: he don't get out the car when he get off working.
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: You throw a comfort on the hood and just go
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: at it. You ain't doing You're not.
- 1:15:49Speaker 7: You not.
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: Making plane, Steve, make a plane.
- 1:15:53Speaker 11: Yes, I've asked you.
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: You know what your faper? You ain't on in the refrigerator,
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: looking at the vegetable, being at the bottom of the
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: thing and just standing there with no heels on. Just
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: if you're not doing that waiting on him to come up,
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: You're just not finna do that?
- 1:16:09Speaker 3: What what are you?
- 1:16:11Speaker 5: Okay, So answer her question? Should she give him another chance?
- 1:16:15Speaker 5: Or is this her sign to boy?
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: Either you need to try that. You need to try
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: some understand. You need to find out what's having any videos?
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: So you're encouraging her to watch the videos with him,
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: watch porn with him.
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: You need to find out what's so interesting in that
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: she's not doing something? Yeah, she ain't doing nothing.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: Why Why is it on her though? Why can't do
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: you say it was on her? You said she's not
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: doing something.
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: You did say that, that's what that's why he looking
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: at the film?
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: Okay, well then it is what she said. She feels
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: like she's not enough for him. So exactly, I just
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: told you that's exactly why you ain't enough.
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: Wow. Now, if you want to be enough, you need
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: to see what's having any video. She don't have to
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: do noning, right, she is fack free to go on
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: about her business. You ain't got to be drooled down
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: this dog path. Right. You are not a porno star. Right,
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: you are paralegal. You work downtown. You dress up to
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: go to work. You don't undress to.
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: Come over.
- 1:17:33Speaker 5: All right, we have time for another one, Steve. This
- 1:17:36Speaker 5: is Jerry on Steve Harvey FM. Jerry says, when my
- 1:17:39Speaker 5: wife and I bought our home, we loved how peaceful
- 1:17:42Speaker 5: and private the backyard felt. Even though the houses are
- 1:17:45Speaker 5: close together, Our next door neighbor's yard since a few
- 1:17:48Speaker 5: feet higher, giving them a clear view down in two hours.
- 1:17:52Speaker 5: At first, it wasn't a big deal. We're friendly with them,
- 1:17:55Speaker 5: but as their kids have gotten to know us, they've
- 1:17:56Speaker 5: become more comfortable interacting with us when we're just trying
- 1:18:00Speaker 5: and relax in our own backyard. We get it, they're
- 1:18:02Speaker 5: just being nice, but we miss having space that felt
- 1:18:06Speaker 5: like our own. Is there a way to reclaim that privacy?
- 1:18:09Speaker 5: Without seeming rude or starting tension with them.
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: Yeah, does she say where they live? What state?
- 1:18:15Speaker 11: No?
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: She didn't say.
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: No, Okay, for tenias. For tenius is what you want.
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: It's a bush that you can buy already twelve feet
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: high and it grows up to eighteen and they grow
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: quickly and they grow thickly. Put them all along the fence.
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: I had stop all that looking in your yard. Okay, now, Julia,
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: you need a fence first.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: We'll have more. Steve Harvey mor up right after this.
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:18:56Speaker 5: Well, a Chador Sanders fan is suing the NFL for
- 1:19:00Speaker 5: one hundred million dollars due to Shaudure slipping to the
- 1:19:03Speaker 5: fifth round in the NFL draft. Now, this is according
- 1:19:07Speaker 5: to MSN. The plaintiff, whose name is John Doe, alleges
- 1:19:11Speaker 5: that the NFL owners colluded to pass on Sanders, causing
- 1:19:16Speaker 5: him psychological trauma as a fan and consumer. John Doe
- 1:19:21Speaker 5: told The Independent that he calculated the one hundred million
- 1:19:25Speaker 5: dollar figure based upon his own emotional distress plus the
- 1:19:30Speaker 5: amount of money that should Doure lost by being the
- 1:19:33Speaker 5: one hundred and forty fourth pick if he wins. John
- 1:19:36Speaker 5: Doe said he will share some of the money with
- 1:19:38Speaker 5: youth football leagues in his community. So there you go,
- 1:19:42Speaker 5: one hundred million.
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: You think you got a case.
- 1:19:45Speaker 10: You don't know?
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: No, thank you, push your thanks, Steve, get out of here.
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: Emotional distress though, trauma.
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: You think he will most traumatized. That should do.
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: He's suing the NFL for one hundred million. They say
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: he's represent himself too. Oh wow, Oh wasn't he about that?
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: No, I'm good. This is a wasted case in time.
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: You don't even have to worry about this right here,
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: it's never happened.
- 1:20:20Speaker 13: It's not he won't get a quarter really not. Hell no,
- 1:20:26Speaker 13: because you can sue for anything. You just yeah, you're
- 1:20:29Speaker 13: gonna suit them owners, all the billionaires.
- 1:20:33Speaker 2: It's gonna mask you, all right.
- 1:20:35Speaker 5: Coming up at thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll
- 1:20:37Speaker 5: play a round. It would you rather right after this?

- 1:21:21Speaker 5: run five miles or get sneezed on?
- 1:21:26Speaker 3: Fine?
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: Yeah, the runner said five. The runner on the show
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: said five. Let's hear about these other two.
- 1:21:35Speaker 2: No, I'm gonna run to five. I don't.
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: I can't sneeze Steve.
- 1:21:39Speaker 2: You want to get because I'm gonna die trying to
- 1:21:42Speaker 2: run five miles heart attack.
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: You're in great health, though, explode.
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I can't run five miles right now.
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: I know that.
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: You heard your nephew say it's so easily five because
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: he a runner. He run, He's a runner.
- 1:22:01Speaker 2: He's a runner and a legend, despite of what a
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: couple of people think. All right, moving on, Would you
- 1:22:10Speaker 2: rather I've got hate us?
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: You're such a potster?
- 1:22:16Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:22:16Speaker 5: Would you rather change your career every two years? Or
- 1:22:20Speaker 5: would you rather stay on the same job for the
- 1:22:23Speaker 5: rest of your life?
- 1:22:25Speaker 9: Oh, we're gonna do this the rest of life's talking
- 1:22:28Speaker 9: about to the wheels.
- 1:22:30Speaker 2: Still the wheels fall off. Y'all gonna have a short life,
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: tell you right now, y'all better start thinking. So for
- 1:22:49Speaker 2: the rest of my life? Will he got about seven
- 1:22:56Speaker 2: hundred and twenty some days. So that's not like you
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: can do this, man, I got I got to go
- 1:23:08Speaker 2: try something else, all right. I want to see what
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: it feels like to wake up and do what you
- 1:23:14Speaker 2: want to do.
- 1:23:15Speaker 5: I've never experienced that, really, even being in your position
- 1:23:20Speaker 5: and everything you I thought at this point you want
- 1:23:24Speaker 5: to go to work now that you have to go
- 1:23:25Speaker 5: to work.
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: Yeah, oh, I want to go to work, but I
- 1:23:28Speaker 2: want to do What about when I don't want to?
- 1:23:31Speaker 9: Like this?
- 1:23:31Speaker 2: Going? And dafore yesterday.
- 1:23:40Speaker 5: And all right, would you rather your meals for the
- 1:23:47Speaker 5: next thirty days be only meat or only vegetables?
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: Next thirty days only meat or only vegetables.
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: I'll take the veggie route. I'll go vegetables for thirty days.
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: All vegetables, Junior.
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I don't. I don't see the purpose in that.
- 1:24:05Speaker 2: I don't. So next, so what do you say the meat?
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: Are you going to all meat for the next today?
- 1:24:13Speaker 3: Spinach for today?
- 1:24:14Speaker 2: Asparagus, so you're gonna have circle sale and constipation, so
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: then it be hungry. You got a sicker patient.
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: All right, thank you, guys, would you rather?
- 1:24:29Speaker 5: Yeah, coming up next to our Lives Break of the Day,
- 1:24:32Speaker 5: and we'll close out the show with one and only
- 1:24:34Speaker 5: Steve Harvey right after this.
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show, folks.
- 1:24:43Speaker 2: There are a lot of reasons to like DA. Hyundai's
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: done a lot to support American consumers. I mean, they
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: announced their investment of twenty one billion dollars in the
- 1:24:54Speaker 2: United States over the next three years that will expand
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: manufacturing and create more jobs for Maris.
- 1:25:00Speaker 10: And they just announced that they will not be raising
- 1:25:03Speaker 10: MSRP through June second, no matter what. Called five six
- 1:25:07Speaker 10: two three one four four six zero three for more details.
- 1:25:12Speaker 5: All right, guys, here we are last Break of the
- 1:25:14Speaker 5: Day now, Steve. Earlier in the show, we had a
- 1:25:16Speaker 5: call from a woman who was a little upset with
- 1:25:19Speaker 5: you at how you handled the atheist contents earlier on
- 1:25:24Speaker 5: the show.
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: Yeah, let's hear okay, Steve, I.
- 1:25:26Speaker 12: Am calling from Dallas. It is May sixth, and I'm
- 1:25:31Speaker 12: trying to make a comment on something you just made.
- 1:25:34Speaker 12: You call people fool that they didn't believe in God,
- 1:25:38Speaker 12: you call them ignorant. I believe, well, I do believe
- 1:25:41Speaker 12: in God. You made a comment that and I'm sure
- 1:25:44Speaker 12: that those that don't believe in God are those that
- 1:25:46Speaker 12: are atheists, probably think I'm a foodent thing, I'm ignorant,
- 1:25:50Speaker 12: But I really think that's an ignorant comment that you
- 1:25:53Speaker 12: made to assume that people feel the same way that
- 1:25:56Speaker 12: you do. There are plenty people who believe in God
- 1:26:01Speaker 12: that are Christians or others different religions, and they don't
- 1:26:07Speaker 12: think negative or think that people who don't believe how
- 1:26:10Speaker 12: they believe are fools and are ignorant.
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: Vice versa.
- 1:26:14Speaker 12: There are people who are not Christians, who are atheists,
- 1:26:18Speaker 12: who don't believe in God and do not believe that
- 1:26:20Speaker 12: people who believe in God are ignorant and are fullified.
- 1:26:24Speaker 12: Really think that's an ignorant comment that you may just
- 1:26:29Speaker 12: to assume that people feel the same way that you do.
- 1:26:34Speaker 12: They're disappointing, but I'll still continue to listen to your show.
- 1:26:37Speaker 7: Have a great day.
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: Yeah, let me talk to this lady for a minute.
- 1:26:42Speaker 2: First of all, thank you for your call and your opinion.
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: I oftentimes say to people you need to listen carefully,
- 1:26:50Speaker 2: and radio is a forum where oftentimes you kind of
- 1:26:53Speaker 2: miss what's being said. Now, let's just say I said
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: exactly that. But here's what I've always said from the peers.
- 1:26:59Speaker 2: More can show up until now I said, I think
- 1:27:04Speaker 2: if you're an atheist me personally, I think you're a
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: fool for not believing in God. I am assuming if
- 1:27:12Speaker 2: you are an atheist and you look at me for
- 1:27:14Speaker 2: believing in this higher power that you can't see and
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: you believe doesn't exist, you must think I'm a fool too.
- 1:27:22Speaker 2: So I think that two fools don't need to be
- 1:27:25Speaker 2: standing around talking. That's what I've said, probably more than
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: twenty times on this show. Now, do I think you're
- 1:27:35Speaker 2: ignorant if you don't believe in God? Me personally?
- 1:27:40Speaker 7: I do.
- 1:27:41Speaker 2: I just do. I'm okay with that. But let me
- 1:27:50Speaker 2: give you a scripture. Though there's a scripture that says
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: a fool has said in his heart there is no God.
- 1:28:01Speaker 2: That's in the scripture. So you know, I understand what
- 1:28:05Speaker 2: you're I don't understand what you're saying, ma'am, and that
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: there are a lot of people who don't believe in God?
- 1:28:12Speaker 2: Who do this and do that? I don't. I don't care.
- 1:28:16Speaker 2: I don't don't, I don't care. I happen to be
- 1:28:20Speaker 2: a man of faith, and I stand on that. Now.
- 1:28:22Speaker 2: If you're not, if you don't believe in God, to me,
- 1:28:25Speaker 2: something's wrong with you. To me, you haven't given this
- 1:28:29Speaker 2: an adequate amount of thought. To me, you're not understanding
- 1:28:34Speaker 2: some basic things about life. I had that scientist on
- 1:28:40Speaker 2: my show. I can't think of his name. You all
- 1:28:42Speaker 2: gave it to me the other day, Neil deGrasse Tyson.
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: I had him on my Facebook show facebook Watch, and
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: I've had his family on Celebrity Family Feud. Nice guy,
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: nice family. But he doesn't believe in God. And I
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: didn't know that until we were sitting on my talk show,
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: and when he said it, I just went wow, and
- 1:29:11Speaker 2: it changed. It's hard for me to talk to people
- 1:29:14Speaker 2: like that because I don't see how you cannot acknowledge
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: it that there is a God, he said. There is
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: no proof that there is a God, he said, because
- 1:29:29Speaker 2: if God was in the beginning, how could he create
- 1:29:34Speaker 2: the beginning? Well, first of all, if God is infinite,
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: stop asking me how did invent it? Because it was him.
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: Where did the molecule come from that spun into this
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: ball of dust that cool and formed the Earth? Where
- 1:29:48Speaker 2: did that come from when it came from the universe? Okay,
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: where did universe come from? It came from infinity? Okay,
- 1:29:55Speaker 2: where did infinity come from? So if you're a scientist
- 1:29:58Speaker 2: and you're trying to explain this to me, I'm asking
- 1:30:01Speaker 2: you to just answer those questions for me. I believe
- 1:30:04Speaker 2: in God because I have had proof. I've just had
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: proof time and time again. I know that prayer works.
- 1:30:13Speaker 2: I know that prayer changes things. I've seen miracles performed
- 1:30:17Speaker 2: in people's lives because of faith. You can call it
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: the law of attraction if you want to. But that's
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: in the Bible too, because the Bible says a man
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: is as he thinketh. That clears it up. If you
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: look at all self help books, all of them are
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: based on the Bible. Even the best self help book
- 1:30:33Speaker 2: I ever read was The Secret. If you read The
- 1:30:35Speaker 2: Secret or watch the movie The Secret, it's all based
- 1:30:38Speaker 2: on scripture. Ain't no man came up with no new
- 1:30:41Speaker 2: concept that God didn't put in place from the very beginning,
- 1:30:45Speaker 2: from the Old Testament to the New Testament. He's very present.
- 1:30:49Speaker 2: He all over there. Every prediction, everything he said back
- 1:30:55Speaker 2: in the day applies to today. None that are some
- 1:30:58Speaker 2: old laws in the Old Testament, don't that we've given
- 1:31:01Speaker 2: up on because of the New Testament. But there is
- 1:31:03Speaker 2: a God. And I don't know why the lady felt
- 1:31:06Speaker 2: that way about to comment, but I stand on that.
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: I think a fool has said in his heart there
- 1:31:12Speaker 2: is no God. I just do. I believe that because
